It’s free to enter though, possibly to control guest numbers. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly chap who said we will be seeing the Lowry 360. Wasn’t sure what it was, but we were led into a theatre and watched a 6 minute video of the famous Lowry painting of fans going to Bolton Wanderers football club! We highly recommend you do this as the video brought the painting to life! The video filled all the walls, ceiling and floor and you became mesmerised into the painting! It was brilliant!! We then saw the rest of the Lowry paintings and then saw the fabulous Quentin Blake illustrations! I’ve read many books as a child with his illustrations and it was fascinating to see them close up!

Amazing I would highly recommend Lowry 360 after you can walk around the gallery and look at a huge collection of his works plus there's some of his personal items. All for zero cost so be generous and put a little coin into the collection boxes. There is a cafe, restraunt, bar and a well stocked gift shop plus toilets in the building. A big thankyou to Neil who we met as we entered extremely sociable and explained everything we felt so welcome what a credit to the Lowry. If in Manchester it's a must place to visit.

There is a live DJ playing at the venue every Sunday, the atmosphere is great and very lively but you can still talk easily. The roast beef is served rare/medium rare, or you can ask for it to be cooked for longer to your preference. The Bacon loin is delicious, very juicy and the honey mustard glaze is delightful. The half roast chicken is awesome, also very juicy and the meat comes from the bones very easily. Everything was cooked to perfection! The veggie offerings have also been great, I've so far, only tried the mushroom Wellington and a curry potato pie (for science) but both were super tasty. The trimmings are all great, very fresh and great quality - the yorkshire puddings are immense and the gravy is super tasty. My favourite part is the red cabbage, it has an almost winter spiced taste and it's gorgeous! To top it off, the trimmings are unlimited! Making it great value for money. Overall, a great experience and a lovely carvery. Great to have a good carvery in the city centre!

The room was just out of this world. Spacious, very clean and had an industrial vibe. All amenities catered for every need possible. The toiletries were gorgeous (and yes there is a hairdryer too). Just sat listening to them, drinking and chilling was what was needed. Breakfast was delightful and the monitor just topped the bill. Definitely worth every penny and more.

The best bit about this bar is the building fit out, it's a wonder to look at and must have cost an unbelievable amount to decorate. We have 2 children a girl aged 10 and a little lad aged 6 and they both love cricket and enjoy trips to Old Trafford for the Blast and the Hundred. We had two lanes booked on one of their Christmas party packages and it was absolutely spot on. But it was just as good as this branch even on a quiet afternoon. We walked in and were greeted, they set us up to check in and the whole process was very easy. The staff are really attentive and the cocktails are fantastic, any questions they'll answer them. The atmosphere in this venue was fantastic. The place was spotless, not a crumb in site. We love the action replays for the shuffleboard and how it can be saved to an email. Overall we had an wonderful experience and we didn't have to dig deep into our pockets for it!

Although you only get 90 mins on the bottomless brunch, it is more than enough. Staff are very welcoming, and are round to take a drinks order and to just check on you regularly but not over bearing. I'm fussy with fillings of sandwiches, and it always seems to be the same fillings on afternoon tea so personally I didn't eat much of the offerings but for someone less fussy than me it would've been enough. Very retro style, although the loos are a bit strange having no sort of ante-room. Just walk in straight off the pub floor. Maybe a trellis screen or something outside might help. However, the decor in the loos is pure 80s, and I loved it. The dog was given dog treats and ice cubes, which she enjoyed. The only real moan was that the music was a bit loud, especially as we went in at 4.30 pm. Turn it up for the evening crowd by all means, but a bit much for afternoon. I'd highly recommend.

Just wanted to say I was blown away with the service and how good the afternoon tea was for the baby shower yesterday. All dietary needs were catered for. The food was gorgeous and the kids were so excited were their trays especially my daughter who needs gluten free and was catered for so perfectly she felt special. Olly was looking after us and he was just brilliant, he was so confident and just had everything in control the whole time and even offered a game of music bingo at the end when we were about to go meaning we stayed til nearly closing 😂.
