All Saints Church in Northampton is a stunning 17th-century Anglican church that showcases exquisite plasterwork ceilings and serves as a vibrant venue for both worship services and musical events. Originally, the site was home to a medieval church that tragically burned down in 1675, leaving behind only its ancient crypt and central tower.
A great place of worship with great history. The interior is clean and well looked after. There’s a plenty of informative literature and information on the notice board is clear and concise. The exterior historic building is very well maintained.

One of the Thousand. The ornate architecture outside is matched by that inside. This is a celebration and a joy. Sometimes looking like a music hall and court of law, the church is well maintained and likely serves many purposes. Look out for the secret in the wardrobe.

A place that's open to all especially the Homeless. It has a good Relaxing spot where you can sit down and have a view of the busy area of Drapery.
Japheth N — Google review
What a beautiful church and such a warm welcome from the ladies who were polishing the pews when we ventured inside. There is a lovely coffee shop attached to the church too. Somewhere peaceful to grab a coffee and perhaps a piece of cake.
Marian R — Google review
It is much more impressive inside in comparison to rather underwhelming outside. There's cafeteria, few stands to light a candle (although free, 50p donation recommended). It's free to enter, we were the only visitors on Saturday morning.
Artūras K — Google review
Beautiful architecture and free entrance. While it was super hot outside, it was very cool inside. This is shows how sustainable are the old building.

I go with a friend on a Tuesday morning 10am - 12.00pm. It is absolutely fantastic. For a donation you are offered snacks and drinks for the children and there are lots of toys set up for the children go explore. The last 30 minutes of the session, everyone helps to today up and then we do some singing. It is a very welcoming and friendly place.

Me and my oldest son attended a play group in the St Giles Church Center a few years ago. I still remember the very friendly stuff and I am grateful to them.
Tatiana P — Google review
Such a lovely place to be there. Singing in summer 2019 in it was amazing! A great acoustic and a big concert with over 160 choristers, in June 2019, a pity, if you missed it... Look for Northampton Male Voice Choir, Englands biggest and famous Male Voice Choir - take a look on their website, maybe you'll get them anytime (-:

Biased as a member of the congregation always welcoming a great place for all of us imperfect people... if you feel perfect then sorry it is definitely a place to grow in. Steve is a God inspired minister to the congregation. We come from all over the town and county

Beautiful church in the centre of Northampton. Historic and still in use. An oasis of tranquility in the centre of a busy town. Nice grounds, with benches to sit down and reflect.
Lee W — Google review
St. Giles Church is situated at the hospital end and bordered by St. Giles Street and Abington Road, and St. Giles Terrace. Its grounds are a haven of shade and greenery and gives shelter to a lot of the less fortunate souls of Northampton. Built from the beautiful Northampton orange stone, its a beautiful building architecture.

A beautiful place. The park is very small, but in this park you can see a lot of funny squirrel. If you are in Northampton and you have any 5 free minutes, you need to visit this park.

Positioned on a hill overlooking the quaint village and river, this Church of England boasts impressive architecture with a large arched window at the front entrance. Church of England with character. Quite large church hall. Really small car park at the side entrance. Looks good in the summer. Beautiful large Arched Window front entrance and disabled side door and back entrance.

Awful Covid vaccination service…..booked and made an appointment for two children, arrived and clinic was closed. Apparently only open on Tuesdays and Saturdays although you can still book any day online and Covid call centre are clear it is open daily. Lots of parents and children turning up, all with appointments, and finally got hold of someone and was told, appointment list was clear, no one had booked an appointment (even though there was reams of people there with confirmation of appointment along with myself) Madness and completely shambolic. Just glad there was a pharmacy reasonably nearby with children’s walk in appts. Thankfully a fellow parent was able to direct me when Covid call centre and people who run this clinic weren’t able to help in anyway at all.

The St Peter's Church in Northampton, England is an imposing Norman church made from stone and wood. The church features some of the most impressive carvings in the county, including a beautiful capital sculpture of a dragon. Often considered as 'the most outstanding Norman church in the county' (Northamptonshire), St Peter's Church is steeped in history.
Absolutely a fabulous church with amazing architecture and stained glass windows. Well worth a visit if you get the chance to.

Didn’t see inside as was closed on a Saturday. Might be doin it up. Incredible carving and remaining detail across most faces and doorways. Free parking in a Sat nearby.

Stunning Romanesque features in a 12th century building. Excellent Norman stonework, incredibly intricate capitals and archway. A hidden gem
Jenna K — Google review
A well preserved Morman Church dating from 1170 and built by the Earl of Northampton. Built on an earlier Saxon site dating from around 500- 650 AD. This whole area was also a Danish settlement and an important town for them. This must have had connection to the now lost Northampton Castle, which is the present site of Northampton Station. It was closed the day I visited so could only gauge from the outside. Built using the warm orange Northants quarried stone.
Sid O — Google review
A beautiful church to distract from an otherwise mainly uneventful walk from the town centre to the train station.
Phil H — Google review
Beautiful place. The coffee shop that is inside is very nice. Prices reasonable too. The church itself is well worth a look. So pretty in the middle of the town. Also sounds fantastic if you are lucky enough to hear the bells ringing.
Karen G — Google review
The rich detailed sculpture on the capitals makes it of national importance. The churchyard is the final resting place of William Smith, ‘Father of English Geology’. This is truly a place that Heritage visitors must see. One visit will not be enough. St Peter’s is the finest 12th century Norman church in the County. So says Pevsner and the Corpus of Romanesque Buildings. #northampton

Friendly church with (most weeks) the choice of a more traditional service or a very informal service at the same time (10 30), other weeks is a joint service with a bit of both. Child friendly with some time together & usually some separate children's activities. Lots of stuff going on in the week too. Check their website or Facebook feed for details. I'm not quite sure how you review a church. I went to see a display they had put on about the men from the village who died during WW1, having an interest in the subject and being co-author of The lost Sons of Wall Heath and Kingswinford. Excuse the plug but we still have books to sell. It was a good display and the congregation seemed very nice.

With four generously sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, and ample storage space, residents enjoy both privacy and convenience. The property is equipped with modern amenities such as a dishwasher and features a lovely garden with easy-to-maintain astroturfing.
The house was great for all of our needs! Lovely decoration, and the garden was great (loved having a bench!) Richard himself was amazing, he was easy to contact if we ever had any problems, and was quick to respond to them as well. When we signed on he made sure that we understood what the contract meant and answered any questions we had. A great landlord with great properties, perfect for students!

Richard has been such a great landlord. He’s really helpful, easy to talk to, and always quick to sort out any issues. It made such a difference during our final year at uni knowing the house was in good hands. From the start, he explained everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable with the contract. Whenever we had a problem, he got it sorted quickly and without any hassle. This has honestly been my best experience renting. I’d definitely recommend him.
Mya D — Google review
Richard is a very reasonable, helpful, attentive and proactive landlord. My housemates and I found him a pleasure to deal with and it made our final year at uni much easier knowing that our home was safe, comfortable and well looked after

A modern and well decorated house that is well fit for student living. The communal spaces are spacious and very functional. Many extra amenities that you don’t usually see in student housing like a dishwasher and two bathrooms for 4 people. Lovely garden with astroturfing making it easy to maintain. Overall it is an excellent and very functional house! Richard is a wonderful landlord. He made sure the property was maintained regarding repairs or external cleaning. Furthermore he is patient and understanding, making sure all aspects of the house & renting are explained in detail and answering questions as and when needed. Would definitely recommend this property or any other property under Richard!
Bee C — Google review
Extremely happy with Rich Lees accomdation. The house was beautifully decorated and clean to a high standard. I rented Richards 4 bedroom properties which has two shower rooms, giving us plenty of privacy. The rooms were great sizes each with a nice sized desk & storage *plenty of storage* The house was just super cosy, felt like a home not a university accommodation. Richard frequently checked up on our wellbeing, making sure we were okay and if work needed to be done on the house. He is very organised made it very clear that if any of us residence needed anything - he'd be happy to help, which he was ( even as simple as you wanted a photo put on the wall ) I couldn't have asked for a better landlord, especially during the pandemic, he has gone above and beyond. Would highly highly recommend,

St. Mary Magdalene Church is located in the picturesque village of Castle Ashby, next to the impressive Castle Ashby House. The church was mainly designed by the renowned architect Edward Blore following Lady Northampton's passing in 1843. It holds a rich history, with notable figures such as Benjamin Franklin's relatives resting in its churchyard, including his 10th great grandfather who served as the rector during the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
I discovered that my 10th great grandfather Nicholas Baynes was rector of the church from 1591 to 1611.

During those two days, Steve coped with an old, mostly blind and deaf dog, an energetic three year old, and whirlwind 7 year old (and the home owners tearing the hair out from aforementioned dog and kids) without batting an eyelid. Worked around us, was never in the way, and made sure we could still do our bits around the house as best as possible. Clean, tidy, polite, friendly, hard working and thoroughly professional. The work he has done has transformed the house, and I cannot find fault. Absolutely spot on. Thanks Steve, absolute star and will be back to do upstairs next.

His intuitive and gifted approach to therapy has left clients feeling at ease and would recommend his services to anyone seeking treatment.
I have received both shiatsu and craniosacral treatments from Rob. Both were extraordinary experiences, particularly the cranial work. Rob is extremely professional and I felt as though I was in very safe hands. I'd had some stiffness in my neck (for no apparent reason) and the shiatsu helped me with that. Similarly, the cranial work helped to relieve stress and tension that had built up from daily rigors of a busy lifestyle. This was a deeply relaxing treatment. I've honestly never felt anything like it before! I've had a few treatments now. Rob seems to understand me perfectly and holds the space impeccably. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.

Northampton Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Church of St Mary and St Thomas, is a significant Catholic cathedral in Northampton, United Kingdom. It was built in the 19th century on the site of an earlier medieval church and holds historical importance dating back to the 1829 Catholic Emancipation Act. The Gothic Revival architecture features impressive stained glass installations and arches that create a serene atmosphere for worship and reflection.
A truly beautiful place to photograph a wedding! Northampton Cathedral has stunning architecture and a peaceful, spiritual atmosphere. As a photographer, the lighting and details inside made for amazing ceremony photos. Always a joy to shoot here! Highly recommend it. 🙏

Even though this is a cathedral but it's smaller in size, architecture is basic, overall facilities are not like cathedral at all. To me it's more like a church which is bit bigger in size. It's not one of the main highlight to see, but good to visit. Interior is simple and peaceful. They do have limited parking space. So if you are visiting on Sunday make sure you plan it accordingly.
Prashant S — Google review
This is a place of worship and some of the reviews here are not relevant. When attending mass we go there for Jesus Christ not for the colour of the building or how big it is or how warm it is. Much focus is needed on God not all the artwork. This is my local Cathedral and the Lord is ever present at work in his Church, comments about how old the architecture is and all sorts is and about monetary items is not right if you are looking for some place to view then go to a museum the Cathedral is a place of worship please remember that and about parking well people are desperate to get in so sometimes it’s busy so what arrive earlier it’s simple. I love the Catholic Cathedral the church is a place of peace, love, forgiveness all the goodness the Lord offers in his presence are there.
T ! — Google review
Organization of the cathedral for First Holy Communion. Very unorganized management. The women who were there were very redheads, the children were stressed out, the parents were very disappointed with how we were treated by the management. We asked if we could bring a candle for the child to the First Holy Communion, because it is a custom in the Christian Church, the lady replied that it was a "Polish tradition" to bring candles to the consecration that there were no such customs in the cathedral. I was shocked when she said it, it does not matter if you come from Poland, Lithuania, Romania or another country, it is the Christian Church and the rules are the same. In my opinion, preparing a child for the sacraments is very unsatisfactory because I do not feel comfortable here. I wanted children to have good memories because it's their day, but unfortunately history likes to repeat itself and the older staff should be more nice and caring, because with this behavior they deter people who come to pray to God.
Muminek260 S — Google review
The Cathedral is beautiful inside and out with a lovely garden. It has a large car park at the front of the Cathedral with plenty of spaces to park. The excellent toilet facilities are also located in the car park. It was my very first visit to the Cathedral.

I am so pleased to have visited the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate and St Thomas of Canterbury today . I found it to be a very pleasant and peaceful experience a break from the mad world we live in today . The staff I spoke to were very nice and Cafe 1850 next door was great . It has links to three heroes of mine, St Thomas of Canterbury , from my old stomping ground , St Felix from my present, and the indomitable Augustus Welby Pugin . Not meaning to exclude the obvious of course, I don't wish to be struck down just yet . Firstly built as a small chapel in 1825 with materials from the old St Andrews Priory which formerly owned the land . In 1844/45 a Cathedral nave was built by A.W.Pugin the man himself who dedicated it to St Felix . Felix of Burgundy or of Dunwich, whichever you prefer was the first Bishop of the East Angles reportedly . This was later added to by Augustus's son Edward . It was extended even further in 1959 designed by A Herbert and again later . Some may say Pugin designs are an acquired taste well I love them all . Inside Northampton Cathedral is airy, and bright with a fantastic wooden beamed roof . You will also find some lovely stained glass windows and a great statue of Thomas of Canterbury himself ! Not forgetting the one of Our Lady of course as said previously I don't wish to be struck down today . The grounds outside are rather small but certainly beautiful . I loved the carved wooden Crucifix and a beautiful memorial garden . I shall have to try and return in spring . I certainly enjoyed my visit and got to say a prayer for Mum and Dad R.I.P. Oh yes I kind of wondered what that strange watch tower in the roof was ?

The Holy Sepulchre in Northampton is a historic and iconic place of worship, dating back to the 12th century. It is one of only four Norman round churches in England and was inspired by Jerusalem's Holy Sepulchre. The church has undergone extensions over time, which some purists may not appreciate, but these additions have allowed for the inclusion of numerous plaques that tell the story of the County Regiment and its sacrifices.
What a hidden gem right in the heart of Northampton. The volunteers were friendly and helpful and the architecture was absolutely stunning! Definitely recommended

We visited yesterday and were amazed at the amount of history in this beautiful church. Although it's a very rare round church, it remains true to its local roots, representing and celebrating the history and people of Northampton over the centuries. The mix of architecture and design is simply breathtaking, and the stained glass windows are stunning. A peaceful place to reflect...... Very helpful guides too, who clearly love their church. We were offered a guided tour, but we opted to wander round on our own, with a self guide leaflet. The guides were on hand for any questions. A lovely way to spend 30-60 mins.

My friend and I were brought up with this church as our church After being born on 1946 and 1947 respectively we were both. Christened there. Attended Sunday school there. Got married there and saw many family and friends funerals there including siblings and parents. Happy and sad times. We decided to visit central northampton to reminisce. This beautiful church was first port of call and so pleased it was. From the minute we walked in we were transported back to childhood. The interior has retained its calm peaceful serenity. The only thing missing is the regimental flags but some of these are buried beneath the renovated floor. The stained glass windows are still as beautiful and the highly polished pews brought back so many memories. Well worth a visit to wallow in history and emotional memories.

Large Church of England church celebrating its 130th anniversary this year. It has numerous services in a traditional sense (high-Anglican). It has a very strong musical tradition and an exceptional choir led by a musical director. It has a refurbished pipe organ made in 1895 that has a beautiful sound. One of the latest musical events featured a theremin and Ondes Martenot.
