Very good - this is a really safe beach for kids, with nice sand and fairly shallow water. The toilet is free (hurray) but the shower cost is about 50c. It can get quite crowded but the there is little hassle from people trying to sell you something. It can get really hot - so take or hire shade.

It's a wonderful beach. The location is perfect. There are restaurants, places to stay, and an amusement park nearby. It's a great beach for a family vacation.

Nicely decorated restaurant. Ground floor has the bar and you need to go to first floor for the restaurant. Every staffs were kind from the moment I entered till I have my seat. I am no expert in Cyprus food but flavour profile (to me) might be a bit monochrome but looked super authentic so still worth a visit for sure. Overall I had a good time !

A fantastic family owned restaurant with an amazing craft beer and well stocked wine bar underneath. Beautiful arrangement of artwork in the restaurant upstairs. Five star service which is reflected throughout your dining experience. We are trying to learn Greek and everyone is so helpful and patient in our attempts to speak the language. Traditional home cooked food with a daily special as well. Excellent value for money and excellent quality local ingredients used. A must do when visiting Larnaca - you won’t be disappointed.

This cafe is a cozy and welcoming place that feels like home. The food isn’t fancy but tastes homemade and full of care. They have a huge selection of craft beer and whisky, and the barman gives amazing cocktail recommendations. The staff are super friendly and make you feel special. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing meal or a great drink. Definitely worth visiting!

Officially one of the most beautiful restaurants and bars I have ever been to. The bar downstairs is inspiring with the unique vibes and hundreds of beers and whiskeys. The second flood is just an amazing restaurant. The food super delicious, we tried the cooked lamb with spinach, rice and potatoes. wine is great and the atmosphere is difficult to explain with words it could only be felt. Every detail is just fantastic, I am so happy the place was open and we could enjoy the art there.

A not very big marina, with nothing out of the ordinary. Several dozen sailboats and other types of boats and a promenade where people can walk. There are no benches to sit on. Quite beautiful but common.

A nice marina, with a small pier that enables you to look at the boats. Be aware that some of the planks are old, stick up, and are unsteady. You can not get much other access to the marina to see the boats any closer on foot. You can, however, get boat rides from here, and booking is at the start of the pier. The marina itself is clean and well kept. Parking can be found close by or a 10 minute walk from 2 car parks next to the bus station. Both are free. Toilets nearby on the beach. Worth a quick look if you're in the area.

It's so beautiful and the view from up the infinity pool is breathtaking. Visited the Marina Spa and after had a drink by the pool. It was so relaxing.

I visited Larnaca in August 2024, and the weather was quite hot. I stayed about 15 km away from the town at the Murcure Larnaca Resort. While looking for a place to have dinner in the city, I discovered this area. I walked around for over an hour in the evening, and it wasn’t crowded, which made it very pleasant. The area is quite large, with boats, a beach, restaurants, and more. It’s worth exploring, but I recommend visiting Nissi Beach, which is too crowded but one of the most beautiful beaches in the World.

We had an exceptional experience at Larnaca Marina. The marina is beautifully organized, well-run, and affordably priced. From the moment we arrived from the Suez Canal, the team provided a warm and welcoming reception. Giannis, the Marina Manager, was instrumental in ensuring a smooth experience, sending us all the necessary information via email. When we arrived, we contacted Stellios on the radio, and his instructions were clear and easy to follow. He and Athos met us at the fuel dock with smiles, took our lines, and escorted us to the customs and port police offices. The check-in process was super easy and efficient, thanks to Elena's kindness at the office reception. The team went above and beyond to assist us, even helping with our first stern tie. Athos took our lines, and Stellios was ready in the dinghy to lend a hand if needed. Given the marina's comfort and amenities, we decided to haul our boat out for hull maintenance. The lift process was seamless, with Georgios handling the travel lift and Mohammed ensuring everything was in place. What truly made our experience stand out was working with "Dino" and his colleague Kamil. Dino's business offers a wide range of services for boat exteriors, and his work is stellar. Both Dino and Kamil take immense pride in their work, and it shows. They became like friends and coaches to us, offering valuable advice and support throughout our stay. We were sad to leave Larnaca Marina but happy to set sail with our boat looking better than ever. The marina's daily rates are very affordable compared to other European ports, making it an excellent choice for sailors. We highly recommend Larnaca Marina to anyone looking for a well-run and welcoming port.

Nice place, good views and fair price

A great independent pottery shop, with excellent service. The pottery shop is in the old Turkish quarter of Larnaca and has the pottery making business next to it. The owner was very kind and showed us his workshop with the kilns and explained to us how it works.

We liked this experience very much. First time we made 2 glasses and 1 plate. Then we came to paint them and next time we will come to take them home. The attitude is very nice. We were taught how to make pots, everything was explained in details. Everyone will be able to make their own pot without any problems. If you fly home back and need to take the pots with you - you can pay extra and they will prepare your pots faster. I highly recommend it. It is totally worth it. Thanks a lot to the owners.

Visited the pottery on the Larnaca tourist information free tour, Michael gave an interesting demonstration on how to create a Pythagorean cup - a practical joke device in a form of a drinking cup, credited to Pythagoras of Samo. The shop itself has some lovely items.

A fantastic family experience! We had a wonderful time at the ceramic shop and workshop. Our kids enjoyed creating their own pieces during a hands-on session led by Michael, who was incredibly kind and patient. A unique and memorable activity for the whole family — highly recommended!

This activity may be a little off the normal activity branch but really made a mark on our group. The owner is a very interesting person and with his experience he can help a novice like we were create something useful and full of memories. A very cost efficient and new experience bring day!

Recently opened, it looks good, with nicely arranged stands. Not very big. There is a terrace on the roof where I think it's nice to stay for a drink in the evening. At the time of our visit, around 3:30 p.m., during the week, it had a sad, abandoned air.

Have waited for so long to see the finished results of the market but when I did I'm was very disappointed. The stalls they feel cold and not much going at the time, and only three fruit and veg stall inside, while there are plenty of other stalls with souvenirs, Cypriot original products .I feel is lacking the atmosphere and is so much concrete and big spaces between the producers that it feels cold.On Saturday at the back of the market, there are local producers which they bring their products to sell and that section has got a good vibe and atmosphere as the local market should have. I have bought fresh peanut butter from inside the market, which it was made in front of me, and it was smooth and tasty.

Well, it's not the cramped and chaotic (but charming) eastern market that it used to be many years ago. Today it's more European, orderly and tourist-oriented with some basic shops selling items one may find cheaper in supermarkets. But, with time, I hope it will evolve into a genuine local market.

The 1928 ironwork canopy's glass panels filter sunlight to perfectly ripen halloumi cheese on display. Butchers in Stall 14 still use great-grandfather's brass scales calibrated with Ottoman lira weights. The herb vendors' bundles of rigani (oregano) contain exactly 21 stems - a tradition from when they were used as prayer counters. At closing, the fishmongers scrub marble slabs with lemon branches, releasing a citrus-sea scent that lingers till dawn.

Well, actually that’s not traditional market as I expected, more like supermarket with different departments. Still the best place to buy fresh fruits not far from the beach.

Its a lovely small mall and its quite clean. Lots of stores to choose from including restaurants like taco bell, kfc, aldente and so on. I quite liked visiting the perfume stores. Service was ok, nothing special. Some stores the staff just talk amongst themselves and don't offer help. Overall its a good mall to check out if visiting Larnaca.

The mall was nice at fisrt, after some time I started to feel lost distressed. The endless walk in a single path inside the mall made me feel claustrophobic and anxious. By the end of the trip I was exhausted and wanting to run home. A great place for shopaholics though. Liked the recycling bins as well.

Great sized mall located near AEK Larnaca football stadium. Has a food court with all your favourites like Taco Bell, McDonald’s, tgi Fridays etc and many more. Has some local clothes shops in here aswel as your Zara, bershaka and pull & bear. Also located at the end of the mall itself is a supermarket. Huge free car park which included a car wash is available below the complex. A must visit should you need any clothes or simply just a day out for some retail therapy.

Great for young and old. Has most of what a shopping mall has. Big, so you should have some time to spare when you're here.

I absolutely love Metropolis Mall! It’s bright, modern, and beautifully designed — the perfect mix of international brands, great food options, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Everything feels clean, organized, and easy to navigate. Whether you’re shopping, having coffee with friends, or taking a stroll, it’s such a pleasant place to spend time. The open, airy layout and the variety of cafés and restaurants make it ideal for families as well. Definitely the best shopping experience in Larnaca — stylish, comfortable, and always enjoyable.

We had a great time here with the kids. I haven’t been to a good shopping mall like this in a long time. There are many restaurants, ranging from simple to very good ones. There are a lot of play areas and game machines for kids. This mall also has many brand-name stores. Everything is very clean, neat, and well-maintained, with plenty of parking spaces.

Frequently finding rotten produce. When I reached out with an email instead of an apology, they reconfirmed that their produce is always fresh, even if the photos were showing the green mold. I go to Nikos supermarket in Ormidia now,vclean and fresh produce.

Incremental increases in its prices since a few years ago Update August 2025: more price increases... Sorry Lidl you can't claim you are cheap when you sell, for example, a uht milk for €1,29 and the small supermarket near me has it for €1,10!

Today, while in Cyprus in extreme heat (around 40°C), I suddenly felt unwell after entering a Lidl store. The amazing staff immediately noticed and came to help me. They gave me water, checked if I was okay, and genuinely cared for my well-being. I am truly grateful for their kindness, attention, and humanity. Good convenient location lidl supermarket close to the port. With self checkout counter makes it very convenient for your quick shopping. One of the main problems with busy and slow checkout other lidl face.

Pros: 1. Excellent variety. 2. High quality ready to eat food, specifically the rotisserie chicken. 3. Very good and comparative prices. Tip: They provide online shopping as well. Lower prices usually covers the delivery fee.

Well maintained and shelving all the the necessary items and plus,it could be a bit more competitive. I go there for my groceries as it's conveniently located. I'm having issues with the hygiene behind the delicatessen desk people are keeping same gloves on regardless what they are touching or serving. I understand to change gloves with sweaty hands is not that easiest to do but I buy things to eat and I don't want any contamination coming with it. You can use nylon/PVC single use gloves which are cheaper and easier to change but also hygienic.

I rarely check expiration dates on products, because I know that in AlfaMega and Sklavenitis the employees check everything every day, and in 10 years I have never found an expired product there. I go to Metro maybe once a year, and they put products right in the front with expiration dates on the same day. I understand that this is legal, but I have never seen it in such large quantities in any other supermarket. The other day (26/08) I bought cheese with an expiration date of July 18 — more than a month expired. The woman at the customer service desk was clearly unhappy that we brought it back — it was obvious from her face and the change in her manner of communication. The apology was weak, and it felt like this was not the first time it had happened. They seem confident that people will not take them to court. But with so many expired (and almost expired) products, I really hope someone with enough time will not ignore this. As for me, I will not go to this store again.

A large supermarket with a car park outside. Parking is free. 2 floors inside with a lift in the middle. The cafe is on the first floor. Quite a range of items in here, a good selection of most items required. I've found it to be good value for money too.

High prices...around 30% more than Alphamega and 50% of Sklavenitis,better to go in another supermarket

A spacious, clean and pleasant department store. Sales assistants are very attending and polite. A good variation of products and a big range of prices. Nevertheless products are getting on the dear side without justification ie no good fabric qualities or special styles. Furthermore the cafeteria on the top floor is a good place to relax.

Prices higher then in other shops of that kind. Personnel is really awful and not helpful at all, only gazing at you from top to bottom. Not a relaxing place for shopping at all.

The shop itself is good enough, we find something new and interesting almost every time we visit Cyprus. But there are big organizational problems - during last visit in January 2024 we bought many things and among them was a jacket from All Saints. There were only 2 in stock of different sizes, so we took the suitable one. Only after leaving already in the airport checking the receipt at Duty we found out, that we paid for 2 jackets. I immediately wrote to ERA via email and left a measage on the website about this mistake - no reaction after 4 months. The second problem is Tax Free - they give you a form for Global Blue and tell you to get the refund in airport. But then you find out that Global Blue is not working with ERA for more than a year already because ERA fails to fulfill its obligations. And when next time visiting Cyprus you come to them with all the papers and ask for direct Tax Free, there is never on site the person who can do this )) So have already been done 5 times just for last tear with us - a big pack of filled Tax Free forms and no payback up to now. And the worst - they never answer any messages via website or email! So be especially careful when asking for Tax Free - insist on receiving it right in the shop! P.s. After contacting the given address all the problems were resolved within a week, so I raised the raiting from 3 to 5 stars. Just need to know whom to contact when having any kind problems ) nice work, Era Zenon, thank you!

Nice ‘Mini’ Department store that carries a surprising array of branded products. From cosmetics, to Mens/Ladies, Children and also a small Next Interiors, whilst they also manage to fit in a nice sized Restaurant for lunch and coffee. Parking available.

One goes to ERA expecting to find good quality products. It was raining and we stopped by to get an umbrella. There were ten umbrellas on display. One third of them were scratched and the rest were broken or cut with a paper cutter. The original price of the umbrellas was about 19euros. When we told the saleswoman that, her reaction was indifferent about the problem. Really poor customer service. No wonder why this place is about to close down.

Zara is Zara. Always on time with knock off designs straight from the catwalk. Larnacas’ shop though needs some update by renovation. Difficult to get any parking access if driving. Staff is borderline polite, reluctant to help though.

Very bad service... We are asking furst floor someone to help the are looking as like we still them food.. 4 laidy behind the cash they talking laud and smile no body care of clients..!!!! We bought thinks for 200 EU and we forgot to buy shoes and we ask to bring from second floor to buying them they are looking like we eat them breakfast.. They tell us we shut go and pic up alone.. I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the staff members at this Bershka store. I asked her politely if they had a certain skirt in size S or XS. Instead of helping, she immediately got rude and said, “Which size do you need?” in an annoyed tone. When I repeated “XS or S,” she looked me up and down — as if to judge whether I could fit into that size — and told me I could only pick one. I said “S,” and she walked off to check. While I was waiting near the fitting room, I saw several of the same skirts on a table. I asked another staff member if she could check for my size, and then the first employee suddenly reappeared, handed me the skirt, and whispered something to the second employee — who then gave me a clear side-eye. When I asked what was going on, the first staff member just said “Nothing” in a sarcastic tone. From that moment on, I felt extremely uncomfortable. Every time I walked past her, she gave me unpleasant looks. She had dark hair, wore black glasses, and had very poor posture — and her whole attitude just screamed “I don’t want to be here.” Honestly, if she doesn’t enjoy working with people, maybe retail isn’t the right job for her. I didn’t end up buying anything because no one deserves to be treated like that while shopping.

Nice clothes. But NEVER had such an unfriendly cashier in my life! Very disappointing! She did not speak ANY word to me during the entire cashier process. And don't expect a smile or eye contact!!! You want my money? Never again! And you should pay more attention to who works for you!

Decent clothing store HOWEVER the cashier is disgusting there extremely rude and unprofessional. Didn’t even bother giving me the receipt and just grabbed it and threw it away mumbling, seriously if you hate your job so much get out of there. But the manager should deal with this and put ladies that are willing to help with good customer service.

Its the only shop in the entire island that sells merchandise related to anime, Japan and pop culture. For the love of god, please STAY AWAY everything in the shop is 3x-5x times more expensive than the actual price. They have a monopoly in the island therefore the prices are high especially funko pops.

The prices here are already very high, but when we got to the checkout, they silently charged us an extra €6. After we noticed the mistake and pointed it out, they refused to refund the difference. Very disappointing experience.

Now I wear it only for outdood hiking away from any people and I have to leave in the street for night - so that no other cat come here to piss because they think that 100 cats live near my house. I bought ECCO shoes before and this is first experience like that. I read that now it's a very often thing with ECCO shoes - unfortunatelly. I will not buy any ECCO any more.
