Bimini's Oyster Bar & Seafood Market is a laid-back and vibrant cafe located in Myrtle Beach, offering generous portions of fresh seafood in a relaxed island-themed setting. Tucked away from the more prominent establishments on Restaurant Row, this hidden gem is known for serving some of the finest seafood on the Strand. The menu features raw-bar favorites like steamed local oysters and fresh shrimp cooked in Old Bay and beer, as well as an extensive selection of seafood prepared to your liking.
The oysters were shocked perfectly and they were delightful. Husband got the fish fry with grouper, shrimp and scallops. Everything was great except for the grouper lacked seasoning. The scallops were our favorite on the fried platter. Bimini has a store next-door, we went in to look for fish, but the market was closed for the season. The young lady that worked in there was super sweet! Did not catch her name, but she had brown hair and dimples and probably one of the nicest Persons we met in Myrtle Beach. She is definitely a keeper :-)

We only had a couple of nights in town and chose this as our restaurant to eat seafood, our serve Luigi was great! He was very personable and knowledgeable in the menu and seafood options. We got calamari as a starter, it was my kids first time trying it and all 3 loved it my husband said it was great as well! The hush puppies were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had almost every place in Calabash, these are now my new favorite! The fried fish was great, but my fried shrimp was very overcooked and didn’t taste super fresh. I would definitely return!
Morgan P — Google review
Three words: seafood, happy hour Thanks to Yelp, I found Bimini's on a search for happy hour deals. There was limited parking spots in their parking lot because it was so full. Thankfully I found one. There was a host near their outdoor patio seating area. It seemed like there is usually a line, but our party of two was seated right away. Our server gave us time to look through all the menus and came back with waters. She was excellent, and she def had experience under her belt to serve her customers well. She didn't know the price of the beer (it wasn't on the menu either), so she actually went to check and came back! [We had an experience with a GenZ server prior to this who gave us the wrong information. iykyk.] I only got to try the raw oysters and fried shrimp on the happy hour menu. I ordered a dozen oysters to share. One of the twelve was actually bad! I was surprised. The shrimp was great. They have an extensive drink list. I'd come back!

Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great customer service, laid back ambiance & delicious fresh seafood!!! Our server Carley was super friendly & attentive the entire night! The restaurant was pretty full and our wait time was only 20 minutes. It was worth every bit of the wait!! Everything from the oysters, seafood/shrimp kabobs, crab crake and crab legs was SUPERB!!! It was truly some of the best and freshest seafood I have ever had at ANY restaurant!! This was such an amazing experience for my first time trying this restaurant especially it being my birthday weekend! I will definitely be coming back!!! Hats off to the entire staff for making this a very memorable and special birthday dinner date night!!
Tawana L — Google review
Food was delicious. We had the famous fried fish (grouper), shrimp tacos, and shrimp kabob as an appetizer. We were told 45 minutes for the wait and then we were told 30 minutes after waiting the initial 45 minutes. The bathrooms are a bit small. Cherry mule was excellent.
Nick A — Google review
We absolutely loved finding this place! Full of locals and the bartenders were AMAZING! We had so much fun! We ordered the sampler (oysters, clams, mussels), 2 crab clusters, & 1/4lb of shrimp. The hush puppies were so good!!!
Em M — Google review
We waited over an hour to be seated, and the food overall was good. The service was good for the number of people she had to tended to it was an extremely busy night. Overall, it's a good local spot with food food. Be prepared to wait.
Mike A — Google review
Came back. Ordered appetizers and drinks. Came at 4 to avoid the rush. Sweetwater Hazy IPA - meh seems flat. South Island Brewing IPA full flavored, tastes like an American Beer. Bambino Breeze - Patty Island Therapy - Good Boys - steam pot Jess - steak and fries Pat - seafood kabobs Me - blackened tuna steak. Excellent but should be cooked medium. Service check back about 15-20 minutes in. —————— Super great place to eat seafood. We enjoyed everything.

Oyster bar restaurant
Dirty Don's Oyster Bar & Grill is a lively restaurant that offers a casual dining experience with a Key West-style atmosphere at two locations in Myrtle Beach. The restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for enjoying their happy hour specials from 4-6 p.m. on weekdays. Their menu includes a variety of seafood, steaks, hot wings, burgers, and other comfort food options.
Came here for lunch and enjoyed the service and food! Great location even if it's not beach side still had the seafood shack appeal. We dined outside as we had our dog with us and our server Christina was attentive and friendly. Had the oyster roast for an app and then we got the shrimp tacos and blackened fish sandwich (forgot to get a picture of the fish sandwich before my hubby devoured it 😎) Everything came out hot and tasted great! Be prepared to shuck your oysters for the roasted oysters which was fun even though it was messy 😃 You can also order other items on the 'roast' special. Will definitely return. Yum!

The service was horrible in the beginning but recovered towards the end. We had a male waiter who seemed like he could care less, but as mentioned definitely recovered towards the end. Food was good. My daughter ordered the tuna stuffed avocados..... Her friend ordered a burger... My wife ordered the pulled pork nachos and I ordered the fish sandwich. Food was very good. Originally we went to the one on the boardwalk but it was small cramped and they had a person in there playing guitar and singing with an amplifier. Couldn't even hear yourself so we left and went to this location. Next time I think we will try the one in market common.
Marko — Google review
Absolutely amazing food! We got Dirty Dons Fish Fry, Shrimp tacos and Greg’s Fish Sandwich. The fish was flaky, the breading crunchy and absolutely delicious. The oysters were super fresh and juicy and the street corn was incredible. We got our food really quickly and our server was really nice!
Spasuisohranu — Google review
Quaint, fun, and good vibes only atmosphere! Oh, the oysters are great! Along the "almost famous wings , fries and drinks so much more. Don't forget to order oyster shooter!!
T M — Google review
It is the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. How is it possible that they offer a menu when they don't put any love into the food? I do not recommend this place. Don't waste your money and your time there. I left the entire food, it had no flavor. The place is perfect, it's facing the sea, but a place like that with such bad service shouldn't be there.
Andrés D — Google review
We decided to eat out pretty late and rushed to try this place 40 mins till closing. They got us seated as quickly as possible and after we placed our order, our food was out 30-35 mins later. The lobster Mac and cheese was delicious and so were the ribs. I ordered the seafood boil in Cajun seasoning. The cook time on that could be better. The shrimp, clams, and crawfish were over cooked. As far as the flavor and crab legs, they were delicious. Due to the time, I didn’t bother to bring it to their attention and just ate the meal. I can say they were nice enough to continue seating people up until 9:55 PM. Not many would do that. I wish I could give them a 5 star rating but due to the food issue, 4 is more acceptable. I would give them another try earlier in the day. Especially for that lobster Mac and cheese!

**Disappointing Experience at Dirty Don’s Oyster Bar** I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Dirty Don’s Oyster Bar was unacceptable. The service was extremely poor — it took far too long just to get our food, and the staff didn’t seem attentive or concerned about the delays. When the oysters finally arrived, I was shocked to find they were not fresh — in fact, some appeared to have **parasites**. It was honestly disgusting and made me question the kitchen's food safety practices. To make matters worse, I was charged for food I couldn’t even finish due to the quality. When I brought it up, the staff showed no concern and still insisted I pay the full bill. No apology, no accountability. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back — and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a safe or enjoyable dining experience.

Met some friends for dinner (21st street location), never been here before. Had a local musician playing acoustical guitar and singing outside on the patio (Paul Grimshaw) who was awesome. Food and atmosphere was great. Would visit here again.

Noizy Oysters Bar & Grill is a lively seafood spot in Myrtle Beach, offering a variety of Southern favorites in a vibrant atmosphere. Recently taken over by local group Bondfire, the restaurant has undergone renovations and menu enhancements while still retaining its classic dishes like fresh oysters, hushpuppies, and local seafood specialties. The raw bar features an array of both local and boutique oysters with five original house sauces to complement them.
We visited this restaurant several times during our vacation. The food was very fresh and delicious, and the service was impressively fast. The staff were friendly and attentive. To enjoy the fresh seafood comfortably, they provide gloves and plenty of napkins, and if needed, even plastic bibs. Overall, the atmosphere was very pleasant. There are always a lot of visitors here. The only downside is that there are too many TV screens on the walls, which can be distracting for kids during meals. Still, this is definitely a place we would love to come back to.

I ate here yesterday dad with a friend of mine for the first time. Overall I would say we both loved eating here and would definitely come back. The food was amazing. I had a boil for one and it was far more food than expected. I usually have to order some more sausage to go with it hut, I amp most couldn’t eat everything. The amount of food you get is great for the price. It all had great flavor also. The service was on point also. When I was trying to buy that extra sausage, the lady insisted that I wouldn’t need it where sue could have just let me waste the money Bonnie. It was greatly appreciated. She was very nice. The atmosphere was great too. Very happening place with many TV’s all around to watch. The bar area looked very good also. I would definitely come back here and I would suggest you give it a shot also, you won’t be disappointed.

Decided to come here for a Mother’s Day Weekend Dinner with the Fam of 7 and it was Great! Wait time was 30 mins but it seemed to fly by and before we knew it, we were seated. All of the Staff Members were very kind and accommodating. Our Server Karina did an Excellent Job with making sure everyone in our group was taken care of. Everyone’s food was hot, fresh and tasty! Atmosphere was exactly as the name, “Noizy”, but in a good way! -lol! I had 2 pineapple margaritas and it did not disappoint! it I’d definitely recommend. Fun, Family Friendly and a Great Vibe!

Wow, we found our new Favorite spot! We will definitely be coming back here! The food was amazingly delicious! We ordered two of the seafood broil (no additional add ons) for 4 people and it was a lot of food (not complaining), so make sure you come hungry. We had a lot of left overs. We also ordered raw oysters and I don’t remember eating it because it went so fast. One seafood broil can feed at least 3 or 4 people, the portion was a feast! The seafood broil is a seafood lovers dream!!!! Definitely give this place a try, you’re welcome!

Food: My gf thought her seafood boil was pretty good (liked the flavor and amount of food, thought the actual crab legs lacked actual meat, for the most part). The shrimp tacos app (over priced for what you get (2 tacos with 6 shrimp total for like $16) but the flavor was decent). Gf also like her Blue Hawaiian drink, did say it was smaller than the menu pictures and not worth $15). Service: Even though we had a reservation and was on time, we had to wait 15 minutes bc "nobody wants to sit outside". Sorry, but what's the point of a reservation if you have to wait bc they don't actually reserve your table and instead give it to walk-ins who don't want to sit outside. Hostess was nice though. Additionally, I couldn't order what I wanted bc they were out of avocado for the Ahi tuna app, which it happens, but still annoying. Lastly, I ordered an app as an entree bc I wasn't too hungry and they brought it out 5 minutes after we ordered but before my gf's entree. When we told the server about this, we were told that bc it's an app, you cannot order it as an entree and it has to come out beforehand. To me, that's absurd. The server spoke maybe 10 words to us overall Oh and be prepared to feel like you're at the club with their music choice and volume even though it's 7pm on a Thursday, lol. They charged 12.5% tax (before the non-cash 3% charge) even though the sale tax for the area is 9%. Not the end of the world money-wise, but shady nonetheless. Overall, would definitely recommend the seafood boil and would come back bc of it all the while hoping the other stuff has gotten corrected with better training and/or employees.
Chris E — Google review
What a fabulous night of delicious seafood. This was my first seafood boil & I was not disappointed! The seafood was cooked to perfection, my compliments to the cook/chef! Tasting the sea in every bite was making me salivate for more. The only & I mean the only disappointing thing was that there was nothing to mop up that Devine juice. A little bread would have been ideal. Carmella was a delightful and extremely attentive hostess who looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. Mojitos were one of the best I’ve had & believe me when I say I’ve had shockers, so well done to the cocktail maker- thank you!
Kathleen D — Google review
Very very fast service, almost to a fault. All appetizers and dinners were done very quickly together. Other than that, the food was delicious. A great deal on their boil and crab legs were huge. A little over steamed but not a big problem. Also didn’t like that the seating was right on the street. Would be much better to have parking in the front and back and seating along the side for a more quiet and cute seating area. Service was great & good margaritas.
Danielle F — Google review
Excellent food, especially seafood boil. My family and I loved it. I recommend the Tenders for the kids and the mini burger. It was also something that exploded. We were able to make a reservation online for quick access, but when we arrived, we were told that something was not working, which we didn't understand. This happens sometimes. Recommendation: Fix that. Above all, the food was perfect. The atmosphere was perfect. The drinks were on point. The cleanliness and decor were excellent.

With over 50 years of tradition, this oceanfront establishment offers some of the freshest seafood in Myrtle Beach, accompanied by stunning views of the Atlantic.
What an awesome experience. The service was amazing. My wife and I visited for dinner. We order the Crab cakes and She Crab soup for appetizers. They bring hush puppies with honey butter as well. All three were delightful. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass and I ordered the Pecan Crusted Grouper. The meal was prepared well and delicious. We highly recommend visiting.

Stopped by this American seafood restaurant for dinner and had a solid experience overall. While the prices were definitely on the higher end, the quality of the food and service helped justify the cost. The atmosphere was one of the highlights—relaxed, inviting, and tastefully decorated with coastal vibes that made it perfect for a seafood night out. Whether you’re on a date or dining with friends, it sets the right mood. Service was excellent—friendly, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing. Staff made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal, and the timing between courses was just right. The food itself was good—not mind-blowing, but well-cooked and fresh. If you don’t mind spending a little extra for a nice night out with great ambiance and service, this place is worth a visit.

Such a great view outside! Comfortable atmosphere and great refreshing food! Blew my expectations away!! Got the crab dip wich was amazing- and whipped which was a first. Also for the salmon and avacado wrap- very refreshing. Hummingbird cake for dessert was also delicious and made in house!

This is like stepping back into the 1950’s in terms of the decor, the menu, and the general atmosphere. The prices are not from the ‘50s though - think mid range steakhouse. There were three to five people standing around at all points in time but the service was slow and inattentive. The food was fresh, but not something I would want to eat again. Generally I would recommend against choosing this restaurant. There are better places to spend your money. Goodness, I just looked at the prices again - what a joke!
Ashleigh N — Google review
Food was delicious. Environment was very nice and enjoyable. Ocean view with beautiful sunset. Musician entertainment was great. Service was struggling, the bartender was stuck trying to tend the bar as well as wait tables and he was stretched too thin. I felt bad for him. Our Margherita's were really sour and we mentioned it to him when we ordered another one and it was still way too sour.
Sandra B — Google review
I have been going to Sea Captains’s House for years! The food just keeps getting better. The seafood is so fresh. The batter on the fried seafood is so light! The selection for no seafood lovers is good. A must for everyone’s Myrtle vacation!
Kellie — Google review
Food and atmosphere were great. We enjoyed some wine and fresh seafood. A great choice if you’re looking for a nice view. Our waitress Cassandra was attentive and friendly. We’ll be back if in SC again.
Joyce O — Google review
Location is perfect. Waitress was very attentive. Food is good but a bit pricey. Filet was cooked perfect. Crab dip was the best thing on the menu. The baked potato is cooked already cut open. By the time it comes out the top is very hard, crunchy and there's barely any edible potato. $100+ for one person 1 appetizer, a cocktail, dinner meal and dessert. Its good, but take your wallet and be prepared. Oh and the live music was a definite bonus. I will add the waitress asked the bartender to help take a table. She refused. Made a comment to her 3 customers sitting at the outdoor bar that she wasn't doing that and taking a big party (there was no big party at that time). That was not the time or place. That should've been figured out before you get in front of your customers.

Mr. Fish Seafood Market & Grill is a popular seafood restaurant that has recently moved to a more spacious location while maintaining its excellent menu. The establishment is run by Ted Hammerman, a well-known fisherman, and his daughter Sheina, who has experience in the restaurant industry. Together, they offer a comfortable environment with an extensive selection of seafood dishes, including steamed or fried shrimp and oysters.
Great tasting food, ability to get local fresh fish or cooked to order imported fish. Not s flashy place, smells like fish when you enter but that's just because it's a fish market and you can't really get any fresher. Mix of locals and tourists. Decent prices. My only complaint was that the food could have been hotter, but they have these big ceiling fans, so I think it's hard for it to stay super hot. There are booths and tables to eat at .

Best fish market in Myrtle Beach. The staff is great, great teamwork, very happy staff. The owner must treat them like family. They are well known for their fresh fish. It's a good sign when you see chefs from restaurants coming in to buy their fresh fish. And they do cook for you. We came in for clams on the half shell, and had a craving for fried oysters. Great portions for the price, and unquestionable Quality Inn freshness.
Mike G — Google review
Loved this place! You order at the counter and they bring it right to your table—super quick and friendly service. The crab legs were sweet and juicy, absolute perfection with butter. The oysters? Fresh, briny, and delicious—felt like the ocean on a plate. Definitely coming back!

I got the trio and it was fantastic. This is definitely a place I will recommend to anyone who comes here. The service was okay. Took a little while to be seen to buy at the counter. But everything after was okay. The sauce and how well the fish was grilled - it was amazingly good here. I will definitely have to come back to it another time. The hush puppies are solid too. Never had such a nice crisp hush puppy before.

In town visiting, I really wanted some fried haddock and grill shrimp. I ordered the seafood platter option with 2 sides; street corn and side salad. In addition, I ordered the shrimp egg roll. First, let me say that the shrimp egg roll was delicious! Omg. I am glad I ordered that because the fried haddock was tasteless with no seasoning and softly fried. I was so disappointed. The grilled shrimp was good, but I wanted my haddock to be good as well. The street corn was odd looking and tasting. I wasn't sure if it was because it was old and cold or just not good. My bill was $40.14. Again, I was visiting and relied on these reviews. I have mixed feelings but probably wouldn't return...well maybe for the shrimp egg roll.

Wow! This place is amazing! The fish tacos, fish platter, and shrimp hibachi were incredible! So much flavor! Luke was absolutely phenomenal in helping us pick what to order! All the staff were super friendly! 10/10 from me! We will be back annually when we visit Myrtle Beach!

Oh my goodness! We are here in Myrtle Beach visiting. We wanted a laid back fish place to eat at. Happened to find Mr. Fish and we were not disappointed! The service was amazing, the beer was cold and the food hands down beat out all the “expensive” places we went to. This easily has become our favorite place to eat and will be at the top of our list in future visits. Hands down the best shecrab soup in Myrtle Beach!

Shrimp and grits all day long. Crayfish. Don’t bother. They didn’t have live. Someone behind the counter suggested getting the frozen ones and steaming. Dry tasteless. Awful actually. 😞 Fish sandwich was great. Hush puppies yummy.

Restaurant
Hook & Barrel is a trendy seafood restaurant located in Myrtle Beach, offering a chic nautical ambiance and an extensive selection of local seafood paired with fine wines and spirits. Situated in the exclusive Dunes section of town, this upscale eatery places a strong emphasis on fresh seafood as the star of its menu. Guests can indulge in the Harvest of the Sea special, allowing them to select their preferred fresh catch, preparation style, and house-made sauce.
We visited while on vacation and had a truly wonderful experience! I had the blackened salmon, and my partner got the braised beef short ribs—both were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. We also got drinks and shared the fish bites, which were amazing. The complimentary pimento cheese was a fun and tasty surprise! Our server, Shelby, was super friendly and attentive. We didn’t have a reservation but were seated right away around 4 PM (though it was getting busy when we left, so reservations are probably a good idea). We were sat in the wine room, which was quiet and cozy, and the overall atmosphere was so unique. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and amazing food! We had she crab soup, fish bites and the seafood tower. Everything was very fresh and delicious! We were in the mood for a seafood tower and found the perfect place! They even gave us a free dessert for our anniversary!

This was a very pleasant experience for our group. We made reservations for a group of ten. When we arrived, we were seated promptly. Our server was on top of everything and very knowledgeable of the menu items. She took our drink order and brought them out quickly, along with Pimento Cheese and Crackers. There are great options for starters. Our table shared Shrimp Ceviche, BLT Sliders, Flatbread, Bomber Shrimp, Cheese and Charcuterie, and Fish Bites…all of which were good. The main courses we chose were all delicious. My personal choice were the Crab Cakes, with garlic mashed potatoes and amazing brussel sprouts, while my wife got the Crab-stuffed Flounder. I highly recommend the flounder. Others in our group had dishes of Roasted Chicken Breast, Coastal Ribeye, and Crab Lump soup. All reports were positive, with the exception of the macaroni and cheese side dish, which lacked flavor. I tasted it and agree it was bland. When it came time for desserts, we were really in for a treat…pun intended. The Pumpkin Cheesecake was my favorite. I love cheesecake and had never had that flavor. The Pineapple Bread Pudding was also excellent, but I also love pineapple. The Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet were both a hit with our group, as well. Overall, everyone was satisfied with the service and food, leaving very happy. The atmosphere was very nice, and we were very comfortable. It feels like an upscale restaurant and the experience we had matches that. Great service and great food!

We had such a wonderful dinner at Hook & Barrel! We started with the house lavash bread and pimento cheese — they even brought out a special gluten-free toast for me, which I really appreciated. The gluten-free fish bites were baked and perfectly seasoned, paired with a creamy mustard dipping sauce that was addicting. The garlic white wine mussels were steamed to perfection! Preston ordered the ginger pear martini — very sweet and easy to drink. For entrées, the fresh catch of the day was a whole rainbow trout, beautifully filleted and served over a rich cashew cream sauce. I added a side of saffron and date rice, which was full of flavor and complemented the fish perfectly. Preston got the crab cakes with Brussels sprouts and creamed cauliflower — the crab cake was gluten-free (a rare and delightful treat for me!) and absolutely delicious. I also loved that the menu clearly marked which dishes could be made gluten-free — it made ordering so easy and stress-free. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Joe, Saddona, and Adam took amazing care of us and made the whole experience feel special. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was recommend to us for a must try while down in Myrtle Beach and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. Service was exceptional and all the staff was polite and helpful. We each started off with salads and they were great. They give you a complimentary pimento cheese and cracker board, which was excellent. I did the stuffed flounder with crab and it was delicious. If you’re in the area I highly recommend it as well.

Today my husband took me to Hook & Barrel for my Birthday. We live in Brunswick County NC but have passed by and have always wanted to try this place. OMG it was absolutely amazing!! It is such an upscale restaurant. Our server Tiannamarie was awesome. She was so helpful and was so attentive. The food was so delicious and totally high end. I can't wait to go back. If you haven't gone yet you have to go immediately. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

First, make a reservation! Monday night was slam-packed-full! But reservation was perfect, right on time, and seating was less than a minute after checking in. Despite the sheer volume of guests dining, the service was quick, efficient, and attentive. Starters were fish bites and Oysters Heidi. The fish was done nicely and the dipping sauce was perfect with just the right amount of spice. Oysters were very good and ended our starting round pleasantly. A tray with a type of Pimento cheese and seasoned crackers bridged the gap between start and entrée while encouraging community and communication. Entrées were the seafood pasta and the seared scallops. Pasta was plentiful and full enough of seafood that you didn't feel you were missing anything. The scallops were good... but flavor didn't seem to be as developed as others I have had. Maybe the sear was just off? Still a great dish, obviously, when that's the only thing you can say felt different for others! We declined dessert, and yet there appeared a small celebration cake! Apparently someone had told them there was a birthday... Our next visit to Myrtle Beach will certainly include a dinner here again!

This seafood restaurant features an extensive buffet with a variety of seafood items to choose from. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is welcoming. It's perfect for families who want to indulge in some good food without spending too much money.
The perfect experience! Visiting here with my grandparents and it was a delight. The service from Christian and Brian were so kind and attentive. The buffet had a million options everything from crab, mussels, oysters, shrimp, fish tacos, soup, salad, steak, brisket, chicken anything you could imagine they had! The dessert bar was fabulous as well lots of cakes and pudding and ice cream. Come before 4:30pm and it’s $3 off! Well worth the $49.99 price tag. Come hungry!

Wow, the best buffet I've ever went to. Food was full of flavor, hot and fresh. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were nice and attentive. My waitresses were Sophie and her brother, they are the best!!! Super kind and kept checking on my table to ensure a positive experience. If you are a fan of oysters- you have to try the oyster Rockefeller here! 20 out of 10 for everything....I also enjoyed the hush puppies, shrimp, and the spicy butter sauce options with the crab legs, so yummy!! If you are deciding what seafood buffet to visit, here's your answer!!

LISTEN UP AND HEAR ME WELL, THIS IS THE BEST BUFFET I HAVE EVER SEEN OR BEEN TO THAT WASNT IN LAS VEGAS! This place is a seafood lovers dream!!! All you can eat crab legs, mussels clams, shrimp, brisket, ribs, wings fried chicken, salads and on and on etc!!!! And they have multiple stations of crab legs so your not fighting with people at one spot. The food just kept coming out hot and ready! They even have a small sports bar area for those that wanna eat some shrimp and watch the games. It's is SUPER clean and very well organized from the entry to the seating and the waiters don't miss a beat!!!! I couldn't believe how big this place is either. Whomever owns this place definitely understands their customer market. I have 0 complaints and we are actually picky about eating buffets after COVID but this Captain George's place i would visit on repeat anytime we visit here. Don't be afraid of the line when you see it packed because they have a process to seat on party size, it's really good and our wait time from getting out the car to seating on Saturday Labor Day weekend at 7pm, was only 18 minutes.
Eugene W — Google review
Sunday is $5 off buffet meal per person so it is 45$ instead of $50 basically. We usually get an all you can eat crab legs dinner when we visit the beach and it's $50 or more per person with only corn, hush puppies or sausage, The buffet is worth it for sure! The buffet was fully stocked with dozens of choices and fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Jim was out waitor and he was extremely nice and fun. My mother and I went for crab legs and had our fill, as well as so many other great options from the buffet. I got a drink from the bar, bartender was very nice and made me a great Moscow mule. He had a eagles jersey on so of course I loved that! Everything was really great for us and the dessert bar is huge compared to other local eateries. I do wish it was acceptable to take a dessert home with you after. We were so full from crab legs and other foods from the buffet that we didn't get much dessert. It may be an available option to take a piece of cake or something to go. I will remember that for next time to ask. All in all, great meal and dinning experience.

I visited on a Thursday night for dinner. It was 49.99 + 3.99 for a drink. You'd think for that price your drink would be included. Small variety of food. I'm rating it a 2 because some of the food was good. Crab was super salty. It's not worth the money and I wont be coming back or recommending. The staff did an awesome job. It was clean and a beautiful establishment.

My friend and I visited Myrtle Beach last week and stayed just for a day. For dinner, we decided to try some seafood, and this restaurant immediately caught our attention. It turned out to be such a great choice! The buffet had an amazing variety of delicious options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and respectful. We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be coming back. In fact, right after dinner, I called my friends to recommend this place in case they ever visit Myrtle Beach—it’s worth it!

I thought I was going to the place I visited two years ago, but it turned out to be a different location. The food was overall pretty good. My favorite crab legs were a bit too salty, which was a little disappointing, but having three crab leg stations meant I didn’t have to wait long, which was really convenient. Also a very friendly server! 8/31/2025 Sun. 재방문의사는 없음. 다른 뷔페가기!

This might be the coolest buffet I've ever been! On my way here, I was awestruck at the size of the restaurant itself. It's like a mansion from the outside. There's plenty of free parking spots all around the building. There are two lines - the right side entrance is for parties under four; the left side entrance is for larger parties. I see that families like to come here. Adults are $49.99 for dinner. They close at 9 PM. Soft drinks are an additional $3.99 charge per person. I got water, and they were pretty attentive to having it refilled. As I entered, I immediately noticed the ship that served the food. It was so cool. I saw a family taking pictures in front of it. Then I realized there were two more ships behind it. You get plates from the bottom shelf and self-serve food on the counters. Lines form on either side. It's a buffet! Y'all can't expect fine dining quality here. The food here is good for a buffet. Having unlimited crab legs is a plus. Fried chicken, fried shrimp, bang bang shrimp, fried oysters, and fried scallops were notable to me. Oh, and also the dinner rolls. I like that the restaurant strategically placed crab legs in all stations to spread out the lines. Then there was a whole dessert section in the back of the restaurant. There were two soft serve dispensers, and they have cones too. The ice cream was actually really good. At each table, they have a big bowl to throw away crab legs (and other food). This place is huge; there are so many rooms. So naturally there are so many servers. There's just a lot of people walking around. The bathroom is closer to the front by the T-shirt store. I saw an ATM machine there too. I didn't try other seafood buffets in town (there are so many), but I'm glad I got to visit Captain George's!

This Myrtle Beach seafood restaurant provides straightforward fish dishes on paper plates for lunch and dinner. The market features local and seasonal catches, making it a great option for seafood lovers. The restaurant is casual, but the kitchen manages to produce some of the best seafood around.
Great find! We aren’t buffet fans and this was the perfect place to get seafood! Staff greeted us right away, service was excellent, food was delicious, portion sizes on point, and prices fair. We loved it!

My son & I ate Mrs. Fish with some friends while we were on vacation. they found it online, it was nearby & is seafood on a budget. The restaurant was in a strip mall with diagonal parking spots out front. It's easy to miss. There were 4-5 homeless people sitting around outside while we were there. Inside is kinda run down. The other ladies got haddock, but i had grilled chicken. It was extremely dry & bland. They don't have pickles or mustard. Nasty fries are served with every meal. The kids didn't like the burgers, chicken or fries. & they charged 20% on bill for parties of 5+

Delicious seafood! Fresh haddock, salmon and shrimp were a hit! Good price, generous portions. Hot, freshly cooked. Handcut fries. Hushpuppies and Cole slaw were great too. Very friendly staff. A pleasant surprise to find! Thank you Beth and Greg for introducing us to "Mrs. Fish".

First time visiting! I was Googling lunch places and found Mrs Fish. It wasn't far from the hotel And was near another place I wanted to try. I was flabbergasted that I'd never heard of the place and had ridden by over the years! I'm so glad I went because it was Delicious 😋! I wanted to try the scallops but they were sold out 😔. The calamari was the backup but they they did NOT disappoint!! The seasoning on the fries was chef's kiss too. The server, Brittany (if I remember correctly), was a joy as well. I had her laughing and we talked about music and the artwork in the restaurant. It was a really good time and I can't wait to go back.

My husband and I ate here for lunch and had the grilled grouper and shrimp. The food was fantastic, loved the fries. It's not fancy, but the food was better than an expensive restaurant we ate at earlier in the week. Will definitely be coming back here on our yearly trip. The waitress was sweet and helpful, running the dining room by herself but very efficient.

WOW!! The crab here is spectacular! The batter they use to fry the food here is immaculately seasoned all the way through. Would 100% come here again, and I plan on ordering double the amount I did!!!

5/5 Stars: Mrs. Fish is the REAL Deal! Unbeatable Value & Flavor! Forget the fancy seafood spots—Mrs. Fish is where it's at if you want freshness, quality, and genuinely low prices. This place is no-frills, and that's exactly why it shines. They focus 100% on the food, and it shows. The fish meal I had was spectacular—perfectly cooked, flaky, and tasted like it just came off the boat. You simply cannot beat the quality of the fish here for the price point. But let's talk sides, because they are just as impressive. The fresh sides were delicious and clearly prepared with care. And the hand-cut fries? Seriously, they are cooked perfectly; crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. If you're looking for a delicious, fresh seafood meal that won't empty your wallet, Mrs. Fish is a must-try. This is my new go-to.

A cozy, quiet, local fresh seafood restaurant. Two can eat here for what it costs one to eat at most of the other seafood restaurants here. The service is great and friendly!

Clearwater Oyster Bar & Grill is a newly opened restaurant located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach. This establishment offers a wide selection of fresh oysters sourced from various regions, alongside delectable fried oyster appetizers. The dining experience at Clearwater Oyster Bar & Grill is truly unique, providing customers with an opportunity to savor delicious dishes such as the seafood combo pasta featuring pan-seared scallops.
We visit the North Myrtle Beach area every year. We have enjoyed dinner here on several occasions now since they've opened it is beautiful to sit out on the deck looking over the intercoastal. You can have dinner at the restaurant or order carry out. We have done both, It's all wonderful. Gabby is great. She remembers who we are and helped us out with a situation completely. Our server this year in restaurant was Hannah. Both are amazing and I highly recommend! My son got the combo boil #3, and my daughter and I both got surf & turf with scallops, loaded mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad . Spicy Bloody Mary Oyster Shooter also delicious. What a delicious way to spend our last evening in Myrtle Beach! we look forward to next year! Thanks so much😊

The food was delicious, and the deck’s view of the Intracoastal Waterway made the meal even better. Prices were average, the drinks were well made, and the house wine was good. Happy hour is worth catching if you arrive in time. I’ll definitely be back.

Abysmal service! Thought it was seat-yourself because no wait staff! Finally, asked kid staffing oyster bar and he told us to wait. Boy, did we wait! Waited to be seated, waited for drink order, waited for our orders to be taken, waited for check. But with only a single waitress workin, easy to see why. Only redeeming factor was the seafood. Cooked perfectly. I got the seafood platter. Whitefish = cod. Hubs tried to order loaded fries, no steak?? No soup, chowder or otherwise. Killer live music on back deck and fully staffed bar. Would not return.

The oysters are amazing. Had 4 dozen and the gator bites were it. Old fashion on point. Plate presentation got the wow of me. Had a very strong server. She was dropping off oysters and then a storm was coming so she carried all the outside umbrellas in so they wouldn’t blow away. All the while keeping our waters filled to the rim. Would highly recommend. I’d do it again. 10/10 will be back.

Try the peel and eat shrimp or the Oyster Boil. You will not be sorry! Happy Hour menu is also a must (4-8) and today (Sunday), there’s a band called The Purpose. Bartender says this band donates 100% of proceeds to charity. If you’re in the area right now then pass on your other plans and come to Clearwater Oyster Bar. I think you’ll love it!
Dwan H — Google review
2 stars is not fair, it's better than that. 3 stars is too much, it's not that good. If it were a 10 star scale, it would be 3 out of 10. Went on a Friday night in mid Sept. The waitress was anything but good. I asked for beer options, she told me about 4 or 5 domestics. I said "do you have an IPA" she said no. When she left I went and got one from the bar... An IPA. She forgot my water and then when I asked for my water, she said I must have asked someone else and not her. She did at least apologize, but she wouldn't take responsibility. She disappeared for long stretches, numerous times. THE FOOD: The food was a mixed bag. Im rating the place 3 stars because it's not ALL bad. The fish and chips, the slaw, and the calamari were SUPER delicious! But the Oysters Rockefeller was laughably poor. Stay far far away from this item. It's an insult to the recipe. They put a tiny sliver of spinach on it, then a mound of Parmesan cheese. They bake it or broil it in the salamander (name for cooking equipment). So when the cheese cools down, it just peels off the top. It's hardened and difficult to eat. The entire thing just tastes like Parmesan cheese. It is easily the worst Rockefellers recipe I've ever had, and I get it every restaurant I go to. I could name 10 places in Myrtle that are better for this recipe. OVERALL: The environment is stunning. A gorgeous back deck overlooking the river, especially on a beautiful Grand Strand day, is hard to beat. The service is lacking. The food is mixed. The calamari is some of the best I've ever had though. Not saying "NO, DONT GO" - But with all the options in Myrtle, I'm not convinced it's worth the night out.

Wow, I just had the best time at a place with amazing outdoor seating right by the ocean in Myrtle Beach! The views were absolutely stunning, and I could have stayed there all night. Plus, the service was incredible, with the sweetest server named Shanaiya. She was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed – such a wonderful person. The was good and I will try something different next time. The manager Nick was doing a good job. I will say that there is an automatic 15% gratuity add it to the bill.

Home run! Lunch on a weekday with a great ocean view! Fast, friendly service. Cute atmosphere. The food though....phenomenal. the lobster rolls were wonderful and the fish and chips was the best I've had and I'm from New England. Just crispy outside and flaky inside with a perfect seasoning. Highly recommend these dishes.

RipTydz in Myrtle Beach has a nice oceanfront location right on the boardwalk, with great views from its large multi-level setup. The place is spacious, but if you’re going with a big group, be prepared for a long wait—reservations are highly recommended. They have a good seafood-focused menu; I enjoyed the fried calamari and lobster rolls. Prices are average for a beachfront spot. However, the restaurant was very hot during our visit—only the second floor has air conditioning, and the fans on the other levels just aren’t enough. Service also fell short—one of our group’s meals was forgotten, and they had to wait an extra 15 minutes with no apology or acknowledgment from the staff. Overall, just an average experience despite the great setting.
Erick ( — Google review
We went because Google said it was a good place to watch the sunset. Wrong! Do not go here expecting to see any sort of views of the sunset. The food was OK and service was good but they take your card as soon as you are seated before brining you anything. Then they automatically add 15% service fee (tip) on all tabs. It's crazy windy on the roof, do not go looking cute with your hair down. Put your hair up if you plan on eating food without your hair blowing in your face. And you won't be able to see what you're eating anyway. They have string lights but you'll want to use your flashlight to see the menu or what's on your plate. Do not order Mega Mason drinks, they are so big that there is no alcohol at all. You'll also be charged extra to have your photo taken or get a balloon animal. Steamers are plenty of food for 2 people. But they won't tell you that. We had a good time but won't go back. $250 dinner for 2 is NOT worth it!

Excellent place to eat! My husband and I sat in the covered patio where we got to enjoy the beautiful view. Our server was AMAZING! 1st time eating there and definitely had a good time. We got the out table but it was a little cool outside so we went back in. Everyone was very helpful and polite. Nice view for the time we did spend outside. I got the frozen pineapple pina colada, it leaked a little but if i drank too fast I'd have a brain freeze. Still good though. The chicken eggrolls were amazing. The pub chips were ok. My family really like the wonton. The bacon mac n cheese was ok. The fried chicken tasted good. Fries were on point. Cool place to eat and enjoy view. Food was alright.

Dirty Don's Oyster Bar is a lively restaurant that offers a variety of seafood, steaks, and comfort food in a charming nautical setting. The Key West-inspired ambiance creates a beachside bar vibe where patrons can enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. The menu features delectable traditional-style seafood dishes, including fresh oysters and the signature Dirty Don's Dunkin' Pot filled with steamed shellfish, corn on the cob, potatoes, and hot sausages.
Out and about with our Nikolai! The staff was fantastic! They immediately brought him water and gave him a pet. We ordered the Steampot Cajun-style! All the seafood was fresh and not overcooked. *which is easy to do* There was easily enough for three people. But, the 2 of us gave it our best go. The side street in Myrtle was very quiet. The outside patio was nice and shady. *it was very warm that day* Parking is available, which is a bonus in Myrtle Beach! We can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu!

Went to Don’s for our first dinner in town after a first hand recommendation and seeing it along the boardwalk the last few years. The entertainment in particular that night was incredible for bar music and played a great set to set the backdrop for dinner and drinks. We were looking for easy seafood options but weren’t feeling too adventurous. Decided to go with fish and chips and fried shrimp. Shrimp was good but the grouper was outstanding. Very flaky with a well seasoned dredge. Hush puppies came with each and were a great compliment. Sides were fries and roasted red potatoes.

We went to Dirty Don’s Oyster Bar & Grill at 9:45 PM. The place was still busy, and people were clearly still being served. We sat at one of the outdoor tables. A young woman was taking orders from the table behind us, but completely ignored us. We thought maybe she was in a rush and tried to be understanding. My husband went inside to ask for menus. Someone who appeared to be working at the bar rudely snapped, “The kitchen is closed.” When my husband pointed out that someone had just taken an order behind us, another polite and understanding server stepped in and kindly said she would assist us. She brought menus and took our drink orders. Shortly after, the same rude staff member came back angrily, repeating that the kitchen was closed. We explained our order had already been taken, but he replied, “We can’t cook it.” Even after reminding him that we were just handed menus and placed our order, he insisted again—this time saying the kitchen had closed at 9:55. When we pointed out how unreasonable this was, he aggressively said, “Fine, I’ll cook it.” Frankly, we didn’t feel comfortable eating anything prepared by someone so visibly hostile, and we canceled our order. No one deserves to be treated this way just because a place has good ratings. Since it’s a seafood-focused area, we assumed most places would serve decent food—and in fact, later that evening we had a wonderful dining experience elsewhere. We usually make it a point to support local businesses when we travel, but this one was a huge disappointment. A dirty kitchen, rude staff, and a complete lack of hospitality. We will never return—and definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

The Original Shuckers Raw Bar is a cozy tavern just a few blocks away from the Boardwalk along Kings Highway. It offers a variety of seafood specialties and daily happy hour oyster specials. The menu includes steamed, fried, raw, or baked oysters as well as other seafood options like crab legs, clams, mussels, shrimp, and more in their Steam Pot dish. The bar also serves Southern comfort food and delightful treats like fried Oreos.
I'm here for oysters and all of them are so good , fresh and tasty much try when you visit Myself Beach. Clam chowder is also delicious. They also have outdoor seating. Great place to enjoy food and drink. Service is great. Love this place.

My family and I recently visited Original Shuckers Oyster Bar. While the food was good, it's important to note that the restaurant is quite small with more of a bar feel, and it can get pretty noisy. This wasn't quite the atmosphere we were looking for, but we certainly enjoyed the delicious food! We ordered the shrimp boil and added some tasty crab legs – everything was fresh and flavorful. My mother also enjoyed her seafood sampler appetizer. The food was genuinely good, hitting all the right notes for a seafood craving. If you're looking for excellent seafood in a lively, smaller, and boisterous bar setting, Original Shuckers is a good option. Come for the great food, and be prepared for a fun, energetic (and noisy!) atmosphere!

This was not our first choice, but it definitely should have been! We were waiting a few building down for our reservation which took 45 mins so we left and found this place. It was quiet and not very busy, but when we sat down our waitress was very kind and helpful. She had a good attitude and gave us plenty of time to order. The food came quick, and it was hot. I got the 1/2 dozen raw oysters and they were great, and my husband had the crab legs and said they were the best restaurant crab legs he’s had. My nephew got the steam pot and ate the entire thing. I also got the fried fish platter and it was phenomenal. I loved that the atmosphere was laid back and quiet. We even got a free beer. We most definitely will be back the next time we vacation in Myrtle beach. The

First and foremost, this is a dive bar. If you are looking for a bright family experience, this place is not for you. It's also a dive bar with some of the best seafood to value you will find. The raw oysters are clean and the cocktail sauce has the perfect amount of horseradish. I got the sautee blackened platter with grouper. The fish was like butter! Hands down, best grouper I've ever had. The crab cake was meaty and moist, the shrimp was yummy, the broccoli was perfect (I could eat it every day), and the hush puppies were solid. If you are looking for a place that the local flock to, a place for great seafood at an amazing value, AND parking, this is the place for you. *As a note, this place stops seating an hour before close. *

We came for happy hour a couple times and plan on going back there again tomorrow it is that good and reasonable! The staff was on top of things with regards to our orders and they had a great sense of humor. The atmosphere was wonderful. Everybody seemed very nice. It’s like a local bar and restaurant in the middle of a tourist area. A must go for dollar oysters. The muscles and the wings are also wonderful.

We had a great experience here. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Seriously the best service we have had at Myrtle beach. The food was seasoned and tasted great. We will definitely be going back.

This place is great! It’s a little hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant, and everything we had was excellent. We got a variety of seafood and it was all fresh: raw, fried, and baked Parmesan oysters, clam chowder, and the tuna steak sandwich. They cooked the tuna perfectly med rare, and all of the oysters were great. Their cocktails were delicious as well, the key-lime pietini really tasted like it! We went around 2 so it wasn’t super busy, but staff was all super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend if you like fresh seafood and reasonable prices :)

Was there Wed night, great buffalo shrimp, phenomenal oyster combo. Bartender super nice/sweet. She hooked the oysters up herself. This is my favorite go to place when I'm in town. I don't understand why they aren't more busy then they are. Food is outstanding there. Great local chill place. Love this place, kudos

Buffet restaurant
Historical landmark
Located on the north end of Myrtle Beach, The Original Benjamin's Calabash Seafood offers an award-winning and world-famous 170-item buffet overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. This seafood buffet is known for its Calabash style cooking, offering a variety of fresh local seafood, a made-to-order pasta station, a carving station, crab legs bar, and in-house bakery for freshly made desserts.
This was our first time at the restaurant, and we were warmly greeted by the kind staff right away. Our waitress was excellent—very attentive and made sure all our needs were met. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. While we initially weren’t sure what to expect, we ended up really loving the flavors and quality of everything we ordered. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great service and food.

Excellent Seafood Buffet! Great location and overall top service! The atmosphere feels like stepping inside a ship with the waitresses formally dressed as sailors. The food is fresh and amazing selection of everything you can think of. Highly recommended and will come back again! A+

Came at 4pm, left at 6pm. Food was hot, lots of variety, and crabbb legggssss!! I pretty much went for crab legs and ate sooooo much. They kept it stocked and had no issues keeping up with the crowds. Restaurant is quite large and very creative and unique dining rolls. The calabash (fried) seafood was quite tasty and some of the sides like Mac and cheese, crab something, and green beans were yummy. The tuna and salmon were not great. But the crab legs and fried shrimp were on point so I was happy! Felt like a Vegas buffet. $50 for unlimited crab legs was worth it!
David M — Google review
This place is simply wow! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The buffet offers an impressive variety of dishes, from seafood classics to hearty sides. The décor is spectacular – the whole interior is designed like the inside of a grand ship, with detailed nautical touches everywhere. There are ship models throughout, including an impressive Titanic replica, and even the servers are dressed in captain-style uniforms, which really adds to the atmosphere. As soon as you arrive, a doorman greets you and opens the door, making you feel like a special guest. There are plenty of tables, so it’s comfortable even when busy. It is on the expensive side – with tips, dinner for three came to $195 – but the quality, unique setting, and overall experience made it well worth it.

We were giving the main dinner room seating and the ambiance was perfect with the ship and fish tanks. The food was hot and well prepared. We went during the week and off season so we had no wait. Sat immediately with no wait for crab legs. Children are allowed here and they were all pretty well behaved. Pasta chef was awesome. After I added my seafood, it made the perfect dish. The server was fast and brought fresh steak knives and drinks when needed. Would go back again without hesitation.
Angalica G — Google review
We had a fantastic experience with Lily being our waitress. She was simply amazing and always there even before we needed her. The food was spectacular as always, we simply love this place. They offer the most crab you can ever eat in one setting. Not to count the ribeye steaks are phenomenal, and also part of the buffet. Everybody there has a smile and very professional, but also very homely. It’s one of the few places that is still family owned.
Sam — Google review
This place is very good for a buffet the quality and standards they have are above what a typical buffet would offer. The atmosphere was great there was a lot of different artifacts and things to look at. The food was great quality as well as they kept it fully stocked so you don’t have to worry about missing out on trying anything. The overall price is higher than typical buffets but you get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we did not have to wait long at all to get in. The only issue I had with the buffet is the over crowding. There are way to many people in the building so it feels very cluttered when you get your food. I do not recommend for anyone with social anxiety. Overall this place was a great experience and we really enjoyed it!

The giantest seafood buffet on the planet with constantly changing selections to choose from, fried, steamed and broiled. The food was so good I waaaay overstuffed myself! My server had the most delightful southern drawl I'd heard in years. A very worthwhile experience.

Pier 14 Seafood Restaurant, Gift Shop, and Fishing Pier is a long-standing oceanfront establishment that offers a variety of seafood dishes and cocktails in a relaxed setting. The 600-foot-long pier, originally built in 1926 and rebuilt after being damaged by Hurricane Hugo in 1989, is attached to the famous Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. It's a popular stop for those seeking great views, exciting fishing opportunities, and fantastic dining experiences.
This restaurant is located on the pier, and the vibe is absolutely amazing! Our male waiter was great! Such a nice guy and did not act inconvenienced once by all of our questions and requests. He was fabulous at his job. However, the food was the main event. Drinks were ok because they weren't outrageously priced, just okay. Omg! I'm still thinking about the Pier 14 Ocean Crustacean. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We would definitely go back.
Raychel R — Google review
I swear I reviewed this a few days ago right after the meal, but it's not showing up so here goes, but more briefly. Our server Natasha was excellent. She was helpful and attentive without ever being intrusive. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We loved both ways the scallops were prepared and the sauce on the white fish was delicious. The garlic mash was top notch as well as the humble rice dish that accompanied the seared scallops. Bottomless iced tea was the icing on the cake. Sitting on the deck for dramatic yet soothing scenery while hurricane Erin raged offshore only enhanced the experience. The sea breeze, the crashing waves, the gray churning sky, and the pigeons, all added character to our dining experience. The musical selection took me back to a time when I'd visit the beach as a teenager. We topped it all off with a walk to the end of the pier to see what the fishermen were catching and a trip to the gift shop. Got a hat I've been looking for for the last 3 years at a great price. This place is a very good deal -- delicious food, fair price, and all kinds of atmosphere. UPDATE: Came back Tuesday for lunch with friends. Still 5 stars. Ian was a great server, the white fish Reuben is the best Reuben of any kind I've had anywhere in the world, and the mahi mahi tacos were outstanding.

You definitely pay for the atmosphere. I was here at the end of October for lunch. It was very easy to get a seat outside right on the water. It was so nice enjoying my lunch in the sunshine with the sounds of the ocean. I ordered salmon tacos with fries. The food was really good, but the portion size, especially the fries, was a little small for the price. Even with the smaller portion size, I highly recommend visiting during the off season.

This is our second time here; it is our favorite ocean-front restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The menu is broad enough to suit everyone, from simple sandwiches and tacos to foodie delights. I had the poke tuna nachos. The (raw) tuna was fresh and flavorful, complemented by seaweed salad and a sprinkling of sesame seeds, all atop a pile of fried wontons and drizzled with just the right amount of wasabi and teriyaki sauces. My spouse was pleased with his salmon BLT, as well. The restaurant is right on the pier and boasts both shaded and sunny outdoor seating as well as a large indoor area with fantastic beach and ocean views. Great service, great atmosphere, and wonderful food. You can't ask for more than that!

The food was amazing! You have to try the Lobster Risotto Bites — they were incredible. Everything on the menu was fairly priced, and Trevor, our waiter, was super friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great dining experience. Highly recommend!

Repeat visit and was just as great! This time remembered to take a few food snaps too. Tried the tuna poke nachos which were SO good! Also ordered the seafood combo and everything was cooked to perfection. Friendly service and great views combined with fantastic seafood, make for a memorable experience. Thanks to all the staff at Pier 14!

Came on a Sunday afternoon in October. Plenty of seating available. The service we received from Desera was top-notch. She’s friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the blackened Mackerel fish tacos, they were done perfectly. I also had the Apple Cider mimosa, so yummy! We sat outside on the deck, it was fantastic! This was my 2nd time here, wnd my first experience was great as well. I’ll definitely come back again.

Very delicious seafood. Girlfriend and I started with the Poke Tuna Nachos and we were immediately blown away with the flavor, absolutely delicious. Scallops were seared beautifully and were delicious. The Grouper and mashed potatoes were also spot on with flavor. The only portion of the food that lacked was the slaw. It was dry and didnt have much flavor. The only downside was the traffic walking to and from the pier and having kids stare into the window as they walked by while we were eating. Overall great experience and service. Would definitely recommend.

Fire & Smoke is a popular gastropub located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Since its opening in 2014, it has gained a strong following for its handcrafted cocktails and upscale American cuisine. The menu features a variety of enticing options, including Wild Boar Meatloaf, Chophouse Truffle Burger, Seafood Jambalaya, Mountain River Elk Chops, and Prime Lamb Chops.
I have dined here a few times with my friend had a great time sitting at the bar and meeting new friends. Food presentation is gorgeous and it tastes just as good. Carrot curry soup had a great flavor profile and I am still thinking about it. The pork belly just melts in your mouth. I got to full for the chicken but had to try some and it has a great flavor to it.

My best friend and I had a wonderful dinner at Fire and Smoke. She had the lamb chops and said they were delicious. My filet was and cooked to perfection. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. Only complaint was the cake it was a bit to dry for us but other than that it we had a great time.

We ate here on a recommendation for a nice place with good steak for our daughter’s birthday. It was outstanding - our daughter said it was the best filet she has ever had. I enjoyed the Long Island Strip steak - the charred flavor is unique and so tasty. We also liked our appetizers which were also delicious. We were tempted to return even though we were only in Myrtle Beach for 3 nights, it was that good. Would definitely return.

Food is incredible and consistent as this was my 7th or 8th time dining there over the past 3 years - always a must go to when I am in Myrtle Beach. Food portions are appropriate for the course and beautifully presented. Enjoy sitting at the bar as the locals and Alex (bartender) are great to talk to. Many specialty cocktails offered - never have had a bad one as I like to try different cocktails each visit. They care about their customers as the owners/chef will often visit to make sure everything is okay and that you are happy. Going back again next week before leaving town.

What a great dinner. All of the food was prepared perfectly. I started with the scallop appetizer. Perfectly cleaned and cooked. Best scallops I've had in years. The beet carpaccio was fantastic and the smoked sea salt to finish it was an excellent addition to the dish. I had the elk chops for my entree. I am now an elk chop lover. The chops were tender and cooked to my request at medium rare. I highly recommend eating here. It is definitely worth the price.

This was our first time at this restaurant. I chose it for my birthday dinner. I reserved the table 2 weeks prior to our going. We were sat all the way in the back by the kitchen and bathrooms (strike 1) no the restaurant wasn’t full and other tables WERE available. It took about 15-20 mins for our server to come greet us (strike 2). No lamb chops were available (strike 3) so we orders 2 medium (temperature) plates of the elk chops. The server asked if we were sharing a plate we both said NO. Only 1 plate was bought out to the table. We both looked at each other and asked where the other plate was. He said oh I assumed you were going to share a plate. We asked for it to be packed and we paid the check and left. We had more than enough to pay that check plus the rest of the restaurants. But to assume we couldn’t was a slap in the face. Then he packed the meal without the glaze on the chops. That was the highlight of the meal. And for strikes 4-10 they gave us burned food! They will never see another penny of my money. And all of that I still left the server a $25 tip! Needless to say my birthday meal was not how I would’ve wanted it to go.
Artrina R — Google review
We were a party of 4 with no one else in the restaurant, and Took 45 min to get our food. Steak was looking so raw we asked waiter (who was very nice) to take it back and correct it. Between me and my wife, 2 plates , 2 drinks and Tip… our meal was $212!!!! The steak when corrected was ok. The ambiance and visuals inside is very boring and plain, and super humid inside. Experience is no where near that $ amount at all. Highly disappointed

If you don't research the food places in this area, you are bunch to miss this gem. We called all over town trying to find an upscale eatery to celebrate our honeymoon. As soon as the host answered the phone we knew this was the place. Amazing food! I had the Elk (house special) and the Mrs has Lobster escargot. For drinks I had the smokey glass bourbon. Then...the dessert...I mean WOW. 12 layer caramel delishiousness and a house made Nutella dish. 10/10 absolutely recommended for a upscale experience.

New York Prime is a high-end steakhouse located just a short walk from The Strand. It has been serving top-quality USDA prime steaks, fresh seafood platters, and an extensive wine list for over two decades. The restaurant has received numerous awards for its best steak and diners' choice. In addition to their delicious steaks, they also offer fresh seafood options such as colossal baked shrimp and Florida stone crabs.
The service was immaculate. They have valet parking. The staff will accommodate any request you have (I proposed to my girlfriend, so I had a lot of requests. She said yes). Everything we had was to the best quality from the drinks, appetizers, and main dishes. I couldn't recommend this place high enough. Will definitely come again!
Benjamin C — Google review
Our server was great and the food was delicious. The only reason I didn’t give New York Prime 5 stars is because the restaurant is a little small and when you spend over $300 for a meal you expect a complimentary desert for the birthday girl, but she wasn’t offered one. Overall I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Tuwoski C — Google review
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here Monday night. The ambiance was perfect. The service was impeccable. Valet parking was a really nice touch! I thought the crab cake was probably the best that I have ever had. The Caesar salad was also delicious. We enjoyed the cheese mashed potatoes and asparagus as well. I chose the bone in ribeye and I would give it a 2 out of 5. If I went back, I would order the crab cake as my entree and not a steak. But overall, I enjoyed dining here and thought it was a very nice experience!

This was our 2nd visit to this top tier, 5 STAR restaurant and we are officially woo'd! The exceptional service began the moment we arrived, when the valet hurried to escort us from the rain with an oversized umbrella, the welcoming and pleasant hostess and support staff, topped by the genuinely personable, informative server who went above & beyond with our multiple requests. The lobster bisque was a revelation, the oysters by way of Cali were uber fresh, briney and delectable! And the entrees stole the show when we devoured the most tender and flavorful Sea Bass and medium rare Prime steak. 10s across the board - we'll be back again and again.
Myrtice M — Google review
The atmosphere was amazing, the food was some the best I ever had. The crust in the steak was perfect, dirty martini, sides and dessert was delicious! Saying all that, to only say our server was the best I have ever had! Lizzie offers the best server I have ever had the opportunity to experience. I truly hope the management appreciate the quality of service she brings to their establishment. Amy was the management on this evening and was very pleasant, and runs a great team. Everyone was pleasant. If Lizzie ever wants a career in real estate, we have an great opportunity at Century 21 Miller Elite in Amelia Island, Florida.

I love carpaccio and can’t get it where I live. I drive about 3 hours to enjoy a special meal for my birthday. The carpaccio appetizer was larger than most portions and very tasty! Highly recommended! If you’re a steak lover, this place is heaven on a plate. The 12 ounce filet was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The char on the outside had that perfect smoky crispness, while the inside melted in my mouth. The grilled asparagus was an excellent side that complemented the meal beautifully. Service was friendly and professional without being overbearing, and the manager even stopped by to make sure everything was perfect. The ambiance is cozy yet upscale — ideal for a date night or a celebration dinner. Worth every penny! We were celebrating my birthday and the restaurant placed “Happy Birthday” glitter across the table with a birthday card! Now that’s a special touch!

What can I say? No restaurant can come close to NY Prime. I had the Center Cut Filet which was exceptional. The Baked Shrimp appetizer was delicious. My husband said his Delmonico Steak was better than my Filet. They were both mouth watering but my Filet wins hands down. As always the service is impeccable.

The Library Restaurant is a sophisticated dining establishment known for its refined atmosphere and upscale French cuisine. The menu features tableside-prepared dishes like Beef Wellington and Chateaubriand for two, as well as starters such as escargot Chablisienne. The restaurant's elegant ambiance and impeccable service create an intimate dining experience. Additionally, the speakeasy-style 88 Keys bar offers live music and expertly crafted cocktails, making it a perfect spot to visit before or after your meal.
Love the vibe of this restaurant. The artwork alone is wonderful. Great spot for an anniversary dinner or business dinner. The food was exquisite and very flavorful. I had the lamb and crab app, which was delicious! The cheese dip is also amazing. The bar tender also makes a fantastic blue cheese stuffed olives dirty martini. The bar has a great drink selection for wine and beer as well. This restaurant connects to a separate bar called 88 keys. 🎹 Which is also an amazing place. I have tried their tips and fries, and they were delicious. Beautiful place. Great service. There is plenty of parking and great music. Thank you for the great hospitality, every time.

A quiet, comforting place with steak that cut like butter. I've never eaten a steak so fast! The halibut was recommended to my husband (ofc I had to skim some from his plate) and it was delectable. I tried escargot for the first time here; they were everything that I'd hoped they'd be. I wish to come back some day soon because it's going to be hard for any place to top that steak.

The Library Restaurant was a delightful find along the Northern Myrtle Beach Coast. The Library was started in 1974 with a traditional and elegant sense of French cuisine and the magical culinary arts of old school French dishes. My wife and I were fortunate enough to visit the Library, soak in the menu, and truly enjoy the quiet Library themed establishment with only a few other guests. I was made aware that the chef, like many French chefs, is very resistant to changing his dishes, but he does make a very reasonable accommodation for food allergies. However; he was able to navigate my Gluten Allergy without any incident, and our experience was wonderful. We hope to visit again soon! P.S. I would highly recommend visiting the Piano Bar next door for the nightcap 😉

Hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had. Start to finish perfect. I don’t know how they pack so much flavor into everything, even the little steak bites but WOW, so good. The filet could be cut with a plastic butter knife if you needed to. Nice, quiet atmosphere. Just enough time between courses to allow you to really enjoy it. Christian was our server and was absolutely on it. I can’t think of a single thing that could be done better. Can’t wait to go again.
