First of all when you enter you smell and the meat and spices cooking up. You can feel the authenticity in the atmosphere. The menu is extremely unique and versatile. The chipotle sauce is no joke, but it's so good! We got chicken enchiladas, chicken tacos, cheese and pepper tamales, and el esquelator (nacho fries). All were excellent! As a bonus, the art inside the restaurant was beautiful to look at while we waited for our food and I was happy to see the sign outside that it is a woman owned business (obviously by the name). They always have a bomb happy hour special everyday especially on Fridays! Friday is ladies night with an all you can drink special for 40 dollars (I believe it’s a two hour time limit). Very little meat, meat was dry and lacking flavor and large onions that were not enjoyable to eat. More onions than meat in each of my tacos.
