The 30 best places for steak in Reno

This evening my table had a phenomenal four course meal. Presentation was spectacular. Timing of serving different courses was on point. Exceptional service by our waiter Forest, who went above and beyond to see we had a pleasant evening. He deserves a raise! Best service we had in a while. You could sincerely tell that he has passion and pride in his work. We especially appreciated the chef coming out to our table to spend a brief moment asking our thoughts of the meal. Fully pleased with our experience. Only one small recommendation was the TV just to the side of our table with the sports game on , it was a small distraction from the rest of the lovely dining atmosphere.

All around a really good dining experience. I walked in with jeans, t-shirt, and tennis shoes and felt under dressed. But, the staff was fantastic and very helpful. They waited on me very well and kept the drinks filled. In the restaurant row of the Grand Sierra Resort, it’s worth the trip into this casino to eat here. The aesthetic of the place is calm and a good place to relax, eat with a friend/loved one, or even a classy business meet up. They have a great selection of food. I chose the 21-day aged ribeye. Delicious and perfectly cooked. The creamy Yukon mashed potatoes were also amazing and complimented the steak every well. I would definitely come back and eat here again.

We had a fantastic birthday dinner celebration at Charlie Palmer Steak! The cocktail list was impressive, especially the Poire d'Or, which I absolutely loved, and the service was top-notch. The ambiance is elegant, and every member of the staff was professional and attentive. Our server Landon was super fun and felt like the perfect fit for the vibe here. We loved his service and he treated us so well! We started with the classic Caesar salad, followed by the New York strip with peppercorn sauce, a half lobster tail, and a side of mashed potatoes. Everything was perfect and I loved the lobster tail. For dessert, we enjoyed a flawless creme brulee, and to top it off, they brought out a complimentary pineapple cake with birthday candles. Like, so thoughtful. The beer list was also very European and well-curated. My fiancee had a German beer. I'd highly recommend Charlie Palmer for a fun and memorable night out!

Amazing food and customer service! Our waiter was super friendly and on top of it. We were being checked on constantly making sure we had the best experience possible. Definitely recommend! Our waiter was Forest, he was awesome!

Had a really nice mezcal and chartreuse cocktail. The steak was perfect, as was the fois gras. Lobster M n C to comfort the pallet. Dessert was ok, can’t remember what it was but pic provided. I would have preferred the cheesecake or something with chocolate

Real talk- Been comming to this place for over a decade for an annual convention, And this year it's the best it's been. The new Chef, Charlie, is completely nailing it. the bone-in kansas city came with a beautiful hwad of roasted garlic and two cherry tomatos. The caprese salad had an absoltutely amazing pesto sauce that punched with basil flavor. the Chimichurri saice was tart and herbal and had fantastic spice profiles- wow. Erwyn, our waiter, was professional and friendly, and very merciful- he was always attentive to whether we had everything we needed and handled a complex order. Didn't even ridicule me for wearing not very classy clothing into his classy establishment- I felt right at home!

We had a great time at this location. Atmosphere was not as loud as we thought, but I will say the restaurant is a bit outdated. The food, however, was spot on and extremely delicious. Our server was very attentive and we really appreciated his knowledge of the menu. We will return thank you.

I had dinner here for the first time last night and it was so delicious. I ordered the special Halibut with a maple glazed, Steak with mushroom sauce, Rice and veggies with a chocolate mousse for dessert. Lisandra and Tony provided amazing service making sure we had everything we needed too.

Fantastic experience!! Delicious food, professional servers, all the amenities. This restaurant is impressive from beginning to end. Highly recommended!! The fillet was cooked perfectly, the au gratin potatoes worth every calorie. Everyone at the table loved their meal. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a Tomahawk ribeye and it was absolutely delicious especially with the garlic bernaise sauce. And the servers were wonderful. As someone who has celiac disease, the fact they made homemade gluten free bread for me was beyond any expectations we had.

Absolutely incredible dining experience! The peppercorn-crusted New York steak was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The peppercorn crust added the perfect balance of spice and texture, making every bite memorable. The wine selection was outstanding, offering a wide range of choices that paired beautifully with the meal. The manager was exceptionally helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and that we found the ideal wine pairing. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere — highly recommend!

Just ok. My wife and I used to frequent 5 star Restaurants in Scottsdale, Arizona frequently… we were hoping for similar experience, but not even close. The Wagyu Filet wasn’t any more special that a Filet at any other local Steakhouse. It was the Australian cut. Our stay here was a month ago, and none of the other food was memorable. The drink we ordered was delicious. But only good for a few swallows and an empty glass of ice. We loved the Casino, but learned a valuable lesson and will eat at local restraints elsewhere when we visit.

Omg!! This place was exactly what I needed when I needed it. After a 2 year deployment I missed a delicious old fashioned. If you know anything about old fashioned you know it can be hard to find someone who makes them well. Mo made mine and it did not disappoint. Thank you for making my first drink post deployment an excellent one. Lisandra and Eric were my servers and they were so kind and attentive. They didn't judge my attire or unkempt appearance at all...simply served me with smiles and kindness. I really appreciate you guys! I will most definitely be back. Cheers!

I’ll start by saying that the service was great! Jose was an awesome server and bartender. He made sure we were well taken care of and he was able to seat us at the bar when they were busy. Thank you! I was a little unhappy with the halibut plate.. I thought the flavors would’ve meshed together but they didn’t. Oh well lesson learned. I will try another plate next time! :) but the other plates we got were great! Kung pao cauliflower was delicious and I recommend it!

We had an amazing experience at this place! The service is outstanding, and the portion sizes are generous—especially for the price. The steak was absolutely delicious, definitely one of the best we've had in town! We visited for the second time, and it was just as incredible as the first. The staff continues to impress, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The restaurant is also impeccably clean, which really adds to the overall experience. We will definitely be back for more steak and fish—it’s become our go-to spot for a great meal!

I always enjoy coming to this amazing steakhouse because Jose is a great guy who takes excellent care of me and my friend every time we come. They do a fantastic job with the Prime Rib, and the Caesar salad with artichoke fish is delicious. All the staff are very friendly.

Got recommended this place by someone, and we always walk past it. I came to try it out, and it was amazing. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Portions were great, prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend it. Only wish it was a little more secluded from the main gambling hall.

Dinner was just okay. It will be a “one and done” for my husband and I. I had the Chicken Picatta, which was ok. Chicken was overcooked and tough, but the mashed potatoes and veggies were pretty good. My husband had the Pasta Del Mar, which was definitely more pasta than Del Mar. The bread that was brought to the table was just sad. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.

Food is always great here. Perhaps they were understaffed this time, but it took 10 minutes to get our drink order in and then over 15 minutes later to hear the specials and for our order to get taken. The mahi was so delicious and with the wait.

The Bonanza casino is very smoky like all Casinos are when you walk into them but there is a side door that goes directly Toward the restaurant if you choose. The menu was delightful and the special beef is a bit pricey but less than a lot of the steakhouses. Everything we had to eat was delicious, and Leo, our waiter, was so cordial and very friendly we enjoyed our visit immensely.

It's really hard to get Handicapped parking here due to non handicapped people using someone placard and I found out why. I had dinner and lunch twice and they were so good. Service people are great and maybe next time, I'll try the slots. I haven't tried the Steakhouse yet but am very determined to see how this goes. They even have a Banana Split to try out but it may require not eating dinner before from what I'm told.

Checked in this afternoon; pretty impressed so far. Right off of freeway, helpful and courteous staff, great room at 1/2 the price of signature properties. Decent size casino, won some $/bets. Bathroom is good size, not cramped. Not much counter area but ironing board placed outside bathroom door works fine. Large roomy shower with great water pressure and hot water immediately; multi stream adjustable shower head. Room is very large, mini fridge also. We asked for a microwave in the room at check in and it was there when we opened the room door. One of the nicest budget hotels I've stayed at, will definitely try to stay here during subsequent visits to the Reno area

I have always loved staying here!!! Super awesome staff! The rooms are super clean, the beds and pillows are comfy, the place is safe! And you get an amazing view of the Marina!! The housekeeping are the hardest friendliest workers of any motel/hotel I have stayed in 38 states!! If I could move in permanently I would!! Read my other reviews and you will see I am not just saying it!! Love this place!!! Excellent pricing even on busy in season weekends!! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in this City!! 💜🩷🤗

I loved how simple the hotel was and so clean! The separation of the casino to another building next door was amazing. You didn't have to smell cigarettes or stale smoke if you didn't want to while moving about. The most extreme shower pressure which was awesome! It was quiet and easy to get to as well!

I recently stayed here for 2 nights in a double queen room. The room was fairly nice considering the age of the property. The bathroom was on the small side with very little counter space for toiletries, but the AC worked well. The casino is much smaller than the Peppermill (its sister property where we usually stay), but they did have a great variety of slot machines, which we enjoyed. We'll definitely come back. The only downside was that I emailed the hosts twice and never received a response, which was disappointing. Another negative was early wednesday morning they property landscaping company was out there blowing down the premises w a leaf blower that was very loud. All around the hotel and casino building. Would be nice if they did this later in day when guests arent trying to sleep.

We stayed here the first time because they're a pet friendly hotel. We come back every time we're staying in Reno because we've never had a bad experience. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and they provide food and water bowls (and a ball!) which is a really great extra service. The provide a larger mini fridge, but no microwave, which is the only reason I took off 1 ⭐. The staff in the restaurant, at the registration counter and on the casino floor have all been courteous, helpful and friendly. The location is easy access to the freeway and conveniently close to Roberto's Taco Shop (an absolute mandatory stop for us) and there aren't crowds of homeless wandering the area. This is our default overnight stop in Reno.

Locals‘ casino with good room rates. Rooms are quiet, comfortable and super clean. Staff is exceptional. No table games at the casino but the slots are fun. Nice neighbourhood.

Went with a group of foodie friends. I love the table service! Steak Diane and banana foster were both excellent. Although a bit loud the food is very good. Wait staff was almost over attentive. Kept repeatedly trying to grab plates when not completed. But very courteous.

Best steakhouse in Reno. The service was absolutely amazing, the best service we’ve ever had. Food was timed perfectly and you get so much more for your money here. If you want to go out for a nice evening and impress your guests, this is the place to go. They give fresh hot towels at the beginning and end of service, a small little dish before your meal arrives, and gave us coffee cake in a to go bag before we left for the next morning.

It was my first time dining at Atlantis Steakhouse, but definitely not my last! I had 3 spectacular cuts of Wagyu steak on a bed of creamed spinach and carrots! The service was exceptional, as was the food quality! My compliments to the chef!

My girlfriend took me here for my birthday and everything was amazing. The staff were on top of it and attentive, food was absolutely spectacular, nothing but good words about this restaurant. Also, one last thing to add; This was my first time trying Sea Bass and they crushed it!!

Absolutely fantastic experience at the bar thanks to Melissa and Fernando. 10/10 on everything. However…. Thick cut steak fries are listed on the menu and i was served sidewinder potatoes… don’t get me wrong they were great…. But…. Not thick cut steak fries. May want to consider adjusting the language on the menu to match the correct potato? Looking forward to my next experience here. Highly recommend

Appetizers & service were pretty good but my wife & I split a cowboy ribeye that was definitely the worst steak we’ve ever had at a reputable steakhouse. Quality seemed really low as it was super tough even though it was properly cooked to medium rare. Pretty much inedible, we took a $155 steak home to give it to our dog. Others at the table didn’t have negative things to say about their meals maybe we just got a bad cut of meat.

We had a wonderful, relaxing experience at Atlantis. Most especially, the service was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Twice we grew our party, eventually coming to 15 - no problem, with another table pulled from who knows where and just as well and quickly and as comfortably appointed as our original settings. The atmosphere, food, cocktails and wine were great, but it was the service from Caitlin and Alex that set the night apart. Thank you, Atlantis!

This hotel is SUPER cool with lots to do and plenty to see! We came for BLFC and we had a suite with a connected double Queen. The rooms and views were GORGEOUS. My only complaints are that, the rooms need a much more thuro look over when cleaning. The Queen had left over food in the fridge from the guest before, random trash in the fake glued down vases, and in the suite there was a good amount of areas that had very thick dust caked up. I know time is limited for cleaning but this hotel may want to invest in bigger cleaning teams/more employees. The pools and hot tubs are awesome! they are massive and I didn't feel like I was over crowding was happening even with the amount of people there. My only other complaint is that everything inside the hotel is EXPENSIVE. You would save more money getting 5 pizzas delivered than you would buying it there. We got 1 pie for over $55. 1 PIE. The froyo place tho? Hands down best pricing. Bless that place.

Room was large and comfortable. Was there for 2 nights. Housekeeping missed providing more toilet paper and it too 2 hours to get it. That was a bit rough since I NEEEDED it. So much to do inside this resort. You could stay a week and probably still not do it all. Amazing space for a reasonable price. I would definitely stay again.

I like how welcoming and attentive An An was from the moment I sat down at the High Limit bar. She has an incredible personality that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time there. My drinks were made perfectly every time, and she remembered what I liked without me even asking. Her energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness really stand out. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it shows in how she treats every guest. An An made my night at GSR memorable, definitely the kind of bartender who deserves recognition for her top-notch service!

Honestly, just about every thing about this resort is good. They have a great location. It is not far from the airport. It’s easy to get to from the freeway. It is near many other attractions in Reno. They even have an outdoor golf driving range. In addition to that, there is so much to do inside the resort whether it’s at the pool, gambling, the kids play area, or just the restaurants and bars that are contained inside. They have many tables to play card games or electronic keynote and slot machines. The security was very friendly. The hotel staff was quite helpful and even nice enough that I considered a $15 room upgrade charge. I’m actually glad that I did because the rooms are quite nice in the Vista tower. I was told they were recently remodeled. Comfortable bed, room layout was fantastic, the views out of my window were fantastic, and everything was so clean. My only gripe is that they don’t have a fan in the bathroom. But, I would definitely stay here again. Good experience.

Maybe I just got unlucky, but honestly I didn't feel like this was all it was cracked up to be. I reserved a couple nights before and booked a 1 bed; when I checked in, they told me all they had were 2 beds (quite rudely I might add). All good, these things happen. When I went up to my room though, the room was unclean (there was literally bits of food and large crumbs on the floor). The thermostat was also broken so the whole night it felt like 60 degrees. This on its own wasn't enough to bother me (like I said, sometimes these things happen). What did irk me was when I asked about being moved to a room with working AC, the lady at the desk very rudely told me it was impossible and that it could only be fixed in the morning. Morning came and went, I returned to the hotel room to find that the AC was still broken and spoke to another person at the front desk. She was much more friendly and within the hour, it was fixed (she also said that she found no record of it in the system earlier and said that I could have requested to be moved to another room as they had a few others open that night). The next night was much better, but the morning after there was a problem with my showerhead - it's just wouldn't let out any water. Again, I'm sure that this won't happen to most people and might give this place another chance, but after my stay I couldn't in good faith leave a five star review. Especially when I left thinking I would have had a better experience at a Marriott or Hilton. On the bright side, the view was pretty nice! The room was also quite spacious and there was plenty of entertainment options on the ground floor. Parking is a beast though.

Steven Y & Isaac from security helped me to find a black bag with an expensive gift inside that I left at the front desk. The desk person said he turned it into security but security couldn’t locate it. I was feeling anxious and they did a good job to keep me calm. I was very impressed. They didn’t give up, they looked everywhere. They got someone to look at the tape. Long story short they found it and I was so happy. Their demeanor towards me was calming, and I have to admit I was stressed out. They were kind and were able to help me stay calm. I was impressed by both of them. Well done! Someone must of trained them or they just have excellent instincts!! My friend will be happy when she gets her 60th birthday gift that I almost lost. Thank you Steven Y & Isaac!!

Would give less than one star if I could. Site 167. Oct 23. We stayed one night at the Grand Sierra “Resort” RV park — which, as it turns out, was literally being demolished the next day — something no one mentioned when taking our payment. Check-in (after 5pm you need to go to the hotel front desk) was pure confusion: the front desk checked us in but didn’t give a key card, then passed us to security who had no idea what was going on. I went back to the desk, where they suddenly said we didn’t need a key… until we tried to use the showers and washrooms, which were all locked behind keycard access. When I spoke to another staff member, he admitted we were technically allowed to use the resort amenities — but they still refused to issue a key card since it was “the last night before closure.” Translation: we paid for amenities they knowingly refused to provide. Security tried to help, but even they said their hands were tied. We were told our only option was to call security every time we wanted to use a bathroom or shower. Completely ridiculous. We never got access to a single facility, and the next morning the RV office was closed with a “be back at 11:30” sign. Meanwhile, construction crews were already tearing the place apart — jackhammers, dust, and airport noise all night. Nothing about this resembled a “resort.” At best, this was gross mismanagement. At worst, it borders on false advertising, since the resort sold a stay with amenities that were clearly unavailable. Under Nevada’s deceptive trade practices laws (NRS 598.0915), that’s considered a misleading representation of services. Guests deserve transparency and basic honesty — not to pay full price for a demolition site. Do yourself a favor: stay literally anywhere else in Reno. ****UPDATE: circus circus has a great lot across from them. Go pay 60$ for a great room and just park your RV in the lot. Had a blast in the three attached casinos. Not sure why all the RV resources say grand Sierra is the place to be. I will be updating the RV sites with better recommendations and photos. Location location location (and amazing service)!!! The circus circus is also close to the river walk which was great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. I've downgraded the review to reflect how much better the circus circus location is. We didn't know as it was our first time in Reno.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. Very suprused to see roses on our table upon arrival. What a thoughtful touch. Our food was excellant. We both had rib eye with blue cheese. Our carmel taffey desert was delicious . The service was great. We will definately be back

The atmosphere and service were outstanding. The twice baked potato, French onion soup, and bread were outstanding. My mom's 16oz ribeye was just okay, and my prime rib was not so great. In terms of the steak and my prime rib it was not prime. When you go to a steakhouse you expect an outstanding steak. We did not get that. I gave a good tip because the service was outstanding. Fire the cook or whomever orders the meat. I'm not sure if it's the owners fault for ordering sub par meat, but you guys need to do something because the Tamarack Cafe serves steak and prime rib that are just as good as the steakhouse. For $175 for two people, I'm very disappointed. We will not return. I don't want to hear back from management because there is absolutely no way we are returning. And the dessert (strawberry shortcake and creme brule) tasted and looked like pig slop. Do not waste your money on this dive. The cooks, and whomever prepares the food give a bad name to this establishment and the servers who work their tails off get a bad wrap too.

We just went for the 1st time Friday. We loved everything about this place. The subtle lighting, lovely artwork, garden view. If you didn't know, they have a sunset special from 4:30 to 5:30 PM with discounted prices on a few great meals. Everything we had was delicious. Our server Taylor was amazing.

OMG I CAN'T STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS PLACE! I WENT HERE FOR MY 40TH BIRTHDAY WITH MY SISTER AND THE FOOD WAS OUTTA THIS WORLD! THE WAITER WAS SO NICE AND ALWAYS ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS WE HAD. I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK FOR THE LAMB LOLLYPOPS!

The environment is nice and our food server were great but the food was not really good. The lobster bisque was so salty and warm. My expectations were high but I was disappointed. So my company said the same, even the mashed potato were salty. The salmon was okay and the green beans were so hard to chew.

Very nice restaurant setting. Staff was accommodating, my husband and I decided to try them on a whim and they were able to seat us in like 15 minutes. Food was delicious and served in a timely fashion. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb. Also, the cornbread was spectacular. 4 out of 5 stars because the waiter forgot my French Onion Soup and some items on the dessert card was not available.

First time trying and I was worried after reading some reviews but I'm always a firm believer to make up your own mind. Heed warning from others but ultimately you should not let anyone's opinion sway yours. Service was definitely a 5 - Joseph server (not pictured), Jerry busser and Pierre Manager made extraordinary efforts to consistently check on our table and was quick to respond to any requests. We did experience a couple of concerns in regards to food which was quickly rectified- Mahalos Pierre ! Desserts were delicious ! I definitely recommend for you to be your own judge ... give them a try for yourself ! We will be back when in the area to try other dishes !

(This written review was accidentally deleted prior to posting). J Paul’s Steakhouse is currently my favorite downtown Reno Steakhouse! The entire staff is truly amazing! The food is prepared PERFECTLY and is presented promptly and with class. I had dinner at the bar with Shane, (bartender extraordinaire). The meal and the company were top notch. As a long time local (45 years) not only do I get 25% off but they treat me like family. If you dine there, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for your impecable service and cuisine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pam always takes great care of us. J Paul's has some of the best steaks in Reno. We love the swanky dining room. The restaurant is waaay easier to park and get into than any other casino steakhouse. 25% locals discount is the best in the city. We will be back!

Had a reservation for 6. We were seated in a private room, 4 bare wood paneled walls with 3 smaller tables put together, one of which was unstable. I believe once we were seated, we were forgotten. The service was terrible. Drinks took forever. The cocktails were served to all but one woman who had to ask several times for hers. Salads were served and not picked up until the entrees arrived which also took forever. One of the steaks was overcooked (in a steakhouse? ) & had to be sent back. Some dinners were barely warm. Crab legs were cold. (One dinner was taken off the tab.) I will never return & with all the options of great steakhouses in Reno, choose a different one.

We had dinner July 21st 2023 and it was fabulous. David was our server. David did such an amazing job at the food and drink pairing. The smoked old fashioned drink was incredible and my wine pairings were spot on. The beet salad and crab cakes were so good. I had the trio of steaks with a bernase sauce and my husband had the ribeye with a demi Glace and they were both incredible. Dessert was the chocolate cigar which was good and super fun and my husband loved the cheesecake. A big thank you to David for his knowledge and great attitude.

Beyond dissapointed. We walked up into the restaurant around 6:20 pm and we were told that we needed a reservation the next available time was at 7 pm for a party of 2. We took the reservation and went up to our room to wait. We came down at seven p m for our reservation, and there was long line. The group was a party of 6, four had reservations and the other 2 didn't. we waited while the restaurant accommodated the other two walk ins. There was another couple in front of us that was told that they had to wait and make a reservation as well, and they walked off upset, because they also heard that the restaurant accommodate the two walk ins ahead of them. We continue to wait, and when my husband confronted the waiter about why the walk-ins were seated before the reservations. She lied to us at first and then she tried to hurry up and say she will be right back to seat us. As she was walking away, we walked away and let her know ww were leaving. She tried to tell us to sit at the bar, but our reservations were not for the bar they were for a table. The restaurant lost 4 people to accommodate two.Hopefully it was worth the business.

Visited 7/15/23 and had an amazing experience. They were short staffed due to employees not coming to work so they did make us wait until our reservation time when we asked if we could get in earlier. Not a huge deal, we just hung out in the casino until our reservation time. Once seated at a table we noticed a booth free up and requested to move which was obliged without issue. We had the pleasure of the GM Scott as our server due to short staffing and he was ON IT! Everything from seating, to service to signing the check was outstanding. I started with an espresso martini (my first ever) and I am HOOKED! My husband ordered the wet aged ribeye, asparagus and mashed potatoes. I had the Bucatini. Hubby's food was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, which you can actually watch happen because there is a viewing window. I was on the fence about ordering the Chicken Milanese or the Bucatini and the GM suggested the Bucatini. The Bucatini was nothing short of perfection. We haven't stopped talking about it yet. I should also mention that food was on the table in what felt like 10 minutes from when we ordered. We were shocked at how fast it came out. For dessert (which we definitely did not need as we were already STUFFED) we ordered the cigar which was a little too sweet and rich for our liking but a cute novelty none the less. Overall we couldn't have been happier with this place. The whole experience was impeccable and we will definitely be back! Thank you Scott for everything!

Showed up a little early and was still able to be seated quickly (sat inside but there is an outdoor seating option). I didn't order any appetizers, just a main dish with water. I got the spicy shrimp pasta with garlic bread. It's pretty good but I thought it was on the mild side. But then again, I eat ghost peppers once in a while so I'm used to hot stuff. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Lovely experience at Wild River Grille. Service was wonderful, food was divine, cocktails were delicious! Cute place with outdoor and indoor seating. The location is on the river front, but you cannot see the river from the inside dinning, possible views from the outside patio. However, we walked along the Riverwalk after dining and that was lovely. Would definitely come back.

The food was amazing and worth the wait. My husband had the ribeye steak which was melt in mouth deliciousness. I had the house special halibut and that was flaky, moist, and fresh. Scallop appetizer was amazing and a shame there’s only 3. But they were a good medium size. A cute little restaurant to walk to in the heart of downtown next to the river.

Got seated right away for a party of 2. Food was good, I ordered the spicy shrimp pasta and my husband got the mahi-mahi. We also ordered the mussels as appetizer and some drinks. Overall, the the whole experience is good, atmosphere is chill. The outdoor sitting can get crowded and the space is kinda tight. I would suggest if you have a big group to call ahead and get a reservation.

I have seen this restaurant for years, but I've never tried it until now. Why? This place was delicious! Pictured is a White sangria and the bread pudding. Divine. We ordered the caprese for an appetizer (nut free pesto!) main dishes, the chicken piccata and braised short rib. Service was. Great, the vibes were there. I'd love to go back in warmer weather and sit on the patio!

She was very helpful and knowledgeable on their menu and recommended excellent dishes all the way down to dessert 🍰🎂🧁. Give them a try if you haven’t already. You won’t be disappointed and the outside atmosphere was so beautiful 😍.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a dinner with a large group in the private dining room at The Wild River Grill, situated on the RiverWalk in Downtown Reno. This contemporary restaurant, with its nature-inspired decor, full bar, and spacious riverside patio, is located in the historic Riverside Hotel building, right on the banks of the scenic Truckee River. While the restaurant has a unique ambiance, the culinary experience received varied feedback from our group of twenty, and the service, unfortunately, was somewhat inattentive, which was a bit disappointing.

Tried this restaurant for the first time and had a pretty solid experience overall. We ordered the Prime Rib and the Scallop & Lobster Paella, along with a side of Shoestring Fries. The Prime Rib was the clear highlight of the meal--absolutely delicious. The first bite was fabulous: tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. It's a dish I'd definitely return for. The Scallop & Lobster Paella, however, wasn't quite to my taste. The scallops were nicely done, but the lobster was a bit overcooked and dry, which took away from the dish. The Shoestring Fries were actually a nice surprise--crispy and fun to eat. I enjoyed those more than expected. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish.

Roxy came highly recommended by a bartender, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant features two host stands—one on the left for the sushi bar and one on the right for the steakhouse. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 7 p.m. and were seated promptly. Our server, Patrick, provided excellent service and made the evening enjoyable. We ordered oysters on the half shell, tuna tartare, and the CAB prime rib. The oysters and tuna were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, while the prime rib was unfortunately a bit dry and chewy. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere.

My waiter was J Clark. Had him a couple of times. Always really great server. Food is consistently good prepared perfectly. I highly recommend the onion soup. For appetizer starter. Not the average it's a blend of veal beef recipe. I love the fact that it's a full meal for your entree. I enjoy higher-end restaurants but I do not enjoy leaving a restaurant feeling like I need to go to another restaurant to get full. This restaurant is delicious The portions are correct and you will not leave hungry. There is enough staffing for The upscale feel there's no suffering this is a class act. It can accommodate large groups and is totally flexible with all age groups wonderful whiskey cart and glorious wine list it really covers most bases for all pallets.

Matthew was a wonderful attentive waiter. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was perfect ambiance. Had the French onion soup and lamb chops cooked perfectly. Highly recommend

We were there for an event with a set menu. The food was great and service was outstanding. Our appetizer was mushroom ravioli which was excellent. I asked for no cheese on mine because of a cheese allergy and when the server brought the Caesars salad that was the next course I was going to ask for no cheese and the server said she remembered and brought me one with no cheese. I was impressed. I ordered the filet mignon entree and it melted in my mouth and was cooked exactly as I wanted.

We absolutely love Roxy’s. Our server, Jeff and as so accommodating and very kind. We have had him before and were happy to see him again. We are always treated so kind by the staff and the food is amazing. Thank you all for making us feel so special.

Ruby River is a classic American restaurant. The dining room was large with decent decorations and service was excellent. The bar also looked good. WiFi was not available. There were many authentic American dishes in the menu. Their free bread was decent with butter. I ordered their signature 6oz sirloin steak. It was well-grilled with sizzling cream, but it tasted a little old at medium temperature. Mashed potatoes tasted good. The price was a little high. The food was not bad, but I was expecting more at this price.

Friendly service. I ordered the smoothered chicken with grilled asparagus. It was very good. The place has a lot of cowboy boots around. Full bar.

I come here whenever I stay at the Peppermill. I have never had a bad experience. Portions are generous, food tastes good and is ready quick, and prices are very reasonable. The fresh bread is great.

Our waitress Kaidynn was amazing. The atmosphere is nice, the food is amazing, and reasonably priced! Oh and the bread was absolutely to die for!

Went with a party of four for dinner before a show. The restaurant is a bit tired looking. The service was very good - attentive and caring. Fresh bread was brought to the table and was tasty. We had a couple of appetizers that were quite good. Alas the prime rib and steaks, while cooked to the right temperature, were disappointing. The prime rib was tough, and the seasoning and crust on the steaks was off. Their French onion soup was bland with too much stringy cheese. A bit of fine tuning in the kitchen and freshening up the interior could turn things around.

Looked at reviews before I went to this restaurant at 4.3 stars when we attended it there in previous comments is complaining about the restaurant I think all of those comments is were false I had no issues with this restaurant. I would refer family and friends to eat here Aidan our server was excellent. Next time I’m in Reno. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. I had the baby back ribs and they were and they were cooked perfectly. My wife had the 6 ounce sirloin it was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly everything food wise to say great in the ambience, and Atmosphere was great amazing.

Two Chicks was a perfect stop for brunch on me and my girlfriend’s road trip. The staff were quite friendly, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. They had some really unique food and beverage options that were really good. Definitely be sure to ask the server about some of their menu options that they’d recommend. If you want a hearty brunch in Reno, this spot is a great option.

Two Chicks is a fun place to stop and grab either breakfast or lunch in Reno. They have a good selection of food to choose from. However they are particular in what they offer and you simply just eat it their way, which is odd. It’s hard to get anything customized the way you want it. The staff was quite friendly and did a great job of waiting on my table. Be warned the DO NOT HAVE RANCH or FRY SAUCE here. Haha. There is outdoor seating in the warmer months.

This place was very busy when we arrived, but we were able to sit at the bar area, and we got right in. The food was good. The over-medium eggs were definitely a little on a runny side and the sweet potatoes home fries were really good, but there were about 40% onions in the potatoes. The service was really good. I would absolutely go back and order the home fries with no onions, if that is an option. We will definitely go back here on our next trip to Reno.

I did some research after waking up in the morning for a good breakfast spot nearby me and this place popped up, I told myself I have to give it a try and to see is it good or just hype. Upon arrival, there were a few people ahead of me, but that does not bother me since I am a very patient person. I then got seated and was greeted by their friendly staffs. They have a drink menu that consists of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Their main menu includes breakfast, skillets, omelettes, benedicts, sandwiches, salads, a kid’s menu and much more. I just went with the breakfast since I was craving for it. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where it made my visit a pleasant one. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent breakfast/brunch spot, if you are looking to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I will be back to tryout the other options they have to offer.

A great place for brunch in Reno. The best poutine I've ever had outside of Canada. There's a wait to get seated for brunch, but it's worth it and they have a bar outside for you to grab a drink while you wait. The chilaquiles are just ok though.

It was quite busy for a Sunday, and we waited about half an hour for a table. The restaurant is pretty small with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the veggie omelette and the sourdough pancakes combo (with eggs and bacon on the side). The veggie omelette was good but a bit bland and could’ve used some salt. The pancakes were tasty, but the bacon wasn’t very crispy, and the eggs were also bland both could’ve been cooked a little longer. The coffee is local, but it didn’t taste like coffee at all. It honestly seemed like maybe hot water was added into the pot instead of brewing a fresh one. The water also tasted off almost like thickened water I’m not sure why, but it definitely didn’t taste right. On the positive side, the service was absolutely fantastic. Our server kept checking in on us and refilling drinks, and the FOH staff were very kind when we entered and left. Overall, I’d give this place another try and might check out their 2nd location down the street.

We went last night for dinner and had such a great experience. Rafael was such a fun chef, and everything he made was really good. Our waitress, Brielle, was on top of things. Everyone at our table was really happy with the experience, and their food.

Food is decent, chefs are amazing. The atmosphere is great, and the cooks are talented. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. The manager lady is more worried about herself than the customer experience. Rather than fixing a discontented customer situation, she’d rather protect herself than be accommodating.

Thank you Fiona and Rafael! They both made our last night in Reno amazing. The food, hospitality, and over all experience would bring us back again on our next trip to Reno. Can’t thank them enough!

If you visit here for an event on a special day, I think you can have a good time. Depending on how much experienced chef is in charge of the table, the fun can be halved. In fact, Depanyaki food tastes so good, but all the ingredients are cooked with the same ingredients and sauce, so I don't enjoy it that much because it's easy to bite. I didn't get a strong impression because of chef who is not that much skilled chef .and the food is cooked with soy sauce with butter and garlic and salt & pepper from start to finish as I said. Considering this, please consider whether to visit or not.

Had a good time overall. The food was good and they accommodated my fish allergy well. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. With all the grills going it was pretty hot in there, was manageable but a little cooler inside would have made the experience even better. Not a fan of sweating while I'm eating. Would definitely return though.

Took my wife here for dinner for the first time since moving to Reno. My wife and I were regulars at out favorite Japanese Steakhouse back in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I have to say with all the buzz and the prices I thought it would be much better. The service was ok but not great and the Chef was very boring and not very interactive like I’m used to and felt like he was rushing to get done and get us out for the next group. The food is what I was disappointed in the most, very bland with not much flavor. The fried rice was just ok, not great and the vegetables were barely cooked, very raw like. There were 8 other people at the table and I saw a lot of food that didn’t get eaten. I felt the cucumber salad and the ice cream was the best part and the miso soup was horrible. Make your own opinion and give it a shot, but we definitely won’t be back.

Great ambiance and amazing service (best service I've had in a long time). Their food wasn't anything exciting. I got their Hef beer and salmon mango tacos, with an upgrade for sweet potato fries (which were so salty). The tacos needed more mangos and more toppings. Wished I ordered something different, oh well.

Good food and a nice selection of beer all served with a laid-back, casual vibe. Service was excellent, prices were very reasonable, and there was plenty of parking. The outdoor seating area has lots of traffic noise, but it didn't hamper our table conversation. We're from out -of-town and this was our favorite dining experience in Reno so far!

Local craft brew house offering a variety of craft beers and a good selection of food. The menue has some unique items along with the standard American fair. The burgers and pizzas are well made and loaded with flavor The atmosphere is typical brewery with lots of hustle and bustle. This is the only complaint as the service was slow to get good out. The staff was friendly and helpful and apologies for the slow food service.

Their beers are always the main reason to be here. The food is quite typical brew pub grub. I heard that a chef bought Great Basin, if thats true, then they really need to upgrade their food game. The nachos I had were a good value for 10 bucks, but honestly you can make ones at home that are on par with theirs.

Great food and beer, I really enjoy this location due to the selection of the menu. I like that they use local meat from park ranch and that they have a bigger selection of actual dinner entrees. We will definitely be back to this location.

Ordered fish and chips. Food was cold and overcooked in old grease. Barely any fish in the basket ; it was mainly breading that was chewy. Coleslaw was room temperature and not cold. Also ordered chicken wings, had heavy smoke seasoning on it! Food came out way too fast which tells me it’s all sitting in the kitchen ready to serve. Ate here years ago and decided to try again but won’t make that mistake again. Do not recommend; will never eat here again.

Molly was incredible!!! She gave us stellar service honestly we were watching her work and help every single table with incredible speed haha I got tired just watching. She was awesome we’ve been to multiple locations and she has been the most attentive server we’ve had by far. Cowboy burger and the French dip were incredible but the caramel old fashioned was definitely the highlight of the meal

Great food with generous portions. But my god, the peanut shells on the floor along with everything else makes for an extremely unappetizing experience, at least in my opinion. Everything else was still very clean. Server forgot what we ordered twice. Gave us rice instead of corn. Then when we let her know she took the rice back before coming back and giving it us again? Just strange. If it's the wrong item on expo it shouldn't be a big deal. It's like a small ramekin too. All that being said still a positive experience. Server was very attentive, constantly asking us if there was anything else we needed from her at this time. That was nice, but it sounded very scripted and corporate. Also didn't appreciate being assumed our party was from China when we were speaking native English...maybe next time don't discriminate and assume where someone is from.

The manager even stopped by our table to welcome us and surprised me with some goodies to take home! The food was phenomenal—everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, and of course, the famous rolls did not disappoint! We raved about them so much that Mariah generously packed some up for us, along with their delicious butter. I went with my daughter and grandson, and we all left happy and full. This was truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!

As soon as you sit down, you’re greeted with their iconic fresh-baked bread and cinnamon butter, a true highlight of the meal. Pro tip: don’t hesitate to ask for a box of bread to-go after your meal—it’s just as good at home. They also offer Early Dine specials Monday through Thursday before 5 p.m., which make for a solid value if you want to enjoy a hearty meal without overspending. For my main course, I tried the 6 oz Sirloin steak, one of the menu staples. Cooked medium, it was juicy and tender, and topping it with sautéed mushrooms and fried onions added an extra layer of flavor. The staff even split it into two dishes for easier sharing. Meals come with two sides, with choices like steak fries, Caesar or house salad, butter corn, and steamed vegetables. A good place to eat. Big portions for those who eat big. Update: We went again the following week for dinner because we had a pleasant experience before that even if the place was packed. This time, the experience was a little different. The place was still packed as usual but the usher who seated us when our name was called gave us only one set of silverware. Not sure if it was intentional or something else but he knew first hand that there are 2 of us and i am sure he's doing the job for quite a while now. I don't want to say it's a race issue but i will give another chance since this just happened once during our second visit. I did not let that experience ruin my meal. We just laughed it off. But i am hoping that usher should do better next time and make it more welcoming for everyone inspite of skin color. I will still visit the place.

Why 1 star? Portion size was a complete letdown. Otherwise, service was great. Food was good. First time here. Heard nothing but good things. Came to celebrate Mother's Day with my 2 sons. Service was good - the guy at the front asked if we wanted to"hibachi" or ? (sorry, forgot other choice), told him hibachi and he took us to the back with another group of diners (4 of them and 3 of us), and sat us together. I ordered the hibachi steak with calamari and my sons ordered the chicken with shrimp . The chef came over, did his shtick and was ok. Chef cooked the food starting with the fried rice, then the veggies, shrimp, calamari before finishing with the protein. When it came time to serve the appetizers, I got my calamari first while the Chef finished up the shrimp. Then ... he gave each of my sons 3, JUST THREE, shrimp each before proceeding to give larger portions of shrimp to the other group. At first I thought, maybe the other diners ordered just shrimp? BUT one of them had ordered chicken and got much more shrimp. Now, I am not one to make a big stink and ruin an experience UNLESS its life or death or that level. So I didn't say anything, but WHAT THE HECK?! The amount of calamari I got wasn't that much either, but I was the only one who ordered it so there wasn't anything to compare it to. Utterly disappointed. What was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day dinner at a new restaurant was marred by the unequal distribution of appetizers. We left feeling so let down. Oh well, next time we'll drive to IIji Noodle House in Damonte Ranch.

Our Teppanyaki chef from Bali was amazing!! He made the whole experience! Food was just okay for a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant. Steak was cooked perfectly! A little on the pricey side, but good overall thanks to our chef! Recommend the special spicy creamy sauce (have to ask for it)!

The hibachi experience was great! Zuri was fun and a good cook. Thanks for the delicious meal with entertainment. The food were delicious with its Yum Yum sauce and their sushi was also fresh and yummy

The sushi was good, The ambiance was great. Our sushi guy (Gustavo) went above and beyond our expectations, and for that reason alone, we will be back often.

Food was decent but the authentication was not right especially on the tempuras. Service was great and the food same out very fast. Overall quality was average.

The food I don't think is that great for the price! We have been eating out quite a lot trying out new restaurants. And the prices for this was not what I got for food. I think the Habachi experience is probably with the price. But I would not go back.

Reno has a true gem in the heart of midtown. There's a reason it's been here for 25 yrs and I could see that evident in the delicious and creative dishes on their menu. I really had a hard time deciding what to order because I wanted to try it all. The yellowtail app was very well balanced with a nice bit of heat, and the tomato salad had some of the juciest tomatoes I've ever had. The duck breast came 2 ways, both excellent and perfectly cooked. Though I was a bit jealous of my partners Halibut because the broth was so good. Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and professional and we had an excellent date night. I definitely look forward to returning to try some of the other tasty sounding dishes.

Had the rudest waiter of my life. Smart comments evertime he came to our table. Got super pissed cause i asked for ketchup for my fries. Cleaned around our table (not our mess) and my wife while we were sitting at our table. Acted like she was in the way. Upset her to no end. For the price I expect better service. RUINED our anniversary! Too bad the food and atmosphere was nice but not worth dealing with him.

Had an absolutely incredible meal here with some friends. Everything we ordered was on point with bold flavors and great execution. We had multiple appetizers and all four entrees were amazing. I could not recommend a restaurant more. By far the best food in Reno, and best upscale restaurant. The woman who took our drink order before we were sat at our table was a little rude but I would gladly come back.

Expensive but worth it for special occasions . The food is amazing , the decor is cute and the place is rather small but makes it feel Intimate. Expect to pay about 40 to 50 for main dishes , 15 to 20 for small plates and starters and bottles of wine between 50 and 200 . Came here for Christmas eve dinner . There’s no way to book a reservation online , you have to call in . Service was great .

The food was AMAZING. Pricey, but so worth it. The staff was super friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. The atmosphere was wonderful, it was packed when we went but I never felt like I had to talk over anyone even though the tables were sort of close together. The Mason jar cheesecake was TO DIE FOR. Everything came out cooked to perfection and in a timely manner. The lobster spaghetti came out with a whole damn lobster!

Decent location for this franchise. Usually these are really really noisy but this specific location was actually "talkable" at the booths. Food was as expected -- 1 star off since I ordered the prime rib Outback style but the cook only seared and seasoned one side. Just a heads up to tell the waiter to have the cook seared and season both sides.

First time in here.. got looked up and down like I do not belong here.. got my food first impression of my 150$ meals the steak was dry,unseasoned,overcooked,chewy. The Alfredo surf n turd tastes like nothing no cheese no sauces just spices spicy pasta with shrimp with tails on it.. everything was a let down for 150$ you too can be upset you can't finish the food.. thanks outback never again the desert look promising haven't tried it yet

I recently dined at Outback Steakhouse and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant is located in a nice area and the staff, although a bit odd, was friendly. However, there were a few hiccups that caught my attention. Firstly, the waitress seemed to have an unusual way of serving us. Instead of coming to the side of the table we were on, she reached completely across the table, which was a bit confusing. It threw us for a loop, but it wasn't a major issue. Unfortunately, our drink order was initially incorrect and we were charged for it. However, to my surprise, the waitress actually gave us cash to compensate for the mistake. I have never seen this kind of resolution before, and it was a unique gesture that I appreciated. Moving on to the food, I highly recommend trying the wedge salad. It was absolutely delicious and definitely worth the $7.99 price tag. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying choice. As for my main course, I opted for the Seasoned and Seared Prime Rib. It was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was just right, enhancing the flavors beautifully. I also decided to try the loaded potato soup, which was good, but it seemed like it wasn't hot enough. It didn't ruin the overall experience, but it could have been better in terms of temperature. In general, the food at Outback Steakhouse lived up to the standards I have come to expect from this chain. It was on par with other Outback locations I have visited in the past. Despite the minor issues, I would still recommend giving this restaurant a try, especially if you're in the mood for a casual dining experience.

Laughing Planet is a fun and quirky restaurant to get some good vegetarian food. The service was fine, but as you order from a counter you don't really interact much with the staff. It's a bit like a cafeteria, but a much cooler one than you had at school, and with much better food. The interior was really fun and I enjoyed its off-beat decor. I had the Korean bowl which the baked tofu. Keep in mind that it is much more Korean inspired than actually truly authentically Korean. It would really benefit with the addition of some kimchi. The baked tofu was bog standard but the fresh veggies in the cilantro lime slaw with the broccoli and the quick pickled cucumbers were delicious. The heat level from the Korean BBQ sauce was decently good. It was a nice meal but not necessarily memorable.

It was hard to find parking that you didn't have to walk a block for. It's an order at the counter. There are no servers. I had a banhi mi salad that was served as each separate items on the plate with two big wedges of tofu and the peanut sauce that came in a dish that sat on top of my rice. I didn't finish it because it was a little to spicy for me.

This spot is a must-visit every time for me! The food is super tasty, the staff is warm and welcoming, and everything is spotless. We were visiting from California, and I needed a place that worked for both my plant-based diet and my husband's all-you-can-eat style, and this place nailed it. I had the soup and salad, and he went big with a chicken burrito that left him stuffed. We kicked it off with some amazing chips and salsa, and left full and happy!

Honestly, this place has gone so down hill. It used to be amazing and now every time I go there something is wrong with my order or the quality is just not what it used to be. Also, they are chronically understaffed so it takes forever to get your food when there are more than two people ordering. Ex: Thai burrito they didn’t add the tofu that comes with it Bollywood bowl, they legit hadn’t cooked the broccoli and there was hardly any sauce or chicken on it Korean BBQ bowl, they didn’t put the slaw on it

The food was pretty good and they have a decent variety of options for regular and plant based diets. If you want more flavor add avocado and use their salsas. The prices are pretty much in line with other restaurants that have similar menus.

Absolutely Amazing! Laughing Planet is a fantastic vegetarian/ vegan food spot. Super 😎 chill cozy mod environment. I had the Moroccan veggie style.. so super incredible yummy!! Very 😋 delicious! With a mango lime something or other smoothie. The awesome Amazing people definitely know about this Supreme food location. Laughing planet , it's not a joke but everyone is happy and having fun anyways. Yum! 🤍🤗🙌🤜💥🤛💫🤍

This is one of my favorite places to eat vegan foods. They usually have a very interesting special going on and you can always ask for vegan substitutes if needed. I like the laid-back and creative atmosphere. This is the first review where I am including a photo of the unisex bathroom. I think I will do that more in the future since it kind of matters to some folks. At this restaurant you are expected to bus your own table and the drinks are self-serve. I enjoy that just fine. My go-to staple is the Tempe Royale with vegan cheese. At only $11.50, I can completely fill my belly for the rest of the afternoon. My wife and a friend both enjoyed a chomp on the burrito and agreed with me how very tasty it is.

So this restaurant came highly recommended, how ever it was less than satisfactory. Multiple times I watched staff run into customers being in such a hurry. The restaurant was so loud my wife could not hear a thing I said during our whole dinner. The staff did not seem to enjoy being here showing a less than satisfactory work environment. Now down to the food. The flavor was good but not great. My wife's rare steak was well done and my medium well steak was basically a pot roast. For a crisp price of 190 bucks I expected much better service and food. That being said the local outback steakhouse or even texas roadhouse has much better food cooked properly for much less money and larger portions. We ordered cocktails and if i wanted to drink the rum straight i would have just asked for the bottle. I'm not jack sparrow. Neither one of use could finish the drinks so don't waist your money and this over hyped restaurant when better food for better prices and a much better environment is available locally.

Made a reservation and promptly seated when I showed up. As soon as we were seated our waitress came over and told us about the restaurant, my first time there. Her assistant Al came over and introduced himself as well. He brought over some bread and butter which was tasty. Ordered the Cesar salad and it was good. Lettuce not as crisp as other places but still good nonetheless. I ordered the stuff chicken breast. The chicken was delicious but the garlic-herb filling was pretty salty. The baked potato found of had a bit more flavor. Other than that it was a very good experience. They do have their own bathroom.

An upscale steakhouse. Casual dress and better appreciated. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. They're exceptional service ads to an atmosphere of excellence. The restaurant has both tables and booths. Each dining room is well appointed and very comfortable. The bar area is excellent. The service is the same and the staff is very cordial. Of course, the food is excellent.

We celebrated our anniversary here and Shaw, our waitress, along with Sam, the busser, made the evening truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, Shaw was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, while Sam made sure our table was always perfectly set and cared for. The food was fantastic—prepared exactly as we ordered—and every bite was delicious. Together, Shaw and Sam anticipated everything we needed and added such a thoughtful touch to our dinner. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine smiles made us feel so special on our anniversary. Thank you so much, Shaw and Sam, for making our night absolutely perfect!

Wow—what a great first experience at this restaurant! I ordered the Ribeye with an added Lobster Tail, and I’m so glad I did. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, and full of flavor, though just a touch on the salty side. The Lobster Tail was also excellent, perfectly cooked, juicy, and not overdone, which can be rare. The staff here were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. If you're in the area and looking for a quality steakhouse, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Great food and great service!

We decided on a whim to eat at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Reno for our 50th wedding anniversary. We stopped in to make the reservation and said we would eat in the bar/lounge area. We were asked if we were celebrating anything and said our anniversary. Well, they knew how to make it special. Starting with seeting us in a booth in the dining room. Our server Ashley S was hands down the best waitress we have ever had and Sam her "right hand man" was friendly and attentive. This review could go on for pages so I'll sum it up by saying everything was perfect and the entire experience left us feeling very special.

Restaurant was clean. Atmosphere was nice. Most importantly food was delicious. My server Sean was amazing and the manager came over and introduced himself. Really nice steak dinner can't recommend this place enough. Shrimp appetizer was awesome along with the Ribeye dinner. I took a picture but it wasn't the best picture because I had already eaten some of the steak lol. Great experience!

The food and the service were quick, and my burger came out the way I asked. Has a lot of strange decor in this place probably could use some wiping off a lot of dust and cob webs floating around our table from all the hanging decor. Might wanna clean it up a bit. Overall, the food was good.

My daughter and I got there before the men did. We were ignored for over 15 minutes and finally a waitress named Josie came to take our drink order. Came back a few minutes later to get our food order. Within minutes of the men coming in who say at our table, she was right there. She asked if they were ready to order their drinks or food twice in 5 minutes! Obviously, she is one of those that don't want competition from an old woman and the wife of one of the men. Food and drinks were good tho but service really sucked

I had a business lunch here, and the food was great! The atmosphere was very pleasant, the hostess and waitress were both very cordial and polite, we were not rushed, and it felt like home. We will be going back again, I can assure you that!

The Wal is awesome. Great food, great drinks, awesome servers. Bailey was a joy. She recommended the bbq brisket grilled cheese, it certainly delivered. Also just love all the Nevada decor. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Reno.

Stopped here twice on our short visit to Reno. I like the atmosphere and our waitress was great! I had the brisket sandwich the first visit and the hamburger on sourdough on the second visit. Everything was good. Looking forward to stopping in here next time in Reno.

We had a great time going out to this restaurant. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our meals as we had hoped. My husband had the seafood pasta. It had a red sauce and a taste that neither of us liked. I had the steakhouse burger and fries. The fries were awful. They tasted like the oil they were fried in was old. The service was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful decorated, with great lighting. We will return.

First time eating here and it was a whole experience. The food was incredible, some of the best oysters we have had. My husband got the filet mignon and I got the seafood risotto. Both meals were 10/10. The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing, with dim lighting. Our server Jonathon, was incredible, and attentive. Best service we have ever had. Jonathon made our experience so special and we will definitely be back! This place is a must!!

Never again! Old lettuce in my salad, told them I couldn’t have sugar on the rim of my lemon drop then received it with sugar and all they did was wipe it off and redeliver, tomahawk from 2 is tomahawk from 1 but waiting 2 hours for your dinner is ridiculous! Definitely won’t be going back! Bimini is the elite in this town!!

Speakeasy vibe.... Jazz and the greats playing softly... Had a wonderful birthday dinner, followed by a show of Halloween candlelight fever, then went back to the steakhouse for dessert. Honestly this is my family's new favorite restaurant in the Northern Nevada/California area. Our waiter was Anthony and he was a genuine gem. The entire experience was perfect and we will be back.

We enjoyed our food and service at Anthony's Chophouse. The nugget is an older casino but the steakhouse is still really good. We enjoyed the steak and chicken dishes and thought they were cooked to perfection. It was a great date night after watching the live music at the outdoor venue. The price is what you would expect from a steakhouse, nothing special or overpriced. We for sure will come back the next time we watch a concert there.

Dined here twice and Kamel took care of us both times. He was spectacular and made our whole experience unforgettable. He had immense knowledge on the wine list and excellent recommendations from appetizers to dessert. Can’t wait to sit with him again!

Pleasantly surprised. The bun tasted fresh and the cheeseburger patty had minimal grease. The sweet potato fries were done waffle style and delicious. The blueberry mint lemonade was refreshing. The employees were very sweet and gracious. Order/seat yourself.

Went in for salad bar. It was fabulous as usual 4 different salad types...which is awesome. Clean , fresh fruit and avocados. Also have taco salad with taco shell bowls and various meats to add in. On this trip there was no pizza or wings...which kind of was a bummer because of the price. But I wasn't getting that anyway lol The dessert area had brownies, rice crispy treats, cherry compote and apple brown Betty type dessert plus soft serve and sprinkles and waffle cones. I thought that was pretty incredible. The server was attentive and it wasn't crowded...great experience.

Out in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and we needed to eat lunch. I remembered that Sizzler was across the street from the bank, and decided that would be our stop. Great price for the salad bar lunch with my daughter and 2yr old granddaughter. Had something for everyone, quiet atmosphere and facilities. Definitely glad we stopped in, that was a perfect stop.

Excellent salad bar, fresh and clean, friendly service, but management really needs to be paying attention to the cooks. Pretty much every time I eat here, what comes out of the kitchen is barely edible, like these piece of fish that been sitting under a heat lamp for so long that they are basically burnt and dried out. Yeah, because if you can't find decent cooks, at least watch over them. The salad bar was real good though, thanks for that anyway.

Salad bar was great I order my steak medium was so dry and overcooked. The Cook person needs more training ☺ You won't get anyone to come around and check on your drinks. I did loved the salad bar thou

This was my first time at sizzler I had a really good experience here I choose The mega bacon cheeseburger. The burger was juicy and delicious. I requested ice cream as my dessert but that was not available which was unfortunate, The raspberry tea needs a bit more flavor though overall it was a great meal and a nice place to eat!

This isn’t regards to customer service (great service as always), but wanted to point out the chicken wings has more burnt layer and also much smaller than normal. That is 7 chicken wings all together. It was like pealing the skin off shrimp. I’m sure something changed, this alternative needs to change. Come on Sizzler you can do better. The Poke bowl was excellent. The desserts were okay. The prime rib was a huge disappointment. Only went there for the prime rib. It was super tough, overcooked and way overpriced. For that price the whole thing should have been super tender. I should have been able to eat every piece without cutting any chewy yucky stuff off.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. They have a wide variety of "Surf & Turf" options. We went the surf route & it was among the best seafood we've had in Reno. Their wine list is well thought out (not necessarily extensive), as are their signature cocktails & dessert menu. Most of the seating are comfortable booths. Great for couples & groups (not so good for children or wheelchairs). Dimly lit, but very polished finishes & art work. We had a good time, delisious food, pleasant staff & patrons a like (chatting with folks while waiting for seating & after our meal congrigating out front). We will go back! Enjoy!

Early bird birthday dinner for two at 4:30pmish Tuesday evening. Chose the macadamia nut encrusted Chilean Sea Bass ...medium.. was perfectly cooked, tender and moist. Coconut rice and broccolini just right with the sea bass. Birthday boy had a medium rare bison salad, delicious and light. Our waiter Dylan was very attentive, polite and friendly. Dylan elevated our fine dining experience. Very very good food with great service, worth the money. Topped off the meal with a glass of Zinfandel and an expresso martini.

Land Ocean located in south Reno is such a beautiful and delicious experience, with quality steaks and seafood. During this visit, we enjoyed the oysters on the half shell with a citrus mignonette, wedge salad, and French bread. The ribeye comes with asparagus, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and each item was flavorful.

This was our first time coming here and it was wonderful. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable! Our server, Damien was crazy knowledgeable, honest, and so much fun! His advice on our meal was perfect. Tonight we celebrated our daughter’s birthday, we will be back! Thank you for such a great experience!

This is a very well-done fancy restaurant. The dishes start at $20, so the place is pricy. However, one look at the decor reveals that this place is meant for fancy dates or occasions with high-end food made by professional cooks. It is well worth the price and visit if you can afford it because I think the food is worth it.

Absolutely phenomenal brunch, excellent service and reasonable prices. Comfortable and inviting atmosphere that really emphasizes the “family owned” aspect of the business. Our server Damon was friendly and knowledgeable about local spots and gave us some great suggestions for new residents. Will absolutely be back.

Party of 12 & everyone loved it! Tons of options on the salad bar & they brought many different types of meat around. I didn’t eat any of the meat so can’t comment on the flavors but all the guys said it was good. The fried banana was delicious! The espresso martinis delicious.

Wow, this place wasn’t worth it. Everything I ate tasted WAY too salty. I couldn’t taste any real flavor just my mouth burning from all the salt. We came here a couple of years ago when it first opened, and the food wasn’t nearly as salty back then. Now I realize that a lot of restaurants are cutting corners, using way too much salt to save money. It felt like I had to wash my mouth out after every bite. Especially the meats I won’t be coming back.

Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse is located in downtown Reno, right next to a public parking garage. The restaurant conveniently validates parking tickets. The venue looks fresh, bright, and cozy at the same time. Tables are covered with crisp white tablecloths, and the staff is courteous and makes a professional and polished impression. The full rodizio menu is huge, so come hungry. It offers 17 all-you-can-eat grilled cuts of beef, lamb, pork, and chicken, as well as a buffet with hot sides, chilled salads, cheeses, and more. For me, the star of the dining experience was undoubtedly the beef ribs, cooked to absolute perfection. They were succulent, tender, and flavorful. I enjoyed them with scalloped potatoes in béchamel sauce and mushroom risotto.

What an amazing experience. Miss Christine was an exemplary server who really made the friendship-anniversary celebration a delight. She ordered special drinks and created a cute message on our dessert to celebrate the occasion! We will be back!

Wow! Yes could be considered expensive but when you compare it to a casino buffet which there is no actual comparison other than price. The food is delicious pretty well seasoned! The servers are great, the meat servers are friendly and nice. Literally have 0 complaints. The market table had a great variety but seriously start with your meats. While the market table is good the meats are where it's at! Highly recommended!!

If you like dry, chewy, flavorless meat then this place is for you. Not to mention that my waiter spent the majority of his time catering to and flirting with the single women. After he sat us he only checked in on us once in the hour that we were there. The only food with any flavor was the salad, soup, and cheese station. The desserts were tasty too, but those are not made in house. Save your hard earned money. This place is not worth the price of lunch or dinner.

In your typical casino style restaurant, the food is decent. They even have some selections for $5.99. The gravy was way too thick. Everyone liked their food overall. Service was okay. It seems like they are there to get you in and out as quickly as possible. - Regina

I gamble here a lot and also eat here a lot. Last night I ordered a fruit cup instead of vegetables. The only thing that was ripe and edible or grapes and there was only four them. The cantaloupe and honeydew were so unripe I could not chew them. So out of my fruit cup. I ate had 4 little grapes. This is a second time, but last time I will ever order a fruit cup. Diners beware! Also vegetables are always undercooked.

Server was super nice, no wait in line. And food was good and it was very reasonably priced 40.00 bucks for the 2 of us to eat diner- wow-o-wow i could not goto jack in the box for that much!

It blows me away. That service is just so hard to find nowadays. If you want to set up a post office box and retire at this restaurant waiting for your breakfast like all the other retirees inside of here come on down to the Tamarac. If you want a quick meal, that's good. Go to the Cup Down the street you'll get good service and good food. It blows me away that the Coranos. Ceaser's entertainment would have such a low bar!

Consistently serves cold food. This is a health hazard. Be careful. I have frequented this establishment many times in the past. I quit going....then on Saturday I wanted a treat of a reuben sandwich. I ordered and meat was cold, cheese was cold and unmelted, bread was cold and I did not eat the meal. I have complained to managers many times. This time I was charged full price for the meal I did not eat. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent food ginormous portions and cooked correctly! Delicious, very attentive staff, and everyone had a great attitude. It is inside a casino, heavy smoke, but the eating area is very well ventilated. Other words doesn’t smell like cigarette smoke in the restaurant portion. Will definitely be coming back! The casino has some of the nicest slots that I have seen. I rarely worn at other places and actually have come ahead the last two times I've been there. The coffee shop is absolutely amazing. There have a full menu and I have had several dishes and all of them have been delicious.

We were there for dinner, but of course, we had to play a bit before we left. First ever visit. Dinner was good. The coffee shop had daily dinner specials. Portions were big and did was tasty. Well definitely be back to eat. The casino is small. Only has machines, no table games. Older set up. Have to use cage to cash out, no ticket paying machines. Definitely not for tourists, very much locals place.

I really wish I could rate a little bit higher but, I was gambling for a long time and there was not a single cocktail waitress anywhere to be found and I moved closer to the bar and had my service light on for 15 minutes while people who work there and it looked like also managers and suit and ties looked at me walk past me and didn't even look at the service light being on then I stood at the bar for about 15 minutes while the bartender was talking to a guy and she didn't want to turn around and look at me and finally I see a cocktail and she looks at me but doesn't say anything to the bartender or get help in any way shape or form so the bartender looks at me for a second it continues to ignore me and goes over to del waitress fills with her she goes back to talking to a customer so on the way around I grab the cocktail waitresses attention cuz she was not even trying to stop and ask anyone near me if you want something to drink and I asked her for one and she came back around and yelled hold on I'm going to get your drink right now hold on all stressed out. But she did bring my drink around quickly and it was honestly the best White Russian I've had in a long time I just wish that people would be a little bit more considerate especially when that service lights on and thought your car you shouldn't be talking to one person and not looking around you to see if anybody else needs anything. It was very frustrating and I felt like a burden like I was asking too much for a drink and that sucks

Great location , out of Reno , in sun valley , quiet area , lots of fun for the adults I'm the family , and great food in the restaurant, I'd recommend this place to those that love peace away from homeless people and drama ...

Ordered to go from the coffee shop. Food was good. Waitress was wonderful and got everything perfect.

I was told this was the best steak house but was very disappointed, steak was dried seemed thatvl it was kept in water no flavor, looked like disgusting to be honest. The server was great and friendly, has a glass of wine to wash the taste out. Not my cup of tea... Steak was done in under 10 min .. a well-done steak .. sad day.

Very delighted we decided to come to Boomtown's Steakhouse. After a day of gambling, this is the perfect spot to have a nice cocktail, steak, fish, or burger and wind down. It has a nice, elegant yet cozy steakhouse atmosphere, great menu options, affordable prices, and fresh quality food. Our server Greg made the whole experience outstanding. We were so impressed with the great job he did that we hope that next time we come, we get him again as our server! We really appreciate how efficient he is, his friendly demeanor, active listening, and overall professionalism. Hands down the best service you could receive. Now let's get to the food! We started with vibrant salads, the beet and wedge salads had a gentle balance and a colorful medley of flavors. The palate cleanser between courses is the perfect touch to reset your taste buds. The steak was flavorful, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection by far one of the best steaks I've had. The shrimp, calamari, crab cakes, and halibut tasted very fresh. Wherever they get their meat and seafood, you can tell it's very high quality. The burger was juicy and also cooked perfectly, it was so big we saved half for later. Getting to the dessert, the creme brulee was rich and creamy, slightly sweet with that perfect crunch of the caramelized sugar on top. We had a piece of the New York cheesecake later on with the blueberry compote, which was equally as delectable and delicious. Overall, you can tell a lot of thought and care was put into our meal, which we enjoyed immensely. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I had the opportunity to visit the Boomtown Steakhouse with my friend and was not disappointed in the least! I'd like to give an extra ⭐ star to the service that we received at dinner! The service staff were polite and friendly and informative. Big shout out to Zach our server! What a 💎 gem he was! The food was delicious 👍🏻 and plentiful! And their desserts were mouth watering 😋.

Great food and ambience. Our server (i think her name was kayley) was awesome and very attentive. The food was flavored and cooked beautifully. And the selection of drinks was perfect. We started with lobster bisque a d the bread. We were served a sorbet and champagne pallet cleanser that was delicious and a nice treat in between courses. I got a prime rib and my company got the ribeye steak. We didn't have room for dessert, but next time I'm definitely going to try something!

So, I wanted a steak and saw this place driving by, so I said "Lets go!" We had two rib eyes, Mac and cheese, and truffle fries, all of which were great. The steak was cooked perfectly. I could have gone for a second order of the truffle fries. The service waa great and you order and pay online. We had a great time and sat outside. Meal was fantastic and for two we paid just over $100. Worth it. Look at the bacon on the mac and cheese!

The food is good at a fair price. My ribeye steak, ordered medium rare was definitively rare. The brussel sprouts were awesome. This place has no servers. There is no human contact for ordering, which means you can't ask for recommendations or feedback... Unfortunate. If you like not interfacing with people, this may be a good place for you. I had to pay for my dinner before I received it, so I had to guess on a tip, or leave whatever cash I had. Not a good dining experience for me, but others may like it.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place! I was a little put off at first with the ordering style as you are advised you can order up front like a fast casual, or you can order from a QR scan thru your phone. That seemed really weird for a steak house, but in hindsight it really didn’t matter, and I feel like the service was better since the staff didn’t have to worry about taking orders in the old fashion way. All the food was superb! The potatoes au gratin was so delicious that we literally ordered another small size for our dessert. The complementary cookies made my inner foodie so HAPPY! I loved the Cesar salad- my only complaint would be that the croutons were extremely hard and felt like I was going to chip a tooth, so I had to kind of crack them apart on the plate, but still they were very difficult to chew, and they tore up my gums a little bit. I am a firm believer that restaurants with small menus should have outstanding flavors, and this place definitely hit the spot. The staff were all very kind and courteous, great experience!

Service is order yourself from a online menu via a QR code. Atmosphere aims at fancy or fine dining night, but QR ordering detracts from that feel for me. Staff don't interact with tables outside of bringing food which was quick. Mac and cheese was small portion and slightly over done. 4$ seemed high for that. Steak was good, but truly didn't need the house steak sauce, which seemed to be Heinz 57 by flavor. Coconut shrimp portions were good, but overcooked. Their shrimp sauce tangy and delicious. Meal concluded with a small cookie, not bad but not special.

So good! Nice, clean restaurant with delicious food, and stellar service. I only got a few pics because I was hungry. My ribeye was incredible. The grilled shrimp with mango sauce was yummers, the asparagus with lemon aiolo was splendid, and the onion rings were phenomenal

Had the Ribeye, Mac and cheese, Ceasar salad, it was amazing! I ate at the bar and the bartender was great! I will return and recommend!

Bartender was amazing, manager was amazing. Food was amazing. Love the menu set up and portion sizes for the side. Can't believe more places dont do it this way. Also, the Maple Bacon Old Fshioned was a hit. Recommend making a reservation because it is small, but worth it.

I’ll definitely be coming back! These guys absolutely nailed the pirate theme, with incredible attention to detail that really brings the whole place to life. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with hanging lights, candles, and rich red and black furniture; perfect for a date night or a unique night out. The food was just as impressive, especially the gnocchi served on a cast iron pan, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, friendly, and knowledgeable. Huge shoutout to Obed for making the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend!

It’s not $30-50 per person, we paid like $20-25 per person for lunch and super friendly staff, always making sure ur good and super prompt service. Amazing food as well, highly recommended and amazing ambiance. Seems some Karen bashed this place with an unrealistic rating before…!!

This restaurant has a fantastic aesthetic, amazing decor and very cozy. Yet you can either dress up or wear casual attire. The service has always been lovely from every waiter, chef, bartender and hostesses I’ve ever had here. Pricing is phenomenal for the quality of the food, atmosphere and service. They also now have a hotel right behind the restaurant if need be. I used to go to the Reno location frequently and I’m so excited to start going to this new location as well! I highlyyyy suggest you try this place out!!!!

best burger in reno/sparks/tahoe it's a healthy size compared to many places that skimp and i've tried them all in the past 11+ years. also the thousand island pink sauce is a 10/10 this time i had to get it on the side because usually its on the burger already. the theme of gambi's, is a pirate italian theme & they executed. my new favorite spot.
