I am proud to have such a wonderful church in my neighborhood. I appreciate the support they provide to the community. The volunteers are very territorial and judgmental. I imagine that they’re saving the best for themselves. They will look you in the face and hand you decaying vegetables with a smile. I say this with love and respect. People shouldn’t be treated like trash and made to stand outside in the rain for a bag of random groceries. It’s hard for folks and we don’t want to seem ungrateful for the help but it’s also painful to have to throw away food that was rotten when it was given to us. I know that it is not easy. I wish nothing but the best for all who are involved in this program and I pray that they will continue but consider the importance of giving with their heart. Perhaps offer canning and pickling workshops that show people how to preserve food. Knowledge is power.

Our Pastor, Father Bozant, and the other priests, are kind, patient, hospitable and understanding of the spiritual needs of their flock. Parish wide novenas are led here, regularly, and I have participated in a number of out door Eucharistic Processions that are conducted with pomp, reverence and beauty (e.g. rose petals, bells ringing and even a bag piper), that just adds to the positive spiritual experience. My favorite event here has been the annual devotion to St. Joseph in March, with a huge, very well decorated, "St. Joseph Table." The buildings are older, but are being renovated and I look forward to what the future brings. I highly recommend this Parish.

We weren't able to try the beer being offered because there card reader wasn't working and we didn't have any cash on hand.
