While visiting Sedona we met some friends at ChocolaTree Organic Eatery for dinner. This was out first time eating here and it was very good. I had the Sedona 2012 Enchalada and my wife had the Margherta Pizza, both made vegan. The enchilada was excellent and the pizza was very good. I like that all of their ingredients are organic. I recommend ChocolaTree Organic Eatery to anyone visiting Sedona and to locals.

The BEST place in town!! The bakery has treats I can actually eat and they are wonderful. I stopped for a treat every day on my vacation! I haven’t had table sugar in years and it was refreshing to have a ton of options that tasted sooooo good. That chocolate cookie was the best thing I ate all week. Highly recommend the butterfinger -better than its namesake! The burrito was excellent - also as leftovers. All staff was so kind and helpful and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. It was great as a visitor and I could see myself hanging out here if I was a local.
Big thanks to this business for being here. Not only do I get real treats, but I can eat here worry free as a vegetarian who chooses gluten free and limits some foods for sensitivities. I looked forward to eating out!

i heard about this place a few years ago while staying at Hannagans Meadow. we ended up hanging out with the owners and we were talking prickly pear jellys and such when they told us they own an ice cream shop in Sedona with prickly pear ice cream...fast forward a few years an i'm finally in Sedona. i promised to stop if i was ever in the area so i did (side note trying to find parking to get here was super frustrating) got the hot dog and a cup of prickly pear ice cream. the hot dog was not what i was expecting (you know basic dog on a basic bun) but man was it GOOD! it was stuffed into a bun like bread thing with everything inside. the prickly pear ice cream which i waited years to try? over the top yummy! I'm so glad i didn't give up on finding a parking spot! the place is tiny and had a long line but it moved pretty quick. it only has a few tables that seat 2 people each...to go is the way to go (ate the hot dog there but took the ice cream to go). forgot to take pictures until we were walking back to the car and had already gotten through half the ice cream!!

Staff was so friendly and made our experience! We stopped in for an ice cream for one, as one of us has food allergies. They heard us mention it and shared they had a dairy-free strawberry sorbet in back specifically for allergies. I enjoyed the home made whipped creamed and blueberry scone. But I could not believe the service nor the way the gentleman was looking at me from the side. He was peaking out to see as if I was going to take something.
The older blonde woman kept walking away and every time she came back I would have to give her another thing I wanted for my order and she kept saying that cost extra.
I love Sedona and I come here so often that this particular experience made me a bit sad. I felt profiled for the way I was dressed and color.

We went to Mariposa at night, and the drive up to the restaurant was beautiful. The setting is very classy, with gorgeous outdoor areas and a refined, contemporary feel inside—though it’s a bit on the dark side indoors.
Our servers were excellent—very nice and patient as we asked lots of questions about the menu. The food overall was quite good, with some real highlights: the elote empanadas were delicious, the vaquero steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, and the prickly pear cheesecake was lovely (though you couldn’t really taste much prickly pear). We also tried the pork chop and chicken entrées—both good, though nothing to write home about. The service- Great. Lance was our waiter and he was very friendly! He definitely made our experience memorable. The staff was great. I had the sea bass it was good. I expected outstanding. The drinks and desserts were outstanding. Amazing food! Busting with flavor. Both my husband and I love to cook and cook quite well imo so we are quite picky when we go eat at restaurants . So it is an extremely pleasant to say that the foods we had at The Golden Goose was the best we had in years. The desserts were amazing as well. Chocolate cake is to die for, definitely for chocolate lover, so rich and not overly sweet.
The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful with food suggestions. She checked on us and made sure we’re happy with everything.

The Trash Can Nachos were very good, but the rest of the meal was not worth the price you pay. Its a great restaurant with a great view with outside seating. And great atmosphere. The View of the mountains was extraordinary . After the 2 hour drive we finally made it. The next morning I was going to toast up these buns and found mold all over them. I do not think that day old bread should go moldy that quickly. I went back to the shop, trying to get an alternate item that could be enjoyed and the service I received was horrible. The person on the counter (not the same person we purchased from) was blaming me for not alerting the shop immediately after finding the issue and only reluctantly let me pick another unspoiled item from their 1/2 price shelf as an exchange. Service was fast and friendly but it is a very small shop(location w/out ice cream) with no indoor seating. Had the salted caramel cheesecake and the mango passion fruit cheesecake. The mango passion fruit topped piece was topped with a sort of gelee that was the best tasting fruit dessert I have ever had....but the topping on the caramel was bordering too rich to eat. I could have scraped off half the caramel and not needed anymore. While delicious it was almost overpowering. Portion sizes were very small and the price was most of the reason for the 4 stars 😔. Worth a visit but a mixed bag overall in my opinion.

We had the turmeric love bars and golden milk expresso lattes. It was not such food for the body, but food for the soul. We have never been more warmly welcomed anywhere in Sedona than we have here. This place is a gem and so is the owner. This was the perfect end to our week away visiting our much loved Sedona. This will be our first and daily stop when we return!!!

Wow! This chocolate was so good, it makes my mouth water just to think of it! As soon as I walked in, the smell hit me. The owner is awesome. When I couldn’t figure out what to get, she told me what everything tasted like, which made me get my new favorite. It is an all natural place.
