Steak house
Located in a glitzy, casino-based setting, Atlantis Steakhouse offers a top-notch dining experience with classic fare such as steaks and chops. The restaurant's stylish design resembles an underwater palace, providing a cosmopolitan atmosphere for guests. Featuring Allen Brothers of Chicago meats, fresh seafood, chef's specials, cocktails, and an extensive wine selection of over 336 options from around the world.
My experience at Atlantis Steakhouse, located inside the Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno, was truly memorable! The restaurant offers an elegant, welcoming atmosphere with impeccable service from start to finish. The meal began with a fresh and crisp salad, beautifully presented and lightly dressed — the perfect way to start. However, the true star of the evening was the steak: flawlessly cooked, exceptionally tender, juicy, and exactly at the requested doneness — simply outstanding! The plate was accompanied by roasted garlic (a sophisticated and delicious touch), creamy mashed potatoes, and delicately sautéed mushrooms, all enhancing the incredible flavors of the dish. While the famous Lobster Mac & Cheese was also a delightful surprise — rich, creamy, and loaded with real lobster — it’s the quality of the steak that truly steals the show here. Rated as a 4-star restaurant, but with food quality easily worthy of 5 stars, Atlantis Steakhouse is without a doubt one of the best fine dining experiences in Reno for those seeking a top-tier meal.

Went with a group of foodie friends. I love the table service! Steak Diane and banana foster were both excellent. Although a bit loud the food is very good. Wait staff was almost over attentive. Kept repeatedly trying to grab plates when not completed. But very courteous.

Best steakhouse in Reno. The service was absolutely amazing, the best service we’ve ever had. Food was timed perfectly and you get so much more for your money here. If you want to go out for a nice evening and impress your guests, this is the place to go. They give fresh hot towels at the beginning and end of service, a small little dish before your meal arrives, and gave us coffee cake in a to go bag before we left for the next morning.

It was my first time dining at Atlantis Steakhouse, but definitely not my last! I had 3 spectacular cuts of Wagyu steak on a bed of creamed spinach and carrots! The service was exceptional, as was the food quality! My compliments to the chef!
Steve B — Google review
My girlfriend took me here for my birthday and everything was amazing. The staff were on top of it and attentive, food was absolutely spectacular, nothing but good words about this restaurant. Also, one last thing to add; This was my first time trying Sea Bass and they crushed it!!

Absolutely fantastic experience at the bar thanks to Melissa and Fernando. 10/10 on everything. However…. Thick cut steak fries are listed on the menu and i was served sidewinder potatoes… don’t get me wrong they were great…. But…. Not thick cut steak fries. May want to consider adjusting the language on the menu to match the correct potato? Looking forward to my next experience here. Highly recommend

Appetizers & service were pretty good but my wife & I split a cowboy ribeye that was definitely the worst steak we’ve ever had at a reputable steakhouse. Quality seemed really low as it was super tough even though it was properly cooked to medium rare. Pretty much inedible, we took a $155 steak home to give it to our dog. Others at the table didn’t have negative things to say about their meals maybe we just got a bad cut of meat.
Scott G — Google review
We had a wonderful, relaxing experience at Atlantis. Most especially, the service was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Twice we grew our party, eventually coming to 15 - no problem, with another table pulled from who knows where and just as well and quickly and as comfortably appointed as our original settings. The atmosphere, food, cocktails and wine were great, but it was the service from Caitlin and Alex that set the night apart. Thank you, Atlantis!

French restaurant
Beaujolais Bistro is a charming French restaurant located in the Arts District of downtown Reno. The bistro offers a daily changing menu of refined French dishes, complemented by an impressive selection of wine and beer. The warm and inviting atmosphere features white tablecloths, brick walls, and intimate seating, creating the perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. The attentive staff are knowledgeable about the food and wine offerings, ensuring exceptional service.
An absolute gem. Loved everything! This is a beautiful and very clean establishment. It feels upscale, yet also home-y and welcoming. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass. The menu rotates, here's what we had: - Marinated calvestrano olives which were served warm. They were so delicious we took an extra order to go. These might be the best olives I've ever had! - Onion soup gratin. Comfort food! Slightly sweet, very savory, and the right balance of cheese to add flavor without being too much. - Scallops with artichoke heart and beurre blanc. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. - Hanger steak with fries. The steak was beautifully cooked and sliced, the red wine sauce was rich and flavorful. I didn't love the fries but let's be honest, I did not go there for great fries. - Orange creme brulee. Wow. Wow. Wow. The crust was excellent and charred (in a good way) in a few spots. It came with very fresh berries that were surprisingly packed with flavor despite it being winter. I rated the service a 4 because our drink refills were slow despite the restaurant not being very busy that we could tell.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Beaujolais Bistro. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and every member of the team went out of their way to ensure our evening was special. The manager stopped by our table to check in, which was a nice personal touch that really stood out. It showed a genuine care for the guest experience, and it was clear that the whole team takes pride in what they do. The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Combined with the warm and inviting atmosphere, it made for an unforgettable dining experience. Beaujolais Bistro is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food, outstanding service, and a place where the staff and management genuinely value their guests.

We sat out on the front porch for three hours and LOVED every minute of it. Our server and wait staff were elegant and engaging. The duck was done to perfection- not a flaw. The French onion soup was rich and warm...just what we needed as the weather turned colder outside. Highly rexommend.

As always, our dining experience was excellent.  The food, the wine, the service, and the ambiance are all top notch.  Sure, prices have gone up, as they have anywhere that serves quality cuisine, but it's worth it every time at Beaujolais.  We particularly like the Liberty Duck dishes, the fish (any of them) and the steak, and the four desserts we ordered were all better than the last. And Rosalyn, our server, was the best we've had at Beaujolais and the best we've had in a long time at any restaurant.  She is super friendly and knowledgeable and shows the perfect level of attention.  She never bothered us but also never left us looking for her.  I'm sure she had other tables, but it felt like we were her only table and she was watching us all along to make sure we never wanted for anything.

Came on a double date on Valentine’s day. Menu was set but had decent options. I’ve never really had French food so I don’t have a taste for it but everything was beautifully plated and service was great. I didn’t much care for some of the early courses (escargot, fois gras, caviar) but the truffle filet mignon for the main course was 🔥🔥🔥. Made the entire dinner worth it. Lots of truffle shavings and the steak was cooked perfectly. If you like French food or want a nice new culinary experience, this spot won’t disappoint. L
Adam K — Google review
I've been twice now and had roughly the same experience both times. The atmosphere is charming and intimate although the split space of the restaurant seems like it leaves the servers harried and gives the impression they are barging into their own dining rooms. The service itself is attentive, polite, and professional enough. However, both times I've been here, the wait between ordering and dining has been significant and accompanied only by appeasing refills of bread (which was appreciated) and nervous glances at the table by the servers with no communication to address it (which would have been more appreciated). So was it worth the wait? Yes and no. On both visits, I found the drinks and diverse offerings of appetizers to be tasty and timely. The same can't be said for the entrees. The meat never seems to be cooked just properly and the meals have come out cold. I suspect this is related to those aforementioned wait times. Even this is forgivable, but more concerningly, whether it was duck, steak, or lamb, I found the meat tough (It would have been a mercy for them to provide a SAWZALL for my most recent meal) and downright flavorless. This was only highlighted by the humble entree accoutrements which were very flavorful but didn't seem to be working in balance with as much as attempting to mask an underwhelming main dish. On dessert, I have to frankly say that between the high price points and the wait, by the time it was offered there wasn't enough good faith on the table to indulge. Beaujolais Bistro could be in consideration as a nice spot for a refreshment or light dining, but it's a tough sell to recommend a full experience here. I can't help but feel there is a disconnect at Beaujolais. I'm not sure if it is something physical; a small kitchen struggling to keep up with two dining rooms, or maybe the strain of a menu that I was told shifts daily, but I think there is a change that could be made at this bistro for the better. It sincerely was surprising to me that my experiences were not only consistent between my two visits, but that my specific detractions seem be consistent with other diners over time after reading similar (and generous) reviews.
Wes J — Google review
Beaujolais has set a new bar for me in regards to dining and service that every restaurant I attend will be compared to in the future. Located on Riverside drive, the area is alive and quaint. There's a lovely view of the river, and the people walking by makes the area feel very alive. We dined outside, but the inside of Beaujolais was beautiful and home-y. The menu was diverse and was delicious. For an appetizer my partner and I shared the duck and mushroom cigars which were moist, crunchy, and served over a bed of one of the most delicious sauces I've ever had. For entrees we opted for steak fritz and rack of lamb. The fry sauce was shockingly good, and the lamb was one of the most tender pieces of meat I've eaten. We finished with creme brulee and a surprise from the serving staff, as I had noted it was my partner and I's anniversary, to which they helped us celebrate with a candle on the creme brulee and celebrations from the staff. Our server Lee was truly the best I've ever experienced in a restaurant, keeping a watchful eye over our experience and carrying himself with an air of professionalism and pride I've never had anywhere else. This was a special experience for me, I left happy and most importantly my partner left happy. Special thanks to the staff, this will be my go-to for any occasion of meaning in the future.

Asian restaurant
Restaurant
Kwok's Bistro is a cozy Chinese restaurant located just two blocks west of the Reno Arch. It is a family-owned establishment that has been serving delicious Szechuan cuisine since 1999. The restaurant is popular among Chinese tourists and Panasonic employees, offering classic appetizers, soups, and family-style dishes. The front courtyard provides extra seating during favorable weather. Customers praise the friendly service and top-notch food, with options for gluten-free diners as well.
They are very welcoming and very friendly going over the menu with us. The food was delish, we got the hot and sour soup, fried calamari, and pot stickers to start all very good. The tofu and veggies and crab fried rice with sweet and spicy shrimp. Only disappointed we couldn't try more, we were too full 😅
Desiree F — Google review
Cozy, amazing restaurant with some of the best Asian dishes I've ever eaten. Really impressive quality all around. Prices range from $22-37 dollars for entrees with the bulk floating around $25. We had made reservations a few weeks in advance, and that was good because there would have been no indoor seating otherwise. The interior space is small, but perfectly suited to the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. We ordered 4 dishes: 1) Spicy Pork Tenderloin -- 10/10 -- perfect dish -- the most tender, large slices of pork with chunks of fresh jalapeno 2) Pan Fried Noodles with Pork -- 8/10 -- Pork was tender, but came up short compared to the spicy tenderloin. Still quite delicious. The noodles are very crispy and crunchy which provides a contrast of texture. 3) Sezchuan Lamb -- 9/10 -- amazing, just like the tenderloin, a little less spicy but still has a kick and very tender but not as tender as the tenderloin. Sorry to compare everything to the tenderloin! 4) Ginger noodles with Shrimp 🦐 -- 6/10 -- the least impressive, and most expensive entree that we ordered -- the shrimp were big and very delicious and there were plenty of them, but it just didn't compare to the other three less expensive entrees. We also had green tea 10/10, half a roast duck 🦆 with tortilla, sweet buns, and hoisin sauce for $45 which everyone enjoyed, and finally a bottle of Sake 🍶 for $52 that was chilled and complimented the meal perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to pay a fair price for amazing food.

Kwok's just may be our favorite Chinese restaurant in the world! The service is great (thanks Winnie, Brian, and Danny), and although small, we love the feel of the place, and food is simply amazing. (And they have a great wine and beer list with things you won't see anywhere else, so definitely give it a look and try something new.) I am not going to go I to all the dishes we had because that would take forever, especially because we loved our July 2025 visit so much that we returned two days later to try some more. (We had visited them a couple times a couple years ago and loved it then too...but don't remember it being THIS good!) However, here are just some of the many excellent dishes that immediately come to mind... Egg rolls Pot stickers Crab ragoon Oysters Mushrooms XO green beans Duck stir fry Crab fried rice Spicy beef Szechuan eggplant Roasted duck I recommend just picking whatever looks good, whatever is on special, and whatever they recommend and you'll have an amazing meal. (We always order a ton, figuring we'll take the extra home but it ends up being so good that we eat it all there.) And rest assured, the food is top quality. It is always fresh and light and no matter how much we eat, we never feel heavy or hungover the next day. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but the place isn't very big so I highly recommend making reservations. We travel to Renoux regularly and now our whole visit revolves around the question, "...when are we going to Kwok's, and can we fit in two visits while we're there for the weekend?"
Avant P — Google review
Oh my God, I'm so glad I found this gem of a restaurant. I was in town for work and I wanted some good food, and from the suggestion from a local friend I made my way to Kwoks. Now initially the place looked unassuming but when I got inside I was greeted and taken care of by their lovely staff. Now I got in on a Thursday afternoon (5pm) right before you needed a reservation so keep that in mind if you are wanting to go. Now to the food. I ordered the XO green beans and the salted fish fried rice and omg did they not disappoint at all. Great flavors that weren't heavy and perfectly balanced. Hats off to the chef (who actually came out to greet and interact with his customers!). Any time I'm in Reno I will be paying Kwoks a visit for sure. 10/10

The absolute best service and food I’ve had in a long time. The ambiance was great and the staff really take pride in what they do! The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. I cannot wait to go back! They deserve more than 5 stars, highly recommend.

Best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, I eat there often, even had the Chinese new years prefix dinner and it was worth every penny, just go here and love it like I do.

What an incredible experience, through and through! We didn't have reservations but they managed to squeeze us in and made us feel so welcome. The food is devine!!! I honestly can't rave enough about it. It was so good that we went back the next day to get our fix before heading out of town. The restaurant is small but they don't put in too many tables to make you feel crowded. They leave a good amount of space for their patrons to enjoy their meals. I HIGHLY recommend eating here. Try to get a reservation if you can. If you can't, order take out. You don't want to miss this place!

Went with a group of 6 for a business dinner. This was my first time being able to enjoy Kwok’s dining experience. We all ordered an entree and shared. Appetizers: chicken wings and shu-mai-both phenomenal. Entrees: Chicken w fresh shiitake mushroom Generals chicken Beef and broccoli Ginger noodles with shrimp Stir fried Eggplant Honey shrimp Stir fried asparagus. Combination fried rice The service is phenomenal. It’s a small restaurant and is by reservation only. While the Chinese food scene in Reno is greatly lacking, taking that into consideration, this is the best Chinese food I’ve had since moving here 3.5 years ago. All of the above food we ordered was amazing. I have zero complaints from this establishment. Grab your girl and take her to Kwok’s! You won’t regret it!!

Great Full Gardens, located in Midtown Reno, offers a focus on fresh and organic vegetables, providing a variety of vegetarian dishes from around the world, including delicious Indian options. The restaurant's emphasis on healthy and tasty plant-based food makes it an ideal choice for those looking for a satisfying meal. In addition to their diverse menu, Great Full Gardens also features 'Gino the Soup Man' soups, with offerings like the rotating soup of the day and Totally Tomato soup.
"Walked into a packed house, but was pleasantly surprised to get a table and order quickly. Allen handled my **Seared Ahi** order flawlessly and made sure everything was perfect. The staff truly shines, being **super friendly and very helpful** even when overwhelmed. A great experience overall!"

I am visiting this state and was referred to this restaurant as I was looking for a healthier place for lunch. The Teriyaki Bowl I ordered looked great and tasted acceptable. I did not mind as I did not know what to expect. The only negative aspect is that when ordering a bowl, they do not make it clear that the cost of the meat is an additional $8-$10. However, the service was exceptional, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is also very cool, with a unique setup and decoration. I might consider returning to try a different dish if I am ever back in the area.

Tucked into the bustling Sparks Outlets, Great Full Gardens lives up to its name with a cheerful atmosphere, warm service, and food that hits all the right notes. Our group of four stopped in on a slow afternoon and were greeted with a space that was not only welcoming but refreshingly bright and spacious—ideal for a relaxed lunch. The calmness of the day gave us a chance to really enjoy the vibe, chat without raising our voices, and take in the thoughtful design of the space. The service was genuinely spot on. Friendly without being overbearing, attentive without hovering—the kind of balanced hospitality that makes you feel looked after without being fussed over. And the food? Absolutely delectable. From the first bite to the last sip, everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. There’s a clear emphasis on quality ingredients and a menu designed to please a variety of palates. Impressed by our first visit, we returned on a different day just for coffee—and the contrast was striking. The space was now buzzing, completely filled with patrons, a true testament to the restaurant's popularity. Still, despite the crowd, the service didn’t skip a beat. Our coffees were just as enjoyable as our meals had been, crafted with care and perfect for a mid-day pause. Great Full Gardens has a way of making you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time through the door. It’s the kind of place you walk away from feeling better than when you arrived—not just full, but genuinely grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fresh, vibrant spot with top-notch service and consistently delicious offerings.

Stopped here for a snack and drink to cool off after a morning of shopping. The staff were kind and friendly, and the food was delicious! I had a strawberry lemonade and one liege waffle, while my companion had a cucumber lemonade and a vegan desert cup (cappuccino flavored). Everything was so good! It was noisy inside so we chose to sit outside on the patio under an umbrella. It was hot but much quieter. Very happy with my experience!

Ordered the reuben. For $18, I was expecting more. Tasted average. Sauerkraut was good. Came with a pickle. And cold quinoa. Again, average. Also ordered the vetata. Didn't really like it. It was like soup with chucks of tofu. Lacked flavor.

Nice restaurant with good choice of not fat food(they do have that too), I took a burger with side dish nice green salad instead of fattening potatoes. Good beer options and good service. Too bad there aint more of these restaurants. Only bad thing was only 2 toilets compare restaurant size.

I can always expect the best flavors and quality ingredients. I got the Pesto Caprese Melt (- tomoatoes, + grilled chicken). And a Pressecco cocktail. Price came out to about $40 (before tip), which was high imo for lunch and a happy hour cocktail, but I have never been disappointed.

Oceano is a seafood and sushi restaurant located in the Peppermill Resort, offering a festive dining experience with an undersea-themed ambiance. The restaurant provides a refined steakhouse experience and serves Italian specialties at Romanza, Asian dishes at CHI, and seafood in an ocean-themed dining room at Oceano. The menu includes complimentary bread, various appetizer options, and high-quality nigiri sushi.
Yooooooo this place was good. If you love sushi I highly recommend because the quality is here. Where I live The seafood isn't that great. The fish was so fresh and melts in you mouth. I sat here for a while and really enjoyed myself. Won some money and ate very good. The eel was my favorite then the mickey mouse. I WILL BE BACK!
Ramon T — Google review
The atmosphere in Oceano is incredibly mystical and romantic. They definitely offer a bright, upscale, under the sea vibe. I dined here with my partner for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The calamari and clam chowder were incredible and the sushi was delicious. The mango sorbet was also delectable. My only qualm was that the spicy tuna was WAY too spicy to be enjoyable and I love spicy tuna. The service was friendly and prompt and would definitely visit again. If the spicy tuna had an appropriate amount of spice, it world have been five stars.
Jamie B — Google review
The restaurant has a beautiful vibe and the layout and decor actually made me feel like I was under the sea. The oysters were fresh and sweet! The calamari were crunchy and golden brown with its light batter on the outside. The inside isn’t chewy like other places. The potstickers were also golden crispy and meat is moist inside along with its sweet and savory dipping sauce. Fairly good sushi, a bit on a pricey side. Beautiful decor and interiors. Large wall screens have panoramic views of various must visit places from around the world. Attentive staff. Cannot go wrong when visiting Reno.

Impressive seafood restaurant inside the Peppermil Resort. Seabass was excellent. They have an extensive seafood and sushi menu. Pricey but worth it.

My my sushi rolls were dry?? I have never had dry sushi. I ordered a rock lobster and a surf and turf. It was like somebody put them under warming lights or something. I was seated quickly, took 20 minutes to get a draft beer, and 30 minutes to get my dry rolls. It was a very strange experience. I was in a hurry so somehow managed to get half of each roll down, thank God I had beer and water. There was literally a dab of wasabi, like enough for one piece. The server was awesome, the atmosphere is nice, the non-sushi dishes being served to the people next to me all looked absolutely delicious. This had to been a fluke I honestly don't know what to say I've never experienced extremely dry sushi. Maybe the chef accidentally used Rice Krispies?
Mike D — Google review
Very mid and sub-par sushi. We sent a roll back because it was just….weird. The fish was fresh (salmon nigiris saved the meal), but the sauces used on the rolls were just STRANGE. Yuzu mayo that was bitter and honey garlic sauce that made fish sweet—just very bizarre and honestly extremely disappointing. We tried multiple rolls and didn’t like any of them, but choked down two after sending one back. Even the gelato from the AYCE was “inexpensive buffet quality” at best. Our server was sweet and kind, the menus are on tablets which was so fancy, so we did have a good time. But everything about the sushi was off (from a very avid sushi lover). You will be disappointed in this experience.

The Twisted Fork, located in South Reno, offers a contemporary dining experience with a blend of European and American flavors. The restaurant's decor is inspired by France, while the menu features farm-fresh cuisine with a twist. Diners can enjoy small plates like Kurobuta Pork Tacos and Tiger Shrimp Tamal for lunch or dinner.
The food here was truly outstanding. Also had lovely staff and great service. We were the last ones left in the restaurant at closing time and they were very gracious and not only let us take our time but then boxed up our leftovers themselves. The meatballs are a great appetizer, and we really enjoyed the fish and chips. Large portions so be prepared to take some home with you.

Came to Twisted Fork with my work and sat in the back. It was a Friday afternoon so it was pretty quiet back here. Had scorpion teriyaki chicken wings and meatballs to start. The meatballs are a reasonable size and were seasoned very well. If you're going with a group, you'll probably need two servings. The chicken wings were cooked as close to perfect as they could have been. The meat fell perfectly off the bone. For the main course I had the short rib grilled cheese. Its more grilled cheese lite and closer to a melt. Regardless, it was quite tasty. The fries weren't seasoned super well, but after adding some salt, they were great.

We stayed in a hotel nearby and were super glad we found this place! All the small plates were incredibly delicious!!!! I love love love every dish. Our server was so knowledgeable and recommended the combination of 4 different dishes perfectly. I am fully blasted tonight.
Van W — Google review
Absolutely loved this place for happy hour. My friend and I sat in a booth in the bar area. The bar tenders were friendly and personable. The cauliflower karaage delicious, bursting with flavor and could easily be shared between 2-3 people. My friend had the roasted artichokes and she was not disappointed. The beer was cold and the dirty martinis on point. I’d go back here in a heartbeat if I lived in the area. Didn’t get pics of the food but loved the words of advice on the wall!

My husband & I stopped for lunch while traveling through Reno. I had the Turkey melt sandwich with homemade fries and my husband had the pulled pork with French fries. Both were huge and tasted amazing! Our server Kara was very friendly and prompt. The restaurant was busy but our food took no time to arrive at our table. The restaurant is very large with booths, tables and a bar. There is a room for private parties as well.

The twisted fork is a good place to go if you’re looking for a casual but semi-fancy place for dinner. Their food is super tasty. They have good drinks. It is a quick easy place to go. That’s better than BJ’s or Olive Garden or any of your typical spots, but isn’t at the highest end either. You can dress nice. It’s perfect for birthdays or work dinners. Solid food! Good service.
Shannon D — Google review
We just discovered this gem! First off the service is excellent. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. We got two appetizers to try. The hummus is excellent and the artichokes were perfect! The steak salad I got for my entree was absolutely amazing! My husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was incredible, and our son got a burger that he loved! Our little girl got the grilled cheese and was very pleased! This place has everything we were hoping for! Atmosphere, kid friendly, excellent food, and amazing staff!

I ordered the "special" corn beef and hash. Potatoes were good as well as my eggs. However, $25 for canned hash was distasteful. Lesson learned. The husband ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich with fries. He did not like his sandwich. However, mom and I loved it! and thought it was very good! Mom ordered the veggie omelet and enjoyed her meal. The hostess was amazing and very attentive and we enjoyed the environment. The food was unfortunately over price for the quality though.

Restaurant
Miguel's Mexican Food At Midtown is a long-standing local favorite known for its classic Mexican dishes and generously-sized margaritas. The restaurant has two locations, one in Midtown and another at the Summit Mall in south Reno. Customers rave about the delicious chicken enchiladas and giant margaritas, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a day of shopping or to enjoy an evening out.
We are visiting Reno and are so glad that Miguel’s was recommended to us. The food and service were both exceptional and the prices are reasonable. The decor is very authentic with open beam ceilings and wooden tables and it was very clean. I judge Mexican restaurants by their salsa and Miguel’s was fabulous. The tortilla chips were great too. We had the enchiladas verdes, tortilla soup and a taco a la cart. Everything was fresh and delicious. The tortilla soup broth had a roasted tomato/enchilada sauce flavor and was very tasty. It was different than what I’ve had in the past but very good. My daughter loved the enchiladas and the taco was excellent. The margarita was huge and really good — not too sweet. We will definitely come back here when we are in Reno!
Caroline J — Google review
The food was outstanding. Prices were reasonable. Service was a bit lacking; very friendly, but waiting 45 minutes for our meal and 20 minutes for our bill was not acceptable. The tip would have easily been $50.00 for outstanding service, that wasn’t the case. Don’t get me wrong, the food quality made up for it!
Laurie C — Google review
I was looking for a Mexican dinner to finish out the weekend, in town for a short time. Miguel's popped up and four of us headed over. Loved the atmosphere, comfortable and bright, the host and servers were very attentive! The peach margarita was wonderful as was my wife's skinny margarita. I had beef and chicken fajitas, really hit the spot. Each one enjoyed their choice of meals. Looking forward to the next visit to Reno!. Thanks Miguel's...!
Peasy L — Google review
The guacamole was the best thing about the food. It was fresh, but still needed a tiny bit of salt. The rest of the food was not good, and they just covered everything in cheese.

Great Mexican food! Just like at home. Highly recommend! The staff treats everyone like family. It was really cool to see, they knew people by name. Definitely going back!

We decided to continue my sister‘s birthday celebration with an amazing dinner at Miguel‘s. I love coming to Reno as there are always so many wonderful surprises. I live in Spain and so before returning home, I was dying for some excellent, authentic Mexican food I had never been to Miguel’s before, but my family told me how amazing it was. In my experience, any restaurant that offers soapapillas on the menu is going to be an incredible treat. They did not disappoint. The queso fundido con chorizo and entrées were perfectly prepared and beautifully served by the amazing Rosa. Kudos to the bartender, whoever he or she was, as the Cadillac Margaritas were superb and made the party! I will definitely be back. I would give Miguel’s and Rosa, 10 stars out of 5! Muchísimas Gracias!

As someone whos spent a lot of time in Tamualipas, Mexico I can say they've done a great job of keeping it Mexican style food here. Service was fast & friendly! Food was fresh, correct to order, and fast to come out :) Ambience was great they had a good selection of music, it was loud but it's what I consider regular noise level growing up Mexican and decoration was beautiful! Parking lot is small so you might need to park by the road. I'd suggest to add more veggies to the enchiladas but overall great first experience :D
Saul C — Google review
Honestly the food isn’t great. I wanted some good Mexican food and ended up with a plate of slop. The chili relleno was nasty like they didn’t make it right and the enchilada was stuffed with cheap cheese. The beans and rice were okay. But this is not authentic Mexican food coming from someone who lived in a boarder city. It’s a waste of money, I ended up throwing it away.

Seafood restaurant
Cactus Creek Prime Steakhouse is an elegant dining spot located in a Nevada casino, offering prime beef in a stylish Southwestern setting. The restaurant provides a swanky atmosphere and is perfect for dining with friends or a significant other. Guests can enjoy sharing appetizers like artichoke and spinach fondue, as well as wagyu sliders accompanied by steak fries. Additionally, the establishment boasts an impressive selection of top shelf bourbons and offers excellent service with knowledgeable bartenders who craft delicious cocktails.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cactus Creek Prime Steakhouse – A Hidden Gem in Reno! I’ve dined at Cactus Creek Prime Steakhouse at least 20 times, and every single visit has been absolutely exceptional. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently top-notch. Jose, the manager, is a standout — incredibly engaging and always makes sure guests feel welcome. His hospitality sets the tone for the entire dining experience. From expertly prepared steaks to creative new menu items (like the mouthwatering dishes in my photos!), this place nails it every time. The wine list is impressive, and the high-end cocktails are just as memorable. Whether you’re visiting for a special occasion or just a quality night out, this place delivers every time. The value you get here is unbeatable for the quality of food and service. Honestly, this is one of the best-kept secrets in Reno — a true hidden gem. Try it once, and I promise you’ll be coming back.

I’ll start by saying that the service was great! Jose was an awesome server and bartender. He made sure we were well taken care of and he was able to seat us at the bar when they were busy. Thank you! I was a little unhappy with the halibut plate.. I thought the flavors would’ve meshed together but they didn’t. Oh well lesson learned. I will try another plate next time! :) but the other plates we got were great! Kung pao cauliflower was delicious and I recommend it!
Whitney K — Google review
We had an amazing experience at this place! The service is outstanding, and the portion sizes are generous—especially for the price. The steak was absolutely delicious, definitely one of the best we've had in town! We visited for the second time, and it was just as incredible as the first. The staff continues to impress, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The restaurant is also impeccably clean, which really adds to the overall experience. We will definitely be back for more steak and fish—it’s become our go-to spot for a great meal!
Jozze F — Google review
I always enjoy coming to this amazing steakhouse because Jose is a great guy who takes excellent care of me and my friend every time we come. They do a fantastic job with the Prime Rib, and the Caesar salad with artichoke fish is delicious. All the staff are very friendly.

Got recommended this place by someone, and we always walk past it. I came to try it out, and it was amazing. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Portions were great, prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend it. Only wish it was a little more secluded from the main gambling hall.
David B — Google review
Dinner was just okay. It will be a “one and done” for my husband and I. I had the Chicken Picatta, which was ok. Chicken was overcooked and tough, but the mashed potatoes and veggies were pretty good. My husband had the Pasta Del Mar, which was definitely more pasta than Del Mar. The bread that was brought to the table was just sad. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.
Cindy W — Google review
Food is always great here. Perhaps they were understaffed this time, but it took 10 minutes to get our drink order in and then over 15 minutes later to hear the specials and for our order to get taken. The mahi was so delicious and with the wait.
Stephanie G — Google review
The Bonanza casino is very smoky like all Casinos are when you walk into them but there is a side door that goes directly Toward the restaurant if you choose. The menu was delightful and the special beef is a bit pricey but less than a lot of the steakhouses. Everything we had to eat was delicious, and Leo, our waiter, was so cordial and very friendly we enjoyed our visit immensely.

Nevada Steak, located inside Tamarack Junction on South Virginia Street in Reno, offers a delightful dining experience with a comfortable and inviting ambiance. The restaurant features an array of steakhouse favorites such as filet mignon, rack of lamb, and Chilean sea bass. In addition to the extensive wine list, patrons can also savor classic dishes like spaghetti and meatballs or lobster and shrimp pasta.
The food here is so fresh. You can tell they take their time with each ingredient. I had such a great ribeye steak 🥩 here , the sides were yummy as well. I definitely 💯 will be back to try more things on the menu. I had a virgin drink here that was also very yummy 😋. I also love 🧄 Garlic.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. Very suprused to see roses on our table upon arrival. What a thoughtful touch. Our food was excellant. We both had rib eye with blue cheese. Our carmel taffey desert was delicious . The service was great. We will definately be back
Frank — Google review
The atmosphere and service were outstanding. The twice baked potato, French onion soup, and bread were outstanding. My mom's 16oz ribeye was just okay, and my prime rib was not so great. In terms of the steak and my prime rib it was not prime. When you go to a steakhouse you expect an outstanding steak. We did not get that. I gave a good tip because the service was outstanding. Fire the cook or whomever orders the meat. I'm not sure if it's the owners fault for ordering sub par meat, but you guys need to do something because the Tamarack Cafe serves steak and prime rib that are just as good as the steakhouse. For $175 for two people, I'm very disappointed. We will not return. I don't want to hear back from management because there is absolutely no way we are returning. And the dessert (strawberry shortcake and creme brule) tasted and looked like pig slop. Do not waste your money on this dive. The cooks, and whomever prepares the food give a bad name to this establishment and the servers who work their tails off get a bad wrap too.

We just went for the 1st time Friday. We loved everything about this place. The subtle lighting, lovely artwork, garden view. If you didn't know, they have a sunset special from 4:30 to 5:30 PM with discounted prices on a few great meals. Everything we had was delicious. Our server Taylor was amazing.

The environment is nice and our food server were great but the food was not really good. The lobster bisque was so salty and warm. My expectations were high but I was disappointed. So my company said the same, even the mashed potato were salty. The salmon was okay and the green beans were so hard to chew.
Maria Q — Google review
Very nice restaurant setting. Staff was accommodating, my husband and I decided to try them on a whim and they were able to seat us in like 15 minutes. Food was delicious and served in a timely fashion. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb. Also, the cornbread was spectacular. 4 out of 5 stars because the waiter forgot my French Onion Soup and some items on the dessert card was not available.

Buffet restaurant
Toucan Charlie's Buffet & Grille, located inside the Atlantis Hotel in Reno, offers a diverse dining experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While it features the usual buffet offerings like seafood, salads, desserts, and carving stations, it also stands out with unique selections such as posole and carnitas. The buffet scene in Reno has evolved over time due to the influence of tourists and the popularity of all-you-can-eat dining experiences.
I went with a friend during their seafood buffet, and it was the perfect setting for some much-needed girl time. The seafood dishes were absolutely delicious, and there was a great variety of desserts and other foods to choose from. The restaurant was packed that day, but everything was well organized—we didn’t have to wait long at all. The place was clean, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Overall, a lovely experience. I’d definitely come back again!
Juliene — Google review
The buffet is spacious and beautifully decorated, but the food is mediocre. Dinner is $42.99 per person on weekdays with crab legs available only on weekends. The menu showcases food from all around the world. The pho station was a pleasant surprise. As a Vietnamese person, I found the pho to be pleasant. I appreciate the wide range of options, but everything tastes like typical buffet food—just okay. Your money is better spent elsewhere. They have an automatic gratuity fee for parties of 6 or more. Staff are quick to take away finished plates and refill drinks. Tables are nicely spaced out.
KATIE E — Google review
I can't say enough good things about this wonderful buffet. The food is perfectly prepared and fresh, attended to regularly and kept at safe temps. There's a nice variety of options (though compared to come buffets, is lacking slightly in the Asian department). The roasted/sliced meats bar is AMAZING and the turkey is the best I've ever tasted in my long life (and available not just on holidays). There are many unique buffet items I've never seen elsewhere. It's a great spread! Now, as for service, it's exemplary. They work as a team and clear plates and refill drinks promptly. We went without reservations for a birthday celebration and they easily seated our large party and our primary table attendant even prepared a lovely birthday plate of desserts and searched in 3 other onsite restaurants for a candle. What a guy!
Anita B — Google review
This was my second visit to this buffet, and overall, the experience was decent. The food is pretty average — not bad, but nothing exceptional either. One pleasant surprise, though, was Pho. It actually had a nice aroma and the broth had an authentic Pho flavor, which I didn’t expect at a buffet. On the downside, the desserts were disappointing. This was the first time I didn’t enjoy the dessert selection at a buffet. The service, however, was quite good. Staff were attentive and quick to clean up dirty plates.
Cindy N — Google review
Every time we come to Reno, we always make it a point to eat here because it is the best buffet. Everything is fresh and they have so many different options to choose from. Friday is snow, crab, and fresh oysters. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Camilla gave outstanding customer service to us when we arrived to pay.

Haven't been back for awhile. Foods was great. Was expecting more seafoods but didn't see much. Dessert was good. Other foods was decent not too much but was decent. They have both pho area and Mongolian. Service is good. Only discounts we saw was if you over 65, be good if they have discounts over 55 at casinos buffet.
BlueRed F — Google review
My mom researched the area for a great buffet before we arrived to Reno, and was told this is the best buffet spot in Reno where she made a reservation. Upon arrival, the lines were extremely long, but they had sections for walk-ins and for people who made reservations. We proceeded to the reservations only line and was assisted by one of their friendly and jolly staff members. We paid the amount and was seated immediately. The waiters/ clean up persons approached us and asked us what we would like to have to drink. They have sodas, teas, lemonade, hot tea, champagne and much more. After ordering our drinks we proceeded to make our plates. Their foods are somewhat categorized by cuisine. They have seafoods, a carving station that includes prime rib, ham, roasted chicken, fried chicken that is bone in, a far east section that consists of dim sum, American Chinese dishes such as wok tossed mixed vegetables, broccoli chicken, fried rice, stir fried noodles and other delicious options. Next to it is their Mongolian Grill where you pick out the items and sauces of your choice and a cook will prepare it on a grill for you. After that would be their noodle station, the prep person will ask what ingredients you want and they will cook it right in front of you. They also have a Spanish section which includes tacos, quesadillas, salsas and some traditional Mexican dishes like carnitas, chile verde, tamales and much more. Fruits and salads are also a option along with a variety of soups to choose from. Lastly they have their dessert isle that is made up of a ice cream section where a staff will scoop it for you, pastries, and other delicious sweet treats for anyone with a sweet tooth. The food was okay and the service was great thanks to their very welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs were it made our visit a satisfying one. They have discounts for children, military, anyone over the age of fifty five and to any Monarch rewards members, higher the tier the cheaper the price. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves to eat, to anyone looking to try something new, if you are looking for a decent buffet to dine at or if you just so happen to be in the area. I will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is a renowned casino and luxury hotel in Reno, originally built in 1972. The expansive casino floor covers over 60,000 square feet and offers various games such as poker, blackjack, roulette, and slot machines. The property's design is inspired by the lost city of Atlantis. Situated on the Strip in downtown Reno, it provides easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
I had my first stay at the Atlantis and LOVED it! The shuttle drivers were great and from the moment I walked in everything went smoothly. The receptions was welcoming, quick, and competent. I stayed in the concierge tower and was so impressed with the room and the view. I loved the pillow menu, and having the concierge lounge was such a treat. Service was fantastic especially Logan and Merwyn at the Sports Bar. The pool and hot tub were excellent. We had excellent meals at the Steakhouse, Sushi, and Bistro Napa with fantastic service. The location could be considered a plus or a minus. It is about 5 minutes to get to the airport, which is convenient, but if you are looking to get out and explore DT Reno (which I recommend), you would need to drive. Overall, we really loved our experience and I look forward to going back!
Maxwell M — Google review
The hotel left an excellent overall impression. Service from the hotel staff was outstanding. Rooms are spacious, clean, with updated interiors, and well-maintained housekeeping. The location is conveniently accessible. There are several parking options - valet parking was included as a complimentary service. However, it’s important to note that, as the hotel staff explained, the restaurants and many other facilities on the property have their management and responsibilities. The hotel staff cannot influence issues that arise there. 1. Purple Parrot — excellent service, tasty food, clean, cozy, and pleasant atmosphere. 2. Toucan Charlie’s Buffet & Grille — the food is good, but the service left a poor impression. If it’s your first time at the hotel and you don’t have an elite or other privileged status, be prepared to wait in line for 20 minutes or even more, even if you’re first in your row, because the cashiers will prioritize guests with status memberships. Summary: If your main goal is to stay at the hotel and play slot machines at the casino, you will have an excellent experience. For everything else, be prepared for mixed situations.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2025. Older casino but recently remodeled. Room was very nice. Staff were accommodating. Ate at the steakhouse one night and would rate it as "fine" but not spectacular. Used the pool and gym and found them both very nice. The area surrounding the property is a bit rough, not many options that are walkable.
Gabe K — Google review
Just loved it! While most casinos are starting to show their age, this one still feels fresh and modern. Rooms are newly remodeled, spacious, and filled with natural light. Elevators actually work smoothly (a rare casino bonus!). I was here for a convention, and moving material was hassle-free with the bell desk’s help. If you’re attending an event, the 3rd-floor rooms are perfect since most shows happen right below in the 2nd-floor D & E halls. Wi-Fi was reliable, and while the property offers plenty of dining options, Uber Eats lobby pickup worked just as well.
Aashish R — Google review
Our stay at this hotel was quite pleasant overall. We were accommodated in the newly renovated rooms, which were impressively spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully modernized. The refreshed design gave the rooms a sleek, contemporary feel that made our stay especially comfortable. The ground floor was lively and full of energy, featuring numerous tables and slot machines that contributed to the hotel’s vibrant atmosphere. Dining options were excellent — the sushi bar and the all‑you‑can‑eat buffet were particularly popular, often drawing lines out the door, which spoke to their quality. We also spent some time at one of the hotel’s lounges, where the drinks were both well crafted and satisfyingly strong. The hotel itself is a striking landmark, easily visible from miles away. Our only complaint was that the casino floor allows smoking, and unfortunately, the lingering cigarette smell clung to our clothes by the end of the evening. Overall, it was a clean, modern, and entertaining place to stay — a solid choice for those looking for both comfort and excitement in one destination.

The Sky Terrace Sushi bar was pretty good! Took the work crew out for our Friday company lunch. I appreciated the light emphasis on the unagi sauce and generous portions. The rice had good texture and chewiness. Not too dry or over soaked. Good taste overall. Some of the salmon was a little ‘pasty’ for lack of a better term. Not sure what was going on there.
Mr Y — Google review
The wife and I had spent 3 days here had a great time. Never really even had to leave the casino. There wasn't much choice far as shopping, but food gambling and amenities were abundant enjoyed the place. I believed that we will definitely come back here. I hope you enjoy And good luck.

I had a good experience staying at the Atlantis Hotel & Casino in Reno. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. The casino area was enjoyable and well-maintained, and the Toucan Charlie’s Buffet had a nice selection of food and desserts. However, they didn’t have lobster or crab legs during my visit, which was a little disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. clean rooms, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I’d definitely consider coming back the next time I’m in Reno.

Lively but classy atmosphere and environment. Our service was impeccable thanks to Eddie and Vito. There were large groups of people sitting near and around the four of us, but our service never dropped below 5 Stars! Having an exposed kitchen is always desirable, so you can watch the chefs in action if you choose to and to see the cleanliness of the establishment. Our appetizers, entrees and dessert were artfully presented and all were delicious. When the Service AND Food are this good, it is easy to state that this was an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend Bistro Napa!

Napa Bistro during Happy Hour is one of our favorite spots. The restaurant is always clean, the service is great, and the food is both delicious and affordable. If you want a table during happy hour, make sure to get there early—otherwise, you might have to wait, but it’s definitely worth it. They’re always adding new dishes to the menu, but my go-to favorites are the steamed Manila clams and the prime rib sliders. So good!

This review id for the Bistro Napa Social Hour that goes from just 4:30 to 6:30 pm everyday. There's a rush to get in so get here early to get a seat. The food is all half off the listed prices as well as the wines ... even the good stuff! I had a Rombauer Merlot reg it was $24 a glass! That's the good stuff! I got it for just$12 a glass ... I had two! And get this they do 8 oz. pours here, that's way bigger than most bars! The food here is wonderful and the service is super fast, they got that down here! We had the BBQ pork ribs, 5 stars, the steamed clams with the amazing broth ... I wanted to drink it! The flat bread are all good. Check this happy hour out!

Went here with some friends. The service was great from the moment we got seated until we left. We went on a Friday evening and it was too busy, pretty chill atmosphere while we were there. The food was great, no complaints at all. I had a mock tail. I forgot the name of the drink but found it really refreshing and tasty. I ordered “sexy fries” and they are good French fries but they’re just French fries lol! For dinner I ordered a bistro burger and let me tell you…it’s a pretty hefty burger. It’s good but afterwords I was stuffed. No dessert for me. We were giving cotton candy and a brownie as we left. That was also great tasting. I would recommend this for anyone for any occasion

The service could have been better since I got the happy hour 🍻 seats 💺. I think the boa bun being fried crispy is what took so long. The food 🍱 here is great. 😊 I really want to try the calamari next time. I got the Asian ribs, boa bun , & prime rib sliders. 🍔. All was very yummy. I also got a virgin drink 🍹 that was very tasty. I would recommend reserving a table ahead of time to avoid the wait.

I've been coming to the social hour for over 10 years. The line length is hit or miss but Ive always found a table. Hosts are kind and knowledgeable, food is always delicious, and drinks are the best happy hour deal in Reno. Steamed class are everyone's favorite. Try the Jalamango cocktail and whiskey on the rocks for half price.

Lovely place. Great food. Was here for a 18 person retirement party. Oysters, wedge salad, pork belly, filet and salmon. Such great food. Atmosphere was away from the smoke and smell of the casino which was wonderful. Great service for a party our size. Great wine selection and cocktails.

The food was excellent. We ordered two different types of steak to compare, and a full size lobster tail ($100). everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert (baked Alaska, a gift for my wife's birthday). Almost too much service and attention, but it was friendly and not awkward.

La Strada, located at the Eldorado Resort Casino in Reno, is renowned for offering an upscale interpretation of traditional Italian cuisine. This esteemed restaurant has consistently been recognized as one of the finest dining establishments in both Reno and the entire country. The ambiance at La Strada is designed to transport diners to a charming Italian village, while the menu features an array of authentic Northern Italian dishes such as homemade pasta, fresh seafood, and savory beef entrees.
I absolutely loved our breakfast this morning! The food was delicious, especially the fluffy pancakes topped with fresh berries and a drizzle of Nutella. Our waiter was exceptional—very attentive and friendly, making sure our coffee cups were never empty. Plus, the host who seated us greeted us with a warm smile and a cheerful demeanor that set a positive tone for our meal. Overall, it was a delightful experience that left us feeling satisfied and happy!

Brianna was so amazing. She went above and beyond and shared her opinions on dishes and even recommended her favorites. One of the kindest servers I have ever had at The Row. The food it's self was great. I highly recommend the fried artichokes and the strawberry Panna cotta!!

Lia was phenomenal! Came here for the last dinner of our honeymoon and couldn't have ended on a better note. The food and drinks were delicious, it's a beautiful space, and felt it was an excellent value for the money we spent. We highly recommend La Strada!

I can’t say enough good things about my dining experience! The food was absolutely divine, with every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. But what truly elevated the evening was Brianna’s exceptional service. She was attentive without being intrusive, incredibly friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she had such a warm and welcoming presence. Thank you, Brianna, for making the night so special—you’re a gem!

We had an amazing experience at La Strada, from making the reservation to the quality of the food to the exceptional customer experience. We had the mushroom ravioli for a starter and the steak with mushroom demi glaze with prawns, per their recommendations. The food was delicious and the expresso martini was fantastic! Our server was Brianna and we also had the opportunity to meet the manager, Mike. They made our experience at La Strada unforgettable. The are both truly wonderful people. We would highly recommend La Strada for an overall awesome dining experience. Brad and Wendy from Minnesota

Enjoyable Italian Restaurant inside the casino...can be walked to from the Silver Legacy and El Dorado. The server, Aleksandr, was great! However, if you are wanting fast service, this is more of leisurely dining experience which we prefer. The food was good! The meatballs were excellent which we paired with the sautéed spinach. The baked ziti was good, but the mushroom raviolis were wonderful! The cocktails were good too. We went to the bar area after dinner to have a dessert cocktail and the espresso martini was very good. The bar area was a nice atmosphere as well and the bartender, Kelly, was terrific.

La Strada was one of the BEST experiences that we have had in a very long time, it may have been the best EVER! Keith was our server and not only did he get us everything we asked for at an incredible pace, but kept us laughing, conversing, and having fun during the entire dining experience. My recommended mocktail was made right in front of me, which I was very pleasantly surprised with. The starter bread was fantastic, the fritto misto was amazing, and the prawn vodka pasta was to die for. I would go back to El Dorado specifically just for Keith to take care of us. I’m looking forward to the day we’re back in town. Thank you Keith and La Strada!

Wild River Grille is a modern restaurant located in the historic Riverside Hotel, offering a variety of American dishes and cocktails. Situated on Virginia Street by the Truckee River, this family-owned establishment has been serving the Reno area for 12 years. With quick service and minimal wait times, it's an ideal spot for a business lunch. The large patio overlooking the river provides a serene setting during summer, often featuring live band performances.
This place is incredible. It’s not cheap but I felt it was the biggest bang for my buck, so I came here every night for dinner during my 3 night work trip. Night One - Elk Medallions Night two - Double Cut Pork Chop Night Tre - Wedge Salad and Pork Belly All were glorious! The service and atmosphere are precise. All 3 separate servers were excellent, attentive. It’s a trend of a healthy environment in my opinion. Live music outside that’s light and easy going. I can’t believe people have provided less than perfect ratings. 4.4 doesn’t reflect where they belong on the 5.0 spectrum. That’s said…Don’t come here. I don’t want you to increase my wait time.

I made a reservation, and then day of they called me to confirm...which I appreciated. Showed up a little early and was still able to be seated quickly (sat inside but there is an outdoor seating option). I didn't order any appetizers, just a main dish with water. I got the spicy shrimp pasta with garlic bread. It's pretty good but I thought it was on the mild side. But then again, I eat ghost peppers once in a while so I'm used to hot stuff. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Lovely experience at Wild River Grille. Service was wonderful, food was divine, cocktails were delicious! Cute place with outdoor and indoor seating. The location is on the river front, but you cannot see the river from the inside dinning, possible views from the outside patio. However, we walked along the Riverwalk after dining and that was lovely. Would definitely come back.

The food was amazing and worth the wait. My husband had the ribeye steak which was melt in mouth deliciousness. I had the house special halibut and that was flaky, moist, and fresh. Scallop appetizer was amazing and a shame there’s only 3. But they were a good medium size. A cute little restaurant to walk to in the heart of downtown next to the river.

Got seated right away for a party of 2. Food was good, I ordered the spicy shrimp pasta and my husband got the mahi-mahi. We also ordered the mussels as appetizer and some drinks. Overall, the the whole experience is good, atmosphere is chill. The outdoor sitting can get crowded and the space is kinda tight. I would suggest if you have a big group to call ahead and get a reservation.

I have seen this restaurant for years, but I've never tried it until now. Why? This place was delicious! Pictured is a White sangria and the bread pudding. Divine. We ordered the caprese for an appetizer (nut free pesto!) main dishes, the chicken piccata and braised short rib. Service was. Great, the vibes were there. I'd love to go back in warmer weather and sit on the patio!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a dinner with a large group in the private dining room at The Wild River Grill, situated on the RiverWalk in Downtown Reno. This contemporary restaurant, with its nature-inspired decor, full bar, and spacious riverside patio, is located in the historic Riverside Hotel building, right on the banks of the scenic Truckee River. While the restaurant has a unique ambiance, the culinary experience received varied feedback from our group of twenty, and the service, unfortunately, was somewhat inattentive, which was a bit disappointing.

I love this steakhouse! It is a nice, fine dining atmosphere. The host is always very welcoming & friendly. The servers are extremely nice & helpful also. The food has been top notch every time I have gone (about 10 times now). My favorite things are the beet salad & the king crab legs. Everything I've tried has been delicious though! Absolutely incredible dining experience! The peppercorn-crusted New York steak was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The peppercorn crust added the perfect balance of spice and texture, making every bite memorable. The wine selection was outstanding, offering a wide range of choices that paired beautifully with the meal. The manager was exceptionally helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and that we found the ideal wine pairing. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere — highly recommend!

Just ok. My wife and I used to frequent 5 star Restaurants in Scottsdale, Arizona frequently… we were hoping for similar experience, but not even close. The Wagyu Filet wasn’t any more special that a Filet at any other local Steakhouse. It was the Australian cut. Our stay here was a month ago, and none of the other food was memorable. The drink we ordered was delicious. But only good for a few swallows and an empty glass of ice. We loved the Casino, but learned a valuable lesson and will eat at local restraints elsewhere when we visit.

Omg!! This place was exactly what I needed when I needed it. After a 2 year deployment I missed a delicious old fashioned. If you know anything about old fashioned you know it can be hard to find someone who makes them well. Mo made mine and it did not disappoint. Thank you for making my first drink post deployment an excellent one. Lisandra and Eric were my servers and they were so kind and attentive. They didn't judge my attire or unkempt appearance at all...simply served me with smiles and kindness. I really appreciate you guys! I will most definitely be back. Cheers!

Amazing food my server was so nice and sweet. Our food came out so fast. Not too pricey but worth it. Deep fried candy yams! That fish bowl margarita 😍,🤤🤤🤤

Ruby River is a classic American restaurant. The dining room was large with decent decorations and service was excellent. The bar also looked good. WiFi was not available. There were many authentic American dishes in the menu. Their free bread was decent with butter. I ordered their signature 6oz sirloin steak. It was well-grilled with sizzling cream, but it tasted a little old at medium temperature. Mashed potatoes tasted good. The price was a little high. The food was not bad, but I was expecting more at this price.

Went with a party of four for dinner before a show. The restaurant is a bit tired looking. The service was very good - attentive and caring. Fresh bread was brought to the table and was tasty. We had a couple of appetizers that were quite good. Alas the prime rib and steaks, while cooked to the right temperature, were disappointing. The prime rib was tough, and the seasoning and crust on the steaks was off. Their French onion soup was bland with too much stringy cheese. A bit of fine tuning in the kitchen and freshening up the interior could turn things around.

Looked at reviews before I went to this restaurant at 4.3 stars when we attended it there in previous comments is complaining about the restaurant I think all of those comments is were false I had no issues with this restaurant. The Rim Asian Bistro is a distinctive eatery that offers a variety of traditional Asian dishes, ranging from wonton and hot and sour soup to Mongolian beef, honey-glazed walnut prawns, kung pao chicken, chow mein, and more. Moreover, they boast an extensive sushi menu that can be enjoyed either at your table or at the Rim bar. Located within the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, this restaurant presents a unique fusion of flavors from various Asian cuisines.
We eat here for the first time. The restaurant was crowded so we opted to sit at the sushi bar instead. Out server was very attentive. She keeps coming by to ask if we needed anything else. The sashimi are very fresh and tasty. We had a good time! Don't forget to get the ice cream. It's fantastic!

I used the GSR App to book a table at The Rim through Open Table. I was seated promptly and greeted by Fernando Lemel who helped me find what I wanted. I enjoyed the pot stickers and the Golden Gate roll which was new to the menu. I wanted some hot saki and Fernando suggested a lechee one that was floral and delicious. I’ll be making a return trip soon, so good. Fast friendly and helpful service.

So 'not the worst' is the nicest thing I can say. This place used to be good, but times have changed. After a few bites in, the food seemed to loose its flavor. I will say the Sweet and Sour Chicken held its own. The Dragon Roll Sushi is supposed to be a cooked roll, but it was not cooked inside and tbh , a little gross. The Mussels were sad, don't order those. The busser was very kind and efficient. The manager was friendly checked on us often. The hostess was not the most friendly, but we only had to interact with her in the beginning. The server (Clay) was kind and friendly, albeit rather slow. I wouldn't want to be here on a busy night.
Corrina S — Google review
Original I tried Rim on 10/12 and tried the general chicken with the crab rangoons. The food was decent. However I went back on 10/14 with a group of friends and I got the hot and sour soup and the rangoons again. Immediately after having a few bites of the soup it tasted fishy and I started to get nauseous. I barely made it to my room spending the evening with food poisoning. I tried to talk to staff next day and no luck with talking with the manager. As for service it was just okay and slow to order. As for atmosphere it's a casino so average with a hint of cigarette smoke. Overall I would not go back again after spending the night in the bathroom.
Moi M — Google review
We ate at Rim twice during our stay. The first night we sat at the sushi bar due to the lack of available tables...it was just busy. The all you can eat sushi is a great deal when it's available. The sushi chef will custom make you anything on the menu. I had the sea bass and it was fantastic. The second night, I ordered the kung pao chicken and it was just ok. My daughter had the orange chicken and she gave it a thumbs up. I wish I would have ordered the sushi instead. Service was pretty good given that we were seated in the extra dining room across from the entrance. We'll probably be back for the sushi.
Jon L — Google review
I was excited for my sushi. Even though I had previously had subpar experiences at this place, I had been told this place had changed its ways and was decent. And then our main food came, and it was worse than the starters. If you’re going to serve frozen fish, perhaps thaw it out first. The food is awful. There is no other way to say it. That said, it does have good service in a nice atmosphere.
Churchill V — Google review
Slow service plan accordingly. Food is good with large portions. Our server was great however our order came out wrong a few times, not entirely sure if it was the servers fault or not. They made this right and compensated for issues by clearing charges for those items. I would go again, but most likely would not go when they are busy or if I were pressed for time.
Donovan L — Google review
To preface; I don't like sushi, so i can't review how it was, but appearance wise (you can see for yourself in the pictures) was great. I am a simple eater, tend to find something i like on a menu and stick to it. For asian cuisines i am a fried rice person, but will branch out on occasion. Additionally, the plates were share sized which was always my favorite way to eat, so kuddos on that. Starting the meal off with a few appetizers we chose the edamame and potstickers. Not being a fan of edamame i have to assume they were good as both the missus and my son devoured them speaking nothing but praise. The pot stickers were flavorful and packed with filling, fried to a nice crisp served with a sauce i could not identify, and did not use as they needed no sauce. The dish I selected was called Rim Fried Rice, a combo fried rice including shrimp, chicken, beef and pork. The rice was cooked well, the veggies crisp, and the shrimp cook perfectly, but the flavors seemed to just be a melody of one flavor, it all tasted the same. Texturally i got the shrimp and the tender meat, but flavor wise it felt bland. My son elected for the broccoli beef; hes the smart one. I've eaten my fair share of broccoli beef in my day, and i avoid it usually because of the texture of the broccoli itself. However this broccoli was crisp, and yet cooked and hot. I loved the snap it made biting into it, which contrasted the tenderness of the beef which virtually melted in your mouth. The sauce had just a hair of backside heat (as a coward to spicy food, i loved it) which made the whole thing come together amazingly. My only wish was more of that amazing sauce, i would buy that stuff by the bottle. Our server Kristina (name dropping because she deserves the recognition) was outstanding. Casino restaurants are busy, and some patrons can be... demanding. She was on point, I watched her weave between her tables ensuring drinks were filled and needs were met. When our food arrived she was attentative to anything more we needed before starting, then gave us a decent amount of time to begin enjoying our food without interuption before checking on us. The other tables being served by other staff were being taken care of as well, so i can only say the staff there was amazing. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and for the price, most definantly worth it. If it wasnt for my rice this could of easily earned my 5th star. Lastly, they offer military discount which is more rare than you think, so i thank them for supporting the men and women of our armed forces.

Food is decent, chefs are amazing. The atmosphere is great, and the cooks are talented. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. The manager lady is more worried about herself than the customer experience. Rather than fixing a discontented customer situation, she’d rather protect herself than be accommodating.

If you visit here for an event on a special day, I think you can have a good time. Depending on how much experienced chef is in charge of the table, the fun can be halved. In fact, Depanyaki food tastes so good, but all the ingredients are cooked with the same ingredients and sauce, so I don't enjoy it that much because it's easy to bite. I didn't get a strong impression because of chef who is not that much skilled chef .and the food is cooked with soy sauce with butter and garlic and salt & pepper from start to finish as I said. Considering this, please consider whether to visit or not.
Kai D — Google review
Had a good time overall. The food was good and they accommodated my fish allergy well. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. With all the grills going it was pretty hot in there, was manageable but a little cooler inside would have made the experience even better. Not a fan of sweating while I'm eating. Would definitely return though.

Took my wife here for dinner for the first time since moving to Reno. My wife and I were regulars at out favorite Japanese Steakhouse back in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I have to say with all the buzz and the prices I thought it would be much better. The service was ok but not great and the Chef was very boring and not very interactive like I’m used to and felt like he was rushing to get done and get us out for the next group. The food is what I was disappointed in the most, very bland with not much flavor. The fried rice was just ok, not great and the vegetables were barely cooked, very raw like. There were 8 other people at the table and I saw a lot of food that didn’t get eaten. I felt the cucumber salad and the ice cream was the best part and the miso soup was horrible. Make your own opinion and give it a shot, but we definitely won’t be back.

I cannot understand the reviews saying they had a great meal. We were served what could only be described as something close to garbage. Vegetables were definitely frozen in a bag and heated in boiling water, god awful. The meat was absolutely not fresh nor did it resemble anything like meat, again, it seemed like it was processed and frozen and brought to temp in a microwave. The food here is bottom of the lowest barrel you can find, it’s inedible and it’s extremely overpriced for what it is, considering its pre-cooked and microwaved. Absolutely disgusting, we had 2 bites and that was enough. We paid over 100$ for something worse than fast food! The only people that might like this are casino goers that are too drunk to notice they’re eating something a dog might think twice about. DO NOT fall in to this tourist trap. On a positive note, the staff were welcoming and really nice. It’s a shame, the place looks really cool.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the manager. I was seated promptly. Our server was great she recommended the appetizers. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I ordered Kung pao chicken and general chicken. Everything tasted superb.

Everything was perfect! From the moment we arrived, the guy hosting made us feel really welcomed. Then our server was awesome, the food was perfect and the decor was really fun. 5 starts and will definitely be back.

The first thing you get is how magnificent the place is. Very high end decor that said the price of the food equals the taste of the decor. Kay was our sever and provided us with a world-class service. Attentive, and courteous his attention to detail and his knowledge of the menu surprised and delighted me. All in all, it was an exquisite evening for us. She had the tofu snow pea mushrooms, and I had the peppered fried pork, their egg drop soup and their fried wonton, were some of the best I have had. Certainly some of the best I’ve ever had in the casino. Oh the jasmine tea paired well our meal.

The Cheesecake Factory is an American chain restaurant known for its extensive menu and signature cheesecakes. While some customers have experienced slow service, others have enjoyed the diverse food options. From classic hamburgers to gluten-free mushroom burgers, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. The cheesecakes receive mixed reviews, with some finding them underwhelming while others praise desserts like the s'mores galore and tiramisu.
We stopped by for dinner since the area offering of restaurants is hit or miss. The waiter was on point and focused. Right when our food came out a blackout hit with all the power going out. It turned into an even better dinner for us. Food was delicious and perfect. The staff and mgr was checking in on all the customers. You can’t go wrong at the Cheese Cake Factory. Keep up the good service and food! Thanks to the staff for a great experience!

Unfortunately, it took a while to get the bread out and get our cheesecake slices to us. Rick was a nice server and ensured our glasses were refilled timely. Two of the pasta we got did not taste good at all. So we had management remove 2 of the entrees we ordered from the check..the manager was happy to do so or replace it. The space from the bench to the table was quite small. Made me feel gross and not want to eat. It wasn't very "inviting." We were disappointed overall in the wait, dining experience, and cheesecake slices. We had the original, triple berry bliss, tuxedo, and coconut creme cheesecake. The only one that was good was original to my disappointment 😞

Great food and good semi-late takeout / dining option because there’s little to none in Reno. The only downside is that this location runs out of a lot of stuff quite often - could be bad kitchen management or due to remoteness. The Bay Area and SoCal locations don’t seem to have this issue. Still good :)

Edit: I am changing my review as The Cheesecake Factory manager did did reach out to me and made things right and did apologize for my previous experience. Thank you. I generally love the Cheesecake Factory. I placed an order for curbside pick up. I got the stuffed mushrooms and for the amount that I paid, it was very tiny and very underwhelming. The rest of my order was pretty OK, but I’m very disappointed. I included a picture of what I received next to my gift card for comparison.

$24.50 for this is an absolute joke. Barely any sauce at all. The store must be running low on sauce so that's why it's overpriced.... since half my noodles were dry and hardly covered. The pancetta was hard as a brick. Not even worth chewing on it. Welp. Waste of $$$
Sheydog — Google review
The best Thai lettuce wraps, the sauces were AMAZINGGGGGG. The kids pasta! Wow, easily able to share with another sibling with how big the portions were for a KIDS menu. The miso salmon.... cooked to PERFECTION!!!! Overall great place for the family.

Waited 30 minutes to get the appetizer, it was lukewarm and burned on the top. Seems like our food sat in a warmer for a while before we got it. I've been to other locations and loved this dish, it was dry and extremely disappointing here. When the waiter came back around after another 20 min, we were given a free one to go but still paid for the first. Props that he tried to fix it, but we were still neglected for an hour with expensive mediocre food.
Lorelei G — Google review
We first tried The Cheesecake Factory in 2016 while on holiday from Europe and really liked it, so we went back a couple of times. However, when we visited the Seattle location last year, we were a bit disappointed and thought the standards had changed. Thankfully, when we gave it another chance in Reno this July, we had a great experience again! The food was delicious, and the portions were huge as always. We were hoping to try the cheesecake, but after such a big meal, we just couldn’t manage it—and those cheesecake calories are no joke! Maybe next time…

With over 69 years of experience, the chefs at India Kabab & Curry are dedicated to providing authentic Indian cuisine with regular trips to India to bring back the latest flavors.
This is the BEST indian restaurant in Town!!! Been going for years! For newbies~ try the Chicken Tikka Masala and Shahi Navratan Korma! Worth every penny! They also have a lunch buffet with all sorts of dishes. Some is too exotic for me~ but those two dishes I mention are literally my favorite restaurant dishes in entire city! (Reno) Pictures are takeout.

My experience at Indian Kabab and Curry was nothing short of exceptional, a true hidden gem in every sense. The food was indescribably delicious, with vibrant flavors that danced on the palate, showcasing the rich depth of Indian cuisine. The service was impeccable, attentive, warm, and effortlessly professional. Making me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I stepped in. I opted for takeout, and my order was ready in a lightning-fast 10-15 minutes, a testament to their efficiency. The restaurant’s ambiance was luxurious yet unpretentious, with beautifully set tables that invited you to linger, though I didn’t dine in. While waiting, I sat at the bar, a stylish and comfortable spot, and was treated to a complimentary glass of cold, refreshing water served in a stunning blue wine glass. A thoughtful touch that elevated the brief wait. Indian Kabab and Curry is a treasure worth discovering, blending exquisite food, stellar service, and a refined atmosphere without missing a beat.

I loved my experience here from the very beginning! The most important part of any experience for me is the customer service and the customer experience. I entered with my mom and we were seated immediately and taken care of. We had two people assisting us directly and while the lady seemed shy (still friendly), the man that assisted us wasn't so. He joked around and made the experience more lively. The food was great also. I tried a few different things and everything I tried was great! His personality though...

Had the lunch buffet, the garlic naan that came with it was a big hit, and the chicken tikka masala sauce was also really good, though the chicken seemed a bit rubbery. Those were my highlights, the rest was not too memorable. The lunch buffet goes from 11am-3pm and is about 17$ per person after tax. Free parking behind the building.

My friend and I both loved this place. The food was so good. We shared, ceviche, the warm goat cheese, seared foie gras, pork buns, and the scallops. Everything was really good, but surprisingly, I think the warm goat cheese was my favorite dish. The cocktails and the service were both good as well. The price was totally worth it.

Reno has a true gem in the heart of midtown. There's a reason it's been here for 25 yrs and I could see that evident in the delicious and creative dishes on their menu. I really had a hard time deciding what to order because I wanted to try it all. The yellowtail app was very well balanced with a nice bit of heat, and the tomato salad had some of the juciest tomatoes I've ever had. The duck breast came 2 ways, both excellent and perfectly cooked. Though I was a bit jealous of my partners Halibut because the broth was so good. Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and professional and we had an excellent date night. I definitely look forward to returning to try some of the other tasty sounding dishes.

Had the rudest waiter of my life. Smart comments evertime he came to our table. Got super pissed cause i asked for ketchup for my fries. Cleaned around our table (not our mess) and my wife while we were sitting at our table. Acted like she was in the way. Upset her to no end. For the price I expect better service. RUINED our anniversary! Too bad the food and atmosphere was nice but not worth dealing with him.

Had an absolutely incredible meal here with some friends. Everything we ordered was on point with bold flavors and great execution. We had multiple appetizers and all four entrees were amazing. I could not recommend a restaurant more. By far the best food in Reno, and best upscale restaurant. The woman who took our drink order before we were sat at our table was a little rude but I would gladly come back.

Expensive but worth it for special occasions . The food is amazing , the decor is cute and the place is rather small but makes it feel Intimate. Expect to pay about 40 to 50 for main dishes , 15 to 20 for small plates and starters and bottles of wine between 50 and 200 . Came here for Christmas eve dinner . There’s no way to book a reservation online , you have to call in . Service was great .

The food was AMAZING. Pricey, but so worth it. The staff was super friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. The atmosphere was wonderful, it was packed when we went but I never felt like I had to talk over anyone even though the tables were sort of close together. The Mason jar cheesecake was TO DIE FOR. Everything came out cooked to perfection and in a timely manner. The lobster spaghetti came out with a whole damn lobster!

Really cute place with a ton of menu options. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was great. The garlic bread though.. my gosh the garlic bread was SO insanely good. Addicting. Probably the best garlic bread I have ever had.

Just when I thought this place couldn't get any better. Had reservations for an early dinner on a Sunday. We were promptly escorted to our table and greeted by an amazing waiter named Becky. She gave us a list of the specials for the day and the last item got my attention. It was cioppino. I live in a small town in central California close to Monterey and Santa Cruz and a 2 hour drive to SF. A big fan of seafood and crab cioppino. I ordered the cioppino and was served a seafood melody. Mind you it did not have dungeness crab that I'm used to. But it did have clams, mussels, large shrimp and pasta in an absolutely amazing broth. I savored every bite and served garlic bread to dunk in the amazing broth. High marks for this dish. It was probably one of the best cioppinos I ever had and that is saying alot. I did ask for the recipe for this amazing dish. The cooks were pretty busy but Becky did give me the basic ingredients for the homemade broth. Just about finished the whole bowl but I did have to save room for the wonderful tiramisou. It was a great evening and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Thanks again to our waiter Becky and the amazing cooks at Zozo's. I'll be back.

Quite amazing and we’re so accommodating to my genuine food allergy, I was so happy because everything smelled so good. Definitely an establishment who cares, at from the many diners I’m sure they have a well established love in their neighborhood. Great atmosphere, great servers and I’m sentimental to the back of house for going out of their way to make me a basic linguini with capers and white wine butter sauce. Tasted just perfectly!!?

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Italian Restaurant Zozo in Reno, and it was an extraordinary culinary experience that I can't wait to share! First and foremost, the Lobster Ravioli was an absolute delight. The ravioli were perfectly cooked, generously filled with succulent lobster, and complemented by a rich and creamy sauce that elevated every bite to a new level of deliciousness. The Sautéed Shrimp Scampi was another standout dish. The shrimp were plump and juicy, cooked to perfection, and bathed in a garlic-butter sauce that was simply heavenly. The balance of flavors was impeccable, making this dish a true highlight of the evening. For seafood lovers, the Cioppino is a must-try. This hearty seafood stew was brimming with fresh clams, mussels, shrimp, and fish in a savory tomato broth. Each spoonful was a delightful burst of oceanic flavors, and it was clear that only the freshest ingredients were used. We started our meal with the Bruschetta with Toasted Focaccia, which set the tone for the evening. The crisp focaccia was topped with ripe, juicy tomatoes, fragrant basil, and a drizzle of balsamic reduction that tied all the flavors together beautifully. To cap off an amazing meal, we indulged in the Spumoni for dessert. This traditional Italian ice cream was the perfect blend of cherry, pistachio, and chocolate, creating a refreshing and sweet finale to our dinner. In addition to the outstanding food, the ambiance at Zozo is warm and inviting, and the service is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. Moreover, Zozo boasts an impressive wine list that perfectly complements their menu. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking for the perfect pairing, you'll find a selection of exquisite wines that enhance the dining experience. Italian Restaurant Zozo is a gem in Reno, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Five stars!

Two stars because the service was good as well as the garlic bread and salad. Unfortunately, the entree's were just not good. I ordered the chicken piccata and it came with a thick white sauce and hardly any capers. It had little to no flavor. I actually almost questioned if they gave me the right dish. My mom got the chicken Marsala and it was just okay. Overall, for the price, we left extremely disappointed.
Ashley S — Google review
Was a busy night with a very large party in back room. They were honest about the possible delay of food from the kitchen; no problems. Cocktails were very good. Our waiter, Cody, took time to make recommendations and we had the appetizer special, minestrone soup & salad and Zozo’s chicken. Salads served on cold plates that were still cold after I finished. Pasta served with a spoon so I could get every last drop; and cooked a perfect Al dente. I found the service to be really good, especially considering how busy they were with a large party in the back we’ll be back…

Did a last-minute reservation an hour before and got a spot for Valentine's Day. My fiancée and I had their 4 course special. Everything was so good, from the appetizers to the main dish (lamb). The strawberry New York cheesecake was a good compliment. We will definitely come back for their regular menu soon. They had excellent service as well.

My mom and I had dinner here on our first night in town. It was so wonderful! Not very busy, even on a Saturday night. There was a large party in the front room, but the hostess was kind enough to seat us far away from the crowd, which we really appreciated. Our server was prompt, knowledgeable and personable. We both had cocktails that were really tasty. The dinner salad was beautiful, and so much flavor! Strawberries, dried cranberries, pears, fresh butter lettuce, feta, with a tasty white vinaigrette. It was a meal in itself. We both had the house-made pasta, which was also delicious and rich. The portions were generous, enough leftovers for another meal. Overall a great experience! Prices were reasonable for the high-quality food, cool atmosphere and great service. Will definitely be back.

Underwhelming. Found this place on the list of best brunches for Reno. Showed up at 8:30 on a Saturday morning expecting brunch but all they had was a regular breakfast menu (brunch doesn't start until 10, this was not detailed on their website). Ordered the Colin's special with a hot tea. The chicken used was dark meat and the eggs didn't look like egg whites, but it tasted OK. Nothing to rave about. Quick service and nice ambience.

Prepare yourself for a long review, I take 5 stars very seriously! I booked the Roundabout Grill for a bachelorette party and had the absolute best experience all around. Booking the event was seamless and the event planner Erin was super responsive, on top of all the details and was very flexible with our needs. We had a last minute change in head count that per the contract they didn't have to accommodate but they did with no problem which was above and beyond. The three course group menu had lots of great choices and is a bargain at just under $50 per person with food, tax, gratuity and a small fee for our big party. Lots of wine by the bottle choices as well that are priced appropriately. Food was great, I wish we had taken more pictures! The kale salad and tuna poke cups were the stars of the show! We had steak, salmon and chicken and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Desert was a really nice berry crime brûlée which was a perfect ending to the meal. Service was really outstanding, drinks were always being filled, the course were nicely timed and the dinner was so seamless. This is a really great choice for large parties in Reno.

Solid brunch spot but not exceptional. I liked the carbonara pizza but was a bit disappointed by the chicken and waffles (too dry and not well seasoned).

This place is awesome. I had the mocktail and the Duck Yeah! pizza. The pizza was INSANELY good. I also enjoyed the mocktail which I believe was $13 but it was made with NA spirits which I thought was cool. The only thing I didn’t like was the location, being right on the busy street and a couple of really loud cars flew by which was startling. But I would still go back and plan to again in the near future!!

Free street parking. Do have to look for it since it is in riverwalk district, which seems to be a downtown area. Came at a Saturday night around 7pm-ish. Packed restaurant. Duck yeah pizza. Amazing! Dough was yummy. I ordered a $40 3 piece scallop special. I would pass on this one next time. The pickled seabean salad was a little saltier than I would have liked. We liked the black spaghetti. The first itieration was delicious but the second order, there was one less shrimp and the shrimp were not as vibrantly colored (maybe less cook time, still yummy) and less sauce was included. Not sure why there was inconsistecy. Perhaps it was later in the night? Service was super fast and our waitress checked in with us quite frequently. I may be back one day since my parents are frequent gamblers and I pop into tahoe/reno for ski tuning/mounting and other ski activities.

Smee's Alaskan Fish Bar & Market Place is a popular seafood spot located in the Riverwalk District of Reno. What started as a beloved food truck has now found a permanent home along the Truckee River, offering stunning views and fresh seafood. The menu highlights their famous Fish and Chips served with house-made tartar sauce. While some visitors have experienced minor service hiccups, many praise the delicious seafood and refreshing mango margaritas.
This place is phenomenal. I grew up south of Boston and was raised on seafood, as much as I love Reno, the seafood here isn’t the same. This place is an exception. I had fish and chips and the tempura shrimp. The quality of the seafood is incredible. The shrimp has a sweet flavor, the cod flakes nicely, the batter was crispy and not overpowering. The inside of the restaurant is clean, the ladies working the front were friendly and obviously working very hard. I couldn’t be more impressed. I have a short list of favorite restaurants in Reno and this is going to the top. I literally felt like I was home in Plymouth. Come in and enjoy it, you won’t regret it. Whoever is running this business, congratulations, you nailed it and should be very proud of your food 😊
Laura D — Google review
Sorry in advance for the long review but I feel like this place deserves every detail addressed. The food is absolutely excellent. I grew up in a high-profile beach town and never had fish and chips like this. I wasn't even a huge fan of fish and chips until I tried the fish here. What really puts it over the edge, is their homemade tartar sauce. Seriously you haven't really treated yourself if you haven't tried it. Also, when I'm done, I usually dip my fries in it. The picture today in my review, is the one piece fish basket. It comes with the tartar sauce, coleslaw and the fries. I usually come here with my husband on the weekend and we get the 4 piece basket and we just share.... It is plenty of food. I also want to talk about how absolutely clean and pristine the inside is. They do have a drive through if you don't want to get out of your car. But eating inside is also a treat, it is so relaxing, they always have really good music playing. There's a large window in the front with tables that has beautiful plants hanging. When I go in, I usually just get a cup of water for my drink as they have a huge, iced water dispenser that you can just get fresh water out of, so you don't have to spend extra on a drink if you don't want to. This is also a 100% family run, and nothing feels better than supporting that. I have been here many times and it's always a pleasant experience, sometimes I feel like I'm on a mini-vacation when I sit down and have a meal here. In the past I have read some negative comments on Facebook about their "prices" so I do want to address that.... Please remember that the last time I got a large fry and a coke at McDonald's, just that was like at least $10. And that is the bottom of the barrel as far as food choices. So paying a few extra dollars for the highest quality fish ingredients, plus supporting a family owned business is really not anything you can complain about. It's just hard when people don't put that into perspective that like you're really just paying a couple dollars extra for the highest quality ingredients. Since I've been here so many times I just thought it was appropriate that I finally leave my thoughts on my review.

The service and hospitality were awesome to start! Clam Chowder is fantastic! Reminded me of New England. The Cod was so flaky, batter crunchy, and seasoned well . Chips were soft inside and had a soft crunch 👏🏼 Needless to say, highly recommend! Freshest fish I’ve had out here in the desert and so grateful they are here!

The batter on the fish gets rubbery and soggy quickly after it starts cooling down and the fries went soggy as well. The tartar sauce was good. The coleslaw we both agreed was not good. Its a nice clean place but kinda over priced.

The best fish and chips in town! Family owned and the fish is all made in store. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the fish can't be beat! Highly recommended if you want a decent fish and chips meal.

Prices are a tad high for the area considering Off the Hook is in the area often but I found the staff great and the food was perfect. Good crowd of customers midweek…..

Nice fresh quality selection. I ordered the tempura Shrimp and Cod strips. Both very good. Light batter on both. the Shrimp were good sized and prepared perfectly, the Cod strips were the same and delicious. This isn't cheap fast food. I'll be back 👍

Mexican restaurant
Buenos Grill is a vibrant and family-friendly eatery in Reno, Nevada that embraces a Baja-inspired atmosphere. Known for their delectable fish tacos, delightful patio dining, and efficient service, this restaurant offers a fresh and innovative twist on traditional Mexican cuisine. Their menu boasts an array of mouthwatering dishes including fish tacos with mango salsa, steak ranchero taquitos, and coconut-fried shrimp.
My wife and I came here after hearing there advertisements on the radio with the catchy song. We had fried fish tacos and they were amazing, great flavor and giant piece of succulent fish. We will definitely be coming back.

The vegan street tacos and mango salsa was very tasty. I am glad that they now offer alot of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Service was very good and the atmosphere was very chill and relax.

I grew up in Long Beach California and this is the best Baja fish Taco I have had in years bar none. I was treated graciously by the staff while I waited for my dining companion and they even offered me a beer in a fast food joint. It's a fresh air open environment with lots of sun and patio dining regardless of your party size. The taco was crisp not greasy full of flavor and and a "daddy size portion" if you know what I mean. The best part is the prices you get your money's worth on everything.
TheDogScreamer — Google review
I had a really good experience. My fish taco was well made, chips were warm and the salsa flavor was great. The place was very slow when I was there so service was good as expected. I'm going back in the future at dinner, hopefully they can keep the same quality of food and service. If they do, then I bump this up to 5 stars.

The Coconut Crunchy Tofu is excellent; my husband loves the burritos. The orange sauce is just delightful with it. The Vegan Street Tacos are also a really great small-bite option that feels a bit lighter. The only thing I wish for was a vegetable or side salad/coleslaw option to add to the plates for a lighter option. But everything is delicious, the location is great, and you can access the beautiful Caulin Ranch park from the driveway. Also, they have patio seating available.

This is such a great restaurant. The vegan food they offer is the best in Reno. If you are not vegan they also have regular food that my partner tells me is the best burritos he has ever had. The food is so light and refreshing no heaviness. Do yourself a favor and take yourself out to eat here. Btw the staff is super friendly and lovely humans.

Here is the hidden gem. Add this to your list of good old Reno restaurants that have withstood the test of time!! 25 years since I first discovered it, and still just as good as ever. This place is about customer service and quality fresh food, rather than maximizing corporate profits. That's a hard find these days! Upon walking in I was instantly greeted. The front line worker covered the difference so I wouldn't have to dig for coins in my purse, which was unexpected. Above and beyond. Huge selection. Great variety. Great drinks and craft selection. Fresh quality food and it was served in a timely fashion. 👌 Fair prices. Not one single complaint.
Ms. L — Google review
The place is very nice and so are the people that work there but the food is very bland the salsa was watery no flavor at all. It just was not worth what I paid for it 50$ for three tacos four piece of shrimp and some chicken tenders. You get four piece of shrimp for 11$ I thought that was just crazy all in all the shrimp was the best thing I order and that was only because of the sauce it came with because in my opinion they were overcooked. disappointed with the food and the price. Just wasn’t worth it and the fish tacos were dry. At least I know not to go back.

Silver Chopsticks is a Chinese and Pho restaurant that offers authentic dishes for dine-in or take-out. Known for its quick and friendly service, the restaurant uses fresh ingredients and serves generous portions. Visitors praise the accommodating service, with staff helping to find gluten-free options and making adjustments to suit dietary needs. The food is described as fast, delicious, and reasonably priced, while the restaurant itself is noted for its cleanliness.
Silver Chopsticks exceeded my expectations during a recent lunch visit. I arrived just after their lunch special cutoff at 3:01 PM, but the super kind and friendly staff kindly allowed me to order from the combo menu anyway. The server was helpful and recommended the Kung Pao Chicken when I mentioned I wanted something with chicken or beef and a bit of spice. I paired it with egg drop soup, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. Everything arrived quickly, hot, and fresh. The chicken was tender, the stir-fried zucchini perfectly cooked, and the flavors spot-on. The pot of tea was a nice touch, and the meal was filling and satisfying—all for about $15. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

We went out for dinner at this restaurant yesterday on a friend’s recommendation, and it did not disappoint. The place was clean and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a kind and friendly lady who made us feel right at home. The food was excellent—flavorful, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. Overall, a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Juliene — Google review
The food was slightly pricey for buffet quality. The sweet and sour pork was soggy and bland. The general chicken was okay, but also slightly bland. The hot and sour soup was okay, but needed flavor. Great service, it just didn't make up for the food quality.
Kristopher H — Google review
I have been going here since e covid when I was searching for food. It was great until this last visit, I asked my wife if the restaurant was sold recently, that is how bad I was disappointed. I don't know if that was the case but if not please bring back the same crew as 2 maybe 3 oaths back cause I am not a great cook and I could've made way better shrimp fried rice. The pot stickers were not fully cooked and the egg rolls were small cheap and softly un done.🤮

Combinations were fresh and great for sharing, the only item a bit bland was the seafood combination. The egg foo young and crispy orange beef had delicious flavor, as did the Mongolian beef. The cooks will accommodate you if you want your food less or more spicy.

Hinoki Sushi is a popular sushi spot in Reno, NV that has been gaining attention for its offerings. It offers an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) option with a variety of sushi choices including hand rolls, long rolls, nigiri, and appetizers. Despite initial doubts about the restaurant's appearance, visitors have found the fish quality to be consistent with other local spots.
The service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Sushi was very good rolled nice, and very pleasant presentation. Will have to come back and try some other rolls.

The lights inside was very di and there wasn’t any music (turned it on later). The vibe was missing. I didn’t taste the freshness of the nigiri sushi like other places, including the rice. For the price, it was quite alright. On the other side, the service was great

Purchased all-you-can-eat lunch. Price: It seems pricey for the cafe environment. Atmosphere: plenty of room, music for younger hispanic people. Service: Excellent Food: As a Japanese, the food was latinized with non-asian spices. The food was okay, sushi rice was inadequate and fell apart when picked up with chopsticks at times. The squid had been frozen and was not completely thawed. We got our money's worth, and the food was good. I wish everyone the best, but I have to have authentic and probably will not be back. Hire some Japanese sushi chiefs if you don't have any (didn't see any). Change music to more neutral American or Asian. Or leave everything the way it is, if you're making money.

My mom and I came here during opening hour and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. It was a pleasure being served by our waitress Coral, she was quick to care for our needs and very polite. Food is of excellent quality, no surprise because the cooks are some of the best in the whole area. I will be coming here again sometime in the near future! The Mermaid is my favorite, I highly reccommend it.

Being someone from Vegas who loves AYCE sushi I wanted to try what many considered the best in Reno. Lunch is 27.99 (Open to 4pm) and Dinner is $35.99 with no difference in menu. Sushi and rolls were good without being outstanding. Rolls are smaller in diameter and longer than other restaurants with 10 pieces. Half rolls are allowed on last order. The appetizers like Yakiton, miso soup, edamame, gyoza were also solid but limited in selection vs others in town I tried. Dessert selection with only ice cream and tempura banana is also limited but good. Servjce was very good. Others have complained about the noise and lines but on a weekday for lunch, there were signs of neither. Definitely would visit if in this part of town but I would disagree that this is the best. Indeed, I would say it’s a half notch below the best in Reno.

A wonderful and unassuming quality sushi bar off Longley Lane here in Reno. We passed by this place so many times and finally, out of hunger, we decided to check it out. What a pleasant surprise! Their fish is fresh, the sushi is deftly and skillfully assembled, and the flavors are wonderful. The standards are outstanding and the prices are extremely reasonable. We have ordered a la carte and a couple of times have overeaten when trying their All-You-Can-Eat deal. There will be no returning to the Peppermill's overpriced sushi extravaganza, after indulging at Hinoki! It's less expensive, very fresh, with great service, and I don't have to walk through 80 smokers to get to the eatery! Check it out...you just might be surprised...in fact I'm darn sure you will be!

My spouse and I visited Two Guys from Hong Kong for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious cuisine and excellent service. The variety of dishes offered at an affordable price was impressive, and we particularly enjoyed the soup. The crab Rangoon and egg rolls were perfectly crisp with rich flavors. Additionally, the fried rice was moist and delectable. We definitely plan on returning to this establishment!
An excellent Chinese place. I had the sesame balls and sautéed pork belly. Everything about this place is solid. Simple dining ware from the Zodiac placemats to the plates, they focus on the food. Quick friendly service and excellently cooked food.

I would be confused by restaurant name as the style of cooking is not very Hong Kong-ish. I was disappointed at the wonton soup because the wonton is nothing like real HK ones. Although they have lots of variety in veggies the flavor profile suggests plain chinese .

My husband and I came for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised by the good food and great service. We got so much food for the price, and I especially enjoyed the soup. The crab Rangoon and egg rolls were also perfectly crispy and flavorful. The fried rice wasn’t dry and was delicious. Would definitely come back here.

I had the Mapo-Tofu, and it was great. I’m biased, so my homemade Szechuan Mapo-Tofu is better, of course. But this was still great, standard Mapo. Atmosphere was nice, service was quick and the waitress polite.

Used our 15 uber cash from Amex but these guys scalped us on take out. My $5 soup was $10 through Uber and $20 enter was $ so basically wiped out any savings. And we picked up. WTF. We will never be back. Better food closer to our house.

Small place in the mall what Whole Foods is in on Virginia, extensive menu, the jalapeño shrimp and mango curry chicken were spectacular, and the crab wontons light and fluffy, what’s more the photos in the menu are actual photos of what you will see with your order, a rarity…with all the Chinese options in Reno, this one is easily a top five…. Nothing was too overbearing spicy either…

I never take the time to leave bad reviews.. But the food I got tonight was literally the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Everything was over salted and greasy. The sweet and sour pork wasn't sweet or sour. The soup was super salty. The general chicken didn't taste like anything but the grease it was cooked in. 50 bucks down the drain. But it was ready pretty fast so that's something.

This is a perfect go to in this neighborhood. The food is very authentic and full of flavor. The staff is extremely kind and are very helpful and fast. I generally don’t like leaving negative reviews, but unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered a taco combo (takeout), and my tacos didn’t come with the standard cilantro & cebolla, or rice which was supposed to be included. It did bring beans, but they were extremely bland, to where I couldn’t eat them. The meat on the tacos had good flavor, but the tacos were unusually small with little meat. Also, the price totaled more than expected compared to the menu. On a positive note, the server who took care of me was very friendly.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a charming chain restaurant that specializes in American comfort food, offering a delightful dining experience paired with an on-site general store. Guests rave about the warm and welcoming atmosphere, where friendly staff members go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. From knowledgeable servers who provide excellent menu suggestions to quick service that keeps your drinks full, every visit feels special. The ambiance adds to the overall enjoyment, making it a perfect spot for families or anyone looking for hearty meals in a cozy setting.
This was my first visit to any Cracker Barrel. I am so glad that I went! I was seated promptly. I had the most exceptional server. Mae had an extended knowledge of the menu. She helped me to decide what I wanted to order. She also brought me several different dipping sauces for my food. While I was eating, I looked up, and she had brought me a refill of my drink even before I needed one. She was very kind to me, and she even laughed at my jokes! The food was delicious. The prices were amazing. After I finished eating I went into the gift shop. Tate was very helpful. He also made all kinds of suggestions. I've got to say they have a terrific staff here!

We decided to try Cracker Barrel in Reno, Nevada after my husband highly recommended it. The restaurant itself is charming, with a large shop right at the entrance that gives a nice first impression. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience didn’t live up to the expectations. We ordered Grandma’s Sampler, and while the coffee was warm, it wasn’t hot. The real disappointment came with the pancakes— they were burned and had a toasted, overcooked crust on the edges. We mentioned this to the cashier, who was quick to take one meal off the bill, which we appreciated. However, the overall quality of the food left a lot to be desired, and I really hope they take steps to improve it.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away, but it took about 15 minutes before our drinks were served and our order was taken. We received complimentary biscuits, but they were quite dry—even with the butter packets and honey. The cheese curds were a delicious appetizer, but the rest of the meal fell short. I ordered the Chicken Tender Meal with corn, mac & cheese, and steak fries. The fries were few and overly greasy, the corn lacked flavor (even after adding butter and salt), and the mac & cheese was bland. The chicken tenders were edible, but definitely needed a dipping sauce to add some flavor. Cracker Barrel is a nostalgic place as I grew up in the Midwest and have had great food at other locations. The attached gift shop was clean and charming, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the quality of the food at this visit just didn’t measure up, and I’m not likely to return to this particular location.

As we are visiting from Canada; it’s our 2nd time in a Cracker Barrel!!! We purposely came to Reno to have breakfast here as its my spouse birthday!! After a delicious breakfast; did a bit of shopping in the store!!! Loved the wonderful cashier Tate who had nice jokes & complimented me on my french accent!!! He was very polite & funny! As we rode the scooters to get there for the adventure; I asked if I could have a bag with handles & he immediately went to grab this beautiful bag!!! He didn’t know it but I lost my special needs sister in April & one of the songs we had at her funeral was “You are my sunshine” and her birth flower is a Daisy!!!! 🌼 Thank you Tate!! You made my day ❤️

My wife and son had never been to a Cracker Barrel, so while in Reno...this was their chance. Our breakfast was pretty good, except for the barely warm-to-cool scrambled eggs, the thin bacon (b/c it was advertised as thick), and the coffee. Our waiter was a nice guy, but when he accidently dropped a half & half container into my coffee, I thought he was going to bring me a new cup. But that was not the case. I went ahead and drank it but wasn't a fan of the flavor. French toast was good! Also, the cashier and store staff were nice. Now they can say they had Cracker Barrel. Update (8/18): What a ridiculously lazy reply from Cracker Barrel. If they actually read my review...it answers their question. Minus one star for service [it was "3"].

Nestled in the vibrant Midtown area of Reno, Arario Midtown is a delightful eatery that beautifully marries traditional Korean flavors with innovative fusion cuisine. The name "Arario," which translates to "great heavenly energy" in Korean, truly reflects the culinary magic that unfolds within its warmly-lit space. Since its inception as a food truck by owners TJ and Hani Cho in 2016, this restaurant has blossomed into a beloved destination for both locals and visitors alike.
We were in town on a girls trip when we saw a YouTube video recommending this place so we thought we might try it out. It was the best decision we made the entire weekend!! We tried to edamame with garlic and Parmesan and also the Kimchi fries. DELICIOUS! We also had drinks recommended by our server that were phenomenal, saketini and dragon punch. It was such a cute space and the service was excellent. If you’re in the area give it a try. You won’t regret it.
Teleasa M — Google review
The staff are friendly, service was great. The lady who served me was very bubbly and friendly. Love that so much. Atmosphere was ok, restaurant is a little crammed in a tight space. I have always been skeptical of modernized or fusion dishes of Asian food, I grew up eating my family’s and friend’s dishes which were made traditionally and good. If it ain’t broken don’t change it. I’ve had restaurants who have opened up my idea and taste buds on fusion foods and modernized Asian food. The dishes served to me at Arario didn’t quite make me more delighted to try more fusion Asian dishes. If anything it’s made me want to make my own bulgogi at home after eating what I ate. I had ordered bulgogi pasta and it tasted like water bland beef pasta. In theory I thought this would be perfect since I love pasta and bulgogi, the blend of the two just doesn’t work well together at all. The poke salad, was just what I should’ve suspected greens and poke. Dessert and cocktails were probably the BEST thing I ate there. I don’t think I’ve been to a restaurant where I said the dessert and cocktails were my favorite. Fusion has been used a sloppy word in culinary and has been used to describe a chef who opens a restaurant and hasn’t mastered culinary skills in both. I didn’t like the Korean or American aspect of any dish served to me today.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday today and had such a wonderful experience! The server was friendly and quick, the food was delicious, and the place was spotless. They even sang a birthday song for my husband, which made the day extra special. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We came here because of the good reviews even though I'm generally not a fan of Asian fusion (grew up in and travel extensively to Asia), and I was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the beef bulgogi fusion and the classic hot pot beef bulgogi, and I really liked both. The fusion was very well done -- it wasn't trying to taste like the original version, but added a good, complimentary twist to it. The hot pot bowl was also really nice, comforting, and authentic. We'll definitely come back to try the other dishes next time. The only thing that could be improved was the service - we must've asked for our drinks (sodas) 3 times, and utensils the same - the server seemed very frazzled and absent minded despite the place being pretty empty at the time we went.

Our experience at Arario was great! I'm glad that we made a reservation for Friday night because the restaurant was very full. We got seated right away, which was nice. Parking is an issue in the area because you have to find street parking so make sure to get there with enough time to make your reservation. The server was nice and friendly. The ambiance is chic casual so whether you are dressed for a night out or in hiking clothes (like we were), you won't be out of place. We ordered a Sapporo and a German Reisling for drinks. They have cocktails but I thought they were a tiny bit overpriced for cocktails. For food, we ordered the fried mackerel as an appetizer and the Ikaika bowl and the traditional beef bulgogi. The food came out pretty quickly and the portions are big. The mackerel was different and interesting. It was fried but the meat was still soft. There were small bones but easy to eat. I liked the crunch skin but my husband thought it was bitter. At times, it got tough after chewing a bit, so I'd say it wasn't perfect. The dressing that came with it was soy based and added a layer of sweetness. If you're in the mood to try something different, I'd give this a go. The Ikaika bowl was our favorite. They say it their version of a loco moco. It was very very good! The beef patty was medium well and came with a fried egg (sunny side up), black bean gravy, crunchy veggies, pita chips on a bed of rice. I should've asked for the egg to be scrambled because I hate runny yolk. But despite that, this dish was yummy. I think it needed a little more seasoning (salt) than it had. Once mixed, the gravy, the veggies, the chips and the meat really added texture to the rice. Since the portion was huge, we ended making a brunch out of the leftovers the next day. The traditional bulgogi was decent. They gave the rice separately. The beef itself was good but the rest of the dish needed a wow factor for seasoning. The portion was also quite big and we ended up adding this to our brunch the next day with the ikaika. The table accompaniments - Mac and cheese, sweet black beans, pickled cucumbers, kimchi were very Americanized. The kimchi was not as zingy as we would like. I hated that the black beans were sweet, because a savory flavor would've added a new taste texture to our food overall. I think for the portions, the prices are ok, but this restaurant is a little on the pricier side. It is worth a try for sure!

There’s no words to describe the food and service but to give 💯 the food is amazing delicious and I can visualize as if I was in Korea. The seasoning is just right and I just love everything about the flavors. Pair it with a refreshing ice drink while sitting on the patio and vibing is a plus. Nestled in Reno, Nevada, Egg Roll King is a hidden gem for those craving Chinese cuisine. This cozy spot offers an array of dishes including seafood and hearty soups. Diners rave about the generous portions, especially the sweet and sour chicken served with chow mein noodles and fried rice—perfect for sharing or satisfying a big appetite! While some found the sauce to be on the bland side, others were delighted by the crispy fried wontons that added a delightful crunch to their meal.
Fresh, hot and delicious food was delivered via DoorDash and it was amazing. My family and I are going to make this a go to place for Chinese food! Pricing was very reasonable and portions were plenty.

Rant: I don’t mind if food service has to raise prices or if the owners are not able to communicate in English necessarily but, when I go to Egg roll King and the price goes up a dollar a menu item the go back two weeks later and the serving container is small and they give a 2 oz serving cup (not full) with a side of 3 egg rolls I am very disappointed. At least if the price goes up on the order board I can make a decision before I order but to get home with a child size portion for $10 plus $4.50 for egg rolls and a 2oz sauce obtainer with an unsecured lid I’m pretty disappointed. I’m not sure how I’ll communicate this to the owners but maybe the picture will let them see it through the eyes of the patron. What do you think of an adult order in a dish not much bigger than a medium size female hand? Dec. 6, 2024

I order sweet and sour chicken with chow mein noodles and fried rice. The Portion was more than I could eat! 🥢 the sweet and sour chicken had lots of of chicken in it. The sweet and sour sauce was bland to my taste. 🙄 and the fried wonton was huge! They were delicious and crunchy which I liked😁

Food is average. TONS of sodium. Customer service is horrible. I ordered for 6 people. I ASKED for “4 of the Chili Oil Sauce” and he gave me (1). I asked for more because there are 6 or more eating. He gave me side dirty look and gave me ONLY 1 more after asking for 4. Stingy place. Can’t give 2 more little chilis sauce??? They re joke 🤡. Horrible customer service.

Food was horrible. Waste of money. Beef broccoli...don't know what kind of meat wasn't beef. Pork fried rice just rice a couple peas and carrots no flavor. They burnt my spring rolls and still gave them to me. If I could go lower than 1, it would have been negative 5!!!

Unfortunately this place has completely gone down hill over the last 6 months. Tried it one more time tonight and the taste had me feeling like I was going to get sick. Will not eat here anymore

Food was amazing, service was great, prices were very reasonable for seafood. I have no idea why the reviews aren’t great, we’ve lived here for years and had never tried it because of the reviews. So glad we finally came in, we will definitely be back.

It was my first time here and it was an interesting experience because it’s one of those things once you get started you’re committed there’s no stopping in the middle. I had crab clam and shrimp juice dripping off my beard and I was a total mess until the last bite. Fortunately, their sinks close by so you can quickly wash up. It actually was really good for my anxiety because it made me focus on what I was doing. Food was great service was great. I will definitely be back and I recommend it to anybody that likes crab shrimp and Cajun.

Finally decided to try Mr Crab after being a bit scared to try it out. We usually drive out to Sacramento or make our own but I can honestly say it was delicious! And the combos are a game changer ! Got the combo #2 snow crab, mussels, shrimp with added potatoes sausage and corn. Had a side of Parmesan fries and everything was amazing! & Cooked to perfection I would highly recommend. Will be going back and taking more family! Worth the $ for sure. The service was also nice no complaints there.

Very overpriced and I was charged gratuity and not notified. The weight of the food was inaccurate. They claimed to serve 1/2 lb of shrimp but was only served 4 shrimp. The service was very slow. Disappointing experience.

The food and service was absolutely phenomenal! It was by far the best crab and seafood around! It’s a bit pricey but absolutely worth every penny spent! We left happy and full! Portions were large and super satisfying! It’s absolutely the perfect Cajun boil style Reno needed! Absolutely hands down recommend for the best sea food around!

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ordered a huge bag of seafood boil with jalapenos Cajun sauce (medium), fried calamari, and fried chicken wings. The sauce was not spicy at all - I personally prefer it to have more Cajun flavor and seasonings. We really like the Spanish squid and Black Tiger shrimp as well as mussels. The wing is crispy and the calamari is good too. Shrimp is around $14 per pound and Spanish squid is around $49 per pound so it's definitely not on the cheaper side. The service is friendly but can be more attentive. The restaurant was very empty on weekday evening so no reservations required.

Food and taste was absolutely phenomenal! But might just settle for take out next time to avoid the food service. Went on a Saturday night, restaurant only had a few tables and the wait staff was no where to be found for more almost 10 minutes. Had to get up several times from the table to ask the host to get our server. We had to flag down someone anytime we needed something since the young kids running the place didn't have any concern to watch over their tables. Hosts were on their phone and chit-chatting with each other, while servers were either too busy funly messing around with each other and talking about their 'going out plans', or hiding out in the back even after we had mentioned how hungry we were after his first brief visit to the table. Staff treated us nicely, but was extremely frustrating having to constantly flag down someone for attention to get anything ordered. Overall, the entire Saturday night staff was too young and childish to know how to provide efficient and proper service etiquette. Hesitant to go back and deal with the same staff when we're spending Over $100 on dinner..

La Condesa Eatery, ranked #45 on Yelp's Top 100 restaurants in 2023, is the brainchild of Chef and Owner Sergio Romero. This restaurant offers a modern take on Mexican cuisine with an international twist. The menu features a blend of traditional and contemporary dishes that showcase the chef's personal cooking style. Guests can expect a delightful dining experience with flavorful food and top-notch drinks in a vibrant ambiance.
Apparently they’ve been open for two years, who knew🤷🏼‍♀️ Both the indoor eating area and the patio are very inviting. I love their take on food- it’s kinda “Mexican inspired” with several unique and creative dishes- I recommend the octopus. I gave it five stars because I couldn’t justify giving it four, but there is a tiny space for improvement. The fries tasted like tortilla chips- probably because of using the same fryer- understandable but it made for an odd experience. Our server, Elijah, was fantastic.

Hospitality 101 needed. This place is amazing, the food - amazing - however the service left us wanting more. We were greeted by the hostess who gave us a “meh” look and seated us. After waiting for a while - no eye contact, water to our table - we got up and went to the bar. We were in a bit of a rush due to a concert we were heading to however the wait was still long. While heading to the bar, our server/manager greeted us “I was just on my way to you”. We acknowledged her and went ahead to the bar expressing we were in a bit of a rush and will return again for a better experience. Our server/manager expressed that she was also the manager and has other priorities. Unfortunate response. Once at the bar the service was stellar and food was prompt! Amazing food, amazing drinks! Try the ceviche and octopus and tamarindo mezcal. We will come back again and will look for a better experience as the place is amazing. Staff on the hosting and serving side - do better. Coming from hospitality, I know a smile and a simple eye contact with a lip reading of “someone will be with you” does wonders. To your server/manager- Appreciate you reading this and I hope you take it to heart and this motivates you to do better vs bitterness and disarray.

We recently ate here and had a good experience. We got the octopus as an app which I love all seafood but this was just chewy bland and flavorless. Entrees were grilled short rib fried rice which I thought was great. Tasty and a variety of flavors. I’m not typically a fan of pork belly but it was well seasoned and mixed with the peppers, onions and rice. Overall it was a great meal. My GF got gnocchi al cilantro and she sadly didn’t finish her meal. It was very greasy and seemed to have too much added oil so she was not particularly a fan of it and would not order it again. Presentation for all the food was terrific. We got an old fashioned also and it was 10/10 would order again. Overall the experience was good. Our server was friendly dog and responsive and we were able to sit where we wanted to away from the sunlight. Very expensive considering. We were out the door for 120.00

Food was pretty good. The wings were really good. The fish and shrimp tacos needed salt tasted very bland even with the creamy salsa they gave. The michelada was really good. The Tostada ceviches good be a meal not an appetizer, because it's one whole and not very sharable. Pasta was really good.

From eclectic decorum to mouth watering dishes, La Condesa Eatery delivered on all point! Ice cold draft beer was on my radar this evening, and everyone from the bartenders, wait staff , and the chef himself were all on point as my crew and I dined. With plenty of outdoor seating, we opted to dine indoors where the gorgeous art hanging on the walls made for and incredibly inviting experience. This evening, we chose to try a few appetizers with our drinks, leaving plenty of room for dessert. Stop by La Condesa Eatery and support this wonderful locally owned establishment. 🤘

Tacos Jalisco Mariscos & Cantina is a great spot to visit, especially on Thursday and Sunday afternoons when it's more relaxed and kids can play without any issues. The food is described as amazing, with delicious enchiladas, chimichangas, tostadas, queso fundido, and bacon-wrapped shrimp. The drinks are also highly recommended, particularly the Micheladas and horchata.
Every time we fly into Reno on our way to Lake Tahoe, Tacos Jalisco is our first stop, and it never disappoints! This place serves the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had. The flavors are incredible, the ingredients are fresh, and every dish feels like a true taste of Mexico. The tacos are always spot-on, and the salsas add the perfect kick. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is friendly and quick. Tacos Jalisco has become a must-visit tradition for us—highly recommend!

Just went in to place a To Go order and the people acted like it was too much to help. Three ladies at the register were short with their answers as if it was a bother. One lady who gave us our order was at least nice. Go next door to the tamale place; she was friendly and sweet. Paid for my tacos, but there are way more Mexican restaurants with better atmosphere and service. Two times in one- first and last.

Beans salty as the ocean , hard shell tacos were cold like out of the refrigerator, portions are super small !! No shredded beef for tacos only carne adada . I’d give them zero stars if it were possible. I’m 46 years old and this is possibly the worst Mexican restaurant that I have ever eaten at in my life . They make Taco Bell seem like a 5 star restaurant compared to their food .

No wait and insanely good food. You know when you walk into a mexican restaurant in the middle of the day and its packed with Mexicans that it’s REALLY good food.

I had the worst service at this place. They dropped off my greasy tacos after 45 minutes. My ceviche tostada was good but no napkins or utensils. I had to get some from the bartender because the server was nowhere to be found. I went to the restroom, no soap. Asked for my check and waited another 20 minutes. Definitely first and last time here.

O'A Chinese Food is a highly recommended Chinese restaurant in Reno, known for its delicious and diverse menu. Customers have praised the restaurant for its great-tasting food, generous portions, and efficient service. Despite the limitations of takeout due to the pandemic, patrons have enjoyed a variety of dishes such as shrimp fried rice, vegetable delight with shrimp, wor wonton soup, sweet and sour pork, and veggie chow mein.
The food is absolutely delicious, plenty on the menu to choose from. Definitely check out this restaurant. Ask for Simon and tell him Corrina, from Georgia sent you.

I will eat anything, but this was the worst meal I’ve ever eaten. The Kung Pao Shrimp was FULL of celery, and totally tasteless. The egg roll had no filling, the fried rice was okay. The most disgusting part was the Hot & Sour soup, which was basically vinegar and black pepper soup, it was inedible. I ate the 4 pieces of shrimp, a little of the fried rice and threw the soup away. I called them to give them opportunity to refund me and let them know how bad it was, they didn’t offer anything, hence the review. I will eat food even if it’s bad, this was a first for me to throw away a whole meal.

Nestled on South Virginia Street, Wang's Table is a hidden gem that might just fly under your radar unless you're specifically seeking out a delightful dining experience. This charming Chinese restaurant specializes in seafood and noodles, offering an array of mouthwatering dishes that are sure to please any palate. The crab roll appetizers are particularly noteworthy, hailed as some of the best around.
We love to eat here! Perfect for the whole family and they have the best fried rice around! This time we particularly enjoyed the roasted duck, so soft practically falling off the bone :) Great little spot, surprisingly not too busy inside whenever we visit but could be the odd hours. Super accessible being apart of midtown, so happy they’re so close by!

Stopped in to try the place. For take out it's on the pricey side especially for one person. Since it was take out, didn't notice issue until I got back home. Ordered shrimp fried rice, sweet n sour pork, and Mongolian beef. The rice is oily and not really fried. On top of that, not a lot of shrimp. The shrimp is a little rubbery. The Mongolian beef was mostly onions and peppers. The amount of oil was insane, the entire dish was swimming in oil. Swee n sour pork had a good amount of pork. Fried rice no flavor and oily. The Mongolian beef, lots of flavor, awash in oil. The sweet n sour pork sauce has good flavor, but pork is bland and kills the the flavor of the sauce. I think there is better options in the Midtown area, especially for the price of over $50 for three items. Will not be back anytime soon.

Excellent service and food. The wonton soup was delicious and the portion sizes were large. Highly recommend the scallion pancakes. I also ordered orange chicken which was more savory than tangy and sweet. Bubble tea Taro was excellent amd it’s caffeine free.

I've come here several times and have had the general chicken along with the sweet-and-sour shrimp. The food tastes great, the service is awesome and the atmosphere is clean and quiet. I would recommend it to anybody looking for Chinese food in the downtown Reno area.
Roma — Google review
I will start with the good part, since it's short. The egg drop soup was good. A light broth with egg, carrots and celery. The first server was nice. I didn't get his name ( no tag) but he was the tall and thin gentleman. The other server who was short and stubby was one of the rudest and just nastiest person I have encountered in Reno. The General Tso chicken was too sweet and to much vinegar. The pork fried rice was bland and tasted old. Terrible Chinese food at least I think it was? I asked the second server which area/province the food and his response was to go look it up on Google and that our Language is the worst in the world. I was very polite and just left. I try to respect other cultures and appreciate what I have. However if you don't like it where you are then change it. I hope that others read this post and don't patronize businesses that don't appreciate their customers.
Xander H — Google review
Tastes pretty good to me. Mushu Pork is well cooked and seasoned perfectly. Singapore Fried Rice Noodles is a bit too dry and salty. Roasted duck is good. The skin is crispy and I know it's not easy to make. Original Milk Tea with Boba is good, not too sweet, and I like the tea base.
Bubble T — Google review
Wang's table Chinese restaurant is a diamond on the rough. It sits on South Virginia Street and you wouldn't notice it unless you were looking for a restaurant. The crab roll appetizers were to die for best I've ever tasted. I've eatin that a lot of different Chinese restaurants. The main course was sweet and sour pork with fried rice and chow mein which were all the best I've ever tasted. My wife on the other hand is very picky and she had the curry one special and said it was the best she's ever tasted due to the fact that nobody knows how to use the curry properly in the food she said. If you're looking for a great place with good prices and exquisite tasting food, this is the place to go for Chinese food. I recommend this place highly and I And very critical about my food and how it is cooked and how it tastes. The food here is for better than any Chinese restaurant I have eaten at in washoe county.

Ramsay's Kitchen Reno at The ROW, located in downtown Reno, offers a diverse selection of cuisine from American and Italian to Mexican and Chinese. Guests can enjoy signature dishes like Beef Wellington and Caesar Salad prepared with soft-boiled egg and prosciutto. The restaurant provides excellent service, with attentive staff members such as Lisa Martinez and P.J., ensuring a memorable dining experience. Visitors also praise the delicious food, particularly highlighting the Beef Wellington as one of the best they've ever had.
Gordon Ramsay’s new kitchen in Reno is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece—a dazzling addition to the city’s dining scene that has firmly raised the bar for excellence. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you’re greeted by a sophisticated, yet warm and inviting atmosphere that manages to strike the perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy comfort. The service is, in a word, impeccable. Every member of the staff is not only attentive but genuinely passionate about creating an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we were seated, our server exuded warmth and professionalism, offering detailed explanations of the menu and thoughtful recommendations tailored to our preferences. Water glasses were never left half-empty, and plates were cleared with the kind of precision you’d expect in a Michelin-starred establishment. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—the food. Ramsay’s Beef Wellington is everything you’d hope for and more. It’s the quintessential dish that epitomizes his mastery in balancing flavors and textures. The flaky puff pastry is golden perfection, encasing a succulent piece of beef tenderloin that practically melts in your mouth. Paired with a rich red wine, this dish is, quite simply, divine. The pan-seared scallops were another standout. Cooked to perfection, each scallop boasted a caramelized crust that gave way to a buttery, tender interior. It’s a dish that’s as refined as it is satisfying, showcasing the kind of finesse that turns simple ingredients into works of art. But the menu doesn’t stop there. From the perfectly executed appetizers to the decadent desserts, every course is a testament to Ramsay’s commitment to quality. The sticky toffee pudding is a must-try—a moist, flavorful cake topped with a luscious toffee sauce and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that ties it all together. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, offering something to please every palate. Our server guided us to an excellent pairing for both the Wellington and scallops, further enhancing the meal. The ambiance only adds to the experience. Soft lighting, tasteful décor, and the lively hum of diners enjoying themselves create a setting that feels special without being pretentious. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or just looking to indulge, this restaurant makes every visit feel like an occasion. In every respect—food, service, and atmosphere—Gordon Ramsay’s new Reno kitchen is an absolute triumph. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience that leaves you marveling at the artistry behind every detail. If you’re in Reno, this is a dining destination you simply cannot miss. And trust me: do yourself a favor and order the Beef Wellington and scallops. You’ll thank me later.

I've always wanted to experience a Chef Ramsay restaurant and this completely lived up to my expectations. First off being able to get in a party of 5 without a reservation ( even though it was a Tuesday), was insane. The restaurant is open, and right on the main walkway of the row, but once seated felt intimate, and I quickly forgot we were in a casino. The decor is simple and modern with minimal lighting giving that steakhouse vibe. The service was great. Our server was the perfect mix of there and not, if you catch my meaning. They have special cocktails of course but I opted for the tableside old fashioned cart. Was definitely the best I've ever had. They also have a solid wine list. The food was outstanding, the exception being my dad's butter poached lobster. It tasted like it was frozen which I would doubt as the oysters were got were super fresh. Also for being poached in butter was completely flavorless. The couscous it came on was great, but didn't pair well with the lobster. That said, everything else was fabulous! I had to try the Wellington and it's easy to see why it's one of the Chef's signature dishes. We tried multiple apps and desserts as well and they were all great. The parker rolls are a must! A very good dining experience I'd recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen in the Row for a special evening with my family, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked through the door, the ambiance, lighting, and music created the perfect setting for a truly memorable experience. Our server, along with their assistant, were impeccable—extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and enthusiastic in guiding us through the menu and wine pairings. Their thoughtful recommendations made the evening feel tailored and elevated. Now, the food—absolutely amazing. We started with the Wagyu Beef Tartare, which was a perfect bite of flavor, followed by the irresistibly soft Parker House rolls. The Crab Cake was packed with fresh, bold flavors, and the Beef Wellington was, as expected, a showstopper—cooked to absolute perfection with rich, savory layers that delighted every bite. We tried a few other dishes as well, and each one was more impressive than the last. Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen offers an unforgettable dining experience that perfectly balances elegance with comfort, all while serving some of the finest food I’ve ever had. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a great meal, I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in Reno, this is an absolute must-try!

I was excited to see this added to the row. I made reservations on open table, although probably wasn't necessary for a Tuesday. I opted for the early dinner which gets you the Filet Mignon, Cesar Salad, and sticky toffee pudding all for $60. Considering that's the price of just the filet after 5:30 I felt like it was an excellent deal. Everything was amazing, the staff was super great, beautiful restaurant. I did not leave hungry, and that Filet was one of the best I've had.

The service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful. The food was good. I personally had the lobster couscous and I was not happy with the lobster though I did not complain. It’s not what I expected. I visited the day before and asked how big the lobster was and the day of being there Which was 5/21/2025. The lobster was supposed to be poached and butter. It tasted like it was on a grill. You should also add butter and lemon for your lobster without requesting it. I don’t think I’ll go back to the restaurant. I’d rather go next-door and have his fish and chips for as much as I paid Almost $400. I wouldn’t do it again. Brandon in the server was amazing and attentive. I would only recommend coming here if you’re going out on a day if you want to get a little fancy, other than that, I’d rather stick to my regular old steakhouses. The flavor just wasn’t amazing. The steak was good. So I personally feel like I paid for the Gordon Ramsay name and a presentation that was it. It is nice that Reno’s getting something better but I won’t be back.
Michelle M — Google review
I ordered the beef wellington and the beef was mealy , the puff pastry soggy and Luke warm. My husband had the Sunday roast and it was more fat than meat and so salty he couldn't finish it. I expect better from a restaurant with Gordon Ramsey's name on it.
