Absolutely loved our lunch at Milk and Madhu! The service was top-notch – we’re super picky vegetarians (no egg, no fish oil) and Captain Puspa and Novi were amazing, guiding us through the menu without batting an eye. She suggested the Summer Slice Pizza and OH MY GOD – best pizza EVER. I seriously still can’t get over how good it was. Big shoutout to the team for making a Milo Shake for us, even though it’s supposed to be just for kids. That was such a nice touch! We had an awesome lunch and can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend this place!

I came here on a Sunday to try their special brunch, and it was such a great way to start the day! I had the cheeseburger with a beer — absolutely delicious and satisfying. Then I couldn’t resist trying the dessert: an apple crumble pie with ice cream. It was simply amazing! I left with such positive vibes and a big smile. The atmosphere here is wonderful- friendly people, great music, and an overall lovely energy. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to:)

We came here based on reviews and had breakfast and dinner. Everything was great. They had breakfast promotions, and it was incredibly crowded. A line formed after we sat down, but it wasn't as crowded that evening, so we enjoyed our meal comfortably. Since we don't eat pork, they offered to swap our menu items for other items, which was very nice. We enjoyed the lasagna for dinner. The ice cream is safe, and the food is delicious. We recommend it.

Nice atmosphere in the morning and in the evening because inside gets too hot at noon (due to big glass windows). You can enjoy great cocktails (you pay one get two during the happy hour). I ordered grilled fish and salad -the portion was a bit small- but it was really delicious. Prices are a bit above average. Service was very fast.

The food here is soo good!! The smash burger was so juicy and flavoursome, and the fries were nice and crispy! My boyfriend got the chicken Parma which was one a deal for 99k, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were super friendly and even let me do some colouring haha they also offer seltzers on the drink menu which was fun to try! I would definitely recommend to eat and drink at Milk & Madu!!

When you come to Ubud, don’t skip this amazing place! I have had the best chicken burger of my life follwed by an amazing apple crumble dessert. The people who work there are so so so kind and loving. I would come back even to see them again💛

Tricky place to find especially at night around 8.00pm and not being a local. Around 30 min to find the path. A beautiful view surrounded this Café. The atmosphere must be amazing if they welcome you. Service was really bad from the beginning. The waitress was already unhappy and the first things she told us were close in 20 min. So Hurry up to order, please 😂. Food was good but nothing special. The atmosphere must be amazing during breakfast and lunch.

Easily one of the best places to eat true health food in Ubud - if not the best. All based in organic + coconut oil cooking. So many options all tasty as it gets. The owner is an absolute legend of a human! Brilliant atmosphere to lounge and relax in

They said in the clear weather we can see the volcano from the restaurant, unfortunately i came when it was cloudy, and I couldn't see the volcano, but I still could see the beautiful green scenery. They have indoor, semi outdoor and outdoor area, you can choose with perfect for you. I went there at Nov 2025, and since it was cloudy I choose a semi outdoor. The food is delicious, I had indonesia menu and I loved it. They also have smoothy, healthy food, and indonesia food. The staff also are kind and helpfull, and they served the food quite fast. But, they don't have parking load, you have to come by walk or motorcycle.

Just a short step outside central Ubud, we discovered a magical little neighborhood that felt like another world… The soulful, spiritual side of Ubud I had been hoping to find. Tucked away in a quiet lane, Yellow Flower Café carries that same energy: a soulful vibe, warm and peaceful, with the feeling of a hidden gem. The food was outstanding! The poached eggs with vegetables „The Stack“ were a revelation, and the smoothie bowl was as beautiful as it was nourishing. Everything here feels crafted with care, for both body and soul.

A very beautiful restaurant with amazing views. The food was excellent. The staff were kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to help us out when we were in a major hurry due to some unrelated issues earlier that day. I'm very glad we managed to eat here during our honeymoon. Highly recommended

A local cafe, a peaceful garden in the middle of the jungle. The perfect place to relax and enjoy some good food and coffee. Went there twice during my stay in a Ubud. The 7 Heaven coffee and the Wild orange cake are delicious. The staff is very friendly and kind. I give it 5 stars 🤩.

Yummy food, very beautiful and peaceful place. Only 35 euro for 3 people each had a starter and main dish, drinks and even a big bottle kombucha. We had a vegan, a fish and meat eater, all happy. Update: unfortunately I had Bali belly after the vegan wrap. It never digested even not the next day, I had diarrea all the time and than I gave up and throw up the wrap. How it’s possible not to digest by the next day, it’s really amazing. Had painful cramps and many many gasses… I’m very sorry about it because I really liked the place so much🥺

Visited Clear Cafe in Ubud recently, and I absolutely fell in love with the space! The café has such a bright, airy, and inviting atmosphere, a perfect blend of comfort and style that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment. I tried their Nasi Goreng, and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served with such care. On top of that, I tried several of their fresh juices, and each one was refreshing, vibrant, and made with high-quality ingredients that complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the visit feel warm and comfortable. Whether you’re looking for a healthy meal, a fresh juice fix, or a relaxing spot to unwind, Clear Cafe is the perfect choice. Overall, Clear Cafe is a must-visit in Ubud for anyone who enjoys delicious food, tasty drinks, and a beautifully curated space. So good to be back! Been in love with Clear Cafe for a few years so happy that the food, service and ambiance are as good as I remember. It’s a heaven for vegetarian and vegan but I believe omnivore can find something that they enjoy too.

Was recommended this place from a good friend who said it was his favourite cafe in Ubud, and I now see why! We visited twice whilst in Ubud, and loved the food, ambience and staff, as well as the zen beats and spiritual customers. Highly recommend the Pad Thai and Diamond Detox juice/tonic - both of which were so cleansing and delicious.We even went upstairs for a massage which was beautiful too. Such great vibes and a must visit whilst in the heart of Ubud town centre. We’ll be coming back for sure!!

Clear Cafe in Ubud is one of my all-time favorite spots. I’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The food is exceptional (don’t miss the mushroom pasta!), drinks are delicious, and the staff is always kind and professional. The interior is beautifully designed, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. You can also enjoy high-quality massages and spa treatments right on-site — it’s the perfect place to unwind. We saw this restaurant on IG as place must to visit and definitely worth it. Super cozy, pretty small cafe. Lovely outdoor sitting area too. Great choice of food. Very nice & friendly staff. Dishes looked amazing.

This place has a pretty cool vibe. We have eaten here multiple times and were not vegetarians. Wife loves the Mediterranean platter, i had tempo burger, Thai salad, tapas..... we'll be back know doubt.

Beautiful cafe with amazing aesthetics in ubud. We arrived early as we were waiting for our driver to reach. Had a quick coffee and turmeric drink with croissant. Everything was great quality . Staff were friendly and we would like to visit again.

Fantastic menu, compliments to the chef- everything we’ve had has been delicious. We work around the corner and Lazy Cats has now became a regular lunch spot , despite not being vegetarians. Have tried 6/7 dishes now and each one has been great. Well priced and great price for a bintang. Playlists always hit. Happy customer :)

I’ve always wanted to pop by this café, and finally made my way here today. I really love the space airy, bright, and inviting and the menu is impressively extensive. 😋 I came in for an afternoon coffee and was excited to find one of the few places in Ubud that serves a blended frappé. Unfortunately, the drink was very disappointing, it tasted bland, with hardly any coffee flavor, almost like watered-down coffee. A flavored ice-blended option might work better, but sadly that isn’t on the menu. I’d consider coming back if I wanted to spend time with a friend over a meal because the space is lovely. Otherwise, I’d probably give it a miss. Also, do take note that they have a no workspace policy, so it’s not a spot for working on a laptop.

Zest Ubud is a place where you instantly feel at home. The location is simply stunning – surrounded by greenery with a bright, open atmosphere that radiates both peace and inspiration. Every corner is warmly and thoughtfully designed, and you can feel the love for detail everywhere. The vegan menu is impressively diverse and truly delicious – every dish we tried was fresh, creative, and full of flavor. A must-try are the Spicy Corn Ribs and the fruit bowls – both are a perfect 10/10! What we especially loved is that plant-based food here isn’t treated as just an alternative, but as a full culinary experience in its own right. Within only four days we visited twice, simply because we enjoyed it so much – which says it all. The team also makes the experience even more special: the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and create such a positive vibe. For us, Zest Ubud is definitely one of the absolute highlights in Bali!

Our absolute favorite place in Ubud! We’ve tried so many restaurants and cafés in Bali, sometimes 4–5 a day, but after visiting Zest we didn’t want to go anywhere else. The atmosphere is so unique — it can’t really be put into words, you just have to experience it. We came in the morning, during the day, in the evening, even late at night… and every time the energy felt so special. It’s incredibly cozy and makes you want to spend the whole day there, every day. The restaurant is fully vegan — which for me, as a non-vegan, after the third visit meant there was less excitement in trying new dishes — but still, everything is so unique and creative. And the selection of drinks is just amazing.

The staff and team here are some of the best. They are all super kind, very helpful, and full of smiles!! Great chill music, sometimes great live music. The views are also spectacular!! NOTE to the OWNER; please be aware of guests who sit around all day and take up space who are not ordering food or taking up entire tables with a laptop. It creates a low vibe and encourages a “work vibe”. Maybe make a laptop area only and tell guest who just sit around to kindly be on their way and let other people sit down. Best vegan food we've had in Ubud. I love that they have so many gluten free options too. Our fave food were the sushi, cauliflower wings (AMAZING) and the pizza. Healthy choices, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. This place is always crowded with tourists hanging out or working on laptops (in the afternoon). I think both times we visited, once for lunch and once for dinner, we were the only locals :)

Stunning venue, and one of the most beautiful set in a restaurant I’ve seen across the globe. The service was very polite but little bit slow, though that’s not an issue in Bali. The whole piece of life is slow. However, the menu is tasty with a really good selection of vegan food yet was really lacking in protein dishes. They pointed out protein boosts to their foods but really needed some more Tempe and tofu on the menu. Highly recommended though.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Bali!! Didn’t even know it was vegan my fist time here and came back a few days later with a huge group. Everyone could not stop raving about how good each meal, drink, and dessert was incredible!! Mushroom parmigiana and the chocolate goddess ball were the favorites for sure! Yulita was our server and she was so lovely, attentive and helpful!! Can’t wait to be back!

I loved it overall but certain things need improvement. 😇 I absolutely loved Pelmeni dumplings with jackfruit&mushroom which came with sour cream and butter sauce! 10/10 but i was dissappointed by the stirloin steak i ordered :( first one came completely cold and when i told the waitress it was cold, she immediately took action and they served me another one, second time the food was served warm but the meat was not as juicy as i was expecting but overall the staff was very welcoming, they seemed relaxed and friendly. Also the place has a cozy vibe, especially in the evening! They have a lot of different options to eat&drink. Thank you!

Excellent spot for any time of day. Their menu is so wide ranging that no matter what you are craving they probably are serving it. Never had a bad meal here over our month long stay in Ubud. Service is great. They bring the card reader to you when you check out if paying by card.

I loved my experience at KAFE. The staff were very polite and welcoming. I enjoyed my tandoori chicken wrap and lemon, ginger and honey elixer. They have good wifi and two floors of seating, I was able to get a 5 hour work session done peacefully. Highly recommend the spot.

I love Kafe! I would come almost every morning during my stay in Ubud and sit on the cushions and drink matcha and read a book. I will definitely miss here but excited to come back when I'm ever in Ubud again. Highly recommend!

They have a coffee house , a music store and a restaurant all in one place. You can eat while purchasing CDs and music merchandise or you can look at them while drinking your coffee. They also conduct coffee making workshops. We ordered spring rolls, a smoothie , a tart which were good.We also ordered a vegan dessert which wasnt much good. They have valet parking service, which is very good because we couldnt see any space to park our scooter.

Retro Vibes & Serious Coffee Very cool café with an 80s retro feel and a creative, artistic décor. The coffee-making setup is super advanced — you can tell they take their craft seriously. It’s a great spot to read, chill, and enjoy a quality cup of coffee. I had the avocado toast and it was well done. The egg Portuguese tart was alright, a bit overcooked for my liking, but still enjoyable. Overall, a stylish café with excellent coffee and a unique vibe. Worth checking out if you’re in Ubud.

Came across this coffee place on the internet and based on the photos gave it a shot….. WOW, the atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly. I ordered the Define Void…. Strawberry based tea, delicious, and my gf had the affogato 5 elements, which came with two coffee testers. As you can see, very well presented. And most importantly….. THE COFFEE IS GREAT☕️☕️

Seniman Coffee Studio: Chill Vibes and Single-Origin Beans When traveling, the hunt for quality specialty coffee is always on, and Indonesia, with its rich history of beans, promises much. Seniman Coffee Studio in Bali not only meets that promise but wraps it in a perfectly unique atmosphere. Even if your travel partner (like my Mindy) isn't a coffee fanatic, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Quality and Variety: The focus here is clearly on showcasing Indonesian coffee heritage. Seniman offers about a dozen different single-origin coffees, available both hot and iced by the cup. While some are locally sourced from Bali, the entire selection is proudly Indonesian. My choice was the Affogato "5 Elements". This unique dessert is an assortment of different coffees and accompanying coffee ice creams. While Mindy steered clear of the coffee, she was more than happy to help me tackle the yummy ice cream :) It’s a delightful and memorable presentation that elevates a simple affogato into a culinary experience. Chill Vibe and Seating: Beyond the coffee, the studio itself is just a pretty cool place. The seating areas are chill, making it easy to relax and unwind. We chose to sit outside, which provided a great opportunity to people-watch and soak up the local energy. The combination of good coffee, unique presentations, and a genuinely relaxed cafe makes Seniman a perfect pit stop.

Seniman coffee is a great spot to check out. Their dishes are reasonably priced, served in generous portions and are quite filling. They also offer alternatives for those who prefer non-coffee drinks. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a good spot to chat with friends.

A vegan heaven ✨ If I had 10 stars, I'd put them. The food? Mind-blowing. The coffee? First of all, I don't drink regular coffee. And I found here decaf 😭 And it was beyond good. One of the best quality coffees I've ever had. The restaurant? Beautiful. And most of all, quiet. With clients that respect each other. I can't stand anymore all these tourists doing whatever they want such as they are in their living room. And the variety of foods, drinks, sweets? Large. Alchemy was a very, very, very pleasant surprise 🙏💖 (And yes, it's a little bit expensive, but almost same prices you can find in other places with not such quality and variety. It's your choice after all) ☺️

Alchemy is always a reliable choice, whether for tea, lunch, or dinner – even their yoga studio is amazing. I especially love their herbal tea and always buy a pack to take home. This time I tried the Capricciosa pizza for the first time, but it was too salty for my taste. Not sure if that was intentional, as I usually love Alchemy’s food for being simple and mild in flavor.

I had the green curry which was comforting, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. You can tell they use super fresh ingredients. The matcha was smooth, earthy, and no bitterness at all, just the right balance. And the coffee? Rich, aromatic, and satisfying, honestly one of the best cups I’ve had in Bali. The atmosphere is also amazing, calm, open, and beautifully designed, with lovely staff!. Whether you’re vegan, health-conscious, or just looking for genuinely delicious food, Alchemy is a gem.

The café has a lovely environment, very cozy and beautifully designed. However, the drinks were really disappointing. All the herbal and floral teas tasted strange and unbalanced. The almond milk matcha latte was especially bad, it tasted sour and unpleasant

We came here for lunch & dinner and I think it’s an OK place. 1st time we hadn’t done enough research on Ubud vegan fold and the 2nd time we thought give it a chance. It’s a bit too focussed on wellbeing and not on the food creativity on mains. The seats are very uncomfortable. We had pesto pasta and a shawarma wrap for lunch, the other time a laksa “soup” and a burger for dinner. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Was having the best morning here, having my proper breakfast after arriving in Ubud recently. It was the vibe that I enjoyed the most. Felt so nourished and charged being there for 2,5hr. The team there is a group of attentive people and they served genuinely from the heart. Especially Nana. She was such a sweet lady offering me a loyalty card right away. Happy to connect with her. We had a yummy breakfast here! There was no line to wait and we got seated immediately. We ordered the green smoothie, breakfast smoothie, two sides of scrambled eggs, the classic pancakes, and the berry pancakes. They were all so yummy! The eggs were perfect and the smoothies were refreshing. I think our favorite was the green smoothie. It was yummy!

Amazing food and wonderful staff! I’ve been coming here for over 1.5 years and more than 10 times and I have never once been disappointed. It used to be called Suka Espresso, but now I think it’s called Bonnie in the evening where you can then come for dinner. I’ve tried their salad bowls, the chicken katsu sandwich (forgive me if I got the name slightly wrong), breakfast dishes, and even desserts and everything has been consistently delicious. What makes this place truly special, though, is the staff. They are warm, welcoming, and genuinely make the whole experience unforgettable. I want to sincerely thank the entire team, it’s a joy to eat here not just because the food is amazing, but because the people are amazing too. Wishing you all the very best, and I can’t wait to come back!

I looked around to find a very local café — not one of those fancy Instagram spots — and it was perfect. Just go, sit upstairs, and enjoy great coffee and avocado toast. I recommend not trying their cookies, because they’re the best I’ve ever had and now I don’t know how I’m supposed to live without them anymore 😂😂

A chilled out great spot, we came here twice! Good coffee and bagels, we then sat and enjoyed reading our books here. The staff were so lovely! Reasonable prices compared to other brunch spots too.

We enjoyed the coffee very much. Flatwhite and cappuccino are our standard go-to. But although the Monkey Cave Espresso Bar is so close to a touristic place the coffee is exceptional good. The ratio of milk, foam and coffee convinced us in a way that we came back.

Chill vibes drinking cold drinks on a hot day at the second floor/balcony. We ordered iced coffee ice cream and iced chocolate ice cream. Both tastes great.

We can highly recommend Ivy as the best brunch spot in Ubud! The food is fresh and on point every time, the coffee is top notch, and the WiFi is quick. You have to try the passion fruit mocktails, they're absolutely amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful too, and made us feel very welcome.

Ivy is our new favourite cafe/restaurant in Ubud, tried all the food and it was all amazing, especially the chicken quinoa salad and the toastie with tomato soup. I loved Watercress! Went here 5 times in 5 days time. The staff is lovely and food & coffee really good. It’s the same company as Milk & Madu so if you like them, def come here as well. The seating area is really nice and they also have an upstairs area!

A charming place for any time of the day. The food is very good, especially the breakfasts - there are many options and all delicious. They also offer a wide variety of dishes for lunch and dinner, and the truth is that everything is great. The attention is another strong point: the waiters are very friendly and attentive, always with a smile. Especially Ririn, one of the waitresses, who makes the experience even more pleasant with her sympathy and excellent treatment. Without a doubt, a place where it is nice to return again and again. Food is ok. I guess they charge a lot for the service and the vibe they offer (definitely built for tourists—white ppl for sure; judging from the design and toilet interior (no little shower that you’d normally find in typical local toilets). Once in a lifetime is nice. Especially for a special occasion (as I did for a farewell with a friend). Beyond that I guess you need to earn gold.

TLDR: Good service, comfortable atmosphere, great drinks, food was okay for meat eaters, but disappointing if you are veggie/gf We came here for dinner tonight and had a mixed experience. I’ll start with the positive, the service: as you’d expect in Bali it was warm, friendly and very attentive. The space itself was clean, comfortable and well looked after too. The drinks we had were excellent as well, and the 2-4-1 happy hour is great value. The food was a mixed bag and didn’t blow us away. My partner is vegetarian and gluten free, and she ordered the roasted beetroot for her main. When the plate arrived it was quite bare - 90% beetroot with a few greens and cubes of cheese doused in vinegar. There wasn’t anything else to it like a filling base of mash/rice/greens to justify listing this as a “main” in the menu - maybe this one’s on us for not looking at the menu detailedly enough, but if something is listed as a main I expect it to be more filling. As a side or starter, it would’ve been okay. I had the ribs which were very flavourful, but laid on top of a papaya salad which had too much vinegar for my liking. The tres leches for dessert was good. Again, top stars to the staff for noticing my partner wasn’t wild on the beetroot and offering to remove it from the bill. The surprise amouse bouches were great too. I would come back if they expanded their gluten free offerings!

Everything about Copper was truly outstanding. We had the pumpkin soup, pork ribs, and duck — each dish was exceptional. The pumpkin soup, in particular, was soulful and comforting, perfect for a cool, rainy evening. The focaccia they served was absolutely divine. Every dish was a five-star experience, made even better by the warm and genuine hospitality of the staff. Amazing from every angle.

The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the staff is very professional and friendly. However, we had much higher expectations for the food. We started with welcome cocktails and a small bite, which was a very nice touch and tasted good. Our mocktails were also enjoyable. For a starter, we ordered the jumbo shrimp – it looked great on the plate, but serving just one shrimp (where 70% of it is shell and head) was definitely not a good idea- anyway the sauces used in this dish were excellent and gave it an amazing flavor. Next came the chicken breast sous vide – it was simply fine. The portion was small (as expected for this type of restaurant), but the grey sauce was not good, while the vegetables were perfectly julienned and delicious – though again, there was very little of them. The ribs were just average, and unfortunately, they didn’t fall off the bone as they should have. The vegetables they were served on were far too vinegary. The potato purée, on the other hand, was tasty and served in a generous portion. The salad we ordered to go with the starter was also just okay Overall, a pleasant experience with excellent service and a few dishes that really stood out, though there is still room for improvement when it comes to balance and portions.

My wife and I visited for the special romantic dinner during our honeymoon. We were given a table surrounded by flowers in the shape of a heart, in a secluded offshoot of the main restaurant which we had all to ourselves. We were treated like total VIPs as we were served a multi-course set meal (with much flexibility for substitutions) and wine pairing. The main restaurant is already beautiful, but we were treated in such a way that the other patrons must have been wondering who we were. The food was delicious. The presentation beautiful. Atmosphere out of this world. The staff take a lot of pride in their work here, and it is a very special place. I'm told that they grow all of their own vegetables on-site, and prepare basically all food and components from scratch. It really shows. Ria in particular was a joy to talk to and took super great care of us. My only regret is that we did not reserve a room here when we were setting up our honeymoon, but we certainly will if we're ever back in town. The VIP romantic dinner (here in particular) is a once in a lifetime experience. Don't pass it up.

This was the best meal we’ve had in Bali. We walked over two miles to get to this pace and it was well worth it. We got the prawns, tofu, wagyu and the ribs. All were 12/10. The cocktails were delicious as well and they give you a nice hold towel when you come in to cool you off they also gave us a couple lemongrass shots and bread with pumpkin spread. Very nice servers, would happily go back!

So I ordered the ribs and when they came to the table oh my gosh they were so tough I can barely bite it nevertheless chew it. The manager came over and offered me something else. I requested the sirlion medium rare. That tasted buttery melt in your mouth it was a Prime Sirloin. Now here's my problem I've been on the toilet for 6 hours I didn't even finish the steak only because I had eaten all the vegetables and salad and bread however at this point I'm not even going to finish it. I waited 8 months to go to this restaurant I'm highly disappointed I did give it two stars because the vegetables and the drinks were good but they're ribs were tough add mashed potatoes for cold and the fact that I've been in the bathroom for 6 hours is why I'm leaving this review actually over 6 hours and I had the dinner around 6:30 pm yesterday.

We loved this restaurant, we came back two nights in a row. The atmosphere is very nice with dim lighting. The service was very good and everyone was kind. I loved everything that we got to eat there. The drinks are unique and super yummy. The hummus is absolutely delicious as well as the poke bowl and the creme brûlée. Highly recommed.

Food here was really good, lucky enough to live a walking distance here. Came here once for breakfast and lunch. Ambience is great, it's convenient but has a quiet interior and all outdoor seating, you can work here although the wifi might be a bit slow. Great place for journaling and doing art. Pastry here is fresh and food is great quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable too and staff are friendly. So glad I can get my coffee and pastry at 7am! Tempeh bowl for lunch was just right - tempeh was marinated well and veggies were crunchy and fresh.

Seriously the best restaurant I ate at in Bali. We stayed at Dinara Hotel and they included breakfast from Melali. You can order a healthy and delicious breakfast with choice of coffee or tea and fruit juices. Everything was fresh and rivals the best brunches I have had in L.A.

Good food with fair prices. 65k for salad. And cool barista art. The first salad is the Chicken Avocado Salad. The next one is Asian Chicken Salad. The Asian one was the best. It had a good sauce. They also have a lot of coffees. Prices are 36k for the cheapest one.

Came here looking for a place with stable Wi-Fi and A/C, and this spot had both, which was perfect for working. The food was very tasty, and I was really pleased with it overall. The only downside was the bread, it seemed a bit over-toasted, maybe even a little old. That said, the beef bread itself was freaking amazing, so I’ll definitely come back and try it again. I also ordered the Indonesian iced chocolate drink, and it was really nice and refreshing. This place is a very good spot to chill, get some work done, and enjoy good food. I’ll for sure give it another chance next time!

I dropped by Anomali Café during my trip to Bali. The place has a chill, cozy vibe, perfect for taking a break from all the walking. I ordered their Matcha and it was honestly really good, smooth & full of flavor. The staff were friendly and quick to serve, and I liked that the place wasn’t too loud even though it was pretty busy. Wifi is pretty good as well. If you’re a coffee lover or just want a comfortable place to relax and recharge, I definitely recommend checking out Anomali Café.

Honestly it was perfect. We ordered Nasi Goreng Lga, grilled cheese sandwich, and a V60 coffee. Everything tasted amazing. The place has a really nice vibe, whether you sit indoor or outdoor. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ubud.

Nice Coffee Bar at a Main crossing in Ubud. Good barista and fast Service. Only the Espresso, (which is the only to give you the pure Coffee taste) was too bitter. Go for a Latte or Cappuccino instead!

Love their power breakfast in the morning. So heavy I did not get hungry until evening. One complaint is their americano are served lukewarm. They should check the hot water temperature before mixing.

The best cafe in Bali hands down! Right from the myriad of artisanal blend options available to taste/ buy to the quality of the beans, food and service, this place is unbelievably good! We went here twice, the first time in the evening for a coffee and croissant and the second time for brunch. We had the ‘Aceh Gayo’ and the ‘Sumatra Kerinci’. The coffee was extremely aromatic, full bodied and perfectly brewed. The almond croissant was freshly baked and flavorful. An absolute hit especially if you are an avid coffee drinker! We ordered the power breakfast with steak for brunch which blew our minds again as to how amazing the brunch food was! In a sea full of copycat cafes in Bali, this is a truly authentic cafe! A 100% must visit!!

It's a big space with plenty of seating, so you never feel cramped. The food is incredible and the menu has tons of options - seriously something for everyone. I had their tacos, tea and vegan omelet and toast with curry spiced coconut butter and wow, everything was delicious. Really satisfying and comforting, exactly what I was craving. Highly recommend checking this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Sayuri Healing Food in Ubud is simply magical 💚. The food is 100% plant-based, fresh, and full of creativity. Every dish is not only delicious but also feels light and nourishing, designed to heal from the inside out. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, perfect to relax and enjoy. The staff is kind and always happy to explain the ingredients and health benefits 🌸. I highly recommend their raw desserts and cold-pressed juices 🥭🍓. They also offer conscious cooking classes, which are such a unique experience. Definitely one of the best places in Bali to eat healthy and with awareness 🌿✨.

This space is beyond the food, it is the energy that you just feel is welcoming, wholesome, HOME. I went back multiple times. They have some kind of open event almost every night and was such a beautiful experience every day. I was even so welcomed to speak on stage one night with open hearts. We all even danced with the workers one night it was a blast. There is so much love energy being offered here, highly recommend, home away from home feel , thank you! Pictures food wise is the "life is a blessing cake that so many recommended, the ocean love soup WOW cells feel it so good, and the cocoa ceremony shot great texture <3! Check out all the space within it too, they have a cute upstairs area that is just divine as well ! Intending this finds whoever reading it well!

A pleasant spot to sit and relax. There’s usually a program or activity going on, which makes the dining experience more enjoyable. It does get quite crowded, and you might have to share a table. I especially love the raw pasta and smoothie bowl- both are delicious! The desserts are great too, and they also sell a variety of healthy products.

Sayuri must be my favourite place to eat almost daily. As a Nutritionist, I’m always mindful of food quality, and their meals are the healthiest and tastiest around. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I love how they greet me by name every time I walk in, always smiling and full of positive energy. The atmosphere is also perfect, whether I’m relaxing in the garden sipping cacao on the lounge with friends, or enjoying the live music and vibrant energy while socialising. And their ceremonial cacao bowls and matcha (yes, bowls, not cups!) are simply the best 😋

Everyone recommending this place, but it’s only because it’s populair. It’s like the other reviews say, chihuahua-carrying-Paris-Hilton-king of people in a fancy yoga pants here acting like they’re so Buddha conscious while talking crap about everyone they know. The atmosphere there for for me is less than a zero worthy. The food… first day I came I asked about the omelet confirming it’s not a “pancake” like sort of dish. The waitress was reinsure me it wasn’t. And she convinced me by showing me how it looks like ( there is apparently a page with pictures of the dishes. On the picture it was like a scrambled eggs-kind of an omelet. But when it arrived it was a dry pancake. Exactly what I DIDN’T want. On top of that it had strong tast a mix of falafel and curry. It was very small too. And I paid for it like 85k😳. Anyway I didn’t want to judge just after 1 visit, so I came back. But Unfortunately. I ordered the meal of the day which was Melanesian noodles soup. It was so heavy YET not nutrition AT ALL! I literally just finished the tempe and some mushies and left 80% of my bowl. I NEVER leave food. I’m extremely bloated with very heavy feeling in my stomach and offcourse I’m still craving to eat something. But I just can’t. The dish came also lukewarm. I won’t return. And advice to look out for those kind of “populair” kind of places. It’s basically a tourist trap. And a place to be for snobbish fake people. And offcrouse this kind of places are very overpriced. Very typical.

Wow! Absolutely fantastic! A friend highly recommended this place and she was 100% onto it. Wonderful to be able to eat really healthy food that tastes so good. Very generous portions. Lovely space. We just happened to be there when they had some good musicians there to entertain diners. Really worthwhile.

Decent breakfast and cafe food. There are quite a bit of options if looking for a sandwich so doing brunch here is a great idea! The coffee is nice and aromatic. The decor is cool with the whole wooden spoon concept that also ties in with the quintessential Bali teak spoon souvenir! We had a bagel sandwich and a regular sandwich and both were good! There are many fresh baked items on display that you can grab as well. The pricing is a little bit on the higher side. Personally we felt that the pricing plus have been a little lower to match the quality of the food. All in all, a good place to get some breakfast, brunch or coffee!

We visited Monsieur Spoon in Ubud and really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and lovely interior, especially the wall decorated with wooden spoons. The drinks were fresh and tasty, perfect for a mid-day break. However, the apple cinnamon cake was a bit disappointing. It looked good, but it wasn’t sweet at all, so it mostly tasted like plain apple and cinnamon powder. Still, it’s a nice spot to sit and relax, especially if you’re looking for a quiet place with a cozy vibe.

The restaurant itself is very nice, with a nice outdoor seating area. We were disappointed in the quality of food. I got a healthy smoothie bowl that was not to the same standard of the quality shown in the menu, as it was very runny (like a soup). They were also unfortunately out of coconut flakes. My partner’s quiche was also not up to standard with the price. However, the servers were very nice.

Hidden gem that doesn't look like much from outside but perfect for early breakfast as it opens from 7am. My hot chocolate was hot and strong while I had an unusual beef pastry with lightly spiced beef. Should be more popular. Shame to discover it on my last day.

It was the worst chocolate I've ever had in my life. It was falling apart, tasted different, and was very dry. In other words, it was exactly how it shouldn't be. Normally, their desserts are good, but this time I wasn't satisfied with either the drink or the dessert. If you heat up an old dessert, it becomes so burnt and dry that it's just right. The waiter offered to bring a new one, but he also asked for an extra 15 minutes for the dessert I had been waiting for for half an hour.

The burger was really messy to eat but packed with flavor—no complaints on the taste front. The pistachio cake, though, was a letdown—looked the part but lacked that real pistachio punch, just color with no soul. Cheesecake and tart were decent, nothing mind-blowing. But the cheese &almond croissant and iced coffee? Straight 10/10. Flaky, rich, and that coffee hit just right. Would roll back for those alone.

It looks small from the outside, but the interior is quite spacious and has an upstairs. The coffee is good. We tried the avocado shine, skillet shakshuka, Ubud scramble and coconut chia pudding. It is a nice place to go for breakfast.

My husband and I went to the resort to have dinner and take pictures in this beautiful location with koi fish swimming in the pond. The service was great the photographer John took his time and made sure that we were satisfied and after taking our photos we had a small bite. Well worth it, I recommend.

Luxury stay in Ubud, away from the chaos. Staff could have not done anything more to make our stay more comfortable or relaxing. Were fantastic help when unwell (at no fault to the hotel). Highly recommend the two bedroom pool villa for best holiday experience. Thank you all, would love to return

A few weeks ago, my family and I stayed at the Kamandalu Hotel in Ubud, a stunning location that perfectly blends luxury, wellness, and nature. The staff were incredibly helpful and made our holiday truly memorable. Raka, our personal guide, took us to explore the rice fields and coffee plantations and guided us through a purification ceremony. It was an unforgettable experience.

We stayed 6 nights in the Presidential Villa and absolutely loved it! The service was absolutely amazing everyone was friendly and always happy to help and accommodate any of our requests The place itself is beautiful and really peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The food was also really good (especially the nasi goreng). Only tiny thing we noticed was that the power outlets could be a bit closer to the beds, but that’s just a small detail. Overall, we had an awesome stay and would totally come back.

If you're in Ubud, you absolutely gotta add the koi pond fish activity at @kamandalu to your bucket list! It's such a serene experience - you take a boat ride surrounded by these gorgeous koi fish, and feeding them is the best part. The whole setting is just so peaceful and perfect for capturing some amazing photos. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Stayed two nights in Kamandalu. The place itself is perfect for those who’d like to escape the chaos and busy streets. Beautiful hotel with a lot of greenery around. We had booked a garden villa. While the room was very nice, I found it a bit too dark for my liking. As rooms are kind of their own bungalows, not much day light is coming in. Upstairs we had like an open bed where you could lay during the day and enjoy the view, however the whole bed was covered in bird poop by the time we wanted to lay ( not very practical set up in my opinion ) Breakfast was amazing with so many options and coffees, juices, fruits. Egg menu was mind blowing and buffet had many different things for anyone’s tastes. Staff are friendly and nice but sometimes I felt them being a bit pushy with selling a service, especially when it came to spa. I know that spa is great there but so are the prices which I found quite high. When we just checked in after 3pm on a rainy afternoon, we just couldn’t wait to finally rest in but at the reception they told us that they need more time to prepare the room and would like to give us a 10 min massage ( at the lobby btw ) I wanted to just be in the room after such a long travel and not sit to listen how tense I am and that I need to go and get a full massage…this felt a bit awkward. After that, the room was still not ready so we thought okay let’s get some lunch there. After lunch nobody notified us if the room is ready or not so we had to go and investigate ourselves. There are not many activities happening other than that. Infinity pool looked a little bit neglected also. They advertise a lot both pools via booking and socials but I was quite disappointed to see how they look…. Location wise you always either need to have a driver or drive yourself as you’re quite far from the city centre. There are several time slots where they bring you to the centre via shuttle bus but if you want to go at the time that suits you best, of course you need to pay extra ;) Overall it was a nice stay if we don’t go into details but I wouldn’t be back again.

We reserved the koi fish experience. We enjoyed feeding and interacting with the fish. The photos also came out nice. The only thing we did not like was the food/snacks afterwards. None of it tasted “5 star”. Overall experience was nice.

Beautiful estate. Serene and private. Something very special about the aura at this Como property. We stayed for a week. Restorative. Had the best massages. Rooms were a little dated (compared to other luxury hotels) during our visit - but not an issue for us. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

You can feel that there’s a shared intention behind how they show up. We just left after four days at Como Shambala, had the most magical time on our honeymoon. The staff was incredible, one of the highlights was we had a complimentary photo shoot , a gift from the hotel. Our photographer named Yudha Gung, who made our whole experience so fun, taking the most gorgeous shots of us down at the natural pools. He was so sweet and we will never forget him! thank you everyone at Como , it was hard for us to leave!

Visiting Como Shambala is an unforgettable experience of a lifetime where space for introspection, poetry and wellness meet Indonesian heritage. The spa and the beautiful shop cater for aromatic self care, Indonesian resort fashion, talk international linen style plus heritage print. Aromatic luxury natural body care products that leave an imprint in your memory of soulful times spent. Outdoor activities, private driver tours and cultural entertainment are provided. The estate has a hearty two hour walk path going up and down the hill for a really good workout in an epic jungle and river landscape. The estate holds a sacred jungle temple where Balinese come to hold their prayers and small ceremonies. The water flowing through it is holy and nurtures the jungle pools.

My partner and I came for a massage during our trip (stayed elsewhere closer to Ubud) and we were blown away by the service and comfort and nature of COMO Shambhala. Make sure you check out the natural pool which overlooks the river. The food at Glow was great as well. Top tier experience

We enjoyed the beautiful views and a delicious meal. We ordered a margherita pizza to share with a glass of white wine and a soda. The atmosphere is very pleasant and allows you to relax with the views.

We had a great iced coffee with an amazing view here. The lovely cafe cat made everything perfect for us.

Nice place to see the sunset over the rice fields. There are regular tables or you can sit on the table on the floor. I did not eat there though, only drank some tea and juice while enjoying the sunset. You can reach it only by a scooter or by foot - the road is very narrow.

I am happy to find this calm place in the middle of Ubud's traffic jam. Had to walk around 15 mins from the main street, but the view was nice! Food was just okay however Vegan & gluten free option available. ✨️Didn't manage to come on sunset, yet the night ambiance was very quite & serene. Saw beautiful fireflies on the dark rice field 🤎 Definitely recommended!

I got a chai Tea, which was a bit too much milk for me, but the view and the seating area was very lovely, i chilled there for a while and read my book 🌟

So the food was really worth it The salad was just ok though nothing special Surrounded by green patches (Note it is not rice field but tall weeds) How to get there: You cannot get there by car. The tables had lots of small ants on there when we sat down. And we had 1 ant climbing in the food. Servers can be more attentive and less chatting. The servers were louder than the customers when we were there.

This is hands down the best acai we ever had!! The flavour of the acai itself is just so good, and the toppings are super generous and fresh, we tried 4 different açais and couldn’t get enough of them, you also have very big choice of toppings. We highly recommend this place and would go back to Ubud only for it!

Have been to Açai Queen multiple times in bith locations in Ubud and I love it so much. The food itself, the presentation, the place, the staff - everything is perfect. And you get coconut crunch as a snack for every order. This time I even got a small coconut ball that was covered in chocolate. Delicious! Would always come back :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m absolutely addicted to Acai Queen! The fruits are always so fresh, and I love their caramel toffee bits and signature granola — such a perfect combination. The complimentary coconut flakes are a lovely touch, and if you leave a review, you even get a chocolate coconut ball (so yummy!). The service is consistently amazing — the ladies are attentive, polite, and always welcoming. I’m a regular customer, and every bowl truly makes my day. Thank you, Acai Queen! 💜🍓🥥

I don’t understand why this is highly rated, the acai smoothie base is nice - but the quantity and the amount of toppings you get js just not enough and doesn’t justify the price at all compared to other places in Bali. They had used quite a bit of sugar on coconut shavings, ruining the authentic coconut flavour - and the peanuts in the peanut butter were over roasted. I personally did not enjoy the entire experience. No doubt the bowl looks aesthetic but the taste doesn’t make the mark.

The acai doesnt taste the best. Not sure why this place is extremely hyped but the amount you pay (also tax and service charge on top of the already expensive prices) doesnt worth what you eat... This place is just good to post cute instagram photos with your fruit bowl sold as acai bowl

Acacia Queen in Ubud is just truly beautiful! From the visual scene, the atmosphere, the beautiful staff and the incredible food. I am so glad I stop in here along my travels. Who wouldn't want to be swinging their way into breakfast 🌸🥰

Highlight of our Ubud trip so far! Best food so far! Came to ubud for a week long stay for our first time in Bali, was our BEST meal we had the whole trip. It’s such a cute place with a nice interior design. You feel right at home. The summer rolls and tahini sauce were delicious. I had a delicious turmeric and papaya smoothie. I’ll be back to try the other dishes.

Muse Cafe is a hidden gem indeed. The restaurant is located just a few minutes out of the busy city center of Ubud, making it less noisy and you won’t have to worry about breathing in car exhaust while you eat your breaky which is a huge plus. It is a second story, open air restaurant with beautiful views overlooking lovely palm trees. Plenty of sun all day long. They play calming instrumental music and the entire atmosphere of those place is very calming and serene. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend the quinoa porridge with fresh dragonfruit, I had it multiple mornings during my stay in Ubud!

Everything in the menu is so good! Stayed in the villa next door and this was my breakfast spot everyday. Service was fast and staff was very friendly as usual like everyone in Bali.

Beautiful Setting, but Terrible Sleep and Outdated Property We stayed at the Hanging Gardens of Bali for three nights, and unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations. On two out of the three mornings, our sleep was completely ruined by a loud water pump sound that started around 5:40 AM. After the first incident, I personally informed the reception and requested that it not happen again in our room. Despite that, it repeated the very next morning. What made it worse was the way the staff handled it — the receptionist initially tried to pass it off as an “insect sound,” even though she herself had earlier confirmed it was the water pump. For a resort that promotes itself as a tranquil jungle retreat, being woken up by such noise at dawn is simply unacceptable. The food was another major disappointment. Both the à la carte breakfast and the dine-in restaurant meals were extremely poor in taste and quality — a far cry from what one would expect at a property of this reputation and pricing. The breakfast not being a buffet only added to the sense of limitation and underwhelming service. To be fair, the one truly positive aspect of our stay was the surreal experience of the outdoor lift and the beautiful feeling of being surrounded by the lush jungle — that part genuinely lived up to the resort’s promise. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. The property clearly feels old and outdated, lacking the refinement, upkeep, and attention to detail expected from a luxury resort. Overall, while the setting is undeniably stunning, the management urgently needs to address the noise problem, elevate the food standards, and train the staff to handle guest feedback more honestly and professionally. Until then, it’s hard to recommend this property for anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay.

I stayed at the Hanging Gardens of Bali in April 2025 and without a doubt, it delivered the finest location and hospitality I've ever experienced. Its located deep in nature with fresh mountain air and lush surroundings, it felt like a serene escape rather than a typical tourist spot, i found it was never overcrowded, even during peak season. Every villa and room is uniquely personalized and tailored to your preferences on. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, from the concierge to the housekeeping team. I genuinely amazed by the little touches they made. For example, cleaners not only tidied electrical cables but also polished my sunglasses and left a fresh microfibre cloth for ongoing use. This level of detail made the stay feel truly bespoke. The food and drinks were amazing, it all tasted fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared daily for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Highlights included vibrant tropical fruits, authentic Balinese spices, and inventive fusion dishes. One evening, we were treated to a traditional Balinese dance performance under the stars with the full moon out, with the crickets chirping. The swimming pools were pristine, with infinity-edge designs which offered amazing views, and the overall facilities were well-maintained. I highly recommend getting in one of their signature massages at the on-site spa, the relaxation was sublime. This hidden hotel definitely exceeded expectations and i will hopefully be returning.

We just had part of our honeymoon at the Hanging Gardens. I cannot express enough how beautiful the hotel is and how comfortable our stay was. The staff is extremely polite and friendly, they all provided assistance and were extremely helpful throughout, they even upgraded us for one night!:) The hotel staff made a lovely tour of the hotel (which helped alot) , left a sweet note, a gift and cake! My husband and I both enjoyed the stay tremendously, and will be recommending the hotel to everyone we know. Thanks again!!!!😊

I had the most wonderful stay! Everything was beyond amazing. from the food and cleanliness to the peaceful atmosphere. The yoga sessions and spa were truly exceptional, and that breathtaking view made the whole experience unforgettable. It was fantastic!!! The room was beautiful, the food, the service. The view, the experience! The jungle there is beautiful and we saw lots of wildlife. Service was wow with WhatsApp service we got all that we asked for in 5 sec. We even saw monkeys!!! We loved the breakfast. And its comfortable stay with a baby as well. Its very expensive in compare to Bali, but the place is wow. So you know what to expect. We got a room near the restaurant and if you are with kids I think that its the best choice.

We had one of the best experiences of our trip in this corner of Ubud. The food is truly a work of culinary art, and I would personally rate their Mie Goreng as one of the very best in all of Bali—an absolute must-try. Beyond the incredible cuisine, what made our visit exceptional was the staff. They were extra courteous, professionally trained, and made us feel so welcome. They have truly perfected the art of hospitality and helped make our stay one of our most amazing memories. Highly recommended! A five-star recommendation without hesitation.

The fantastic reviews were what attracted us to this hotel as our base for our tour of the Ubud are and we had high hopes.There is much to recommend about the Udaya and we had a pleasant stay, but for us it was a bit of a mixed bag. Certainty the staff couldn't do more for you and they were hugely attentive at all times. Thanks to them all. In general, the food and drinks menu, while not extensive, were fine too - certainty we tried out the cocktail menu with great enthusiasm. Other positives were the quiet vibe and the shuttle into town. However, some areas perhaps didn't quite live up to expectations. This included the steep hillside location, the limited communal pool area, and the shaded aspect of our villa which meant we couldn't use the garden area or a very cold unheated pool. Overall, perhaps not the best choice for us, but doesn't meant it wont be for others :)

After a 3 nights stay at the Udaya we were very sad to leave! The staff were exceptional, very warm and welcoming. We were surprised with a nice room set up of flower petals and a mirror design as we were celebrating our anniversary. There even was an included happy anniversary dessert which was delicious! The staff were extremely diligent with accommodating our allergies while we ate at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the breakfast menu! And the afternoon tea was a nice touch. The Udaya has plenty to do and I really enjoyed the morning yoga sessions. We took the shuttle a few times into Ubud centre which was convenient and reliable. We stayed in the Kemuning villa and it was gorgeous! The staff were easy to contact and attended to any request in a matter of minutes. The hotel itself is beautiful, the incorporation of nature throughout the grounds was breathtaking. We even loved the slippers provided in the room! You won’t regret staying here.

This stay was truly amazing. The staff are very polite, helpful and kind, if we had any issues they were solved immediately. They also offer a shuttle bus to the city centre which is very convenient. The views from this place are magnificent and the breakfast is really good with a big selection of food as well as freshly made juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc.

It’s a small but beautiful resort. The hours for the gym and pool are not ideal. The pain points for us were the open shower (no doors) which was hard to navigate with a child in the room, as well as the loud music in the restaurant past 9pm which we could hear in our bedroom. The staff is limited in the help they provide, even after multiple requests to lower the music volume. While good for couples, I would not recommend this for families with small children.

This was literally a dream honeymoon experience. The staff and service couldn’t have been better, they were all extremely kind and considerate and knew my husband and I and all our preferences by the end of the week. We booked the Royal Duplex Pool Villa - Romantic Package, and wow the suite was amazing. We enjoyed the private pool and hammock a lot, they decorated our bed with roses on our first night, gave us a private in room celebration of flowers in our tub, served us floating breakfast in the pool, and even a private candlelight dinner for 2. The private romantic dinner was soo amazing!! Literally you need to book all the services here, even the couples spa packages were so good we came back a second time. They will hire private drivers for you for the entire day to drive you all around the island, have shuttles to take you into town, put on little shows at dinner sometimes and have themed nights. I’ve never stayed in a resort before so didn’t know what to expect, but the convenience and experience was literally a dream come true for our honeymoon! It was straight out of a fairytale. We would lay on our hammocks and watch the birds fly, beautiful views of nature, or even a rolling storm pass through. We will never forget this stay, thank you so much to all the staff at The Udaya for making this possible. We also felt like we got to know the unique Balinese culture through staying here.

Amazing staff, listia (guest relations), Davis and Putuyoda are some standouts- they really are brilliant amazing people. Beyond that the hotel itself is beautiful, with gorgeous architecture and landscaping along side great activities such as morning yoga. To top it off the breakfast is also fabulous.

Checked in during the night so waking up to the breathtaking jungle scenery felt like living inside a postcard!! The villas are pure luxury, with beautiful balinese design and complete privacy, making it the perfect escape. Breakfast was delicious each morning, especially with those incredible views over the valley. The staff are simply wonderful — warm, thoughtful, and always genuine in their care. We also had an airport transfer and a day trip organized by the hotel, and we totally recommend it. Many thanks to Made, our friendly and knowledgeable driver. The free Ubud shuttle is super convenient, and the gym is great and well equipped for a resort. This place completely derailed my Ubud plans. I spent only the minimum amount of time exploring to soothe my tourist/traveler conscience and otherwise spent the entire time I was in Ubud relaxing at the Viceroy. What a fantastic experience and I couldn't recommend it any more highly. The *food*, the service, the artwork, the atmosphere...etc etc. I felt deeply welcomed, pampered and incredibly well taken care of the entire time I was there. So glad I decided to give an independent resort a chance, rather than my usual sprawling 5 star preference. If you are even contemplating staying here, take my advice and do it. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Our stay at Viceroy Bali was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect! From the breathtaking view and beautiful villa to the warm and thoughtful service. We were really sad to leave Viceroy. The villa was stunning, and the heated pool with the perfect jungle view was honestly the highlight of our trip. Breakfast was incredible every morning with so many a la carte options. We also loved dining at Cascades and Apéritif, two very different experiences, but both absolutely fantastic in their own way. Everything was over the top! Cleanliness, the terrace Vila pool, the amazing restaurants and friendly staff! It was super clean and we never had any issues with insects or lizards! The food was brilliant and never had stomach problems! Will definitely come back and enjoy the peace and tranquility!

Wow—Como Uma Ubud, where do I even begin? The staff were the true definition of hospitality: friendly, gracious, unbelievably thoughtful, and always going above and beyond. From carrying our bags to setting up our room multiple times a day with such care, everything was done to absolute perfection. The spa was out of this world, and the food was unforgettable. The Italian restaurant on-site was spectacular, and even the poolside dining was handled with such attention to detail—our food was beautifully wrapped to keep it fresh and bug-free. The room itself was spotless, the bed was incredibly cozy, and every comfort was thoughtfully provided. We even did laundry at the hotel, which came back perfectly folded and pristine. The experiences offered were also exceptional—the healer excursion was something we’ll remember for a lifetime. And I must give special thanks to Marty, a staff member whose kindness and attentiveness truly left a lasting impression. This hotel is a 10/10 in every way. We dined at other luxury hotels in the area, and Como Uma Ubud was number one by a landslide. It exceeded every expectation, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. If you’re coming to Ubud, this is the place to stay.

We have just spent a week at this lovely resort. The staff have been wonderful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The room was super clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Food was very good, whether at breakfast or the on-site restaurants for lunch and dinner. It was a lovely quiet retreat for getting away from our busy lives. A truly wonderful, unforgettable, stay. Unable to mention all the staff personally, but a special Thank You to Murtini and Made at breakfast, Lila at the Bar, Yakin the Porter (who could carry a 25kg case on one shoulder and another with his free hand), Anom the Tour Guide (we recommend his morning walk, and half-day guided tour), and our lovely cleaners Joni and Astri.

My stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy, with every detail designed for complete comfort. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive always ready to help and make you feel cared for at every step. The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the facilities are excellent: pool, spa, fitness center everything is top-notch. The location is also great, close to major attractions and transport links. I left feeling completely satisfied and can confidently recommend this hotel to anyone who values quality, comfort, and attention to detail.

I have just returned from a five night stay in Como Uma and have already looked for dates to return next year. Based on the reviews I expected it to be good but even then it far exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a space to recharge and rejuvenate and this was exactly what I got. The private pool and semi-outdoor shower with the signature Como Shambala toiletries were just the touches of luxury I needed. But I also enjoyed the shared experiences - reading and working in the poolside bar with a cocktail, the most amazing breakfasts that I almost passed up as I don’t normally eat breakfast, and dinner at Kemiri with Balinese dancers. The architecture and environs were truly reminiscent of a traditional Balinese village which made me feel more connected to the country and the culture as did the Hindu offerings, canang sari, with incense burning outside my room every morning. But, above and beyond all of that, the aspect that will bring me back was the genuine kindness and exceptional customer service offered throughout my stay, from beginning to end. There were no less than 8 staff waving me goodbye as I drove off in my Como provided vehicle to the airport. A truly exceptional experience and the only place I will ever stay in Ubud.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Como Uma in Bali, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly thoughtful and caring, catering to all our needs throughout our stay. Every team member, from the front desk to the pool, the restaurant, and even the cleaning staff, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. I felt truly taken care of, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Wayan at the front desk, as well as the amazing restaurant staff (Mr. Made). I also want to highlight our tour guide, Eva, who was extremely knowledgeable and showed us some of the most beautiful and authentic parts of Bali. He took us to stunning waterfalls, majestic temples, and local villages, and even guided us through coffee plantations and a volcano in the north. His insights made our trip unforgettable! I loved every moment at Como Uma and can’t wait to return. When I go back to Bali, I will 100% choose to stay at Como Uma again. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for a week of decompressing and relaxing, I had the best time here. Ubud itself is incredible with a ton of art museums, galleries, walks, and amazing restaurants. Como Uma had a gorgeous property in a lovely wild-feeling green space. The staff were so wonderful and helpful, accessible by WhatsApp for convenient service. The free yoga was an amazing addition, with the best instructor, Budi, and unbeatable location in the yoga pavilion. And to top it all off, the breakfast was brilliant.

I came to Como Uma Ubud just for a massage at the spa and also for a martial arts lesson (Indonesian fighting style called pencak silat) which you can book through their whatsapp I didn’t stay at the hotel as a guest but feel that the atmosphere, general service at the spa and the staff were very helpful. I would come back and stay on a special occasion I also trust the level of service here, my bag was broken and my purse accidentally fell out. A construction worker who was on the property gave my purse in and the hotel contacted me (I didn’t even realise). Everything was intact The Como Uma Ubud location is more central in the middle of town, if you are looking for more quiet and to feel like you are in a jungle I would suggest Como Shambhala Estate. The restaurant at the Shambhala estate was also one of the best I have tried in Bali

The view is fantastic. Drinks were good. Food is mediocre at best, if considering the price then then food is not worth it at all. Ordered 5 starters. Shrimp salad was soggy, the shrimp looks old, dark and taste mushy. All the fry stuff does not taste crisp at all, seems like it’s been reheated in a microwave. Tuna steak is very bland. Maybe because we came here pretty late and the kitchen is about to close so the food quality goes down. But yeah… come here for views and drinks maybe, avoid the food.

Love love the view of this place. A bit awkward that it's right by the pool area, so while you're having a nice dinner there are guests lounging around the pool side. However other than that, food was really delicious, staff were really lovely. Ambient can be nice and quiet (but again sometimes you have other guests all standing nearby as it can be a meetup group point) Wish it wasn't located right by the hotel pool. But other than that at least you get to see the view of the rice fields. Worth a visit!!

If you want to go for a delicious meal and a great breakfast, I definitely recommend going here. The service is excellent, friendly to children, and the view is so beautiful. They also have evening programs with live music.

Great open air restaurant with beautiful rice paddy views. Food was very interesting and uniformly good across all diners. Fish Two Ways was a stand out and the tenderloin was expertly done. Quality restaurant. Highly recommended.

Such a great time to spend time here! The wine on promotion was so nice and the most of them, view is fantastic! I ordered the honey port steak and the meat was a bit tough but taste of mashed potato and sauce was fine so I can finish all dish clean! Definitely want to come back!

Our waiter Dewah was great. Food was lovely. He made our favourite cocktail for us (not listed on the menu - a mean “Long Island Iced Tea”). The view of the fields were beautiful to look at between dishes. Thank you for having us!

We went there for coffee but had their main course too, they also have few Indian beverages and food which was too good 😊 I love the food a bit expensive, their masala chai and samosa were best. 💜 Their service is quick and good I liked the ambiance of the place, this place is peaceful ☺️

The staff are so nice. The food is delicious. I tried their daily special and I was blown away. Didn’t expect this level of gastronomy in a touristic destined warung and for really affordable price. Delicious tuna! See photo. In the wifi is really good even through thunderstorms and rain.

Dropped by for lunch as I was attracted to see that they had a special chicken morrocan salad for the day, and it was a good decision because the salad was super fresh and tasted so good, and also ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls with tofus and were so delicious. It overlooks the art market and the location is great to stop by before or after visiting the market.

Being that this place was just down the street from our hotel, we literally ate here every morning for breakfast. The staff was always super nice, and remembered our faces. The service could be super slow at times, but we would come here at the beginning of the day to plan out our daily activities to pass the time. Their selection of food was great, they take credit cards (and don’t charge a percentage), everything we ate was great. My fave was the veggie Balinese breakfast (both fried rice or fried noodles options). their hash browns are more like potato pancakes, sometimes too greasy, but very yummy. It’s a great place to eat if you like a variety of options for a great price, and to people watch.

After exploring the ubud art market we made our way to tutmak warung to have a bintang and chicken burger. The black bun was very nice and very fresh.

Pretty laid back. Normal prices for this area. Menu has all the items which are main stream around here. My recommendation to the staff is to read recipes which are in relation to the menu. The taste will improve.

The laid back and chilled ambience is nice. The food was really delicious. We got pad thai and green vegetables stir fry with shrimps. Staff and service was also nice, only the food prep took quite long :)

The Seeds of Life is absolutely fantastic, hands down my favorite spot in Ubud! They offer so many healthy dishes, and it was amazing to see such a wide range of gluten-free options for my friend, which can be hard to find in Bali. Everything we tried was super tasty, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The service was also wonderful very kind, attentive, and fast. We loved it so much that we ended up going back a second time during our stay! If you’re in Ubud and looking for healthy, delicious food with great vibes, this place is a must-visit.

10/10 dining experience!! The food is amazing. Menu choices are epic and varied. There is definately something for everyone here from medicinal tonics to coffee. The staff are super friendly and the vibe is relaxed, calm and clean.

Went here for a brunch and could not make a better choice. The food was amazing, the view was breathtaking and the whole atmosphere gave this magical experience. We are definitely coming here again…..staff was very friendly and helpful

Really authentic Balinese cuisine despite the setup appears quite touristy. I had the beef curry soup and it was amazing! Beef was soft & tender but really spicy! There’s a lovely garden and souvenir stores attached to the restaurant and it offers various photo shoot scenery for visitors. Quite reasonably priced (half of probably what you pay around Ubud centre) nevertheless you have to arrange transport there as it’s some distance from Ubud centre. You have to arrange grab bike going there and it’s not walking distance.

Firstly, the surrounding garden that was built is beautiful. Lots of flowers and aesthetic spots for photos. Looks magical and reminds me of Alice in wonderland with the constant mist and waterfalls. The food was decent, we ordered a few things, which were all done to a good standard. The grilled fish, the chicken skewers, and the carbonara were all good. The reason for the three star rating was the communication problems in the restaurant and the availability of the menu items. Many items on their menu were not available, including their signature duck/chicken, corn fritters, spring rolls, and a few others, which was very disappointing. Additionally, there were communication problems with the staff which resulted in our food order not arriving and the wrong items being served. I would recommend this place for the beautiful photo but not the food itself. The seating is outdoors so bring bug spray!

Wedja is more than just a place to eat; it's a destination. The moment you step in, you feel instantly transported into a fairytale world—the atmosphere, decor, and lighting are truly magical and captivating. Beyond the stunning setting, the food quality is amazing. I tried the Nasi Goreng and the Aglio Olio, and both were perfectly flavored, satisfying, and rich with seasoning. The main dishes, like the Dory and Chicken, were equally delicious and well-seasoned. One detail that makes their service outstanding is their attention to guest comfort. I am very susceptible to mosquito bites (I love wearing black), but I asked about bug spray. They quickly confirmed they provide mosquito lotion! The staff was fast and attentive, demonstrating truly great service and responsiveness. Overall, Wedja offers a rare combination: a charming, unforgettable atmosphere, amazing food, and genuinely thoughtful service. Highly recommended for a magical dining experience!

Really nice place with a relaxing atmosphere. It can be a bit noisy due to the sound of crickets — not sure if it's real or from speakers — but the natural vibes and the sound of a waterfall make it feel very refreshing. As for the food, I'd recommend skipping the pasta (a bit average) and going for something like the Parmigiana or the duck — both were really tasty!

A bit overrated. The food was good, but far from exceptional. Several meals were not available. The seafood nasi goreng was quite dry, and we ordered a “less spicy” cucumber salad that came very spicy anyway. The fried tempeh was excellent though, and portions in general were very generous. Drinks were also fine but average. The beauty juice lacked flavor, and the mocktail tasted more like industrial syrup rather than the “passion fruit” it was advertised with. The place itself is really beautiful, great atmosphere, thoughtful design, and separated smoking / non-smoking areas. You can even walk around and explore photo spots, they clearly put effort into the aesthetic. To sum up: nice place for the vibe and ambiance. Food and drinks are good, but not worth going out of your way for.

Great Local Food with a Beautiful Setting, but… the Chili Sauce Charge?! We enjoyed the local food here surrounded by a lovely garden and padi field — truly a scenic and peaceful spot. We ordered the chicken fried rice and beef fried noodles. Both dishes came in generous portions and were quite tasty. However, I was surprised that when I asked for a little more chili sauce, they said it would cost Rp10,000. It felt a bit unreasonable, especially since it wasn’t much to begin with. The overall price of the meal was fair, but charging extra for a small amount of chili sauce took away a bit from the experience.

I went to this restaurant three times during my stay, right next to Noree Villa, and every single meal was absolutely incredible 🥹🥹 From the flavors of the dishes to the presentation, everything was perfect. The staff are genuinely kind, warm, and attentive, which makes the experience even more special. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making you feel right at home while enjoying amazing food. Honestly, without a doubt, this is the best restaurant in Ubud. I can’t recommend it enough!

I dunno but when I'm feeling sick, ordering their chicken bakmie can sooth my nasal blocking. It's like medicine for me. Lol. I like them warm, slowly slurp the chewy noodle and tasty ayam kampung. After that, I will drink lots of warm water thorough the day. Now I take a snap on my favorite noodle when I'm feeling well. Their juicy pork ribs are the best:)

Found this resto after 3 x ordered on grabfood. So, yesterday i paid a visit to omiiku. I knocked the coffee corner door but its locked, then a lady came out and pointed that the restaurant is in the back. Haha got confused by the signage. The resturant, turns out so spacious and has relaxed vibe. Ordered fresh coconut water and chicken soup. The taste never fails me. Next time, ill try their shrimp dumplings.

The only sandwich they have. its a lifesaver since my kids don't eat asian food. it Served with signature honey mustard sauce that is surprisingly good. sorry I didnt have chance to take pic of the sidedish ube chips, they are completely gone in seconds.

Omiiku never ceased to amazed me with their comfort food and drink. I tried this new Unique homemade drink, fresh herb flavor. Made with thyme leaves, lime, honey so it's like a tonic, it's good for easing cold and flu. I mixed with soda water and it turned into a low-key tasty mocktail. Very satisfying and freshh. Grab 2 more for home.

We were here yesterday for dinner. We were walking around trying to find a place that accepts card payments and stumble upon this place. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. We had the shrimp gyoza, which were absolutely amazing! Both our dishes with different fresh made noodles were aswel of very good quality. Prices are very reasonable. I came here earlier this year with my partner because of this place’s fabulous service and drinks. I then came again and brought my friends. The staff are friendly and warm. The basil and ginger margaritas is absolutely phenomenal. We love this place and would recommend for anyone for looking for chill drinks and a lovely atmosphere.

We enjoyed our daily breakfast at Mingle. It’s a cafe that usually opens around 8. Their banana bread is very nice and filling.

Came here twice as we really enjoyed the food, both times i had the vegetable curry and my partner had the nasi goreng and a beef burger. The food is fairly priced and was really good, however on our second visit i ordered a ice cream float (coke & scoop of vanilla ice cream on top) however i was handed a half melted scoop of ice cream and just a can of coke- which defeats the whole purpose of being a “float”. Also just before paying our bill i noticed quite a large mouse running around the seating area eating all the food on the floor that the many staff failed to clean up. There’s numerous members of staff all just sat around doing nothing while there’s food on the floor. Our first visit was much better than our second, and even though they saw the mouse they failed to apologise for this, offer any sort of compensation and acted like it was nothing. Such a shame as we wanted to come here again.

Amazing food and drinks! We got Nasi goreng, sweet rolls with banana, pina colada and passionfruit alcoholic drink. All of it tasted amazing and the prices were great.

Cute little spot to rest and people watch, with great food and delicious drinks! Sitting upstairs allows a great view of the street below, you can watch the cars and people go by all day. The homemade pesto pasta and creamy mushroom pasta were amazing (and generous in serving size!) and we had a really great iced cappuccino. We have also previously stopped in for happy hour, and really enjoyed the strawberry daiquiris. Absolutely will be coming back!

We did the private cookery class which started with a tour of the local market and restaurant garden to see the spices and vegetables we would be using in our cooking. After a delicious breakfast and coffee (with fantastic coffee art!) we set to work chopping and preparing a fabulous three course meal which we were able to enjoy in the peaceful garden of the restaurant. We learnt a lot about common ingredients and cooking methods used in Balinese cooking and prepared a feast. Our guide and chef were so friendly and nice and guided us through the preparation well. All the ingredients were so fresh and the whole thing was a lot of fun. We highly recommend this experience and we will leave with full stomachs and lots of inspiration for cooking when we return home. Don’t hesitate, give it a go!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Went to the morning market with our lovely guide, then came back to the hotel and cooked a 3 course lunch! The chef and the local guide were warm, friendly, helpful, and made our experience very enjoyable. Would recommend for all ages! Wonderful Balinese food, with wonderful Balinese people :)

We did the private cooking class experience Ayuk and Sumitri. It was great! We started out at the market where we learned about all the local fruits and vegetables. Then we came back, relaxed with coffee and fruits, and then began our cooking class. We prepared three delicious courses and had an overall wonderful experience. They were also able to easily accommodate me being gluten free which was appreciated.

We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant and bar, as it was a close walk from our hotel. They were offering happy hour - buy two cocktails, get the third free. This is what initially brought us in. However, the friendly staff- especially our server, Arik made us feel right at home and we decided to stay for dinner! Dinner was outstanding and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this place for food and drinks! Reasonable priced and the view cannot be beat!!

Oh my! The matchacolada is the dreamiest cocktail ever. Unsure how they do what they do but it was a party in my mouth. We came for pre dinner cocktails and loved the view out over the property and beyond. A stunning building full of charm and well managed. It’s got it all from fragrances in the bathrooms, to climate controlled wine cellar, home vegetables for cooking classes and farm to table. Awesome friendly staff. Very talented. We loved our cocktails and will recommend to anyone. If we didn’t run out of time we would be back for dinner.

We really enjoyed our private cooking class with Arik and Putnam… we had an opportunity to visit the morning market and then cook a 3-course meal in an open air kitchen. We enjoyed our lunch in the organic garden. Perfect day!

A fairly average dining experience with nothing particularly noteworthy. The breakfast was priced similarly to what I’d pay in my home country, which felt high for the area. The passion fruit tea was refreshing and enjoyable, but the big breakfast was underwhelming—undercooked eggs (the whites were runny and yolk barely warm) and overly firm mushrooms left much to be desired. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a quiet, cozy feel, hanging plants, and soft music. Street noise was minimal, making it a comfortable place to sit. Service was mixed—one waiter greeted me with a smile and was very kind, as was the waitress who took my order. However, the staff member who handled my payment was disengaged, offering no smile, thank you, or farewell. Given that most meals with a drink cost around 100k, I expected better food, larger portions, or more attentive service. Unfortunately, nothing stood out to justify the price. It was fine, but not a place I’d recommend or revisit. If asked, I’d say, “It’s okay, but there are far better and more affordable restaurants to try in Ubud.” FYI the images of the menu on here are not all in date. Came here 2 nights out of the 4 I stayed in Bali. The food is pretty solid. Had the chicken sushi roll- this was my least favorite but still good, the beef salsa omurice was outstanding, the sauce was so good, it’s a filling dish, also had the Tom yum soup - I really enjoyed it. If you like spicy and seafood this is the one. For dessert had the crème brûlée, really good. If you’re nearby I recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

This was recommended at one of the places to have coffee and a light meal near where we are staying. This is our second visit here and I felt compelled to leave a review. Where to start is difficult, it's all so great. The location is excellent and easily accessible. It's very comfortable and nicely decorated. They offer a wide assortment of coffee, teas and drinks. The different coffees Ive tried have been excellent. The food has been beautifully presented and tastes as good as it looks. The service has been very welcoming, very quick and helpful. If your in the area I'd highly recommend coming here, you won't be disappointed!!!

I only wish we had discovered Vespa Café earlier in our holiday! It was just around the corner from where we were staying, yet we kept heading into town—completely unaware that such a gem was right on our doorstep. Vespa Café seems to be a favourite with locals and tourists alike, and it’s easy to see why. It gets quite busy in the evenings, which is a testament to its popularity. The atmosphere is wonderfully laid-back—perhaps a little too laid-back at times, as we noticed some diners lingering long after finishing their meals, which made it harder for others to get a table. That said, the staff were always attentive, friendly, and helpful, even during peak hours. The food was a highlight: delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. We ended up returning a few times during the final days of our trip just to try more from the menu—and each time we were glad we did. If I’m ever lucky enough to return to Bali, Vespa Café will be one of the first places I visit. A big thank you to the lovely team for the warm service and great food!

HOLY CRAP! What a ripper of a cafe. We stayed around the corner at Lorel Green Domain and went to Vespa everyday. Now, being an Aussie I know my way around a chicken burger. Unlike the burger, what I am about to reveal has no mayo on it… The. Best. Chicken. Burger. I. Have. Ever. Eaten. The crispy and moist chicken boob could not have been cooked any better. The salad was fresh and crisp. The homemade mayo was the perfect backdrop, working together with the cheese to bring all the internal elements of the burger together seamlessly. At one point I was teased with the perfect sweetness of some onion jam. And finally, this magnificent beauty was bookended by the perfect seeded bun. The structural integrity of the bun stood the test of the moist burger while being light and fluffy. An absolute display of wizardry and deserving of the highest accolades!! Thank you Vespa for bringing this burger to the people. #forevergrateful. ❤️🙏👌

I had dinner with baked penne and matcha latte was fine for that pasta and drink. Unfortunately the matcha inconsistency with another ingredient of milk so still have to stir it with straw to mixed it. Pretty take a long time the meal served on my table, please improve it. The cleanliness of toilet is good.

Very very yummy. Ratings should be higher. We ate here four or five times this month with my family, and everything everyone ordered was great. Lovely pizzas, delicious chicken burger, fries and baby potatoes are next level, and the salads are my favorite in town. The falafel one in particular is so good. Also recommend the pumpkin soup. Staff is so kind, and attentive. We are living close by and this is one of our regular spots 🙏

Super glad we stopped in. The iced latte was refreshing and the strawberry shake was delicious. We chose some basic comfort food of chicken satay (simple and delicious), and fried rice (hey sometimes you crave fried rice just like it would taste in the US). After just 5 minutes of watching the pet bunnies hop around the yard, our food was ready!

Maha Cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast, offering incredible value and a truly unique experience! I had the pancakes and the scrambled eggs with bacon and toast, and everything was delicious. While the portion of bacon was a bit small (just one rasher), the quality of the food more than made up for it, especially considering how affordable it was. The waiters were also so nice and attentive, which made the experience even better. One of the most delightful touches was the adorable rabbits hopping around the cafe! They were so cute and added a fun, relaxing vibe to the whole experience. It’s not every day you get to enjoy great food in such a charming and unique setting. Overall, Maha Cafe is an amazing place for breakfast—affordable, delicious, and memorable. If you’re looking for a great meal with a bit of extra charm and fantastic service, this is definitely the spot!

The pizza wasn't fresh. Unless I'm mistaken, it was frozen. It takes 35 to 45 minutes from ordering to serving. The pizza sauce was so sweet I thought it was tomato jam. I'm giving it 3 stars because the other Indonesian dishes were okay.

Need a calm relaxed little oasis to get off the hectic jl monkey rd- step in to Maha! It’s not 5*- if that’s what yr after then probz best to roll on. But if yr after a lush natural setting, literally just step off the street and out the back into “the secret garden”. Or stay out the front and watch it all unfold. We didn’t eat here. Just refreshed. So we can’t comment on the food. It looked good. Unbelievable how peaceful and cafe cool it is in the garden. Usual awesomeness from the beautiful staff 🤩

Maha Cafe Ubud is a delightful spot for breakfast with family! Located conveniently close to our hotel, we enjoyed a wonderful meal at a large table in the back, surrounded by adorable rabbits hopping around and saying hello. It was such a unique and charming touch! The cafe's fan provided a refreshing breeze, making the outdoor dining experience even more pleasant. The service was professional and attentive, ensuring a great start to our day. A notable highlight was the inclusion of coffee with many of the meals. As a group with some non-coffee drinkers, my partner ended up with three coffees, which turned out to be excellent! Maha Cafe offers all-day breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Payments can be made with either cash or card. Highly recommend for a lovely breakfast experience in Ubud!

Beautiful and relaxing garden out the back. There are rabbits that hop around your feet. The Bali tapas plate is amazing! Cheap too.

Absolutely the best chicken satay that we had in the whole Ubud! Perfect balance of taste and spiciness, the peanut sauce was amazing. We were here 4 times during 5 days in Ubud. Highly recommended as a great lunch near Monkey Forrest and also for a dinner (great, romantic garden)

Lovely dessert and drink combo! Tried their strawberry shortcake and tiramisu mille crepe — both were light, creamy, and not overly sweet. Paired perfectly with their iced chocolate and topped with whipped cream. The presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted as good as it looked. Great spot for a relaxing afternoon treat!

Great tasting cakes with generous portions. Tried their Mille Crepe and Strawberry Shortcake, both were delish! Soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness. Slices were generous, best to share. Good price for its quality and portion. I’d come back again for their other cakes. Recommended!

Delicious local food at affordable price as compared to other cafes in this vicinity! The interior is a bit worn-out but didn't affect the experience here as the food, service, price are all decent! I would say it is so underrated as people usually go to IG/XHS recomm ones like Fold and Pison etc (nothing against them). Hope to have more people show this cafe some support! :)

We got the tiramisu crepe, there was no tiramisu taste at all!!! just a bunch of poor quality cream. The cake piece didn’t even stand up right it all mushed down after the first bite. The cream did not look fresh at all. There’s also no toilet inside and had to use the public one outside. Very disappointed!

I have sweet tooth. However the cake from this place didn’t really satisfy my sugar craving. I tried several menu here: 1. The tiramisu crepes didn’t have any taste of tiramisu. 2. The donut was terrible — it was a bit dry. 3. Meringue - it’s ok 4. Matcha — not so bad. 5. Turmeric jamu — its was quite nice, I liked it. My friend tried matcha crepes, I didn’t really how did it taste tho. The place itself was not comfy at all. It was like an old store, everything was placed anywhere they could, the lighting and the paint made the place seemed sooo gloomy! The toilet was outside! And when I went there, they were under construction and it was raining, so just imagine 😌 The waitress were amazing, but the parking guy was questionable! There was another car behind ours, so we asked for his help. He said wait and he kept smiling watching tiktok on his phone! So yeah we waited for a minute in the drizzling night while he watched tiktok 😂 So overall, I see nothing special about this place.

I feel cheated and need to share it. I asked twice what was inside the almond croissant, and both times they told me it was filled with almond cream. Dear staff, can you see the almond cream in the photo? I'm not, not even with glasses. I should have left the croissant right after you gave it to me, since it already felt dry and old to the touch, but I thought I was unlucky to have had that, I simply asked for another one, but unfortunately the second one was the same too 😅 and to top it off: I paid 35,000 + 10%. Not only did you lie to me, but you also made me pay a lot of money for a product that ended up in the trash. Luckily, not all the business are like your, and there are plenty of honest people out there. I would have given 0 stars if I could. Never again.

This is a great early spot as there do not seem to be manu in Ubud (most open around 7am), we stopped here at 6am for coffee and a bite to eat, before heading out sites seeing. Did not disappoint with an abundance of pastries, and a great breakfast menu, coffee was also delicious!!

Simple bakery/cafe that focuses on the sale of baked goods - croissants, pain au chocolate, pies, cakes, etc. Most of which comes in a small or big portion, giving flexibility for customers' preferences. Prices are reasonable for such freshly baked goods. Aside from that, they do offer coffee/tea as part of their menu. Bakery is located on the first floor for takeaways and dining-in is available on the second floor. Would recommend this place to customers who want a quick bite before starting their day as it opens early.

This bakery feels like a fast-food spot, but for French bread. The croissant is tasty, though the baguette was a bit too hard for me. The place isn’t very cozy for a long stay, and parking is quite limited, which can be inconvenient.

I recently visited Daily Baguette in Ubud and tried their plain croissant, raisin danish, and banana cake. The plain croissant was light, buttery, and flaky—just the way a good croissant should be. The raisin danish had a nice balance of sweetness and texture, with juicy raisins inside soft layers of pastry. The banana cake was moist, fragrant, and not overly sweet, making it a perfect afternoon treat with coffee.

Daily Baguette felt and tasted just like being in a French bakery. The croissants and pain au chocolat tasted absolutely amazing. The real highlight, however, were the filled baguettes. The quality of the baguette is breathtaking – it smells and tastes just like in France itself. The same goes for the croissants and pain au chocolat. The coffee with our food was excellent as well. We had the iced latte with vanilla several times, as well as the praline iced latte. All in all, absolutely recommended!

Very good bakery in Ubud centre. We had tuna sandwich, Brekkie sandwich (which is omelette and feta cheese) and some slices of cake. They were all so delicious. Quick lunch for my last day in Ubud.

Came here on my last visit to Ubud and knew I was coming back. Treated myself to a coffee and a selection of the small desserts (what a great option). All so delicious. Highly recommend, sit upstairs and watch the world go by.

Great spot with tasty food, a welcoming atmosphere, and some of the best coffee I’ve had in the area. The space is thoughtfully designed and the service was solid. That said, prices felt a bit on the higher side considering the wide variety of equally good (and more affordable) options nearby. Still worth a visit if you’re looking for a more curated, slightly upscale experience in Ubud.

Was craving potatoes and needed a comfortable place to read, write, plan. MOTHER hit all my needs. Service was great. Cappuccino was great. Really enjoyed my food, I got the Golden Fry Up. Eggs were cooked to my liking, lots of flavor and texture. The ambiance was casual, the seating very comfortable. Plenty of outlets to charge your devices. I would come back here!

No way you go out of this place just satisfied. The food, the drink, the dessert, the staff, the interior design, the atmosphere, the music... Wow! Rarely have we visited a little restaurant deserving as strong recommendations as we would like to express here. Absolutely best in town.

Easily one of my favorite places for plant-based food in Ubud I especially enjoyed their naturalistic, holistic and health-conscious diet approach Only downside for me: I just wished they would have some vegan desserts for dinner and generally the option to veganize each meal (i.e. swapping scrambled eggs for scrambled tofu)

They use duck eggs for their dish. Of course they tasted more rich and flavorful on the egg dishes. For your coffee, you can choice between almond, soy oat milk and regular milk.

This restaurant is in a really quiet, peaceful area of Ubud. I had the badass breakfast skillet. My eggs where very over cooked and rubbery. Only 4 small pieces of sausage and I couldn't taste the bacon. It was quite disappointing to be honest and expensive it came to 165k for the skillet and a cup of tea. They have a great menu so I will definitely give this place another try sometime.

Super yummy meal - we got the tofu curry and a mixed satay. The food was delicious and really big portions. Curry could have slightly more flavour, but still really yummy. Good value.

We loved the place, it is in the mid of Ubud streets. The food was amazing. Staff were very polite. The place is reasonably priced. We visited twice and were impressed each time. Their club sandwich and coconut caramel pudding is a must try.

Delicious vegetarian lunch, chilled spot on the balcony. Great, friendly service. We had nasi campur within incredibly flavourful steamed tofu. mi goreng, and dadar gulung. All delicious. We will be back for sure!

The location is perfect for tourists who's visiting ubud. Which is near to monkey Forest, ubud palace and ubud art Market. The property ambiance is nice, perfect for tourists who can sit outside with the street view, perfect for dinner also, the restaurant is very close to monkey Forest. So the location is suitable for an evening walk also. Food was nice basically it's a cafe type, they have sandwiches, burgers and some local dishes also. They have a variety of fresh juice and shakes also. The service is also nice.

I went here multiple times during my trip it was so good. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great as well. Warung Semesta also has my favourite mie goreng (out of all the ones I tried). I would definitely come back!

I’ve had food in this place before and it’s always good, staff is incredibly nice. today I ordered the babaganush and the ravioli and the plates were ridiculously small. the babaganush was served in a dessert plate with no bread, and the ravioli had only 3 (three) raviolis.

Nice place for brunch. Breakfast menu is nice, the chicken scrambled eggs could have been better with the bread toasted so it’s not soggy (and not so much cream sauce too), however the egg and mortadella bagel was very good. The tuna salad was supreme and the strawberry and pistachio tarte was the best we tried. The cafe is located in PARQ, and although it’s a nice place, the pretentious crowd kind of lets the place down. Nonetheless worth a visit. In terms of service it could use improvement, dishes were not at served at the same time, and generally slow service when brining out cutlery and plates etc.

The presentation of the dish was appealing, however, it fell short in flavor, leaving me somewhat disappointed. Incorporating additional spices might enhance its taste. Additionally, although I ordered the tuna medium (they specifically asked me how I want it), it was prepared well done. Despite these issues, the staff was exceptionally friendly, though we did have to request a menu and inquire again about placing an order, otherwise the staff wouldn’t have come to our table. My boyfriend had a sandwich, the beef was tender and he was satisfied with his meal.

Upmarket cafe with prices to match, but good service level and lovely food and coffee. Nice little touch of cinnamon bun portion delivered with coffee. We had 3 egg omelette with asparagus and mushroom and eggs Benedict. Both really well made. Looked like there was only 1 young guy in the kitchen, so he does a great job!

Really really great food in ubud, one of the best I’ve had. Especially the seared tuna. The interior is very pretty, it’s part of a concept store with great pieces. Plus they don’t charge the tourist taxes here. The only thing which I didn’t like were the red velvet cake and orange cake. They were both very dry and not with a lot of taste.

Service was amazing, the food and drinks we had were great, the music was on point, and the space is lovely. I really can't fault this place on anything other than it's coffee. Espresso was clearly extracted much longer than it shouldve been which at least helped disqyise some of the dark and roasty flavour notes. Still definitely worth a visit, just avoid the coffee in my humble opinion

Best coffee and eatery in Ubud. Definitely must visit place.!!! Designed with love! Combined so many ART:) And also they have Jewelary and design clothes from 100% linen. My wife fell in love with INDULGE. But my love in this place is amazing coffee! Ahhh don’t forget about flower shop!!

I like this place and it has a great open mic night on Thursdays but there are limited vegan options and it’s not marked that well, same with gluten free. Would love if they could do this for people. People are allowed to smoke inside the restaurant, both up and down stairs which makes it hard to breathe. I love the decor and layout but those things make it a maybe I would go back to place. Hope they can sort it out :)

Only got to stay here for one night but wish I could’ve stayed longer. The room was clean & beautifully decorated. So fun to see monkeys around the area. Delicious food at their restaurant. Service was also great!

Our favourite cafe in Ubud! The best spot to relax and enjoy a drink where you can watch the monkeys from the forest nearby - the hot monkey tea was amazing. We ate here twice also and the food was excellent (some great all-day breakfast options) and good value. The decor is beautiful and gives a relaxed vibe. Would recommend a visit.

We always enjoy both the food and the service at Bohemia. We often bring our guests here for Middle Eastern/Mediterranean dishes. Our go-to is always the chicken shish, and the dip sauces are consistently delicious. Highly recommended.

Fantastic atmosphere. The open mic night is just superb. Highly talented musicians that are a far cry from most open mic sessions. A huge and special shout out to the (11 year old?) lad on guitar. He truely made that guitar sing

Dirty, both the room was full of dust and grime but also the linen had a lot of spots on them and when asked for a replacement, the new towels also he spots on them. The location was not ideal since the gate to the monkey forest and walking path besides it were both closed so it was hard to get to the city center. The curtains didn’t cover the window fully and so in the shower people could walk by and see directly inside. We stayed in a very dark room, no matter that all of the lights were turned on, it was impossible to see properly. All in all would not recommend.

What I would like to mention in my review is on google it’s 3 star hotel and on booking.com 4 star hotel which is misleading because I booked through booking.com, from living 5 star in Kuta to this Bali Bohemia, yes its bit hippy style hotel but old school I would rate this hotel 2 star, I would recommend don’t waste your money we left this hotel to book another one as there is no refund either and also they don’t offer breakfast and there restaurant is filled with smoker which I don’t want my kids to be around and eat while people are smoking, the at the rooms are design specially 2nd floor ones not good at all, I would say don’t waste waste your money looking at the hippy pictures we are taking this holidays for comfort for our family and kids not to be hippies. I hope this review help someone look for something modern as we are living in modern era

This is so far the best place I've visited in Bali, the best breakfast I had. It's been 3 days in a road coming here, trying different dishes and all of those have been amazing. Thank you so much guys

Very exciting breakfast in ubud. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is in the center of Ubud which is still in a relaxed atmosphere.

Popped in after wandering around the centre. Don’t get misled by the appearance, the food and coffee here were incredible. We got the BLT and the Vietnamese rolls (good gluten free option!) and both were genuinely shockingly good. My ice latte was perfect. This is a great choice, cheap, good service and most importantly, proper good food.

Chose this place because it has AC. On the main street in Ubud. The drink was tasty. We didn't have food but definitely want to try before I leave. Service is friendly.

Kare Ayam and Lemongrass Tea. The chicken and curry flavor is decent, but the rice is a little on the dry side. Rice can be personal preference though as I like mine a bit on the moist side. It has a little pepper in there enough to make it have that spicy flavor without being overly spicy. The seats inside are a bit on the warm side, so there's really only one section of seating at the front which is relatively cooler. Just for context, I'm eating here at 7:30am around opening time. They opened earlier than their listed 8am open time which is very nice. Not many places are open and are ready to take customers.

This unassuming shop&cafe-resto had a great menu and GREAT coffee. It has aircon, lovely staff, and portion sizes were just right. With plenty of vegetarian items as well as western, indo, juices, smoothies and GOOD coffee (wait I said that already 🤭). No mochas or flavorings but still it was good and such friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere you’re shopping along monkey forest road and next to art market, make this your nearby pit stop to recharge.

I really don’t understand the reviews mentioning bad food or slow service. The staff is very warm and friendly, and the food is fantastic, especially considering the price! (You can get a breakfast for 40k and cappuccino for 30k) Will definitely recommend if I get the chance, not least because the coffee here is a hidden gem.
