It's quite big - there are tables outside, bar area, few dining rooms inside and lavatories on the lower ground floor. We were greeted at the door and asked if we had a booking, we didn't but still managed to get a table. It was Thursday night, so it wasn't that busy. The service was very friendly and fast. The food menu has interesting dishes, a variety of vegetarian options, and their famous kebabs. I definitely recommend the chicken one. It's served either with chips, couscous, or coconut rice. Cost and bill- price of items is already high and not justified by the portion. Then the bill, they need to check the dictionary for the meaning of 'charity' as they automatically add it to your bill. But it's not all one sided they also add a 10% service charge, which indeed is 'optional', and you can pay the rest of the amount without this optional charge. We must thank them for this mercy! We were pleased to find parking on the premises at the front and they have space at the back too. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who offered us any seat we wanted as we visited at the quiet lunch period as I had the day off from work too. There were a few other customers but it was nice to have a whole section to ourselves. After taking our seats - the waiter gave us the menu which also had a nice halal section and we were assured that the meat was cooked on a separate section to other meats. We went with the waiters recommendations on our main meals and we were very pleased with what we went for. We didn’t opt for any starters that day as the desserts sounded very appetising. My wife also went for a mocktails called Bonita which was refreshing and flavourful but a tad too much ice and I just went for a pint of Pepsi. And once the dessert came to the table brought by the chef, it tasted as well as it looked. Pricing of the food wasn’t too bad taking location and type of establishment into consideration - and even though I’m not a fan of discretionary service charges - the staff definitely deserved it today . We were seated at a table with standard menus only, and noticed that was being done with other diners too. Fortunately we were aware there's a lunch deal menu and my wife went to get that instead. My wife suggested we head to the nearby Christmas market for churros for dessert, but I insisted we stay put. She ended up getting the dessert menu herself and we ordered the Churros to share. They came without ice cream, so we had to ask for that again, which we received an apology for and were then given strawberry instead of vanilla as that was all they had left. It did seem the one guy who looked like he was in charge was trying to keep it together, but generally it was a bit of a shambles from his crew. Booking is definitely advised with this venue. It was very busy when we arrived and extremely hot inside. It was very noisy, with lots or party groups and hen party, too. It was packed so you definitely should book a table. We shared a mezze of vegan dishes. Falafels which were crispy but light and fluffy inside and perfectly spiced. Hommos silky smooth served with warm flatbread. Batata harra, amazing roast potatoes, crispy, slightly spiced with a kick of chilli. Tabbouleh, so tasty and zesty. Fattoush, a gorgeous salad with mint and crispy pitta bread and finally a garlic and Za'atar flatbread, if you have not tried Za'atar you should, it's a wonderful mix of herbs and it was a taste sensation. We had drinks and it cost around £25 each and we were not hungry when we left. Service was great, very attentive but not pestering. My only critism was there was only one vegan dessert on offer, vanilla ice cream so we did not bother. We would definitely return and highly recommend. Great for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters.

I tried quite many Thai food as it’s one of my favorite cuisine but it’s actually quite hard to find the right Pad Thai. Noodle was just cooked right and sauce was just perfect. We started with a drink and snacks in the bar. Nothing massively grabbed me from the cocktail menu but I enjoyed the gin cocktail I chose. The crab custard snack and the scallop tart were really excellent. We had the tasting menu - everything was beautiful, lots of great umami flavours which I love. We weren't shown a menu for the wine flight or offered it which made us think we may find it disappointing so opted to sharw a bottle od wine instead. We were recommended a chilled red which is bottled locally and again this was really good. We had a glass of a lovely dessert wine with our sweet courses which we both loved and paired well. Standouts for me were the pickle tray (popadom pickle tray flavours served with a sorbet in a lime), fruit and nut 1926 (chocolate lovers heaven) and the cheese course which was stunning. Service was good and attentive, we didn't have to think about a thing. We had relaxed and chatty service from two of our waiting staff, others seemed to be newer/less confident and less chatty/able to talk about the food. This didn't put us off but just didn't quite match the quality of the food. Overall we had a really special and memorable experience, would recommend for a special occasion. We would love to return.

We didn’t have a reservation but were seated without much of a wait. For starters, we had the lamb chops – they were to die for! Juicy, succulent, and absolutely packed with flavour. For mains, we ordered Butter Chicken with naan and Chicken Jalfrezi. The Jalfrezi was marked as a 3-chilli dish but the spice was just right if you enjoy a bit of heat. The Butter Chicken was cooked to perfection – rich, creamy, and with just a hint of spice. All food is Halal. The naan was soft, fluffy, and thick — portions are generous, so it’s worth ordering less to start with! The staff were amazing – we had a gentleman serving us all evening who was very friendly and attentive (wish we’d caught his name). Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was smooth and efficient. It’s a smaller venue and can get a bit noisy, but it has a lovely family-friendly atmosphere. We’re not from Birmingham (we came down for the day), but we’d definitely visit again next time we’re in the area!

Never have i had to queue to get in to a cafe, but the wait wasnt too long. A cosy welcoming little cafe seems family run and the staff are very nice and friendly. We opted for the Full breakfast at £14.95, with 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 poached eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and 2 toast, you are able to have omelette instead of the poached eggs. They have an extensive menu and watching all the different food coming out, all of which looke delicious. Our breakfast certainly hit the spot before we went shopping and all the ingredients were fresh and good quality, my wife commented that her sausages were the best she had in ages. A very nice little old school cafe which is well worth a visit. Not many of these quaint cafes left. The only reason i gave 4 stars was i dont like mushrooms or tomatoes.

There was a huge spread with everything from paneer to chicken to fish. They were very accommodating and even dished up some vegetarian dishes. I like most of the chicken and fish dishes. Poppadoms and drinks order taken within a minute of being seated. On their recommendation we tried the Goodie box starter which was delicious. Our main courses were of a similar quality, full of flavour and piping hot. The complimentary dessert was a nice touch,the chocolate brownie was 👌🏻 The staff here know their jobs very well and make a great team, being courteous and friendly no matter how busy the restaurant was.

Nice touch fresh flowers on the tables.Table cloths,always nice to see. Staff dealt very well with doing separate bills in a group of thirty. The food was absolutely delicious, the seafood pasta was full of flavour, the ravioli was buttery and comforting, and the fried seafood platter was super fresh and crispy. My partner had booked after reading good things including that a dedicated gluten free menu was available ( I'm gluten intolerant ) Although the restaurant is a little away from the main centre it was easy to find. We booked ahead to be sure. We also requested a certain type of seat loacation and mentioned in the booking it was our anniversary. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who wished us a happy antiviral which was lovely. Then she talked to us about the kind of table we needed. She couldnt help us enough. The waitress on our table was great too. Nothing was any trouble. All our queations got answered, and the food was hot and fresh. Social distancing was adhered too and masks were worn by everyone.
