Pub
Restaurant
The Britannia is a charming pub restaurant located alongside the picturesque River Nene in Northampton. With its rustic tables, panelled walls, and ceiling beams, it offers a cozy and historic atmosphere. The large riverside terrace provides an ideal setting to relax and watch narrow boats passing by on the canalized part of the river. The menu features traditional pub food, including options for children, complemented by a wide selection of drinks such as fine wines and cask ales.
On an autumnal day (or in fact any day), Britannia is a lovely pub. It's warm and cosy. The food is delicious. My favourite Sunday roast is the 7 hour slow roast rib of beef. It reminds me of Greek kleftiko slow cooked meat. The service is always good, Clayton and his team always makes you feel welcome.

Really nice place with terrace next to river. Plenty of seating inside and plenty outside, but on weekends have to book in advance. Free parking, but have to register otherwise will get penalty. Food was nice, we really enjoyed. Recommend
Hey H — Google review
We met up with a large party of friends. Bar staff were on point, keeping everyone supplied. My dish was delightful, my husbands a bit dry. From yhr outside you wouldn't know there is a beautiful setting right by the river with outdoor seating
Hersha C — Google review
Nice spot, good service from staff. Reasonable prices. Shame half the menu is unavailable at midday on Wednesdays, due to the fact their key ingredient delivery bizarrely arrives during lunch service on that day
L — Google review
I honestly don't know what people are moaning about. We pulled up on the boat. Free of charge And were greeted with great hospitality. We had the best cider and food was delicious the fish and chips was the best ever fish was nice and thick. Chips were awesome cooked perfectly home made tarter sauce hot. Butter to melt over extra crusty bread. My cheese and chicken leak pie was hand made cooked in an oven skillet pan , beautiful and ate outside before falling asleep on the boat woke up had cappachino and cooked breakfast. Claiton was lovely my cappachino was taken to a sunny table in the garden. Best experience ever.
VNP T — Google review
It’s a real shame because the pub itself has a lovely atmosphere and the front-of-house staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food was genuinely awful – tasteless, poorly cooked, and looked like it had been thrown together without any care. It’s clear the kitchen staff couldn’t care less about what they’re serving. And to add insult to injury, the prices are outrageous for what you get. You’re paying restaurant prices for food that wouldn’t pass at a motorway service station. I’ve no idea how they justify the cost when the effort simply isn’t there. Total rip-off. I won’t be back, and I’d strongly advise others to think twice before wasting their money here. PS: Glasses never get collected for hours. And my kids tried to walk on the patio barefoot and I panicked and told them not to after I spotted broken glass on the ground. It's just.... gross here guys.

There were 12 people in our group out for sunday lunch to celebrate 2 of the groups birthdays and we must say the service, food and atmosphere at the Brittania was great. Our waiter Sam was friendly, efficient and a credit to this pub/restaurant. Well done Sam keep up the good work. Thank you for looking after us so well.

The staff are always friendly and more than willing to help. Food does not disappoint. Noise level of other guests and music is very low, so makes for easy conversations. Alex was especially friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Pub
Restaurant
Nestled in the charming village of Wooton, Northampton, The Queen Eleanor is a delightful 17th-century pub that offers a cozy atmosphere and classic comfort food. This inviting establishment sits right across from one of the most remarkable surviving Eleanor Crosses, which commemorates Queen Eleanor's journey in 1290. With its traditional bar and lounge area, it’s perfect for families looking to enjoy a meal together.
Another Sunday lunch at the Elly, same great experience. Unbeatable for value (£11 ea, including a pint). Friendly, smiling staff, prompt service, hot food (plenty of it), great roasted spuds and lovely thick gravy. These guys have it nailed. Thanks!
Andrew N — Google review
I am staying at a local hotel and this venue is handy due to location. The staff are friendly and the food has been very good and arrives promptly even when busy. It is highly popular with senior customers and has a generally good feel although the furniture and decor are very tired indeed with most seating heavily stained.

Best meal I've had in ages. Team were run off feet but service was speedy. Food was hot and fresh and they were friendly and smiling. What more could you ask for

We came for Sunday roast, my God the size of the portions were huge, eyes definitely bigger than our belly's. was lovely what we managed to eat 😋 service was great and it's a lovely atmosphere. highly recommend thank you

Breakfast with Easter Bunny was amazing. Staff are all very friendly and the food was delicious. Thank you to Easter Bunny and all staff from Sunday! My daughter loved it

We were staying at the local hotel so booked to come here for dinner . My daughter has several food allergies & the staff were really helpful with checking foods / packaging & allergens to ensure she could have a safe meal . The food came quickly , was hot , generous portions & it was good value for money. There was plenty of choice on the menus & there was plenty of choice of tables inside . It’s got a great park area for the children and outside tables . The staff were really friendly , attentive & helpful . Would definitely recommend and return
Joanna C — Google review
I went with friends for an early dinner and as usual with all hungry horse restaurants, the food was great. Only reason a star was dropped was because of the cleanliness, it wasn't busy and their was plenty of staff but our table outside took 2 attempts of me asking someone to come and clean it after the last customers. Food great, drinks cold
Gary F — Google review
The Queen Eleanor is a standard pub and grub establishment and a branch of Hungry Horse pubs and restaurants and a subsidiary of the Greene King pub group. I visited with my family and we were very happy with our experience. It wasn't too busy when we were there at about 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon during half-term. A table had just been cleaned and we were able to sit and choose our food before going to the bar and ordering it although it is possible to order and pay on their app meaning you don't need to leave your table at all which is great for busier times or if you are eating on your own. The food came within a reasonable period of time. It was exactly what we ordered and it was hot and tasty. We were able to make use of some good deals which meant that eating here, even including alcoholic drinks, was for us about the same or even less than going to McDonalds. The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilets were clean and presentable. There is a decent sized carpark. Also there is a children's play area but we didn't use this. All in all it was a good experience and I would happily return if I were in the area again. My only criticisms are minor. When we arrived there were a lot of used lunchtime crockery across tables but that was in the process of being cleared. Also the place looks like it could do with being given a bit of a revamp but in reality that is an unnecessary expense that would have to passed on to the customer.

Pub
Restaurant
Quays - Pub & Carvery is a chain pub and restaurant offering classic comfort food, including kids' and dessert menus. The indoor 'Wacky Warehouse' provides excellent play facilities for younger family members. The pub features a decent-sized carvery and offers good prices with plenty of space, including a large deck by the marina for warmer days. Some menu items may be unavailable at times, but the food is served promptly.
Originally planned to stay for a night. Keep extending it and now on my 5th night. Great location, fantastic rooms. Staff are brilliant. Receptionists really helpful. A big shout to Caz and Ray for breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly and delivered a very timely breakfast which is well worth the money. Highly recommend. A big well done to Greene King for bringing on board some great staff to compliment the stay.

Stopped by today with my children for some dinner, very friendly and welcoming. Staff lovely and efficient. Ordered drinks and food through the app with no issues. I had the carvery and wow, I can honestly say it’s the best carvery I have ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection, exceptionally good, I really do recommend. The kids portion, chicken nuggets chips and beans was a good size and went down a treat. My daughter went for the mini mixed grill and was also very impressed. In fact it was that good, we tucked straight in without even thinking about taking photos for a review! We will definitely be returning, thank you guys keep up the good work :)

Kaz was an absolute delight. Made us feel so welcome, took our order, nothing was too much. The food was nice and warm, not an overbearing amount of food and so nice to be able to get up and down and grab extra continental bits as we pleased! Everything was cooked perfectly and came out nice and warm. Absolutely recommend breakfast here!
Laura P — Google review
Sharing here so I can hopefully save some people from the same fate as I suffered. BE AWARE the car park is controlled by Euro car parks & you will be fined if you don’t pay for parking. There is apparently a sign at the entrance but I must have missed it. I was with my elderly mother & concentrating on getting her in to the restaurant safely. Food & service are perfectly adequate at this place but it’s an expensive meal out once you add the £100 fine.
Emily T — Google review
Wonderful stay here for the night with my family. Great location, beautiful view and well looked after with the staff. Kaz was a wonderful host over our breakfast, which was spot on. Made sure we all had a great stay. Would recommend this place to all and definitely return in the future. Hopefully next time we will time it for the annual dragon boat race
Gurvinder D — Google review
A lovely stay – once again! This was my second time staying here for business, and just like before, it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is so welcoming, the rooms are lovely, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. A special thanks to Kaz and Ray from the breakfast crew for starting each morning off with great service and good vibes – and of course, to crazy Jen for her energy and amazing hospitality. The lake at the back and the surrounding scenery really make this place stand out – peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. Can’t wait for the next stay!
Aaron C — Google review
Fantastic service, fresh & food hot. Only gripe was the very slow toaster BUT this is something out of the control of the staff. Restaurant is clean & tidy and staff very attentive. Kaz very friendly and knowledgeable. Pub is located next to Billing Aquadrome and so this was very convenient and accessible this week.
Grant R — Google review
Was ok until I was accused by the bar staff of being rude after waiting 25 minutes to be served to order dessert. 3 people were deliberately served before me after only just arriving. Then when finally getting served being told that I was rude for waving a menu at them ( which never actually lifted off the bar). I subsequently told them what I thought of them and walked to my table fuming. The manager then proceeds to tell me to leave. So I insisted on a refund which the manager kindly agreed to. So family meal ruined. Would never return to this place even if they were giving away Michelin star food for free. The bar staff are disgusting abusive arrogant and other things that to be honest should be reported to the police. I have never ever left a review before but this place has provoked a response from a normally chilled and relaxed individual. If you are ever unfortunate enough to frequent this place and encounter problems with the bar staff report it to the manager immediately before they make up a cock and bull story to cover their own inadequacy. The truth is they are abusive amongst many other things.

Brampton Halt is a charming country pub situated in the village of Chapel Brampton, Northamptonshire. Housed in an old stationmaster's residence built in 1859, it offers a cozy ambiance with wood burners, dining areas, and terrace tables overlooking a picturesque lake and countryside. The pub's outdoor decked spaces are adorned with twinkling fairy lights and themed dining booths that provide a unique dining experience.
It was my 77th birthday and we were made to feel as if we were the only people in the restaurant that mattered. The staff were so good at what they do and really attentive. Despite it being a busy night for them, they managed to get around to everyone and serve them with their meals. Absolutely fantastic. I asked my husband to go and thank the Chef personally for the wonderful food that we had. All three of us had different meals and they were all top draw. Thank you again for making my birthday so special. On top of which, when the deserts came out, mine had a personalised message and a candle. You all made me feel like I was a young girl again. A very special mention for Louise who really did make my experience memorable. Thank you.

Travelled from Glasgow Scotland for a course at the equestrian college and found The Brampton hall pub next to our hotel and what a diamond find it was!! 10 outta 10 outta 10 on all levels! Amazing food both night we ate here. Sunday roast was incredible, best we have ever had!! Louise was also a great member of staff, great laugh and looked after us above & beyond. We will most certainly be back again for a Sunday roast! Thank you guys 🍻😍

Quaint pub you could easily drive pass, but don't Lots of outdoor seating and pond Staff work hard to look after you. 4 star for food because my noodle dish was sweet, and the mango desert was OK Good selection of wines and beers.

This was my first visit and I had a lovely breakfast. I had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Royale and my friend had the breakfast sandwich. There was a generous amount of salmon, the sauce was lovely and the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed it. I also had a pot of tea which gave me about 3 cups worth, and was served with milk, sugar, and a lotus biscoff biscuit. My total bill was £16.30 which I thought was reasonable. My friend's sandwich was huge for the £8 price and she said everything in it was great. Will definitely be back for breakfast and perhaps also to try their main dinner menu

Myself and my brother came for a meal. Weve not been here for many years. What can i say, the food was of a very good quality and high standard (wasnt keen on the spinach, 1st time of having it, would have preferred peas or sweetcorn)The Eton Mess was divine. The staff were friendly and professional. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience
Lisa S — Google review
Lovely place, only discovered it last week and been twice, lovely setting, plenty of outside space with lovely lights around , delicious food and evening entertainment was great, staff are friendly and very helpful, definitely one of my new favourite places to meet up with friends
Marie L — Google review
Just recently we have brought friends here twice and can honestly say on both occasions we have had a really good time. Our groups were both 55 years plus, but there were all age groups enjoying a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable greeting you with smiles and eye contact. The food both visits was extremely good, my husband says the lamb was delicious. Portions and variety of menu are good and the prices are reasonable for the standard of food you are getting. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
Pauline H — Google review
We have visited the halt for years on occasion and very rarely choose to eat out for a Sunday dinner. Unfortunately the food was just not very nice upon our visit today, we were waiting a very long time and had 2 children in tow, too. The cauliflower cheese came out first before any of the food (roast), 10 minutes later the adult mains arrived and in this time the cauliflower cheese had gone cold and again, we were waiting on the children's food.. when it eventually arrived they'd got the order completely wrong- bringing chicken instead of fish ( we do not eat chicken). Waitress had said we said chicken, none of us eat chicken so this is not possible. The manager offered to take the chicken off and replace it with fish- we are vegetarian so wouldn't want to eat from something that had just had chicken sitting on it. Eventually we all had our food in front of us and tried to start to enjoy the food and my daughter found not one but two hairs on her dinner embedded in the fish fingers. At this point we had quite simply just had enough. £105 later and none of us felt happy with the food. Young waitress seemed lovely and she tried her best but unfortunately got our order wrong. Manager stated she would take the kids meal off of the bill but hadn't informed the staff at the bar so we ended up paying it anyway. I really really hope this is a one off because this is so disappointing to leave feedback like this but unfortunately we wont be returning for food.

The Lumbertubs is a popular British pub that is part of the Greene King chain, known for its traditional atmosphere and showing sports on TV. With over 3,000 pubs across the country, this particular location stands out for its food deals and welcoming environment. Visitors have praised the accommodating staff and delicious menu offerings, including steaks cooked to perfection and an Epic Chocolate Sundae that comes highly recommended.
Cannot fault this pub! Food is well prepared and quick to be served to table after ordering. All staff are absolutely brilliant and friendly, going beyond to ensure you have a good time whilst there. Our son just had another birthday meal with family here as they always make it special for him, and happily bring out his cake with candle singing happy birthday to him. We have never had a bad experience here and are happy to return time and time again!

This a big place with plenty of seating. There is a area in side where you can watch sport and feels like a pub pub and a food pub if you get my meaning. There is a nice outside area in the sun There is wide choice of food to pick from and a good selection of drinks on the bar The food was nice and plenty of taste The Sunday roast was disappointing a Sunday roast without mashed potatoes or even new potatoes, no cauliflower and no stuffing even tho it's says it comes with it
Lee F — Google review
I have rated 4 stars only because I have had better food when comparing Lumbertubs to other similar establishments. Still a great place to go. Its really one of those go to places. A place you will bound to get a table, seat, dinner, drink and a good place to catch up with friends and family when they drop by without informing you beforehand. Staff are great. There is an app which you can download beforehand so you can what's on offer before you go. Once there enter you table number, order and pay via the app. Some great offers during the week. Enjoy your time there.

Went for dinner by myself after work and it was truly so comfortable. Sally working there made sure to ask me how everything is going and made sure I was happy with my food. Sally made me truly comfortable having my dinner there even if I was by myself. Sam helped me out when I needed to change something and was genuine and happy to help. And the drinks were nice made by Luke. The amazing people working there made my experience amazing!!

And a very long wait this is not the staffs fault this is Management problem . Staff where brilliant. This is my opinion I have no idea what my uncle is going to say. We are coming back in November for my nans birthday party hope the food is better
Linda K — Google review
We went out for a drink and a meal tonight, safe to say we left disappointed… We walked in and weren’t greeted whatsoever, as we hadn’t booked we weren’t sure whether we could just sit at a table. I went to the bar and asked only to receive no help at all. The woman I spoke to was miserable and dismissive, I asked if I could sit anywhere and all she asked me was “for how many” with a disgusted look on her face. No greeting. I explained for two and she said she wasn’t sure because there was a few bookings, that was it. She didn’t double check, she didn’t try and help or even get somebody who could help, and dismissed me and called out to whoever was next behind me. It already wasn’t off to a great start. We then decided to sit outside - cold - as nobody would help us find a table inside. We had ordered on the app and the same woman at the bar served our drinks, and again, was very rude and dismissive, immediately said “ID’s” and nothing else with such an attitude when all we did was smile and try and interact with her in a friendly way, and then left. Honestly, we were appalled at her customer service as it seemed as though she couldn’t have cared less about us, definitely seems like she may be in the wrong line of work as she does not seem to like her job at all, or other people at that. The man with the glasses who served our food however, was absolutely lovely, I had messed up my order on the app by accident and he was very accommodating and lovely about the whole thing even though it was my fault, I can’t fault him whatsoever! The food was really disappointing, I had the mixed grill, ordered my steak to be medium and received it well done and dry, as well as the chicken, it just was not enjoyable whatsoever. It definitely was not worth the trip out and the money, the people there are rude and cold and like I said, should be in another line of work as their attitudes and customer service was absolutely appalling and this business should be ashamed at their staff considering I believe I’ve already seen a few reviews about her yet nothing seems to have changed (all apart from the gentleman that server us, I cannot sing his praises enough!) But overall, waste of time, waste of money, and the pub should be ashamed and disappointed with their staff.

The Trumpet in is a popular pub with a diverse menu that includes pies and fajitas, as well as pool tables and sports TV. The food is generally good, although it can be rather standard frozen cooked food. The atmosphere is friendly and the music at the Sunday jam session is great, with excellent performers. All are welcome to join in!
Went for Christmas meal 21st dec with friends. The food was lovely and hot and my vegan option was very tasty. One of the best Xmas dinners I have had. All the staff were friendly and helpful and lovely atmosphere with the decorations. Will definitely go back next year.

It was a quiet evening when we went to The Trumpet but the food and drinks were wonderful. Would recommend. My husband had the mixed grill, which he really enjoyed, followed by the jam roly poly which he said was delicious. I ordered the katsu chicken curry which was very tasty, followed by the vegan lava cookie which was okay. We ordered the rosemary fries as extra but they didn't taste of rosemary at all, just salty.

I recently visited The Trumpet pub in Northampton and had an amazing experience, thanks to Faith's excellent service. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home with her friendly and welcoming attitude. Faith was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her knowledge of the menu and drink selections was impressive, and her recommendations were spot on. Faith's professionalism and warm demeanor truly made our visit special. I highly recommend stopping by The Trumpet and experiencing Faith's top-notch service for yourself!

I come to The Trumpet quite regularly and overall really enjoy it. Most of the staff are genuinely lovely — especially the two ladies who usually serve me. They’re always friendly, attentive, and make the experience feel welcoming every time. However, I have to be honest and say that there’s one member of staff who really lets the place down. She comes across as rude and quite ignorant — no smile, no manners, and often rolls her eyes after dropping off drinks to the table, which makes the atmosphere feel awkward. It’s disappointing when the rest of the team are so great. Still, I do enjoy coming here and appreciate the good service I usually receive. Just hoping for a bit more consistency in how customers are treated.

They couldn't have done more for us during this Lions season! Opened early, amazing breakfasts, we ended up bringing 25 on a Saturday morning. Absolutely brilliant landlady and landlord! They've been here 8 years and not leaving- this pub is becoming a hidden gem!

Pub
Whyte Melville is a charming family-owned village pub located in Boughton, just outside Northampton. The pub offers a modern atmosphere while maintaining its traditional roots. Its seasonal menu features fresh produce and is complemented by a well-stocked bar offering premium spirits, cask ales, craft lagers, beers, ciders, and an exquisite wine selection from various regions.
We visited Friday 630pm with my family 5 adults and our grandchildren 3 young children 8, 6 and 1. I normally don't review but after reading re the children not made welcome and Jeremy rudeness I had to add balance. Jeremy welcomed us like old friends (I don't know him personally). Showed us to our table. Without being asked He made a great point of saying they don't have a children menu as such but if there was nothing they liked they offered pizza, mac and cheese or fish fingers with chips etc. I think this covers most children e. The specials were porterhouse steaks which myself and 2 sons couldn't resist. No rush on the table for which we were previously told 2 hours which was fine. The food was great, service was good. As said not the cheapest but it's a nice place. We have been a dozen times, as a couple and friends. We have always found Jeremy and his staff great. I wouldn't be put off if you have well behaved -

Wife's choice for her birthday lunch with our daughter's. Absolutely delicious food and the staff were attentive without being overpowering. Refreshingly they don't add a service charge to the bill, so we could add our own tip.

My partner and I went for a meal tonight, first time visiting , and it was probably one of the best meals we’ve had. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was exceptional! I didn’t quite catch the names of people that were waiting on us but the young lad with curly blonde hair was super friendly and lovely. We thought it was excellent how the specials board was bought over and spoke through with us too! Overall we had a brilliant time and would definitely visit again!

I went here on a Saturday lunchtime. There were a number of customers but there was still plenty of space. For lunch I had their New Yorker burger. The pastrami was top notch and it had been cooked to perfection. It came with a side of fries which were a little salty for my taste, but not so much that it detracted from the meal. Waitresses were attentive and polite, making sure our cups were never empty and that we were taken care of. The services were fast and despite the menu being a little pricier than some other Northamptonshire pubs, provided excellent portion sizes that more than made up for it. Facilities were kept clean as well. Absolutely no complaints. Thank you Whyte Melville, I'm sure we'll be back.

Utterly faultless service! Very friendly welcoming staff...nice place to be inside. Had the smoked duck starter, and roast lamb main. The 'slaw' with the duck I felt needed a little love. Pickling the carrots for example. Found I preferred the sauce dotted around the plate rather than the dip. Overall it was pleasant, and I would order it again. Lamb main was tasty! I personally would have liked a little more lamb....but thats me being greedy :) The yorky puds were amazingly huge and very crispy. Fantastic effort! Only one minor fail was an intense taste of cloves on the carrots. I personally found it a little peculiar, and somewhat dominating as a flavour. Overall its a lovely place to go. Would recommend....

Nestled in the charming village of Kislingbury, The Sun Inn is a quintessential country pub that captures the essence of traditional Northamptonshire hospitality. With its rustic cabinet-style bar and inviting open fireplaces, this cozy spot is perfect for unwinding after a long day. Families will appreciate the dedicated children's play area, while summer visitors can enjoy delightful barbecue offerings on the expansive patio.
I hired the function room (The Barn) for my wife's 40th Suprise Party. Meghan and Daniella took me through the options and made the process really easy. They also recommended an event styling company of whom they had worked with before, and she was amazing too. The place looked absolutely fab and the party guests all commented positively. I opted for the BBQ package and the food was delicious. They also cated for some of our Vegan and Vegetarian guest. The one and only very small issue and my reason for the reduced star on the service side, was that on a number of occassions, we had to go into the main bar to get someones attention to serve our guests in the funtion room bar. Maybe they were short staffed that night and busy, but they were all still very nice and pleasant. All in all, I would highly recommend the Sun Inn if you need somewhere to have a party/wedding in lovely surroundings.

We visited The Sun Inn for a meal and drinks on a Friday evening. We'd won a meal for 2 with wine voucher in a raffle so thought we'd have a bit of a date night. Unfortunately on arrival we discovered that we had booked our romantic night out on the same evening they were holding a Sixth Formers party. The pub was heaving and there was a band on. Thankfully as we'd pre-booked we were given a nice table in a cosy corner. But the band playing for the party were so loud we could hardly hear ourselves speak. Obviously this is not the fault of the pub, it's just unfortunate our romantic night out didn't work out as such. As the pub was so busy, service was quite slow.It was a good 15 minutes before someone took our drinks order and another 15 minutes before they were brought to our table. Food was also slow coming out but when it did it was very good. We ordered a portion of nachos to share as a starter and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had. Fluffy but crunchy and absolutely loaded with toppings. It was then another long wait for our mains to come out. Again, worth it though as the food was delicious. My husband had a steak and I had swordfish. Both meals were cooked to perfection and very, very tasty. We didn't bother with desert as nothing really took our fancy so we asked for the bill. Overall we had a night out, some nice wine and some delicious food. We will definitely be returning, just hopefully on a quieter evening next time!

A lovely village pub. Very busy, especially during peak times which means it can be a battle to find a seat inside however there is plenty of seating outside which is fine for nice weather. Thank you so much to the fab team at The Sun Inn. A big group of us came along at the weekend to celebrate our Dad's 80th Birthday, and the team couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful! Well done guys, and thank you again 👏

We eat and drink here regularly. It’s lovely cosy and sometimes lively pub. Good food, and the staff are always friendly and quick to serve. This year we had our work Summer BBQ here. The manager, Danni was so helpful and patient with my ever changing needs. The food provided was fantastic. We’ve never had such good finger food left over at the end. There was so much of it and it kept coming out. Thanks Danni and staff.

Saturday Night in Hardingstone After just turning up with no booking the staff were very accommodating, squeezing in the 2 of us. Food was cold and for a very limited Sunday lunch menu that had run out of mashed potatoes but not roast potatoes which tells me it's all coming out of packets. The veggies were under cooked and hard (not al dente) the stuffing ball was dry and over cooked and was a cheap version of paxo no actual meat in the stuffing at all. The whole pub was freezing and the tables were so wobbly and uneven we couldn't find enough beer mats to wedge it stable. Very sad experience. Best bit was someone (another customer) brought their dog in, who was lovely.

It was a Friday afternoon and the place was not that busy. It was surprising, because at that time it's quiet difficult to find a table in pubs. Why there were just a few people? I don't know much about the pub and club scene in Northampton, I was there for the first time. Anyway, I wanted to take a beer and something to eat, and that was a good choice. The staff was friendly and the place was very nice to have a fun time.

This pub is called The Optimist; I’m an optimist myself, but there are limits: It’s a large pub in the centre of Northampton: that’s all. It could do with a maaaaajor makeover: e.g.: the carpet; the segregated seating (see photo). However, the youngish staff were very nice and had a good sense of humour (essential in this kinda place😬). I was there at about 1800 on a Monday and enquired whether there was a ‘happy hour’ for wine and the woman serving me gave me a really good discount- result! I think the three of us (total number of customers at this time) enjoyed the total absence of any other human being. The food was the kind of ultra processed delight (see photos) proffered by the vast majority of similar places. What is my final judgement? In the end, it doesn’t matter: nothing does.

Went here on the 2/8/25 for a bottomless brunch! We was all really impressed! It was earlier on in the afternoon but drinks were made quickly. None of the waiting around. Or waiting until you have finished your drink until they come and asked you what you wanted next. We all had the pizza’s they were beautiful! Loads of toppings. 2 of us was a little bit late arriving and they carried on serving us for the time we missed out on! Was a little bit quiet but we prefer it like that! No complaints at all! Would deffo come back Thankyou everyone

Visited The Optimist a few weeks ago but quite not an optimistic experience. During my walk in the town centre, I was tempted to try this place because of its chic exteriors and I was quite impressed the day I visited by its interiors too. Though it is very quiet for lunch, it surely gives off some good and cozy vibes. I went for the calamari strips as starter which was so crunchy, crispy and tasty with the tartare sauce. As the main course, I wanted to try the burger and opted for the chargrilled chicken fillet, which came with curly fries and slaw. The burger is served in a toasted brioche-style linseed bun with a signature burger sauce, lettuce and red onion but much to my disappointment, the fillet was quite dry with barely no sauce. On a good note, the service is satisfactory and rapid. Overall rating - 2.5/5

Was quiet on arrival due to hot weather and others choosing to sit outside or go to another pub with a garden . Staff were immediately attentive and were more than happy to help with choice of wine and offering a taste to make sure it’s what we’d like . we were very impressed with the wine, and the price.and the staff. We had Sunday lunch, roast beef for me, turkey for my best friend Jon, we both loved the fact that it was served hot not Luke warm like some places and what everyone expects from a Sunday roast We decided it was the best we’d had in a long time. Service from all the staff was fantastic. We also noticed that the empathy and familiarity with customers who must be regulars was a joy to see and rare in these days. It's absolutely amazing. We had the Monday pizza deal, and we were astonished at how good they were. We shared 2 pizzas and a side between 3 of us and loved every bite. We have walked past her so many times so we decided to pop in for a drink. We visited on a Saturday evening and it was about half full. The staff were very friendly but looked a little bored as they were on their phones. Nice small selection of drinks and a lovely looking cold ham and cheese counter, which I would like to visit again and sample. It's quite a small, intimate venue with additional street seating. A group of friends went for a birthday celebration and it was amazing! The food my friends ate looked and smelled amazing! The moaning and contented smiles was enough to let me know the food was GOOD! With food allergies I decided not to risk it, but I did splash out and have a cocktail or two. They were happy to slightly alter the cocktail so I didn't have chilli in it (as I have an intolerance to it). But it was so tasty! And I rarely can have cocktails so this was amazing! The cocktail I had was the Passionfruit margarita (minus the chilli) & I barely have any photos because I drank them so fast! Tart but tasty!

If you're looking for a delightful afternoon tea experience, look no further than The Eccentric Englishman on St Giles Street. Absolutely lovely place for an afternoon tea. From the moment you walk in, your eyes go into overdrive as you try to focus on all the wonderful decorations that cover the walls and ceilings. The food is presented on bone China, it’s well prepared and tastes fantastic. The third course is homemade cheesecake, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it but oh my, it left me feeling it was the best I’d ever tasted. Don’t go in expecting a large seating area, it’s small and cosy, my only negative would be I tried to initially book online but after no reply for three days I called. Three afternoon teas, one a vegetarian option which arrived on its own board, a very nice touch. We attended as a birthday treat for our daughter, we ordered a home made cake and again, it was one of the best we’d tasted, we will definitely visit again.

Wonderful Staff, out of this world food, one of a kind venue, and such lovely service! We booked the cafe to have an afternoon tea for my friends hen do, and the team here were so lovely a such amazing people! The afternoon tea is different to what most are; you get three courses, one savoury, one sweet, and one cheesecake. The lemon cheesecake is the most delicious thing I have ever tasted and is virtually mousse-like! All the savoury food was super flavoursome, and the mismatched crockery and decor is so cute and means the venue is super exciting no matter where you look. Liz the owner is so friendly, super responsive, and really helpful with any questions/organisation you might need. Highly recommend booking an event here, or attending one of their events like their book clubs/quizzes/afternoon teas etc. I will definitely be back!

Went for my 35th birthday really excited to try the afternoon tea and was really disappointed :( We had the gentleman’s afternoon tea and the prohibition tea. The bread that came with the gentleman’s afternoon tea was mouldy. Luckily we realised before we ate it, and asked for it to be taken back. We didn’t want more bread at this point but no apologies or discounts from the final bill were offered. The scotch egg, pork pie and sausage felt like they were from the supermarket and put on our plate. There was also no crusty bread with fillings like it says on the menu, only bread and butter (with the mouldy bread we had to send back). My prohibition afternoon tea was hit and miss, the hot chocolate and little sandwiches were okay. Most of the other parts of the dish (especially the stale brownie bite) had the same supermarket feel, definitely not fresh or homemade. It felt really disappointing to pay £50.60 for a meal that wasn’t good and where it felt like instead of making the food in the restaurant we just got served bits straight out of a packet. I don’t like confrontation so we just left, I don’t think we’ll come back.

I carried out the fire risk assessment on the venue, a unique quirky place with an owner that cares. The building is exquisite in its look of which is grade II listed. Sadly the venue only is pre booked events. Liz made a wicked Meringue. I would say any one who goes would enjoy the quirkiness and privacy of the venue to themselves.

The Eccentric Englishman since 2021! This place is a true gem in town. The unique blend of 19th-century gothic-industrial steam-powered machinery and a touch of Phileas Fogg's spirit creates an unforgettable atmosphere. Lord and Lady Muck have truly outdone themselves with this establishment. From the moment you step in, you're transported to a world of elegance, soft-gothic charm, and inventive Steampunk aesthetics. The ongoing events, from Bottomless Brunch, comedy night, Harry Potter, to live music, ensure that there's always something exciting happening here. The decor is impressive, a perfect mix of historic and whimsical elements. The staff is friendly, and the cleanliness of the place is commendable. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning for their delightful cocktails. If you're seeking an exceptional experience that blends history, creativity, and a touch of eccentricity, The Eccentric Englishman is the place to be!

Wow, what can i say? Eccentric is the right name for this place, what an eclectic decor, but its so cool at the same time, the prices are very good and a lot to choose from on the menu, they even do home made cheesecake fresh every day with everything from a full english to afternoon tea. You really need to come here.

V and B Northampton has an intriguing origin story that sets it apart as a beloved wine bar in the area. Born from the collaboration of two neighbors—one with a well-stocked wine cellar and the other running a beer shop—this venue offers an inviting atmosphere for enthusiasts of both beverages. The ground floor is cozy, featuring just a couple of tables, while the upper level shines, especially during live music nights.
I have visited twice and each occasion I felt very welcome and at ease. I enjoy my whiskey and rum and was impressed to learn more (especially when I think myself as a connoisseur). That being said the owner is humble, welcoming and well.. French, which means I may be slightly biased but cannot downplay my personal experience. On my return visit I went with my partner just before midday and enjoyed some more of my favourite spirits with the guidance of another well travelled and knowledgeable staff member. I would recommend the whisky tasting which I personally haven't done yet but will do on another trip. I know there are cheeses and charcuterie which I am sure are nice but I cannot personally verify.

A fantastic bar with a vibrant atmosphere and an impressive rotating selection of drinks. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the addition of a shop inside the bar is a clever touch that sets it apart. However the prices are on the higher side. Can't wait to try a masterclass.

Perfect as always. Had a wine tasting hosted by Bailey for a birthday and he was the best. Incredible wine and food, so much knowledge but delivered very accessibly. Looked after us all so well as per usual, including catering to dietary restrictions and allergies

Had been on my list to visit for quite a while. Good meats and cheeses, and beer options. I'd love to come back for wine. Unfortunately the bread was a bit sad. Need a bit more effort to add accompaniments to the boards as other than the high quality meat and cheese they are a bit basic. Unfortunately we had much better similarly-priced boards elsewhere (not local, Hampshire) the following week which lowered my opinion of this place slightly.

What's not to love - wine, beer and cheese. Fabulous venue offering lots of different experiences. Simple glass of wine or language class, wine tasting, open mic night amongst others

I have frequented this place multiple times since it has opened this year (2022), the selection of wine and beers is unparalleled in Northampton. I have also purchased some of their wines available in the shop, all of which were well received. I am looking forward to going to one of the many events that they host in-house for some speciality tastings! Thanks V&B, look forward to my next visit!

I love this place. Good for dining during the day, food is brilliant. In the evening, get the cocktails going have a boogie on the dance floor, music is pretty mainstream but a good night out. Never seem to get any trouble. Staff are wonderful and friendly.

Nice spot for drinks and dancing. (edited after the owner's reply) Unfortunately, some people had drunk way too much but continued to be served alcohol and we ended up being bothered as a result. Additionally, the music was too loud so me and my friends kept having to shout at each other in order to be able to be listened.

Beautiful pub but couldn't be less interested in serving me! Bar man clearly couldn't be bothered to be here today by his attitude, was going to order food but after no acknowledgment of me even standing at the bar I changed my mind, wish I didn't waste my money on a glass of wine before ordering food. 8 customers in, not busy, no wonder why. Manager (I assume) sat at the end of the bar paying no attention to anything! Luckily the revs near me know how to treat paying customers, thankfully I don't have to ever return to this one!

Such a shame this ‘pub’ is now no more than a dreadful karaoke venue for a handful of local regulars on Friday and Saturday nights, as they actually sell a good pint of Phipp’s IPA. But it’s too awful to stay and have to listen to. I’m afraid I won’t be visiting again until there’s new management who knows how to run a pub properly. (February 2025)

Arrived at 1845 and got drinks. Asked for a clothing to wipe table which was very dirty and sticky. Barmaid said she would get one and disappeared out back. She reappeared about 5 minutes later delivering food to a table. I found a cloth and wiped table myself. We were a group of 4. At 7.05pm went to bar again to order food. Sorry food has just stopped said same barmaid (despite no signs or notices anywhere stating this). Very unimpressed to say the least. Will not bother going there again!

Booked a wine tasting as a birthday gift and was not disappointed. The wines are some of the best you will ever taste and the owner Bill is a lovely Gentleman who has many stories to tell as he educates you on wine growing. We stayed here whilst going to the Crick Boat Show on Saturday 24th May 2025. Positives in my opinion - Great location, friendly staff, nice clean comfortable rooms, nice to hear the church bells chime on the hour which is situated behind the pub, good food and nice breakfast which is included in the price of the room.Accessible rooms available with walk in shower. Co-op opposite for amenities. Negatives in my opinion - parking limited no blue badge spaces, pillows were basic and shower is a rainfall one so not as powerful to wash your hair is needed. Definitely more positives so would recommend to stay and eat here as lovely atmosphere and food was delicious. Perfect stay for attending the Crick Boat Show as less than 10 mins away! To sum up, will stay again :)

White Elephant is a historic pub located in Northampton, United Kingdom. Originally built in 1883 as a hotel and residential club for racegoers, it has since become a popular neighborhood spot offering pub food, draft beer, and a relaxed setting with a patio. The pub's history dates back to its early days as the Kingsley Park Hotel before being dubbed 'The White Elephant' by locals during its period of vacancy.
Great pub, been going here for almost 10 yrs! Love the layout, it's casual in parts and then more catered for dining in other parts. Two great pool tables, a darts board, some fruit machines and a brilliant outdoor beer garden at the back. They play live sports on huge screens too! The staff are friendly and so are the locals, always happy to have a chat and a laugh! Special offers are available most days but it seems Thursdays are the best! Go have a pint and checkout the pub! I'm sure you'll love it :-)

We arrived on Xmas day very excited and we’re not disappointed at all. We had a lovely cheerful welcome and even received chocolate for my two sons which was really kind and generous. The service throughout was without fault, always checking if we had drinks and nothing was too much trouble. The starters came out promptly and I thought it was delicious. I had Salmon with beetroot and a horseradish sauce. We had a free round of drinks as Our Turkey mains were out a little later than they would’ve hoped but we honestly didn’t mind at all, they were spot on and we were just talking, drinking and playing with the cracker toys. I had a gorgeous Xmas pudding for dessert but struggled to eat it all as was so full. We couldn’t have asked for a better Xmas dinner as the whole experience was wonderful. Polite, friendly staff, making the effort to talk to my boys about Santa. We got home afterwards and were still talking about how we enjoyed ourselves and we were all so very thankful to all the staff for their hard work being away from their families on Xmas day. I would definitely recommend and would love to spend Xmas day at the white elephant again!! Well done guys, honestly was such a great day :)

Situated on the outskirts of the Grange Park development near Northampton, just off junction 15 of the M1, the recently renovated Wig & Walnut pub offers a spacious and inviting atmosphere. The bar, which serves both dining and drinking areas, is open-plan with a sweeping layout. Additionally, there is an outdoor seating area adorned with newly landscaped features that proves to be popular during favorable weather conditions.
Came for a mid week dinner, I had the steak, my partner had a burger and our nanna had fish and chips. We were all very pleased, the food was lovely. We were greeted by a gentleman at the door who asked if we had any dietary requirements and showed us to our clean table. Service was great the atmosphere was great, nothing to fault. We will come back and try the pie next time as table next to us got one and it looked great. Steak was cooked perfectly and the Gravey is so nice. See u again.

Lou was great. We had a large group and it didn’t faze her. She was always on top of service with the food and drink, she was very attentive. Lovely personality, had a good laugh with us.

Amazing service! We celebrated my dad’s 70th and his cancer-free news at the Wig and Walnut. The team couldn’t have been more accommodating and made our time at lunch so special. They even decorated the table with decorations and balloons I dropped off the day before. Brilliant team, great atmosphere, yummy food and lovely setting!

The staff are amazing here, so attentive, friendly and helpful plus smiling, always helps. Food was lovely, steak could have been cooked a bit less, however it was really tasty. Drinks were reasonable, will definitely be returning. It was quiet as only 5:30pm on a Saturday which was a nice time to go here. It was a hot day and I don’t like eating outside, and they great working air con, it was lovely. Thank you

Recently went to the Wig and Walnut as part of a large (15+) group. We were welcomed and settled in a quiet area of the pub. Our dogs were welcomed with towels and treats on hand for them. It was quite busy so we had pre ordered our food which all came out at the same time. The portions are good, the food was hot and the littles all cleared their plates. Some of us had room for dessert. The menu choice is wide with options for vegan and vegetarian meals. The children's menu is good too. The whole staff were lovely from the manager to the bar staff and the guy who brought out sauces and cleared the tables. If we are in the area again we will visit.

There were some issues with the kitchen but the waitress we had (Precious) was so accommodating and helpful throughout the experience. Plus the food is always delicious, I had the soup and mushroom and spinach risotto and my fiancé had the mushroom stater and steak. Then we shared a sticky toffee pudding and it was exquisite despite the kitchen problems.

Went here to see a tribute act 'Flash, a Queen tribute'... one of the best nights of my life. Outside, the building is unassuming, a bar at best, but you enter and it's very apparently, there's something out back... a stage and auditorium. Adequate space for the band and ample space for a crowd. Atmosphere is incredible.

Fantastic Sunday roast! I had the trio of meats, roast beef, pork and chicken, all perfectly cooked. Roast beef tender and pink in the middle , just it should be. Pork super tender, chicken tasty and tatties and veg perfectly done. Highly recommended!

Great gigs and events. Several times, Kirsty, the manager, has been very accommodating with bookings we make in regards to us who have mobility struggles. Never have any trouble with violence or threatening behaviour from fellow patrons.. and security conduct themselves in a very officient but calm manner for that to happen. It's a chilled venue that allows folk to go out and have a good time.

We went in there after having something to eat up the road. Halfway down the first drink, we were told to move seats as the area we were in was closing, and the bar was closing early as there was no function on. We moved to another table, and the guy calls last orders at half past ten on a Saturday night.Needless to say, we won't bother again.

Shipmans is a historic and unique pub located in Northampton town center. The establishment has recently undergone a remarkable refurbishment, with attention to detail evident throughout the bar area and two restaurant rooms upstairs. The cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff, and delicious food options make it stand out from other choices in the area. While some patrons have noted that portion sizes may be on the smaller side for the price, overall feedback highlights Shipmans as a top-notch destination for enjoying tasty meals and drinks.
This pub is really a hidden gem… it’s changed so much since I last came here… we had a roast for Mother’s Day which was a bit different.. music is very cool.. but the roast dinner is fab xx Everyone had great food- veggie roast was yummy, and the meaty options were awesome too. They must have a really brilliant chef because pub grub isn’t usually this food x

I popped in for a beer this week and found the welcome warm and they had Red Stripe on draughty. Ownership have clearly spent money on upgrading the pub, so much so that a painter was in the venue touching up the decor in various places. Would visit again for a longer period.

Yesterday, 6 of us had a bottomless brunch at the Shipman's. From the moment we walked in, the team were so welcoming and accommodating. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for them. The drinks were flowing and the food was absolutely gorgeous and very prompt. We had a mixture of veggie platters and meat platters. Both so tasty. We couldn't even eat it all. Such a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Thank you to Steph & Elizia in the front of house & Joe in the kitchen for looking after us so well. Highly recommend this place for food and/or drinks. We will definitely come again, if you will have us.....😁

Didnt try the food but mates said they loved it. Saw a jazz performance in the room upstairs, (incredibly small space but fun for a small group to watch a show), then caught a little of the open mic downstairs, great drinks options and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

We had booked for lunch with some family, it was very loud and we waited ages even to be acknowledged, when we were shown a table the music was blasting and there were two groups on bottomless brunch, I could not hear a thing. Our server was friendly and polite but I would have liked the option to sit upstairs. The burger was good, tasty and hot. I'm not sure I'd come back, I could not hold a conversation too loud. Shame.

This is a seriously hidden gem in the town centre: a welcome respite from the sulphurous traffic and rather somnolent town without. This large, very stylish bar is really elegant, comfortably furnished and full of friendly, laid-back, good-natured people. The young woman who served me was very welcoming and efficient. There is a good range of vegan, vegetarian and meat-based dishes together with snacks and sandwiches. There is a good range of beers, wines and spirits at very competitive (but not bargain) prices. This is,without a doubt, the very best pub I found in my five days sojourning here. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiighly recommended.

We had an incredible experience at The Charles Bradlaugh. We held a fundraising event there upstairs and were given exclusive use. The staff couldn’t do any more for us they were so attentive and helpful. Number one spot in Northampton for inclusivity given many of our guests have disabilities. Great food, too! Travis looked after us all so well and was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. No hassle. No stress. Everything taken care of and thanks to being so flexible on the evening as we were able to keep our guests happy and raise thousands of pounds on the two nights we spent there. We would book this venue for any event in the future and we will be making regular visits for pub lunches, meetings and Sunday lunches as the food and services is so good! Highly recommend! Thank you Travis and all the bar and kitchen staff for doing a great job ❤️

Such a warm and welcoming place for events. I’ve booked two baby shower events this year and I could not fault the service. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, letting us in early to set up and helping with table and chairs. Staff regularly checked in on us to see if we needed anything. The space provided was fairly private and had enough space for decorations and approx 35 people. Guests on both occasions complimented the venue and the space outdoors. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Although we didn’t have food it was great that we had the option if we wanted too and booking the space was so straightforward. 10/10 from us and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to hold events.

We held our daughters christening/1st birthday party here on Sunday afternoon. Trav made booking really easy and was happy to accommodate anything we needed. Organisation for the party was brilliant, we were able to bring decorations to be stored the night before and were let in early on the day to set up. Poppy was amazing, nothing was too much and she made everything really easy. The girls serving behind the bar were really lovely to all of the guests and were happy to help tidy things up afterwards which wasn’t expected. Would definitely recommend for a party.

A very nice place for breakfast , the food is always fresh and tasty, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere makes you want to come back. Unfortunately, the prices are definitely too high around £60 for breakfast with coffee and a mini dessert is just too much. That’s why we can’t visit too often. Great (and only) pub in the village of Yelvertoft. We did a hike and ended at the pub, so the real ale was a welcome sight. A genuinely fun pub. Great pizza and decent fish and chips. That was the limit of the menu when we visited hence 4 stars but... The service was excellent and the beer was good too. Everything is reasonably priced which is a refreshing. If this was my local I'd be in every night and that was the vibe I got from the crowd round the pool table. Not somewhere you'd go for an anniversary but this pub is about repeat business and yes, I'll be going back when I can.

Thank you all for your hospitality.

I came to eat here with my wife and autistic son and the food was disgusting, it was served cold and very wet, somehow the pizza was burnt and soggy at the same time, the atmosphere was incredibly loud for a pub and it was like they didn't care how unruly and feral the other drunk customers were acting. This caused my son to become overstimulated, when I complained the wait staff did nothing about this they were incredibly rude I wouldn't recommend this establishment to eat at or even walk nearby, disgrace to the village.

My first visit, I have recently moved to the area, looking for a local friendly place to find new friends. Did I pick the wrong night??? Atmosphere terrible, people just looked, I spoke and was ignored!!!! I tried to order a drink, it was busy, the barman, a short bloke who was sporting a big bushy beard, was rude, when I was pondering on what to order, then ignored me and started to serve another person who was obviously a regular as they were on first name terms. I had previously seen videos of the groups and singers, but you couldn't swing a cat in this place, yet fill it with a group and still have space for customers. My first impressions - don't bother with this place, I walked around the area and found The Squirrels, 100% better, friendly and served me straight away, they were helpful and gave advice.

We held a party here in October 24. Place stinks of fish upstairs (apparently pigeon poo). With holding my deposit after private booking. Even tho I have in writing that there was no music due to error with their amp. Re think if considering booking this place for a party!

Highly recommended, place it's clean and tidy, the roof looks amazing! Holiday vibes! Well done guys!

Very nice people, it’s hard for me to rate this a 3, but the food was possibly the worst I have ever been served. Nothing in that kitchen is not frozen I don’t believe it. Very cheap sauces. I have had better food at a car boot. Saying that lots of screens, very friendly team, not at all the vibe portrayed online, sticky floors, nice rooftop, fresh seeming beer, slightly dodgy loos, but I would not come back if I had to eat anything. And we had a selection.

Went there to watch the World Cup Finals and everything from the atmosphere to the food was exceptional! The food and drinks arrived quick, even when ordered through the QR code. I liked how most tables had their own individual screens so eating and drinking whilst watching the game was very enjoyable and comfortable. Even though it was a 5 star experience for a sports bar, I felt the waiter was a bit stand-offish but I can understand that due to him waiting tables during a game. Also, the app/website let me pay for some food from the coffee shop a minute before it closed and I couldn't get my orders or my money back. Other than those two gripes, I will be returning soon👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

Booked 2 tables in advance for 3pm. Went in person on the day at 12:30pm to confirm booking and request the tables to be together and was told this was all okay. Arrived at 3pm and there was no reservation signs for us and fortunately only one table available that we crammed around and made do. Lovely bar though and plenty of TV screens available. App worked well and drinks arrived in plenty of time even though it was super busy.

Went for a birthday party on the roof. Ran out of gas in outdoor heaters, no decent drinks only gin! Ladies toilet absolutely awful. Dirty with no working toilets!
