The place is clean, the staff are attentive and everything is very quick - we were under 20 minutes from ordering to all dishes being brought out. One small gripe I have is the lager I recieved was on the tepid side. It was just about drinkable but I wouldn't order it again. The cocktails, like the food, were as you would expect in a larger restaurant or a chain. Prove wise slightly higer than similar places but not expensive given the location.

I'll start with the positives, the mains were delicious, we got the beef brisket burrito and the chipotle chicken enchiladas to share. Wasn’t available but I got it on deliveroo and it was really bland. Today went for tacos and got the prawn, chicken and steak. Didn’t really have seasoning, and my friends thought the same. They have one 8 person table inside where they do a tasting menu on certain days but any other day you just order from the counter and the your food out and eat at one of the wooden tables outside so it’s best when the weather is good. A queue formed while we were there but the wait is definitely worth it! We had 3 tacos for £12 and some chips and guacamole. The food was absolutely delicious! Some of the best tacos I’ve eaten. Extremely tasty and hot sauce compliments the tacos very nicely. But then we had the king prawn tacos and the nachos. The king prawns missed some acidity, and had a bit too much batter. The cheese on the nachos was the liquid kind, which is unfortunate as it would've been a good opportunity to mix it with some awesome local cheeses. I would definitely go again, but since we had 2/4 items as a miss it's hard to give it 5* and signal a guaranteed good eat.

This place has went downhill food wise in only a couple of months. You are given a glass of prosecco on arrival but it did take asking 2 members of staff to ask if was allowed the chips that came with it as gluten free. Went at lunchtime and although no lunchtime menus anymore (revamp), a collection of small/large plates can be ordered. We had chicken satay (small plate) which had the most beautiful sauce. I went for pork belly rice noodles (drunk noodles) and my wife was the mango chicken dish with Jasmin rice. Both beautiful and so tasty! Can't remember the name of the chicken dish. A large plate with 2 sides would have been more than enough but now we know, we can order differently. The cocktails were good, very good. But, the food here was very good. The Thai fried chicken as a starter needs to be an option as a main - it’s probably the best I’ve had in Scotland. The squid was prepared properly (rarely happens in UK) and was perfectly cooked and tender. The main course pork belly was good, and adding in the veg and the pineapple worked really well. There is NO WAY in heaven or hell you can get a 1cm thick steak med-rare. The steak was super tough, the fat was raw and not rendered nicely and a third could not be eaten due to the sinew. Chips were nice … I don’t eat fried mushrooms or fields of odd looking salad garnish. A serviette holder is available on the table but must be for show, coz I had to ask for a serviette 🙄 When the bill came (no offer of a tooth pick) … low and behold charged for the chips AND asked for a gratuity.

There are plenty of side dishes which they top up the through your visit if you need them. Chips, garlic bread, black bean stew & rice and dips among other things to get you going. But the meat comes round thick and fast and it’s all delightful…except the pork sausages. I wasn’t really a fan of those. Loved everything else though (Rump with Garlic and the Ribs being top of the list!) The service was fantastic (particularly from the dark haired girl with the nose-ring) but all staff were efficient and polite throughout. The place itself is really stylish and modern and has a touch of class about it. The toilets look great too for those of you interested in that sort of thing. There are cocktails aplenty! Would recommend for any sort of celebratory dinner or work do. The kids ate free on Sunday and whilst they were easily enough accommodated for there’s no set children’s menu so keep that in mind. Looking forward to a second visit soon!!

All the dishes were absolutely brilliant and it was hard to pick a favourite. The menu is fairly small and mainly fish based but there's still plenty of choice if seafood isn't your thing. The vegetable dishes were amazing. The service was also the best I've had in any restaurant in a very long time, friendly, knowledgeable and on hand for excellent recommendations. The only slight negative is the size of the tables if you're a table for two. They're very small and you're gaunna be crammed right in next to other diners. You'd be as well introducing yourself and helping yourself to whatever they're eating because you're basically at the same table as them. That would usually put me off a restaurant but I'd come back here and sit on the floor if I had to the grub really is that good.

Started out fabulous first 3 dishes were fantastic, then it took a turn. Tortillas for two dishes seemed undercooked and hard, fell apart and crumbled very easily. The crayfish and fried fish ones. Then the calamari - the saltiest thing I have ever eaten. It made me wince it was so over powering and off putting. We left most of it after attempting to eat it with different sauces to cover the salt. When ordering we wanted to do it in stages - however the service speaks volumes here that they don’t listen and are very passive. I get it is small plates but often want to split meats and fish and white meats. They brought the steak before other dishes against my request. I sent it back, and when finished asked for it again. I’m not naive and they served me the same portion over cooked. Photos for reference that the first one looked perfect, the second showed double over cooking and looked over done. I would return for specific toastadas, however think the rest outweigh the good and I’m reluctant to. Shame as some flavours were amazing and their blood orange hot sauce was a wonderful flavourful concoction.

The portions are actually quite big and our table was happy with a taco each, shared bbq and some sides. Also the margaritas are so good! Having spent a couple of months in Mexico they are doing a great job fusing the Mexican and western flavours. Whilst the food was great so was the service. The restaurant was so busy, but our two servers were really lovely and explained the menu well and let us know how it worked. The tall guy was particularly funny.
