It's an amazing Lebanese restaurant, and it's great for trying out traditional cuisine. The portion sizes were very generous, and we barely managed to finish a meze for 3 people with 4. The hummus and yogurt sauce perfectly complemented the pastries that we got as a starter. The skewers were also perfectly cooked. A nice touch was the cocktail Al-Sultan, which I highly recommend getting. The service was prompt and attentive, and I think this made the experience perfect. I would definitely return to this place.

Even though almost every restaurant in Larnaca is a nice place to visit, this restaurant is place number 1! Whether you love Lebanese food or you want to try it for the first time, I highly recommend visiting Maqam Al-Sultan. The food is absolute perfection, and the atmosphere is fabulous thanks to most pleasant people working there🙂 If you visit Larnaca, be sure to visit this restaurant as well.

Was good Lebanese food with a nice view of the promenade. The meat was tender but a bit dry. It did have good flavor. I ordered the mixed grill plate which had good variety. I also ordered a lemon tart for dessert, but it was not fresh as the topping was falling apart. For €8 it was not worth it at all. They were also out of many of their other dessert options. Was also odd as many of their tables were reserved but no one sitting at them. I was there for roughly an hour and those tables stayed mostly empty. So potentially make a reservation if you want to come.

We had 2 types of hot meze (rolls with cheese and fried meat wraps) one and 1 main of mixed meats, 2 lebanese coffees with cardamom and some soft drinks. The food tasted delicious, the serving was polite and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice! I recommend this place. My husband was impressed by the lebanese food in Cyprus. It was his 2nd time eating lebanese when we were here and we totally recommend it! Kudos to the chef and the staff!

Great café in Larnaca! 🍴 The portions are absolutely huge and very tasty, with beautiful presentation too. We were three - me and two kids, and honestly, one sandwich would have been enough for all of us. But we ordered two sandwiches and a salad and ended up completely full :) Lovely atmosphere, quick and attentive service. Definitely coming back!

Really nice location. We were here twice: once for lunch and once for dinner. The food was really good. We figured it’s typical Cyprus thing and not a bad thing ofc, but worth to mention that the portions were HUUUGE (1 portion could feed 2 persons). It is located in the center of Larnaca. A cool place with a garden. The breakfast menu is impressive but the choice is solid. The staff is kind and helpful. The music is unbearably loud.

What a place… Great food at reasonable prices and friendly service. The Maitre D was on top of his team like a hawk making sure everyone was seated immediately and served as quickly as possible. We had the Takis burger, octopus and the Las Vegas sushi. Everything was spot on; the food, service and atmosphere. It’s also technically on the beach so you don’t have to walk far. You can also see airplanes coming in to land as it is next to the airport. This place has everything.

The sushi wasn’t that good, it had many people and is a little busy at night. They have loud music and you can find a seat easily. Although, I think there are better places where you can get sushi at.

I love this place! The burgers here are incredibly delicious, you have to try them! I also liked the sushi and drinks, everything was fresh and really tasty. The atmosphere in the cafe is beachy, relaxed, beautiful interior in light colors. There is a cute friendly dog ​​living in the cafe🥰

Not bad. In summary, the bar is located by the seafront, offering a nice view. The food is okay, but be prepared for the crazy-loud music. Now to the full review: After two visits with friends and family I came up with a few key points that I'd like to mention. 1) The Atmosphere: The music is EXTREMELY LOUD, making it almost impossible to hear anyone near. There are real drummers, who play along to the prerecorded soundtracks, which overall makes the atmosphere more lively. The interior offers a breezy summer vibe, in the evenings you may witness colorful disco lights. 2) Taste: The food itself is pretty mid. I took two dishes - "The Hungry Takis Burger" (apparently the only burger on the menu, photo attached) and "Brooklyn Love" rolls (also attached). Though I ordered a medium fry, the burger arrived well-done, which made it taste a bit too dry. The bun was a regular package, not some fancy brioche, but eh, okay. [€16]. The rolls were pretty good: the rice was sticky, the fish was fresh, as well as the unique presentation made it a pleasant experience. [€10] Overall, the food was fine, nothing superficial, though its worth mentioning that the ingredients were fresh and the meals were neatly prepared. Despite the odds mentioned, the place is overall cool if you're looking for a warm-up before a night club, as it's very clean, the staff, well, *exists*, and the overall interior makes up for a fine place to be at.

Good food. I tried the bbq korean wings, it was good. The sushi was average they can make it better specially he's an sushi restaurant and should be expert in sushi. And it took to long about an hour seeing that the restaurant was not busy, every time they tell us it's coming and it take longer time. They also left the finished dishes on the table till the end. Bad service but they gave us the last sushi dish on the house after waiting for more than a hour.

Great place for kids and adults. I absolutely love their kids meal, ice cream, a drink and a meal only for like 7$ or something! There is food for spicy options, vegetarian options and many others. This has to be the best Wagamama we’ve ever eaten at – even better than the ones in the UK! The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff truly went above and beyond for us, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Service was fast, friendly, and genuinely caring. If you’re in Larnaca and love Wagamama (or just great Asian-inspired dishes), this location is a must-visit.

We were there at the 26. September 25 for a Dinner. We Order a Coconut Curry with Chicken and a Teriaki with Chicken. It was discussing the chicken was brown, black and taste spoiled and the curry was to spicy, you can’t eat it. After the meal we both had stomach ache later we both had to vomit. The Service was the only thing that was good. We would never go there anymore.

This is the best place I've been to in cyprus. And I'm not kidding. We ordered ravioli with vodka sauce, it tasted out of this world, literally amazing. We also got a pizza, it was crunchy, delicious and perfect! For dessert we got the honeycomb cheesecake and oh my god. Wow. The staff were extremely nice, and the place is decorated with beautiful painting! 10/10 absolutely recommend

We visited here as we saw gluten free and apparently as the photo part of the GF council. Pizza base was brought in and was Schar which isnt a good quality. No bread options and pasta was only a available with tomato sauce. No Meats etc. Very let down and I feel this buisness should take the council sign down as all other establishments have been very accommodating for gluten free across the island. Not worth the visit if anyone if Gluten Free. Also staff very rude and not helpful at all.

My friend and I came to this restaurant after being in many Italian restaurants throughout Cyprus. This is the most successful restaurant - by far. Excellent food! Interesting and varied flavors.. A super recommend restaurant, all of the food is perfectly made, exactly to the right point, everything tasty and fine. Professional service, all needs answered and all requests satisfied. A place to celebrate in a romantic dinner, where you desire to order everything in the menu. We'll be back!

We were here on Easter Sunday, so it might have been more crowded than usual. The food took around 30 minutes to arrive, tstatsiki was mediocre and looked like prefabricated, fries were soggy and souvlaki chewy though tastewise okish. The waitresses were nice though seemed stressed out due to the amount of guests. Location was nice in front of the ocean but also very noisy due to the adjacent street. I would rather not recommend.

Bourekia, should be world famous; they are massive ! Don’t miss out . They do lots of other lovely things but it’s all about the Bourekia for me . The apple pie is so good too

Alasia in Larnaca has a beautiful seaside view with a lovely atmosphere. I always go there especially for their kibbeh, potatoes, and the dessert pourekia. Five stars just for these – the taste is amazing! The only issue is that the service is slow

Unfortunately, the food quality was not up to par, but much worse. The falafel was raw on the inside and hard as pebbles on the outside. It was full of fried oil. I will never visit this place again...

We ordered the mahlahbi with ice cream. The mahlahbi was horrible- it was a rose water soup with bubble gum taste ice cream. We haven’t eating a bit, and wanted to replace, to at least get an ice cream scoop instead. The owner said it was impossible. 5.50 euro for that soup could give you two ice cream scoops in any of the 4 other ice cream shops nearby, you rather go there.

First time at Pahitice and really liked their crape and frozen yogurt. The consistency of the frozen yogurt was perfect and good selection of fruits available. Service was extremely slow during my Sunday visit.

The tall boy with brown hair and glasses who worked today, 13/07/2024 was so lovey and polite. He worked really hard and was back and forth with plates and cleaned tables straight away, as well as being a nice person and holding the door for customers!

I recommend trying the Cypriot coffee and waffles with banana and nutella, and also on your next visit, be sure to take waffles with dark chocolate and fresh strawberries - very refreshing! I haven’t tried the ice creams here but had a good coffee outside enjoying the breeze of the sea. The owner is very smiley and funny. The place is good for kids, but don’t leave them unattended or they will be sold to the circus. This is what a sign on the wall says :)

A stunning example of a small hidden treasure in Larnaca. So homely and welcoming the owner Chris throws off the loveable grandpa vibe in abundance. Definitely worth a visit to enjoy creamy ice cream, the freshest juices all with a fantastic view. Hidden gem in a far corner of the Larnaca beachfront. Very tasty ice-cream, wide range of coffee and milkshakes, and freshly squeezed fruit juice of course! The owner was very kind, friendly and accommodating as he managed to find and make me nice cup of tea despite tea not being a part of their selection.

You need to stop here. Great place to refuel as you progress along the promenade. Very friendly lady served us each day. We had ice-cream, coffees, take away hot drinks too. She even has ice-cream for dogs!

We simply kicked us off because it is weekend and crowded, and they did not want us here working on our laptops. They are simply saying we want your money but do not occupy tables for long hours. Some people think they own customers when they have places. Also it was not a kind request it was absolutely rude.

A beautiful and clean beach. The sunbeds are well-organized and tidy, and the price is very reasonable. Watching the planes passing by is quite enjoyable. The only downside is that the water is very shallow, so you need to walk quite a bit to reach a spot where you can swim. I cannot comment on the bar area as we did not visit it.

Tried many ice cream places in Larnaca, but this was the best. It tasted like real Italian gelato. Probably it was. The staff was friendly. They let us taste the ice cream before we chose it. The price is a little bit higher than elsewhere but it was worth it.

Makou Beach Bar is a great place to wind down in the evening and get some of the best gelato you'll ever taste. With so much competition on this road, Makou Beach Bar holds its ground well. Though the service is quite fast, Makou Beach Bar often has a much deserved queue. This wouldn't be problem apart from the fact that Makou beach bar has NO logical queue system. For a moment, I almost felt like a character in wacky races as someone eyeballed a space and blatantly queue jumped causing others to follow suit. This did put dampen the vibe and experience but a simple velvet rope could fix that. The seating here is fantastic, with tables and sofas inside and out its a great place to literally chill out and get some amazing deserts with views of the ocean. The gelato itself is excellent and I highly recommend the dark vanilla (best vanilla I've ever had). I'll be back to try the pancakes and waffles and although I never tried them, they looked truly scrumptious. Great service, great deserts, fix your queue system and we're onto a winner here!!

It’s funny the girl who makes the crepes came 1 hour late and when I asked to order she said now all what I need is to change my clothes and then come , service toooo slow waited 35 min for 2 crepes wish they had more professional employees and who come on time

Ice cream Ok. Some flavors are good and others not so much. Pistache and yourgut are good Ricotta and another name that is a local flavor not so much. And there was a situation that had a misunderstanding and the woman didn’t have a good way to solution. We asked to buy in kilograms and the woman said that was ok to buy a 200g. BUT, it wasn’t ok, and we must to buy a 500g. And the other woman(looks like a head) understands what happened and still didn’t change to us to buy as a regular. She wasn’t rude or something bad, but she could have done better and not let us buy too much ice cream.

Disappointing crepes. Even though they advertise they sell Nutella crepes (super popular in Cyprus), they DO NOT use Nutella, but only common chocolate. The dough was inconsistent between the 3 crepes we ordered. The ice cream is hit and miss. One of the ladies working there was super rude when I was explaining my disappointment on the quality of my order. I spoke to the manager, who seemed sensible and I'm hoping they take the review for their improvement.

It's not that easy to find perfect gelato for a reasonable price here in Larnaca, so this cafe is definitely a hidden gem: many different flavors and friendly stuff could be easily reached by foot from the Finikoudes beach area.

Great place, but one of the staff has a sour face every morning. I always say good morning, but no response, not even when I say thank you after paying. We have hotels in the uk as well as a property business, and we tell all the staff what one person does reflects on us all, so always be polite. It's not hard at all. All the other ladies are polite and acknowledge.

Great food, rip off service. The foods are great. Good price, delicious. BUT For 4 little piece of baklava the cashier counted 0,9kg, 13,5 Euro. :) (updated) Of course, we packed many different kind, but only by the looks of it you can say its may 0,2-0,4. We payed 20 euro instead of 10. BE CAREFUL! UPDATE: I went back, told the issue. They were really nice, said sorry and gave the money back.😊

Amazing selection of Greek/Turkish/ Middle Eastern dessert and savoury products freshly baked in their premises. Family business, spread over Larnaca and beyond. Helpful staff. Not all bakeries in Cyprus are 24x7 franchises of large, regional chains. Kapitanis is a family, traditional bakery in the heart of old Larnaca. We found it by chance walking out of Ithaki Garden thru a passage that is not marked on Google Maps (like many such passages around here). Breads, and cookies are great. But we were initially drawn in by the doughnuts visible from the storefront. Fantastic!

Little bit pricey but there are many flavors you can choose from. I have seen some of these flavors for the first time. Vanilla, red velvet cheesecake and cookie dough were good. If you have a sweet tooth this place is great for you. But for me ice cream was a little bit too sweet.

We came here for a small refreshment. We chose the fondu for the entire family. It’s a big portion and it is a fun thing to eat together. Service is and fast. We loved it. I highly recommend it for families.

Great ice cream, but €4.50 for a bottle of water? That’s excessive. What really bothered me, though, was the manager publicly scolding staff in front of customers — very unprofessional. The rest of the team was polite and helpful, aside from one staff member (a woman of color) who had a noticeably arrogant attitude. That really affected the overall vibe. Thank you for your response. However, I would like to clarify a few things: – I was not asked about water options; the export bottle was simply brought to the table. – I was not informed that there was a free option or a 1-euro small bottle. – The so-called free water also had a noticeable smell, which made it unpleasant to drink. As for your staff training, I completely respect the need for discipline, but I still believe such matters should be handled out of sight of customers — it affects the atmosphere for everyone. Disappointed by Hidden Charges I was really disappointed with my visit. The ice cream itself was fine, but the pricing practices were not transparent at all. I ordered two scoops, expecting a combined price, but was charged as if I ordered two separate single scoops — significantly more expensive. To make it worse, they apply different prices for dine-in vs. takeaway without any clear notice on the menu. This feels dishonest and misleading. Clear pricing is basic customer respect — unfortunately, this place doesn’t seem to value that.

I orderer from them and i found a piece of plastic in my ice cream, this is unacceptable. Quality wasn't great either but this goes beyond, the plastic was big and sharp enough to cause damage!

Love the ice-cream. Probably the only ice-cream in Cyprus without carrageenan (E407). Robert our server was very friendly and professional! Made us feel very welcome. I don't mind paying a little bit more for healthy ice-cream.

This is probably the best fast food option in the area, especially being open late in the evening. All the dessert crepese/waffles are excessively sweet that they drown any other flavor, but I guess that's the norm in these places in Cyprus. The bread sandwiches are acceptable , the crepe sandwiches are much better. Ice-cream is average at most, but again I must be the statistical anomaly since a lot of people populated the place each day. Service was great in all 4 evenings we stopped by.

Heavy hot and creamy. I ordered the milk and honey along with coffee and I couldn’t finish it. It was quite good and the coffee was ok.

Very friendly staff. Good service and plenty of parking around (free and paid). Ordered the Savoury pancake, my wife had the Italian which was a bit too salty due to the pepperoni, and I had the French with dijon mustard which was very nice, but to be honest the portions are too big so I think one savory pancake is more than enough for 2 persons. We wanted to go out for ice cream. But when we saw the poor parrot in a tiny cage outside the gelateria, we decided to find another place. It’s sad that things like this still happen in 2025. It should be banned.

The service is very good and friendly but the ice-cream is very bad... The ice-cream had a very bad smell of milk, i bought 8 ball's with 5-6 different tastes but only Mango taste didn't smell bad. I throw it immediately and i hope to be safe... 1 Star is for the bad ice cream.

The ice cream tastes like soap. But worse than that, they keep a poor parrot in a cage which doesn't allow him to freely open his wings next to a polluted street. Avoid this place as god knows what they use to make the ice cream (why the taste of soap?). Disgusting to be nice. One star but should be zero.

So much Fantastic place . One of the main reason to visit there is fantastic parrot which called "Mustafa" . The ice creams are very tasty with very various of taste and addition of frozen yogurt or fruits. BUT what caught my attention the most was the fantastic girl working there. I don't understand why she works with frozen products, because the amount of heat she emits is gigantic. If this island is Aphrodite's island, then let Aphrodite think about it again. Dear milady working there, you are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. Please smile more often and your worries will have a better chance of success.

They keep a parrot in a cage which does not enable him to even open his wings. The ice cream was mediocre but this goes behind the disprespect these people have on living creatures. Free the parrots and study how gelato is made, you incompetents.

Great view and location. The coffee is just ok. The cups are very plastic. We wanted to know information about what was in a bakery item and despite the sign that says to ask, they just said “we don’t know”. Overall the experience was as just ok.

Nice bakery in the heart of the city! Lovely girls working there and very kind. We tried the baklava and was delicious! Good coffee as well. There is seating outside, right next to the church. Lots of freshly baked goods! Definitely recommend!

Beautiful bakery just in front of St. Lazarus church. It is possible to sit here and enjoy high quality croissants and pastry for good price. We appreciate hard work of owners, the result is delightful.

I ordered a tiramisu, please, do NOT make tiramisu if you gonna make it with Chantilly and cupcake icing. It's so so so greasy, it's like a put a spoon of iced margarine with sugar in my mouth. I threw it away. Disgusting, any Italian person would flip mad at this.

This was my favorite bakery in Larnaca, they have very good sweets and pasteries. They also serve coffee. Their portokalopita was amazing, I loved it. You can seat outside to eat, the place is very pretty, being very close to St Lazarus Church.

The food, the atmosphere, the service - everything was 10/10! I was here almost in the evening, so not all pastries were present, but I picked a few, and they didn't disappoint. The apple pie was absolutely perfect, orange juice was fresh and tasty, and then I also took some baklava home, it was fresh as well and really delicious. A young lady who worked there was friendly and polite, helped me choose the food, and was overall really nice and professional. This bakery is right next to the church and the street, so you can enjoy the sunny view while sitting in the shade and eating delicious food!

The yogurt itself was good. The location is in the center which is nice. But almost 8€ for a frozen yogurt is expensive, when everything else on the island is cheap. I am disappointed because I wanted to put strawberries in my yogurt and the few strawberries left were dark.

Nice place, pricey but then all frozen yoghurt is. They charge €2/100g, and have a good variety of toppings to choose from, including cookie, chocolate, fruit and candy options as well as various sauces. They also have a dairy-free froyo, strawberry flavor, which is nice. Recommend for good froyo and polite staff :)

This was a very nice deal. I appreciate the man working there after a brief conversation i have had with him. The white chocolate was amazing to put on these waffles.

The portion depends on the grammage. ℹ️ 100g for 2€. 🤔 I would also appreciate vegan chocolate or some descriptions for the supplements, possibly the most common allergens.

Delicious, I believe it's a much better option for summer weather than regular ice cream. Toppings are fresh and delicious. Very pricey though. Depending on how you'll fill your cup, one portion can be somewhere between €5 to €10

The place is nice but they don’t blend it with the fruits by machine, you choose the fruits to add on top of the yogurt only.

Since discovering popsom I have become a fan. My all time fav is the avocado with white chocolate. The range is diverse and many lactose free options available. The staff is really nice and the space is cute. Only criticism is a lack of consistency every time I order it taste good but different.

I will visit again this place! The service is perfect, the choices are so many, the prices are fine, the environment is clean and cool but the seating area is not enough..you can't enjoy your popsicle outside the store because of the very warm weather. So, i recommend adding more tables in the store. The salted caramel popsicle was delicious, especially with the white chocolate and the lotus biscuits! The pistachio popsicle wasn't a success..the flavor wasn't there..

It was the best think I have tried in Cyprus. The ice cream was delicious! I could not decide which flavour pick out because too many choises :) Finally I ordered chocolate and orange with milk chocolate and almonds:) It was my last day in Cyprus but I beliave if I am in Larnaca I will come again definitely! Great ice cream sorbets with mouthwatering Belgium chocolate and possibility to add toppings. This cute store in a Larnaca alley leading to shopping stores will definitely catch your eye. I am big fan of sorbet and totally enjoyed my mixed berries popsicle with high quality dark chocolate.

Super Cool. What an amazing little place. We stumbled upon popsom while walking towards the beachfront, and wow what a discovery this place has turned out to be. Amazing flavours. My personal favourite is the lemon and mint sorbet and the pink grapefruit sorbet. As for my wife she absolutely adores the pistachio.

This is definitely the best of my unexpected findings in Larnaka! Extremely wide range of flavors and toppings, top taste 🤩 JFYI: so much better than Bobo Pops :D

One of the quieter places on this strip with excellent ice lattes, ice cream, and food. They sometimes take orders from the beach but that wasn’t every day I was there.

All the stories I heard for it being the best ice cream was true and then some. What really caught me by surprise was the quality of the coffee being top tier, even better than some top coffee brands here in Cyprus! Would definetely recommend and I am gonna visit again soon for sure!

One of my favorite ice-cream parlors on the island. The variety of flavors is very nice and the sorbets are amazing !

I recommend this place, really nice but busy, you have to wait because is full of people. I ate super good donuts from here, but the tastiest were the sauces on top, I chose dark chocolate and salted caramel. The prices is very good for the products quality.

What’s a place, traditionally when you get this Mediterranean/Middle Eastern desert it is simply a hollow fried doughnut with honey on but this new spot in the heart of Larnaca has elevated the game. With many many different flavours and toppings to choose from you can have the traditional hollow donut with toppings such as pistachio, Nutella, strawberry cheesecake puts on top which is delicious enough or they do their signature fillings which are actually inserted inside the doughnut which are next level And for only around €5 for 11 it is an absolute bargain. The place is super modern looking and super clean and the staff were very friendly also. Highly recommend.

Doughnuts look appealing as a very nice dessert portion, but unfortunately, we are disappointed. The doughnuts are heavily soaked in oil, with no real taste of the dough itself—only the overwhelming flavor of grease. The only good part is the ice cream, which is actually tasty.

Very polite staff, the crepes was really good and tasty. I like the wallpapers decor . There are not so much chocolate choices for the crepes , just the basics . Outside they didn't have any heating and inside there are only 3 tables . We ask for some music but they didn't have which is RIDICULOUS in my oppinion !!! 3 stars only for the staff,crepes and wallpapers !
