Our recent visit offered a delightful culinary experience, marked by some truly standout dishes alongside a couple that didn't quite hit the mark. For starters, we began with Prawns Fry and Poricha Kozhi. The Poricha Kozhi proved to be a decent choice, arriving in a generous quantity that made it a satisfying start to the meal. Unfortunately, the Prawns Fry was a notable disappointment, failing to impress with its flavor or preparation. The main course, however, brought significant redemption. The Bun Paratha paired with Mutton Curry was an absolute highlight. The Bun Paratha was exceptionally scrumptious, easily ranking among the best I've had to date – its soft, fluffy texture was simply divine. The Chicken Kothu Parotta was also a solid, decent option, providing a comforting and flavorful experience. To conclude our meal, we indulged in the Ice Beeda for dessert, which proved to be a good and refreshing finish. The overall dining experience was very good. The exceptional Bun Paratha and Mutton Curry, combined with the decent Poricha Kozhi and satisfying Ice Beeda, made for a memorable meal. This establishment certainly has its culinary strengths, particularly in its main course offerings.

Visited for a weekday late lunch. Food was excellent. Tried tandoori and barbecue chicken for starters. Tandoori was okayish, but barbeque chicken has to be the must try. Slightly sweet and tangy masala with juicy chicken cooked to perfection. Also tried their prawns dry cooked in hettinad style which was decent. For mains, we went with white rice with fish gravy. Service was very humble and polite. Restroom could be an issue as there is only one washroom each for men and women. Price is on the expensive side but there were no compromises in taste and quality. Parking space is limited had to park by the road.

27th Day Dinner party with collegue in Haribavanam We enjoyed the taste. Expecially Mutton biriyani and Mutton Boti suberp taste with well cooked. Chicken dry items need to improve the taste.Enjoyed with eliteful Dinner. Try mutton items. If you need one of the best Taste foods here but Price is huge but that is worth it. We are more than 20 persons dine in same time.

Haribhavanam is about food and not about ambience nor catch-ups. You go there for the awesome biriyani, fish fry and mutton varuval (Tamizh style). You want other cuisines, then you are in the wrong place. Make sure you go there hungry because the food is exceptionally tasty. However, be ready to be asked to vacate the table as soon as you are done. That was quite a unique experience for me because I have never been told (albeit politely) to leave 🤣. The place has limited parking and is on a busy road. However, is quite centrally located.

Worst Non veg meals i had . Only gravy provided with meals. (fish gravy was bearable). It shouldn't be counted as a meals. Also chicken 65 was fine but barely any quantity for price. Mint lime was perfect though. It's just a hype place. No good service. They don't care if we need any sides etc.

Prawn Chettinad and Kallan Milagu Varuval: These dishes had excellent flavor and were cooked well. Chicken Nuggets: Unfortunately, these were disappointing. The nuggets were overly large, which made them chewy and unappealing. Desserts: Kunafa: It was just okay. The texture was too hard and didn’t provide the melt-in-your-mouth experience you’d expect. Nungu Payasam: A good choice – light and enjoyable. Shahi Tukda: Decent in flavor, but the bread wasn’t properly soaked in malai, which affected the texture. Caramel Gustard: This dessert was enjoyable with a unique flavor profile. Mud Pie with Ice Cream: This was the biggest letdown – the flavors didn’t work, and the dish was poorly executed. Other Recommendations: Indian breads and gravies were consistent highlights.Pasta dishes were also impressive and worth trying. Overall Experience While the food had its moments, there were a few disappointments with overcooked or poorly executed dishes, especially in the dessert section. The pricing feels a bit steep considering the quality. If you visit, I recommend sticking to the Pepper Prawn, Indian breads, gravies, and pasta. However, skip the Chicken Nuggets and Mud Pie with Ice Cream. Suggestions The restaurant could work on refining some of its dishes, particularly the desserts and soups, to elevate the dining experience. Improving the seating arrangement for more comfort would also be a big plus. Despite its shortcomings, the experience was enjoyable, thanks to the lovely ambiance and some standout dishes.

I used to actually like Bird on Tree. But the quality of the place (ambience-wise) has dipped significantly since the first couple of times I’ve been there (probably 2019) — when I was actually impressed with the place (maybe you’re easily impressed when you’re younger?). I went back in Dec, 2023 — and, boy, did I find the place a tad gross (although the food was fine). It clearly needs better maintenance and better upkeep. To iterate, the food was good (bordering on great), but the ambience disappointed. Not the “fine dining” I expected :(

Good Service and Quantity Went on for an official party. The food is good and the quantity is also more matching to the price. Budget of each variety is exceeding Rs.200/-. Service is also good. For Couples/ Family outside seating is also available. On that day we had an offer of 50% for 4 Pax. More varieties of Non veg. We have to ask how the taste will be before ordering, since many names are not recognizable. Overall its good for Office parties or Families to spend more for a special occasion with fulfillment.

Comprehensive menu.. Good service. Great view of the huge banyan tree at the opposite side property when we opt for the first floor sit out area.. As for the food, wonder whether the names actually match the dishes that arrive on plate. For example fish tempura came as a baked dish, more Italian than Japanese. And for roasted lamb rack.. wish there was more meat on the bone and the gravy had more zest to it. Chicken, prawn and prawn tikkas were succulent and we'll made.

Good thing about this restaurant is ambience . Roof dining on 1st floor and open dining on ground floor provides pleasant atmosphere. Food was okayish . Brownie with ice cream was terrible and turned out worst order we made . Good food : Indian breads and gravies Pasta American Choupsey Overall it was a good experience but it's quite expensive for the food quality. Had lunch at Bird on Tree after a few recommendations in Coimbatore. It's cozyly nestled amongst trees and foliage with birds tweeting all the time. Labelled "Fine Dining", it's nothing close to it. Was gobsmacked by the food but the pricing was big-ticket. The staff were attentive patient and courteous. A gratifying place to spend time with family and friends.

Amazing food! Such an adorably cute place. Everything we ate was excellent. We had Brie wrapped in filo, grilled beet goat cheese salad, fried chicken burger, veg pot pie and the sticky toffee pudding. The only issue we faced was that there was no pizza on available on the day we went and one of our party especially wanted a pizza so that was a bummer.

The food was delicious and the quality of the food is top notch.The interiors are French themed as per the name and very clean. The ambience is quiet and great for friends or family.The portions can be improved upon slightly for the price of the dishes.

Went here as a big group and tried so many things! The cheese fondue was good and surprising! The pizza was good but the pastas were really good! The desserts were okayish but everyone enjoyed it. Service was good and staff were polite. Food did take time to reach the table as we were a huge group!

An old bangalaw converted to a beautiful quaint restaurant. Food was delightful and yummy. We had the aranchini, baked brie and mangoe cheesecake and we loved it. The pastry chef Manikandan , he is so creative and such beautiful presentation. Totally recommend this place .

Food is good and ambience is great. They have a unique take in few dishes such as Cajun Potata pizza. Bruschetta is good, Bao was okay, Cajun potata pizza was unique, Mangalore Buns are worth a try. Cheesecake is delicious. Veg options are less compared to non-veg. If they could increase the options then it would be great.

Visited on 29/APR/25 The food was delicious but nothing amazing, could have been better. The pasta was undercooked and felt too much salty. The quantity of food was a bit on the lower side or it’s overpriced. The ambience was admirable exactly like eating in some french house but feels a bit too small, expected to be more spacious

Had my dinner here. Food was good, and it was little spicy to an end compared to other branches. I popped in around late 9pm. The hotel timings seemed to end towards 10. The ambience is quite average - that too being in a prime location. I think they could work on it. The snack bar here is really awesome, you could get some quick bites and some awesome coffees/tea. The spot is beautiful too. Mushroom roast is a must try here!

Anandhas food, quality and service standards has come down drastically through the years they should seriously looking into it.once the food taste and standard was really good now everything is gone.the person in the cash counter is very very rude he should learn how to talk to the customers I am talking about the day on 27 august 2025 the person with specs on morning shift the management should teach his manners and customer relations thank you highly disappointed

Anandhas in RS Puram, Coimbatore, has pricing comparable to Annapurna, but unfortunately, the taste does not meet expectations. I ordered the Mini Meals, priced at 115 rupees, and found it to be totally worthless. The portion sizes do not justify the cost, and the flavors were underwhelming. For the quality and quantity offered, Anandhas should consider reducing their prices to provide better value for their customers. Overall, there is significant room for improvement in both taste and pricing strategy.

It is in a very prime location but needs a lot of improvement on interior. A lot of people throng to them and a lot of service done. But they have to improve the ambience reasonably as well.

Rated for 2 stars for the worst food experience. We went here for office lunch . Nearly 20 members. Next day almost 16 members feeling stomach upset,fever 🥵🤒. Only 2 varieties of chicken available. Fish 🐟 fry looks like very very old and hard . No more starters available. main course are also worst. Desserts are good. For Rs.1950 per head is really over priced . Worth only for rs.500.. no welcome drinks , no tandoori items . They r charging service charges at 5% plus gst . Not recommended here.. Kindly all go to any other best buffet lunch providers like Bbq nation etc.. thank you!

Ambience is good and service is okay. Food - ok type of food. Western foods are excellent in taste(pasta pizza salads) Indian ones are not that tasty or interesting. Kambu thayir Sadham is good. But there was only lemon pickle available. There is no variety in the pickle too. Mojito was good. Deserts stands out in the buffet. Rs.1980 per pax is little costly. Tea and kaapi should be added for this amount.

Food used to be good here. This time it was horrible. No salt no spice no sweet no welcome drink, nothing. Absolutely terrible. Pizza tasted good, other than that I don’t see taste in anything! Place seems heavenly and hygienic but without quality of food nothing matters to me. They charged 1859/-rs per person, definitely people expect something more for this price. By seeing reviews I went there, which is my bad. I never expected this!

The food is beautifully presented and the taste, more than lives up to it. The staff is ever so kind. You get personal attention during a buffet here, and that is rare. The chefs are talented and how!! I was truly impressed. They have the cutest concept of giving credit to the chefs by naming the dishes after the ones who cooked it. I absolutely love how they pampered us during our visit. My family and I are definitely going back for this.

Ok, I'm coming back to this place after 15years. Afghan grill has been my most favorite restaurant ever since it existed. But I mean after fifteen years , I felt something was totally off with the food. I remember this place being totally different and now it's done up really well. Both my parents and I have digestive issues after last night's dinner. Food however is presented well, but otherwise I miss the Afghan grill for what it was.

The dishes are great. I wouldn't say they are exceptional. The service doesn't disappoint. They take care of your every needs and concerns. The atmosphere is decent, but beware of mosquitos in the evening. They can ruin your night.

Great food and great ambience! Loved the theme & aesthetics with inspiring stories on the wall. Was way crowded when I went & therefore faced service issues and item missing when the dish was served (did not get wasabi mayo with fish fingers & instead was served with normal mayo). Overall, had a good experience. Will recommend the place for a onetime visit.

From the moment I walked in, On The Go impressed me with its warm, vibrant ambiance and stylish décor. The seating is comfortable, the lighting is perfect, and the whole place has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The service was outstanding friendly, attentive, and quick without ever feeling rushed. The staff genuinely cared about making our dining experience perfect, offering great menu suggestions and checking in just the right amount. The food was simply phenomenal. We tried the Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Biryani, Pasta, and their famous Mud Soufflé each dish was bursting with flavor, served fresh, and presented beautifully. Portion sizes were generous and worth every rupee.

Goes without saying - this place is overpriced given a dinner for two costed 2k Would highly recommend their Thai chicken (starter), butter chicken gravy and cheesy garlic naan (bread is stuffed with cheese and garlic. Goes well with the buttery gravy - melts) of course for dessert, we tried the mud souffle (totally worth it, tastes like high quality choco lava cake with a gooey molten center, combined with ice cream, it's worth the price) and Ferrero rocher smoothie (which i assumed would be thick but was a disappointment. Wouldn't recommend it) Overall the ambience is great, with artsy walls and jazz music. Food is good but extremely overpriced. A self-indulgent experience.

This is the second time I've visited here. Likes 1. The location is great. Perfect to wrap up dinner and walk around the promenade. 2. The chef was kind enough to accommodate a modification request on account of my guests allergy Dislikes 1. The servers need to be pulled up for their sour attitude. 2. The food is plated and served, no thought into presentation of the dish. 3. Two air conditioners in the interior seating area stopped working. With all the tables occupied it was extremely hot and everyone started sweating. I rushed through the dinner and the door to breathe.

On the go is a good restaurant at race course Coimbatore. Nice place to meet friends and family for a get together. Loved the chicken clear soup and the non veg platter. Staff are friendly. Met my colleague for lunch in a weekend. Had a good time. Will visit again.

Yum food. We had to have veg because of fasting and they did not disappoint us. The pasta was the best and was super creamy.

Actually it was an unexpected visit to ON THE GO, and we didn't even saw the menu before entering the hotel. After coming inside, we sat down, and gotta see the menu and omggg everything was so costly, literally the base price is 399. So we had no option and thought of eating any SINGLE item. And we ordered the paneer tikka. And tbh, It was so tasty and mouth watering. We would visit in the future for sure❤️

Cream centre is a very ambient place with it's unique menu and food items for a different food experience! We tried their Big Nachos and their Italian Baked sizzler . Nachos was so colourful and flavourful with a blast of different flavours! Really enjoyed it! Italian baked sizzler is a must try as it was very delicious and filling. The cost is on the expensive side only..but worth a different experience and best taste!

Wonderful experience. Right from valet car parking to Bill Settlement. Food quality and quantity was really top notch. Trying to get table is difficult. But once you get your seats. The game begins chasing the waiter for orders. They are quick.. but if you are a large group or quick eater.. It will be really fun to sit down when you are hungry.. Overall we had a great experience.. We enjoyed a very similar experience in Chennai too..

Visited for dinner and the parking was full with a very crowded atmosphere. Among the various dishes, I liked their lemon chicken and lemon mushroom both tasted really good. However, nothing else impressed me. The prices are on the higher side and the service was just okay. In terms of dining, they offer both inside and outside options, we chose the inside, but it was extremely noisy due to the crowd. Overall, it's an okay place, but the dish prices are on the higher side.

Good restaurant with vairety of dishes. The place has nice ambiance during evening hours. Located a bit inside from highway. The place seems to be located inside a community. Food was good when last visited but recently my colleagues went and had an entirely different opinion that the items were bad and they didn't like it. Parking is available for 4 wheelers.

Nice place to have dinner with family and friends. The dishes were okay, but the desserts and beverages were very expensive. They didn’t even have the most common fresh juices, instead, they had options like cucumber and carrot juice, which were also quite costly for the meagre quality. The ambience was good. However, the security staff were somewhat rude to customers. The serving staff were polite and took good care of orders.

We had dinner here. We chose to sit out as it was gathering of friends and did not want to disturb the families inside. The food we ordered was decent, service was also ok. What really disturbed me was there were are a number of cockroaches where there is outdoor dining and when we mentioned it to the guy serving he just quashed it with his foot and pushed it away as if it was normal. Variety of dishes and nice setup for low light dinner. The problem is, it’s very noisy. If you are looking for a quite place, this may not be ur place. Tasted few dishes, and they were yummy. Starters and tandoori combinations are good. Chinese main dishes are tasting similar. Will have to try other dishes next time. A normal place for lunch and dinner. Has out door seating and looks good. Taste is 3/5 ., Quantity is 3/5. Service was fast.Nothing much to say as it was just a normal experience. Nothing extraordinary for me to try it out again. Has decent car and two wheeler arking parking area.

We went to Kailash Parbat for dinner during a festival, and it was crowded and rainy. There’s no entry to the restaurant from inside the mall, so we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table for two. We regretted our decision to come here instead of ordering pizza in our hotel room. We ordered Hakka noodles (3/5), chole bhature (2.5/5)—the chole was not good, as it had too much gravy—and tomato bruschetta (4/5). The service was quick, but getting a table took quite a while.

This place is always crowded Papdi chat 3.5/5 the papdi was more but the aloo was not properly spread. Every item we’ve tried so far has been impressive in taste and quality. The service is efficient and courteous, with staff doing their best to manage the crowd and maintain a quick turnaround. However, the place is almost always crowded, especially during peak hours. While the staff is polite, they tend to nudge you to finish up sooner to accommodate waiting guests. A great spot for a quick, tasty meal—but not ideal if you’re looking to relax and linger.

The food gave me food poisoning. The North Indian dishes definitely didn’t match Kailash Parbat standards. The ambience made the place look dingy as the seating was uncomfortable and lighting was close to non existent and the plates were dirty. The service was the only good thing. I have been to multiple Kailash Parbat outlets, and I’m a loyal patron. This is the first and only time that after and during my time in the restaurant u was disappointed. This outlet is not in line with the franchise’s norm. Y’all better step up.

I visited this place for a special occasion, and unfortunately, and had an unpleasant experience. I arrived with entire family around 6:30 in the evening and parked my car. I approached the parking manager politely, explaining that it was a bit early, and we weren’t quite hungry yet and so we planned to take a walk in the mall and return for dinner in about 30 minutes. I suggested that I could pay in advance ₹100 or ₹200 and have it adjusted in my final bill, just to make things smoother. To my surprise, the parking manager declined and told me it was only for restaurant customers, which I completely understood. What really soured the experience was the way he treated me—his tone was harsh and disrespectful, which felt completely unnecessary. I was being reasonable and polite, but his attitude made the situation bad. This negative interaction ended up affecting the mood of the entire family, and we decided to leave the spot altogether. And we decided not to return to this place. It’s disappointing when a simple request is met with such poor service, especially when you’re trying to make things easier. The whole experience was a letdown, and I regret choosing this place for our special occasion.

Visited Kove Restaurant in Coimbatore as a group of six and had a delightful experience overall. We tried a variety of dishes — vazhapoo kola urandai, yam galouti kebab, tawa milagu mushroom, kathal kabab, spinach peas dimsum, Thai green curry with jasmine rice, nasi goreng, and lotus biscoff cake. The kola urandai was a standout – crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was well-presented and flavorful, though some items were noticeably oily, which could be improved. The ambiance was pleasant and service was courteous. A good spot for trying unique vegetarian fusion dishes. Would love to return, with slight tweaks.

KOVE by Annapoorna offers an amazing dining experience! The food is absolutely delicious. Loved the presentation of the foods. We tried many dishes like Vazhapoo Paneer kozha urundai, Jalapeno Panner Tikka, Chettinad soya pal Rotti,Far falle Rose primavera(Pasta),Achari Paneer and Tandoori Naan. My personal favourite was their Kongu soya Tikka Pizza. We even tried their signature Mocktails like Mango mist, Guava Bliss and Orange storm which was also great. A must try spot.

Kove offers an inventive take on progressive Indian cuisine with wide influences ranging from South and North India to Asian and Italian touches. We ordered four starters and one dessert, which was more than enough for a hearty meal. The Blue Cheese Spinach Tikki had an earthy flavour — quite unique but my least favourite of the lot. The Chettinad Soy Pol Roti Bruschetta was a showstopper — a spicy, meaty soy filling layered over a crisp coconut roti with sambal-style heat, delivering bold flavours and great texture. The Jalapeño Paneer Tikka, stuffed with olives and coated in a fiery jalapeño marinade, was punchy and delicious. The Chettinad Pala Cutlet was packed with bold, spicy flavour and had a wonderfully crisp exterior — one of the most flavourful dishes of the evening. It was served creatively on a lollipop-style stick, likely made of jackfruit, which added a nice rustic touch. However, the stick had a small wilted brown spot — though inedible, it slightly affected the overall presentation and is something that could be improved for a more polished finish. .To finish, we tried the Dulce de Leche Verrine, a decadent dessert with layers of caramel, whipped cream, dark chocolate, and crispy puff pastry shards — rich, sweet, and texturally delightful. The ambience was stunning — a perfect blend of contemporary and cozy. While the service was a bit passive (we had to call the staff over a few times), they were attentive and warm once they arrived.

The food at Kove blew me away. The ambience is calming and welcoming. They have a wide selection of cuisine - Asian Italian Indian. The dishes are super interesting and presentation was beautiful and vegetarian. The mocktails and liquor selection was great as well. Needless to say the taste was AWESOME. Top this off with excellent service from the staff. Highly recommend if in Coimbatore.

The food was good. Ambience was very nice and calm. Some dishes weren't great like the dimsum. The bruschetta was brilliant, pepperoni pizza was nice, desserts were excellent. The staff weren't well versed with the menu and service wasn't good as one would expect in a fine dine. You request something/ask for something (warm water or how long for the dish to be ready) they go behind and give a mock which isn't appreciable thinking no one noticed them. Would definitely expect better service and definitely not visiting again for the hype about "fine-dining". If it's seen as a regular restaurant then it makes complete sense but with an expensive menu (portion to cost ratio). Didn't have beverages so I won't comment on their beverages menu and the bar service.

Kove is an absolute treasure in Coimbatore. First, the service is amazing. It all began with Guhan and his excellent and careful care for us. Second, the atmosphere is second to none. They were playing relaxing music, comfortable seating and an overall classy but calming ambiance. Then the meal started out with a literal bang! The Basiliac mocktail came out with a nitrogen bubble on the top. Then without any assistance, it popped and released a puff of smoke, seemingly announcing the beginning of our dining experience. Then the soup came. The teapot mushroom soup was absolutely delicious and the Tom Kha was fantastic. Each of the appetizers were unique. And the mains were very good. The Oyster Mushroom Curry had rich depths of flavor with its coconut base and perfectly cooked vegetables. The Mongolian Noodles are bold (almost too bold for me) with plenty of sauce that has strong sweet soy flavor. I hope to be able to visit the Kove again. If you’re undecided…just go and enjoy this fine dining experience.

I tried the parotta with the tomato chicken gravy. The shredded chicken gravy went well with their soft and flaky parotta. The gravy they gave was also mild and nice. The egg veechu parotta was nice and quite large. The pepper chicken leg I would say is a must try here. They have various soft drinks available but I enjoyed the pulpy grape drink.

Absolutely a must visit place for any parotta foodie. The Parotta is soft, fluffy and flaky but not too crispy. We tried the chicken tomato gravy but it was too tangy for our palate, it's a must try if too much tanginess is what you seek. Egg kothu parotta was good and even though the parotta was soft, it didn't cake up as it would in many cases, so kudos to that. The service was quick but it could be more responsive.

Taste- Really disappointed! Last month I tried at another branch that is located at VOC park. That time I tried pichu potta chicken gravy with naan. but that gravy was not worth. So, my colleagues reffered me to try at Rs Puram branch. Last week I tried dinner with my family. We have ordered chicken biryani, chicken kothu paratha and grill chicken also. But, biriyani tasted like no masala and flavour. Other items also medium taste only. In same road, so many hotels are there, i think they need to improve taste too little better. Burma Bhai in Coimbatore is a hidden gem for lovers of South Indian non-veg food. The Kolambu Kalakki is my absolute favorite — rich, spicy, and full of flavor. Don’t miss the purotta and salna combo; it’s a must-try and perfectly complements the meal. The pichupotta kozhi is another solid choice, tender and packed with taste. All this at an affordable price makes it a place worth coming back to!

We had a taste of their soft parotta paired with their signature tomato chicken curry. If you are into tangy flavours, the tomato curry is a must try ,but if you prefer something with a kick , go for their pepper chicken . The shredded chicken in the tomato curry is best enjoyed hot. The parotta's are light and fluffy and the accompanying gravy is decent. For starters, we highly recommend the onion pepper leg, which is pre-boiled and tossed in a flavorful mix of pepper and onion.

I had three idly(₹18 each) ith kudal kulambu(₹240) and egg dosa with nenjuelumbu kulambu. The idly and kudal kulambu was good. With good kudal pieces the gravy was pretty flavorful. The egg dosa was also good to eat. Overall a pretty good experience. The price however for the quantity they offer is exorbitantly high. It very expensive in my opinion!

We had lunch but little late so the briyani was not warm. We tried pot briyani, kothu kari and chilly chicken. The taste was just normal and I could sense the taste of elachi more. The side dishes were good. The quality could be little more for the price they charge. The ambiance was simple and the staffs were good are service. Overall experience was satisfactory.

I recently visited Ammayi Veedu Pot Cook and had an amazing experience! I ordered a variety of dishes, including porotta, country chicken kulambu, chest born kolambu, and idly. The food was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were rich and authentic. The porotta was soft and fluffy, and the idly was perfectly steamed and soft . The country chicken kulambu and chest born kolambu were flavorful and spicy, just the way I like it. The quantity of food was generous, and the prices were little bit expensive. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our needs were met throughout the meal.

However, there were a generous number of chicken pieces, including a leg piece. The chicken was fresh and tender. The biryani was served with two gravies and raita. I confirmed with the management that they cook broiler chicken biryani on random days." This is good homely joint. It's cleanliness & orderliness provides a homely atmosphere. The food is good, hope they maintain the standards without attempting to take any shortcuts in the future.

The ambience was pleasant and a good variety of veg and non veg options. The starters were particularly focussed on fresh veggies and i liked the Raw mago salad and the Bacon starter. The bread collection was fresh and a dab of Milky Mist Butter was a treat for the tastebuds. The non veg options had selected options of chicken and mutton. I have been a big fan of Taj properties for a while, until I visited the Taj Vivanta in Coimbatore with my family. We had a dinner reservation at their Latitude restaurant, which boasted a comprehensive menu ranging from traditional South Indian dishes to pastas, salmon, and steaks. It seemed like a good idea to take the family to Latitude for a change from all the Indian food we had eaten so far, especially since a five-star property is likely to have chefs well-trained to prepare any dish on their menu. However, we should have known better as soon as we stepped into the reception. The air was thick with the smell of cheap room freshener, reminiscent of a taxi that has seen better days. The floorboards in the restaurant were loose and creaked beneath us. You might wonder what this has to do with the food. Well, this property carries the Taj banner—a five-star establishment that has been around for ages, hosting presidents and queens and known for its attention to detail. We should have turned around then, but I thought perhaps the book might still be interesting despite its shoddy cover. Long story short, the steak was the worst we have ever had. We asked for a medium steak and received what looked like a crime scene. Out of morbid curiosity, we all tried it just to establish a new baseline for how badly an establishment could ruin a decent cut of protein. The spaghetti carbonara was a milky sludge, that made some of us struggle to suppress our gag reflexes. Frankly, a ten-year-old could make better pasta from a Kraft box. Our waiter misinterpreted our collective shock as positive feedback and asked us if the food was good; we clarified our disappointment. He brought the chef's attention to our situation, who apologized profusely, but the damage was done. If only the same effort had been expended in preparing the food we ordered. The five-star reputation of Taj imploded in our minds. The Vivanta at Coimbatore, in its current state, is an embarrassment to the Taj brand. Frankly, they should lock it up and hand over the keys to their competitor, the Residency, whose restaurants are far more deserving of five stars than this excuse for a restaurant.

Fish and chips - meh, bland 3. Norwegian Salmon - no flavour just cooked fish with mashed potatoes 4. Sandwich wasn't bad. Takes 30-45 mins from ordering for food to reach table. Avoid if you're in a rush. Friendly staff.

Hosted dinner for my younger daughter and son-in-law on the occasion of their wedding anniversary at Latitude. It was one of the best celebrations in my life thanks to the service of the dedicated staff working here, especially Miss Chanda who gave us very special attention. Wonderful ambience, the food was delicious and there was an incredible array of items for the buffet. If I have to choose, I will surely arrange all my future celebrations at Latitude!

Very Disappointed! Team dinner on yesterday night. Eaten vegetarian items. Butter Naan and Kerala parotta is good with paneer butter masala. We have tried dosa but disliked it. Other dishes are ok. Not worth for the cost. Very less quantity of menus. Too expensive. For fresh juice they are charging 400 rupees but taste is like water. But the service boy very good.

More than 1 restaurant under same space, one reflects a full veg experience whilst Sulthan serves beef as well & food is more or less made within same space. To make it worse, on way to wash hands you can briefly see the kitchen & regretted my visit instantly considering the hygiene. Considering it was weekend no manager on duty whilst possibly someone senior was on laptop throughout. Juice was only saving grace hence some points there. I won't visit again, nor recommend.

I recently visited Ponnuswamy Elite, and I was extremely disappointed with the hygiene standards. There were cockroaches spotted on the dining tables and in the nearby areas, which was very unsettling and unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that claims to be elite. This seriously raises concerns about cleanliness and food safety. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this issue and ensures proper pest control measures are implemented. Until then, I cannot recommend dining

A wonderful restaurant with excellent food and great service. This was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. The ambience is wonderful and the restaurant is very clean and well maintained. We ordered vegetable briyani (was excellent), chicken lollypop, ponnusamy chicken, sweet corn soup, vegetable fried rice, fish fry and mutton briyani. Nothing to complain as all the dishes were very tasty. We would highly recommend this place.

We had been eager to try Ponnusamy Elite at Brookfields for a while, and finally chose Diwali day for the visit. The ambience was decent, although Sultan's had a brighter atmosphere. Ponnusamy Elite aimed for a rustic village vibe with old utensils and pots on display, but it felt inconsistent with tissues, menu cards, and books placed there. The disappointment started with the limited lunch options on the menu; parotta varieties were only available for dinner. Both Ponnusamy and Sultan's menus were on the same card, offering the flexibility to order from both. However, all main course dishes were priced above ₹300. We ordered mutton briyani (₹449), chicken noodles (₹325), and dragon chicken (₹390). Unfortunately, the portions were unsatisfactory, especially the meager quantity of noodles, which wasn't sufficient for one person. While the taste was okay, both the briyani and dragon chicken leaned heavily on spice. The presentation of serving utensils left much to be desired. Even though my kids usually love dragon chicken, they only had a few pieces this time. The overall experience led us to the decision not to return due to the inadequate food portions. It seems the food court remains crowded, but Ponnusamy Elite didn't live up to expectations and wasn't worth the high prices.

Today we tried here. Actually food tasted good but then it happened to be toxic since we got stomach upset. Also we found plastic in biriyani and informed them. We didn't raise issue about it but after reaching home we went sick. Concerned person should take responsibility on food quality. People see the ambience and taste and step in with hope.

They behave like they own the whole space. Waiters aren't providing Pleasant experience and not providing enough attention once food is ordered. There's an incident where he showed rude face towards them(they were couples) but Instant Different face with the table who came with a family. I have seen Waiters are roaming freely but not engaging to the table to ask for further orders or providing extra Rice incase of Meals.

Excited to visit the Ponnusamy elite restaurant in Brookefields mall There are three restaurants of different cuisines in one place Jonah's and Sulthan's are the two others Fascinated with Ponnusamy's village pottery ambience and tried out Both Sultan's n Ponnusamy's menu were merged. We can order from either of them. All their dishes are priced above Rs 260 and ranges from Rs 260-500 Combo Briyani options are also available But there is a limited variety of dishes in their menu We ordered Chicken 65 Full Briyani, Naan with Butter chicken The quantity of the Briyani was so satisfying and the taste was about to die for. There were more than 12 Chicken 65 pieces in one briyani, well deeply fried and tasty.

It was a quiet and spacious place. We went for planning to eat Biriyani but it was too expensive and they also mentioned that it can only be enough for one person. Hence we ate Paratha and Karakudi chicken gravy. The chicken was not well cooked and for the price given it was quite disappointing. I would give - 3/5

Food, location and ambience is good. Came here for a takeaway and the staff at the reception took the order. I asked how how long it will take and she bluntly said sit and will be called. Any business would and need to gice an approximate timeline, it was annoying i could get to know the approximate time. Bad experience. The briyani and ambience was good though.

I am trying star biryani for the first time. The flavor was excellent and there were plenty of mutton pieces. The chicken 555 and clear soup were also good.

From the moment we were seated Mr. saga was attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations and ensured our water glasses were always filled without us needing to ask. The food arrived promptly and was served with a smile. The taste was exceptional. Overall, the dining experience was elevated by the server’s professionalism and warmth, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. I’d definitely return and recommend this place to friends.

Mutton biriyani is awesome. The mutton is so juicy flavourful and tender . Madurai chicken is first class and the Chettinad chicken soup also delicious. We are very much satisfied and our favourite hotel is Ambur star biryani.

Taste of food is not at all good. The hype given for this restaurant is completely falsified. Let it be any preparation , that has been made with a base non veg which has been already cooked. Just doing some alteration at last moment based on our orders. The spice or the ingredients would be used very high to avoid identifying such worst cooking. Please avoid having food in this restaurant where you would regret later. Only thing I felt little good was, the parrotta which was soft the day, but the kurma was worse in taste and quality.

We have to ask for each and everything like, spoon for fried rice, spoon to serve item, raitha was not served, we have to wait for long to get it served and even pepper for omlet, before it comes the main item becomes cool down. Service should improve and they should know what all things to be served with the required food. Otherwise taste is good.

I am a vegetarian and asked by someone to join for dinner. Was making sure I was served with only VEG curry. Garlic gravy and butter gravy are veg curry offered here. While eating, found a chicken piece in the gravy. When asked they said the sometimes it gets mixed. Someone in kitchen might do that. Not satisfied with the answer. Its my fault choosing it. Stopped eating and writting the review. Veg eaters please beware.

One of the famous place for biriyani in coimbatore city. Went for a lunch. Ordered Empty Biriyani and Suthu Koluppu. Biriyani was good as usual. Suthu koluppu also tasted good. Only issue was more of masala and oil on top of fat's oil. Chef should reduce the masala and oil quantity to keep the original fat's authetic taste. A good place to visit for a non veg feast. Quantity served against the price is not convincing.

The mutton biriyani and mutton kothu I had were absolutely incredible! Kalki truly knows how to impress with their flavors. This is a must-try for anyone who appreciates great food! Price is bit high.

Long wait to try this place is over. Most of the dishes tasted good, luckily it was less crowded but had only very few items. We have ordered empty briyani, kudal, chicken varuval and chilli chicken. Briyani was suttle and will be enough for single serve, Kudal tasted too good like home style, chicken varuval was ok and had more bones in it and chilli chicken was juicy which was fried properly and tasted good. Overall a good try. Cannot expect a great atmosphere at this cost.

Visited on 24/APR/25 The food is delicious and consistent which is a huge bonus. The biryani is adequately spiced and very tasty. Shrimp fry was a little too much oily but the taste was good. The ultimate is the chicken 65 boneless which was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth visiting.

My lunch at this restaurant consisted of mutton biriyani and parotta with kongu chicken masala. Biriyani was good, but I was literally disapppionted with their parotta and gravy. They were so bland and the quantity of gravy was not enough for even two parottas. The parottas were crispy but not flakey, and they were missing taste and quality. The cost was not justifiable.

I had one mutton biryani and tender coconut pudding. The biryani cost around ₹350 and pudding cost ₹100. The biryani had 3-4 soft and succulent mutton pieces. The rice was very subtle in flavor and it had garlic pieces. It was a very unique biryani than the ones I have tasted till now. Overall I liked it and it was a good experience. The tender coconut pudding was top notch. It just melted in the mouth. It had brown sugar topping which along with the pudding was really good. It's definitely a must try here.

Raaju Sri Rayappas Restaur offers a very nice traditional ambience. The interiors are well-maintained and carry a touch of traditional look, making dining here a pleasant and memorable experience. First, they will not respond properly. We are customers, but they act like we are begging for something from them. While cooking, I watched many times the cooking masters were using cool lips, hans, and many drugs with their hands, and they were not washing and continuously cooking the food, while on the same hand they were putting salt, masala, and everything. Many small kids and ladies are having food in this hotel. Please consider this and make a surprise food ride at all hotels in Coimbatore for future safety. Waiting for a parcel is not a big deal. After being tired of KFC, McD, Burger King accidentally stepped into this place with less to no hope but was fully surprised by their menu and the quality of the burgers. Loved their biggies original chicken it was out of the world. Their fries and chicken strips elevated the experience to a whole new level. Staffs are friendly, they do not push you to buy things. They take time for you to make your choice. Writing this review after my third visit! Keep up the good work team.

Hi.. Hope all is well.. Recently had been to the Brookes Mall for a movie in PVR Screens.. After the movie thought of finishing my dinner in a small way at the Burger King* being 9.30pm or so.. Not all that crowdy around that time.. Comfortably gave my order for Veggie single burger with cheese top & taco and Vanilla ice cream with choco topping.. Had in a relaxed way for about half an hour and gulp of warm water relished the food..👌Obliged to provide warm water after the bite and ice cream.. Each item costed about 70 bucks and my bill was 210/- only.. Not a heavy dinner either for my age, being a SC.. Quite good at service..

Had breakfast from Annapoorna yesterday. Tried 1 ghee roast and 2 set poori masala, the food was good and tasty. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, which made it slightly disturbing. Service could also be improved a little. Overall, a good place for breakfast.Price is also reasonable.

I visited this place with high expectations based on the reviews, but was quite disappointed. The place was overcrowded, and finding a seat was very difficult. I finally managed to get one and ordered Sambar Vada, but the vada was rubbery while the sambar was just average. The coffee was served without the right proportion of decoction, and when I asked for extra, it was brought after a long delay. Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory. 😞

Annapoorna is the pride of Coimbatore. No doubt in it. But it is pathetic that you are not serving the plates with banana leaf. Fresh Banana leaf provides a good aroma and healthy feel. I don't know how you are missing out on it. For morning breakfast, kesari or any other sweet is a must. But you are serving idly, pongal, dosa without a sweet. There is no onion, coriander, curry leaves in Medhu vada. Kindly make these small changes. Now a days Shree Anandaas and RHR are growing rapidly. I hope you do the changes, Thank you

The food and the meals are superb, mainly the fish types that are a must try here. We went here 4 months back this hotel was shifted from one place to another inside RS Puram. Honestly this place was not that good at that period of time. But vegetarians could stay away, I don't think this will suit for veg people. If you look around everyone will be having fish so it'll be awkward for you be there. But not this is completely different the other was taken quickly & the place was neat and the fish provided was good. Next coming to the meals at ₹90 the rice, chicken gravy, fish gravy & rasam was tasty and good (but it was a little waterish). If you visit here do try the fish types with meals that would fulfill your hunger. Visiting next time to try their other fish varieties, hope they maintain their standards & taste quality in the same way.

Sri mookambigai mess They serve the best seafood and mathi meen kulambu had the same authentic taste that I had in Kerala... Their prawn masala was an absolute delight. A must try. Also the crab masala was great. When it comes to seafood I am very picky in selecting the hotels. But this hotel had everything in perfect order. Just one negative point on this order was maanthal fry. No one could beat the taste of valarmathi mess. There isn't any salt and no crispiness. PS : I couldn't take the pics of meals, since I was too hungry to wait and leaf was a mess.. 😁

Biriyani was bland, raitha was watery Tikka was minuscule in size compared to the ones on display, Momo was too small and dry, (but the red chutney was delicious, only positive thing) Prices are very high for the value it serves.

I am giving 2 stars because it is very expensive for what they offer and the taste was not up to the mark. We looked at the sample food they displayed and then we placed an order but when the food arrived the quantity was much less compared to the sample. Don't eat here! The food was terrible. I ordered falafel and hummus- The 4 falafels were as small as carrom coins and the hummus was like it was not made with chickpeas...more like some paper. The shawarma was also bad. The man making the shawarma was handling food without gloves and when I asked him he said if someone tells him then he will put on the gloves.

Extremely horrible experience. Ordered Cheese Melt Paneer wrap for myself and Masala Chicken Tikka wrap for a friend. Received wrong order - both wraps were Non-Vegetarian and one wrap had some kind of sausages inside with cheese. Very disappointed. On top of sending incorrect items, they sent non-vegetarian item instead of vegetarian. I almost ate it accidentally. Also, my friend said that the Masala Chicken Tikka wrap they got was not very tasty either.

I heard the wraps from this place are really good but i wouldn't know coz they forgot my order. On a 14 hr train journey, they forgot to deliver my dinner. Don't order anything from this food chain (faasos, behrouz, lunch box, ovenstory). The amount they provide for lunch or dinner meals combos is very less. Minimum 2 boxes required for a single person, this food chain using our money for advertisements, they don't bother neither the qwality nor the quantity of food. Don't be fooled by the offer in swiggy and Zomato, even after availing 60% off the price isn't proportional to the food.
