Scenic Railroads
Conway Scenic Railroad is a nostalgic 19th-century train station located in North Conway, NH. It offers rides on restored locomotives with dining cars, providing a charming and quaint experience at the heart of the Valley. The area is known for its ski town charm, with shops, dining options, and Schouler Park surrounding the railroad. The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce collaborates with local businesses to promote the region as a premier New England destination.
This is a historic railroad located in the White Mountains and it was built in 1874. The station is in North Conway. We took a 55 minute round trip ride on this train during our visit. It's such a fun activity to do if you have kids, love history, and/or love trains. The employees were friendly, the seats were comfy, and the views were amazing. We went in May so the train was pretty empty; they gave us the option of riding in first class, free of charge. Score! They also told us stories and facts through the intercom. I highly recommend a visit!
Kim V — Google review
I had higher expectations but it was still a nice relaxing ride. 70% of the time was spent riding through a wall of trees and towns. When you enter the train, for best views sit on left side. Once it did open up, the views were great. Definitely consider a fall ride during peak for the best color.
Ashley S — Google review
We were so excited to take the scenic railroad train ride. Cut out a scenic drive in the national park to make the trip. The train car was really cool and built in 1923 very detailed features and use to be a passenger train from new Jersey to Manhattan. The ride was smooth and relaxing with the sun coming through all the windows. The scenic views were sub par from construction zones, neighborhoods, junky back yards, businesses, a corn field and one nice view of a mountain range with soccer goals all in front of it. Very disappointed from what was described on the website to what was actually delivered. Maybe the 4hr trip is better but the 1hr was just a train ride without the scenic views. I will say everyone was nice and polite and the car was exceptionally clean. Adding pictures of the #view of your doing the 1hr to save your time.
Big F — Google review
This is a wonderful opportunity to see the changing colors in the fall. However, I recommend that you do NOT reserve the dome car which has the most expensive seats. The dome and windows are not clean and are tinted so you can not get pics. In addition, we were freezing as there is no heat and the seats appear short than in the main cars. Four hours is a long ride to see more ‘of the Same’. I might recommend a shorter, less expensive option.
Karen B — Google review
We had a really enjoyable experience. We travelled in Dome class which does give you better views. The trees along the track obscure much of the views so you really have to enjoy the journey itself. It is quite an expensive activity so you really have to like riding a train. I feel like they could have made the experience more valuable with a complimentary drink and snack. There is a snack bar on board but queues are long. Overall we are glad we did the journey but I wouldn’t repeat it
Morag C — Google review
We took a 1-hour ride to celebrate our anniversary and had a lovely time! We bought first-class tickets and had the car entirely to ourselves (on an August Sunday). The views were lovely, the seats and car were comfortable (and the A/C had no trouble keeping up with the August heat), and we had a delightful time. For the first half of the trip there was a pre-recorded narration of the sights coming up (in a soothing Mr. Rogers–style voice — we felt like he liked us just the way we are!), which helped me get in position for photos. The second half of the trip (coming back along the same track) had no narration. Probably not good for small children with limited attention spans, but a delightful, relaxing experience for adults who like scenery and history. One thing to watch out for: We did not allow for the dense traffic we experienced on our way to the station, and we ended up being the last people aboard and had to scramble to get our boarding passes. In general, traffic in the area during the summer was a lot thicker and slower than I expected. (Since we were the only people in the first-class car, though, it didn’t matter that we were the last ones aboard.) There were a few fun historical exhibits in the station; it's worth taking the time before or after your ride to check those out.
Jay S — Google review
Riding the Conway Scenic Railroad was a truly unforgettable experience like stepping back in time while gliding through some of New Hampshire’s most breathtaking landscapes. The vintage train cars were beautifully restored, and the ride itself was smooth, peaceful, and full of charm. As we traveled through lush forests and over scenic bridges, the fall colors were absolutely stunning, making every moment feel like a moving postcard. The staff were incredibly friendly and shared fascinating local history throughout the journey, adding depth to the views outside the window. Whether you're a train enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing and scenic escape, this ride is a perfect blend of nostalgia, nature, and New England charm.
Salma M — Google review
We rode the scenic railway at the beginning of October. Overall it was a disappointing experience. We chose the dome class for the best views. Unfortunately the windows were filthy so it wasn’t possible to get good photographs. A lot of the journey is through trees and woodland so the views aren’t great. It does open up towards the end so you can enjoy the scenery. It is expensive for what it is. The ticket collection was confusing, we queued for a long time to board the train and were directed to the wrong carriage. This process could have been better organised . If you love trains it’s worth doing otherwise you’re see more driving around.

Waterfalls
Diana's Baths is a picturesque series of cascading waterfalls located in Bartlett, New Hampshire, just outside of North Conway Village. The site was originally home to a water-powered sawmill built in the 1860s. A smooth trail leads visitors to the pools and waterfalls, with varying water levels throughout the year. According to local Native American legend, the baths were once inhabited by evil spirits until they were washed away by a friendly mountain god in a massive flood.
Great little day trip. Beautiful spot to take littles to swim. It's a bring in take out place. No trash cans near the falls. Bit of a walk to get there, but it's mostly a walk. All shaded! Short drive from down town north Conway. Super easy find.
Jessica J — Google review
Parking is in an open gravel parking lot. There is a box at the entry to the trail where you pay through honor system. Restrooms are located at the entry too. Nice hike through lush forest next to the stream. There are small ponds and waterfalls past Diana's Bath. Hiking trail is not easy but less than an intermediate-level hike for some parts.
MI S — Google review
Outstanding marvel of nature! We spent a ton of time here, when the water level is low you can climb on the rocks. We climbed to the top. In the summer you can get refreshed by the cold waterfalls. Just be very careful as the rocks are worn smooth and are slippery even when dry.
Jen B — Google review
We we're looking for a little walk with a 'reward' at the end and this place didn't disappoint. A really nice cool walk through the trees to Diana's Bath and the relaxing sound of running water. We used our America The Beautiful pass for free parking too.
Danno — Google review
There wasn't much water due to the drought we've been having, but there were still small water streams and not having as much water allowed us to explore on the rocks a little more which was cool. Definitely want to visit again when we're not in a drought.
Desiree A — Google review
Great place for a family friendly experience. Just be cautious of climbing on the rocks, it can be slippery. Very scenic and beautiful rock formations with waterfalls. Nice place to picnic but get there early because it's a popular attraction
Neil J — Google review
It's a short easy hike which leads to a great many rocky steps which sends water cascading down into a plethora of pools. Great place to run around without too many sharp ledges to worry about. Always take care where the rocks look wet, of course! A few brief downsides: when we went there around early afternoon, it did take awhile to get into the parking lot. It's a very popular place! Also, the bathroom was a pig style (and smelled worse than one...)
Shadedk4 — Google review
A past time we have been enjoying with family every year since 1998! Such an iconic spot. The rainfall for the year determines how beautiful the falls will be. Easy half a mile walk to the falls then climb the rocks yourself or with your kiddos, grandkids and pups. Bring water or hiking shoes with you. Last but not least, get there before 8:30 because the line backs up out the entrance.

Factory Outlets
Settlers Green Outlet Village in North Conway, New Hampshire offers a tax-free shopping experience with 70 outlet stores featuring popular brands like Michael Kors, Columbia, Cotopaxi, Kate Spade, and J. Crew. Visitors can also explore Tanger Outlets in Tilton for more discounted fashion from stores like Gap, Old Navy, Ralph Lauren, and Talbots.
Settler’s Green in No. Conway is a shoppers dream come true. Anything in apparel, gadgets, goodies and food are all there. Steep discounts are given and who doesn’t like buying stuff with no sales tax, thanks to we residents who pay high real estate taxes. I was impressed by the layout of the stores, the landscaping with raised island beds of grass and trees. In good weather there are musicians singing and playing their guitars, logistically placed in areas that won’t interfere with other artists. Be sure and give them a little something.
Stephen S — Google review
We were at this outlet to grab some dinner mainly. We couldn’t really do any shopping since the outlet closed all stores at 7pm. That was unexpectedly too early for us. We still explored the outlet a bit. There are parking lots all around the place, not too difficult to find parking. It’s mostly clean. Security personnel were walking around to make sure the safety of shoppers. There’s a beer garden (was closed) and some good restaurants to dine as well. Lots of directories available at entrance points. They had over 50 different stores, including some popular ones like Gap, Old Navy, Kate Spade, MK, Levi’s, Adidas, Pandora, Skechers and Crocs. Most of them had discount offers and memorial day weekend sale going on, on top of reduced outlet price on items.
Nehal A — Google review
Settlers Green is a nice place to go shopping if you dont to do outdoor stuff in the Mt Washington Valley. Been coming for years. The place is pretty much clean. The reason I give it four out of five stars is it never really seems to keep the most popular stores Nike used to be here which was a great store. There are other stores that have come and gone now they have under Armour Old Navy, the gap, etc., and for the kids they have Ryan family center. There is always plenty of parking. And there is a hotel on the property. The deals are either hit or miss one week. Every store has a sale that’s really good and then the next week there’s nothing. They have bathrooms. The properties also divided into two sections with the newer stores a few hundred feet away.
Abner B — Google review
Settlers Green is an outdoor shopping plaza in the beautiful town of North Conway. It is a tax free shopping plaza which consumers can benefit from. There is a coffee shop, candy shop, restaurants, and name brand stores like Columbia and Sketchers to name a couple. We went there a couple of times and enjoyed walking around and shopping. We've dined at Barley and Salt and got coffee at The Met Coffee House. Definitely worth a stop if you enjoy shopping. They also have electric vehicle chargers and plenty of free parking.
Kim V — Google review
Where do I begin shopping in North Conway? I would definitely start here. There is a wide range of stores, Nike, Tablots, Banana Republic, etc, for you to choose from. I would definitely recommend checking it out. Great shopping outlet!
Owen D — Google review
I thought it was okay. Lots of shops but lots of shops were closed. I went with a senior trip. There was a lot of walking from one end to the other... not too many choices of places to eat. We ended up settling for market basket. Prices were great. All in all it's not a bad place to attend.. just put some good walking shoes on
N — Google review
Settlers Green Outlet Village is located in North Conway, NH on Route 16 and has over 60 stores that offers a wide variety of shopping and food for families. Today was a Monday in mid-April and we were pleased to see the parking lot mostly full, many shoppers in stores, and people carrying bags of purchased items. The last 4-6 times we have visited the mall it was like a ghost town with very few cars, empty store fronts and few shoppers with no bags of purchased items. The store fronts are now filling up and is good post-COVID news.
Jim O — Google review
This was a great outlet. Very clean, all the stores you could want and decorated so cute for fall. My little daughter even turned it into her own personal dance floor! She loved the music, bears statues, creating songs with her brother and more. Will definitely visit again!

Nestled in North Conway Village, Eastern Slope Inn Resort offers a variety of accommodations including traditional rooms, suites, and townhouses. The resort is conveniently located within walking distance of Conway Scenic Railway and a short drive from Cranmore Mountain Resort. Guests can indulge in recreational activities such as tennis, swimming in the indoor pool, or working out at the health club.
The Eastern Slope Inn has been one of the most enjoyable stays we've had in all our travels. The location in the heart of North Conway is unbeatable. It's a short walk to the Conway Scenic Railroad, restaurants, coffee shop, and stores of all kinds. There is a charming little playhouse on the property, and a beautiful hiking trail that leads to a pond and river. I can't say enough about the resort itself and how comfortable and welcomed we felt throughout our stay. The property has lots of historic charm but with all the modern amenities as well. The rooms are large, well kept, well furnished, and feel just like home. There is also a pool, hot tubs, and gift shop, and a couple nice restaurants right next door. You will feel right at home and have everything you need.
Mark M — Google review
Very easy check in and all the staff was great. The location is perfect since it is walking distance to restaurants and the scenic train. I didn’t use the pools or amenities so I can’t comment on them. I was in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit and it was nice. It was on a 2nd floor, so if stairs are an issue for you, you may want to confirm that when booking
Cheryl L — Google review
In the heart of North Conway. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. They also have a nice path (running/walking) that goes back to the River. A pretty pond for fishing. It's just a really cool old hotel. Our room was an efficiency with a Murphy bed. Small, but cute and everything we needed. We're definitely going back.
A D — Google review
We loved our October stay at Eastern Slope. It's a really cool old building and it feels like they are really trying to update some things. First, the staff was SO sweet (I'm so sorry I forgot the names of staff on the 10/14 afternoon shift but thank you!) and gave us perfect recommendations for where to go. After a drive through Conway and a lunch stop at Muddy Moose we strolled the main street and enjoyed the shops that were open. In the evening we ate at Craft NoCo around the corner and LOVED it. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable and we appreciated that the room had some pool towels. We would not hesitate to stay here again and felt very cared for.
Jennifer E — Google review
This review would easily be 5 stars if two things happened. One, the rooms need to be updated. It’s not dirty in any sense and the amenities are pretty great. It just needs some loving. The whole resort does. And it deserves it, but I know that’s not easy. For the price, it’s ok that it’s a little outdated. The second thing is I love how stocked the rooms were with towels, but there was no housekeeping in the multiple days we were there. Again, I get the reasons on why and it in no way impacted my experience(the woman who does housekeeping was so pleasant to say hello to every morning), but if someone is looking for a place that has that for accommodations, it’s important to know that that isn’t going to happen. But for the price and location, I will be back here, and I will be confident booking clients here too!
Maegan S — Google review
Central to town stores and restaurants. Has a flavor of yesteryear. Facility was clean. Rooms were equipped with a nice kitchen and a small apartment feel. Enjoyed the hiking trail to the river behind the Inn.
Kim E — Google review
My daughter and son have time share at this location. It is a beautiful spot! The rooms are quaint and maybe just a bit dated? Though that may be what they are going for. So many of the staff are great, though there have been several late night staffers that really are a bit rude
Anastasia M — Google review
Absolutely beautiful resort with comfortable suite and perfect location. We used the jacuzzi and swimming pool and walked the nature trail in the back of the building. They are in the process of opening a new restaurant that will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommend.

Pub
Located in North Conway, the Muddy Moose Restaurant & Pub offers a cozy lodge-like setting with a wilderness theme, making it an ideal spot for enjoying American cuisine with friends and family. The restaurant features a warm bar and a lively atmosphere, perfect for get-togethers. With its delicious menu and outstanding catering services, it's a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. We were greeted by smiling host and our waitress was so sweet and funny. Knew the menu well and made some very good suggestions for us when we couldn’t make up our minds because there were too many many wonderful choices. I only wish this restaurant was closer to home. The Slopeside nachos with pulled pork were soooo good. They make St Louis style ribs with their homemade specialty blackberry bbq sauce…chefs kiss🤌 Give them a try next time you’re in the area or just traveling through. You won’t regret it.

Out of 4 nights in North Conway, we went here 3 nights. It was excellent every time. The first night, i had the sirloin steak and mashed potato which was amazing and very well cooked at Medium Well. On the other nights, I had the Muddy Moose burger and the half rack of ribs (both with fries), which were delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. It had a nice cosy rustic atmosphere and wasn't too loud although it was very busy every time.
Luke N — Google review
My wife and I stopped for a quick bite to eat. The ambience is nice and the service was incredibly fast. There’s no doubt this place gets busy during peak season. We enjoyed the Spinach Dip and Turkey Wrap. One of our favorite spots to stop while in North Conway.
C C — Google review
My husband and I went to North Conway for our anniversary. Food is my number one thing I want when away! Everyone we talked to highly recommended the muddy moose. We went Friday and Saturday because it was sooo good! The steak was amazing. The chicken Caesar salad also so good. We can’t wait to be back!
Nicole C — Google review
I’ll start with the pros… the staff is friendly and the place is clean. Unfortunately, they miss the mark with the actual food, which is probably the most average to mediocre food we’ve had in a very long time. We really can’t think of a single item that was worth eating. We started with wings as we had been craving some good, crispy buffalo wings. I guess what we got would pass as wings… flabby wings without even a hint of crispness. They were fatty and the sauce maybe had a hint of buffalo flavor but mostly it was just greasy, as though the kitchen staff has never been taught to drain fried foods before serving. The carrots/celery served with the wings were sopping wet, which didn’t help. Ah well, we had higher hopes for our meals, but we were clearly too optimistic as those were not better at all. We got the bbq bacon burger which wasn’t even half eaten because again, the bbq sauce felt and tasted like grease. We also got the bbq chicken bacon sandwich and all that was eaten was the chicken because- you guessed it- everything tasted like grease. Also, how is any restaurant worth its merit sending out burgers and chicken sandwiches on ungrilled buns? I can honestly say that the only enjoyable part of the meal was the pickle that came with the sandwiches. I really don’t know how this place stays in business, but $80 for awful wings and sandwiches (most of which was thrown away) is infuriating. It says to me that the owners don’t care about putting out a quality product and just figure they can overcharge for garbage food because it’s a tourist area. Do yourself favor and don’t waste your money here - you’re better off at McDonald’s.
Sunny D — Google review
Good pub food and an awesome staff. Sitting outside on the deck is nice when weather permits as it's usually very loud inside. There is no view of the mountain range, but it's still a good spot for a bite. We had a key lime encrusted haddock and a cheddar cheeseburger with sweet potato fries.
Corey M — Google review
The place was busy but we did not wait for seating. There was a lot of room and the decor was very interesting. The wait staff was great. Place was nice and clean
Ketteland F — Google review
The Muddy Moose says it all! Great big fireplace and ski lifts with carved animals. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to begin. Excellent! The haddock fish sandwich had a light flavorful breading on it. To finish it off.. the Moose track ice cream. Who doesn't like fudge swirled in ice cream with mini peanut butter cups! YUM! We did share the dessert.

I never write reviews. We’re residents & is by far our family’s favorite place in the North Conway area. Service is always friendly & attentive by the entire staff. At the bar, Sherri make us feel like we just came home every time . Always a smile and a kind word & suggestions on all the great beers on tap. Love Helles Yes. We’ve had Paula multiple times as a server and she always remembers our names and our favorite dishes. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We never leave without having the buffalo tenders and brisket dinner is amazing.

We had a great experience at Moat Mountain Smokehouse & Brewing Co. Our server, Buzz B., was friendly and attentive, which made the meal even better. We started with the BBQ chicken wings and pulled pork sliders—both packed with flavor—and the Cajun fries were the perfect side. My husband ordered the meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and squash, a dish that’s been highlighted in reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommend!

This place is one of my absolute favorite spots, especially in the summer. I come here all the time with my dog, Rosie, and they treat her like part of the family. The staff is incredible — so friendly, kind, and genuine. Today when we stopped in, they even made Rosie her very own burger! She loved it, and it completely made my day. The food is always fantastic, the people are awesome, and the atmosphere is warm, family-friendly, and fun. You can tell everyone who works here really cares about their customers. Rosie and I will keep coming back — they’re simply the best! 🐾🍔❤️

After a one week trip to Portland, Acadia, and NH's White Mountains, we chose to eat two dinners (Tues and Thurs) at Moat Mtn Smokehouse. BOTH dinners we ordered a single entree of bbq meatloaf with mashed taters, mashed butternut squash, and green beans, with a side of their tangy/spicy (for New England) Brussels sprouts between two of us and had more than enough. And we picked up a 4 pack of Moat Mtn Opa's Oktoberfest Marzen. The food and beer were outstanding both nights. And this is from someone that has access to world-class Texas bbq in Houston. We got each meal to go to eat in our room, but the restaurant is located in a cool old historic home. I look forward to more epic meatloaf and sprouts (and of course hiking) on our next White Mtn trip.

We came here for the food! Very gluten conscious, well-labeled, and staff is knowledgeable (all sauces are GF). The ribs were excellent (we housed a full rack). The Santa Fe nachos were amazing. The kids menu was well portioned and was fully finished. They have gluten-free pizza. The beer selection was great. Wonderful server. Will definitely come again,

The combo platter was a masterpiece. Perfect for splitting with a loved one or 1 hungry individual! lol. The Ms. V Blueberry beer was great with the BBQ. The cheese curds were good. Lacked flavor and so did the goat cheese sauce but nothing their house made buffalo sauce couldn’t make better!

Stopped by MOAT Mountain Moat Mountain Smoke House & Brewing Co. in North Conway, NH for a couple pints & a 20oz pour of something seasonal to kick off October. My first time here in a few years I was definitely due to return & check it out for my page. I remember getting a eight piece flight & a BBQ platter last visit, which was all sooo damn good. The place was bumping with the patio completely full & a busy dining room, luckily I was able to score a couple seats at the bar. This place has been in operation since 2000, making it the states oldest Brewpub going over twenty-five years now. I recently had their VALLEY PASTIME IPA during a tasting which was really good & have always been a huge fan of the blueberry fruit beer so I was looking forward to scooping one of those right from the tit. There was a good selection of styles on including lagers, pilsners, browns, IPA's & more, but I went mostly festive with my three beers this visit. 🍻🍻🔥☘🍁 I started off with a pint of the OPA'S OKTOBERFEST Marzen which was a above average, sweet Marzen that was super easy drinking. My second pint was the delicious MS V'S BLUEBERRY Fruit Beer, a favorite of mine anytime I've had it over the years. My third beer of the visit was a 20oz pour of the excellent OMA'S FEST BIER Marzen which was awesome & had a great smooth caramel finish, my favorite of the two seasonal beers I had. 🍻🍻🍻🍁🍁 The restaurant is really large inside with multiple dining rooms & a decently sized bar. There is all the seating options inside with tables, hightops, bar seating & a good size patio area outside. The staff at the bar were all really friendly & I ran into a couple regulars from my previous serving job in Manchester, NH a year or so ago which was nice. The decor inside is fun to look at & there is plenty on the walls to check out. The parking lot was packed, but was big enough to still have no problem getting a spot. There was plenty of beer to go for home or tastings with friends later. Overall a great return trip & I'm sure I'll be making my way back in a few years hopefully for some of that bomb BBQ & more new beers. Cheers! 🍻🔥☘🤘✌♥️🍺 BEERGASM RATING - 80/100 🍻🍻🍻🍆🍆🍆💦💦💦🔥🔥🔥☘☘☘🏆🤘✌♥️🍺 #craftbeer #supportlocal #beerstagram #BeerGoals #untappd #NewHampshire #newengland #newhampshireeats #beer #brewery #brewerylife #bartender #nhbrewed #nhbrewery #food #foodporn #beergasm #foodgasm #drinklocal #eatlocal #wildweekend #burger #IPA #lager #Massachusetts #Vermont #Connecticut #RhodeIsland #Maine #restaurant

Nestled between Whitaker Woods and Memorial Hospital, May Kelly's Cottage is a charming Irish pub in North Conway that exudes an old-world ambiance with its vintage decor. The cozy tavern offers a menu filled with traditional Irish fare, perfect for warming up after a day of outdoor activities. The fully stocked bar can craft any beverage to complement the hearty meals. With its eye-catching yellow exterior, this spot not only offers authentic Irish cuisine but also uses locally sourced ingredients for fresh and flavorful dishes.
This place was so cute! It was not just a restaurant but an experience. It’s a popular spot for the locals I bet. The staff and the front desk were so friendly, inviting. It felt like a family affair! They have a lot of fun vintage stuff to look at while you wait. Food was great too. I got a pie trio but wasn’t a big fan of the chicken pot pie but I loved the Shepherds pie and beef stew. My friends loved their meals and drinks too. Definitely must visit. Just for the experience and amazing food is a plus!

The food was good. Portion sizes are on the larger side. The atmosphere is really cozy and is an ideal place to get farm to table dishes. The only downside in terms of food and beverages is that they don't have cans and have only Pepsi. Although not a real deal breaker but I personally am not a fan of fountain soda. The staff was really welcoming, and food came out fairly quickly. The outside seating is recommended as you get a really beautiful view of Mount Washington.

Have been to North Conway a bunch but never went here. What a cool place! Nice warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Food was also good and a good size portion. Worth a visit on your next trip through!

This is definitely my favorite Irish restaurant/pub and wish it was closer to me. The decor is pretty cool and unique. My family and I enjoyed dining there. The service and food were fantastic. I had an Irish coffee with Bailey's and it was so good I had to have another. For my meal, I did the Irish sampler; 3 bowls consisting of Shepard's pie, beef stew, and pot pie. All were amazing but my favorites were the beef stew then the Shepard's pie. Overall, a great spot for some Irish food and can't wait to go back!

The food was really good. The atmosphere was nice. I would have happier if the waitress had been a little more attentive to our needs. Overall we had a really nice time.

If you are in the Jackson or North Conway, NH area, you have to stop by May Kelly's cottage, particularly the bar area on a Sunday night, where musicians pick up and play, Similar to Scottish musicians at local pubs. Cozy atmosphere and home-cooked meals, and, I am told, good brewskis as well.

We enjoyed dinner here on a weekend past the tourist high season. It was before 6 PM but the dining room was full. We took a high top in the bar area. Service was excellent. I think we have a new favorite restaurant in North Conway.

Cranmore Mountain Resort, located in Conway, New Hampshire, is a popular destination for outdoor activities all year round. In the winter, visitors can enjoy skiing and snow tubing on 56 trails with various levels of difficulty. The resort also hosts winter events for guests to enjoy. During the summer months, the resort transforms into an adventure park offering activities such as summer tubing, giant swing rides, mountain coaster rides, zip lining, and hiking.
What a wonderful mountain resort. It's like you have a winter park with everything to have the best time in the snow. The snow tubing was super fun, and I can't get enough from it.

Winter and summer fun. Plenty of things to do for all ages. The park has plenty of parking. The resort if ever changing with the times. The prices have seem to risen drastically in the last few years, but they are always investing on making the park better. Skiing in the winter with night skiing possible. Tubing. Summer has bike courses, bouncy house, and a alpine slide that goes wicked fast. The alpine slide fits two. Child and adult. There is food on the property. The hotel is nearby and a bike path starts on the property.
Abner B — Google review
I would have loved to of had a go on all of the rides myself, but unforgivable unfortunately didn't have the time. If you're staying at the hotel next door is great to drop the kids off here whilst you do all of the packing and load the car up. The children spent about 3hrs here and loved it, with the mountain coaster being there favourite ride. Plenty of free parking here and very very your tickets slightly cheaper through Groupon.
Steve — Google review
I went here just for the theme park and it was really enjoyable. The mountain coaster was definitely the best with a long track and not too much queuing. The Giant Swing was very fun and all times we went on had almost no queue. Really enjoyed the skilift up to Cranmore Mountain.

This is a nice little place to spend a few hours. The chair lift is peaceful and beautiful. The mountain coaster is a lot of fun, highly recommend. The swing was fun. The waits to ride the rides aren't terrible.

Cranmore Adventure Park: A Monday Full of Motion Cranmore Adventure Park delivered plenty of thrills on my Monday visit. The mountain coaster was the clear standout—fast, smooth, and surrounded by great views. Lines were short, which made it easy to hop from one attraction to the next without much waiting. There were lots of school groups visiting, giving the park an energetic, noisy buzz, though it stayed manageable. A few rides were closed, which limited the options a bit, and food lines dragged on longer than expected. Still, the friendly atmosphere and fun mix of activities made the day worthwhile. If you go, plan to eat early, check the ride schedule ahead of time, and don’t skip the coaster—it’s Cranmore’s crown jewel.

This place is perfect for a visit any season. We went there in the summer and returned in the winter, enjoying both visits a lot. In winter, there's more than just skiing: you can go snow tubing, ride the mountain coaster, try the eagle zip line, or even take a turn on the giant swing. For skiing, they've got three lifts and two magic carpets, making it great for any level of skier. They offer a variety of lessons, including private ones, group classes, and a kids' ski camp. The camp for kids is especially good. It runs from 10 am to 3 pm and includes lunch and snacks. For our kids, the student-to-instructor ratio was 1:1, which was fantastic for learning and fun. We also tried private lessons, which were excellent. The instructors are friendly and make the experience very enjoyable. Just remember, you need to book the camp and group classes at least 48 hours in advance. However, if you're interested in private lessons, you can sign up for those just 24 hours ahead.

The restaurant has become a popular food destination for both locals and visitors, offering high-quality ingredients, including some imported from Italy.
The food was amazing. Fresh ingredients! We were seated at the bar, the only down fall was the service. The bar tender wasn’t the happiest person but we all have our days. Cute and quiet ambiance!

We had high expectations but were disappointed. The food is good but no better than several places within five miles of our suburban Pennsylvania home. It was also very loud; not at all a place you would want to go to to have a conversation.

Stopped in here for the first time for mine and a friend's birthday dinner. We sat at the bar and Herbie our bartender was great. It was very busy but he was still very attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The food we got was very good as was the Tiramisu that I got to-go. Solid first impression. Though the dishes were very expensive I will still definitely return to try something new in the future.

Love this place but hate to say I was so disappointed with my butternut squash raviolis. It was a special for $35 for 6 raviolis. I hate to say I was still hungry when I finished and everyone else hadn’t even finished 1/4th of their meals. Although it was good, 6 raviolis with no protein is unacceptable :(

The perfect place to end our vacation! Outstanding food (even gluten free!), excellent service, an all around fabulous experience! I wish we could remember our waiter’s name (I think it started with an M), as he was excellent and so incredibly attentive to my husband’s gluten allergy as well as my request for a decaf latte. We could tell he really cared about the quality of the food and took the food allergy very seriously. The starter salad had a delicious house dressing, the bread with dipping oil was so good, our entrees were perfect. We also had the flourless chocolate cake which was melt-in-your-mouth amazing and I had a delicious decaf latte. This was honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had anywhere and we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend making a reservation days in advance if you are going during the busy fall season.

Fine dining Italian food. Service was great, didn't feel rushed so they could turn the table. We started with calamari with the banana peppers and a flavorful marinara. My wife had the lasagna and I myself had the chicken florentine with zitti. Both meals came with a side salad. Gilson was our server and was very pleasant and there when you needed him. This was our first visit definitely not our last.

My husband and I ate here for the 1st time tonight . We were seated in the bar after a 40 minute wait (we were told an hour). Literally beautiful bar top made out of copper. The room was cozy. The maple bourbon old fashion was top shelf. I had spaghetti with marinara sauce with Italian sausage ,hubby had ravioli with marinara and a meatball (which was BIG). Absolutely delicious. The complimentary salad , bread &oil were absolutely delicious as well. We got chocolate cake to go and that was yummy. Highly recommend.

Zebs General Store is a quintessential old-fashioned dimestore located in an old yellow porch-front Colonial on Route 16. It exudes a nostalgic charm with its soda fountain, penny-candy counter, and barrels of goods on wooden floors.
Always a fun place to stop at! They got rid of the barrel of pickles, understandably. They have so many different foods that you don’t find at your traditional store. Dried soups, jarred everything almost, soap, kitchen goods, everything. And a candy bar. They have a lot of antiques scattered everywhere too which are fun to look at.

Kind of hard to beat a store that has everything! I had just gotten back in town from a hike and was looking for some souvenirs for my kids....it was 5:55 and they closed at 6! The staff was extremely kind still as me and a handful of other last minute shoppers made our way through the endless aisles of everything. Next time I'm in town, I look forward to carving out an hour of my day to really check this store out. Very unique place!

A must visit if you're in North Conway. It's a vintage style convenience store. They carry all types of items from candies to soaps and more. They also have their own sodas and spreads. It's located in a convenient location with many amenities nearby. We were walking around town and saw this spot. I also read some good reviews about it. It's a large gift shop with many items. A perfect place to buy items for yourselves and as gifts. We bought some candies; I love the penny old school style candies. If you're in the area, definitely worth a stop even though it is a tourist trap.

Nestled in the quaint town of North Conway, New Hampshire, Stonehurst Manor is a luxurious hotel set on 33 acres of picturesque landscape. This historic mansion offers stately rooms with a blend of 19th-century charm and modern amenities. Guests can indulge in the elegant Wild Rose Restaurant, which boasts mountain views and a serene ambiance. The secluded location provides a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty, offering various accommodation options including rooms with fireplaces and Jacuzzis.
We’ve driven past here 1000+ times and finally, for our 31 wedding anniversary, we made reservations. Let me start with the Manor itself. The views are stunning and the building itself is full of old world charm that will not disappoint. We didn’t stay at the inn but just came for dinner and it was spectacular. My wife had the seafood pasta dish named after the restaurant “The Wild Rose” and I had the 18 hour slow roasted prime rib. Both were amazing. Her scallops (that I had to give puppy eyes for her to share) were the most tender, fresh and absolutely delicious scallops I’ve ever had. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was but I recommend you go and try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed, trust me. We are already looking forward to another night at the manor.

This was our second visit to the Stonehurst. We were last there 26 years ago and both visits were great! We read some reviews after we had already booked but decided to still visit. We are glad we did. We stayed in the Manor and our room was nice. The Manor itself is beautiful and it is like stepping back in time. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and breakfast as part of our room fee. The food and Service was great. We look forward to returning and this time we wont wait 26 years...

These guys are absolutely amazing. We were coming in from 4 hours away, and they made sure to leave us a delicious pizza dinner in our room when we arrived late in the night! From the office workers to the servers in their restaurant, nothing but top tier service and VERY friendly encounters. What a relief for a vacation. Not to mention the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming- they have a couple beautiful fireplaces they have running, perfect for reading and relaxing near. To top it off, their menu does not disappoint in the slightest, everything is delicious and looks so high class. This is our first wedding anniversary and we’re probably going to find more excuses in the future to return here 👌🏽

Stay the week of oct 10. Have stay there many times and allway s had a great time. This time all the meals were just warm or not cook, the drinks took forever to get and very weak, the room had two chairs under the TV had to move them next to the bed it was like frist row in a movie theater. The good thing the staff was allways friendly and helpful. There no safety rails most of the guess are elderly and to many stairs. The rooms are just to out dated.

My wife and I returned for a longer stay this year, and for good reason. If you desire an elegant boutique hotel with the charm of a bed and breakfast, you'll want to highly consider The Stonehurst Manor. Our four-night August visit was delightful and served as an excellent base for enjoying the White Mountains. A standout feature is that breakfast and dinner (soup or salad & entree) are included. Both meals were thoughtfully prepared and tasted superb. The Library Lounge offers an intimate setting for your pre- and post-dinner beverages. In addition, sitting in the Adirondack Chairs and enjoying the beauty of the Presidential Range left us both speechless. Beyond that, the entire staff was truly outstanding; everyone made an extra effort to ensure guests were happy and enjoying their time. We eagerly anticipate our next visit! Thank you for a memorable stay and helping us celebrate 32 years of marriage!

My husband and I come here once a year and we absolutely love it. Rooms are beautiful and the breakfast and dinner at the Wild Rose is always delicious! We will see you next year! Thank you for a wonderful October 2025 stay!

I discovered this manor several years ago and fell in love with it. I have been coming here for years. The accommodations are wonderful. All the rooms are unique and breakfast and dinner is included. The Wild Rose Restaurant is excellent. The only draw back to staying in this Manor is there is no elevator. I have watched several individuals who have respiratory distress, on O2 or have hip problems struggle with negotiating the stairs. The first set of stairs are wide enough for the Manor to install a stair chair lift which would assist people who have difficulty. I still rate the manor with 5 stars because for me, it's the place I want to stay in North Conway.
JG — Google review
We were beyond excited for our autumn leaf-peeping road trip through New England — and especially for our stay at Stonehurst Manor, which was advertised as a luxurious, historic manor house with charm and elegance. What we got instead was an outright scam: a glorified MOTEL, charging luxury prices, and delivering a completely subpar, completely unacceptable experience. Let’s start with the “room.” This was not a manor house experience — it was a basic, outdated motel room with some nicer wallpaper. When I say “glorified,” I mean pure lipstick on a pig. No amenities. Not even a coffee maker or hot water kettle — something even a $60 roadside motel provides. The beds were soft and sagging!!! The bathroom was shockingly small with zero counter space for toiletries, and the door screeched so loudly every time it opened — like nails on a chalkboard. That was just the beginning. At 2:00 a.m. our first night, the smoke detector malfunctioned — strobe lights flashing and loud beeping in the middle of the night. The front desk claimed the fire department called them & staff told them it a false alarm, but no one ever came to check on us, reset the alarm, or offer any assistance. I had to get out of bed and dismantle it myself. When we reported it the next morning, they said maintenance would fix it. What did they do? Just put the cover back on. Guess what happened again at midnight the next night? Same strobe light, same obnoxious beeping, same sleepless night. Absolutely outrageous. Housekeeping was equally nonexistent. After a full day of travel, we came back to find our beds unmade and dirty, wet towels still sitting in the bathroom. Nothing had been touched. When I called the front desk to ask if they had housekeeping , I was told — and I quote — “If we have someone available. It’s been a busy day.” This is a hotel charging $450 a night?! I’ve had better service at roadside inns off the highway. They eventually brought us clean towels, which we appreciated, but honestly — the Stonehurst Manor is a joke!!! . Now let’s talk about the food. The lobster bisque was hands down the worst I’ve ever tasted — watery, flavorless, and bizarrely seemed to have ground pork in it? Completely inedible. The salad was fine, but my main dish — scallops — came out burned to a crisp. Not over-seared, not slightly charred — burned. Like black, dry, and rubbery. To serve a meal like this shows the complete lack of caring about their quality or reputation!!! This place is a masterclass in false advertising. The photos and descriptions suggest an upscale, charming manor house experience. What they’re actually offering is a no-frills motel stay with incompetent service and overpriced, poorly executed food. Stonehurst Manor is not just disappointing — it’s blatantly misleading, unprofessional, and shockingly overpriced for what you actually get. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. Do yourself a favor: avoid this place at all costs.

Water & Amusement Parks
Kahuna Laguna Indoor Water Park, located at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort in North Conway, is a year-round destination offering 40,000 square feet of aquatic fun. Recognized as one of the top indoor water parks in the country, it features a wave pool, four high-speed slides, water basketball and volleyball activities, and an interactive play area with a 70-gallon tipping bucket.
Great family experience! I was impressed overall by the staff, the facility, and how much fun the kids had. It is a little bit expensive but it felt like we got what we paid for! The staff -the front desk, the life guards, and the kitchen staff were all very friendly and understood they were working in a place that was frequented by young kids, very welcoming The facility -lockers are included in the price, towels are also readily available, large changing rooms (well heated) , family bathroom with changing table, and showers/soap in the bathrooms as well, everything was well maintained and clean. There are a good amount of tables, chairs, food court area tables. The cafe is a little expensive but the pizza was really good and fed our group of 7 no problem. The fun -my kids ended up staying five hours and played the entire time! There is a large hot tub, a play adventure area with large dumping bucket and two small water slides, a toddler area with swings and water slides, two large tube slides, two body slides, a wave pool, a basketball water court, and a jet sprayer area. It’s enough stuff to be a good mix but not overwhelming It wasn’t packed either, we never waited in line and my kids did the water slides dozens of times! We will definitely be coming back!

This place is amazing! They have stuff for infants up through adults. My kids loved it and I ha e to say I really enjoyed it too. We stayed from 11:30 until 7:30. The wave pool is a huge hit! **Just a tip for someone with a little one like my four year old that wants to enjoy the wave pool, but it's too rough.** Go to the basketball area! The waves go over there but are super gentle and only goes up to 3 feet! It was perfect!

Came here as birthday party guest. 2 year old celebration. Nice small water park for my toddlers first time. She enjoyed the wave pool, big water bucket and mini slides. You can bring your own food or buy from a food stand, - frozen pizza, tenders, fries act. Very packed on this Saturday. Not enough seating, we couldn’t find a place to put our things down for the first 20 mins. Overall fun time.

What a great place to spend a few hrs on some water slides and in a hot tub! My husband and I saw this indoor Waterpark online and decided to stop in while on our anniversary. It is family friendly, but I wasn't sure how I'd feel being an adult with no kids going here. I LOVED the water slides as they were fast, but not too much to be scary. My hubby and I must have gone down 6-10 times, sometimes double-tubing, some times single.
Vanessa D — Google review
My kids loved this place! We were pleasantly surprised at how fun this waterpark is. It has something for everyone. The slides were thrilling yet not over the top or scary, there were various types of slides, some you can go down without a tube, some you go down with a tube individually or paired up. The wave pool produced nice, strong waves, the water was very clean. Plenty of seats available for everyone. We especially liked the basketball pool and even the outdoor pool was massive, warm and delightful. There were various areas for younger kids and non-swimmers as well. We had lunch there and the food was actually pretty good. Overall, the pricing was very fair and worth the time there. Dare I say my kids prefer Kahuna Laguna over Great Wolf?!
Cx D — Google review
Very attentive lifeguards. Reasonably priced and open late! Plenty of food, snack, beverage items available as well as any miscellaneous swim gear you may need. Staff were friendly and amicable. My kids didn’t have to wait more than a few seconds for the slides. Pool water seemed clean and fresh. Lockers were inexpensive and easy to access. Large bathroom area and showers available as well. We almost went for a second night but we will definitely be back soon!

My friend and I went on Wednesday. There were no lines for the water slides. We stayed for 4 hours. We had a blast going from wave pool, to basketball, slides, jacuzzi, and of course we waited for the big bucket to dump water on us. We did have to pay for a locker, which was 5 more dollars. The pizza was pretty good and the fries were amazing. We are definitely going again.

American restaurant
Brewpub
Barley & Salt, Tap House and Kitchen is a charming pub offering a diverse menu with global flavors and an impressive selection of 30 craft beers on tap. The restaurant takes you on a culinary journey around the world, featuring American classics like wings and meatloaf alongside Vietnamese Pho and Korean Tacos. Located near the Settlers Green outlets in North Conway, it also showcases a rotating menu of craft beers from New England and Canada.
10/25 - In the area as part of a NE bus trip, this was our choice for supper and don't regret it one bit. Fantastic draft list but unusual ordering policy of only 2 - 4 oz pours at a time. Wife had the pecan crusted salmon and loved it. I had the shepherd pie which was truly shepherd pie as it was made with lamb, not ground beef / one of the best I've had. Too stuffed to move, we ordered the pecan bourbon tart & couldn't stop till it was gone. Places this good are hard to find , but as a testament to this one, it was packed on a Wednesday night.

We dine at Barley & Salt every year when we come to N. Conway for our timeshare. Food option in this area are not very strong but this restaurant typically delivers. They have a unique menu and usually offer a good variety of dishes. Their wings are excellent, we had the salt and vinegar flavor. We also had the street corn pork sandwich, pork tacos and tofu lo mein. Everything was good but not great. The bread was a little stale and tacos were fine. We did clear our plates so maybe I’m being too critical. They have a large tap beer and alcohol menu with great decor, good music and outdoor seating. Definitely worth a trip if you’ve never been but it is a tad pricey.

The staff were quite nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is open and spacious, with a modern clean, decoration. The food was good, not great. We had salt & vinegar wings these were great! The best dish we had of the day. Hot (temp not spice) crispy wings with a pickled onion on top, sprinkled with salt, fantastic! Calamari looked pretty, the flavors were great, especially the unsuspecting cilantro; however, they were cold and a tad bit mushy... hot and crisp would have made a huge difference. We got a kids chicken quesadilla, it was cold, a tad too spicy for kids, and it had no sides like sour cream. The beet salad was good, lots of beets, and the lettuce was nice and crunchy perfect pairing, soft beats and crunchy lettuce; visual appearance could be a bit better. The final item we got was the Thai tacos... visually pretty, however the texture left me completely unsure if I was liking it or not. The ratio of crunchy cabbage (which i think should have been on top) and mushy meat was not equal... I wanted more crunch and less mush. All and all the staff and wings made the night! Even with the cold food, I would go back for another try. maybe it was an off night.

Barley & Salt was a really nice surprise—our food came out hot and packed with flavor. The portions were just right, enough to fill you up without overdoing it. The wings weren’t your typical bar-style wings, but they were still tasty—I just think a little note on the menu would help set expectations. Since it’s in such a popular shopping area, the place definitely gets busy, so I’d recommend grabbing a reservation if you’re going for lunch or dinner. It is a bit on the expensive side, but honestly, everything we had was worth it.
Andrew — Google review
It was a decent dinner experience. We got a table after 15 min on the waitlist. The shrimp and scallop pesto rigatoni was excellent. The Thai coconut chicken tacos were just okay, I didn’t taste any distinct Thai flavor or coconut flavor. Drinks were great. Excellent service with attentive hostess and waitress.
Amy L — Google review
Went here with my daughter son in law and granddaughter for lunch. The food was good. We had lobster roll no fries or side included, pulled pork tacos added a side of fries, haddock tacos no fries included and kids cheeseburger with fries. 4 alcoholic beverages, a soda and a chocolate milk. $157.00 for lunch with no sides included is a little outrageous. The service was great! Thanks Dakota for being great!
Adrian H — Google review
My favorite stop on our trip! The atmosphere was excellent. Kind of buried in a shopping area, but the facility was very nice. Plenty of parking, didn't wait to get a seat. Service was fast and friendly. We just went for appetizers and some adult beverages. Neither one disappointed! The Widowmaker was excellent, as was the pretzel and fries! Would highly recommend as will be back for sure next time we are in the area!

We’ve been here several times. Always a great meal. The loaded calamari is a must have if you like calamari. It’s not like any other calamari. Super tender. It’s perfect.

Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
Pizza delivery
Elvio's Pizzeria & Restaurant is a long-standing, independently owned pizzeria in North Conway. They take pride in making hand-tossed, made-to-order pizzas baked on stone decks using high-quality ingredients like sun-baked Italian or California tomatoes, mozzarella, whole milk, and high protein flour. The restaurant also offers outdoor picnic tables for a casual dining experience. Their menu includes a variety of pies, calzones, and sandwiches to cater to different tastes.
We stopped by LVO‘s for a late lunch after visiting Diana’s bath in North Conway, New Hampshire. We had three elementary school age kids so Pizza was the request. Everything was clean and orderly on the inside. Service was prompt at the counter when we went to order. Preis was on the expensive side, but of course since this is a tourist town, we weren’t surprised. Our pepperoni pizza came out hot and fresh and the dough was then and cooked to perfection. One of our party also had a cold cut wrap which was wrapped in pizza dough. It was delicious. A helpful hint is to buy a 2 L bottle of soda for about four dollars rather than getting a smallish maybe 16 ounce And soda for over three dollars. They will give you a cup of ice. We sat outside at the picnic tables we had umbrellas, which helped keep us cool since it was rather warm and humid.
Michelle T — Google review
The food is average at best, greasy thin as paper slices with bland cheap peperoni, the service is terrible. It took them close to 10 minutes to even acknowledge I was standing there to order. They got an item in my order wrong I tried to call them from the hotel room after 23 minutes on hold I finally gave up. Never going back honestly can't recommend this place to anybody. The only thing that's got going for it is it closes at 9:00 p.m. supposedly although I can't verify because they don't answer the phone after 8:00 p.m.. almost every other pizza place in town closes earlier. If you're coming to Conway do yourself a favor and get a room with a kitchenette because most of the food here is not fit for a stray dog.

In a search for good pizza here in the valley I have heard mixed reviews and decided to give it a try. There is plenty of parking and places to eat outside which is a plus. Inside is clean and neat, a plus! They were super busy as it was dinner time on a Friday night. Walked right up to the counter placed the order for a large pizza and yes thank god it is hand tossed dough. They told us it would be about 45 minutes. We sat inside, good AC even with all the pizzas being ordered and cooked. About 30 minutes later we had our pizza. The crust was perfect, thin and crispy! The pizza itself had great flavor. So nice to finally find a pizza place in the valley that has good pizza, hand tossed dough and a reasonable price. I will definately be back.

We had two slices of the Carol Anne, which was just about the most delicious white pizza I've ever had! Very garlicky and just wonderful! The atmosphere is about what you'd expect from a small pizza joint that has more take-out business than sit-down business, but clean and pleasant. They had a bunch of prepared foods to take away (packages of salads, stuffed peppers, etc.). The one problem we had was that we also ordered Buffalo boneless chicken tenders, and got wings instead (and we were in too much of a hurry to ask to exchange them; they were made fresh). The wings were quite good but not what we had planned on. (The person who had taken our order seemed to be just going on shift, or maybe filling in for someone, and hadn't seemed to be entirely clear on how to do everything.) We *loved* the pizza and will come back here when we're next in the area! We'll just make sure to check the receipt right away to catch any errors.

A friend gave us an Elvio's pizza - and we had to go there and get more! The employees are exceptional - so friendly, helpful and kind. Love the ramp they have built in the front. Not many businesses are making sure they're this accessible. Pizza was fantastic. Got tiramisu too. All to go. A very efficient and very excellent experience.
Rachel D — Google review
Had a to-go order while I was in the area. Their cheese pizza brought me back to childhood. This is how pizza should taste. Also had the Carol Anne, which was phenomenal. One of the best places I've had pizza from in a long time!
Jameson E — Google review
Our last night here in New Hampshire we decided to have something easy so we ordered Pizza. We ordered take out and we were told 30-45min and that’s fine it was a Saturday night we expected it to be busy. When we get there it’s very busy and many people are ordering. We got there about 40 after we called and it was almost ready they said no big deal. Well we continued to wait another 30+ minutes just to find out our food had been ready and now was barley warm. The guy cutting the pizza kept arguing with other people. Was kinda akward with a room filled with guests. But for the pizza it was good. The amount of topping on the pizza was great! Overall, it wasn’t bad. The food was good just not the best service.
Johnny P — Google review
I typically distaste negative reviews. But wow, from the online orders not even being processed until the person arrives to pickup, the lack of any type of organization from front or back of house to the actual taste or lack there of any, don't do it. I ordered pasta with ziti and meatballs. Sauce had zero flavor, garlic bread was gross and the onion rings were just a soggy mess of oil. Not to mention the poor DOOR DASH lady I witnessed, customer ordered online at 5pm, driver arrived to pickup at 6pm. They said the order would be ready in an hour as they were slammed ( they weren't), then 30 minutes goes by, doordash has her customer on speaker, she asks about how long and is told another 45 minutes. Poor door dash lady not getting a tip from her customer because this place asks her to wait 2 hours from her customers order time. And the food is, well I have had better from a gas station.

Coffee shop
Frontside Coffee Roasters is a popular choice for a coffee break while exploring downtown North Conway. The place can get quite busy, especially on weekends, so be prepared for potential wait times. While some visitors may not consider it the absolute best in terms of coffee and pastries, many still find it to be good enough to revisit. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it an inviting spot for a leisurely afternoon tea or coffee session.
Super friendly staff. Got a latte and it was good as expected. My wife had the maple cream coffee which she liked. Not too strong of a coffee flavor if you prefer sweeter drinks. Worth stopping by.
Amadeu C — Google review
Frontside Coffee Roasters is a cozy and inviting café located right in the heart of a historic street. It instantly gives off a warm, local charm, and the quality of the coffee matches the atmosphere — smooth, rich, and satisfying. The café consists of two distinct buildings: the main customer area right by the road and a second space, likely used for roasting and production. It’s always a great sign when a coffee shop roasts its own beans — and this place definitely looks like one of those. You can almost feel the freshness in every cup. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with different zones catering to all kinds of visitors. There are spots for remote workers with laptops, and separate cozy corners for friends catching up. The outdoor patio is a real highlight — perfect for starting the day or enjoying a sunny afternoon. Overall, Frontside Coffee Roasters stands out not just for its coffee, but for how well it adapts to the needs of its community. Whether you’re working, chatting, or just pausing for a great cup — this is the kind of coffee shop you hope to find in every town.
Dmitriy M — Google review
When my wife repeatedly told me this is the best coffee shop she’s ever been too all you can do is take it with a grain of salt and reluctantly go check it out. Once I did I told her she was wrong but of course she was right! What a great find, the coffee is really good and we loved the maple cream coffee, I had it iced. The lox bagel was on point too! Great bagel and great flavors. I have to say, I did a great job finding this place! Can’t wait to tell my wife about it.
Huibertjan F — Google review
$$$ Definitely on the pricey side. The atmosphere felt a bit staged or artificial, but the staff was super friendly ~~ when I dropped my bagel, they replaced it without hesitation, which I really appreciated! The coffee tasted a bit too bitter, almost like the beans weren’t fully developed. On the bright side, there was plenty of seating available.

Stopped by to rest our feet and backs. Had plain coffee and an iced latte w honey- I am not a coffee drinker but it was all about new experiences during our trip. It was strong and not sweet but two Splendas later and I was perking up. It's a nice, quiet space- I'm not going to go on about how nice everyone was cause we are nice to people and therefore they respond in kind. You gotta give to get.
Maria P — Google review
Im very picky with my coffees and lattes and their iced pumpkin spiced latte was AMAZING. I asked for “not too sweet”/less syrup, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Every sip was wonderful and perfectly blended. I highly recommend to get your coffee/latte here if you’re in N Conway!

Echo Lake State Park is a picturesque 118-acre haven located just west of town, nestled between the Marshall Conservation Area and Dianas Baths. This charming park features a serene trail that meanders around the lake, perfect for leisurely strolls while soaking in stunning views of Cathedral Ledge and Whitehorse Ledge. In the summer months, swimming becomes a popular activity here, complemented by ample picnic areas equipped with tables and charcoal grills—ideal for family gatherings or relaxing afternoons by the water.
Am a local to the state of NH about 1.5hr drive from this beautiful place Will recommend Will return I have state park plates so I went to New Hampshire State Parks website and made a reservation for this particular day in Wood State Park plates you pay one dollar which is your processing fee Without state Park plates, the entry fee is eight dollars per car I recommend making reservations on the website rather than just rolling up in person. They do have a large parking lot, but it seems to fill very quickly. The beach is very family oriented. You can rent canoes. You can rent kayaks. You can rent paddle boats. The fees are very reasonable. They have tubes. You can also purchase for a small fee of six dollars. The beach was not overcrowded. They have many hiking trails and areas around that area as well. They have charcoal grills that you can use up off the beach with some grassy area that you could also camp at. There is also a bathhouse there that’s open as well as a small store There are no lifeguards it’s a swim at your own risk

Beautiful little state park with a small entrance fee. We hiked Bryce trail up to Cathedral ledges. It was an intense uphill in several spots. Would recommend a hiking stick for older knees. Fantastic views. Found out you can drive up also once we got there. We didn't make it over to the White horse ledges, but I assume it's similar views.
Mel C — Google review
This place made me feel like a pro hiker. I went there with my husband and we are supposed to be walking around the lake but then we end up climbing to the top of White horse Ledge. And take not I am not a hiker I am just a beginner but it’s worth it. Maybe they have to make the trail signs more clearer as we almost got lost because some trees fell down and it made us confused. But aside from that we made it to the top.
Lynn P — Google review
Great for kids, beautiful park. Sun and shade. Picnic tables, grills, handicap accessible. Great views of cathedral ledge and mountain climbers climbing up it. Bring binoculars! And enjoy the day.
Richard B — Google review
Beautiful lake with the backdrop of hill. We went on a windy day yet had a lot of fun. There is place to grill, so BYO grilling stuff. No wood burning is permitted. It is trash in and trash out so I suggest brining trash bags if you are picnicking. Bring hiking shoes as the hiking is steep.
Radha T — Google review
What a beautiful spot! You have to make a reservation on the holiday weekends at least. I pulled the car over and was able to get in that day. You can fish here - my son didn't catch anything but we were only there for an hour. It's a picture perfect place. Cost us 11$ for two adults and one child. They have clean restroo.s and even a gift shop! All the staff were extremely friendly which added to our great time!
Desiree M — Google review
Very nice lake to take the kids to swim. Unfortunately, it’s useless to try and fish there. Spent 5 hours with not even a bite. As we were leaving, the guard explained that it is no longer stocked and is spring fed which is not a place you can trout fish. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful view.
Jr A — Google review
I feel weird rating a park 4 stars, because I know how hard people (employees as well as volunteers) work to keep trails clear, clean, etc. We hiked the white horse ledge trail and it was a great hike, great views. I wish it was better marked, we took a few wrong turns from the start and had to really keep a close watch for the next blaze. I also wish someone could relocate the bee's nest on the trail, or perhaps just mark it well and provide a way around it. I got stung a half dozen times before we got past it, and my dog too.

Tuckerman Brewing, a family-owned brewery located in Conway, offers a variety of beers including an altbier, pale ale, and the popular 688 Stout. The spacious tap room features a curved bar and industrial chic decor where visitors can sample new beers, enjoy live music, and socialize with friends. The brewery also hosts tours for those interested in learning about the beer-making process.
Awesome selection of quality beer in a beautiful venue. Comfortable, cozy and a nice and spacious outdoors area too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fully recommend. Don't hesitate to stop by. Pizza was delicious too (a tad pricey, but you have to stay in business, and we weren't disappointed). We left happy and eager to return! Top-notch brewery in the region.

We first found this gem back when there was nothing but a muddy path to a back door into a tiny room with a few picnic tables. There were more people at CrossFit than were in the brewery, how times have changed! Perhaps the best collection/variety of beer in NH, Tuckerman Brewing always satisfies! The Pale Ale and Rockpile IPA are by far my favorite, my wife loves the Kolsch. Whenever we make the trip over from the Lakes region we always stop in.

Large brewery with plenty of space to relax, whether you prefer sitting outside on Adirondack chairs or hanging out inside. They’ve been serving up great food, beer, and wine since 1998. Always a great place to unwind!
Crystal G — Google review
This place is great. I'm on the typical family vacation to North Country with two children ages 4 & 6 so I wanted a spot that was casual. We stopped by for some pizza for dinner and a few drinks. Plenty of choices for both! First, the pizza was excellent. We could have opted for the many choices of toppings but stuck with cheese because of our children. It didn't matter because it was delicious. Good amount of sauce to cheese ratio. We also opted for the pretzels which came with FOUR different dipping options. The pretzel was soft, flavorful and so good that we didn't share it with our children even though we could since the portion size was large enough. The beer selection was also a wonderful treat. Plenty of options for all types of beer drinkers. We wanted a flight, but since we were sitting outdoors we couldn't have glass outdoors which is what the flight is served in. But no problem! Our bartender poured into a plastic cup instead of glass and even labeled the cups with a sticky note! That was awesome because it meant we didn't need to expose other guests to our almost feral children who were enjoying the outside. The Kolash, Summer Pilsner, Wild River, Spice Protocol and Lime after Lime were each unique and full of robust flavor. The atmosphere was fantastic. Casual, professional staff, spotless and clean from the floors to table to bathrooms, plenty of merch and to go beer. The inside space was spacious and large. Plenty of seating at a variety of levels from high top, to low top and full Bavarian style long tables. We opted for the outside space since our children could run and run for yards and yards. It was a fenced in space, open and there were plenty of chairs and tables for two parents to sit and watch their heathens run around without disrupting anyone or anything. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to stop for a place to eat!
Patrick M — Google review
Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The food is limited but good. Plenty of drink choices. We had pumpkin slushies which were way too strong. It’s a recipe in progress. The live bands are a bonus and are great.

Sher F — Google review
This place was jam packed! Super busy (heard from some of the regulars it was the busiest they have seen it) yet the staff were all on point, serving up some delicious beers and food. We did not have time for food unfortunately but the beer was excellent. Service, also excellent. It was a rainy day so we didn't get to experience the outside area much but what a great little spot to relax and enjoy. The band that was playing was great fun and entertaining. First time I have been to the new location. I visited the old location several years ago and what a blast.

Place was packed for Saint Patrick's husband and sons band were performing there. Liked the selection of beers that they have and their pizza was really good. Would like to go back up in the Summer to hang outside in their lawn area. The beer slushy was really good.

Shoulder Park is a little park set in the heart of North Conway, NH. There is a great playground for little ones, and lots of open space for playing or relaxing. We were there for 4th of July and there was a band and vendors. There are generally public restrooms but for this large event there were port a potties. The location is right by the Conway Scenic Railway with easy access to enjoy a train ride and right within the shopping area with lots of fun sores and eating establishments. The only drawback is sometimes lack of parking, but I've always managed to make it work.

When visiting North Conway, don't miss out on the fun at UberBlast, a family-friendly entertainment center offering laser tag, mini golf, arcade games, and ski ball. Located conveniently on the main strip, it's easy to overlook but worth a visit for both kids and adults. The arcade may be small but it exudes nostalgia with its cheap prizes and classic games. The outdoor bounce house area and mini-golf provide more opportunities for enjoyment.
Kids had so much fun we visited twice! Prices are very reasonable across the board. The arcade still uses tokens and gives tickets which the kids loved! Lasertag was the perfect size for 4-8 people to play. Mini golf course was also pretty cool. It was the same gentleman at the counter both days and I am not sure if he is the owner but he's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

I thought this place would have a much more exciting golf course with attractions and obstacles at each hole. The arcade inside is very small and only has a few games to play that give you tickets that you turn in for prizes. You're lucky if you end up with enough for a mini tootsie roll.
Kristin — Google review
In agreement with most of the other reviews on this one. The course is a bit older, but well maintained. The patches take away from the astetic, but not the play at all.The wife, kids and I went and played mini golf. Then the girls played laser tag. Very affordable, and the man behind the counter was the nicest guy you could ask for. I would absolutely come here again!! If you are thinking about it, do it.

Really fun course, wish the water was working for part of the course.

I have gone here on my North Conway vacations for 40+ years and go here every year! Mini golf is fun! Small arcade has some classics and new machines, nice mix. And has ticket games for kids to win prizes. Laser Tag also there and was alot of fun! Great little place with just enough to do to fill an afternoon with family and friends!

Located in North Conway, New Hampshire, the New England Ski Museum is a satellite location of the original museum in Franconia. The museum showcases the rich history of skiing in the region through early videos, posters, ski equipment, and clothing. It also delves into personal stories of influential figures like Hannes Schneider.
Stayed in North Conway for a couple of weeks as a base to the surrounding mountains. Visited the museum which was fantastic. Loved the afternoon there. Viewed all the exhibits and memorabilia. Wasn't asked to make any donations however found many things I was interested in and purchased accordingly. Was also able to provide some information the staff really appreciated. Fantastic venue and encourage everyone to visit.

I admit, I'm a ski fanatic...I could spend hours in that back library looking at all the old books and magazines spaning the last 75 or more years of skiing. If you are a skier and traveling through the area, this is a great little museum to spend an hour or two. Lots of interesting stuff. We really enjoyed it!
Chris W — Google review
Awesome Museum! Knowledgeable and friendly staff/volunteers.. Interesting information and changing exhibits and free admission and stickers but asks for donations. New exhibit I found very interesting about Annalee dolls. I knew they were made in NH but I didn’t know the creator made a series of Annalee dolls showcasing the NH skiing industry. Lots of historical information here well worth the visit. Takes 1/2-1 hour to go through.
J D — Google review
A small museum but super cute and educational! And entry is free!
Sarah L — Google review
Cute little museum worth a quick stop. It's free but they suggest a $5 donation. My favorite part was all the old skis lined up next to each other. Cool to see some of the historic ski equipment. They require face coverings still.
Justine V — Google review
Small but well-done museum of the history of skiing in New Hampshire. Located in the center of North Conway adjacent to Schuyler Park. Exhibits with good signage. I was there for a memorial gathering and so did not explore the gift shop or a room which appeared to hold research and historic materials. There are restrooms at the rear of the building, accessible from a door on the outside. On-street parking only.

Veno's Specialty Foods & Meats is a must-visit for meat lovers and those who enjoy grilling. The quality of their meats, especially the moat steak tips, is exceptional. The staff are incredibly helpful and enthusiastic about sharing grilling tips and recipes. It's a one-stop shop for all your grilling needs, offering not only meats but also beer, wine, veggies, cheese, crackers, jams, and even grills.
This store is excellent! We bought from here for dinner at our nearby campsite 2 separate nights. The marinated steak tips and chicken were delicious! I especially appreciate the diligence with labeling in the store. All of the marinated meats at the counter are labeled with ingredients and gluten free indicators when applicable. This is essential for us because my wife cannot eat gluten. They also had signage with info about their suppliers -- no mystery meats here!

A great spot, got more items than we expected too, but everything looked too good not to. As someone who is DF I really appreciate the proper labeling of items, and full ingredients list. Super friendly service, and clean welcoming atmosphere.

The North Conway Grand Hotel is a cozy retreat in North Conway, offering a range of amenities for guests to enjoy. The hotel features both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a spa where visitors can relax with massages and facials. Situated near Settlers Green and boasting picturesque mountain views, the hotel provides easy access to the area's attractions, including Settlers' Green Outlet Village and Conway Scenic Railway.
By far the cleanest Hotel I've seen. This place had a lot of thought into its design and layout. A Spa on lower level, Indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor pool and jacuzzi, movie room, bar, restaurant, breakfast, 10 meters from shopping, arcade games. The ID plans on this during design took a lot of time and thought. Great job here. Our room had complimentary bottle water, robes for everyone including kids and slippers. I can't explain how clean it was.. the staff were great as well. Breakfast was a buffet, make your own waffles was a nice touch. We have stayed in a lot of places in NC... this place deserves a 5 star rating.
Kevin P — Google review
The hotel rooms are dated, and the beds were very firm and uncomfortable. Bathroom was small and no vent. The walls offered little sound insulation, we could clearly hear conversations and television from the neighboring room. After reporting the noise issue, the front desk attendant was kind and provided breakfast vouchers, which we appreciated. Breakfast service itself was friendly and efficient, but the food quality could use major improvement (especially the eggs and coffee). Overall, while the staff tried to be accommodating, the value just wasn’t there. For the $539 per night rate (plus fees) in Oct, this felt more like a $200 experience. I wouldn’t stay here again unless significant updates are made.
Maria P — Google review
Stayed the last 2 nights. Hotel has a lot of amenities and the staff is nice. Good location. The HVAC in our room was so noisy we had to leave something leaning against it to stop the banging. The next night it would only blow hot air and the room was 82 degrees. Bathrooms are very dated and could use some maintenance. The spigot for the sink wasn’t attached to anything. They still have those 70’s clothes lines in the shower. I come up Frequently for work and have stayed at a bunch of places, the Grand was not our favorite.
Wendy H — Google review
Over all the best stay I have ever had. Let start with how nice the staff is Patrick was so sweet. Our first time but he told us about all the amenities spa was top notch. They have old movies and cards that you can borrow from the front desk. Pools are warm and really it’s a hot tub out doors.
Careen P — Google review
My family had a really good experience with the service. The guy at the front desk was very kind and helpful. We had to change rooms because the heating system wasn’t working, and he assisted us right away. The new room was nice, and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
Sarah S — Google review
Micheal at the front desk was really kind and made us feel welcome immediately. We were able to check in early and thankful for the nap we could take. The king bed was comfy. It’s kind of a wintery vibe and worked well for us.
Lesley W — Google review
I left a small ziploc baggie in my room after I checked out. It was filled with my husband's ashes whom died 3 weeks ago. For 30 years we have gone to North Conway at least 6 times a year with our 2 children and family. I was spreading my beloved husband's ashes around the special places that we frequented. The hotel staff found my husband's ashes and accused me of being a drug addict! They called the police, confiscated my husband's ashes, and automatically charged my debit card $500!!! Before I was even contacted about the situation! I was automatically accused/charged for something that wasn't what they disrespectfully thought. I guess at the Home2 Hilton you're accused, charged, and automatically guilty until proven innocence! To be continued.....
Cheryl V — Google review
North Conway Grand Hotel? There is nothing “grand” about it. We were charged a $27 resort fee for a pool we never saw and a parking lot that isn’t even striped. That alone tells you the priorities here. The room was flat-out dirty. Bathroom floor and toilet base were grimy Sink was cracked and ancient AC unit filthy and dusty Stains and splatters on the wall Everything felt old, neglected, and just gross This place is worn out and poorly run. It needs a serious renovation and deep cleaning before they should be charging anyone premium rates — let alone “resort fees.” We expected a nice stay and got a rundown, dirty room instead. Save your money. Look elsewhere. Buyer beware.

Great property, even better staff and service. The included breakfast is to-order with local farm to table options, everything is delicious. Rooms are clean and modern, maybe a bit on the smaller side. Nice golf course. A doable hike from a path adjacent to the property that gets you to echo lake in 10 minutes or less. Will be back!!!

We had an outstanding stay at white mountain! From the quality of the room, to the staff, the food was amazing! Do yourself a favor and try the crab cakes. All lump crab meat, no fillers! Fantastic! Then I had the steak. I cut it with a fork. And the bar staff were fun and attentive. I can't say enough about our stay. Can't wait to go back.

Rooms are clean and well-kept but outdated about 10 years. TVs have basic cable only, no option for on-demand or smart-TV apps like Netflix etc. Bizarre protocol to select limited time slots for breakfast, or otherwise pay per person for brunch. Again, beautiful and clean hotel, but policies and amenities are not up with the times. Would seek other accommodations for our next trip up north.

For over two decades now my wife and pups have called this resort our favorite Valley rest and relaxation destination! One of stays usually occurs during the fourth holiday weekend. This year was no exception! Imagine viewing North Conway’s fireworks from the comfort of your own semi-private lawn! Through the years, our pups have been satisfied members of the Bed and a Bone Club. Yep, this resort prides themselves on being truly dog friendly! There’s plenty of scenic trails on-site and nearby. Do Rover a favor and skip the cramped smelly kennel this year and bring ‘em along! The staff is always been attentive, darn right friendly and accommodating! The cliff side location is breathtaking and conducive to full relaxation mode. The resort recently went through a multi-million dollar renovation. With these spectacular upgrades in place, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better home base in the Valley! Oh yeah, the on-site restaurant and tavern serve up tasty creations with incredible mountain views! In summary, the White Mountain never disappoints!
Jason B — Google review
This place is an absolute joke. Paper-thin walls/floors/ceilings, you can literally hear everything around you like you're renting a cut-rate apartment from a slumlord. The mugs and glasses in the guest pantry area are absolutely disgusting. I found two in a row that had lipstick on them. Discolored ceiling in the bathroom that looks like a moisture problem. Probably due to the fact that the vent fan is plugged with dust and debris. The "included" breakfast is not terrible but needs serious improvement. Either don't include it at all or make it a selling point. Right now it's basically a Holiday Inn Breakfast that someone serves you rather than you going to get it yourself. You cannot make a reservation at the Tavern. Why? Because it's a free-for-all. That's right, seat yourself. Good luck in the evenings where the parties of two are taking up tables for six. The place will be half empty but you won't be able to sit anywhere with your family for dinner. This last comment isn't really on the Hotel itself, but it does factor in to the experience. The guests that are booking here are the absolute worst I have ever seen. I travel often for work, and I have never witnessed anything like I did at this Hotel. Guests were literally flowing out of the bar area, drinking, speaking with each other obnoxiously loud, stomping and yelling through the hallways. It was crazy. I could have gotten better rest at a college dorm. For $500/night, I definitely deserved better. Will never stay here again and will discourage anyone else from staying here as well.
Family C — Google review
Although I didn't stay the night, I was in a meeting room, and it was a great property from what I saw. Coworkers spent the night and said it was clean and quiet. They were annoyed by the breakfast by reservation only. They said it was a selling feature but couldn't get the amenity that came with the reservation. If you look online, there are many complaints about it and if you check open table morning service is always unavailable. Make your own opinion.
Chris M — Google review
I only give it a 4 because our room was right across the hall from the elevator and was a bit noisy. The breakfast was great, the king size bed was good, everything was very clean. The taxes in New Hampshire are high for hotels, 97 bucks for two nights .

We thought the corn maize hours were 11-6 when we googled the hours before driving the hour over. Arrived at 4:40 to be turned away because they close at 5pm. Yes upon checking the corn maize hours they are 11-5 however they could’ve let my kids in to play the activities for the 20 minutes knowing we drove so far and were still open. We can’t come back tomorrow as we’re driving home to Utah. I called to speak with a manger just now and just ask how they would feel if they had a 3 year old and showed up and kids were in there playing and you were turned away while still open. We’ve gone every year we were in the area and my 6 year old remembers it from 3 years ago and wanted to go back. We’ve been customers for years as my family lives in the area. Anyway her grumpy response was that “she would feel embarrassed for not checking the hours”. Mind you the website does not have any earlier times listed for the last entry to corm maize. I’m disappointed to receive such poor customer service all around. She then hung up on me. Yes they have an amazing set up however they won’t get my money ever again.

The Cranmore Inn was a wonderful place to stay, the staff are friendly and attentive and the Inn itself is well kept and loved. Breakfast was tasty and served quickly all three mornings we stayed. Heated pool and beautiful patio are a nice draw. IF I were looking for one critique it’s that though the location is off the main drag there is still a decent amount of cars using the four way stop outside. But such a small drawback for a place that is otherwise completely desirable

Absolutely gorgeous!!! Wonderful owners and staff. They do EVERYTHING they can to make you feel at home. I thought I lost a personal item, that it had been thrown away by the room cleaners. They were willing to go through the trash to find it. Luckily they didn't have to do that. They did a thorough search of my room and finally found it where it had fallen when the cleaners were in the room. It had fallen and been hidden. I was SUPER impressed with this level of service. This personal item was very important to me and they heard me. I love love love this place ♥

We stayed at the Cranmore for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff were so polite, and helpful and the Inn was beautiful. The room we stayed in was a little on the smaller side, but we really didn't need anything more than that. The place was very clean and neat. The breakfast they serve every morning was delicious, and they offered all kinds of different options. The girls who were on staff all weekend were awesome! They said they had just moved to the area only a short time ago, but they wrote able to direct us to some excellent food and a lot of cool places to check out while we were in the area. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again!

Wow! What can I say about the Cranmore Inn?! We were there for the cookie tour, and we had a great time! Our room was very clean, comfortable and just what we expected. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were very accommodating! Jonathan and the staff were fantastic and were helpful with tips and recommendations for the general area. The inn was decorated for Christmas, so it felt like living in a Christmas movie for a few days. We will definitely be back!

We couldn't have asked for more during our stay this past weekend. The food was unbelievable and the staff was so kind. The hot tub was a major bonus! We stayed in a Superior King and the room was very comfortable and a very nice size. The bed was very comfortable and we had very nice natural light. You are a stone's throw from downtown North Conway--a quick walk and you're right downtown. There was ample parking. Since this is a smaller Inn, they weren't still doing check in when we arrived at 10pm. We called ahead and they left the keys in our room for us. For Aug 2022, they have fairly strict COVID protocols--requiring mask indoors and taking your temperatures at check in. It's totally manageable but we didn't realize this until we were en route and had to scour the car for masks.

I can’t say enough great things about the Cranmore Inn. The family who runs it are so sweet and hardworking. They really care that all guests are comfortable. The inn is adorable and SUPER clean. From a pretend store and treehouse to learning exhibits and a drama center where kids can put on puppet shows or dress up in costumes, the museum encourages imaginative play. Young visitors can also explore themed areas such as animals, castles, kitchens, and farms using toys, puppets, books, and other educational items.
Great rainy day boredom buster!!!! We arrived at opening to a line, so be prepared. A greeter was at the door, cheerful and counting each person entering. Each room held more activities and things to explore. - Under the sea, princesses, dinosaurs, trains, a restarunt, a veterinarian office just to name a few. Everything was in good repair and clean - activity sets had all the pieces to play! Our 2.5 year olds were kept busy for almost 2 hours and could have stayed longer! Even as crowded as it was there was plenty to do and see. Extremely clean, friendly staff and military families are free!

We were very happy to find this place. Our 18 month old had so much fun. There's a lot of thought that goes into this place. The themes are wonderfully put together with the toys to go along with them. This is a great place for children to play and use their imaginations. We were only going to do the day passes due to living over an hour away but left with a membership. Our little one had so much fun the over an hour drive will be well worth it.

Brought my almost 1 year old here for our first time and it was great! From the outside I wasn't so sure, but inside was amazing. Paintings all over the walls, so many different themed rooms that seemed to just go on and on and on. Then there's this really cool room downstairs with glow in the dark paint and lights with the solar system painted all along the walls. I didn't get the family membership this time, but I definitely will be soon! Oh, and the woman working there was so friendly and sweet it was really comfortable I'd highly recommend any kid from 8 months old to about 10, especially if they play well with little ones!

The North Conway Model Railroad Club, established in 1975, is run by a team of volunteers and opens its operating layout to the public during limited days from late spring to early fall. The club showcases a 500-square-foot HO layout featuring replicas of the train yard and North Conway Station, complete with diesel locomotives and steam locomotives. This initiative was born after the creation of the Conway Scenic Railroad as a way to promote model railroading.
Love coming here! The North Conway Model Railroad Club is free for all to see. It is a great place for all ages. The club is run by volunteers who are amazing people. They have displays of North Conway Station, yard, and roundhouse. They also have a display of crawfords notch. There are also many other towns in areas that you can see. If you bring younger kids with you, I recommend keeping them supervised. These models are very delicate and can break easily if touched. Highly recommend!

This was, by far, my favorite stop on a NH trip that included Cog Railway, Storyland, Whale's Tale and Kancamagus Highway. Run by volunteers and completely free, it demonstrated 50+ years' worth of collective hard work on model railway. For a room not too big, I had to use panorama mode to capture the scale. The model covered magnificent landscapes such as harbor and logging, as well as countless fun story scenes. The level of attention to details was incredible, perfected over decades through passion and imagination. Staff was lovely and knowledgeable, and could talk about switch upgrading for a whole day. A genuine hidden gem of the area.
