Slug and Lettuce Glasgow

Recently visited for lunch with my fiancé, lady serving was lovely and very helpful. Food was lovely and didn't wait long for it either. Very reasonably priced as well for being in the city centre and if you love a good decor like me the place was stunning. They also have an extensive cocktail menu but unfortunately I was driving this time around x

I went in with my brother and father in law at the weekend and thought the place looked spectacular. It was very busy, mainly girls day out so maybe we were not the target clientele but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. We were sat down and left with the menu. We weren't actually sure if we were required to order via the app or if someone would come over. Eventually we decided to use the app. The food came and it was delicious although I did feel the portions were small. The burger was really good though and the boys enjoyed the sharer. In summary, a very nice place, good food but service could be better.

Our server Adam was amazing! So attentive, very friendly and made us feel so welcome! Drinks and Brunch very good too! Will defo be back for a boozy brunch! Give Adam a bonus for being so Great! 🥰

Went for the boozy brunch. Very disapointed. First of all they did not have any eggs…? For a brunch place. Secondly there was not much alcohol in the drinks. Thirdly the food was terrible. A bright light was the service, they were doing their very best. All in all very hard to believe the good ratings from our experience.

Went here yesterday for the first time, thought looks very nice, sat down, waited maybe 10/15 minutes to be served. We ordered fish and chips. Omg ..I seen I coming on the plate and that the hell is that. It looked liked it had been fried a hundred times, but were like maybe it tasted ok, omg no, it was as dry as a bone, burnt to a crisp, also the chips were cold. I shouted the waitress, who was so lovely, and told her. She said it was o my brought in this morning, I’m like has the chef been trying to experiment how many times he can fry this, she said would you like some scampi, we says yes. The scampi came, looked nice, tasted nice, chips were a bit warmer but not hot enough, the restaurant was freezing 🥶, we had to put our jackets on. We had intended to buy a desert, but after that experience we were like no, let’s get out of here, and went somewhere else for a coffee and cake, which was lovely and warm, and tasted beautiful. I will never, ever set foot in that restaurant again, I have never in my life had to give such negative feedback ever, but that’s how bad it actually was
