Toad Rock is a unique rock formation located about 5 kilometers from Mount Abu town, offering stunning views of Nakki Lake. The area is known for its various tourist attractions, including Trevors Tank with a tubular watchtower for observing wildlife like panthers, crocodiles, and more. Visitors can also explore the beautiful Dilwara Jain Temple, Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary, and scenic spots like Nakki Lake and Guru Shikhar.
Toad Rock is a charming and easily accessible attraction in Mount Abu. The "toad" shape of the rock is uncanny and a fun sight to behold! Beyond the novelty, the viewpoint from around the rock offers beautiful, unobstructed views of Nakki Lake, especially lovely during sunset or sunrise. It’s a nice, short walk from the main market area, making it a convenient stop to add to your itinerary. Perfect for a quick visit and some great photos! #toadrock #Mountabu

It is worth watching the rock and the scene of the lake from the top is beautiful if there is no fog. Toad rock is not maintained well, even people build a shop just beneath the toad rock which sells things that charges 50% more than MRP, also compromising the photographic scenery. People often come here to smoke and drink too.
Harikrishnan K — Google review
We had a wonderful time at Toad Rock in Mount Abu. The weather was amazing during our visit – light rain and fog made the place even more beautiful and peaceful. The view of Nakki Lake from the top looked magical in that atmosphere. It was a truly enjoyable experience and a must-visit spot in Mount Abu.

The Toad That Leaps into Beauty Toad Rock is one of Mount Abu’s most recognizable and charming landmarks, and it truly earns its reputation as the hill station's mascot. This massive, uniquely-shaped natural rock formation genuinely looks like a giant toad perched on the cliff, ready to leap into the tranquil waters of Nakki Lake below. The sheer novelty of the formation makes it a must-see. The Experience: The visit begins with a short but invigorating trek. You'll need to climb approximately 250 to 300 steps to reach the viewpoint. While the climb is manageable, wear comfortable shoes and take it at a leisurely pace. The highlight is, without a doubt, the view from the top. Once you reach the summit, you are rewarded with a spectacular, panoramic vista. You get an unobstructed, breathtaking view of: Nakki Lake glistening in the valley. The surrounding lush green Aravalli hills. The entire Mount Abu town. It’s an absolute paradise for photographers, especially during the early morning hours or at sunset, when the light paints the landscape in golden hues. Pros: Unique Natural Wonder: The rock's resemblance to a toad is uncanny and a fun sight to witness. Stunning Views: Offers arguably the best panoramic view of Nakki Lake and the surrounding area. Free Entry: A great, budget-friendly activity with no entry fee. Invigorating Trek: The short hike adds a pleasant, adventurous element to the visit. Cons & Tips for Visitors: Staircase Condition: Be cautious, as several reviewers note that the stairs leading up to the rock are poorly maintained and broken in places, which can be risky for young children or senior citizens. Crowds: Visit early in the morning (around sunrise) to beat the crowds and enjoy a more peaceful experience. Limited Amenities: There are very few facilities at the top, so bring your own water. Local Maintenance: Some visitors have expressed disappointment regarding littering and poor general maintenance of the immediate area around the rock.

Toad Rock is a unique frog-shaped rock near Nakki Lake, you have to do little trek for reaching here, maybe 250 to 300 steps. Steps hoing through greenery. The view from the top is stunning, especially when the weather is clear — perfect for photography. However, the spot is not well-maintained. Shops beneath the rock overcharge for items, and the place is sometimes misused by visitors, which can affect the experience.
Hrishu R — Google review
Good place but one time only. Just a view of Abu Parvat and a toad shaped rock. Around 280 to 285 stairs to reach Toad Rock and condition of stairs are very bad and risky in rainy season. Else good to go.

Honeymoon Point, also referred to as Anadara Point, is a popular destination in Mount Abu known for its stunning sunset views over the Aravalli Range. The vantage point offers breathtaking vistas of lush green valleys and plains from its elevated position of 4000 feet. The most captivating aspect is, without a doubt, the panoramic view of the lush Aravalli hills and the surrounding valley. The vantage point is spectacular, providing a wide-angle perspective that is perfect for photography. I highly recommend timing your visit to catch the sunset. The way the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple, is absolutely magical and worth the slight trek. 🌄 A Hidden Treasure with a View That Takes Your Breath Away! 🌿 One of the most peaceful and rewarding places I’ve visited. The climb might be a bit challenging with the steep steps, but the view from the top is absolutely worth it! You’ll be greeted by a sweeping panorama of green valleys, farmlands, and endless skies — a perfect spot to disconnect from the chaos of city life and reconnect with nature. The fresh mountain air, the rustling of the trees, and the silence broken only by birdsong make it a serene escape. Ideal for hikers, nature photographers, or anyone looking to soak in some natural beauty and tranquility. Highly recommended for a day trip if you’re craving adventure and unforgettable views! Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. 🌿👣📸

It’s a nice place to visit if there’s a crowd around. Otherwise, it’s better to skip it, the 1-2 km trek through the forest can be a bit scary and there’s a risk of wild animals. That said, the spot offers a beautiful scenic view, the soothing sound of a waterfall, and birds chirping all around. Sharing a few pictures I clicked there.

A much better option as compared to sunset point in Mount Abu. The road towards this point was scenic and was neat and clean in compared to that dirty sunset point road. The entire point had multiple view points where you can spend hours without any disruption. The sunset view was amazing specially during winters and summers.

A romantic escape with magical sunset views! I recently visited Honeymoon Point atop Mount Abu, and it truly lives up to its name. Nestled around 4,000 ft high, this vantage offers panoramic views of Nakki Lake below and the rolling Aravalli hills—especially stunning at sunset when the sky transforms into vibrant shades of orange and pink. If you cherish serene landscapes, romantic moments, or peaceful solo reflection. The sunset views are unforgettable, the walk enjoyable, and the ambiance calming. Pack comfy shoes, bring water/snacks, and head there for a perfect evening retreat.

No tickets. But you will have to walk around 1 km from point where no vehicles allowed further. The view on the walk way to honeymoon point is awesome and peaceful.

The four stars I have given for the view nd the location ... Beautiful view at time of sunset ... But yaa rhe authority should allow two wheeler inside ...the walk can make you tired at once but the view sums it up all .... But when you want to return you feel exhausted nd there comes some riders with scooty or bike nd charge 100 rupees per person to live you at the point where you dropped your bike scooty or car ... That was the bad part I felt otherwise so beautiful

Vista point
Sunset Point in Mount Abu, Rajasthan is a popular spot known for its breathtaking sunset views and stunning mountaintop scenery. It's a favorite among both expert and novice trekkers, as well as photographers seeking the unique and mystical sunset and sunrise vistas. The area comes alive with tourist enthusiasm, especially during the Annual Winter Festival at the end of December, featuring cultural celebrations and activities like musical performances, dancing, kite flying, and firework displays.
Sunset Point in Mount Abu is truly nothing less than heaven on earth. The viewpoint is located around 800 meters ahead of the ticket counter, and the path leading to it is equally scenic. Watching the golden sunset here is an unforgettable experience as the rays beautifully color the sky and mountains. Surrounded by lush greenery, rocky cliffs, and cool breeze, this place offers pure relaxation and peace. There are also special photography tables where you can click amazing pictures to keep the memories alive forever. If you’re visiting Mount Abu, Sunset Point is a must-visit destination that will make your trip truly memorable.
Rakesh K — Google review
Sunset Point in Mount Abu offers a panoramic view of the valley and Aravalli range. You need to walk around 400–500 meters to reach the spot or you can take horse or man pushed hand carts. The sunset itself depends a lot on the weather—sometimes clear, sometimes hidden behind clouds. What spoils the experience is the high entry fee (₹150 for adults, ₹75 for students) which feels unjustified. The trail is not well maintained and is littered with horse poop, making the walk unpleasant. Could be a great place with better upkeep and fair pricing.
Joydeep G — Google review
Nice place to end the day in Mount Abu. But the place is overly crowded as the place is small to accommodate lot of people. There are small cart type facility to take people to the sunset point. They charge ₹100 per person in 2025. However, we did not take them and could easily reach the view point. Ultimately you have to climb the stairs at the end to reach the view point. The place become dark soon after the sunset as there was no street light. So you better rush back to the junction point as soon as possible. Overall it was a nice experience before we checked into our hotel room.

Sunset Point, Mount Abu – Must Visit Spot! The walk to Sunset Point is around 1 km from the parking/start point. You can either enjoy the scenic walk or hire a horse (₹300) or a handcart (₹200) for convenience. At the top, there are multiple spots to enjoy the sunset view. I chose to go all the way up — totally worth it! The view was breathtaking, especially from the highest point. Even though I visited during the off-season, the place was still quite crowded, showing how popular it is. Beautiful skies, cool breeze, and scenic surroundings made it a perfect evening. A must-visit if you’re in Mount Abu!

Overall, it’s a must-visit attraction in Mount Abu for nature lovers and anyone seeking a serene, unforgettable experience.

There's a fee to get to the sunset spot. It's about 500 meters from the entrance, but you can hire a horse or trolley. Sometimes you might see a bear on the way. The view is amazing, totally worth it! They sell snacks up there – noodles, popcorn, corn, that sort of thing. Just heads up, no bathrooms though.

You can visit this place and go for boating in the lake. The lake has lots of fishes but beware of the snakes which are present there. You can take shared boats, boat that can be rides by two person or a four person boat for half an hour ride. There is a Shivji temple that is located in the centre of the lake, you can easily go there by your boat. Thank you.

Mount Abu has a great outdoors to experience. The real beauty lies in the nature when you visit a view point, caves, jungle and water streams within the wild limit of Abu. Himanshu and his team shared a great experience with me and my friends. It made our trip memorable.

We were searching for a small easy mountain trek at mount Abu. Google suggested us Himanshu and team. Their response was quick, even on Sunday. Craig s trail was advised to us. Trail is super scenic with greenery all around. They have a deep knowledge of flora and fauna. My daughter was constantly engaged by them. Summit was easy to achieve and was marvellous. Fantastic photos were taken by Himanshu and Jitu. I strongly recommend their team for any trek at Mount Abu.

Hiking in Mount Abu wad a very different experience. Being a native of Udaipur, Mt. Abu is a very frequent destination for us. While trekking in Jungle we find this time Abu as a totally new new place for us. Himanshu shared a great deal of local information. His team is very profecient and takes activities quite well.

Visit to Mount Abu without a Eco Adventure tour is incomplete. Take a jungle trekking and feel the diference feel the nature. Relaxation is a natural when you got to see the caves, varity of birds creeping in the morning is amazing. We were lucky enough to sight a wild bear thats also twice on single trek. I beleive Himanshu has enough expertse for Mount Abu forest and the wild life that takes shelter within.Experience is value for time & money.

Nature & Parks
Nestled in the Aravalli hills, Brahmakumaris Peace Park is a serene oasis offering a tranquil escape from the chaos of everyday life. The well-maintained gardens and lush greenery provide an ideal setting for meditation and relaxation. Visitors can explore various plant species and enjoy spiritual teachings from friendly volunteers. The park also features an exhibition of herbal plants and gramodyog items, as well as detailed descriptions of jyotirlings and a Shivling idol.
5 rate for beautiful garden and beautiful nature... It's very beautiful huge garden. But it's not allow to photography of flowers. And some areas has been not allow to go. Still I can click some pictures. Some pictures has recent picture and some photo video has been monsoon times pictures.

Peace Park in Mount Abu has always been a beautiful and serene place to visit. I’ve been here many times, and it used to feel incredibly refreshing. However, I feel like the maintenance isn’t as great as it used to be—maybe a 10% decline. It’s still peaceful and well-kept, just not at its best. The greenery, calm atmosphere, and spiritual vibes remain soothing, making it a good place to relax and unwind. If you're a nature lover who enjoys watching flowers and lush greenery, this spot is perfect for you. I just hope they bring back the same level of care it once had.

They are trying hard to feed these young generations with some good manners and how actually one should lead a life. Personally, I would not say this is a picnic spot. They are communicating to the public. They have a good message for young bloods. Again it's up to an individual of how to lead their own life.

Brahma Kumari Peace Park Peace Park is built and maintained by the Brahma Kumaris, located just below the Guru Shikhar temple in Mount Abu. The place is calm, scenic and filled with divine energy. Lush trees, colourful flowers and clean pathways make it a perfect spot for peaceful reflection. Inside the park, there is a small shop with Brahma Baba artefacts and a unique Kumbhakarna show for visitors. Outside the garden, you will find a few high-priced snack stores, along with many souvenir shops where a little bargaining helps you get the best items. Even a short visit feels refreshing for the mind and soul, and the weather carries a mystic scent of nature. Om Shanti.

Park is excellent but no basic washroom facility. Peace park does not have washroom and when asked need to use it for small kid. They said it is outside park. Outside park we searched we found one which was in filthy and dirty condition and that was from govt of rajasthan. So kindly request many of brahma kumari devoittees are doing seva in park. Kindly make one washroom for them atleast if not for visitors.
