This ramen spot was not bad. We got there around 4:30pm and there was a decent line. We waited about 20 minutes before getting a table. It did move pretty quickly though. When ordering I appreciated the staff knowing Japanese made me feel like I was back in Okinawa. I wasn’t a fan of the teriyaki chicken but everything else was pretty standard. The edamame was just fine because it’s pretty hard to mess up. I did enjoy the miso soup. Will likely try a new place in the future to see different takes on the dish. Thanks!

Delicious food, the ramen was fantastic! A lovely experience with very friendly staff, it was just a pity that two meals arrived much earlier than the other 3, so those two people were almost finished by the time the 3 other people’s food arrived. But overall a lovely evening there with great food!

Initially we wanted pork with the ramen, but I think they have recently changed the menu so it’s just chicken, which was disappointing. But the ramen was decent and the fried chicken was really good. Good level spicy as well.

The food tasted amazing! A lot of ramen choices and each of them looking wholesome. (Add fried chicken, was one of the best toppings!) Shrimp was fresh and delicious, soup base rich in taste and noodles soft-chewy and super filling. Portion size was huge, we barely finished it and, well, couldn’t escaped overeating. The place is pretty crowdy and there was a waiting line to be seated outside, because all tables were full, but the food itself worth the wait. Also cooking time was super fast.

Great Traditional Japanese food! Service is really fast, our waiter was still taking our food order and our drinks were served. And our food was served within 15 minutes. Though it is quite cramped, it does add to the atmosphere. Worth every penny

Ajitama Tonkotsu ramen noodles texture just nice chewy, soup taste ok milky meaty flavor (lighter broth version). Miso ramen ok good too. Dinner time always have queue, need to wait patiently.

Nice ramen, I don't know if I would consider it wow the best but it's tasty 😋 I can't deny that it gets very crowded at night, the tables are really close to each other, I could barely hear my partner talk, but well. Overall good, I would come again in a less busy time! 🍜

Overall it was just an OK place. The food was fine. I think a bit of personal touch was missing in the service. If you want try some oysters in a nice atmosphere with some French wine you can try that. Prices are a bit on higher side, which does not justify the overall experience.

NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE. This is not a seafood restaurant. It’s literally a HOLE where you fear for your health after eating. I’ve never eaten lobster in my life and came to Düsseldorf specifically for that. The lobster cost 100 euros and 60 euros. I was with my relatives. When they brought me the lobster I ordered, I first thought it was a joke. I’ll attach photos of what it looked like. We ordered oysters and two lobsters—one big, one smaller. Now, let me tell you the problem. Upon entering the restaurant, you’re immediately greeted by a huge freezer where they store the seafood, but the catch is that this freezer either doesn’t work or works so weakly that you don’t feel any cold at all, even when touching the lid. Moving on. The oysters we ordered—they’re in the photos. They weren’t alive. They didn’t react to anything—neither lemon juice nor touch. We returned half the order, fearing for our health, as seafood poisoning is one of the most dangerous. Next, about the lobsters. And here’s where it gets interesting. What you see in the photos is exactly what they brought us. If it’s not clear: they cook the product, put it on display, and wait for someone to buy it. What’s on the plate in the photo is a lobster that was cooked who-knows-when, cold and dry. It wasn’t prepared an hour before we arrived or in our presence. I think it was cooked 2 or 3 days ago. The one in the photo is a large lobster. I didn't take a picture of the second one. The sauce was a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup. To say it was bad doesn’t even begin to cover it. I literally feared for my health. In one of the photos, you’ll see a crab that was already cooked. That’s a ready product, prepared who-knows-when. NEVER, under any circumstances, go there. It’s dangerous for your health.NEVER The price of two losbets was about 150 Euros

I actually liked the restaurant, but I think there is potential for improvement. Some dishes are pretty good (usually quite small, but for french cuisine that is often the case) and some dishes are just not it. Additionally I find the restaurant quite pricey for their services. I understand that düsseldorf isn’t directly at the sea, so I am not going to be too harsh, but for that money one can find a bit better food. But I wouldn’t say it is a bad restaurant. I can actually very much recommend the Moules. They were very tasty and not so expensive.

Best seafood restaurant. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and fresh. Service is great but the ambiance is a bit too loud if you are someone who is looking for a quiet fine dining experience. But, the food should make up for that. We will definitely comeback.

A good restaurant when you’re in the mood for seafood. We had 4 different types of oysters and two different pastas with mussels, fish and prawns. All the ingredients were fresh, food was delicious and service was good. Only thing we didn’t like was the bread which unfortunately wasn’t fresh at all. I had the following that I can recommend: 1️⃣ Starter: burrata with colorful tomatoes 2️⃣ Main course: Caesar salad with corn-fed chicken and chips The service was as charming as only Italians can be. And they took great photos of us. The atmosphere feels a bit like Italian meets Portuguese, thanks to the beautiful azulejos (tiles) on the floor. I can recommend the restaurant Primitivo without reservation, because everything was really delicious! Thank you!

We paid about 40 Euros per person for an appetizer, antipasti main and dessert. The waiters were very kind, even though they did not speak good English. Attire was smart casual. Great food, ambience and friendly, polite staff. We were here for new year Eve dinner with friends. Our friends recommended this place. There was a special menu for the evening , which was expensive :) I took ravioli with deer meat. It was tasty. They also had fireworks at midnight which was also fun. But in general I liked the place, good to hangout with friends.

Delicious food! The medium-rare Salmon dish was amazing, and so was the Australian Entrecôt. The portion was small but so delicious that it's all you need to be full. Place is on the expensive side, though.

Lunch on a Friday afternoon. This is a popular restaurant among locals and tourists, so I gave it a go. I started with the fresh spring roll with prawns. I think it was a nice starter, tho I rather have it with a different sauce than hoi sin. As main I've ordered the classic Pho Bo. The broth was good, but it was no longer piping hot. I think that they could have added more meat in it for that price. Also the slightly raw slices on top that should be cooked by the broth, could have been put in the bowl with more care. It was just a big lump which made the overlapping pieces not cook properly. I had to divide the slices. A little more love and care could have made it better. I also ordered the lemon tea and it was just OK.

We mainly came here to try their banh khot but we ended up ordering other dishes as well. Please keep in mind that they only serve banh khot during specific hours of the day, so make sure to check their website before coming! The flavour was only okay and they weren't as crispy as we would have liked them to be. Their cha gio is probably the best dish we had there. Very crispy and they're huge! The pho & bun is so-so. Service was quite slow.

It was clear you need a reservation, the restaurant opened at 6pm and there was a line already… and we immediately understood why! The beef pho was ready in just a bling of an eye, the broth was very fresh and delicious. The home made chili topped it of…! A true recommendation!!

Best Pho I ever had!! It was actually one of the best meals I had in MONTHS. it was so warm yet fresh at the same time, they had delicious and home made spicy chilli oil and the dish was served with lots of sauces (fish sauce, chili sauce and a sweet sauce) so you could adjust to your liking. The waiters were super sweet too!

I went there 2 different days and the experience was perfect each time. The first time was on the weekend so the restaurant was really crowded and we needed to wait a bit long for our order to be prepared but the other time when it was a weekday the atmosphere was more relaxed, I enjoyedit very much. The food is absolutely amazing, very big portions with all tasty elements! I tried karaage curry and karaage ramen on different occasions. I loved it! The waiter/waitresses were also really attentive and kind. I felt welcomed. Definitely again!

Had too much meat in the past few days in Germany, therefore, we decided to search for Asian food instead, especially when we are in a little Tokyo area, it's very easy to find those authentic Japanese foods. We tried the deep fried chicken Ramen and rice. The taste was good, portion is big! And the yuzi lemonade was actually German made, bravo 🤩

Your street side everyday run of the mill ramen place. However with the context that this ramen place is in Düsseldorf, then all credit to them on how good their ramen tastes. We were a group of 2. For starters, we ordered the Chicken Gyoza and then for the mains, Tan Tan Spicy Karage Ramen and the Tan Tan Spicy Veggie Ramen. The Chicken Gyoza were good but you can easily get frozen ones from the supermarket and do it yourself at home. Good but nothing incredible. On to the mains, the Tan Tan Spicy Karage Ramen came with 2 fried Karage, 2 slices of chicken and a light assortment of complementary vegetables. Putting it together, it was pretty good. All the ingredients came together nicely. Do take note it might be a little spicy if you usually don’t eat any spice at all. For those who do eat even some spice, it’s fully palatable. Overall, no frills, get your ramen and get out. Be prepared to queue during busy meal time hours. I would come back if I’m craving for a decent bowl of Ramen.

I don’t understand what is the hype about this. It s quite overrated, nothing special :/ I ordered original ramen and didn’t like the chicken, it had the skin and it was quite chewy. I ordered an extra egg, it was overcooked, also other veggies were not that fresh. So I don’t think this place deserves +4.5 stars but people who worked there were very nice :) thank you for the service

Absolutely massive amounts of food, especially the main courses, I could never finish in my lifetime. I had the broth/soup with noodles and beef which were amazing. The homemade hot sauce was great with it too. My friend had the tofu pockets which weren't anything special though, bit tasteless. She also asked if they were fried, they said yes, but they definitely weren't. So miscommunication there. We shared the rainbow dumplings which those alone I would come back for. Overall great place would definitely recommend!

Super delicious chinese food! Their rainbow dumplings were really good. It came with 3 different types (chicken, pork & veggie). The sauce was so yummy! For main dish I got the hot plate with chicken breast, veggies, cashew nuts and their special sauce with homemade noodles. Everything tasted so good that I will definitely come back to try other dishes!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Düsseldorf, so much so that I am a regular. The food, ambiance, and service and high quality. The owner is always very kind to me and remembers my order, even though I do not speak German. WOW! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! PERFECT! I have eaten in so many asian restaurants in Europe, and USA, and still, what a surprise to find this highly recommend restaurant. The MANGO SALAD was amazing: hot, fresh, so unique and so tasty (~8 €). The CHICKEN NUDELS was one of the best I have ever eaten. Colorful, high quality Nudels, and the sauce was not less than perfect, with full of flavor, but perfectly balanced (~16 €). And finally the desert (they have only one dessert), the COCONUT PUDDING WITH ICE CREAM was big enough to share, and it was addictive, not less (~6 €). Above everything, the SERVICE was very friendly! DON'T DARE TO MISS THIS PLACE!

Went on my own. Walked up just after opening and there was enough time before the booked tables later. I had the dumplings as a starter. they were pot-stickers and tasted great, lovely and fresh. For main I had the Beef hot plate which came with either noodles or rice, I took noodles. I didn't really need the noodles but they were clearly fresh. The beef and veg was juicy and tender. Ate it all but there were too many noodles. Had beer to drink. Friendly service. My first time to Dusseldorf but would go back if I visited again.

We booked last minute for early Saturday night which was a good thing as it was very busy. The menu has a nice balance of prices, there’s no need to order starters as the mains are huge. The food was delicious - we had goose leg and pork knuckle because Germany! - but everything was very salty which might be quite typical for German cuisine. All the servers were friendly and helpful, and it was fun to see into the open kitchen.

Good food for an affordable price. They have some unique German dishes and they are very good. There is usually a wait around 20 minutes until you get your food. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available, but a table can have only six people, so be aware if you're going with a larger group.

Everything was amazing. Best Angus burger I’ve had in a very long time. Great sauerkraut and veal schnitzel. Everything was out of this world and believe me I’m extremely picky. Waiter was so helpful and nice, service was unbelievably quick.

And we had the roasted cauliflower and the baked eggplants which were really tasty. The service was a bit slow. Really enjoyed food, it was mmmm with every bite. Food is tasty and flavourful, you can find vegetarian options and most importantly very warm welcoming personnel. Interior also designed in the same theme with different framed pictures and books from Israel. Everything comes fast and warm. I tried couple of Mediterranean restaurants, but for me here they serve most creamiest and flavourful hummus with tahini sauce on top, and everything we ate was a mouthful of joy. This place is a small bit of heaven in Düsseldorf. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Food is just amazing and you must try it! Hummus is delicious, tabouleh and salads are full of fresh herbs, meat is tender and juicy, fries are homecut and homemade. There are no wrong sauces, no wrong spices, no faux pas in everything that we've tried. Just an explosion of flavours in every mouthfull. It's a great option for vegetarians/vegans as well. Service is as nice as it gets, all people were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. With only one visit, it quickly became one of my favorite places in the city. Super recommended!

Very tasty if somewhat expensive food with excellent, friendly service. You should definitely try the starter plate for 2 and the lamb karre. Costs about 25-40 euros per person depending on what you order, but the taste and quality of ingredients definitely makes it worth it. The homemade bread is also amazing.

Really good place to spend with your family and friends. The food was very delicious and on time served (starters are out of the world). The only problem is slightly unfriendly staff, but not so that we will not visit anymore. The place is to recommend.

Great food and portions, also the food came out quite fast. However the service was kinda meh. Our company was 2 people and we hade to sit and wait to be seated, but no one came to greet us for about 15 minutes. The least they could say was to tell us to wait. Half of the staff doesn’t give you attention or barely looks at you while serving. One slammed our food on to the end of the table which was disappointing since we had already felt the service was off. Also our drinks weren’t cold at all :/

I went to this place with my friends, the ordering system was pretty smooth but the service wasn't. One of my ordered dish was not delivered at all until I requested for it twice. The food came to the table really fast but some of the meats were cold and tasted frozen. No cutlery or napkins on the table. Overall an average experience.

I love this place except for their service . You do receive the food quite fast but it’s really hard to flag down anyone if you want recommendations or to explain more . I love their Banchans it’s so good that itself makes me wanna go there more . Their bulgogi is amazing . I love their beef udon noodles and their gyoza’s . Great place with good food for excellent prices. It might not be exactly the same as being in Korea but it definitely helped us regain the memories of our trip there last year! Definitely would recommend going here :) 31-7-25 came back and it was once again great! Maybe even better than before!

The food was amazing, nice quantity, only reason to give 4 start out of 5 is, sometimes it was quite smoky as we were sitting inside and every table was doing barbecue and people were also couching because of the smoke.

This was my second time going to the Korea house, the food is awesome , very fresh We had bibimbab, fried chicken, BBQ(ribeye steak) , sushi and few starters and they were all just perfect If you want to sit on the tables outside you need to be there before 5 pm otherwise ull end up queing or sit inside Overall a great food , highly recommend it

Galbi-tang (갈비탕) was amazing. I was satisfied with everything, from the broth to the amount of meat. Since the meat pieces were quite large, it was a bit difficult to eat them. It would be nice if there were utensils provided to cut them.

Ordered the blue cheese burger. It is relatively reasonably priced and looked rather mundane at the very first glance but the quality of the meat was magnificent, the cheese complimented the other ingredients of the bother rather well. In all honesty, I could've don't with a other less of the burger sauces, which looked like ketchup and mayo. Emphasizing again on the meat, tremendous texture, a very very memorable meal. I had a burger of this standard probably three years ago. Very good job guys, keep it up!!!!

Decent burger, which leaves you satisfied! The quality of the meat is tremendous, and is looking for its peer. Texture, juicyness, flavor. Everything what you can expect from a real burger. The plating looks contemporary, as is the atmosphere and the style of the joint. Aside from burgers they serve homemade drinks and milkshakes. A must with fries. Good place to spent the evening!

Really good burgers. Nice place, good service and they care if it's good for you and ask about that. Waiter ask about how the meat should be grilled. Nice dessert, chocolate souffle was hot and tasty. Little small but for the price good. So if someone wants to eat really tasty burgers in Dusseldorf this is the good place.

Lunchtime burgers with friends. Very good quality meat, juicy and can order it to how you like it cooked (medium, well etc.). Plenty of options to choose from and caters for all eaters, special board also has an option or two to select. Friendly service as well and the burgers plus sides tasted very good. Give it a try!

Cozy, hip restaurant. Friendly staff. Can get busy, so reservation is recommended. Crunchy Mozzarella Sticks were crispy and hot served with a spicy mayo. The Chévre burger was outstanding. This is the first German restaurant to actually offer a temperature other than well done for a burger. I asked for medium and got something close to medium rare, which was a good thing. Burgers, like most German restaurants, are best eaten with a knife and fork. We highly recommend this place.

We walked into Stappen and were warmly welcomed into a modern yet comfortable dining area. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, which set the tone for a lovely evening. I started with the Lachs mit knusprigen Reibekuchen, which was so delicious that I only remembered to take a photo after it was already half gone—always a good sign! For the main course, I had the schnitzel, which didn’t disappoint. My wife chose the Lammkarree, but it arrived a bit undercooked for our liking. We sent it back for a little more time on the grill, and it came back just right—no issues there (photo attached shows the “before” version). I would’ve given Stappen 4.5 out of 5, but that slightly undercooked lamb left a small mark on an otherwise great meal. Overall, I’d still recommend this restaurant for a special night out.

Sadly didnt enjoy the visit. Half our group was vegetarian and was thoroughly unimpressed. First of all the selection is very narrow. We had one of each of their veggy options and they were both just okay. Our meat eating counterparts were also just okay with their meal. Because of the price:taste ratio we would not return. Service and atmosphere is great, so if you are going for the place and not the food this might do.

Excellent place serving mostly traditional German food. Service was fast and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food arrived quickly — fresh and delicious. They offer some customization options. For example, I was able to upgrade the “Rote Bete Salat” starter to a main dish for a larger portion. The menu changes regularly and includes seasonal specials for occasions like summer or Easter. There’s a good variety, including fish, meat, and vegetarian options. They also offer a complimentary soup from the chef. Both card and cash payments are accepted. The only downside is that during summer, the sun shines directly into the restaurant and there’s no air conditioning or fans, so it can get quite warm inside. Their menu changes by season, so I’d recommend checking the latest in their website.

Cozy atmosphere, fantastic service, excellent food. We were a group of 8 and had the ravioli, liver, steak, fish, and goose, and all were extremely happy. Sophie was a wonderful host with superb recommendations.

This is maybe the best restaurant in Düsseldorf. Excelling kitchen, stellar service- for vegans as well! A home away from home, not even kidding.

The Rocaille definitely has a lot of charm and is a very nice location to spend a long, tasteful Saturday night at. Staff is friendly and attentive but could know a few more things about the menu / wine list. Unfortunately, the food and wine availability is what pulls this place a little bit. It is said to have the largest wine menu but most of the bottles are not available when requested. The food is okay but nothing exceptional and does not fully hold true on the French concept. All in all, would go again if the instance occurs but wouldn’t actively seek out

The atmosphere is great & drinking mainly magnum bottles is certainly CO2 conscious. The starter was amazing, as was the Beef Bulgogi my partner had (we saw a Korean cook in the kitchen, maybe that’s why). My curry ended up having mushrooms (maybe because of the Asian cook, they like to add it to all dishes as a bonus without asking) in it that don’t belong in a curry and I have a mushroom allergy. Luckily I noticed it very early. The one spoon I did have was a bit tasteless for a curry (and didn’t have a great night tossing & turning because of the mushrooms - luckily only minor effect with one spoon). Maybe only put curry on the menu if you have an Indian Cook as well… the dessert was not very inspiring or tasty. A simple apology would have been okay, but for the host to make a serious allergy into the running gag of the rest of the evening was really not called for. It could have turned out much worse for me.

I went to this place for afternoon snack. the restaurant was so amazing that i would definitely try it for main-course in the coming future. (Will try to update you guys) Food, dessert, and coffee was amazing; as well as the ambience. One my forever favorite places in Düsseldorf with which I have love-hate relationships: depending on the day you visit and food you order it is either amazing or disappointing. They have also become a bit overpriced. The time it was love: delicious plate with a variety of French cheeses and sausage with potatoes and vegetables. Our waitress was a new blond girl and she was very friendly. BTW - the desserts are always amazing and their macarons are definitely the best in Düsseldorf and they have very nice coffee too.

They have Michelin star and it’s very good atmosphere. They offer many various high quality wine. All staff are all kind. The price level seem to be higher than average in Dusseldorf.But it is worthy going to this place.

We made a reservation and we were offered a menu combination which we didn't confirm because it was way to expensive, especially because nonn of us drink wine (85€). Once we arrived, we were obligated to take the menu, i.e. we were not allowed to order alla cart because we were 9 people. After a heated discussion with the boss, we agreed to a menu at a lower price without the wine. After two and a half hours we had been served only the appetizers! I have two kids at home and I would have liked to leave at that point, but it was like a hostage situation, I couldn't leave because we were obligated to pay for the menu experience. Ober 50€ for just the appetizers seemed a bit too much. Long story short, after 4 hours we got to desert. And the food wasn't even that good. Too salty, too spicy, the desert waaaaay too swet. Very little vegetarian alternatives, no vegan. Three stars for the esthetics and quantities.

I asked for a heavy cocktail. They brought me a cocktail which not only not heavy was but they charged extra ( for the extra alcohol). The salad was good . But anyway it is not a place for me to visit again

Nice for breakfast or brunch meets with friends and/ or family. Quality of food is good and I can recommend pancakes here - at least that’s what I had and it was really good. Service was good but it was very hectic and bus that day so you could tell they were stressed and were not the friendliest. But overall a good experience. If it is busy some tables are really close to each other so the seating is very crammed.

A relatively nice place to try. I was recommended by a friend to try Löffelbar, and the food was ok. Ordered the egg Benedict and a set called Hägar, Hägar was better due to the variety of food in it. Benidit was ok, but cannot rank top 5 at my list. The service lady was nice but maybe too busy and took some time to order. If you come at weekend, better to reserve beforehand since it can get very crowded.

I was just passing by through this Bar and loved the various tables places outside the Bar. It looks good, also I passed by during day time. Though I have seen it busy and full, especially during evening times and weekends.

The breakfast here was made really well. Lots of taste and flavour. Poached eggs were made just right. I got the Eggs Benedict salmon and friends got the Eggs Benedict avocado - we all had a positive review of the food. The coffee was also fantastic.

If you are into MSG and Maggi, its your Place to be. You literally smell it down the whole street. If you want your food to taste like it is and spiced well, you have to find a different place.

I have been to Soba-An more than 5 times in the past one year. It is my must-visit restaurant in Düsseldorf. The food is simple but delicious! The waitress and waiters are professional and friendly. They have different lunch set menu during weekdays with very good deal.

Legit soba (and all the appetizers too!) Made reservation for 7:30 pm for 2 persons. The host let us in exactly on time (no need to show up earlier since they were quite packed). Ordered 3 appetizers: tuna tataki, vegetables tempura, and the eggplant coated with miso paste. The food came out so fast and yummy! We tried both cold soba and warm soba. Safe to say, both are delicious and we can’t wait to return. Bonus point for those who love cold non-sweet tea, try their buckwheat tea! Sublime!

Very delicious Soba!! So well made and service was very friendly as well! I had the tempura don together with the soba and it was just soooooo good!! I also tasted some of the unagi don from my travel buddies and that one was really delicious too, must go here again! 11/10 heerlie de peerlie

Soba-An is probably the most interesting place we’ve eaten recently. We came through a recommendation, and ate the cold soba noodles. you dip them in some sort of a soy-sauce (apologies, I dont have a better way to describe it) and they are so so delicious. It was a hot day and the cold soba noodles combined with the soy sauce was impeccable. They come with fried tempura coated vegetables. Aubregine etc. All unique. Prices are on the high-end compared to what you get, but for quality products and presentation, that’s something worth trying if you never dipped cold noodles in a sauce before. A unique dining experience.

I have ordered tempura, unagi und soba set. I was not expected so much for unagi but it was really good as same as in Japan. Everything was tasty. Only if I have to write Negativ things, the distance each table is very small. You really can not speak with your friends there. You have to eat quickly and leave. Also has to be good user of chopsticks. Their chopsticks were made of plastic and it was not easy to pick the noodles😅

Very nice atmosphere, buzzy and busy neighbourhood place. I really can’t agree with the food ratings, the stracciatella was more like cottage cheese and the carbonara sauce lacked depth and seemed too cheesy, should be more eggy. The pancetta was what saved it, nice and crispy and was where the flavour was. The service was excellent, friendly and accommodating.

I love this place. The food is always so good and honestly the chocolate cake is the reason I come back over and over again. The service is also very polite and quick. The only think I don’t enjoy is the atmosphere. It is not very cozy and welcoming, especially with the tent outside. It feels like locked in a dark room without windows. But overall it’s worth it for the food. In the summer it is very enjoyable sitting outside.

We really enjoyed our evening at Em Brass. We tried the watermelon with feta and ceviche as starters, the fussiloni pasta, argentinian entrecote and grilled octopus arm. The entrecote was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the octopus was a little bit too salty for our taste. I loved the fussiloni but the other people at the table didn't. The noodles are super fresh and delicious, we all agreed about that. The ceviche could've used more citrus for our taste, it didn't have enough lime juice. The watermelon salad was tasty but 15€ is an outrageous price for a slice of watermelon, in my opinion. Overall, the prices are fair but some dishes are a bit too pricy in my opinion. We would gladly come back though as the menu rotates and I'm sure there are some future dishes worth trying!

The best restaurant in Düsseldorf I have been to in my 3 night stay here. Great staff, amazing wine recommendations with the food; and just very cozy and friendly/family like atmosphere.

This is the best italian restaurant i have been to in a very very long time!! We arrived after they closed the kitchen but they were very very kind and let us order anyway. As for the food….i have no words, everything was superlative!! Definetly recommend ordering the truffle pasta!! They are out of this world. Very very delicious.

Good food but the worst service I experienced in a long time - seems like most of the waiters know a lot of guests which they prefer to serve first. I wasn’t asked once during the evening if I would like another drink - besides that I ordered a new glass of wine for my main dish and the guy forgot about it, the waiter who should have taken care about this, decided to smoke a cigarette instead….when they cleaned up the table they asked if everything was fine and I point it out BUT they didn’t even apologized. Nevertheless they offer a broad range of bottled wine, also natural ones which I really enjoyed but unfortunately the service kills it for me…if you don’t care some much about service then feel free to take a seat and enjoy the delicious dishes which are definitely worth a try.

I visited Em Brass the first time and gad high expectations. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is great. Small,cozy, friendly and personal. The service was welcoming and courteous. We had different starters which were all great! I can definitely recommend the ceviche. As a main I had the octopus with risotto - it was delicious! The others had truffle pasta with meat. The pasta was not well seasoned and some salt was missing. Also the combination of truffle oil and truffles was a bit too much truffle :D therefore one star less. The meat was great. I would definitely come back to try the other mains on the card and can definitely recommend a visit.

The staff is extremely kind, and eating alone here is actually quite fun! The bar overlooks the kitchen through a glass wall, and you can watch the staff prepare everything. The food is delicious as well, I recommend getting the Ohitashi on the side- it’s the blanched spinach with sesame sauce served cold, and I could probably eat five whole portions.

The food was great, good ramen and karaage. HOWEVER, there are fruit flies EVERYWHERE!! It was in my food, flying around the table, and even on the soy sauce/chili bottle on the table for guests to use (last picture for proof). The food quality is great, can’t lie about it I will come back but if it’s still dirty, I will leave for sure! Service was ok, 3/5.

The food is delicious, very authentic Japanese ramen! We came here 2 consecutive days during our trip to Dusseldolf. The queue was long though, but it’s worth the wait!

At first we had little trouble about language barrier with staff but I like the dishes. The meals were came very fast and the staff was very cheerful. In the menu there is also English explanations. I tried an interesting soup I really recommend it.

The soup isn’t too salty — perfectly seasoned and very rich in flavor. The noodles are chewy and springy. The food came out quickly, and the portion size was just right. This was my first meal in Düsseldorf, and it’s truly authentic Japanese ramen!

We had 2 vegan ramen dishes. The waiter was very pleasant as he explained from the start that they make all noodles in the same machine to warn us about possible cross contamination with non vegan ingredients. Over all the ramen tasted amazing and it was worth the wait. Highly recommend place.

Good food, and very good service. Went there for lunch. Out of curiosity, I opted to try the snail; the famous France snail😁. It tastes fine, the texture is a little like organ meat, but I wouldn’t call it a delicacy. For the main course, I had the beef and the potato. It’s enjoyable and enjoyed. During the entire process, the staff there were very tentative and helpful. They definitely put a nice touch on the dining experience. A recommendation from me, and can see myself going back in the future

I went at lunchtime. The foie gras and fig sauce was delicious. The shrimp risotto on the daily menu is also very satisfying with its rich taste. The coffee eclair was delicious and not too sweet!

I love this place both for atmosphere and food. It was tradition during my teens to come here as a day trip with my dad (I am 30 now). We are both from the Netherlands. We have been to Japan. This is truly an outstanding fam restaurant and super authentic as well

Very authentic food, even some vegetarian options for ramen and incredibily friendly staff. We left a 20 percent tip because it was so good.

Went here a couple times a while before and decided to give it another try. As I had in mind, unfortunately, it didnt change my previous experience. This place specialises in chicken broth and chicken, so its not as flavourful as a pork or beef broth. Its more light and honestly rather tasteless. There are different option for the ramen, spicy, veggie, miso, shio or shoyo. I tried most of them, and they are rather salty and bland. Its just missing the indepth flavour ramen has. Some people like it this way though as I can understand that ramen is rather fatty and oily. The noodles however are chewy and perfect in texture. The really good dishes are the soupless ramen that you have to mix. It has a burst of flavours that makes you crave for more. This time i ordered a tsukumen, dipping ramen, and unfortunately the soup wasnt that great, it was also rather fatty but bland. The chicken pieces werent appetising as well, they were, however, quite tender. The service was really nice, especially one of the waiters is fun and chatty. The place wasnt too big or too small. However, wont be coming back anymore. There are better options for ramen.

this restaurant is a must stop place for me whenever i'm in düsseldorf, and that's coming from someone who usually isn't the biggest soup fan their vegetarian selection is small but always delicious, they will gladly accommodate you if you want to leave something out of your dish (bell peppers in my case) and everyone who works here is so incredibly kind!! i always feel extremely welcomed and have enjoyed every single meal i've had at this place, thank you so much for always giving 100% :)

I ordered the Jumbo-sized Akihabara ramen special miso, and it was absolutely worth the 19/20 euros. The atmosphere was great and quieter than usual restaurants, which I really liked. The waiters were very kind and friendly; in the evening you have to wait a bit longer to get in and get your food, but at noon you’ll almost get it instantly. The food was also pretty practical for my dog, who was very tired because he didn’t eat. I gave him some chicken meat and soup and he enjoyed it.

It’s not the best Ramen I had but the waiter is sooooo kind with a wonderful energy that I’d definitely recommend it and come back! There are various vegetarian and vegan options. Small place with bar options if you’d like to eat on a shared table. The menu is clear with images for those who aren’t familiar with the Japanese cuisine. If you are visiting Dusseldorf, this place is a must visit for having ramen. We tried a ramen with soup and the other without, both were equally good. Would love to try other versions of the broth next time.

We’ve been living in Flingern Nord for 10 years and recently had a chance to visit Bistro Fatal. We started with appetizers—open Ravioli, Mushroom Ravioli, and Blumenkohl—but were disappointed with the main dish, steak frites. It was served cold and too rare; I usually prefer medium-rare. We also expected thin French fries but got thicker Holland-style fries, which were underwhelming. The dessert Crêpes Souzette was so so. Overall, we were slightly disappointed, especially given our high expectations. I love and support local businesses in Flingern, so please consider this feedback constructively. Best, Begüm

I was generally satisfied with the food, but I found the menu selection disappointing. The steak with fries was at €43. Waiting time was extremely long although service was friendly. The wine was overpriced, and the atmosphere felt more like a casual "bistro" than a fine dining restaurant. Overall, the price–quality ratio is, in my opinion, far from favorable.

Won’t recommend it or visit here again after last visit. Since I found in my noodles a plastic thread and there was a very casual and cold behaviour by restaurant as if it’s normal and you can continue eating it’s nothing. All in all taste is okay but of no use when such incidents happen but services are not good.

I visited this restaurant 20 years ago when it was an indo-china restaurant and it was better then. The Pho i had (Sat midday, beef) was good and I would have it again but this restaurant is lacking some 'spice' in the style department. My partner ate a vegetarian curry which was also nice, but not over exciting. Given the quality of asian food in Düsseldorf in general, this place is going to need to up it's game.

The food was spot on as well as the service and the atmosphere. However, I think it's more European food with a few French dishes. For a french restaurant I'd have expected larger choice of very traditional french food. Though, don't get me wrong it's really nice and would go again.

We came here for a birthday party. The food was delicious, especially Tataki and cod fish, baguette was fresh and soft. Our kids loved it so much! And the atmosphere was quite relax with live music!

Amazing food, service and place!

We visited Bernstein for a business lunch and ordered various different lunch specials: parpadelle with beef ragout, goat cheese with pears and pumpkin (salad) and Mediterranean fish soup with vegetables. Everyone was delighted with their dish. It took a bit longer than usual for the dishes to arrive as they were all freshly cooked, but didn't mind. The atmosphere is quite hip with electronic music playing in the background, 1 large table shared with other customers and some 4 smaller tables if you prefer a more discrete setting. The non alcoholic beverage alternatives are also quite vast compared to many other restaurants. The restaurant attracts a yuppie crowd and is located in the famous Loretto neighborhood, known for design shops, designer textiles, cafés and restaurants, none belonging to any chains.

Breakfast for 2, 30 euros not worthed - amount of food small 2 slices of jamon, 4 slices of salami (store bought one), 2 slices of cheese (one type) and 4 small slices of another type. Eggs were completely done wrong. Quality of the Breakfast ingredients low. Coffee was good. All in all 2/5.

Service was extremely slow (60+ minutes wait for 1 croissant and one sandwich) while the establishment was not even half full. One order was also missed in the end.

It is great! The sandwich and the bread and the sauces are the tastiest things that I’ve recently eaten. The only thing may be the togetherness is a but problematic. You only reach for the sauce when the sandwich is almost done. Service is super fast but it is hard to find a place. We took it and ate it by the river which was great.

I’ve been a long-time fan of this place, but my recent visit left me very disappointed. If I judged only today’s experience, it would be 1 star. However, since I’ve had five excellent visits in the past, I’m giving 4 stars overall. The store felt noticeably unclean. The food quality has declined, and the kitchen window was greasy, making it unappealing to watch the grilling — something I used to enjoy. As others have mentioned, the taste has changed. My food came out in under a minute, clearly reheated, not freshly cooked. A major issue was the pigeons. Food scraps were on the ground, and pigeons kept swarming around my feet. It was uncomfortable and made me leave half my meal uneaten. I understand operational challenges, but the recent increase in negative reviews is concerning. I write this out of genuine care — I want this place to return to the great quality it once had. I suggest the owner visit during busy hours as a regular customer. What I observed: ・Slippery, greasy floor ・Unclean kitchen area ・Pigeons everywhere ・Blue industrial trash bags in open bins It didn’t feel like a hygienic place to eat. A full-day deep cleaning may be needed, especially considering raw meat is handled here.

Ordering can definitely be a bit chaotic since it’s right in the heart of the market, but the steak sandwich makes it all worth it. I wouldn’t call it pricey either, given the quality and generous amount of meat you get ( Klassik Flap 9.99€ )

Great burgers! Great selections of steaks! To be honest the prices are also good.. Burgers grilled with fresh raw meat on the grill just the way you like it. I will definitely come back and make this my regular burger spot. Staff is also super cool.

The service and vibe of restaurant were good, but for a burger restaurant they could offer better burgers! The amount of burger was too small and bread was too soft. I prefer a little bit harder bread. Homemade lemonade was too sweet and they don’t have tap beer, just bottled beer! In addition, goat cheese salad does not have any special taste. It has just smell of goat cheese!

Possibly one of the best burgers I have ever had. The meat was cooked really well and tasted fresh not frozen. The bun was light and the burger was generously topped. The goats cheese burger was the perfect balance of sweet, salty and meaty and was a hefty portion with a side of chips. There are a variety of sauces to choose from too.

I loved that they have gluten free bun and the hamburger was great. The service was the highlight. We don’t speak German and the waiter was so kindly and friendly.

Nice burger, I had the 4K, sweet fries and a salad. Enjoyed the food. The cocktail was good as well! Superfast service!
