Donna was truly an amazing dining experience for us. The dishes were delectable, cocktails & coffee were palatable and hospitality was incredible. We were warmly welcomed and treated by the staff. I believe the manager on duty (her name slipped my mind but we managed to take a picture together) attentively checked up on us. She even introduced us to Donna’s sister company, Ivy Cafe (which didn’t fail to impress us as well). Heads up, make a reservation at least one day before

My wife has a severe peanut allergy and this is the first place in Bali that catered for it and cared. The food was also absolutely phenomenal. I’m not even joking. Each dish was instagrammable and the taste was second to none. The service is worthy of Michelin star. Well done to all the staff that work there. It’s an amazing place and I can’t wait to come back before we leave. The drinks were sensational too. Honestly I can’t rate this place highly enough. Thank you once again for an amazing meal. My wife will talk about this his for decades, and so will I. If you’re in Ubud you MUST have a meal here.

What an amazing experience…. Food a 10, drinks a 10, Agus our waiter…. A 100… would highly recommend having dinner here. We will be back! The best we’ve had in Bali hands down, and top 10 in our time. Loved it!

Excellent tasting and well presented food at a reasonable price. I would personally recommend the Tasmanian Salmon and definitely the Donna dessert. Table next to us were celebrating a birthday and the other side came to celebrate their last night in Bali. It is a special venue. Be sure to book in advance as it os very popular and we could not get a table when we tried to book the first time.

Had good dinner but the weather was so hot and humitted so hard to forcus on food. I had vegetarian menu and it was very nice but for me, it was little bit oily( grilled vegetables ). When you are bit tired of Balinese food, here is good to try. in Bali it is so hard to find the place under the air conditioner, and need to worry about mosquitoes all the time can not pay attention to food :(

Thank you Gede for such an exceptional experience! From the welcoming until the end. Food was superb TOP NOTCH! We had the seafood paella and the croquettes. Full of flavor but so well balanced flavors. We finished with the cream brûlée and tiramisu. We were in heaven! Later on we went upstairs for some Shisha. Bold flavors with light clouds of smoke. The place has a beautiful vibe. The atmosphere, the music and the attentiveness of the staff. Thank you and we will definitely revisit.

Our favorite bar in Ubud. Head down the nearby alleyway and it’s upstairs. The food is really good and the drinks even better. If you can get the table up against the windows facing the street you should as it is great people watching. Oftentimes there is a live band so this table also puts you on the backside of the speakers so you won’t go deaf. Service was attentive. Bathroom is back downstairs. They also give out free homemade potato chips that were delicious.

I recently had an incredible evening at No Mas Bar, where the music and entertainment truly stole the show! The vibrant atmosphere and live performances created an electric energy that had everyone enjoying the night. It was a fantastic experience that made for a memorable outing. As for the drinks, there were definitely some standouts that were simply amazing—crafted with care and bursting with flavor. However, a few of the other cocktails fell a bit short and could use some improvement. While the variety is impressive, it would be great to see a more consistent quality across the menu. Overall, No Mas Bar is a fantastic spot for an entertaining night out, especially if you love live music! Just keep in mind to stick with the signature drinks for the best experience. I look forward to returning and enjoying more of what they have to offer!

I highly recommend it! The food is delicious. The service is attentive and friendly. You have to try the octopus tacos and the kimchi okonomiaky! An explosion of flavors that made me go back the next night and order again.

Oh my gosh, the Spanish music was absolutely incredible! The atmosphere was so warm, friendly, and family-friendly. The band even asked where everyone was from and tried to sing a song that was close to their culture. It was so thoughtful! And the food was absolutely delicious! It was so tasty and made me feel like I was back in time. The decor was also really cool, with a vibe that felt like the early 90s. It took me right back to my childhood!

The vibiest spot!! Got a mocktail and the nachos and both were delicious. Atmosphere is off the charts, highly recommend!

Great spot along the main drag of town. We’ve been here a couple of times; once for lunch and once in the evening for drinks and live music. The lunch was good and service prompt. At night the vibe completely changes and we really enjoyed the live music and drinks. The service was top notch and we never waited for a drink even though the place became packed. The servers are very aware of when you need something and are excellent at anticipating everything. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Awesome garden bar with amazing service! We came yesterday to was the epic rugby game between NZ and SA and they set up w whole area with commentary for us. The service here was excellent, super friendly and attentive and some tasty local beer on tap. Calamari and hot chips were nice beers snacks and the ABs won yew! 🏉

While pub hopping in Ubud, our second stop was The Blue Door. The place has a great vibe, especially for music lovers. They’ve got two sections — a restaurant area with live bands, and a club that really comes alive after 11–11:30 PM. We reached around 11 and sat in the restaurant section for a bit. Ordered beers and nachos — though honestly, the menu felt pricey and the nachos were pretty average. By the time we arrived, live music was almost wrapping up. About half an hour later, we moved to the club. Entry was free, but getting a table required a minimum spend, which didn’t feel worth it, so we just hit the dance floor instead. Do note: the restaurant and club have separate pricing and separate billing, with the club side being more expensive. That said, we ended up having a good time. Grabbed some beers inside the club and danced for the next two hours. There were even two dance performers adding to the energy. The space isn’t huge — compact and pretty packed — but it definitely delivers if you’re chasing party vibes in Ubud. Tax & service charge pretty high.

Absolutely amazing service!! The food was amazing and all staff were so accommodating and lovely. We will definitely be returning!! Also.. the steaks were cooked to perfection and was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Definitely worth the money!! There was a live singer who was wonderful, came over to the tables etc. They made a fuss as we were celebrating a birthday. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Ubud, Bali!!

After a month away from Bali, the first thing I did was come back to The Blue Door for their Sunday Roast. It was just as incredible as I remembered—tender meat, perfect vegetables, and gravy that's pure comfort. What made it even better was the staff's genuine warmth and the fact that they remembered me. It felt like coming home. The best Sunday Roast on the island, hands down.

I ate here nearly every day! No matter what dish you choose, it’s always amazing. The service is excellent—even on busy nights—and the team is incredibly accommodating. They stay open super late, are extremely accommodating, and every experience here has been a pleasure. Truly no complaints!

Fun place to have a drink. It was extremely busy, but we didn’t have to wait long for a table at all! The drinks were nice. Sports were on, which was fun to be able to watch. There was a live band playing, they were insanely good. Only downside was that with the amount of people and the live music it was quite loud and it was difficult to talk to one another.

I had a great time at CP Lounge tonight! The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with a nice mix of music and a friendly crowd. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and the drinks came quickly and tasted great. I especially enjoyed the spacious setup with pool tables—it makes the place feel more social and fun compared to a regular bar. Definitely a good spot to hang out in Ubud if you’re looking for music, drinks, and a chilled vibe. Highly recommended!

Good fun in here, listening to live music and a skin full of tequila, tourist trap and not cheap. It's gotta be some though sometimes 🕺🏾💃🏾 it was not bot loud and you could still have a nice conversation whilst enjoying music.

Fun place to hang out in Ubud! We went around 8 PM and it was quiet with a dance show, but by 10 PM live music started and later around midnight the DJ played. The vibe was young, energetic, and really enjoyable. We only ordered edamame for food, while my friends had cocktails. I tried the tiramisu with vanilla ice cream and pistachio ice cream – both were absolutely delicious. Not an ultra “wow” place, but definitely a good spot with great music and atmosphere! Very unique establishment. The staff are kind, the food and drinks are good. Varied and beautiful live performances, with many opportunities for spectators to interact and participate. A worthwhile experience.

The best lounge in Ubud in my opinion. I stopped by several bars around until finally I came to this CP Lounge, it's the best. Almost 100% of the visitors are foreign tourists, the place is spacious, there are 3 billiard tables and a swimming pool. live music until 12 at night, followed by a DJ performance in the room. The choice of drinks and food is quite large. Will definitely come here again when staying in Ubud.

CP Lounge is so much fun! The relaxed atmosphere, cool live music, and delicious menu choices make this place perfect for hanging out with friends or going on a date. The friendly service also adds to the positive impression. Definitely want to come back again!🙂

I had stayed in Ubud for three nights and on all three nights I visited this bar for night party. My overall experience was great and memorable. It was just 15 min walk from my stay. It stays open till 4am though the live music stops by 11:30pm but they have a dance floor inside the building on ground floor where the party music and DJ continues till 4am. I enjoyed both live music (open air) & DJ (inside the building). The food was ok but I went there only for music & dance. I would highly recommend this place in case someone is looking for good & entertaining late night life. I will surely visit again.

This was an exquisite experience. The team were all delightful and we enjoyed seeing the plants they grow on site and the recycling initiatives before settling down to the first tasting area. The thought that has gone into each of the tiny and beautiful morsels is amazing - local ingredients with unusual combinations of flavours and each dish explained by one of the members of the team. The evening progresses through three zones of the restaurant each with their unique atmosphere for each phase of the tasting menu.

This was a luxurious dessert experience. So refined, memorable and far exceeding expectations. You wouldn't expect it from the name, but the service and presentation felt world class. Absolutely worth the price per person. The beverage pairings were thoughtful and creative, sometimes unexpected but always harmonious with the flavours. Each course was beautifully presented and expertly crafted. A word of advice: arrive hungry! The portions are generous and surprisingly filling. We couldn’t finish everything on the spot, but the team kindly packed up the rest and we got to enjoy it again the next day. 10/10.

The most incredible dining experience of our lives. We loved room 4 dessert, the attention to detail in everything from the setting, to the food, to the way you move around the restaurant as you go through the different courses was amazing. Truly amazing experience, the wine pairing is a must! Highlights for me were the most amazing tuna (pic 2) not normally a fan of “raw” fish but really wow, so tasty! The black sesame ice cream dessert hit some sweet and savoury notes that gives Asian crème brûlée vibes (pic5), unbelievable. The duck taco also (pic1). Could have eaten 10. A must try if you visit Ubud. We also got a ticket to return for free snacks at the powder room next door, very bohemian vibes with records playing and awesome coffee.

Room4Dessert gives you the opportunity to taste, smell,feel and savor the taste of pleasure in your mouth. The entire experience is unbelievably unique. The service is top tier. I felt like they listened to me without being overly attentive. Don’t sleep on this spot!

I came to R4D by myself and it was such a nice experience from the very first moment I got greeted. Rhys and the rest of the team were so welcoming, you can really see how much training they have done because everything felt so smooth. From the garden to the entrance, every little detail was thought through. I started with the spiritless tasting menu and it was nothing short of amazing. You could tell how much the team, from the bartenders to the cooks to the servers, really loved what they were doing. Everyone was so knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the experience they were creating. The hospitality was on such a high level. The way the whole journey moved from one area to another felt unique. I haven’t seen anything quite like it before. It honestly made me feel like I was having dinner at someone’s home yet a high level tasting journey. The dishes and the mocktail pairing were definitely the highlight of the night. Every single one was fantastic. Even though I don’t usually eat everything, the small portions encouraged me to try new things and by the end I was completely satisfied. It was perfectly planned from start to finish and I just had a really lovely time. Big kudos to the team for all the thought and training they put into this place. And a special thanks to Rhys and Deva who made my dinner as a solo diner feel so comfortable and well taken care of.

This was such a great evening. We didn’t quite know what to expect… 15 courses… how were we going to eat all that?? But it was such a great experience. Eating in 3 different locations created this unique dining experience and the chef is seriously talented in creating all those courses, yes dessert heavy, although savory was just enough and really really good! If you are looking for that foodie experience this restaurant is definitely a must!

We loved this restaurant, we came back two nights in a row. The atmosphere is very nice with dim lighting. The service was very good and everyone was kind. I loved everything that we got to eat there. The drinks are unique and super yummy. The hummus is absolutely delicious as well as the poke bowl and the creme brûlée. Highly recommed.

This restaurant was so delicious we went two nights in a row! The staff were very attentive and kind, and the food was amazing!! I got the steak frites, and that was the best steak I’ve ever had. The drinks were also very tasty, and the overall atmosphere was very nice. The hummus was also amazing!!

Great place right off a quiet street. Nice dining at the back in the garden facing the hotel. The nasi goreng was very local and delicious. The tuna bowl was refreshing and delicious. And the fruit bowl was fresh and sweet.

Seriously the best restaurant I ate at in Bali. We stayed at Dinara Hotel and they included breakfast from Melali. You can order a healthy and delicious breakfast with choice of coffee or tea and fruit juices. Everything was fresh and rivals the best brunches I have had in L.A.

One of the best bar kitchen in town. They serve a lot varieties of excellent cocktails. We had a couple visited in September, we had felt enjoyed spent our time to had dinner here. Pay attention staff and better make a reservation in advance.

Ibu Susu in Ubud is an absolute must-visit! The food here is just incredible, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented—every dish we tried left us wanting more. Their cocktails are honestly the best in town (you have to try them all!), and the bar team really knows how to impress. The staff make every meal a delight with their next-level friendliness and warm hospitality. On both of my trips to Ubud, I found myself coming back to Ibu Susu at least four times each visit—that’s how good it is! I’m already looking forward to my next trip back. My absolute favourite is the Snapper Ceviche, which I still crave every day. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

This is by far one of my favourite places in Ubud! If you're looking for delicious food, the perfect hand crafted cocktails, great atmosphere, topped off with fantastic service, look no further! I am still working my way through their menu, but so far have absolutely loved the chicken wings, steamed buns and dim sum, the red snapper carpaccio is unreal! We had the duck pancakes and the beef randang which were so yummy!!! The pandan crepe and chocolate brulé are the perfect desserts! Ketut and his super team of bartenders and mixologists bring out new flavour combinations with their monthly cocktail specials, plus a great happy hour makes it so easy to keep coming back!! Highly highly recommend!!

While the food and cocktails at IBU SUSU are phenomenal (bartender Agung made me personalized drinks I'm still craving!), it's the staff that truly makes this place exceptional. Indra was our guardian angel for the evening. He greeted us, helped with parking, and provided impeccable, warm service all night. Sambo and Srik were also wonderful. We were amazed that every single team member, from the waiters to the bartenders, had complete and total knowledge of the entire menu. Their expertise is astounding. A final note on the owner, Ketut—he was so involved we didn't even realize he was the owner until the end! That hands-on approach reflects in the incredible service culture here.

I love Ibu Susu. Laid back, great decor and lovely food. You won’t find a better selection of cocktails in Ubud. And I genuinely think the chocolate crème brûlée is one of the best desserts I’ve had - ever (and I’ve eaten in lots of great places around the world!). The staff are very attentive and the food is really tasty. Clearly a place that has had a lot of thought and love poured into it. As Ubud becomes increasingly commercialised, its lovely to see a place that still has an indie vibe!

It’s a small, very nicely appointed, two level dining room, right on MFR. We sat upstairs, which was a little quieter. We grazed on oysters, king prawns, octopus carpaccio, burrata cheese and barramundi. The highlights were the octopus and the king prawns, the least interesting were the oysters. The romesco sauce was a little overpowering. We had a bottle of wine which they kept chilled in a wine bucket, so didn’t try any of their cocktails. Service was very attentive and friendly, and I would consider the value as excellent.

Delicious food at PASIR last night, came here after seeing the menu that reminded me of great food I’d eaten in Israel, hoping for the same kind of tastes and quality and I was not disappointed! Two of us had two small plates, two from the garden plates and one pain and it was a huge amount of food! Each dish was delicious but I especially liked the hummus with crispy chickpeas, and the roast baby potato dish. Cocktails were equally yummy. Only slight downside was that we were taken upstairs as we had booked and there was no one else up there! So atmosphere a bit lacking, would have been better to sit downstairs where it was busier

INCREDIBLE INCREDIBLE ON EVERY ASPECT! After a couple days of Asian food, some Mediterranean/European cuisine was much needed and we couldn’t hit it better… Everything was delicious and bargain-priced. One of the best dinners in Bali, if not the one.

Visited in May 2025. Bali. Ubud. Nestled just a short distance from Ubud's bustling center and the playful antics of the Monkey Forest, lies Pasir Ubud, a charming eatery adjoined to a local hotel. The interior boasts a bright and airy ambiance, cleverly maximizing the space, and thoughtfully utilizes natural materials throughout the décor. FOOD: The menu, while concise, hints at a Mediterranean influence with a notable emphasis on seafood. It's divided neatly into sections featuring appetizers, main courses, and delectable desserts. Eager to sample a variety of offerings, we opted to focus on the appetizer selection. We began with the pasta, featuring prawns and a bisque. The pasta itself possessed a pleasingly smooth and delicate texture, cooked to the very edge of being overdone - although I confess, I generally prefer a more pronounced "al dente" bite. The sauce, however, was a triumph. A rich and intense prawn and seafood flavor permeated every strand, leaning towards a subtle creaminess rather than a dominant tomato base, and demonstrating a masterful balance of flavors. Next came the baked oysters, presented with a duo of intriguing sauces. We were particularly impressed by the consistency and structure of this dish. The oysters were tender, thoroughly infused with the flavors of the sauce, and blessedly free of any excess moisture - a true testament to the chef's expertise. Sadly, the white fish ceviche proved to be less successful. The fish possessed a somewhat peculiar texture and a disconcerting tendency to fall apart. It appeared the fish fibers had been damaged, possibly due to improper thawing techniques. Furthermore, the dish lacked any discernible acidity, resulting in a flavor profile that was decidedly bland. For dessert, we indulged in the coconut crème brûlée. While enjoyable, I confess I yearned for a more robustly caramelized crust of burnt sugar, echoing the iconic crispness of the original crème brûlée. The custard itself was smooth, creamy, and free of any unwelcome graininess. SERVICE: The service was both attentive and efficient. Our order was taken promptly, and the staff demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills. When we expressed our disappointment with the white fish ceviche, we were graciously offered a complimentary dessert, a gesture greatly appreciated and reflective of a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. VERDICT: Overall, we were thoroughly charmed by the cuisine and ambiance at Pasir Ubud. Almost every dish we sampled was delicious and brimming with its own unique personality. If you find yourself in Ubud, I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this delightful restaurant.

Service was impeccable as always - each dish was explained carefully to us. However 4/5 dishes we ordered were disappointing despite so many raving reviews! We were looking forward to this meal but it was definitely a let down - of no fault to the servers so we told them it was great regardless. The only dish we enjoyed were the Lombok Scallops. Grilled Octopus was overcooked and chewy and very bland. Lacked any sort of flavor whatsoever and the same with the Beef Cheek.. Octopus Carpaccio wasn’t horrible but wasn’t anything special either and the same with the Prawn Bisque Tagliatelle. Didn’t live up to the hype for us unfortunately.

Try to get a reservation to secure your spot. I came previous night but it was booked out. Looked good, so had to try. The feta dip with flatbread was really good. Asparagus was well flavoured. Spaghetti surprisingly good and grilled octopus was tender and had good sauce. Coconut panna cotta could have done with more sugar caramelisation at top though. Overall- worth it

There are so many vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurants in Ubud and us carnivors were a bit sceptical of Dumbo on first glance. But we decided to give it a go and did not regret our decision. Put simply, the pizza and pasta are phenomenal. We were all gushing over how good our individual dishes were and revelled in sharing them around so that everyone could have a taste. The interior of the venue is also beautifully designed and we were lucky enough to be seated at the enormous table reserved for larger groups, which felt like we had our own private dining area. A friendly visit from the Australian owner and a complimentary round of limoncello completed what was a very memorable experience.

Everything here is amazing! All the staff is so friendly, Mbok Juli always serves us with a heart-warming smile. Even the owner, Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Monica, and Ms. Eve, the manager also welcomed us warmly. The view and atmosphere on the upstairs is very calming and majestic. Even though this place is in Ubud, it is far from the hustle and bustle. The food here is very delicious. The vegetarian fettuccine is so creamy and tasty, I really recommend to try it, also the strawberry lemonade is very refreshing. And don't forget to order the tiramisu that has a very, very authentic taste! Highly recommend this place to have dinner or hang out!!

The setting is very comfortable and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff are super friendly too! We were welcomed with some complementary finger foods and seated at a lovely open window. There are two downsides. It's very popular, so you might need to book or wait in a line if you're going at a peak time. Also, their menu is quite limited with choices. The food they do have is scrumptious - unquestionably top 3 with respect to pizzas in Ubud but not the most friendly on the pocket.

Hidden gem on busy street just north of Ubud. 5-7pm Happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails or wine - great value. The tempura vegetables entree and “Pinocchio” wood fired pizza (caramelised leek, candied lemon, bocconcini & feta - amazing combination!) were excellent.

Dumbo is a vegetarian restaurant and bar that serves Italian style food and pizzas from an amazing wood fired oven. Prices reflect the quality of the food. The decor and ambiance are amazing. The downstairs bar is decorated with records. The upstairs restaurant has brick and wood features, a disco ball style light, graffiti style paintings on the wall. Seating was comfortable. The restaurant played retro tunes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pizza oven fires up at 5pm. I will try the pizza on my next visit.

Such great pizza, cocktails and tiramisu. This is some of the best pizza I have had in the world, fresh and well thought out ingredients with such well cooked wood fired bases. Candied lemon on a pizza- who would have thought! Highly recommend and hope to be back again on another trip to Ubud.

First time going here for me even though I live nearby. I’ll definitely be back! Cool space with a good vibe. Interesting menu with old favourites and more creative offerings. My burrata plate was excellent - loved the relishes - and my partner enjoyed his pizza. Reckoned it was one of the best he’s had (and that reflects extensive research in Europe, Australia and USA) Desserts good too A new favourite local

It was super quiet and we nearly didn’t go but so glad we did. The food was delish! we got the dips (the herbed was divine), halloumi (kinda basic but still nice) and the eggplant (soooo good) They have great wines as well which is kinda harder in Bali. The service is a bit slow is the only thing but I guess not rushed? Would definitely recommend for a girl dinner or date 😁

There is no flaw in Bacari. Undeniably the most cool & chic place in Ubud. Exceptional wines and especially unique cocktails, that make you question the pop beverages that you so much enjoy on a regular. Out of small plates, chicken liver pate is my most favorite, sourdough and buratta thingy is as well great. The whole menu is well thought of and there are options for any preference. We were brought here for cocktails by a couple we met by chance. Walking in felt like we'd walked through a secret door. The interior was cozy and slightly dark. We sat at the bar. Their cocktail menu is quite eye-catching; each cocktail has a story. We were blown away! We tried a passion fruit cocktail and loved it! The ice cubes were safe. Unfortunately, we only had the chance to visit once, but it was a flavor that stayed with us and our palate in Bali.

Their service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and always smiling. We booked a suspended daybed with prepaid credit, and what an experience it was! We enjoyed a delicious lunch right on our daybed, then relaxed on the pool loungers – the perfect combination. The atmosphere was elevated by a talented DJ spinning amazing afro house beats all afternoon. Pure bliss! Here’s a pro tip: We didn’t use our entire prepaid amount, so we gave the difference as a tip to the incredible staff. They were so grateful, and honestly, they deserved every bit of it for the exceptional service. I highly encourage everyone to do the same if you find yourself in this situation – these hardworking people truly make your experience unforgettable. The suspended daybed, the stunning infinity pool with its lounge area, the music, the food, and above all, THE STAFF – everything was perfection. Don’t think twice – book your daybed at Jungle Fish. Relaxation at Its Best ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing time relaxing by the pool — the surrounding nature and peaceful atmosphere are truly refreshing. The food is excellent with plenty of options, and the cocktails are served with great style. The shallow lounging area in the pool is a brilliant touch. The staff are kind, attentive, and always ready to help. A perfect place to unwind!

The food was delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming. A special thanks to Wayan, who helped us choose some amazing dishes and provided excellent service throughout our visit.

Beautiful day in the jungle and rice fields, massive big infinity pool surrounded by sundeck chairs, bar and lounges but the food has unfortunately a big let down! Music just ok during the day.

TLDR: Good service, comfortable atmosphere, great drinks, food was okay for meat eaters, but disappointing if you are veggie/gf We came here for dinner tonight and had a mixed experience. I’ll start with the positive, the service: as you’d expect in Bali it was warm, friendly and very attentive. The space itself was clean, comfortable and well looked after too. The drinks we had were excellent as well, and the 2-4-1 happy hour is great value. The food was a mixed bag and didn’t blow us away. My partner is vegetarian and gluten free, and she ordered the roasted beetroot for her main. When the plate arrived it was quite bare - 90% beetroot with a few greens and cubes of cheese doused in vinegar. There wasn’t anything else to it like a filling base of mash/rice/greens to justify listing this as a “main” in the menu - maybe this one’s on us for not looking at the menu detailedly enough, but if something is listed as a main I expect it to be more filling. As a side or starter, it would’ve been okay. I had the ribs which were very flavourful, but laid on top of a papaya salad which had too much vinegar for my liking. The tres leches for dessert was good. Again, top stars to the staff for noticing my partner wasn’t wild on the beetroot and offering to remove it from the bill. The surprise amouse bouches were great too. I would come back if they expanded their gluten free offerings!

Everything about Copper was truly outstanding. We had the pumpkin soup, pork ribs, and duck — each dish was exceptional. The pumpkin soup, in particular, was soulful and comforting, perfect for a cool, rainy evening. The focaccia they served was absolutely divine. Every dish was a five-star experience, made even better by the warm and genuine hospitality of the staff. Amazing from every angle.

The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the staff is very professional and friendly. However, we had much higher expectations for the food. We started with welcome cocktails and a small bite, which was a very nice touch and tasted good. Our mocktails were also enjoyable. For a starter, we ordered the jumbo shrimp – it looked great on the plate, but serving just one shrimp (where 70% of it is shell and head) was definitely not a good idea- anyway the sauces used in this dish were excellent and gave it an amazing flavor. Next came the chicken breast sous vide – it was simply fine. The portion was small (as expected for this type of restaurant), but the grey sauce was not good, while the vegetables were perfectly julienned and delicious – though again, there was very little of them. The ribs were just average, and unfortunately, they didn’t fall off the bone as they should have. The vegetables they were served on were far too vinegary. The potato purée, on the other hand, was tasty and served in a generous portion. The salad we ordered to go with the starter was also just okay Overall, a pleasant experience with excellent service and a few dishes that really stood out, though there is still room for improvement when it comes to balance and portions.

My wife and I visited for the special romantic dinner during our honeymoon. We were given a table surrounded by flowers in the shape of a heart, in a secluded offshoot of the main restaurant which we had all to ourselves. We were treated like total VIPs as we were served a multi-course set meal (with much flexibility for substitutions) and wine pairing. The main restaurant is already beautiful, but we were treated in such a way that the other patrons must have been wondering who we were. The food was delicious. The presentation beautiful. Atmosphere out of this world. The staff take a lot of pride in their work here, and it is a very special place. I'm told that they grow all of their own vegetables on-site, and prepare basically all food and components from scratch. It really shows. Ria in particular was a joy to talk to and took super great care of us. My only regret is that we did not reserve a room here when we were setting up our honeymoon, but we certainly will if we're ever back in town. The VIP romantic dinner (here in particular) is a once in a lifetime experience. Don't pass it up.

This was the best meal we’ve had in Bali. We walked over two miles to get to this pace and it was well worth it. We got the prawns, tofu, wagyu and the ribs. All were 12/10. The cocktails were delicious as well and they give you a nice hold towel when you come in to cool you off they also gave us a couple lemongrass shots and bread with pumpkin spread. Very nice servers, would happily go back!

We came in and tried their new dinner menu. The gili curry clams and sticky pork ribs were absolutely delicious! A must try As a vegetarian, I must say the cauliflower steak had this creamy cajuny sauce that was really tasty. Our group also ordered a risotto to mix it up and it was also very savory and delightful.

Beautiful rooftop and great service! Meal began with focaccia, lemon sipping drink and veggie skewer. We enjoyed the food with both Indonesian dishes and other cuisines. Recommend eggplant appetizer, lobster fried rice, rendang, and pork ribs. Very tasty cocktails as well!

This place was a pleasant surprise! I was one of the first to enter around 12:00pm. The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t stop the amazing service that I received. Staff was 10/10. Sun lounger was 150,000 rupiahs. It came with pool towel and welcome drink. This place is truly a hidden gem located in a busy area near the Monkey Forest. If you want time to relax at the pool this is the place to be. I really liked that they had a swim up bar. Also on the other side of the pool near the sun loungers they had stools & tables in the pool. I spent most of my time on the pool float. Every day club needs one of these! Highly recommend this place!

My 12yo and I were spending a day in Ubud, so I Googled places to swim and found Folk. For $5 you get a towel and access to the pool. This is a special venue. The food is cheap and so fresh - it’s a blessing to be able to swim, grab a cheap and tasty meal, and beer in a beautiful garden. (There is no need to pay for a pergola, the seating is comfortable and naturally shaded).

An amazing place, seemingly out of a dream. We stumbled on it by chance and felt immediately welcome by Made (the manager). The food and drinks were all delicious, and the service was both extremely nice and impressively professional (shoutout to Nadya!). We didn't have our swim suits so we came back the night after and had another great time at the swim up pool bar, entertained by the barman Suar (aka "The Machine"). We wish we could bring the whole place back home! Definitely a must-go.

This restaurant comes with a pool and served outdoor cinema in the night without minimum payment. Outdoor cinema is not always there every night, you need to check their instagram or website for the schedule. Unfortunately, there's a live music bar located in front of this restaurant which music is disturbing the movie. But i guess there's nothing they can do about that. Hope they can have more seating with better chair in front of the screen.

We loved this place so much we went back numerous times during our stay. And I tend to be picky. I imagine though if it was busy, it might be a different experience. Folk is an awesome oasis in the middle of Ubud. This was my experience. It has really good, interesting food, very attentive and friendly service and a lovely pool area with much more interesting cabanas than most of the beach clubs elsewhere. The ONLY downside is the cocktails. They're a bit too uniform, they need some layering of the elements to give them a little more interest. The bar has a few seats in the pool so you can swim up to the bar and sit in the pool. The small tapas that you get free when you pay for entry is really very delicious. All the food was delicious... And interesting. We were consistently impressed with everything we tried.

Milk & Madu is such a lovely spot for breakfast in Ubud! We ordered the Eggs Brekky, Orchard Bowl, and Madu Pancakes all three dishes were absolutely top-notch, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and courteous, which made the experience even better. The place does get quite busy in the mornings, but the lively atmosphere and cozy ambience make it worth it. Definitely a must-visit in Ubud, and I’d love to come back again!

Absolutely loved our lunch at Milk and Madhu! The service was top-notch – we’re super picky vegetarians (no egg, no fish oil) and Captain Puspa and Novi were amazing, guiding us through the menu without batting an eye. She suggested the Summer Slice Pizza and OH MY GOD – best pizza EVER. I seriously still can’t get over how good it was. Big shoutout to the team for making a Milo Shake for us, even though it’s supposed to be just for kids. That was such a nice touch! We had an awesome lunch and can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend this place!

I came here on a Sunday to try their special brunch, and it was such a great way to start the day! I had the cheeseburger with a beer — absolutely delicious and satisfying. Then I couldn’t resist trying the dessert: an apple crumble pie with ice cream. It was simply amazing! I left with such positive vibes and a big smile. The atmosphere here is wonderful- friendly people, great music, and an overall lovely energy. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to:)

We came here based on reviews and had breakfast and dinner. Everything was great. They had breakfast promotions, and it was incredibly crowded. A line formed after we sat down, but it wasn't as crowded that evening, so we enjoyed our meal comfortably. Since we don't eat pork, they offered to swap our menu items for other items, which was very nice. We enjoyed the lasagna for dinner. The ice cream is safe, and the food is delicious. We recommend it.

Nice atmosphere in the morning and in the evening because inside gets too hot at noon (due to big glass windows). You can enjoy great cocktails (you pay one get two during the happy hour). I ordered grilled fish and salad -the portion was a bit small- but it was really delicious. Prices are a bit above average. Service was very fast.

The food here is soo good!! The smash burger was so juicy and flavoursome, and the fries were nice and crispy! My boyfriend got the chicken Parma which was one a deal for 99k, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were super friendly and even let me do some colouring haha they also offer seltzers on the drink menu which was fun to try! I would definitely recommend to eat and drink at Milk & Madu!!

You can tell everything is made with care and great ingredients. Coffee was excellent as always — smooth, aromatic, and beautifully served. Was having the best morning here, having my proper breakfast after arriving in Ubud recently. It was the vibe that I enjoyed the most. Felt so nourished and charged being there for 2,5hr. The team there is a group of attentive people and they served genuinely from the heart. Especially Nana. She was such a sweet lady offering me a loyalty card right away. Happy to connect with her. We had a yummy breakfast here! There was no line to wait and we got seated immediately. We ordered the green smoothie, breakfast smoothie, two sides of scrambled eggs, the classic pancakes, and the berry pancakes. They were all so yummy! The eggs were perfect and the smoothies were refreshing. I think our favorite was the green smoothie. It was yummy!

Our experience dining at Aperitif Bali was incredible! Furthermore, the service provided by the lovely staff took the experience to another level. A special shout out to Ayu, our table concierge. She was attentive, explained the menu very well, and made us felt truly special. The menu was a gastronomical adventure worthy of its setting and location. We tasted dishes that were adventurous, complex, delicate, yet tasted so familiar to our Indonesian palates. The drink list is nothing short of remarkable. If you can’t find it here, you won’t find it anywhere else in Bali. However, it’s the little things that make this experience such a memorable one for us: We were the only lunch reservation that day and they opened just for us. They had a selection of steak knives from different countries and they wanted us to choose one for our Venison Wellington dish. I have been to a lot of restaurants all around the world, but this is the first time ever, where I had to choose my own knife! They printed our chosen 7-course degustation menu with our names on it as a memento for us to take home. It was our wedding anniversary that day and they served a special anniversary cake for us, together with a beautiful handwritten card signed by the entire kitchen and floor staff, including the chefs! It’s truly a 5-star dining experience and we highly recommend dining at Aperitif Bali to elevate your Bali culinary journey, whatever the occasion.

Had the most wonderful time celebrating my friend's birthday at Aperitif. We booked the private dining room, and every arrangement was perfect. The food was exquisite, the service was impeccable, and the venue itself is stunning. The manager was incredibly helpful and friendly during our WhatsApp communication in the lead-up to the event. A truly special touch was the personalized menu they created for us with our names on it, finalized after we made our choices upon arrival. It's these extra details that show how much they care about creating a unique experience. I cannot recommend Aperitif highly enough for a special occasion. Thank you for making our celebration so memorable.

This was honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was pure perfection. The staff were so kind and attentive — you can really feel how much they care about creating a special evening for every guest. But the food… absolutely incredible. Every course was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, perfectly balanced. Every single dish was a surprise in the best possible way. You can tell that so much thought, creativity, and passion go into every single dish. Each plate felt like a little journey on its own, both visually and in taste. The 7-course menu was a real culinary adventure and the wine pairing made it even more special. The wines were truly unique combinations I’d never have imagined, yet they matched the dishes flawlessly. It’s definitely worth adding the pairing; it elevates the entire experience. It’s rare to find a place where every detail, from the service to the plating to the final bite, feels so intentional and refined. I left completely amazed and already can’t wait to come back.

If Bali has a fancier restaurant than Apéritif, we haven’t found it. NB, as part of the Viceroy Hotel, this place has the only helicopter pad we’ve seen. Notice also Art Deco motifs merging with a colonial fantasy of Bali in the 1930s, when it was still ruled by the Dutch. Black and white tiles are typical of the era, okay, but the pattern also alludes to Balinese Hinduism, which acknowledges good and evil as equal parts of life, and life works best when in balance. We reserved an early table to take advantage of ambient light before sunset, but it was hardly necessary. Apéritif is well lit to feature the extraordinary cuisine. This is fine dining with nothing held back. The menu follows the phases of the moon, and all the plates are also shaped like the moon. The staff are marvelously well-trained and in typical Balinese style willing at all times to pause and explain what’s going on. The wine collection is world-class, and considering transportation and taxes, prices are very reasonable, but after a couple of fascinating cocktails that blended classic expressions with Balinese accents, we chose the wine pairing, which was magnificent, both in selections and in the pairings themselves, which were remarkably intelligent, not to mention synergetic. Sommelier Jean-Benoit Iselé has taken full advantage of APÉRETIF’s extraordinary cellar and doubtless collaborated closely with chef Nick Vanderbeeken to evoke every possible nuance. I’m running out of words, but this experience brings to a close our quest for authentic Bali. The power of this ancient anomalous civilization, now almost completely subsumed by tourism, has been raised to pure art here at Apéritif, absent apology, but glowing with respect for the very best.

Spoilt with the 10-course degustation tasting at one of Bali's finest restaurants - here at Apéritif. Themed with the phases of the moon, our multi-course meal featured specially crafted dishes designed to showcase the chef's creativity and highlight Balinese signature ingredients. It was a comprehensive culinary experience about much more than just taste, which was amazing! It's more a focus on sensory appreciation than just filling your stomach - which is what I usually do. :-) Highlight for me was being offered a choice of knives from all around the world, with each coming with an explanation. I of course chose the Balinese traditional knife! The showmanship of the 3 hour meal was all the entertainment we needed for the evening. Blew my mind! And tastebuds. Staff are so helpful in explaining each part of the experience. Definitely the place to bring loved-ones or special guests if you plan to show off Bali, or truly spoil someone - or just spoil yourself :-)

The wine and champagne list is extensive, carefully curated and balanced with selections from all over the world, offering options at every price point. There are plenty of choices to perfectly complement each course – whether you choose the pairing menu or select your own glass or bottle from their impressive range. I was fortunate enough to dine during a Friday lunch sitting. The restaurant’s presentation is just as memorable as the food, featuring a sophisticated monochrome design with a modern European–French influence that flows seamlessly through to the bar and terrace. Personally, the standout dishes for me were the King Prawn and the Venison Wellington, Chef Nic’s signature dish – both absolute must-tries. Aperitif is not just a meal, it’s an immersive culinary journey that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking the very best of fine dining in Ubud.

We didn't eat here. We had mocktails. Service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was warm and fun. Drinking a lot is encouraged. We went on a Tueaday night around 8pm. The band Aboe and friends were great. They rocked the covers the played and we had a great time. Unfortunately one very, very, very drunk person was falling all over everyone, touching people up, crashing into people, showing their underwear and no one could make them leave. For some people this was very amusing. For some people this was annoying and not nice. I saw staff finally refuse them alcohol and give water but it was too late. So, expect some very drunk people along with the yummy drinks and good music.

I came to this bar to catch up with some friends over a few beers. A band was playing & they were awesome 🤘 I had the chicken wrap & some mozzarella sticks which were so tasty & great value for money. The staff were so friendly.

The staff is incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It’s also family-friendly during the earlier hours, with games for the kids, which makes it a great spot for families looking to enjoy the evening together. As the night progresses, it becomes more of a hangout for smokers, adding a laid-back, social vibe to the place. A must-visit spot for great music, food, and an all-around fun experience!

We went on a saturday night around 7 pm and we were lucky enough to catch the DKay Band who were incredibly good (starts around 8.30/ 9 pm Sat night) , unbelievably talented all of them. We also got to meet the owner Pak. Bagus 😎 who is a very very friendly local man who is happy to talk, help in any way with all his patrons. We had the "Buy 2 Cocktails get 3" for 160 k they were delicious and the place was full by 9:30 pm still a couple of seats left not many as the band is so good. Try it you wont be disappointed, jl Bisma we will be back 100% again to meet all the friendly staff who are so good at orders and serving with smiles and explanation of each drink. What a live music, band performance was totally entertaining and made all the folks sing and dance together.. love the vibes 😍😍😍 Had burger which had eggplant, never thought I will try but it was damn tasty.. drinks were also good and service was pretty fast. Drinks name were also pretty interesting i.e. why not enjoy.. so true ☺️

Beautiful place and good food! Busy place next to the street, not cheap but the execution of the food, presentation and taste were outstanding. Highly recommended when in Ubud! Make sure you have reservation so there will be no wait. My favorite was the rib eye steak, medium rare and it was extremely juicy and delicious! A must try 😊 although they have to work on their fish dishes as some were overcooked. Too much cumin with some of their appetizers.service was excellent though.

Honey & Smoke in Ubud is a must-visit! The vibe is trendy and upscale, with amazing food and great service. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but the flavors, presentation, and execution are absolutely worth it. We ordered four small dishes and one entrée to share, and it was the perfect amount for two people. Every bite was full of incredible flavor. I highly recommend making a reservation since it gets busy, and you definitely don’t want to wait. Highly recommended when in Ubud — I absolutely loved it!

Incredible grill - the best meal we’ve had in Ubud. We did the ‘Feed Me’ menu and they let us swap one of the dishes on there. All the dishes were so well thought out, really sophisticated and amazingly balanced. 5 ⭐ experience all around

We stopped by here after not being able to get a table at Donna or Pasir (which I’d recommend trying). The restaurant itself looks really nice—stylish and inviting—so we decided to sit down for some small plates and cocktails. Unfortunately, both the food and drinks were disappointing. The only dishes I genuinely enjoyed were the romesco and scallops. The vine leaves were just okay, while the tuna crudo was oddly prepared and not something I’d order again. The two cocktails we tried were also pretty average. What made the experience worse was the service—our server came across as condescending and hovered over the table, which made the whole meal feel uncomfortable. Overall, a letdown despite the lovely setting.

Cocktails and food were exquisite with generous portions. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection. Service was very attentive. We preferred sitting upstairs as the seating area downstairs is off the busy road.

The food was delicious - we had the hummus and bread, carrots, and cauliflower to share, and I had the ragu for my main, which I would highly recommend. The seating was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise the vibe of the restaurant is nice. If this is the best club in Ubud I’m quite disappointed. Our experience was not so good. The DJ in Boliche opened his set and blasted the volume literally 3 times too loud as what was needed cause the club was still empty. I couldn’t believe nobody of the staff said anything. We were enjoying a cocktail and a conversation but that stopped instantly. I was especially shocked when the owner came in and was just cheering at the DJ instead of telling him to lower the volume a bit. I am myself an ex club owner and organized hundreds of events and can tell you that this was unprofessional. I read about the noise issue in the area and I can see why. And it isn’t actually needed to add much volume cause the place is tiny. I also think the cocktails are a bit pricy for the quality and quantity you get. And I really don't like it when staff puts you in the worst place of the venue (this is about Cantina, which is basically the same venue as Boliche) without asking where you wanna sit, while all tables are reserved but totally empty the whole evening. Overall this is not an underground venue but a commercial venue with not the welcoming vibe I would expect from one of the best clubs (the only club?) in Ubud. Final remark about the bar guy in the club: he was awesome and chill. That’s my only plus so far of this place.

It's taken me some time to think about this writing this review but I think it's important that I share for the safety of women travelers. I visited this bar for the 1st time while visiting Bali on April 11, 2025. I had wanted to go to this bar because they were advertising on Instagram that they had open decks for DJs. I clarified before I left the USA that I was interested and whomever was on their account said yes to bring my things and they would be having open decks. Come to find out tourists aren't even allowed to DJ without a permit and I didn't find that out until I was in Bali after clarifying with several people numerous times and lugging some of my valuable DJ equipment all over the island. Despite that - the vibes of this bar are boring. It was basically empty and that's when I met Dewa. He seemed like a nice local and was telling me he did private tours of Ubud on the side for a low price. He would drive me to numerous places. I had heard that was a thing from other tourists so I decided it was OK and safe. The next day he picked me up and we went to several touristy spots. I caught him taking photos of me with his own phone several times but I never confronted him. After our tour was over he dropped me off at my hostel. Things seemed fine as friends even though I felt like he was attracted to me (he's married with children btw). Later that night a couple of girls wanted to go out and I recommended going back to this bar because they supposedly had house music. We get there and dead again. We were basically the only people there and the music was horrible. One of the girls was upset saying this guy didn't know how to DJ and he should just be playing in his bedroom with his boring music. Dewa was there and staring at me the entire time. Another woman even noticed and said we should leave which we did and it wasn't even midnight yet. What a waste of a Saturday night. The next day on Sunday April 13 Dewa said he'd take me to the airport. I thought he was my friend so I agreed and for a price comparable to a taxi. I WISH I WOULD'VE SAID NO. After him picking me up on the way to the airport he parked on the side of the road and said he wanted me to sit in the front with him. I told him I needed to organize my things because my bag was messy and I had a long flight. That's when he reached back and put his arms around me and then kissed me on my neck. I froze out of fear. I told him please drive I don't want to be late to my plane flight. On the way there I caught him again taking photos of me while he was driving. I am mad at myself because at that point I should've just gotten out of the car but I had suitcases and had trusted this man. LADIES- DO NOT AGREE TO GET IN VEHICLES WITH LOCAL MEN THAT ARE NOT VOUCHED FOR. I cried about this incident and tried to not let it ruin my entire Bali trip, but I'm still trying to process the whole ordeal as I was obviously SA'ed. I would've never met this man Dewa if I never went to Boliche where he is a server and obviously using it as a place to meet tourists. Bar is not worth visiting. Music was bad two nights in a row, drinks over-priced, barely any patrons, and servers being predatory to female tourists. I don't know how this place has decent reviews on Google, but this was my experience. I do not recommend. Pic of Dewa after I confronted him through What's App saying I didn't like how he touched me and kissed me in the car. He said he felt sick and sent me a pic of himself. Glad I could share on the internet so other women know to stay away from him.

By far the best speakeasy in Ubud that has the perfect balance of chill out space and dancefloor vibes. Great cocktails, cute venue and mixed crowd so that no matter where you’re from or how old you are, you are guaranteed a great time!

We went there for a drink in the evening. The cocktails were in 2x1, so we ordered a Gin and tonic. I don't know if this is the norm in Bali, but instead of bringing a drink, then the second one when you are finished, they brought both at the same time. We had 4 drinks between the two of us, which is weird. The cocktails were served in wine glasses instead of gin ones (so much much smaller than regular gin glasses), and only half full. We managed to pour one glass into the other and still not fill the wine glass. So instead of actually getting a 2x1 drink, it feels more like you get a drink served in two glasses. The drinks were good but it took forever to arrive, even though the place was not crowded. The view is nice and I might come just for that, but I would definitely skip the cocktail and just get a beer or something.

What a great restaurant tucked away from the craziness of the high street in Ubud! High quality food and drinks, served with great attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. We sat at the bar which was great and the bartenders really looked after us 🍸 Don’t skip the lobster dumplings. Probably one of the best I ever had, really appreciated the generous ratio of lobster 🦞 The beef rendang was 🤌🏼 and I really enjoyed my grilled baby chicken. An explosion of flavour in all dishes, without being too spicy.

We had an outstanding experience at Hujan Locale. The local cuisine was exquisite, with fresh ingredients and every dish bursting with flavour, elevated by a touch of sophistication. It’s certainly not the cheapest restaurant in Ubud, but absolutely worth it. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and warm. The setting is charming, a typical local-style restaurant, yet with exceptional attention to detail and a beautifully maintained atmosphere. We tried the crispy chicken and pork batagor dumpling, the slow-cooked beef rendang, and the Acehnese chicken korma, all of which were utterly delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

The staff seemed to lose their minds over the fact that I had a bottle of energy drink with me—even though I wasn’t drinking it. The way they reacted was unnecessary and frankly insulting. Overall, Hujan Locale feels like a place coasting on reputation and aesthetics rather than substance. The food is decent, but if you actually care about flavor and value, you’ll find better—and more authentic—meals in the warungs down the street.

Hujan Locale is amazing. The venue is gorgeous and stepping in feels like you’re stepping into another era. The staff are professional and nice - delivering service with a smile. The food is fantastic - each meal providing a different range of flavours and textures. Each dish tastier than the next. Overall we have a GREAT experience and will return. It was on the pricier end of the spectrum but worth every cent - a nice treat!

We were recommended this place and it certainly did not disappoint! We came without a booking but were able to sit downstairs in the bar area and order all the food. The cocktails were great and the food was amazing. Some really interesting and unique flavours all round with too many dishes to recommend! Wish we had come another night to try some more.

A vegan heaven ✨ If I had 10 stars, I'd put them. The food? Mind-blowing. The coffee? First of all, I don't drink regular coffee. And I found here decaf 😭 And it was beyond good. One of the best quality coffees I've ever had. The restaurant? Beautiful. And most of all, quiet. With clients that respect each other. I can't stand anymore all these tourists doing whatever they want such as they are in their living room. And the variety of foods, drinks, sweets? Large. Alchemy was a very, very, very pleasant surprise 🙏💖 (And yes, it's a little bit expensive, but almost same prices you can find in other places with not such quality and variety. It's your choice after all) ☺️

Alchemy is always a reliable choice, whether for tea, lunch, or dinner – even their yoga studio is amazing. I especially love their herbal tea and always buy a pack to take home. This time I tried the Capricciosa pizza for the first time, but it was too salty for my taste. Not sure if that was intentional, as I usually love Alchemy’s food for being simple and mild in flavor.

Not enough stars for this amazing little gem! We loved our meal at the Elephant!! Our food was both beautiful and delicious beyond expectation. This is a vegetarian restaurant with no meat on the menu. Even if you normally order meat, this restaurant is worth trying, the food is excellent! The service was kind, welcoming and prompt. We had no language issues, the menu had English descriptions and we ordered in English but did our best to thank them in Bahasa. The meal was one of our more expensive meals in Indonesia but it was by far the best, worth every penny! The view was a simply stunning showing of the jungle in the area, while the restaurant was clean and decorated in Balinese style. We're so glad we stopped here for dinner! Stop in and try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Im in live with the place. Perfect location, far from the noise and traffic of ubud center but close enough to spend hours to reach home if you’re living in ubud center. The view is breathtaking. The service is amazing, the employees are kind, polite, funny, nice….. the food is very tasty. The menu looks Italian but the owner is Australian. It’s one of my favorite places. This place is a gem. Beautiful covered outdoor space overlooking the jungle. While my fiancé and I are both meat eaters, we absolutely loved our vegetarian food. That fact that he- a meat loving Italian - loved the Bolognese is a big deal! My burnt sage gnocchi was so good he got one to go for dinner later. The mushroom dumplings were delightful. THE BEST. The service here was the best service I’ve ever had. The guy who served our table was a true gentleman, this man deserves a pay rise explaining all the different types of meat, and letting us try the wine before we got the bottle. The food itself was to die for. Steak cooked to absolute perfection, veggies incredible and chips so crunchy and tasty. The wine was perfectly chilled and tasted delicious. Honestly if you’re in UBUD and want to go to a fancy restaurant with fantastic service and tasty food this is your place.

I had dinner at Batubara Wood Fire and was pleasantly surprised! At first glance, the place looks like a regular Balinese restaurant, nothing too flashy, but once inside it really gives off a great vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding — full of flavor and beautifully cooked. They specialize in steaks, and I loved that they actually bring the cuts to your table so you can choose exactly what you want before it’s prepared. Such a nice touch! While it’s not the cheapest option in town, the quality of the food and service makes it absolutely worth it. I left completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Bali.

The food was generally good. The steak and wild salmon were excellent cuts of protein. The deep fried eggplant with feta was delicious. The calamari was so so and the grilled vegetables were heavy in oil. The creme brûlée wasn’t good at all. The service wasn’t great because they forgot to punch in our order. We were the second table of the night but recieved our food after the 8th table. However, they did give us the dessert for free. As for the atmosphere. A bit dingy for my liking given the price range.

We found this restaurant to be overrated. We arrived at 5:30pm and were only the second table seated. The staff introduced the specials and steaks, and we placed our order shortly after. However, we ended up waiting a long time for our starter — and even longer for our main course. To our frustration, guests who arrived after us were served before us. We flagged the issue to the staff, but no immediate action was taken. When our main courses finally arrived, one of the staff explained that our order wasn’t printed due to a “printer issue” — a frustrating excuse considering we were among the first customers and there were staff standing around chatting. To be fair, the steak and salmon were cooked beautifully. But the side dishes were underwhelming, and the dessert was just average. Prices were also on the higher side. While they did offer a complimentary dessert as part of service recovery, it didn’t quite make up for the unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, we left disappointed and wouldn’t rush to return.

One of the best steaks I've had! The service was also impeccable 😊 The staff were attentive and constantly checked in on us. Truly a gem! Appetizers: 1. Pulpo A La Brasa; Grilled Octopus with mashed potato & Spanish paprika powder (9/10) - Tender and had a slight char to it. The mashed potato had some truffle in it which elevated the dish so much. Texture of the mash was more on the fluid side which also went well with the dish 2. Seafood Canelon with Parmesan Cheese (7/10) - think lasagna sheet wrapped with seafood and cheesy sauce. It was good but nothing impressive. Mains (amazing/10): We Got The Tenderloin Wagyu MB6 (medium rare) and Picanha Wagyu MB7 (medium). Both cuts were wonderful! Personally prefer the Picanha as it was less lean than the Tenderloin and easier to eat. Sides: 1. Papas Fritas; Handcut French fries with skin on (7/10) - Nothing impressive, exactly what you expect 2. Setas A Plancha; Grilled mushroom with parsley & garlic (6/10) - found this dish to be heavy and a tad too oily, which made the meal quite an overkill. 3. Pimiento Rojos Asados; Roasted (sweet) red peppers (7/10) - exactly what you would expect it to taste. As a whole, steaks were amazing, truffle mash was good and octopus was tender and worth a try (these are probably the few dishes that makes me want to revisit this restaurant!)

Everything from start to end was splendid. Puspita attended to us. She was very pleasant, sweet,attentive and I enjoyed the vibes here. loved their Gambas the olive oil was infused with prawn essence we wiped it clean! We had black Angus and Picanha steak and it was delectable

A nice change from the traditional Balinese food. We had yummy ceviche consisting of fish and seafood. My husband and I both had fish dishes to follow which were both delicious. They just don’t care to be near guests or even do eye contact to see if anyone needs their help. It wasn’t about the table occupied by myself but it’s definitely felt across. Pathetic. Atmosphere is definitely good, service can make it better for sure.

Laughing Buddha is my favourite bar in Ubud! There’s great music and delicious food every night of the week. If you enjoy listening to some of Bali’s best bands and musicians, Buddha is the place. As a solo traveller, I always make new friends every time I visit.

Beautiful cafe with amazing aesthetics in ubud. We arrived early as we were waiting for our driver to reach. Had a quick coffee and turmeric drink with croissant. Everything was great quality . Staff were friendly and we would like to visit again.

Fantastic menu, compliments to the chef- everything we’ve had has been delicious. We work around the corner and Lazy Cats has now became a regular lunch spot , despite not being vegetarians. Have tried 6/7 dishes now and each one has been great. Well priced and great price for a bintang. Playlists always hit. Happy customer :)

It’s such a cute place with a nice interior design. You feel right at home. The summer rolls and tahini sauce were delicious. I had a delicious turmeric and papaya smoothie. I’ll be back to try the other dishes.

Muse Cafe is a hidden gem indeed. The restaurant is located just a few minutes out of the busy city center of Ubud, making it less noisy and you won’t have to worry about breathing in car exhaust while you eat your breaky which is a huge plus. It is a second story, open air restaurant with beautiful views overlooking lovely palm trees. Plenty of sun all day long. They play calming instrumental music and the entire atmosphere of those place is very calming and serene. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend the quinoa porridge with fresh dragonfruit, I had it multiple mornings during my stay in Ubud!

Everything in the menu is so good! Stayed in the villa next door and this was my breakfast spot everyday. Service was fast and staff was very friendly as usual like everyone in Bali.

Loved that the soup was kept warm with a small burner underneath—such a thoughtful touch. Service was warm and welcoming. The 360° view from every seat is absolutely serene, making it easy to relax, even under the midday Ubud sun. Will definitely come back!

We ordered salted egg cassava, but it came as plain cassava. We double-checked with the server, and she said the salted egg was mixed inside. When we asked for extra salted egg sauce on the side, that’s when she apologized, admitting that the chef had forgotten to coat it with salted egg. Overall, the meal tasted good. The pork is highly recommended, but the Tom Yum had a slightly different taste—it was a bit sweet. Still, it’s acceptable since this isn’t a Thai restaurant.

A lot of tourists come here, and the food is worth it—especially the mantau, the fried mantau is quite delicious. The place also has a nice view, perfect for taking pretty photos. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, which is understandable since it’s in Ubud, Bali.

So many places in Ubud are culturally sanitised for, frankly, an offensively arrogant westerner traveller who only wants bland, western style cafes, but Cerita Manisan defies this western intrusion of beautiful Bali by celebrating EVERYTHING that is Indonesia, from the gorgeous 70's Indonesian lounge music, to the use of volcanic indonesian stone wall art, wood carvings, rice fields, EVERYTHING about this place is empathically and lovingly thought out by a team of people who REALLY know what they are doing from the design of spaces, atmosphere, interior design and of course the food and drinks. Sure, you can visit the multitude of westernised, sanitised and culturally disconnected restaurants and bars in Ubud.... But why would you come to indonesia/Bali and ignore the cultural depth this country has to offer? Do yourself a favour and eat and experience Cerita Manisan at night. A depth of culture celebrated. Perfectly executed. The best restaurant I've ever been to. Anywhere.

The space is beautiful for pictures. Pork belly was tender and sauce was super flavourful! The restaurant itself is a walk back behind pison (there are a couple stairs). And there is valet parking.

Partner restaurant with Alaya Hotel. So we had 10% off deal. Honestly food was excellent we went back so many times till we went through most dishes and got bored at the end. Staff was nice and attentive, however, we had to repeat our requests a few times.. Caramelised Pork dish must try - absolutely delicious!!

The entrance is quite dramatic, and you get a nice view with a natural vibe. The service is great, and the cocktails are good. I also love the creative concept of presenting the menu as playing cards which is the nice touch.

The cocktail, suggested as the best seller, was good but nothing extraordinary. The food was just medium. The place itself is quite nice and worth going, although I agree with one review here that says that the music is too loud and would be better just the nature sound on the background.

The walk into the restaurant gave the restaurant a nice aura. The views of nature was eye dropping while you eat. The food was so good. Served in tapas style and you pick what you eat from picking out of a deck of cards. I definitely recommend.

Discover the Hidden Gem: the jungle bar beneath Campuhan Bridge. Shhh.. there is a special spot beneath the Campuhan Bridge in Ubud called The Lair and it is truly magical. Hidden away surrounded by lush tropical greenery and gently serenaded by the river below. Orders are served on a charming deck of cards. The drinks are soooo good. You should try one of each 🤣. The snacks are unique and tasty. It is a maze to find this bar because you will have to go down several steps. While it is not accessible for everyone, this place is absolutely magical! Reservation is highly recommended!

A cocktail bar with a stunning view... Their happy hour is 6 - 8 pm so don't miss out. My only wish was that they could lower the speaker's volume down so we could hear the water fall, it's 10 times better than some regular bar music.

Amazing Hidden Gem Hiding beneath the old bridge under the restuarant. Such a creative menu where they give you a pack of cards (one for food, one for drinks). Hand the waiter the winning selection, and out come Delicous Cocktails and Food! My new favourite place.

The sushi was fresh and tasty, and the hot rolls were really good too. I liked the food a lot, even if the street outside was busy and a bit noisy. Overall, it was still a nice stop worth trying.

We had a pleasant dinner at Kyoka. The food was overall very nice. There are variaties of drinks. Staff were friendly and efficient. They did act very quickly helping each tables.

We had an excellent evening with a very delicious meal and very kind and friendly staff. The manager was so welcoming and fun to talk to, always checking if we're enjoying our meal or need anything. The waiters and bar men were very efficient and friendly even though the restaurant was overbooked and very busy. I strongly recommend this culinary address. For Muslim clients, it has many vegetarian and pescetarien options and you can even enjoy moctails (nonalcoholic cocktails). My advice is to make reservation if you want to get a table, we didn't and we found out on arrival that all tables are booked, they nonetheless proposed to serve us in the bar area, and honestly it was more confortable and pleasant than I thought it would be. Again very beautiful experience and excellent food and service. Thank you so much Kyoka!

An extremely pleasurable dining experience with fantastic cocktails. Had the tuna sashimi, was slightly skeptical when ordering. It came out on ice and was cold and fresh, tuna rolls were delicious and edamame was great to. Can not find a fault here. Thanks for a nice time!

We had the pork gyoza, chicken avo & cucumber sushi, and the pork ramen and it was all very delicious. Best ramen i’ve ever had, broth was amazing and full of many flavours. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Great start walking in to Saint Germaine playing, music sets a lounge scene. The menu boasts Japanese Gin, Whisky, Sake, and ofcourse the cocktails. Not eating here before, I went and over ordered, I regret nothing. It was all delicious!

Wanna Jungle Pool and Bar was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. Their so-called Silver Package is a complete scam. The staff kept telling us where we could and couldn’t go, constantly setting restrictions instead of letting guests relax and enjoy themselves. The prices are ridiculous, and the whole place feels like it’s designed only to take as much money from you as possible. We came expecting a nice day out and left feeling frustrated and cheated. If you value respect, honesty, and good service - do not go there. It’s a total rip-off.

Listen.. if there’s a such thing as designer food this spot would be considered a high end luxury brand. The Indo Fried Rice was exquisite. My only complaint is that I didn’t have more on my plate. The sunset smoothie tasted as incredible as it looked. I was shocked. Perfect proportions within the glass. Definitely coming back. Regrettable the wait staff tested my patience a bit but satisfied my needs before I just picked up and left. I’m really being dramatic. I found this place intuitively and I’m grateful my heart can sense love. The food was filled with it. Chef’s Kiss!!

Food was just outstanding. For appetizer I recommend the ceviche, it's so refreshing, and for main dish the lamb shank. I like the fusion concept, but I dont really agree with the combination of peyek and lamb. As for desert, the lemon tart.

Really enjoyed eating here. The atmosphere was super nice, the staff were friendly, and the vegan dishes were delicious! We enjoyed the sushi and the tacos. The only thing we didn’t like so much was the tempura, it was too oily and didn’t have much taste compared to other tempura I’ve had. But the rest was great!

Amazing atmosphere and vibe here, lighting and colours are impeccable. Banana coconut pancakes and the disco curly fries are delicious, and service is top notch. You need to eat here. When I get home from my trip I'm going to do everything in my power to replicate the Red Brick Chicken Sandwich, it's that good. I went there two days in a row to get it. Our favorite bar in Ubud. One of the only places you can find craft beer above 7% ABV. Food is delicious and cheap. Staff is young and super friendly. We went back 3-4 times during our short stay in Ubud.

A pleasant place with very good food, music, and surroundings. Definitely has that Instagrammable vibe, so perfect if you’re into taking photos. Just a heads-up about the sun – it’s only there until a certain time, and even during the day some spots are already in the shade. Overall, I recommend it, but it’s not exactly mind-blowing.

The food was great, with well-presented dishes that matched the beauty of the surroundings. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the menu offered a good variety for both light bites and full meals. The music added to the vibe — energetic but not overwhelming, setting the perfect tone for relaxing, people-watching, or capturing a few great photos. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great service and always checking in without being intrusive. It’s clear they’re used to catering to both tourists and locals looking for a good time. That said, Omma definitely has its “tourist pricing.” Many of the best experiences — like riding the swings or walking the famous glass bridge — come with additional costs. It’s a little “nickel and dimed” for my taste, but that seems to be part of the setup at popular Bali attractions. Still, the place delivers on beauty, energy, and atmosphere. All in all, Omma Dayclub is absolutely worth visiting for the views, the food, and the overall experience. Whether you’re there to chill with friends, grab a drink with a view, or get that perfect Instagram shot, you’ll have a great time. Just be prepared to pay a little extra for the full experience — and bring your camera, because every corner is a photo op.

We had an amazing experience at OMMA Dayclub Bali! The place is absolutely beautiful — great vibe, perfect location, and stunning views. The food was delicious, fresh and well-presented, and the prices were very reasonable compared to other beach clubs in Bali. What really made our day special was the excellent service — especially from Ade, who was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Cool place to chill out with quite a lot of activities. The waterfall is just fine for the view but too dirty to swim. The food was good in general. However, some dishes with seafood seem to be not fresh

Been to Omma twice and have had an exceptional experience each time! 10/10 food, vibes, service and overall experience. You get whatever you book back in food and beverages credit and it is 100% worth it. Bonus: Mango sticky rice is the best in the world and the sushi is top notch too.

The bar was cute and the waiter and waitress were friendly. There also was live music and the atmosphere was nice. So as a bar I would recommend. But we also ate some beef burgers and they weren‘t good at all. At first I didn‘t like the taste but I still ate a little bit of it (3/4 of the burger). But later I regret, we don‘t know what was wrong with it (maybe the beef wasn‘t good anymore) but we all three got stomach problems after that. If you don‘t want to waste two* days of your holiday on the toilet, I would recommend not eating these burgers. *More like 7 days But all in all I would say getting drinks there is all right.

We really enjoyed dining at this place. There was a live band when we went to eat there. Their prices are really fair and the food was amazing. Its situated along Bisma street and very easy to identify. Their staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I will definitely go for drinks again next time i visit Ubud.

Simple bar with live music and relatively cheap drinks. Tucked away in a quieter street of Ubud. Service is good and fast. They have 1 toilet in the bar. We sat at the quieter end where you can also hear the forest. Didn’t try the food as I read multiple reviews of customers having food poisoning.

Like others have said, a hidden gem. Great, welcoming atmosphere created by both the staff and patrons. As a solo traveler I found it easy to have some nice conversations here. Drink prices are reasonable. Had a cocktail that was well tailored to my taste and a few shots of Arak. All was great! Hope to be back soon.

Fun bar with great cocktails and the best staff! They have some games like cards or darts. It's a relaxed atmosphere with cool decor and sometimes live music. We went there a couple of times during our stay in Ubud and really enjoyed the place and the drinks. Wayang was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The staff are just absolutely lovely. I’m a 20 year old girl, I have never felt safer or more comfortable around bar staff then I have here (special shout out to Wayan for being amazing). My mum was recently in Ubud on her first solo trip and they made her feel so welcome that I had to check them out. She mentioned off hand that her birthday was the next day and they called her down because they had made her a birthday cake. Cannot express enough just how kind and welcoming everyone is. Cocktails are delicious and sneakily strong - the Green Valley is a particular favourite of mine if you have a sweet tooth but Misty Temptations is equally tasty - you can tell how easy they go down by the fact I have no photos of them. Since 2018, I’ve been many times and coming back this year feels like home. I truly love the vibe of LOL with the live music. You should stop and enjoy the vibe.

Service and atmosphere were 10/10. But drinks from the bar were not what they were advertised. Ordered Captin Morgan’s Spiced Rum but out of the 3 drinks I ordered it was definitely not Captain Morgan’s. I argued it when paying the bill and the staff were not willing to cooperate. Definitely mixed the bottles with some other kind of alcohol. Other than that the atmosphere and the live band were great.

I'm not so much a fan of this place. The food is generally unimpressive. The drinks are pricey. They had some live music but nothing special. I supposed it's a little hard if a singer is trying to cover Adele. It attracted a mixed crowd.

We went here on a Sunday night and saw a great live reggae band with a very engaging lead singer! Fun night and big bar area. Enjoyed the music, dancing and atmosphere. The mango mojito is a must!

I was there for the reggae band. The lead singer is mostly Bob Marley with a touch of Sean Paul and the odd slipknot 😅. Everyone is super friendly, staff and patrons alike. You can chill outside in the back, play pool, enjoy the music in the front, and they have a DJ after the band in a separate room. It's very loose, get drunk, dance, have fun. You'll make great memories here!

Found this restaurant quite randomly, and it ended being the best in Ubud. Cocktails were top tier, as was the steak bites. The view was really nice too, the rooftop gives a nice sunny atmosphere and peaceful. Service was perfect too, nothing to say except I will come back for sure 🙏🏼

This place was magnificent, the atmosphere the natural setting surrounding us with a touch of cosiness. Very open and relaxing restaurant and very friendly staff! Just like kaukau the top quality and absolutely delicious taste of the food were undeniable. A bit pricier than kaukau but I can understand why. Completely loved everything we ordered and the deserts were exceptional! Very memorable experience I definitely recommend!

Juggan Sky is an absolute gem. Welcoming complex where every person you pass greets you with a big smile, making you feel instantly at home. Walking through the beautifully designed grounds to reach the rooftop restaurant is a pleasure in itself, surrounded by native flora, elegant fountains, and serene pools. The restaurant features a stylish modern Balinese design, creating a peaceful yet sophisticated atmosphere. I ordered a burrata and tomato salad, which was delicious, though the portion was a bit small, it was satisfying when paired with a refreshing fresh watermelon juice. The real highlight, however, is the staff. From the personalized welcome to their friendly conversations about all sorts of topics, they make the experience truly special. They’re not only attentive and kind but also full of great recommendations about Bali. A fantastic place to visit!

Absolutely stunning rooftop bar in Ubud. Quiet but amazing atmosphere with live music from locals. The staff were incredible - especially Dedox who kindly made a surprise cocktail for me. As a solo traveller I couldn’t have felt more comfortable. Great food too!

We came because of an event of bachata and decided to arrive a bit earlier to eat something, and were very pleased! It’s inside a hotel, so though the quality wouldn’t be as good, but the food was delicious and the service even better! My boyfriend ordered fish by mistake but he doesn’t eat fish. They were very kind and allowed him to change it! He took a lasagna instead which was delicious. I got the salmon that was incredible too. Super recommend.

Juggan Sky rooftop bar is a wonderful spot to sit and relax with a cocktail and watch the sunset. The friendly staff member, Dedox, helped us select some new cocktails to try. All the staff up there were friendly. Great place for food as well as entertainment.

The cocktails (and mocktails) are off the charts and you don't have to pay and arm and a leg to get some of that deliciousness. We also had some really good burgers at Refresh and we particularly enjoyed the live music and the generally chill atmosphere. Gets rather busy at night (we were there around 7-8pm and we could barely find a table for two). Expect a crowd.

The reviewers claiming the food is "great" are 100% delusional. It's very average food and not worth the wait or expense. The drinks were good. The music was way too loud for such a tiny venue. Good for a brief drink or two and then moving on...

O my gosh, everybody who goes here HAS to try the yellow curry. It is the best we have ever eaten. SO good, such a good atmosphere and staff. Liveband, check. Good food, check. Nice staff, check!

Good food, amazing staff, the curry is excellent - probably the best in Bali. But the music is a bit too loud to enjoy it.. It is great music but a tone down and would be the perfect atmosphere.

WHAT A PLACE! When you see it you tend to think: okay yeah, the typical place for having a cocktail at night and nothing more. Believe me: the food is great. I don’t know who is the cook, but the guy has something special. It does not matter what you order: from pasta to burger, nasi goreng or quesadillas, everything is great. My gf and I stayed in Ubud for 5 nights and we came here four times. Give it a chance, trust me.

Everything was fantastic! The lunch menu was amazing, and I felt so full by the end. I really enjoyed the short stories behind each course—they added a nice personal touch. The chef-owner was incredibly friendly, btw he holds two Michelin stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ Totally worth the visit! I loved the mix of salty, sweet, spicy, chunky, and chewy textures. Visited the restaurant and the bar in Aug 2025 Firstly, on the bar, where I had made a reservation before my dinner. The cocktails and the service was fantastic. The Claypot Negroni was one of the best negronis I’ve had this year. Also loved the Zest & Berry cocktail. I would strongly recommend a visit to the bar before or after the dinner reservation. After the drinks, I visited the Syrco Base restaurant. Please note that there are 2 restaurants in the compound, both owned by the same chef (Syrco Base Restaurant and Ku Culinary Atelier). My reservation was at the Syrco Base Restaurant. I went with the tasting menu, but if you want there is an a-la-carte menu too. The tasting menu comprised courses inspired by Bali’s culinary heritage/roots using ingredients which are mostly sourced locally and with a proper focus on sustainability. All in all, the dinner was fantastic with all the dishes having the right flavor profiles, beautiful presentation, and perfect portion sizes. Overall, the evening spent at Syrco Base (bar and restaurant) was a delightful experience for me. I would 100% recommend to anyone going to Bali and looking for a solid fine dining experience.

I had the most magical time at Syrco. From start to finish I was treated like royalty with warmth and kindness. I was seeking an elevated experience to celebrate my birthday and I stumbled upon the location on google. I decided by starting with the cocktail class. My expectations were exceeded. The bar team lead me through the garden where we picked fresh herbs and they explained about their characteristics, tasting and smelling their intricacies. I can go on and on about Aria and Anton, the bar team, and how wonderful they are. We went up to the bar to do the cocktail class and it’s a beautifully designed bar with warmth and class. We made a classic cocktail, a twist on a classic cocktail and then my own creation. After the cocktail class I was lead to the dining room. It is stunning! Fresh, cool colors, with beautiful symmetry and a unique open concept where you get to see the staff prep ingredients. The atmosphere was feminine and elegant. I did the “full experience” which consisted of 5 moments with beverage pairing. All of the food was gorgeous and delicious, and the pairings were elegant and complex. I especially love how they incorporated Balinese culture and paid homage to their purveyors and farmers. Even the pottery and glassware was stunning! I finished with dessert in the upstairs lounge, which has a colorful art gallery vibe. They brought me a beautiful birthday dessert wirh gold leafing and a candle and a unique espresso martini. The whole staff wrote me a postcard wishing me a happy birthday. The chef even came out to say hi! My heart is very full and I can’t wait to tell everyone about my wonderful experience here. Thank you so much for making an unforgettable experience I will never forget and carry with me.

We recently went to Syrco and did the Sambal cooking class followed by a lovely dinner. Overall the experience was wonderful and I can highly recommend doing the sambal cooking class. Shout out to Steven who was fantastic! The food at the Syrco was absolutely delicious. Attention to detail, well presented and super friendly staff made for a very memorable experience. Perfect way to spend my mothers 60th.

One of the best dining experiences in bali. The food was great and tasty. Surprisingly full. Wine paring was good but non alcoholic paring was something i never experienced before. Had a great time there.

Truly amazing experience. From start to finish the staff was very sweet and explained a lot about their cocktails, dishes and where all their products came from. The full menu is a lot of food, so you will absolutely not leave hungry. The flavour combinations were so tasty and sometimes surprising and each course looked stunning too.
