This time I visited on a personal visit and the servers did mention that they were short staffed so the wait was a bit long. I think from the time we ordered it took about 45 minutes before our food came out which isn’t a probably per se. I ordered the chicken and waffles and unfortunately they forgot to add the Nashville hot syrup. Additionally the chicken was a bit on the drier side with the waffles a bit flat. We also ordered a small plate of breakfast nachos which was delicious, the chips were so crisp and held the toppings well! We also ordered a dozen oysters and they were your typical round of oysters, no weird smell, very buttery and paired nicely with the bourbon horseradish bbq sauce which definitely ask for as they did not have straight horseradish. Price wise I would say expect to spend anywhere between 30-50 pp if not a bit more if you’re drinking a few more cocktails. The restaurant is also located on the corner of the street so it is street parking with some pay to park spots along the side right across the street. It is free on Sundays. Where the restaurant earned their stars for me was their service. Despite being short staffed, everyone was in great spirits and no one expressed any sort of frustration or annoyance with the customers. They also chatted with the customers and laughed which was such a nice touch to the visit!

I explored the entire Fell St area in my inebriated state in order to scope the scene for a possible bar swap mid day just to switch it up, but after poking around in every single establisbment in the area I didnt feel that anything out-matched Max's. The amaretto sour wasn’t on the menu but the bartender gladly made me one. It was my favorite drink. I think this establishment’s real draw is it’s Amaro selection. I didn’t try it this time but they have a huge Amaro selection and Amaro flights so you can taste different ones. The price range for drinks was about $10-$20. The only thing I didn’t like is that even though I had to order the drinks at the bar and pick them up myself, they have a 20% automatic gratuity on all drinks. We only ordered appetizers and drinks which I thought were delicious and amazing. It was a lovely early summer afternoon and we sat on the outdoor patio which was just delightful. I just took a friend there for dinner on Friday, 19 Sep 2025 and we were underwhelmed by the food. Our waiter, Jamie, was great. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. I ordered the fall arugula salad. I was excited for it but it was totally disappointing. The lemon dressing was so salty I couldn't finish even half of it. It contained poached apples but they must have used way too many whole cloves while poaching and the flavor was overpowering and off putting. Plus they didn't strain the whole cloves out before plating rhe apples so you ended up biting into one which was not pleasant. My second dish was roasted vegetables. Also, disappointing. The parsnips were sliced into quarters which wasn't a great choice because the ends were so overcooked they were like wood twigs. My friend ordered the trout and complained that it had a very vinegar like taste. We weren't sure what that was about. In their defense someone did tell us that it was the first day that the kitchen was preparing their new fall menu so maybe they were still working out the kinks. I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because I do love the location, the patio, and the vibe, but I hope they can get their act together. Competition is stiff for restaraunts!

Ordered a couple of beers - all local to the area..both were outstanding (a märzen & NEIPA) - clean, crisp and fresh. Pizza selection was the Pepe Martinez - loads of curled pepperonis cups, melted mozz, fresh strips of basil and a sprinkling of asiago. Sauce amount was perfect and blended/balanced well with everything.. ingredients were super fresh and the crust was firm and crisp where needed but gave way to that satisfying chew you want in the crust. All around an excellent pizza! I had to wait a bit longer than expected but it was soooo worth the wait.

I really liked the tenders and bread pudding. the burnt ends was kinda a dissapointment, not great but not terrible, my expectations were higher. I have never came across a vegan bread pudding before, so to have one was a surprise and was really good, also not overly sweet like a lot of vegan desserts. The chicken tenders were surprisingly good especially the Buffalo style and with the vegan ranch/blue cheese, they were a little soft, but overall really good. My second time coming, there was a different server and he was very nice and got my food out to me quick and asked if I wanted water while I waited for my food. I got a vegan pizza, which I was hyped for since I heard good things, but it was mediocre at best in my opinion. I've definitely had better vegan pizza. Thankfully we took an uber since there was no parking lot, or really anywhere to park at all. The restaurant has two main sections, upstairs and downstairs. My party wanted to dine upstairs that way we would have a small view of the city while we enjoyed our Saturday brunch. We arrived about 15 minutes before the place opened, and the downstairs server was kind enough to open the door and let us in just as the place was opening. The upstairs server did a pretty good job at taking care of all of our needs, lots of mimosas and bloody Mary's and a couple of beers to go around. The food was absolutely incredible, I would highly recommend getting the Brulé French toast. We had only one small problem and that was a piece of metal found in one of our dishes, we were disappointed the management didn't bother to take a percentage of the bill off or even comp the one meal. This place seems like it would be real fun after the sun goes down, I bet its a hot spot for young people to let off some steam after a hard day at work.

What really makes Old Line special is the staff. The manager, Will, answered emails from us nonstop for over a year, held off-hour planning meetings with us, and was so responsive, it made us feel like a part of the Old Line family. Will assisted with set up the wedding venue itself (which was mostly DIY) and moved things around to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. The moment it opened this year I knew I would love it but it quickly became my favorite bar in Baltimore.
