Bodies of Water
Okanagan Lake is a picturesque destination surrounded by vineyards and orchards, making it a popular spot for boating and swimming. The area is also known for its romantic restaurants, with several eateries in Kelowna and West Kelowna making the list of Canada's most romantic restaurants. Additionally, the lake has historical significance, as it was used to transport windows from Ontario to Westbank United Church in 1938.
Wonderful lake. I swam at almost all of the coves/bays last summer. This summer I will be there, too.

Okanagan Lake, in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, is a long, deep freshwater lake stretching about 135 km between Penticton and Vernon. It’s a hub for recreation, offering swimming, boating, wineries along its shores, and scenic beaches in Kelowna and surrounding communities. The lake is also steeped in legend, said to be home to “Ogopogo,” a mythical lake creature that has become a local cultural icon.
Alireza A — Google review
Honestly speaking, Kelowna has nothing to offer, specifically during the time we went " September end". Price are hiked at hotels but did not give me value for money. Driving along the lake was good feeling, but wont be fun for othera

Very big and beautiful with lots of sandy beaches, lots of beautiful access. If you're into boats, many boat rental places available near by to get on to the lake. We rented an airbnb near the lake and it was wonderful. Very clean, the water looks very beautiful.

Hiking area
Myra Canyon Trail, also known as Myra Canyon Trestles, is a popular hiking trail located 25km from downtown Kelowna. The suggested route is an 8km return trip with no elevation gain, making it very easy and suitable for pedestrians and mountain bikers. The trail features 18 wooden trestle bridges and offers stunning views of the canyon.
Myra Canyon: walk or bike? I had heard so many great things about Myra Canyon, so I finally decided to check it out for myself. The only dilemma was—should we walk or rent bikes? Reviews were mixed: some said it was safe, others mentioned the lack of railings and potential danger. In the end, we chose to walk—and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The road to the canyon is well-paved, and the final stretch is a packed gravel road leading slightly uphill. The park has everything you need: parking, washrooms, and information boards. By May 10, the bike rental shop was already open, but the trail wasn’t too hot yet—perfect weather for hiking! We walked about 3 km one way, all the way to the tunnel, taking breaks on benches with stunning views. One thing to keep in mind—there’s very little shade along the trail, so sun protection is a must. Next time, I’d love to explore it by bike. And I’m already planning to come back in the fall, when everything turns golden. Myra Canyon is absolutely worth a visit!
Anastasiya L — Google review
This is such a great spot for walking and cycling. Our young kids did it no problem. Careful with the drive up the logging road, it is a bit rough. You can do as much or as little as you like, out and back. The bridges, tunnels, and interpretive signs are awesome. Views are fantastic.
Bradley M — Google review
Great trail for walking or biking. We chose the walk. The trail itself is much longer and you can choose how far you want to walk/ride. It took us 16 km in less than 4 hours, including a stop for a snack. There are two toilets and two storm shelters along the route. The road goes through a gorge, bridges and through the forest. It is good to have sunscreen and a baseball cap on a sunny day. Perfect flat trail for trip with children or pets
Anna C — Google review
Visiting Myra Canyon was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Kelowna! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking — the views of the Okanagan Valley from the trestle bridges are something you really have to see in person. Photos don’t do it justice. I walked along part of the trail and was amazed at how well maintained it is. It’s wide, flat, and easy to navigate, so it’s perfect whether you’re biking or just taking a leisurely walk. The trestle bridges and tunnels are incredible to see up close, and there’s so much history behind them. I loved stopping to read the little info boards along the way — it gives you a sense of how much effort went into preserving this spot. What I appreciated most is that you don’t need to be an extreme hiker to enjoy it. The trail is very family-friendly and you can go at your own pace, whether you want to do the full stretch or just a portion. The air feels so fresh up there, and it’s so peaceful — a nice escape from the busy city. I’d recommend bringing some water, snacks, and of course your camera because you’ll want to capture those views. If you’re visiting Kelowna, this is definitely a must-do activity. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and has that perfect mix of nature and history. I’ll 100% be going back, maybe next time with a bike to cover more of the trail!
Anurag M — Google review
This trail is the most beautiful location I’ve ever biked (and I’ve done many!). The path is very well taken care of, making it accessible to all levels and the landscape is gorgeous. We went in October and the weather was perfect! It was 2C yet there were some paths covered in soft ice. It felt like a mix of all seasons in one a piece of heaven!
Matheus P — Google review
We bike a lot and this is one of the best bike trails we've ever done. Very scenic, mostly flat - easy for kids too. Would recommend doing this in fall - look at the colours and no crowds. There is a bike rental at the parking lot - not sure about the hours of operation. It's in a little higher altitude so get dressed for the weather (last time in Kelowna was 20 Celsius and up there only 14). Loved it! Biked on Oct 7, 2025
Veronika E — Google review
The Myra Canyon Trail is absolutely mesmerizing — stunning views, historic trestle bridges, and a unique outdoor experience. A must-do if you’re in Kelowna. The full trail is about 12 km one way (24 km round trip). It’s flat since it was built on old railway tracks, so biking is the most practical and popular option. Families and casual riders can complete it in about 40 minutes one way. Walking is possible, but keep in mind 24 km is a lot — most walkers choose a shorter section just to enjoy the bridges and views without committing to the entire length. Tips: Bike rentals are available in the parking, right at the trail entrance. Renting a bike is easy but book in advance, especially tandems (hard to get). Rentals start around $50; e-bikes are available. Opens at 9 AM and 1 PM; mornings are best as it gets busy. Bikes are geared and well-maintained. Washrooms available on the trail. About 23 km from Kelowna downtown; last 8 km is gravel road, winding and uphill, so drive carefully. Bottom line: Perfect for bikers, worth it even for walkers who just want to explore a few trestles and soak in the breathtaking canyon views.
Abhishek M — Google review
Absolutely beautiful bike ride took us about 2 hours roundtrip. We parked at the Ruth station entrance to start at trestle 1. Lots of parking there since most people go to the other entrance however the drive up is quite something. Lots of sharp corners and gravel road not in the best condition but should be fine with most SUVs and pickups. The trail is stunning and super easy on bikes since it's so flat. Right after trestle 18 you get a beautiful view of Kelowna.

Waterfront Park is a charming city park located in Kelowna's city center, offering stunning views of Okanagan Lake and the surrounding landscape. The park features a picturesque boardwalk that stretches along the lake, providing an ideal setting for leisurely strolls and capturing Instagram-worthy moments, especially during autumn when the foliage turns vibrant shades of red and gold. Additionally, visitors can enjoy public art displays, beautifully landscaped gardens, and frequent outdoor performances at the park.
Small sand area, not too crowded. You can walk to the west Kelowna bridge via the harbour and park paths, about 40 minutes without rushing. Many restaurants and play options. The pathway is wide but be careful with bikes and skateboards as it is shared, kids need more attention walking both ways. Well maintained, there is a public water park and a large playground near the bridge, a roller skate area in the middle that converts to ice skating in winter, and a floating paid park in a section of the Okanagan lake. Beautiful natural landscape.

Really beautiful place to hang out. Especially in the warm evenings after dinner. Every time we are out there the waterfront park area is a visit. Really clean, really friendly and just a wonderful place. Highly recommend the area. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a really beautiful place, like a portrait. The roads and walkways are designed beautifully that you can enjoy the nature flawlessly. You can do lots of activities, like walking, biking, boating, etc. Swimming is not allowed in this area, I believe. You will be amazed after visiting this site. Parking is paid and sometimes hard to find a suitable spot.
Ashraful B — Google review
Truly amazing place to explore. Lots of shops on the waterfront. Great places to grab a coffee and enjoy the views. Appears to have lots of entertainment going on. Beautiful flowers and we'll maintained gardens. You can rent water skis and if you feel like some adventure parasailing. Only down side, there is lots of homeless people wondering around. But never felt threaten or was harassed. There was an abundance of wild life to see. If you are in the area totally worth the trip. Grab a great local coffee and and enjoy the views.
Wade F — Google review
The entire waterfront and park area is a great spot to visit. Plenty of green space to enjoy the sun and amazing water view as well. The water near this specific spot near the fountain stinks a little bit since it's probably not circulated or cleaned regularly. Plenty of cheap parking nearby, so that's a plus too.

Discover the rich history of the Okanagan region by visiting the Father Pandosy Mission, a National Historic Site that offers a glimpse into the early European settlement in Kelowna. Established in 1859 by French Roman Catholic Oblate missionaries, this site includes heritage buildings such as a chapel, schoolhouse, and blacksmith shop. Learn about the daily lives of both European settlers and the syilx people who have inhabited the area for centuries.
The scenery is absolutely beautiful with some well-preserved historical buildings. It's easy to find this place empty, so it's great for looking around or photo sessions.

I really enjoyed this little museum — it has a charming green space and a peaceful vibe. Entrance is free, but there’s a donation box if you’d like to contribute. The miniature houses and displays are beautifully done and fun to explore. It’s a lovely spot to stop by if you’re visiting Kelowna. Just keep in mind that it seems to be closed on Sundays and possibly other holidays. I first went on a Sunday and it was closed, but I came back on Monday and it was open. It doesn’t take long to walk through, but it’s definitely worth seeing. A hidden gem that adds a cozy touch to your trip!
Eva Z — Google review
The museum is a collection of buildings and implements which showcases the early European settlers’ lifestyle in the Kelowna region.

The site is run on donations and it is worth donating! The property is lovely and well maintained and it's really cool that you can explore the buildings at your own space. It's worth a visit .

Father Pandosy Mission is definitely worth seeing if you’re interested in the history of Kelowna. The farm is 5 minutes from downtown with parkings available. This is the place where father Pandosy first settled and you get to see what they did back then and how life was. Their church, school, farmhouse and all the things they made with hands for their living.
Ehsan S — Google review
I went out to attend the drop in archery class with my partner, from what I saw the site is extremely well preserved. Plenty of items donated from within the community that helps shape the image of how the Okanagan was. The buildings are in nice condition as well, most you can enter. All and all a great experience, traffic is dense in the area. I suggest if you're going to turn left in, to to the end of the street and there's a roundabout. Go around and you can turn right into the establishment, trust me it saves a lot of time waiting for a gap on that street.

Guisachan Heritage Park, spanning 2.4 acres, is a delightful destination for garden tours and special events. The park features the historic Guisachan House Restaurant, once the summer residence of the Earl and Countess of Aberdeen in the 1890s. Surrounded by perennial gardens with a variety of flowers, some originally planted in the 1920s by subsequent owners, the Cameron family, this site offers captivating garden tours and delectable cuisine at its restaurant.
It’s such a pleasure to visit this beautiful garden in the summer months. I’d like to say a big thank-you to the head gardener there, a lovely lady who is always kind to us in our little group when we go. We always feel welcome and it’s such a beautiful place.

My son and daughter in law were married there September 9, 2023. Guest list was over 100 and while it was close quarters it was not cramped!! The venue itself for an outdoor wedding ceremony was spectacular. The inside venue was cut up for into smaller rooms based on the fact it is a “heritage” building and unchangeable”. Food 10/10. Incredible choice of soup, salad, chicken or salmon and delectable desert. Staff constantly on the go! Everyone was served within 5-10 minutes of head table!! They were never idle. Cleaning glasses, dishes and venue pristine all evening!!! Amazing 💒💗amazing and more AMAZING 💒💗

Beautiful location and a nice quiet place to visit. Gardens are well maintained and showcase a wide variety of plants and flowers. Lots of shade from trees. Also seems to have a couple heritage buildings on site, but the gardens are the best part.

Zoo
Kangaroo Creek Farm, located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, is a unique and family-friendly destination where visitors can immerse themselves in an up-close experience with a variety of fascinating marsupials. The farm is home to diverse kangaroos, wallabies, emus, goats, sugar gliders, and other exotic animals. It offers an educational opportunity for visitors to learn about animal habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts.
Make sure to save PLENTY of time to take it all in! We were on a tight schedule of the many things we wanted to do while in Kelowna from Alberta. But our greatest regret from the trip is not allowing more time at the kangaroo Farm. First of all, the amount of love, dignity and respect they show to the animals is why why the animals are also chill! It was a little bit pricey to get in for a family of six but worth every penny! Everyone from the adults to teenagers and toddler all had a wonderful time. They could have stayed there all day! But they do close at 3:00 p.m. so make sure that you keep that in mind. Most of the animal handlers were very friendly except for the bird guy.. he took his job a little too seriously. But once again care for the animal is their primary concern, which isn't the bad thing. All of the staff were knowledgeable and genuinely loved the animals. I think 4 hours would probably be a good amount of time to spend here. Just like most places, the snack stand is outrageously priced. But it's really nice that they supply little treats to feed the animals, for free. I know some zoos and such make you pay coins for treats. We had an absolute blast and would definitely go back!
MRW — Google review
My family and I had a great time exploring the park. There’s lots to see in the staff were super friendly. Some of the amenities could be worked on as as well as the cleanliness of the washrooms, I’m sure it’s a busy place but for the price they charge With concessions and entry, they should have people on duty making sure things are clean. It can get very hot there so I would recommend bringing something to keep you cool like an umbrella. Overall off on place to take company from out of town
Joshua S — Google review
It's a fun experience for the entire family. Being able to walk between the wallaroos and kangaroos is enchanting for all ages. The place is beautiful, lots of space for a picnic (although they do sell snacks and beverages). You really need to come during the low season and on a weekday. The place can get packed fast.
Katerine G — Google review
Came all the way here from Maple Ridge to see the kangeroos because it’s cheaper than flying to Australia. It was for my daughter’s birthday as she loves animals and especially kangeroos. We had a great time. The capybaras and the sugar glider were surprising fan-favourites. My kids (9, 10 & 16) all liked the rabbits and pigs too. We got bored around the two hour mark. The animals are pretty docile and pretty much just lie around. I hope they’re happy here. Although we can feed them they don’t really want to be fed (must be full). One pig had a tantrum at the end and got really loud. Coming here is something you must do once but probably would never come again. Some of the staff were great and others seemed a little harsh with kids. Prices are a little high but if it’s mostly going towards the animals’ care that’s fine.
Tara A — Google review
I love kangaroo creek farm so much. I’ve been there many many times and I’ve never had a bad day there. They have local honey as well available for sale outside the grounds (also delicious). I love that you can interact with so many different species. They have capybara, kangaroos, bennetts wallabies, a Patagonian Mara, a porcupine, sugar gliders and more. This is one of my favourite places in the world. @katjaspov on Instagram for more of my favourite spots 🥰
Katja M — Google review
I recently visited Kangaroo Creek Farm in Kelowna, and honestly, it’s such a fun and unique spot, especially if you have little kids. The farm gives you the chance to get up close with kangaroos, wallabies, capybaras, parrots, and even some exotic animals you don’t usually see in Canada. It’s hands-on, interactive, and way more personal than a traditional zoo experience. What makes it really special is how relaxed and welcoming the vibe is — the animals have space to roam, and you get the chance to feed and pet them at your own pace. The staff are super friendly too, always happy to answer questions and make sure the kids are having a great time. Tickets are about $20 per person, its about 1 hours trip. And they have shows at 11:30 and 1:30 every day i believe. I’d say it’s the kind of place where kids can learn, explore, and have fun all at once, and adults will definitely enjoy it too. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Kelowna, Kangaroo Creek Farm is definitely worth adding to your list — it’s one of those experiences you’ll remember for a long time.
Uzair A — Google review
A very lovely farm with lots of different animals to see! The kangaroos are super friendly and you can even pet them. It’s a perfect spot for a fun date or a family outing — very kid-friendly and relaxing overall.
Alisha_Jira — Google review
We went to the Kangaroo Creek Farm in July and were so excited to see the animals. The farm was busy when we got there but parking was easy to find. It was a very hot day and we were worried the animals would be hiding or not around for us to see. Upon entering, we went to the capybara and sugar gliders. They were out, and although the heat made them lazy, we got to pet and hangout with them and even hold a sugar glider. The kids enjoyed the show we watched, which was quick and engaging. The bird exhibit was fun and they were all hanging out. The emu feeding was awesome and we enjoyed watching it interact with people. The kangaroos were pretty lazy and weren’t interested in eating our treats but we couldn’t blame them because it was +35. It was fun to see the babies and watch them be bottle fed. There was even a momma with one in its pouch, which was cool to see. The facilities were clean and we enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend to anyone going to Kelowna to check out the farm and hangout with the animals.

The distillery offers a walk-in tasting room near Okanagan Lake where visitors can learn about the art of craft distilling while enjoying farm-to-flask spirits.
Booked a tasting and had an amazing time. Learnt about the history of the distillery and the varied products they produce. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Seems more of a family business were staff are passionate about the products they are making. Tried some very tasty products. If you like gin, whisky’s and other spirits or just want to learn about a cool Canadian distiller I would highly recommend booking a tasting.

Had a great time with our distiller/bartender Kyle today at Okanagan Spirits. Had the opportunity to taste some great whiskey’s and my wife had a refreshing spring blossom. Always enjoy trying new local tastes when we travel and this little gem in Kelowna didn’t disappoint. If you enjoys Spirits I highly recommend a visit.

There are certain places that feel more discovered than visited. Tucked behind quiet doors and whispers of juniper and oak, Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery doesn’t shout. It doesn’t need to. It waits, like a well-dressed secret, ready to turn the afternoon into something worth writing about. You step in. There’s a knowing glint in the eye of the staff—equal parts alchemists, storytellers, and proud conspirators in the noble art of distillation. They bring you a whisky flight, and you nod with the quiet seriousness of a traveler who has read every chapter on Scotland and still wants more. But this? This is British Columbia at its most deliciously defiant. The Single Malt—ah, the Single Malt. It drinks like a fireside confession: soft smoke, a whisper of spice, a note of caramel that vanishes just as your mind tries to catch it. Perfection in a dram. Then came Absinthe—green, elusive, a touch dangerous. The tasting was like stepping into a Toulouse-Lautrec painting… and maybe out the other side. Herbaceous, layered, and far too civilized for its scandalous reputation. And yet, it was the unapologetic charm of their 1.75L BRBN Bourbon-Style Whisky that won my heart. A bottle so commanding it practically came with a front porch and a rocking chair. I didn’t resist. I couldn’t. My only wish? That their gift box selection was as abundant as their imagination. Because something this good should be easier to wrap up and give away—though you’ll never want to. Recommendation: One flight, one green fairy, and one oversized bottle of courage.

This place is awesome for gifts and to kill an hour with boozey fun tastings/cocktails! Derek was really knowledgeable and made me want to buy everything! Going back tomorrow with a friend for another tasting!

This place was just amazing. First off they had dog treats outside the door for our girls as we walked in. Then when we were in we were greeted by two amazing and friendly guys. We do a tasting and Troy was super awesome and very knowledgeable. The gins and whiskeys were great. My only disappointment was in myself that I haven’t been to them sooner. Definitely recommend. Will be the first stop for us next time we go back to Kelowna

We had an amazing experience tasting things and drinking cocktails. Riley was our bartender. His knowledge and personality made the whole experience even better!! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys spirits and cocktails and fun.

Wow, wife just came back from BC and although she couldn’t find these in the store she had them shipped to me. Staff was nice enough to include a custom note, LOL. I’ve drank a lot of Bourbon in my life. More than I care to admit. I’ve also been to most of the distilleries in Tennessee and Kentucky. Today though I am beaming with Canadian Pride having tasted these two whiskies. Damn they are good. Really good. BRBN: Smooth, creamy. Slight smokiness. Los of caramel. Very easily my new daily drinker. BLK BRBN: for 52% ABV it’s very smooth. Sweet, Vanilla. Butterscotch. Oak. Just amazing. As good as or even better than any of the big hitters out of the US. I’m thinking Rabbit Hole, Angels Envy etc etc. You’ve really outdone yourself. Just amazing. Thank you so much.

Nestled in the heart of British Columbia's Okanagan region, the Okanagan Heritage Museum is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts and curious travelers alike. This captivating museum takes you on a journey through time, showcasing an array of exhibits that highlight the area's rich past—from ancient tools and fossils to artifacts from early European settlers and Indigenous cultures. The interactive displays make learning about local wildlife and historical events engaging for visitors of all ages.
Really cool with heavy focus on the local indigenous (Syilx/Okanagan) way of life and repercussions of colonialism. The School Life Special exhibit was awesome and lovely to experience! Made me want to see the Sncewips Museum but tragically it’s too far out of my way this visit!
Clio — Google review
I visited this museum using the Canoo app, expecting it to be free — but the entry was $8. The museum is very small and the entire visit takes only a short time. Parking is paid and extremely difficult to find, especially on holidays. Even though there were only about five people inside, the parking lot was completely full. Honestly, if I hadn’t gotten it for free, I wouldn’t have felt it was worth it. The exhibits are limited and not very engaging for adults. It might be more appealing to kids, but not something I’d return to. Overall, not a must-visit — just okay if you’re nearby and it’s free.

the lady at the front was really nice. i thought the little creatures (the taxidermy animals) were super epic sauce. 9/10 it was cool wish the dinosaur exhibit had more things to look at. i would go again.

I recommend this place to bring your family for exploring history behind the formation of Okanagan Valley. Well, They have ancient windows of few retail stores and house at display, all are presenting in a great way. But, I was little shocked to see those birds and animals being used to display as a showpiece.

The most comprehensive museum for everything about the Okanagan's history and environment. Great variety of exhibits from different cultures and locations, spanning thousands of years. An absolute must visit. Give yourself at least 1.5 hours to see everything.
Xiao L — Google review
Having visited many large and well curated museums around the world, I found this to be a mighty little gem in Kelowna. Interesting artifacts. There's even a stuffed grizzly bear! On a more sombre note, the acknowledgement of both indigenous reconciliation and the history of racial displacement in Kelowna and the Okanagan (an important part of its history) was front and centre and something I wholly appreciated. I happened to make it in time for the travelling exhibit on the Japanese dispossession during and after World War II. It was a sobering, but much needed storytelling of the Japanese-Canadian experience (especially from the coast/lower mainland) throughout and past internment because of the war. A great little museum and worth a visit. I spent 2.5 hours on both the main and special exhibits (but I read every single placard in the museum). You probably only need 45 minutes to an hour if you just look at the artifacts and skim the placards.
Yvonne C — Google review
Very well done museum, featuring many areas of the natural world, history, indigenous matters, local culture and industries. Great panoramic photos comparing 1912 to present day. (Reduced opening days in the off-season.)

Good local museum. Lots of indigenous information and perspective. Large reproductions of indigenous and settler buildings. Tonnes of artifacts and interactive pieces (not currently accessible for health safety reasons). Temporary Bat exhibit was very educational. Good physical distancing and mask use.

Nestled in the heart of history, Benvoulin Heritage Park is a charming destination that beautifully marries the past with present-day celebrations. Originally built in 1892 in the Gothic Revival style, this picturesque church has been a beloved landmark for over a century. After serving its community until 1964, it underwent restoration and was revitalized in 1986, ensuring its architectural beauty remains intact.
Perfect small wedding venue. Both picturesque and very accommodating for all wedding needs. We hosted our wedding here in Fall of 2023 and would could not have chosen a better space!

Stunning venue. We were lucky enough to attend a friends wedding here. Just down from bustling downtown Kelowna. The chapel and building are rich with history, and a great way to take a break from the heat. Smaller parking lot, so best to carpool if possible. Small kitchen, and lots of bathrooms (wheelchair accessible and baby change pad share). It was an amazing day, in a beautiful corner of the city

Benvoulin Heritage Church is such a stunning, unique wedding venue. It is wonderful for smaller weddings; the church is beautiful with lots of natural light, which, as photographers, is a huge asset! The historic space has such a sweet vibe and the outside grounds are also outstanding!

Saw this heritage church when driving by. Beautifully situated in a garden. Excellent historical info boards. You can see inside the church through the windows, where the pews are in a unique semi circle
Val P — Google review
Good location for small events. The grounds are well taken care of in the spring/summer with flowers and green grass. The patio area with a pergola is often used for events, such as weddings and funerals with chairs set out on the lawn. The actual building is an old heritage building, with a church sanctuary and reception area. It looks nice and definitely holds on to that heritage feel. The cost of renting the building/grounds is overpriced for the area. You're pretty much paying for the look. Inside the buildings, things are starting to fall apart. It looks like it's mostly from neglecting the basic maintenance needed to control normal wear and tear. Also, the sanctuary has some major health concerns such as the extreme amount of dust and the smell of mildew. These things are always present, but get better or worse depending on the season.
Ashley — Google review
Benvoulin Heritage Park was so great for our small wedding. Kathy and the amazing team who take care of the grounds and the church are so kind and accommodating and easy to work with. We loved that we could have a non-denominational ceremony with a church feel because it is a heritage site. The church is beautiful and so simple that we are the clear focus in our wedding pictures. The grounds are also amazing - the fall colours made for an amazing background when we took group pictures outside.

Nestled in the picturesque Myra Canyon just a short drive from Kelowna, Myra Canyon Adventure Park offers an array of thrilling activities for visitors of all ages. From rope climbing courses and zip lines to team-building games and specialized physical activities, the park provides endless entertainment. Families can also take advantage of on-site amenities such as BBQs, firepits, and picnic tables for a well-deserved break between adventures.
Awesome experience taking our 12 & 15 year old nephew/niece there for the afternoon! We did the “big kid” high rope adventure course and zip lines. There are 6 different courses to choose from, some very challenging but all do-able! Definitely make time for the zip lines. We spent 3 hours there but it could have been more! Options to buy a few snacks, but I’d recommend packing something. There are places to have a picnic and eat. Washrooms too. There was a chance of rain/thunderstorm when we went and they said they would possibly have to close the course, but luckily they did not as the clouds stayed away. So, check the weather before you go. Owner and staff was very nice, albeit a little lax on safety (these were their words— referring to other staff that didn’t know/enforce some safety rules). Nonetheless it was a great day! Would recommend and return!
A. M — Google review
Overall was a great experience, I wanted to be challenged with the different difficulties they had for courses. Felt like a full body workout but in the most fun way! Had to mentally push myself through the fear, which I thought was cool :). Amazing views of the mountains and the valley, stopped a couple times during courses to take some pictures. Only rated it 4/5 because I thought the zipline part would be more than just 3 short lines. Learned then that this place is definitely obstacle course dominant. Would highly recommend for a good mental booster and workout :).

This was a great adventure park. Many different obstacles with stunning views to go with it. A great work out to go with it all.

I took my hiking buddy here on the 8th of August, (did this 6 years ago) we did a lot of adventures but this was another level of adventure for her, she had a blast. What I can recommend is bring gloves to protect your hands from blisters, there's a lot of obstacles, unfortunately 5 were closed cause the tree died but they did put more zip lining to enjoy. Staff were friendly and nice, we had a blast. We wil come back again next year. (From Alberta)

We attended the Scare Walk for Halloween and let me tell you I have never been so scared in my life!!! It was the best Halloween experience I had, I actually felt like I was in a horror movie….and I don’t get scared easily! The props were great, the walk through the forest was long, and the live actors did a great job scaring the 💩 out of us!
Shab F — Google review
This trail was terrifying! My friend and I screamed the whole way. The staff were incredibly helpful; besides scaring us, they were also very kind and gave us directions. The path was a bit dark, but perfect for Halloween. One of the staff members told us that this haunted park is the scariest in Kelowna. I totally agree! 😂 You definitely have to come here for a unique Halloween experience! 🎃
Sunny — Google review
Came here for the scare park and it was a ton of fun! The trail took us about 45 mins to walk and had actors popping up to scare us! Even though it was pouring rain, it didn't take away from the adventure we were having. I do wish they had a bit more light in certain areas so we could see all the cool decorations and effects they had put in place, as flash wasn't permitted. Cool spot to check out this Halloween!

The Train Station Pub is a charming eatery located in a beautifully restored 1926 railway station in Kelowna's Downtown. This historic pub offers an elevated Canadian grill menu featuring local craft beers and wines. The brunch menu boasts traditional favorites like chicken and waffles, as well as more adventurous options such as Pakora benny and breakfast poutine. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, this venue serves as both a community hub and a place for casual gatherings.
A great spot for any meal. The staff are fun and worth sitting at the counters. We had dinner and brunch and food was fantastic (try the happy hour hot dog for an excellent bread experience). The patio featured WATER MISTERS for hot days (!!!) A lovely patio with comfortable seating.

Great Food, Lovely Patio & Exceptionally Pet-Friendly! We had a wonderful dining experience — the food was delicious, the patio was perfect for a relaxed meal, and the service truly stood out. What made it even better was how welcoming they were to our pet. It's not easy to find places that go out of their way to accommodate furry friends, but this spot absolutely does. Highly recommend for pet lovers looking to enjoy a great meal with their companion by their side!

First time here on a Saturday night with no reservation and we were able to get a table for two no problem inside or outside. Parking is free for 3 hours as long as you are dining you just scan a code on your phone. The menu is simple and I had the lamb burger and my husband had the chicken burger Both burgers were equally delicious and a combination of flavors were magnificent. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. Definitely would like to come back here and try some other items on the menu. Cuz they all looked really good.

Stopped in at the Train Station Pub on a Friday night in mid-June, and the experience was absolutely top-tier. The atmosphere was electric — the perfect mix of laid-back and lively, with great music, a buzzing crowd, and that signature Kelowna summer vibe rolling through the open-air patio. You could feel the energy of the weekend just kicking off. I had the Korean wings and the Game Day Dog, and both were out-of-this-world good. The wings were crispy, packed with flavor, and had just the right amount of heat. The Game Day Dog was a full-on flavor bomb — bold, juicy, and loaded with toppings without going overboard. Everything tasted fresh, made with care, and hit the comfort food sweet spot without feeling greasy or overdone. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly knew how to keep things running smoothly even on a busy night. It’s easy to see why this spot is a local favorite — cool historic setting, killer food, and a vibe that makes you want to stay for another round. Whether you're a local or just visiting Kelowna, the Train Station Pub should be on your must-hit list.

I’ve ordered the beef and broccoli many times, and it’s usually good. But this time the beef was just awful — it was so overcooked and soft that it completely fell apart. It had a mushy, pasty texture that made it really unappetizing. I also asked for no chili flakes and my dish still came with them. I am really disappointed with this order. Not worth the $24+ tip.
Koby H — Google review
The best poutine in town and good food all around. Quaint train station ambiance. Lovely presentation. Remember to save your license plate number, as soon as we sat to eat not 90 seconds later the meter maid descended on the lot. I recommend ordering the nachos and the poutine as the apps are large and shareable.
J L — Google review
Service was above and beyond, food was also great! Dog friendly patio (even a pup menu). Megan was our server and was so lovely!
Shannon M — Google review
The ambiance is fantastic! Dining inside a beautifully converted old train station provided a unique and cozy backdrop for our Thanksgiving dinner. The service was very good—our server was attentive, and the pace of the meal felt just right. A major highlight was the drinks menu; the cocktails were truly delicious and perfectly crafted. However, the Thanksgiving meal itself missed the mark. The food was generally quite salty, and I found the vegetables disappointingly overcooked. Given that the overall experience was on the expensive side, the quality of the main meal was a letdown. On the upside, arriving late on a public holiday meant parking was easy and stress-free. I'd definitely return for the atmosphere and drinks, but I might stick to less complex items on the regular menu.

I had the pleasure of attending a group tour to the Sncewips Heritage Museum, and I would highly recommend it! Coralee was an inspiring and wonderful storyteller; we learned about the history of the Syilx peoples, which was very eye-opening. I feel like everyone should visit this museum at least once in their life to better understand the atrocities of colonialism. Big thanks to the museum for accommodating our group of 25 - everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

Wow what a treasure trove of knowledge there is here, especially if you're lucky enough to learn from Coralee! We initially went to learn a little about Westbank First Nation and ended up staying half the day, reading the signs, watching the videos and learning so much from Coralee herself on syilx history/culture and the Westbank First Nation's long journey to self-governance. Must visit!

4 of us were at the Candlelight Coldplay Concert held at Laurel Packinghouse last night. The setting is awesome - incredibly beautiful old structure built of big solid beams, solid fir rafters & original exposed brick. Very cool setting. I love Coldplay - we saw them in Vancouver last Sept - and the 4 piece stringed quartet was very good. It was tough not to sing along! If there was 1 thing I'd do differently - I'd mic & mix the quartet - crank up the volume - make it a fully immersive experience - but - it was very good! Definitely enjoyed it & would recommend it.

They went all out with draping at the beautiful, Laurel Packinghouse. As a wedding officiant for Love Story Ceremonies I performed my first ceremony here. I am also the Laurel Coordinator so I’ve had the opportunity to see many weddings set up and I think my favourite is when the old wooden beams and historical essence is allowed to reveal itself. Basically steels your money They make automatic withdrawals at midnight rather than when the bill actually comes out in real time Today my wife deposited $1400 in the bank, with a healthy previous balance to cover any bills. She e transferred her mother the $1400 she deposited and all bills bounced that day for no reason Of coarse they will refund me the NSF fees they charged us, but I’m on my own for the companies billing us NSF fees And only after I call and complain This happens constantly. Never with our other banks who have there withdrawals and deposits done in real time. They are steeling!!!!!

What a horrible bank. I ordered euros a few days ago online for a trip. It said they’d be in today. Not only did it not arrive in time for my trip, they wouldn’t even refund me until the order does come in some time next week after I’ve left…. So they just fail to live up to their own service standard, then also hold on to my cash for no reason, preventing me from taking it somewhere else to get euros. Luckily I’ve already stopped doing almost all of my banking with RBC, but I’m sure gonna get rid of my last account and credit card now. And will encourage anyone who will listen to do the same.

The parking was a much better experience than dealing with the rude manager and mutual fund sales person inside. I didnt want mutual funds but they appear to put that person on all enquiries. Nothing was solved.

Trevor Shuttleworth believes it ok to remove funds from seniors retirement fund I am out $70,000.00 and he says it's not his problem. The investment group is running two scams now first one is short selling stocks. You give them a dollar they sell you 99 cents worth of stocks. They then bill you their "billing rate" plus one cent. RBC website posts 17 million investors so that would calculate to $ 340,000.00 per transaction your two cents goes towards. As this is unreported income gets written off to balance the books. I am pretty sure there is more than one transaction per day so this would add up to millions of dollars daily. The second scam is "churning transaction fee's" they split up one type of stocks into different accounts so you pay multiple transaction fees for the amount of stocks you previously only paid one transaction fee on. Stay away from these criminals.

Historical landmark
Nestled on Ellis Street, the Old Cannery Building is a fascinating piece of Kelowna's history. Initially established in the early 1900s by the British North American Tobacco Company for drying tobacco leaves and rolling cigars, it soon transformed into a bustling cannery as the Okanagan's rich fruit resources were discovered. Fast forward to today, this charming structure has been revitalized and now serves as home to BNA brewery.

Located in the heart of Kelowna's Cultural District, BNA Brewing Co. is a trendy independent craft brewery housed in a former tobacco warehouse. The rustic chic brewery and restaurant offer a cozy Canadiana vibe with taxidermy moose head decor. The on-site eatery serves up dishes like mushrooms on toast, fried cauliflower, zucchini "fries", beef rendang, pizzas, and fish tacos to cater to various palates.
Quite the trendy gem of a pub style restaurant! Excellent drinks, food and service! Try all the happy hour menu items, will not be disappointed. Smash burgers super tasty, Caesar salad is the best recipe ever, they even sell the dressing at grocery stores! Steak sirloin also tender and top notch. Very well run place!

Nice place with arcades to play and also they were more games. My kids loved it. There is kids meal and soft ice cream. My chicken burger is ok. I want a plain one, it was written on the receipt but they still put pickles in it. So 4 star from for being inattentive.
Delightfully G — Google review
The Caesar drink was the bare minimum but I thought they would be better, it was very watered down. The chicken wings fell off the bone but were so dry they were hard to eat. The Caesar salad wasn’t a Caesar at all, with random soggy apples and brussels sprouts tossed in and no real Caesar dressing flavor. Caesar salad should have a Caesar salad dressing and not chipotle. The bao buns were hands down the worst I’ve ever had the mustard seeds, crusty pork belly, and odd seasoning combo were pretty bad couldn’t even finish it. This place seriously needs to rethink its recipes. I promise I don’t always leave bad reviews but food was bad. Service was great though and clean big bathrooms.

When we arrived, we were looking forward to some great beer and classic pub fare, but we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and service truly blew us away! We found the staff incredibly pleasant, the lounge seating was super comfortable, and the menu? Absolutely outstanding. We highly recommend the pizzas, truffle fries, and fish tacos, and the Southern chicken is an absolute must-try.

Huge place. 2 floors. Bowling bocce and arcade games upstairs. Also upstairs is a speakeasy which was pretty cool. Service was great. Got the Wagyu beef dip and was not disappointed. Good list of beers and drinks. Seems like an awesome place for a big party.

We had a spectacular experience at BNA while visiting from Vancouver. We started off with the Monday night bowling special during happy hour and had a blast! Service was quick, the atmosphere was fun vibes, and the truffle fries were bomb! We then moved down to the restaurant for dinner where our great experience continued. The food and drinks were delicious and felt we got amazing quality for the value. Everyone in the group raved about their meals, the guava sour was an absolute hit, and I highly recommend the fried chicken dinner - it was divine! Overall, fantastic spot for a fun night out with friends.

Nestled in the heart of Kelowna, Orchard Park Shopping Centre stands as a vibrant retail hub that has been delighting shoppers since 1971. This expansive, single-level mall boasts over 170 stores featuring popular chains like Hudson's Bay, Aritzia, and Sephora. After indulging in some retail therapy, visitors can recharge at the bustling food court offering a variety of delicious options such as A&W and Edo Japan.
Went shopping for a couple hours after enjoying a coffee at Starbucks. Neat clean friendly interactions good way to kill some time or get in your daily people watching time. Parking lot can be it's own source of entertainment sometimes as well. I'm sure next time I'm in town I'll stop again

We visited Orchard Park Shopping Centre, and it’s truly one of the best malls in the Okanagan! The place is spacious, clean, and has a great mix of stores — from popular brands to local shops. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re shopping for clothes, shoes, or gifts. The layout is easy to navigate, and the mall feels bright and welcoming. The food court also has plenty of options, perfect for taking a break between shopping. We especially appreciated how helpful and friendly the staff were in different stores — it really made our shopping day enjoyable and stress-free. Parking was convenient, and the area felt safe and well-maintained. It’s a great spot for family outings, date days, or even just grabbing a coffee and strolling around. If you’re in Kelowna and love shopping, Orchard Park Shopping Centre is definitely the place to go! 🛒✨

My wife and I visited this mall and were very pleased with the selection of stores. The mall felt open and inviting with plenty of sitting areas. There is ample parking outside with easy access.

I wouldn't have even given this mall one star. However, because I have to I will but note that you need to be a perfect parent and never forget your stroller because they don't rent out anything. So I drove 2 hours from Kamloops BC to take my kids school shopping and I can't even contain the baby so we will go spend our money in Vernon.
Holly T — Google review
Clean mall, decent stores although could use some more brands there kinda old and boring. If some newer shops that are more popular could come in then would be great like - dynamite, tna, Victoria secret. The hours are kinda disappointing they close at 6pm everyday except Thursday and Friday which is till closing at 8pm which is really inconvenient it’s super early especially if you work later or are busy during the day you have no time to go or have to rush in. Considering that even on the weekends they close earlier which are days more people are off work and would want to go out or if tourists come to visit. Some shops and even food places like tacobell inside the mall start closing down even at 530. This is so inconvenient considering it’s around dinner time.
Tiarra T — Google review
I lived in Kelowna for 40 years and this was always a great mall. After six years away, I’m disappointed in the renovation. It’s a characterless white void. It’s hard to tell where you even are, cause it’s all the same bland whiteness. And directories are few and far between. There is minimal signage too. I was just looking for Shoppers Drugmart and the tiny signs did not mention it anywhere. Guest services is located down a lonely, blank hallway instead of in the middle of the action where it belongs to be accessible to shoppers with questions. The worst part is they have taken away most of the seating! It used to be a warm, welcoming community hub, but now it’s stark and cold. Where are all the bored dads, husband and boyfriends supposed to wait? Where are families and friends groups supposed to gather? Where am I supposed to sit to eat my ice cream or drink my bubble tea? If I was able to sit and rest for a bit, I could have shopped a lot more. What a terrible design for a mall. I gave three stars because many of the same great merchants are there and people are giving good service.
Missmayflower — Google review
Lost a very dear necklace at the mall, pretty sad about it since I cant replace it not much of monetary value as it's huge sentimental. Posting a Pic just in case I get lucky and some stranger sees this and decides to not do the old "finders keepers" thing. Otherwise very decent mall with good stores and plenty merch for all ages. 🤞

If you have been to one home depot you know what to expect. Service is hit or miss finding someone to help you if you have a question. My biggest complaint is home Depot doesn't seem to like to stock a lot of items and you are forced to order online. If I have to order online there are other places I would rather order from. The whole point of a retail outlet is so you can walk into a store to purchase a item you are looking for. If you can't do that then why have a physical store. For the things they do have in stock they are great.
Kris B — Google review
The staff at Home Depot are really amazing. After completing a major home renovation I am so pleased that I was able to get most of my supplies from this store. Enjoy sharing your home with selfish AirBnB neighbours! Shares a tiny pool with approximately 400 other units. Destination for stags and hen parties. They allow smoking on the balconies. The place has an identity crisis. You're either woken up by screaming kids in the pool at 8am or adolescents partying in the pool after hours at night. Long term renters or owners made to feel like they are the subject of a take over during the summer. Low rise buildings have decor that is tired and dated.

Not an ideal place to live. Very nice living way up high in the building over looking the lake. It is great and all. Building is fairly sound proof. Its super luxury. I can go on all day with how nice of a job they did. But what kind of life is it, you can have your family over for a bbq outside by the pool in the common area. If you dont mind security looking for reasons to fine you with tickets. Had more than 6 people over at the pool, which was empty and no one else was around the bbq area. We occupied 1/3 stations. Security kept coming up and asking whats in our garbage bags. Snooping into our wagons trying to find glass or alcohol to so they can hand out there heafty tickets. Telling us 12 people is to many and its grounds for a fine. Not how me, my parents grandparents, aunt and uncles wanted to spend our afternoon. I get it rules are rules. But having privacy in our own home invaded.. not a way to live life. Aswell security standing around watching us... comon. Really. Your looking for something to get off on. This is not the only time i have seen this happen. I have watched security do this to other familys while relaxing at the pool reading a book. It is a cash grab. I honestly feel they make commision ofd handing out fines. Highly do not recommend anyone buying in these places. Unless you want to hide upstairs in your unit all day. Buy somewhere else.
