Our recent visit offered a delightful culinary experience, marked by some truly standout dishes alongside a couple that didn't quite hit the mark. For starters, we began with Prawns Fry and Poricha Kozhi. The Poricha Kozhi proved to be a decent choice, arriving in a generous quantity that made it a satisfying start to the meal. Unfortunately, the Prawns Fry was a notable disappointment, failing to impress with its flavor or preparation. The main course, however, brought significant redemption. The Bun Paratha paired with Mutton Curry was an absolute highlight. The Bun Paratha was exceptionally scrumptious, easily ranking among the best I've had to date – its soft, fluffy texture was simply divine. The Chicken Kothu Parotta was also a solid, decent option, providing a comforting and flavorful experience. To conclude our meal, we indulged in the Ice Beeda for dessert, which proved to be a good and refreshing finish. The overall dining experience was very good. The exceptional Bun Paratha and Mutton Curry, combined with the decent Poricha Kozhi and satisfying Ice Beeda, made for a memorable meal. This establishment certainly has its culinary strengths, particularly in its main course offerings.

Visited for a weekday late lunch. Food was excellent. Tried tandoori and barbecue chicken for starters. Tandoori was okayish, but barbeque chicken has to be the must try. Slightly sweet and tangy masala with juicy chicken cooked to perfection. Also tried their prawns dry cooked in hettinad style which was decent. For mains, we went with white rice with fish gravy. Service was very humble and polite. Restroom could be an issue as there is only one washroom each for men and women. Price is on the expensive side but there were no compromises in taste and quality. Parking space is limited had to park by the road.

Haribhavanam is about food and not about ambience nor catch-ups. You go there for the awesome biriyani, fish fry and mutton varuval (Tamizh style). You want other cuisines, then you are in the wrong place. Make sure you go there hungry because the food is exceptionally tasty. However, be ready to be asked to vacate the table as soon as you are done. That was quite a unique experience for me because I have never been told (albeit politely) to leave 🤣. The place has limited parking and is on a busy road. However, is quite centrally located.

Worst Non veg meals i had . Only gravy provided with meals. (fish gravy was bearable). It shouldn't be counted as a meals. Also chicken 65 was fine but barely any quantity for price. Mint lime was perfect though. It's just a hype place. No good service. They don't care if we need any sides etc.

Prawn Chettinad and Kallan Milagu Varuval: These dishes had excellent flavor and were cooked well. Chicken Nuggets: Unfortunately, these were disappointing. The nuggets were overly large, which made them chewy and unappealing. Desserts: Kunafa: It was just okay. The texture was too hard and didn’t provide the melt-in-your-mouth experience you’d expect. Nungu Payasam: A good choice – light and enjoyable. Shahi Tukda: Decent in flavor, but the bread wasn’t properly soaked in malai, which affected the texture. Caramel Gustard: This dessert was enjoyable with a unique flavor profile. Mud Pie with Ice Cream: This was the biggest letdown – the flavors didn’t work, and the dish was poorly executed. Other Recommendations: Indian breads and gravies were consistent highlights.Pasta dishes were also impressive and worth trying. Overall Experience While the food had its moments, there were a few disappointments with overcooked or poorly executed dishes, especially in the dessert section. The pricing feels a bit steep considering the quality. If you visit, I recommend sticking to the Pepper Prawn, Indian breads, gravies, and pasta. However, skip the Chicken Nuggets and Mud Pie with Ice Cream. Suggestions The restaurant could work on refining some of its dishes, particularly the desserts and soups, to elevate the dining experience. Improving the seating arrangement for more comfort would also be a big plus. Despite its shortcomings, the experience was enjoyable, thanks to the lovely ambiance and some standout dishes.

I used to actually like Bird on Tree. But the quality of the place (ambience-wise) has dipped significantly since the first couple of times I’ve been there (probably 2019) — when I was actually impressed with the place (maybe you’re easily impressed when you’re younger?). I went back in Dec, 2023 — and, boy, did I find the place a tad gross (although the food was fine). It clearly needs better maintenance and better upkeep. To iterate, the food was good (bordering on great), but the ambience disappointed. Not the “fine dining” I expected :(

Good Service and Quantity Went on for an official party. The food is good and the quantity is also more matching to the price. Budget of each variety is exceeding Rs.200/-. Service is also good. For Couples/ Family outside seating is also available. On that day we had an offer of 50% for 4 Pax. More varieties of Non veg. We have to ask how the taste will be before ordering, since many names are not recognizable. Overall its good for Office parties or Families to spend more for a special occasion with fulfillment.

Comprehensive menu.. Good service. Great view of the huge banyan tree at the opposite side property when we opt for the first floor sit out area.. As for the food, wonder whether the names actually match the dishes that arrive on plate. For example fish tempura came as a baked dish, more Italian than Japanese. And for roasted lamb rack.. wish there was more meat on the bone and the gravy had more zest to it. Chicken, prawn and prawn tikkas were succulent and we'll made.

Had lunch at Bird on Tree after a few recommendations in Coimbatore. It's cozyly nestled amongst trees and foliage with birds tweeting all the time. Labelled "Fine Dining", it's nothing close to it. Was gobsmacked by the food but the pricing was big-ticket. The staff were attentive patient and courteous. A gratifying place to spend time with family and friends.

We have to ask for each and everything like, spoon for fried rice, spoon to serve item, raitha was not served, we have to wait for long to get it served and even pepper for omlet, before it comes the main item becomes cool down. Service should improve and they should know what all things to be served with the required food. Otherwise taste is good.

I am a vegetarian and asked by someone to join for dinner. Was making sure I was served with only VEG curry. Garlic gravy and butter gravy are veg curry offered here. While eating, found a chicken piece in the gravy. When asked they said the sometimes it gets mixed. Someone in kitchen might do that. Not satisfied with the answer. Its my fault choosing it. Stopped eating and writting the review. Veg eaters please beware.

The ambience is truly lovely—elegant and welcoming—but we did notice a few mosquitoes, which slightly affected our comfort. The grilled chicken dishes, while freshly prepared, tasted quite similar across recipes and didn’t particularly stand out in terms of flavor. A delightful birthday cake was provided as part of the celebration, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Overall, it was a pleasant evening with attentive service and a warm atmosphere. Ok, I'm coming back to this place after 15years. Afghan grill has been my most favorite restaurant ever since it existed. But I mean after fifteen years , I felt something was totally off with the food. I remember this place being totally different and now it's done up really well. Both my parents and I have digestive issues after last night's dinner. Food however is presented well, but otherwise I miss the Afghan grill for what it was.

The dishes are great. I wouldn't say they are exceptional. The service doesn't disappoint. They take care of your every needs and concerns. The atmosphere is decent, but beware of mosquitos in the evening. They can ruin your night.

Had an amazing experience at Valarmathi Mess! The mutton urundai was a standout—perfectly spiced, juicy, and full of flavor. Honestly, every single dish we tried was packed with flavor and felt like true home-style cooking. The place has a no-frills vibe, but the food speaks for itself. You can tell they care about what they serve. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m in Coimbatore. A friend from Coimbatore recommended this place, so we decided to try it out. The highlight of the meal was the mutton ball. It was absolutely heavenly, crispy and brown on the outside, yet succulent, juicy, and melt-in-the-mouth on the inside. Truly excellent. The mutton biryani was also good. The mutton itself was very flavorful and well cooked, while the rice was decent. I’ve had better biryanis elsewhere, but this one still held its ground. Unfortunately, the chicken starters were disappointing. I tried two different ones and did not enjoy either. I could sense something was off with the chicken, though I couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was. The prawns starter was even worse in fact, one of the worst prawns dishes I’ve ever had. On the brighter side, the parotta was obviously good, as expected. Overall, the meal ended up being below average. The mutton ball was outstanding, the biryani was good, but the chicken and prawns were a real letdown.

I had mutton biryani(₹290), mutton kola(₹35) and chicken pallipalayam(₹200). The biryani was good. It had soft 2-3 mutton pieces and a good flavored rice. The kola was also really good. It was crispy, meaty and spicy. The chicken pallipalayam was decent in taste. Overall a pretty good experience. The waiters and employees seem to show slight class divide and treat some customers alone with an extra bit of respect and care. This could be avoided.

Amazing food! Such an adorably cute place. Everything we ate was excellent. We had Brie wrapped in filo, grilled beet goat cheese salad, fried chicken burger, veg pot pie and the sticky toffee pudding. The only issue we faced was that there was no pizza on available on the day we went and one of our party especially wanted a pizza so that was a bummer.

Went here as a big group and tried so many things! The cheese fondue was good and surprising! The pizza was good but the pastas were really good! The desserts were okayish but everyone enjoyed it. Service was good and staff were polite. Food did take time to reach the table as we were a huge group!

An old bangalaw converted to a beautiful quaint restaurant. Food was delightful and yummy. We had the aranchini, baked brie and mangoe cheesecake and we loved it. The pastry chef Manikandan , he is so creative and such beautiful presentation. Totally recommend this place .

Food is good and ambience is great. They have a unique take in few dishes such as Cajun Potata pizza. Bruschetta is good, Bao was okay, Cajun potata pizza was unique, Mangalore Buns are worth a try. Cheesecake is delicious. Veg options are less compared to non-veg. If they could increase the options then it would be great.

Visited on 29/APR/25 The food was delicious but nothing amazing, could have been better. The pasta was undercooked and felt too much salty. The quantity of food was a bit on the lower side or it’s overpriced. The ambience was admirable exactly like eating in some french house but feels a bit too small, expected to be more spacious

Visited for dinner and the parking was full with a very crowded atmosphere. Among the various dishes, I liked their lemon chicken and lemon mushroom both tasted really good. However, nothing else impressed me. The prices are on the higher side and the service was just okay. In terms of dining, they offer both inside and outside options, we chose the inside, but it was extremely noisy due to the crowd. Overall, it's an okay place, but the dish prices are on the higher side.

Good restaurant with vairety of dishes. The place has nice ambiance during evening hours. Located a bit inside from highway. The place seems to be located inside a community. Food was good when last visited but recently my colleagues went and had an entirely different opinion that the items were bad and they didn't like it. Parking is available for 4 wheelers.

Nice place to have dinner with family and friends. The dishes were okay, but the desserts and beverages were very expensive. They didn’t even have the most common fresh juices, instead, they had options like cucumber and carrot juice, which were also quite costly for the meagre quality. The ambience was good. However, the security staff were somewhat rude to customers. The serving staff were polite and took good care of orders.

What really disturbed me was there were are a number of cockroaches where there is outdoor dining and when we mentioned it to the guy serving he just quashed it with his foot and pushed it away as if it was normal. A normal place for lunch and dinner. Has out door seating and looks good. Taste is 3/5 ., Quantity is 3/5. Service was fast.Nothing much to say as it was just a normal experience. Nothing extraordinary for me to try it out again. Has decent car and two wheeler arking parking area.

Had my dinner here. Food was good, and it was little spicy to an end compared to other branches. I popped in around late 9pm. The hotel timings seemed to end towards 10. The ambience is quite average - that too being in a prime location. I think they could work on it. The snack bar here is really awesome, you could get some quick bites and some awesome coffees/tea. The spot is beautiful too. Mushroom roast is a must try here!

Anandhas in RS Puram, Coimbatore, has pricing comparable to Annapurna, but unfortunately, the taste does not meet expectations. I ordered the Mini Meals, priced at 115 rupees, and found it to be totally worthless. The portion sizes do not justify the cost, and the flavors were underwhelming. For the quality and quantity offered, Anandhas should consider reducing their prices to provide better value for their customers. Overall, there is significant room for improvement in both taste and pricing strategy.

It is in a very prime location but needs a lot of improvement on interior. A lot of people throng to them and a lot of service done. But they have to improve the ambience reasonably as well.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Kites Cafe, and it was a wonderful experience. The cake was scrumptious, the decorations were lovely, and the cheese toast was a highlight.

The staff there are incredibly welcoming, humble, and kind. The vanilla thickie shake and pizza are delicious, although the chicken popcorn was just okay. The ambiance is warm and inviting. While I appreciate the quality, I found the prices to be a bit higher than expected. In the past, they seemed more reasonable.

A very special and a bigger restaurant, which is situated in Peelamedu. They do offer a lot of varieties of vegetarian items both in South Indian and North Indian. As the hotel is very big enough, even though it’s very crowded, you will not feel that. Then not only provide rice and white items, but also they provide other healthy food items to especially ragi food items in Dosa & Puttu. They also provide chat items as well as deserts and juices. The food seems to be very fresh when you are having and also they are providing varieties of chutneys for the food items. They are also having counter for sweets as well as juices. Another Ad is there very big parking lot, which is one of the most difficult thing that you can see in Coimbatore.

A good Pure Veg famous upscale restaurant having many branches in Tamil Nadu and in other countries. The ambiance is good for fine dining and the customers are welcomed by a Temple is the front. There is a sweets and snacks corner on both the sides in the front of the restaurant. From the other reviews, could see there restaurant gets crowded at times, but it was not so busy when we had gone (at around 5pm at evening). We had ordered two Ghee Roasts and two Cups of tea and both were good. The Ghee roasts were accompanied by 3 varieties of chutneys, Dosa powder with oil and Sambar. They provide ample waiting space with chairs(when the inside seating gets filled at peak times) and a free parking space is available for two wheelers and four wheelers beside the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Forgot to mention, A big dhoop was burned which really created a sacred atmosphere and a positive vibe!!! Overall a good restaurant to try. (Aug 2025)

The food and ambience were good, but the staff really spoiled the experience. They seemed very careless and in a rush for everything. I was still having my breakfast when they handed me the bill before I could even finish. This made me feel very uncomfortable. Service definitely needs improvement.

Best place to have food. Very clean and hygiene. Atmosphere was good. But I went for breakfast. So seats were available. Normally it's crowded in day time especially mid-noon and evening. We have idiyappam and idlis. The cost was nominal. Ample car parking. Easy to identify. It's on road near suguna kalyana Mandapam. Update: repeat visit. Happily got seat here. For breakfast. Idli is soft and fluffy. Appreciate the chef.

Good though the wait is far too long. Their wait time is long as their food is super tasty. BD, BA, stand for Butter Aapam, Butter Adai, Butter Dosa… Their chutney dosa is a must try. The all time favourite dish that people revisit is the Butter Aapam which is one of its kind in the city. We visit when we have family or friends over. I fail to take pics everytime we visit as the urge to plunge into action is more and their range is hard to resist if veg food is your craving. Their masal sevai roast or closer to that name was a new addition that we found interesting and delicious.

A mess that's been run at a home turned hotel. Very limited menu with almost all of the dishes having butter in it. Butter Aapam was crispy on the outside and spongy on the inside. Onion Butter utthapam was fluffy with onions getting submerged in the batter, which makes the dish onion rich. All the accompaniments were equally good. The accompaniments given are Tomato chutney, Onion chutney, Coconut chutney, coriander chutney and sambar. Butter onion sevai was also good. The thing to note over here is that even though everything has butter in it you hardly realise it since it's not too much and just of the right quantity.

Butter appam. Appam. Butter dosa. End of story. Eating the butter appam gives me butterflies. Hard and crunchy on the outside, so soft inside. It takes a few minutes to arrive, and I respect that, for such a dish needs to be waited as a mark of respect. The appam is heavenly. You munch through the filmy crispy dosa, to get to the bottom soft fluffy cloud of heaven. It looks like a bottomless pit, but alas it finishes as soon as you start, that's the only sad part. The best dosas I ever had. The bestest chutney and sambar. Courteous staff. Courteous customers, because everyone is just admiring and munching on the dosa. Butter appam. Appam. Butter dosa. End of story.

A bit overrated I'd say. Don't take me wrong, it is located in a prime location, the ambience is decent, but the quality of the food and the quality of the service is below average. We ordered pasta and chicken nuggets. The pasta was very blunt, no flavours at all and they've added egg to the chicken nuggets. Like who adds eggs to CHICKEN nuggets??? The service was okayish, they did not switch on the AC when is was so hot inside the restaurant . There were no one to take additional order. It is projected as a high end restaurant, but the experience you'll get out of it will be average.

Ambiance was good I had my date night here we want to try some Italian food in Coimbatore so we thought give a try. It was food was good and like preparation made after the order place. Yes it took 20 mins of time but we sent it with board games which offer😊.

The platter had both veg and non veg servings. But the noteworthy part was their desserts. They have a huge spread of both indian and continental desserts. I didn't notice any starters. There was the usual live paratha, dosa and pasta stations. Salad platter wasn't that interesting. The staff is friendly and polite. The seating area is big and spacious. Overall the continental dishes were better than the indian ones. Washrooms are available as well as valet parking. Loved the interior.

Date of Visit: 25th July 2024 Our team recently dined at Last Recipe, Le Meridien Coimbatore, for a buffet dinner. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Most of the food, including starters, was cold and lacked freshness. The only exceptions were some curries and the chicken biryani, which were decent. We also ordered dosa and naan from the live counters, but the service was disappointing as we had to repeatedly follow up on our order. In terms of desserts, the selection was underwhelming. While the Rabdi, blueberry burfi, brownies, and ice creams were enjoyable, the Malpua, tart, and cakes fell short of quality. Overall, while there were some positives, the experience was marred by issues with food temperature and service.

Wonderful spread.Went to have a family dinner for my Dad's birthday.. The spread was good.The food was delicious. The ambience is also great .My kid also loved the food and play area near to buffet. Also had food varieties which kid could also enjoy..The staff was very courteous and customer service was excellent...Must visit at Coimbatore both for food and their architecture marvel.

The atmosphere was nice. Enough parking space was there. Service was good. Pricing is literally overpriced. For basic veg meals they are charging 140 ₹without payasam. That is too much. And for chicken biriyani they are charging 280₹ . There is nothing special and the quantity seems like half biriyani. Not satisfied at all.

The ambience of the restaurant was good. But the prices of dishes were quite high. A chicken biriyani that I ordered for rupees 260 was just half the bowl. It would not even satiate the appetite of one. The gravy that I ordered was half but the quantity was quarter. Not even up to an average level of taste and it cost more than double the price of a common non veg restaurant. Not really worthy spending for the food. The quantity is too less and taste is not even to a level of a normal restaurant. They think adding more oil makes food tastier🤦. I ordered biriyani, chukka and many other items and they were below average. I think they should work out on taste, pricing and also quantity.

The North Indian dishes were decent. The chicken tikka stood out as the best dish—well-marinated and cooked to perfection. The biryani was also flavorful and enjoyable. However, the desserts felt a bit overpriced for the quantity served, which was a slight letdown. The service was warm and efficient, adding to the overall experience.

Coming back to this place after 8 years, this place still oozes lots of it's fine dining style and characteristics. While everything seems to have improved on an increasing scale, even the price which is now really high, the taste of food left me wanting for more. The sweet corn soup wasn't thick enough to my liking, the honey and chili potato starter like great in the menu but in reality lacked the sesame seeds and didn't have a hint of chili. We loved it still though. The other mains and dessert was spot on and we really digged into them. The service was okay. Overall, this time around, I came with really high expectations and while most of it was delivered to satisfaction, a gap was definitely there for improvement.

The place and the ambience was awesome. The price were expensive which would be fine if the quality and taste is higher. I literally have to come home and eat again. We paid a bill of 4500 for 6ppl. The chicken tandoori and the milk shake was good but the starters were served at last. Rest of the items didn't have any flavor but green peas in every curry. I personally wouldn't recommend.

The experience gained in this restaurant is unique. Chosen varieties of dishes , an unique ingredient in each of them is its highlight. You would feel like you are in a house , not at a restaurant. Presentation of food is good. Complementary snack was a surprise element and adds value. Wait time is bit long . I tried crispy Lotus stem which was really good. Briyani is different but not so good. Utensils were really nice and gave premium feel. Service was better. Smoothies are really great in here. Parking is available nearby.

Ambience is good and service is okay. Food - ok type of food. Western foods are excellent in taste(pasta pizza salads) Indian ones are not that tasty or interesting. Kambu thayir Sadham is good. But there was only lemon pickle available. There is no variety in the pickle too. Mojito was good. Deserts stands out in the buffet. Rs.1980 per pax is little costly. Tea and kaapi should be added for this amount.

I have been visiting Annalakshmi Chettinad Hotel for over 10 years across different outlets. I usually eat here and sometimes take away. Their fish curry is my favorite and it is always fresh, spicy and full of flavor. If you like non veg Chettinad food, this place is worth trying.

Recently had chicken biryani , omlette, parotta and kadai paneer from here.. taste is too good and they will serve the food in banana leaf which gives some authentic feeling.. Chicken biryani has got good flavor and taste.Parotta was crunchy and decent. Kadai paneer has got the aroma of kadai which is the best kadai paneer i had in recent times. It got the strong aroma of kadai and you can feel that for every bite.Prices are reasonable.. Ambience is ok ok.

Food was great but at what cost, I bought only 2 parotta and the waiter asked me what to add as sides(gravys and masala) like what! Bro am I in Kerala to order a separate gravy for just 2 of them. So added kalaki, egg masala which is of great quantity and had 2 whole eggs half sliced , parotta was good and flaky too. Dined at Annalakshmi Hotel twice, and the experience was fantastic. The pricing is surprisingly affordable, allowing for the enjoyment of multiple varieties of delicious food. While the portions are slightly smaller, the trade-off for variety is worth it. The parotta and dragon paneer were exceptional, with the parotta being soft and fluffy. Fast service, and the food is served on a banana leaf, adding a traditional touch. The staff is respectful and prompt, offering tissues after washing hands. The second visit included chilli parotta, chilli gobi, and paneer fried rice—all of which were excellent. Couldnt experience non veg here this time but looking at the people eating there im pretty sure that the non veg also tastes amazing , Fresh and authentic flavors made for an overall great experience.

Don't miss this hotel if you're looking to have an non vegetarian lunch or dinner near Coimbatore Railway station. I've never tried their lunch menu but I can vouch for their dinner menu. The Chicken Dosa is a must try here. The service is fast and the hospitality is also good.

The usual theatrics—such as the chef slicing and dicing right at the table—were completely absent. Moreover, the flavors of the dishes were disappointingly flat and lacked cohesion. It felt like a missed opportunity to showcase the rich and diverse flavors of Japanese cuisine. I was hoping for a memorable culinary experience, but instead, it was bland and uninspired. To top it off, I was taken aback when the chef left our table without even cleaning up after the cooking process. This is something I’ve never witnessed in a Teppanyaki restaurant before and added to the overall unsatisfactory experience. On a positive note, I must commend the girl at the restaurant reception for her understanding and professionalism. She was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing evening. Overpriced Inauthentic ketchuppy food. Sushi was such a scam, no nori in it. There was tomato ketchup on everything - corn fritters and even Sushi! We thought better of Le Meridien to ensure a global standard of food. Common! People travel and know what a Sushi is and should be. Total street side type of food served in a 5 star and scammed us 10k in a bill for 4. Atleast serve authentic food!

A very nicely done Japanese restaurant in coimbatore. The ambience is very good to get a feel of Japanese cuisine. The staff is well qualified to explain you different things about Japanese food and suggest best choice according to your preferences. The staff is well manaered and courteous. Taste wise the food was top notch. One can't complain about anything. Sushi we tried was very good. The one thing not so good about the management was their attitude towards rates in the menu. When we got our final bill the rates charged were Rs 200 more per item than rates in menu. Their argument was the menu has lower rates and system has higher rates and we will update the menus later. They should have informed us about this discrepancy earlier. Maybe people who go to five star hotels for food should not pay attention to rates 😕. The manager changed our bill after we showed them the discrepancy and it was settled.

Was way crowded when I went & therefore faced service issues and item missing when the dish was served (did not get wasabi mayo with fish fingers & instead was served with normal mayo). Overall, had a good experience. Will recommend the place for a onetime visit.

From the moment I walked in, On The Go impressed me with its warm, vibrant ambiance and stylish décor. The seating is comfortable, the lighting is perfect, and the whole place has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The service was outstanding friendly, attentive, and quick without ever feeling rushed. The staff genuinely cared about making our dining experience perfect, offering great menu suggestions and checking in just the right amount. The food was simply phenomenal. We tried the Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Biryani, Pasta, and their famous Mud Soufflé each dish was bursting with flavor, served fresh, and presented beautifully. Portion sizes were generous and worth every rupee.

Goes without saying - this place is overpriced given a dinner for two costed 2k Would highly recommend their Thai chicken (starter), butter chicken gravy and cheesy garlic naan (bread is stuffed with cheese and garlic. Goes well with the buttery gravy - melts) of course for dessert, we tried the mud souffle (totally worth it, tastes like high quality choco lava cake with a gooey molten center, combined with ice cream, it's worth the price) and Ferrero rocher smoothie (which i assumed would be thick but was a disappointment. Wouldn't recommend it) Overall the ambience is great, with artsy walls and jazz music. Food is good but extremely overpriced. A self-indulgent experience.

This is the second time I've visited here. Likes 1. The location is great. Perfect to wrap up dinner and walk around the promenade. 2. The chef was kind enough to accommodate a modification request on account of my guests allergy Dislikes 1. The servers need to be pulled up for their sour attitude. 2. The food is plated and served, no thought into presentation of the dish. 3. Two air conditioners in the interior seating area stopped working. With all the tables occupied it was extremely hot and everyone started sweating. I rushed through the dinner and the door to breathe.

On the go is a good restaurant at race course Coimbatore. Nice place to meet friends and family for a get together. Loved the chicken clear soup and the non veg platter. Staff are friendly. Met my colleague for lunch in a weekend. Had a good time. Will visit again.

Yum food. We had to have veg because of fasting and they did not disappoint us. The pasta was the best and was super creamy.

Actually it was an unexpected visit to ON THE GO, and we didn't even saw the menu before entering the hotel. After coming inside, we sat down, and gotta see the menu and omggg everything was so costly, literally the base price is 399. So we had no option and thought of eating any SINGLE item. And we ordered the paneer tikka. And tbh, It was so tasty and mouth watering. We would visit in the future for sure❤️

Home.style authentic food. Meals must try! Their variety rice choices are rare to find in coimbatore. Have been maintaining the standards for more than 15years. I have nostalgic moments with this place.

All excellent taste but taste and quality of roast items may be improved. Some places near hand wash not neat. Otherwise excellent eat out for families and children. All excellent varieties of foods including bread toast, bread sandwich and bread omlette. I'm eating at this mess for more than 30 years my family too like the taste of all items here. Thanks for the owner who maintains the tastes of foods, quality, quantity and ambience of the restaurant.

Visited this restaurant today for lunch with family members. Had Terrible Service Experience and was absolutely disappointed with the service here by rude and unprofessional behavior of the supplier. Cashier informed that variety meals has to be in collected in the outside area near to cash counter and meals has to be collected inside area by providing the token. He mentioned that family members (ladies) consuming the variety rice can sit inside along with ther persons who are consuming Meals. Considering the crowd was less and few tables were free, we felt it should be okay to sit in the inside area. A young supplier in the inside area behaved rudely saying that only people having meals should sit inside. We informed him that Cashier allowed to sit inside but he was not understanding and arguing with us unnecessarily. Basic manners and customer service were completely missing. This is the worst experience with supplier I have ever been. I expected a much better experience and will not be recommending this place who are going with family until the staff is properly trained.

This restaurant is truly an underrated find. While the ambiance may not be particularly cozy or stylish, the generous portions and excellent food quality more than make up for it. The pricing is fair, and the dishes have a comforting, home-cooked feel that stands out. A great spot for a satisfying and unpretentious meal. Definitely worth a visit.

It’s really a worst experience that I didn’t expect from this restaurant. I have having food past several years. However, in these recent days service and customer handling is worst and poor. That too the food serving staffs are very rude and using filthy languages where I didn’t expect from this restaurant. Totally, the scenario made me no to recommend and made me to stop going to the restaurant. Hence, if anyone expecting service and respect pls be avoided.

The ghee roast was rich and flavorful, BUT had a bit more ghee than necessary— My hands remained sticky even after washing. My friends also had similar experience with oil / ghee items before too Despite the crowd, the management was impressive and handled the rush smoothly. What surprised me most was the speed of service—I received my food much earlier than expected. Location IS a plus - just opposite to KMCH Overall, a satisfying experience with room for minor improvement.

Being one of the best hotel chain in the town this hotel was also the best. Located in a prime location near to Airport and opposite to KMCH hospital. The food and service was excellent. Even though it was crowded didn't feel much about the rush.. got a place with few mins. Highly recommend this for all and specially to the Veg South Indian food fans.

This Annapoorna restaurant was close to my hotel and I tried dinner (Ghee Masala Dosa & Tea) and it was perfect. Next day I tried filter coffee by evening and I’m happy. I will definitely suggest anyone to have good food here.

The food was pretty average overall but still manageable. Between the Veg Biryani and Paneer Fried Rice, the standout dish for me was the Thayir Vadai. I liked it very much. The filter coffee was also good, though the portion size was smaller compared to what you usually get in Chennai restaurants.

Food is good But the service is worst. The staffs don’t even care about cleaning the table and taking orders. Getting a table was quite easy but the staffs are too unresponsive. We spent 10 mins eating and 40 mins waiting for someone to take the order. There is another restaurant “Anandhaas” nearby where the service and food both are best in class. May be the staffs in Annapoorna needs to get trained from Anandhaas.

We had idly and ghee masala dosa along with THE coffee. The food was exceptional as usual. The problem we faced was that most of the items on the menu weren’t available or rather sold out as it was told to us. Could be because we went by 9:30PM This time we had paneer sevai, paniyaram and set dosa with Vada curry. All of them were delightful to eat

Actually I would like to appreciate the service by the waiter. And particularly the taste of the dishes was very perfect. At the end we got a cake for the birthday surprise. It was awesome delicious and worth it. The ambience was so beautiful and quiet where you were able to get peace of mind

Went for 2 dinners exploring fish and meat dishes. Wine for Dinner 1: Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio 2021 An Italian wine which is slightly dry with a lot of apple notes and quite flavourful. Wine for Dinner 2: Albert Bichot Chateau de Varennes Beaujolais-Villages 2019 Quite floral and fruity red French wine and contains 100% gamay. Dinner 1: Started with Salmon carpaccio which was nice, followed by grilled Salmon as main dish. Dinner 2: Started with Asparagus Risotto which was the best dish of the restaurant I would say. Next, main dish based on chicken which was quite heavy. Over both meals, quantities are quite heavy and probably should be reduced I felt. Simple food, and we cannot expect something big as the restaurant is located on a small city with Chef’s and restaurant’s limitations on menu probably. Dessert: Tiramisu was very sweet, and was not great. It is missing coffee flavours and less creamy. Panna Cotta was fine and obviously far better than tiramisu. Employees are very courteous. On the atmosphere and ambience, outside seating was closed on both days I visited(not sure of the reason why).

Everything we ordered here was good, especially the thin crust pizzas. Really appreciate the staff's recommendation on what to order, because we (there were three of us) asked for two pizzas and a lasagna for main-course, but were adviced to put one item on hold as their portion size is generous. So we asked to cancel the lasagna and only ordered the pizzas, and true enough, it was MORE THAN enough for us. In starters, the Jalapeno Cheese Poppers were yum. The flavours/spices in most dishes were very mild, tailored for foreigners, so keep that in mind. (I used a lot of their tabasco sauce) For dessert, I had the Tiramisu, which was nice, but not as satisfying as one would want their dessert to be. Overall, dinner here was worth it.

We are Vegan 🌱 and were a bit hesitant to dine at Fabiola. Restaurant manager Shanker Jyoti ramalingam assured us that he may arrange for a Vegan Italian dinner. Our experience was amazing. Awesome food and wonderful hospitality. We are very impressed and credit goes to Shankar, Meghanathan and chef Uma Shankar.

Nice calm and cozy ambience to spend time with your loved ones while you to enjoy the food. The cafe owners Ankit and Ridhi are very gracious to host our friends 10k celebration and be a part of the celebration as well making it a memorable evening for all of us. Great place to visit for an all veg good quality and awesome taste spread. I was late and missed tasting the chat items which was over and luckily my wife had taken few pictures. Veg Loaded Pizza is worth a try. In spite of being a core non veg lover, I relished the thin crust pizza generously loaded with cheese and fresh veggies a perfect mix of mushroom, brocolli, capsicum etc. Was talking with my folks and forgot to take a photo of the veg loaded pizza and the jackfruit icecream - This deserves a special appreciation for its rich milky flavour and actual fruit pulp without preservatives which I could chew into while relishing the ice cream. We went to Kailash Parbat for dinner during a festival, and it was crowded and rainy. There’s no entry to the restaurant from inside the mall, so we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table for two. We regretted our decision to come here instead of ordering pizza in our hotel room. We ordered Hakka noodles (3/5), chole bhature (2.5/5)—the chole was not good, as it had too much gravy—and tomato bruschetta (4/5). The service was quick, but getting a table took quite a while.

This place is always crowded Papdi chat 3.5/5 the papdi was more but the aloo was not properly spread. Crispy corn 1.5/5 big no, it was sweet never tasted crispy corn to be sweet, it was topped with sauce. Watermelon is pure 4/5 Amritsar chole kulcha 3/5 kulcha is good but chole was not the best Service is fast.

The food gave me food poisoning. The North Indian dishes definitely didn’t match Kailash Parbat standards. The ambience made the place look dingy as the seating was uncomfortable and lighting was close to non existent and the plates were dirty. The service was the only good thing. I have been to multiple Kailash Parbat outlets, and I’m a loyal patron. This is the first and only time that after and during my time in the restaurant u was disappointed. This outlet is not in line with the franchise’s norm. Y’all better step up.

Awesome Service. I usually have a unique and custom request (jain, vegan etc) and every single time they have ensured it was done as requested. Heartfelt THANKS to Mr. Neil. He has taken care of my requests at all times - even during rush hours and even at times when he was out of town. AWESOME is the word. TRULY. :)

I visited this place for a special occasion, and unfortunately, and had an unpleasant experience. I arrived with entire family around 6:30 in the evening and parked my car. I approached the parking manager politely, explaining that it was a bit early, and we weren’t quite hungry yet and so we planned to take a walk in the mall and return for dinner in about 30 minutes. I suggested that I could pay in advance ₹100 or ₹200 and have it adjusted in my final bill, just to make things smoother. To my surprise, the parking manager declined and told me it was only for restaurant customers, which I completely understood. What really soured the experience was the way he treated me—his tone was harsh and disrespectful, which felt completely unnecessary. I was being reasonable and polite, but his attitude made the situation bad. This negative interaction ended up affecting the mood of the entire family, and we decided to leave the spot altogether. And we decided not to return to this place. It’s disappointing when a simple request is met with such poor service, especially when you’re trying to make things easier. The whole experience was a letdown, and I regret choosing this place for our special occasion.

Visited Kove Restaurant in Coimbatore as a group of six and had a delightful experience overall. We tried a variety of dishes — vazhapoo kola urandai, yam galouti kebab, tawa milagu mushroom, kathal kabab, spinach peas dimsum, Thai green curry with jasmine rice, nasi goreng, and lotus biscoff cake. The kola urandai was a standout – crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was well-presented and flavorful, though some items were noticeably oily, which could be improved. The ambiance was pleasant and service was courteous. A good spot for trying unique vegetarian fusion dishes. Would love to return, with slight tweaks.

KOVE by Annapoorna offers an amazing dining experience! The food is absolutely delicious. Loved the presentation of the foods. We tried many dishes like Vazhapoo Paneer kozha urundai, Jalapeno Panner Tikka, Chettinad soya pal Rotti,Far falle Rose primavera(Pasta),Achari Paneer and Tandoori Naan. My personal favourite was their Kongu soya Tikka Pizza. We even tried their signature Mocktails like Mango mist, Guava Bliss and Orange storm which was also great. A must try spot.

Kove offers an inventive take on progressive Indian cuisine with wide influences ranging from South and North India to Asian and Italian touches. We ordered four starters and one dessert, which was more than enough for a hearty meal. The Blue Cheese Spinach Tikki had an earthy flavour — quite unique but my least favourite of the lot. The Chettinad Soy Pol Roti Bruschetta was a showstopper — a spicy, meaty soy filling layered over a crisp coconut roti with sambal-style heat, delivering bold flavours and great texture. The Jalapeño Paneer Tikka, stuffed with olives and coated in a fiery jalapeño marinade, was punchy and delicious. The Chettinad Pala Cutlet was packed with bold, spicy flavour and had a wonderfully crisp exterior — one of the most flavourful dishes of the evening. It was served creatively on a lollipop-style stick, likely made of jackfruit, which added a nice rustic touch. However, the stick had a small wilted brown spot — though inedible, it slightly affected the overall presentation and is something that could be improved for a more polished finish. .To finish, we tried the Dulce de Leche Verrine, a decadent dessert with layers of caramel, whipped cream, dark chocolate, and crispy puff pastry shards — rich, sweet, and texturally delightful. The ambience was stunning — a perfect blend of contemporary and cozy. While the service was a bit passive (we had to call the staff over a few times), they were attentive and warm once they arrived.

The food at Kove blew me away. The ambience is calming and welcoming. They have a wide selection of cuisine - Asian Italian Indian. The dishes are super interesting and presentation was beautiful and vegetarian. The mocktails and liquor selection was great as well. Needless to say the taste was AWESOME. Top this off with excellent service from the staff. Highly recommend if in Coimbatore.

A nice fine fine with varied vegetarian options. Enjoyed the fare except for blue cheese nan which was way out of my palette 😅 Service is fast and efficient. Good ambience and lighting. Would have been 5 star if not for my harrowed parking experience. The management should definitely look at valet parking right from their doorstep.

The food was good. Ambience was very nice and calm. Some dishes weren't great like the dimsum. The bruschetta was brilliant, pepperoni pizza was nice, desserts were excellent. The staff weren't well versed with the menu and service wasn't good as one would expect in a fine dine. You request something/ask for something (warm water or how long for the dish to be ready) they go behind and give a mock which isn't appreciable thinking no one noticed them. Would definitely expect better service and definitely not visiting again for the hype about "fine-dining". If it's seen as a regular restaurant then it makes complete sense but with an expensive menu (portion to cost ratio). Didn't have beverages so I won't comment on their beverages menu and the bar service.

Kove is an absolute treasure in Coimbatore. First, the service is amazing. It all began with Guhan and his excellent and careful care for us. Second, the atmosphere is second to none. They were playing relaxing music, comfortable seating and an overall classy but calming ambiance. Then the meal started out with a literal bang! The Basiliac mocktail came out with a nitrogen bubble on the top. Then without any assistance, it popped and released a puff of smoke, seemingly announcing the beginning of our dining experience. Then the soup came. The teapot mushroom soup was absolutely delicious and the Tom Kha was fantastic. Each of the appetizers were unique. And the mains were very good. The Oyster Mushroom Curry had rich depths of flavor with its coconut base and perfectly cooked vegetables. The Mongolian Noodles are bold (almost too bold for me) with plenty of sauce that has strong sweet soy flavor. I hope to be able to visit the Kove again. If you’re undecided…just go and enjoy this fine dining experience.

A v reliable veg restuarant in a not so busy part of R S Puram that I've frequented over the years but mostly for dinner. Had lunch there recently & it was good with a good range of sides and curries. Some places are good for either lunch or dinner but my experience was proof enough that one can go to Salem Ravichandran for both. They have a good range of options for dinner & their lemon sevai, podi idli, kothu parotta, appam, paniyarams are standout.

This place serves tasty and healthy vegetarian foods. Parking is a bit difficult at evening time and night time. Street parking is available. Must try - Onion podi savai - Lemon savai - Podi Tat idli - Dosa - Kottu parota The table is difficult to get since it’s rush hour so plan accordingly in the evening. Ambience is not that great but that would be balanced with the taste of food. Highly recommended for pure vegetarian people!

Had been here for lunch and ordered the Vegetarian meals. The food was served on the traditional Banana leaf. The taste and quality of the dishes served was pretty good. The service could definitely improve. We had to wait for close to 20 mins due to the lack of tables. While waiting we noticed that they had dumped stuff on two tables and made it unusable right at the entry into the hotel. If these two tables were also being used, I am sure they would be able to do more business as a hotel and as a customer our waiting time would decrease drastically during the peak hours of business.

We have visited this restaurant for lunch and we have tried meals which was very good for the price. Especially they have served parupu podi for white rice like starter which was very good and sambar also nice. Puli kulambu was very bitter.

I'm not sure of the taste of their dishes. It's just okay and nothing great to mention. But what is worse than the food is their service. I was going through the menu card and one person came and abruptly took it and gave it to next table without any manners. Fried rice was the pathetic of all those we ate. It was just a quarter baked carrot and cabbage dish with some rice added to it. Check out the picture I added. Schezwan noodles was worth mentioning as I assumed it as one and ate. :(((( We waited for this experience for more than 40 minutes.

Had a disappointing experience with Covai Angannan RSPuram (near Brookefields). The quality of food was just alright but not match to hype created traditionally by Coimbatoreans. The main item Biriyani was disappointing.. meat was hard and seemed overcooked, i have had much better biriyani in a mess/hotel, though aroma was good but tasted with excess ghee.Rice was also overcooked. The prawn was not juicy and over cooked. Also pichipota kozhi was not boneless as compared to other restaurants. However the best item was Chicken Pepper Leg Piece which tasted good but not to the quality of old Angannan outlet. Seems there may have been several change of brand franchisee and ownership over last decade (not sure of how true this is!) Which has lead to loss in quality. No comments on Price as it seems ok. Car parking maybe a challenge.

Not worth the price,…nothing great about the food. It’s just khuska rice (not basmati) with some topping of 4 bony mutton pieces , 5 pieces of chicken 65, few piece of small cut chicken, 2 Kola or one piece of egg. So total 5 type of briyani NOT WORTH the price, taste or quality. The briyani is served only with Raita and mutton gravy that was soured with NO papad. No meals or white rice and only Gobi Manchurian is available at additional cost. We also tried chicken stuffed parota, not sure who gave them the idea to chop chicken 65 and stuff it in parota!! In Singapore and Malaysia, there is a delicacy called Murtabak. The chef should revisit this terrible combination of chicken stuffed parota and compare it with murtabak. Food would have had ajina-moto added cos we had to drink lots of water after this meal. I was deceived by a YouTubers review who probably got free food from them for his review. So disappointed 🤨.

One of the best biriyani center in Coimbatore..Chicken biriyani and chicken 65 were very good.. The gravy they gave compliments the biriyani well and those who love to add gravy to their biriyani shoud defntly check out this place.

Many Dosa varieties.., good taste. Sambar, coconut chutney, tomato chutney are very average. Sambar is not thick. Only pudhina chutney is good. I had paneer dosa, mushroom dosa, garlic dosa, channa and plain kalakki. Reasonable price...

A really busy and crowded spot serving amazingly delicious dishes having multiple varieties of dosas, idlis, seva and omlettes to choose from. Butter paneer dosa, ada dosa, mutta seva, idli, omlette and poondu kalakki are few recommendable dishes. The road side vendor attracts both the common and elite crowds from the area. Don't miss this spot if you enjoy local dishes.

One special thing that caught my eye was the owner's character, he is such a good person because in his shop he refuses to give soft and carbonated beverages to kids below the age of 16 which is actually a veryq good concern regarding kuda health. Every shop should follow this too. The overall experience was very good.

I ordered Gobi Noodles, Pav Bhaji, Kalan Bhel and Paneer Sandwich. The Kalan Bhel was the best among the other dishes and the other favourite was Paneer Sandwich. But the Gobi Noodles and Pav Bhaji tasted average. Gobi Noodles were too oily and the Pav Bhaji lacked spice in it.

Have ordered multiple times online and today we were crossing saibaba colony so planned to have a stop. Snacks are as usual and their service was good. But comparing to their shop in RS puram taste was bit lower side. Felt something was missing. We have ordered kalan, masal poori, bhel and coffee. I have been going to Sasi’s place for the last 30 years. Am so happy to see him move up from a push cart to a shop to now opening a second centre at Vadavalli. This review is for the shop in Saibaba colony. You get a good vibe, nice peaceful, has a few tables outside. The boys attending to you are very quick and energetic and very chirpy. Food taste is out of the world, I feel the taste has not changed in the last 30 years. Love their masala poori and kaalan (mushroom). The taste is so good that it is worth a visit anytime all the time.

My experience at this chaat shop was not great. From the start, we had issues with ordering—the person preparing the chaat was wearing headphones and served us something we didn’t order. Despite telling him it was the wrong order, he insisted that we had ordered it, so we reluctantly accepted it to avoid wasting food. The shop has ample parking space where you can have your chaat. The taste was okay and the prices were reasonable, but the hygiene was a major concern. I literally saw cockroaches running inside the glass frame where the food is kept, which raises serious doubts about cleanliness.

Recently had mushroom Manchurian and masal poori here. It made our stomach upset and the impact was there for 4 days. Never eating here again. The quantity definitely needs to be increased. They're charging averagely 50 rs for a dish and the quantity needs to be according to that.

Geetha Restaurant offers a passable South Indian meal, but little else. The food is mediocre, lacking authentic flavors and spice. It's very good place to have breakfast. There are more crowd in the morning and food was very tasty to me personally. After ordered the food, we have to wait for ten minutes to get the food. The service is also nice and we can pay money after the food. No need to get any tokens to get the food.

It does not look like a good atmosphere hotel, starting from table service, quality of food, washroom, payment options, cashier at the desk. One of the hotels, would say to avoid or visit if you do not have any other options nearby. Table service was just below par. Food quality & quantity were not good. The washroom is just fine. No payment options other than cash?! Common on, are we in the stone age? Not even UPI or Card payment options. The cashier attitude is also not friendly. I would certainly avoid such hotels next time.

Taste of food is not at all good. The hype given for this restaurant is completely falsified. Let it be any preparation , that has been made with a base non veg which has been already cooked. Just doing some alteration at last moment based on our orders. The spice or the ingredients would be used very high to avoid identifying such worst cooking. Please avoid having food in this restaurant where you would regret later. Only thing I felt little good was, the parrotta which was soft the day, but the kurma was worse in taste and quality.

We visited Pizza Hut with our family and ordered one Chocolate Volcano, Cheese Garlic Bread, Chicken Schezwan Meatballs, and Chicken Sausage. The Chocolate Volcano and Garlic Bread were awesome. However, we had a bad experience with the Chicken Schezwan Meatballs; we found hairs in our pizza. We complained to the server, but they didn't even apologize. When we asked if the chef was wearing a cap, they said yes, but we still found two hairs. It was a horrible experience, and I will not visit that particular location again Edit : they asked to send a email I sent email 2 months ago I never received any response from them. Just for a shack they are responding 😡😡😡

Pizza Hut! You are disappointing little by little. Food was really good but hygiene? It was at its worst. Hair on a serving plate, water container and Pizza pan! Bug on the knives kept on dining table. The team has to work on that man!

I placed order a Pizza on 21/03/2024 around 8:30 PM and Pizza Hut app confirmed my order and update with delivery by 9:03 PM. But I got my delivery at 11:20 PM. That too I called customer care twice, called Store manager twice, still no proper response. I went to the store directly at 10:40 PM and they told the delivery guy is out to deliver to my address, but he reached my house at 11:20 PM. This is seriously not acceptable and this is worst experience I had. I better to avoid pizza hut in future. Delay in delivery for 5 to 10 mins is acceptable, but not 2 hours 20 minutes. This is seriously not acceptable in any condition. Moreover not even single call from any one regarding delay in my order to deliver. More over the pizza which I received at 11:20 PM was cold, looks like it was prepared atleast one hour before. There is no option t To.give ZERO ratings, so given one Star.

I recently ordered the Royal Paneer Pizza from Pizza Hut, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The taste was not good at all, and the pizza didn’t seem fresh. Worst pizza. We ordered past midnight and they sent two stale pizzas (already made? Some time back?) Didnt even reheat it. They were so hard and like cardboard. Worst pizza experience. Raaju Sri Rayappas Restaur offers a very nice traditional ambience. The interiors are well-maintained and carry a touch of traditional look, making dining here a pleasant and memorable experience. The food quality is very good, with authentic taste and freshly prepared dishes. A small kids’ play area is also available, which makes it family-friendly. The only drawback is that the pricing is on the higher side compared to similar restaurants in the area.

Restaurant in cross cut road, Coimbatore serving authentic food - particularly non veg cuisines. One should count on this restaurant for consistent taste. One can relish the taste of Tamil Nadu dishes. The ambience is good with unique paintings and elements. The waiters were given uniforms. Kids play area inside the resto. Parking kind of difficult during peak hours. Must visit for tasting non veg dishes in Coimbatore.

Every time I come here I get the same experience. Great food, soothing ambience, great hospitality. If you need to taste authentic Biriyani taste then check this place. In the latest visit, their special “Arabian Bread Custard” was great. Highly recommend.

I recently visited boomerang and was blown away by the delicious ice cream they had on offer. From classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla to more unique options like pulpy lychee and raw mango lemon there was something for everyone. In addition to their regular scoops, they also had a selection of sundaes, floats, and other dessert treats. I didn't try any of those on this visit, but they looked just as tempting as the ice cream itself. Must visit to have some quality icecream occasionally

This is the first time I went to this hotel thinking idly is special here and varieties of idly will be there but it’s not idly based hotel it has dosas, sevais, poori, parotha etc. Also I thought it’s budget hotel but it’s costlier. I ordered 1 plate idly (2 pieces) 30rs and it was not served hot. Chutneys is sumar taste only. Ordered single piece puri 25rs. When Rate is high, they should serve hot but all I got is not hot. Also very poor atmosphere. Serving food is good. They also putting gst.

Idly Virindhu - is a modest eatery, the equivalent of a dhaba in North India. Parking is not available. It has to be done on the VKK Menon road side. Its a purely vegetarian eatery. The dishes are interesting, well made, and hygienic. Prices are moderate. The 'thattu idly' a larger version of the standard idly size x 4 == is definitely worth a try. Also try the various types of dosas. The small sized 'kolukattai' made from rice flour, coconut, and jaggery is also interesting. Its different from the 'Kozhukatta' usually made in Kerala, though the name sounds similar.

Had thattu idly, poondu roast, Appam for breakfast. All items were tasty & delicious. Thattu idly & poondu roast must try. Located in main area. Affordable cost. Hygiene maintained.

An amazing place which is like a hidden treasure. Though it is normal breakfast items, the little changes and variety gives the food extra taste. Love their variety of sevais- mainly egg sevai and tomato sevai which are a must try. Their podi idly is also amazing. There is always rush in this place.

I’ve been a regular customer of Idly Virundhu, but my recent experience was quite disappointing. The food was not hot at all upon delivery, and the taste has clearly dropped compared to earlier times. Also, despite ordering for 5 people (including 5 items), the quantity of sambar and chutney's provided was very minimal, barely enough for even two people. This kind of packaging feels careless, especially when ordered through Swiggy. Hope the team takes this feedback seriously and brings back the quality and portion standards they were once known for.

Ragi brownie ane jackfruit ice cream are really good. Does not feel heavy on the stomach at all. All the chutneys and sambar taste good and pachai payiru dosa and idli are of really good quality too. Would recommend this place to any idli lover !

One of my Favorite Kalaam spot since my childhood.... The delicious pepper mushroom was awesome tasty and melting in mouth. It's not like the other kalaan made on maidha flour mixed cabbage. Purely original mushroom fry so healthier too. A must try Kalaan spot in Coimbatore.

Owner is very friendly guy and offers advice like if you take Bombay bhel as parcel it becomes soggy. I liked the honesty. Taste was similar to eating in Delhi or Bombay. The shop has been in coimbatore from 1987. Visited recently only and quite impressed. The shop is clean and tidy.you can park two wheelers but not 4 wheelers as it is a very busy road. Pav bhai and Bangalore chat were outstanding

Best place to have Kaalaan aka Mushroom. Uses fresh mushroom and could feel the difference in taste. Rest of the chats are good and could be spicy.

Best South Indian style chat in rs puram. Loved all of their items that we ordered, which were masala puri, bhel puri and pani puri. Very hygienic. People are friendly. When there is a rush, no place to sit. A must visit.

Now taste has gone down from that of earlier. Service is also poor Masala puri 2/5 ₹50 They put very less masala in masala puri and even onion n carrot are spread very less Price has gone up.

Worst behaviour of the owner , doesn’t value customer , tells to wait for each plate of chaat for 15 mins and says has rush but gives priority to his regular customer and is too much hyped but attitude wise and atmosphere wise total waste , feels like they are giving food for free , suggestion to all whose reading this review to go to other good place where service is quick and also customers are respected .

Babu Pani Puri is one of the most popular Pani poori joints in RS Puram. All the raw materials are prepared fresh daily and its served only for limited time. The family has been in this business for more than 30 years. Very clean and Hygienic. Had Masala Puri and Bhel Puri. Very Delicious.

Amazing masala Kachori Pani puri was with masala insteaf of aloo so not my favorite but great

The chutneys and sambar are good and the best part is it is available online till late midnight, perfect for all the South Indian food lovers who are looking to order late in the night !! Best home maid food in Coimbatore for bachelors and working persons they are serving food with love and respect. My fav food from nama veetu paniyaram is kichadi, payasam, mini tiffen, paniyaram(soft),sambar (home maid), chutney and etc. All food is delicious

This place is amazing! It's a small house and they swiggy, but I had gone there with a friend and they served amazing paniyarams in their house. Such sweet people :D

Karandi omelette is nice and tasty. Don't order online they will serve rotten food.

Superb plain panniyaram, toasty dosa with sweet sambar was so delicious. So crispy to eat.

I had a bad experience from this hotel. I bought curd rice & potato varuval. There were many worms in it🤮. No matter which hotel you buy from, you have to test and eat. That's the condition of some hotels nowadays. Too bad

Good Variety of chaat items to choose from. What distinguishes them from the others is the cheese and they are quite generous with it. It becomes hard to locate them as they are often moving.

A delicious chaat house. You will not feel like stopping until you fill your stomach. Other than the kaakhri chaat, the food is yummy.
