I recently had the opportunity to stay at Centara Hotel Muscat, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The rooms are modern, spacious, and very comfortable, while the food was excellent with a good mix of variety and taste. What impressed me most was the hospitality – the staff were attentive, professional, and always welcoming. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it convenient for both business and leisure. For those visiting Muscat for meetings, networking, or conferences, Centara offers the right balance of comfort and accessibility, which makes it a great choice for business travelers as well. Good vegetarian food available Nearby. Lot of vegetarian food available nearby like Udupi, sarvana, Aryas, Vasantha Bhawan. A stay here feels less like a routine trip and more like a refreshing experience.

We booked two rooms, and both were spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and supportive, and the location was convenient with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options, although I did notice mosquitoes around the uncovered fruits on two occasions. Thankfully, the issue was later addressed by covering the fruits. The only other downside was the swimming pool, which seemed to require some maintenance. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with just a couple of minor areas for improvement.

We stayed at Centara Hotel, and it truly exceeded all our expectations! Compared to the Royal Tulip Hotel, which has many more reviews, the value for money and quality at Centara is much better. The location is excellent, surrounded by plenty of good restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and modern, and everything contributed to making our stay unforgettable. I would especially like to highlight the spa staff on the ninth floor — I highly recommend trying the Thai massage!

This was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. We booked five rooms, and not a single air conditioner was working. We spent five miserable hours in the heat before the management finally moved us to different rooms. That level of neglect is simply unacceptable. One of the new rooms had three guests, so the hotel provided an extra bed, but what they gave us was an absolute disgrace. The mattress was filthy, torn, stained, full of holes, and completely unhygienic. It was in such bad condition that even an animal shouldn't be expected to sleep on it. Shockingly, this disgusting mattress was arranged by the housekeeping manager himself, who clearly had no idea how to manage the situation. Instead of solving the problem, he made it worse. It is absolutely appalling that a hotel would think it's okay to offer something like this to paying guests. To make things worse, the swimming pool area was dangerous. The tiles were broken and sharp, and all of us ended up with cuts on our feet. It was a serious safety hazard, and clearly, the hotel has done nothing to maintain even basic standards. This experience was not just disappointing — it was infuriating. The condition of the rooms, the unprofessional and careless staff, the complete lack of accountability. We will never return..

Great hotel, amazing breakfast… Location isn’t the best, but you can get a taxi to anywhere very easily. The swimming pool tiles are coming off, but honestly it’s still very enjoyable and amazingly calm.

This should have been a 3-star hotel at best. I booked a deluxe room, but the towels were torn, the floor wasn’t clean, and the minibar was empty. Overall, it felt more like a guesthouse than a hotel, and the location is in the middle of a construction area, which gives a misleading impression of Muscat.

The Cenvaree spa at the hotel offer an excellent massage, Joy from Thailand do a great massage، she gave me a one hour massage and it was most restorative Massage I had in my life. If you plan to stay at that hotel you should not miss the spa and make it a part of the experience at the hotel.

The stay was amazing. The place was very quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The booking included free access to the family beach, pool, a small kids water park, and also a ladies beach. Breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety of food from different regions to suit all tastes. There are also small convenience shops on-site, which was very handy. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly. I really appreciated the welcoming gesture of coffee and dates upon arrival. The only downside is that the hotel is located about 30 minutes away from the center of Muscat, so taxi rides can be a bit pricey.

I booked the resort day pass for 20 OMR, which includes 10 OMR credit to use at the Blu Bar. The staff were very cooperative, and the experience was excellent! You get unlimited water and towels, plus full access to all the pools and the private beach, basically everything outdoors. There are also showers and changing rooms (no lockers though). I had a really relaxing day, definitely worth it!

By actively promoting sustainable practices and safeguarding the marine ecosystem, the hotel could create a distinctive identity among the region’s five-star properties and provide a truly responsible and forward-thinking experience for guests. Firstly the hotel is absolute stunning in every way, every view is beautiful! Secondly, the staff were so kind, helpful, friendly... not enough can be said from the breakfast staff, in particular the manager, Ali, to the reception. Saif was also very helpful, patient and accommodating as all the staff were. Would definitely recommend and will visit again for sure.

I felt like the food looked better than it tasted. Their palette cleaner is kind of cool and the chaat was nice but the nachos fell flat. Their karak wasn’t that great either. Lychee drink was pretty good though. I didn’t find their mango cheesecake and chocolate dirt pile cake that pleasant tasting as well. We went there as a group and was worth trying it out but I’m not sure if I would want to go back there for a second time.

The place is absolutely overrated, and the only thing that makes it worthy of visiting is the location. First, on weekends, it is an open buffet, and there is no a la card service, which on itself is a disadvantage. Second, the food can best be described as average. The options are rather limited and done in a style of any average restaurant. Second, they do not even have a proper drinks service for breakfast. If you need coffee, it is an instant pack of nescafe with hot water, which was a turning off point. Third, the approach to clients is discriminatory. We wanted to sit buy the sea window; they said it is booked. Another local family came and asked the same. They told them to sit on a different table, cleaned one table by the sea, and asked them to sit there. Obviously, they did not have a booking either, and they openly showed a behaviour of utter discrimination. While wanting to impress the locals is understandable, open discrimination will have very negative outcomes in the future!

It is one of the most fantastic cafes in Muscat which is exactly in front of the sea. So you can have a view of waves when you are drinking or eating in that place. Because I am a fan of cheese, I ordered pasta with cheese and French fries. They brought me a special sweet for welcoming and also yummy garlic bread. The main dish was delicious but there was too much fried garlic on the top that I didn't like. Staffs were friendly and kind. I love that place.

Here you will get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties. I had paneer Tikka with lacha paratha, rajasthani rice kadhi which was fab and Service was really awesome. The management and cleanliness is on top notch. A must visit and also you get the beach view with the great food. I went here with my family. A must visit and add this in ur muscat trip. Such a beautiful weekend chillout spot which is located in the heart of Muscat. I recommend trying this place especially for continental food. Their Chicken Poutine was generous and delicious. The Beef Burger was to die for. Totally impressed with their way of presenting the dishes which elevate the overall dining experience.The service we received was so good and we will definitely be back again.

Glad to see that they've kept the experience standardized across countries. The food is good, but our experience was elevated by the excellent and friendly service... Something that is rare in Oman. We visited during the soft opening. The full menu was available. Each dish was plated beautifully and served with enthusiasm... Although it was a busy night, we didn't have to wait very long. The mutton pepper and the chicken tarts were super yummy and we would love to go back for more. Although it is tempting to try everything on the menu, save space for desserts. They are a visual spectacle, and surprisingly delicious.

We found the restaurant by chance but it was a wonderful surprise. Once you enter, you know it will be a spectacular experience. The hotel staff arranged everything very well and were supportive throughout the event. The ceremony setup and seating arrangements were done nicely, and the overall environment was comfortable for both the meeting and the lunch. The buffet lunch was good, although there were only two main courses, the food quality was nice. The desserts and coffee machine options were also very satisfying. Overall, it was a smooth and well-organized experience, and we appreciate the team at Hilton Muscat for their efforts.

It was pleasant stay during my recent business visit. Location is very good. Rooms neat and clean. Staff at breakfast was very welcoming, delightful and attentive. A good feel to start the day. Only thing was the very limited vegetarian dishes option. I request to add more options. When I went to swimming pool, couldn't find towel and no staff to assist as well.

the hotel room itself was nice but the cool water wasn’t working and when i showered it was burning hot. i called to have someone check and they said an engineer would have to come but it would’ve took to long and i had to leave so i forced myself to shower in the hot hot water. the room was clean and the breakfast and restaurant for dinner was good.

Stayed here twice for business trips. First time staying for 5 nights, 2nd time staying for a night. During my 2nd time, I had bad experience because I couldn't turn off the hot water in the shower and sink, no cold water at all. I had to complained twice because the repair man didn't fix the thing when he came to inspect it during 1st time. Other than this experience, the hotel has great location

Lovely clean, fresh and comfortable hotel. Spacious rooms with a big bed, black out blinds, great air con and lovely bathroom products. Slept really well here. Nice pool area and staff all very friendly. We also had breakfast and dinner and the selection was fab. Location good for the airport and easy to get a taxi outside straight away.

I had a great experience at Aloft Muscat! The staff were very kind and helpful especially Chandan at the pool, who was really friendly, and Khalid from the front office, who was very professional and supportive. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of options to choose from. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

I had a bad experience at the reception. We were informed that the breakfast charge for kids over 6 years old was 2.5, but when we went to the restaurant after eating, they said it’s actually 5. When I mentioned that the receptionist told us 2.5, the staff said, “You go check yourself, we are not going to check for that.” I believe this is very poor service and not acceptable for guests.

Stayed one night and that's all we could take I am afraid. The cleanliness of the room with kitchen was very poor. The kitchen smelt of previous guests food. There seemed to dust or stains on most surfaces. The hotel felt very used and not new or fresh. The staff were pleasant enough but the hotel seemed very busy all night long. Food service was quick and great quality. Unfortunately the very poor cleanliness forced us to check-out. No point complaining if everything in the room needs to be cleaned. Better places are available.

I have been staying at the hotel close to 2 months. The location of the hotel is Central Muscat and within 7 minutes drive to the huge shopping malls and supermarkets for grocery shopping. The beach is 10-15 minutes drive from the hotel. The rooms are clean. I particularly want to recognize Mwana and Joynal who clean our rooms. They are pleasant and do a thorough job. We also frequent the breakfast buffet at Savannah Restaurant and enjoy the chicken samosas and the karak tea. The service from Binu, Imam and Deep always makes us look forward to breakfast. They are very pleasant and loving towards my family. Rumani and the guest services team have been welcoming and treated us with respect. Thank you for the flowers on Omani Womens day. The family have enjoyed the swimming pool and the gym which has upto date equipment and a special view of the Muscat sign on the hills. There is a spa which we will soon explore. We stayed at 715 room in this hotel: fantastic view of Mosque. 2BHK apartment at 400 AED (~100$) is good price. Hotel has a gym and swimming pool at rooftop. Gym is fanatic feels like private. Swimming pool has a panorama of city, highly recommended to attend. At ground level there is famous nightlife lounge and so many other cafes for foreigners. Even nearby there is supermarket, 5 min away by car. Mall of Oman is 6 min away. At lobby they serve the Qahwa Arabic Traditional Coffee with dates free of charge as sign of hospitality. Everyone speaks English 👍🏻 At the reception people are very helpful. Supported with WiFi promptly, supported us with luggage immediately as soon as we get out of taxi, then they gave us additional access cards with no drama. We are first time in Oman 🇴🇲 and very happy experiencing such smooth operation and useful facilities. Nature of Oman is breathtaking and we are enjoying fresh air by opening our hotel window for ventilation, (instead of AC 😮‍💨) It’s really nice place to accommodate at Muscat👍🏻

We recently stayed for 2 nights at royal tulip muscat. It has clean and well maintained rooms and is very close from many shopping malls and restaurants. What amazed me was the service and the staff. We constantly saw one person on the ground checking all small detail to ensure guests are taken care of. Realised later that it is GM himself who is spending time with staff on the ground and that clearly reflected a great team. Few instances: 1. My phone and other belongings got locked in the locker of Steam and Sauna area and the issue was sorted almost instantly by one of the staff to whom I explained the situation. 2. Even though the cleaning schedule of my room was in late evening, the housekeeping made sure to clean our room early within 30 minutes of our request. 3. Kids were so well entertained and engaged with colors and papers and super courteous staff. Thank you Royal tulip for the great stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Royal Tulip Muscat. The staff were welcoming, polite, and always ready to help. The service was efficient and professional. The hotel is well located — close to the airport and convenient for visiting different parts of Muscat. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast offers a good variety of options. Overall, an excellent choice for a comfortable and well-organised stay in Muscat.

So clean, spacious, enough mirrors, service was great, workers helped us open our trunk which we were finding difficult. Free parking on site and right in front of the hotel. Friendly service. Breakfast was great (fave was the fresh mint leaves you pick off the stem)

Inside if room was so beautiful, but compare to the price it was very normal hotel. The location is not nice when you come out of hotel there is no nice restaurant or any nice place close to it , you need car to go to first near nice place. The view of room is not good. The breakfast was so normal. The quality of fruits in breakfast was normal they almost tasted nothing.

What we liked most: - very central & convenient location in Muscat - clean and quite rooms - comfortable bed - exceptionally equipped gym (Technogym machines & dumbbells), very spacious and modern - nice rooftop pool with enough sunbeds for guests What we disliked most: - some parts of the breakfast were not as tasty as expected (e.g. fresh fruits) and coffee was not too great - room & bathroom both seemed a little bit outdated but nothing too big All in all great value for the money! Pretty good hotel at a decent price. Fairly well located within a few minutes drive of the all the main malls in muscat and also Sultan Qaboos mosque. Rights next to a supermarket also. Rooms are decently sized. Could do with being a bit cleaner but it was fine. Thanks to PRAKASH for helping out in our rooms. They provide plenty of free bottled water. Bed was comfortable. Front of house staff generally pretty good but some members could brush up on customer service skills and also maybe smile. Thanks to ADAM for helping with our bags and being so helpful. All the Restaurant staff are amazing and so friendly And helpful. Big thanks to: MANIROL, SAPNA, ANANDU and the others! Breakfast buffet is pretty good with a good variety of food and beverages. We had a late flight and the hotel kindly allowed us to keep our baggage in their store whilst we went out to kill some time. I would recommend this hotel. Thanks!

Outstanding property that have all your needs and wants addressed. My highlights are: Outstanding Executive lounge and coffee shop, mostly because of the amazing Swapna and Ali, they is very polite, professional, very articulate, always smiles nicely, insure that you are satisfied not just her service, but with your overall hotel experience and she's a very kind person. Casa de Baco is an excellent addition to the overall package. The friendly and responsive staff at the front desk make your stay feel like being home with family. Nila from house keeping provide a delicate touch of home that remind you of the loving care of being home with your own family. Highly recommend this Radisson!

I rarely ever leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this stay was truly disappointing. We booked well in advance, traveling with our 1.5-year-old child, to ensure a comfortable stay suitable for a family. Upon arrival, however, we were shocked to find that we had been assigned a smoking room. The staff tried to tell us that we had chosen it, which is completely false and quite disrespectful. There was no option to select smoking or non-smoking rooms at the time of booking, something I ALWAYS check carefully, especially because we are non-smokers and travel with a baby. When we raised the issue, they refused to change our room, saying the hotel was “fully booked.” We arrived together with a large group of about 30 adults without children, and kindly asked to be checked in first, yet they made us wait until the entire group had finished. With minimal attention, they could have easily swapped our room for a non-smoking one. They also offered us a paid upgrade as a “solution,” which made the situation even worse, since the mistake was clearly not ours. It’s unacceptable to assign a smoking room to a family with a small child, especially when this was never specified anywhere during booking. The room was connecting, and the effect of this connection made the situation unbearable, the smell of smoke constantly passed through the door from the adjoining room, which was occupied by single guests staying up late, shouting, and watching TV at full volume. The air was heavy, the smell deeply impregnated in the curtains and mattress, and our clothes reeked within minutes. The night before departure, we agreed with reception on a late check-out, just two extra hours, as a small courtesy considering the situation. The next morning, however, even before the standard check-out time, our keys were already deactivated, preventing us from entering the room. This showed a clear lack of communication among the staff, and made us feel completely disregarded and unwelcome. It was the final drop that turned a frustrating experience into true disappointment. A real shame, because with a bit of care and less superficiality, this stay could have been pleasant.

We stayed at Ramada for our first two nights in Oman and came back for 3 additional nights at the end of our road trip around the country. From a quality/price perspective, the hotel is fantastic. Rooms are large, with real king size beds, and equipped with all you need. All areas of the hotel, especially the pool and the gym are well mantained and clean. Personnel at the reception is nice and welcoming (just like everyone in Oman!). The restaurant is also nice but a little expensive. Additional services (such as the laundry and food delivery) were also on point. Look forward to coming back again in the future.

Stayed 4 nights, receptionist didn't bother to tell about amenities or facilities to avail. I parked infront of building thinking this must be hotel parking as its just infront of the hotel like everywhere else and got fine of 10 RO next day from municipality.as it was paid booking we checked in but on check out they asked for another pending amount which I didn't know, which they should have told on booking time or at least on check in. Food was bad especially steak. Didn't do breakfast though. Rooms are good but may be the need to train the reception and manager for smooth running and better customer service

I had a mixed experience at Ramada Muscat. The room was clean, but a lot of details didn’t live up to what I expected from the hotel’s ratings. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment, plates sometimes had an odd smell, the variety was very limited, and things like cheese would run out and only got refilled if you asked. The seating area also felt cramped, with tables packed too close together. There were no slippers in the room, and toiletries were only provided for one person even though my booking clearly mentioned two. Small things, but they added up and left the overall stay feeling below expectations.

We had an amazing stay at JW Marriott Muscat. The people were warm, genuine, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Every part of our experience was excellent, from the reception and catering teams to the spa. A special mention to Kay at breakfast for her exemplary service, and to Benji at the spa, who went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Both stood out for their professionalism and genuine care. A beautiful hotel made even better by an incredible team. We’ll definitely return.

Our stay in rooms 609 and 610, with executive lounge access, was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed every other aspect of the property. We loved the service in our executive lounge as well. Staff was professional and highly courteous. Rooms are spacious and clean. Amenities are comfortable too. However, I am giving a one-star rating solely due to the unacceptable conduct of the reception staff during our check-out on October 21st around 2:20 PM. When booking an O-Taxi, the app location showed 'Block 303.' I approached the two staff members at the reception desk for assistance and confirmation. Instead of offering proper guidance, they were unhelpful, merely confirming the incorrect location and instructing us to exit the gate since O-Taxis were not permitted inside the premises. Crucially, they smirked and laughed at our query. This misinformation and lack of assistance resulted in my 75-year-old mother, my 10-year-old daughter, and myself waiting outside the main gate for over 15 minutes in the afternoon heat while trying to locate our ride. As a Marriott member, I expect staff to provide professional assistance and courtesy, especially when guests are traveling with elderly and young family members. I urge management to review the actions and training of the staff working the reception desk at that time.

10/10 on everything ! - service is outstanding, from the front desk to the restaurants , housekeeping too! Everyone is so nice. - the gym is amazing. Best gym we have seen in an hotel - breakfast buffet is also one of the best I have seen. They have fresh coconuts , tons of honeys, homemade items with the hotel garden productions which is lovely! - room is spotless, bathroom has everything. The best part was all the attentions we received for my fiance birthday. Sweet notes, ballons and even a pancake / candle celebration. Made our day! We also did the sushi night in the Butter Bun restaurant. Delicious! The hotel is a bit remote from city center , but we had a car rental so it was perfect. And parking service included is so convenient. Otherwise you can use taxi. We are so happy that we chose the JW Marriot for our little trip. Will definately recommend and come back there! Lovely hotel, and the staff are very kind and attentive. Standard rooms are really spacious. Not a 5 star rating, as others have stated, it's crazy that they dont allow Otaxi to pick up from the hotel, and so force guests to take a rip off taxi instead. Why Marriott would support this, and ensure this is the last thing people will remember when leaving is beyond me. And of course, not content with being way more than Otaxi, the fare quoted on the booking machine is not what you end up paying when you arrive, its always more!

We had a great stay at JW Marriott Oman — everything from the service to the ambiance was exceptional. We used this as an airport hotel for a night when we arrived, so can’t judge how convenient it is to explore Muscat from there. We liked it and it was reasonably priced. Good service, good breakfast and a nice pool area. Of course the location is not picturesque close to a highway.

I had a massage with Nara in Wyndham Garden Muscat and it was genuinely fantastic. She is extremely professional, warm. The whole session felt relaxing and therapeutic, and she checked in just the right amount to make sure the pressure was perfect. I walked out feeling lighter and completely refreshed. Highly recommend booking with Nara if you want a great massage and a wonderful experience!

I stayed here for 21 days . The staff and everyone at the hotel were welcoming and helpful. The room had enough space and a view over the mountains. The location is def good to discover Muscat. Overall I had a very comfortable stay . Highly recommend.

I am new to Oman... I was invited by my friends for a hangout and clubbing.. I was too excited and it was in COHIBAR @ THIS HOTEL... Security are futile... They won't worked as what they should be, they don't perform their duties as security who supposed to secure customers or guest visiting their edifice or establishment.. it was unfortunate, that is why, let us bear in mind... Before coming or visiting this place try to check security vividly to avoid any circumstances that may occur in preventing selves at risk... I hope that the management would took actions in improving Thier security for the sake of their guests and visitors...

The individual stationed at your reception was neither well-managed nor capable of handling customer service professionally. They lacked understanding, were far from polite, and failed to maintain even basic hospitality standards. Frankly, their communication style was unacceptable—cheap, unrefined, and completely out of place in a hotel of your standing. It felt as though an untrained laborer was put in charge of a role that requires professionalism and education. This left a very bad impression, and I believe it could severely damage the reputation of your hotel. I assume the owner of this establishment is a good person and cares about maintaining a high standard. If that’s the case, I strongly urge you to reconsider the training and selection of your reception staff. Either equip them with proper training on customer service, professionalism, and respectful communication, or rethink their suitability for the role. A hotel’s reputation is built on its service, and I genuinely believe your brand deserves better. I stayed here for five nights and was overall really impressed with the staff, the bed being comfortable and sockets by the bed, and the decent WiFi for working and uploading social media. For video though I went to the Mall of Oman 🇴🇲 as the WeMeet coworking space a 5-minute drive away. I had originally booked this place as I thought it was walking distance to the grand mosque and it’s not really. I ended up walking the near hour to get there (one way) but it involved walking along the highway as it’s impossible to cross. This was my fault though as Google maps is deceptive and I didn’t do enough research to realise how it’s such a driving city. 🌆 Any other attractions are near the Corniche and Souq (like the museums), a solid 23 or more drive away. Muscat truly is VAST. My only concern is the toiletries are minis which is so not environmentally friendly 😟 There doesn’t seem to be any recycling either but you can recycle plastics and tins in the mall! Great deal overall price wise. I had a great view of Muscat from my balcony at room 701. Finally the Tanzanian chef is awesome!! He makes a delicious omelette, halloumi salad and falafel sandwich. Overall pretty cheap prices for food. Also a 10- minute walk from the Voice of Fitness gym for only 1 rial for a day pass.

Great Value and Location, but Needs Better Cleaning I recently stayed at the Muscat Inn Hotel and was pleased with many aspects of my visit. The location is fantastic, making it convenient to explore the area, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. However, the cleanliness could use some improvement. When I checked in, I found a dirty towel in front of the bathroom, and the room felt like it had only been surface-cleaned rather than thoroughly cleaned. This was a bit disappointing, but it’s something that can easily be improved. Overall, I would consider staying here again if they addressed the cleaning issues. Great value and location—just needs a bit more attention to detail in housekeeping.

Muscat Inn Hotel is a 2-star property located in Al Ghubrah Ash Shamaliyyah, close to Ghubrah Beach Park and nearby dining options. Rooms are simple but clean, air-conditioned, and equipped with basic amenities including free Wi-Fi and parking. The staff is friendly and helpful. While the hotel is good for budget-conscious visitors, some rooms may feel small and the overall vibe is basic. It’s a decent choice for short stays or travelers focused on exploring Muscat rather than luxury accommodation.

Reasonable price and good quality.Room is clean and hotel staffs are also friendly. Only things that I can't confirm is bad access from downtown and not many shops around there. But even you can still walking to bus station and restaurant.

TLDR; good location and good price. First, the location is very good when coming from the airport, offering both easy access to the city, while also allowing to avoid traffic jams. It's also close to the Mosque. Second, the staff was friendly and helpful, accommodating a late night check-in. They also directed us to the free parking in front. Third, the room was indeed pretty nice with more amenities than expected for a 2 start hotel, with a great and comfortable bed and reasonable views from the balcony window. Finally, the price is very good for the provided amenities.

We loved this hotel! It's new, very bright, and spotlessly clean — both the rooms and the entire property. The receptionists were incredibly polite, helpful, and hospitable. The restaurant food was truly delicious, and all the hotel and restaurant staff were professional and genuinely cordial. The coffee at Second Cup café is excellent and served with a smile, and the food is very tasty. We would come back to stay when visiting Muscat and recommend it highly to prospective guests.

It was one of the best experience to stay in Kyraid. The hotel is accessable from all parts of the capital. The receptionist Muhanmod is very humble , educated and welcoming person. Inside dining is very unique and palatable. Waiter Jasmine is the best in helping choosing best food. She is polite and helping in any issue related to food . Strongly recommended hotel.

Portions served adequate, pricing average, it will be a really long time if I ever gather the strength to go back for Biryani to this place

I ordered chicken tikka masala from bousher branch, through talabat, and in my order I requested for a non oily food. However, the food that I received was completely oily. As for the taste, it wasn’t the best. I can even say that it didn’t taste as chicken tikka masala. With all that said, I’m gonna give this restaurant another shot and during that, I’ll visit the restaurant myself and I’m hoping that it would taste good.

We initially booked a room for 6 nights, but there was no wifi in the rooms and is only available on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the beach that is right across the street was not for swimming as well which we weren’t aware of. The rooms were not as clean and the villa is generally dusty. Luckily tho, the ladies there were extremely nice to us and let us check out the next day and pay for 1 night only. Their breakfast was nice and homemade.

We started our holiday in Oman at Lana Villa. Large room with sea view overlooking the fishermen and their boats. Good breakfast and you could eat outside which was nice. We rented a 4x4 from the Lifetime tours and we were so lucky to have a brand new MG. It was fantastic, and performed brilliantly off road. Unfortunately when we first arrived Turkish Airlines had lost one of our bags. We were camping and much of our equipment was in this. The staff at Lana Villa were so helpful in providing us with a mat to sleep on and pillows etc, They were unbelievably helpful. A fantastic small hotel/B&B to start or end your holiday.

We had an amazing stay at Lana Villa. Ms. Rona was welcoming and professional, and the room was pristine with sea view. Breakfast is decent. The customer service was outstanding, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. I highly recommend Lana Villa for a relaxing experience.

Nice small scale hotel with a friendly personal approach. The breakfast is not extensive but good. Much better then a big buffet where a lot of food lands in the bin. There a various rooms with different sizes, all nice and clean. Because of the small scale guests, staff interacted with each other, which we appreciated.

Nice place for a short layover. Super friendly team. If you have the right room you can have a great sea view. The beach in front of the house is commercially used by the fishing people so it is not the nicest one. But as we used Lana Villa as a Start and End point for a road-trip, it was perfect for it.

We rented a 4x4 car with a rooftop tent from Lifetime Tours/Lana Villa. The whole experience was amazing: the car was in a very good condition and we didn't have any problem with it. Everyone working in Lana Villa was super friendly and helpful. Flora and Lala provided excellent service, they even let us leave our luggage in the villa while waiting for our flight. Also, huge thank you to the owner of the business for letting us use the car for a couple more hours to kill the time in Muscat, really appreciate it! Strongly recommend Lana Villa!

We also enjoyed the roof terrace with the café which was delicious. Also don’t miss out on the breakfast in the morning. All of the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and easy going. phenomenal location and service. clean and quite pretty rooms. our host upgraded our room to one of the private suites with a private bathroom for free as we went in off season which was lovely. aircon worked great and was needed for the summer! we were offered fresh towels, cleaning, and importantly cold bottled water at every opportunity which was lovely. the room and building featured code doors which was lovely not having to remember a key. the location was walking distance to a lot of great attractions, as well as a bus station and plenty of taxis for getting around otherwise. tons of good food and sights in the area, but far enough from the main road that it was quite tranquil at night. would highly recommend! we also got breakfast one of the mornings (at a fair additional price) which was super nice in the upstairs cafe featuring balcony rooms.

The bathroom was private but not connected to the room so just be aware that you have to move through a public area to get to the bathroom and the room. The host was wonderful, kind and helpful. He continually asked if I needed more cold water before going out which was very considerate. There is also free parking if you rented a car.

Just loved the Behlys Boutique Hotel when we stayed earlier in the year. The rooms are large and really comfortable (great bed linen!) - some with lovely balconies. The pool is really lovely and long, so you can have a good swim - and very welcome for relaxing. The breakfast was brilliant. Service really could not have been better. It is close to the airport, and a 20 plus minute drive to the Corniche and Souq, a bit further to the Old Town, but it is pretty close to the beautiful Grand Mosque, and Muscat is so spread out, you would have to drive or get a taxi to get around. The owner gave very helpful advice, including about using the local taxi app. There is a great café nearby on the beach. Great walks along the beach - fun to see local people meeting up for chats, picnics etc. Lovely friendly cats around the hotel too.

Very nice property. We had a large room with a terrace on the second floor. If you like swimming, you benefit from a fantastic long pool which is very convenient. Excellent breakfast. Convivial common places and very nice staff. The parking is also covered for most guests. The location is rather close to the airport, so we had to sleep with closed windows. However, most of the year, you need AC, which requires anyway to close them.

Back home now but still remembering this place. We had a superior room which was sooo big. Inlcuding to big beds (good for 4), balcony and view on the pool. This is a wonderful place and we wished we had booked this again for our last days in Muscat. The host and his staff are wonderful and very supportive if you need anything. Location on 4 stars because you need transport to get around, although there is a beach nearby with a cafe and over weekends there are street food booths by the beach. 24hr saftey, you can walk around anytime! We were staying there at the beginning and at the end of our trip in Oman. The place is great, clean and spacious rooms, great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The owner is extremely nice and helpful and is always ready to give useful advice on what to do in Muscat and Oman in general, where to eat out or whatever your needs may be. The pool is great as it is large enoght to do some serious laps. The beach is walking distance and the street along the beach is great for jogging. Great value for money - we will definitely return.

Overall I’d definitely recommend the boutique. Stayed there 4 nights and it was a 10-minute drive away from the port for scuba diving. It’s a really nice guest house and was pretty relaxing. My room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was sufficient. I did choose the place as it was also close to the beach however I went once, wasn’t really impressed and didn’t go back. There was lots of food leftovers (melons, bones, carcasses) and plastic (wrappings, old sandals, packaging). I spent my time by the pool. I would return.

This guest house is amazing with all facilities. Everything was neat and clean, well maintained too. It actually fills the gap between the farm house and hotel stay. As we went during this time(starting of winter) pool water feels like fresh water pools. Morning dive to the pool before to check out made the ending perfect💆🏻‍♂️ Just my suggestion to the authority is that if they could arrange more sofas to the living room would be more comfort for group of people.

This is a great budget option. The room was huge, with a small kitchenette. No hot water and an old, unrenovated bathroom. The location is great because it’s right off the beach, and the best part is that you have access to the amazing Grand Hyatt facilities. I would elect to stay here to save money and use the great Grand Hyatt facilities.

Cheap hotel - price is definitely a plus here. Another advantage is that you have access to luxurious pool in Hyatt nearby. Rooms are not well kept and things inside them are worn out. Expect rust, dampness and mold. Breakfast is medicore - some dishes were not fresh (you need to smell before you eat them). If you want to have access to the pool and beach for the fraction of the Hyatt room price - I would go for it.

Watching the fishermen while doing some work on my laptop. We had the whole house alone for ourselves on our stay. The host was super friendly and provided us with lots of infos on what to do in that area. We hiked, found lonely beaches and chilled on the roof-top afterwards. Qantab is a small fishertown with not much to do than relax and breath! A bit of „old“ Oman maybe. Just around the corner are some big resort hotels with lots of international restaurants. Disclaimer: the beach on the last foto is a 15 min drive and then a 15 min walk.

When I am staying at the Royal Tulip Hotel, I usually order breakfast as room service because I am not a big fan of buffets. They have three different breakfast options to choose from. The breakfast is beyooooond AMAZING! Nice, fresh and warm B.K. just like home-made breakfast. You will savour every bite of your breakfast, and I am sure you won't be disappointed! They also have some dessert options. I would truly recommmend the Um Ali; the BEST I have ever had in Oman. I don't recommend their cheesecake though.
