As I lost substantial number of teeth, I was thinking of going for a comprehensive dental intervention to restore my ability to enjoy normal functioning of teeth and appearance. I approached Dr Ashok Kumar whom I got connected earlier through social media.
I got an appointment, had two or three sittings with him, to find an optimum solution. He was kind enough to spend a lot of time, and we arrived at the best possible solution taking into account several factors such as my jaw structure, bone density, age, overall health etc. He patiently explained the various options. Finally we decided to go for a full mouth dental implant.
Once it was decided, then he rapidly went ahead and submitted me a detailed plan and timeline, somewhere in the month of November 2024. He and his team did the entire implant in 2 to 3 sittings. The procedure was efficient, painless and done with due care. Immediately after the implant, within 2 days he fixed a temporary fixed denture and I could resume full dental functioning so soon.
After giving sufficient time for the integration of implant on the bones, he sat with me for a couple of times for measurements. And within a period of one month, the entire bridges and crowns were made ready, tasted 2 - 3 times and then meticulously and effortlessly he and his team completed the entire task.
Now my dental health and ability to perform normal functions was fully restored and I am looking as good as I was earlier. The entire process was completed in less than 6 months. In the intervening period, barring about 4 or 5 days, I could take my normal diet with some minor restrictions for the entire period.
I am extremely thankful to Dr Ashok Kumar and Sree Sakthi Dental clinic team for improving the quality of my life by their high level professional competence and care.

My experience was not satisfactory.
Went today to a scaling session after calling them and explaining that I’am coming for a scaling procedure.
Initially they gave a one use head- mask, hand and leg gloves. I went in to see the doctor and he asked do you have any problems looking into my teeth for few seconds. I said “nothing and I came just for scaling”. The scaling cost didn’t work out for me so I said the doctor that I will not do it now..
They asked me to pay 300 consultation for the one use stuffs they gave, a few seconds of staring at my teeth and asking a question “do you have any problem with your teeth?”
I said I don’t feel this fair - I clearly spent not even a minute with the doctor but they said we follow protocol and I need to pay. The doctor then called me in and explained “the cost is for the one use stuffs and cleaning of his general instruments” which was opposite to my understanding of consultation. I clearly went in for a scaling and it was not a consultation at all and I walked out of it because of the cost.
The doctor was not rude in his tone nor his assistant. But ethically it wasn’t a consultation at all..
so in case you are going here please think twice.
I Dr. Amsa veni... took both my kids there.. Dr. Ashok was well knowledged and soft spoken.. kids friendly.. both my kids were very comfortable and reported painless throughout the entire procedure. I was much worried when I entered..but everything was different from what I thought. Blindly anyone can go without any hesitation for any of the dental issues.Tagging my kid post procedure.
The clinic is well organised. We have to make appointment so that we dont have to wait when we visit the clinic. The doctor explained things clearly.

In this pandemic era everyone hesitate to step out to go hospitals but in my experience the precautions and the entry level of this clinic is not seen in major hospitals. Expense for masks n gloves which patients can carry after use shows that they are not doing for their safety but for the patients safety. I am quite happy for the best treatment received at a nominal fees compared to costliest one in the surroundings.
The best dental clinic I have had my buccal cavity dented with. Went to remove my wisdom tooth. Dr.Ashok Kumar, soft spoken personality.
He even asked me is it paining after injecting me the third numbness injection. I didn't even feel the pain actually or feel a new object is pierced into my mouth. He patiently removed my wisdom tooth. And to my surprise I received a appointment SMS as soon as I booked. And reminder SMS twice on the day of appointment.
And his follow up after surgery and doubt clarification is simply outstanding and easy to understand and follow.
Will be doing my removal of left side wisdom tooth as well with him only.
Good thing is that we have a ice cream parlour below his clinic itself.

There are five student dining halls, an auditorium, a library, a computer center and a guest house attached to the hostels.The Students Union is the apex body which controls all the aspects of student life including associations, clubs and societies.

The courteous behaviour of the people starting from the security guards, the people at the reception and the professors speak the heritage of the institution. Well maintained ambience is a welcome treat. Plenty of car parking space gives us the extra comfort. Nice place to visit.

Dr Saravanan is one of the excellent and finest dentists in Tamil Nadu. My dad had a dental implantation surgery which spanned over 4-6 months - the service and quality of the treatment was excellent. And the results are absolutely worth the amount spent. He is one of the rarer doctors who actually cares about his patients, listens to the issue carefully and puts in extra efforts to bring satisfying end result to patients. He gives proper explanation to all phases of the treatment plan. Doctor is easy going, friendly to approach and most importantly is technically sound and competent. He is very careful not to overdo any treatment for just aesthetics by compromising the functionality of teeth and suffering from the consequences later. His philosophy is balance between aesthetics and functionality/effectiveness in treatment to have a life long sustainable healthy teeth and gums after treatment.
The appointment system is good and very less waiting time (5-15 mins). The cleanliness in the clinic is applaudable ! Most high tech equipments are available including 3D scanner i-tero. Later learned that Dr. Saravanan is one of the top doctors in CBE for Invisalign treatment, holding platinum service rank in Invisalign. Dr. Kathir is the most humble, dedicated doctor I've ever met and is really an expert in the dental field.
He's one of the few doctors I've ever met who patiently explains about the problem and the possible solutions. I would say major part of his treatment is his kind and detailed discussion with the patient. I'm so thankful for that and even wonder how he manages to do that.
I've visited so many dental clinics to find the root cause of my cavity which happened from inside and broke open one day but nowhere could I get an explanation. He explained in single shot the root cause of my issue which is my unawareness of flossing while having a nearby crown already. He gave detailed explanations of how dental contours get affected and why flossing is necessary.
He explained in single shot all the existing problems and other potential problems with my teeth. He highly insists on preventive care and educates the patient on preventive measures. I have no words to appreciate him for that but be thankful that I found him.
I would highly recommend Kathir Dental Clinic and Dr.Kathir for anyone in Coimbatore and even from outside. I would also like to request Dr. Kathir if he could start a YouTube channel where he could educate the people on dental care. It would be a great awareness for people about preventive care and equally bring more awareness to people about such a great clinic in Coimbatore.

I am actually out of words in writing this review. I usually write reviews in a jiffy but for this i had to take time to write. Me and my friends' experiences with Dr.kathir is to a point where I felt guilty visiting another doctor in Palani as i couldn't make it to coimbatore in time. He is the most humble, straight forward, dedicated guy you could get treated for any dental issues. We even paid the fee one week late when we were students. The major portion of the treatment will be him explaining in detail what the problem is and the variety of solutions. No hidden costs, no extra procedures will be pushed to you than what's needed. You could get treated here with atmost confidence that there won't be any slack in performance from his side. My friend and I just spent an hour talking about possible treatments for a problem in his tooth due to an accident. Overall you will get best experience for dental care with Dr.kathir. I feel this review is over the top but i also think it is justified based on my experience.
What else than a 5 star for I have gotten a super fantabulous experience, treated from Kathir Dental Care? Being 24 years, I had a wisdom tooth growing recently and the pain sucks very much. It was so severe. Since I couldn't control the pain and as I am new to the place, after seeing the google reviews I met Dr. Kathir. He examined my tooth and found my actual problem for which I suffered. I went through really an easy-peasy Root canal treatment then, you wouldn't trust, its damn a pain-free one for me except the multiple times I traveled to the hospital (It was again fun though as the Doctor has become more like a very good friend). Initially I was literally scared, because it was the first time I got troubled with a tooth problem and I have seen my Mom suffering as hell during her Root Canal treatment in other dental unit. But Dr. Kathir made it so very comfortable and drove the panic out of me. He is very much dedicated, so keen towards and finishes off the work only when he is totally satisfied, He treats clients like his own family and takes a special care every time. He gave me the confidence and eventually a new life to my tooth at a very low and affordable cost. Am super happy now, I have found the right place!!
Apart from the treatment, he also gave me a lot of inputs and suggestions for a better teeth life and also health, apparently a way to keep the doctor away.

I've been seeing this doctor for over seven+ years, and what stands out to me is their attentive listening and thorough analysis before recommending the best course of action. For instance, once my tooth was decayed, and instead of immediately suggesting a root canal like other dentists might have, this doctor opted to try filling first. They assured me that if filling didn't work, a root canal could be considered. Fortunately, the filling was successful, saving both my tooth and expenses by this "hero"!
I tried to see the doctor last week and even got a call from the doctor also, but due to an emergency, I had to travel back to Chennai.

When we were told by three big hospital paedodentists that our little grandson, aged 3 years, will have 2 extractions, 2 root canals, two capping and even the molars will need filling-capping AND that the whole procedure will require GA and hospitalisation, we were very worried. By God's guidance and Grace, through a friend we came to know of Dr Padmanabhan. He befriended my grandson in no time, made him comfortable and did the whole procedure without anaesthesia, in 3 sittings, with full cooperation from my grandson, each time. There was never a moment of pain or fear in my baby. Each time we returned for the appointment, we thought that he might hesitate to cooperate. But, the friendly painless treatment given by the doctor, encouraged baby to trust the Doctor. It was such a relief for us and his parents.

Worst experience ever.Doctor Ajay is very money minded and also careless while treatment.During teeth implantation some mistakes happen with doctors assistant meenatchi and the doctor Ajay tried to hide it well . The cost told for implantation of single teeth was maximum 30k - 40k but then they charged 45k .If u have a lot money just to waste with this clinical visit then u can absolutely go for it.
The dental assistant (person with the suction) was extremely unprofessional. The junior doctor who treated me struggled with him as he was not disciplined - that lead to her being constantly annoyed and distracted which resulted in a poor treatment (still unresolved as I'm abroad). They were calling him Pandey (assuming that's his name). If he is around better ask for a different assistant. I am not sure why Dr.Ajay is tolerating him. I visited the clinic multiple times during my visit to India last time and I noticed the doctors getting annoyed with this guy on multiple occasions. Their appointments are not punctual - poor reception job. But I regularly visit this clinic for all my dental issues as I feel Dr.Ajay and his clinic facilities are good. If they can fix these important issues - it will get better.
Dr Ajay is really a kind and down to earth person. When I took my dad, he fell in car parking and got hurt in his palm, bleeding. Dr Ajay himsoef attended did first aid and ttok a look at dental stuff.
My family and I have been visiting the clinic for years now. It’s very clean and spacious. The staff and doctors are super nice, friendly and really qualified. There’s no question about quality of service, any issues are promptly solved. They regularly follow up with phone calls to see how you’re doing. Dr. Ajay is always around and is always ready with a joke to make you feel comfortable!

Very filthy and unhygienic. The waiting room was filled with millions of insects. No one seemed to care about it. The bathroom had no handwash or soap. There were no sanitizers anywhere to be found. How can a medical center exist without these basic hygiene necessities? Then, the doctor asked us to take some tests at a center which was also very filthy, with no handwash in the bathroom. The place where they wanted us to take a blood test was filled with millions of insects. Imagine throwing your hand around as a reflex when some insect sits on it while the syringe is inside your hand, leading to some serious damage. All of this was very concerning, and I decided not to continue here (I was supposed to come back the next day). I decided to just go to a proper hospital after this.
Visited this hospital based on one of the doctor whom we visit often. Went there to get reports reviewed by Chezlian doctor. People who go there I would better suggest no to visit this person. He works in Ramakrishna and also HOD. He is busy in other hospital and visit Nalavind based on his availability. You need to visit Nalavind 2hours before and wait for another 2hours to meet him. He will come in tensed mode and behave very rude to clients. There is no kindness in him. He suggested to take some test and based on that test he said no problem as of now but there is some issue. He couldn’t even identify a problem first. He just says all good but something wrong. What is that wrong , he will not know. Better to avoid this guy and go to someone who is kind and put words in positive way rather than throwing all negativity.
