Plenty of seats available and waitress pleasantly and professionally seated us for our request for a table of two. We finally got service and the food came out in like 5 minutes which was very surprising. The first slice of pizza was really nice when it was hot and freshly made. I got the pumpkin pizza and it was good except there were way too many pine nuts that it was overpowering. I had to take them off to enjoy the rest of the pizza. Icecream was so melted by the time the staff member mixed it she needed to put the regular I ordered into a large cup. She had also made too much so threw some out, meaning we paid for mix-ins we didn't get. The Cafe is lovely, with excellent coffee from Coffee Cartel Roasters. The homemade gluten free cake was hands down one of the best orange and almond cakes I've had in my life. The only downside of this Cafe is that it's far out in Ballarat - a bit too far a drive for a Melbourne local to be a regular visitor, but would definitely recommend a stop in if you're coming out for a visit.
