I'm not from the area, just visiting family. I have a local award winning fish & chips shop where I live which has received awards for their food. I was extremely impressed by the food here. The table service was not the best, I think the person was new to it as some basic mistakes were made but they will improve over time. Then on my second visit with the family we decide to dine in,at the immaculate restaurant. There was a considerable variety of dishes available to suit most taste and dietary requirements and a good children's menu with a drink & ice cream included. I decided to try the fish pie even though I don't like smoked fish but I was glad I did, as it was delicious, my partner tried the steak pie which he said" was the best he had tasted in a while!". Yes I agree with others on it being a little pricey but I wouldnt call the food here the your average chip shop standard and I like that it is locally sourced, so for me I am happy to pay that little more and know I am getting good quality food that's also supporting other local businesses. This time I had loaded fries which is a hot cheese sauce on peri fries with sour cream as my extra, a 9"double up pepperoni with cheese and extra salami, the meat was really good and the sauce of the pizza was better than some pizzas places i've been to, two garlic mayo pots to dip and i didn't realise that when you order a pizza you get a free garlic bread, i can't remember if it comes with a pizza aswell which ill have for lunch the next day. Service is always welcoming and delivery is spot on. My total was £18 in total. One thing i might add is the fries could of done with a little extra cooking which is why its not 5 stars but i didnt really mind at this time because it made them feel like a sloppy fries with the melted cheeae and sour cream. All in all definitely my go to takeaway from now on. Oh and their chicken is top quality. Peace.

I had a special offer on my subway app so I decided to redeem it. The sandwich artist on looking at my order said it was actually cheaper to take advantage of their offer which was a footlong for £5 if bought after 4pm.
