Reasonably priced food. We had the wings which were really good, I had a burger which was cooked the way I like and my daughter had the Macaroni and cheese which she loved. We ended with homemade cheesecake and ice cream. The staff were very friendly and efficient, making for an enjoyable visit. It was our 1st time there and if ever in the area again we will be popping in. Even though we arrived around 5.30pm the restaurant was very quiet but by 6pm it was very busy, but everyone was getting the same quality of food and excellent service.

One of the reasons we chose this place was the wide range of gluten-free options, as one of us has coeliac disease. From start to finish, we were more than happy with everything we ordered. In the photo, you’ll see two Double Deluxe Burgers served with rosemary salted fries, and a side of onion rings. The burgers come with 10oz of beef, which we absolutely loved — super satisfying and generous with the meat-to-bun ratio, so you leave full without feeling like you’ve eaten mostly bread. The gluten-free burger got a special shoutout from my mum who has coeliac — the bun was one of the fluffiest gluten-free burger buns we’ve ever seen or tasted. We also tried the gluten-free Free State Dog, which was phenomenal. I’m already planning to come back, and when I do, I’m definitely ordering the hot dog again. The onion rings were so good that I honestly wished they came in a gluten-free version too — everyone should get to taste that. To finish off, the three of us shared the Choc Peanut Butter Sundae. After a short wait at the entrance, we were offered a choice of where to sit, which was appreciated. Once seated, we were given menus, though we did have to catch our server's attention after a little wait to let them know we were ready to order. We came in this evening and the food was lovely. Sadly there was a long wait between starters and mains and we did leave without dessert as we waited quite a while for our server to come back but I can see he was rushed off his feet so it’s understandable. The only comment I’d like to add is it would be great if when ordering extra garlic butter it came with the dough balls as unfortunately today we missed out and it was then brought over after the starters had been eaten so it was essentially wasted. The goods arrived much quicker than we anticipated. My wife got a margarita which was enormous and I got a Chicago deep dish which was also very substantial. We also got some garlic bread. Both pizzas were excellent. The margarita was thin and crispy with nice flavour. I’ve only had Chicago one other time and both have been amazing! Very filling so a full pizza could easily serve 2-3 normal people but I am not normal and gas it myself. Neither pizza was oily and didn’t feel greasy. The garlic bread was terrible. Been here countless times, as well as other Five Guys locations. They’re all relatively consistent with good quality ingredients, fast service and pretty decent and helpful staff, this one being no exception. Good size restaurant with plenty of seating, especially upstairs. As for the food itself, tastes amazing the first few times but then after that you see past it and realise you’re paying like £30 for 2 burgers, 2 drinks and 1 large fries, as good as they are it’s still fast food and hardly a proper restaurant experience. I will say the burgers are always cooked and assembled perfectly. The fries portions are always very generous, 1 large would be enough for 3 people. Drinks machine is good, a million different flavour combinations to try when they’re all working, free refills too of course. Overall it’s worth going if you’ve never been but not completely worth the price.

The outside of this place has its signs but it doesn't scream to you. It is very subtle which can be a good and a bad thing. Upon arriving it's very cozy and the decor is very comforting. The customer service was astounding and I really appreciate we were allowed to get a booth seat even though there was only two of us. The hygiene of this place is very clean, there's a male and female toilets but you have to go downstairs (at first the lights may be off and may look abit like a horror movie but the lights are sensor-lights). I got a berry smoothie and my friend got a soy-latte, I can say if you love a subtle fruity flavour get the berry smoothie. The food we ordered were the Millionare Fries, Poutine Fries, Lasagne, and the Mushroom, Olive & parmesan Pizza. All the portions were MASSIVE so i'd advised to not order so much unless you're certain you'd be able to eat it all, it felt like even the fries could've filled me up on their own. Millionare Fries - The fries were amazing, you have crispy fluffy fries with the hint of the truffle oil and the parmesian. I really loved the fries and recommend this alot. I personally rate this a 5/5. Poutine Fries - This in its own is unique. I've personally had poutine (and love it) and i can say this veggie twist is really really good. I highly recommend this for any person who likes poutine or is a vegetarian I personally rate this a 4/5. lasagne - The lasagne is topped with a slice of garlic bread and side of .dressed veg. I can 100% that for this dish alone, the lasagne was not the star of it. I personally LOVED the garlic bread AND the vegetables (I rarely eat vegetables provided with my main unless it's exceptional) and I can say I wanted to finish off the vegetables opposed to the lasagne (not saying it's bad, but i think the vegetables on the side were better) I personally rate this a 4/5. Olive, Mushroom, & Parmesian Pizza - I personally don't like olives alone and it's the first time I've eaten it topped on a pizza. Paired with the truffle oil. I felt like the pizza gave off a slightly pungent smell, the taste was unique and first time I've had anything like that, if I had the choice I would personally not have the olives on top (as i'm not too keen on them) but flavour-wise the pizza was extraordinary. I personally give this a 4/5. Overall from customer service, to portion sizes, to value for money. This restaurant is really great and I would recommend here if you want to try something new or you want more choices for vegetarian/vegan food.

Located a stones throw from The Cavern and the famous Matthews Street, down some stairs and in to a semi basement. The kitchen is open and on display at the end of the restaurant. My only complaint was the bowl I was served in was near impossible to eat out of. So deep! At least it slowed me down I guess. Some meat-eaters still think of vegans as long-haired hippies with tie-dyed shirts and this restaurant is trying to break that myth. The service was great with a lovely soft spoken lady desperately trying to look after everyone all on her own. It was a bit odd seeing someone from the kitchen run downstairs with a plastic shopping bag at least three times whilst we were there. The food didn't wow me, unfortunately. It reminded me of pub food but more expensive. We had the lasagne which was alright and a decent portion. The Jungle "Chiang Mai" Curry was average. Nice and spicy, but missing the wow factor (I've been spoilt by eating curries in Chiang Mai and nothing compares with the "real" stuff). The hummus starter was a decent size and we definitely over-ordered and didn't finish the starter which was also a bit on the pricey side. From what I understand, it's a fairly new restaurant so they deserve a chance! Although it's vegan food, there were too many fried options for me, which is fine for anyone who loves that kind of food.

On this occasion it was an obtuse person, very limited in vocabulary even though it was obvious that he spoke English. Despite this the food was good, lovely soft chips albeit a small quantity,but a huge fish with lovely soft batter, the fish was chunky but not as good as before, where it was white and really solid and meaty. I walked into the restaurant and chose Itchi Noodle special, where I said them don't add pork or ham and instead add chicken, but the lady said, 1 pounds extra for any additional item. Asked for the squeeky curds and was told "we no longer do them". Expected to wait about 10 - 15 mins like usual and the food was out in 2 mins which was a red flag. The fries were only half warm, not crispy. Gravy is very different and not in a good way, kinda watery. cheese was fine if abit cold (not enough heat from everything else to melt it and it was kinda just like mozzarella, good pull but abit tastless) and the chicken was soggy before it was even in the gravy and texture was deff a downgrade compared to how it was. Also heard they changed to halal now so most of the meat topping have changed. No problem with adding halal options but changing old favs is bad, the miss piggy poutine with the pulled pork was the best! Place is apperently under new management with the old owners gone. Honestly iv never been more disappointed! And to top it they no longer do the cinnimon buns!! They were the best! Only saving grace was the friendly staff! Change back the menu and the quality or this place wont last much longer!
