We were taken to our room which was a nice touch and told about local services if we needed them. Our room overlooked the courtyard, really good size and we had a bathroom with own shower. Once at the Elephant crossing the welcome is warm and friendly, the service is second to none and the atmosphere is fantastic. Staff were a bit hit or miss. Walking in I was encouraged by the bottles of Cholula on the table. However if you’ve eaten tacos in Mexico or throughout the southwestern USA you may find that the whole the menu looks interesting the fusion falls slightly short ending with a mediocre meal - but at least it doesn’t break the budget. We had an amazing meal at the Elephant Crossing. We decided to recreate the platter and had multiple dishes. Our server recommended some of our dishes and she chose really well.
