Beach
Playa de las Américas is a vibrant coastal resort district known for its lively nightclubs and beautiful sandy beaches offering various water sports. For those interested in exploring the culinary history of the Canary Islands, a visit to a restaurant at the luxury Villa Cortes hotel is a must. The renowned chef Diego Schattenhofer creates dishes that reflect the local cuisine, using ingredients sourced from specific locations on the island.
Lovely beach and surrounding areas, lots of shopping malls, some of which are underground, it can get busy with tourists and locals likewise when it’s a hot as everyone flocks to the beach. It’s pretty much catering for the English speaking traveller as lots of food places have familiar restaurants like Indian, Chinese, Italian as well as Spanish food, vegetarian isn’t catered for that well so it’s better to cook for yourself if you are vegetarian as fresh vegetables are in abundance.
Tahira R — Google review
Playa de Las Américas in Tenerife is the perfect spot for sun, fun, and relaxation! The beaches are beautiful with black sand and clear water, great for swimming or just chilling out. There’s a lively vibe with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops all around. It’s super tourist-friendly and always full of energy. Whether you’re into beach days or nightlife, this place has it all. A great holiday destination you’ll want to come back to!
Patrick T — Google review
Nice for for a walk with plenty of shops nearby. We didn't go on the beach as not into it personally. There were surfers near by in the wavy bits of the sea. Great opportunities to see and take pictures of a sunset. I took some near the surfing area
Parmjit K — Google review
Nice place to visit plenty of places to eat and drink and a few shops too

A Geologist’s paradise! I did stargazing and a general coach trip, both up Mount Tiede, and they were amazing experiences. Sky tours (or similar) do FREE photos whereas ALL other operators charge for sunset photos and the like.

Love Las Americas. Always something going on. Always busy with people and a great atmosphere.
Niki — Google review
Playa de las Américas Review Playa de las Américas feels like a second home, with an inviting atmosphere and a vibrant surf scene. The beach offers amazing waves for both beginners and advanced surfers, making it a perfect spot for all skill levels. With beautiful people all around, the fun continues off the beach at the numerous bars and restaurants featuring live music. Having visited three times in two years, I can confidently say it’s a fantastic destination for surf, sun, and good times!

Bodies of Water
Playa de Los Cristianos is a beloved beach in Tenerife, especially during the winter months. It offers safe swimming, loungers for rent, and a relaxed atmosphere. The beach is well-equipped with facilities and surrounded by restaurants and bars. While it may not have as vibrant nightlife as some other nearby beaches, it's perfect for those seeking a more laid-back experience.
Nice golden sand beach. There are plenty of sunbeds, but also lots of space if you want to lay down your own towel. Sunbeds are €3, and umbrellas are also €3. There are beach volley areas that you can play. Showers and toilets are available at the entrances. There are many tour companies around offering activities like diving, jet skiing, and whale/dolphin-watching boat tours. There are lots of restaurants, but they’re all quite touristy, so don’t expect to find any local food — mostly pizza, burgers, steak, pasta, and seafood. It’s smaller compared to Playa de las Vistas, which is just a 5-minute walk away
Eyüp K — Google review
Its golden sands and clear waters are appealing, but the presence of ferry harbors is a significant drawback. Additionally, it gets quite windy, which can spoil the atmosphere. Overall, it's an okay beach. However, the area around the beach offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options.
Highway V — Google review
As someone who has vacationed along all the Mediterranean coasts, I first want to mention that swimming in the ocean offers a completely different experience - with high waves and strong tides. While Los Cristianos is a charming town in Tenerife, unfortunately the beach isn't as clean as it could be due to the nearby port. There's also a general odor present, albeit mild, which I'm comparing to other beaches I've visited. For example, Las Vistas Beach or El Camisón are much more enjoyable - they're wider, more beautiful, and relatively cleaner. At the end of the day, I don't think anyone wants to swim in a bay where large cruise ships and car ferries are constantly coming and going. On the positive side, there are excellent beach volleyball courts available for those who want to play - they get wet from the waves which is great fun. One of the nice aspects of being in the town center is that you can easily shop at supermarkets for whatever you need. Additionally, there are dining options like McDonald's and Burger King in the surrounding area.
Ediz T — Google review
Playa de Los Cristianos is a long beach in the heart of one of Tenerife’s busiest resort towns. With soft pale sand and a gentle slope into the ocean, it’s especially popular with families and older travelers. The beach has earned the Blue Flag for its clean water, safety, and excellent services. Thanks to a breakwater, the ocean here is calm — no strong waves or currents — and lifeguards are on duty every day. MORE PLACES AND INFO ON WEB HONEST TENERIFE

Beautiful beach! Friendly for kids, as it has a smooth entrance in the water and there are no rocks. The sand is very soft, but it burns in the middle of the day. Never crowded and lots of stores and restaurants close by. Bathroom and showers are available
Alexandra C — Google review
Nice beach with a beautiful view, warm waters and easy to get into on a windy day. The prices are very good for sun beds and umbrella compared to the other beaches and it is good to have cash on you. In the afternoon, you should just shuffle your feet when swimming in deeper waters, as there are sting rays laying on the sandy bottom. We accidenty stepped on two of them and we were lucky they just swam away. If you swim near crowds, they will not come by.
Andreea I — Google review
Good location but a bit noisy and smokey due to the port nearby.
Kristóf B — Google review
Lovely beach with comfortable sunbeds and very reasonably priced 9euro for the day with umbrella. 3euro for one sunbed. Lots of bars and shops along the beach front. Roxanne's bar/ restaurant is a must for cocktails and food.

Playa del Camison is a popular man-made beach in the Playa de las Americas area of Tenerife. It is surrounded by palapas, palm trees, and rentable sun beds, making it a great spot for swimming and sunbathing. The beach is cozy and not overrun despite being a favorite among guests from nearby resorts.
Best beach in Los Cristianos area. Very beautiful scenery with palm backdrop.
Leo P — Google review
Nice and clean beach. You can lay forfree under the palms too. Quiet and no big vawes at all.
Rot G — Google review
El Camisón Beach is just as enjoyable as Las Vistas. It's a bit further from Los Cristianos, but because it's a smaller cove that opens wider to the ocean, it usually has much fewer waves. However, we were there several times and on one occasion, the waves covered the entire beach including the sunbeds and even the small bar at the back. For this reason, I recommend thinking twice about where you leave your belongings when going into the sea. It might be safer to leave your items on the green grassy areas under the palm trees, as the weather can change suddenly and the waves can rise unexpectedly, that's just my humble suggestion. You'll have a great time though! The sand is amazing and it gives you the feeling of swimming in a large pool. Enjoy!
Ediz T — Google review
My absolute fav beach of ones I've been at. Clear waters, not to deep as has rocks further out, some nice waves.
Wots4u — Google review
It's a nice, quiet beach, but not too large. The ocean water is calm and clean (October 2025). For this reason, I think it is also a good beach for children. There aren't any toilets, but there is a bar-restaurant nearby. Parking spots can be found up to 1.5 km away.
Serena O — Google review
Nice playa, super suggested for kids and family! Toilet on the seaside!
Gian B — Google review
We are fans of wild beaches, but out of all the commercial ones, this one is the best! Yellow sand, not as crowded as Duque, clear water… pure enjoyment 🫶
Zeljka — Google review
Playa del Camisón is a beautiful beach located in the resort area of Playa de las Américas. Known for its golden sands and clear, calm waters, it's an ideal spot for a relaxing beach day. The beachfront promenade is lined with palm trees and offers a pleasant walk with access to nearby shops, restaurants, and bars. The sunsets from this beach are stunning; we visited several evenings to watch the sunset, and it was incredibly peaceful.

Playa del Duque is a bustling beach area perfect for swimming and sunbathing, offering a resort-like atmosphere with its abundance of high-end accommodations. The beach features striped beach huts, loungers, and parasols against a backdrop of rugged cliffs, turquoise waters, and palm trees.
The beach is nice but sometimes are big waves, not suitable for families with small children, the sand is nice,2 sunbeds and an umbrella are 19.5E or you can take only 1 sunbed(6E),
Alin S — Google review
Very nice and clean beach with big waves and scenic views. There is a beautiful promenade to walk, with good restaurants and small local shops! Convenient parking underground. Small shopping mall. Beach has nice sand. Depending on weather waves can be very big. Good location for photoshoot
Maria L — Google review
We’ve been all around Tenerife and this is definitely our favourite beach. Plenty of space and seating available, 2 sun beds under the umbrella for €19,95 (and a 3rd for 6€ more). It gets relatively busy so good to get there earlier (10am) if you want a seat, if not there is plenty of space to set up on the sand. The beach is clean and the water is great, if you want to buy something from the beach sellers it’s good to have some cash.
Chris C — Google review
A beautiful beach, somewhat commercial, and often crowded with tourists. However, the beach itself has light sand and is clean. There's a shower at the light beach connecting to the dark beach, and free toilets are also available near the bar. The ocean was warm here, so we recommend it!
Maja W — Google review
Free beach with turquoise water. Yellow sand, black sand - everything that you would desire. It is possible to rent an umbrella for a fee or buy one on the spot. Great experience.
Nataliia K — Google review
One of my favorite beaches, golden sand, good entrance to the water, no big wave, there is a shower. If you dive, you can find all kinds of different fish at breakwaters!
Alex A — Google review
The beach was quite clean and spacious (October 2025). The sand is black and volcanic. There is a beautiful promenade above where you can walk, with restaurants and small shops. There were showers and toilets, but not everywhere.

Hiking area
Malpaís de La Rasca is a captivating natural area along the coastline, offering impressive views of the Teide, the highest peak in Spain. The landscape features petrified lava flows, pitons, and domes, creating an otherworldly and mysterious atmosphere. Visitors can embark on a beautiful hike along the coastline with easy-to-find parking and relatively simple trails. The area is home to El Faro De Punta Rasca lighthouse and provides a peaceful setting for walking or hiking.
We did a beautiful 4mile walk around this lovely area. We walked out to the lighthouse and then back along the coastal path. The higher path towards the light house is easy going under foot but peppered with dog faeces. The walk a,one the coat from the lighthouse back to Palm MR requires good shoes and a steady foot. Choose your time of day as there is no shade away from the lighthouse. The coast line is beautiful with a picture perfect moment around every bend. The walk took us just under 2hrs.
Deb L — Google review
The hike is good, except that in the start there are many dog poop. So you need to constantly watch your step :) otherwise great - especially before sunset. Good views
M A — Google review
Once you are 300 meters in the dog pooh can’t bother you anymore. There is a lot of dog pooh here. Too many people are too simplistic to care about it. It is a great area you should visit the waterfront but also the path that goes between the smaller hills. The surface of the path along the coast is sometimes difficult to walk on you will need to watch your step here.
MEAURIS — Google review
Beautiful place for a walk. We did a 5 mile loop around Roque de Rasca. Interesting deserty landscape. Very quiet.
Chris F — Google review
Beautiful walk along the coast ! Bring suncream cus there is literally no shade. A great flat walk to do
Ellz — Google review
It is a natural protected area along the coastline. There is a lighthouse, called El Faro De Punta Rasca. It's a precious area, to walk, run or hike.
Annabel A — Google review
Mysterious! Peaceful! If you go left you get to the lighthouse. If you go right you also get to the lighthouse. Finally all paths lead to the lighthouse. Enjoy your walk to the lighthouse! 👍

Beach of the Views, also known as Playa de las Vistas, is a popular man-made beach in the Playa de las Americas area of Tenerife. It offers calm, crystal-clear waters and brownish-grey sand, making it perfect for swimming and relaxation. The beach provides amenities such as changing rooms, rentable sunbeds, and adjacent restaurants. Additionally, it is accessible to all visitors with its facilities for disabled individuals.
beautiful sandy beach, a bit touristy but we went on a weekday and there is plenty of space for everyone. the beach is like 1-1,5 km long so you can enjoy a walk on the shoreline as the sea is calm. I also took a bath and it wasn’t too cold, the water is clean and i really enjoyed it!!
Martina G — Google review
Nice beach, nice water - but very crowded and many annoying people trying to sell stuff. Tenerife certainly has better beaches - more raw and beautiful. Still a good choice to go when you want to book sun chairs/lounges and have restaurants close by.
Natascha _ — Google review
Lovely, large beach which is always popular and busy but without feeling overcrowded, at least at this time of year (late October). We've had no problems getting sunbeds and the prices for hire - €4 each for the day - are reasonable. The water is generally fairly calm, or as calm as you're going to get with the Atlantic, and there's some fantastic snorkeling to be had around any of the artificial rock formations. There's a huge variety of fish there, that presumably most beachgoers are completely unaware of, and the shoals seem largely unfazed as you drift past watching them.
Morgan P — Google review
Playa Las Vistas turned out to be a wonderful beach that we truly enjoyed during our week-long vacation. First, I should mention that it's a very wide beach, it takes about 15 minutes to walk from one end to the other. While there are still tidal waves here, you'll experience fewer waves on the eastern side of the beach. The water is completely clear and the sand is fine, almost like Cleopatra sand. You can enjoy free showers, and most importantly. it's located very close to Los Cristianos, so it will probably be close to your hotels as well. You should definitely add this beach to your favorites rather than the beaches in the eastern Adeje region. It was the best one after visiting more than 10 different beaches.
Ediz T — Google review
The Beach of the Views in Tenerife is a beautiful and clean spot to relax and enjoy the sun. The water is clear, the sand is well-maintained, and overall, it’s a great place to spend the day. What brings the rating down slightly is the constant presence of people trying to sell things — massages, drinks, knockoff items, and other things you’re probably not interested in. It can get a bit annoying when you’re just trying to unwind. Still, if you can look past that, it’s definitely worth a visit for the clean beach and the overall chill vibe. Just be ready to say “no, gracias” quite a few times!
Anita J — Google review
Long, wide golden sand beach noticeably bigger compared to the Playa de Los Cristianos. It’s a great spot for a beach walk, as the coastline is longer and lined with more restaurants and shops. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available. You’ll also find showers and toilets at the entrances. As with most places in the area, the restaurants are quite touristy, so expect to see pizza, burgers, pasta, steak, and seafood on most menus rather than local dishes.
Eyüp K — Google review
Nice beach, good snorkelling. Ruined by the traders who relentlessly pester and pressure you to buy blankets. They are incredibly rude people who will casually insult you and your family. A real shame and put a cloud over our stay on the beach. Don’t buy things from them as you will only fuel the problem and these poor people will continue to be stuck in gangs and forced to sell.
Scott P — Google review
The beach is lined with numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops, offering plenty of options for dining and leisure. The promenade is perfect for a leisurely stroll, providing picturesque views of the ocean. Whether you're looking to relax by the water or enjoy some local cuisine, Las Vistas Beach has something for everyone.

Stretching over 500 meters with prestigious blue flag status for water quality and cleanliness, this golden sand beach stands out for its infrastructure and amenities. It is well-loved by both locals and tourists alike due to the good state of its waters and the lively atmosphere in the terrace areas.
Very nice beach with a lighter colour sand than others nearby. The area is very nice to get lunch and dinner. I would definitely return to this area on another visit in the future. It seems to be less party orientated and more suited to couples and families.
Amanda G — Google review
What can I say great beach with lots of bars, restaurant’s and shops. Something for everyone. Only negative are the street sellers but most are pleasant once you say “no thank you” the ones selling excursions seemed to be the most forceful.

Beaches
Playa de Torviscas is a popular beach located in the bustling resort area of Costa Adeje on the southwestern coast of Tenerife. It boasts golden sands, calm waters, and is well-protected from wind and waves by a large breakwater. The beach offers amenities such as loungers, umbrellas for rent, water sports, bars, and public restrooms. Visitors can enjoy swimming and sunbathing in its cozy and uncrowded atmosphere.
A beautiful, underrated beach. Playa de Torviscas is a decent sized beach, despite the large size it is often very busy; especially around 12-3pm. It is very difficult to find a sun bed around these times so if you would like them, I recommend coming as early as possible. The sand on the beach is grey/black. There is a lot of bars/restaurants/shops around the beach. Street vendors are often found here, and they are very pushy and sometimes won't leave you alone. The waves are usually pretty calm, depending on the wind levels. The first day we came it was impossible to swim because the wind was so prominent. But when there is less wind the water is pretty calm There are also bathrooms here, although they really aren't the best. The few times I went i found that there was no toilet paper, or it was dirty and they aren't very aesthetically pleasing visually if that matters to one. Watersport activities are also available here. I would say the beach is definitely worth paying a visit to and you could definitely spend a full day here.

Undoubtedly, this beach stands out as one of the most picturesque destinations, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets. The setting sun provides an exceptional backdrop for capturing stunning family photographs, with the sea’s vibrant hues serving as a picturesque backdrop.

Accessibility is great here. Special spot for any one that's disabled and the lifeguards have a special trike to help you into the sea if needed and a wooden walkway to get you most of the way there if you can walk. Public toilets are very close amd also an accessible toilet available. Beautiful black sand too. The water is clear and child friendly.

Very nice beach. Black thich sand that is perfectly suitable for running and walking. Compared to other small beaches around its best. Has a good and free public toilet. Surrounded by bars, restaurants, and a McDonalds, where you can always buy an ice cream for 1,3 Euros. 😀 also a popular spot for watching sunrise and sunset

Lots of shops and restaurants. Lots to do either on land or sea, go on the boats or play on the inflatables. Rent motorbikes or jetskis, beach is nice as sand is lighter in colour.

We had ginger goat cheese and crazy burrata salad to start, bread with aioli oil, pasta and potato stuffed with chicken, caramelized onions, tomatoes and an amazing cream sauce. I saw some speciality drinks coming out and they looked amazing also! The price was super reasonable! Do yourself a favor and make the trip! We hope to go back before we leave to go home!

Beautiful and cozy place! 🥰 With separate space for drinks and meals which makes it even nicer! The waiter really kind and the food very tasteful and original food! Everything perfect, we will repite soon since we’re looking forward to trying many more things from the menu!

After reading the reviews of this new place decided to visit late afternoon. Have to say the food was gorgeous and the service was great and with a smile. Had the best veggie burger I’ve ever tasted. The decor was lovely and a great way to end our holiday and we’ll be back next time. Take yourself there and support a new business with a unique menu and vibe.

Take a small detour from the tourist traps and visit this local gem with an interesting and very reasonable priced menu. We had a bunch of starters and smaller dishes to share to get around all the tempting flavours and the best cava sangria and lemonades for the kids. The area is not interesting but the place certainly is.

Playas de Troya, located in the Playa de las Americas tourist area of Tenerife, consists of two beaches - Troya and Troya l. The 650m long and 20m wide dark volcanic sand beach offers loungers, straw parasols, and stunning sunset views. Known for its safety and cleanliness, it is a popular spot for families with children to enjoy the crystal clear ocean.
A beach with dirty yellow, already gray volcanic sand, but fine and quite pleasant. It is not rough gravel or coarse sand. The breakwaters here create smaller beaches, but with a view to the west, so it is ideal for sunsets here and romantic evenings. During the day, with good visibility, you can see La Gomera.

It is always crowded. So keep an eye out on your stuff. We always took only card from our hotel room. No phones, no wallets. We wanted to see something interesting with the masks but we were disappointed. Almost no ocean creatures and lots of rubbish.
Vasily G — Google review
Beautiful beach. Lots of people but plenty of space. Around the rocks on the left hand side the water is really clear for snorkelling.
Simon K — Google review
Here you find life. Instead of boring small beaches or rocky beaches. You have two options the quiet beach at the right or the beach with fun waves in the middle. I didn't try the left one. I tried other beaches but noooo. Next time I will go back to this smooth sandy wide beach with the same hotel behind it.
Nona H — Google review
Not that good. Is always windy and that beautiful. The side walk is good but i think is better during the night. Suggest to check playa de la dunque instead the place and atmosphere is 100% better. The beach sell are very loud and you should always keep an eye in your personal things.

One of the most practical beaches arround the area. The beach is sandy, you have bars and restaurants available in the area with decent prices. Very popular with tourists, so if you like a quiet beach, this is not for you. But dor a quick dip in the sea, it is good. Parking places are available in the area, so it tales max 5 minutes to walk down here.

The beach's tranquil ambiance allows visitors to unwind while enjoying stunning ocean views.
We enjoyed this beach because it doesn't have big waves, the rocks stop them. The underground parking is amazing, walking out of it you are right on the beach. But be careful with your things, we heard people got their belongings stolen while they were swimming.

Warm silent beach without waves. Lot of rocks in sea, which is not too pleasant when you entering the water.

Beautiful beach with clear and tranquil waters. There is a bar where you an get reasonable priced and very nice drinks (cocktails are €6 and a pint of Estrella is €2.5). 2 sunlonger and umbrella are €12. The three stars are because there are no toilets on the beach, but there is the usual shower. Plenty vendors with donuts, drinks and sunglasses too !

I read that the duck pancakes were worth travelling for- and around here any ‘travel’ means tackling hills that feel like mountains!! So we walked 15 mins downhill to find this gem tucked up on the front with a spectacular view. They don’t disappoint! This is authentic food. The pancakes were pancakes (not flour disks that dry and break) the sauce was home made, and the duck cooked by someone who knows how to roast a duck! The best duck pancakes I have ever eaten- and I’ve eaten plenty. Sadly, my eyes were bigger than my belly so I am taking home 1/2 the wet menu as it beat us in the heat- but it was great Chinese food done properly. Lovely staff who were attentive without being pushy. If you are in the area- find them- you won’t be disappointed you choose Chinese whilst in Tenerife!

⭐ 4/5 – Great Beach with a Few Limitations Playa de El Bobo is a lovely beach—clean, easy to access, and great for a relaxed day by the sea. Sunbeds and parasols are available for €6, and the natural rock wave breaker makes the water calmer and safer for swimming. But rocks under foot at places sea shoes recommend There are a few “lookie lookie” men walking around selling food, drinks, and towels, but they’re not pushy or harassing—just doing their thing. There’s no public toilet facility, which is a bit of a downside, but there is a small café stand nearby selling drinks and light refreshments. A solid beach option if you’re staying near the strip

Playa De Los Tarajales is a basic urban beach with a mix of sand, pebbles, and rocks. It's backed by a walking path and offers a nice view of Los Cristianos Porte and the beautiful Canary Island La Gomera. The town of Los Cristianos has a rich history and is home to great restaurants, bars, and beaches.
A beautiful beach located in the heart of Los Cristianos. You can hire a sun bed from €3 and a set of 2 sun beds and a parasol is only €9. On the beach there is a great view of the Harbour and you can watch the ferries come and go. There is a free WC on the beach and there is an area suitable for people in wheelchairs. There are shops along the promenade as well as some bars and restaurants. For me this is a great beach. ⛱️

Here It Is Playa De Los Tarajales in Los Cristianos, Tenerife. About Los Cristianos: Los Cristianos, located on the southern coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, has a fascinating history and geography: History -Early References: The first historical mention of Los Cristianos dates back to the 16th century, when it was described as a harbor. -Pirate Raids: For centuries, the area faced threats from pirates, which hindered its development until the 19th century. -Industrial Growth: In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Los Cristianos began to thrive as an import-export hub, with industries like fish salting, resin production, and agriculture (notably bananas and tomatoes). -Tourism Boom: The mid-20th century saw a shift from industry to tourism, transforming Los Cristianos into one of Tenerife's most popular destinations. Geography -Location: Nestled between Montaña Chayofita and Montaña de Guaza, Los Cristianos is situated along a natural bay. -Beaches: The town boasts two main beaches—Playa de Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Vistas—known for their golden sands and calm waters. Its harbor is a key transportation hub, connecting Tenerife to nearby islands like La Gomera, El Hierro, and La Palma.

Very nice sunset with the view of Los Cristianos Porte and amazing view to the one of the beautiful Canary Islands La Gomera. Around here can more beautiful beaches can be visited. Playa Amarilla is a small beach in Tenerife known for its black volcanic stones and rocky cove, making it a popular spot for snorkeling. Despite the lack of sandy shores, the beach is renowned for its unique rock formations shaped by the water and waves over time, declared a natural monument. Visitors can sunbathe on the rocky outcrops or swim in the clear and calm waters while admiring the beauty of Montana Amarilla volcano nearby.
stunning beach surrounded by beautiful yellowish rock formations, perfect for taking pictures. the path to get to the place where i took my pics is a bit tricky as you have to walk on big rocks so don’t be like me and wear appropriate footwear :) but don’t go there just for the picture, there you can lay your towel and sunbathe and enjoy a beautiful view on the waves
Martina G — Google review
Nice rock beach. In rock there are many places where you can stay. But it is a bit harder to get there, sometimes you have to climbe a little bit. The water is full of fish, perfect for snorkeling 😊 But I highly recommend to have some shoes to the water. 😉
Dominik J — Google review
For us, it was hands down the best Tenerife beach. It's not much of a beach, really. There are some rocks and giant oval stones where you have to pay attention when descending to and getting out of the water, especially at high tide. But the scenery, caves, and looks of Montaña Amarilla, and above all, the plethora of sea life, make this small place truly outstanding.
Krzysztof N — Google review
The rock beach was scenic but not very enjoyable for relaxing. Walking barefoot was uncomfortable, and swimming was tricky with the sharp stones. It’s better suited for a short stroll and photos than for spending a full day. Pretty views, but overall not the most fun experience.

Montaña Amarilla is a natural monument on the south coast of Tenerife, known for its yellow-black volcanic cliffs, sculpted by erosion and waves.
