The entire premises were well maintained, clean, and neatly arranged—credit goes to the temple authorities and the support of local people. We chose to walk up the steps to reach the temple, and although it was a long climb, the journey was worth every step. It became a beautiful experience, especially with my family. The sightseeing and the artistic wall paintings inside the temple were truly stunning—absolutely captivating. The vibrant colors and cultural richness made our visit feel very special. It was a colorful and spiritually uplifting day that we'll always remember.

My visit to Perur Pattiwarar, one of the oldest and largest temples, was truly an enriching experience. This divine abode is heightened with the sense of tranquility and spiritual aura that it emits. Its intricate architecture leaves you in awe and wonder. The temple not only offers a peaceful sanctity but it also allows you to delve into self-reflection and achieve ultimate solace. It was indeed a very humbling and good experience.

Echanaari Vinayagar Temple in Coimbatore is a blessing. We visited during our trip to Valparai and were fortunate to attend the 6:30 pm pooja. The idol of Vinayagar is impressive, and the aarthi was a treat to witness. However, there was a bit of a rush, so if you're short on time or prefer less crowd, you might want to plan your visit accordingly. The pooja items outside the temple were overpriced; a coconut, two bananas, and no flowers cost ₹120, which seemed steep. Trustees to have temple own shop and provide reasonable price to devotees The temple atmosphere was serene, and the prashadam, Sakarai Pongal, was delicious. Parking was challenging due to the temple's location on the main road. Despite the pricing concerns, we'd recommend visiting with family and friends. Coimbatore residents are indeed lucky to have this temple nearby. Vinayagar Thunai! 🙏

Visited on public holiday (18.04.2025 friday) in summer vacation time. Waiting time for dry games is around 15 to 30 mins (Advisable to play till 11 am in dry games, then water games till 3 pm pm. After that, change your wet clothes and enjoy dry games without waiting time😄 till 5.30 pm). Food was good with reasonable price. And drinking water is also available in many places for free. The place was maintained well and clean during my visit. Cleaning staffs are everywhere and they did a good job. I never expect this cleanliness. Recommended this place to enjoy the summer with family and friends

It was a refreshing experience. Surrounded by the beautiful Anaimalai Hills, the place is full of greenery and peace. This waterfall is part of the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and has been a popular local spot for years. The water flows from around 60 feet and forms a nice natural pool at the bottom where people can enjoy a quick dip. The water was cool and clean, and the sound of the falls was so relaxing. The place is also home to many monkeys – fun to watch, but you have to be careful with your bags and snacks! There's a small parking area, and they have basic changing rooms, though it could be maintained better. One thing to note is that during weekends or holidays, it gets a bit crowded. I heard that in the older days, this was just a hidden local gem, but now it’s a known weekend escape for nearby towns. The entry fee is ₹30 per person, and the best time to visit is just after the monsoon, when the water is flowing beautifully. Overall, it’s a lovely nature spot to relax and unwind with friends or family. A peaceful and natural experience close to Coimbatore.

I recently visited a car museum and had a wonderful time exploring the collection. The highlight for me was seeing a stunning Porsche, an elegant limo, and a sleek Mazda. While I felt that the entry price could have been a bit more…affordable, overall, it was a fine experience. The cars were well-maintained, and the ambiance was pleasant. I’d definitely recommend it to car enthusiasts, just keep the pricing in mind.

I visited this dam, and let's just say it's a real showstopper! The view was stunning, despite the water level being lower than my expectations. The mountains surrounding it were majestic, and we even spotted some elephants swimming on the other side – talk about a trunk-load of fun! But the real highlight was my friend's "historical" account of the dam's construction. Apparently, a bunch of people were buried under it to make it more powerful... or should I say, "dam" powerful? I think my friend was just trying to dam well scare me off! Despite the questionable history, the dam's got a cool play park underneath, making it a great spot for locals. Overall, a solid experience – just don't ask my friend about the "sacrifices" made for its construction!

One of the Hardest Trekking we have done so far. From Bangalore we Boarded Ernakulam SF Intercity Express by 6:20 am at Cantonment Railway Station by 1:00 pm reached Coimbatore Junction. Had Lunch in Aryas Hotel opposite Railway station in Coimbatore. Had good full meals Lunch by Paying Rs. 130/-. In the same line to the right of the Hotel Boarded Bus to Poondi by Paying Rs. 60/- Reached the Velliangiri Foot Hills by 3:00 pm Prayed Lord Ganapathi, Lord Kanakabikai, Goddess Manonmani and Lord Velliangiri Andavar in the Temple. The Temple gives you good vibe so sat in the Temple for a while and proceeded to Climb by 3:45 pm Weather is very hot and Humid. We collected the Sticks which was left by the Trekkers at the entrance, Normally Rs. 30/- are charged for the New one at the counter. First Hill is Very steep which the drains all the energy if we try to walk too fast, we have to walk slowly and take frequent breaks to avoid exhaustion. If you are planning to Trekk Velliangiri carry Electrals with you to avoid Muscle Cramping. 2nd and 3rd Hill are equally challenging even though the Terrain slightly differs, difficult level is the same. At the end of 2nd Hill and 3rd Hill we come across water stream where we can refill the water bottle. Water is very cool and sweet better than any of the commercially packed water. There are many shops on the way which sells Snacks like Karumbatti Coffee, Kamba Cool, Butter Milk, Water Melon, Lemon Soda, Peanuts, Fritters, Buiscuits, Soft Drinks etc., after 3rd Hills shops don’t Sell the water. In the 3rd Hill refill the empty water Bottle. Carry Less Luggage as there are many shops on the way. There is a Cloak room available Behind the Temple where you can put all your unwanted Luggage. Just Carry Water Bottle, Dry Fruits, Light weight Thermal and Cap as it gets colder in the 7th Hills Before the starting of the 7th Hill we come across a water stream in the pool Devotees take a Holy Dip and proceed. Water here is Freezing. When we started climbing 7th Hill it was around 10:15 pm Breeze was strong and chill. Took out our Light weight Thermals and Woolen cap from the Bagpack wore it and proceeded At around 11:40 pm reached the Summit there were few Devotees present at the Top, which enabled us to Have Good Darshan and Pray without any disturbance. After the Darshan did Meditation and rested for some time. By 12:30 pm started the Descend reached the Bottom by 6:30 am Early Morning Devotees are served with Hot Breakfast in Front of the Temple. Annadhanam is done throughout the day for the Devotees in the Temple premises Prasadam can be purchased by paying Rs. 150/- in the shop belonging to the Temple. There are other commercial shops in the Temple Premises Boarded the Ernakulam SF Intercity Express by 12:40 pm at Poddanur, Train Departed the station by 1:15 pm Reached Bangalore by 10:00 pm with unforgettable Experience of the Velliangiri Trek. The next day the Leg Muscles were so sore the we had to keep ice pack. The Trek to be remembered for a long time.
