Arts organization
The Norton Museum of Art, founded in 1941 and recently renovated with a new West Wing designed by architect Lord Norman Foster, offers a diverse collection of American, French, and Chinese art alongside contemporary exhibits. The museum's expansion, known as the Kenneth C. Griffin Building, boasts a modernist design emphasizing natural light and open spaces. Visitors can explore gallery spaces, an auditorium, a sculpture garden, and a reflective pool that adds to its serene ambiance.
I was nicely surprised to find this world class art museum in WPB! It had a nice varity of Contemporary, old European, modern European, American, Chinese, and more! Took me about 3 hours to see the full place. Nice sculpture garden. Highly recommended! General admission is $18 and because I am a student it was only $5. I highly recommend!
Osolot W — Google review
The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach is a fantastic place to visit. The collection is well-curated, with a good amount of art pieces that span different eras. I also liked the art figures located outside, which adds to the overall experience and makes the museum feel like a living gallery. The old tree in front of the building is not only a great landmark but also provides a nice bit of shade. The employees were also very kind and approachable, which made my visit even more pleasant. My favorite part of the museum was getting to see the Pablo Picasso art and the photography exhibit. This is definitely a must-visit place if you are in the area, and I would absolutely go back again.

Three stars. That's fair! We visited on Memorial Day, and we came at 3 pm. We were hungry from a 2 hour ride on the trirail to get to the museum (including 2 ubers). We were hungry, so as soon as we bought our tickets inside, 15 for senior, 18 for adult. 33 total no taxes. We headed to the restaurant where it was empty. Graciously, we were seated by Micheal right before closing. Thanks, Micheal, for your consideration, and thank Austin for your service and conversation. We'll be back to the museum after dark for the jazz music 😍. The museum has 3 floors. My advice is to go up to the 3rd floor and work your way down. My mom and I were having a debate as to where to start with only an hour and a half before closing. Austin broke the tie with a vote for starting at the top and working our way down. Both top floors are much smaller than the 1st floor, so for time saving, it makes sense We practically finished all floors but the back of 1st floor and the garden. 🫠🫠🫠. Jazz in the garden for February seems like it could be a vibe, I wonder if they'll have Christmas music for December? Enjoy!
Tia S — Google review
Such a lovely way to spend ~1-2 hours admiring art and escaping the heat. With 3 floors (1st floor being the largest) this museum boasts a variety of interesting art. Not only is it indoors but it also has a little garden worth checking out with some sculptures and pretty greenery. In addition, there’s a cafe/restaurant that seems quite lovely to dine in. Staff is friendly and easygoing, overall I’d recommend and pricing is fair!
Valentina N — Google review
The Norton Museum of Art is such a gem in West Palm Beach. The building itself is beautiful, modern, and very inviting. Layout makes it easy to explore without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. I especially liked how the museum mixes permanent pieces with special exhibitions, so every visit feels fresh and different. The outdoor sculpture garden is a peaceful spot to take a break, and the café is a nice bonus if you want a light bite or coffee. Staff members were welcoming and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. It’s definitely worth setting aside a couple of hours here, whether you’re a local or just visiting the area.

Visited the Rembrandt exhibition at the Norton Museum of Art — a true immersion into a world of light and shadow. The portraits seem to come alive, each gaze filled with story and emotion. Excellent organization and atmospheric lighting make the encounter with the master truly unforgettable. I highly recommend it to all lovers of classical painting!

For $20 it was a great experience! Lots of cool art to see, big and inviting I definitely recommend spending time in the gardens it’s filled with lushes landscaping. They even have a decent size restaurant there! 3 levels of amazing art and culture.

The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum, a stately mansion from the Gilded Age, is adorned with artwork and antique furnishings. It offers a glimpse into Florida's history and the opulence of the Gilded Age. The museum is located in a former mansion built by railroad magnate Henry Flagler and is listed as a National Historic Landmark. The area also boasts acclaimed institutions like the Norton Museum of Art and Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, along with internationally renowned resorts such as the Breakers.
Decided to head up to west palm to visit this beautiful estate. The visit was definitely worth it. It was a walk through the gilded age of Florida. You get to go through the whole place and see just how expensive and eloquent people with money lived back then. Henry Flagler had exquisite taste and learned a lot about him and his family. It’s a beautiful experience
Jonathan A — Google review
The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum is a must-do while visiting stunning Palm Beach. Plan to spend several hours exploring its opulently decorated rooms and exhibits. An optional docent-led tour is included with admission, along with complimentary audio and paper guide options. You can also simply wander the maze of beautifully preserved rooms spread across two floors. Don’t miss the large side building that houses a walk-through train car! An elevator in the mansion is available if needed, but as this historic landmark is over 120 years old, expect some uneven surfaces and narrow passages. Lovely gift shop on site. Highly recommended.
M — Google review
A History You Can Feel The Flagler Museum isn’t just a stop — it’s a reason to visit West Palm Beach. Walking through its grand halls feels like stepping into another era, one defined by elegance, ambition, and unimaginable wealth. Every room tells a different story, each adorned with its own color palette and exquisite art pieces. The preservation is outstanding; I could return again and again, and still be captivated.
Rocío S — Google review
I have travelled all over the world and taken guided tours in many places. But, Ms. Elli was hands down the best I have ever heard. She made the story-telling come alive! What an amazing place. The attention to detail was so impressive. This is a jewel in South Florida. If you come make sure to do the guided tour and the audio. Take time to walk through the rail car. Just an impressive estate.
2offspringnhappy — Google review
The Flagler Museum is beautiful and very well kept. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and provides excellent customer service. I especially enjoyed the audio tour feature—it reminded me of the very first cellphones, which added a fun, nostalgic touch. That said, the museum is not very baby-friendly. Strollers are not allowed inside (we had to leave it outside rain or shine), and we had to leave our diaper bag at the front desk. We visited on a whim after our outdoor plans were ruined by the weather, so we weren’t fully prepared to carry our baby the entire time. Thankfully she seemed to have enjoyed it also 🥰 Overall, it’s a wonderful place to explore Florida’s history indoors, but I’d recommend planning ahead if visiting with little ones.
Jess A — Google review
The Henry M. Flagler Museum is truly breathtaking! From the moment you drive up and walk through the gates, it feels like stepping into another era. The architecture and details are absolutely stunning — it almost feels like visiting Versailles in Paris. Even as someone who doesn’t usually enjoy historical sites, I found the experience captivating and memorable. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in West Palm Beach!
Eli Z — Google review
“What a pleasant surprise! I ended up here after the Norton was closed. I’m not usually a big fan of these kinds of museums, but I truly enjoyed this one. My top tip: wait for the guided tour, our guide told Flagler’s story beautifully. The house is 90% original, and you can’t miss the original train car outside. The ticket is pricey, but in this case, it was worth it.
Mariana C — Google review
It is beautiful and educational! The tour was lovely, but you don't have to do a tour. You should go check it out though, you get to walk through a train car, his train car!

Nestled in West Palm Beach, Mounts Botanical Garden is a serene escape that spans 14 acres and showcases an impressive collection of over 2,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants from across the globe. This beautifully manicured garden invites visitors to immerse themselves in its lush landscapes featuring exotic trees, vibrant herbs, citrus varieties, and majestic palms.
Excellent garden with so manu varieties of flowers, butterflies, trees and many beautiful locations for a photo shoot. Would expect to spend like 2-3 hours. Visited on a sunday afternoon and didn’t need to buy the tickets in advance. Ample parking space. Its a well maintained place! Would surely recommend
Neha T — Google review
Been here a few times. Always enjoy the walk, especially the butterfly garden and the maze. Today was the end of summer plant sale and there were plenty of exotics as well as native plants available. Nice selection of food vendors. Live music was awesome.
Trish F — Google review
The layout of the garden is very inviting. It's a beautiful place, the only objection is the entrance fee which I find too high for the exhibits and plant inventory we saw. If Yu have time to kill at the airport, this is probably the closest option to see some nature.

Mounts Botanical Garden in Palm Beach is absolutely beautiful! 🌿✨ A true hidden gem with amazing plants, peaceful walking paths, and a relaxing atmosphere. Everything is so well-maintained, staff is friendly, and it’s a perfect place to enjoy nature. 5 stars!

Beatiful garden with lots to do. Including a maze which was a nice change from other gardens. It's a little small of u have to pay full price. We got our tickets off groupon.

I've been wanting to visit for a while and did not disappoint. The garden was beautiful, really enjoyed the animal sculptures and art work throughout the place. The beautiful garden was also very nice and we definitely fed the fish. It took us about an hour to walk through the whole place, we went during the week and basically had the place to ourselves.

Found this botanical garden and knew immediately that it was a must-visit. The variety of plants, tropical trees and overall scenery are all peacefully breathtaking. The staff here take meticulous care of the entire garden and it’s felt throughout every inch of this property. We didn’t even know that we could have a picnic here so we’ll definitely be planning another trip again.

Located in Downtown West Palm Beach, it is part of the vibrant cultural scene in South Florida, offering Broadway theater productions like 'Jersey Boys' and 'Mary Poppins,' as well as concerts by renowned orchestras such as the National Symphony of Cuba.
Last night I had an unforgettable experience at the Kravis Center. The show was deeply moving, and the venue is absolutely beautiful – elegant, welcoming, and flawless in every detail. The acoustics were perfect, with every sound delivered clearly and full of emotion. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, which made the night even more special. I left feeling truly touched and inspired. It’s a place that truly honors the arts and creates moments that stay with you. Highly recommend – it’s an experience you won’t forget!

We had a truly special night celebrating our wedding anniversary at the beautiful Kravis Center, a luxurious and elegant theater. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, guiding us to our seats with great courtesy. The sound quality was excellent for the legendary Beach Boys performance. Yes, they're older now, but their music and stage presence are still absolutely phenomenal.

It was such a great experience going to the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the performing arts. Let’s start by saying that the location of the center is located in West Palm Beach and is absolutely beautiful. The center itself is very clean very safe and the staff are very, very professional and very, very helpful. There is food and drinks for purchase available at the Center. Also there is plenty of parking with reasonable parking fees. We had such a great time last night where we went to go see the Commodore’s. It was so much fun. It was amazing and it was definitely worth going. You won’t go wrong seeing any type of performance at the Kravis center for the performing arts. It’s definitely worth it.

Fantastic venue, foh staff is phenomenal but the Usher's should relax a little bit I think they love their. Authority a little too much. Went to the Elton John tribute and it was the best show I've seen there and I've been going there for 20 years
Road K — Google review
Went there for a comedy show, we saw Tom Segura amd we really had a great time. Everything is really close so if you're going to really experience the venue, there's many bars and restaurants around. This place does have bars and some finger food but I'd eat elsewhere. Have fun and enjoy this venue!

The property spans two acres and features over 100 sculptures displayed both indoors and in the lush gardens. Visitors can explore not only the beautiful sculptures but also Norton's home and art studio, gaining insight into her visionary work.
Beautiful and relaxing place. The lady who works there for the last 16 years and sells the tickets was outstanding with sharing stories and interesting facts about Norton Family. Its a residential area but surprisingly huge grounds that are hidden. Many plants, palms, paths and little store. Worth visiting for sure.

First impression was excellent! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The nice lady sitting at the entrance was excellent. She shared detailed bits of info about the house, its owners, and the Gardens. Excellent info bits for a first time visitor as myself. I enjoyed my time walking around the Gardens and admiring the sculptures. Great place to explore and inmerse yourself in a bit of old Florida history.

Beautiful place and wonderful pieces of art! The lady who sells ticket has an excellent knowledge of the artist and the place. The garden is located in a residential area but didn’t have any parking issues as such. I visited this place with my siblings on a Sunday morning. There is a workshop room with all the tolls the artist used. There’s a variety of flower plants and trees. Surely worth a visit !
Neha T — Google review
We loved the gardens they have beautiful spots for great pictures. Don’t expect a big place but it’s worth it. They have an interesting picture collection from the Old West Palm Beach Society. It’s no parking lot for the visitors, we had to park on the street. No restaurant/ Cafeteria

This garden is stunning, beautiful, and amazing sculptures. The people working there were very nice and knowledgeable about its history. This place was so amazing that I literally fell and got hurt. But it's clearly my fault I got caught up on taking pictures and videos. I missed that last step and fell. But the two ladies who worked there were kind, gave my wife the first aid stuff, and patched me up back together. They gave us a refund and called the next day to see how I was. That meant a lot. So much so that my parents went to the museum the next day Thank you again for your help We'll definitely be back

Clematis Street was honestly a disappointment. I was expecting a vibrant, trendy area catering to both tourists and locals, but instead found a mix of cafés, coffee shops, several nail salons, CBD shops, tattoo parlors, bars—and unfortunately, a noticeable homeless presence. I actually kept checking my phone to make sure I was really in the place promoted as a highlight of West Palm Beach! I ended up heading to CityPlace instead, which was much more enjoyable. Not recommended, unless you’re in the market for a manicure.

Manatee Lagoon in West Palm Beach, Florida is an educational center that offers seasonal opportunities to view wild manatees. The facility features hands-on exhibits and a gift shop for visitors to explore. Families visiting the area can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities such as animal adventures, outdoor activities, beaches, interactive museums, water parks, and botanical gardens.
Manatee Lagoon is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those curious about Florida’s gentle giants. This 4.6-star-rated educational center offers a unique opportunity to observe manatees n their natural habitat, especially during the cooler months when they gather near the warm waters of the adjacent power plant. The facility is well-maintained and welcoming, featuring informative exhibits that highlight manatee conservation efforts and the local ecosystem. The gift shop provides a selection of souvenirs, making it easy to take home a piece of the experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Manatee Lagoon is a peaceful and enriching spot to learn about these fascinating creatures while enjoying scenic waterfront views. With its blend of education, conservation, and natural beauty, Manatee Lagoon is a fantastic place to spend a few hours. If you're in the Palm Beach area, it's definitely worth a stop!
Chad C — Google review
A must visit, lots to learn and even better if you're lucky you can see manatees. In winter am guessing there are more to see as the water is warm from the next door power plant. But definitely worth a visit. It isn't an all day visit more an hour or so. Or longer if the manatees are visiting and you want to observe them for longer
Sheira A — Google review
Unfortunately we didn’t see any manatee but it’s a nice viewing area if they are there. There is a pretty private beach area 🏝️off to the side. Brought some cute shell earrings from the gift shop 🐚
Aimz — Google review
Manatee Lagoon is a peaceful and educational place where you can see manatees in their natural environment. When we visited, the staff explained that manatees are usually visible when the weather is cold — typically in December and January, since Florida doesn’t get cold often. So, if you're planning a visit, try to go during those winter months for the best chance to see them up close. Even if you don’t spot any, the center is beautiful, with great exhibits and views. A relaxing and family-friendly spot worth checking out!
Özge E — Google review
A great conservation and education center tucked away near power plant. Cost: Free with donation options When to go? Year-round for educational experience all ages. Short video, educational activities particularly engaging under 10. Manatee viewing starts Nov. 15 through March. Typically peaks January/February. This was a great stop over to have a picnic lunch, observe water and do activities after a prolonged car ride. Worth the stop and likely will be a habit traveling this direction.
B. R — Google review
My wife and I stopped here late in the afternoon on June 19, 2025 while on a camping trip at John Prince County Campground about 15 miles south of the Manatee Lagoon. There used to be an oil-fired (steam) power plant here (with tall smoke stacks), whose warmed cooling waters used to outflow into the intracoastal waterway (attracting Manatees, particularly the cool winter months), but it was torn down about 10 years ago and Florida Power & Light installed natural gas powered turbine generators in their place, which are much less polluting and not as ugly. The amount of warm water outflow from the new gas-turbine generators is probably substantially less than the old steam powered plant offered, but the Manatees still hang out in this area during both the summer and winter months, and we even saw a mother and her juvenile offspring cruising down the outside walkway and seawall during our visit. The educational visitor center here is very nice inside, totally free (no admission fee) and open to the public. It takes about an hour to tour it (if you read all the displays) and they have a few staff members on duty to answer any questions you might have. It does close at 4 pm each day, so keep that in mind when planning your visit arrival time. Outside, on the concrete walkway, you can hang out over the safety railings and peer into the very clear ocean water that washes into the intracoastal waterway from Palm Beach Inlet, that's less than a mile northeast of here. The facility also has a few outdoor displays and a solar-roofed pavilion with some picnic tables. There is also a fairly large parking lot that is also free of charge and is guarded by a roving security patrol cart.

Manatee Lagoon is a small, educational place that is awesome for kids to learn about manatees. There are a few indoor exhibits that are interactive for learning. The outdoor area is equally small but it has a manatee viewing area, but seeing them is not guaranteed. It depends on the time of year. I believe the colder months are best, whereas the summer months are the worst. We did It’s free but you can make a donation, so it’s a must see if in the area because of that alone. If you want to spend money you can check out the gift shop. There is plenty of parking and the property has great views of the water.
Wade — Google review
I absolutely enjoyed this place, even when there weren’t any manatees around. They have a gift shop and an observation deck on the second story. There is plenty of seagrass for the manatees along the bed of the beach, and great sights of the lagoon and condos from the first and second floors.

Rapids Waterpark is a 12-acre outdoor venue in West Palm Beach, offering a variety of water attractions such as waterslides, a wave pool, and lazy river. Families visiting the area can also explore other family-friendly activities including animal adventures, interactive museums, beaches, and botanical gardens. Some popular nearby attractions include Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, Manatee Lagoon, Lion Country Safari, and John D. MacArthur Beach State Park.
Went here with my family for my birthday. We all had a blast, even my toddler. There is plenty of things to do for everyone. Some rides won’t allow you on if you’re over 250. Keep that in mind and look at the signs. Before you go on the BIG slides. I didn’t have a problem since I’m under that weight limit. The yellow and blue slide was my favorite! It was the most fast and daring one.

There are things to love about Rapids Waterpark and thanks to hate about Rapids Waterpark. Let's start with what's to love. Raising a water-loving eight-year-old daughter, she loved visiting for an entire day! There are plenty of waterslides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and more. Never was she bored. Visiting on a Sunday in July right after a storm (they made everyone get out of the water for two hours), it was fairly empty. We barely had to wait in any lines, including Thunder. Overall, it was a good experience, but be warned that it's expensive! It cost the same price to get a season pass and for three of us, it was over $200. Then, you have to pay for parking ($30) and $20 for a small locker for the day. Food is overpriced and not great. The park is also dirty and the water can get gross. Staff are not very friendly and very, very slow at their jobs so slides can get backed up. If you have the cash and patience, it makes for a fun day.
Austin G — Google review
Great family outing. Splash pads for little ones and scary/ exciting slides, too. Bring your waterproof phone bag so you won't need to buy a locker. You can also bring food in a cooler if you're comfortable leaving it in the picnic area just before the park entrance - good way to save. The snacks are expensive, but the season passes are totally worth it.
Morgan R — Google review
(8/9/25) My friends and I got in for “free” because of a blood donation incentive and it was definitely worth it! The rides are lot of fun and it was a great time overall. Phone lanyards are allowed. They weigh you before every single ride, each person has to weight less than 250lbs, and less than 700lbs as a group. Regular parking was $20 and the lines are way shorter in the morning but the stairs are killer. You can exit and reenter in the park and there are picnic tables in the parking lot if you choose to bring your own food. Cons: The wave pool was pitiful, I can make bigger waves with my arms. Some confusion also trying to find the stairs for the correct ride, they need more signage. A lot of the food stands in the park had gratuity added on to the already overpriced bill. Some rides are 2 people only so it’s a disadvantage for odd numbered groups. Altogether, it’s a great place to spend the day but expect to spend a good amount of money and wait in lines.
Gabriela — Google review
From the larger park liked, despite the fact that it is not particularly large. There are interesting slides, but unfortunately 2 of the main slides with a falling bottom did not work This upset most of all! The park itself is clean Toilets and locker rooms are clean. Paid parking in front of the park $20 and $30! The price for an adult is $65 . We were on a Thursday and there were no lines! Good place to relax
Coach S — Google review
This was my Mother's Day present from my family and the time spent together was exceptional! Loved all the rides, I was one of the kids running to the different rides at the end of the day trying to squeeze in just one more, and then another. The staff are courteous and helpful. Good variety of slides. We were there from open to close and only stopped long enough for lunch. And fun family must!!
Kimberly L — Google review
Season pass at rapids is the best! I think I paid $200 total for my son and I to go unlimited times per year. We have already been 10x and it’s only July. Some slides are out of order but for the most part we have a blast. We try to go right at 10am and leave by noon when it gets busy. Many times we’ve had slides to ourselves! Lazy River in between rides to relax and then back to the action.
Travis T — Google review
We visited on a Tuesday, which worked out great since it wasn’t crowded, and the wait time for the slides was only about 15 minutes. However, around seven slides were closed that day. Four of them were mat slides—they were open initially but got shut down due to lightning. Even after the weather cleared and other slides reopened, those particular ones stayed closed for the rest of the day. Despite that, my overall experience was super fun!

Always a busy stop, but a pleasure. You always meet nice people while shopping. Everything is beautifully presented. Plenty of staff happy to help. Thoughtful cashiers, respectful of the items you carefully chosen when handling and bagging. My happy place to shop for all my needs!!!

This was an outstanding outlet shopping venue for us. Lots of parking all around. It’s open space, with shades in the aisles. So, good for rainy and super hot days. The walkways are clean. Lots well maintained tree. The Christmas decorations were up already. I loved that each stores name plate was put on sideway boards, so I was able to see all stores in an aisle from an intersection. The out has good collection of stores, popular ones like Adidas, Nike, Under Armor, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess and more than 100 other stores. The food court is very clean. But it only has few selection of food stores. The directories are posted in most intersections. I didn’t a customer service booth but there were few security personnels. I was very pleased with the collection of good the stores had. Prices are fair and discounts are excellent. I bought plenty of stuff from Adidas, CK, TH as I found items of my size for great value.

Tanger Outlets Palm Beach is a great shopping destination with a wide variety of brand-name stores at discounted prices. The outlets are clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. I had a great experience at Subway. The staff were friendly and quick to take my order, and everything was fresh and neatly prepared. I really liked how customizable the sandwiches are you can choose exactly what you want and watch it being made right in front of you. The bread was soft, the veggies were crisp, and the sauces added just the right flavor.

There are different things to do around, plenty of shops and decent variety to choose from. The parking lot is very large like the majority in the US. There's a target supermarket nearby as well. If you're around the area I recommend doing a visit here also
Dan D — Google review
The subway here is horrible. I don’t know about the others in the food court but I ordered a veggie sub. It was literally bread. They’re so stingy. I asked for tomato only 2 slices. I asked for cucumber only 2 slices. I asked for more cucumber she only put one more slice. Like really? I get that the economy is hard rn but I’m still paying. And I’m just getting bread. Won’t be back here. Try the other places. Not subway here

Grassy Waters Preserve is a stunning wetland sanctuary located just minutes from The Club at Ibis in West Palm Beach. This expansive 23-square-mile park is part of the Greater Everglades watershed and boasts a diverse range of native wildlife, including iconic species like the bald eagle and endangered creatures such as the snail kite. Visitors can explore scenic hiking trails suitable for all levels and enjoy canoeing or kayaking through the swamp areas.
Pretty toasty afternoon today but there are places with shade to stop at. I enjoyed the rocking chairs about a quarter way through the trail. Only saw a gator and turtle today, but it was fairly warm and in the middle of the day. There were apparently some eagles nests, but I did not see any eagles. The staff at the nature center was very nice! A big plus is the flushing toilets available in the parking lot! Always appreciate a flush toilet over a pit toilet at most parks.
Lauren — Google review
Beautiful wooden walkway through wetlands. Trail is about 1 mile in with plenty of stopoffs to sit. There is even a couple of rocking chairs. The walk is plenty shaded and at one part there are even binoculars to look through. It is wheelchair accessible. For walking only...no bike trails.
Susie S — Google review
This is a beautiful and very large free park. The nature trail has a long wooden walkway that goes through the area and over water. There are quite a few shaded viewing spots with either benches or rocking chairs. There is also an indoor area that is great for kids and has insects and fish, etc. A lot of educational material.
Morgan M — Google review
This is my go-to place! There are many different trails - 20 miles, 16 miler, 8, 6, etc! Possibilities are endless. Lots of amazing wildlife - gators (they never bother me - I've had them in the middle of the trail, and they just blink or they are skittish and run into the water!). Deer, wild boar (also skittish) otters, I've seen a bob cat twice, tons of birds, lizards, Jesus lizards and iguanas, geckos... This place is teaming with wild life! I feel God so deeply enveloped in this place it's where I come to feel closest to The Father. Flooding hasn't really been a thing since they fixed the trails - the outer perimeter trail never floods - the inner Apoxee does a little bit but much less since improvements.
Marissa Z — Google review
This is a great place to walk the trails in peace and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. We had an enjoyable time looking for gators, birds, frogs, turtles and fish. We did see one owl roosting up in a tree. This is free. No entrance fee.

We love this place for short weekend hikes. We live in the Acreage and have a 2 year old so are always looking for short easy hikes to bring her on. I like that this place is safe/protected since it's mostly a boardwalk. They also have a cute nature center which has water and AC (great stop at the end). The volunteer staff are super nice and welcoming. The only downside is they close at 4:30 every day, which is really early especially for weekdays.
Jessica R — Google review
We had no idea what to expect but walked away pleasantly surprised. You can't beat the price of free, but even if there was a ticket price, it'd be worth it. We didn't even get to explore all there was to see, and not any wildlife this day, but I would come back multiple times for the purpose of seeing everything on offer from the park. All the staff (three people) we ran into were incredibly friendly and helpful. Groups of ALL ages and abilities will enjoy this.

Such a wonderful and mind-bending experience. So grateful that I was able to take a friend for her Mother's Day, to provide her something "out of the ordinary". Very grateful for this opportunity and awesome experience
Joshua ( — Google review
Sure! Cox Science Center & Aquarium, West Palm Beach I recently visited the Cox Science Center & Aquarium, and it was an action-packed, educational, and overall enjoyable experience—especially for families with children. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when planning your trip. 🌟 Activities & Exhibits The center offers a diverse range of STEM activities—we counted at least nine interactive stations, each designed to spark curiosity and hands-on learning. From making paper airplanes to exploring basic physics and engineering principles, kids were thoroughly engaged. At the end of the STEM circuit, every child received a small gift, which was a lovely touch! One highlight was the live science show titled “It’s Not Magic, It’s Science!”—a fun, crowd-pleasing demonstration that kept both kids and adults entertained while explaining scientific concepts in an accessible way. Inside the facility, you’ll also find: • A NASA-themed station that was both educational and immersive. • A jumping area for kids to burn off energy indoors. • A colorful lollipop corner that was a favorite among younger visitors. • A baby play zone with soft flooring and color balls, perfect for toddlers and infants. • The aquarium section, which featured a variety of fish, turtles, and what appeared to be baby alligators or a similar small reptile species. It was well-maintained and fascinating to observe. Another major attraction was the aircraft simulation area, though it was very crowded and had long wait times. It’s clearly one of the more popular spots, so it might be worth visiting early in the day. 🌊 Outdoor Experience Outside, there’s a splash pad and an open park area, with water misting stations to help guests cool down. However, it was still quite hot, and if you’re visiting during summer months, plan accordingly—sun hats, sunscreen, and hydration are essential. There was also a birthday party happening in the outdoor section, which seemed well-organized and fun. The venue does appear to accommodate such events nicely. ✅ Cleanliness & Security Despite the weekend rush, the facility was very clean and well-maintained. Staff were present at almost every major station—friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. We felt safe and secure throughout the entire visit, which is crucial when visiting with small children. ⚠️ Crowds & Timing Weekends tend to get very crowded, which may lead to longer wait times at popular stations (like the flight simulator). If possible, consider visiting on a weekday for a more relaxed experience. The center is clearly a hotspot for families, especially during peak hours. ⸻ 💡 Final Thoughts The Cox Science Center & Aquarium is a fantastic local gem for science-loving families, especially those with kids between 1–10 years old. There’s a solid mix of education, entertainment, and physical activity to keep children engaged for hours. Just be prepared for the heat if you’re spending time outdoors, and expect large weekend crowds. Still, the overall experience was fun, safe, and enriching—we’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 out of 5)
Tooba.005 S — Google review
I brought my 1 and 2 year old, it was our first time. We had a blast, there's so many fun exhibits to check out. The outdoor area was really cool, their favorite part obviously was the splash pad outside!
Des D — Google review
Can't wait for expansion completion in 2027. Did expect more, but hadca nice day. Really geared to kids, but fun for adults. Good for a rainy day to explore and keep kuds engaged. Found the video flight simulators the most interesting. The puzzles were fun too.
Michele A — Google review
This is a great place for kid and family activities. I went there over the weekend and it’s kind of pricey for adult honestly because there is not much to do. But for kids, it can be very interesting as they have fish tanks on some area in a lot of game and science on another one. They are still under construction, so a lot of other activities are not available at the moment. They have a little kid water splash area, dinosaur, and giant animals sculpture. The science area has a lot of brain teasers and games that both kids and adults can do. I recommend it if you have kids because they have a lot of energy to get out and they will definitely have fun. For adult just go with an open mind and try to enjoy to the best of your ability because you will definitely learn a few things if you’re interested in science, but there is not that much to see. Kids will enjoy 100%
Erma D — Google review
Took my 15 year old and 3 year old here on a Wednesday. No wait time and no lines! I assume because it was a weekday. The kids loved this place! We spent a couple of hours here enjoying all it had to offer. My oldest loved the shark tooth dig, mining area & aircraft simulator. My 3 year old loved the ball play area, aquariums, coloring, lego table & soft play area. I would recommend this place for all ages.

Nature Center in Delray, Florida, is a delightful destination that combines the wonders of the ocean with the thrill of prehistoric times. The aquarium is its stunning array of tropical fish. I went to the south side of this beautiful park. I was very surprised at how well kept that place was. It has many trails to bike and/or hike. There's plenty of shade, and the park is super clean There are lakes, tons of pine trees, and even a wet land area. The equestrian.center is out of reach, though. Beautiful park and perfect spot for a kid’s birthday party! We came here for my son’s friend’s birthday party and had a great time. The park is spacious, clean, and has plenty of shade and open areas for the kids to run around and play. There were picnic tables, a nearby playground, and lots of room for games and food setup. What I loved most was how peaceful and family-friendly the whole area felt. Even with a group of excited kids, it never felt overcrowded. Plus, the views of the lake and open green space made it relaxing for the adults too. Definitely a great spot for parties, playdates, or just spending time outdoors. We’ll be back soon!

It is a very clean and beautiful park, but PLEASE be aware and alert at all times. My leashed dog found a very venomous Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake right off the path when she saw an iguana and went to chase. We were right on top of the snake. No harm, but do not venture in the brush. Talking to others, there are many around even on the paths. This was on South side.

Very nice park. HUGE. Not sure of everything. Separate walking trails and biking. The nature center had a few reptiles and an owl in it. The trails were very well marked with direction. It also displayed plaques of the local vegetation and describe it.

I recently visited the south side of this beautiful park and was pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained it is. The cleanliness and care really stood out, making the experience even more enjoyable. There are plenty of trails for both biking and hiking, all surrounded by gorgeous scenery. With lots of shade from the many pine trees, it's a comfortable place to spend time outdoors, even on warmer days. The park also features peaceful lakes and a fascinating wetland area, adding to its natural charm. While I didn’t get a chance to explore the equestrian center—it seemed a bit out of reach—the north side of the park is just as beautiful as the south, offering even more to discover. Overall, it's a clean, scenic, and relaxing place that's perfect for outdoor lovers.

If you like History, this museum focuses on local Florida history in their exhibits. This was my second visit and went to see "Wish you were here". Florida as it evolved as a tourist destination! From art to sports! Fee for special exhibits charged

Nice little museum inside the old courthouse. Great spot to learn a bit about West Palm Beach if you're in town. It’s clean, the staff is super friendly, and it’s totally free.

I would like to inform future renters to read these reviews. When I first moved in here I overlooked the reviews thinking this would be a great location which I absolutely agree. Your accessibility to restaurants and entertainment is phenomenal however I believe there are better alternatives. For the price that you pay to live here you definitely aren’t getting your moneys worth. The property is unmaintained and management is hard to reach. Any issues you have in your apartment usually takes days to weeks just to get a response. I have had three different managers since I moved in here ( previous manager Latasha was amazing) The luxurious atmosphere claimed is far from it. I’ve had a hole in the roof outside my door since I moved in, Construction workers making a mess and throwing renovation junk onto the roof, loud construction for the past eight months I’ve lived here and many more.... When issues are brought to management they become very defensive and fail to provide the hospitality they claim.Save your time and money and look elsewhere

My place has Toxic Black Mold. I have been cleaning up fungus daily. My one child is tearing his skin open, sleeping 20 hours a day, is barely eating, pale; looks deathly. My other child is getting headaches, has soars in throat, is losing sensation in her left foot, is falling alseep often, and I am in a fog, have chest pains, a stinging in my feet, rash, and our Mycotoxins are extremely high. The fungus is everywhere! I had to get my own mold test done, and because the manager is on vacation they do nothing! I fear the lives of children and myself. They covered it up and painted over it; they new about it. The vents are all black, and there is inches of dust everywhere. I am still cleaning non-stop months later. For 1850.00 a month one should not have to worry about their living conditions. This is an emergency and they do nothing! Living here just may cost you your life!

I scheduled a tour of the place. It is extremely hard to find. Once I found the stairwell there was no way to contact the rental office. I tried calling the phone number which goes a to a full VM with no greeting. After walking around for 20 minutes a nice lady from another building (resident) showed us how to get to the office. Once there the agent was very slow even though I was on a tight schedule. I was with my brother and we interested in a 2/2 but there were none available to show (why schedule an appointment in the first place). 1 hour and 20 minutes later it was done. I would NEVER rent in a place that is so disorganized that they set up a tour when there are no units available in desired size, don't have a way to call the agents, no way to call the office from downstairs, and are oblivious to people's time constraints. Horrible first impression. Close your doors!!!

My son is looking for a place in the area but after reading the reviews.....no thanks! Sounds like the management office is NOT being run properly. Also, to the management, of a resident takes the time to write a review at least have the courtesy to write EACH person individually and NOT a canned response.

Nestled in the heart of Palm Beach, The Society of the Four Arts has been a cultural gem since its inception in 1936. This vibrant destination features an impressive art gallery, an auditorium for various performances, and two well-stocked libraries. Visitors can also explore enchanting botanical and sculpture gardens that showcase a variety of tropical plants suited to the South Florida climate.
Well-maintained and beautiful garden that’s perfect for a quick walk through or quiet contemplation. It gets pretty busy on the weekends but most people leave pretty quickly. The parking is somewhat limited, but you can usually find a space. The gardens have really cool permanent sculptures and also temporary art exhibits to check out throughout the year. The buildings adjacent also include a library and small theatre that holds exhibits and concerts.

The Society of the Four Arts I absolutely love this place! The library and its garden are simply magical. The architecture feels like a little piece of Italy right here in Palm Beach — that’s one of the reasons I adore this town. You can take a book, find a cozy corner in the garden, and just relax while birds are singing and the fountain is softly flowing. The scent of flowers, the peace, the atmosphere — everything here is perfect. Truly a hidden gem! 🌿📚

Such a peaceful spot in Palm Beach. Gardens are not huge but really beautiful, with little themed areas and sculptures that make it fun to walk around. Gallery always has interesting exhibits, and the library is a nice bonus if you like quiet spaces. Parking can fill up on busy days, but most of the time it’s not a problem. Relaxing place to enjoy art, nature, and a slower pace.

Lovely gardens to walk around. Not huge but free and there's also free parking across the library entrance so can't complain. There's a small Chinese garden which was really nice and some pretty interesting sculptures.

IN BLOOM Flower Show The Flower Show IN BLOOM was an event that was wonderfully executed, showcasing some truly amazing flowers, and attended by some amazing people. The organizers of the event put in a great deal of effort to create an atmosphere that was both inviting and breathtaking. The displays were arranged in a manner that made it easy to appreciate the beauty of the flowers and to fully take in their many colors and scents. The flowers themselves were truly impressive, with a wide variety of species on display, ranging from vibrant roses to delicate orchids. Each specimen was carefully selected and expertly cared for, resulting in a collection of flowers that was truly stunning. Visitors to the show were treated to a feast for the senses, with the many different types of flowers providing a kaleidoscope of colors, fragrances, and textures. But what truly made the Flower Show IN BLOOM special was the people who attended it. The visitors were clearly passionate about flowers, and they came from all walks of life to share in the experience. From children to seniors, everyone seemed to appreciate the beauty of the flowers and to be genuinely enjoying themselves. This created a sense of community and shared joy that was palpable throughout the event. Overall, this event was a wonderful that left a lasting impression on all who attended. The combination of amazing flowers, expert execution, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere made for a truly memorable experience. If you have a chance to attend the Flower Show IN BLOOM in the future, it is definitely an event that should not be missed.

My wife found this location when we visited Palm Beach and I am grateful she did. What a beautiful garden, library, collection, and group. We were impressed with every detail we saw and experienced. The gardens are gorgeous and thoughtfully done. We appreciated all of the separate areas and themes, and all of the quieter nooks where you can sit and have some quiet in a busy, hectic world. This is a place of peace and beauty--and we are grateful we found it. We look forward to going again when we are in town again. Gorgeous!

Excellent little hidden gem in the earth of Palm Beach. Eclectic gardens are meticulously manicured with labels for most flora. Free entrance to the gardens. Free parking close by. It will take most people 1 to hours to stroll around the exterior gardens. Several other activities to do in the local area just a short walk away.

Exquisite garden What a pleasure to visit this beautiful, absolutely delightful garden. A real oasis, very tranquil and peaceful. It has lots of areas to sit, relax, and absorb the true beauty of this garden. This is a fun outdoor experience with many different sculptures to see and wonderful plants. It is not huge, but has lots of conversation starters and is located within walking distance to Worth Avenue. There is a lot of picture-perfect spots and it's all free! An absolute must-see if you visit Palm Beach.

The Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea, located in Palm Beach, is a serene and historic Episcopal church with beautiful surroundings. Additionally, the Church Mouse serves as the consignment shop for this iconic landmark.

Beautiful atmosphere and peaceful spirit. The architecture alone pulls you into reflection, and the gardens feel like a piece of heaven on Earth. It’s a place where silence speaks, and every corner reminds you how close God really is when you slow down to listen. Only reason it’s not a full 5 is limited accessibility in some areas during service hours but the peace here outweighs any inconvenience. Chris Irvin completely ruined our photoshoot at the church. We had paid for and obtained a permit to use the church grounds during specific hours for photos. Everything was going great until he suddenly appeared with aggression and hostility while we were in the middle of posing for photos. Without warning, he aggressively positioned himself directly in front of the camera, preventing us from taking a picture we just posed for. When we immediately informed him that we had permission to be there, he became hostile. He angrily demanded to see our permit, which we explained it was in our car and will go retrieve it. Despite Telling him I was going to retrieve it, he refused to listen and continued harassing us for more then 20 minutes, accusing us of lying and even suggesting we were going to show him a fake permit while getting even more angry by the minute. His behavior became increasingly threatening - he balled his fists as if preparing to become physical, and repeatedly threatened to call the police on people who paid to be at the church grounds for pictures during specific times and who followed every single rule we were told beforehand. Only after he calmed down slightly and loosened his balled fist did I feel safe to get the permit. After showing him the permit he angrily stormed away with both of his fists once again balled up. We noticed he went to other people in the area who weren't in a minority group like we are also taking pictures and he did not approach them with the same aggression and hostility he displayed toward us. The best part is I believe those people he calmly talked to didn't have a permit because as soon as he talked to them they left the property. The situation worsened for us near the end of our scheduled time. Just as we were taking our final photos before leaving, he reappeared and started harassing us again about leaving. He deliberately jumped between us and the camera again to prevent our last picture we posed for around 4:25 PM and was ready to take before leaving at our designated time of 4:30 PM . Despite having already wasted 20 minutes of our paid time earlier, he then harassed nonstop 8 plus minutes until we no longer felt as if we were being treated properly and left. As we were walking to our cars, he followed us and recorded us on his phone claiming that we was not going to leave, even though we had clearly stated we were leaving and was exiting towards the parking lot. Chris Irvin's harassment and aggressive attitude completely ruined the day and what we paid for. If not for his unprofessional, aggressive, and hostile behavior I would have left a positive review about this place.

RESPONSE TO YOU AND YOUR STAFF: Your reply is misleading and dismissive of my experience. The woman you claim was a “visitor” personally told me she was a manager, which makes it very apparent that instead of addressing my concern, you are choosing to distort the truth. This only deepens the disrespect I felt as a guest. If you read your many past reviews, it is clear that my situation is not an isolated incident. Time and again, people describe being met with hostility, aggression, and a lack of compassion by your staff. This pattern points to a failure in leadership to train, supervise, and hold employees accountable. While I understand my photographer may not have been as transparent as he should have been, that does not excuse the cruel, unprofessional way your staff handled what was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Instead of acting with kindness and grace, they belittled and disrupted a sacred, personal occasion. I will not be returning, donating, or considering this church for any future wedding or event. I stand by my review and will also be contacting parish leadership directly to ensure they are aware of how their staff conducts themselves. Your attempt to shift blame does not change the fact that the behavior shown toward us was wrong and unbecoming of any church. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My fiancé and I came to Bethesda-by-the-Sea for a private marriage proposal — a once in a lifetime moment. Beforehand, our photographer spoke with the front desk lady, who gave us permission to take photos on the grounds. Despite this, both a blonde female manager and a maintenance staff member stormed in mid-proposal, tried to ruin it, and even threatened to call the police. Their behavior was cruel, unprofessional, and frankly disgusting — they acted more like demons and vultures than representatives of a church. Looking at their many other negative reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident. Staff here have repeatedly shown hostility and a lack of basic customer service, and leadership has failed to train or hold them accountable. Regardless of being “private property,” Bethesda is still a nonprofit church. With the amount of money they bring in through donations, weddings, and events, it’s hard not to ignore the sense they are scamming the system while treating people with contempt. A true church should embody kindness, love, and compassion. Instead, this place has turned cold, greedy, and hostile. Christ Himself would be ashamed and appalled at the way they treated us and others. Until the parish leadership takes responsibility and reforms their staff, I strongly warn anyone against choosing this location for a proposal, wedding, or any meaningful moment.

Very nice place to take the family and go back in time, learn about history and how things started here in Florida. There are several replicas of buildings from the early 1700’s, 1800’s and some original buildings that were transferred there, which includes an old school,, a general store, blacksmith shop and other houses. They have a museum too, a general store for shopping and a lot of information to learn about the early days in Florida. We visited for Halloween, and in each station (house) they had candy for the kids, and they had a booklet to stamp with each stop to collect a big prize at the end. It was very entertaining and we learned a lot! I was transported in time specially at the old school!

CityPlace is a wonderful spot for shopping and family time! The location is perfect — everything is within walking distance: Starbucks, cute clothing stores (including kids’ shops), ice cream shops, and great restaurants for every taste. Our kids especially loved the splash area near the “Wishing Tree.” It’s the best place to cool off during the hot Florida days — and in the evening, the tree lights up in beautiful colors. On weekends, there’s live music and fun activities — we were lucky to catch a great band playing while parents relaxed and kids had fun! During our visit, there was also a pumpkin patch — beautifully decorated, even though we caught a bit of rain, the kids didn’t mind at all. Parking is paid (about $11), but the exit is super convenient — right into the plaza with the Wishing Tree and splash area. There’s also a restroom near the parking elevators — always very clean. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back!

First time to CACTI Park Spring training 2025. Great venue with amazing seats all around. Grounds are beautiful and the everything so well kept. So why only 4 stars? PRICES! Spring training is for the real baseball fan. It not just a night out in the big city where people don't really even watch the game. I came here because you really get a feel for the game. The special place baseball has in American past time. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing games at the big ball parks too where I expected to pay big park prices. But not here, $11-15 for a beer, 8$ for peanuts. Come on CACTI park, you can do better!

The Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach offers a wide range of programs and events, as well as free learning opportunities in various subjects. The library also features an on-site cafe for visitors to enjoy while reading or attending events. Visitors can participate in activities like playing Dungeons and Dragons in private rooms and explore the spacious and clean facilities. The library's extensive book selection is another highlight for many visitors.
Great library and friendly staff! It’s close to downtown and not a bad walk from the free docks if you’re coming from the waterfront. Main floor has some books, the checkout desk, and a window to the connected cafe to get drinks and snacks. Second floor is technology and studios. Third floor is for kids, mostly aimed at younger, but my upper elementary kids found graphic novels they enjoyed on that floor. Fourth is biggest with a huge array of computers, copier/printer/scanner, and lots of tables and places to sit and read or charge devices or work.

I visit the Mandel Public Library almost every week and am always impressed. Most recently, I had a wonderful experience at their Fall Wreath making workshop. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. The environment is clean, quiet, and provides ample seating and study areas with reliable Wi-Fi and plenty of power outlets. I particularly love the fantastic weekly activities offered from Happy Little Painting, sculpting and sewing classes.

I had the pleasure of using the notary service of Alyssa, Notary Public at the Mandel Public Library. I had an excellent experience getting multiple documents signed and notarized. Alyssa was professional, knowledgeable and very efficient in getting everything notarized. I would recommend this notary service 100%.

I joined the online reading challenge on a whim. After a few books, it said I could pick out one at the fourth floor. Cool. Finally get around to it, and they have Sunrise on the Reaping! I've been waiting four months for this book online and have at least four more. Except now it's mine! Otherwise, I really enjoy this library. There's laptops to borrow. The fourth floor looks amazing. And every staff member I've spoken to is really cool.

The children’s floor is absolutely amazing! From storytime to all the activities, there is an entire floor dedicated just to kids. If you have a child between 0–4 years old, I highly recommend keeping track of their events. You’ll find experiences that money can’t buy, along with the chance to meet wonderful new mom friends. Special thanks and love to dear Ms. Camilla, who is so valuable to us. She hosts storytime on Wednesdays — my daughter still remembers and loves her very much.

I have many childhood memories at this library. This is one of the largest libraries I’ve ever been to. Great location great atmosphere. Many activities for every to do and many books for everyone to read

We showed up 40 minutes early for KidSpace music class sign-ups with three small children after driving 35+ minutes, and my sister also driving 30 minutes to help me. While I was downstairs breastfeeding my baby, my sister waited upstairs and was told she couldn’t sign up until 30 minutes before the class. When the line finally started, she got in line only to be told 20 minutes before class that she couldn’t sign up without the kids physically being present, even though we were just one floor down. By the time we ran upstairs, the list had filled and we were turned away. Blatant disregard for our time & our kids feelings. So many better ways to have handled this situation.

Ragtops Motorcars is a museum located in West Palm Beach, Florida, that showcases a stunning collection of classic cars and memorabilia. The museum features vintage posters, neon signs, antique bumper cars, gasoline pumps, and other nostalgic items from the 30s and 40s. Visitors can immerse themselves in the ambiance of a bygone era with displays of white-wall tires, spoked wheels, and metal-bar bumpers.
What a great little gem in Lake Worth! A nice assortment of cars from the 1930’s to the 1980’s (?) that are for sale. The inventory is ever changing so it’s always worth going back. My first visit was maybe 10 years ago and I’m always amazed at the display of unique cars. The owner and staff were super friendly. Be sure to call ahead to make sure they’re open and not out acquiring new inventory. Admission is free but don’t forget to put some money in the donation jar.

We visited yesterday and the museum was much more than what we expected. The range, of beautifully maintained vehicles was amazing. They have such a wonderful variety of vehicles from different eras and styles. The historical descriptions were helpful and very interesting. The staff were friendly and provided expert insight into everything we looked at. Their care and passion for their vehicles is very obvious. If you have an interest in cars and visit Palm Beach county, this is an interesting and fun visit.

The Harriet Himmel Theater, located in the heart of Rosemary Square, is a beautifully restored and architecturally significant space that serves as the cultural centerpiece of CityPlace. This 11,000-square-foot facility hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, exhibitions, weddings, bar mitzvahs, receptions, banquets, fashion shows, seminars, and meetings.
Our son and his new wife were just married at the Himmel this weekend (5/26/18) and the venue was the most beautiful place to have a wedding and reception. But more importantly Jaimie Hart (from the Hilton who coordinates the events at the Himmel) was utterly amazing! The bride and groom live out of state so they planned the wedding/reception with Jaimie via phone and email. She was so attentive and every detail was completely taken care of without worry. She made great suggestions when we weren't sure of a detail and she helped every step of the way. The food was amazing and it was so beautiful.

Greg J — Google review
After several months of visiting venues and seeing options within our price range we stumbled upon the Harriet Himmel. Immediately the gorgeous chandeliers and candlelit background caught my eye. I wanted a romantic venue but something different from the regular South Florida hotel weddings. After my wedding, everyone raved about how beautiful and romantic our venue was and our church, Holy Trinity which was also right down the street and had the same dark wood romantic look. Doug from Ovations was amazing from beginning to end. I did not have a wedding coordinator which made me uneasy but Doug made sure I did not have to worry about anything. He was very attentive and helpful with my many questions, so easy to work with, and his team went above on beyond to make sure hubby and me had a smile and a champagne glass all through the night. The balcony at the Harriet Himmel was very convenient as we had a cigar roller – this was a huge hit. The food was great (the prime rib was amazing), the service was excellent, and knowing that CityPlace will always have a special place for us every time we walk by is the cherry on top. I would definitely recommend the Harriet Himmel to other brides out there as it was one of the best decisions I made towards planning my dream wedding! ~ CS

I was here as an event attendee. I cannot describe how it is to host an event here. But from the point of view of an attendee, this space was great. Place was full of guests, but the AC never quit. Felt nice and cool the whole night. Don't know if the food and drink staff is with the theater, or from outside caterer, but the staff was professional, competent, and most importantly: friendly. Great night!

We had our daughter's wedding a few weeks ago and the place, the team, the organization and the catering were just wonderful. Thank you Dough Brown, owner of Ovations Catering, for making it so special. They were extremely helpful meeting all of our requirements. One of my favorite places to visit when I come to the Palm Beach area. I like that you can walk outside and there are many choices for shopping and eating. It is absolutely stunning during the holidays in late November and December.

The Royal Poinciana Plaza is one of our favorite places! Everything here is so tasteful and beautifully designed — from the architecture to the seasonal decor. There are plenty of shops, a lovely restaurant, a café with delicious pastries, and another spot for great coffee and smoothies to go. The plaza is always decorated by designers for the holidays — Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day — and it looks stunning every time! This time there was a pumpkin patch with a DJ, drinks, a photographer, ice cream, and other treats — fun for both kids and parents. So many photo spots and such an aesthetic atmosphere. Always a pleasure to visit and shop here — I absolutely love this place! 🎃✨🛍️

Palm Beach Island, Florida, offers a luxurious and less crowded destination compared to traditional luxury markets like Miami. The island is known for its beautiful beaches and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. Visitors can enjoy the stunning views and serene surroundings without the hustle and bustle of more popular beach areas. While street parking is available, there are also paid parking options for convenience. Additionally, the island features lifeguard-monitored beach areas for safety during certain times of the day.
Spent a wonderful evening with my husband. Nothing really happens on this beach. Food is expensive and no live entertainment. We decided to bring our own… this made for a wonderful evening. Also make sure you bring money to pay for parking.
Rachel A — Google review
Our visit to Palm Beach was somewhat disappointing. The beach was very windy and not as clean as we had hoped, with an unpleasant odor from the seaweed. However, we enjoyed the surrounding area, particularly the numerous palm trees - true to the name “Palm Beach” - that add to the scenic beauty. Despite the issues with the beach, the area’s natural charm still made for a memorable visit.

Parking: Parking can be limited, especially during peak seasons. Utilize public parking areas or consider biking around the island. Palm Beach Island is a destination that seamlessly blends natural beauty with cultural richness. Whether you’re seeking relaxation on its pristine beaches, indulging in luxury shopping, or immersing yourself in its historical landmarks, the island offers a memorable experience for all who visit.

This island is a “ghost town” in the summer months. Literally no one is there; no one walking the streets; beaches are empty. Seems like people visit here only in winter, when the weather is more bearable. The island is pretty, but a bit overhyped (nice houses, but nothing so incredible).

Natural History Museums
The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History is a small museum with interesting fossils, including the only triceratops skeleton in south Florida. It's great for kids and entertaining, and admission is cheap. They want to expand so this is exciting news!
Ann is truly a wealth of information. She needs to write a book! Or two! We went with three adults and two children (6yr & 2yr). The kids played with toys while running back and forth to listen to Ann. The adults, as Dino enthusiasts, found the tour to be exceptionally informative and we learned more in 2 hours than we have in years. May be better suited for older kids but our young ones kept busy just fine with the toys and digging for Dino fossils. Ann, if you read this, write a book and please send us a copy!! Thanks so much for a fun and informative afternoon.

The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History is small but cute and interactive, and it’s right inside the mall. The exhibits are interesting, with fossils and dinosaurs that make it fun for both kids and adults. A nice little hidden spot to explore if you’re in the area!
Giselle J — Google review
It is a small exhibit of personal collections. Not to be thought of as a museum in grandeur or comparison to any renowned museums but a mini one room display of archaeological finds. Employees were kind and informative. Fun for small kids for sure, or if you cannot get to a larger display and your kids like dinosaurs
Essmie F — Google review
This spot is such a fun little outing for the kids, especially if they’re into dinosaurs! It’s not a huge place, so you’ll only need about an hour, but it’s full of hands-on activities. The tour guide was awesome—super lively and made the whole thing extra exciting. They’ve got coloring, a dino tooth dig, LEGOs, and plenty of toys to keep the little ones busy. Definitely a great family-friendly stop that brings a little Florida flair to prehistoric fun!
Lynda M — Google review
Small placed packed with so much fascinating things to see and learn about. My son had a great time and was ecstatic on how hands on they were with allowing us to handle parts of their collection. Their staff makes the whole experience exciting with their background knowledge and rich story telling. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves paleontology young and old. Our tour guide Ann was awesome. Shout for keeping it interesting, I don’t think I’ve even seen my kid so interested in learning like he did today. Thank you for making it such a wonderful experience ❤️ 👍🏻
Tania M — Google review
Such a fun little adventure for the kiddos to learn about dinosaurs and check out real fossils! It’s a smaller exhibit, so plan for about an hour, but it’s packed with hands-on fun. The guy leading the tour was super engaging, he really made the whole experience come alive. There’s coloring, a dino dig for teeth, LEGOs, and plenty of toys to keep the younger ones entertained. All in all, it’s a great family-friendly stop with a fun Florida twist!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Our son, who is an archaeology enthusiast, found the museum to be compact yet brimming with knowledge and insightful information. We are certainly eager for our next visit.
Nancy S — Google review
I had read all the reviews so I wasn't expecting a huge museum. After visiting it i think the "museum " label sounds misleading. I would call it a prehistory experience/exhibit with lecture. (Or similar) I really like the concept of a place born to exhibit the owners' passion and their personal achievements. I also found the tour very informative and rich in content. We were a group of 4 adults with 4 children: 18, 24 months, who didn't pay to enter, 4 and 5 years old. The children had fun drawing and playing in the play area. While two adults could participate to the tour, the other two adults took care of the kids (there's a lot that the kids shouldn't be touching, and obviously that is to them the most attractive object. also, a lot is at child hand level. One adult MUST be with them all the time. I was expecting to be able to choose the language the tour would be explained, but we weren't offered that option. As someone commented in a review the guided tour can be very long and tiring if what you hear is new. For this reason we asked our guide to interrupt it. We were all hungry and the children had had enough of waiting. They had expected to see dinosaur statues and they were confused. I am giving 3 stars because I still find this place a great place to visit for dinasour passionate, but only if older than 5 (possibly 6?). We really expected something more inclusive for the whole family. The two parents "babysitting" had no dinasour experience. The children's dinasour experience was playing with dinasour figurines, magnets, or coloring dinosaur prints; but it wasn't enough to leave them unattended, so that the parent could partecipate to the guided tour. I feel like they could get the same experience at home. The best experience you can get is listening to the guide, if you don't have small children to look after or to chase around. I would recommend the tour for older kids and adults. But still, that is not enough to call this place MUSEUM.

The Artwork of Reuben Hale, Inc. offers a unique and captivating experience for both locals and visitors alike. Nestled in West Palm Beach, this museum showcases the remarkable artistry of Reuben Hale through various mediums while also highlighting the stunning architecture of his historic home, which has been lovingly renovated by his family. Visitors are treated to engaging stories from Irma Hale, Reuben's daughter, who brings the artist's legacy to life.
This is a most unusual art museum in all the best ways. It’s really the story of Reuben Hale’s life a prolific local artist -and it’s told through his artwork and the labor of love, which is the historic house and garden he transformed. It’s a long tour, about an hour, and I enjoyed every minute. Don’t expect a typical museum experience. It’s very unusual. Don’t miss it.

Ages 2-200 GOOOO‼️(fall 2024 renovation reopening) THE MIND HAS NO BOUNDARIES!!! Reuben Hale, who imbibed at the Waldorf Astoria with fellow famous abstract expressionists, WAS A BRILLIANT artist, inventor, transformer, etc.! SEE the VIDEO of the multi-functional light fixture on steroids. His art and home/museum is a combo of THE MET and the Addam’s Family-every where I turned wondering how the next could be more compelling or if something might jump out. The 1927 art deco home maintained exactly as he artfully transformed it. The grounds with sculptures throughout - sheer nirvana. Every young person should experience this to understand that THE MIND HAS NO BOUNDARIES!!!

The Artwork of Reuben Hale is an incredible experience! Both locals and tourists will enjoy touring the house and gardens, and hearing stories from the director, Irma Hale (Reuben's daughter). The museum is impressive on many levels: the incredible art of Reuben Hale, in many media; the stunning architecture of the home and its renovations and additions by the Hale family; and the history of Palm Beach County neighborhoods and art scene in the last half of the 20th century. Do yourself a favor and book a tour at this most precious of gems in Palm Beach County!
