Theme park
PortAventura Park is a world-building theme park divided into five areas representing different continents, each with buildings and rides reflecting the culture of the country. The park features traditional entertainment facilities, roller coasters, rapids, 4D cinemas, and more. With over 1 million square meters of stunning landscape and 30,000 plant species, it offers a captivating experience.
Fantastic day out. Not been here since 2013, so 12 years on from then. We will be doing Ferrari Land another day before we leave the town. Since working out and becoming a bit wider in certain areas, I don’t fit on some of the rides. Due to the narrow bucket seats. Not a problem, but could do with a tester seat at some of the longer wait rides, so that the ride doesn’t get held up by not fitting in. Overall, very clean and enjoyable day.
Laura G — Google review
Nice theme park very spacious and organised. Very long queues and sometimes the rides get out off order due technical problems ( happened with us in several of them ) Food are overpriced for the quality and quantity and they charge a fee for the cup all the time . The shows are good decoration amazing area clean and organised. Worth a visit but you need to have patience for queues in every were
Happydays — Google review
Great experience for both adults and kids (8/10 y). We arrived on Saturday and stayed until Tuesday. A little bit crowded for top attractions but in 2 day we can touch them all. We had also checked at their hotel and I would strongly recommend, as you have 30min in advance exclusivity to the park in the morning before opening hours
Eu C — Google review
We, family of 4 (with an 8 and a 3 yo) were nicely surprised by this amusement park. We went in November during All Saints holidays and there was hardly any waiting time at the rides. Staff was really well made up for Halloween event, and the park was really nicely decorated. The only minor thing to improve would be to put a sign on the parking lot to remind people that it is forbidden to bring food and drinks to the park. An amazing experience to repeat longer next time!
Marie C — Google review
Super fun for all the family. There are a lot of attractions for small and big. Buy tickets in advance. There is a lot of people during the week and even more during the weekend. So you need to prepare yourself for a lot of queues to attractions or buy fast pass additionally, then you will not need to wait. Check the condition of fast pass as for example you will not be able to do one attraction every 15 min but you will need to have a 2h break. Don't forget to take sun cream as the is a lot of sun and not a lot of shadows. Food is not so good as there is a lot of people but it is eatable. Think to take a hotel in the park as there might be tickets to park and fast pass included and at the end it might be cheaper. If you will not get hotel in the park you will need to wait for the entrance to park a lot.
Magdalena — Google review
Amazing and very large park. If you want to ride all the thrill rides then you have to buy the express pass. Otherwise you have to stay in lines for hours and you will be absolutely disappointed and same goes for ferrari land. Puy the express pass before visiting because they will sell out fast even on weekdays.
Sigrit S — Google review
Too much waiting time. Why sell more tickets than there is space available for attractions? The reason is money — visitors’ comfort clearly isn’t the priority. Many queues are not shaded, and waiting under the sun quickly turns into a nightmare. On the positive side, the toilets are well-organized and clean. The shops, however, could be more reasonably priced given the high entrance fee. Overall, the park is beautiful and generally well-maintained.
Alexander M — Google review
This was a fantastic experience. There was lost of fantastic rides and areas to visit. Would suggest the 10 ticket fast pass for those on their first visit as the more popular rides can be a bit of a wait. However, there are plenty of rides for the family and not too long a queue. For them. The kids area "Seseme Street" was amazing for all not just the younger kids. Can't wait to go again.

Initially built in 1530 to protect the city from pirate attacks, it now stands as a cultural center hosting various exhibitions and events. Visitors can explore the premises free of charge and admire a collection of paintings by 20th-century artists.

unfortunately it was closed due to restoration works. While we couldn’t go inside, it was still impressive to see from the outside — a beautiful structure with great historical charm. It’s a shame we missed the full experience, but it’s good to know it’s being preserved for the future. We hope to return one day when it’s open again!

I am an art lover , and I have visited this gallery twice . On the first visit, the gift shop was closed , and when I stood at the door of the gallery with my son we were ignored by the male attendant inside who saw us, but was walking around talking on his mobile , so we waited for a while outside and then left, assuming the gallery was closed too .On my next attempt to visit there were several people outside the gift shop which was, again, closed . I entered the gallery this time and felt very unwelcome . My every movement was watched by the male attendant and when I asked simple questions, for example I wanted to buy a postcard of the poster of the last exhibition which I 'd missed I was told ,"no". And when I asked if I could come back and take pictures as there were no postcards ,I was told ,"no" . There was no smile, or helpfulness at any time .There should also be signs directing visitors to the gallery, and opening hours clearly displayed for the gift shop ! What a bad visitor experience .I think that the male attendant does not want anyone to visit this gallery .

Theme park
Located in Tarragona, Spain, PortAventura World is a seaside theme park that offers an array of attractions for visitors. The park is divided into six thematic areas: the Mediterranean, Polynesia, China, Mexico, the Far West and Sesamo Aventura. Each area features rides and shows related to its theme. From state-of-the-art roller coasters like Dragon Khan in China to live entertainment and water slides, there's something for everyone at this popular European destination.
I've wanted to visit this park for a long time, I've seen a lot of reviews on YouTube. And I finally came! The park itself is gorgeous, a huge area, a bunch of places with food and drinks, you can eat fast food, you can have salads, or you can find something interesting. It's also easy to choose from drinks, you can order lemonade, cola, beer, etc., there is ice cream. I advise you to buy an express ticket, we took it for 10 attractions, it was more than enough, otherwise you will stand in lines for 2 hours. We stood in line only for the slide from Ferrari, it took about 1 hour, but it was worth it!

Fantastic Day Out at the Water Park We had a fab day out—our kids absolutely loved it! We chose to go on a slightly cloudy day, which worked out perfectly for our youngest (age 5), as it made the heat more bearable. As expected during peak season, the queues were long—around 60 minutes for the popular attractions—but that’s to be expected in August. The park itself was very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of facilities including toilets, lockers, and lots of food and drink options. For lunch, we spent €85 for our family of five. That included 3 junior meals (pizza, chips, pudding, and a drink) and 2 adult meals (fish & chips, and chicken & chips). Food was decent, and service was efficient. Overall, a great family day out. The kids had a blast and will definitely sleep well tonight.
Kirsty H — Google review
Amazing amusement park! Would definitely go back sometime. The best advice is to buy express pass, as the waiting time for each attraction is between 40-60 minutes. We have visited the park on 16th October and it was so so crowded
Larisa U — Google review
PortAventura is full of variety and well worth the visit — but a little planning makes the day smoother with a tip. Bring a refillable bottle, as there are fountains around the park to top up. You’ll need at least 5–6 hours to cover the rides, especially with waiting times. The Express Pass really depends on when you go — we visited on a Tuesday at the end of September and rarely waited more than 30 minutes, though some rides did creep up to 50+ minutes at peak times. A good tip is to go for rides during or just after typical lunch hours, when queues are often much shorter.
K Z — Google review
Love this theme park . One of the best actual themed parks I've been too . The rides are all amazing. Although have to say was a bit disappointed with uncharted...it could have been so much better. The AR mine train was amazing with the serpents flying over your head. Not been here for 10 years and didn't see many changes or new rides since last time. But still great and my 5 time here
Richard H — Google review
Fantastic Port Aventura World This park has incredible rides, we loved it with my son. Our favourite was Furious Baco ! It was the 1st of January this year, so was not too crowded and a FANTASTIC way for us to begin the year. We will back we loved this park!
Paul V — Google review
Great place with many joyful experiences. There are thrills for all desires. Definitely advise to visit if you like rollercoasters and other exciting experiences. Best to go there in off-season when kids are back to school to avoid long queues. If attending during holiday breaks definitely think about express pass to enjoy there rides and not standing in wait.
Aleksandrs K — Google review
From the moment you are inside the park, everything is fantastic. All the staff we met were very kind and helpful, and the attractions themselves are amazing. If you find the waiting times too long, you can purchase an Express Pass to skip the lines. We bought the Express Unlimited, which gave us unlimited access to the 10 most popular roller coasters without waiting. Thanks to this, we managed to experience the whole park in just one day. We actually ended up visiting for three days because we enjoyed it so much, but it’s definitely possible to do it all in a single day with the Express option. The only real downside was the process before entering the park. Parking was smooth, but we wanted to redeem our free entry (thanks to our Efteling annual pass) at Guest Relations. At first, we couldn’t figure out where to go and couldn’t find staff to help us, except those in the ticket booths with massive queues. After waiting in line, we were sent from one place to another (in total, SIX times) before finally meeting another couple with an Efteling annual pass who kindly showed us where Guest Relations was. Unfortunately, it wasn’t just us: we later spoke to several other Efteling pass holders who had the exact same frustrating experience. It’s really not great that so many staff members were unable (or unwilling) to guide guests properly. Just imagine this lack of hospitality and helpfulness being your very first impression. Apart from that, PortAventura is an absolutely fantastic park that we would happily recommend and return to.

The stunning Santa Maria del Mar church in Barcelona's Born district is widely considered to be the city's most exquisite cathedral. It stands out for its gothic masterpiece architecture and unique spaciousness, which is uncommon for medieval buildings. Revered as the 'peoples cathedral,' it was funded partly by the church but constructed by the local community, particularly the dockworkers who transported large stones from Montjuic mountain quarry.
What beautiful architecture inside! These churches are always full of history, and if you are away from home and want to talk to god, what better place

Cala Penya Tallada is a charming and secluded cove in Salou, surrounded by fragrant pine trees and lush vegetation. With its 125-meter length and 10-meter width, this picturesque spot offers a small sandy beach for sunbathing. Despite being one of the best beaches in Salou, it remains relatively unknown to tourists, ensuring a peaceful and uncrowded experience.
Beautiful walk along the headland. It can be a bit undulating & you have to watch where you are walking because of uneven rocks & stones. There are a lot of steps. Part of the walk is on a properly built path & then other parts are on old established paths. The views across Salou are stunning. There aren't many cafes on route, so go prepared. A great way to pass a morning or afternoon.

Font Lluminosa, also known as the Luminous Fountain, is a captivating beachfront attraction located at the end of Paseo Jaume in Salou. Created by engineer Carles Buigas in 1973, this jetted fountain offers a mesmerizing light and sound show from Easter to November. Although recent droughts have affected its regular shows, when operational, it provides a romantic and enchanting experience for visitors.
absolutely beautiful place lots to see and loads off place to go to eat drink party. the beach is beautiful with lots of different beach bars all the way down that makes a fantastic sangria 😀 some market stalls where there and food stalls lots of dancing to . was a really good place to be would definitely revisit

Myself and my family visited the fountain which is absolutely FREE to watch and doesn't get overly crowded however the music and light show is only on for 15 mins and starts at 10pm most days.i wouldn't say its worth sitting and waiting for because at that time of night the cold winds blowing in from the sea but if your in the area around 10pm its worth a watch with the kids.

The Monument a Jaume I is located on the Jaume Promenade in Salou, serving as one of the most recognizable landmarks in the area. Erected in the 1960s, it commemorates an important 13th-century event when Catalan ships set sail to conquer part of the Balearic Islands from Moorish control.
Beautiful to watch the fountains go off on an evening . Ideal letting place with taxis readily available.

Foto obligada. Esta en el pasaje central. el cual debe ser arreglado, restaurado, y mantenerse limpio. Salou (Catalan pronunciation: [səˈlɔw]) is a municipality of the comarca of Tarragonès, in the province of Tarragona, in Catalonia, Spain. The city is approximately 10 km from Tarragona and Reus on the Costa Daurada and 112 km from Barcelona. Founded by the Greeks in the 6th century B.C., the coastal town was a notable commercial port during medieval and modern ages. Throughout the 20th century, Salou became an important European tourist attraction. Aside from its string of beaches interrupted by rocky coves, and its landscaped promenade, one of its main attractions is the PortAventura World resort. The Dutch movie Costa! and the television series with the same title were both filmed in Salou.

(Translated by Google) Casa Bonet is without a doubt the most impressive and beautiful building in all of Salou. Located directly on the beach promenade, it immediately draws attention with its elegant façade, ornate ornamentation, and imposing architecture. Every detail—from the curved balconies to the intricate ironwork and colorful tiles—exhibits the influence of Catalan Modernism at its finest. The villa appears like a work of art set between the sea and palm trees, reminiscent of the grand turn-of-the-century houses in Barcelona. Even though it is privately occupied and not open to the public, the view alone is worthwhile. Anyone strolling along Salou's promenade cannot miss Casa Bonet—it is the true heart and symbol of historic Salou.

Masia Catalana, built in 1974, is a themed architectural complex offering insight into the lives of Catalan peasant farmers from ancient times. The park authentically recreates ancient settlements and showcases traditional ways of life, including kitchen utensils and farming tools used centuries ago. Additionally, the site hosts a craft market open daily during specific hours. Located near Salou's municipal park, Masia Catalana features typical old houses found in Catalonia's countryside and villages.
I absolutely love this place. The buildings give a lovely sense of rural history, the wooden playpark is fab and the craft booths are super. Very friendly service at the bar. This is my favourite place to spend an evening in Salou. Very charming. Update July 2023: Delighted to see so many craft seller huts back to how it was pre-pandemic. Some lovely items for sale. Bar is gorgeous all lit up at night and the ladies who run it are lovely and always remember us! Didn't manage to catch any of the music acts this year, but wish I had...what a fantastic idea! Great to see Masia Catalana looking lit up and busy at night. There's the replica Masia to explore, a wooden playpark, bar, sometimes music, craft booths (and a WC - always handy!) Check social media etc for opening hours (it's also not open all year round - I wish it was still open in October when the rally's on!) Well worth an evening visit - it could become a favourite place to go if you love the place like I do!

An amazing find. Stone building lit up during the night time which you can explore. Independent market stalls with jewellery, handmade items and clothing. A small bar and seating area in the middle. So relaxing and chilled. A great vibe Our daughter loved the small play area

Great relaxed place . modest and perfectly priced. Surrounded by a nigh craft market. Much better than the other boisterous bars around

A very interesting looking place but seems a bit deserted, I have seens no guides/tours and information availble is almost non-existent. You can only guess the purpose of those buildings.

For value for money this place is fab! We paid £1500 for a week all inclusive and wasn't expecting much but we were presently surprised! We had a one bedroom apartment. Was plenty big enough all clean and fresh towels bedding every other day. Food was OK. Not much choice but we always found something to eat. The one drink per person rule is annoying but understand why they do it. Wasn't really a big deal. Now the best bit of our stay. The entertainment !! The team is fab. Always something fun going on. Kids loved it. Special thanks to demi for always making sure our little girl joined in. She will miss you loads. Ignore the bad reviews. Holidays are what you make and for what you pay it's above what I expected!

Stayed for 6 days. I know you get what you pay for so some good and bad. Food was ok, just not very hot. Inclusive drinks dont hardly include most spirits. We were there for 6 days. The room was not cleaned once. We had clean towels and beds made, but that was it. Ended up buying bleach. The pool was very cold, and you had to buy a sundowner mat. The reception staff were rude, acted like they didn't want to help or speak to you. Bar, restaurant staff were lovely. The entertainment team were great, made sure they entertainmed the kids and the adults. Cheap holiday with all the basics, but don't expect anything else

I stayed at Inter 2 in Salou for 5 nights with my two young children, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The apartment across the road we wore put in even though I had booked the hotel. The room was in a terrible condition. There was a constant unpleasant smell throughout, the doors were dirty, and the beds were broken the bars underneath offered no support, making them uncomfortable and unsafe. The sofa bed was absolutely filthy. It was in such a disgusting state that I wouldn’t even sit on it myself, let alone allow my children anywhere near it. To make matters worse, there were signs of bed bugs, which made the entire stay even more unbearable. We are covered in bed bug bites. The bathroom had a persistent foul odor coming from the toilet, which was never resolved. Rubbish bags were only collected once during our 5-night stay, adding to the overall poor hygiene with two small children. This accommodation is not maintained to an acceptable standard and is completely unsuitable for families. For the health, comfort, and safety of guests, I cannot recommend Inter 2 to anyone and would strongly advise booking elsewhere in Salou.

We arrived on 20th September and when we walked into our room it was nothing like the pictures. We went to reception and they offered another room but on the same floor, we took it because it was a lot better than the last one but still horrible. Everywhere was dirty and the smell in the room made me feel sick. We decided to try out the food for dinner, there were max 3 options of food to choose from, all cold and dry food. The hotel manager was not helpful at all, didn’t care about what we thought. We ended up moving hotels for the rest of our holiday because we just couldn’t stay here, would NOT recommend!!

Stayed here for 4 nights with 3 teenagers self catering and for what we paid it was absolutely fine. They had messed up our booking and put us in an apartment across the road but gave us free breakfast. Room was clean and adequate. Reception staff were all lovely. Lots of choice for breakfast, only gripe was that it was abit cold. Entertainment was great. We used both pools and there was a lovely atmosphere around both. Only bad thing was that you could hear people in the corridor at night. However there are lots of signs up telling people to be quiet after 11pm so not really the hotels fault.
Samantha D — Google review
This hotel is a great location for the main strip and beach. Strip is down the road and main beach is 15 min walk (small cove beaches are nearer too) the hotel itself is ok. Room was clean and tidy and maintained regularly. Staff in the reception and bar areas are friendly and very helpful. The restaurant staff are pleasant but on watching how some guests treat them and the restaurant it's no wonder the poor folks some times come across as miserable in other reviews. The food is ok, you can find something to eat from the selection available. Some mains where a little questionable and we made other choices. Drinks on all inclusive are not everything available but there was plenty to choose from and you can get a discount on what wasn't included. A few cocktails included would have made it a lot better. Pool area is good but loungers do get taken early on and are difficult to find later in the day should you try. Entertainment is very repetitive and very dated, music was a selection of about 20 songs on repeat every single day (sports bar varied the music they played and was so much better). Kids did get involved in a few of the daytime activities and a few shows brought in. It can be a little loud at night but this didn't affect us too much. In summary great location but cheap and cheerful and in need of a few updates and improvements.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Place is a joke. All inclusive does not mean all inclusive. Food was pathetic not even a meal for the kids. Staff not friendly. Rooms are a not in great condition. If your looking for a sub standard hotel this is for u.
Michelle M — Google review
We have just come back from a weeks stay here with friends and loved it. x4 13 year old girls and 7 over 30's (Family and Friends) The pictures don't really do this hotel any justice. Its much larger than it looks and offers plenty of entertainment and a few hidden gems... If you get an apartment you'll be over the road but there is a lovely quiet pool which not many know about at the back. There is also a bar on the back on the dining area called 'The Beer Garden' its open to the public via a small entrance off the main road but doesn't get busy. You can use your all inclusive here and have a few games of pools, darts or air hockey. It was a great find. Animation team kept everybody entertained from morning till night. The food is limited but the quality was above par... When you can feed so many fussy people and everyone enjoyed it, You're on the right path. The location was great to. 2 minute walk to the main strip (The quiet side) nice stroll down to the main beach via the strip taking about 20 minutes passing all sorts of shops, bars and restaurants. Our only issue was the plastic cups you get. If you lose it you have to pay 2 euro to replace. Its just painful carrying it around and running back to your room when you want to go out. 99% positive. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.
