Restaurant
Pinch Of Spice is a popular dining spot in Agra, offering a variety of cuisines including North Indian, continental, Chinese, and Italian. The restaurant is reasonably priced and has clean interiors with courteous staff. It's conveniently located near the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The menu is in English and there's ample seating space with soothing music. Guests can enjoy traditional Indian dishes like Murgh Boti Masala and Paneer Lababdar or opt for continental or Chinese options.
Visited July 25 2025 – Day 22 in India We were on a 17 day cruise in Norway and our wonderful assistant server on the ship Vindhya insisted that we must try Pinch of Spice when visiting Agra. So as soon as we checked into our hotel, Taj View, we walked over. It was just a short and easy walk. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere with attentive staff from the moment we arrived. My husband ordered an Indian single malt scotch called Ram Puri. It was his first time trying it and he really enjoyed the smoothness and unique flavor. It paired wonderfully with the rich Indian spices in the meal. Our kids were craving butter chicken and the server kindly assured us it would not be spicy. However, when it arrived, it was a bit too spicy for them. When the captain of the restaurant came over to check on us, we mentioned it casually and without hesitation he immediately offered to make it right. That level of thoughtfulness really stood out to us. For our youngest, who is five, we ordered the clear chicken soup which was light and comforting. She loved it with some plain rice on the side. It was simple, gentle, and perfect for a child’s palate. We also ordered tangri kebab which were succulent and juicy chicken drumsticks marinated in aromatic spices and grilled to perfection. They were tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The rara gosht was another standout dish with beautifully cooked mutton in a thick, rich, and deeply spiced gravy. It had just the right amount of heat and went perfectly with the freshly made naan and soft roti. Every bite was a delight. At the end of our meal, we were served a refreshing mouth freshener drink that was not only unexpected but a perfect way to finish. It was herbal, cooling, and palate cleansing. We are truly grateful to the captain and team for the excellent hospitality, especially for their kindness and care in making sure our kids were comfortable and happy. It made our experience that much more special. Absolutely delicious food, thoughtful service, and a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend if you are in Agra.

We had mutton rogan josh and butter chicken. Both were excellent. The plain naan and rice were perfectly prepared too. We are very pleased we ventured out of our hotel. We also had two large beers. Good value.

Food was delicious and well served, however it feels like they're trying to provide a premium experience but they fail short, the service was not as good as it should for the price they charge. Expensive.

We went there as it was highly rated, turns out it's nothing but overrated. I'm usually so lazy that I just appreciate food and go, but this place is so amazingly bad it made me sit down in the burger king beside it and write a long drawn out description about how I wasted space in my stomach. Here is what we ordered, 1. Honey chilli chicken 2. Butter chicken full 3. Garlic naan 4. Butter naan 5. Malai kofta 1. Honey chilli chicken : decently good, a tad too sweet but okay for a sensitive palate. 2. Butter chicken full: here is where the disappointment begins. The first bite was literally not felt, it was so bland that even though I had an open cut and ate with my hands it still didn't burn, the 130rs water they provided has more flavour than the 900rs butter chicken. If there was any butter in that butter chicken, i pray for that cow imagining how undernourished it must have been. The gravy was so dull so bland that the only thing appropriate with the gravy was how it looked. The chef must have been an artist cause the only thing good with the curry is the amount of food colour. I can go on about the curry, but the remaining dishes are shittier, so let me describe them too. 3. Garlic naan and butter naan: this became so hard so rubbery so fast that this may be a viable material for riding gear. The butter on the butter naan is as useful as an umbrella in a hurricane, it's there but does no shit. The only reason I still had appetite was because I burnt so many calories eating it. 4. Malai kofta: now coming to the end, the one thing I hoped , prayed will be better, atleast edible. After eating it I wish for only one thing, I hope the restaurant can afford a new grinder with the 3k i paid cause they didn't grind the spices they added in the malai kofta, every bite felt like Russian roulette waiting for some new type of flavour to hit. Overall if you wish to let go of some money, the look the begger gives when you give them 10rs gives you more satisfaction than eating for 3k here. We had more fun making fun of the food than eating the food. I praise the chef for making me lose interest in food and helping me achieve my weight goals. If you read till here, thank you !

Today we went there for our lunch and we had good lunch there. The restaurant is well decorated with beautiful ambiance and there were lots of foods of our choice. All the ordered dish was delicious. Must visit this place for authentic food.

On a friend’s recommendation, went here today, during my Agra trip. But was disappointed Service was extremely slow and food wasn’t that worth the wait. Mutton seekh kebabs were hard & quite dry. Malai chicken tikka was sweet, never had this kind of sweetness before

We came across this place that was highly recommended, and it was a great experience. The service was excellent, and the food was authentic and delicious. We ordered Butter Chicken, Tandoori Murg And Mutton Rogan.

We had only about 50 minutes before our train and the staff managed everything perfectly. Within 30 minutes we ordered, received our dishes, ate a bit on the spot and got the rest packed to go. The food was the best we had during our trip and the service was truly impressive. Huge respect to the team for making it all work so smoothly. Highly recommended.

Mughlai restaurant
Esphahan is a top choice for fine dining in Agra, located within the stunning Oberoi Amarvilas hotel. This elegant restaurant offers classic Mughlai specialties in a luxurious setting adorned with statues. With two seating times at 7pm and 9:30pm, reservations are essential to secure your spot. Guests can savor their meals accompanied by the soothing sounds of the santoor.
Esphahan definitely exceeded my expectations! From the service to the ambience to the food itself, I was truly impressed. We ordered the non-vegetarian thali, and our meal began with a cup of a delicious, gingery lentil soup which was a perfect warm start to the dinner on this chilly November evening. We were the served an appetizer of some of the most tender shrimp and chicken I’ve never had. It set the bar quite high for what was to come. Our thali arrived with samplings of fish, chicken, lamb, daal, and palak paneer dishes along with rice and butter naan. Everything was delightful with the fish curry being a standout for me. They were also accommodating to my guest who asked for a substitution for the paneer. Dessert was also an experience in itself - a journey through traditional Indian desserts and also an Agra-specific sweet called petha. Our servers were all wonderful. I think we had 5 servers attend to our table. A musician playing a santoor created a beautiful and mesmerizing ambiance for our dinner. We had a five star experience and would certainly return again. One small pro tip for booking - we dined on a Tuesday evening in mid-November. I requested a reservation through email about 2 weeks before our trip. Of their two seating options, only the 9:15 pm option was available. I emailed the afternoon of our reservation to see if there were any cancellations for the 7 pm seating. The restaurant emailed me back saying that there was no availability at 7 pm so I kept my 9:15 reservation. We arrived to the hotel at around 6:30 pm to visit the boutiques and walk the grounds (which I highly recommend you do as the hotel is gorgeous). I stopped by the restaurant’s reservation desk at 7 pm to see if there were any tables available. We were promptly seated at a table of our choice. During the two hours we were there, only 4 tables were occupied (so most of the restaurant was empty). I’m not sure why I was told there was no availability but do know that you may be able to snag a table if you simply show up at 7.

What an amazing experience!!! Loved the ambience. We stayed at the Hotel for 2 days and one of the days ended up booking here for dinner. It is supposed to be romantic place but we went with kids and staff was gracious enough to accommodate us there. While my daughter was crying food staff didn’t make us feel uncomfortable they helped me with her. I absolutely was embarrassed but they took care of us. Now food was whole another level. I had vegetarian Thali and my husband had non-vegetarian thali. Thali experience was great because we were able to try little bit of everything. My absolute favorite was Lahore Dum Aloo. I could eat 10 bowls of it. Soy chop was also Delightful. Every dish on place was made with love and I can tell it may have taken hours to create. Music was absolutely the best. Will forget about outside world for few hours of dining experience.
Riddhi P — Google review
Very poor experience and completely missed the high end dining expectations. It all started with at the gate where we were told that our booking was at 9:30 in spite of confirmation that it was at 9:15. Then we were asked to wait in the lobby as the bar was only for reserved guests. When we went down to the restaurant we were told that the reservation was for 9:15 and that we were late, BUT the tables were not ready so we should wait in the bar. Surprisingly this time the bar did not require reservations. We finally got our table at about 10:15 and were told that the tandoor shuts off at 10:30 so we had better order everything by then. The service was attentive, and the food was decent - unfortunately nothing memorable.

Very tasty and fresh food, just what we needed after the long journey to Agra. Thank you! Went back for breakfast next day, everything was very good again 👌

I arrived in Agra for the Taj Mahal and wanted to have good Indian food for a German stomach. I really liked this place. The food was super traditional, very delicious and I didn’t have any stomach problems. The people were super friendly and we could chat a bit with them. Prices were super fine and we got a lot of food for the money. I can definitely recommend this place and would always come back. It’s super cozy and authentic inside.

I’ve been traveling around a few cities in India, and finally found a place where the food really suits my taste! The Muslim owner suggested the Paneer Pasanda, super tasty, especially with naan. They’re also very friendly and explain all the ingredients. Great food, nice people, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

I can't properly review this place as we didn't eat here. We were attracted to it by the menu we saw on Google maps. Sadly this has changed. Prices have gone WAY up & much more westernised. Disappointed we left 😞 That being said, it's lovely & clean & tge owner is friendly. See more recent menus attached (31 August 2025)

Some of the quickest and friendliest service we’ve had in India!! Super helpful with recommendations on what to eat and how spicy each dish could be made. The banana lassi is incredible, as was the malai kofta!
Matt — Google review
The waiter was very friendly upon arrival but that was about it. Once ordered service was pretty basic, waiter on his phone ignoring us. Not even provided drinking glasses for the water. Food was ok, it took a while to get ready on the tiny kitchen. Basic platting and quantities ok. Price was ok.

In a week's stay in Agra, I went to Joney's maybe seven times. This is not how I normally eat when traveling, as I generally prefer to explore various options, but the combination of reliable food and laid-back atmosphere kept me coming back. My staples were breakfast, either a spinach-cheese-onion omelet or a yogurt bowl - once I tried the generously portioned muesli yogurt bowl with fruit that became my go-to. We had Indian food there once and found it to be tasty. The staff was pleasant without being overbearing. It's a small but comfortable space. I recommend Joney's without hesitation.

Vegetarian restaurant
Lakshmi Vilas is a well-known and long-standing restaurant in Agra, offering pure vegetarian South Indian cuisine. Located on Taj Road, it is popular for its affordable prices and simple yet clean dining ambiance. The restaurant's extensive menu includes over 20 varieties of dosas, along with delicious idli and vada. It is highly recommended for those seeking quality food at reasonable prices.
Laxmi Vilas is conveniently located with ample parking space. I love this place for their Dosas. They have a variety of south indian food offerings; we had Dosas and Combo Meals during the last visit and it turned out to be really sumptuous and delicious. Combo Meals comes with an option for Dosa or Uttapam. The Dahi Boondi was absolutely refreshing and is a must try. The staff were courteous and hygiene was upto mark. The restaurant is air-conditioned and has proper washrooms. Recommended!
Nikhil S — Google review
If you want good South Indian food in Agra, those odds one of the best places you can choose to satiate your hunger pangs. The Dosa here is delightful (and that’s coming from me who rarely indulges in a Dosa)! There are a variety of options to choose from. We ordered multiple items such as: Rawa Masala Dosa ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Rawa Onion Masala Dosa ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Paper Masala Dosa ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Mysore Masala Dosa ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Rasam Pappad ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (spicy and lacked the true taste) Dahi Vada ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Cold Coffee ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Idli Saambhar ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ All the items we had were fresh and crisp. The stuffing was nice and seemed quite similar to an authentic South Indian restaurant. The saambhar was very good too and had a very nice subtle taste. The coconut chutney was quite nice and the onion chutney was great. I think they nailed the onion chutney quite well tbh and I didn’t expect it to be quite as good. There is enough parking outside for about 20 odd vehicles. There is a wheelchair entrance but not quite a wheelchair friendly bathroom. Great place to indulge your palate. Great food at a reasonable cost. We paid 3k all inclusive for 9 people and a kid.

I am visiting this place from my childhood days. Must say that this place never disappoints. If u want to eat South Indian food in Agra then this place is for you. The staff is extremely humble, food is yummilicious and atmosphere is good. My personal favourite is South Indian thali, Malabar Paratha with curry and rava kesari ❤️ I will suggest to visit around 8 or 8:30 PM on Sundays else you have to wait for the table.
Anjali S — Google review
This 60 years old place surely amazed me with it’s food and how it’s maintaining the food quality. I was amazed to see people coming in afternoon to have such delicacies. Not a moment when this place has no person inside eating something or other. The food I had was freshly made and quite delicious. The famous family dosa was good in size and taste as well; served with coconut chutney, tomato chutney, cooked potatoes veg and sambhar. Sambhar was delectable undoubtedly. Next on the table was a Chinese cuisine- veg Manchurian and honey chilli potato. Both were good in taste. Cheese uttapam was the next level dish. Only the thing missing was some crispness. But cheese was much fulfilling. Pineapple Kesari bhaat was a delicacy indeed! Perfect sweetness and cooked in ghee.
Anika A — Google review
Lakshmi Villas is a 64 years old south indian joint. I have been going here since i was 10 years old. The taste of food has not changed even a bit. They still use exactly same amount of ghee(which i absolutely love), the same amount of mild spices in their food (which my family absolutely adores) and the same old smile on their staff's faces while greeting us all. Recently, #thehapsisquad was invited for a tasting and we tasted the following, 1. Dahi vada: it was soft, basically melting in my mouth and had the boondi which gave it the crunch it needed🌼 2. Filter coffee: all anybody could say while drinking it is "Ahhhhh..." it was that good.🌼 3. 4ft. Family dosa- it was enough for 6 people and it tasted crispy and sambhar was good as always!🌼 4. Malabar Parantha- i could actually see the different layers of parantha which is a clear indication of how well it was prepared. Also the curry it was served with was tasty as hell🌼 5. Cheese uttpam- it's a must try at this place, it was gobbled in seconds.😅 6. Kesar Pineapple bhaat- top notch quality! 🌼 Apart from South Indian food we also had some chinese, which also was very yum! Honey chilli potatoes were crispy and the flavours it had complimented the crispiness.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 All that is left is they need to improve on the ambience a bit, it's been the same for a very long time. Overall a must visit!🌟🌟🌟🌟

This place is heaven if you're into south Indian dishes from their Filter coffee to Cheese Uttapam. We as #thehapsisquad visited them today and I'm glad we did. Started From Dahi Vada, Even had one of the longest Dosa (4ft) I have ever had. Till Cheese loaded Uttapam everything was as perfect as their Coconut Chatni. Ambience is appt so is the staff. Biryani restaurant
Jahanpanah is a casual eatery located in the heart of Agra, offering authentic Awadhi cuisine with a focus on Mughlai dishes. The restaurant prides itself on introducing Lucknowi flavors to Agra's food scene, with all recipes and chefs hailing from Lucknow.
True testament of Awadhi cuisine. This place may not be cut out for it's looks from the outside but the heart and soul is in the food. The food is sensational. Those looking for quick service will have to wait as everything is made to order and is not pre-prepared. Would highly recommend the following dishes that definately stand out and is highly unique in it's taste:- Starters:- Galawat Kebab, Kakori Kebab, Potli Chicken, Kakori/Galawat Kebab Main Course:- Boti Masala Lucknowi, Chicken Jahanpanah, Mutton/Chicken Biryani Indian Bread's:- Ulta Tawe Ka Parantha, Rumali Roti, Stuffed Kheem Naan

If you are a fan of avadhi and lucknowi food this is a must place to go !ide variety of lip smacking food to offer. . I tried their veg galouti and Hara bhara kabab with ulte tawe ka paratha and it was yumm. . They have launched the new addition of Chinese and Italian dishes to the menu, which I tried too. Tried their steamed fried Afghani tandoori momos, and tandoori and Afghani are recommend from my side. Tried both the pastas but I like the red sauce one more. . Chilli paneer needs a special mention if you like chatakhedaar food. It gives you an aftertaste. . Spring rolls was just perfect for me, juicy and less fried. . They need to work on their Honey chiili potato and Manchurian though. I was expecting high from biriyani but it wasn't according to my taste buds, not good or bad, just not my type of biriyani. . The place is reasonable and ambiance nice. A place where you can sit and enjoy your food. If you are a fan of avadhi and lucknowi food this is a must place to go !

Amidst the loud music playing in this part of sadar bazaar lies this little shop in the end. We went in mainly because of the reviews of its shaami kebab and it sure didn't disappoint. I will give this place a 4.5 for food alone but ratings are down mainly because of the ambience. Ambience: it's too quiet or maybe it feels so after you come inside listening to the loud noises from mama chicken corner. This place needs sprucing up for sure. Food: we just ordered shammi kebab and ulta tawa naan. There was 6 pieces of shaami which was quite heavy and the parantha was simply delicious. Must have. Value for money: the above and two cold drinks cost us appx 500 which is not a bad deal. I will go back for the shammi again. Not for the ambience.

The idea of this restaurant is to serve its beloved customers with some of the best dishes from the Awadhi cuisine. You’ll find some of the best dishes from Lucknow, all of which reek of royalty. Be it the biryani or the galawati kebabs, you’ll all get it here. To be true to their philosophy, the ingredients for the dishes are brought in from Lucknow. And the chefs who work here have been trained to learn the Awadhi style of cooking, especially the Dum method.

The ambience is a bit lack lusture and it falls short of being exciting compared to the loudness of the street food options outside. They have the best ulte tawe ka parantha and galouti. The meals are moderately priced and the server and staff were very helpful.

Ketan D — Google review
I would rate the food 3.5 on the basis of taste. 3 on the basis of presentation. Tried two dishes one was mutton biryani which is no doubt really good and other one was galouti kabab.. here I found little smell with the dish.. as I know how fresh minced mutton tastes and smells so that was a big turn off I couldn't manage to eat further. But my fellow mates loved both the dishes.

Place was nice and the food options were great. Staff were also very polite and quick. Be careful of the mosquitoes though, you may want to wear long pants and covered shoes to avoid being bitten.

I went for dinner with my family. Food was nice about customer service level is no where near to Accor standard(as I stay and eat in different Accor properties I can tell that). Infact it's way way better in the restaurant downstairs compared to Sky grill. Normally when we stay in Agra we eat in their downstairs restaurant. Today we decided to come here, the downstairs menu had an item which was not here.. we spoke to the chef and asked if you prepare for us..chef happily accepted our request..chef was very polite. While ordering, the restaurant manager Manish came and said I am going to charge different amount compared to downstairs restaurant and started giving different non sense reasons for the same. Finally he said I am doing a favour for you by ordering this dish[it was just Rice curd nothing specicL] and I could say no for the dish. I said fine you don't do any favour.. don't take the order I don't want to eat anything. He said that's fine and told chef not to prepare because customer had money issue. It's not about money we also eat it's all about low standard of service shown by Manish, no where near to Accor's standard..

Very nice place to wind up in evening with live music but very brilliant artist. It was really great experience. Food was very nice and tasty. Staff has made sure that even in summer evening you don't feel uncomfortable by installing mist fans. Service was great by the restaurant staff. Rooftop bar with live music make the environment so beautiful and romantic. You can request your own choice of song. The artist was very talented and we enjoyed listening to him to two days in row. All in all it was best experience we had in Agra apart from Taj Mahal. 🙂🙂

Vaishno Bhalla House, also known as Aloo Tikki in Delhi and other parts of India, offers a popular dish made of fried and mashed potatoes mixed with Indian spices. This street food is served hot with chutney and takes the form of flattened balls. The establishment is renowned for its savory Cheela, Dahi Pakodi, and bhalla which have earned it a strong reputation in Agra.
Place is good. But parking problem. No sitting space only standing

Highly recommended, must visit to explore the local street foods . On contrary to the much overrated and less delicious food available in Sadar's "chat gali" this place is just great . My personal favourites at this place are pav bhaji , paani puri , dahi bada and of course Raj bhog .

Got it! Here’s a long, detailed restaurant review you can use — you can tweak it to match your exact experience: *"I recently had the chance to dine at [Restaurant Name], and I wanted to share my detailed experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating that made a good first impression. The menu had a nice variety of options, and I appreciated the effort put into offering something for everyone. I ordered [mention your main dish/appetizer/dessert], and I must say the presentation was impressive. The flavors were well-balanced, and it’s clear that fresh ingredients were used. One highlight for me was [describe a standout dish or drink] — it was honestly the star of the meal. The service was generally good — the staff were polite and tried their best to accommodate us, although at times it did feel like they were a bit understaffed, especially when the place got busy. That said, they were always courteous and responsive whenever we needed anything. One thing I really liked was the overall vibe — it’s a place suitable for both families and friends, and I could see myself visiting again for a casual meal or even a small celebration. Prices were reasonable for the quality offered, though I do think there’s a bit of room for improvement in terms of speed of service and maybe adding a few more unique items to the menu. Overall, I’d say [Restaurant Name] is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other dishes I couldn’t fit in this time!"*

Dasaprakash was the first stop for us in Agra. The food was fine, to be honest i expected more from dasaprakash. The coconut chutney has no flavour at all. The idli's were cold. On top of it the service was tardy. The positives were the vadas which were piping hot and the rava masala dosa.
Ankit B — Google review
I am absolutely thrilled with this product/service! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The quality is outstanding, and the attention to detail is remarkable. It performs exactly as described, and in fact, even better than I imagined. What really impressed me was the ease of use and reliability. The design is sleek and user-friendly, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Delivery was on time, and the packaging was perfect, ensuring everything arrived in excellent condition. Customer support was exceptional as well—very responsive, helpful, and professional. It’s clear that the company truly cares about its customers and takes pride in what they offer.

Indian restaurant
Peshawri, located in the ITC Mughal Sheraton, is a top choice for a luxurious dining experience in Agra. Known as the crown jewel of the hotel, it offers a family-style meal with an assortment of kebabs and tikkas cooked in clay tandoors. The restaurant's signature dish, Dal Bukhara, is highly recommended. With experienced chefs specializing in North-West Frontier cuisine, Peshawri promises highly-flavored delicacies.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Incredible and huge prefix meal. We had to get at least half packed up and taken home. Could be more clear the differences between the prefix options.
Zoe S — Google review
Peshawari is famous restaurant found in every ITC hotel. They are famous for their Mughali food especially their daal Bukhara. We went during lunch time and it was relatively fine not to busy or quiet. We had their grills and daal with naans . It was fine I didn’t understand the HYpe of the food. I would them slightly uptight as my child wasn’t feeling well and requested if we could have yellow daal with rice. They initally refused and said we don’t have yellow daal in the menu so I asked if they could bring from the other restaurant as they suggest it available outside. They weren’t happy and said outside food not allowed. On speaking to their manager they a made him daal and he had with naan. I wouldn’t rule out restaurant but would like to try again to enjoy the experience again
Japleen K — Google review
Had a magical time eating at this amazing restaurant!!!! The chef and kitchen are apart of the experience so you can really feel immersed in the India 🇮🇳 culture. You eat with your fingers so be prepared. The food has a lot of flavor so prep for that too. This is more traditional Indian cuisine and I very much like the setup and vibe. Because the kitchen is visually part of the restaurant you can taste the smells and smoke from the fine dining. Drink menu is quite robust considering it’s a traditional Indian cuisine. I’d recommend gong with the Gold or Platinum menu options.

We went there for family lunch .Food was melting in the mouth . We ordered Dal Bukhara and murg malai kebab and tandoori roti. Our initial plan was to have peshwari kebab but that was not available at that time. I was so engrossed in eating that forgot to take the picture of main course. Offcourse you will not be disappointed for the price you pay for it . Good service . Sharing some of the desserts pics. We had phirni , gulab jamun and kulfi faluda. Phirni is towards less sweet , if you are also fan of less sweet dessert you can try that otherwise go for gulab jamun or kulfi .

Peshawri lives up to the Bukhara hype with excellent vegetarian food. Their daal bukhara and paneer khurchan are to die for and their fresh tandoori breads with their chefs behind the tandoor are incredible. The cherry on the cake, literally, were the desserts - amazing phirni, kulfi and gulab jamun. Mobin, Sunil, Krishna and Udayveer especially ensured we had an incredible experience.

Bon Barbecue is a newly renovated restaurant in Agra that has gained popularity for its delicious and affordable North Indian, Chinese, and Continental buffet options. The concept of unlimited servings of starters before the buffet meal is amazing, with fixed prices for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This family-friendly restaurant offers a variety of cuisines including Chinese, Indian, barbecue, and Asian dishes. Guests can choose between the buffet or ordering individual dishes from the diverse menu.
Excellent experience! The food was delicious. There was a great variety on the buffet, and the starters were quite tasty. The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt.

Poor service have to wait for a long time to get food as they serve only when the hotel is full. Hard to wait with kids for long time. They first serve starters and fill your tummy with cheap food, slowly open the buffet counters. Have to rush with other customers to get food. Some food tastes good but not all. Service as to improve and food should be ready for all customers as they arrive and price is high. After eating people get frustrated to pay bill and some move out without paying. Very poor management. Have to improve in all corners.

What a Night! Amazing! The food was excellent! Sizzling hot and tasted so good, I think I ate for two! You can opt for buffet or order individual dishes. There's a drink menu with some good cocktails, mocktails or alcohol to your preference. Staff was polite and served well. Most other diners were foreigners so I believe this place is not a very common place to dine for locals. If you think the food price is steep, check out the pictures of food that I took. It's worth the buck spent.

I ordered grilled shrimp and clearly said no spice from the start. They brought it spicy anyway. I mentioned it to the waiter, and after a few minutes, they came back with the exact same shrimp, I know because I took photos before and after, and they look identical. When I pointed it out, the waiter said, “They’re not spicy,” basically questioning what I said, and then just added, “Sorry.” Honestly, I expected better service and respect for the customer. When someone makes a clear request, the least you can do is acknowledge it and fix the problem properly, not return the same dish and dismiss the issue. Very disappointing experience.

There is no life here, they will be serving the starters, They took so much time to serve the food. I waited at least 5 minutes for them to serve the next starter. The food was okay. Idk how they got this many ratings. God, they made us wait even for handing over the bill. There is no Prawns.

Went to the restaurant because it was in eh same building at our hostel and it had AC. The menu has a good variety of thing for local good to Chinese and Italian. The tea is a little more expensive but the mug are really big so you get your money worth. I had the pasta and it was good. Pretty sure the sauce was straight tomato sauce from the bottle but it's ok.. I wasn't picky. Nothing extraordinary about that meal. The annoying aspect was the waiter. He was being really clingy and intense with my friend. He was looking at her and wouldn't leave our table after giving us the food. Made us want to leave faster... It wasn't professional.

Please be aware that my review is only based on ONE meal here. Your experience may differ. SUMMARY: Not a comfortable experience for me due to pushy staff. Ambiente: *** unlike on the images the restaurant is underground which was slightly disappointing. I am not sure if there is seating on the terrace or upstairs but they told me there wasn't. The furnishings etc. otherwise is fairly standard. Service: *** the two staff were a bit pushy and stood next to me while I looked through the menu asking what I wanted. I had to ask them kindly to give me a few minutes for them to leave. When I left they were insisting I return for dinner. Overall the staff was too much in your space for the time in the restaurant to be enjoyable. I am sure they meant well but I would recommend they should tone it back a little. Food: *** I had the Aloo Gobhi main which was spiced alright. The price for the main and the bread is fair compared to the surrounding places.

Food is good, ambient is nice, neat and clean. After finish lunch comes to know that their card machine not working. They force to pay cash. Another option is there is ATM nearby. So if you plan to visit carry cash or ask before eating. Their owner seen my mobile when I am typing review. He harassed me not to write the bad review. This is my personal review, how he can force me. After his behaviour I reduce star from 3 to one.

During my recent visit to Taj Mahal Restaurant in Agra, I had the pleasure of savoring some truly exceptional Mughlai dishes. The Shah Jahan Biryani was the highlight of the meal—rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced with tender meat that melted in my mouth. It was an outstanding representation of Mughlai cuisine. The Butter Chicken was equally impressive. The creamy, buttery gravy with well-cooked chicken was flavorful and indulgent, making it a classic choice that didn’t disappoint. To start, the Chicken Salt and Pepper was a delightful appetizer. Crispy on the outside and tender inside, with just the right amount of seasoning, it set a great tone for the rest of the meal.Overall, Taj Mahal Restaurant delivered an unforgettable Mughlai dining experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra. The service provided by Dinesh Bhaiya was excellent—his attentiveness and promptness made the dining experience even more enjoyable. He ensured that every detail was taken care of, contributing significantly to the overall satisfaction of the meal.

Disappointing Service at Taj Mahal Restaurant Our visit to Taj Mahal Restaurant in Agra was far from the experience we had hoped for. After a long journey from Hyderabad, we were excited to enjoy a good meal, especially after seeing foreigners being served with what seemed like enthusiasm. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. From the moment we sat down, the steward, Mr. D, seemed disinterested and unfriendly. We received only three menus for our group of five and, upon asking for recommendations, got an indifferent response. When we inquired about a vegetarian meal, his explanation was vague and unhelpful, leaving us no choice but to settle for a veg pulao. The food took 15 minutes to arrive, which was reasonable, but the real issue started when we expected basic service. When we requested that our food be served, Mr. D responded with a shocking statement—food would only be served upon customer request, implying that we should have explicitly asked beforehand. Meanwhile, we noticed that foreign customers were being served with smiles and enthusiasm. The clear difference in treatment was disappointing and unacceptable. A restaurant that prides itself on hospitality should treat every customer with equal respect, regardless of their appearance or background. This experience left us with a sour taste, not because of the food but because of the service. Moral of the day: The staff decides who gets to experience hospitality at Taj Mahal Restaurant.

Shankara Vegis Restaurant, located near the South Gate on Miyan Nazir Road, Tajganj, is a vegetarian's delight. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious breakfast and snack options, with their Special Thali being highly recommended. Their menu also includes refreshing lassis, juices, and shakes. The relaxed and inviting ambiance makes it an ideal spot for a satisfying lunch or dinner. Visitors can enjoy rooftop seating while indulging in mouthwatering dishes and taking in the spectacular view.
After finishing my visit to the Taj Mahal, I exited through the main gate, passed some souvenir shops, and came across this restaurant. Since it was only around 10 AM, the restaurant was empty. The owner asked, “Did you come in because you saw the Japanese recommendation on Google?” I replied, “Nope. I just followed my intuition.” I ordered the Spinach Curry with Fried Rice, and the owner’s recommendation, the Banana Lassi, and my intuition was proven right. Every dish is made to order, so there’s a bit of a wait, but everything is definitely fresh. The owner mentioned that many Japanese people visit, and I can see why—they would likely enjoy these flavors, and the place is very clean! The restaurant is located right near the main gate of the Taj Mahal. After your visit, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal or a drink to relax.

Very delicious authentic Indian food with very welcoming and kind owners. I visit this restaurant lookwise nice & felt good vibes here. We try different thinks here everyday like Kadhai panner, Special thali, veg cutlet , every lassi & everything is make according your spice level & freshly food. If you want to try different things in veg but not in menu they make for you freshly. One think I also like they give good advice & help to others which helped me in my trip like travel options & language guide. There is no pushy trying to get you into their restro. They have high & cozy rooftop restro with good view of Taj!!! You can take good drinks here . We came here 3 times because of you feel like a home if away from home . It is the family owned restaurant since 1992. Literally one of the best meals we've had in Agra & till my journey. if you visit near the Taj & anywhere in agra I recommend you visit it !!! Thanks to Shankara vegis owners ☺️ 👍

We came in just for lunch, and yes — the food was absolutely delicious — but it turned out to be so much more than just a meal. We were a bit unsure about our next steps, and what started as asking for a bit of advice turned into a long, friendly, and even deep conversation. We learned about the story behind the restaurant and the genuine passion for making every guest’s visit tasty and memorable. Since we had nowhere to be (we’d already seen Agra’s landmarks and were waiting for our night bus), they kindly let us stay until night, making sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Meanwhile, the owner even arranged a henna tattoo for my girlfriend — a beautiful way to experience a bit of Indian culture during our wait. In the middle of the busy, sometimes overwhelming streets of Agra, we found a little pocket of peace — a place that felt like home, far away from home.

Amazing restaurant with clearly labeled vegan options, friendly staff and taj mahal views with Rooftop seating. This is a great family run vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Agra, the son and dad are extremely attentive and helped explain all dishes and even allowed me and my partner to come to the kitchen and see how to make traditional pakoras, dhal and naan from scratch - our hostel offered this to us too but would've charged 1000 rupees and this restaurant did this fully for free! This restaurant has an amazing range of Indian food, but its worth noting they do have some western dishes such as a vegan peanut butter milkshake, vegan pasta and soup dishes, etc. So good if you are a little tired of Indian food and want to mix it up, too. Naturally this is a vegetarian restaurant so it is not fully vegan but staff are knowledgeable of veganism and can even change non vegan dishes to vegan without trouble. They also can make things not on the menu such as aubergine curries

What an AMAZING restaurant! It’s a vegetarian restaurant with clearly labeled vegan options. The food is DELICIOUS, especially the vegetable paratha, kaju mattar curry and vegetable pakora. The owner is such a kind and helpful person, we had really nice conversations. They offer vegan naan which is also very delicious! We also got to meet the owner’s lovely wife who can make henna for you and she’s really really good! If you’re in Agra, this place is a must!

My experience at this vegetarian restaurant in Agra was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel like family. The owner's kindness and passion for his craft elevated the dining experience to new heights. What started as a meal ended up being hours of engaging conversation and laughter, as I left feeling like I had made a lifelong friend. The food itself was simply divine – a true testament to the rich culinary traditions of India. Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with the utmost care. What's more, knowing that everything was cooked with mineral water added an extra layer of reassurance for travelers like myself. In my opinion, there's no better place to enjoy a meal in Agra. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, this restaurant is a must-visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed

Vegetarian restaurant
Deepee Restaurant (formerly Dasaprakash) is a popular spot in Agra, serving authentic South Indian cuisine and delectable ice cream desserts. Established since 1921, this restaurant offers a range of vegetarian dishes including thalis, dosas, rasum, and continental options. The menu also boasts an extensive selection of ice cream flavors. Locals and tourists frequent this understated destination for its delicious food and delightful ice cream parlour experience.
Deepee Restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience! The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance feels cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great taste and excellent service!

Leaving Dasaprakesh went for deepee along with whole family but sad to say Dosa didn’t seem like Dosa! Quality of dosa with its tiny size felt disgusting. Even those coconut chatney was pathetically but yes Chinese sizzler platter were good. After all this is the last dine and to recommend other. Overall Service was okay okay
Karma C — Google review
I really liked the food especially the Schezwan and garlic dosa. The dosas are well priced, but the drinks are on the higher side. Overall a great place.
Anks — Google review
I think Deepe Restaurant can easily be on of my top places for South Indian cuisine outside of South India itself. As a traveler from Tamil Nadu and also as someone who has high standards for their south Indian food, their dosas are amazing and very authentic! A good south Indian restaurant is defined by the quality of its "Sambhaar" and Depee nails it. I think its a really good balance between the savoury and the sweet Sambhaar and we loved it. They don't try too hard with their menu by bringing in all different types of dosa, they keep it modest and original with the standard varities while nailing the taste. The restaurant is a must try for any south Indian who's missing the comfort of their cuisine in Agra. The staff and the service deserves a very special mention. They were extremely polite, prompt and caring with their demeanor. Our waiter Viren Sharma also deserves a special mention for his politeness and his genuine curiosity about our culture when we said that we are from South India. All in all, I would highly recommend Depee and must try experience.
Nalin K — Google review
I Visited this restaurant and absolutely loved the dosa here! It was crisp, tasty, and served hot with delicious chutneys and sambar. The flavors were authentic, and the portion was generous. The staff were polite and the service was quick, which made the experience even better. If you’re a dosa lover, this place is definitely worth visiting.

Good food and good service. Authentic South Indian food in Agra, surprisingly. Go for it if you are an Indian and looking for a break from North Indian food. Well-maintained washroom as well.
Rahul B — Google review
We wanted to dine-in and spend few hours so we googled out the restaurants and found this place. The restaurant is elevated and they have a nice transperent lift for it. entrance is very nice with gatekeeper welcoming you. Restaurant has warmly atmosphere with dim yellow light. Its a pure vegetarian restaurant. Though they serve many cousine but south indian dishes are their core. Prices are higher than the market price may be about 1.5x or 2x times. Idli was good served with 2portion of white chutney, one portion of sambhar, small container of pure ghee and gun powder. Just Amazing Presentation. Cream of Tomato soup was okayish. I felt the milk based ingredient proportion was bit higher in it. But may be it was needed to make cream flavour. It was served with two large bread sticks and butter. The best decision we made was to have their Paneer ki sabji with Laccha parota meal. In the entire menu that was something which justified the price and quantity. Overall good place to visit once but you have to make ordering decision wisely. Dosa here are too expensive and portion/quantity is okayish. Since I spent good time at this restaurant, I strongly wish to point out with my observation that the new Manager (Jav bir/Om bir) is good for customers but very harsh on the restaurant staff. He is like a live wire on the field. Only scolding the staff each time they crossover. The staff and middle level representative are polite and sincere in their work, Mr. JayVir/Ombir, please be gentle with them otherwise it will be a bad sign for resturant.

I have been coming here from 1990s the place was earlier called Dashaprakash and then called Deeper. In all these years the quality of food at this place has been constant. Apart from few odd experience this place has been amazing. This place is inside meher talkies and is generally well known for the quality. I recommend dhai vada , swiss orange Sunday and macroni with cheese. Earlier continental dish used to take longer time then south Indian dish now there is an hardly any time lag now.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype I would not recommend visiting this place. Despite the hype, my experience was extremely underwhelming, both in terms of food quality and customer service. The staff seemed indifferent, and even after multiple follow-ups, no action was taken to address the issues. You’ll likely get tired of asking for help — and still receive none. Here’s my honest rating of the items I ordered: Chilli Chicken – 2/10 Manchurian – -1/10 (it was burnt) Fried Rice – 2/10 Chowmein (Noodles) – 2/10 Chicken Roll – -1/10 (had a bad smell, seemed spoiled) Mughlai Paratha – 8/10 (probably the only decent item) Lachha Paratha – 3/10 And to top it all off, the plates were quite poor — I’ve attached a picture of the plate for reference. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I hope the management takes feedback seriously and works on improving both the food quality and customer service.

One of the best non veg food joints for the non veg food lovers. They have lot of varieties, from Tikka to Biryani and shawarma. The food is mouth licking. There's a lot of space to sit and enjoy food. Service was good and there is a lot of parking space around. A must visit whenever you're in Agra

Dear Travellers, We visited this Halal restaurant in Agra and had a great experience! The ambiance was quiet with a pleasant music background (not too loud). The food was hot, tasty, and value for money - won't break your pockets! We ordered: - Chicken Steam Momos - Cheese and Corn Momos - Mutton Galouti Combo (didn't enjoy it) - Egg Biryani - Murgh Shahi Tandoori (TOP-NOTCH!) - Chicken Tikka Masala - Naan Bread The Murgh Shahi Tandoori was a highlight! If you're looking for good non-veg options in Agra, this place is worth trying. Just skip the Mutton Galouti Combo. Overall, great value and delicious food!

"This place feels overhyped. Tried the chicken roll, which was just average, though the mutton seekh kebab roll was quite good. Golden Street Restaurant is a luxurious and lavish dining establishment situated in a prime location at Taj East Gate road, near the Kalakriti Auditorium. Specializing in continental and Mughlai cuisine, this restaurant is renowned for its delectable biryani. Just a short distance from the iconic Taj Mahal, it offers an exciting decor and friendly staff, making it a highly recommended dining option with great food at reasonable prices.
We loved the flavour of the dishes we picked. Excellent quality. The atmosphere is a little cold with the blue white lights. Seating quite plasticky and so are the cushions on the walls. However, we liked the service. If you want really good food and aren’t so bothered about the atmosphere this place is for you.
Dominic S — Google review
The daal was rather tame, lacking the spice we had asked for. We requested medium spice but what we received was more like “white people spice.” The overall atmosphere seemed heavily tourist-centered, and half the menu leaned toward Western dishes rather than authentic local fare. One detail that stood out was a staff member on his hands and knees scrubbing the floor right in the middle of service. While cleanliness is, of course, important, it felt out of place in a restaurant that clearly caters to Western tourists. If the restaurant wants to adjust its presentation for that audience, it might need to refine not only its food but also its approach to service and ambiance. The service itself was polite, though a bit rushed. It seemed like the staff were more focused on turning over tables quickly than ensuring a thoughtful dining experience. This left the meal feeling transactional rather than enjoyable, especially considering the setting and the premium price point. The menu, while extensive, tries too hard to appeal to everyone and in the process loses its identity. It would have been nice to see a stronger commitment to authentic flavors rather than watering everything down to meet perceived tourist preferences. There is a certain charm in serving traditional dishes proudly and letting visitors adjust, rather than shifting entirely toward a Western palette. To be fair, the ambience was pleasant for those looking for a familiar, international-style eatery abroad. The décor was tasteful, and the location itself was convenient. However, if you’re seeking genuinely flavorful local cuisine, this may not be the spot to find it. It feels like a place designed to comfort rather than excite.

If you're visiting Agra, this restaurant is a great option, located conveniently close to the Taj Mahal. We ordered a tandoori platter that included chicken, lamb, and fish. The lamb was perfectly cooked, and the fish was tender and soft, though a bit mild in terms of spice. The chicken, however, was a bit too dry for my taste. We also had the chicken curry, which paired beautifully with a few pieces of garlic naan. The portions are quite generous—more than enough for two people. The service was excellent and attentive, and the environment, including the restroom, was clean and well-maintained!
Andrew G — Google review
Found overall Agra to be costly as they seem to have marked everything for visiting foreign tourists. This place was recommended but we found it to be lacking in charm, maintenance, and quickness.... Is it because of the off-season but it was at least a public holiday!? We will never know.

Best marwari style food ever.. Fully vegetarian food, it was so soft and scrumptious. It’s unlimited thali system.. although they do-not refill on the sweet😜 Full rajasthani vibes. We went in a group of 8 people and ordered 3 different thalis, they serve lassi, papad and gwar fali(fermented, dried and fried cluster beans) before the main thali. Kadhi was wonderful. Ghette ki sabzi was amazing(it’s basically gram flour balls curry) Rice quality is great, not too dry and yet powdery.. We had rosogulla and kheer.(yummy🤤) Nice interiors Even they had a great spot for outdoor photos😮‍💨. Could have invested more on the staff and their amenities, by helping them understand more about customer satisfaction and customer service. Toilets we’re worst, with all paan n smell.🤢

If you love Rajsthani food, come here . They serve four types of Thali. Prices are moderate. Most items are refilled. I visited as a part of large group, many members were fond of Rajasthani food and they were very happy. I found the food moderately OK. Service was good and servers were pleasant to interact. They were happy to refill. Parking is slightly difficult to find during peak lunch time. Prices are reasonable.

Just a hype for Rajasthani Marwari food, nothing fancy. Food is ok ok and not worth the price. Service is average and sometime delayed. Atmosphere no music or cool vibes just too much noisy and sound of people speaking. They will serve you as many roti and dal/sabji but no extra sweets or raita. Roti served is most of the time normal ones not missi roti. I would say not so authentic Marwari food. Place is full of dust and quite dirty and even the washroom are not so clean.

Nestled in the heart of Agra, Chimman Lal Puri Wale is a culinary gem that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 1840. This beloved eatery is renowned for its delectable puris paired with a unique asafoetida-infused aloo sabzi, creating an unforgettable dining experience. The establishment carries a rich history, with tales dating back to the 1857 uprising when cannon fire inadvertently added to its storied past.
Excellent experience. Nice food. Awesome taste. If you like Pakka khaana then this is the place for you. The most desi indian typical agra food you can have. The best meal of the day one could have in the Agra. The Fort station is also near by. You could also order food on Zomato. This place is nicely enabled. Paytm is also accepted. The best place for Poori Lovers.
Anupam S — Google review
A fantastic spot for delicious puri-sabji, maintaining the same amazing taste for years. The flavors are authentic and consistently satisfying, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. However, the place is often crowded, and parking can be a challenge, so plan accordingly. Despite these minor inconveniences, it's definitely worth a visit for a hearty and flavorful meal!

When you find yourself in Agra, a visit to Amritsari Kulcha Junction is an absolute must for food lovers. Nestled conveniently near popular spots like Domino's and Pizza Hut in Sanjay Place, this eatery is renowned for its delectable offerings, particularly the Amritsari Kulcha Naan. The menu features a variety of dishes including Chaap, Dal Makhani, and Paneer Tikka that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
Absolute delicious. I have my family in Punjab too, this is the only restaurant in Agra so far that touches the same taste as one can get in Amritsar. Well manage, cleanliness, taste, presentation. A perfect place for family or friends reunion.

Had a paneer and aloo kulcha. the food was good, and I appreciate the service provided as well
Kaustubh K — Google review
Pricing was bit higher bit the taste was too good. More like home made taste but the offerings were too much and well chosen. I tried Paneer Kulcha there. With Kulcha sabji Onion and Chatni served included with a butter. Better recommended for Family or Heavy diet people.
Sharad B — Google review
I visited Amritsari kulcha at Sanjay Palace, The parking area is sometimes congested and parking fee is there 50 rs.. Now the food specially Kulcha combo is very good in taste, rest I have tried Veg Biryani which was average in taste. The service and atmosphere was good.
Devesh N — Google review

All of the above mentioned things are of top notch taste and quality. Highly recommended for a heavy lunch scenes💙🌟

Paneer lababdar tasted good but was EXTREMELY oily. Same goes with butter naan. Loved the green chutney there.
Rashmi J — Google review
Whenever I visit Agra, i make sure to eat soyachap. Its my favourite. The green chutney is so so amazing. They provide us with extra chutney and onions also. This is so good deed of them. It's Reasonable too. Then we ordered thaali. The sirka type chutney with chilies and onions is awesome you did forget to have the rest of sabzi or dal. The kulcha is good too. I have visited this place for the 4th time. Everytime its a must visit from my side. The order was late due to some reason but the rest is all too good. Thank You.
Shristee J — Google review
It is located in Sanjay place next to Domino's and Pizza hut and is very convenient to spot as the whole place is quite famous for eateries near by. It serves one of the best chole kulchas. The taste is pretty decent and one can have a quick bite as the place is generally packed and a little shabby. Also the Chaap here is very tasty and highly recommended. One can also get decent paneer and soya rolls Visit for just good food and not for the ambiance

The Masala Darbar Restaurant (M.D) in Agra is highly recommended for those visiting the city. This hotel offers a pleasant ambiance and the food served here is delicious, flavorful, and of generous portions. The staff members are friendly and provide excellent service to customers. The restaurant is located away from the main road but can easily be found by following a map.
We arrived here a little bit late in the afternoon but they have been extremely nice with us. They suggest us some food and helped us choosing something that wasn’t super spicy. He recommended us the good food. The food was amazing and the portions were a lot for such a little price. The service of Rishi and Balram have been amazing! We had the best time. Thanks again!
Elisa Q — Google review
We tried their lachha paratta and paneer butter masala. We liked it very much. Their cold coffee was also refreshing. We didn't like their Dosa that much though. Their service was very good, they were really friendly and accomodating towards us. Would recommend this as a good place to have vegetarian dishes.

Food was very salty and oily. Taste wasn't good. Need to be improved a lot. Went there based on Google review. Taxi driver said that it won't be good here. Still we went with our decision. In the end taxi drivers words turned out to be true

The main branch at Pratap Pura Chauraha draws crowds eager to savor dishes prepared in rich clarified butter, elevating each bite to an unforgettable experience.
You have to try this! Bedai Kachori. They have literally amazing Bedai in the city! Pyaar kachori is good too, but Bedai is simply a must try.. highly recommended 🙏

I have visited Agra multiple times and I remain confused about what those restaurants are which are good and reliable considering so many duplicates available across the city. One example is Panchhi Petha. I have visited this restaurant and found it very genuine and reliable with tasty options. Bedani Poori is good and available in the first half. There are all options available and you can find the menu options online. There is outside space for parking that is a big relief in a congested city like Agra. The price is worth it and not too costly. The foods are fresh along with sweets items. The owner, I found is a very honest and simple man with polite nature. The way he treated us was a big surprise. He himself was keen to explain the things in detail about the food. Seating - There are bench like seating outside with open space. Do not expect AC outside. Overall - Recommended. Very good for casual dining.

Received PR package from kitchens by Deviram. They have recently opened cloud kitchen in Hyderabad. Devirams sweets back at Agra is very famous for its Bedai n sweets. Keeping same concept in mind Deviram has bought authentic Agra street food in Hyderabad. Coming to service n food Food was packed and delivered neatly. Bedai was crispy n stuffing was apt. It was served with Dubki wale aloo. Both tasted good 4⭐ Samosas outer shell was crispy and masala was spicy . Accompanied with tamarind chutney and coriander chutney. 4.5⭐ Pani puri : Puri was crispy n pani was spicy n tangy . 5⭐ Dahi bhalla papdi chat : This was a show stopper. Soft bhalla n crispy papdi served with cold yogurt , chutneys and salad 5⭐ Jalebi: Perfectly fried , crispy and not overly sweet 5😊 Overall great place to order authentic street food from Agra . Came here on a friend's recommendation during my Agra Food Tour. This place seems to remain little crowded due to its delicious kachori. We tried the famous dahi kachori along with sweet thandi lassi. This place holds a legacy in the city and is said to be an old place. A must visit place for breakfast.

If you're on the lookout for a delightful multicuisine dining experience, Raj Rasoi in Civil Lines, Agra is a must-visit. This charming restaurant boasts comfortable seating and contemporary decor that creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for family gatherings. Guests often rave about the delicious food and prompt service provided by courteous staff members. While some dishes may be hit or miss, many patrons recommend indulging in their exquisite Kesar Jalebi with Rabri as a standout treat.
I was a frequent visitor of this place and recently visited this place with family . Such a mind blowing experience. Food is awesome.। Service is prompt , staff is courteous.।। Overall paisa wasool. Comfy atmosphere. Value for money. 5 out of 5 stars. Special thanks to the one who was attending us Mr. Sanjay Kumar who served all items on time .

The restaurant is neat and clean and well decorated. Menu is also good and the dishes are tasty. Dishes somewhat looked overpriced as compared to other restaurants and because of that customers are less. Cakes are also very costly. Few corrections needs to be done else it is OK.
RAJAT S — Google review
I frequently visits Raj Rasoi because it's nearby and delivers delicious meal. Prices are bit expensive according to environment but the food worth it. And definitely try kesar Jalebi With Rabri it's amazing 👌. And also Sambhar and Chole Are not good in taste.

Place is good and seems hygienic, but the capped drink had mosquito in it. The waiters were probably high, not bringing what was asked. They got different product and extra quantity of bread that we didnt ordered and charged us in last. Food taste was ok.

Aleem Restaurant is a great budget-friendly restaurant that serves up delicious Indian cuisine. The food is tasty, clean, and good service is available. Roti can be better and hotter, but it's one of the most successful restaurants Aleem has ever seen. They have separate gravy for different dishes which makes it even more delicious. They also have friendly and hospitable staff who know how to run a business well. I would give 4 stars to Aleem Restaurant as they should improve further.
Had plans for somewhere else but was recommended by someone to go here for authentic and fairly priced, delicious food. Could not be happier that I listened. The service was caring and faultless without being overbearing or pushy and the food....it was delicious. We paid just over 1700 INR for the whole meal which was great value for quality food. Will come back again and recommend everyone to go. They have a family seating area for women and children to also enjoy their great food. Update: so good we went back for a second night in a row 😋

Quantity and service is good but very Average food taste. Ordered Afghani, Changezi and Mutton Galouti disappointed with all of them. The only thing i liked was quick service and fresh chicken being used. Price Justifies the quantity but not taste.
Alok M — Google review
Very disappointed with the food quality. There is a serious lack of hygiene — I’ve found insects (makki) in the food on three different occasions. Despite giving multiple chances, the quality continues to decline. This is unacceptable and raises major concerns about food safety. Definitely not recommended

Great selection of kababs and rotis. We tried the chicken seekh and mutton shammi kababs, with paper thin rumali rotis. Clean, efficient service at this popular family restaurant.

I had dinner once when I was in Agra, Try Chicken Laham is their best. And Mutton Korma was one of the best they provide garma garam rotis. Must visit and try if you are in Agra.

Since its quite old restaurant I could see the kitchen is still having the unhygienic views. I don't know how the inside looks like. Otherwise, the food was good. I could see people struggle with chicken pieces in Biryani as they were less and I mostly received bones in it. While I liked their chicken changezi. Must visit for once

A great place to eat mutton, especially the kali mirch mutton and mutton kadai. The Lucknow special galawat chicken kebab is a must try item and it comes along with 2 parathas. The Afghani chicken is worth the quantity. The ambience is average. The rush is heavy during almost all time of the day.Overall the place provides a good food experience for foodies.
