A Hidden Gem on the Gulf Coast Opal Beach is an absolute treasure. Nestled within the Gulf Islands National Seashore, this beach offers a serene escape from the more crowded spots nearby. The sugar-white sands and crystal-clear waters create a picturesque setting that's perfect for relaxation. One of the standout features is the ample space—it's easy to find a quiet spot to set up and enjoy the natural beauty without feeling crowded. The facilities are well-maintained, including clean restrooms, outdoor showers, and covered picnic areas, making it convenient for families and groups. Accessing Opal Beach requires a small entrance fee, but it's well worth it for the pristine environment and amenities provided. My “go to” spot! Clean, safe, white sand, turquoise water and rarely crowded. It’s off the beaten path as it’s part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Make sure you have what you need before heading here; no shops or restaurants.

Nice park. I used my National Park pass to get on for free and enjoyed the well-kept beaches and the bathrooms.

Awesome beach. Cover charge should be reduced however. Nice pavilions, and amazing views.

Awesome location to come and enjoy the Emerald Water. Calm and quiet place to enjoy the beach. 100% worth the $25 for a 7 day pass. We came twice to spend the day with the white sand and great atmosphere.

Must be timing....went mid July. Ugly slimy seaweed beach. So much seaweed. And it costs $25 to get in. Sand was very soft. One bathroom had overflowing toilet. Drove over to Ft. Walton beach for dinner and sunset and beach was much better there. I won't come back or recommend.
Marie L — Google review
It’s the most beautiful beach’s with white sand, crystal blue waters and accessible to bathrooms nearby.

Gulf Islands National Seashore is a must-visit destination in Pensacola Beach, offering over 50 miles of protected coastline along the Gulf and bay. Visitors can explore untouched beaches, witness trees shaped by coastal winds, and discover the historic Fort Pickens at the island's western tip. The area also features Fort Barrancas, an important site from the American Civil War era.
When you watch to the watertower at Pensacola beach and go right for about 20(?) minutes by car you will reach the national seashore! Nice dunes! Nature! Very white beaches! If you pay entry ( America the beautiful is accepted) you can park car on hard ground and have Restroom, Shadow seats… Jogging was to hard for me because the sand directly at the water was to deep… but a junger man was 🏃‍♂️😀 Never park your car side of street in the sand!!! We saw lot of cars needed a towing truck to come out of the sand!!!
Max M — Google review
This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in our country. The white, white sugar sand, the dunes with the native plants protecting the native wildlife, is simply breathtaking. The water is pristinely clear, with turquoise/ azure gradations. I appreciated the fact that the beach was not overcrowded. I would have loved to spend much more time there. It is a natural spot, so there are no restrooms immediately available, so that is something to consider.
Sheila O — Google review
Gorgeous!! Not nearly as crowded as the local city beaches and very well maintained. It’s part of the National Park system so it has nice facilities. There is a fee but it is worth it for the cleanliness, restrooms and showers.
Roamer222 — Google review
You will find sparkling blue waters and beautiful beaches along 150-mile stretch of pristine seashore. Whether you’re shelling, swimming, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the breathtaking scenery, Gulf Islands National Seashore is a nature lover’s paradise. ☀️🐚🌊

I guess more patrols need to be added out here from the sheriffs office, third time in three weeks. People had their pets on the beach and refused to get off the beach when approached. That combination with the trash that is accumulating on the beach from people thateither are very forgetful or just don’t give a darn.
Lqsi12 — Google review
Wow! This location is beach lovers heaven. The cleanliness of the water and beaches absolutely beautiful. We were here on a Saturday in July the weather to the north was stormy but on the island it was cloudy. It made a perfect time to visit without the intense heat. It has many spots to just pull into for a more private setting or more public areas to park in a parking lot with amenities a fee is charged in some spots. Beautiful place to visit. If you wanna be away from it all this is the place. No houses condos and large crowds.
P.J. S — Google review
Gulf Islands National Seashore is a great place to visit! I have now been to both the Mississippi and Florida locations in which both are beautiful in their own way. The Davis Bayou Area of GINS boasts flourishing swamp ecosystems while the Florida area provided visitors with history on top of gorgeous beaches and marine ecosystems! The NPS runs each facility in the best way possible and cannot wait for my next visit!
Jayden — Google review
We stopped here mid-April on a Thursday afternoon and it was beautiful and sleepy. The water was beautiful but a bit chilly. If we’d had more time we would’ve went swimming. But the water was choppy-yellow flag. We visited 2 weeks ago and it was windy and the water cool. But it’s still one of the most beautiful and quite beaches along the Florida coast imo. And we drioe the whole way down to key west! Must less touristy that Destin.

Quietwater Beach in Pensacola Beach is a serene and tranquil destination known for its gentle waves and soft, powdery sand. It's a popular spot for low-key water activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming due to its calm waters. Nestled near Pensacola's boardwalk, the beach offers a peaceful atmosphere with occasional events like live concerts or art walks. Visitors can enjoy the scenic boardwalk and nearby amenities such as dining options and the Pensacola Bay Ferry.
Had a visit during the week and also on the weekend. It's very family friendly. Lots of shops restaurants and photo opportunities. A wonderful pier to walk down and also swimming areas. Water is not deep at all for the most part. Night life is beautiful and easy to park. Daytime the parking is difficult but there is so much life. Make new friends, meet new people. I'm not sure what happened to my pictures from the daytime but will post when I find them. It's a stop you should make if in the area

This place is awesome great place to bring the kids I have been coming here for years maybe 57 years a long time I definitely recommend this place
Bradley E — Google review
This is a terrible, horrible, very bad no good place. You definitely shouldn’t ever go here, just leave it empty for me and the wife. It’s all sandy and serene with gently lapping water. I mean gross right? Sometimes you even are subjected to seeing dolphins which serves no real porpoise at all. Worse than that you can even have mimosas with your feet in the water while enjoying the sun. Trust me and stay away, if you do show up though clean up after yourself, pack in pack out.
Jrock — Google review
Nice place good restaurant and picture opportunities parking is night mare if you're staying local rent a bike or have your hotel golf cart escort you to and from...

The perfect family friendly place to be! Beautiful calm beach making it the best place to float. Tiki bar up the beach, restaurants, ice cream, boardwalk shops and so much more. We locked up our ebikes on their bike racks and enjoyed the whole day.

I'm from Louisiana. My wife and I love to come here and visit! We've been several times. Beautiful family friendly beach, with lots of fun things to do...👌

Wonderful beach with peaceful waters and sits next to a jetski and mini sail boat rental business that pairs very well, the sands are also really great and the shallow water stretches far. I took pictures with my drone so you can get a better view of what the place looks like. Water always feels great!

Langdon Beach, located in the Fort Pickens area near the western end of Santa Rosa Island, is a popular destination within Gulf Islands National Seashore. This swimming beach offers seasonal lifeguards and amenities such as a picnic pavilion, bathhouse, and outdoor showers.
Made a last-minute plan to try the National Seashores on a warm February day, and to park at Langdon. It was very pristine, not a lot of people, and this is probably one of the prettiest beaches I've ever been to!! Langdon has bathrooms, picnic tables, and even an outdoor shower to get sand off.
Diala B — Google review
Langdon Beach is a beautiful, quiet beach inside Ft. Pickens national park. The parking lot is right at the beach, with the water very close. Plus, there is a nice pavilion (with picnic tables) and restrooms.
Don P — Google review
Langdon beach is Peaceful and worth every penny! We paid $25 at the gate and got access to a more private part of the beach with hardly any crowds. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Hidden gem in Pensacola Beach! Otw to the beach we seen a air show they have every year about the same time.
Reggie I — Google review
You can enjoy quiet sunbathing and fishing. You can also see the dazzling fine sand of the Gulf. There are also restrooms and showers to wash your salt-soaked body.
Satisficer한량 — Google review
Worth the $25 entry and it's good for 7 days. Less crowds, clear water, lots of shells. Limited parking though.
Willis S — Google review
We got to this beach fairly early, and the vibe was EVERYTHING we were hoping for. It was very relaxing and chill and not crowded at all. If you are looking to go shelling this is an awsome place!
Angel M — Google review
Love this beach!! Lots of shells and not crowded. Plenty of parking. Showers to rinse off by the parking lot. Lots of shelters to sit under by the parking lot.
Angela M — Google review
A barrier island between the Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola Bay, Fort Pickens State Park and as part of it, Langdon Beach, is BREATHTAKING!! Serene, beautiful, peaceful! Scattered with Oak Trees, natural wonders, military remnants, tons of wildlife (deer, eagles in the season, shore birds, ospreys, turles, stingrays, etc). White sand beaches in either direction ont he gulf side and the bay side (not a great place for shell collecting). There are hiking trails on the beach, across the bay side, and in the Fort. $25 gives you 7 days of admission. A National Parks pass gives you free admission!

If you're on the lookout for an unforgettable family adventure, the National Naval Aviation Museum is a destination that should be at the top of your list. This impressive museum stands as one of the largest in its field, showcasing over 150 meticulously restored military aircraft that tell the story of naval aviation's rich history spanning more than a century.
The National Naval Aviation Museum is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized—from parking and entry to exhibits and signage. The layout makes it easy to navigate, even with kids in tow, and there’s something fascinating around every corner. The facilities are spotless and clearly very well cared for. The aircraft displays are pristine, the restrooms were clean, and every area felt thoughtfully maintained. You can tell the staff and volunteers take real pride in keeping this place top-notch. It’s an educational, inspiring, and enjoyable experience for all ages. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a fun and meaningful outing, this museum is a must-visit. Five stars, hands down!
Jason N — Google review
Amazing museum! We went on a Friday morning with our 2 ½-year-old and he had the best time exploring the exhibits, climbing into planes, and flipping all the cockpit switches. His favorites were the simulator at the start and sitting in the aircraft. Admission is free, which makes it even better! There was a graduation going on during our visit but it didn’t affect our experience at all. Perfect spot for families — highly recommend!
Marclyn K — Google review
We were all very happy 😊 and impressed with our visit. To see these historic flying machines up close like this is awesome. We opted to take the guided tour and I highly recommend that. Our guide was excellent, but I'm confident all of them are since it's likely they are all experienced pilots and vets. Did I mention this aviation museum is FREE? We spent 3 hours in there, but you could easily spend the day.
Salvatore I — Google review
It’s wonderful! Huge!! There is a lot to see and learn. Admission is free! The tours are free! I’m guessing but I’m pretty sure they are veterans and they live to talk about their experiences in the military. They do suggest a $10 donation. We used google maps and ended up at the wrong gate. The museum is on base (so be sure all adults have real id) but the guard gave us the actual address and turned around. There is a cafe inside and a snack area which are purchased. There are flight simulators which are also for purchase. One is pretty tame but the others are pretty intense. It’s a bit pricy but worth it especially considering the money goes to running the museum. We visited both days of our weekend stay in Pensacola. If you have a pilot in your circle they would be enthralled. I highly recommend you visit!
Anne G — Google review
The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola is nothing short of spectacular — an absolute must-visit for anyone even remotely interested in aviation, history, or just looking for an unforgettable family outing. The sheer number of aircraft on display is mind-blowing. From early biplanes to jet fighters and iconic aircraft spanning every major conflict — WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, and beyond — the collection is incredibly comprehensive and beautifully presented. It's a powerful visual journey through the evolution of naval aviation and military history. What really impressed us was how family-friendly the entire experience was. There are interactive areas where kids can climb into cockpit cutouts, play, and get hands-on in a way that sparks real excitement and curiosity. It’s the kind of place where you’ll see wide-eyed kids pretending to be pilots while parents and grandparents marvel at the historical significance of the aircraft around them. The museum itself is massive — easily an all-day affair if you want to take in everything it has to offer, and honestly, it’s well worth the time. The layout is great, the exhibits are immersive, and there's something for every age and interest level. Whether you're a history buff, a family looking for an engaging day trip, or someone who simply loves incredible machines and the stories behind them, the National Naval Aviation Museum delivers on all fronts. We'll definitely be back!
Pete — Google review
Adults need Real ID to enter at gate. Plan on 4-5 hours to see everything. Hangar 1 closes at 3:30. The rest of the museum is open until 4pm on weekdays. The gulf’s tallest light house is also on base. Lots to see. Well done.
Generally S — Google review
Absolutely amazing experience. We went on a Wednesday and watched the Blue Angels practice/autograph session, and then explored the museum afterwards. If you enjoy and respect aviation as well as the military history of our country, highly recommend. We did not have the time to do it but we could have spent all day here.
Featherbear19 — Google review
Nice collection of vintage aircrafts. Several War Planes. Nice collection on engines. They also offer guided tour. Entry is free. There's a movie show which you can purchase and also a simulator ride which you can purchase. Do not miss it if you are near Pensacola. It's home of Blue Angels.

This place is amazing. We drove here from our bnb on Mothers Day weekend, & it was the perfect place to spend our afternoon. The staff was so nice. Everyone that worked there that we passed smiled & said hello. The bathrooms & inside of the dining area were nice & clean. We sat at the outside bar right off the beach & listened to carribean music with beautiful beach scenery. We ordered the Hula Dancer with our food & the Huckleberry Lemonade to sip while relaxing on the beach. I recommend both. The bartender was so helpful & attentive & made great drinks. The food came out fast & was fresh & good. They have chairs & umbrellas that are free for your use. You just grab a spot in the sand, & they will set you up your umbrella & chair. We will definitely come again.

It’s a beautiful location, and in the evening you get a cool breeze from the water. The food is great. We highly recommend the calamari fries, and red beans and rice. Our server Zach, was so friendly, and a joy to sit and chat with for a bit. You can easily walk to the beach after dinner for some sunset photos, or check out the pier next door. We have been twice, and enjoyed both experiences. Their drinks are great too! Definitely a fun spot on the main beach that’s worth checking out.

Amazing food, not super loud atmosphere, great employees and Hailey was as sweet a could be! Me and my Husband travel a lot, so we know great service when we see it! We spent our honeymoon here in Pensacola, this place was very close to our hotel and it was our favorite out of all the places we’ve been. Hailey can handle so many people and still be calm, quick and sufficient! October 9 @ 5pm, great place to end our last dinner!
Lanyie R — Google review
Last night was my second time there. The first time, everything was fantastic. The food was great, the drinks were great and the atmosphere, coupled with the staff was off the charts great, which prompted the second visit. Last night we seen the waiter 4 times; initial interaction, bringing waters back, drinks then the check. Completely not personable in the least, brought the wrong drinks, never checked on us even though he was back and forth to a table that was seated next to us. We did have a great appetizer of spinach artichoke dip. Fantastic would totally recommend. My wife had a beach burger which was over seasoned and just wasnt good. I had chicken tenders which were fine. Probably a little over done but weren't dry or bad tasting. Fries are great. Would recommend but if I see that waiter again, I'd have to change sections or request a new waiter/waitress.
Ron P — Google review
We had a great experience eating dinner here last night with our 3 kiddos. As most know, dining out with 3 kids is quite the experience most of the time! I’m not going to lie we were a bit nervous going to a nice place like this with them. We were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they all were to our little ones. We were quickly sat outside as we requested and were able to move tables so our littles were in the shade. The hostess was sweet and had no problem changing her original seating plan for us. Our food was out quickly and all of it was delicious. We loved our bushwhacker drink, the spinach artichoke dip with wonton chips, and the shrimp tacos! The kids loved the fries! Our waiter was attentive and took great care of us while we were there. I believe his name was Garrett. The atmosphere was fun with a great DJ. It made our evening so enjoyable and we felt relaxed and welcomed. Highly recommend!

We love this place … today’s food was truly off the chart good, the view make you feel as though you are in the Caribbean and the service, from Erik, was awesome. Caitlyn took time to explain all the promos going on.. just a good team. Not from here ? the perfect experience for your vacay. From here? Well ya know and we all love this place!!

Update- Came twice more lol, tried the bushwacker and frozen pina colada…YUM!! Same with the mahi mahi tacos, SO good! Came here two days in a row (will probably come 1-2 more times before leaving back home), service was great & fast, drinks were delish, they play great reggae music (rebelution, hip abduction, UB40,etc) that keeps the good vibes going! Definitely worth stopping by for a cocktail & snack when you’re burnin up!! I tried the strawberry mo-tito, spicy marg, and mexican mermaid. They have pretty strong fans so it’s definitely worth sitting at the bar.

This squirrel 🐿️ was on a work trip and looking for something to do. What a nice park with fabulous views. Easy walking paths, clean parking lot and wonderful hidden beach. Beautiful forrest on the coast. With pretty trails and a nice beach. A lot of wildlife.

We hiked 7 miles covering numerous trains within the park. The trail was nice, but a bit boring. Also, the sand on the trails - in many places - were quite loose making it somewhat difficult to walk.
Brian — Google review
The Breckenridge nature trail was a fun trail to hike through. We saw some wildlife. The observation point overlooking the bay was great. The visitor center was closed. Make sure to have bug spray on you to keep mosquitos and flies away.
Chene G — Google review
Regarding the NW portion of the park. There is a picnic area and bathroom facilities. The bathrooms were closed during my visit. It could have been due to the freezing temps the night before or just a season thing. The part of the trail I walked was mostly soft sand. At the first west boundary there is a gate and it appears this is a regular entrance for people. I certainly plan to revisit at a later date to explore the other parts.

Park West is a delightful public beach that serves as a gateway to the stunning Gulf Island National Seashore. This charming spot is favored by visitors for its easy beach access and ample parking facilities, making it convenient for everyone. The tranquil waters on the sound side are perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. With soft sands ideal for swimming or simply lounging under the sun, Park West embodies everything that makes Pensacola Beach so special.
This is one of the best kept secrets in all of Florida. This is the last "stop" along the way west towards views that are unhindered by commercial excess. Once you reach this point, it's just flat, clean Earth. And on one side you get a view of the bay to the north and an amazing view of the Gulf to the south. It's simply a splendid access point with quick, easy parking, a bathroom facility with shower, and many pavilions for taking a break.

Secluded and little shared secret to Ft. Pickens. Great fishing, swimming and Pensacola beach without the MASS volume of people! Love this place. $ to get in but worth every dime. Military and DD-214 holders get a FREE pass.

Park West is a very nice beach! I spend a lot of very good time there and I like the view of the beach and it’s beautiful and the water is clear and sand is like a flour! I loved that beach and I recommend 100%

Nice bathroom facilities, lots of individual pavilions to have lunch under, ample parking and a nice boardwalk. The beach is pretty crowded, however the beach is clean! We were also able to watch the Blue Angels practice while we swam!

If you or your family and friends are looking for fun, clear water beaches, other amazing people, then this is the beach to be. The waves were massive! The water was clearer than many ive seen, but definitely salty lol...its the ocean of course. The land around is even better, the great people that come to enjoy the same thing you're there to enjoy makes it even better. Truly a remarkable place to make a few memories
Carlos D — Google review
Super nice beach, I've never been to Pensacola, so I didn't know you pay $1.00 Everytime you go over some of their bridge's, so be prepared. The beach it's self was super clean, tons of room for everyone. But with that being said, sand fleas are a huge problem. I was told after 2 days at the beach. You can prevent from getting them but using meet products.
Rebecca H — Google review
There are about 14-20 covered tables with BBQ grills, bring your own charcoal. You need to arrive early to get a table, no reservations. The restroom is handicap accessible and so is the beach.
Rob H — Google review
This is our go to place for hurricane watching. We also love the fact you can walk out past the break. This is rather important for a disabled short person.

Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier offers a quintessential Gulf Coast experience with its stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico and a vibrant atmosphere. The pier provides paid access for anglers seeking sailfish and the chance to spot dolphins while enjoying panoramic vistas. Visitors can join local fishers or simply admire the sea life, including sea turtles and barracudas. The late fall and early winter months offer a peaceful and uncrowded beach experience, perfect for strolling along Pensacola Beach.
Fun spot to watch the locals fish or fish if you can and do. Also a great spot to walk out and watch the surfers. It was cold and raining the day I visited. Worth the effort and cost.

Absolutely Beautiful! Great food on the Pier, Fishing is great as well. Was catching King Fish, Catfish, Mango Snapper & Spanish. Very Family Oriented adults cost $8 for Fishing just for walking not sure.

Pensacola Beach is absolutely breathtaking and one of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S.! The sand is so soft and white it looks like sugar, and the emerald-green water is crystal clear and inviting. Whether you’re swimming, paddleboarding, or just relaxing with your toes in the sand, it feels like paradise. What makes it even better is the atmosphere. It’s lively yet laid-back, with friendly locals, family-friendly vibes, and plenty of great spots to eat fresh seafood right by the water. The boardwalk is full of energy, but you can also find quieter stretches of beach to simply unwind and soak up the sunshine. The sunsets here are truly magical, watching the sky light up in pinks and oranges over the Gulf is worth the trip alone. Between the natural beauty, the welcoming feel, and the endless things to do, Pensacola Beach is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of relaxation and fun, this beach is second to none. 🌊☀️

We enjoy walking the peirs on vacation. This one was cheap and clean. There was free parking and restrooms close by. As always beautiful views especially at sunset and we saw a ton of sharks on our walk!
Nora W — Google review
This was a very inexpensive way to enjoy the air and the views of the beach. Buy a bracelet and you can peruse the pier until 10PM for whatever you desire. Fishing is abundant, the breeze is great, and the overall experience is pretty decent. There are plenty of trash receptacles that people actually use, meaning the walk is mostly clean. As well as many, many seating options the length of the walk but not at the end.
Michael R — Google review
One of the cleanest beaches I have ever been too. Nice long pier. Fun to see what the fisherman are catching. Wonderful smell of restaurants cooking seafood. Really fun place.
Joe S — Google review
Pier itself is nice! Restrooms need immediate ATTENTION. Really disgusting! If you can go to the RR in your hotel before you visit the pier please do so!
Alma R — Google review
The pier is just like any other… A little crowded no matter what time of day you go and some people have no respect (loud music, smoking, yelling, swearing, setting up directly next to you). Nonetheless, it’s a gorgeous beach, the water is amazing and the sunsets are gorgeous. Within walking distance of multiple shops and restaurants, however I don’t recommend swimming around the pier as it is infested with jellyfish, especially in August, when I went you couldn’t even swim without probably getting stung. Definitely a cool place to check out!

It's more than just a place to walk—it's a hub of entertainment, dining, and shopping with stunning views of the Santa Rosa Sound. The variety of restaurants and boutiques means there's something for everyone, whether you want a quick snack or a full meal. This boardwalk is perfect to spend a day at the beach. There is a ton of free parking, plenty of shops, a pay to use pier, and a variety of places to eat nearby. Even when the beach is busy there is plenty of space and it is still very quiet. Still a variety of wildlife present. A great spot all around!

While this beach area can be busy they have a lot of nice areas with showers to wash off. Great spots to take photos. The giant beach ball. Lots of food options. Alvins Island gift shop. Cute shops. Great place to spend a day on the Gulf or Bay, clean up, and hang on the board walk with food and drink.

We stopped by this area for an evening during our Florida trip. It is fine for what is is, a stretch of beach with a lot of bars, restaurants and shopping, but I tend to enjoy a more low key beach experience. It has a party town feel with a lot of bars, so not the most family friendly place in the world. The actual boardwalk was nice and very scenic.
Lydia T — Google review
Eclectic, fun, beachy restaurant. Has something for everyone. We ate inside and it was dark and quiet. The food portions and quality are fantastic! The drinks are yummy too. And be sure to check out the gift shop as it is surprisingly big and has many cool and interesting items. We didn’t stay for the live music but we did watch people playing volleyball. This is our new go to place, and if you’re staying on Pensacola Beach you can DoorDash food and drinks from Flounders too. All around great place!

The Pensacola Dog Beach West is a smaller beach located close to the city center. It is perfect for dogs and their owners who want to take them for a walk on the sand.
Pensacola Dog Beach is a beautiful coastal escape where pups can splash, play, and soak up the sun — though leashes are required at all times.
Beautiful-Soul — Google review
It was great we found this beach, but very disappointing how small it is. It was our first vacation in the area and we discovered that there are no dog friendly beaches here… This one is, and that’s fantastic. However, it is only about 100 yards between designated markers, even though the empty beach goes east and west for miles. Then, out of sudden, a city pet control person showed up to check on all dogs and their owners. How difficult would be to make this dog beach 2-3 times longer so we all could spread out a little and enjoy it. The parking lot is small so we had to park along the road, which I don’t even know if it is legal. The parking lot at least had 2 porta potties, which seemed relatively clean. Again, very disappointing how the city (or the county) has to make it so difficult for dog owners.
Peter B — Google review
A nice dog beach. It wasn't a big area for dogs to have space. But those beach was quieter than the other end. It was clean beach, too Bad the waves were rough during our vacation!
Megan M — Google review
It's a nice beach, not very crowded. Small but clean port-o-potties. Only downside was all the trash in the water. Pup loved it though, 9/10

Great beach to bring your dog..clean and beautiful...just kinda small and no shower to rinse the sand off.
Daniel G — Google review
We loved being able to bring our pup to the beach to run and swim. She's a 5lb chihuahua and she had a blast. We changed plans last minute so that we could bring our pup and we are very happy with our decision. Our izzy enjoyed her beach time and chewing on seashells. Lots of pups were out. Large dogs and small dogs, well behaved, and leashed. Will definitely be back!
Chloe G — Google review
Nice beach. There is a port-a-potty in the parking lot for the humans. Clean beach, I saw no dog waste anywhere. I came between 8-9 AM on a Monday morning with my dog, only a handful of people there, I saw four dogs total, three that were swimming with their owners. There is no fresh water access or showers, you will need to bring bottled water and a dog dish for you & your puppy.

Pensacola Beach - Park East offers a serene and well-maintained environment with beautiful white sand and good waves. While the facilities have been affected by local damage, the park is still a relaxing place to visit. Despite the lack of lifeguards, visitors can enjoy the beach's natural beauty and wildlife, including various bird species, crabs, fish, and distant dolphin pods.
This was an amazing dog beach! So clean, so open, definitely a small area overall to sit but places to walk your dog on either side of the specific dog beach area. Water was amazing and so beautiful! Was extremely pleased! My pooch and I will be back! 🐶

We had the most perfect day at the beach. White warm sands. Very clean..we spent the entire day just watching waves and living our best beach life!

One of my favorite rides, hands down. Taking the bike over the bridge toward Pensacola Beach feels like freedom—wind in my face, salt in the air, and that view of the water on both sides is unreal. I stopped at a little spot to watch the waves and just breathe. It’s the kind of ride that clears your mind and reminds you why you ride in the first place. If you’re ever near Pensacola, don’t miss this one.

Amazing white sand and crystal blue water. Space to get away from the crowds if you want. We went June 12th and the water was so nice and refreshingly cold in the best way.

Stunning location! Just a heads-up—parking at any beach in the area can be tricky during spring break, summer, and holidays, so plan ahead.
Beautiful-Soul — Google review
I highly recommend driving and parking as close to the huge green National Seashores sign as possible. We stayed about 30 feet away from the sign and easily walked to the beach by following the short path to the beach. There was a little bit of algae but that did not deter us from enjoying the beach. I found a single small sand dollar in early July. Lots of pretty small seashells. I saw many crabs. The waves were placidly calm.
Sharon M — Google review
Great beach to come to if you're looking to get away from the crowds. Bathrooms are kept maintained as well as the walkways. This place is also free. Highly recommend. If parking in the main 2 lots are filled, don't worry, for we saw plenty of people parking on the roadside leading up to it.

If you're looking for a seafood-centric restaurant with a laid-back vibe in Pensacola Beach, look no further than Shaggy's. They serve up fresh oysters and other delicious seafood dishes daily, as well as indoor seating. Outdoors they offer views of Little Sabine Bay and provide a fun waterfront atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy.
I had a wonderful experience at Shaggy’s! Sitting outside with a gorgeous view made the meal even more enjoyable. I ordered the shrimp, fried green tomatoes, and a burger with fries—everything was flavorful and delicious. My dog was even able to join me and enjoyed a hot dog with water, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Every employee has excellent hospitality, especially Bella. She went above and beyond and let us know what events were going on in town for the weekend that we shouldn’t miss and the service was fast and accurate! The food & cocktails are phenomenal, everything has been on point twice now!

Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a fun, laid-back vibe with a beautiful view of the water. Most of the food we ordered was delicious. One thing we loved is that Shaggy’s is dog-friendly — they even have a dog menu, which was such a nice touch for anyone traveling with pets like we did. It made the visit feel even more welcoming. The only downside was the poke bowls. They were quite bland, and the rice was mushy, which made that dish a letdown compared to everything else. We’d definitely come back for the great atmosphere, friendly service, and the dog-friendly patio — just probably avoid poke bowls next time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience at Shaggy’s in Pensacola! The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, the food came out fresh and delicious, and the views were beautiful. But what really made our visit stand out was our waitress, Jaylon. She was such a sweetheart—so attentive, friendly, and welcoming. She made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her energy and kindness truly made the meal memorable. Thank you, Jaylon, for giving us such a great experience—we’ll definitely be back!

First time here and loved it!! Zoey was our waitress. Super sweet and answered all my questions. Someone had a dog here. It gave me a kiss. There were families with small kids, as well as couples. So a lot of variety of people. The atmosphere was lovely. Fun music, and beautiful sights. The food was delicious. My sandwich (the cool chick) was so big i had to eat it with a fork and knife. Absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back and try what Zoey recommended to me. Which was a crab flouder something? Definitely want to try, but because of money i chose the cheaper option which was the cool chick. Looking forward to coming again!!

We loved this restaurant! We were staying on Pensacola Beach with friends and our oldest son and wife enjoy coming here. They are locals and just love it!! We were there on a Wednesday night around 6 and had a 15 minute wait. What's cool while you wait, is that you get half priced drinks. What a great idea and I wish more places would do this. It makes the customers so happy while waiting. 5 of us got the local brewery, Perfect Plain citra spin hazy IPA - so good and it's our favorite brewery in the area. 1 friend for the margarita and she said that was very good as well. My hubby ordered a burger and it had a homemade type bun and done perfectly & yummy fries that are worth it. I usually get grilled fish tacos but I got the coconut shrimp and they were outstanding & the portion was huge! They were lightly battered and large with a yummy lil spicy sauce to dip and they came with fries & hush puppies. I ate all the shrimp and hush puppies but only had a few fries because the portion was so nice. One friend had the grilled redfish with rice & a delicious sauce. He loved it! Another had a grilled fish sandwich and it was amazing. Another friend had the fried flounder and enjoyed it greatly. We got a table outside to be able to watch the beautiful sunset and take pictures, it was glorious. Such a great restaurant for great food, nice drinks, sunset watching & good customer service. We also like that it is more affordable than most other seafood places on the beach. We will go back!!

Pensacola Dog Beach is a gem for dog lovers! Finding a clean, well-kept beach where dogs are not only allowed but genuinely welcomed is such a relief. The area is marked for pets, and there's plenty of space for dogs to run, swim, and play. The beach is beautiful—white sand, clear water, and amazing views. There are waste stations with bags provided, which is super helpful and encourages everyone to keep the area clean. Most dog owners we encountered were very responsible and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Just a heads-up: it can get hot, so be sure to bring water and maybe an umbrella for shade. Also, the leash rules are posted and worth reading so everyone stays safe and respectful. Overall, Pensacola Dog Beach is a fantastic spot for anyone traveling with a dog or just wanting to enjoy a more relaxed, pet-friendly stretch of the coast. Highly recommend it!

It was the first time that we took our dog to the beach. It was a wonderful experience. Our dog had a blast and so did we. The spacing is a little restricted with signs indicating where the dog beach begins and ends. It would have been awesome if there was a faucet or something to wash the sand off before getting him back in the car. Leash can be no longer than 8 feet.

During the weekdays this spot isn't too crowded but the weekend its a too small of space for dogs. Very over crowded and dogs too close to each other.

It’s a really cool place—a beach just for dogs. My two pups had a great time chasing birds and playing in the waves.
Jennifer N — Google review
The beach was clean. The sand was white and powdery and I found a few cool shells. It was busy but not over crowded. The dog access area was not a large area, considering how large the beach actually is but it was plenty of room for the amount of dogs that were there. All the pups were well behaved and seemed to enjoy themselves. We've been here twice and will continue to visit this beach.

Absolutely LOVED this beach! Super clean, everyone was friendly, not crowded at all, and all the puppers were well behaved and cared for! We really enjoyed watching everyone spending good quality time with their families and fur babies! There are posts up for this particular section of the beach to keep your dogs within range, but it was still plenty for us to hang out and walk around in. Can't complain when there are so few dog friendly beaches to choose from. We will definitely be back!

Fort Pickens, a remarkable military fortification constructed in the 1830s, stands proudly at the western tip of Santa Rosa Island in Pensacola Beach. This historic site not only offers self-guided and scheduled tours but also serves as a captivating blend of nature and history. As one of the few forts that remained untouched by Confederate forces during the Civil War, Fort Pickens boasts unique five bastion architecture that tells tales from its storied past.
I had an amazing time! Definitely worth getting the gulf annual pass bc i can go back for a whole year! The beaches were clean and barely any people! The trails are beautiful. Fort Pickens was a awesome place to visit

A little history and a bit of relaxation. The perfect combination. It's worth drive to see and explore the old fort and to see the beach with less hustle and bustle. Just the simple beauty of the beach the way it once was. There are bathrooms and a good path to get you closer to the packed sand. The water was super clear and the sunset was lovely. There are tables in the pavilion so you can have sand free sandwiches 😁. There's also a shower to rinse off all the things on the path out. We will definitely be back.

Fort Pickens is one of my favorite places in Pensacola. It's where I take people when it's their first time here. A great and unique thing about this fort is the ability to self guide yourself around the grounds. Love love this park.
Eric G — Google review
You have to pay a entrance fee to get inside. But after you get in you have beautiful beaches and sand dunes up until you reach the fort. There will be a self guided tour, you can walk almost everywhere you want had have amazing sights and tunnels to explore (be aware that mose are dead ends and you'll need to follow your steps back) but nonetheless the historical place is amazing to visit.
Darius V — Google review
These are only pictures of the main Fort. The highlight of your visit. You need 2 days to see everything here. All of the batteries around the key are fascinating to see and wander around. So much history here. The beaches are also very beautiful. Amazing sense of peace. Well worth the 7 day pass. If you camp here even better. One of our favorite places to visit in Pensacola. And the rangers are super friendly and informative.
Celeste — Google review
This fort is what you imagine a fort being, with narrow, long tunnels that you can explore (bring a flashlight!), lots of rooms and passageways and hidden spots. If you bring kids, get them a Junior Ranger book to complete so they can earn their Junior Ranger badge while learning the history of the fort and about animals who call the national seashore home. There’s also a ton of beach to hang out on, and it wasn’t very crowded, even on a weekend. The waves were small, and the water was pretty clear too.
Caitlin C — Google review
You’re supposed to be able to download their app and get a self-guided tour. Although I had the app there was nothing in it to provide a tour or information about the fort. We walked around for about 20 minutes and saw interesting things and beautiful views from the cannons. Not sure it’s worth the long drive out at 25 miles an hour.

The Hilton Pensacola Beach is a modern beachfront hotel located directly on the beautiful beaches of Pensacola Beach, Florida. Guests can enjoy two outdoor pools, a fitness center, and multiple dining options including fresh sushi at Bonsai, cajun and Asian-style fare at H20, and seafood at Latitudes Beach Bar.
We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Hilton Pensacola Beach. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding after a day on the beach. The location is unbeatable with easy access to everything you’d want nearby. A special shout-out to Christine at the front desk—she was absolutely amazing. She has the warmest personality, went out of her way to help us, and made us feel so welcome. She truly made a great experience even better. Highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back!
James T — Google review
I stayed at the Hilton Pensacola Beach from September 8–13 while attending a conference, and unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations—especially for a Hilton property. Upon entering my first room, I was immediately met with visible mold, mildew, and rust on the A/C unit, along with dust, dirt, and even insects inside the lamp shades. The décor was outdated and worn, leaving the space feeling unsanitary and uncomfortable—particularly for a week-long stay. I immediately reported my concerns to the front desk and provided photos as documentation. The staff informed me that the hotel was fully booked but would try to find a solution. To their credit, within about 30 minutes they located a cancellation and moved me to a new room. While the second room was an improvement, it still showed concerning issues with upkeep and cleanliness—empty body wash containers, a balcony littered with clipped toenails, and areas that clearly needed a more thorough cleaning. The most alarming incident occurred when a housekeeping staff member unlocked and entered my room unannounced—to warm up their food. This breach of privacy and security was completely unacceptable and left me feeling uneasy for the remainder of my stay. On a positive note, the food at the on-site restaurants was fantastic, and there are plenty of great dining options within walking distance of the hotel. I also appreciated the convenience of the friendly locals who offer rides around the island for tips—it’s a far better and more affordable alternative to using Uber or Lyft. Although the staff’s responsiveness in changing my room was appreciated, the overall experience was disappointing and not reflective of Hilton’s usual standards. The property needs renovations, improved cleaning protocols, and stronger staff training to ensure guest comfort and safety. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would be hesitant to return to this location.

Pros: Beautiful hotel and facility! Love that they have free parking. And beach front! The staff was very kind and accommodating! Cons: Not sure if the water pressure is always like that but it would not even splash off of your skin. The water temperature was also quite unacceptable honestly. The hottest was a like warm and we also had 3 cold showers over the course of a 3 night stay. *I really hope this gets resolved. This facility is too nice for something like water to change the overall experience so much.

This hotel is directly on the beach, which is wonderful. However, there have been disappointments during our stay. For one, the elevators are expired and extremely slow. The second is not entirely their fault, but even beyond that, we have had a slew of problems. The bar closes at 6pm, which is a little early for a beach vacation, no? They closed our tab and forced a tip when we were sitting about three feet from the bar and could’ve just told us they needed to close it… The pools outside are very clean but not warmed at all. Okay, so maybe the indoor pool is? No, the indoor pool isn’t even WORKING and hasn’t been our entire stay. The filter is broken, and the water is freezing. We were told not to use it. The hot tub outside is big enough for about six people and has been full - besides, I don’t *want* to be in a hot tub. I want to *swim*. The outside pool is saturated by speakers that play music extremely loud so don’t expect peace. I also really object to the breakfast. It truly isn’t that much better than a standard Continental breakfast, but it is $25 per person, not included in the room price. You also have to add a tip because they give you a server who only brings you drinks. My boyfriend - who is not white - was served soapy water (I, white, had perfect water) 2 days in a row by the same server. They also make you use a bellhop to use a dolly, so there’s another necessary tip. (Although the bellhop was very nice.) There is also paid parking which I have rarely encountered in vacations at the Gulf. We had to ask for the pass the second day to avoid getting towed, which another guest warned us about. We were not told about that by the front desk at check in. The fridge and microwave in the room are quite old and don’t work well, but the room is a pretty okay size. The curtains do not close, and the bathroom is extremely small. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, but the maintenance, housekeeping, and bellhops were all very nice.

my experience at this hotel was exceptional. It started off amazing with the two ladies at the front desk who helped me check in. They were both extremely welcoming and genuinely kind. The view from my room was amazing with, I could see the beach on the left and the gulf on the right. I would definitely come back

Our recent family vacation at Hilton Pensacola Beach was disappointing and definitely overrated. Check-in isn’t until 4:00 PM, even though check-out is at 11:00 AM, that’s a five-hour gap supposedly reserved for cleaning. Either they’re short-staffed or simply don’t prioritize guest convenience, because the lobby was full of families waiting for rooms. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and I’ve never seen such a late check-in policy elsewhere. The hotel itself was constantly overcrowded, even approaching the front desk felt like navigating through a crowd. For nearly $800 for two nights, the experience fell well short of expectations. The only real positive was the beachfront location, which is undeniably beautiful. However, the overall maintenance left much to be desired. The bathtub had visible rust stains, something I found concerning, especially given the proximity to the seaside and the likely impact of salty, hard water. Still, that kind of wear shouldn’t be present in a hotel charging premium rates. In summary, the stay was overpriced, overcrowded, and poorly maintained. The Hilton name usually stands for better standards, but this property misses the mark. We won’t be returning.

Parking was super easy, with Diamond member spots right in front. Staff was very friendly—although the front desk guy wasn’t sure about the price match guarantee, the lady the next day took care of it and we got a great rate. Beach access was phenomenal, the pool was clean, and our room was spotless. As Diamond members, we were upgraded to a suite with a balcony, which we really enjoyed. The hotel has a restaurant called Salt, which looked very nice and clean (from what we saw, but we didn’t get to try it). Instead, we used our Diamond credit at the outdoor bar and ordered frozen daiquiris—a Miami Vice and a piña colada. The piña colada was a little strong, but the Miami Vice was good (a bit artificial tasting, but at $15 a drink and covered by credit, no complaints). The location was perfect—right by the beach, within walking distance to restaurants, boutiques, and shops.

One word... lazy river! 😁 I love their pool. The hotel is right on the beach too, so you can spend time on the sand and swim in the ocean... then float in the lazy river. 😊 The rooms are nice, and the property overall is great. Very friendly staff. Will stay again!

The resort hotel Portofino Island Resort features luxurious condos as well as beachfront rental villas. The property is large and has magnificent views of the Gulf of Mexico. There are numerous perks for guests, including discounts on activities and rentals of bikes and watercraft. In addition, the resort features swimming pools and a spa.
Absolutely Paradise – A Must-Visit! This place is truly a slice of paradise. You don’t even have to leave the property for really anything. The included spa experience was a highlight and absolutely amazing — such a relaxing bonus! We also upgraded to the extreme package, and it was 100% worth it. From jet skiing to the water park, we did it all! They also offer great kid activities for the little ones, which made it easy for everyone in the family to enjoy themselves — no matter their age. The beach was beautiful. White sands and clear water was picture-perfect. So much better than the over hyped Destin. We decided to rent the golf cart for the day (not included in the package), and that was money well spent — super convenient and fun for getting around the property. This was easily one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. We would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and all-around incredible getaway.

This is the best place me and my family have ever visited. We ordered room service MULTIPLE times and the women that served us were the sweetest. When we got our rooms they were squeaky clean and I just loved the set up of everything. Don’t even get me started on the location. It was the best view I could’ve asked for. Perfect view of the beach, a pool, and the other towers. Our tower also had a pool which was clean, clear, and refreshing. If your looking for an amazing vacation with your friend and family in Pensacola than this is the place to go!

Planning a getaway to paradise? Look no further than Portofino Resort. From the moment you arrive until the day you leave, you’re treated like family. As parents of a child who uses a wheelchair, we can confidently say this is her favorite place in the world—and ours too! The resort is fully wheelchair accessible, from the rooms and pool to the beach itself. If you’re traveling with someone who has physical challenges, Portofino goes above and beyond to make sure every detail of your stay is comfortable and memorable. While you're there, be sure to explore their adventure packages! We highly recommend the Jet Ski team—they’re truly the best. Friendly, professional, and attentive to every need. The guys go above all to take great care of you, We have much respect and truly appreciate the team more than they know! Pat and Cooper are AMAZING The dolphin cruise is also a must-do and packed with fun. Portofino Resort delivers on every level. You won’t be disappointed by the experience, the staff, or the incredible memories you’ll make.

Absolutely amazing place! My family and I visited for the second time and it was even more magical than the first! There are so many fun things to do such as an obstacle course, visiting the bay, the beach, or just relaxing by one of their many pools! Beautiful views are available throughout the resort. It’s definatly my go-to place for vacation! I would recommend!

We’ve been visiting the Emerald Coast regularly for the past four years, and this resort is by far the best we’ve ever stayed at! The room was immaculate, and the views were absolutely stunning. The resort truly has everything you could need from restaurants, amenities, activities, so much so that you don’t even need to leave the property if you don’t want to! The gym is boujee (which is exactly my vibe), and everything felt top tier. We’ve already booked our stay for next year. This place was a win for the whole family!

Our massages at the Portofino spa were a 5 star. Isabella who checked us in confirmed that we had reserved our massages a week later. However, she and Amy and Debbie made it all possible. We were celebrating our daughters 36th birthday and drove all the way from Nashville TN so we were ever so happy for her assistance. Amy and Debbie get 5 stars for their massages as well. Apprecite the spa experience with the steam room and sauna prior to the massages. Again. 5 star!!!!

This is by far our favorite place as a family to stay on Pensacola Beach! Amazing location, good rooms, plenty of pools, and just a walk across the road to the beach. Our kiddo loves playing in the pool all day and eating poolside. Really seems to be built around families which is great for us but maybe not ideal for couples or younger guests looking to party.

This is our favorite place to stay! We have stayed at so many places, from Gulf Shores all the was down to Clearwater, & we have definitely found our favorite! So much to do & experience at Portofino, family friendly & still romantic! Do wish there was a way to hire a sitter for private excursions for Mom & Dad. So much fun!

Hopefully someone gets this , your staff is amazing, we stayed over the last several days and every aspect of the stay was excellent. The bartender Blake at the outside bar was great very personable and friendly. Every team member we came into contact with was friendly and ready to help with what ever we needed. Even the Towel Crew at the pool had a great energy with them a positive attitude and very attentive. One person did stick out more than others and that would be Maggie from the front desk, I had several interactions with her and she is amazing, not with just myself but with every guest that she interacted with. I watched her as she made each person's experience unique and very pleasant for the ones in line before me, she made our stay above and beyond. We definitely will be back. Thanks for all that y'all do to make our stay memorable

Absolutely outstanding hotel and staff! Everything from check in to check out was perfect and Katie made sure we got the best possible deal for our reunion group! The staff was warm, friendly, and exceedingly accommodating. They ensured that every thing we needed was perfect and helped us with anything that wasn't just right. We had a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning with Nancy, Abby, Cathy, and Heidi attending to our every need. The rooms were exceptionally clean with a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean and pool area. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. The bathroom had more than enough towels and wash cloths and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Internet speed was exceptional for a hotel. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel and a tiki bar at the pool. The pool itself is salt water with a great little lazy river and lots of lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas, and towels. They also include floats for your lazy river fun! The ocean and shopping, restaurants, and excursion fun are all short walks away. You can go dolphin cruising, parasailing, or just relax on the beach. In my honest opinion, this hotel and the surrounding area are best in the off season and provide an exceptional vacation or business experience.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach in September 2025 and we’ll definitely be coming back! The rooms are great, the service is amazing, and everyone on the staff is super friendly. One big plus — you can also use the pools at the neighboring hotels, and the ocean is just steps away. And those views from the room? Absolutely stunning! The restaurant food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. Huge thanks to our server Sasha — she was so kind and even made our little son look forward to lunchtime every day. We’ll definitely stay here again next time!

We stayed here with our family last week and absolutely loved it! The hotel is wonderful, with a stunning view right over the ocean. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We had breakfast at the restaurant and really enjoyed it — the buffet was delicious and had a great variety: eggs, bacon, sausages, French toast, fruits, yogurt, and cereals for the kids. There was also a large selection of drinks, all included in the price. Our waitress was Sasha, and we are so grateful to her for her amazing attitude toward our children. They were crying and didn’t want to eat because they wanted to go shopping for toys, but Sasha kindly gave them small gifts, and the kids were so happy afterward! Thank you for such a warm experience — we hope to come back again soon!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach and had a fantastic experience! The staff was welcoming, but Crystal, the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, truly stood out. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our stay comfortable. The resort is beautiful, with stunning beach views and impeccable cleanliness, thanks to Crystal and her team. If you’re looking for a great beach getaway, I highly recommend this resort. Meeting Crystal was a highlight of our trip! Thank you for a wonderful vacation! 🌴✨

This hotel/resort was excellent. The pool includes a lazy river and 2 hot tubs. There is a gate in the pool area that leads to the next door hotel's pool, which is available for use. There is beach access and showers for washing off the sand. The rooms are great, the service is wonderful! There is a restaurant on the main floor which offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a bar. There are many kids, which was wonderful for us as we brought our 5 year old. He had a blast. The deepest part of the pool is 5ft and there is plenty of room for everyone. At night, there are two firepits by the pool. The service from the front desk was beyond great. My family and I cannot wait to book again. We stayed October 2025 and there was not many people staying compared to the summer months. There are many places to eat within walking distance and you can chose a room facing the bay or the beach. We stayed on the 11th floor and it was beyond wonderful. I would recommend this hotel/resort if you are staying in Pensacola Beach.

Wow! We just got home from this lovely slice of paradise! I already want to go back! This place is perfect for families! We are a family of six and felt very much at home here. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go when we wanted to leave the resort. We had a beautiful view from our balcony, you can use the pools at the nearby hotels too, easy walk to the beach, restaurant right in the hotel with the best service! Hopefully you get Cathy or Heidi because they both are so amazing 🤩 We will definitely be back!!!

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Jolly Sailing & Dolphin Cruise, where you can enjoy a private cruise in the Gulf of Mexico. As the name suggests, you're likely to encounter playful dolphins leaping out of the water during your tour. In addition to dolphin sightings, they offer various tours such as snorkeling and diving, ensuring that you make the most of your time at sea. The friendly crew is knowledgeable about where dolphins frequent and provides an entertaining experience while on board.
We took a private Sunset cruise with Jolly Sailing and Dolphin Cruises and could not be more pleased. We called several companies but chose Jolly Sailing because of the friendly and professional way Cindy handled the call. Captain Mike was just great, finding dolphins for us to view in great numbers. Very pleased.

We took the Dolphins sightseeing tour this afternoon (9/26/25). Captain Roger and Bosun Matt were fantastic. Both were very engaging, professional and very knowledgeable about all things Dolphins and Pensacola history. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Captain Roger knew exactly where to find at least 20 Dolphins while Bosun Matt must have studied Marine Biology because he was so knowledgeable about Dolphins. Lastly, a big thank you to Ms. Cindy who kept us updated with schedule and reporting to the dock etc. We absolutely loved it and can wholeheartedly recommend Jolly Sailing! You won't be disappointed.

This is a spectacular company! My husband and I booked a private dolphin/snorkeling adventure back in 2023 and had a marvelous time! Now, for our family vacation in 2025 with our kids we did a private dolphin cruise and saw a large pod of dolphins and had our same Captain, Paul, who was an awesome host! We will definitely be continuing to book with them anytime we want a dolphin experience!

Our family LOVED our private dolphin tour with Paul! We had the best time seeing tons of playful dolphins and stopping at the beach to slide on the sand, take some pics and relax in the water. Hope to be back again one day!

Was an amazing experience! We had a wonderful tour of the bay and saw a bunch of dolphins. Matt (first mate) was super knowledgeable about the area and the dolphin. Him and the captan were both super nice! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing. This is our 4th time going, and this time was more complicated than past times, trying to accommodate family from multiple states. The front desk woman was great, calling us back to update us on availability and check on our status. Our skipper was skilled and fun, dancing with the kids when the marine life viewing was slow. The deck hand, Mary, was also actively engaged in teaching us during down time and spent extra time keeping children on board active and excited. The view was beautiful, the ride skillfully done, and it was fun for the whole family: 3 generations worth!
Chelci R — Google review
Both the staff on our dolphin cruise were kind, punctual, and friendly. I know dolphin cruises can be hit or miss but we saw so many dolphins, including a pod of about 7! When anyone spotted dolphins, they went to that area, slowed down the boat to a stop, and helped us look for the dolphins as they were nearby. The staff took time to teach us some things about the wildlife and the area as well. They also gathered trash from the ocean on our trip. Very much worth the cost!
Emery B — Google review
Twas a jolly good time. My husband and I wanted to find a casual, fun activity to do during our vacation and this was the perfect choice! Best part was the comedic relief waiting for the dolphins to give us a show…which they definitely did!! Cap & the other guy were absolutely the best to lead the cruise, thank you so much. Will keep this on my list of things to do next time I come back to Pensacola.

Sound Side Park is a delightful gem nestled along the serene Santa Rosa Sound, perfect for families with young children. The calm waters here provide a safe environment for little ones to splash around, and you can discover unique shell varieties that differ from those found on the Gulf side—think smaller, darker shells and perhaps even a hermit crab or two! This park is conveniently located near Juanas, where you can grab delicious food and drinks while enjoying live music on summer weekends.
It’s great place to enjoy beach and play volleyball with your friends. It’s a calm place and defines the Navarre beach’s speciality. My wife and I spent a day on the beach and its surroundings.

My son really likes to go here so he can swim, I like it too. It's very family friendly and a great place to take younger children. In the pictures, we went late afternoon/dusk time. The water was warm, and the kids had a lot of fun. This is considered a park.

We always enjoy our time at Juana’s and Sound side park. Calm waters and the best sunsets in Navarre. This area is great to take small children, if you want to avoid the waves of the gulf. Juana’s is close enough to walk up to and purchase food and beverage, and most summer weekends they have live music you can listen to while enjoying the beach! There is a playground behind Juana’s as well for the little tykes. We take our pontoon and launch from there more than any other dock. Very nice and clean boat launch. There are bathrooms as well.

Great place to enjoy the breeze and a great view. Very conveniently located. Its nice to go through a drive through and bring food to eat right next to the water. There are nice, professional men's and women restrooms there along with an outdoor beach shower with overhang roofing to progress you from the sun. I would recommend this place to others.

We stay here and they are better than some of the others. I give 4 stars just because of their handicap accessible functions don’t work. Other than that the hotel is good. The cost associated with staying here is comparable to Hilton since they are owned by Hilton but definitely not Hilton quality.

This was our third stay. We are on the road a lot for business. Location is perfect. Bed is comfortable. The king suite is roomy, has plenty of functional furniture and is cute. Being next door to a Waffle House and good Mexican restaurant was a bonus. So, despite the dirtiness of the last room, we tried it again. This time was worse. Floors turned our feet black. Filth and hair all over the bathroom. Random guy hanging outside half the night. Someone attempted to break into our car. On a lesser note, they never bothered to contact us about the items we accidentally left in the room. Sometimes you get exactly what you pay for.

The location is awesome. It's right in town but it's also only like 6 or 7 minutes away from the beach. So it's in a great location. I like that they are affordable too. Most places around are to high specially when u have kids. They have nice pretty clean rooms too. All the house keepers were very helpful and very sweet. The front desk guys the night one and day one were very helpful and nice too. Everything was very awesome there. They don't serve breakfast but u can walk to the side of the parking lot to the left and waffle house is there for your needs and they are awesome all around too. The Pensacola Beach and Pier are the best part of the whole trip please go check it out you will not regret it so beautiful. The hotel also has a fire pit and they supply the wood. They have picnic tables too and they have a grill for the perfect BBQ day by the pool so relaxing. Loved it here will be back.

The cleanliness of the room was poorly maintained. I don’t think the floors have ever been mopped or vacuumed. The bathrooms had a weird light on a timer hidden behind the door. On the upside, the hotel is pet-friendly and in a good location, relatively close to the beach and downtown.

Here now with my family. Ideal for us and the staff is so awesome. Beautiful rooms. EXTREMELY COLD AC! So clean that you can eat off the floor. The Room itself is conveniently close to everything you need. Wally world and all the fast food before the toll bridge. Perfect spot for the budgeting vacationer

I stayed here for 4 days with my 3 children while we were on vacation! We drove 12 hours and arrived 3 hours before check in and the lady at the front desk was very sweet and got us a room cleaned within 45 mins and let us check in early! We enjoyed our experience! The rooms were clean, and the AC was cold! We were comfortable! I don’t know why people on here say it felt unsafe, it’s in a great location and we felt safe being here. My kids loved the pool and the outside area was well kept. The fire pit and grill was a nice add on too. The only thing I would suggest is to bring your own towels! We only got one clean set of towels and that was after setting our dirty ones outside the door. We also brought our own trash bags and took out our own trash. I didn’t want to bother the front desk because it was a busy weekend but I’m sure they would be happy to give you more towels or clean the room while you’re away. The staff there was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Came for 7 days for a national dance competition. We needed close proximity to the beach (10 mins) as well as the Bay Center (10 mins) This was perfect! We loved the feeling of a small local place. Publix across the street, Waffle House and Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot as hotel. The rooms are completely renovated with details that make it feel less hotel like with more of condo feel. There is no kitchen but there was a decent size refrigerator. We enjoyed the pool daily and used the provided grill. We had a refrigerator issue and within about 5 minutes Niko had a new one to our room. Large ice machine was available to fill our cooler daily. We met some nice families as well as many of the staff. Shout out to Terry the maintenance man for working so hard daily! Your hard work didn’t go unnoticed! We will definitely be back!

The Blue Angels put on an amazing performance that is definitely worth seeing. You can bring your own chairs or rent them for a small fee, and there are concessions available at reasonable prices. The show represents freedom, patriotism, and the American spirit. Even in uncertain weather conditions, the Angels deliver an incredible experience. Whether it's a scheduled air show or a surprise flyover, witnessing the Blue Angels in action is always memorable and not to be missed.
Blue Angels are awesome!! I was able to attend a practice demo and it was everything I could have wanted to see! The new super hornets make for a loud show and amazing capabilities!
Andrew M — Google review
Incredible experience on this precious show! Had a chance to watch them practice at FLL beach. Unbelievable show!
Thomas S — Google review
We went last Tuesday but because of the weather it got canceled. So... we came back the next day again since they were doing it then as well. The show was truly amazing and would definitely be worth your while to see the jets in action. The announcer did a great job. The line personale did an amazing job as well. A wonderful representation of fredom , patriotism, and to be an American.
Asher N — Google review
What an amazing show for all ages. Plus it's FREE! Make sure to bring your own chairs, hats, sunscreen, ear plugs and water. They do offer chairs to rent $6 each. Get there early for a good seat. Wear good walking shoes to visit the museum and hangers because it's a massive complex.
Jolonda L — Google review
Unique experience. It is fascinating and feels surreal to see the magnificent harmony that blue angels show in air formation. Highly recommended for aircraft aficionados and families looking to do things in the area. Admission is free but seating can be a hassle. Show up 45 minutes before the air show, which usually starts at 10 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Park on the left of the Air Museum
Carla C — Google review
LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!! My husband and I saw them practice on Wednesday and they were absolutely amazing!! 10000% suggest you go and see them. It is free to get in there but do suggest you bring a lawn chair like we did.
Stephanie N — Google review
Absolutely amazing! We took a group of students they were thrilled by the air show (WOW) and loved the museums! What an experience. Make sure to check air station entry requirements before going.
John C — Google review
Amazing! Amazing! Thinking you want to check it out - THEN DO IT! It was a great performance. They rented chairs if you forget or don’t have your own - we paid $4 a chair and they picked them up afterwards. Or you can just stand, sit in the bleachers, or put a blanket down. There was concessions- chips, WATER, beverages, ChikFilA sandwiches (first come first serve). CONCESSIONS were reasonably priced. They had EAR PLUGS for $1. A few Blue Angel souvenirs, shirts and more that support the Blue Angel program. You can’t bring in food, NO back packs- but we were able to bring in a diaper bag for our little ones. BRING YOUR CAMERA- plenty of space for a great show. Wear comfortable shoes for a bit of a walk. Summer time use SUNSCREEN and a hat. Outside restroom area - portapotty style- hand washing area and a MISTER to cool off. There was a courtesy golf cart that helped with the little ones. Best day!

Santa Rosa Sound is a picturesque spot in Pensacola Beach, known for its laid-back island atmosphere and stunning outdoor dining options. It offers a serene alternative to the Gulf side beaches, with calm waters perfect for swimming and various water activities like jet skiing and boating. Visitors also praise its tranquil and relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal destination for families seeking beautiful beaches and peaceful surroundings.
This is my favorite place to be. Best beaches, best sunsets and best sand bars.
John H — Google review
The smaller beach sections on the Sound side are a great accompaniment to the Gulf side beaches. Sometimes the water on the Gulf side isn’t the best for swimming for any number of reasons, that’s a great time to head to the sound. The fishing is just as fun but is different than the Gulf side, and you get some really nice sunsets. You can rent jet skies and boats and other rideables. The Wibit Water bounce park is a must for your kids, located at the base of the Navarre Beach Bridge at Navarre Family Watersports. Emerald Coast Getaways offers a variety of vacation rentals along the stunning Pensacola Beach, known for its pristine white sands and tranquil turquoise waters. Guests have raved about their experiences with Emerald Coast Getaways, praising the exceptional hospitality and well-maintained properties. Whether it's a luxurious beachfront condo or an elegant home with a fabulous balcony, visitors can expect spacious accommodations and top-notch amenities.
We have stayed with Emerald Coast Getaways several times and they are consistently the best “hosts” we have ever had. But recently we had the pleasure of visiting the Belle of the Beach and this place is an amazing blend of elegance and home. It has everything you can want or need for your vacation getaway. When you first walk in the door you see the beautiful home and notice the fabulous balcony. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy time together or time alone. The bedrooms are spacious with the most comfortable beds imaginable. But after a long day playing in the sun, the shower might be the best part of the house. It’s huge and luxurious and absolutely perfect. At first glance the Belle seems a little costly but when you see her, you realize it’s worth it! The Belle plus Emerald Coast Getaways equaled a wonderful vacation for us.

These guys were AMAZING! We were in Tower 5 of Portofino and absolutely LOVED it! Everything was in perfect order and the communication was outstanding. We had no questions and were treated great. The Condo unit was immaculate and very orderly. We had a great Gulf and Sound View from the Wrap around Balcony! We will definitely use Emerald Coast Getaways again very soon! Thanks for giving us a 5-Star Experience!

Stayed at one of their locations in Naverre. It was extremely clean and well managed. Check-in was easy and prompt. Mrs. Printiss was a dream to work with! It was fully stocked and completely organized. It made our vacation a breeze!

This was my 2nd time to come to Florida and it was the best! We stayed at South Harbour 10C. Donna was here to great us and was quick to respond to requests. The condo is comfortable and clean. The view was amazing! We would watch the sunrise from the front and sunset front the balcony. We got close up views of the ospreys flying. We walked everywhere! Can't wait to come back next year!

We have stayed several times with Emerald Coast Getaways and they are so helpful. We live in Pensacola and love our short stay-cations. We have scheduled in advance with Emerald Coast and at the last minute and each time Donna and Seneca have been amazing. They make sure we have everything we need; the property is clean and beautiful; and they followed up afterwards to see if we were satisfied. We would recommend Emerald Coast to anyone, local or first time visitors!

We have used Emerald Coast Getaways for a few years now. Donna Prentiss is wonderful. Very friendly and quick to respond. The condo we rent is beautiful and spotless. You can't find a better property rental company! Highly recommend!

Rented a condo at 1603 Emerald Isle for a quick vacation with my 2 adult children. The condo was amazing, the location was great and the staff at Emerald Isle Getaways were responsive and easy to work with. All of this combined for a fun, relaxing long weekend in paradise! I would 100% book this condo again and do so through Emerald Isle Getaways!
Robin T — Google review
Well, booked and paid up front 9 months in advance. Then got a call about 5 months later that condo was not available. Now everything is booked and they aren’t big enough to find us somewhere else to stay, and seem to have cared less. So, now we have 3 families that have taken off for week that have no where to go and disappointed kids. Wouldn’t advise anyone to use this place.

Fishing pier
Bob Sikes fishing bridge is a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts, located in Pensacola Beach/Santa Rosa Island. Accessible via the Bob Sikes Toll Bridge, it offers ample parking and clean facilities for visitors. While some have reported limited success with fishing, others have enjoyed crabbing in the area. The bridge is known for being a great place to find schools of fish, making it an attractive destination for anglers.
I have been coming here for about six months. I have been there as early as 4am and half the night as well. Not much luck on fishing 2 eatable fish in six months, but I have had some luck crabing, and to all lovers of fishing don't leave such a mess
S M — Google review
Went in January from Michigan, spent a few days there. Didn't catch much but there was a good amount of parking. The Porta potty was clean the first day, second day it was terrible but within an hour it was cleaned again. Very clean, open to public place to fish.
Ashton ( — Google review
Not much shade but FREE fishing pier! Restrooms as you walk out but have to dredge all the way back to use the free Port a potty. Concrete bridge with mostly local fisher-people!
Gary M — Google review
One of the pilings is literally MISSING underneath the pier, with chunks of concrete hanging off of it. This should be taken care of immediately so someone isn't conked on the head by at least a cubic meter of solid cement, and I hope this portion is blocked off.
Brenden ( — Google review
Great place to fish. Don’t use the port a pody . Filthy dirty and always overflowing with sewage.
Jim T — Google review

Could not have picked a better hotel! The staff was very kind, the entire hotel was very clean despite being right in front of the beach, amazing pool, easy access, plenty of things to eat and do nearby. I could go on and on. My friends and family had a fantastic time thanks to the beach being just steps away from the hotel. Towels were readily available and the pool had a great bar. The rooms were very clean and offered a great view. Housekeepers were very friendly and the desk staff were always polite and helped us when needed. I chatted with some other people visiting by the people and everyone was very impressed with the pool and hotel staff. Can’t recommend enough and we will definitely be back soon!

Probably 4 star for the value for the price, and it’s definitely the best hotel on Pensacola Beach. But if you are used to a real resort, a true 4 star, its not that. Decent food at the hotel and nice bar. Nice lobby and view. Pool and pool bar was decent enough as well. If you are coming to Pensacola it’s the place to stay.

My family and I, 2 boys (8, 11) stayed for 5 days and it was beyond our expectations. Beautiful location, our room was perfect and so roomy, the view of the beach amazingly beautiful! Staff was so welcoming and helpful! Zack I believe at the hotel restaurant was 1000% accommodating and so friendly, he remembered our names and preferences. Loved that! Our room was cleaned daily, breakfast options perfect, beach access perfectly accessible for only resort guests, super clean, pool area so nice and relaxing with a perfect bar with amazing drinks and food! Shops near by so convenient. We loved it! Definitely coming back next summer God willing! Thank you team! Y’all are AMAZING!!

We had a great experience at Pensacola Beach Resort June 20, 2025, everything from the beachfront views to the delicious food was absolutely wonderful. The grounds were maintained, the gym was HOT but clean and the peaceful atmosphere made for a perfect stay. What truly made our experience exceptional though, was the service from Donna, at Windrose Restaurant. From the moment I arrived, she went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed. She remembered our preferences, offered wonderful suggestions with genuine warmth. Its rare these days to come across someone so dedicated and kind. We enjoyed the experience and look forward to returning to stay at Pensacola Beach Resort.
