Nestled in the vibrant city of Coimbatore, Arulmigu Eachanari Vinayagar Temple stands as a testament to the rich spiritual heritage of Tamil Nadu. This stunning temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha, boasts an intricately carved tower that showcases remarkable architectural craftsmanship dating back to the 16th century. As you wander through its serene surroundings, you'll be enveloped by a peaceful atmosphere that invites reflection and devotion.
Echanari Temple is one of the greatest Vinayagar temples I have ever visited. The temple features a magnificent, large statue that radiates positive energy. It is well-maintained, with a clean and peaceful atmosphere. There is a beautiful garden filled with lush green plants and flowers, creating a refreshing breeze—perfect for sitting and relaxing with family and kids. The entire place is filled with positive vibes. A must-visit temple when you're in Coimbatore!

Echanaari Vinayagar Temple in Coimbatore is a blessing. We visited during our trip to Valparai and were fortunate to attend the 6:30 pm pooja. The idol of Vinayagar is impressive, and the aarthi was a treat to witness. However, there was a bit of a rush, so if you're short on time or prefer less crowd, you might want to plan your visit accordingly. The pooja items outside the temple were overpriced; a coconut, two bananas, and no flowers cost ₹120, which seemed steep. Trustees to have temple own shop and provide reasonable price to devotees The temple atmosphere was serene, and the prashadam, Sakarai Pongal, was delicious. Parking was challenging due to the temple's location on the main road. Despite the pricing concerns, we'd recommend visiting with family and friends. Coimbatore residents are indeed lucky to have this temple nearby. Vinayagar Thunai! 🙏

Visited this temple during our coimbatore visit, this temple was suggested by Anandas hotel manager. The temple is located 12-15kms from coimbatore city. The Vinayagar idol is about 6ft tall and looks magnificent. The entire temple gives you a Devine feeling. There is a small garden and a marriage area inside the temple. Parking is available for 3 to 4 cars, there are shops to buy pooja items as well. this temple is located under the flyover and has continuous vehicle movement. This temple is special because many new bike or car buyers get their pooja done here. Many devotees also perform dristi removal ritual with coconut here. Nice place to add to your coimbatore list.
Radhakrishna P — Google review
Located about half an hour’s drive from Coimbatore, Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is one of the oldest temples in the area, dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple is known for its large, 6-foot idol of Lord Vinayagar. The Dravidian-style architecture, with its intricate carvings, adds to the temple’s charm. The temple is open daily from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM (straight - no break), and there are regular poojas throughout the day. According to legend, the idol was originally being taken to the Pateeswarar Temple in Perur from Madhurai, but the cart broke down near Eachanari. The idol became embedded in the soil, which devotees interpret as a divine sign, leading to the construction of the temple around it. The temple has undergone several significant updates over the years, with the first Kumbabhishekam held in 1977, and photographs from the ceremony are displayed at the temple. How to reach: • By car/taxi: It is about 12 km from Coimbatore city and takes roughly 30 minutes. (I was driving from Kerala via NH544 and NH968 to reach the temple) Note that the temple is located right by the roadside under a flyover, so parking can be challenging. • Public transport: Buses and taxis are available from Coimbatore, which is often more convenient due to traffic and limited parking.
Pradeep P — Google review
Small temple with very beautiful Ganesha idol Very close to road Parking not available it’s on road site It’s about 14 km from Coimbatore Must visit once
Mahesh P — Google review
Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is a well-known and highly revered temple located right on the main Coimbatore–Pollachi road. It's easily noticeable and accessible due to the presence of the huge and beautiful Ganesha statue that stands as the main attraction. The temple is peaceful and attracts devotees from all over, especially those traveling along this route. One of the highlights is the daily abhishegam (ritual bathing of the idol), which is done with devotion and draws a good number of visitors. While the temple experience is spiritual and calming, one thing to note is that the flower shops outside tend to overcharge for coconuts, flowers, and pooja items. It’s a good idea to be aware of the prices or bring your offerings from elsewhere if possible. Overall, it’s a divine and spiritually uplifting place worth visiting, especially for those who seek blessings from Lord Ganesha during travel or important beginnings.
Vanitha B — Google review
Arulmigu Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is a peaceful and divine place with a majestic idol of Lord Ganesha, offering a spiritually uplifting experience in a clean and well-maintained environment.
Desireddy R — Google review
Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is one of the most divine and powerful temples in Coimbatore. Known as the first god to pray before any new beginning, Lord Vinayagar here is believed to fulfill sincere wishes. The temple offers a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere with darshan available throughout the day, as it doesn’t close at noon — a rare and thoughtful blessing for devotees. Whether morning or evening, you can visit anytime until 10 PM and receive the Lord’s blessings. A must-visit temple for all seeking peace, success, and divine guidance.

Located on Avinashi Road, the Gedee Car Museum is a must-visit for car and bike enthusiasts in Coimbatore. The museum showcases an impressive collection of vintage and modern automobiles from countries like America, Britain, Japan, France, and Germany. Owned by GD Naidu, an esteemed industrialist with a passion for cars, the museum offers a fascinating display of well-maintained vehicles. Visitors can explore the history and innovation behind each car through informative displays accompanying the exhibits.
Just visited this amazing car and science museum! The car collection was incredible, spanning from colonial-era classics to modern marvels from the 2010s. Detailed descriptions for each model made it a treat for car enthusiasts. The science museum was equally impressive, showcasing vintage household appliances that gave a fascinating glimpse into the past. A must-visit for kids (and kids-at-heart!) to appreciate how far we've come. What truly impressed me was the impeccable maintenance of the exhibits - everything looked pristine and well-preserved. We spent around 1.5 hours exploring both exhibits and left feeling inspired and informed. Highly recommend!
Samarth H — Google review
Nice place to spend a few hours for car aficionados and kids. Well managed facility with staff to guide you all the way from the gate to the museums. At present, no parking available on site. If you come with family, you will need to drop them at the gate and park at the roadside across the highway and walk back.
Rajesh N — Google review
Good visit for someone interested in Cars and history of industry in Coimbatore developed by GD Naidu. You can go with kids thier see some basic science stuff like ,optical illusions, old tools used in compters like vaccum tube, transistors etc to spark their scientific curiosity. If you're visiting make sure you have ample amount of time at least 2 hours I suggest to fully view all the things. I visited only Car and Science museum not experimental museum so I cannot say about that but overall good for one time visit.
Rahul G — Google review
I recently visited a car museum and had a wonderful time exploring the collection. The highlight for me was seeing a stunning Porsche, an elegant limo, and a sleek Mazda. While I felt that the entry price could have been a bit more…affordable, overall, it was a fine experience. The cars were well-maintained, and the ambiance was pleasant. I’d definitely recommend it to car enthusiasts, just keep the pricing in mind.

The Gedee Car Museum in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is a unique automotive museum that showcases a vast collection of vintage and classic cars. Here's a brief history 12) (3: Founding: The museum was founded by GD Gopal in 2015 as a tribute to his father, Gopalaswamy Doraiswamy Naidu (GD Naidu), a renowned inventor, industrialist, and philanthropist. ASHQUAR — Google review
Don't go with high expectations, as the exhibit features only a limited number of vintage cars on display. However, there are interactive models of car engines and gears where you can observe their working mechanisms, by shifting the gears yourself, which adds an educational and hands-on element. The entry ticket price is on the higher side, so it might not feel like great value for money if you're primarily interested in a vast collection of classic vehicles. Overall, it's a decent spot for enthusiasts who appreciate mechanical details and history.
Venkatesh B — Google review
"Car Lovers, Buckle Up! 🚗✨" An absolute treat for vintage car enthusiasts! Not only are there countless classic beauties, but each one comes with its fascinating history. From cross-sections of engines to working models showing how they run, the detailing is incredible. You'll spot bikes shaped like cars, quirky 3-wheelers, and even royal rides – all under one roof. A must-visit for anyone who loves automobiles with a story!
Kevin N — Google review
I recently visited the Car Museum in Coimbatore. As a car lover, I was excited, but the collection was quite small — only a few cars on display. The entry fee is ₹150 per person, which feels a bit high for the limited number of cars. There’s no car parking available, so I had to park my car outside on the road. Overall, it’s a decent place for a short visit if you’re interested in vintage cars, but not a must-visit spot. 🚗

The museum showcases a rich collection of exhibits and artifacts, forests and wildlife, beautifully preserved and thoughtfully displayed. The attention to detail in maintaining the artifacts is impressive, offering a deep dive into the natural history of the region. The serene atmosphere adds to the overall experience, making it a peaceful and educational outing. If you are passionate about forests, wildlife, or simply enjoy exploring museums, this place is definitely worth a visit!
Naren S — Google review
The Gass Forest Museum is a hidden gem for anyone interested in forestry, wildlife, and conservation. It houses a wide range of preserved specimens, including rare wood samples, taxidermy animals, and historical artifacts related to forest management in India. 💰 Entry fee: ₹40 for locals, ₹200 for foreigners. While the price difference is significant, it’s still a reasonable cost for such a niche and informative museum. 🛎️ Staff experience: Unfortunately, the staff at the entrance seemed quite uninterested, which didn’t make for the most welcoming first impression. 🏛️ The museum itself is worth visiting—it’s well-maintained, has a lot of interesting exhibits, and offers a unique look at India’s rich forest history. It’s not a large museum, but if you enjoy natural history, botany, or forestry, you’ll likely find it fascinating. 🔹 Tip: The museum is relatively quiet, making it a good spot for an unhurried visit. Expect to spend about 1-2 hours exploring. Overall, it’s a great place for nature and history enthusiasts, but the experience could be improved with friendlier staff and better engagement at the entrance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Worth a visit, but don’t expect a warm welcome!
Marine P — Google review
A hidden gem in Coimbatore city. Visit to this museum will surely attract wildlife enthusiasts and others alike. The building is located around 500m inside a small forest away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Worth visiting. Entry fee is 40. Pics attached (May 2025)
Anil P — Google review
A fine collection of specimens of flora and fauna in the Indian forests, forest products etc etc are on display. Taxidermy mounts of few animals and many birds endemic to our region were the main attraction. The colonial building that houses the museum is itself an architectural marvel. The efforts of the founders of this museum is laudable in creating this wonderful gallery for young school children and nature enthusiasts. To see hundreds of school kids enjoying the wonders of nature on the day of my visit was very heartening. It's mind boggling to note that this Museum is 123 years old.
Mohamed N — Google review
A TRUE UNDERRATED SPOT in Coimbatore. For only ₹40 per person. A true hidden gem. It's beautiful. Quaint. And incredibly pleasant. The atmosphere is also peaceful. The insides. WOW. I personally enjoyed it a LOT. A variety of interesting exhibits including animal species, skeletons, vintage clothing, etc
Schlawg — Google review
A colonial wonder with clean surroundings in a deciduous forest. A good way to spend leisure time. A must visit for school kids. All in one place! Here there is more than just Flora and Fauna. There is forest produce like minerals and various kinds of timber. Moreover there are ancient wooden weapons from muskets to battle axes fascinating every mind. The only reason this fell back is that it has foggy displays encasing the Taxidermy mounts of Predatory Arachnoids. Overall a worthwhile visit for everyone.
Jai S — Google review
The museum offers a wide range of preserved specimens, including taxidermy animals, wood samples, ornaments and historical artifacts related to forest management. The entry fee is reasonable priced at just ₹40 Its an unique look at India's rich forest history. They atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, its filled with peacocks making it a good spot for a leisurely visit.

Very nice experience... We were exploring Coimbatore and accidentally landed up in this water themed park. It was a great experience. Pros 1. Less crowded. We saw only a very few people. Nice to have a good time with family members. 2. Neat and clean. Photos shared. They have enough staff to make sure park and premises are well kept. 3. Water quality - we were bit worried when we enetered the park. But water was crystal clear, only adequate amount of chlorination, no stagnant or foul smelling areas. 4. Staff behavior is very polite and supportive. They are readily available for services. No hesitation or delay in addressing our needs. 5. All equipments are quality products. Kids friendly. 6. Clothes and equipment inside shop were very reasonable priced. Cons. 1. Canteen is not fully functioning. Very limited range of menu. 2. Entry fee is little high. That may be a reason many people not coming. 3. Parking area is limited. We were lucky to get a parking space. Overall a must visit place in Coimbatore. Highly recommended to families.

"Our family outing was truly unforgettable! The kids were completely enthralled by the water games, and the dry games were an unexpected delight for all of us. What impressed us most was the impeccable maintenance of the facilities - everything was clean, safe, and well-organized. We had an absolute blast at this water theme park! The rides were thrilling, the atmosphere was lively, and it was worth every penny. It's a fantastic place for kids and families to spend quality time together, with plenty of fun activities for all ages. The wave pool was ultimately good. Everything was well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a refreshing and exciting day out!

Middle of December to a water park seemed crazy but was totally worth it! With a bunch of really interesting water rides this theme park was a surprise for us. The kids rides were also good. Loved the waterfall and water rides. The Maintanence of the changing rooms and wash rooms were average at best with lot of scope for improvement . The swimming pool was good but had sharp edges so be careful. The canteen served some really good tea and bajjis which we all loved ! All in all a sure shot visit if you have time to kill in Coimbatore .
Vijayshree M — Google review
Good place to visit decent games worth for money ...but collecting Rs.700 for 5 years old kid is not acceptable..complete dry games morning..play water games in the afternoon...water falls very limited time ...lunch time need to wait for operators ...plan accordingly

Kovai Kondattam is a popular water theme park in Coimbatore, and visitors generally appreciate its clean facilities and family-friendly vibe. People love the wave pool, water slides, and the kids' play area. Some reviewers have suggested that the safety measures and cleanliness could be improved, and a few mentioned that the canteen's menu is somewhat limited and the entry fee is on the higher side. But overall, it’s considered a great spot for a fun family outing. I'll give two star rating because ticket price is high comparing to other water theme parks,

Sree Ayyappan Temple, located in the heart of Coimbatore, is a popular attraction for both tourists and locals. Its magnificent architecture and historical significance make it a must-visit destination. Often referred to as the Second Sabarimala Temple, it bears resemblance to the famous temple in Kerala. The temple does not require entry tickets for regular darshan, with special darshan tickets available at a nominal cost.
Had a wonderful darshan here. This temple is so good managing to do all pooja as similar to Kerala Ayyappan temple. This is being owned by them. We could have a good feel while being here. This is walkable in distance from Gandhipuram bus stand. Must visit.

The temple and lord Ayyapa I Having lot of power to do good things for you… once if u enter into this temple definitely for sure good things will happen in rite time .. The Pooja which they are doing is according to vedha so the power of each and every Pooja we can’t say in words. Visit to this temple and feel the vibrations

It’s always a wonderful experience every time I visit Ayyan here. 🌺 Most evenings, the temple glows beautifully with lamps, and the Theparathana after 6:30 pm feels truly divine. Every afternoon and night, Ayyan’s Urchavar procession takes place — a unique blessing that makes this temple so special. 🙏✨

It's a mix of Guruvayoor and Sabarimala i felt .. Whats a vibe place you feel the positivity all over and they tried all possible ways to make the place clean .. the outside as usual messy . Coming from the entrance they have enough taps to clean the feet. Kettunira they have a separate place with good number for guru swamys guidance and its overall it's best thing . Overall it's the best place for peace of mind

Mild sidhapurdur Ayyappan Temple holds an intrinsic value in my heart. Its tranquillity and utter sense of peace is quite refreshing from our hectic lives. The temple is ancient yet well-preserved, showcasing intricate carvings that depict our rich cultural heritage. The serene ambiance backed by heartfelt religious chants truly sets a divine vibe. I've felt an intimate connection with my spiritual self during my visit. Would certainly recommend for a calming retreat.

I have been regularly visiting this temple right from the early days of its establishment. One will feel the divine vibe when one visits especially during the morning Seeveli. The rituals and the routine temple related celebrations make this place all the more vibrant, attracting both malayalis of the city as well as the tamils who revere it. In fact it has become a destination for Choroon and Wedding. A must visit, when you are in Coimbatore.

Wonderful ambience. Great temple with good space. Similar to temples in Kerala, at least for the Sasta (Ayyappan) shrine. It has opportunities to park on the road side at rare times. It is better to walk if possible.

This temple stands out not only for its spiritual significance but also for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Visitors are drawn to this sacred site by its unique feature: a natural water flow that persists throughout the year, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
A peaceful hill top temple. Calm and quiet atmosphere. The climb is not that difficult. There is plenty of parking space. The temple timing is from 9 am but you can climb to the top before that. The view from the top of temple is splendid. The architecture was stunning with intricate carving and peaceful atmosphere. It is a place where one can connect with nature, find peace. Temple is overall well maintained. Near the parking down, there is also a giant Anganeya statue which dominates the landscape.

The temple is located in the western ghats, we need to climb above 250steps to see the Muruga, Shivan is on the top above 30 steps. It gives peace of mind while visiting the temples. This place's maintenance was good. They have pure drinking water, daily Ananadnam free tokens is given after 12 PM. The crowd was less at 08 - 10AM & crowded on an auspicious day. Prasadham for devotee's is available. It is one of the famous temple of Lord Murugan . Mostly LESS crowded all the time. The temple is very pleasing at hill top vibes. The car parking is available at Ground. There are one shop nearby outside the temple entrance. It is a must visit one for everyone and you will get blessings. Public transport is not much available. Patience plays the vital role of worshiping any temple unless you're blessed .There is no ticket. Some more amenities can be arranged.

Beautiful tiny temple at a hill top. You would need to climb close to 200 steps to reach top. From there climb another 30 steps to reach Sivan sannathi which is the top most point. The views from atop is gorgeous and splendid. There's also a huge carpark area.

The place which lifts up your mindset. So far it's clean because of less crowd. Treat your trash right. Be responsible and just co-exist with the birds and animals without creating disturbances.

The TNAU Botanical Garden, located in Coimbatore, is a serene and expansive campus featuring a wide variety of trees, flowers, and plants. Established in 1925 within the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University's premises, this botanical garden spans over 300 hectares of land. Visitors can explore the well-maintained grounds that include greenhouses, a nursery offering plants for sale, and an opportunity to learn about plant husbandry techniques.
Good place to relax and spend some time inhaling some fresh air in the Garden premises. The entire area is having greenery and some areas are not well maintained and need some attention. Drinking water kiosks are kept at a couple of points. Entry fee is 50/-. There is a nursery beside the garden premises. The area is good for photography as it is having lush greenery and photogenic locations. We could see students from Agricultural University when we had gone. When we had gone there we could also see 'couples' having their time...What a more perfect way to relax under a shade of tree than any other part of the city???!!!😄😁 (July 2025)

One of the most beautiful + worst maintained place in Kovai. Some different species of worms / bugs starts to crawl on us, if we sit anywhere. Zero cleaning. There are so many natural plants / trees such that a minimal cleaning would encourage a lot of people to visit often, but not sure why it is not done. Fortunately, we had some drinking water facilities available in few locations. Hope this gets some better maintenance in the future.

Good nature spot in Coimbatore. 🌿 Nice place for photography — you can find many beautiful photo spots all around the garden. Peaceful and well-maintained greenery. But there’s not much activity or playing area, so it’s mainly good for walking and taking photos, not for kids to play.

Drinking water was not available when we visit. Few parts of the garden under construction. Maintain ence was good. Kids really enjoyed it

This place in kovai really beautiful but also poorly maintained if you sit anywhere you will start getting bugs and worms crawling on you the place is very dirty there are lots of plants and trees and if they just cleaned it a little more people probably come regularly. Not sure why they don't do that at least there's drinking water in a few spots. but beautiful space
Madhu M — Google review
The botanical garden felt very dry and low-maintenance, with little effort put into care of the plants. Even in the evening, when such places are usually lively with visitors, there was hardly any footfall.

Zoo
VOC Park and Zoo, also known as V.O.Chidambaranar Park, is a popular recreational destination in Coimbatore. It is frequented by locals for picnics and family outings. The park features a zoo with a variety of animals, including mammals, reptiles, and birds. Families can enjoy the children's play area, aquarium, and Jurassic Park section.
V O Chidambaranar Park and Zoo, popularly called VOC Park, is a compact zoological garden and amusement park in central Coimbatore, spanning about 4.5 acres . Established in 1965, it was managed by the municipal corporation and once housed roughly 500–890 animals, including birds, mammals, and reptiles . The park featured a children’s play area, aquarium, toy‑train, and a “Jurassic” dinosaur-themed section set within landscaped gardens . It also hosted fairs, cultural events and public celebrations on Republic and Independence Day, and contained over 200 tree species, including sandalwood . However, the zoo’s licence was cancelled by the Central Zoo Authority in January 2022, leading to its permanent closure and relocation of most animals to other state facilities. Plans are in progress to convert the premises into an aviary or bird‑park under municipal redevelopment efforts .

The VOC park has been a top spot for kids earlier. The zoo is no more available but the parks are now well maintained than earlier. Also there are a few spots to take some good pics.. you can able to see many bats in the trees inside the park. Also the best thing now is ,the double decker bus is available for free for the next 2 weeks which starts in this VOC park.

It's Good to have parks in the Center part of the city , But when we visited its not maintained well, The place is really big and Temple and mosque inside it are unique things , but when come to cleanliness it's not upto the standards. It's a small zoo but good to visit. Saw one of the most beautiful peacocks and pelicans from very close distance. They are the main attractions as not many wild animals, apart from crocodiles, snakes & jackal. Place is full of bats hanging from trees above.

Nice. But not maintained properly. It became so dull with some statue. But park was very big and good for walking. If they maintain well definitely it becomes popular.
Swetha — Google review
I am visiting this zoo every year since 2012. I see that the no of animals in the zoo are gradually reduced except crocodile and snakes. Very poor maintenance. It is surprisingly seen that the entry fee is still Rs.3/- only. There was a proposal to shift this zoo out of city limit for space problem of animals/birds maintained here as well as GoI's new instructions for Zoo. Half an hour to one hr u can spend there. Children will enjoy the animals and birds over there. And also it is a fact that animals and birds have to be there in its own habitats.

We visited Brookefields Mall in Coimbatore during our trip with friends. It’s a good place to spend some time, especially since there aren’t many other entertainment options in Coimbatore. The mall has a decent selection of shops for shopping and browsing. On the top floor, there’s a kids' play area which is quite good and helpful for families with children. The food court offers a good variety of food choices and is a nice place to sit and relax. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to hang out with friends and family when in the city.

Brookfields Mall in Coimbatore is one of the city's most popular shopping and entertainment destinations. I've got a detailed rating of this place below going throught all possible areas of approaches. Visited shops, checked peak hours, audience, parking space, aminities etc. 1. Ambience and Architecture Brookfields Mall has a modern and spacious design with a clean, well-organized layout. The mall is bright, with wide corridors and ample seating areas. It has an upscale yet comfortable vibe, which makes shopping and spending time there enjoyable. The mall has an elegant combination of both traditional and contemporary architectural styles, making it feel classy yet inviting. 2. Shopping Experience Variety of Stores: The mall is home to a wide range of stores that cater to various tastes and budgets. From global brands like Zara, H&M, Lifestyle, Levi's, and Hamleys, to local stores offering Indian fashion and accessories, you’ll find something for every shopper. It also has a mix of premium, mid-range, and budget-friendly outlets. Electronics and Accessories: For tech lovers, there are stores like Croma and Apple that cater to all your electronic needs. 3. Food Court and Dining Brookfields Mall boasts an extensive food court with an impressive variety of cuisines. You can find everything from fast food chains to more refined dining options. Popular names like KFC, McDonald's, Chai Wala (for tea lovers), and Gongura (for regional delicacies) are available. It also offers some nice sit-down restaurants like Barista, Tandoor, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, if you prefer a more relaxed experience. There's also a good mix of South Indian, North Indian, and international flavors to keep your taste buds satisfied. 4. Entertainment The mall features a multiplex cinema (PVR Cinemas), which makes it a great spot for moviegoers. The movie hall is equipped with comfortable seating, decent sound quality, and good screen clarity. This adds an entertainment factor to your visit beyond just shopping and eating. The mall regularly hosts events, promotions, and sales, making it a fun place to visit with family or friends. It's also a good spot to spend time with kids, as the Hamleys store and a few play zones can keep younger visitors entertained. 5. Customer Service The staff in the mall is generally friendly and helpful, though, as with any place, it can vary depending on the store. However, the security team and the mall management make efforts to maintain a safe and clean environment. There are ample parking facilities, and the valet service is a bonus if you prefer a hassle-free experience. 6. Location Brookfields Mall is situated on the busy Dr. Nanjappa Road, making it easy to access from most parts of Coimbatore. It's centrally located and close to important landmarks in the city. The mall itself is well-connected, making it a convenient stop whether you're driving or taking a cab. 7. Cleanliness and Maintenance One of the standout features of Brookfields Mall is its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities. The restrooms are kept clean, and the common areas are regularly sanitized. It’s definitely one of the better-maintained malls in Coimbatore. 8. Crowd and Timing Weekends can get crowded, especially during the evening. However, if you go during weekdays or early mornings, the mall tends to be quieter and more relaxing. Pros: Wide selection of stores, good for shopping, fashion, and electronics. Great variety in the food court and dining options. Clean and well-maintained with good security. Movie and entertainment options are an added perk. Central location with convenient access to parking. Cons: It can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends or during sales seasons. Some people might find the parking area a bit limited during peak hours. Overall Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Brookfields Mall is an excellent option for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Coimbatore. Whether you're looking to shop for fashion, catch a movie, or have a nice meal, this mall has something for everyone

Visited here for the candle light concert Likes 1. The property is beautiful and spacious. Very old charm to it. 2. Decent parking area to accommodate at least 40 cars . 3. The auditorium was well lit and ventilated. Even though it was a full house the temperature was comfortable. 4. The entire space was very clean and had a fresh scent, despite having a show earlier and was scheduled to have one after the 7 pm one. Dislikes 1. The sinage to the place needs to be placed strategically for people to notice it. If missed, one will need to take a U turn at KMCH head all the way to Jennys for another U turn and the reach here.

A hidden gem for art and culture lovers! This museum offers free entrance and showcases a thoughtful blend of modern and traditional art. I especially enjoyed the fabric exhibition, which explores the origins and types of fabrics in detail — from intricate traditional weaves to contemporary textile art. The curation is informative and visually engaging, offering a deeper appreciation of textile heritage alongside modern interpretations. Whether you're into history, design, or contemporary creativity, this place is well worth a visit. Bonus points for the peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff.

They had various collections of art, and all the paintings were so beautiful, especially the ground-floor paintings, I was accompanied by one of their employees and he explained most of the paintings and the stories behind them and it was very helpful to understand them better. They also had textile-related evolution scenes. Photography was not allowed. It was all clean and well-maintained.

This museum has many valuable art works , but most of them have no enough explanation which make stranger towards feels like boring. The museum also lack proper guide to explain history of everything. The textile history is explained over it's machineries. Don't expect any sort of variety of textile to be exhibited there. Overall the place can take 1 hour tour

Marudhamalai Murugan temple is a Hindu temple located on a hilltop at an elevation of 500 ft in the Western Ghats, about 15 km northwest of Coimbatore city. The temple offers an invigorating atmosphere and allows vehicles to pass through, with buses available for transportation to the top. Dedicated to Lord Muruga, it provides delightful facilities for visitors. Legend has it that the hill is a manifestation of Muruga and is surrounded by lush greenery.
A Peaceful and Stunning Experience at Marudhamalai Temple Visited Marudhamalai Temple and found it to be an incredibly peaceful and divine place, perfect for both devotees and tourists. The entire premises were well maintained, clean, and neatly arranged—credit goes to the temple authorities and the support of local people. We chose to walk up the steps to reach the temple, and although it was a long climb, the journey was worth every step. It became a beautiful experience, especially with my family. The sightseeing and the artistic wall paintings inside the temple were truly stunning—absolutely captivating. The vibrant colors and cultural richness made our visit feel very special. It was a colorful and spiritually uplifting day that we'll always remember.

A must visit temple that perfectly blends spirituality with the beauty of nature. You can either climb the 600+ steps or take the bus service available, but I highly recommend walking, it’s an excellent experience. Once you reach the top, you can truly witness the divine presence of Lord Murugan and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surroundings. If you are visiting Coimbatore, this temple is definitely not to be missed!

Peaceful and well-maintained temple Visited the Murugan Temple in Coimbatore and had a really calming experience. The temple is clean, well-organized, and has a serene atmosphere. The architecture is beautiful and the surroundings are quiet, making it a nice place to sit and reflect. The darshan was smooth and the staff were helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a spiritual break.

We will visit here atleast once in a month. You will find peace here. Situated in the hills, if you plan to visit the temple , and if you plan use the steps , you need to reach there before 5pm. Steps are closed after 5pm on all days due to elephants and chetah movement. Two wheelers or four wheelers are not allowed after 7 pm during weekdays and after 5 pm during weekends as well as festival seasons. Four wheelers are not allowed after 5 pm on any day. They have there own small buses carrying from hill bottom to top. But they too stop after 7 pm. Temple closes around 8 to 8.30 pm after Pooja's.

This temple is around 25 kilometres from Coimbatore, the entry fee to hill for car is 30 Rs. This place having limited car parking near the temple, so sometimes becomes difficult to get car parking here. There is a toilet facility there, the cleanliness is average. You have to climb few steps around 100 to reach the temple, there are two line for darshana one general darshana line and second one is special darshana line, the charges for special Darshana is 50 Rs. Per person. The temple situated at the foothills and surrounded by hills, it's a very spiritual experience to visit this temple. From the temple you can see bird view of Coimbatore city.
Makarand S — Google review
We visited the temple on a Friday. On that day, cars were not allowed to go up the hill due to the Krithigai festival, but vehicles with political flags were still permitted. If you are a common devotee, you’ll have to wait longer and face some struggle to get a darshan. Temple buses are available to take devotees up the hill near the temple, but you still need to climb a few steps to reach the main shrine. Senior citizens, patients, and differently-abled people find it difficult to manage this climb. Otherwise, the temple is clean and well-maintained, and some development work is in progress. It would be good if the Government or HR&CE department could improve facilities to help senior citizens and differently-abled devotees reach the temple more easily.

Went to this temple during my first visit to Coimbatore. This temple is located 15km from the main city of Coimbatore. The temple is at the base of the hills of western ghats. It is said to be over a 1000yrs old temple with visitors coming from all over India. I went on Friday evening, the experience of going to the temple was not pleasant as we had to wait at the foothills for more than 1 hrs just to go to the top of the hill. There are people manning the entrance of foothill with security. The stop vehicle movement and charge 20rs for parking. The foothills to the entrance closes at 7pm, even local bus service to the top closes at 7pm. Once you go to the hilltop, Darshan is available until 8:30pm. The place has not developed much. Lots of inconvenience for visitors. No proper parking, lack of basic amenities like public toilet, drinking water etc. Very limited shops near the temple. The only good thing is having darshan of Lord Murugan. We were lucky to see Abhishekam of Muruga as well at 8pm. Apart from that the place doesn't give a good temple atmosphere or a serene experience. Govt must take up the task of developing the place at foothills with hotels and shops for visitors. May be due to forest area and western ghats they might have restricted the development activities also. There are elephant movement at stairways when going towards the hilltop. Please be careful and do not litter the place. Try visiting during morning hours on weekdays for a better experience. Om Muruga. Vetrivel Muruganukku Arogara.

Located in Puliyakulam locality of Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, Sri Arulmigu Mundhi Vinayagar Temple is a prominent Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple was built in 1993 and is known for having the largest Ganesh idol in Asia, standing at 20 feet tall and 11 feet wide. It is considered a major attraction in the city due to this impressive stone-carved deity.
When I visited this temple, I couldn't stop myself from watching & getting mesmerized by the Gigantic idol of Lord Vinayagar (Ganesh). The idol is 20ft in height and carved out of single stone brought from Uthukuli town. The temple was built in 1982. The idol is the largest Ganesha idol in India. This temple is in the heart of Coimbatore city, ~1km from Lulu hypermarket in an area called Puliakulam. The temple is right in the middle of the main road. There is no dedicated parking here. There are vacant spaces adjacent to many shops to park 4 or 2 wheeler. This place definitely deserves much more recognition in Coimbatore traveller's list. A must visit temple in Coimbatore.

Sure! Here's a review you can consider posting on Google for Shanthi Social Services: --- **5 Stars** I had the privilege of learning about Shanthi Social Services, and I’m truly impressed by the incredible work they do for the community. Their focus on supporting underprivileged people through essential services like affordable meals, educational scholarships, and healthcare is heartwarming. The atmosphere at their canteen is especially uplifting, with their belief in "service to human is service to God" shining through in every meal they serve. It's not just about giving; it's about making a real, positive impact on people’s lives. While there may be some challenges, the overall dedication and positive energy of the organization are undeniable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to support or volunteer with a meaningful cause in Coimbatore. Keep up the great work, Shanthi Social Services!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shanthi Social Services in Coimbatore, and I must say, it truly exceeded my expectations. What struck me the most was the quality of food they serve. The dishes are not only incredibly flavorful but also made with fresh ingredients, ensuring that every meal is both delicious and nutritious. What’s even more impressive is the affordability of their meals. For such high-quality food, the prices are remarkably low, making it accessible to a wide range of people, regardless of their budget. It’s heartening to see such a thoughtful initiative that combines both generosity and taste in a community-oriented way. One of the standout features of Shanthi Social Services is their exceptional hygiene and maintenance. The cleanliness of the place is immaculate, which is quite rare for places that serve large crowds. It’s clear that they put a lot of effort into maintaining a safe and clean environment for their visitors, which really enhances the overall experience. It's astonishing to see thousands of people visiting this place regularly, and it’s easy to understand why. The dedication to providing quality food, at such reasonable prices, in a clean and welcoming atmosphere, makes it a standout in Coimbatore. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying meal with a genuine community spirit!

Giving people food for a very low price that they surely have to put their own money for the services. Please make use of it and bless those great souls from the heart. The only thing is servers are little tensed due to more people arriving (not their fault). I recommend people to adjust it and bless the souls doing the services. Thank you for reading.😊

This is good place to eat food, snacks, tea, juice. Very good foods and meals provided in this place with hygiene. We never got meals at ₹20 in anywhere in Coimbatore but they given in SSS. The food prices are low but the quality level is high. Good service from SSS. Must try foodies in Coimbatore.

Cock Ra Co is a restaurant that specializes in chicken dishes, but they also have a range of vegetarian options. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. The only downside is that it can be difficult to get a table on weekends, as the place becomes very busy. Overall, Cock Ra Co is worth visiting if you're looking for some delicious chicken food.
Excellent food & taste, Especially grill chicken and other food items are really awesome. Parking space seems to little bit tough to park during the peak hours. The restaurant size is really big and can accommodate more people Located in hot spot of RS Puram

Good food.. limited parking... Ambience is just normal.. service and hospitality could be better... Prices are fair... Most mainstream food tasted good.. Some of the dishes had raw masala smell... Juices are simply sugar loaded..

FOOD HERE, All kinds of food here is tooo too GOOD. But, the atmosphere and the cleaning definitely has to be improved. I saw some insects )on my table. so please kindly improve on the hygiene part. Clean the tables and your glasses and please ask the people who wait tables and serve water to hold the glass from below and not above. Please improve the hygiene aspect.

We went here for lunch, and had horrible food. The bill is attached below only the white rice and the rasam was good. The fish noodles were too oily, the parota was good for the price but the gravy was just water noo taste in it, same with ghee rice spices but still no taste in it, the briyani was just fine. They don't serve a single egg(omelette, half boil, full boil) all they give is 2 eggs so they can charge you extra ..that costs ₹55. Some people always prefer single egg that might be better So we had to wait outside for 10min, later after ordering food we waited for nearly 15min for our food, we had ordered one non veg meal and they still didn't give us the meals at first. Parking is difficult to find here and the waiting period as the patience we lost is in the food. Look into what you order specially, the desserts section has lots of ice cream and juice. Adieu
Karthikeyan M — Google review
The dishes we tried were Mutton briyani, Veg Noodles, Chicken lollipop, Mutton Chukka, Prawn 65. Mutton biriyani and veg noodles were good, but the quantity of mutton pieces felt less. No complaints regarding chicken lollipop, mutton chukka and Prawn 65. Prawn 65 was priced at ₹280 for about 160gms which had about 14-16 small to medium sized pieces.
Sathish M — Google review
The hotel has an unappealing appearance, resembling more of a warehouse than a proper establishment, and the service is highly disorganized. I strongly advise against ordering any seafood, as it is completely rotten and unfit for consumption. If you must order something, stick to chicken—just chicken.

Its most trusty non veg hotels in RS puram , blindly you can go and have food here , because past 8 yrs in am repeatedly eating here and never find any differences in taste and quality of thr foods , especially their shawarma, grill items are worthy and their amubur style mutton briyani and chicken Tikka is ultimate combination and must try

A good place around RS Puram for good food. We tried south Indian non veg meals with some starter. The taste was good but the price was little costly. The service was outstanding. Kudos to the staff. They were customer friendly and took orders cheerfully which can't be seen in such places. The ambiance was so clean and was maintained so well. No foul smell or anything. The place get crowded in peak hours of weekends. But there is enough space for waiting as well. Moreover a good experience. Might have been better if they played some slow music behind 😁

Pub
Restaurant
Bike & Barrel is a British-themed pub located in Coimbatore, offering a relaxed setting to enjoy draft brews, cocktails, and a variety of Western and Eastern meals. Unlike other nightclubs in the area, this pub tends to have fewer crowds, adding to its allure along with its stunning decor. With large wooden doors welcoming guests into the English-themed ambiance, it's known for its range of classic and state-of-the-art alcoholic drinks complemented by delicious dishes.
Well, I have mixed feelings about this place quite honestly. It was a Friday night and my husband and I got dressed up, ready to explore the city's popular night spot. Firstly we were very impressed with the interiors of residency towers. (much better than the Chennai one!) We entered at around 9 and realized we might have been early so we expected the place to get filled up by 10 or so (since they shut down by midnight). The bartender said Fridays and saturdays are the busiest nights (!!) but when we left at 11 15 we were still the only ones in the pub and there seemed to be no crowd in sight! The Dj spent around half an hour trying to make the lights and speakers work and we were getting restless cos he was yet to start playing his music. Finally he got the music going at around 9 45. I'll give this place a 4 star for the price of the food and drink. The drinks are strong and the price includes taxes. Which means I'm not in a big shock when I finally see the bill. Food was quite nice as well, though it took time to arrive. There is an unlimited supply of peanuts and chips. The place is clean and the Dj plays pretty decent music when he can finally get the speakers going!

TAMIL M — Google review
The pub has a distinctive vibe — underground setting, beer-barrel tables, glass-partitioned coves, and even a Royal Enfield bike hanging from the ceiling. All that gives it a retro + classy feel. God bar-spirits. Complimentary snacks like peanuts & chips are appreciated.... Underground, hidden feel adds a kind of exclusive touch.
ABIMA — Google review
I decided to visit this place since all the online articles were calling it Coimbatore's best bar. It's located in the basement of The Residency, and you need to take a roundabout way to reach it. I wouldn't call it a British-style pub exactly. I felt it was a mix of British and old-school American. There were beer barrels for pub tables. I loved the seating options. There are quite a few seats for single patrons, in addition to really comfortable couches and glass-partitioned coves. The Royal Enfield hanging from the ceiling certainly gives the place a dashing touch. I went there on a Friday night, right at opening time, and was disappointed to see only one or two other patrons, even until 9 PM. Shame really, because the DJ was really good. They have a dress code but I'm not sure if it's enforced because I saw guys in cargo shorts. The ladies' dress code is "suitably attired", whatever that means. There's a tiny dance floor in front of the DJ as well. Their whiskey menu is really extensive, heavy on the Scotch and American varieties. The cocktails are limited. I had an Edition Sour, and was surprised to know rum and red wine mixed well. I followed it up with a Lychee Blossom which was quite bland. They have a starter menu for food, prepared by Afghan Grill next door. I ordered the Lebanese mixed grill platter and was frankly disappointed. The options were banal and quite shoddily prepared. In fact, there was nothing Lebanese about it, it was plain Indian subcontinental. The prices are quite high in my opinion, considering the quality of the food and drink, and the fact Coimbatore is not a metro city.

Muthu and Rollin are great guys with great hospitality. Great music.
Sameer S — Google review
Chilled and relaxed atmosphere.. luxurious at that! Good menu. We didn't go with finger foods so can't comment on that. We were happy with the complimentary peanuts and nachos. The dance floor is empty so if you're looking for action (I mean clubbing feels) then this is not the place. But if you're good to lounge around on comfy seating with good music and conversation, then this I'd recommended B&B What I loved is you can head straight to Afghan Grill right after for some delicious dinner and call it a night ✅💯

Vegetarian cafe and deli
Nestled in a cozy corner, Shivanjali Cafe n Crafts is a delightful haven for food lovers seeking a laid-back dining experience. This charming eatery specializes in Asian and Indian cuisine, offering an array of vegetarian dishes that are both innovative and authentic. The menu features mouthwatering options inspired by Malaysian flavors, alongside comforting Italian and Indian snacks. One of the highlights here is the unique Paneer Soda—a refreshing rose-flavored drink that perfectly complements the meal.
Wow. It was a mind blowing experience, the food was special. Its the best food I have had in my life. The cuisine is inspired by Indian, Chinese, malaysian dishes with innovation and wonderful addition to the existing dishes. We started with the soups - amazing the simplicity and richness of taste is an amazing combo which is hard to describe. The sauces with additions of well thought out condiments and flavours were amazing to add to it all which are made in-house by a bunch of volunteers is hard to believe. The paneer spinach momos with the sesame sauce with its secret ingredient is hard to beat. The white pasta sauce, sabudana vada, curry Laksa, soya sate, pad thai noodles all were made to perfection. It's hard to believe that everything so done so nicely and served with lots of love and happiness. Even after a few days I'm still reeling from the experience. We could feel the love behind every dish that was served, the dedication to serve something unique and keep the customers happy. I'm blown away.
Kalyan K — Google review
I have been here few times and probably just to have something chill. Usually the Paneer Soda(rose flavoured soda pop) is my favourite. It's a different type of place, a bit laid back cafe. Kinda place where one doesn't check the watch! The whole set-up is done by a medical lady Doctor, so you know you're in good hands! The menu is based typically on Malaysian cuisine. Purely vegetarian of course, and a decent variety of Italian and Indian dishes too. Soups, pastas, chaats, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, very good choices. Very exclusive Malay dishes, Rice preparation, noodles and salads and all are very authentically prepared. It's a bit off beaten track, but the visit is worth it. And yes all this doesn't come cheap but the dishes, the presentation, the taste is worth it. Oh yes, about the service. Well I just hope other popular restaurant come over here to learn about it. It's not only about having food, it's an wonderful experience of having a good time!
Adithya C — Google review
Taste and quality of the food were good, but the prices were shockingly high. ₹500 for a tiny 4x4 inch lasagna is outrageous, especially considering the small portion sizes. For the location and type of food, the prices are just unacceptable. Service was also very poor. Not a suitable place if you are going with a party of more than 4. We were 14 people. 6 entrees were served in 2 hours.

Simple and authentic restaurant serving Asian cuisine along with some Indian snacks. I love that they serve their soups and chutneys in steel plates. Everything we ordered tasted unique and delicious. The chocolate cake and banana pancakes were delicious
Aparajita R — Google review
Food and ambience was very good. But the helpings were very less for the price quoted. The worst part of it was their service. We had to wait for a few hours and cancel a few dishes at the end because they were taking forever. This was after waiting for 15-20 min for getting a table (inspite of making a reservation). Do not visit this place if your group size is more than 4. Opt for weekdays and best to avoid weekends.

Quality of food is amazing, and the varieties of dishes are nice. Definitely worth the money, especially as it is also helping towards a charitable cause. Have gone here more than 15 times and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a go with Malaysian cuisine, Indian cuisine and more. Waiting time for each dish is moderate and reasonable taking in account the quality of food. Especially recommend the Mee goreng noodles.

Amazing place to know more about insects. The guidance of the staffs is not proper. This museum repeats so many insects in different place. This is an ac museum. They have arranged insects in different shapes. The museum is in the shape of an insect. Then there is an auditorium in which they will show the movies of insects. Only once if you visit is enough not more than that. Live bees are kept. Even nepenthes plant also....

The bright interiors and extensive menu offer homestyle culinary treasures from Tamil kitchens, with skewers of prawns and chicken grilled to perfection. The place is always packed with foodies seeking the authentic taste of South Indian curries and Biryani in a warm and comfortable ambiance.
A Flavourful Experience Worth Repeating – Junior Kuppanna at its Best! Visited Junior Kuppanna, Ram Nagar, Coimbatore yesterday for both lunch and dinner, and I must say—it was an unforgettable culinary journey! The Mutton Biriyani was absolutely mouthwatering, cooked to perfection with tender pieces and rich, aromatic spices that left a lasting impression. The Chicken Special Curry was another highlight—perfectly spiced, flavorful, and paired wonderfully with the rice and parotta. Awesome mutton Nalli curry. A must tasted item. To top it off, I had their mind-blowing lime juice, which was just the right refreshment to balance the bold South Indian flavors. What made the experience even more special was the warm hospitality of the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and ensured that every moment spent at the restaurant was comfortable and enjoyable. We have to ask for each and everything like, spoon for fried rice, spoon to serve item, raitha was not served, we have to wait for long to get it served and even pepper for omlet, before it comes the main item becomes cool down. Service should improve and they should know what all things to be served with the required food. Otherwise taste is good.

If you're looking for a great dining experience in Coimbatore, Junior Kuppanna is a fantastic choice. The restaurant is well-known for its delicious and authentic Kongu Nadu and South Indian cuisine, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Food: The food is the highlight of a visit to Junior Kuppanna. Their menu is extensive, but the biryanis are a must-try, especially the Mutton Biryani made with tender meat and aromatic seeraga samba rice. Other highly recommended dishes include the flavorful Chicken Pallipalayam, Mutton Nalli Fry, and the Aatukal Paya (goat leg stew), which pairs perfectly with their soft parottas. Every dish is prepared with rich, authentic spices that showcase the best of the region's culinary traditions. Service: The service at Junior Kuppanna is consistently excellent. The staff is known for being friendly, courteous, and attentive. They are quick to take orders and ensure that your food is served promptly, making for a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you can expect to be well taken care of. Location: Junior Kuppanna has several branches across Coimbatore, including popular areas like Peelamedu, Ram Nagar, and Singanallur. This makes it a convenient option no matter where you are in the city. The restaurants typically have a cozy and inviting ambiance, with comfortable seating that's perfect for a meal with family or friends. Many of the locations also have parking available, adding to the convenience. Overall Recommendation: I highly recommend Junior Kuppanna for anyone in Coimbatore looking for a memorable and authentic non-vegetarian meal. The combination of good food, great service, and convenient locations makes it a top choice. It's an ideal spot for a casual lunch, a family dinner, or a gathering with friends. You won't be disappointed!

Dharmalingamalai Shivan Temple, a more than 500-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, is perched atop a 300-meter-high hill. The ascent involves navigating over a hundred steps and rocky inclines in a forested area teeming with peacocks and monkeys. Pilgrims often visit during Pournami for Girivalam, or circumambulation.
Under Construction Temple. Located in a place called Madukkarai. Temple easily reachable from Railway Station and Bus Stop. Frequent buses available from Coimbatore Gandhipuram bus stand. Not recommended to visit on summer days as limited shops available on the way. Rest areas and drinking water available on the path way. Temple authorities keeps announcing in mike to vacate us and not to stay for long hours, which means we have to visit and come down and cannot spend time like in Palani Temple. Good vibe and view on Hill Top. Almost no crowd during my visit on Weekday. May become like Palani in future. Parking, Toilet facilities available. Now some new works done, so place looking neat and clean. On pournami days, they give annadhanam – free food unlimited, tasty also. Full devotional feeling there. Parking space also mostly available. Overall, very calm and spiritual place. Must visit for shiva fans

Dharmalinga hill is located in Marappalam, Coimbatore. The Temple area is part of the reserved forest area, so timings are followed very strictly. This is one of the temples where people going Pournami Girivalam around 3.5km in the hills. The average time taken to finish the Girivalam is 45 minutes to 1 hour. Girivalam is allowed only on the mentioned dates up to 4.30pm. Sometimes Pournami falls in 2 days, Kindly see time and date of Girivalam mentioned in the flex is followed. After finishing the Girivalam "Annadanam " is provided. All these are maintained by a private temple committee member. To claim the top of the temple it will take 20 to 30 minutes. In the top only Shivalingam is worshipped, no ambal temple here. It is believed that the Shiva lingam is worshipped by Dharma(one of the Pandavas). Same time Beema is staying on the ground to monitor to protect against any disturbance in the pooja. In the way of Girivalam Beema's footprint is curved in the stone. Great temple.

Overall, the temple gate is well-maintained with convenient amenities such as parking, restrooms, and informational boards. The climb starts from the base location, with clear guidelines displayed. Although footwear policies may not be explicitly stated, it's observed that most climbers go barefoot. The climb consists of approximately 1000 steps, offering breathtaking views throughout, including the Madukarai train station and passing trains. Rest areas with shades and water pipes are provided along the way, enhancing the overall experience for devotees.

Around 900 Steps provided from Bottom to Top hill. Only Steps are there and Shades provided to take rest. Entire surrounding is located with Greenry & hills. "Shiva Shiva" Gigantic Logo (Symbol) visible from High way Road. Timings from 6.30Am to 12.30Pm and 3.00PM To 5.30Pm (with closing timing for deity). Timing to be confirmed during the visit from temple Website. Animals may be availabe after 6.00PM on the way , may be the reason to close the Temple early in the evening. Better timing to start early at 6.30Am , appx 30 minutes required to reach the Top hill. Otherwise due to intense sunlight , heat will be on steps , difficult to walk. During my visit , Temple renovation was going on , preparing for Kumbabhishegam which is nearing shortly. Mist will be noticed during rainy seasons & Winter. Crowd available on Mondays & Saturdays , also on festival or celebration days. Otherwise crowd will not be there on reqular days. "Girivalam" (walking around the Hill , appx 4Kms ) allowed only on Pournami days (to be confirmed with Temple Office). Health conditions should be taken care during climbing the Hill , due to sweating & suffocation at higher altitudes . Everyone should plan to visit Dharmalinga Temple for getting the Blessings. Meditation can be done at the Top hill, which will give peacefullness . On the way to Top , Siddar (Idol) sannadhi is there , Powerful place to get blessing from Siddhar. Transport facility like Town bus, KSRTC bus, Taxi, Auto....are available, as it is located on the Main Palakkad High way.

A food court with a variety of eateries serving local and global meals and desserts.
A lot of food options you might get confused about where to start with. There are Idli shops with kudal kolambu, ice cream shop, Jigarthanda shop, chat shop, Parotta shop, beef point, Kebab shop and Chinese shop, rose milk shop and Bao Bao too along with Dosa shop
Sam T — Google review
Tried Mr.Pork at Food Street Fiesta. Must try if you are looking out for non Chinese Pork dishes in Coimbatore. Tried Kanthari Pork semi dry and Pepper garlic semi gravy. Authentic flavour. Good portion size for two. Near ambience and hospitality was nice. Moderately priced. 100% satisfied and recommended.

It’s not a single shop, it’s a collection. Very lovely atmosphere and best time to spend here during evenings. Not only main dishes but also many chats are available too. A peaceful environment to spend to friends and parking area is wholesome. Must visit for people who are confused what to eat.
Akathiyar I — Google review
This food street mainly attracts students and locals, as it's located in a central area with ample parking space. There are many shops offering a wide variety of food, including ice cream, kunafa, chaat items, and main courses. It’s a lively spot where you can spend a pleasant time with friends and family.
Vanitha B — Google review
Recently, we visited the food street. After our dinner, we tried rose milk; it was amazing and great value for money. We got a 650ml big cup for the price of Rs 40. It's one of the must-try items in Food Street Fiesta.
Abinesh R — Google review
This food Street is on par with food Streets in Chennai. Place was clean except the washroom which they have to improve. We went on a weekday evening and the there was a decent crowd. I will definitely recommend to visit here to have variety of foods at one stop.
Adhithya A — Google review
It's a great joint to enjoy the food. Leisurely taste the different variations of main course and chats as well. Don't forget to taste the beedas. Nice place to spend time in the evenings with friends.

Ample amount of parking, still be sooner to get ur space. Tables are less when it is crowded. Live screen is Fun for big set of screen time lovers. Fit for Family and friends for sure. Less shops when comparing to any other food streets so far i visited. Dont think Brand is not what is the need for the hour, but more options and good food. Few clicks from Dosa Hub, Cream and Fudge

Tiki Tako Pub is a Hawaiian-themed nightclub located in Coimbatore, offering a vibrant tropical party atmosphere. The venue boasts quirky decor and hosts weekly-themed parties, featuring India's first LED dance floor for guests to groove to upbeat tunes. With a spirited ambiance and a well-stocked bar, it provides an unforgettable night out experience. Visitors can indulge in the unique culinary offerings such as the crispy burnt garlic chili garlic stem starter.
One of the best resto bars in town – amazing cocktails, super-friendly staff, and a classy atmosphere. Jesvin,Suman, ratheesh, ❤️🥃
Vengatbartender O — Google review
Service was the best I've had in india so far. The bar is well stocked with a wide variety for all booze drinkers. The food here is good quality as well. I ordered the chicken nachos and while I enjoyed it the type of chips they used was not my favorite. I think they used doritos or similarly seasoned their chips, but I prefer a plain salted corn chip. That said the music. The staff and the drinks are killing it!
Josh W — Google review
Tiki Tako Pub 🍻 is located inside of Hotel Park Elanza, #Coimbatore. Free wallet parking at Hotel Park Elanza. This was my first time going to Hotel Park Elanza and to Tiki Tako Pub 🍻. Tiki Tako Pub 🍻 is located in the basement. It looks to be a place where young people meet regularly. We went here as part of our school's 26th year reunion. You can either take the lift or go down the stairs. We visited Tiki Tako Pub 🍻 on July 26th, 2025, as a group of 8+ friends. Kids are not allowed in the pub. The experience was underwhelming. A night club in #Coimbatore with a different atmosphere. Service was okay-okay. We called attendants ourselves. Staff did not check-in voluntarily. Food 🍽️🍖♨️🔥🥩🥓🍳 was okay-okay, but ambience was different. DJ music 🎶🎵🎧 was not upto the mark. Music 🎶🎵🎧 should improve. There is an entry fee. Me and my friends had a pleasant evening. The bar 🍻🍺🍹🍸🥂 is okay stocked, but could do with more variety. As is with all hotels, beverages are very expensive. There is no side dish, the exception being a bowl of peanuts 🥔🥜. The food 🍽️🍖♨️🔥🥩🥓🍳 options are also costly; its quit okay. A kind of different ambience. Not much like ones in other places/cities. Inside, the Tiki Tako Pub 🍻 was empty when we reached there, but became overcrowded after an hour. This left little space to move and goove comfortably. Dance 💃🏻🕺🏽 floor is way too small for the number of people that flowed in afterwards. This raises serious concerns about safety. Food 🍽️🍖♨️🔥🥩🥓🍳 and beverage 🍻🍺🍹🍸🥂 prices are high. Pricing strategy places profit more than customer experience. Management looks to be focused on congestion rather than quality. Overall, vibe was chaotic and commercial. An okay place to get a first-time feel for a pub.
Devesh P — Google review
Tried here with friends .. beer is very very expensive Rs.600/- and there is no side dish except a plate of peanuts 🥜. food menu also are quit costly and taste is quit ok. A kind of different ambience you can feel nothing than that. Not much recommended to visit here.
Arun L — Google review
Food was good and ambience also nice. DJ music was not that good in evening time. Music vibe should improved. There is a entry fee and it is redeemable.

Sourav S — Google review
Too Costly, Too Crowded: A Night to Forget at Tiki Tako We visited Tiki Tako Pub on April 12, 2025, as a group of four friends, and the experience was quite underwhelming. The entry fee alone is ₹1000 per person, which feels excessive considering what followed. Inside, the pub was overcrowded, leaving little space to dance or even move comfortably. The dance floor is too small for the number of people allowed in, raising serious concerns about safety. Food and drink prices are unreasonably high—a single serving tin of beer costs ₹500, and half a tandoori chicken is priced at ₹700. It’s evident that the pricing strategy prioritizes profit over customer experience. The management seems more focused on crowding in people than maintaining quality. On top of that, service was poor—we had to call attendants ourselves, and no one checked in voluntarily. The overall vibe felt chaotic and commercial, lacking the premium pub feel. Compared to other pubs in Coimbatore, this one was disappointing in terms of pricing, service, and ambiance. If you're planning to visit, we highly recommend going through recent reviews first and deciding if it suits your vibe and budget.

Great ambience, good music and delicious food. Mr.Ratheesh attended to our needs and request very well, Thanks to him. It is a wonderful place to check out. Our Friends had a pleasant evening. Periyakulam Lake Boat House is a fantastic destination for those seeking an exhilarating escape from the usual temple visits and nature trails. Nestled near Ukkadam, this vibrant waterfront adventure hub offers a plethora of water activities, including jet skiing, aqua cycling, speed boating, and pontoon rides. It's an ideal spot for families, couples, or groups looking to inject some excitement into their day.
It was super exciting to watch the boating here😹🔥. There are 2 types of boating. One is slow pedal boating and the other is using engine whose speed is very fast and it splashes the water everywhere it goes😹😹. I have attached the video below. Nice place to visit in the summer (sunny weather).
Aakash R — Google review
I’ve visited this place many times. It’s a peaceful spot, perfect for a simple walk or just to roam around. A small treat for nature lovers right inside the city, with beautifully designed artificial landscapes. However, some improvements are needed in waste management, and visitors should be more aware and responsible in keeping the place clean. It’s an ideal spot for kids — they’ll surely enjoy the play equipment and outdoor games. The overall environment feels happy and refreshing. Whether you’re a child or an adult, anyone can come here, take a walk, and leave with a smile. I personally enjoy this place every time I visit, mainly because of its calm and pleasant surroundings. If you're someone seeking peace, just head there and inhale the happiness-filled air.

Orange I Coffee Shop, located in the lobby of Le Meridien, is a fantastic spot to enjoy live music and funky tunes. The owner is known for being extremely friendly, and the menu offers a variety of milkshakes, fresh fruit juices, pastries, and veg snacks. It's a great place for kids too. With tasty sandwiches and the must-try Royal Falooda, it's an excellent hideout for a cold one.

They have a good menu that includes a variety of tea and coffee (with and without milk), sandwiches, burgers, fries, salads, desserts, milkshakes, and mocktails. All of their food and beverage taste good, and are appropriately priced. However, I was quite disappointed today when they did not have a lot of their items, specifically those that included chocolate as an ingredient (hot chocolate, brownie, etc.) Also, it took quite a while for someone to clear the table. Their attention to the customer could be a little better.
