Peaceful & lush with intermittent sea views. Walk up the steps or get the funicular to the summit of E. Hill enter the park then follow the signs to The Glens. The trail starts at the far end of the park and goes all the way to Fire Hills. Varied paths take you through woods and open fields and across the river. Breathtaking sea views but be warned it's seriously up and downy in a few parts with steps down into the glen and up the other side. A great workout and more rewarding the further you go, around 8-10 miles there and back. Absolutely worth the effort though. Benches and good signage along the way. If you're craving a bit of green this is the place to go without having to get in the car.

There is beautiful scenery and many interesting paths to choose from. The park is very well maintained and offers plenty of parking. Unfortunately, the parking is not free, but I guess some of the money goes towards maintaining the place. You could easily spend the whole day exploring and enjoying the stunning views. We also grabbed a spot of lunch that was pretty good. It is not cheap for what you actually get, but nevertheless, it was reasonable given that it is the only place where you can get food and drink.
