Brewery

Restaurant
Masthead Brewing Co. is a spacious brewery and taproom located at 1261 Superior Ave in Cleveland's downtown area. It is known for its fantastic can releases, IPAs, and wood-fired pizza. The brewery offers a variety of American and Belgian beers, with top sellers including the Hazy Headlines IPA and Single Origin Coffee Stout.
I have visited Masthead a number of times throughout the years, and continue to be impressed with both their beers as well as their food options. The most recent visit was with two old friends on a Saturday night before a Guardians game. I was able to sample a number of their top notch beers, and also thoroughly enjoyed their Korean BBQ pizza. It was full of flavor and spice, and complimented the aforementioned beers very well. I already make it a point to tell anyone visiting the Cleveland area to give this place a go, and my most recent experience only adds to my admiration for the work everyone at Masthead does to put out a really unique and enjoyable product in all facets.

Short Answer: 10/10, rad atmosphere, excellent service, phenomenal beer, & BEST pizza I ever had in my life, lots of good people headed to AC/DC, best dog toy & hats too. (Ate the entire pizza to myself lol). Long Answer: Truly shocked to even see people poorly rate this place low, especially over trivial matters. After a long commute from Michigan to go to my neurosurgery appointment @ the Cleveland Clinic, afterwards I knew I’d be in search for some good pizza, cool atmosphere, and one delicious cold beer. I got this experience & more! The nice male bartender right behind the register had top notch customer service skills and you could tell that he was genuinely a nice guy. These are the characteristics that make or break a business and set themselves apart from others. I loved their swag so I purchased a bright orange “Dad hat,” & a dog toy (stuffed beer can :)) for my pup. They were nice enough to bag this for me AND a very kind female worker threw in a super cool sticker which was a nice touch. Once my pizza was ready, I went up grab it on my own. I only have use of one arm/hand & was kinda nervous about this, however realized it was light & doable. An employee met me right at the same time & offered to take it over to the table to me - it’s like he read my mind. :) The Pale Ale, beer I had was so delicious & the pickle pizza was absolutely the best of the best with the potato chip crunch. I told all my friends about this place and I truly cannot wait to come back here & show it off to more people. Thank you, Masthead Brewing Co. & team for making my day & past really tough month for me, â million times better. Wish you all the best. -Lindsay from Michigan.

Beer flights and pizza. Need I say more? Good beer selection. Personal sized pizzas big enough to share or have as a meal. Some salads available also. Very kick back place to come with a small group, chill, relax, and have some fun. Order food at the bar and get a buzzer for pickup when ready. Seasonal brews. Tried the Haunted Hayride Pumpkin Ale and thought it was really good. If in doubt, try a beer flight or ask for a sample. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is awesome! We recently stopped in Before the Browns game. I love that you can see yourself and order your food at the bar. I tried several beers. I enjoyed all of them. One thing I was blown away by though was the food even though the day that we went, the menu was limited mostly pizza. It was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had easily and nine out of 10. My son and his friend Shared a pretzel. 🥨 It was literally perfect! Next time I’m in town I’m definitely stopping here again. This could be our pregame tradition.
Skyler R — Google review
Extra, Extra was EXTRA AMAZING!! Shadow of a Colossus our favorite among the Barleywines however not your standard brews. Brick oven pizzas were ok. Same with pretzel. Service was excellent! .5 mile walk from the Ritz.

Came here for the Sleep Tokem concert this weekend. My fiance picked this place and boy she did a good job. Amazing food and wonderful drink menu. Highly recommend going here if in Cleveland!
Jared C — Google review
Hands down one of my favorites! The food is delicious and the beer, regardless of what it is, never disappoints! We stop here pretty much anytime we’re downtown, a must visit!
Jason B — Google review
We had a small family event ( approx 25 people) at Masthead on a saturday afternoon and it was perfect! Luke, the events manager, was super responsive to my emails and gave lots of helpful suggestions making the planning easy to do from out of town. We had a couple tables near the large windows in front and pre-ordered food as a buffet. Our group was able to mingle, to talk but there was plenty of space for people to sit to eat too. As a bonus, sports were on TV for our guests that wanted to keep up with their teams. The food and drinks were great. There wasn't a minimum spend and the flexibilty was perfect for our group. I highly recommend Masthead for great food and beer, as well as a great place for an event!

Beer garden
Brewery
Market Garden Brewpub & Pizza is an American gastropub located in the bustling restaurant district of West 25th Street, near the West Side Market. The establishment offers a cozy atmosphere with three fireplaces, a leafy beer garden, and three bars. It features a chef-driven seasonal gastropub menu by Chef Andrew Bower and an extensive selection of award-winning craft tap beers.
It's a little expensive but we enjoyed all of our food and drinks. They had a large menu for food as well as drinks. It seemed to be a popular place, we got a seat instantly on a Friday night but there were a lot of other customers. We got the pepperoni pizza, stuffed banana peppers, and an order of garlic Parmesan wings. Everything came out very hot and tasted fresh. I also enjoyed my cocktail and my husband enjoyed his beer. Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere of the pub was trendy. We came on a rainy afternoon, they had their window patio style doors open so it was nice and cool inside and the sound of the rain was very relaxing. I also really appreciated the shelf of highchairs and booster seats - I look forward to having a second visit with my daughter.
Hailey J — Google review
Came in on a Saturday afternoon. Really good chocolate peanut butter stout and made a great special order Margarita. We had the Sausage pepper pepperoni pizza that was excellent. Staff was great, really attentive and very nice. Cali was our server and was amazing.
Ray D — Google review
Market Garden in Ohio City offered a solid experience overall, with a lovely patio that made for a relaxed atmosphere and a great music selection that added to the vibe. The service was pretty average, but the food came out quickly, which was a plus. The smash burger was the clear standout, perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and elevated by a delicious special sauce. Paired with hot, crispy fries, it was easily the highlight of the meal. The salad with salmon was just okay, not particularly memorable, and the rib sandwich unfortunately lacked seasoning and depth. Despite a few misses, it was an enjoyable visit, and I’d definitely return, especially for that smash burger.
Justin L — Google review
Every time I've been here the food & service has been great. Stopped for lunch after spending time at the West Side Market. Restaurant has a good vibe, dining both inside & outside - for any size party. Service was helpful & friendly. Everything we had was so good. I had the Korean Chicken Sando - such a tasty chicken sandwich. Opted for a Caesar salad over fries. No regrets. My wife had the Veggie Sandwich, also opted for the Caesar salad over fries. She said it was the best veggie sandwich she's ever had. Beer menu offered a lot of options (we didn't have any) - don't hesitate to stop in for some great food & drink.
David W — Google review
Espresso martinis were absolutely amazing, and the pizza was to die for! The vibe was great with awesome music playing throughout. My husband loved his beer, and we both agreed this place deserves 5 stars all day long.
Tiffany C — Google review
I'm sitting here right now and this place is great. The Ohio pepperoni pizza is fire. The beer is fantastic. The bloody Mary's are homemade from scratch by the chef and are so darn good. The West Side Market is 50' away and its magical. BUT..........the best part of this place are the wonderful staff members. Everyone is so kind and genuine. Hats off to them for making my family's Saturday perfection. Keke and Kat are out bartenders and they are fantastic 🫂
Jason P — Google review
Atmosphere is great. Our server Gavin was fabulous and knowledgeable about the beers and drinks. We order a couple of Pizza’s (Vegan) and they were delicious. The Street Corn pizza was my favorite.
Julie Z — Google review
No food at this location. Beer and souvenirs only. Service was the best of any brewery we visited in Cleveland. The Prosperity Hefeweizen was good, not a German Hefeweizen but still good. The Citramax was way too Citra. The Ginger Wheat was GINGER! Wheat. The Buckeye Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout was too much Peanut Butter and Chocolate and not enough stout. Neither of these was bad, just over flavored. The Octoberfest was our favorite. We are beer snobs so come and enjoy.

Noble Beast Brewing Co. is a popular spot in Cleveland, known for its house-brewed beers and delicious elevated bar snacks, sandwiches, and salads. The taproom offers a lively atmosphere where visitors can enjoy the brewery's namesake brews alongside fabulous food. The portions are generous, making it a great option for those looking for a filling meal at an affordable price.
Ken was awesome! He truly loves the liquid they brew. Not a vegetarian but the general Tsofu sandwich rocks. All the beers we tasted were great. Thank Noble Beast, a great stop in Cleveland.
Renee L — Google review
Such a vibe! Loved the cozy ambience and the fun variety on the brewed beer menu 🍻 Food options were limited, but sooo worth it — the chicken wrap, tofu wrap, and gochujang wings? Absolute favorites! Tried the barley wine for a sweet twist and a classic brew for balance. Great spot with great service!
Vinodharani M — Google review
Food and beer were great! Never heard of it, as from out if town, stopped there and we had a great meal. Ambience was cool as well. Suggested place to visit! Pepperoni rolls were tasty!
Shawn J — Google review
I have visited hundreds of breweries in Ohio. This is one of my favorites. Atmosphere is so cool. You sit right in the brew section and the beers are simply amazing. I just got the dry rub Cajun wings as well. Damn one order was not enough. Victoria was awesome!
Aaron R — Google review
Good beer selection, sometimes hard to select a favorite. Visited from out of town. People were gearing up for the baseball game with some pre-game beverages. Bavarian pretzel was good, nice chew, and flavor. Beers - definitely worth a visit to try their selection.
Gerry J — Google review
Stopped in for a quick drink and snack midday. It was nice that there was a parking lot so close, and was only $3.00. We cant say much for the food since we only ordered chips and dip. We are a fan of homemade chips which these clearly arent but they did the job! Beer was good. Service was lacking a bit. The ladies were very nice but we had to keep getting their attention to order.
Jennifer K — Google review
Enjoyed a late dinner here. We enjoyed their wings, chicken wing and a few beers. Just passing by but would definitely return here if ever in the area again.
Monica M — Google review
First time visiting Cleveland, so I did a quick Google search for the best breweries in the area, and this is the one that kept popping up. Man, it did not disappoint! I had a few beers, but the standout for me was the Hefeweizen. What a delicious, fresh, clean, and true-to-style beer that was! I also ordered some chicken wings: the lemon pepper wings were really good, but the star of the show was the miso honey wings. Both orders were cooked perfectly. I honestly wish I could have tried all the flavors. I can't wait to visit again.

Located on the eastern shore of the Cuyahoga River, Collision Bend Brewing Company is a trendy waterfront brewery and taproom housed in a refurbished 1860s-era chandlery. The venue offers three bars, New American small plates, and a riverfront patio for warmer months. With a diverse beer portfolio including Helles Angels lager and Tangled Webs Belgian strong dark ale, it's not just the ambiance that draws visitors.
Had an absolutely wonderful lunch here today. Food was delicious and the cocktails were fun and refreshing. I appreciated that the lavender drink wasn't too overwhelmingly lavender. And I highly recommend the sausage pizza. Looking forward to coming back!
Kaitlin W — Google review
Great place next to the river. Sit outside if the weather is nice. Wonderful view. Service is very good. Sheet pan nachos - bring a crowd as this is huge and tastes great! Sausage appetizer board with cheese is another winner. Beer flight, full bar, lots of brews to choose from. And plenty of great food on the menu, but I was stuffed from the appetizers. Highly recommend!
Gerry J — Google review
First of all our server was very attentive and did a great job. The indoor patio was a little warm because the sun was setting, but there’s a great view of the river. The beer was cold and tasty our meals the hot honey chicken, BJ burger, and poke salad were all delicious. I would definitely return back when I’m in the area again.
Dolores B — Google review
Great food options for all dietary needs. We, as a vegan diet, we're very happy with the marked vegan options. They also mark vegetarian, ways to make things vegan/vegetarian and gluten free. The staff was awesome and timely. Great value for the price!
Jessica Z — Google review
We had Collison Bend Lake Erie Sunset at our hotel bar. We headed down there the next day for lunch. There is no doubt, the beer is really good, and service was great. Unfortunately my partners smash burger showed up on the cool side. Even the cheese wasn't melted. They were definitely busy, so maybe the order got backed up. My food was excellent, and if I ever come back to Cleveland again I will come back.
Alex B — Google review
We had a great time with friends watching the Abby Normal and Detroit Lean band play. Great beer, great food, and great venue! We were outside right on the river, watching the boats listening to the band. A fun time was had by all.🍺
Michele M — Google review
Really fantastic on all fronts. I often query, when breweries are this amazing from a venue perspective, does the beer even matter? This place is off the charts and has a great HH menu to boot.
Rick C — Google review
Cozy restaurant in the flats. They have a really nice patio you can eat on that faces the river (which was nasty brown). We went as a staff party. I never had walleye before so I choose that and it was okay. The piece was huge but it was fried way to much and there grease is dirty ugh! Alot of my co workers got the Quesadilla and said it was meh 🫤. The drinks are pretty like $12-14 for cocktails. I also tried the lavender lemonade, lil sweet but good. Overall okay. Would I come again, probably not.

Terrestrial Brewing Company is an industrial-chic brewery and taproom located in Cleveland's Battery Park neighborhood, offering a wide variety of adventurous house beers. Founded by Ryan Bennett and Ralph Sgro, this establishment sits on the shores of Lake Erie, providing stunning views and a dog-friendly atmosphere. The brewery features a diverse collection of beers, including fruited sours and pastry stouts with unique flavors like strawberry-banana and funfetti cake.
This brewpub had a very local and neighborhood feel to it, which isn't always easy to procure. It is definitely dog friendly, so anyone with a penchant for pups will not be disappointed. The beer menu was pretty large and varied, and I enjoyed my selection, even though my friend and I were only there for a short visit.
Marcus B — Google review
Cool setting for this brewery. Set in the middle of a townhouse neighborhood by the lake. Sunday was bring your pup to drink a beer with you day. All were well behaved and quite thirsty. Their beer was good with some guest taps also. I had an excellent West coast IPA infused with jalapeno from their infusion machine.
Brian H — Google review
Absolutely loved Terrestrial Brewery! We came with our two kids and had a fantastic time. Beers are terrific, food is excellent—smashed burger, fried chicken sando (!!!), spinach salad - all delicious!! Perfect service (Connor was awesome!) and the train passing by adds such a cool vibe. Highly highly highly recommend. Such a great spot!
Omer A — Google review
It's great when you stumble across a fun, new, craft brewery - extra points because it has a good small menu + double extra points because it has a patio and allows dogs. Add all together and it was a great lunch with with good beers in a nice neighborhood next to Lake Erie in Cleveland. The perogies were excellent and Catfish Po'boy was tasty with perfect heat level. Relax with their beers on the patio and enjoy the experience.
Jim C — Google review
Long anticipated first time here, and the beers didn't disappoint! Met a buddy for happy hour, and this is a really cool location! Had 2 beers that were tasty and got another stamp on my Ohio Brewpath passport. Family friendly and dog friendly! Hoping to be back over the summer again to try more and enjoy the patio here.
Taylor M — Google review
Excellent ambiance, everyone was really pleasant. The blonde hair female bartender was so nice and down to earth. Real conversational and laid back. She was really chill about trying a number of samples. We got the burger and I got a chicken taco as well. Both were delicious. The sour was good, Pilsner was very drinkable and smooth. Wish they had some type of blonde or an amber. But overall great ambiance, perfect low/mellow lighting. Ample patio space. We brought our dog and everyone was really friendly. Hope to be back again. Cheers
Daniel G — Google review
I was pretty happy that I could walk here from Edgewater Park. The building is unmistakable as it's such a prominent feature on the hillside (looks cool). But the beer was not worth the walk. A flight of 4 samples was $13.00 and they were all just missing the quality and drinkability that I'd expect from most breweries. Nothing on tap is anything that I would drink again. They are very dog friendly and hipster friendly. But are the dog/hippy people your only market?
Ben S — Google review
Morning Help Stout & Aloha Fruited Sour are good beers, I do wish there were more selections. Very busy place! Plenty of outdoor seating and some located right by the tracks. They offer a small menu as well!

With three bars and a two-story patio featuring oversized games like Jenga and Connect Four, Nano Brew provides a lively atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their drinks.
We went for brunch on Saturday at noon and the service, food and atmosphere were all wonderful! We got the Chorizo Breakfast Wrap and The Spicy Poblano Burger. Both were delicious!

We go to most of the area breweries and tap houses. This one is ouf favorite. Beer selection is awesome, burgers are great, and service is incredible. We like the outdoor bar option. Murph is the best!
Todd K — Google review
Came to Nano Brew with similarly high expectations since every other resturant in Ohio City has been 5 stars so far. Sadly this one missed the mark. The food was good, but the service was horrendous. It took 15 minutes for a server to visit our table and the next time we saw her it was to pay the bill. Recommend they do some server training as many tables seemed to have similar issues this evening. Would not recommend.
G M — Google review
The outdoor patio had awesome ambiance. Good craft beer selection. The chicken sandwich with the oil was awesome. The burger was good but not as amazing. Caden the bartender was super friendly and chill. He was knowledgeable about beer options and the menu. Unfortunately he got pulled away a few times and we were left for awhile waiting to put in our order or to ask for napkins etc. but I’m sure not his fault. He was solo at the back bar. Great vibe. Glad it was dog friendly. Hope to be back.
Daniel G — Google review
We absolutely loved this place! They played fantastic music and the staff were friendly and fast. The food was also amazing. We will definitely be coming back!

The outdoor ambiance was fantastic. It's very well put together and gives an exclusive feeling when you come off the street. The bartenders were really awesome too! Megan and the guy who looked like Matt Toast were such a great vibe! Would go again 100%
Aaron H — Google review
My friend and I went here this past weekend. Although the service and atmosphere were fine, the food was underwhelming. I ordered the jerk chicken dip for an appetizer and the Gaucho burger for my entree. The burger gave was a bit sad and dry; I had to ask for “extra” sauce. The burger included sundried tomatoes which were decent but it wasn’t cut up so it was hard to eat in bites. The only redeeming thing was the french fries that I had on the side. I think it’s a great place for drinks though but I wouldn’t come back for the food.

We love nano brew!! I have been coming here since I was 21. Used to hit up the bar scene in my young 20’s and this was one of the “spots”. Now, I just turned 30, and this is still one of the “spots” lol. I really love the atmosphere, the outdoor patio and bar section, the food & drinks and the fact they are dog friendly inside and out! We started bringing our puppy when she was 3.5 months old and now she’s 6 months. She loves it and loves the attention she gets from all the other customers and workers. We will be coming here for as long as they are open! Give it a shot if you haven’t already! 🍻

Fat Head's Brewery is a must-visit destination for craft beer enthusiasts, especially if you're catching a game at the Guardians stadium. With an impressive selection of brews, this brewery promises a memorable experience for beer lovers.
Best craft beer around, come visit me at the Guardians stadium!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I was not expecting this place to be as good as it is, you see a tiny little hole in the wall at first glance. But the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by nice staff with the option to be seated outside, inside or at the bar. They have a great selection of beer, a good size menu and let me tell you guys. I finished EVERY BITE of the food I ordered! Their pierogis and fish tacos are pictured. Everything was so fresh and (seemingly) made in house. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area or looking for a good spot for a couple drinks and some great food. 10/10

Nestled in the Duck Island area between Ohio City and Tremont, Forest City Brewery is a hidden gem worth seeking out. The brewery offers a variety of hand-crafted brews on tap, including favorites like Towpath Trail Oatmeal Stout, #57 Brown Ale, and St. Wendelin Wheat. Visitors can enjoy the vintage charm of the brewpub or relax in the spacious beer garden during summer months.
Walk into this beer hall that has been home to celebrations for more than one hundred years. Friendliness has sunk into the wood and the current operators, Forest City Brewery keep your glasses full. My partner and I are picky when it comes to beer, and Forest City delivers. We selected a flight of six beers, and every one of them was excellent. Rich in flavor, authentic in style. This was one of the best flights we have ever ordered. The food was hearty and satisfying, with a special shout out for the chili dog. Drink inside or in the beer garden, but don’t miss this place.

Very good beers and great ambience! Wonderful outdoor space and many dining areas! The food was good but not amazing and portions were on the small side. But this is primarily micro brewery and they delivered on great beers for sure!

What a great gem in the city of Cleveland. This place is really cool on the inside. Very spacious. There is plenty of seating on the inside and they have a large beer garden on the outside. Great selection of beers from your darks, fruit sours and everything in between. They have a beer for everybody's taste. They also serve food. Not an extensive menu but if you're hungry the food is very good. Try the chili if it's on the menu. Parking can be a bit of a hassle during the busy hours but well worth the visit.

Beers were average at best and service was slow. Very hot day in Cleveland but for some reason no air conditioning meaning it was like a sauna inside. Comfortably the worst brewery I've visited in Ohio, and I've visited a lot.

I wasn't sure what kind of food I was going to get there considering I don't eat meat, just seafood and veggies. They had a wonderful hummus plate with vegetables and pita bread. That was perfect for me. My husband had sauerkraut and kielbasa and others like their food as well. Really love that they connect with the community by giving non-profits a space to hold events on some Tuesdays for free. I applaud them for that. Everybody there was pleasant and I had a good time at this fundraising event for people with disabilities

I respect a policy is a policy…just have to say our most recent experience made for two very disappointed customers who really enjoyed frequenting this place in the past, especially in the summer months (it really is a fabulous outdoor space). We were swiftly booted because we brought our infant sleeping in the stroller. Friends had a baptism party here a few years back so we thought it was a great option to quietly enjoy a quick beer in our own little corner, but sad to say an old go-to for a chill Saturday is permanently scratched.

Signs outside and inside stated 16+ only. In other words, no kids. We had gone slightly out of our way to try this place, so I went in and asked if we could bring in our 5 year old for just a beer and be on our way. It was a quiet Tuesday night (our last in Cleveland), and the staff agreed warmly to allow us to sit outside. Towards the end of our beer, the owner (or somebody pretending to be the owner) saw our kid and scowled at me, ignored my polite explanation, then muttered something about my being “another parent who just ignores the signs and thinks the rules don’t apply to them.” Whatever. Too many nice people in Cleveland to allow one bad interaction to spoil the mood. I was more turned off by how he shouted at a pair of female employees for allowing us in. If no-kids means so much to him, he can hire a bouncer to work the door rather than leave it to his college-aged bar staff (whose job is to create good vibes) to tell polite adults twice their age to kick rocks. Beer was fine. Very cool space.

Stopped by for an amazing brew in Ohio City. This has a phenomenal mulched patio, welcoming lighting along the borders of it, with touches of the longest lasting pour house in Ohio inside. I tried the Bavarian pretzels. The salt and dough were in quite good combination for my traditional and Bavarian. The dips were mouth watering as well. It's an excellent addition to one having a Dunkel or Hefeweizen.

Hansa Brewery is a multifaceted establishment that includes a brewery, biergarten, and eatery. It offers a wide range of German-style beer and European cuisine in a modern setting with an outdoor patio. The brewery was established as an expansion of the well-known Hansa Import Haus, bringing German craft beer and delicious food to Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood.
So after cruising for patios in, and around, Cleveland we settled on Hansa for our Date Night Summer Patio Tour Night 2. First, and foremost, ignore the website as it is not accurate but PLEASE do not let that stop you from trying this establishment. The website pictures are beautiful and the restaurant is very nice but there is a sense of false advertising. When we walked in, on a Friday evening, there were four folks at the bar and a couple on the patio. Not a soul eating inside. Full disclosure, we were having second thoughts. Being a beer snob, I kinda settled that I wouldn’t leave without drinking at least one of their beers which got us seated. The young man that waited on us, I’d share his name but he did not give it, got us settled and brought us the menu which is pictured. I shit you not, that is the menu. He was well informed and well spoken related to the menu and the techniques related to the food preparation. His recommendations were spot on and wish I could credit him by name. I also shared the current beers the evening of our visit. The beers were fantastic. I began with J.U.G. Weissbier which was an excellent traditional Hefeweizen. My friend got the Black Flag, the Schwarzbier, also excellent. Our wives enjoyed a seltzer, that I didn’t take note of as it was canned, but it was enjoyed. My second beer of the night was their Lucky Barleywine (13.13%ABV), which was delicious and every ounce of 13%. Our meal was awesome, full stop. If we had left, we would have missed out. Our party of six shared appetizers of the German Pretzels and their Calamari. Both were excellent and easily shared. For our entrees, our party had; Traditional Pork Schnitzel (breaded and fried), French Orly Schnitzel (which was battered and fried turkey), German Meatloaf (bacon wrapped), and Legendary Chicken Paprikas. Every one of us loved our meals. Myself and my friend that both got the bacon wrapped meatloaf, wished the bacon was crispier but acknowledge that to do so would have dried out the meatloaf. It did come with a cream mushroom gravy that was tasty. The Schnitzels were a hit as were the sides of späzles. With all of the downtown eateries and excellent options on the Westside, it’d be easy to skip Hansa. Don’t. This place is worth a visit.

Parking is a real pain but worth it. Had the sausage platter also plain schnitzel with warm german potato salad, red cabbage, and spetzel. Beer was good, I got a christmas ale that was16.7% tasted like I was drinking a brandy. The gift shop, which is attached to the brewery, is a must stop. Lots of beers and wines / chocolates to choose from !

Great variety of quality German beer. The gentlemen behind the bar was the perfect host and added to our experience as he boasted about the many medals the brewery has won in competition. I really enjoyed the Schwartzbier, it was refreshing and delicious.

Absolutely delicious! Best chicken paprikash I've ever had. Though I was jealous of the pork shnitzel, which was equally delicious. Generous portions of spatzel too!

This family is so wonderfully friendly. Beer is so good. However- we lived in Germany for 3 years. The jagerschniztel was just okay. It came out unbreaded. It’s absolutely supposed to be breaded. The mushroom sauce was good, but it was definitely a surprise when the pork came out. Just expect that. The latkas (potato pancakes) and spaetzle were on point. Overall nice people and great place to hang out!
Danielle S — Google review
Excellent brewery and common room for a hearty lunch or dinner. Our lunch was excellent between the chicken noodle soup, Hansa burger, great fries and the Rueben eggrolls. The beers on tap were very good, and a half liter went down pretty quickly. They had at least six of their own on draft and a number of others to choose from. The waiter was ab absolute hoot and reminded us very much of the efficient German waitstaff in Germany. I am sure this would be a great place to hang out at night, or even out on the patio in the summer. We also took a stroll through the import store attached to the brewery and ended up walking out with way more than we expected. What a great place!

Wow! Hansa brewery is absolutely amazing!!! They have such incredible German food- please try their turkey schnitzel. It is cooked to perfection! Their spaetzles (tiny dumplings) are so unique and out of this world. This place is so clean. Yes, I posted a picture of their restroom to show you how immaculately well kept this place is. They have so much warmth. The owner and chef personally came out to ask how the food was, and it was absolutely amazing!!! Super delicious German beers - have you ever tried a dark sour??? What… I never did until I visited here. A 5 star brewery with fabulous food and unique German vibes. I can’t stop myself from going back for more…

We were visiting for the weekend and happened to find this place, thanks to the hour wait at great lakes brewery. I am extremely happy we ate and drank there. Not a very extensive menu but what they had was VERY GOOD. It was 5 of us and we all got something different. No one was disappointed. Now, to the beer. OMG! we all tried a variety and the beer is some of the best I have had anywhere! The portions were also very nice. We all highly recommend this place. When we come back to Cleveland, we will be back! Do yourself a favor and go enjoy the beer and food. Sorry, we were so hungry, we didn't get any photos.

Went to Brick and Barrel on St. Patty’s day and it looked like a super cozy spot to drink some brews. We got their flight and sampled the different brews. They have a pizza place (different restaurant) next door that offers some delicious Italian pizza as well as other Italian food. They also had some sandwiches for St. Patty’s day! They serve some bar snacks inside and everyone is super warm and welcoming.

This is a great craft brewery. They serve many of their own beers and some visiting beers from craft breweries nearby. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They answered all the questions about their beers that they brew. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. Inside of the establishment is very clean. Hofbräuhaus in Cleveland, Ohio is a German microbrewery and restaurant with a lively beer garden. The 450-seat Bavarian-style beer hall offers traditional German cuisine, tall mugs of beer, and live music, creating a vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of the original Hofbräuhaus in Munich. Located near Playhouse Square district, it's a popular spot for pre- and post-theater gatherings.
We stopped for a quick overnight stay to watch Hamilton and decided to give the restaurant a try and we are glad we did. We had a fantastic experience at Hofbräuhaus Cleveland! Our server, Lexie, was wonderful—very attentive and gave us excellent food recommendations. We especially loved the sauerkraut balls, goulash, and French fries. The beer on tap was top-notch as well. The atmosphere was so much fun, with international flags and live accordion music adding to the authentic vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a lively experience!

The Rocky River Brewing Co is a family-friendly gastropub with rotating house beers and an updated menu of burgers, pizza, pasta & sandwiches. Between Great Lakes and the explosion of craft breweries in the past decade, it is one of the few places in town to enjoy a wide variety of beer. The bar has a wood-paneled bar and restaurant with upscale casual decor and a variety of draft beers.
Stopped by for a bite to eat as family wanted to stop here. We were not terribly hungry, so got an order of wings and a pizza to split. Food was great, especially the wings; service was fast and efficient (and she was busy), and there were plenty of other choices to drink besides beer. Worth stopping by.
Jason P — Google review
In our never ending search for trying out new restaurants, we discovered the rocky river brewing company. We visited with a friend of ours on a Thursday evening. The parking lot was quite full so we were expecting a potential wait when we got in. Thankfully, there is a very large dining area and we got a table immediately. Our waitress stopped by quickly after we were seated and grabbed our drink order. The menu is quite diverse and it did take us a bit of time to each make our choice. I ended up going with their Bavarian Pretzel as an appetizer for the table and then the Italian Chopped Salad for the main meal with a side of French fries. My wife went with the tuna bowl and our friend ordered the goat cheese balls and the Thai chicken salad. Appetizers came out very quickly. The pretzel was giant and much larger than expected. The goat cheese balls were the hit of the night for the table though. The combination of the deep fried outside with the creamy cheese inside paired with the hot honey marmalade was fantastic. For our main entree's, overall I was happy with my salad but would have loved to see more actual protein in the dish. It was a decent sized salad overall but felt the actual meats were a bit skimped on compared the my wife's tuna bowl or my friends Thai chicken. We were much too full for desserts so we skipped that option during our visit. Given that this is brewery as well. The general vibe and atmosphere is very similar to places like fat heads. As such, the overall volume in places like this tends to be on the louder side. Not a place I would go if you are trying to have a quiet conversation as there were several tables around us being quite loud that made a normal indoor volume conversation difficult. You basically have to raise your voice in kind to those around you to be able to talk at your table. Overall, a restaurant we would visit again in the future for sure. The quality of the food was great and we would imagine other options on the menu to be just as good as what we had as a result.

Food and beer is really good. The blueberry beer is really good but the punch in the nuts is the absolute best. It has the best peanut butter flavor ever!!! So dreamy!!! Their grouper with the potato and sweet potato matchsticks is superb and cooked to absolute perfection!!! Their holy frijoles burger with the house made mango salsa is fabulous!!! I wish they had more beer selections.

Rocky River brewing is one of the best spots to eat and get drink in all of Cleveland. The food is always good I frequent here a lot maybe once or twice a month (best time to go is patio season! Their patio is amazing!!). Their beer is also very good, always have their staple beers and then a good variety of seasonal beers. I highly recommend their buckets (wings, mini burgers, and fries) can't beat them! If you are visiting the area or live nearby, bar/brewery is something you like I HIGHLY recommend this place
Zak P — Google review
I ate outside at the Rocky River Brewing Company with a large family group and it was the perfect summer night spot! The outdoor seating is so lovely, and the food and (most) drinks were delicious. Everyone I was with liked the beers they ordered, but I would not recommend the flavored lemonades (because they just taste like cheap strawberry syrup). The waiting staff could have been a little more friendly but overall this was an enjoyable experience! The music playing over the speakers, while at times a bit loud, was enjoyable as well. Definitely check this restaurant out for a great outdoor summer night spot.

The ribs were the best I've ever had, just delicious. I got broccoli instead of fries. I like to watch calories that way. The service was top-notch, and the beer was fresh and clean. Working Class Brewery is a local craft beer spot founded by Richard Skains, an experienced brewer with a passion for creating high-quality beers. The brewery offers a variety of flavorful options, including handmade reuben eggrolls and non-alcoholic brews. Customers appreciate the friendly and efficient service provided by Faith, who often runs the bar solo. The establishment has developed an impressive selection of sour beers over the years and also features live music events.
I love going to Working Class Brewery. It’s a great place to enjoy a cold brew after a hard days work. They have a huge selection of beers and the brewer takes a lot of pride and puts in tons of love to create every single unique brew. This brewery feels like home. And, who can forget about good sweet Odie - he’s such a sweetheart. The place would not be the same without him.

Pretzel was okay but was disappointed to find out pizzas were not being served on one of the days they should have been. Never been to a place that worries about the cost of electricity - sort of worrysome as a customer that the electric bill is an issue. What really led to this one star review was the waitress/bartender and the overall atmosphere. I did not go on too busy of any afternoon. Someone could have easily just left without paying for the food. Service was slow for a weekend. Soda was served as a can without any glass of ice. Upon entering, all I could see were boxes and kegs everywhere - very cluttered. We were not greeted by anyone, including the bartender. It was not clear we had to order at the bar. I wish to support local businesses but right now, I would not recommend this brewery. I did not taste the beer as I just wanted some good food. I hope some changes can be made to address this feedback. A nicer atmosphere, friendlier/attentive front of house, and accurate menu would help this local spot.

Good beer, nice atmosphere, and fun workers make for a very enjoyable place. Fat Head's Brewery is an airy, industrial-style brewery known for its pub grub and craft draft beer selection, which includes seasonal options. Since its founding in 2009, the brewery has garnered a remarkable 47 Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup medals. From its production facility/Beer Hall in Middleburg Hts., Ohio, Fat Heads offers a diverse portfolio of beers, from IPAs to Hefeweizens to fruit beers and seasonal brews.
This place is HUGE! I've been to the other location in N. Canton and its no where near the size this one is. It has really good food and the drinks were spot on. Its really cool that you can give yourself a tour around the brewery to learn how their beer is made and you can see all the production equipment ad well. Our server was very nice and the wait to get in was only about 10 minutes. Ill be back for sure.

First off this place is massive. It's has to seat at least 200 people. But even though this place could seat an army the food is really good. The sandwhiches are incredible and large. Like really large. When they call them headwhiches they are not kidding. The pulled pork was great with a very nice vinager bbq sauce. Pork was more in chunks which I appreciate but some people do prefer the more finely shredded. So just be aware of that if your order it. The club sandwhich was also very good and the biggest we tried. The ham does over power the turkey on it though it tastes more of a ham and cheese sandwich. But still very tasty. The standout was the fish it was genuinely incredible very crispy. With a really nice slaw and tarter sauce. If I did anything I would add cheese to it but it really does not need it. The pretzel here is great light and fluffy with 3 great dipping sauces. The beers here are great qithba large variety made in house. The root beer here is very sassafras heavy which i really enjoyed. It was great as a float. But this place has a walking tour of there brewery which is really interesting youbhave to do n it atheist once. It also includes a gift shop. So if you want fat heads merchandise in your life they have got you covered. From bobble heads to wall art. It's absolutely worth a stop by here when you're in the area.

The experience was fine, there was nothing outstanding to note but also nothing overly negative as well. We went on a weekend night and service was normal per that time of the week and day. The beers were okay but you could tell they needed to flush their draft lines a little more, some of the beers had a lingering taste of a leftover keg. As far as the food goes, everything looked good but unfortunately, our hot items were cold. We sent back the brussel salad but that was only because we did not realize it came with Blu cheese and that is something we personally do not enjoy, no fault to the restaurant; the server was very kind and swapped it out for their broccoli side salad instead. One thing that was off-putting was that they were out of to-go cups and our server gave us a soup container for our NA Rootbeer, unfortunately, as we were walking to our car, it kept sloshing around and spilling onto my husband's hands so we just dumped it in the grass.

I’d driven past this location numerous times and finally got a chance to check it out. The tap selection was large and diverse, and the food was really good! TownHall in Cleveland is a popular spot for both locals and celebrities, including Cleveland Cavaliers players. The restaurant prides itself on being the city's first GMO-free eatery and offers a diverse menu with options for vegans, vegetarians, and those following paleo diets. On Mondays, TownHall features a separate vegan menu, while vegan and vegetarian dishes are also available throughout the week. The restaurant emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and serves innovative bar bites alongside Mexican-inspired fast-casual staples.
We visited TownHall, and although it was super busy, the overall experience was enjoyable. We had to wait around 25-35 minutes to get a table, but the lively atmosphere and cool ambiance made up for it. I really loved how they designed the space—it’s stylish and welcoming. Our server, Heina, was very kind and attentive, which made the service even better. We ordered plenty of food, and everything was well-prepared and satisfying. Despite the wait, we had a great time and would definitely consider coming back. It’s a fun spot for a casual hangout or meal!

What a great find! So many GF and vegetarian options, and very accommodating for other special diets. Good kids meal options and awesome sushi. Great drink menu as well. The Ocean roll was our favorite, our kids loved the California with real crab. Our server was very attentive and helpful with the special diets for our kids. Only negative - there were some errors on our bill and we were surprised to see a credit card transaction fee on our receipt that we were not told about ahead of time. So I guess bring cash if that’s not your thing. Overall, I appreciate the health conscious approach, the unique flavors and fun vibe. Definitely give it a try!

This is a nice brew pub! They had a large selection of beer and a good menu. The dip trio was great, and the chicken sandwich had good flavor. The fries were fantastic.

TownHall brings together clean, health-conscious food with a lively, stylish atmosphere. The menu offers something for everyone—vegan, keto, gluten-free—without sacrificing flavor. Their focus on organic and locally sourced ingredients stands out. I’ve been during both quiet mornings and busy nights. Mornings feel calm and relaxed, great for coffee or a meeting. At night, it’s much more social—sometimes loud, but always full of energy. Service can vary depending on the crowd, but overall it’s solid. The Old Fashioned is well-balanced—strong, smooth, just a touch of sweetness. Definitely one of the better ones in the city. Great spot if you care about what you eat and want a place that feels modern without being cold.

First time with group of 8. Seafood Asian style bowls and sushi was fresh and delicious. Presentation was 5 star. Many restaurants have great food but presentation is key to separating oneself from VG to Excellent. Service VG for group who had some people from out of town late arrivals. Server did not miss a beat. People with more traditional food such as steak bites and cheeseburger were happy. But those who went with restaurants targeted healthy bowls and seafood bowls hit the mark. From East Coast and every bit as good as East seashore. Recommended. Drinks pricey so select whiskeys and bourbons with care as prices medium to high.

Great spot for brunch in Cleveland! Lots of really good healthy food options with some heavy exotics if you’re feeling froggy. Steak and Eggs were cooked perfectly and delicious. Longevity Shakes were spectacular and the Bone Broth is a must.

TownHall is such a great restaurant. I immediately was engrossed in the live moss decorations on the wall. There were several plants all throughout the restaurant. TownHall offers seating on the front sidewalk, inside the restaurant and on the patio. There are tons of vegan options as well. The food was delicious. The chicken and rice noodles each had their own flavors that worked well together. The portions were sizeable for the price.

The atmosphere was beautiful, upon entrance no greeting, we were not sat we ordered at the front then they brought it out. The girl who assisted us could not really communicate with me and my friend very well. Overall customer server was very disappointing . Food was delicious, I got the build your own bowl, and the hibiscus drink. The drink was not good for me, might be someone else’s favorite though. Not cheap either so for the customer service with the price it wasn’t worth it for me.

American restaurant
Winking Lizard Downtown Cleveland is a relaxed neighborhood chain pub located inside the Galleria at 1301 East 9th St. It offers classic American food, an extensive beer selection, and sports on TV. The menu features a variety of chicken wing flavors, including the extremely hot Fire in the Hole and unique options like Thai chili sauce mixed with honey & garlic.
Nice food selection. Burgers were excellent. Steak fries are always delicious. Good variety of beers to choose from. Local sports crowd when there are games. Plenty of televisions throughout. Service was good, quick, attentive. I will note that one of the burgers we ordered did come out extra rare and had to be sent back. The waitress was apologetic and got it taken care of quickly. Overall, I would recommend :-)

We visited on a Thursday afternoon in mid-April 2025 for lunch. We had just eaten the previously at the location in Peninsula and had a great experience. However this location was not the best. Service started out great. We were happy to find out that we could do carry out with the daily specials, which is burgers for Thursdays. We placed our order and instead of waiting in the cramp sitting area with small wooden chairs while other patrons were coming it, we took a seat just outside the restaurant but inside the building it was in. There is a bunch of soft sofas in the lobby area still in perfect view of restaurant. They said it would be about 20 mins. We sat there for exactly 20 mins and went in and the food was already ready and just sitting behind the counter. We had no idea how long it was sitting there but we were kind of in a hurry to get back to the museum. There were 3 staff working the front and very few patrons in the restaurant. A little upset not one of them walked out to let us know our food was ready but probably watched all of us just sitting there on the couches/benches. They were nice and pleasant but it was just the extra foresight to be like oh, maybe I should let them know it's ready because they are just sitting over there. I could give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe they were all busy doing something else and didn't make that connection. We took our food to eat outside as there are picnic areas at the nearby park with the big "FREE" stamp. We got all the way there and took the food out and realized that they had never put the ranch in that we asked for and the extra ranch too that was written on the receipt. The hostess who took our order even made multiple comments about it with my wife. It was a couple blocks away and we did not want to walk all the way back just for ranch. I also opened my large Deluxe Pizza which I also ordered from the other Winking Lizard location in Peninsula and this one was much more under whelming. There was maybe half the amount of toppings as the other restaurant. Disappointing knowing what it could be like and what I ended up getting. I'm going to conclude this review with a, your mileage may vary and depending on which location you're going to you may have different experiences as well. If this was my first experience with Winking Lizard I probably would try something else next time.

had dinner at Winking Lizard Tavern in Cleveland and really enjoyed most of the experience. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Spinach Salad, and it was excellent — fresh greens, flavorful chicken, and a great balance of spice and texture. It’s definitely something I’d order again. At the table, we shared the Bavarian Pretzels, which were a huge hit. They came with both beer cheese sauce and mustard, and everyone at the table loved them — perfectly soft and warm with just the right amount of salt. The combination of the pretzels with the dipping sauces made for a great starter to share. One of the biggest highlights of the evening was the music. The playlist was awesome — upbeat, familiar songs that gave the place great energy without being too loud. Honestly, the music alone set the tone for a fun and laid-back night and was probably my favorite part of the experience. The overall vibe of Winking Lizard is casual and friendly — definitely a great spot to hang back with friends, grab some drinks, and enjoy good food in a lively atmosphere. It has that classic tavern feel with a local touch, and you can tell it’s a popular hangout. The only real downside was the customer service. Our waitress was a bit lackluster — not rude, just disengaged and slow to check in. It didn’t ruin the night, but it was noticeable compared to the otherwise positive vibe of the place. All in all, Winking Lizard is a fun, casual spot with great food, fantastic music, and a comfortable atmosphere. I’d definitely go back — especially for the Cajun chicken salad and those pretzels — but I’d hope for a little more attentiveness from the staff next time.

Went here with my family after going to the science center as a lunch plan. So to be completely honest everything was completely average. NOTE I got a chicken Cajan sandwich and there was NO Cajan seasoning on the sandwich so it was basically just a grilled chicken sandwich with mediocre taste. Only about half of the other 8 people said their food was good the rest said it was bare minimum taste. The appetizers were the best tasting here. Overall I can’t recommend this restaurant go somewhere else and get your moneys worth.

Waited more than 45 minutes to receive our food for a table of four (4 entree’s and 2 sides of wings). The restaurant was not incredibly busy—normal or perhaps a tad bit light for a Saturday evening. Waiter brought our drinks and didn’t stop by again until after the food runner brought our food. Pretzel beer cheese burger was good. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend.

Southern Tier Brewery Cleveland is a new addition to the city's beer scene, originating from Lakewood, N.Y. The taproom offers a unique experience with a dining room on the main floor and a more relaxed bar and lounge area downstairs among the aging beer barrels. Their seasonal brews include dessert-themed options like creme brulee and s'mores stouts, as well as an imperial cinnamon roll ale.
We had our wedding reception as a private event downstairs at Southern Tier Brewery, and it was absolutely perfect! The space is beautiful—modern spacious, and such a fun atmosphere for celebrating. Kelsey, the event sales manager, was incredible to work with from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and truly made the entire planning process stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to the entire team for making our day so special!

First off, I wanna say that Kelsey, Alicia, and her staff are rockstars!!.. We had our son's rehearsal dinner there on Thursday. Kelsey was very accommodating and helpful with the preparations. As a former person that worked in the service industry for over 20 yrs. I can say this was top of the line service. Then at the last minute we had to change the venue for our wedding reception. To the rescue came Kelsey!!.. After being informed that we were in a bind, She offered us the space that we needed. And after a quick turnaround that day, they knocked it out the park!!.. I highly recommend going there to pregame , date night, or just going to hang out. Very dope vibe!!.. Thank you again for coming to the rescue team.

I’m from Maryland. I ordered the Cajun honey wings and they weren’t hot and had a drizzle of honey. The wings were also unseasoned and bland. The fish and fries were ok. Fries were decent, but got soggy from the fish sitting on top. Fish was unseasoned & bland. Jalapeño cheese pierogis were bland, bacon and jalapeños were a topping. Nice crisp, but unseasoned. Brisket tacos had decent slaw, but the brisket was bland, unseasoned. Overall, it’s a ripoff. Find better because the food has no taste. **The menu has limited options.

The brewery also accommodates private events with catering options available. Visitors can expect great food, drinks, and friendly service at this establishment.
The food was incredible!!! Burgers, chickens, fries, and pretzel with all the dips - yum! Cucumber salad was a bit underwhelming. We ate indoors and it was uncomfortably warm. Will definitely be back - when it’s colder out. 😁

One of our absolute favorites in Lakewood. The on-tap ale selection is excellent, the ciders and meads are exceptional - especially the meads. And there’s this really wonderful setup with a separate kitchen, Eugene’s, that has a small and amazingly good menu with awesome fries (crispy and pillowy like they always should be and rarely are) and as good a habañero sauce as you’ll find anywhere. First rate burger. A must stop.

West Side Market, established in 1912, is a vibrant and historic public market offering a wide array of goods such as meat, produce, bread, and hot food. The market originally had 109 stalls with additional storage added later. Many of the stalls are still operated by families who have been there since its opening, while others are run by vendors from various parts of the world.
West Side Market is a true Cleveland treasure! The historic atmosphere combined with a wide variety of vendors makes every visit exciting. From fresh produce and artisan meats to baked goods and international flavors, the selection is incredible. The quality and uniqueness of the offerings set it apart from typical grocery shopping. Whether you’re grabbing local specialties or discovering something new, it’s always a great experience. A must-visit for food lovers!

My husband lived in Cleveland when we met and took me here when we were dating. I love this market. The produce is so fresh and all the different foods are so amazingly good. And anything we've bought has always been reasonably priced. We live in Nevada now, but when we come back yo Cleveland to visit, we always stop here. Our favorite counter to visit is Narrin's counter. She makes and sells her own dry spices that we just LOVE! She's a local, so all of it is made in Cleveland.

If you visit the area, don’t miss this experience!

It is good, and lot of vendors, but for me more hot food options would attract more people, good pastries options and veggies, fruits, washroom available, water fountain by the washroom. Seating area on the top floor for better view of the market and pictures. Great area around. Crafts market across the street. Check for hours. Free parking around, and free entrance.

West Side Market gave me the nostalgic feeling of traditional markets you usually find in the Middle East—lively, full of character, and rich with the smell of fresh produce and spices. The architecture is beautiful, and wandering through the aisles brought back memories of old-style bazaars. I especially loved the variety of pastries and sweets—really delicious! It can get a bit crowded, but that’s part of the charm. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Cleveland.

If you're a pierogi enthusiast, you need to check out Beerhead during Pierogi Week in Cleveland! Their creative takes on a Northeast Ohio classic dish are absolutely delicious. The BBQ beef, arugula balsamic, and pierogi pizza were all mouthwatering. The Velvet Tango Room is a sophisticated cocktail bar located in Cleveland, Ohio, between the Ohio City and Tremont neighborhoods. Despite its upscale atmosphere, it's a great spot to enjoy craft cocktails and small plates while listening to live jazz music. Since its opening in 1996, this elegant establishment has become known for its commitment to classic drink-making techniques and grown-up ambiance. It has even garnered national recognition as one of the best bars in America by Esquire magazine.
Came for the cookies & cocktails workshop. Nicely done. The speaker was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about bourbon. Beautifully decorated in the backroom for the holidays as well. Staff was pleasant and engaging as usual. Drinks were tasty as well. Can't wait to come back!

The drink I had was pretty good, but for the price, it didn't blow me away. I tried to ask the server for a recommendation, which went no where. For a place of this caliber I would expect them to be able to talk a little more confidently about the drinks.

Where do I even begin. My husband and I were looking for something to do on our weekend getaway Thursday night. After searching up a few places we decided to try a new place. So it being our first time there we really didnt know what to expect. When we got there we walked in, rather than being greeted and seated like most places would the hostess ( Michelle) just stared at us like we were bothering her. After an extremely awkward minute we just went and sat at the bar. Mind you she wasn’t doing anything other than just standing there. After we had sat down we waited, after maybe 5-7 minutes Michelle half handed half shoved a menu in my direction. As we were looking over what we wanted she was also getting us water, which she put in front of us. I smiled and said thank you, now at this point i really am not expecting any type of good service due to how she was acting but i wasnt expecting a complete eye roll and sigh, im sorry but common manners??? At that point we really should have just left, we debated it, not a single hello or acknowledgment from anyone other than the hostess who CLEARLY had better things to do than to be bothered with us. We finally got our drinks, which I have really nothing bad to say about other than I can make better cocktails at home. As we were drinking them Michelle kept staring at us, whispering to the barback and pointing at us. I tried to brush it off but the level of disrespect was unreal. To top it off a group of men came in, 3 of them and got greeted with a very friendly Hello and they sat down at the bar next to us, they got immediate service, everyone was talking and friendly to them, the kind of service that should be given equally to anyone who comes in. We very quickly left after that. I absolutely will not be returning to this place and quite frankly if you want a place that is friendly and welcoming dont go here. I will always recommend someone to go to Cloak and Dagger which is only about 5 minutes away. That place has more charm then this place ever will, along with free shots as a welcome

Prosperity Social Club is a retro-style bar located in the Tremont neighborhood of Ohio. The bar features vintage beer signs, checkered floors, and has deep Polish roots. It was originally opened in 1938 by the Dembrowski family and has since been taken over by new owners. The ambiance is described as tastefully kitsch with a retro style throughout, including an arcade bowling machine.
Delicious food! We had the chicken paprikash and the cabbage rolls (polish style). We started with the fried pepper jack triangles which I will be getting next time I go they’re so yummy. I also got a side of mac and cheese. Delicious and fun cocktails, a diverse menu, great vibes. The only thing I didn’t love was the Mac and cheese, it was too oily and not as creamy as I would have liked.

The crunchiness, juiciness, cheesiness works so well together that it creates a sandwich that you cannot stop thinking about. I will definitely be coming back to Prosperity Social Club and I hope that others do too, because this is certainly a place that keeps the late night scene alive, especially if you’re trying to avoid Townhall.

I loved the place! Such an amazing vibe and delicious food. Our server was so lovely although she had so much to do at once. Always smiling and had time to stop by and ask if everything’s fine. Bare minimum lots of places don’t have.

I can't say enough good things about Prosperity Social Club. First - the bartenders/ servers are hands down just the best. For the past year, this is our favorite spot. We are here probably 1-2 times a week and have never had a bad experience with the staff. Everyone is so friendly. The food is great! Their cheese triangles with raspberry aioli is a must try. I LOVE their cocktail menu. The atmosphere is so comforting. It really takes you back.

Our first time at Prosperity and we will definitely be back! When we first walked in, it was warm and cozy with the wood burning fireplace. The employees were also welcoming and very nice. We had the sausage nachos which were so delicious! Perfect balance of sweet and heat. We also had the cabbage rolls with the Hungarian sauce. So good! I mean, we wanted to lick the plate good! Can’t wait to go back! Already talking about what to get next time !

City Tap Cleveland is a lively spot that offers classic pub fare and a happy hour, along with an impressive selection of 40 draft beers and 60 bottle/can options. Situated in the vibrant area of Playhouse Square, it serves as a paradise for sports and beer enthusiasts. The venue features both indoor and outdoor seating, making it an ideal choice for late-night gatherings.
Great spot to watch games, or pre-game before a game or concert. There is a big beer list with a bunch of local ones. The food is standard bar food...liked the Fire Breather Burger. Service is pretty quick and attentive. Plenty of TVs around. Decent amount of seating inside and some outside...but definitely gets crowded pre-game. I go pretty often.

Stopped in for a bite to eat once we got to town. A fun spot with t.v.s and music. The food was good and they have great service!
Natalie K — Google review
I'm not sure what I was expecting, which is why I'm generously giving 4 stars. I wasn't expecting this, though. I think this place is a true sports bar. I didn't know that. Someone told me they have good burgers, and they're hand pattied. My husband hears or reads about a good burger, and he has to try it. So you go in, the music is blaring. There will be no conversation. The seating is all angled and oddly placed, so you may be able to watch the game, or you may not be able to. Because of the way the seating is placed, you may get a piece of a bar to eat your food at, a full table, or wing it. We found a regular table in the back. You seat yourself, scan the QR code for the menu, and then go to the bar to order. There is no service. If you need something, you go to the bar. The only service is there or when they bring out your food. That's it! My husband ordered the Western Burger. I didn't get a great pic, but he said it was really good. It was loaded with bacon. Not like 1 piece cut in half. It had about 4 good, crispy pieces on it. He said he would absolutely buy it again. My son ordered wings. He said they were good. I ordered chicken tenders, and they sucked. The fries are the real winners, tho. They were so amazing. Some of the best fries I've ever had.

A loud, bustling sports bar right next to the fieldhouse with great burgers and extensive drink options. After running through the snowy streets of Playhouse Square searching for any place with an open kitchen, a noisy oasis opened its doors for us. Inside was a bustling crowd of post-game Cavaliers fans enjoying the holiday evening. Tables are all first come first served and you order food at the bar. We were lucky enough to snag a too large table for our group of three but happily traded it to a larger group for the smaller table they had found. For this busy night, they were running a limited menu. The bartender was patient with me as I figured out food and drink while he had plenty to take care of. As we settled into our seats with our drinks, the food was brought up to us not long after. We were hungry and had put in a lot of work to get to this moment. The burger not only hit the spot, it obliterated it. I quickly wolfed down the burger and fries. It wasn’t the easiest visit of the weekend, but it was a great way to cap it all off. Go here if you’re looking for that lively sports bar experience. The place is massive and has two floors and you’re never far from a TV.

We had dinner there before the Eric Clapton concert last night. Best burgers we’ve had in a very long time. We got there early so it wasn’t very busy but definitely hopping when we left.

Wonderful inner city craft beer bar and restaurant. At least 40 different and unique craft beers. Different styles from ales, to wheats, to IPAs to BBA stouts! Their wings were coated and actually, meat fell off of the bone! Wonderful decor or lighted liquor bottles and all sorts of Cleveland athlete bobbleheads on display
Rob — Google review
The bar has a great variety of beers, through the spectrum of styles. I took 2 milkshake smoothie beers that were amazing. The bartenders know a lot about beers, and looked very professional making cocktails.

Ok bar. They were packed after a Guardians game. Nothing special in my opinion. They have a long bar and lots of drafts. The cool thing was all the bobbleheads. The pretzel bites were pretty good.

The Jolly Scholar is a casual bar and kitchen located on a campus, offering a wide variety of pub food along with their own brewed beers. They are known for their high-quality beer selection, particularly the "Cold Beer Here!" American Lager and "Henry's Law (Wheat IPA)" White/Wheat IPA. The focus of their brewing is on IPAs and Pale Lagers.
We stopped by for early dinner before going to the Cleveland Orchestra. It was a bit difficult to find the place for the first time but the food was good and reasonable and they seemed to have lots of beer. We had Grilled Cheese & Sweet Potato Fries (potato fries came with powdered sugar), and Fried Fish Sandwich & Onion Rings. Just adding a couple of dollars and being able to change from regular fries to different sides was nice.

If you get hungry/thirsty while checking out the outstanding art collection at the Cleveland Institute of Art, consider taking a short walk (6 minutes) over to the Student Union at Case Western Reserve and sample their craft beers and delicious pub food. Just don't order the Faberge Egg.

Loved this place. Had an appointment across the road and popped in after for an early dinner. The garlic butter pretzels were the best I've ever had. The flavors were incredibly complimentary! The BBQ quesadilla was perfect. The only thing missing was some wet napkins! (I ordered with no black beans) Partner got the Mac n cheese burger. He said the Mac n cheese on top was great and he loved that it was a little crispy. We will be going back again!

A quiet sports bar to chill on a hot summer day across from Seidman Cancer Center on Euclid Ave and behind the student center of CWRU in Thwing Center. Nice selection from the tap with flight 4oz for $2!

Ordered takeout and ordered ahead. Multiple of the orders were wrong, and not ready. We had to wait more over 30 minutes for the food. I understand that there are a lot of takeout orders but prioritizing the people that ordered an hour before hand would have been nice

Awesome location, it sits on CWRU. The actual brewpub is located inside Thwing Center. You will need to park on the street surrounding or you could park in the university hospital parking ramp and walk over. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, spacious and great music 🎶 🎵. Service was prompt and welcoming. I'd recommend checking this place out for a drink or a milkshake!

When I first looked up this place I didn't realize it was an on campus restaurant/ bar. Unfortunately, everything from the service to the quality of the food was what you'd expect from an on-campus college restaurant. Service: The waitress was bad. I'm talking real bad, Michael Jackson. She wasn't rude in fact she was quite nice but she was running around like it was her first week on the job (we later confirmedshe had been there a few months), messing up orders not bringing food out forgetting about drinks. One of the people at my table literally had to wait about 45 mins for her food (pizza) and drink. The drinks were taking so long some of us went directly to the bar and got drinks right away. When I asked the bartender why he said it was because he serves his bar customers first since they tip him directly we tip the servers. Food: It was bad. Wings were fried hard, my wife's food came out ice cold. Finally when it came time to leave the waitress wouldn't show up to bring the checks. She brought one check but there were about 8 of us. So we waited about 30 mins to get checks but then they were all wrong. Had to literally write out what we ordered and wait around another 30 mins for her to correct the check. Finally they had a nerve to put an automatic 18% gratuity on our checks for that terrible service. The only good thing about my experience was that my drink was good. If the sever was able to get drinks out in a timely fashion, I would have ordered another. ***5/11 - Review edited/updated. I visited again and sat at the bar this time. The service was much better and the two items I ordered pretzels and burger tasted decent. The drinks were good ad they were the first time and for a good price.

Buckeye Beer Engine is a lively tavern in Lakewood, known for its extensive beer selection and creative burgers. It's a popular spot for 'Sunday Funday' with a DIY Bloody Mary Bar during Sunday brunch. In addition to their wide variety of beers, they also serve delicious butter burgers and poutine. Customers have praised the flavorful food, such as the cream cheese and banana stuffed French toast and the corned beef hash breakfast.
This is a bar/restaurant it’s definitely worth trying out. They had a good-sized beer menu. They set up was nice. My wife and I loved the food. We got a burger special that was on a sub roll. Apparently it’s like a Mr. Hero burger- but it was great! We got sweet potato fries- which were also very good. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. The chicken was big and had a good amount of breading on it. I felt the breading itself could have used more flavor. It felt like the missing piece to turn a very good sandwich into a great sandwich. But, overall- a very good restaurant worth trying. In everything we ate, we felt like they cared about what they were doing.

Chloe R. was awesome. The food is great. We had the schnitzel dinner tonight and it wasn’t exactly to our liking - but the burgers are great! Great beer. Great food. Would highly recommend.

We went for brunch on Sunday, and had a mixed experience. Their website was a little confusing since there were multiple menus (one to order from and one just to look at), but when we arrived the menu was different than what we saw online. They also advertise a Bloody Mary bar starting at 10:00 AM, which was one of the main reasons we went, but when we got there we were told they can’t serve liquor until 11:00 AM. That was pretty disappointing. We ended up getting a grapefruit mimosa and a beer instead. For food, we ordered the breakfast poutine and the Tuscan omelette which both were really good. Overall, everything we ate was tasty, but I wish the menu and bar details were advertised more clearly to avoid confusion.

After reading a lot of recent bad reviews I was hesitant to go but my partner and I decided to try it anyways. We got the perogies as an appetizer and they were so delicious! Then I got the chicken paprikash and my partner had the cheese steak sandwich. We both loved are meals! The atmosphere was bar scene but laid back. I know some people had made complaints about wait staff, and I can see where they are coming from. This isn’t Chick-fil-A. These are people and I don’t need them to smile or make small talk to have a good dinner. Keep up the great work! We both said we would come back again🙂

Got 3 5oz tasters. Waitress told me bar manager told her to only fill the glasses half way. I know what a 5oz cocktail looks like and that absolutely wasnt a 5oz taster. Also how are the 6 top tables still have those leafs on them so you cant keep anything on them because they slant. Food was great tho.

Boss Dog Brewing Co. is an industrial-style hangout that offers a wide selection of house-brewed beers and hearty bar bites, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Since taking over the space in 2017, this microbrewery has become known for its standout brews and delicious food options such as candied bacon pizza, chicken fried duck, and potato pancake chicken salad sandwich.
What a great spot and the kids loved it too. We sat out on the patio and had the nicest server. We were super surprised by the pizza....definitely dough made by them and not the cardboard that we've seen around town. Great selection of beers. They were out of the Jobu, which I heard a lot about so I guess we'll have to come back!

The food here is amazing!! Far exceeded my expectations, even after reading all the great reviews. Delicious flavor combinations- the salmon was perfectly cooked, and the portobello mushroom burger was to die for. Great beer selection and incredible service. This place is a must for anyone visiting Cleveland- we are very jealous of the locals who can enjoy it anytime!

Food is okay, nothing special. It's obvious the kitchen staff are fine with serving average food. I ordered the perogies. The presentation was underwhelming: four mini perogies with sauteed onions and mushrooms on the side. The plated food was a disappointment. It would be better to serve two or three regular sized perogies. My lavender lemonade was good. My husband's cheese burger was fine-nothing special. The fries were good. With a little effort, the food could be so much better.

EDIT: My apologies for saying this restaurant charges extra for using a credit card. Apparently, they do not. I asked the server if a fee was charged, and he replied that there is one. I asked if we would see it on the bill and he said no. He must have misunderstood my question. It's a question I ask routinely now that many restaurants are charging fees for using credit cards so I can decide whether to pay with cash or credit. I hope your restaurant will not adopt this practice in the future. Again, my apologies. ************" This restaurant serves average food with average service in a large, uncomfortable industrial-like setting. I would not recommend for couples or a small group. Would be nice for a large, casual group because there's a lot of room to move around. The seating is either a cold metal chair or a hard wooden bench. They do have a patio which is nice in the summer simply because it's outside. I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't speak for the beer. Wine by the glass choices are better than the average brewery. Prices are good.

Came here late Sunday morning for lunch and beers. The experience exceeded my expectations. To get here, you turn onto a side street which takes you to an alley which takes you to a small outdoor parking lot and a large parking garage. The parking is free in the lot and garage. Lots of parking! The brewery has a large, clean, nicely laid out patio with lots of tables, a bar and a couple of TVs. It is awesome! Inside the place is modern industrial, spacious up and around, clean, eye pleasing and comfortable. Lots of tables and lots of seats at the bar. I was greeted by Pedro, a very friendly, welcoming, dude who knows the beers, the food menu and the neighborhood very well. I was also greeted by Bridget, also very friendly, welcoming and knows the beer and food menus very well. They accommodated me very well, provided prompt service, and went over and beyond good service. Great folks who do great work! I got two beer flights, four beers each. They had three barrel aged stouts, a Chardonnay barrel aged Belgian Tripel, and several IPAs and hazy IPAs. All of their beers are bold, made well, delicious of course and never boring. I cannot wait to come back and try more of their beers! Amazing is an understatement. For lunch I had the Jobu Burger. Large burger patty cooked well and juicy, cheddar cheese, candied bacon, BBQ sauce and Jalapeno pepper slices. Big, bold, tons of good flavor, filling and a little messy. Don’t worry it was worth it, and Bridget got me some moist towelettes to clean my BBQ sauce covered fingers. Other burger places have NOTHING on the Jobu Burger let me tell you! I got a side of fries with the Jobu for a few more bucks- crusty outside, tender inside, cooked perfectly. Chef Gordon Ramsey would be blown away! The men’s bathroom was clean and also modern industrial. The only thing I did not like? When I had to leave. Seriously. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Pedro, Bridget and staff for an awesome experience!

My western style burger was sent out without the fried crispy onions on it. The kitchen didn't notify me when I ordered it. I would have just ordered something else. But the bartender made it worth it. I wasn't completely happy, but the drinks were good and so was the service.

Fantastic experience all around. The beer slingers behind the bar take good care of you. The beers are solid and the food is decent as well. The location is really trendy and the space has a great modern vibe! Definitely another great Cleveland brewery that is doing all the right things. Lots of nods to the movie Major League here, as well. Jobu is on the shelf and quite a few beers are taken from the movie.

Although some patrons miss certain dishes that are no longer available, others appreciate the new additions to the menu such as the fresh fennel-citrus salad.
My first time at the brewery and I was very impressed! It was busy but we sat at the bar right away. They had a great selection of brews on tap so I decided to go with a flight. My favorite is still the kölsch. It pairs so well with the schnitzel! The pork belly appetizer was delicious and had a spicy kraut/slaw that I couldn’t get enough of! We also ordered the Nashville hot schnitzel sandwich with fries. The sandwich was fantastic and gigantic! The fries were also hot, crisp and super fluffy. I wanted the Nashville hot sauce on the schnitzel haus salad and the bar tender was super nice about adding it. Service was quick and staff was great! Highly recommend a visit!!

Excellent food, fun atmosphere, great service, I love this place. Some of the best chicken wings in town, smoked and flavorful, I can eat them without sauce. The sausage platter is great. Had the blackened walleye recently on the Lenten menu and that slapped as well. The brewery is great, the beers are really good from all categories. They also do a nice job with mixed drinks, my wife loved the espresso martini. Pistachio macarons were a nice little dessert.

Took pops there for an early Father's Day. Super service and great food. A lot tho. Both the hubby and my dad had the hot Nashville chicken. I had a salad. Note, get the dressing on the side. It was a lot. We also shared a big pretzel. That thing was bugger than my head! Needless to say we brought food home. I'm not sure how pops ate his entire plate. Oh, and I had a peanut butter porter that was awesome! Definitely going back.

Ambiance: Great vibe — casual, modern, and welcoming. The lighting and TVs make it a good hangout spot for both food and drinks. Service: Shoutout to our server who was super friendly and personable! He made us feel welcome right away and offered helpful suggestions for us first-timers. Somehow the kitchen or server forgot to bring out our appetizer. Food: • Pork Sandwich was the highlight — full of flavor and cooked just right. • Fries were a little disappointing — cold and lacking crispiness or seasoning. • Empanadas looked great, but the flavor didn’t quite match the presentation. The filling needed more seasoning or a flavor boost. Drinks: nicely served. Overall, we’d go back to sample a few other things on the menu because some food items were hit or miss, but the service and vibe was nice.

We ordered the pretzel appetizer (average) and beef empanada (better than home made!).. main courses were the Chris P Bacon sammich (great BBQ pork, bacon, onion straws) which packed some heat! Some crazy delicious double burger loaded with cheese that I can't even remember the name of.. and a veggie noodle bowl with a slice of vegan pizza that she said was to die for! The mixed drinks were 10/10 and the mango flavor added to the Prosecco was the bomb. Service was great. Industrial kind of vibe in dining area. Clean, with plenty of napkins. The pizza crust was light and airy, with some crunch. My son also wanted the seasoned rice. He enjoyed it, I thought it was surprisingly good as well!! We'll definitely be back for the happy hour and some of the daily specials! Oh, and Alyssa!! I almost forgot! I think that's her name! I feel bad for forgetting now. The Wine Spot in Cleveland Heights is a unique blend of a wine and craft beer shop and bar, offering a modern industrial ambiance that sets it apart from traditional candlelit venues. The friendly staff are eager to guide patrons through the extensive selection, whether they're enjoying their drinks at the wood-topped tables in The Wine Bar or taking them home. Housed in a century-old building, this establishment showcases regional products and features reclaimed wood furnishings.
The place used to be a hardware store and they prominently feature the old store's sign over the overstuffed, craft-focused beer cooler. Great beer and wine selection. But their tasty cocktails are a nice surpise. You can bring in food from the diverse restaurants on Lee Rd. It's a cool hangout.

I had been wanting to try this spot for a while, and it was really nice. The patio out front is great and I got a sweet wine (I love sweet wine). If I went back, I might get a non wine alcoholic beverage since they only have one sweet wine. You know how people can get weird/snobby about sweet wines and their inferiority or whatever… lol. The olive and nut dish was good, but also so small (look at the pic). I would’ve paid a couple extra dollars to just get like two more handfuls of nuts or something on that plate. We ate it in about five minutes. Would like to go back and look at the wine selection and all the other doodads inside.

Moe's Tavern is a historic dive bar located in Downtown Cleveland, known for its rich history and as the inspiration for the iconic spot of the same name on The Simpsons. The bar exudes a classic vibe, attracting patrons who want to experience a piece of pop culture history. Visitors can enjoy the cozy atmosphere with Edison string lights and unique decor while learning about the establishment's fascinating past from the friendly owner.
Stopped for a quick bite for the first time- quick and friendly service, delicious pizza, and chill atmosphere! Don’t sleep on this hidden gem. Ask for Tom the bartender. The best!

I found this place conveniently located a block from the Greyhound Bus Station. I had a half hour before my trip began and was starving. I called in my order over the phone, which was definitely a PLUS+. My order was ready very quickly (12 minutes) as I got the fish sandwich and fries. I spent $14 and left a $3 tip for my to-go order. The waffle fries were decent, but the fish sandwich was horrendous. They do have a few non-alcoholic choices, I got the ginger beer. The soda was tasty, but they do not have to-go cups with lids, so beware. In all, I am grateful for Moe's and happy to give them another visit when I'm back in Cleveland as The Simpsons was one of my favorite childhood cartoons!

Such a cool, low-key bar! We stayed overnight in Cleveland on our way out west and stopped in here for a few drinks. Great atmosphere, friendly service, cold drinks. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in here with a work colleague for the nostalgia since we were in Cleveland for business. It was a quaint bar that filled up pretty quickly once it opened. Clean and classic. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. Check it out when you're in Cleveland.

We stopped at Moe's before our show at the Agora, and we were pleasantly surprised! It's small, but the place is clean, remodeled, and has great staff. The drinks were cold and stiff, and the food was delicious! We'll definitely be back. On a historical note, I'm pretty sure this was Danny Green's bar back in the day!

Found this gem of a bar spontaneously after a concert at the nearby Playhouse Square. This venue has a long and rich history, which the owner will kindly tell you about. This place was the inspiration for the Simpsons character Moe who is the bartender at Homer's favorite bar. There's a Simpsons character painted on the brick inside, a bowling game, Edison string lights, and nice decor. Support this local establishment. Nice beer selection too! We met a beloved local, Les the Beer Guy, who has his own brew on tap at Moe's.

Arsenal Cider House offers a relaxed and quiet atmosphere, making it a great spot for a Friday night hangout. The bar serves a variety of food and drink options including sandwiches, pretzels, veggies with ranch for gluten-free individuals, and an impressive selection of gluten-free ciders. Visitors can enjoy the fantastic ciders available in various flavors and sweetness levels. Customers appreciate the opportunity to sample different ciders through flight options.
Wide selection of ciders with varying levels of sweetness and tartness. Tried the rhubarb, bourbon, and pumpkin ... all very tasty. A few local whisky selections as well. Plenty of space to order, sufficient tables, and floor to ceiling windows for sunlight to highlight the killer themed interior decorations. Will be back.

Honestly, we went in and it was completely dead, I'm not sure people know about this place but they totally should! The bartender was awesome and took great care of us and was nice and social. It was my bf and my good friend's birthday celebration so it was a very small group of us (kinda nice having the place to ourselves for the brief time we were there). Bartender hooked up the birthday boy/girl with some sorbet (delicious) and just provided us with a nice little night out. They have a few small games which made our little visit fun. The ciders, however, which are the stars of the show here, are AMAZINGGG! I love a good cider to begin with but a cider mead is a go-to for me. Definitely need to stop in and check this place out! Next time I go I'd love to see it packed to the brim.

I can't give this Cidery enough stars!! I am a craft beer girl but have really gotten into hard ciders over the years and this place takes the cake. They give each customer 4 samples just to start off and its free of charge in case you aren't sure what to order. My husband's favorite was the winter Snowbound cider and mine was the Picket Bone Dry cider however there wasn't a single sample I didn't enjoy. I left with a couple of hoodies, and bottles of cider to take home and I can't wait to go back for more.

May 2025 update: Arsenal is back in Cleveland!! The tasting room is open on weekends and they brought back many of our favorite ciders as well as some new ones. They are open Fridays and Saturdays but will likely expand as their crew is trained. Keep an eye on their social media for events, food trucks and musicians. They also have their own parking lot across from their building on 45th, so you don't have to compete for spots on the street. They have hard cider varieties from dry to semi-sweet to appeal to just about every preference. They have non-alcoholic cider in cans or sometimes on tap as well as a good selection of beers from local brewers. Don't miss the sorbet they make with their ciders!!
Richard C — Google review
Great cider selection. Sorbet was delicious! Certain ciders are seasonal. The sour cherry one is a fav but currently not in. Bar tenders are very courteous and helpful. Live music has always been good.
Shannon D — Google review
FANTASTIC cider, TERRIBLE seating (specifically the tables that you can't put your legs under making it impossible to talk to everyone at the table), there needs to be a printed menu or one that's visible from all seating arrangements. We WILL be back, can't wait to try them all!
Mike C — Google review
I visited the first time in 2019. I love that they use heirloom apples for their cider. I had the Baldwin and Broken Heart (Stayman Winesap) ciders. Both were very good. They tasted tarter to me than dry. They always have a guest beer for non-cider drinkers. I came back in 2023 and filled up my growler with Jump Run. I've really enjoyed all of their single varietal ciders so far.

Kam was a stellar bar tender! She was very friendly and polite. The place has great drinks with a variety of flavors that I personally would never have thought of as a cider flavor. The place itself is also pretty cool, but not as cool as Kam.

Dante is a renowned dining destination in Cleveland, offering modern American cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. Helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Dante Boccuzzi, the restaurant is located in a former bank building and provides an elegant setting for intimate dining experiences. The menu features locally-sourced and organic ingredients, with options for à la carte dining or chef-prepared tasting menus. In addition to fine wines and craft cocktails, the restaurant also offers late-night noodles.
Phenomenal experience. We came for Valentine’s Day and did the 5 course tasting menu. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and creative. All of the staff members were so friendly and our waitress Benita truly made our evening special. We were told the tasting menu changes weekly so we will be back!

We were a bit disappointed in our experience here. It is unquestionably a high end restaurant, with some real high points like the green spaghetti, and my entree, the lamb shank was very good. The service was top notch. The soup was salty though and they have a salad with a soft lettuce that I think is called butter lettuce. The leaves of the lettuce are uncut. They are about 5 inches around and are very floppy. You kind of have to eat them whole because there isn't a good way to cut them. So you look like you are stuffing your face with a giant leaf almost the size of your own face. I returned one of my drinks (a hibiscus tea concoction). The first one was perfection, I ordered another which came out very different and overly sweet. I believe this is the first drink I've returned in my lifetime. So three strikes, at what should be one of the best restaurants in town.

We were given a gift certificate for our 25th anniversary from our dearest and close friends. It was the best gift! The experience was wonderful from the moment we got here. Seamus was attentive, hospitable, and engaging, yet not intrusive. We were given time to really relax and enjoy our dinner. The food is an experience in itself. It was delicious and so unique. Things and flavors you might not think to put together were masterfully done in a way that made your taste buds sing! Every dish we had was amazing! We will be returning!!!

We had a lovely birthday dinner for my boyfriends birthday! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Almost all the dishes were delightful! We tried the tasting menu, and overall we enjoyed it. However I have three complaints about our experience. 1. The steak dish was OKAY. Nothing overly special, it felt like the most underwhelming dish. 2. The dessert was incredibly dense and heavy. The cake seemed old/hard. The palate cleanser was actually more enjoyable than the main dessert. I honestly would have been happy with that AS the dessert. 3. The cocktail list was strange? Every cocktail I tried wasn't my favorite. Thats probably just a ME problem though. I just didn't find any of them appealing to MY personal tastes. However all the fish dishes were wonderful, especially the starter. The pasta dish was also one of the best bites! I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was very very good! I'd definitely recommend trying the tasting menu, it was a very enjoyable evening. Our server and host were fantastic also!

This has become our go-to spot for Italian food every time we visit Cleveland. The restaurant is housed in a historic old bank in the trendy Tremont neighborhood, surrounded by a variety of vibrant and diverse shops. The Good: The food here is simply amazing. Many dishes are available in multiple portion sizes and price points, which is great if you want to try several items in one sitting. The service is consistently wonderful, with management often seating you or checking in throughout your meal. The servers are extremely knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients, and even the sourcing of various items—a big plus in my book. The Bad: While it's not a deal-breaker for most, this place can get quite loud—really loud. The acoustics are awful, making it difficult to have a conversation at times. The Secrets: If you're like me and prefer a quieter dining experience, there are a few options depending on the season: 1. The outdoor back patio, which is lovely. 2. The back room behind the kitchen, a small but inviting space with wood decor and a cozy fireplace centerpiece. 3. The Vault—yes, the Vault! It has been converted into a dining area and is pretty cool. In closing, despite the noisy atmosphere, this place delivers a refined dining experience on all fronts. I'm sure I'll be back!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We came here in a great mood - it was supposed to be a nice date night with my husband. But everything went downhill fast. First, my fried calamari came out with a hair literally fried into it. I showed it to the waitress immediately - her response? A half-hearted "sorry" and she just walked away. No real apology, no sense of urgency. Eventually, they brought a new plate, but honestly, it looked like they just removed the hairy piece and re-served what was left. The plate was still greasy and messy. Then came my actual meal - I ordered a sandwich with sweet potato fries. What did they bring? Regular fries. I politely pointed it out, and of course, had to wait again for them to "fix it". By the time I finally started eating - after an hour of waiting - I was starving, having not eaten all day. And guess what? The sandwich had some disgusting rubbery chunk inside the meat - either fat or something worse, I don’t even want to imagine. I completely lost my appetite at that point. The only thing I managed to eat halfway was the fries, and even that felt like a struggle after everything. To top it all off, my husband ended up with stomach issues later that evening. Absolutely unacceptable experience from start to finish. Between the unsanitary food, inattentive service, and overall chaos - I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Save your money, your appetite, and your stomach.

This is a really adorable building and location. Was seated right away with fast service. I got the warm goat cheese with bread and it was insanely good. Got a crab melt after, it was pretty good but would get something different next time. Got lemon cake dessert which I forgot to take a pic of but that was great too. Pretty cheap too!! Lots of flies tho:-(

Boa buns were not light and airy. Dumplings were doughy and the vegan calamari was very bland. Good service and great atmosphere. We sat on the patio, beautiful night with fireworks in the distance.

Fat Cats was a cool place, I think I just went at the wrong time. I sat up at the bar as not to take a table when it was just myself. The food was OK, I wouldn't order the fish tacos again, there was hardly any fish, a very small piece on each taco with more pickled onions (that I love) than anything the cilantro & jalapeños added a nice flavor. The "taco shell" was not what i was expecting but it was different. The Sweet potato fries were interesting, I liked the dipping sauce with them. It tasted like a sun-dried tomato dip. The house burger seemed to be popular & maybe that's what I should have tried but I wanted to be different since this is a new city and place for me. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions.

I had the quinoa bowl and asked for it to be made vegan which the staff was happy to accommodate. All of the table’s food was delicious! I recommend! I had dinner around 5PM on a Saturday night and the place was full (we had reservations which I recommend doing). This location’s acoustics is not conducive for conversation with friends. The ambience is quite loud and can be triggering for those who are introverted or live with anxiety. If that is you, consider ordering to go.

Yours Truly Playhouse Square is a modern, industrial-chic bar and restaurant located inside the historic Halle Building in downtown Cleveland. The restaurant overlooks the Playhouse Square Theater District and serves as a favorite spot for locals to enjoy breakfast all day, including homemade Nitro cold brew and beloved dishes like Notso Fries and Killit Skillet.
Fantastic surprise. Came here for breakfast while staying at the Crowne Plaza. Outstanding. What a throwback in time, as in a diner, but with an updated menu. Would really like to try lunch or dinner. I had the eggs Benedict and it's the best I have had in years. Service was excellent as well, and the prices were decent. Great place!

We were staying in the comfort inn down the street and the hotel employees recommend that we walk here for breakfast. So glad we did! My French toast was very good, along with the eggs and sausage. My friend liked their salad and the egg sandwich too. Our server was very friendly and kind!
Rebecca K — Google review
I've been to other Yours Truly's, so I decided to check this one out as well. That was a big mistake. First off, the service here is incredibly slow. I'm glad we had 2 hours before our show at Playhouse and had time to kill. The table we were sat at could only be described as incredibly small, and it literally just sat in the hallway next to the bathroom. You know, prime seating for a night out. Do not be fooled by the nice entrance. You most likely will not sit there. Also, our appetizer and entrees salads everything came out at once. This table is very tiny it could barely hold everything, and to beat all the servers never came by to pick up dishes, so we were left playing Jenga with dishes, so we had room to eat. The food was fine, not great, not bad. You can find way better steps away from this place. Yes, this place is cheap for downtown. But you're in downtown live it up a little. The drink here was called clevelands finest, and it was truly awful it's their take on a n okd fashioned, you know, a pretty save drink. It had seeds in it. They crushed and orange and cherry into it and did not strain out the seeds. It was not fun drinking something and having to pick seeds out of your mouth. It's also a choking hazard. So drink here at your own risk. When I say it had seeds, I'm saying like 6 to 8 in it. Now go to any other Yours Truly they're great, in fact this experience made me want to go to another just to experience a good one. One last thing as well the notso fries there version of loaded cheese fries was cold. The cheese was hard and cold. The pictures on this review make it look way better than it was. Just try somewhere else in the playhouse district for a good meal. Naturally, this being downtown, there is not dedicated parking for it, so you will either have to do street parking or a nearby garage.
Zach B — Google review
Great breakfast choice. Lots of selection of eggs, meat, pancakes. We had a large group and they were able to put us upstairs with lots of seatings. Easy walking from hotels around the area.
Michael Y — Google review
I ordered an omelette and inquired about the accompanying sides (potatoes or toast). I received a quesadilla instead. The waitress (J Rivor) did not apologize and resubmitted the order. I waited another 15 minutes and I received the order. My toast was placed in a puddle of vegetable liquid and was completely soggy. The omelette did not have cheese and was broken open. I politely declined the order. The waitress then misrepresented my reason for not consuming the soggy and sloppy food. She said I didn't like it when clearly, I didn't take a single bite. How could I when the food was soiled in slop??? Nasty attitudes and poor service! Save yourself the trouble and DON’T dine here.
Noelle W — Google review
I ordered thru the door dash and I had the Killet Skillet and it was good. But I was at work and they didn't send any condiments. This was the problem the eggs and the hash brown had no seasoning and the ciabatta bread wasn't toast enough and no jelly or utensils. But once I search around and found what I needed it was good. Please do better with the app orders.

Ok, so!!! This was my first time here a few days ago & I hate to sound mean but the food here is absolutely disgusting‼️ The service was great & the restaurant is nice, in a nice location BUT.... The food is bland & it tastes like boxed foods. The rice was hard & unseasoned. The mac & cheese was watery & tasted like Kraft Boxed mac & cheese. The chicken had no taste with a bunch of vegetables that just made the taste worse. Yea.... no thank you!!! The prices don't add up to the presentation or flavor. I will not be a returning customer

The classic tiki vibe is enhanced by the room's palm trees, carvings, and outrigger canoes. On Sundays, it hosts Mobius for creative dishes on a changing menu. The venue also features colorful ceramic Easter Island figurines and a bamboo curtain leading to a dazzlingly lit outdoor patio.
Porco has great drinks but I came for the food and it did not disappoint! We ordered everything on the menu that wasn’t vegetarian/vegan lol. We ordered the Pinoy Party Platter and safe to say, it was worth the price and I’m really picky with Filipino food. The flavors of the tacos were great. The bistek was made from ribeye and cooked to perfection. The sliders were so juicy and the sauces were just amazing. Great for a date night or a night out with friends.

A Bucket List Bar That Exceeds All Expectations! I've had Porco Lounge & Tiki Room on my bucket list for ages, and we finally got to visit during a recent road trip. To say I was blown away is a complete understatement. This place isn't just a bar; it's an experience. While I've been to a few tiki bars, this was my partner's first time, and the staff made it absolutely perfect for her. The bartenders were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, patiently walking her through the menu and the whole tiki cocktail culture. They made her feel welcome and excited, which made the visit even more special. Every single thing we ordered was a home run. The cocktails were expertly crafted, perfectly balanced, and dangerously delicious. And the food? The Pinoy dishes were out of this world (and reminded me of home)—so flavorful and the perfect complement to our drinks. The vibe, the drinks, the food, and especially the amazing staff all add up to an unforgettable experience. It's a 5/5 across the board from me, but if I could give it 100,000 stars, I would. We're already planning how we can get back to Cleveland just to visit Porco again!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! If anyone has had the opportunity to experience a Tiki Bar, this one doesn’t fall short of expectations at all! This was my first time at Porco and it will NOT be the last! The drinks set the standard for Tiki Bars, and I loved how they provided a guide to the “experience” level the patron would like to achieve directly on the menu. I didn’t delve too far into the food menu, but the sliders and fries did not let me down. I was a bit disappointed they were out of the mango dessert, however. Other than that, the experience was amazing. Our waitress, Nina, made sure of that!!
Frosty B — Google review
The fries were abysmal, especially for the price, but the burger and tempura shrimp were pretty good. The drinks though… my god. The welcome cocktail, a daiquiri, blew my socks off when we walked in the door. The navy grog and holo holo were genuinely exceptional, and the bali bali and jet pilot were great. Can’t wait to go back!

Did not eat here just had drinks, but heard the food is good. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. The Tiki theme is everywhere and we loves it. Gave us good inspiration for our own tiki bar at home. The drinks were tasty and even gave us some cookies. Tasty as well. We will definitely come back when we travel this way again!

🌺🍹 “The Mai Tai Mecca of Cleveland!” 🍹🌺 This is the can’t-miss oasis in Cleveland, a true port of call for any tiki adventurer. I blew in on a work trip and from now on, Porco will be my first stop every time I drop anchor in this city. Nina was a top-notch bartender and a true steward of the Porco spirit: part historian, part storyteller, and 100% cocktail sorceress. Every drink was a masterpiece in a mug. The atmosphere? Pure escapism. You’re surrounded by historic tiki treasures from across the country, a jaw-dropping mug collection, and an energy that transports you straight to the South Seas (no passport required). Already counting the days until my next voyage to Cleveland. I’ll be back at the Porco barstool, rum in hand, and a big grin on my face. 🌴🍍🍒

To get this authentic of a Tiki Lounge this far north is real treat. AMAZING, unpretentious service by the team at Porco, making you feel welcome and comfortable in an environment that can be somewhat overwhelming to the uninitiated. The menu is limited, but delicious none-the-less. The drinks are second to none, and crafted with the utmost care. By today's barroom standards, the flat $18-per-cocktail price seems like a downright bargain! I sampled quite a few on my visit, with the Painkiller being the most delicious and the Zombie being the most visually pleasing (and potent!) I encourage visitors to the CLE to make a detour to the Porco Lounge--you won't be disappointed.

Attended an event at Market Avenue Wine Bar. The space was amazing - the back room was so nicely Victorian decorated (although the "little vignettes" of seating did make it a little difficult to mingle). Once we received one drink ticket and we proceeded to the front room to the bar to select our wine - we had 4 different wines to choose from. I asked the bar tender to tell us about the 4 wines so that I could make an informed decision, and he really had no clue. He told us 3 were white, 1 red, 1 was French and the other from Spain. He didn't know anything about the sweetness or bouquet of the wine. So I just picked one - it was pretty good! One of the owners came to the event space and told us that the bar has over 100 different wines, some served by the glass, some by the bottle only. They also have some beer and other alcohol in case you are not into wine! Overall it was a good event and I had fun!

A standing ovation for Market Avenue Wine Bar!

This place is AMAZING for private parties hosting people who are wine lovers! They have a giant back room called the Burgundy Room that is plush and stylish and perfect for parting and mingling! Owners made us a cheese and charcuterie spread for $15 per person that also included some Greek nibbles … we were SO HAPPY with the food and wine and whole experience! Thank you Julie and everyone else at Market Ave. Wine Bar 🍷

Yesterday October 31st i had my first racial experience, I walked into this location at 11:00pm, I then asked the bartender where was the restroom so I can head there before I place an order. The bartender then stated "I'm sorry we are actually closed, " but there were 3 white men sitting at the bar. So he then stated "we actually don't have a public restroom" I then stated "this is a public bar but you don't have a public restroom?" The bartender started stuttering over his words and then tried to point to where the bathroom was And at that point I was so disgusted I just left the establishment. Whoever owns this place definitely needs to do better with who they hire. What' a jerk.

Nestled in the heart of Cleveland, West Park Station is a vibrant neighborhood bar that offers a delightful mix of Irish, American, and Italian cuisine. With its laid-back vibe, it's the perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a meal with your furry companion. The menu features mouthwatering options like shepherd's pie and lobster mac-n-cheese, alongside juicy burgers cooked to perfection—medium rare if you prefer!
This is the bar where you can decompress, prepare, or hid. I highly recommend for anyone who needs to relax, restore, or let go after a disappointing visit at Fairview Hospital. The Monday burger special is phenomenal and the happy hour well drink special is perfect.

The atmosphere and staff was nice. Can’t review the drinks because they had temp bar tenders. But I ordered Alfredo and I just wish it had some Alfredo sauce lol I mean, it had butter, enough to upset my stomach. But it didn’t have heavy cream or cheese.

Stopped in here for a late lunch after seeing a musical at Playhouse Square and was pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere! I will say that the service was pretty slow and random, but ever server we encountered was friendly. There's a decent sized bar in the center and table/booth seating surrounding it, with a lot of TVs to watch your favorite sports. There were a number of menu items that caught my eye and everything was very reasonably priced. We decided to split some pepperoni rolls as a group and I ordered the Dublin Dip sandwich as my main. The food was stellar! The pepperoni rolls were huge and loaded with filling. They were light, like a cinnamon roll, not dense like many others you'll find. The marinara was fresh and flavorful, perfect for dipping. My sandwich arrived on a perfectly toasted, soft but crunchy hoagie bun, piled high with shaved roast beef atop melted cheese. The au jus was rich and a little salty - again, perfect for dipping. Last but definitely not least - Order the potato chips as a side and thank me later!! It was good place to watch a surprise Browns victory and have some tasty food. 😋

I recently hosted my dad's surprise birthday party here and it was a big hit with friends and family. The group included small children and seniors. WPS is easily accessible for folks with mobility issues and has several low top tables. Jason and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 50 on a Saturday evening. The food and service were fantastic. I highly recommend if you're looking for a place to host a group event.

Amazing vibes, good donuts and fantastic coffee. The donuts are SUPER sweet!! So be warned, lol I usually can only eat 1/2 at a time! And the people who work there are very nice. They had Taylor Fest this weekend and I took my daughter, her bestie, and her bestie's mom and we enjoyed our time together, the food, and the atmosphere. 💐💖💗

Love the local vibes here unique decor on the inside. Wide variety of cocktails and drinks for everyone to enjoy. Half a dozen donuts is about $20 but these donuts are huge. Literally they are the size of a toddlers head. love the fun and cheeky flavors. They’re decorated immaculately would highly recommend one of the best in Cleveland.

This place is AWESOME! As part of the 2025 Women’s Sports Bar Alliance, this place did not disappoint! The vibe was immaculate (F1 viewing party was going on while I was there), they were so welcoming toward all (rainbows everywhere!), and the donuts was incredible (even the vegan ones and I’m not vegan!)! I also had the BEST non alcoholic paloma I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you Brewnuts for the perfect stop while on the road from Chicago!

Cool spot to check out for vegan donuts and more! We are always on the hunt for vegan donuts and these really hit the spot. We were glad to see that they had more than just one option as well. The atmosphere was co for table and chill. It was too early for us to have a beer but would like to try them on a different occasion.

The donut flavors are always so creative and perfectly executed. I love going to brewnuts and can’t wait to check out more of their events, my friend went to the taylor swift party and had a great time!

This review is mainly for the donuts. After reading all of the great reviews, I drove 30 minutes to try them, and I'm super disappointed to say that they were mediocre at best. I purchased the vegan chocolate sprinkle, the lemon cream, and the vegan bomb pop. My entire family agreed the donuts were on the dry side and not flavorful. I did order them for takeout, but they were eaten the same day. For $3-$4 a pop, these donuts were not worth it for us. We've had way better, especially better vegan donuts. Service was fine and the atmosphere was cute and family-friendly, but the donuts did not live up to the hype.

This restaurant is so awesome! The inside is cute and welcoming. But the patio!!! The patio is beautiful, spacious and dog friendly!! We really enjoyed the food too. We got the Air-y-aki Burger and the Adobo Burrito - both were great and unique! The service was quick and outstanding! I highly recommend this place!

I visited this restaurant to try their vegan nachos and cheese, but I was thoroughly disappointed. The nachos were cold, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. To make matters worse, the cheese was cold as well. Despite the pleasant ambiance and the fact that it made a great hangout spot for after work, I wouldn’t recommend the vegan nachos to anyone, especially friends and family.

This is a fun place with excellent service and a friendly, welcoming vibe. I stopped in for dinner and had the citrus salad with chicken, which was overall quite disappointing. But they have excellent Humphrey’s popcorn. I might go back if I am with others who want to enjoy a fun and enjoyable space, but not for the food especially when there are so many other excellent options around the Ohio City area.

I would recommend this place for lunch, dinner, or even just drinks - especially if the back patio is open. I’ve been to Jukebox several times now, and I’ve enjoyed every experience. One of our favorite finds on our 4-day trip to Cleveland. The food was fantastic (we got chicken strips, pretzels, and fries) and all of the sauces were incredible. We rented a court for an hour (I had played before but my husband hadn't) and we had such a fun time. The vibe is immaculate and it's an all-around can't-miss spot.

The Mini Corndogs and the Tatertots were great! We got a Bobby Boi, a Bird is the Word (Hot), and Camille's Sassy Salad. The Burger was a Burger. The buttermilk fried chicken on the sandwich and the salad was super crunchy. I think mine might have been a bit overcooked. My jaw genuinely hurt after eating it. The taste was good though. I wish the chicken was tossed in hot sauce. It felt like it was just dashed with some Franks Hot on top. The service was great. There was only 1 server and she took great care of us. The Atmosphere was amazing! They nailed the middle school/high school gymnasium/area aesthetic. The bar is made from reclaimed bleachers. There are stadium seats, trophies, a bunch of flags hanging from the rafters, exposed bricks, murals, retro photos, and just nailed the vibe.
Shawn G — Google review
First off, service and hostess was great, could not recommend more. However, if you are looking to dine in, beware that the food looks much better in the pictures than what you get. Chicken tenders, along with the fries, were fried in rancid/old oil. Oil across the board, very prominent. If you are hoping for more than one tender in a chicken sandwich, don’t get the sandwich. Besides the food, can’t complain!

First timing visiting Forest City Shuffleboard and it most definitely won’t be my last! We stopped in for my friends birthday for a couple of drinks and to play shuffleboard so I can speak to the food but I am 1,000% planning on dining the next time I visit! The venue was awesome and as a first time shuffleboarder (not even sure if that’s a word…shuffler? I digress) I had such a great time and even joked about joining the league which I legit am now considering doing! The servers here were awesome and I love that they stopped by the arena area to see if we needed another round of drinks. If you’re looking for a fun activity bring your friends and check out Forest City! Such a great addition to the neighborhood—I’m even considering hosting my birthday party here this year!

Was there on a Wednesday night for a work outing. Awesome atmosphere, food menu is VERY good! We ordered fried green tomatoes with the fried chicken sliders. Chicken was maybe a little over done but was still good. Waitress we had was a little slow. Shuffleboard court (?) is great and they have outdoor seating. Great drink selection, too. Parking was not great.

We had so much fun here, we will definitely be back. We went here for my boyfriends 37th birthday since he loves shuffleboard. It was a surprise and he loved it! The prices were good, the experience was great and we will go back. The LED cleveland sign above the bar makes for great photos! We originally reserved the outdoor patio boards but it was so hot at 4pm when we arrived we asked to move inside and since there were no other reservations they quickly accommodated. We had two kids with us (it’s 21 and over after 6) so we had from 4pm-6pm to play and that was exactly as much time as we needed. The drinks were averagely priced, we didn’t eat here since we had dinner reservations at BrewDog (close by) at 630. But overall this place is super cool and kid friendly, the 2 and 4 year old with us loved playing on the full sized shuffleboards with us ☺️

Guests rave about the standout dishes like the poutine, which many claim to be the best they've ever tasted, and the pretzel-crusted chicken that leaves diners enchanted.
The food was great and the portion size was exceptional. Pretzel crusted chicken was a real treat. Their house beers were also very good.

Poutine lovers rejoice! This is the best poutine I've had in NE Ohio. The fries here are crispy and wonderfully seasoned, and the cheese curds are to die for. Absolutely insane amount for the price. The plate is like 1 1/2 forks across. The onion rings are a 10/10 as well. Beautiful batter sweet onions, huge portions. The veg for the burger is crisp and fresh and the buns are gorgeous as well. My only complaint is that the signature cornerstone burger itself was a bit bland(but still juicy and cooked just right). When compared to all the other amazing food items it falls a bit flat. Staff is attentive, helpful and positive, and the vibes are chill. A wonderful place and can't wait to come back!

After expecting to wait for a table on a Saturday evening, we were surprised to see 60% of the tables were available. The service was impeccable due to the light crowd, and we were able to get our food and drinks almost immediately! The pepper jack stuffed pretzel from the Brewer’s pretzel is definitely worth the try, and the poutine was unique to us with the curds being deep fried. All entrees were delectable, with an emphasis on the Cajun ranch specialty pizza. This is a must stop if you’re passing through Berea and looking for a quick bite and a brew!

In our ever ongoing goal of trying all of our local berea restaurants, cornerstone brewery was next up on our list. Had heard good things about the restaurant so had to give it a try. We ended up going on a Friday evening around 5pm. While it was busy, there was no wait and several tables were available on our arrival. The staff greeted us on entering and directed us to pick a spot anywhere we liked. We ended up sitting near the rear of the restaurant quite close to the kitchen and prep area. Our waiter came over once we sat, took our drink order and checked on us a few times while we were looking over the menu for the first time. Variety wise, it was a tough decision between several options that sounded amazing. Ultimately, I ordered the Brewers pretzels as an appetizer and the Bavarian Pretzel Chicken as my entree with a side salad. The Brewers pretzels came out quickly (fresh out of the oven) and included a pepper jack stuffed pretzel and a traditional soft pretzel. It came with dipping sauces of ranch and honey mustard. Both seemed house made and we're great. The honey mustard was fantastic with the regular pretzel and the ranch complemented the pepper jack stuffed pretzel well. As for the Bavarian Pretzel Chicken, I was blown away with the entire dish. The pretzel crusted chicken had a great flavor and was nice and moist without being the least bit dry on the inside. It was topped with a honey Dijon sauce that really worked with the chicken. The chicken was served on top of caramelized onion mashed potatoes and sauteed seasonal veggies. There was additional Honey Dijon sauce around the outer edge of the plate that I chose to mix both my potatoes and veggies in. The medley worked quite well and was very happy with the dish. It would be a dish I would order again and recommend with no hesitation. All in all, it was a great experience and we look forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu as we visit.

My friend and I Stopped by hoping for a few drinks and food this afternoon. I was hoping to get a five-star interaction as the rest of the reviews and pictures had shown. However it was one of the worst service industry experiences I've ever had. Upon entering we were greeted with less than enthusiasm from one of the bartenders. His attitude and way he interacted made me feel uncomfortable and not welcome. He threw the coasters in front of us, was rude when ordering our drinks and was talking under his breath. I'm not sure what his problem was but did not want to stay considering how he was treating us at the beginning of the interaction. We left and went somewhere else. I'm unable to comment on food or any drinks considering my friend ordered a beer and all I drink was water. Maybe it's better later or at different days, however on a Saturday afternoon I highly recommend going to any of the other bars or restaurants close by

The " Tavern Salad" I ordered at a whopping $8 (menu stated it was romaine) was nothing more than a few strips of iceberg lettuce with a majority of hearts that were for the most part inedible. The "fresh cut fries" loaded with salt and overdone. For what I paid I ate about $.50 worth of the food. I would definitely NOT recommend a salad and the fries are probably hit or miss.

I had a disappointing experience with a bartender named Ken during my recent visit. I ordered a drink which Ken made, but before I could even take a sip, another bartender (a female staff member) took it away for some reason. When I asked about it, Ken insisted I had already consumed it and tried to charge me for another one. He was argumentative and dismissive, which made the situation uncomfortable. Thankfully, the female bartender stepped in, clarified that she had taken the drink, and made me a replacement without issue. I appreciated her honesty and professionalism—it really helped salvage the experience. Unfortunately, Ken's attitude and refusal to listen left a negative impression.

A fun neighborhood bar. We were with a large group and had a lot of fun in the upper story "loft". The loft overlooks the bar and has a very well used pool table. The two pool sticks available were held together with duct tape. It made the games fun! Everyone had the same handicap. The bar seems quite old and has much of the original woodworking and flooring. Reasonably priced drinks.

Cloak & Dagger is a gothic and moody bar in Cleveland, offering an array of ambitious cocktails and vegan bites. The space is filled with antiques and books, creating an atmosphere that feels like it could be haunted. The menu is designed like an ancient tome, adding to the mysterious vibe of the place. Despite its serious mixology approach, the servers are friendly and happy to explain the intricacies of their creations without judgment.
I've been twice now and absolutely love the menu, the drinks are amazing and love how I'm greeted with a shot. As a fellow chef, I love to see how everything is flavorful, beautifully plated, and that it's all vegan! Though I'm not vegan, I would say this is the best vegan restaurant in Ohio! Go for the drinks and amazing interactive staff and stay for the beautiful food and atmosphere!

Wow wow wow. When you walk in the door be prepared for the immediate, strong smell of incense to hit you. I mean that in the best way. Really cozy, well lit and well adorned spot with really complex and unique drinks. Even if vegan food may not sound like your preference, their vegan burger is so good it won’t even matter. We smelled (smelt?) the mushroom and herbs from the next table over and knew we had to have it. One thing of note that we must’ve missed is the reservations are capped at an hour and a half stay, so pace accordingly. In our case they very politely ushered us to the outside seating area after our time was up. Unsure if we would be able to stay longer if there were *not* spaces outside. It’s a busy, yet almost quiet, cool place and all worth it.

Ethan is an absolute master behind the bar. At Cloak & Dagger, he created not one, but two perfect menu drinks for us—balanced, creative, and full of character. But what really blew me away was what happened when things slowed down. Ethan didn’t just clock out mentally—he leaned in. He crafted an off-menu drink with genuine care and precision, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. His attention to detail is next-level, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. Every ingredient, every pour, every garnish—thoughtful and intentional. This wasn’t just bartending; it was artistry. If you're lucky enough to sit at the bar when Ethan's working, ask questions, be curious—he’ll take you on a journey. 10/10. He makes Cloak & Dagger feel like a hidden gem, even if you've been there before.

All vegan and all great. Food ,drinks, atmosphere and staff were all top notch. Bring your non vegan friends, everyone will enjoy it. Bit of an update, was there again and it was as good as ever. The bar staff of great. I let them create some off menu drinks for me and they did not disappoint.

I wish I could leave a full review of our anniversary dinner but we didn't actually get to have it. By the time we enjoyed our complimentary small drink (yum!) and figured out what cocktails we wanted to order it was more than a half hour into our reservation before we had our first drinks. It took a while, which is fine. This is such a cool place and one I'd love to spend the whole evening in. We ordered the olives to share as a starter and we just decided what we were going to order for our dinner when the hostess told us our table would be turned over in 30 minutes. Okay. 90 minute reservations. I get it and knew it going in. I've been other places with the same policy. I've never been anywhere that actually told me to leave, so that is a first, but it's totally their right to do that and I don't fault them for that. If you're going to do that then it seems to me your service should be quick enough that people could make it through drinks, dinner and dessert in that time (maybe even an appetizer, if that isn't too much to ask on our anniversary?). There is NO way that was a possibility. We couldn't even have two drinks in that time. It seems to me like there is a serious mismatch between the marketing approach (come hang out and enjoy our "focus on hospitality") and business approach (but don't stay very long) here. I'm so sorry I can only share about the cocktails we had: the Dagger Dragger and King of the Dead were both very good drinks and the warm olives were so good, though not quite enough to be a dinner for two. I only gave the food 3 stars because we didn't get to eat anything other than olives. Thanks for the nice service and drinks.

Lizardville Beer and Whiskey Bar is a top-notch establishment with an extensive selection of whiskey, including rare and unique options. The knowledgeable staff are always on hand to offer recommendations, making for a great experience. In addition to their impressive whiskey collection, they also offer a variety of beers that you won't find elsewhere. The outdoor seating area provides a relaxed atmosphere where patrons can enjoy drinks and even smoke cigars. While the bar can get busy, the friendly and attentive staff make the wait worthwhile.
Do not pass this gem up! The food was stellar and the extent of liquor was massive. They actually had an exceptionally rare German Smoke Beer spirit. Lou was the most gracious host! The atmosphere is beyond any stars that I can give.

This is by far the best Lizardville of them all. They have a bigger selection of whiskey than any other, they have outdoor seating, and they have a very knowledgeable staff who are always ready with a good recommendation. I also love the fact that they always have unique and different beers you won't get across the parking lot at Winking Lizard. A+A+A+!
Yale E — Google review
We called ahead for a group of 15 and were told they could accommodate us. Upon arrival, we were seated right away, which we appreciated. However, the service unfortunately fell short from there. Only part of our group received water, and drink orders were taken for just a few of us. After waiting over an hour, only 3 out of the 15 of us had received drinks, and none of us had our food orders taken — some of us still never even got a water. Frustrated and hungry, several people in our group decided to leave. Those of us who did get drinks cashed out and went next door to Winking Lizard, where we were served immediately, despite not having called ahead. We were really disappointed in the lack of organization and service at Lizardville, especially after giving them notice. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning, but we’re grateful Winking Lizard was able to turn our night around.

Party of 4 .. the food was cold... we sent the food back and it was microwaved per the chef... they didn't close until 11pm... at 10pm. Our waitress clocked out which left no one to wait on our table... we sat and waited over 20 min for someone to come to our table (we were the only people in the the bar) . Horrible experience

Clam bake was hot and tasty. Nice pub atmosphere. Several draft beers to select from but only a ew bourbon (900). Wow.

Friday night @ 7pm. 4 bartenders behind the bar. Couldn’t sit @ the bar because food and drinks from previous guests were still on the bar. Sat @ a bar table. Couldn’t get service. Waited 15 minutes to get a drink order, 10 minutes more for food. Food was mediocre. Service was atrocious! Every table & the entire bar was not cleared. It was so bad that 2 people sat @ the table next to ours that was not cleaned from the previous seating and a server came over and asked them if they’d like anything else, they were like , we just sat down, this isn’t our mess. What a train wreck! We left @ 8:30 & the bar still had dirty plates on it from people that left before we arrived. Disgusting! 4 bartenders & no more than 20 customers. Lazy!

BottleHouse Brewery and Meadery is a vibrant community-focused establishment located in Greater Cleveland, with locations in Lakewood and Cleveland Heights. This brewery, meadery, and cidery not only serves up small-batch beers but also offers a delightful menu featuring farm-to-table comfort food. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, perfect for gathering with friends or enjoying a leisurely Sunday brunch. With ample outdoor seating and community-style tables, BottleHouse encourages social interaction among patrons.
Bottle House Brewery & Meadery is more than just a place to grab a drink—it's an experience. From the moment you step into its spacious, open setting, you feel a sense of community. Instead of TVs and isolated tables, you'll find communal seating and board games, encouraging conversation and connection. The drinks themselves? They transport you straight to the age of Vikings. The brewery started small but quickly grew into a powerhouse of creativity, offering a diverse range of beers, meads, and barrel-aged sours. Their dedication to the craft is evident in every sip, from the complex melomels like Metropolis to the rich, barrel-aged meads like The Guardian. Their sour beer program is another standout, constantly evolving and pushing boundaries. With three taprooms in Cleveland Heights, Lakewood, and Shaker Heights, Bottle House has stayed true to its mission: fostering community through exceptional, locally crafted beverages. If you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere and expertly brewed drinks, this spot is a must-visit. Cheers to ten years of passion and innovation—here’s to many more!

A bit loud, but not beyond what you would expect for a beer hall. The food was excellent, and the variety of brews was great. Also appreciate that they have some NA options. Seating is communal, so if you are a small group (2-4), expect to share a table with another small group. Overall I highly recommend checking this place out.

Cool spot to chill. Not too loud and no TV's which is a nice change. They had Frankie Lynn hot dogs as a guest chef (must try!!!). I'll definitely go back again.
Rob O — Google review
I’ve been here several times. Apparently the burger chefs have changed. What used to be the best smash burger I’ve ever had has turned today to a horrible charred hockey puck. Should have returned it and asked for a refund. Possibly the cook was overwhelmed today because it was so busy but no excuse to serve a burger this dry and crispy. I will still come for the beer which is fabulous but burgers no more- don’t bother

Amazing venue, a lot of care was put into the remodeling. Love the selection of drinks too, had loads of fun trying the mead and nectar. Food was good too. Can’t recommend enough!

We went here before seeing a movie at Cedar Lee. I really enjoyed the beer and the food menu was limited but what we got was good. I do think next time I go, I'll try out the chicken sandwich. However, I really enjoyed the beer options.

I’ve just recently gotten into drinking Meade, so I can’t say a whole lot about it. That being said, I really enjoyed the Meade I had here. It had great flavor and wasn’t too sweet, and also wasn’t too bitter. Didn’t eat any of the food, so I can’t comment on that. Plenty of seating, so larger parties can easily be accommodated. Decent selection of board games, which was an added bonus. If you are in Cleveland Heights and are looking for somewhere to relax and have a drink, I highly recommend checking out Bottle House.

Warehouse Beverage Inc offers a fantastic selection of both standard and hard-to-find beers, as well as an impressive variety of wines. The store is known for its friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to offer recommendations. Customers appreciate the clean and organized store with its own parking lot, making it convenient to visit. It's described as a dependable go-to for craft beer, offering a great selection that has introduced patrons to new favorite breweries.
Good selection of both foreign and local beers, and the worker is nice. They also sell some premade brewing kits with about 5-10 options for different styles.

Kenny is very helpful, very friendly and carries some killer Belgian beers. Pretty basic selection of brewing supplies but he definitely has everything you need there.
Mike ( — Google review
Awesome beer selection. Not qualified to rate the wine selection. Good selection of home brew supplies. Really nice neighborhood feel. The three brothers know everyone and are very helpful. Just wish I lived a little closer.
David — Google review
Dependable store that is our current go-to for craft beer because of the location, and management is always friendly even when we walked in 15 minutes until closing without realizing how late it was. Clean and organized store with its own parking lot. There are plenty of spaces and it's on a residential street so there's always somewhere to park. I've discovered a few new breweries here that have become favorites, so I can't fault the selection. It's not as broad as other shops, but it feels less overwhelming and there's going to be something for everyone. A small note for management: it would be nice if there were more prices visible on some of the six packs, but the pricing overall is very agreeable and the more expensive bottles are all clearly labeled. My only other criticism - which is hardly worth knocking a star off but is a personal thing - is that I wish they carried Mikkeller because it was a favorite brewery from my old beer shop and I miss being able to buy it easily. If they got some Mikkeller in stock, 6/5 stars.
Matthew W — Google review
I have been patronizing this establishment for decades! Great family owned neighborhood beverage store with an amazing inventory of great wines and beers at very affordable prices. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about their products (and competitors). The parking is great and in and out can be a minute or two if you are in a hurry. Really worth a visit. They try really hard to please.

GREAT place for craft beer. Good selection & if they don't have it, they'll try & get it. The owners are extremely helpful & are very knowledgeable about the beverages they carry. I needed Saki for a gift & the one they recommended was perfect for my friend. Who ever knows anything about Saki? Friendly, family owned.
E C — Google review
Fantastic selection of standards and hard to find beers. Also have greatly enjoyed their wine section over the years with bottles of almost all varieties. Very kind employees, though I miss being able to go in and talk to the gentlemen (I believe they were brothers?) about recommendations for new products. Haven't gone often over the last few years, but started again recently and haven't seen them once. Hope the new folks there can prove to be as helpful in the long run. 5 stars for the history of my experiences, but we'll see if the newer staffing drops that to 4.

Great beer and wine selection at prices better than the chain across the street. A good selection of home brewing supplies. If you need something they don't have, they'll happily order it for you. Glad to see the new owners continuing the home brew enthusiasm!

The Flats at East Bank is a vibrant district in Cleveland, situated along the scenic Cuyahoga River. Once an industrial area, it has transformed into a lively hub offering an array of dining and nightlife options. Visitors can enjoy strolling along the riverfront boardwalk, taking in stunning sunsets, and watching boats and paddlers pass by. The area also features iconic bridges that add to its architectural landscape.
The new amazing is amazing!! Amber is the new property manager and has done a great job in bringing the community together and serving the residents with world class service. I couldn't be more happier with the new property managers!! :)) Some of the things I love about the property: The management team is quick to respond to any help The rooftop deck is actually pretty nice. Didn’t realize it until summer hit this year and I was working from home (covid life) I feel safe in this building as you require a fob to get in the building and also for the elevator Bunch of restaurants on the first floor - makes it easy to grab a bite when you don’t want to cook Discounted price at the local gym next door Plus the views are awesome. I’ll post some pics here once I figure out how! Haha

Never lived here but the area is cool. Good to see them try to create a unique waterfront that’s walkable. It was pretty dead on a Wednesday but I’d assume the weekends were more fun. Love the sound stage, the cool bars with outdoor seating. IMO it’s way overpriced though. And I’d bet 90% of young adults that live here their parents are paying their rent. $1,400 to $4,000 a month is insane. Who can afford that!? I need to find out what you ppl do for work man. Anywho, the flats have lots of potential. It’s almost a Colorado vibe with all the outdoor seating. I think Cleveland is out pricing its own market tho with the gentrification. If you want to connect downtown to the flats and have the same crowd, you’ll need more outdoor special events on the weekly. And overall make it more accessible to all people. It feels like a college campus with dorms and suite style housing.

If you have friends or want visitors.. consider moving somewhere else. There is no guest parking and the attendants at the few off property 3rd party parking lots leave at random hours... good luck finding a place to park overnight for under 65 dollars if you happen to be lucky enough to find a lot that isnt Closed. The personnel representing the property management company are awesome! The building is beautiful... u just won't be able to have anyone over to enjoy it unless they can walk or Uber... wish someone would've told me so making it a point to post.

Don't move here, it isn't worth it. Despite living here 2021-2022 I'm writing a review now because Greystar just dinged my credit almost 200 points for not paying a $1300 "insufficient notice" fee. I gave more than the required 60 day notice prior to the end of my lease, but since I moved out within a few weeks of notifying them, not only did I pay the last month's rent but I ALSO had to pay an additional fee just for moving out before my end of lease date. So if you move out before your lease end date, I guess just try not to actually tell them/pretend you're still living there till the end, so they don't try to hunt you down almost 3 years later for some more money and a big hit to your credit score. Note that when I moved out, there was no communication to me about the "insufficient notice" fee - I even have an email from management saying that I just had to pay my last month's rent, which I did. Without further ado, here is my laundry list of complaints of why no one should live here: 1. Logistics/lack of safety a. Garage door stays open too long, other cars without a parking pass followed me in all the time b. The front desk often won’t tell me about flower or food deliveries (perishable items) which my boyfriend likes to send to me as a surprise c. There is no reliable way to get ahold of the front desk and security is rarely there d. People have repeatedly been let up to my apartment without warning from the front desk despite the individuals not being on my approved guest list 2. Presentation/community a. Music played by neighbors is so loud that it physically shakes my walls b. The hallways constantly smell like weed and the only crack down on smoking since I’ve been here is one notice sent to residents during a holiday weekend that smoking should not occur on balconies c. Within a few months of moving in, one-third of my light bulbs were burnt out d. Within a few months of moving in, my fire alarm went off for being damaged due to battery acid leakage on the inside. Off duty maintenance had to be called by Property Management since no one was picking up when I tried to call. The noise terrified my dog and he hid in a closet for hours while this was all happening. e. There is no way online to see payment history for rent and utilities (maybe this has changed since I moved out?) f. Hot water in the shower does not last for longer than 15 minutes and the bathtub cannot be fully filled with hot water 3. Health a. The trash chute is commonly overflowing b. Ants and flies constantly everywhere c. There is a concerning amount of mold in my bathroom sink faucet all the time 4. When I moved in a. No real loading dock - you have to just park in the parking garage and hopefully get a spot close to the elevator b. Freight elevator was not reserved for me despite requesting so with significant notice in advance c. Toilet was not working d. Half the outlets were not working 5. Courtyard a. This is legitimately the only reason I moved here and almost immediately it was either partially shut down and eventually fully shut down for code violations b. The process of getting the area up to code was wildly lengthy and poorly communicated (I wonder if this has been fixed since I moved out?) c. No alternative was offered to residents despite us getting notified that we would be given an alternative; there was also no reduction in our monthly "pet rent" fees d. The area surrounding the Flats is not safe for dogs as it’s constantly littered with broken glass, cigarettes and trash so that's not a sufficient alternative
Meghan D — Google review
They are penny pinchers here and pick and choose when to enforce fines. They already charge us for door to door pick up $35 for valet trash and gave me a fine for leaving my trash bag out before I went out of town for 4 days and told me I should have walked to the trash chute on which mind you is on the other side of our apartments (3 hallways down to be exact). They charged me $50 additionally on top of my base rent and considered it to be “damages” due it being 30 minutes out before they pick up trash. I have seen people do it hours before our assigned time and they never received any lease violation notices. Management picks and chooses when to enforce things and it’s a shame. Shame on you guys. There’s plenty of other apartments more reasonable priced. Save your money and live somewhere else. In addition, they do nothing when people park in your assigned parking spot which they also charge us $200 monthly for. I had to fight for weeks to get them to have someone stop parking in my spot. Money grabbers !!!
Ophealia — Google review
Ugly property, overly expensive, rude clients. Living here increases your chances of alcoholism and bankruptcy significantly! Try moving a few miles away from here for better value, people, and quality of life.
Steven L — Google review
Management never answers the phone I have been living here for 6 months and still on a "parking waiting list" I currently park ten minutes walking distance from my apartment and it has been horrible in the winter! They claim its a 4 week wait for parking but I cant even get in contact to confirm my placement on the "waiting list"... also parking is $250 a month here! I cannot wait to leave! I have been touring other apartments around the area in preparation of leaving... save your time and money CHOOSE ANOTHER APARTMENT COMPLEX!

Guy tried charging me 12 dollars for a six pack of bud light and a small bag of chips. Didn't scan the products. Just "typed" a price into the cash register. When I brought it up, he charged me the correct price for the beer, which he had memorized. Maybe it was a mistake. I don't know but since so many people in this world do there very best to try and rip me off, I've decided that I will not be back to this store.
