I do love the smoothies and bialys however today I stopped to try something different and my Honest review: Island burger: 3/10 - the burger patty was thick but lacked in over all flavor what made up for it was the bbq sauce super yum, but the “grilled onions” are a few pieces of chopped red onion under the cheese and heated up in like a microwave. Also the bacon was limp and unappetizing then they top It off with canned pineapple chunks. I would avoid this selection. Finally I always get a juice but they changed over from fresh juice to bottled which I’m not mad just prefer the fresh as advertised. Over all though staff is amazing they are just cutting corners on the food and it is starting to show. Gave 4 stars because the staff is amazing!

She was excited, caring, helpful, and such a pleasure as 'the face of the business', with it being our 1st time ever trying Portillo's! He’s a great ambassador for this Rubio’s. But there are still some issues after the change of ownership. We ordered 2 quesadillas, one shrimp and one chicken. We got them quickly which is a great improvement over the last owners. But both were only 3/4 filled. The outside inch of each was just tortilla. There was an adequate amount of chicken but there were only two shrimp on three of the four pieces. That made for several bites of cheese only quesadilla. The salsa bar was clean and well stocked. Ordered 2 burgers with added bbq sauce - both came without bbq sauce on them One burger had a piece of hard debris in it that nearly broke a tooth. Anyone that says in & out is better is wrong in my opinion (lesser quality meat and less flavor). Love this food... Wish we had one in North Dakota! The fries are also very good. This place reminded of quality, good burgers from a old time burger stand. The whatachicken was also very good! Loved the whatasauce on the sandwich and the chicken was great (high quality and cooked great) and the bunny was also good. Enjoyed our stop.

I was travelling and it was sort of a meh experience all in all. Like nearly everywhere, prices have gone nuts. Well over $10 for a breakfast sandwich, single hash brown patty, and a medium drink. Jack in the Box used to offer a better value than other places I think. Didn't see that this time. Food was good. Only other complaint was that the staff at the window at this time and location was really difficult to understand due to her super-heavy accent over the ordering speaker. The chicken looked almost like tofu, kind of grayish in color. It tasted as bland as it looked. Just a terrible salad.
