1Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora

Hotel
Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora is a luxurious waterfront hotel offering upscale rooms, suites, and villas. The property features an impressive array of amenities including a spa, 5 pools (including seawater and freshwater options), and 7 restaurants serving international standard Japanese, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine. The hotel's design combines palatial opulence with influences from Morocco and the Far East.
My experience at Hotel Palacio de Isora was simply exceptional. From the moment of arrival, you can feel the organization, the kindness of the staff, and the attention to every detail. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer stunning views of the ocean and gardens. Everything is spotless and perfectly maintained. The infinity pools are breathtaking — ideal for relaxing in total tranquility — and the gardens are beautifully cared for. The spa and relaxation areas are a true luxury. The gastronomy at the hotel also deserves special mention: great variety, high quality, and beautifully presented dishes in every restaurant. But without a doubt, what makes the experience truly unforgettable is the human touch. At the Oasis Restaurant, the service from Erika, Bea, and Javi was absolutely outstanding — friendly, attentive, professional, and always with a smile. They turn every meal into something special. Thanks to them and to the entire team, the hotel’s service reaches an excellent level. Truly, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The best of the best.
Punit K — Google review
My recent stay at the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora was absolutely wonderful, and I can't recommend it highly enough. We booked an ocean view room, and the view itself was breathtakingly incredible. Waking up to the sight and sound of the Atlantic every morning was a highlight of our trip and truly elevated the entire experience. The hotel grounds and services are top-notch, and the staff was truly exceptional. We especially appreciated how attentive they were regarding our baby's milk allergy. The staff was so helpful and kind, and they cooked a special, custom breakfast for him every single morning, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. For families, there are many activities scheduled throughout the day and an excellent area dedicated to infants, which made traveling with our little one so much easier and more enjoyable. The hotel offers a selection of several different restaurants, each with unique cuisine. While the quality of the food at each was high, please note that the prices were quite high. Additionally, each restaurant seems to specialize in a single meal service (e.g., one only offers breakfast, another only lunch, and another only dinner). This structure meant there weren't a lot of dining options available for a specific mealtime, which could be a little repetitive over a longer stay. A note on location: the hotel is a bit far from the main city areas, so I would strongly advise guests rent a car to fully enjoy Tenerife and explore the surrounding towns with ease. Overall, the stunning ocean view, the fantastic amenities for children, and the genuinely caring staff made this an unforgettable five-star experience. We'd return in a heartbeat!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect – Beyond 5 Stars! Our stay at the Grand Meliá Tenerife Red Level was nothing short of perfection from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty — every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The Red Level service is on another level entirely: personal, attentive, and full of thoughtful touches that make you feel truly special. The check-in process was smooth and elegant, our room was stunning with breathtaking views, and every detail — from the luxurious bedding to the delicious welcome treats — was flawless. The pools and grounds are absolutely immaculate, with gorgeous design and plenty of space to relax in peace. The breakfast and dining options were exceptional — beautifully presented, fresh, and full of variety. Every meal felt like a fine dining experience. The spa, ambiance, and attention to detail made it the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Grand Meliá truly does. This was actually our return visit, and it was just as magical as the first time — perhaps even more so. We already can’t wait to come back again next year because we simply love it that much. If you’re looking for luxury, serenity, and world-class service, this is it. A true slice of paradise in Tenerife. 🌴✨ --- A special mention to Mario on reception, who is absolutely first class — so professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. And Mohamed, who took us on the buggy to get our showers on our last day, was wonderful and so smiley — the perfect example of the warmth and kindness that make this hotel stand out.

Our stay at Palacio de Isora was simply wonderful. The whole place exudes tranquility and elegance, with immaculate facilities and the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy. What truly made the difference was the excellent quality of the food and, above all, the lunch service. We would like to give special thanks to Bea, Erika, and Javi, who were absolutely lovely—attentive, professional, and always offering a personalized service. They made every meal a pleasant and memorable experience. A perfect combination of great gastronomy, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Without a doubt, a place we would return to without hesitation. Thank you for making us feel so well cared for! 🌸

5 star facility but 4 star service! Pros : beautiful resort with so many facilities and fun entertainment. great for both couples and families. Cons: Service isn't match with its stars: *upon our arrival we tried to book restaurants and we realised they all were fully booked for our first 2 days. so no choice you should go to buffet which is disappointing. *we have been told poolside service is only for Cabanas and rest the should go to bar if they want food or drink, which is again surprising! * In various occasions we have been given incorrect information, for instance we had a tour book for 8am and we asked recipient if there is early breakfast option available and answer was no however on our last day we have been told there is a separate small breakfast being served early morning for those who need to leave early. overall, though I had a pleasant stay, I expected way better service for 5 star resort.

Our stay at Hotel Palacio de Isora was excellent in every way: the facilities are stunning, the gardens are beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere reflects true relaxation and luxury. But without a doubt, what made us feel most at home was the service at the Oasis restaurant. We especially want to highlight Erika, Bea, and Javi, who attended us with exceptional kindness, professionalism, and warmth. Always attentive, always smiling, and making every meal a special experience. Thank you to the whole team for your dedication and attention to detail. We will definitely be back!

Another beautiful stay comes to an end, this is the third time we have visited this hotell. We love it for its location, gorgeous facilities, views and access to a black beach. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. We wanted to make a special mention this time around to Oscar, the pancake artist in the Red Level breakfast. He was so sweet and patient with the children every single morning, and delivered amazing creations to their briefs each time with a smile. What a sterling member of the team! We will most likely come back again next year, highly recommended.

My experience at Hotel Palacio de Isora was excellent, but what truly made the difference was the Oasis Restaurant. The food was spectacular — every dish was carefully prepared and full of flavor. I’d like to especially highlight the restaurant team: Erika, Bea, and Javi, who provided impeccable service — always attentive, friendly, and with a smile. Thanks to them, every meal became a special moment. Definitely a place to return to and recommend. Thank you for making the experience so pleasant and unique!

The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is a luxurious beachfront hotel and golf resort that offers elegant accommodations, exquisite dining options, and a lavish spa. Nestled amidst banana plantations and rocky cliffs, the expansive citadel boasts stunning architecture with casbah-style stone corridors, open-air staircases, Moorish fountains, and pastel pink turrets reminiscent of Grenada's Alhambra.
I read some reviews initially prior to booking which made me weary about staying at this hotel, but I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. Everything you might expect from staying at a Ritz collection hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming from the moment I stepped onto the premises. The buffet breakfast was phenomenal, and the room overall was great. There's some great live music in the center of the hotel sometimes which creates a really nice ambience, the entire vibe of the hotel is great and it's exactly what you'd imagine a stay at a Ritz hotel would feel like in the Canary Islands. I only visited for two days but wished I'd stayed longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any couples and other travellers looking for a luxury all-inclusive getaway. I'd like to extend special thanks to Hugo and Anne who provided exceptional care and kindness when dealing with my partner and I during the check-in and check-out process.

Absolutely Amazing, beautiful, gorgeous hotel. BEST STAFF AND SERVICE!!! They left a towel-animal in our room and a note saying “good studying” because they saw my school books! Great breakfast. We go travelling probably 4-6 every year to different hotels and Airbnbs but this one has been the best one yet. And Taxis are ready wenn you need them and are free of charge for a trip to the abama golf course and tennis club. The golf, tennis and other activities are perfect for familys. The pool is also amazing.

We had a great stay at the Ritz Carlton Tenerife! The valet service with complimentary car parking was a fantastic touch - it was a wonderful surprise! The breakfast spread was over the top and exceptional staff who went above and beyond. They offer a train ride to the beach - an absolute perk that added to our overall experience. The beach itself was beautiful, with crystal-clear waters and shallow shores perfect for a relaxing day out. And with plenty of umbrellas available, we didn't have to worry about finding a spot. The evenings were just as magical, with live music performances on the terrace overlooking the breathtaking sunset. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day spent soaking up the sun by the pool or beach. The staff's attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly special.

Magical stay in a perfect destination: While the southern part of Tenerife lacks the lush greenery of tropical islands, the Ritz-Carlton more than compensates. It offers an expanse of beauty, greenery, and luxury within one resort. The property includes the main building, villas, multiple pools, and a stunning beach. The rooms are spacious and elegant, and the outdoor areas are as meticulously maintained as the interiors. The food is excellent, especially the meat dishes and Spanish tapas. Golf course, tennis courts, gym—you name it, they have it. All of this comes with picturesque views of the mountains. The cherry on top: the warm, customer-oriented service of the staff, with meticulous attention to detail. The last time I stayed at this hotel was in 2011, when it was still Abama. While the geography and architecture remain the same, the Ritz-Carlton touch of luxury is now evident in every detail. One point for improvement: the funicular leading to the beach was not working during our stay. Hopefully it will be repaired soon.

What an amazing resort! The facilities are outstanding and really well kept! We just spent a full week in the resort and literally did not leave the facilities! There is so much this hotel has to offer, you will not get bored! A big shout-out to its staff, which is really genuine and make your stay a most memorable one! Jhon, Carla, Shango, Saray and Anlui at Mirador, Elias at Txoko, Felipe at Verona, Giscar and Alberto at the pool, are really amazing! Thank you for the best stay ever!

The best holiday my partner and I shared together, after a very busy and stressful year we needed this to reset. We got a lovely upgrade and all the staff were amazing and very helpful/attentive to us. We stayed at the Retreat section and were incredibly well served especially by Walleed and Nikolaus. Thank you very much to all the staff! We tried 3 restaurants, Pampa, Verde Mar and Akira Back and can say they were fenomenal (Verde Mar was a bit overdone in the dishes but still good). Also would 100% recommend enjoying the spa, we got a complimentary 2-hour water tour and booked a couples massage which was amazing. We will be coming back sooner rather than later!

Im at the hotel right now, and incredibly surprised. It’s almost as if the other reviews are describing a different hotel. This is a 5star facility but the service in some parts is distinctly lacking and more like what you’d find in 2 or 3 star place. Firstly the good parts breakfast (food/service) and room cleaning is great. The bad though massively outweighs it. The pool area is really poorly managed, it’s almost impossible to get served by the pool, it’s dirty, rubbish is not collected quickly, and frequently guests have to sort out their own sun loungers while the 4 staff stand in the shade ignoring everything around them. The main terrace bar left us waiting 45 minutes for a 7up and fizzy orange, we were loath to order again, but did and had a similar wait for round 2. Also the new txoko restaurant has similar problems. Twice in 2 days they left us waiting for part of our order, meaning the other food would have gone cold when the second part arrived 20minutes later. The beach club works well, and breakfast is fantastic, but there are clearly areas of the resort that are poorly managed and the staff work rate is rather slow with many chatting or standing around while guests get more and more exasperated and resort to trying to plead for help.
Brian A — Google review
The Ritz-Carlton, Abama is one of those rare resorts that truly lives up to the prestige of its name. Nestled on the tranquil southwest coast of Tenerife, this magnificent property offers a level of sophistication, service, and serenity that few destinations can match. From the moment one arrives, the attention to detail and the sense of refined luxury are unmistakable. The hotel’s architecture is striking — a terracotta-coloured Moorish-style citadel surrounded by lush subtropical gardens, cascading pools, and panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean towards La Gomera. The setting feels private and exclusive, yet never pretentious. It strikes the perfect balance between grandeur and warmth, making guests feel both pampered and at ease. Accommodation is nothing short of exceptional. Rooms and suites are spacious, elegantly designed, and immaculately maintained. Many offer expansive terraces with ocean or garden views, and the beds are among the most comfortable to be found anywhere. The Ritz-Carlton’s renowned housekeeping standards are evident, with every detail meticulously cared for. Dining at Abama is a world-class experience in itself. The resort boasts a remarkable selection of restaurants, including the two-Michelin-starred M.B. by Martín Berasategui and the exquisite Kabuki, which offers innovative Japanese fusion cuisine. Even the more casual options, such as El Mirador or the poolside restaurants, deliver excellent quality, fresh ingredients, and impeccable service. Breakfast is particularly memorable — an indulgent spread of international and local delicacies served with genuine warmth by the staff. Service throughout the resort deserves special praise. Every member of staff — from the reception team to the concierge, housekeeping, and restaurant servers — embodies professionalism and a sincere commitment to guest satisfaction. They manage to anticipate needs without intrusion, and their friendliness feels entirely natural. The facilities are extensive and cater to every type of traveller. There are several beautifully maintained swimming pools, a luxurious spa offering an array of treatments, and an exceptional golf course that ranks among the best in Spain. For families, the Ritz Kids Club is outstanding, while couples will find secluded corners for quiet relaxation. The private beach, accessed via a funicular, is a lovely touch — a sheltered cove with soft sand and crystal-clear water. What makes The Ritz-Carlton, Abama truly remarkable, however, is the sense of calm and exclusivity it maintains despite its size. Whether you are seeking a romantic retreat, a family holiday, or simply a few days of restorative luxury, this resort provides an experience that feels both deeply personal and effortlessly elegant. In summary, The Ritz-Carlton, Abama is more than just a hotel — it is an experience in refined hospitality. Its combination of stunning surroundings, world-class dining, attentive service, and understated luxury makes it one of the most exceptional destinations in the Canary Islands. It’s a place you leave reluctantly, already planning your return. Rating: 5/5 ★★★★★

The property boasts a modern design with nautical influences, resembling a luxurious ocean liner. We had the absolute best experience with Bruno at the Spa ! 🤍truly the best massage treatments we’ve ever had! His technique, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the body are on another level. He intuitively knew exactly what was needed, and every detail of the treatment was perfect. We were so impressed that we booked with him two days in a row, and each session left us feeling completely renewed. Beyond his incredible skill, he’s also such a kind and genuine person !!!! the best human to be around. Highly recommend Bruno if you want a world-class, healing massage experience.

My wife and I stayed in the Royal Hideaway Corales Beach adults only hotel for five nights in late September 2025. We hadn’t had chance to get a holiday all year and needed some rest and relaxation. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and this experience only got better as the holiday progressed. The hotel is beautiful, it is split into two sections with one side being suites/apartments and the other hotel rooms. We were in the hotel section. We arrived at about 10pm and were greeted warmly at the reception with a welcome glass of fizz whilst we quickly checked in, during check-in we were given an excellent overview of all the facilities and were shown to our room by a very friendly team member who provided a thorough guide of the room. We were tired from the travel and the introduction was just long enough to let us know the essentials without it being too much. The room was wonderful, very big, everything you could need and it had a large balcony with sea views, the balcony had sun loungers and felt very private. The bed was huge and super comfortable. The giant roll top bath was perfect! The entire hotel is spotlessly clean. There are a number of very high-quality restaurants at the hotel and a more relaxed walk-in restaurant which serves food based on different themes each night. Breakfast is excellent with a large buffet and food available to order from a menu. Everything we had was excellent. The hotel is located close to a small costal town which plays host a number of lovely restaurants and bars situated around the bay, everything felt high quality and fresh. There is also a well stocked convenience store a few minutes walk away. There are a lot of facilities at the hotel including gym and wellness centre. We used two of the hotel pools, one at ground level and also an infinity pool on the roof. At our time of visiting we never had an issue finding somewhere to relax and the pool side service was perfect for our needs. Cocktails were 10/10. The real stars of the hotel are the team, every single person we came into contact with was genuinely friendly and kind, we were left feeling like they really wanted to make sure we were happy. Which we were. The only negative thing about the five days was that we had to leave. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic hotel! It is rare that I cannot or do not want to find a fault but honestly I cannot. After five glorious nights here, sad to be leaving! The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless and well maintained, and the staff were amazing with a nothing is too much trouble attitude which is something rare in Tenerife. The hot tub on our balcony was a highlight and San Ho, one of the three Michelin starred restaurants on site, was outstanding. The spa was excellent with massages and facials delivered to the highest standard. We will definitely be back! Gracias Room 2518

5 stars all round. Spacious room with a huge balcony and incredibly comfortable bed. The service at this hotel really stands out, the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after. Hotel breakfasts are normally a let down but this one was so impressive - they had everything and it was all very tasty. Special shoutout to our waiter Paolo who greeted us with a smile every morning and was super attentive! Would highly recommend this hotel

Royal hideaway is just exceptional on every level - from the moment you walk in you are welcomed with stunning service and smiling staff. The rooms are super clean, large and spacious- the small touches (including the turn down service) are just some of the things that made our stay memorable. The staff are attentive and the bar staff made our drinks and cocktails to perfection every day. We can’t wait to return and we can’t thank the team enough for such an amazing stay

We love our 10 day stay at Royal Hideaway Corales. Everything is top notch. All staff are really wonderful. The hotel is pristine clean. Service is great. We have breakfast and dinner included. The food is excellent. Our room is specious. The balcony is private and large. The hotel is a bit away from the busy part of town yet just a short distance away. The location is perfect. We can’t wait to return.

Well I really dropped the ball not reviewing this place as soon as we came back. My husband and I went in June for both of our birthdays which are back to back. They made us feel so welcome and special and the resort itself is gorgeous. Beautiful views, well situated for a nice morning walk to see the sunset. Everything from small pool bites to Michelin star meals that still make me drool when I think about it. I would recommend this resort to everyone and can’t wait to go back myself.

It was absolutely remarkable experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were there for 5 nights and the service was top tier excellence. The hi-light of our stay is breakfast selections and the attentiveness of staff, specially Jéssica, We are lucky having her as our attendant. She remembered our coffee preferences and by day 3 when we sat down and ordered coffee with her, she said she has already ordered that for us. Very impressive! And also the room attendant named Margarita did a remarkable job on tidy up the room as well as the attendant on the rooftop swimming pool. I don’t remember her name but she was very very attentive and kind and sweet to us. She also remembered us and waved at us every time go up to the rooftop pool. Super friendly. Love that. The whole experience was magnificent. Absolutely 5 star experiences. Great job to all staffs and crews in all departments. They all should get recognised for their hard work! Well done 👏🏻

Hotel Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden is a luxurious retreat located in a residential area near the beautiful Botanical Gardens and just a mile away from the black sand beach of Puerto de la Cruz. The hotel exudes an air of sophistication reminiscent of Monte Carlo, with its elegant rooms, refined dining options, and a serene spa that has an exotic touch. The property boasts lush tropical grounds with tree-shaded walks and a well-maintained garden pond where black swans gracefully swim.
I travelled to Puerto de la Cruz for a wedding in March 2025. The Botanico had been recommended to me, and I'm glad it was. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, but what stood out the most was the over-the-top service that I experienced there. I had made a mistake while booking the hotel, and the manager went out of her way to resolve the problem, and despite the fact that I had caused the problem, she was gracious and so incredibly nice about the whole affair. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Santa Cruz

Our second stay in as many years and this year was equally exceptional!! The hotel itself is stunning, but the service from the staff is next level. This place is incredible. If 6 star reviews were possible they would be awarded. Also the North of the island is by far superior to the south. I only wish flights to the North were more readily available.

How do you describe perfection? Absolute flawless hotel, stunning throughout and you are treated like family the moment you arrive. From Antonio at the door, Marta on reception, Susana in public relations, Raul in the Spanish restaurant, Patrick in the Italian the service is simply first class. Sumptuous breakfast, outstanding comfort and relaxation, we never return to a hotel but the Botánico breaks the mould. We cannot wait to return, highly recommended

Perfect place to stay on our holiday in Tenerife! The hotel is decorated nicely and the grounds are beautiful. We loved the birds in the aviary! Staff very sweet and attentive and food delicious too. We booked this via “Get Your Guide” which was way cheaper than the prices on the website. It was a very good experience but three hours maximum is about all we could do. Sauna, Turkish Steam Room, a variety of showers, plunge pool, hot jacuzzi’s, various bubble/jet areas and water showers for massaging the body and a small “lazy river” type thing. Also a warm salt water pool. Need to take your own towel (into the spa area as have to use it in the sauna) if you don’t book direct. Clean facilities, well looked after. Entry and lockers operated by a wristband you are given on arrival. Beds/chairs around the edge of the pool to relax and a relaxation room. We didn’t use the gym and wasn’t sure we could if we wanted to. Little cafe in the entrance for when you come out thirsty and hungry! I would recommend a visit if you fancy something relaxing to do.

All of the individual parts of the spa were lovely. The jacuzzi, the jets and the salt pool were particular highlights. Advertised well as individual elements. The whole spa is in need of a bit of a revamp - the walls are just bare breeze blocks so give it a leisure centre vibe rather than a luxury spa (as it markets itself). Same with the changing rooms. A few things made this not the perfect relaxing visit we hoped for but all could be improved in the future. We got the VIP day for two for €100 between us - the difference being we got a Balinese bed and some food. The bed was just the same as the others in the corner of the relaxing areas with a canopy overhead - it was reserved for us which was nice but nothing amazing here. The food was a joke really for the price - 10 potatoes between us and as we weren’t drinking opted for juice and it was a child’s carton of synthetic juice. Also the website says children 10am-12pm only but children were in the pool the whole time we were there 12pm - 2:30pm. There was also a man in his underwear rather than swim shorts which was obviously really unpleasant.

I highly recommend this spa and would definitely be a member if I lived in Tenerife. My wife and I were visiting and we enjoyed our experience there so much that we returned a few days later despite only visiting Tenerife for just under a week! The spa is very well maintained and boasts an excellent mix of treatments, facilities and services to cater to your every need. All the staff that we interacted with were extremely pleasant and kind - the attention to customer service and experience was definitely one of the highlights. Besides the spa package I also opted for a massage, specifically the intense massage. Without a doubt that was one of the best massages I've ever had. I would highly recommend that you ask for Vera if she is available - she worked wonders on my back! On our first visit I had a 30 minute massage which I enjoyed so much that on our second visit I chose to have an hour long massage. That should tell you what you need to know about what a great experience it was! All in all, we left the spa extremely relaxed and satisfied with our experience there along with all the lovely people that attended to us so well. Needless to say, we'll be back at Aqua whenever we visit Tenerife next!

I always use the spa's in 5 star hotels and I had the best massage of my life here! All the staff were so nice ESPECIALLY Josue at reception. He was so kind and informative. There was nothing he could not do for us. He definitely made the experience even better, he looked after us so well. I would recommend this spa to everyone 10/10

Fantastic Spa, would definitely recommend 👌 Visited here for a girlie day celebrating my birthday and it was awesome! Staff were super friendly & couldn't have been more helpful. Facilities were lovely and 2 hours was just the right amount of time. Also visited the hair salon while there and even that was 5*****. Will definitely visit again on my next holiday to Tenerife!

I've come here many times over the years. It's impressive how this places improves over time instead of the usual aging of spas. It's clean, well organized, maintained and attended by very professional and attentive staff. The variety of experiences and pools makes it worth every penny. It also has s great cafeteria with fair prices and good quality snacks and coffee. I'll for sure keep coming back.

Although the aqua gym and spa facilities are absolutely amazing and I genuinely loved the experience, I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with how they handled my subscription. I paid €95 for a 1-month Silver pass. After 24 days, I informed the staff that I would be travelling and kindly asked to pause the remaining 6 days. At first, they said it wasn't possible due to policy—but then confirmed they would make an exception. I even handed over my wristband (pulsera) to ensure it wouldn’t be misused during my absence. When I returned, they claimed that the staff had recorded in the system that I knew I couldn’t resume the remaining days—which is completely false. They used my good-faith gesture of returning the wristband as a way to justify not honouring what was promised. This was MISLEADING and DISHONEST. The facilities are fantastic, but trust matters—and this experience broke that trust. I will only consider coming back if the management takes responsibility and resolves this. If not, I'm done.

Sol Costa Atlantis is a modern hotel with polished facilities, including a buffet restaurant, spa, and outdoor pool. Guests have praised the rooftop spa with a stunning beach view and the family rooms equipped with amenities like flat-screen TVs and private terraces. The hotel's location just 50 meters from Martianez Beach and Lago Martianez pool complex makes it an ideal choice for travelers seeking convenience and relaxation. However, some guests have noted that additional charges for certain spa facilities were disappointing.
We had a great 10 day stay here..Rooms were good and reasonably spacious; ours overlooked the sea so we had a good view. Right next to the beach and a few minutes walk from the lido. This hotel looks smart but some of the surrounding hotels could certainly do with some updating. Probably the nicest part of Puerto de la Cruz is near the botanic gardens, about 20 min walk away. Breakfast was excellent. Evening buffet was good with plenty of variety.

Great hotel. Nice location on the sea-front. The rooms were clean and modern with good free wifi. There was a vending machine in the corridor for when you get the munchies but don't want to go out! There is a small library near reception, but it's hidden, so you may have to ask. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Brochures from the tour operators are available here if needed. The restaurant is generally very good, but not a huge choice for vegans. Be aware the the car park is beneath the hotel. It's not a problem but can be a little awkward if you're not comfortable manoeuvring in tight spaces. The ramp down is quite steep. The hotel is well positioned with a pharmacy and a small supermarket nearby.

Absolutely lovely experience.Fanstastic location with a beautiful view of the ocean and nice windy walk to the promenade. Very close to some of the more authentic places which not commercialised at all. The staff was amazing and service was fantastic. The food was amazing and I love the cocktails at the hotel. I will definitely be retuning for best of North Tenerife.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here last year and this year in september, it was a great hotel even before the refurb but now looks even more amazing. The staff are great, the buffet is lovely with different things on each night at dinner. The room gets cleaned everyday which is a nice feeling after a long day at the beach, the location is perfect. Ignore any other reviews that are not 5 stars and book it if youre thinking of going!! im sure we will be back multiple times again. Thank you for a 10 out 10 experience once again!😃😃

We spent 9 night in the hotel in June 2025. Hotel was completely renovated. Room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony. Pool was big and not too busy. We enjoyed the breakfast. Location was also very nice, close to the local promenade but from the more quiet side.

Just back from 10 days at this lovely hotel and our sea view room was excellent. All staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food for breakfast & dinner buffet style plentiful and varied and drink prices were very reasonable. All in all would return.

Very nice large room, cleaned daily. Not the best solution for tv, you have to connect this to your phone to be able to watch Netflix or anything and you keep losing connection. No option for local programs.

Hotel Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur is a stunning Andalusian-style resort in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. The hotel offers a luxurious experience with its colonial Canarian architecture and lush surroundings. Guests can enjoy the five swimming pools, spa and wellness center, as well as two excellent restaurants on-site. The elegant rooms feature terracotta floor tiles and four-poster beds, while the hotel's amenities include a gym and thermal spa.
There’s so much I could say about this hotel. From the moment you arrive, everything feels welcoming and well thought-out. The bedrooms are incredibly spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the place in top condition. The staff are honestly one of the best parts of the experience. They’re so attentive, friendly, and approachable always happy to help with anything you need, and they really make you feel at home. The location is ideal. Tucked away just enough to offer peace and quiet, but still close to everything you might want to see or do. Plus, the views are absolutely stunning. Overall, both of our stays here have been nothing short of amazing. We’ve made some lovely memories and will definitely keep coming back. Can’t recommend it highly enough! And to top it all off, they gave us a beautiful little gift to take home, such a thoughtful gesture that truly shows how much they care about their guests.

The best hotel I've never been to before – absolutely perfect from beginning to end! The lady at the reception desk was incredibly friendly, and we were even welcomed with drinks upon arrival. Our room was huge, offering plenty of space and comfort. There was lots of room in the pool, so it never felt crowded. Breakfast was delicious with a big variety of food – and yes, it even included champagne! 😳😎 The hotel itself was very quiet and peaceful – just perfect if you're looking to relax. I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. Oh, and I almost forgot... I was surprised with a slice of birthday cake and a bottle of champagne delivered to our room – what a treat! 🎉❤️

We recently stayed at this hotel for six nights for our honeymoon and were very impressed with the beautiful scenery and elegant setting. However, we were quite disappointed with several aspects of our stay. In our opinion, this hotel feels more like a 4-star property rather than a true 5-star, especially considering the high price we paid for one of the most expensive rooms. My husband called the hotel a few weeks before our arrival to let them know it was our honeymoon. He was assured that a note had been made and that something special would be arranged in the room. Upon arrival, we mentioned again that we were celebrating our honeymoon. The receptionist kindly gave us a spa voucher, which we appreciated, but when we entered our room there was no decoration, no complimentary treats—nothing at all to make the occasion feel special. It was disappointing, particularly for a 5-star hotel. Another letdown was how everything seemed to come at an extra cost, even after spending so much on our stay. In all 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at, the minibar is included even if it’s a standard room, but here, every item in the minibar was charged separately. The jacuzzi was also disappointing—it doesn’t have a heating system, so each time you want to use it, you have to drain and refill it with hot water, which takes quite a while. Breakfast was another area that fell short. Although there was variety, the selection stayed almost identical every day and the quality of the food was average at best. Some days the scrambled eggs were good, other days not so much—perhaps due to different chefs. The churros we tried on the first day weren’t great, so we didn’t bother again. While cava was available daily, it was clearly a cheaper brand. Overall, the service was just average, not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The experience simply didn’t live up to the standards or expectations of a luxury hotel, which was quite disappointing.

Fantastic stay at Vincci Seleccion for our Honeymoon. Everything was five star from the moment we arrived to check out time, our room was great, hot tub is brilliant, really comfortable bed, had a leak from our Air Conditioning on our third day that was promptly repaired by the staff. We really enjoyed the Italian restaurant on numerous occasions, really tasty food, would recommend it over the buffet. Some entertainment at the evening bar for longer hours would be a nice touch as often sitting quietly enjoying cocktails, live music past dinner time would be great. Davide at the evening bar is a credit to the hotel & makes really good cocktails! Enjoyed the pool bar for lunch, nice cocktails & great menu to enjoy. We visited the spa on one occasion and paid for the full circuit, which was really enjoyable, private pool, followed by the plunge pool and the outdoor spa pool which is lovely and quiet, staff were excellent. Really enjoyed our two weeks and didn't want to leave! Will hopefully be back in the future!

Cannot fault this hotel. The location is great, the hotel itself is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly want from a 5 star establishment. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they are all happy, accommodating and really cannot do enough for you. We stayed in a Villa which was amazing. The food was delicious with a vast selection for breakfast and a different buffet theme each night. Definitely recommend!

A Beautiful Setting, But Service Falls Short of 5-Star Standards. We recently stayed at this hotel for a week and were truly impressed by the beautiful grounds and stunning views—it’s a picturesque location with great potential. However, in terms of service and overall experience, I don’t believe this property currently meets the standards of a true 5-star hotel. Firstly, while the setting was lovely, there was a clear lack of attentiveness in areas that matter—especially for guests with dietary preferences. As vegetarians, we found it difficult to have our needs met. Basic requests often felt like an inconvenience, and the food options left much to be desired. For instance, we were charged €16 for a vegetarian “club sandwich” which essentially was the regular sandwich with the meat removed—resulting in a greasy fried sandwich with just lettuce and cheese. Not only was it underwhelming, but when staff noticed the food was barely touched and even asked about it, there was no effort made to offer an alternative or adjust the bill. It’s not about the cost, but the principle: a dish lacking half its ingredients should not be charged at full price, especially without any added value. Additionally, we were surprised to find that bottled water was not replenished daily and came at an extra charge, despite already spending €1,300 for a week’s stay. For a hotel positioned as luxury, these small things can make a big difference to the guest experience. The housekeeping was also below par for a hotel of this standard. The room was often left dusty, and basic amenities like shower caps and toiletries weren’t replaced daily. While these might seem like minor details, they matter when a hotel is claiming 5-star status. Breakfast was also disappointing. While there was variety, the selection remained the same every day. The quality didn’t match expectations either—the omelettes were bland, and the churros, which I usually look forward to, were cold and chewy rather than hot and crispy. Finally, service on departure was similarly lacklustre. There was no initiative from the staff to assist with luggage until we specifically requested it at reception, which again, doesn’t align with what you’d expect from a hotel in this category. In short, while the hotel shines in terms of aesthetics, the service and attention to guest experience need significant improvement. Having stayed at top-tier properties around the world, including the One&Only hotels, the difference in service is notable. With more attention to detail and a stronger hospitality mindset, this hotel has the potential to reach a true 5-star standard—but it’s not there yet.

Lovely hotel, great quiet location, very spacious rooms with beautiful sea views. We loved the breakfast, plenty to choose from even for the fussy eaters. There are 4 different swimming pools and one of them is heated. We loved the Italian restaurant for dinner! Recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Vincci La Plantation in Adeje. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, modern rooms that were spotless and very comfortable. The grounds are stunning, with five pools and plenty of sunbeds – no stress or fighting over loungers, which made relaxing by the pool so much easier. The service throughout was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff always ready to help. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a huge variety of fresh options every morning. We also tried the Italian à la carte one evening and it was superb – the tiramisu in particular was one of the best I’ve ever had. Drinks are on the pricier side, but that’s to be expected in a five-star hotel. A really thoughtful touch was the changing room you can book on your departure day – perfect if you have to check out early but don’t fly until late, so you can enjoy the pool right up until you leave. The free shuttle bus to the beach several times a day was also very handy. Overall, this is a true five-star experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vincci La Plantation. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque Resort is a refined oceanfront retreat that offers a plethora of amenities for an unforgettable stay. The hotel boasts 8 restaurants, 13 bars, and outdoor pools. Its architectural design is captivating with intersecting lagoons that set it apart from modern establishments in Tenerife. This sprawling resort exudes old-school charm and tradition, providing impeccable service, beachside location, and award-winning dining options.
If I could rate this place 100 stars, I would. It was our first vacation with a baby, and this place made it feel exactly like a vacation. Where do I begin? It’s clean and well maintained. Staff - the most helpful friendliest people I have met. Place- beautiful. Food - delicious. They provided everything I needed for the baby- bathtub, sterilizer, cot, food. They also gave us gifts in the end!! Amazing! 100% would recommend!

Bahía del Duque is truly an incredible 5-star hotel with exceptional service from start to finish. Small touches made a big difference — every morning we were warmly greeted and personally walked to our table at breakfast, which set the tone for the day. The location couldn’t be better, right on the beach with expansive grounds that are beautifully maintained. The variety of dining options is impressive, from multiple high-end restaurants to a Michelin-starred experience, all of which lived up to expectations. Our room was serviced daily to a very high standard, and the nightly turndown service with chocolates, slippers, and thoughtful touches made coming back from the evening shows feel extra special. There’s no shortage of activities on offer, and the gym is well-equipped with the latest Technogym equipment. The breakfast buffet was outstanding — fresh, varied, and of consistently high quality. Overall, Bahía del Duque delivers everything you’d expect from a world-class resort and more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and exceptional hospitality in Tenerife.

Staff / service: Absolutely top-tier. Friendly, attentive, and quick to help in every instance. Scenery, Architecture, Pools, Bars, Cocktails: The setting is stunning. Beautifully designed spaces with plenty of character. The pools and cocktail bar in reception in particular was fantastic. Restaurants: Mixed experience. There are Michelin-starred options which I didn’t try, but the main restaurants were underwhelming. There’s a dress code requiring trousers in most places, which is fair enough, but being turned away to change only to return and see others in shorts made the rule feel inconsistent. This discouraged our group from trying more on-site restaurants. The food quality was decent but nothing memorable, and most meals were overpriced. That seemed to be the trend throughout the complex. Breakfast: Solid, with a few caveats. Probably the best buffet-style breakfast I’ve had in terms of quality. It can get repetitive though. I wish the bacon and sausages were better – they were more like frankfurters, and the bacon was chewy. This might be more about the local produce than the hotel itself. Spa: Staff and service were excellent. Massages and general hospitality were top class, and pricing was what you’d expect. Unfortunately, many spa facilities were under renovation, and what was available on the second floor felt lacking. The steam room door didn’t close fully, so it wasn’t hot enough. Sunbeds were marked or dirty, and there was only one bathroom which had no working light. Some taps didn’t work properly either. Room (Sea View): Lovely with a few issues. The view was beautiful, but the minibar was extremely overpriced. I’d prefer an empty fridge to store my own drinks or leftovers. We had a persistent high-pitched noise from the tap, which was never fixed despite reporting it multiple times. Staff acknowledged the issue but no solution was offered. The Wi-Fi had issues early on but was resolved quickly. Other minor inconveniences included a loose handle and inconsistent housekeeping for turndown service. Gym: Disappointing. If you’re a regular gym-goer, this will likely fall short. The gym is far too small for a resort of this scale. There’s not enough weight equipment, no barbells, limited weight racks, and very few accessories like cable handles. Machines are okay, but the max weights are too low, and more variety is needed This hotel gets a lot right. The service is outstanding and the setting is beautiful. But areas like the gym, the inconsistent restaurant experience, and some outdated or under-maintained facilities bring the overall experience down a notch. There’s great potential here, and it could easily be a five-star experience with a few key improvements.

The hotel was marketed as a luxury property, but there was nothing luxurious about our experience. It felt more like a moderately nice Disney resort—crowded, noisy, and overrun with kids. There is no adults-only pool, which is astonishing for a resort of this size. The so-called “adults-only” area is directly adjacent to the main pool, so you’re still surrounded by noise and splashing. Our room had a persistent damp, musty odor, and the turn-down service was inconsistent at best. Only once did we receive proper service; on other nights, staff simply came in, closed the blinds, and left—leaving behind trash, used towels, and an unturned bed. This is not my definition of luxury. Dining was another frustration. While the food itself was decent, getting a reservation was a challenge due to the limited number of restaurants and tables compared to the size of the resort. Staff appeared constantly rushed and disorganized. One night, we were told we could dine as long as we left by 9:30 p.m.—we arrived at 8:00 and ordered immediately, yet service was so slow we didn’t leave until after 10:00. It even took 30 minutes to receive our bill, which was incorrect. We were repeatedly skipped for bread service despite trying to get the staff’s attention. Having just stayed at the Four Seasons in Marrakech—a true luxury property—the difference was night and day. This experience felt more like going from a high-end hotel to a budget motel. We left feeling disappointed and misled, our expectations falling far short of reality.

Definitely not 5-star. Rooms are poorly designed and noisy - AC is extremely loud, walls are paper-thin (you hear snoring, alarms, conversations), and shower temperature is inconsistent. Facilities are outdated (old TV with no channels or smart features, no USB sockets, no kettle), and basics are missing (no drying rack in a beach resort, no do-not-disturb sign, only one towel hook, fridge unusable due to minibar overload). Interior feels messy with wires sticking out and tilted frames. Worst of all, I stepped on glass shards left by previous guests five days into our stay. When I told reception, there was no apology or care. Housekeeping was inconsistent - fresh flower replaced once then left with stagnant water for two weeks, bathroom drying line filthy. Hotel grounds are neglected: loungers dirty and uncomfortable, mats soiled, trash left under sunbeds for days, smoking area tables stacked with dirty cups. Gym requires a keycard to enter but has no proper AC. Calling a buggy takes 15+ minutes, even with staff standing around. Restaurants are below standard: food is oily and inconsistent, pastries unlabeled, stale bread charged at lunch, rotten oranges left in the juice machine, dirty dishes at breakfast, coffee takes forever. Quality is nowhere near 5-star and service is inattentive. Staff were the biggest disappointment. Reception was rude when I asked if they could collect a delivery, replying “we have enough restaurants here.” Taxis through the hotel cost 100+ vs 60 with Uber. Complaints about glass shards ignored, birthday not acknowledged, drinks spilled by pool never cleaned, and our bed left stuck high after housekeeping with no help despite multiple calls. Checkout was cold and dismissive - no “how was your stay,” just an invoice. Overall, this hotel pretends to be luxury but fails on every level. Feels like a neglected 3-star at best.

I visited this hotel today with my family to explore the property for a potential future booking during my trips to Tenerife. As I am now staying in similar level hotel, but I like to change my hotel in every visit to experience more accommodations.Since I regularly spend my summers in Spain, visiting luxury destinations such as Barcelona, Marbella, Málaga, Mallorca, and Madrid, and I always make it a point to visit five-star hotels before choosing where to stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the security team, valet service, and parking staff, and the hotel lobby looked beautifully designed. However, when we approached the reception to request a short tour, we were surprised by the receptionist’s reaction. She questioned how we entered the hotel and informed us that security would escort us out since we weren’t staying there. This was unexpected and disappointing, especially given the standard of service one would normally expect from a five-star property. The receptionist explained that this was hotel policy and management instructions, but unfortunately, the manner in which it was handled made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I work as an executive in one of the world’s top 100 banks, and part of my role involves financing projects of this nature. I would recommend that the management revisit these procedures and ensure that guest interactions reflect the high standards associated with luxury hospitality. While the hotel facilities seem impressive, this experience has left me hesitant about considering Bahía del Duque Resort for future stays unless there is a change in approach to guest relations.

Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque Resort is a very nice hotel. The room we had was very nice, the bed was comfortable. In the room there was a coffee station with a nespresso machine, a safe, a minibar etc. I informed the receptionist that the day after we checked in was my partner birthday so we got a very nice surprise in the room . The breakfast was super, with a great selection of food and drinks. They have few swimming pools and restaurant to choose from. Most of the staff was friendly and polite. This is a great resort, however, if there was a better attention to the detail it would be even greater. The box with coffee and sugar was messy, not tidy up or cleaned from the previous guest. The day when we checked out we were very annoyed by the housekeeping: they come in the room while we were having breakfast (nothing wrong with that) they started to clear up the room, after the breakfast we went at the pool area and when we came back we noticed that they went in the room again... while in the room they try to come in again. it was not yet time to check out but the housekeeping tried hard to make us to go away, it was our check out day so they should just left us in peace since we did not overstay. Could not recommend this hotel enough and if I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would! One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed and truly one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. Rooms and amenities were 10/10, cleanliness and service was top tier. They’ve really of everything and perfected it. What really made our stay so incredible was the care and effort put in by the staff. I have never felt better treated, they really went above and beyond to make us feel special. Very grateful to everyone we met during our stay, the service really made a lasting impression, everyone was so friendly, kind and fun! The buffet food was also amazing, the chefs were excellent and everybody at this hotel is outstanding. We will definitely stay here again but the staff and management truly deserve the utmost credit they are the best in the business! If you are looking to stay in this area, this place is a real gem and absolutely beautiful. Thank you to everyone that made this trip so incredible😇😊✨

A great first impression and one of the warmest welcomes I have experienced. I emailed ahead advising that my flight would get in during the morning and if there was a chance our room could be ready and they delivered! I was fully expecting to just store luggage and wait until 3pm to check in so it was great to be able to get settled immediately. The premium ocean rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed the fact we had the option of a bath or a shower (both separate) and that the toilet was separated. We had a balcony and a garden terrace which was across the hall and we didn’t use to be honest. - we used the pool instead. The balconies are non-smoking FYI. We ate breakfast around half 8/9am and found it fairly quiet. Lots of variety and discovered something new every morning. Our home flight was mid morning and when we came down for breakfast at 7am we were the only ones in there. The salt water swimming pool is lovely and where I spent most of my time. Sun beds being reserved wasn’t an issue and there are between the different pools. The pool side service was hit or miss and it wasn’t clear what everyone was doing. This meant we drank our own things by the pool most of the time which we bought at the supermarket and only ordered food from the pool bar. On our last day we were advised that you aren’t actually allowed to drink your own drinks by the pool which came as a surprise as there were no signs and multiple employees saw me throughout the week and didn’t say anything. Suggestion would be to add it to your pool rules which are displayed by the bar - would’ve saved us an awkward conversation. The location of the hotel is lovely. When you leave the hotel from the front if you go left or right you will find lovely restaurants although a limited amount of bars so suited our quiet holiday needs. Hotel charges €8 for a Heineken or Amstel whereas local restaurants charge €4 for a Dorada so worth popping out and enjoying an ocean view and cheaper drinks. My other half also appreciated the gym facilities and he enjoyed his massage. We enjoyed the 15% off voucher which came through our door a few days into the holiday. Overall it was my first experience staying at this hotel chain and I would stay again as someone who doesn’t mind a quiet and relaxed holiday.

Such a lovely hotel in a perfect location. Very welcoming and friendly staff throughout the hotel, making the vibe incredibly relaxed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast buffet extensive. Really enjoyed the restaurants and bars, and the hotel is adjacent to the beach and a stroll away from plenty of dining options. Lovely pool areas including an adult only section. Really enjoyed my stay!

My family and I have just returned from ten days at this hotel and can say it was absolutely amazing. The staff's attention to detail, the cleanliness of the hotel rooms, the pools and surrounding sunbed areas were all fantastic. In addition the Hotel managed to facilitate additional rooms at last minute when our flight was cancelled, for this we are eternally grateful. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone whole wishes a five star guest experience.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the location is perfect! The staff were super welcoming and friendly everywhere, which made the whole vibe incredibly relaxed. The rooms are big and comfy, and the breakfast buffet had everything you could want - top notch! Thank you for everything!

Fantastic hotel, great staff and wonderful food. The design of the hotel is great. The view from the balcony (ocean view) is great with privacy and minimal view of other rooms. I can't wait to come again. Thank you for a wonderful week.
Eva G — Google review
Our stay was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, clean and luxurious and we ended up not even going to the beach because the pool areas were so comfortable (with great cocktails!). The staff is very warm and helpful, whether it was the Consierge, reception or staff at the pool and they remembered it was my birthday and left a cute little surprise in my room. Breakfast has a lot of healthy options and is quite varied. Everyone in my group had an amazing time here and we hope to be back soon :)

Spa La Quinta is a serene retreat nestled in the picturesque Santa Ursula municipality of northern Tenerife. The spa offers a variety of soothing experiences, including different showers and temperatures, a spacious pool with jet sprays, two jacuzzis, and heated tiled beds. Visitors can indulge in rejuvenating massages from skilled therapists like Mario and Jorge. The facility provides a tranquil atmosphere with friendly staff and clean, well-maintained amenities.
I’ve just benefited greatly from a full body massage. It was by far the best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a few in my time. Very polite service too, would highly recommend this service.

Lovely, as explained, some reviews defo outdated as there is everything you need toilet\changing rooms, showers etc. the pool was so lovely heated and jets. Shame I didn't see the thermal beds downstairs till the end so I only got a few mins, don't miss these! I recommend great value for money.
Phoebe G — Google review
A very chilled and enjoyable spa experience. Different showers and temperatures. A spacious pool with jet sprays. Two jacuzzis warm and cold. Two heated tiled beds to creak out the stiffness in the back 🤗reasonable price and friendly staff. Clean and tranquil.

We visited Templarium, changing room was very small. 2 Finnish saunas were ok but sometimes you could find wooden chip where you were sitting…one Turkish bath was not working , other one was fine but lacquer was peeling off from the seating area…There was a machine for hot/cold water + teabags for free. Showers were lacking soap and floor was very slippery. Overall place needs some serious renovations.
Ondra — Google review
Nice spa. They work with time slots to manage the amount of customers. But we were the only ones there so we could only use the sauna for 40 minutes.
Wouter P — Google review
Well equipped and not crowded place. Good for relax.
Pete S — Google review
Nice place. Very polite service. They could add hair dryers in the change room next to the pool.

I went to the hotel in Feb for a weekend break. The room was full of humidity and aunts. The customer service has been horrible, none available when needed with a displeasing attitude. The dinner expensive (21 euro each) for something worthing 3 euros. We did not eat nothing, the bread was hard (at least baked the day before), the meat was gummy, we asked the coke and they brought something in a glass that it was not (priced as a coke). When we complained with the manager, she acted like we were lying instead of supporting us (basic rules of customer service). The worst experience in an hotel.

We were staying at another hotel but were told they partner with this hotel for the spa. It was an amazing experience. Sauna, steam room, a huge jacuzzi indoor and another smaller one outside. Another handful of more pools for swimming and relaxing. Peaceful and a great experience. We had also booked the deep tissue massages. It was two guys. The one with the glasses did an incredible job. Very friendly and very professional. If he lived in London he'd be my new therapist for sure!

Fabulous spa... lots of thermal pools to choose from, all at different temperatures, and good sauna, steam rooms. Very clean, and a relaxing place to spend a couple of hours.

Went to do the spa circuit twice while I was staying nearby. Went with child and husband during the family hours-- we all enjoyed it so much that we went the second time. Very relaxing and peaceful. Also went for a massage, which was excellent.

Today was my second visit. As a resident of Tenerife it is always nice to find a piece of luxury at an inexpensive price. The ambience, facilities, reception and attending staff are professional and friendly giving the whole experience a true relaxing one. One of our party had a 50 minute relaxing massage after the 2 hour Thermal Spa. Her words 'the best ever!'. I would highly recommend this Spa to anyone. I am not an expert on Spa's but I doubt even the hardened Spa goers would be able to criticise this one.
Sally-Anne B — Google review
Location in our hotel Gran Tacande is quite hidden, so it took us a while to find it. The water circuit was really great, the couples massage Route through the Atlantic was intense, but good, and the Hindu head massage was sadly 85% back and arms and only 15% actual head and neck massage. I really looked forward to an intensive 50min head and neck massage, so that experience left me quite unsatisfied. All in all the place was very clean with very friendly staff :)

Just went here for the day during our holiday, I booked very easily via email for myself and boyfriend. The spa is attached to a hotel but anyone can book, you don't have to be staying at the hotel. Staff were brilliant and very professional. Very clean throughout and relaxing. The massages were great. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! Booked a 90 min massage and it was one of the best massages I've had in a long time. The staff were really friendly as well as punctual. If I'm back in Tenerife, I'd definitely get a massage here again.

My husband and I went for a massage today, we weren’t booked in and they were very accommodating. It is a very relaxing welcoming environment. It was my first time getting a head, neck and shoulder massage and I’m converted! They knew exactly where in my body I was having issues and spent lots of time working this area. My husband got a Thai combination massage and he said it was very relaxing and helped all his sore muscles from work. Highly recommend, we will be returning customers 😊

Paola is our favorite, she is very strong and knew the body very well. We both had lots of aches and pains relieved by her. If we could take her home in our suitcases we would. My husband said that this was the best massage he has ever had, similar to the ones we had in Thailand. The oils also smelt lovely and the tiger balm.

I visited this Thai massage parlour on Tuesday with my cousin and we both had a traditional Thai massage. My masseuse was amazing, her technique and pressure was perfect. The ladies are very professional and friendly, and the parlour itself was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend and will return when I visit Tenerife again.

I’ve been living in Tenerife for a few years now and have tried almost every spa in the south of the island, as well as several in the north. This high-end spa is one of the best on the island—and definitely my favorite. It’s modern and spotless, with a variety of saunas, both hot and cold pools, and a beautiful, lush outdoor area featuring a hot pool and Jacuzzi in the backyard. The atmosphere is always quiet and peaceful, which I really appreciate. Thank you to the entire spa team for your warm hospitality!

Money trap - Prices on website advertised is different from the price They show you once you inside. My wife is Spanish rang them prior to booking it and even asked the price according to the website and they confirmed over the phone that’s correct however went in and found out is in fact money trap and to miss lead clients, She was like no that’s online price,…Were on the website says nothing about promoting or its online price, even though asked over the phone. After 20 minutes looking for the place as and calling twice to check why we can’t locate them we arrived 10:02 rang the bell 🛎 took them 5 minutes until a girl came and open the door, as soon as we entered she said since now you are 7 minutes late!!! Which we called twice as were looking for the place walking up & down for 20 minutes,…They had no courtesy and she said “We wont be able to give you the 55 minutes you wanted” Total shamble, Not recommended at all and avoid at all costs. Poor service, poor communication. Remember my wife whole time was speaking in Spanish rang the 4 times prior to visiting them!!! The fact where google shows and GPS suggests are different places and they done nothing about it that tells you alot. So disappointing and unprofessional.

Karl J — Google review
Aequor Spa in Jardines de Nivaria Hotel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands - Spain was amazing! The spa's designer wanted patrons to feel as if they were entering a cave structure to adjust the mood with stone walls and natural light entering through sky lights. The spa has an area that allows you to participate in a "circuit" which includes heated pool, massage jets below and above water, sauna, steam room, ice machine to cool off and close your pores, and for change in body temperature body treatments. Water is not just heated in pools they are salt water pools. Very good for your health. Also, you have different configuration of pulsating shower rooms and bucket drawn water shower. After you are done with your water circuit, you move to a heated recliner section where you are served tea and water. You have a locker room where you can store your personal items and use the restroom, change and shower. After you meditate in heated stone recliners you are called in to the massage rooms. You have a choice of massages to choose from. I recommend the scalp and body massage for men. Also, there is a myriad of treatments for women. The staff was excellent, very professional and attentive. Make sure you treat them nice and tip well. They won't ask, but it's just good form and good manners. Don't be a cheapskate beat skate! After the massage you are treated to a sun terrace with a full selection of island fruits and juices and sweets. Ambiance is relaxing, beach off to the distance as you lounge in an area with native island plants. One of our favorite places to visit after excursions and fun on the island. Do not miss out on this experience, you will miss it when you return home.
Enrique B — Google review
Absolutely relaxing experience in the circuit spa! Used all of the thermal pool, Turkish bath and sauna. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Staffs were very attentive. It was one of the favourite parts of our trip.
Sofia L — Google review
Great circuit spa with lots of options. Clean and the staff very friendly. Massage services offered but didn't book. Our hotel spa was "under renovation" so this was a good alternative. Lots of people mention about the towels. Don't panic. You are given a towel under a deposit that you get back. Then you have the opportunity to bring another towel for your OWN convenience so that you can use one in the dry spa and still have one to dry off with later. Simple. Overall a great, relaxing day.
Michael S — Google review
This place is just PERFECT. First of all, very very nice staff, and especially the lady at reception for our part. We were looking to book an access to the spa + a massage for 2 for the afternoon. She found time to give us access. Unfortunately we had trouble finding it and arrived 15min late, so she let us spend extra time at the spa. We had the whole place for us, it was very relaxing and they have so many differents baths/sauna/showers that you can only love it!! Then the 25min massage was very very appreciated after a week walking miles and miles through the island. Thank you again!! We recommend it 100%

Fantastic lomi lomi massage with Luz Marina! The place is really nice, excellent service and installations, not crowded, you get slippers, bath roan and towel, no need to take anything. Sauna, steam bath, many pools with bubbles and without, at different temperatures. Resting room could be better isolated soundwise.

Enjoyed the spa facilities with my husband and I opted for a lovely Lomi lomi NUI massage for 70 minutes. Excellent treatment, just how I imagined it to be, every ache and sore muscle worked on, deep relaxing movements and used the pressure points on the head and neck. Thank you Raquel* ☺️ it was perfect and just what I needed.

We absolutely loved our visit to this spa. We were worried that the staff might not be so friendly because we don't speak any Spanish and don't really look like the type of people who go to fancy spas, but they were so helpful and friendly! They answered all our questions and got us set up with a locker key, towel and robe, as well as a cup for the complimentary drinks. The spa itself was really lovely and peaceful, with lots of hot and cold therapy. The warm pool had lots of jets and showers for sore muscles. It wasn't too expensive either. We'd definitely go back here if we were in Santa Cruz again.

Such a nice spa. Very cozy and beautiful envirnoment. The location is 10/10 . We had an amazing time spending our day there. The message was one of the best that I have ever had. Also we got our nails and hair done and the masters are professional !

We booked the program where we could use the whirlpool for ourselves. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The massage was great and pleasant. After the whirlpool (with outdoor area) and the massage, we were able to use the rest of the spa. Unfortunately, there were a few problems there. For example, tiles were missing in the pool, which is why there were sharp spots there. Not everything worked perfectly with the showers either. As a farewell, we were given a whole bottle of champagne, which we then enjoyed at home.

My friend along with myself had just headed to the spa for a soothing experience while on a getaway. The receptionist was extremely pleasant and welcoming and she described the spa facilities. The changing rooms were adequate, although the locker I had did not lock thoroughly since I couldn't flip the key around. a We spent an enjoyable afternoon at the pool while a few minutes in the sauna. Ultimately, I had a nice experience alongside my friend, as well as strongly suggest this spa any individual who is a solo traveller, group of friends plus relatives.

Paid 95 euros for massage and use of spa but only received meagre massage back neck and shoulders anything else was extra... facilities in spa were all broken and pool freezing so couldn't use anything that was paid for. We got the special diamond deluxe package for €155. It was an amazing 1 hour massage, where they asked both of us how hard pressure we wish for. I went for the medium one, my boyfriend got the deep massage. Both of us were happy with the experience. It was followed by an hour of alone time in a private jacuzzi. Then we could use the Spa thermal circuit as long as we wanted. Worth the money! If you are here you should definitely try it out.

Had a family spa experience booked for Sunday. The staff could only take two of us at the time, but were so accommodating and booked me in an hour later for my massage. Lovely therapy, followed by a spa area with jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and cold plunge pool. They allowed my partner and daughter to stay in the spa room longer so we could spend the time together drinking cava and having some chocolates. I left a tip as the service was above and beyond. Would highly recommend 👍🙂

Marga and Karen on reception were lovely to deal with - they even let us change our reservation to a different day with only a couple hours notice because of the windy weather! We booked the special diamond deluxe couple's massage and thermal circuit which we couldn't recommend more. The value for money is amazing and we had the whole place to ourselves for almost 3 hours! We felt like new people. We even went out to the bar for a few cocktails after to top it all off and they were amazing! Best pina colada I've had in Tenerife.

(Translated by Google) €120 IN THE TRASH. BE CAREFUL WITH BUYING VOUCHER FOR THIS SPA. I purchased a voucher at BonosVip (€120), first of all I had a problem making a reservation. When I went to try again since for work reasons I had not been able to make an appointment with them, they informed me that my voucher had expired and that I had lost the money. I have to say that all the vouchers that I have bought at BonosVip usually have a validity of at least 3 or 4 months, since the one from Bio-Spa was a month and a half. When I complained, Mercedes (I must say that she did her part to try to help me) informed me that they had had many complaints with the validity of that bonus and that it had happened to more people. Her boss, to avoid complaints, had allowed her to redeem expired bonuses until December 1. They did not allow me since said communication was on December 2. Basically they didn't take my reservation, even though they admitted that the validity date was much shorter than normal BY ONE DAY. I asked him to talk to his superior, that I did not demand any specific date, simply that they let me enjoy what I had paid for, even adapting to some empty space in the Spa's agenda. HIS SUPERIOR refused at all times and basically told me that it was not his problem. Zero empathy on the part of those responsible for the Spa. They didn't offer me any alternative, NONE. So I do not recommend anyone purchasing this Bonds. In my case it was a birthday gift for my partner and it became €120 thrown in the trash. I paid for something we never got to enjoy. (Original) 120€ A LA BASURA. No me ofrecieron ninguna alternativa, NINGUNA. Así que no recomiendo a nadie la compra de esto Bonos. En mi caso fue un regalo de cumpleaños para mi pareja y se convirtió en 120€ tirados a la basura. Pagué por algo que nunca llegamos a disfrutar.

(Translated by Google) The receptionists are super friendly, the second star is thanks to her since the spa is not worth it. Turkish bath that barely has any heat, the showers that don't work when you enter, you press the buttons and they don't work either and when you go to the jacuzzi they work by themselves. I do not recommend it, it only works with a jacuzzi that is not too hot, a cold pool, a sauna and a bucket shower.

(Translated by Google) During our stay at the hotel we took advantage of this spa which is amazing. The reception with a big smile, the ownership of the place, the choice in the rooms available such as the Japanese sauna, the Turkish bath or the oriental laconium etc.. As for the team of masseurs, it is of a very high level. I recommend+++ (Original) Pendant notre séjour à l'hôtel, nous avons profité de ce spa qui est incroyable. Quant à l'équipe de masseurs, elle est de très haut niveau. Je recommande+++

Honestly the amenities are great but the services no. As our time staying in the hotel we enjoy the pools and different spa amenities daily, and a little treat we had one of the rituals (the canario one) and its here where our disappointment lies. As a couple se had the ritual together and it was a bit uncomfortable, one of the massagist didnt speak spanish nor English very well and it seems like there was some type of clash between both massagists as they had some light argument in front of us. The service was ok, but not whatsoever what you would expect for their prices. I Don’t recommend the massages Based on This experience to be honest.

(Translated by Google) Very good massage. Atmosphere rather impersonal. Ayvedic and Lomi Lomi were quite similar in execution... ;-( (Original) Sehr gute Massage. Atmosphäre eher unpersönlich. Ayvedische und Lomi Lomi waren in der Ausführung ziemlich ähnlich ... ;-(

(Translated by Google) A high quality spa, very clean, the circuit is excellent, the welcome from each person is very pleasant, not at all impersonal, the owner of the Spa, a French woman, is adorable and I tried the 25-minute aromatic massage and honestly my back and shoulder pain had disappeared afterwards.
