The tex mex nachos had loads of jalapeños, no sour cream or refried beans (these were vegetarian) and too little salsa and guacamole. Mozzarella sticks were ok. The burger was good though with lots of fries. They charge for water. They have vegetarian and vegan options. Overall bill about £30

My husband loves the hot dog they sell in Jollibee in the Philippines and never had a problem with that but for whatever reason, everytime we get a hot dog here, its still frozen in the middle! Cant they cook it properly? I get the tender juicy is most likely frozen but a couple more minutes on the pan isnt too much to ask for! Whats worse is on our recent visit, not only is the sausage frozen but there were rock hard clumps of material in it. The best I can describe it is looking like rock sugar but its not rock sugar because it wasnt sweet and it didnt melt away like sugar. (I couldnt take a picture because we were in the middle of eating and my hands were greasy from the chicken). This time, he went up and told them there were unknown materials in the hot dog....they did kindly replace it but again, the hot dog was frozen...I don't know why he keeps giving the hot dog a chance. This is probably the worst Jollibee restaurant I've been to. London and Edinburghs Jollibee's are better but its a shame that the one in Cardiff is closer to where I live so if I were craving some childhood goodness, I'd have to go to Cardiff where the place looks grotty and they cant even cook the hot dogs properly.

It did not disappoint. There’s a very manageable lineup outside, and you get your order in, in under 10 minutes. We were here with our kids. We decided to eat in. The dine in spot is very basic. But the food was very good, especially for the price. One of my favourite things about this place is it seems less corporate shill than many other places. I’m so glad that I did because what fantastic pizza! The pizza was cooked to perfection and full of flavour and all of the menu was reasonably priced. This time wow soooo bad. Ordered a large fish he charged me for a small because it was a small piece, put it this way I've had bigger sardines. For some reason there were 7 people behind the counter but thats by the by. Ordered my food and the guy said they dont take card, which is weird but okay. I told them I didnt have my card since im staying at the hospital. The guy said if I have contactless on my phone, he could take my phone in the back and take the payment. I wasn't gonna hand my phone to a stranger to take to a back room and mysteriously take my payment (you need your fingerprint to make contactless payments) and its completely unethical to even ask that. I work as a fraud investigator and this comes up as a huge red flag for me. Taking someone's phone to a back room is dodgy as it is but writing the orders down on some graphite paper and taking bank payments screams fraud/money laundering/Unreported sales. Ordered £30 worth of food, and it was delivered slightly warm, over cooked, stale and as if left over food had been reheated by being chucked back in the fryer again! Either that or their oil is not changed regularly by the look and colour of it all. Cod was non existent missing the actual fish and was just rock hard batter (tiny) scampi was tiny pieces inside a load of Breadcrumbs and the chips... well as you can see by the photos. How they think this is ok to box up and send out to a paying customer is beyond! I was faced with a very rude sarcastic staff member on the phone whilst I tried to complain about this.
