I stopped at this one and decided to sit down and eat. Oh goodness was that bread TOUGH. I couldn’t eat my sandwich like a sandwich. At the end of eating as I didn’t want to waste my food my mouth was hurting. I thought maybe it was just mine but it was an overall experience for my friends who I was eating there with. They had different menu items that all were served with different breads and their bread was tough. I wouldn’t want to insinuate but although it didn’t taste stale the bread had that lack of moisture as if left out for more than 1-2 days to harden up. The reason for my rate was that and honestly it tasted very good but that bread being nearly impossible to eat is what did it for me. I love their pies as they’re small, well priced and delicious! This isn’t the end all be all. I still would want to give the food another chance. Like I said very tasty just hard to eat.

My bf and I are on a mission to try every sandwich at Beyond Bread. Today we started with one I’ve had multiple times and it never disappoints. I am not a vegetarian but I love veggie based sandwiches. The Bailey’s Beet is one of the best I’ve had. Beautiful, fresh greens, cucumbers, sliced beets, an herby goat cheese spread, balsamic drizzle; all on their delicious house-made focaccia. Today, even though it’s not soup weather in Tucson, we got it with a side of the tomato basil soup (insert chef’s kiss)! If you have a chance, give this a try! We saw on the website they have a punchcard for kids to find hidden Star Wars figurines all through out the restaurant so we thought it would be fun to go. The food was really good and well prepared, props to the kitchen. The hotdog was good, but did not blow my mind like the other items -- I think I should have went for that Shanghai Dog as that actually looks reallllllly good. We took a chunk of the food home and it reheated incredibly well in the air fryer. We will be back, not sure when since it is a hike for us but it was SO worth the drive.

The fried food (we tried tots and fries) were absolutely on point but the rest of it was just another burger with a catchy name. The restaurant is themed around famous serial killers which could be kind of cool if you're into that and everything was clean. The young lady at the window was a perfect customer service ambassador! My better half grew up in California and when she saw In-N-Out demanded we go there. It was a long line but but I figured it must be good if people were willing to sit in the line. I was in the mood for a chicken sandwich and after consulting their menu, it seemed it would be representative of the restaurant as it is made with three fingers and the secret sauce. I came tonight specifically because my sons school was having a fund raising event. I placed my order on the mobile app for a CURBSIDE pickup which indicated on the website that all I needed to do was proceed to a designated parking spot and click I'm here and a member of the team would run out my order to me.... you know like every other restaurant. They asked to charge another $1.00 for those tobe added on top. It was thick mashed beans. Got a whole tuna sandwich which I asked to be cut in three pieces. They did cut it BUT they cut the sandwich with the paper so pieces of paper used to wrap the sandwich were in the sandwich. Because this happens often not just here I was disappointed once I saw the sandwich cut this way. Only half the sandwich had enough tuna on it, the other half barely any, and the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles barely covered the sandwich also. Paid $18 and some change for one sandwich so I don't think it's worth the money ESPECIALLY the little small chilli cup. I rarely come here and I know exactly why. No more eegees for me. Last original grinder sandwich I ordered before this came out sloppy and soggy. I would suggest checking the food before leaving or just don't bother coming here.

Best surprise food I’ve EVER had. We got the peach berry eegee and it’s delicious. The texture is like a roughly shaved snowball so you’ll need a spoon. The original sandwich with grinders tastes unique and VERY savory. The bread reminds me French bread or bolillo. The large chipotle ranch fries are to die for as well and they put the perfect amount of sauce. All of this only cost me $11 too. There is a walk up window however they only have outdoor seating. They do have a drive through for really hot days fortunately.

I was very impressed with the super speedy service and kind service. Furthermore, the food was da freaking bomb. I've been to A LOT of late-night drive-thru Mexican restaurants that all remind me of each other. However, Paco's stands out. I ordered combination plate number one, which comes with a beef taco, cheese enchilada, refried beans and rice. As soon as I got the food the aroma took over my entire car and I had to control every bit of me to not dig in while behind the wheel. The minute I got to by Airbnb, I didn't even bother unloading the car. I ran straight inside, sat at my table and ate away. It was SO GOOOOOD, especially the beef taco. It was super flavorful, and stuffed with delicious, slow cooked meat. The cheese enchilada was amazing as well, dipped in both red and green sauces which I was generously provided. All around Paco's did me good and I would gladly return!

Well today was the day…. I ordered Catfish and shrimp and chicken wings. The fish was actually catfish but fried in burnt oil or just cooked way too long. The only flavor to the fish was a burnt flavor that was overwhelming. Shrimp was decent but lacked the right seasoning. Chicken wings were hard and over cooked lemon pepper and garlic parm wet in the same oil as they cooked them in! Over all it’s a shame because they have the potential to be an awesome place but the love for what is coming out of that kitchen is lost or never had to begin with!
