Definitely recommend making a reservation, even on a weekday. I debated on doing a massage, so I passed on reserving one, but regretted my decision when I got there. I asked if any were available, but they were fully booked, especially since I went on a Friday late afternoon, and it was super busy. This was probably one of my favorites in Germany. The infinity pool with the amazing sunset was perfect, it appears to be near a lake. So calm. There's an indoor pool as well, several saunas that have the temp & and humidity. I don't think a jacuzzi unless I missed it. I loved the outside gardens, with lounge chairs. Very relaxing. I got a cappuccino & a brownie cake, delicious. 2 hours with my snacks was less than 50€... I was disappointed at the amount of people who snuck their phone in their robes, there was a group that was also taking pics from the top deck into the pool. Huge NO, NO... especially since everyone in their birthday suits. Otherwise, I highly recommend it! The sunset was amazing that evening.

The place is really nice decorated but insane busy… we just went out (sunday of march) and we liked (equipment, decoration) but we think it is not worth it the money. We paid 3,5€ to reserve a place but still really busy… so why we should pay a reservation if still there are waiting lines to enter or to acces to the sauna. Moreover, our plan was to have breakfast there but the waiting line also was really long. Important to know that the restaurant is inside the spa, so the time you spend waiting is also added on the time of the spa (you pay for hours… so perfect business…). A SPA is to relax but with so many people is not really possible. Also a friend opened the locker, leave the bracalet (pass) next to him, and when he finnish changing, the bracalet was not there… Important information we would like to know in addvance: -is allowed to bring your bottle of water, so you can refilled. Otherwise 3€ for a small bottle. -the parking from the spa cost 1,5€ -is textil free so you must go nacked -It is 25’ by car from Dusseldorf center I guess if you are there maybe for a weekend the experience is different… or maybe during weekdays is less busy… I do not know, but if you pay 3,5€ (on top of the final price) in addvance to book a spot, what it is not acceptable is that then there you still need to do long waiting lines. Hope this aspects get improved because it is a really nice place.

Absolutely beautiful place. Coming from England we were a bit surprised by the no swimsuit/trunks allowed but we fully embraced the culture and loved every minute. The restaurant staff were so friendly and welcoming and the whole place was extremely clean.

This place is incredible. It is such a relaxing place and very organised. The Saunas are clean and well kept. Some of the Saunas sit around 100 people. There must be around 12 different Saunas that run different temperatures and different humidity levels as well as different fragrances. Every 30 minutes they also run a different fragrance in certain Saunas, where a member of staff come into a sauna with a full bucket of water which has already been cented with the correct fragrance and they organise a 15 minutes sweat out, they put the water on in 3 stages and at each stage they force the heat around the sauna with towels waving them through the air. When they do this programme in different areas the Saunas are very busy as people do plan their schedule to go into the different Saunas when these events are on. They are excellent in doing this great programme. We also booked a message and it was excellent, the staff were very good and we did enjoy the experience. The 2 lovely masseuse were very good, but their English was very limited, but after all we were in Germany and we should have learnt more German. They also have multiple pools with different heat levels and also plenty of relaxing areas with comfortable beds to lay on both indoor and outdoor. The park is well situated next to a wonderful lake with some beautiful views, especially from the Sea view sauna. They also have a lovely food hall where you can buy drinks and snacks or a full meal. The place is very well organised. Please remember that when using the Saunas you have to be naked, but you must sit on your towel that you carry around with you. All in all it is a wonderful place to visit and it is not cheap but well worth a visit. It is a large place but is well used, and i would imagine extremely busy on weekends, we were fortunate we booked for the full day on a Thursday, personally when we do go back there we would not go on bank holidays or Friday to Sunday. I could not take more pictures of the place as phones or cameras are not allowed passed the changing rooms, which is correct. They certainly need to get the staff to watch out more for this as it would have been very easy to take your phone into areas that people would not be happy about. There should be signs up saying that no phones or cameras passed this point and if people are found with the equipment beyond that point they would be asked to leave the building or site.

An amazing spa - spent 10 hours here. There’s so many saunas, outdoor pool, plunge pool, steam room, resting beds indoor and outdoors, various sauna ceremonies and even a restaurant. Totally nude but you have robes too

I love this place. It was clean, there were lovely facilities and the staff was very welcoming. It felt like my own piece of paradise for one hour. The fragrances and ambience matched. You could also change the mood of the room, and order drinks and snacks. I wish I lived nearby, so I could go every two weeks. It's very affordable!

We booked this experience months in advance, yet when we arrived today, we were told it was canceled due to water damage—without any prior notice. They didn’t bother to contact us beforehand or offer any compensation. My birthday surprise was completely ruined. Don’t even think about coming to this place. There are better options in Düsseldorf with a decent service. Terrible customer service and absolutely not recommended!

I have been there many times, usually it's a 5/5 stars experience. Really good value for money & time. But this time the cleaning service knocked on the door exactly the minute that my slot was ending. When I had to pay it was very rushed and impersonal. These two things to a certain extent made the experience less good this time. I understand you might be fully booked but maybe you have to allow more time between the visitors

We're here frequently to unwind, enjoying the privacy of pool and sauna. Not a big fan of the massage-beds as seem rather useless, but the atmosphere is nice and with the newly enhanced options to get snacks (moderately priced) it's also a nice treat. Last two visits getting troubles however with the technical part, TV not working (which wouldn't bother me as were not there to watch TV, bit the ambience of videos shown there is nice) and struggle to connect to audio to play own music. Reported it an got a €30discount for next visit, which is at least a nice customer support. would overall suggest to bring a bottle of water or at least something to drink the tap water when using the sauna (as everywhere in EU, the tap water is perfectly fine for drinking and as everywhere in Germany, you're charged an arm and a leg for bottled water in a restaurant) Anyway. Good to go here, parking available (free for customers), but reservation required long time in advance.

Lovely experience, private, secure, great place to enjoy time with friends or a partner. And for those of us averse to the German standard "ohne textile" a great way to have a sauna experience without dealing with other naked people! 🤣🤷‍♀️

Hi, my deduction was due to the water of the pool. The chlor levels were too high, almost abrasive and the water was a bit cold.

I used to go there often with the old owner. After checking the opening hours on google and booking the massage online I went there 2 h early to enjoy some Sauna before. Apparently the Sauna was not open so I had to wait for 1,5h for it to open. Although they were super nice and trying to make it as comfortable as possible it was not the experience I was looking for. The massage afterwards was good though. All in all I have the feeling that they are very focused on the swimming school now and less professional in running a Spa business which is a pitty because it was one of the more private spots to go to an enjoy a Spa.

My top spot in Düsseldorf… don’t go there otherwise it’s getting crowded 😂❤️❤️❤️

My first experience at a Kaiserbad, it feels very spacious and private as well, I really like that no one else can access your own changing room/ locker room and it connects to the pool area directly. one slight imperfection is the pool size is really not big and it’s not very suitable for swimming as serious exercise. But the whole vibe is really nice

Loves my first visit here during their annual Health day. The individual change rooms with lockable cabinet are great, only require a small collateral in exchange. The keep the place very clean and orderly. The indoor swimming pool air temperature is kept very warm. The outdoor salt water jacuzzi is perfect after a swim, the water is 32 Celsius, so on a cool day, it's perfect. The salt grotto is a perfect place to relax and I totally fell asleep! Definitely going back.

The pool is not nice for swimming because it's normally splitted and the lower half is not deep enough. The outside salty and warm pool is nice to relax.

"Historical" (1902) swimming pool and spa. The main pool (~5€) is not very large for swimming but has an interesting setup with changing rooms all around on 2 floors. There is a pleasant outdoor warm pool/jacuzzi accessible for an additional 1.5€ (you pay with the electronic chip given at the entrance). The spa area (~14€, including entrance to the pool) has 2 dry saunas, 1 steam room (really steamy!), cold and warm (39°C) baths.

Good: Price is really competitive Water was clean and warm Individual cabins Bad: only one person at the front desk is not enough. Especially at around 14:00 when some go out and others come in and she needs to scan the COVID-Pass, take the Deposit etc.

The pool itself is ok, but be prepared to extremely rude personnel at the reception. There is a woman who even barely says hello to you, and today she refused me to enter because they are closing the entrance 1 hour before, although I was at the doors exactly on time. There were like 5 people and she turned them all away. Not to mention today there was a transport strike, and people had to walk all the way to them! I even don't want to go there anymore because I don't want to contact stupid people who make your mood down for your own money. Better they replace them with automatics, would be also good against corona.

Honestly I find this place and the way it is managed, quite disappointing, my advice is AVOID IT. We gave them a call before driving 2 h to get there, we were informed that the warm pool was under maintenance, but we had been reinsured that we could use the jacuzzi. We were a bit disappointed for not being able to use the big warm pool, also considering that the 30€ entry fee was not reduced for the inconvenience, but we were still motivated to go thank to the presence of the jacuzzi. Once we got there, the receptionist (that probably was also the same person who picked up our call), told us that no jacuzzi was present but a small warm pool yes; our disappointment was growing, but we had been driving 2h to get there, so we decided to give this place a shot anyway. We paid 60€, and then once inside the spa area, we asked another member of the staff where to find the "small warm pool", we were then informed that actually it is just a bath tube for couples and they charge an extra fee of 25€ for 30 minutes of use. This is the moment when we realized we drove 2 h for nothing... Only the saunas were available. I feel this is kinda of a fraud, the main attract of the spa is out of order, the price Is not being reduced accordinlgy and on the top of it, they lie to attract customers, we wasted 60€ and a lot of fuel to get to this place, where we spent only 30 mins.

Otherwise lovely place, especially the outside area but they have one horrible employee. The short brunette lady harrassed us for 45min before closing for various different reasons. It ended that she came into the mens showers to say something while I was showering there alone. This is unacceptable behaviour from an employee as she could have knocked and say her thing rather than coming into the shower. What a shame for a nice place..

Nice sauna, but expensive compared to other (and better) ones in the region. A deposit of 20 euros needs to be paid for a bathing suit. I paid by card, but they gave my deposit back in cash. When I asked if they couldnt pay it back on my debit card the lady behind the counter promptly and rather unfriendly declined this. In summary: Saunas nice. Restaurant nice. Pool very small. Garden nice. Checking in and out not so nice.

I looved the place. So classy, amazing high end. Beautiful architecture. The lake that is half natural, half swimming pool was totally cool. Frogs croaking. The restaurant was great. I loved every minute!

Water in the swimming pool that is supposed to be warm is not really at a temperature that you can enjoy it outside in the cold weather. Saunas were ok. Restaurant was ok , nothing special. One more note which I didn’t affect my review but I want to mention it here is the fact that these places only allow for the nude when using the pools and saunas. I hope that they can change it in the future as really doesn’t do anything good to the experience.

The fact its from 13th century speaks alot. When I went there it was well kept and clean. I think alot of people will miss this or don't take their time to enjoy this sculture just because it on free public sight. Which is a pity. You really should come take a look.

Between the basilica and the old town there is an interesting sculpture. Apparently it's a memorial for the city receiving the rights, though without context everyone could create his own story. Depending on the angle you look at it there are other details to see.

Well structured and purpose-driven airport for short and mid-to-long range flights. I have had the possibility to easily go through security with no wait time and the gates information are clear enough for frequent fliers. Food shops could improve in price/quality combination but overall positive feedback!

The Duesseldorf airport was easy to access, whether by bus or train, which made the journey very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The airport itself is medium-sized, not too big to get lost in, but not too small either. It had everything I needed without being overwhelming. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience.

Düsseldorf airport is actually pretty well structured. Security was smooth and quick, barely any waiting time, which was a relief. What could be better though – the prices in the shops felt a bit much. I know it’s common in airports, but still, could be more reasonable. And the main issue for me was the chaos at the departure area. People were just stopping anywhere, no clear flow or control – that part definitely needs improvement.

Not sure how this airport intends to compete or even attract more travelers.. upon arrival the baggage takes hours, it’s as if if this big A380 arrived unexpectedly on time! And then upon leaving the lines for security expand all the way to the check in counters. This has been happening several times.. Düsseldorf get your act together you do represent the country…I still like how compact this airport is though

The airport is fairly new but not a huge hub like Frankfurt. Layout is modern and spacious. It's fairly clean though less towards the railway station. I was annoyed as I had to use stairs twice to go to the restroom while other airports have it on the same level. The coffee and food option at arrival is minimal and underwhelming. Staff is trying and it's just about enough for a breakfast bite but nothing more.

I recently spent time at Düsseldorf Airport and had such a smooth travel experience that I’d fully recommend it to anyone flying through. From the moment I arrived, everything felt intuitive and well-organized. Navigation between Terminals A, B, and C is seamless: signs are clear, walkways are direct, and even crossing between terminals is simple thanks to elevated corridors. Once through security, it’s easy to move between gates without confusion. Security and check-in moved fast. Despite moderate traffic, lines rarely felt long and staff generally operated efficiently. Afterward, there’s no shortage of food and shopping: from kiosks and cafés to duty‑free stores and even a small supermarket in the arrivals level—plenty of variety to suit business or leisure needs. The design is modern and clean. Seating areas are well spaced, charging stations are readily available, and free Wi‑Fi works reliably throughout. As a bonus for plane enthusiasts, there’s a visitor terrace where you can watch landings and takeoffs—simple yet enjoyable, with great views across the apron. Lounges add real value if you have the opportunity to access them. I spent time in the Open Sky Lounge in Pier C—it’s bright, calm, and recently refreshed. There’s a decent buffet, complimentary drinks, quiet zones, and showers if you want to freshen up before boarding. For travelers in Pier B, the Hugo Junkers Lounge delivers solid food offerings and an apron-facing ventilation-filled interior. Transport connections are a highlight. There are two rail stations: the S‑bahn at the terminal for regional connections and the main station a short ride away via the SkyTrain offering intercity and ICE trains. The SkyTrain is automatic and fast—handy if you’re heading into Düsseldorf or onward in Germany. Taxi and rideshare pickup zones are next to the terminal exit; just be mindful that airport-to-city-center fares can sometimes feel higher than expected if unpaid extra charges pop up—using an app‑based service helps avoid that. Overall, Düsseldorf Airport feels efficient, modern, and thoughtful. It recently won “Best Regional Airport in Europe” at the Skytrax World Airport Awards—a well-deserved recognition in my opinion. My experience felt stress-free from bag drop to boarding, with helpful staff, good amenities, reliable Wi‑Fi, and easy transfer options. If you need a regional hub in Europe that runs like clockwork and offers both functional and comfortable services, Düsseldorf Airport delivers.

A modern airport with easy access to the city. The SkyTrain monorail connects the terminals to the main train station quickly. The station is clean but bathrooms can get busy sometimes. Overall, a convenient airport for travel in the region.

The building is perfectly encased with the surrounding area, withe the pond on one side and the square in the other. For architect lovers, another must see in this fantastic city.

Infrastructure at its finest! This is the most beautiful area of Düsseldorf and it cannot be compared to other international cities! There's lots of green space and also a big pedestrian plaza for people to walk. A great walkability success! It's also very peaceful with few cars around the area and is a great place to take some photos. 5 stars!!!

When parking next to the hotel you must stop briefly in front of the hotel to pick up the parking card from the Front desk. Upon arrival there was no one at the reception and it took 10 minutes to find someone. On the day of our departure we had to return the parking card, because of that we received a traffic fine because the hotel doesn‘t have an area where cars can stop for loading and unloading luggage. This hotel is Perfect If you don’t have a car.

The central position, especially for visiting the Christmas markets, is ideal and a major reason why we keep coming back. However, this time we were less satisfied with the room. We had a room with a dormer where the bed was also located. Unfortunately, this layout wasn’t comfortable for us. The combination of the bed and the dormer led to me bumping my head twice (and yes, I admit, a bit clumsy of me). Still, I feel that the price and the limited space in this room don’t quite match up. I mentioned this to the hotel and will avoid booking this particular room in the future.
