Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Located in Glasgow, Paesano Pizza is a popular restaurant known for its wood-fired, artisan pizzas. The open kitchen and industrial space create a unique atmosphere with wall tiles and sharing tables. It was the first to introduce Neapolitan pizza to the area and uses authentic Italian wood-fired ovens heated to 500 degrees Celsius for perfect cooking. The pizzas have a light, airy crust and are made with high-quality ingredients imported from Italy.
We intended on eating here last time we were in Glasgow, we wish we had as we had an excellent time. The pizzas are amazing, we had the Bianca pizza, the whole menu looked awesome and lots of variety. Great selection of drinks as well and great coffee. Staff are excellent, Heather looked after us and she was very engaging and provided great suggestions. Eat here if you are in Glasgow.

Paesano Pizza – A Slice of Italy in Glasgow I was recommended to try Paesano Pizza during a short visit to Glasgow, and I’m genuinely glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the experience was fantastic. Despite how busy the place was, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I was lucky to find a seat in such a popular spot, and the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable. The pizza itself was outstanding — rich in flavour and authentically Italian. It genuinely felt like a taste of Naples right in the heart of Glasgow. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the central location, and the service was impressively fast. My order arrived within minutes, served with clean cutlery and complimentary tap water. Overall, I highly recommend Paesano Pizza to anyone visiting Glasgow. I’ll definitely make time to return on my next trip!
Islam S — Google review
We arrived for an early dinner and were greeted by a wonderful staff who promptly took care of us and gave us a seat. Since it wasn’t busy at the time, we had a great time. My family decided to order three different pizzas to try. We chose two margarita pizzas, cotta ham and mushroom, and a special pizza. The margarita pizzas were classic and delicious. The dough and mozzarella were outstanding, fresh, and perfectly chewy. The pizza sauce was definitely homemade. The cotta ham, mushroom, and special pizzas were simply amazing. They offered a unique twist on the traditional pizza, with the meat adding a salty flavour that complemented the green toppings. We also noticed a chilli olive oil on the side, and adding it to the pizzas took them to the next level. It added a whole new layer of flavour that made it the best pizza I’ve ever had. Overall, we were not disappointed and highly recommend trying out this hidden gem of a pizza place just south of Buchanan Street.

Visited solo on my first night in Glasgow and had to return on my final night before I left. The dough is brilliant and there's so many flavours to choose from it was tough to make a decision! It's not written on the menu, but I wish I was told I could order half-half or two flavours on my first night when I was struggling to decide between a few. However Thato was still really helpful in providing recommendations and I really loved his cheerful energy and went No.8 spinach & ricotta base with mushrooms - took half of it home for dinner the next day which was still delicious. My taste buds were hit with flavour the moment I took a bite. On my second visit I was served by Toni who was really lovely and I got No.9 smoked scarmoza cheese. I requested to get it in half size (which isn't also stated on the menu, but possible). The tiramisu was pricey but it tasted excellent too. Service at 6:30pm was quick on my first night where I got served within 5 mins of my order, whilst my second visit took 20 mins when I arrived at peak time at 7:30pm which was understandable. To summarise, I've not stopped thinking about Paesano Pizza since visiting 3 weeks ago. A must try if you're in Glasgow!
Kelly C — Google review
Probably the best slice of pizza I’ve had in my life. Visiting from the U.S. - I have had New York slices, Chicago deep dish, etc., and this pizza might just top them all. You can truly taste how fresh the ingredients are, and it is clear the pride they take in their food. I also had a glass of the Paesano Bianco (house white), which was excellent as well - although I wish it was served in an actual wine glass, not the same cup as my water. Amazing atmosphere & excellent menu - please start expanding to the states soon!!
Faith U — Google review
Super tasty pizza! We had to wait for a table but that was really fast. Great pizza with good dough. The only thing to improve would be service, they are too much in a hurry and didn’t give us any attention.
Julia L — Google review
Very nice pizza, especially the day’s special with pesto and potato. Decent burrata too
Abhishek M — Google review
Top-notch pizza with quality ingredients, baked in the wooden oven. Spacious place, cozy atmosphere, authentic vibes from Italy. Zero bloating afterwards. Reasonable price, clean restrooms, attentive service. And… instagrammable!

Indian restaurant
Ajay Kumar's Indian restaurant Swadish is a popular choice for Glasgow diners, with an inventive take on traditional dishes. The menu features a vegan option alongside traditional Indian favourites, and the outdoor seating allows you to enjoy the stunning Merchant City surroundings.
To say this was the best Indian restaurant in Glasgow would do it a disservice, it’s just one of the best restaurants in Glasgow full stop. The food is impeccable. The meat is perfectly cooked, the flavours all stand out and the portion sizes are good. It’s not your typical chopped meat in sauce, it’s really fine dinning done Indian style. The service was excellent, all of the staff were great. I’m really looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.
Gordon A — Google review
Outstanding experience dining in this amazing Indian restaurant. We opted for Ajay Kumar's 5-course tasting menu it was truly the best Indian food we've had. The flavours, textures and presentation was exceptional along with the paired wines has left us with great memories so much so we're returning in June to try his Sunday lamb roast. If you love Indian food then look no further than Swadish by Ajay Kumar you won't be disappointed. Thank you for a great experience. See you in June.
Alan T — Google review
Visited Swadish and had a pleasant experience overall. The ambience was warm and inviting, with a good atmosphere. Service was okay, but the quality of food stood out—flavors were well-balanced with just the right amount of spice. Went to try their thali but was not aware that it is only available till 4 pm. The dessert was the highlight, truly the cherry on the cake. However, the portion sizes were a bit small. Despite that, we enjoyed our meal and had a good experience overall.
Abby S — Google review
After over a week in London and then Glasgow we found this restaurant. The food was the best we had in Scotland and England. The presentation was absolutely beautiful and the drinks paired very well with our starters and main dishes. We were served by Ayush. The service was perfect and attentive. We were able to take our time and every dish and the nuanced flavors were explained to us as we received them. Overall, this meal made my trip. Suck, Scallops, Pigeon, Pork Belly, Pork Curry, Monkfish, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan. Perfection.
Storme N — Google review
Amazing food. I am an Indian and most of the Indian dishes are authentic, especially the lamb Briyani, and other South Indian dishes. Reasonably priced for a great ambience and experience. If Indians have missed local food and have not had a good experience in other restaurants, this is the place for you.
Syed M — Google review
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I truly enjoyed spending quality time here. It's one of the better options in the city for vegetarians, with a decent selection of drinks as well. The ambiance is peaceful and inviting. Thank you Swedish by ajay kumar and anish team.
Sunder S — Google review
Best indian restaurant in Glasgow. I was totally blown away by the quality of the food and the atmosphere was beautiful, laid back and tasteful. I had the pani puri and the presentation was beautiful and everyone on our table enjoyed the taste. Very healthy and fresh. Every pickle and chutney on the popadom tray seemed as if it was made on site and tasted fantastic. All the currys we ordered were delicious, rich and flavourful. Menu was adventurous and included many different meats including lamb shank, pidgeon etc. I had butter chicken with chicken thighs (which taste better than breasts and had no gristly bits at all just tasty soft meat in the butter chicken). Gulab jamun also fantastic. Wine all tasty and a good selection. Sadly they obly had boiled or pilau rice (which was just normal quality rather than everything else here which was next level amazing). I hope they can add some coconut or lemon rice to the menu. Omg the naan was incredible! Very thin and flavourful peshwari naan. I woke up this morning and thought about the naan strait away!
Lucy L — Google review
Most amazing fine dining experience I've ever had as a vegan. Partner who eats meat, also had an amazing meal. Can tell the chef has put a lot of time and expertise into flavour balance, combinations, and presentation. Paired wines with each course. Service outstanding. Hung up our coats on arrival and remembered which coats were ours on the way out. Little touches that are hard to find these days. Very attentive staff. Very professional. Chilled atmosphere, with chilled background music. Reasonably priced given the whole experience and care in the food and service. (Only to be picky, but I do like a wee candle on the table and think it would suit the ambience of the place, but that's personal preference).

Restaurant
Mamasan Bar & Thai BBQ is a stylish and vibrant restaurant in Glasgow that offers a fusion of Southeast Asian cuisine, cocktails, and a modern ambiance. The eatery takes inspiration from the diverse flavors of South-East Asia, preparing everything from scratch on-site, including their own coconut cream for distinctive curries. The menu caters to various dietary preferences such as halal, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
Myself and my partner went recently for lunch. We redeemed an "itison" voucher for the 5 course taster menu. Great value. The food was really nice. A well designed menu and brought loads of different flavours. A really pleasant experience. The service was spot on, everyone was really friendly and attentive. Shout out Cameron, Finn, Conor and Nicola. They looked after us so well. I would definitely recommend and look forward to being back. One note- consider adding the optional course if you're very hungry.
Eoin M — Google review
What a stunning restaurant! The food was gorgeous, we had the chicken satay followed by the ribeye accompanied with a beautiful red. The staff are friendly & polite too. Definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been, only a few minutes walk from Queen Street Train Station.
Charmaine J — Google review
I would highly recommend Mamasan in Ingram street! Went at lunchtime and although no lunchtime menus anymore (revamp), a collection of small/large plates can be ordered. We had chicken satay (small plate) which had the most beautiful sauce. I went for pork belly rice noodles (drunk noodles) and my wife was the mango chicken dish with Jasmin rice. Both beautiful and so tasty! Can't remember the name of the chicken dish. A large plate with 2 sides would have been more than enough but now we know, we can order differently. The cocktails were good, very good. The 'Smoked almond old fashioned' arrived with a lid with burning embers on top, leaving a lovely plume of smoke. The 'black smoke' had an interesting flavor and look (squid ink) 😱 The place is huge and there is a bar section, I look forward to visiting just for a few cocktails. Staff could not be better, attentive, polite and very knowledgeable. Prices are fair for the city centre and worth it for the quality of the food and atmosphere.
Martin D — Google review
I love this place, which is why I celebrated my birthday there. The atmosphere is great, I'm a passive server and it's delicious. Especially the Peking duck was the best I've ever had. A large selection of incredibly tasty cocktails with interesting presentation. If you have friends who don't drink alcohol, you can safely go here, they offer great variations of non-alcoholic delicious cocktails as well.
Anastasiia F — Google review
First time here and was such an amazing dining experience. The food was all so delicious. The drinks were excellent. The music was great. Loved the full experience and will definitely be back again soon to go through more of the menu. Highly recommended.
Stuarty B — Google review
Really nice environment, great helpful staff. The bar menu is big, with some really nice sounding cocktails- but I was driving. Food, interesting Asian fusion menus usually fail (when you’ve eaten in Asia you know the difference). But, the food here was very good. The Thai fried chicken as a starter needs to be an option as a main - it’s probably the best I’ve had in Scotland. The squid was prepared properly (rarely happens in UK) and was perfectly cooked and tender. The main course pork belly was good, and adding in the veg and the pineapple worked really well. In summary, the dishes are well thought and well prepared. It’s a little in the pricey side, but that’s life and a lot better value than nearby premium restaurants.
C V — Google review
This is a really cool bar brasserie. I was there at lunchtime recently which is why it got on 3 stars for atmosphere...I was the only guest for most of the service. I'm sure it gets really busy at night and would recommend booking in advance. Overall it was a great lunch with attentive staff and excellent food & drinks. It's Asia meets Scotland ..who'd have said that 20 years ago 🤔 but it works. The vibe is cool and I noticed a DJ booth high above the entrance so would expect cool vinyl vibes on a weekend. I enjoyed a pork belly dish with rice. It was a huge portion which I couldn't eat but I managed a space for a cocktail 🍹. Definitely plan to return next time I'm looking for a dinner reservation.

Mediterranean restaurant
Babs is a Mediterranean restaurant located in Glasgow city centre, known for its innovative concept and warm atmosphere. From the same team behind Bread Meats Bread, Babs offers a unique take on posh kebabs and other street food dishes. The restaurant features a relaxed dining space where you can enjoy a wide range of flavorsome shareable foods, including mezze, kofte, shawarma, and shish.
Really enjoyed my visit here! They had some nice vegan options, and the drink selection was great too. I tried their vegan wrap and a refreshing pomegranate lemonade mocktail - both were delicious. I wouldn’t mind coming back again! One small suggestion: it would be great to see more vegan options on the menu, especially for desserts - there weren’t any vegan choices available in that section. Otherwise, a fantastic spot!

I've been here twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Admittedly not my favourite cuisine but I was on a work lunch and the food was great. I opted for a side of rice which was lovely, my colleagues got chips and said they were okay. Service was great, greeted on arrival, prompt delivery of the menus, drinks came quickly and then the food was cooked freshly but didn't take too long to come. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
Graeme L — Google review
Great place with really tasty food and nice ambience. The portion are big; but service could be better- lots of different waiters came to us asking for the same things all over, it was annoying. They could just assign one waiter for the table to avoid that.
Julia L — Google review
Just brilliant. Colourful, flavourful, delicious food at reasonable prices - generous servings and friendly service. The dips and bread were incredible. Would return in a heartbeat.

Excellent authentic Turkish food. I had the chicken shish which was a great portion size and I felt it was great value until a £1.80 service charge was added at the time of payment. I was told the SC is optional but felt it was good service so I didnt request to remove it. Not sure if it was made clear on the menu.

Amazing meal last night. We ordered the the sharing mezze for 2 with beef Donner fries, chicken shawarma hummus and the greek salad. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The selection of 4 dips and bread were fantastic too. The main dish was 4 grilled skewers, 1 lamb,1 prawn and 2 different types of chicken on a bed of grilled veg. These were all outstanding too. Service was great and the 2 waiters were really friendly. Great value too. All the food , 2 pints of beer, extra bread and coffee was £70. Really hope the guys open a restaurant in Edinburgh too. 🤣

Nonna Said is a lively eatery known for its industrial-style dining room and unique Napoli-style pizzas. The flagship restaurant in Candleriggs is set to open soon, offering dynamic flavor combinations like salt and chili chicken, mac and cheese, buffalo sauce, and the Scottish BBQ pizza with Buckfast BBQ sauce. Customers have raved about the unusual pizza flavors such as Camembert & hot honey garlic and Philly steak.
Definitely recommend! The service was 10/10 with friendly and great staff, especially one of the managers. We had vegetarian and normal pepperoni pizzas and both were delicious, everything was also priced well the service was really quick.
Madelyn M — Google review
The staff and very friendly and ready to help. I started with the lasanaga fritta - deep fried lasanga bites. The outside crisp was thin a little cheesy with a perfect crunch. I personally felt that three was too much with a pizza and would recommend sharing this as it’s quite filling as they are decent sized pieces. I really enjoyed my pizza it was very thin and crispy and had a rich tomato flavoured based. The music was loud club drum and base vibes. It was also a little dark for me personally but others seem to find it an ideal date spot. Lastly I liked that the mocktail options were flavour based so a surprise. I didn’t get one this time but will do when I return. I would recommend and will be coming back

Only reviewing the food and not the wait staff as we ordered pizza from the hatch outside Baad to sit outside in the courtyard but oh my god the vegan gluten free option was so bad that my friends and I burst out laughing the moment we opened our boxes. Theirs was a pizza with normal base and normal cheese which looked and tasted very nice apparently. Mines can be seen in the photo 😂. Was too tired and hungry to take it back so I tried a slice (which was a full quarter for some reason??) and it tasted like the sad “microwave pizzas” K tried to make in uni with tortilla wraps as a base (for clarity I don’t think that’s how they made it, it just had similar taste and texture). The worst part is it was £2 extra for vegan cheese and gluten free base so I paid £18 for this thing 😭 If you can’t make a half way decent alternative for people with lactose/other dietary issues just take it off the menu so people can try somewhere else and not waste their energy and money. I mean look at the thing!!😭

Family of 3, we ordered 2 pizzas and 3 starters. We ordered the salt and chill battered smoked sausage, wasn't impressed as its wasn't a smoked sausage at all and there was absolute no salt and chilli taste to it. Mozzarella stick was nice and the chilli cheese bites were ok. Pizzas were the best but it took about 30-40 minutes to receive the second pizza. We were told we would get our drinks and Pizza off the bill but only th Pizza was deducted. Service was great but unlikely to return as a family.

Great service, friendly environment, lgbt+ friendly and the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever tried, went to the pride party and they had a dj and gave out free rainbow cake 🍰 🍕 🌈

Cant believe anyone would leave anything but a 5 star review..this place has got to be one of the top places we have ever been to. Staff working their butts off even when packed to the brim always get a brilliant service. Food 10/10 and iv tried most of the menu😂 great for the kids too staff are always interacting with them when their not too busy and always checking in to make sure foods ok and that were ok for drinks. Kids favourite has to be Donna. Weve been alot and she is 9/10 times our server (she must work alot as this is our go to everytime were in glasgow) All in all the best place for a pizza and a cockail. Got to praise all the staff as you all do a brilliant job and go above and beyond at all times

Errol's Hot Pizza is a popular spot in trendy Govanhill, Glasgow, where the cool crowd flocks for delicious pizzas. The tiny shop may require you to wait outside, but the experience is well worth it. Run by former chefs from Alchemilla in Finnieston, their expertise shines through in their cooking. Specializing in Detroit-style pizza with crispy caramelized edges, Errol's also offers New York-style pizza and a variety of sides at reasonable prices.
Highly recommend Errol’s. The vibes in here are so cool and you don’t feel like you’re in Glasgow at all - very New York New York. This was up there with the best NY style pizza I’ve had in Glasgow and such good value. The BYOB element is fab too. In total we paid £40 for our large pizza, salad, burratta, dip, and corkage. Love that the burratta changes regularly and the salad was crazy but so good. Service was well paced and friendly too. Can’t wait to return!

By far the best pizza in the Southside of Glasgow. This place could stand tall on its food alone but with the addition of the funky retro atmosphere and awesome rock music it's an instant winner. If it was easier to get a table I would eat here every weekend.
Ryan G — Google review
We came to Glasgow for the weekend and on Saturday afternoon, set about the business of trying to identify the thinnest, crispiest, most authentically Romana-Styled pizza in town. 'Erol's Hot Pizza' appeared to be a fairly good bet, so we resolved to walk for 45 minutes (past innumerable Hipsteresque 'Napoletana-Styled' outlets; offering characteristically sumptuous and puffy-looking UNESCO-protected crusts of exquisite sourdough with little puddles of of terribly expensive toppings somewhere in amongst them for you to tuck your knife and fork into 🙄), and present ourselves in person to contend for the walk-in table at 'Erol's Hot Pizza' as upon phoning to enquire, we were informed that all of their bookings were taken (I would recommend booking in advance, apparently they are consistently full). The staff were understanding, and advised us to entertain ourselves at a nearby establishment whereupon they would ring us in the event that a table were to become available. After a refreshing beverage and half a game of Cribbage at The Victoria across the road, the phone rang with the happy tidings that a table had indeed become available for us. The atmosphere inside was relaxed and the music good. To make matters even better, we were informed that 'Erol's Hot Pizza' was in fact BYO so I sourced a good bottle of wine from nearby. The pizzas themselves were nothing short of sensational. Exactly what I had been hoping for; wide enough to protrude over the edge of a large pizza plate in every direction, crispy enough to pick up an entire slice between finger and thumb without the need to support the pointy end with another finger, and thin enough that I felt that I could happily take down another straight afterwards had the occasion provided. Importantly, they were not suffocating in a slick of cheap cheese. The perfect, sparing allocation of quality ingredients to allow optimum conditions for the dough to actually cook properly. An observance so often scornfully overlooked by the Common Or Garden incompetent High-Street Pizzaiolo... An entirely joyous pizza experience. Probably the best pizza in the city. A number of regular patrons with whom we spoke certainly seemed to think so. Definitely one of the best pizzas that I have eaten. There have been many... many... Literally cannot recommend highly enough. Three cheers and five stars for 'Erol's Hot Pizza'!

Pizzas were 10/10 and the staff and service was top notch 👍 will definitely be back again! For those wondering wether they should try the salad you definitely should it was class and I don't even like salads that much

Best there is. Pizza so good that your mum probably wouldn’t get it.

Guy on the phone was extremely rude. There was an error with their booking system (which I assume they set up themselves), no fault of mine but I did apologise out of politeness, and the guy was still unnecessarily rude and obnoxious, telling me I shouldn't have gone through the system. Wish I'd read the similar reviews before me. I'd been before and the food was alright, but definitely won't be back.

Obsession of India is a popular Indian restaurant located in the heart of Merchant City, Glasgow. The restaurant prides itself on serving high-quality subcontinental cuisine without any quirky or fashionable twists. It is known for its multi-award winning chef who prepares bespoke dishes from scratch, offering a diverse menu including appetizers, tandoori, barbecue, and traditional Indian main dishes. Despite being a late-night curry spot, Obsession of India focuses on using healthy and nutritious ingredients to create their flavorful dishes.
I visited Obsession of India with my partner on a Saturday afternoon and we were both delighted with our experience. The starters were excellent - we both had the gola kebab. These were quite light but tasty and set us up nicely for the main course. The curries were very fresh and high quality! Madras had a lovely kick to it and the Karahi was brilliant aswell, naan was superb and it left us feeling very much satisfied. Staff were excellent and accommodating during our visit and we’ll definitely be back! One of the best curries I’ve had.
Aidan B — Google review
This is a nice restaurant to grab some good Indian food. The two curries we had were good and well seasoned. The meats (lamb) were nice and tender as well, which made the dishes all that more enjoyable. The garlic na'an was very delicious and was a nice compliment to the curry dishes. The service was good and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Overall, it was a very good price to quality ratio.

Excellent visit. Service was lovely, really attentive. Spot on. Food was excellent, tender, flavourful, good portions. Atmosphere was laid back, cosy, nice vibes. Excellent visit, 5/5. Highly recommend.

We’ve had Indian food in over 40 countries. This rates among the top 10. Chicken jalfrezi, Rogan Josh, and karahi. Excellent with just the right spice at ‘medium’. The decor and lighting are adorable. It’s the perfect ‘casual spot with some Indian atmosphere’. Service was super friendly and kind. House Sauvignon blanc paired very nicely with the curries. At a time when other Indian restaurants are doing ‘modern takes’ on Indian food it’s nice to have delicious traditional curries!

I read the reviews and had to try for myself. Absolutely flawless. The food was amazing. So flavourful, good portion sizes. The staff were super friendly, passionate about their restaurant and very efficient. Not been? Come try it. You won't be disappointed

Had a very nice meal, staff were great and all the food was lovely- asked how spicy we wanted the curries and topped up our sauces etc no extra charge

My family and I lived in India for many years and this is some of the most authentic Indian food I have had outside of India. We tried 4 different curries and each of them was uniquely delicious. The spice levels were perfect (although you can also choose to get lighter spice if you prefer). If you like spicy food I highly recommend trying the Madras curry. I also very highly recommend trying the Karahi curry. It is so unique and it was definitely my favorite we got. It had a slight charcoal under taste and it was scrumptious. The service was also impeccable. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. They really seek out best service and comfort for all their customers. Definitely recommend trying this place!! Thank you having us and making us feel so welcome:)

We were travelling in Scotland from Canada, and had this restaurant recommended to us by a local, and we decided to give it a shot. It was an amazing meal, probably the best Indian food we have had anywhere. The restaurant is small, and the decor simple, but the food and the service were beyond compare. The flavour was amazing, and the portions were just right. My only regret is that we are leaving lovely Glasgow and won't be able to repeat the experience. Do not hesitate if given the chance to enjoy this place.

Restaurant
Topolabamba is a vibrant Mexican bar and restaurant in Glasgow, offering an extensive menu of affordable Mexican street food and cocktails. The venue boasts a lively atmosphere with its bright decor featuring wood, stone, and colorful lamps. The menu includes classic chips and dips, as well as a variety of options such as tacos, quesadillas, tostadas, taquitos, burgers, burritos, chimichangas, and churros for dessert.
This is the most authentic Mexican I've had since being in the UK. I highly recommend you go there and try it for yourself. The tacos are amazing, as are the burritos. Good for sharing with a partner or friends; order a couple of different dishes and share them to see what you like.

First day in Glasgow and the first meal is here.. Dont get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the food, it just wasn’t very Mexican.. It lacked the proper spices but that is maybe to cater to the local tase.. The service was amazing and very accommodating. That much I liked. But the food wasn’t as good as the service was. The price wasn’t bad though. I would not recommend it as a place to have a proper Mexican place but I would rather say it is a safe option.

Amazing service and even better food, everything was REALLY delicious. We ordered the crispy fried fish, pork and Barbacoa tacos and grilled prawn tostadas, hard to pick a favorite. We arrived just before closing and the manger still sat us, we had Jonathan as our server and he was so patient and helpful, thank you for an amazing dinner and an even better service !

Always INCREDIBLE food. Been coming here for years and never been let down. Tried the cauli wings for the first time and my husband was obsessed with them, so crispy but nice and soft on the outside. My faves will always be the steak taco and queso - literally crave it so bad sometimes. Staff are always lovely and the atmosphere is always brilliant.

Everything was great. The service is very busy but they managed to get everything really fast. I recommend you to get the beef taquitos as they were amazing as well as some frozen margaritas. The only thing that didn't enjoy as much was the nachos and the sauces as some felt a bit too watery.

Steak house
Restaurant
Mini Grill Steakhouse in Glasgow is a charming family-run eatery tucked away on Bath Street. The restaurant offers traditional pub dishes with a Scottish twist, as well as a variety of meat, fish, and vegetarian options. Whether you're craving a steak lunch, juicy burger, or Sunday roast, Mini Grill has it all. The cozy setting makes it perfect for couples seeking a special night out.
Went on a Tuesday early evening to use a birthday voucher. We have been before and would happily go back again. The food was great, and service was almost there - just took a bit of time for drinks (the cocktail wasn't the best, and think it was a second attempt. Possibly why it took a wee while). The girls serving were great though. Really like the change to the lay out, makes the place that big bigger and brighter. Would and have recommended to others!
Gary C — Google review
I absolutely loved this restaurant. I had one of the best steaks of my life here (Sirloin from the Grill Menu). I had some of the best service I have ever experienced and their suggestions were spot on. My husband’s venison meal and the Haggis Trio were also amazing. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Glasgow.
Michael S — Google review
First time at Mini Grill and my first steak dinner in a long time. Had a £50 voucher to use, so decided to go for a proper treat. We ordered the Tomahawk steak, £88, which comes with salad, 2 sides and 2 sauces. We went for: 🥩 Tomahawk Steak: Asked for medium-rare, but it arrived much closer to well-done. We mentioned it, and they replaced the steak - though it did take a while. To be sure, we asked for the second one to be rare, and it came out much better (swipe for comparison). 🍟 Chicken & Thyme Chips – Insanely good, packed with flavour and so moreish. These were the highlight for me! 🥔 Roast Potatoes – Crispy on the outside but a little dense inside. They had a nice seasoning, but they didn’t quite hit the same level as the chips. 🍶 Sauces - Red wine jus & Peppercorn - both were fine but nothing standout. They added moisture but didn’t bring much depth to the dish. The staff handled the mistake well, replacing both the steak and sides, and took our wine off the bill, which I appreciated. But for the price and reputation, I expected a smoother experience. Even the new steak didn’t blow me away, was just fine. I wouldn’t rush back, which is a shame. I’ve heard such good things about this place and the staff did their best to solve our problems. Follow me on insta for more reviews: @Lewishere_lewisthere

Lovely food & attentive staff( we felt the stark back as it was a little under cooked. But they sorted it immediately) We only had the table for 2 hours and ,as some of the party was late, we had to leave before dessert. Will definitely be back
Roger B — Google review
I am reluctantly giving 4 stars instead of 5 - I am by no means some masterchef judge nor a cook. If I am being extremely picky and had to fault something - under the assumption I must fault something... - that would be the venison point that for my non-exquisite palate was somewhat overcooked. however - the scallops were divine. venison (above remarks) was superbly balanced with the beetroot crisps and jus.

Absolutely delicious - would recommend. The team were totally lovely and totally on the ball. So nice to have folks that can really guide you through the process and pay attention. Beautiful little restaurant, just perfect for a lovely steak. Probably the best steak I've had at a restaurant. Just at the top end of Bath street and had great on street parking. Will definitely be back.

We visited for date night and was the first time we have visited. We loved the food! My husband had the rib eye on the bone and i had the slow cooked beef and omg! Both so good. There was options for gluten free as well as parts of the menu they could make gluten free. The staff were so lovely, Trisha was our waitress and she was so full of energy, great chat and showed great enthusiasm for her work but also the male worker Tam/Tom and his tartan bunnet. We will back again. Would also recommend sitting downstairs as atmosphere was fun.

European restaurant
The Gannet is a stripped-back urban bar located in Glasgow's Finnieston area, known for its industrial rustic decor and compact European menu. The restaurant has gained popularity for its chef Modou Diagne's remarkable rise from being a penniless and homeless refugee to running his own restaurant. The Total Trust no-choice menu offered at a bargain price has impressed many diners, despite occasional disappointments with certain dishes.
Went here for an anniversary dinner with my partner. I think it's a great place for this type of special event. The prices are high, but it is to be expected for this kind of place and I think the quality of the food, the presentation, the atmosphere, and the staff all match up to the expectations of the price tag. We tried the set menu, which includes 2 starters to share, 5 main dishes and a dessert. We didn't go for the wine glass pairing, instead opting for just a bottle to split. The best way to describe the food is amazing, it was all delicious, it was all fresh and the presentations were impressive. The seasoning on the focaccia was a real pleasant surprise and it reminded me a lot of dry cured meat flavours. The starters overall were quite good, and all the mains were amazing. It's hard to pick a favourite, so I will refrain from it. I also really enjoyed the dessert. The staff were great throughout the night and the atmosphere and decoration are very nice. Great place, too bad it's closing at the end of 2025, but I'm hoping that what comes next is just as good at least.

The menu was highly seasonal and the tasting menu made those ingredients sing. Every dish was beautifully presented to the point where it was difficult to eat! The wait pairing was perfect and the knowledge shared on each course made the experience. Staff were lovely, to boot!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, just like the staff. The cuisine is both original and delicious, every dish surprised us with its creative combinations and the quality of the ingredients. Prices are fair and consistent with the high standard of the food. Highly recommended!

My photos will not do the dishes justice. Creative, innovative dishes locally sourced and seasonal. All the great quality and care that went into each course, we felt and tasted. It was an experience. Each bite told a story about the restaurant, and the intention behind the dishes. The pine infused Old Fashion was a nice surprise. Altogether my wife and I absolutely enjoyed our time and look for forward to our return. It was our first visit to the UK, Glasgow and Islays. A nice surprise was the cheese charcuterie compliments and added bonus dishes along the food journey this night. Great vibe and generosity is what we felt.

Yeah, really enjoyed ourselves here. Nice ambience, not too noisy, friendly and attentive staff. Everything I ate was exceptional, I've really got to up my game at home now. An unbelievable experience! The food was utterly sublime, with every bite being a taste sensation. We took the 6 course tasting menu, as was an afternoon sitting, we didn’t choose the wine pairings. The cocktails were amazing, from a new twist on an old fashioned to the pink fizz! The staff were great, they explained every course in detail and were very attentive throughout and we never felt rushed, even though we were there for over 3 hours. Brilliant food in a lovely setting, we can’t wait to return!

The Gannet showing yet again why it's the best. Impeccable food, unbeatable hospitality and beautiful and well thought-out surroundings. Everything from the snacks to the souffle and the soundtrack in between was faultless. Kevin's hospitality and knack of making everyone feel at ease and welcome is second to none, Amy's attention to detail and charm is amazing. Of course Peter and his team in the kitchen as always are plating up some of the best food in Scotland with the highest quality of produce whilst paying attention to the seasons and still offering affordability. For me it is Glasgow in a restaurant.

Additionally, the restaurant allows customers to bring their own alcohol.
We ate here on a visit to Glasgow on 26 March, seeking a good curry experience. And certainly weren’t disappointed. Wonderful food. I really enjoyed the sea bass curry which was delicious. Superb restaurant. Nice ambience, warm and friendly welcome. Lunch menu offers 2 courses for 12.95 - extra for a dessert. Not a huge range but enough to present a dilemma. The spicing of the food is subtle and intricate. Everything was perfectly cooked. The portions are generous. This has to be a contender for Glasgow's best Indian restaurant. We will be back.

Located in the heart of Glasgow city, right opposite to the St Enoch Centre, we used their parking which was very helpful. They offer a good spread of North Indian, South Indian, grill and seafood cuisine. The staff were friendly and service quick. The food was good quality, but we expected more of authentic Kerala cuisine. The seafood experts in our group specially mentioned that the seafood tasted fresh. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Although we only had a few things, everything was excellent. The lamb biryani was fluffy and very flavorful, samosas nicely seasoned, the staff friendly, and the prices reasonable. I can see why they have received so much recognition at Indian food events.

We had the chicken sixty-five and aloo tikka for starters and the chicken tikka masala and chicken chettinad for main. Everything was well presented, fresh and flavoursome. The chettinad is outstanding! Garlic and coriander naan also a tasty treat. Staff very friendly. We eat out a lot and this is one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve tried.

Delicious dosa – definitely a highlight and full of authentic flavor. The wrap/roll was unexpected—it turned out to be deep-fried, which wasn’t quite what we anticipated. The stuffing was tasty, but the overall dish felt more like a spring roll than an Indian wrap. The chicken wings were a bit disappointing. They lacked the signature Indian flavors and had a thick skin, which generally doesn’t appeal to the Indian palate. That said, overall it was a decent experience. Would recommend, especially for the dosas!

Have visited Madras Cafe Indian restaurant a couple of times now, decided on the early bird menu which is good value, although there are quite a few add ons not included. The curries I've tried have been nice. Staff are friendly and willing to change things to suit which is nice.

Madras Cafe Glasgow, nestled conveniently near St Enoch Shopping Centre and just a stone's throw from Buchanan Place, is a true culinary gem that brings the authentic flavours of South India to the heart of Glasgow. Its prime location, easily accessible from Central Station and close to the hustle and bustle of the city centre (and even a Tesco for any last-minute needs), makes it an ideal spot for both locals and visitors seeking a vibrant and delicious dining experience. I had the pleasure of visiting on August 1st, 2025, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. Walking in, you're immediately greeted by the enticing aromas of spices, setting the stage for the feast to come. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, though it's worth noting that its popularity means you might occasionally encounter a wait for a table – a testament to the quality of the food. Trust me, the wait is absolutely worth it for the taste sensation that awaits. The menu is extensive, but the star of the show for many, including myself, is undoubtedly the dosa. Crispy, perfectly golden, and served with a trio of chutneys and a fragrant sambar, it’s a delightful journey for the taste buds. Beyond this classic, the cheese chili naan is an absolute revelation – soft, chewy, and bursting with a perfect balance of cheesy richness and a gentle kick of chili. For those who enjoy non-vegetarian options, their offerings are equally impressive, featuring tender meats expertly spiced and cooked to perfection, showcasing the depth and variety of Indian cuisine. What truly enhances the experience is the fantastic value. Despite the high quality and generous portions, the prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Overall, Madras Cafe Glasgow offers an exceptional dining experience. It's a place where delicious food, a buzzing atmosphere, and great value combine to create a memorable meal every time. It's quickly become one of my go-to recommendations for anyone craving authentic and flavourful Indian cuisine in Glasgow.

A good atmosphere for having breakfast. The smell of the French toast is luring and gets my mouth watering. Good quality food. The waitress is helpful in suggesting food. There’s a second floor overlooking the restaurant below. Will surely come back and try the desserts when time permits. The French toast would be better when given a little more time for soaking in the egg. I would also like the toast under the egg Benedict less on the crunchy side. A thin layer of crispy bread and soft bread inside would be kinder to my teeth. Just found out, door handle and railing are on the sweet side, probably lots of customers like their desserts. Overall, a great breakfast experience.

We took advantage of the 2 course set menu before 6.45 offer after being recommended by a local. Small, dark busy restaurant with fantastic food and cocktails. Would love to visit again and dine off the normal menu which had some interesting options. Service was quick and efficient

Absolute top marks for having a gluten-free menu. My coeliac husband hadn't had a Chinese meal out since he got his diagnosis 13 years ago and was absolutely delighted with his dish and with the amount of choice. They also gave us the GF menu automatically (we mentioned it on the booking) and it was nice not having to go through the usual 20 questions. Unfortunately I was a bit underwhelmed with my dish. I'd ordered chicken with cloud fungus and red beancurd sauce, everything was cooked beautifully but I just found it a bit lacking in flavour. Maybe it's just horses for courses - I like really punchy flavours. When I'm not dining out with a coeliac, I'll be going back to China Blue - their flavours were amazing. Oh, and watch out for the booking system. It only seems to let you book for a party of two or four. I was trying for ages to book for three of us and it just wouldn't let us choose any dates.

La Vita Spuntini is a stylish and casual dining spot in Glasgow's West End, offering a wide menu of Italian classics, pizzas, and brasserie options. The restaurant embraces the concept of 'spuntini,' which is the Italian version of small plate dining where dishes are meant to be shared. Located on Gordon Street, it aims to recreate the cozy atmosphere of an Italian family meal. The menu features tapas-style dishes as well as main courses for a leisurely Tuscan dining experience.
I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! Every dish was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. A big thank you to the head chef and the entire kitchen staff for preparing such a wonderful meal. I can’t wait to come back!

Had a great birthday dinner for our little girl turning 5. Staff couldn’t be any friendlier. My little girl was given a teddy bear. Food was 10/10. This is my 2nd time coming here and left highly satisfied again! After we ate they sung happy birthday and gave her a birthday treat. Will definitely be back. Thanks for giving us the best time! Hopefully see yous soon!❤️

Delicious food and fast, friendly service. There was a lovely family atmosphere to the restaurant. We were able to be seated on a Friday early evening without a reservation. There is a tapas style dining experience or a traditional main meal experience to choose from.

Had a lovely evening dining here. A local bartender told us about this place as a recommendation so we decided to check it out and couldn’t have been happier. The food was incredible and our server Katie was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Highly recommend visiting this spot for some amazing pasta

My daughter and I visited this restaurant recently and were really impressed with the decor. We ordered the carbonara pasta, which was absolutely delicious. While the portion was on the smaller side compared to other places, I personally found it just right for myself as I can't manage alot of food. The pasta was slightly al dente, but I think that’s to be expected with a well-made dish. The only downside was that the drinks were a bit pricey. Other than that, we had a very nice experience.

We had a table booked for 7pm,and when we arrived our table was not ready.! We had to wait 10 mins till one was ready.!! We ordered our drinks and then our food. We could not fault the waitress. Our starters came within good time, but our main courses took about 25 mins to come out. Some were tapas dishes where one was a half of a chicken and what was on plate was more like a drumstick with hardly any chicken on it, there was also ravioli which was not piping hot. We also had muscles in the tapas and with this also being a tapas 4 of them were closed which you do not eat!! So this ment 4 was short of a small bowl. We are regular 's to this restaurant but felt last night we were let down. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Ref.no. B2AW67MH

Nestled in the vibrant Merchant City, The Dhabba is a culinary gem that brings the essence of North Indian roadside dining to life. With its lush greenery and inviting atmosphere, this restaurant offers an array of authentic dishes crafted from six distinct base sauces, each tailored for specific meats, seafood, or vegetables. The Dum Pukht style cooking ensures that every bite bursts with flavor—think aromatic biryanis, succulent kebabs, and rich curries.
The food is understated, beautiful, and absolutely delicious! Generous portions and fairly priced! We had three lamb dishes, a chicken biryani, two butter chickens, and several starters. There wasn't a single miss!! A must go for anyone! Sad there won't be one when we get back to Canada!

The Dhaba Glasgow – A Hidden Gem! This place is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were warm and welcoming. The food? Incredible. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, some homestyle Indian dishes, and the Daal – all bursting with authentic flavors. The starters were just as impressive. The Vada Pav was outstanding – honestly, better than what I’ve had in Mumbai. And the Dahi Vada? Simply wow. Light, flavorful, and refreshing. Every dish was a 10/10. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re in Glasgow and craving proper, delicious Indian food. The Dhaba is where it’s at!

Shoutout to Shahari – A True Gem at Dhaba! I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Dhabba during my trip to Scotland, and let me just say—this might’ve been the best food I had during my entire stay. But beyond the incredible flavors, it was the hospitality that left a lasting impression, thanks to one amazing person: Shahari. I was running late to catch my bus and showed up just as the restaurant was getting ready to close. I figured I might be turned away, but instead, Shahari welcomed me with a warm smile and said, “As long as you order quickly, we’ll take care of you.” And wow—did she ever. She gave me fantastic recommendations (you’ll see the dishes in the photo), and every single bite was beyond belief. Authentic, rich, perfectly spiced—it hit all the right notes. But what really made the moment special was how genuine and sweet Shahari was. She wasn’t just doing her job—she was making sure I felt welcome, seen, and cared for. And it wasn’t just me—she was juggling two other tables with the same kindness, energy, and professionalism. You could see how much she cares about people, and it truly reflects well on the restaurant. Whoever hired her made the best decision. She even packed my food carefully so I could make it to my bus on time—and I did, safely and happily full. Thank you, Shahari, for your heart, your service, and your warmth. You turned what could’ve been a stressful day into a memorable one. I’ll be recommending Dhabba to anyone visiting Glasgow—not only for the food but for the exceptional people like you who make it shine.

Went for afternoon tea with a voucher. Was very quiet because we went early, but the restaurant was lovely and we were warmly welcomed. The waitress was lovely and explained all the different foods to us. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed all the different flavours. The only thing we both commented on, was that we felt the portions could have been bigger considering how much we paid. That aside, we really enjoyed our experience.

Eusebi Deli is a renowned Italian eatery with two locations in Glasgow. The original east end deli has been serving carefully sourced Italian specialties for over 40 years, while the west end deli, opened in 2016, brings the same authentic flavors closer to the city center. Known for its fresh daily-made pasta and authentic Italian ingredients, Eusebi Deli has quickly become one of the top Mediterranean eateries in the city.
Delicious food and beautiful ambiance in the dining room downstairs. The servers were friendly and attentive. They catered for our group very well. The food was very slow to come out (upwards of 40 minutes for starters and 30 minutes between starters and mains), but the delicious food made up for it. The majority of the food was perfectly cooked. Particular highlights were the focaccia, scallops, veal cotoletta, and the raw fish crudo. The focaccia is among the best I have ever eaten anywhere in the world. The market fish on a bed of vegetables was disappointing and lacked any flavour. Overall, still a great restaurant with delicious food.

Apparently a Glasgow Institution for decades, I had never heard of this West End Deli /restaurant. Had dinner Saturday night with our friends and had a fantastic experience. All the Italian classics available, and more besides , but with a Scottish twist. Great wine list, great service and impeccable food. Possibly the best Italian meal I've ever had and that's a bold statement.

We have been to Eusebi Deli before but it was few years ago so we were really looking forward to visiting it again. On this occassion it was with our family to celebrate my wife and I ruby anniversary. Everything was perfect from as soon as we went through the door. We had a corner table which was ideal for our party. The food was delicious. The crab ravioli was probably the best I have tasted. The service was great too with our server going through the menu dish by dish explaining what each dish was. And, of course to compliment our delicious food with some very tasty wine, the Pecorino is highly recommended. We won't leave it so long until we visit again.

Just a note to thank Michael and his team for a wonderful collection of savoury canapés which they provided for a pre-theatre gathering recently. My guests were very impressed with the range and tastiness of the platters. Hand delivered on lovely bamboo trays too. Fantastic, thank you 👏🏼❤️

Where do I even start on this one- me and my husband are regulars and get coffee and cakes from Eusebi's on every occasion. It's almost like a ritual.it wouldn't be, if Eusebi's wasn't serving best coffee blend and pastries in Glasgow. This is not only place with vibrant history, but also great, authentic italian restaurant with brilliant service and above all- quality food, which makes you want to come back for more.

We visited to try a selection of the cakes on offer after hearing great things and they did not disappoint. Despite the size of each cake and the flavours on offer ,we ordered strawberry tarts, banoffee tarts and raspberry and coconut sponge cakes, they all managed to avoid being overwhelmingly sweet and were all beautifully light and airy which unfortunately for my waistline meant I was more than capable of eating eating every last crumb.

ORO is a vibrant dining room adorned with colourful artworks inspired by Italy. This eatery on Kilmarnock Road stands out for offering gluten-free options, including pizza and pasta—a rarity in most places. The house specialty is a thin and crispy gluten-free pizza, which can be topped with unconventional ingredients such as fresh grapes, walnuts, lactose-free mozzarella, and broccoli.
We’ve been visiting Oro for over 10 years now and it just her better and better! The food is perfect, the ambience is so beautiful and the service is impeccable. Lovely place, bright and modern, lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious but one dish, the ginormous chicken snitzel with parma and mozzarella was a bit too much, and too dry, needs a sauce. Wine list nice, desserts to die for

This place is lovely and the food was perfect, the staff were very friendly and always checked in with you. Absolutely phenomenal experience at Oro – without a doubt one of Glasgow’s true culinary gems. This is not just a pizzeria — it’s a story, a legacy, and a love letter to Italian craftsmanship. Run by Alfredo, a fourth-generation pizzaiolo with pizza in his blood, every bite carries the depth of tradition and the precision of mastery. You can truly feel his heritage in the dough — perfectly blistered, airy, and deeply satisfying. His partner Anna, equally warm and gracious, brings a touch of elegance and hospitality that turns the entire meal into something memorable. The ingredients are fresh, the combinations thoughtful, and the execution flawless. From the rich, wood-fired classics to more daring seasonal specials, everything is treated with care and respect. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates the art of pizza done right, where passion meets tradition — and flavor sings. Bravo, Alfredo & Anna. We’ll be back.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, we knew it was a beautiful place. The staff was very helpful and kind. The restaurant decor is wonderful. Our dishes were perfect – a big compliment to the chefs. We felt special because it's a special place.

Unfortunately, our visit was quite disappointing. I ordered the chicken risotto and asked for a tiramisu martini but was mistakenly given an espresso martini instead, which I really didn’t enjoy. The drink was corrected, but even the tiramisu martini was just as unpleasant. The food was incredibly salty across the entire table, so much so that I couldn’t finish my meal, and even my child struggled to eat theirs. We went through all the table water just trying to handle how overpowering it was. It felt like a real waste. Thankfully, the strawberry daiquiri was lovely, and my partner kindly shared his drink with me. Shockingly, no one checked in on us during the meal to see if everything was okay, and at no point were we asked if we had any allergies — which is a basic and important part of service, especially when dining with a child. Overall, we left feeling really underwhelmed and disappointed after looking forward to what should’ve been a nice evening out.

This pizza restaurant offers delicious Italian dishes like pasta and pizza with creative toppings. They have all-time favourites like marinara, Margherita, Regina, Cotto, parma and many others. If you're in the mood for something quick and easy they also have some great pasta dishes available.
We went to baffo for lunch with our 6 month old and it was one of the best meals I've had in Glasgow. The pizzas were light and tasty, the thin base is as traditional as you can get and will ensure you're not filling up on a lot of bread. It also means the sauce and toppings get to really shine. Our pizzas arrived in maybe less than 10 minutes, which is honestly mind blowing. The staff were kind and accommodating of us being there with our baby and even offered to move the pram for us so it wouldn't be in our way. Lovely restaurant, great pizza, great staff, couldn't have asked for more 🍕

Better than Paesano Pizza! Has a lovely ambience, affordable pizzas and pastas which are cheap and delicious. The crust is soft and thin, tomato sugo is fragrant and tangy.. it is the taste of homemade ingredients. Service is also fantastic and super friendly. Also conveniently located opposite kelvingrove museum. A 10/10 reccomendation, even if you don’t particularly love pizzas!

Good pizzas, doesn't quite 'dough' it for me... Better than average but just doesn't quite meat the standard of Paesano or the Shilling, I think it's the flour, it's just a tad behind Glasgow's big two pizza titans. Worth a visit if you're in the area though. Nice char to the crusts.

Covid level 0 restrictions. Hand sanitiser available on entry. Staff were all masked up and tables were well cleaned between diners. Tables were also well spaced but they accommodated our party of 6 with a small rearrangement. Overall a great wee Italian restaurant. Great tasting food and friendly staff. Loved the look of the pizza evenin the middle of the kitchen! Had lunch in this wee restaurant just across the road from Kelvingrove museum. Easily seated just after 2 and had a wonderful meal. Caters for veggie and lots of options. A lot of the menu is in Italian but you can ask, Google or guess what you don't know. Pizza pasta and antipasti. Meal was lovely and reasonable though the bottle of wine and large antipasti added a bit on the bill. Portions were a good size and the large pizza is large. Like width of the two seater table large. Nutella deep fried pizza was amazing. Definately worth a go. Ladies toilets are easy to find but gents you feel like you are heading into the kitchen. Follow the signs and turn right at the fire door! Great meal. Will try again.

Food was nice. It’s a Chinese place selling Japanese inspired food so it’s probably bigger portions and pieces. Pretty hearty actually. Place is clean and service is good. Not sure you really have to book even on a weekend. Prices are decent as well. Restaurant was cold, so we were pretty chilly.

Went for an early evening quick meal. All in all, happy and would go back. Pros: Price, both had sushi and a non alcoholic drink. Came to £25 which was a great price. Location was easy to get to and didn't have much of an issue getting parked. Staff we friendly enough. Quick service. Tasty sushi. Cons: Inside looks a bit tired. There were two tables near the back which are essentially next to one of the disabled toilets, just a three of four feet away. Price and speed worth the 4 out of 5 Good Rating in my opinion.

When I visited this place for the first time I thought I found a perfect sushi place as they were really delicious. So I started visiting this place once a week and last time when I was there which was around a month ago I was very upset with the food I got - the size of one piece of sushi was abnormal, too much of mayo, they simply didn’t hold their shape which you can see from the video, rice wasn’t cooked properly. The most annoying thing was the size as it was of a big apple size which you need to fit in your mouth, so they simply fall apart. I was very disappointed with all of that. Hope they will improve.

Great food! Soo filling and really good value for money! Got the char-sui ramen (sorry if I butchered the spelling) it had loads of fillings and the amount of meat is insane, their was at least 5 massive slices of char-sui so nice and chewy and broth was delicious! Service was great and that watermelon mocktail mojito is so good, tastes exactly like a watermelon! Chips were huge and great portion served with chicken and an addicting sauce! The chips alone could full someone up! The atmosphere was great, good music and all the staff were very kind!

Very impressed with Pickled Ginger! We went to a launch night & got a wee taste of some of their sushi options as well as some of the main dishes. I really loved the sushi options & I need to go back and try my fave sushi - dragon rolls. I think this would be a great way to compare against other Japanese restaurants. The mains were beautifully presented, and tasted great! I’d say the ramen and the pumpkin Katsu were my fave. The yum yum chicken is a huge hit from everyone but I think it’s just not to my liking.

Great place with a different take on your typical Indian restaurant. The street food concept works really well, but as ‘railway’ recipes. Love the samosa and the garlic lamb was awesome. Service is really swift and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The food came so quickly, which is sometimes not a good thing, but definitely not here. Be aware it is byob for alcohol. Again the staff are really helpful, getting you glasses, cork screws etc, plus they don’t charge you corkage!! They do charge a recycling fee, which is not unreasonable to be fair. I’ll definitely be back. Also on Deliveroo for a cheeky wee take out.

Absurd Bird is a charming American-themed diner located in Nelson Mandela Place, Glasgow. The restaurant offers a culturally diverse menu with popular items like shwarmas and doners that are halal-friendly. Customers can also enjoy delicious chocolate shakes to complement their meals. The decor of the restaurant is reminiscent of old Nashville, creating a cool and interesting ambiance for diners. The generous portions and tasty dishes, such as chicken and waffles or vegan fried chicken burger, make it a great spot for lunch.
First visit in this American restaurant and i had a good impression! The decor is reminiscent of old Nashville and everything is nice and clean. I got the vegan fried chicken burger, a buffalo chicken mac and a side of garlic fries. The portions were generous; the burgher was really nice while the second main (buffalo chicken mac) was quite spicy for my personal taste (I think they should write the spice level on the menu). The chocolate cake it’s simply tasty! It would be a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the difference was made by the server Colin who was really friendly, attentive and fast! 👏

We’ve visited here twice in a week, so that’s a good sign. Food is nice, obviously cooked fresh and the portion sizes are decent. The waffles are fluffy and light, perfectly done. The chicken is pretty decent and the mac cheese is super tasty (I tried the classic and the loaded - recommend both). There’s an extensive drinks menu, which is all reasonably priced. I like that they cater to non-drinkers too. Staff were friendly and attentive - no issues there. 4 stars because I saw a waitress drop a knife on the floor...and then put it back in the drawer - eek. Re-visit in Jan 2020: The food is still decent - have been a couple of times since my first review and the mac cheese is still pretty good. On a busy the Saturday night, the fries were soggy and underdone but the rest of our meals were good. The chicken tenders are always a good option. Service was relatively slow for a Saturday night but not so much so that it detracts from the overall experience. £164 for 5 of us to have a couple of options from the menu plus 2-3 cocktails/pints - not bad!

A cute American themed diner tucked away in Nelson Mandela Place, this place is a nice wee find for having lunch. The servers were polite and food was quick to be served. It wasn't too busy when we went and the decor was certainly cool and interesting! I had chicken and waffles which were easily the best tasting ones I've ever had: unfortunately they were luke warm hence the removal of a star. My husband had a tray of buffalo coated wings which he very nearly finished! Overall a nice wee place for a chilled out lunch.

Average to good food, atmosphere was like an American diner with loud music. We went for the chicken wing bucket with a choice of different flavours (bbq, Southern fried buttermilk, lemon and garlic etc). Impressive choice with burgers and other items on the menu, their bar / cocktail section appeared to be popular. Chicken wings were a tad under cooked, what do I mean by that well, the chicken didn't just melt as you cut/bit into it, a few blood clots and veins were still a little raw when cutting meat from near the bone. Would I go back, probably not I felt let down by the quality and slightly over priced, however staff were really friendly and accommodating, Sorry Absurd Burd.

Popped into this place for a spot of lunch whilst in the city. We were greeted by a very friendly guy who welcomed us in and talked us through the menu and what was available. The food was great and they had a huge selection of sources to choose from to go with your food. We had the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and onion rings. They offer vegan foods here also

Quirky place with cool crazy decor. Like 90% on the menu is chicken. The first time i went I had a waffle slider with chicken, blue cheese and bacon, I really liked it but it doesn't seem to be on the menu anymore. On my 2nd visit I had a pizzaiolo mac and cheese, the toppings were very tasty. Sweet potato fries and onion rings are super delicious!

Cool, dark and funky place in the centre of Glasgow serving fried chicken and cocktails. Lots of neon lights give the place a nice vibe. Went for the fried Buffalo burger which had plenty of hot sauce on and the loaded fries. The fries came with guacamole, jalapeños and pieces of grilled chicken. The food was a little bland.
Cdpromo — Google review
The staff was nice and helpful. The food was tasty. If you like classic American with a twist, this is a great place to go! It's a little odd and crazy, but in all the good ways. The decor is very cool as well, and it really adds to the atmosphere and cosiness of the dining experience.

Nestled in the heart of Glasgow's West End, the University Cafe is a beloved establishment that has been delighting locals and students alike since 1918. This family-run gem offers an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of yesteryear, complete with dark wood accents and ornate paneling. It's the perfect spot to indulge in hearty Scottish fry-ups or savor their famous deep-fried Mars bar after a night out.
Visited with my husband after our local friend highly recommended this place to us. Tried the English breakfast and ice cream, both delicious and the internal deco is traditional. Would return for the food for sure.

Had to try this place because I am a huge Bourdain fan, and I loved it. I was a little sad they were out of fish, but I really enjoyed the shrimp. The haggis was the star, though, and I was shocked by how much I loved it.

Not changed a bit! I remember visiting here often when I was younger. Very nostalgic, and the food was great - especially the cheesecake and ice cream on a warm sunny day in the west end! Will return again!

Burrito restaurant
Restaurant
The Mexican restaurant Taco Mazama offers delicious tacos and burritos with a snug seating area. The food is fresh and good value for money, with particular praise going to the chicken quesadillas. Special mention goes to the huge range of dips and chips available as well as the speedy service.
I've eaten at all three (now two, RIP) taco mazama locations in the city, and they are consistently wonderful. I love that the king size burrito is made with TWO giant tortillas I love the combination of rice, beans, salsa and meat. its hard to get this combination at taco bell, and you'd pay more for less I love how delicious everything is. If i'm passing by any of their branches, i always stop in, taco mazama is my bestie I have a few suggestions though: 1. There's a fruity kind of salsa which is only at one of their locations and not at the others, this seems odd, why not have a consistent menu at all of them? 2. Stronger chillies! I'd love to be able to have green finger chillies added instead of jalapenos 3. A hotter salsa. I love the tomato and chipotle, i'd love it more with like a bit more chilli powder in it I could definitely go for a higher spice level, but still taco mazama is wonderful, reasonably priced, and great quality, can't fault it
Nanako G — Google review
Good quality tacos for a place so far from the Mexican boarder. However, Im not going to remember it as one of the best Mexican feeds I’ve ever had, left still a bit hungry, the atmosphere was a little lacking, and the staff, although friendly enough, seemed a little bit sick of their shift.
Joshua — Google review
very cozy mexican café. so, i ordered a king size burrito without noticing their board for burrito challenge winners 😂 their portion is MASSIVE. so for one person regular or even small size is okay 👍 and they have separate discounted burrito options for students as well ✨ just opposite to Pret (Byers Road). and I loved their Mexican lemonade so I will highly recommend that with your burrito ✅ overall.. I liked it🌯

Avoid it while buying online. We buy Buy 1 Get 1 Free items, and when we buy two items we only received one item. They are cheating and the worst is, that they don't want to admit that they sending only one item instead of two.

It was alright, the burrito I had was very tasty but I feel the portion size was slightly underwhelming.

Just received the wettest, soggiest burrito with half the ingredients missing on Uber Eats, literally went in the bin, inedible. Embarrassing tbh.
Nicole R — Google review
Popped in here to try the soft tacos and burrito. Tacos were delicious. Small matter of improvement for the chain as a whole would be to offer soft corn tortillas and not just wheat, but this review isn't taking that as part of tbr experience. Food was good and service was quick. Salsa tasted like it was chopped tomatoes poured out of a tin, but everything else including the guac, meat and rice tasted good and fresh.

Good food, great quantity for the price. Chicken quesadillas were really good although the presentation was mediocre. Special mention to the chips and dips side. It was enormous!

Chow is an online eatery that offers a convenient ordering system for a variety of Chinese cuisine, featuring pre-set menus. The service provided is welcoming and the portions served are generous. Highly recommended is their flavorful dish, enriched with a delectable sesame sauce and brimming with an assortment of vegetables and meats.
It was a rainy day in Glasgow and I wanted something hot and soup. Way and behold, I found Chow restaurant. I ordered Hot and Spicy soup which costs me only £4. Went home and had it with rice. It just tasted amazing and filled my stomach. The next day, I ordered fried Spring Rolls to take away. Costed me only £3.50 for 12 pieces. It is vegetarian and tasted sumptuous for an evening snack. Do give it a try if you’re around that area. 😋

This place might actually have the best food I have ever had. Highly recommend 👍
Jess — Google review
Friendly service, big portions! Definitely recommend the 麻辣拌, which is packed with flavour, the sesame sauce is the highlight, you can get so many different types of veggies and meat in one dish, we all loved it so much! The fish in sauerkraut broth was great, sour and spicy as it should be. The sweet and sour pork was a bit too hard to eat and a bit too sweet for our liking. The fish spiced aubergine turned out to be sweet and sour style as well which was not what we expected. The dry hot pots are alright but not as good as some other places. Overall, a great selection, plenty seating and welcoming service.

Very dissappointed, I used to love the food in there, until few days ago, I have ordered a take away dish which wasn't good at all, the beef was half way off, you could even smell it, had to throw it away, I had a small bite and that was it, definitely had to go in the bin. Italian restaurant
Nestled along the bustling Dumbarton Road in Partick, Basta Pizza Bar is a charming and unpretentious eatery that invites pizza lovers to indulge in its remarkable offerings. While it may not boast the flashiest decor, what truly sets Basta apart is its creative and delicious pizzas. The crusts strike a perfect balance between thinness and chewiness, providing an ideal canvas for an array of unique toppings.
My son and I visited this evening. The pizza was amazing and staff were lovely. Thank you 😊
Rachael S — Google review
I had a great experience at Basta, the restaurant itself is easy to find at the bottom of Dumbarton Road and has a lovely interior, full of character which makes it a great place to eat. The pizza was well cooked, with a good sugo and had generous toppings. We went for option 2 (tomatoes, artichoke, pesto and peppers) and option 5 (olives and capers sans chovies). To drink we went for two bottles of estrella. I felt the food was reasonably priced with good, quick service. My only thought was the atmosphere was slightly lacking as we were only customers in, but this isn’t the fault of the restaurant. The Neapolitan pizza market in glasgow is very competitive due to the popularity of Paesano, but I’d urge anyone to give Basta a shot as it’s up there quality and flavour wise. I always like to support local businesses and will definitely be back!
Aili S — Google review
This is our new regular pizza place. We’ve been a few times to sit in and each time the pizza has been 10/10. The service is unmatched. super friendly staff in general. It’s great value for money. It’s BOYB just now which is another benefit. If you like Neapolitan style pizza, great starters, and a lovely, chill ambiance, this is your place. we will be back time and time again.

Best pizza in Glasgow and well up there with pizzas I've had in Italy. Never feel bloated or lethargic after eating a Basta pizza as it's all so fresh. Really cool interior. Could not recommend more. Bring family and friends visiting from England here, we love it so much.
Maisie B — Google review
Really friendly alternative to bigger pizza chains in Glasgow with more of a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. Pizzas were great and plenty of good sides + drinks on offer. Great option for a casual dinner, date night or small group gathering.
Paul P — Google review
After several attempts of trying to eat here, finally managed to get in. On my last visit the place had actually sold out by 8pm, a good sign! I’d go as far to say Glasgow is pretty saturated with Pizza joints these days, so my next comment may be questioned, this is possibly the best pizza I’ve had in Glasgow, yes, you read correctly! So tasty, and the crust was perfection! I went for the number 07; Tomato, Spicy Salami, Roquito Chillies, Mozzarella, and Chilli Oil (Beware!! This isn’t for the faint hearted!) Nice chilled vibe, will be back!
C Q — Google review
Great pizzas. I built my own one and the crust is very good. I would suggest having other options for salami though, not just spicy.

This family-run restaurant specializes in classic Lebanese and Syrian dishes, and is highly recommended by Times Takeaway. It has a relaxed atmosphere with excellent food, at reasonable prices. The deco inside is welcoming and the portions are large. This is the best overall Lebanese and Syrian restaurant in Glasgow.
From the moment we walked in, the experience at Damasqino was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to our every need, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The food? Absolutely delicious. I’ve had my fair share of Turkish and Middle Eastern grilled dishes over the years, but it was immediately clear that Damasqino stands out in terms of quality.

Literally one of my favorite meals ever, let alone of a month in Scotland. World-beating hummus, fantastic sambousek, the “Spicy Salad” one of the best salads I’ve ever tasted. Fantastic mixed grill (the chicken wings and lamb chop particular standouts but everything good), big portions, all terrific. Finished with a knafeh that was delicate and absolutely delicious. Incredibly friendly, super-casual service. Expect to have to flag somebody down, and pay at the counter. A true highlight and absolutely a must-try in Glasgow.

A great spot for delicious Middle Eastern food in Glasgow! The flavors were authentic and everything we tried was freshly made and full of taste. The service was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re craving something flavorful and comforting. I’ll be coming back!

I tried the restaurant through delivery and it was a really delicious experience! I ordered the broasted chicken — it was crispy and full of flavor. The idea of the small sandwiches is fun and enjoyable. The packaging was neat and the food arrived in great condition. I definitely recommend it for those who enjoy light and tasty bites.

I wanted to try this place for ages. When I passed it was always busy and the food smelled incredible! The two of us went in got shown to a table without booking. The service was brilliant and the menu choice was great too. The atmosphere was ideal, it was well decorated and little touches like a wallet for cutlary were apparent, I really like it. The prices are extremely reasonable and half the price of similar restaurants in the vicinity, especially for the mixed grill for 2. Food was so tasty amd I can't wait to return

A Cracking Night at Damasqino My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Damasqino recently, and I must say—it was a belter of an evening. The place was buzzing, clearly a favourite among locals, and while the table next to us was a touch loud, the overall atmosphere remained welcoming and warm. We were graciously welcomed with a complimentary lentil soup—rich, hearty, and true to the Lebanese region’s generous spirit. A lovely cultural touch that set the tone beautifully. For mains, we followed the staff’s recommendation and shared the Damasqino Shawarma Plate with rice and side of bread and Chicken Kafta with chips and bread -great portions sizes. Both were superb—the shawarma was tender and flavourful, and the kafta was grilled just right, juicy and packed with spice. To top it off, the mint mocktail—another spot-on suggestion from the manager—was refreshing and perfectly balanced. Despite the bit of background noise, the service, food, and hospitality made for a memorable evening. We’ll be back soon, and next time we might just bring a few pals along.

I had a craving for some Arabic food and after some searching, I stumbled upon your restaurant which had garnered many positive reviews. I decided to give it a try, and I wanted to provide you with some feedback based on my experience. In general, my experience was just okay. I found that the rice was over flavored, and the kofta kebab was rather tasteless. Furthermore, the chicken kebab seemed undercooked as it had a pink color in some parts, which really put me off continuing my meal. The fact that the food was delivered in a plastic carry bag that did not look very professional was also a bit disappointing. However, I do appreciate the effort put into ensuring the food was well-packaged and secure. Overall, it was an experience, but I don't think I will be returning for another one. I just wanted to provide this feedback in the hopes that it may be helpful for the improvement of your services.

Okome is a delightful eatery in Glasgow that offers delectable Japanese cuisine. Their menu features unique dishes like the Spinach bun, which puts a twist on the traditional pork bun. The tofu curry rice is packed with rich and flavorful notes, and the prawn Gyoza is equally appetizing. While the food is exceptional and savory, some customers feel that the restaurant's size could be larger, and additional decorations would enhance its ambiance.
Delicious! We were in search of some good sushi in Glasgow west end - sushi we got here was lovely, ingredients were incredibly fresh especially the salmon and generous portions - filling inside the rolls was really generous, and miso soup I had was great too. Atmosphere was of a nice street-foody vibe, and soy sauce, wasabi etc on the tables for use. Food arrived very quickly and the staff were very smiley and friendly. Will be back to try the hell ramen next time.

Okome is a nice place to check out for some delicious Japanese food in Glasgow. We tried Spinach bun, tofu curry rice , Prawn Gyoza and passion fruit ice tea. Spinach bun was a unique take on the traditional pork bun. The tofu curry was rich and flavourful. And even the prawn Gyoza was yummy
Uthira L — Google review
I ordered a pork katsu curry bowl, the food was prepared and delivered very quickly, however, the quality has to improve by a lot. I have tried katsu curry at many places around Glasgow and abroad and this one was very disappointing compared to other experiences. The vegetables were cut into massive chunks (see the pictures), potatoes were undercooked and cold (and possibly not cooked today, did not taste fresh). The curry sauce was extremely thick, I struggled to get it out of the container it was delivered in, and then I could not mix it with the rice. The sauce should not be this thick. You can see in the photos how thick it was. The pork quality was not the best, either.

Probably the most authentic ramen in Glasgow. Sushi was good and so was takoyaki, but the ramen was genuinely top notch. I've tried other places with ratings around 4.8+ and it was so white washed food. This place deserves much higher rating for their food authenticity and flavourfulness.

First time on Uber eats & because they do GF dishes we went for it. The soup TomYam was tasty but too watery, the spring rolls were nice and crispy with a good filling, our mains were ok. Hong Kong S&S was overly sweet & needed more kick, the chicken curry sauce was again watery. The fried rice was the first Chinese fried rice I’ve ever had with no egg or spring onion? For the price point,it should have been better.
Sandra T — Google review
Just ordered food via Uber eats, delivery service is good, but the taste just barely meet my expectations. The steamed prawn is the worst I’ve ever had in Glasgow, the worst texture ever but sold in £7’19. As for the chicken fried rice too salty but ok. The only good item was the chicken wings. When the price level is fixed you definitely have so much better choice instead of this one, with more authentic and cost effective choices.

Absolutely Rubbish food, and rubbish service. I have had heard a lot about the taste of this place, but found it to be way below my expectations. The meat was half cooked. The rice was not properly done. The chips were very oily. I visit middle eastern eateries quite often and so far, I found Dunya to be the worst them all. Only the bread was fine. The service was not good. We gave the order, and I really had to ask 2-3 times for my order. The girl didn’t even take down our orders on a paper. Hard to understand how she remembered all the details. A Lot of room for improvement.

Upon receiving the batterd and sticky menu, the server took our order without a notepad , starter came quick and was nice but when the rest of the food came, we were missing a item and when we asked about it we were told yes " it's comming in 2 min " 1 hour later when the rest of our group were finished mine arrived. To see other tables receiving the same dish I orderd 30 min before got me mad , be all food was great but maby train your servers on the basics of noting a tables order so it's not missed. No discount on our bill for the absurd wait on a wrap ? Will not be back. shame the food was lovely

Amazing vegan burgers and fries but they are for anyone that appreciates a good burger. 5 stars.

Burger and donuts were fabulous in here. I think its reasonably priced for quality and location. I will say what others have said, which is that the use of disposable containers is disappointing for a vegan establishment, but it's the only let down here as the service matched the quality of the food. Will definitely be back and would certainly recommend it to anyone on the fence. Other customers who left before I did sounded very happy with their experience too and everyone was made to feel special whilst being served, which is something that makes them stand apart from similar vegan joints I think. Hope they will expand their sweet selection in the future also as they hit it out the park with the donuts today.

Best burger you can ever have 🍔😊. Even if you are not vegan you will love it and enjoy it. Just close your eyes and point out randomly to anything in the menu, I am sure you will be pleased. You will literally get a food orgasm in this place. Whether you are trying the burgers menu or lunch menu both outstanding. It is a must try place whether you live in Glasgow or visiting. I go to this place almost every week. I feel I got addict to it. Staff are super nice and friendly.. Highly recommended 😊😊👍👍👌

The best burger I have ever had, genuinely. Such a great vibe at the place too, the staff are really lovely and were so warm and welcoming, especially taking the time to chat to my wee girl. Danny and his team and amazing guys and they are doing their part to make a difference in this world. Love it!

This is genuinely the best burgers (!) I have ever eaten in my life! Whether you are vegan or not, craving for fast food that makes you feel good with no heartburn and heavy stomach, this is a place to eat. Moreover, it seriously should be "a must to eat place in Glasgow" ! The guys are creating a phenomenal atmosphere, great music and such a kind hospitality. I highly recommend this place, you will so enjoy the food!!!

Would highly recommend this place whether you are vegan or non-vegan. From the mac n cheese chips, to the burgers to the donuts, it was quality. The guys that run the place lift your mood with their positive energy and tunes. You won't have the same experience in any other Glasgow eatery!

Civerinos, a renowned pizza establishment from Edinburgh, is set to open its first location outside of the city in Finnieston, Glasgow. The brand currently operates four sites in Edinburgh, including slice bars and a restaurant. Known for its massive 20-inch pizzas with thin crusts and delicious toppings like pepperoni and fries, Civerinos offers excellent service and a vibrant atmosphere. Customers praise the hot and flavorsome food as well as the dog-friendly environment.
We stopped into Civerinos for food on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted immediately by very friendly staff. The food was amazing, both the pizza and sides were delicious and were generous portion sizes. But the highlight of our visit was our amazing waiter Kerr, who from start to finish welcomed us and laughed along with us as well as doing an amazing job of walking us through the menu and giving recommendations. I don’t usually write reviews but felt it necessary on this occasion as an amazing impression was left by Kerr and they deserve their props! Will definitely be stopping in again on our next visit from Ireland.

Went in for a quick bite, so jumped straight into a wee slice. The menu for single slices isn’t as extensive as I’d hoped it would be, but still plenty of choices such as the Detroit square slices that are pictured. I got the nduja with pesto which was flavourful and interesting (as well as drowning in cheese) and the other pictured is the pepperoni with hot honey. Both were solid slices and tasted even better with the ranch dip. The chips were incredibly crispy and very well seasoned (even tasted good this morning, cold!). The decor is very fun and relaxed, and since we were a wee bit later there was no queue and got seated easily. My only qualm was that the pizza took quite a while to reach us, where I thought the slices would just be flying out! Regardless sipping away at a nice coke and smelling the pizza fumes kept me entertained enough until the crispy slices arrived. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive so cannot fault the place at all! Thanks so much for a delicious meal, cheers :)

Seriously delicious pizza – my favorite in the UK! I was so excited when I heard they opened a branch in Glasgow and had to check it out. Today I tried the Pepperoni pizza, Rosemary Roasted Potatoes pizza, and the DETROIT slice – from classic toppings to more unique ones, every slice was absolutely delicious. The portions are huge, and the prices are super reasonable too! I’m a huge fan of Civerinos. Since I live in Edinburgh, I’ve been to all their locations – Royal Mile, by the Meadows, and even the Portobello Beach branch – more than five times each. I especially love the Meadows location and go there at least once a week. But now… I might love the Glasgow one even more! The staff are super friendly, and of course, the pizza is just as amazing.

Seriously, if you're into American-style pizza, you have to check this place out. They have a great selection, not too many options, just the good stuff. I've only tried their regular pizzas and the massive slices (you have to see them to believe it!), but they're easily some of the best non-traditional pizzas around. The whole vibe feels inspired by classic pizza subculture, and the taste lives up to it. Highly recommend! ( the mixed self service thing is one of the things left to be desired but they make up to it with quality vibes and mood )

Brilliant meal here. Detroit style pizza slice was a particular favourite! Tried new haven style and parmesan crust. Great spot for casual dining but also group dining. Very social vibe and great outdoor seating. We were served by the delightful Megan and Jada! They took out doughnuts for our daughter on her birthday! Thanks again!

Great pizzas in a vibrant restaurant. Pizzas are available whole (in various sizes) or by the slice. There were many flavors to choose from. Atmosphere of sit in was god and there are also tables outdoors for when the weather is good. Would definitely recommend to pizza lovers.

First time trying Civerinos. Was a hit for the whole family. Tried the classic New York style and thicker detroit. Both delightful but the new York was definitely the favourite. Sides went down well too. Will definitely be back to try the new haven style.

Are we joking? I used to like this place a couple of years ago but the food has gone so downhill. I used to like the aubergine pizza but they took it off the menu. This pizza was just burnt, every bite. The Detroit style pizzas are a miss too. Service was nice but unfortunately the food has not been good.

El Perro Negro Woodlands is a culinary gem in Glasgow, renowned for its mouthwatering burgers and diverse menu options. This popular eatery began as a pop-up venture by burger aficionado Nick Watkins, quickly gaining traction and leading to the establishment of permanent locations. The Top Dog burger stands out with its rich combination of beef patty, bone marrow, Roquefort butter, double bacon, caramelized onions, and black truffle mayo—all nestled in a toasted milk bun.
Popped in here as I was craving a good burger and I am so glad we did! The burgers were seasoned and cooked to perfection and so juicy. The top dog burger was a combination of flavours i’ve never had before and would have this over and over again, and the classic bacon and cheese was everything you want from a banging burger. Fries were amazing, togarashi was the perfect level of flavour and spice. The confit wings were so unique, again like nothing ive ever had before and ive ate a lot of wings. So crispy like a perfect goose fat roast potato on the outside and the meat fell off the bone on the inside. Banging. Service was 10/10 thanks to Graham. Perfect combo of attentive and friendly which really elevates a good meal. Will definitely be back, especially with the 20% off Mon-Wed! Thank you 🙌🏼

Popped in tonight for takeout, collected the food it was hot and fresh. As always the burgers are great from here. We opted for a Korean fried chicken burger and the top dog with a side of fries. The quality of the food is worth the price point also. I was hesitant to go here after reading other reviews that stated the food was tasteless but I can confirm total rubbish. It’s on par with the one in Edinburgh.
Jamie H — Google review
This is the kind of burger that will have you licking your lips for an hour after you've eaten in. I've can remember when I first found out about El Perro Negro when they were still doing pop-ups in glasgow back in the mid 2010s. The first time I tried a Top Dog had me hooked. It was the best burger that I had ever had and has only ever been matched by subsequent visits to El Perro Negro. Although the patties have moved more towards smash burger as time has gone on, it hasn't impacted the experience. Chips with the gochujang mayo are top notch. Buffalo wings are also excellent. Cocktails are good value.

Very nice!! We went for lunch and the waitress did a very good recommendation with the burgers. We will come back soon.
Inmaculada G — Google review
Great quality food, the burgers are creative and have a nice variety. The wings are great and are one of the better Buffalo sauces I've had in Glasgow. Fries are good quality as well, although overpriced. I eat here when I crave a burger, and that's not changing anytime soon.
Chris G — Google review
Amazing burgers in the west end! Top dog burger is really tasty, the patty is cooked to medium well ish, it has really nice caramelised onions with truffle mayo. It is just so tasty. I enjoyed the burger bun as well, it has lots of sesame, which is great. The only downside is that maybe cuz we are all quite hungry, the large size doesn’t feel that big. 9.5/10 Black dog burger is very delicious, the black pudding addition is really nice, it bring a bit of saltiness to the burger. 9/10 Southern fried chicken burger is really nice, big portion. Buffalo burger is nice as well, has lots of slaws, a bit messier to eat. The buffalo and blue cheese fries, it didn’t have very strong blue cheese flavour not it had a lot of blue cheese on top, it’s mostly the buffalo flavour. 7/10 The togarashi fries are good, the spiciness has a kick to it so avoid this if you can’t handle spicy food. Overall the fries are really good, generous portion and really crispy. They have an open kitchen, clean minimal decor, nice service. The burgers are a bit pricier compared to other places given that they don’t come with fries, but the flavours are amazing and it’s definitively one of the best burgers I’ve had. They don’t have a lot of seats, highly recommend this place for good burgers!
Cindy H — Google review
Want to pre-face this review that the girls at the counter were absolutely lovely. Absolutely nothing wrong with the service or the atmosphere. However, the food we got was probably the worst burger i’ve ever had. Me and my girlfriend ordered the korean chicken burger, top dog burger, togarashi fries, gochujang chicken wings. The top dog burger was wayy too rich for my tastes, tbf it’s my fault for ordering this since it was probably the black truffle mayo that caused the burger to have this heavy smell and taste to it. Korean burger + wings: The gochujang sauce was the worst thing, it was the saltiest sauce i’ve ever tasted. Literally tasted like salt water from the sea, both of us couldn’t finish it cause we were dying of thirst. Would suggest going to a Korean restaurant and trying their Gochujang sauce. The wings were overcooked and dry + batter was too much on both chicken burger and wings Togarashi fries: The amount of seasoning put on was way too much, we chocked on the spices. Afterwards we went to Chillies West End next door to get Mango Lassi to get the salt out of our mouths. And fun fact when we went home, we both had the worst farts we’be ever had. Couldn’t sleep cause of the death farts. I’m 99% sure it was the Gochujang sauce and that it was off.

One of the best places in the city for burgers. Great service and a really cool vibe. We would recommend the classic cheese burger, taragoshi chips and Korean wings. Definitely try the truffle mayo it is fantastic for dipping chips into. Will definitely be back

Good Times Roll is a cafe in the heart of Ibrox, serving up homemade rolls, bacon and tattie scones as well as vegan options. The cafe is open 9am-4pm, and serves up quality breakfast food that is sure to please.
I stumbled across Good Times Roll while browsing on Uber East. I don’t usually review takeaways, however, the difference between something which you get delivered and what you make yourself is, if after eating a takeaway and you think “I could have made better myself”, then it wasn’t worth it. Good Times Roll is the contrary to this! I ordered a breakfast and a tea, I have to say this is probably one of the best breakfast (if not the best) I’ve ever had, everything was seasoned so well, the sausages were so tasty. This isn’t somewhere I would ever have stumbled across given its location but I’ll be keeping it on my list for future. Oh, I’m also a sucker in this digital, streamlined, age for a personalised, hand written note of any sort!

Love this place really good rolls. House scones are delicious and they have amazing vegan options. The only reason is down rated service other than being a bit app over the place. Just watched the woman that serves pet a dog then go back to serving then grab and empty a bag of crispy rolls. Then putting sauces and boxing and bagging rolls.

I’ve been to this café three times now, and sadly, each visit has been marred by mistakes. It’s really unfortunate because the food here is absolutely amazing – it’s outstanding, but the service leaves much to be desired. The first time I visited, there was an issue with our food order; they got it completely wrong. On my second visit, I asked for a coffee with oat milk but was given full-fat milk instead. And then today, once again, there were problems with our order. We ordered three rolls – one of them was mistakenly given away to a delivery driver, so we ended up waiting around 25 minutes just for that roll to arrive. As for the other two rolls, one had a mistake on it, even though we saw the server write down the order correctly. It’s such a shame because the food really is top-notch. We decided to give it one last shot today, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, we were let down again. What’s more concerning is that while we were waiting, I overheard the staff apologizing to another customer, offering them a coffee on the house because of a mistake. Hearing that made me think, “This really isn’t a good sign.” In the end, two out of the three rolls we ordered were wrong today. It’s really disappointing because the food has so much potential, but the repeated mistakes in service have made it hard to justify coming back.

Food came out really quick and was well presented. Great portion sizes for the 2 course menu and tasted amazing. Will be going back again soon. 😎😎😎

I tried the chicken breast curry, portion is pretty generous, the taste is okay, it had a lot of onions in it, the chicken is a bit dry. The curry tastes like your local Chinese takeaways curry, I was expecting this to be better. I also tried the salt and chilli wings. The batter is really nice, airy and crunchy, the seasoning is good, the wings were dry as well. The menu has some variety but I do wish they do more salt and chilli dishes as a side as well instead of just main portion. Friendly services, I like the decorations as well, chill vibes. And it’s the sister restaurant to lychee oriental in town.

Great food, great service, chilled atmosphere. For a first date, it was great choice. 😁 Been again twice to Lychee Oriental since then and had a few take aways. I've tried diffrent options on the menu instead of going for my usual choice, and all have been great. Cocktails were been interesting to try but can't have often since I'm normally the driver when with friends, but I do recommend. Basically, nothing bad can be said, and if haven't tried, then definitely should give a go.

Second time ordering and both times it’s been sensational. Food always arrived quickly and was roasting hot. The salt and chilli box comes with a good amount of chicken and loads of chips. Got the sriracha mayo and that goes perfectly with the chips and chicken. Tried the Katsu curry with jasmine rice tonight and was really impressed. The curry sauce tub has little chunks of carrot and other veg through it which makes it taste even better, the katsu chicken was lovely and crispy and there was loads of jasmine rice. Overall a really good portion size, tastes amazing, a little bit on the expensive side but if you can get an offer on apps like Uber etc then it’s 100% worth ordering.

As a regular visitor to Lychee in the city centre, I was quite disappointed with my meal yesterday at the Shawlands location. While the service was great, the food fell well below expectations. The chicken curry lacked sauce, and although there was plenty of chicken, it was so overcooked that I ended up leaving half my meal. Consistency between branches should be maintained, especially when the city centre restaurant sets such a high standard. Sadly, I won’t be returning and would not recommend anyone to visit.
Alistair M — Google review
I had a booking for 10 people and 2 kids: The food was a bit salty but fine overall and servers were friendly but I left the establishment and was waiting on the street for my lift to arrive only to be called back 5 minutes later to say they haven’t charged me properly. I then waited until he recalculated the bill which came to £24.95 more. I had already paid £200 so he said I need to pay £4.95 more. I did it but found the whole ordeal really tacky and didn’t even bother checking what he had charged me for or if my deposit had been taken into account. I just think if a customer pays and leaves the building then you shouldn’t call them back from the street because you made a mistake. So advice to anyone going, if it’s a large group - just make sure you check your bill carefully before paying.

I got the spicy chicken quesadilla and the spicy beef enchilada. I was sceptical of Mexican food on this side of the pond, but everything was SO good. The enchilada had the sauce on the inside instead of being baked with the sauce over top, so it was more like a baked burrito, but still very tasty! Was enough food for 2 to 3 meals.

I had such a lovely experience at Chopstix Glasgow thanks to Penny She was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful when I couldn’t decide what to order. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and did it all with such a friendly smile. It’s rare to meet someone who makes your day better just by being nice, but Penny definitely did that. Thank you for the great service – I’ll definitely be coming back
Charlie F — Google review
I’ve visited Chopstix at several locations, but unfortunately, this branch was quite disappointing in terms of both food quality and hygiene. The staff member on duty informed us that our order would be ready in 15 minutes. However, by the time we received our food, most of the toppings (except the chow mein) had already been served to customers who arrived after us. We were a group of ten, so perhaps there was some mix-up, but it was still quite disappointing. Although we were offered four toppings, only two were available at the time. The fried rice was another letdown overcooked and overly hard, almost as if it had been “too fried.” Overall, it was surprising to see a fast-food chain with so few items prepared to serve roughly 10 customers. I hope the staff, especially the trainees, can be more attentive and welcoming in the future.
Saatwik — Google review
Chopstix is very much the fast food of Chinese cuisine. And considering that I really can't give it a higher rating. Because if I was to get a takeaway from my local Chinese we are talking about £20 for a meal for the 4 of us. But today we payed more than double that. The food was good but not spectacular, the staff were decent and the way the food was layed out was fine. Would I go back, probably not.

Your classic fast food place. They serve noodles and rice with different toppings. We had a large box with three toppings, chicken barbecue, beef with salt and paper chicken. We didn’t even remember to take a pic before hand we were so hungry and food looked so good we had to dig in. Service was efficient and Chelsea took good care of us. The quantity was ample we shared it for two. I would rate the spice 7/10. You can opt for different sauces. We took sweet caramel sauce.

Fish & chips restaurant
Seafood restaurant
Nestled on Kilmarnock Road, Salt & Vinegar has quickly become a beloved gem in the Shawlands area, filling a gap for quality fish and chips. This charming eatery boasts an enticing takeaway menu featuring classics like haddock, cod, lemon sole, calamari, and scallops—all available in traditional batter or panko breadcrumbs. For those who prefer to dine in, the nautical-themed restaurant creates an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of seaside adventures.
Had dinner here recently and was pleasantly surprised by the food offered. There isn't only the traditional chippy options, you can also get things like grilled fish and even pasta and risotto. The food was good and the staff were nice.

Not great. Food very average for the price. Only the fish in breadcrumbs in halal, not in batter. How strange. Couldn't even order onion rings as the waitress said they weren't halal. Chips were literally a kids portion. Not good value for money..Wouldn't return for this reason.

Salt and Vinegar is our favourite seafood restaurent. Great food, great value and wonderful staff. We love the lunchtime deal. We were served by Eli last week who is friendly, courteous and always so helpful. Good to see him back. See you soon.
Shelley L — Google review
I don’t get why people rave about this restaurant! The food isn’t great for the price and the atmosphere is ruined by constantly overhearing the takeaway customers and delivery riders. The staff seem keen to chase you out, even when there’s no one waiting. The sauce pot really lowers the class of the restaurant, it would be so much better to have sauce bottles and salt/pepper shakers. It really feels like Salt & Vinegar can’t decide whether it’s an expensive restaurant or a chippy that has added some tables. At the prices being charged, I’d expect better quality and atmosphere than the sit-down Blue Lagoons.
Iona M — Google review
Awesome chippy!! Popped in after moving one of our customers up to Glasgow from Nottingham. The lads on the counter were really friendly and we had a good laugh with Adam! The food was lovely and the portions were perfect, kept us full up all the way back to Nottingham. Of course qe tried the deep fried Mars bar being tourists and all 😎 it was lovely!!
LDE R — Google review
Food was very oily and salty. Fish was just a slither to be honest, maybe 60-70g of meat in batter. It wasn’t terrible but maybe what I’d expect from like a Blue Lagoon or something. 30 odd quid our small order came to, so about £10 too expensive I’d say.
Ben G — Google review
Table for two at 5.30. We parked in a nearby street with no parking restrictions. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but got busy as the evening progressed. The surroundings were bright and airy with a nautical theme. We chose to sit in a booth and our waiters were attentive but not overbearing. I had mussels in spicy tomato broth with garlic bread. My better had the mussels in the white wine sauce. Both were nice but I definitely preferred mine. The portions were massive for a starter. For main I had the seafood linguine in tomato passata whilst my better half had the lobster ravioli. Again, the portions were great and the food was very tasty. We had also ordered onion rings as a side but we struggled to finish them as we were so full. The staff kindly gave us a doggy bag to take them away. Clean, bright surroundings, unpretentious, good tasty food, big portions and friendly and efficient staff. As Arnold S. would say, "Eating is not cheating" or something like that

South Indian restaurant
Westend Banana Leaf, formerly known as West End Banana Leaf, is a hidden gem located on Old Dumbarton Road in Glasgow. Despite its unassuming appearance, this South Indian restaurant offers an authentic culinary experience that has garnered a loyal following. The menu features mini set meals with options for chicken, lamb, or fish curry along with traditional accompaniments like rice, chappatis, and poppadum.
10/10 restaurant Decent people running the restaurant, no show off nothing fancy, just tasty and authentic food. Everything we tried was mind blowing, prices of every dishes are reasonable, good quantity.
Sheena T — Google review
Food is tasty, we ordered mysore masala dosa and masala dosa and mango lassi. Staff was nice the only this that we did not like is that we clearly asked to keep potato masala aside and they just ignored this request. Atmosphere is good, but restaurant is in basement so little dark. Washrooms are so small and damped could be improved. For buggies or prams tou would have to go down around 10-12 stairs so beware. Not sure if they have any lift etc.
Vikas J — Google review
I recently dined at Banana Leaf in Glasgow and was quite pleased with the variety and taste of the food offered. The menu had a good range of options, and overall, the dishes were enjoyable. However, I was disappointed when the final bill arrived. The prices listed on the menu differed from those on the bill, and the staff explained that the menu prices were shown without VAT. This lack of transparency was surprising, as it’s uncommon for restaurants not to include VAT in the displayed prices. Clear and upfront pricing is essential to ensure customers know exactly what they are being charged. Additionally, the customer service could have been more welcoming. A pleasant service is a basic expectation that enhances the overall dining experience.

Fantastic food, I would rate it the highest for food, we had mysore masala dosa, tomato soup and chicken biryani, I simply could not believe the food could be so authentic anywhere outside of India, I would never miss eating here whenever I am in Glasgow, caution: the food is here is very hot and spicy, it ain’t for the faint hearted.
Reetesh S — Google review
Although the prices are pretty reasonable the food did not do justice with small portion sizes and the dosa and idli seemed stale and the curry lacked flavour. There are plenty of Indian restaurants which do better food. The server was totally ignoring us we had to ask twice for everything. Overall it’s average with the taste quality, however staff can be trained better!

5-STARS & MUCH MORE...!!! This Hidden GeM deserves to be one of the BEST AUTHENTIC SOUTH INDIAN FOOD restaurants in Glasgow city. Kudos to a couple of friends who highly recommended it... Flavours are fantastic, taste will make you drool 🤤 fabulous food overall, extremely reasonable pricing with affordable value & good portions. Service is brilliant with polite staff and interiors are beautifully and tastefully done with classic South Indian Music 🎶 to compete the vibe. Will be back again (& again) soon!!!

Nice place to eat, preparations are good, can In fact work on the ambience.

I will go again and again as this place is cost effective, authentic taste. They have the best Indian food in Glasgow. South Indian to be precise. The spice level is not milder to cater to local taste so if you have the heart to try authentic South Indian food this is your place. Please note they do not serve alcohol. The quality is good and the price is reasonable.

West Side Tavern, located near Kelvinbridge Station, offers a retro American-style Italian dining experience with a touch of 70s and modern vibes. The menu features New York-style pizzas like the popular Spice Boi topped with mozzarella, pepperoni, hot honey, and chillies. In addition to the tavern pizzas, the seasonal menu includes tasty pastas and starters. Guests can enjoy unique cocktails like Disco 75 and Jennifer Lopez Cocktail along with a selection of beers.
We came for the Goodfellas film night and it was truly excellent! The atmosphere and attention to detail with the names of the dishes etc was on point. Only thing was we felt the portions were a bit small, would have happily paid more for a bit more food. Hopefully they’ll do more film nights like this, we would definitely come again!

Had a fantastic meal today for 4. Love the sharing style but you could happily treat it like a normal 3 course meal. Great vegetarian options, and the capellini croquettes?! My god, so good! My dad described it as “the best Italian meal I’ve had in a long time, possibly ever”. Can’t wait to go back!

Been to West Side Tavern 4 times now and it gets better every time. Spice Boi is perfection in a pizza and the crispy potatoes are like crack - Superb!

Had a great experience here. The staff are really knowledgeable and just some very cool eggs. I love chatting about music and drinks wherever I go and was very much indulged. The menu is clever, funny and the liquid to go with it, phenomenal! Thanks to all at West Side Tavern! See you soon!
Laura M — Google review
Had been really looking forward to trying this place but was seriously let down. I ordered the vodka pie (pictured) and it was dry as a bone. The base was very thin and dry (more the texture of a cracker than a crispy pizza base), the toppings were scarce, and the cheese was burnt, so for £16 this felt like a total rip off. Furthermore, the pizza that my friend ordered simply never arrived. It was taking a while so we asked after it and were told that the roll had ended so the order had been missed, which is an honest mistake, and that it would be made up immediately. But it still didn't appear despite us checking on it again and being told it was "on its way". Finally after we had waited an hour since ordering we decided to leave instead of waiting any longer, and my friend had to eat elsewhere. The staff were nice enough about it but it could have been resolved much more effectively. The atmosphere was lovely and the interior was nicely designed, but that only counts for so much when the food is bad/non-existent. Definitely a case of style over substance. Would not recommend and I won't be going back.
E P — Google review
I had the pleasure of dining and drinking here with a good friend. I opted for all the non alcoholic options, from the Lucky Star Ale to the Non Martini - absolutely love a place that can cater for sober October. Service was superb and dishes were delicious. I sat in the beer garden and it was cozy and warm. 10/10 highly recommend.
Kesang B — Google review
Such a great spot. Food is excellent, and great for sharing but just as good individually. Staff are always lovely, and works well as a drinks spot as well as a sunny beer garden as much as a moody evening vibe.
Harry M — Google review
Smash burger pizza isn’t their best pizza, too much burger sauce, overpowers the rest of the pizza. This time, service was a bit slow, but wasn’t the busiest it’s been. The “Mm… Booze” cocktail is a very good boozy dessert, but wouldn’t recommend as a drink as it’s on the cocktail menu. I’ve been to west side tavern multiple times because my friends wanna go, but I personally wouldn’t go back for food, just cocktails. Hugo Spritz is a good one.

If you're looking for a student-friendly bar with great cocktails, Vodka Wodka is the place to go! The drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is fun and lively. The outdoor seating area is especially nice in cold weather.
The best night out ever! Love victor glen and Sonya! Will be here for every pub quiz Tuesday for the rest of my life.

Went here with some friends due to the deals advertised on the outside of the bar. First dissapointment, no pizza was available (sad times). They qlso didn't have any of the house larger advertised so my friend ended up paying £7 for a madri. I ordered a marg on their weekday deal and it was hands down the worst margarita I've ever had the displeasure of drinking. Won't be coming back! 2 stars as the bar staff were nice

This lovely young man in Ashton Lane’s best wee pub made us feel so welcome, making up for the terrible way we were treated at Jinty’s next door. The atmosphere here is great.
Clare E — Google review
Vodka Wodka is an excellent pub on Ashton Lane. Great bar with lots of drinks availability and a huge cocktail selection too. Ample seating inside the front, even more behind and on a summers day in the HUGE beer garden, there is loads of outside seating and the DJ brings in a good crowd. Highly recommended
Stuarty B — Google review
We can up the west end for a day out myself and husband. Came up Ashton lane and visited a few bars. We approached vodka wodka and was told it was ‘too busy’ As we sat in the bar across the road, we witnessed the young guy on the door letting many your women in the bar and ushering away many male groups. He seemed to be very selective on the gender and style of the person or group. I find this appalling that bars are able to discriminate against gender this way. Won’t attempt to visit this bar again!
Gillian O — Google review
Good place to go to for reasonably priced, well-prepared cocktails. They've got a nice beer garden for relaxed evenings outside. However, the atmosphere feels a bit too studenty for my taste.
Cynthia L — Google review
Used to really like it here but its gone down hill. The female bar tender yesterday was horrific, it felt as if she was doing us a favour by serving us, that was after she finally put her phone dkwn to acknowledge our very existance. I won't bother to burden the establishment with my custom again.
Mykiman718 — Google review
Could not recommend this place more! Had our yearly staff night out here and every single person was looked after. This place was busy at the time we were all there and staff were on the ball making sure customers didn’t need to wait long on drinks, While offering Great recommendations on cocktails.🍹 Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Special shoutout to Victor, Owen & Sophie! Who are an absolute credit to vodka wodka! Keep up the good work guys! We’re thankful and we had an amazing night and will be back without a doubt! 🩷 If you’re looking for a fun relaxed atmosphere with good music, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!

Located in the vibrant Finnieston area, Frank’s Pizza & Subs is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts. The New York-style pizza has garnered rave reviews, with patrons praising its authenticity and flavor. In addition to their delectable pizzas, the chicken tenders are highly recommended, especially when paired with their hot buffalo sauce. The option to bring your own beverages adds to the appeal of this establishment.
Super friendly staff, we were told upfront about the waiting times for the pizza. The customer service was so nice and in the end they ended up not taking any money at all because of the waiting time which was the kindest gesture despite all the sides coming at a good time. The waitresses were so nice and the manager Heather was super friendly and so kind for taking the entire order off. They also did not rush us at all despite the shop beginning to close while we were eating. The food was lovely as well as the atmosphere and the customer service was the best part. We would definitely come again and we have consistently had a good experience here :)
Umaima M — Google review
Went tonight after hearing good things the last few months. Totally underwhelming, the girl serving couldn't be less interested if she tried. The pizzas were burnt, simple as that really, if they had been taken out the oven a few minutes earlier, then they would have been so much better. Average at best. 2.5/5 I won't bother returning as there are plenty of other venues more worthy of my cash.
R J — Google review
Worth the Wait? I’d heard a lot of hype about Frank’s Pizza in Finnieston, so was keen to give it a proper try. I’ve actually swung by a few times before, but the waiting times were always a bit mad. Tonight, though, I only had to wait a modest 40 minutes. So… was it worth it? Honestly? Probably not. The pizzas smelled great, looked the part too. But the base was on the dry side, and by the time I was about 75% through, I was struggling to finish the slices. Never a great sign. The fries were a bit disappointing too being a tad on the soggy side and a bit heavy-handed with the seasoning. To be fair, I did have to travel about 10 minutes to get home to eat it, but that really shouldn’t be enough to take the life out of a pizza or turn the fries soggy. The only other thing that left a bit of a sour taste was the service. Google said they close at 8pm – I arrived just after 7 and asked for a takeaway. The two staff looked at each other like I’d just asked them to stay overnight. One of them I’m sure even asked if they could start closing the shutters while I was ordering. They took the order, but it was clear they’d rather I hadn’t bothered. Would I go back? Probably not to the Finnieston one. But I’ll give the East End branch a shot – maybe things are different over there.

Decided to try this place on a whim and weren't disappointed. Was around 5pm on a Wednesday, walked in and sat down immediately. Only 5 small tables available, including us, 3 were occupied during our visit. The girl working was nice, quick to serve and there if we needed her. Ordered a pizza, franks fries and chicken tenders between two of us. Pizzas definitely come out crispier and more charred than a lot of places (and I hate burnt pizza) but this didn't taste burnt and I even ate all my crusts. The garlic mayo was excellent. The pizza was good, not the best I've had but not bad either. The fries were amazing, and a huge portion, we couldn't finish them. The chicken tenders were absolutely swimming in buffalo sauce, and I wasn't a big fan of them but my partner ate them all. They would have been better with less sauce or the sauce on the side to dip as they were pretty difficult to eat. Overall, a nice wee pizza joint and I would eat here again.
Gillian M — Google review
Genuinely the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. Black as coal, almost £20 for this! Totally unacceptable, the whole thing went in the bin. Ridiculous! £40 for the whole order including delivery, over priced, so disappointed!
Francesca P — Google review
Mid. Over hyped, pizza is over cooked (sometimes) and only nice when you add the hot honey it doesn't stand well on its own. The music is obnoxiously loud, one of those places they don't want you to stay too long which is far. Don't offer tap water which is strange. Chicken tenders are nice are large (sometimes) problem with this place is it's not consistent, definitely better places in Glasgow for pizza.
Rose — Google review
Literally the worst ever pizza I had in my life. The bottom of the pizza was completely black and burnt all I could taste was that for £15! I would have mentioned to the waitress if she bothered checking on us. The chairs are uncomfortable and small, the soft drink was served room temperature.
Davdev89 — Google review
Went over today for opening and was superb, not waiting to long for your food to come out. Well fired pizza and mozzarella sticks were amazing. A little to much sauce on the chicken for me but everyone is different. I will be back.

Visited today with my good lady & we're seated straight away, we orderedThe Belter stack for myself with the cherry Bakewell latte & my partner ordered the Nutella pancakes with fruit & kinder Bueno frappe, food arrived faster than we thought it would as it was quite busy. The portions were massive & I almost couldn't finish mine (almost) my partner definitely couldn't finish hers. I had to try the pancakes too. Food was outstanding & the drinks were delicious we couldn't leave without taking some cakes home to try. Will be paying a visit again next week if we can wait that long? Lovely relaxed environment, very friendly staff & great value for money. Making the travel very worthwhile. Think we've found a new favourite brunch venue

Went for a family brunch last week to celebrate my granddaughters birthday. Food and service was spot on and it was surprisingly busy for a mid week brunch. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had pancakes, panini and the brioche french toast was amazing. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food.

One of the best places for brunch or a late lunch if you live around the north side of Glasgow. I recommend the filled ciabatta options with a mug of soup side (my favourite). The real headline is the stacks and the specials!

Lovely chatting to Giuseppe as we were leaving, and will definitely be back! ☺️

Ronzio, heard it opened in Bishopbriggs so decided to give it a try for lunch. We were not disappointed! The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere felt very relaxed. Service was quick and with a smile. I ordered the Ronzio Stack (see photo) which was something else! Packed with flavours and plenty to have you skip dinner! Coffee, both Americano and Espresso, were freshly made and aromatic! We decided to treat ourselves with a Vanilla Slice which, we’ll what can I say, it’s a cake! Cake is life! 😉 Price vs. quality is more than fair. The overall feeling: It’s a buzzing cafe where they seem to have it all under control and smiles all around. Another place on the list for breakfast/lunch.

The pizza at this establishment is genuinely handmade and freshly prepared, which contributes positively to the overall dining experience. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and after multiple visits, I can attest to the consistently favorable experiences I’ve had. Additionally, the location is conveniently situated near Kelvingrove Park. It’s also worth noting that they offer a discount for students, which is a nice touch. However, please be aware that they only provide takeaway service and do not have dining in options.

Easily some of the best pizza you’ll find in Glasgow. Tucked right next to Kelvingrove Park, this little van—no bigger than a horsebox—serves up incredible wood-fired pizzas with genuinely friendly service. The menu offers a great variety of toppings. I highly recommend the pepperoni with hot honey, or if you're vegetarian, the Portobello mushroom, olive, and truffle oil combo is outstanding. Keep in mind the oven only cooks about two pizzas at a time, but we visited on a quiet day and service was quick. There are plenty of benches nearby to relax while you wait and trust me, the pizza is absolutely worth it. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Dough Man’s Land Pizza Wagon, was the late night catering, for a fantastic wedding we attended at Dumfries House last weekend. (August 2025) 2 very friendly, chatty guys serving and making the pizzas. I have to say, normally I never eat pizza, I have just never found a pizza, nice enough, that I thought it was worth going to a restaurant or ordering takeaway for. I have now changed my mind. I had the most delicious mushroom, olive and truffle oil pizza, it was to die for. My husband was that surprised I ate pizza, he took a photo and sent it to our children. Highly recommend that you try their pizzas, I will travel through to Glasgow, if my family wants to go out for pizza now.

This is one of the best brunch spots in Glasgow. We had pancakes, bacon and maple syrup as well as smashed avocado and poached eggs. Fortunately we happened to stop by on a sunny afternoon in October - the outdoor area is a little sun trap. The service is great, the staff are attentive and friendly and the food was brought out to us quite quickly. I would highly recommend this place.

Coffees were good for a while but have gone downhill since then. Recently got a flat white and it was in a huge cup, tasted burnt and was too milky. I think all the staff need to learn how to make coffee so that consistent service is provided. Food isn't very good either. My friend had the vegan breakfast and there were eggs on the plate. I always get the impression that my order will only be half right whenever I order from here. Please try to improve this as I would really love to help a local business but don't feel that the quality is there.

Good menu, really liked the food offering of lunch options (pizza, sandwiches) and all day break dad menu. Food was tasty and arrived quickly. A few staff members weren't as friendly and we sat next to the food hatch which was a bit busy but overall really recommend. Outside area looks great

I was quite disappointed. Burger was okay but not worth the price at all, chips looked like frozen French fries with no seasoning at all. My toddlers plates are better than the tin sounding ones provided. Could get more for your money and better quality elsewhere.

The Sunday roast was such a disappointment, especially compared to what it used to be. Ordered a few times last year and it was excellent. This time the beef was very tough, the gravy bland and the macaroni cheese tasted like it came out a tin. Overall underwhelming and not worth the £27 for two at all. Such a drop in quality.

Waited 17 minutes for take away cappuccino. When it finally came, cups were small even I’ve paid for regular ones. The drinks were heavier than usual. Walked 10 meters to where u came from and found the drinks are merely white coffee. Very disappointed. The manager there did not trust my words when I came back and dispute that cappuccino should be the way it is. My friend told me that usually they are a good wee cafe, but not that day. These pizzas are amazing - a Barras hidden gem. Service was really friendly and pizzas were cooked fresh to order and ready within 10 minutes. Really good value too! We had: Special #1 - caramelised shallots, pear, Stilton, walnuts, rocket, and hot honey (£11). Truffle mushroom - mushrooms, stracciatella, truffle oil (£10). Will definitely be back.

Great pizza, no queue, and quick service. I thought prices were £1 or £2 too high for a place that doesn't have seating but the pizza makes up for it. A blend between napoletan & new York style pizza. Toppings taste high quality and the basil being put on after the cook shows the chef knows what he's doing. Will be back!
