The cake and coffee were both top-notch, but I can't say the same for the Hummus with wheat tortillas, which was a real let down. The hummus was definitely not freshly made, and I'd expect that (high expectations I suppose!) The tortilla was probably heated on a pan with some oil to make them hard/hot not sure and then cut into triangles. Not the best dish. Back to the nice bits - this cafe is so discrete it's easy to miss. It has a really welcoming feel and staff are friendly. I'd probably go again for cake and coffee.

Our expectations were set very high considering the rating, but we left disappointed. We arrived after 1pm so couldn’t order the tasty-looking sandwiches. DOWNS - uncomfortable chairs, cold when raining (maybe cushions would help it) - too much time between the arrival to the order and then between the order and the food serving (the drinks came in relatively okay time) - desserts look super nice and people are queuing up for them, but for us it was a disappointment. We had NUBE and expected something creamy inside, but it was a dry cube which was very difficult to cut. - probably we do not understand the concept of payés (filled bread) but it was a lot of crunchy bread with cheese; it did not taste fresh, it was oily and personally would not order it again - lastly, the personnel could have a bit more joy serving people and once they realize they screwed up an order and a customer needs to wait another 30min for their food, they should compensate with little something UPS + the places itself has a lot of plants and a nice vibe + very tasty chai latte

Extremely nice to sit and hang out in great atmosphere. Breakfast was good but coffee could be better. There much are better places in town for great coffee. But I would return and recommend this place.

The food wasn’t good unfortunately :( both the sandwich and breakfast option we didn’t like. The lemon meringue tart was very good tho and overall vibes were really nice, also staff was very friendly

A really nice café — the interior is beautifully designed, and there’s also a cozy outdoor patio with plants and comfy sofas. The best part is the desserts and drinks are top quality. And if you order cocoa, instead of the usual watered-down drink, they’ll literally bring you a cup of hot chocolate with cream!

Really nice place, but coffee and croissants could be better.

There are 3 kinds of full English breakfast in Tenerife those that are cheap (in every sense of the word cheap!), hotel breakfasts (mass produced, poor quality, varied temperatures) or breakfast at Lily's EnglishTea Terrace. I have free breakfast at the hotel but prefer to go to Lily's and pay £10.45 for the double full English breakfast (see photo). Great quality produce (mostly imported from the UK), cooked perfectly in an open kitchen by Dan and served by Sian (the owners) in a great restaurant / location. Lily's also sells fantastic home cooked cakes and scones (why not treat your self to their afternoon tea package?) Drinks wise they serve Alhambra Especial in a frozen glass for £2.95 which I can personally highly recommend. PS The toilets are also very clean!!

Came to this restaurant after looking at a few recent reviews and definitely would recommend , I had the double English breakfast and my other half had the normal breakfast and we will definitely be coming back

Dying for a proper breakfast after being on the island for 4 days, thought I could make the duration without but couldn't. Saw Lily's on here and wanted to visit so we did. Full English slap up, no problem. Only thing were the beans and tomatoes were cold but nothing that would make me drop any lower than 5 stars. Nice people and great food!!

We pre ordered an afternoon tea for today which was fabulous. Sandwiches, brownies, cupcakes and the most delicious scones with jam and cream. Wonderful! The service was great and friendly making a really lovely relaxed atmosphere. It was a real treat 😍

I first knew of this lovely little place when a YouTube called Macmaster visited a few times and showed it on his channel Since then I’ve been myself a few times and absolutely love it The thing that is immediately obvious is how happy and friendly the team are here. They go above and beyond to make you feel instantly at home and welcome The food is just brilliant - quality from start to finish I really love to have a drink on the terrace and just people watch - very relaxing Also they do excursions now so you can sit in the sun, with a beer or coffee (or my favourite here the blueberry smoothie) and browse the excursions I booked a sunset boat trip whilst relaxing Lilys is famous for its home baked food and cakes to definitely try these Ps we were all the way in Las Americas in a hotel but skip breakfast and either walk to Fanabe to Lilys or grab a quick taxi there - that’s how great Lilys really is Highly recommended and a place to head for

Amazing wee place to have a tea/coffee. They have a selection of different brands of British teas. I got a scone which was really really nice and the staff are extremely helpful

If you would like to have a tasty dessert during your holiday, this is definitely a place to go when in Puerto de Santiago! Desserts are very nice but also very delicious. It is possible to eat on site or to do take away. The choice is very large. Service was also very friendly and helpful

Love the friendly staff. We had to pastries. The best was the dulche de leche pastry. The carrot cake (because is was cut and presented this way) was a bit dry to the sides. A bit dissapointed. But overall nice shop with beautiful cakes

Such a lovely place. Here you can meet the sweetest grand couple in town with outstanding food and beverages for a good price. Espresso and Americano are both delicious, as well as the famous barraquito. Cu next time at Macaronesia 🥰

If you're looking for a delightful spot in Los Gigantes, look no further than the Macaronesia Coffee Shop Bakery. We found ourselves returning every day for their relaxing drinks and delectable cakes. Our son Leon couldn't get enough of the milkshakes, making it a perfect family stop on our way back to the hotel. The prices are incredibly reasonable—what you get here for such a low price is truly remarkable, especially compared to other cafes in the area. The atmosphere is tranquil, offering double the peace for half the price. The owners are exceptionally friendly and clearly take great pride in their coffee shop. It's a hidden gem we wholeheartedly recommend!

Absolutely a must to visit. The crossaints were amazing and the desserts very yummy. We made the effort to visit most mornings to collect coffees, crossaints and sweet treats for breakfast. Enjoyed everything we tried.

In spite of the number of years we've been coming to Los Gigantes, today was the first time we've made the effort to visit. It certainly won't be the last. We sampled a takeaway of apple pie and banana/fruit/nut cake to share between the 2 of us. Lovely, bright, open plan counters and dining areas for eating or drinking, a large range of snacks (quiches etc), cakes and beverages. Fantastic and friendly staff. Well worth 5 stars.. and a visit.

I came here once before and was disappointed.. God only knows why today I was carving for “la galette des rois” a typical french cake that is only made in early January and since I did not find it anywhere else I forced myself to enter this place. The galette looked nice enough so after hesitating I finally paid the 35€ they charged me….🥶 Home I cut a piece and one for my mum and I can’t even describe the taste… dry and just tasteless. A total miss! Nothing like the ones made in France. But what was our surprise when we found … a piece of PLASTIC in each of our part!!! This place has seen me for the last time. and I strongly advise you to look somewhere else for cakes…

This place is a TOURIST TRAP, beware! I sat down to a table and ordered 2 small cupcakes. No prices in sight. They charged me for 20 EUROS! Also the quality of the cupcakes were horrible, as they were extremely dry and no taste at all. They do look delicious, the pastries look like they are creamy, but they don't use cream but sugary egg white. Actually the whole pastry is made of from egg white as you can see from the photo. An absolute scam. You have been warned!

I love this place. Every time I’m in Los Cristianos I come there to buy almond croissant 😍 Tastes amazing. Unfortunately, they don’t have a lot of seats but I always have a chance to get a table. I would recommend this place for a coffee and all that bakery!

Loved the milkshakes, smoothies and pastries. The depths of flavours,the texture of the mixture.... everything was absolutely delightful and the atmosphere was homely and cozy. Truly recommended for anyone looking for a nice snack before or after a day at the beach.

We are in love with this place. Visited today. Had one of the best crossains in Tenerife. All quality and fresh served by lovely lady. They weren't the cheapest, but I rather pay more to eat those delicious food than a few blocks down some cheap nothing. Alnond crossaint- heaven! Definitely recommend and 100% will be back. Forget big high street chains, this bijou bakery is perfect for your morning or afternoon coffee. Freshly made cakes and perfectly served coffee will make you ask for more.

Really great place! We stopped there to have an ice cream and it didn't disappoint. The waffle were great and the ice-cream was 100% worth it. The service was really friendly as well The waitress's favorite was lemon, and so is mine now! Mange and lemon was a perfect match to have a fresh snack

As we walked past Relieve, my daughter's eyes were drawn to the ice cream display in the shop window. We ordered a Kinder Buono ice cream for her, and it was delicious. Just before we stepped in the car to leave La Orotava, we decided to have “lunch” at Relieve. We ordered a piece of cake, some croissants and a coconut macaroon with our coffee. Everything was delicious and certainly not expensive. The young woman who served us was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!

Yummy! This place has everything you need! I tried the smoothies and they are so refreshing! I've also sampled a few of the cakes on my stay and didn't find one that I didn't love! Hoping to be able to grab their burger before I leave to travel home!

A wonderful little local cafe where locals and tourists are looked after so well. My favourites were the tuna salad the Nutella croissant with a decaffeinated coffee. ( not all at the same time.) my wife liked the mini Quiche with a salad and the little strawberry cakes. A pleasure to relax after mornings spent walking, exploring Las Americas and Los Cristianos. Always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Thank you for all you do and see you next year ❤️

Antonio what a special person I ordered a birthday cake for my girlfriends birthday and asked her if she could recommend a restaurant which she did la pizzaretta del Mar, i also proposed to my girlfriend earlier that day which antonia knew about,we had a beautiful meal and at the end they arranged the cake to be brought out but not only that they came out singing happy birthday with the cake and gave her a bunch of flowers ( red roses) a heart baloon and 2 glasses of champagne which I knew nothing about what a loverly thing to do.so our amazing day was made perfect to the end,so thankyou so much Antonio for the delicious cake and the amazing surprise deffo gets a 5 star from us.xx

I have visited this Italian cafe many times, lovely coffee and good selection of fresh pastries. If you are looking for a special cake for a birthday or anniversary they always have a good selection.

Very good coffee and a big variety of pastries and bread. I loved the almond stuffed croissant they serve, sweet, soft filling and crunchy. It's very close to the port, so it's easy to get breakfast before leaving or when arriving by boat. Very friendly people, helpful and smiling. They speak also French and English which makes ordering much easier.

Nice cozy place to sit with a good selection of pastries and sandwiches. The staff does not speak English, ok customer service, not so friendly. The beer glass was dirty, and the lettuce in sandwich so old as you can see in photos. No wonder it is rated low!

Very bad experience in this cafeteria well this morning we came in this bar and ask coffee and chicken bocadio as per photo you can see there is a caterpillar 🐛 inside the bocadio and we was eat already when I told to the worker says to me rudely that what is this and said maybe it’s from lates she admitted shame for those people who’s selling unhealthy food and playing with healths of the people I strictly recommend not to eat at this place if can be harmful for the people and also I am going to complain against them in the food department for sure 🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Don’t be fooled by the espresso bar. The pastries are decent, but the cappuccino tasted more like watered-down milk than coffee.

Coffee is good and pastries are 👍 I just Probably tried a traditional dried pastries and I was looking for a less dry one 😅staff was friendly and it is nice to sit outside and enjoy the view of the cathedral.

The pastry and coffee itself was alright, but it was impressive how the staff managed to confuse half the customers with its bathrooms. They claimed that they were being cleaned and therefore not usable, but at the same time, some customers were arbitrarily allowed in and some were not.. It was quite confusing, also because the staff didn't speak English all that well. Nevertheless, the food this place offers is good

We got a tuna and a chicken sandwich, two croissants and a come for 15€, everything tasted great!!

We waited a long time to be served as it was only 1 person serving. The frozen coffee was too sweet and couldn't taste the coffee at all. The iced vanilla latte was alright. We got the carrot cake which was very dry and very sugary without any aroma.

I had an amazing experience at this bakery cafe! The staff was so friendly and the food is delicious! I got a sandwich with tomato and cheese, delicious café con leche, and this pineapple upside down cupcake (my birthday cake, in fact!) Todo buenísimo and very reasonably priced. I really appreciate the vegetarian sandwich options! Outdoor seating in sun or in shade, right next to the plaza 👌 I don’t know why this place doesn’t have higher reviews!

My choice of baker on holiday in Benidorm so imagine my delight when I discovered branches in La Laguna and Santa Cruz. Friendly efficient staff in both branches and excellent products. Great for a coffee and pastry stop and for a takeaway lunch bocadillo.

Fresh bakery and good coffee with very competitive prices. The only drawback is we can only speak English and Spanish only for them, it takes a while to finally get our order through.

Lovely fresh bread, cakes and pastries. Their muffins are great (they have a yummy hidden soft centre like ganache for the chocolate, and lemon-yoghurt for the raspberry) and the chocolate-orange bread is scrumptious.

Came here for pistachio croissant and was really disappointed. Croissant itself was nice and tasty but cream filling was not pistachio but rather butter/white chocolate and sugar. It was extremely sweet, so it didn’t taste as pistachio at all. It simply tasted like sugar. If you are looking for delicate taste it is definitely not the one. Coffee was average taste, a bit too bitter (maybe dark roasted beans). There were no tables in front of the cafe, so it felt more as take away shop.

The best croissants ever! 100% whether it’s sweet or savoury these are to die for. The pistachio one is my favourite, but the bueno one is also incredible. Don’t settle for less, if you’re in Puerto de la Cruz and fancy a snack, breakfast or a coffee this is the place!

I visited this artisanal bakery on a Tuesday morning with my wife and toddler and I was blown away by the amazing selection of pastries and bread. I tried the croissants, eclairs and bread, and everything was fresh and delicious. The plain croissants were amazing and perfect for my kid to snack on, while the eclairs were creamy and decadent. The bread had a perfect crust and texture, and was clearly made with care for quality. The service was friendly and quick. Overall, this is hands down the best bakery in Tenerife, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality artisanal baked goods.

The most delicious eclairs and the milk tart/cheesecake. The lemon meringue eclair was my favourite! They also have a cafeteria nearby where we stopped first for brunch. It was disappointing! They serve bread and croissants from the bakery, but very stale. I suggest you head directly to the bakery for the freshly baked goods

Had croissant here. Probably the best in Puerto de la Cruz. Freshly made on-site. You can see other restaurants/cafe park up their vehicles to pick up goodies from this bakery. We had croissant injected with Nutella! So fresh and delicious! Forgot to take photo before eating the croissant hence the half eaten photo as couldn’t wait!

Very nice pastries and coffee with very friendly people there. We come here every summer and winter and we always come here for breakfast. Now they offer fresh juice so it’s even better! The croissant integral is one of our fave, living in Swiss / France famous for its croissant and this shop offers the same quality.

The waitress that spoke English very kindly made me a vegetarian salad even though they didn't sell one. It was delicious. I was impressed with the service.

Pretty good for breakfast croissant, and wholegrain bread with tomatoes and ham. We had to ask for a menu, there wasn't one obviously displayed anywhere, and it had to be dug out of a drawer. Maybe you're just meant to download the app.

This is filled with what seems like locals, so you know its going to be good. The soft croissants are amazing, and anything with dulce de leche as well. Coffee super tasty, and its also quite cheap.

A very locals feel pasteleria tucked away on the edge of the El Chaparral compound. Mid November 9 o'clock on a Wednesday and there was a constant queue to order.

Everything is always fresh and delicious as well as the taste of the coffee. The goods are affordable and not overpriced. Definitely worth visiting!

What a gem of a place - we had great takeaway coffee (decent size too - always a challenge for someone used to English coffee shops) and fabulous pastries for an absolute steal. We wandered out to the sunshine and the pretty walkway to the beach and marvelled at our choices. Incredible value and lovely staff.

The service is HORIBBLE here. Waited for 40minutes at a table. Nobody came to take my order. So i went up to the counter and the lady said that she will come to the Table and i cannot place a oder at the counter and that i needed to wait at the table. Do i went back to the table and waited for another 15minutes... Again the lady did NOT came to my Table. So after 55minutes without ordering anything i left... Dont go here its horrible.

Went here yesterday and was a victim of hate crime. Owners knew I was being abused by a group of women laughing calling me names and did nothing. I froze in terror as an English tourist not understanding Spanish I felt very vulnerable. When they left I asked the waitress why they did what they did she just shrugged her shoulders and did nothing. I am still in shock and looking over my shoulders in case they see me about. These were Spanish women in there 30’s appalling. Shame on you as owners of this establishment for doing nothing. Please do not go here

We use this whenever we come to puerto del la cruz. Very friendly staff, they let you practice a little Spanish without panic. Coffee, pastries, sandwiches very good quality and at a fair price. Nice quiet place to relax for a coffee.

We travel to Tenerife twice per year for a week and every single day of our vacation we visit this place to enjoy the best Barraquito and piña-pastry we know. It's just our favorite cafeteria in the world! :-D

Very friendly and welcoming staff, delicious deserts to start your day with. They have tea, coffee and even fresh orange juice. The prices are adequate for a cafe. You can either stay on premises, or take away with you. You can it inside, or enjoy the sun on the terrace.

Nasty people working there, wouldn't go there again, and wouldn't recomend it either. I have to give a special mention to Conny who sold me a broken bike in the bakery and told me it is fine. Now i'm stuck with a broken bike. Also, i would like to say, the smell coming from the kitchen is not pleasant whatsoever..

The breads looked really good, I asked the lady behind counter what they are and she in a very annoyed tone told me about them as I took a picture to write a review later, and she told me not to put pictures on Facebook, in a very annoyed way and look on her face. Her entire energy was very off-putting and made me uncomfortable. She cannot tell me what to do with pictures I take for writing reviews. It felt very unpleasant. I just preferred to leave.

Best bakery on the island. Their bread, baguettes and pastries are worth a large detour. I loved their traditional eclairs.
