I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Red Light. The staff serve a really tasty pear cider or Kozel (both Lager and Dark) from the tap. I also recommend tasty vodka shot sets or a bottled Holba! :-) The Red Light is a melting pot of people of various background, but they all have in common they want to enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the pub, or just enjoy a beer/vodka shots/cocktail. The staff is another positive point. I was served by Daniel and his green-shirt colleague with a moustache. The guys were really attentive and nice to the guests. As I will be probably back in Gdańsk in a quite short time, I won't miss on the Red Light even at that time!

So Pub Red Light is such a mood. It’s dark, kinda mysterious, and the second you walk in, you’re like, “Okay yeah, we’re staying here for a while.” The red lighting makes everything look cool (and honestly, makes you look better in pics too lol). The music was chill — not too loud, just enough to vibe to — and the drinks were super affordable. I had a beer and a shot (or maybe two 😅) and everything went down way too easy. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for hours, lose track of time, and have deep convos with friends about life or just gossip about random stuff. No judgment, just good energy. Not super touristy, which I loved. Just laid-back, slightly edgy, and totally my kinda night spot. If you want a place that feels underground but safe and fun — Red Light is it.

Delicious food, great vibes! 🍔🍕🍹 The burger was juicy, the fries crispy, and the pizza full of flavor with a perfect crust. Cocktails were super refreshing, and the beer hit the spot. The atmosphere is cozy with lots of greenery, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Loved everything—highly recommend!

We visited this bar a few nights during our trip. The atmosphere was good and we really enjoyed being there. The only small minus I would say is the customer service. When paying by card (as a foreigner), the bartender chose to directly exchange the rate to euros, which added almost 10% more to the price of the drinks as an transaction fees. This was a bit annoying but otherwise a very nice place

Beautiful place! There are practically no visitors there during the day. Turning off the noisy street, you can enjoy the unusual interior with the sounds of minimal techno, eat a juicy burger and drink delicious tea (or something stronger) :)

A popular bar with plenty of character and a fun circus-themed vibe. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and while the drinks were just okay, the overall experience makes it worth a visit.

Fantastic cocktail bar themed on circus. The staff give you an unforgettable experience with each cocktail which is served to represent the name. Eg the Houdini which comes in a locked box with a key to open it, and when you do, the cocktail has very an extraordinary flavour. Can’t be missed

Flisak '76 have some of the most unique and entertaining cocktails I've ever had! We tried 6 different cocktails in total from their theatrical menu and all were very tasty. The Houdini 'locked box' was my favourite. The bartender was great; very attentive and gave an introduction on each and every cocktails we ordered. All with their own story. Loved the place and would highly recommend!

Paulicarus had no idea how many bars were within a 2 minute walk of our apartment when he booked his holiday with Boothroyd Bear. A short stroll and here we are. The roadside seating still busy on Sept 9 2025. Slight chill in the air but still pleasant in a T shirt. A craft beer bar so we both went for double vodka and a shared bottle of 7 Up. 62 zl. Too noisey inside. Booth bought me a supper of Maltesers ( from across the road) for post night out munchies.

Great atmosphere, variety of home made liquor tastes, good beer. Staff is dog friendly.

Disgusting Amber beer and an unpleasant waiter who just stands in the doorway and looks into the street. I wanted to try the good craft beer at the Labeerynt, but got the wrong door. This pub is in the same building as the Labeerynt. Be careful and go down to the basement so you don't spill Amber beer down the drain like I did.

Best bar in Poland, I think. The beer is great and the staff are awesome. Machek particularly is a great guy!

One of the most stylish places in Gdansk. Good vibes. We only drank beer but the cocktails looked good. The interior is a museum worthy visit. Maybe a bit of light of a candle outside would be nice as it gets pretty dark at night. But overall great experience ❤️

Great bar for some fun themed cocktails. Lovely atmosphere, with care put into the comfort of patrons. We went for a nightcap and thoroughly enjoyed the vibes.

A lovely eclectic bar interior split over two floors inside. ( An upper mezzanine) Out in front there is pavement seating at ground level. We went up the stone stairs to the upper outside terrace. A lovely spot with great views. Paulicarus says that it a shame we found it on our last night in Gdansk. He ordered a 0.5l Kozel for 19 zl. Booth had a Martini Rosso on the rocks for 22 zl. Decided to make the most of it and stay for more.

I was in Gdańsk recently with my wife for the first time in many years. We both were talking about this really cool bar we once went to…and it turned out to be exactly the same place! So happy to see that after all these years it still exists.

I don't write reviews often but this gem of a place deserves one. I've spent yesterday's evening in here - the coolest and most eclectic interior ever, a playlist of matching greatness, retro colourful lights, amazing drinks, great company and just an overall fantastic atmosphere. London, New York, Paris, this is one of my favourite bars I've ever visited.

I honestly don’t understand all the glowing reviews here. It was the worst bar experience I've ever had and I’ve been to plenty of places. 1. Service - nonexistent. I stood at the bar waiting to be served while bartenders stood there casually chatting and completely ignoring me and other guests. Eventually they did me a favor and asked what I wanted. 2. Drink was a joke. I ordered a non alcoholic margarita and it came as a half a glass of sour juice for 24 zł. No complexity, no effort, not a properly made drink, just overpriced nonsense. 3. The place itself? Dirty and neglected. When we arrived, tables were full of dirty glasses. No one was cleaning. My husband literally had to clear the table himself and bring things downstairs while the staff stood around chatting again. So here you are paying for decor (which is nice) and attitude, not quality. Avoid if you care about actual experience.

Cool, retro and friendly small pub with lots of shots (and more, sometimes food). The Bloody Mary shots are really good. Try Chernobyl too. It is different and fun. Open late.

Bar street in Gdansk starts to come to life as darkness falls. First visit here. A good size pavement terrace, up a few stone steps to the bar. Paulicarus having a 0.5l Perła beer for 16 zl. First Perła this holiday. Booth had a large wine for 18 zl. Not one he would recommend. Nice spot. Music a bit loud inside but fine drifting out onto the street.

Just back from a few days in Gdansk and this was my favourite bar. The beer (Perla) is the nicest we had on our visit. They also sell Plum Soplica, which is my favourite flavour. From experience, not all bars stock it. Only downside is that it's not a very big place and therefore hard to get a seat as it's so popular. Highly recommended.

a really nice place in the old town. a local classic. the drinks are alright not super but good for their price. it opens till very late so in the old town of gdansk night, with a few great friends it feels really good.

We had a blast here one Thursday night for karaoke, and had so much fun watching people get really into the Polish pop music. We couldn't understand anything amd didn't care, it was a lot of fun.

Pretty good, cause we have been recommended by our friends, cause they told us the alcohol was really strong but once we tried, it was really fascinated and very impressed, I really enjoy the cherry, and we stayed at Gdansk 2 days, but we drink 3 times. Very recommended for everyone who like cherry flavored drinks!

A really interesting concept where you only order sour cherry liqueur: hot, cold, large, or small. The interior is absolutely stunning, and the liqueur itself was surprisingly excellent. A real treat is having it served in a chocolate shot glass. What I couldn’t quite wrap my head around was the guy behind the bar who he seemed completely uninterested, yet somehow he fit the place perfectly, and without him, it wouldn’t have had the same vibe.

I think I’m obsessed with this liquor, it tastes so good!! Had to buy a bottle to bring home, also the tote bags and merch are really cute as well! Highly recommend!! One of the best experiences we’ve had in Gdansk

This place does one thing, but does it very well, Cherry Liqueur, you can have it hot or cold. Cold comes in a chocolate cup. Loved the drink, and the cherries at the bottom of the glass do pack a punch. Well worth a visit if you are nearby

“We only have cherry liquor” and that’s literally it - but the liquor is indeed really good. You get the choice hot or cold, and that pretty much it. The bartender told me promptly that this is all that they have. Not the nicest attitude, borderline rude, spend most of her time on the phone. But honestly the drink is worth the experience.

This is a delightful little place! They only serve sour cherry liqueur (hot or cold) and it’s delicious. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is great - I can only recommend it. We went back several times during our stay in Gdańsk.

Lovely guys! We were super early and we were able to watch them making fresh Sirup and juice for their amazing cocktails. I have never tasted something like The polish zombie before. Super creative idea to combine berry flavour with a shot of coffee. Absolutely recommended. Also they gave us warm popcorn and were very kind and hearty.

We arrived shortly after opening and the bar was quiet. The staff were absolutely brilliant, explaining the unique menu and ensuring that we were happy throughout our visit. The cocktails were unique and beautifully presented with individual flourishes linked to each cocktail. Most importantly, they were delicious! Definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough about this bar. The people working there were extremely friendly, but also super hardworking. They are like artists. It was amazing to watch them do their craft with such passion. And the results are amazing. Our drinks were some of the best drinks I've ever had in my life. Cannot recommend them more. You have to check this place out.

My visit to Craft Cocktails was excellent from start to finish. The drink menu is creative and expertly crafted – you can clearly see the passion and skill behind it. The Earl Grey Negroni was perfectly balanced: the classic bitterness was complemented by a subtle tea aroma that gave it an interesting and refreshing twist. One of the best versions I’ve ever tasted. Another standout was the Bambi – delicious, inventive, and just the right amount of unusual. The flavor was rich yet very easy to enjoy. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed. Definitely a place worth returning to – I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a good cocktail.

If you like classic cocktails with a spin, or unique cocktails with local ingredients, this is the place for you! I got the Trial of the Grasses for my first drink and the Mad cocktail for my second. Both were strong, well-balanced and thoughtfully presented. The place is cosy, sleek and well decorated. The music is good and not too loud, the staff is kind and service is prompt. Great solo spot or a place for a date night. Worth every złoty!

Wow! Unfortunately we found this little gem at the end of our 2 week trip to Gdansk. The cocktail selection & quality is amazing. Everything we tried was superb, well balanced, & rivaled the best bars we've visited around the world. Kudos to the amazing bartender and creative minds that formulated the drink menu. The service is pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Pawel, our server, made our experience a great one with pleasant conversation & super suggestions. They also have a great location in the center of the Old City of Gdansk with outdoor seating where you can enjoy the city atmosphere & people waych while being a bit removed in a cozy outdoor cocktail garden. I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Gdansk.

During my many visits to Gdansk this is the best cocktail bar I have been to. We were with five of my friends on a stag party and our waiter was Patric, who made sure we had a good atmosphere the whole evening. He also gave us good tips about the local nightlife and where not to go as a tourist. Big extra points for this We ordered several different cocktails and the story and show that came with them made a deep impression. The price-quality ratio is right with drinks being around ~10eur. A must go place in my opinion. 5/5

During our trip to Poland from Greece, we visited this amazing cocktail bar. Great atmosphere, great drinks. The guys there knew their stuff and were super kind! I had one of their special cocktails, the "ultimate negroni". It entered my top five drinks list (of my entire life). Should you ever be at Gdansk, pay a visit!

I was there yesterday, and it was an amazing experience. This bar got a unique and cool concept. I was served by the waiter/bartender Patrick and I ordered the Bird in a cage (Got served a birdglass in an actual cage) and my friend got the Refreshing bath (got served a bathtub with a lot of eatable-foam) I’ll add clips to my review. Again, big thanks to Patrick for the best bar-experience of my life.

Tasty food, low prices for the center of a highly touristic area. Love how clean and well kept the place is. There are lots of seats, both indoors and outdoors. And the queue moves very quickly. Took one point off because the food is a liitle too salty for me.

This was extremely impressive, the shop is a little like a work/school canteen, but please don’t be put off. Read the list of food items before joining the queue. The food quality is excellent, the price is inexpensive, the staff are helpful, English is spoken a little. The service is fast but the quality is very high. I’ve heard about Polish milk bars from our tour of communism. I had an idea that they are similar to Filipino turo-turo (point-point) where you can tell the person behind the counter what you would like. There are usually several options and the meals are generally inexpensive. As it has been chilly, I’ve been craving soup. The lady taking the order thankfully speaks English so I didn’t have to embarrass myself with my limited Polish knowledge, phew! She told me what she had for soup and I selected beef stroganoff. She asked if I wanted bread with it which I declined. I wanted to try their pork cutlet which I obliged to have with mashed potatoes. The soup, the pork dish and water amounted to less than $15 which is certainly less expensive than most cities in the US. The soup and dish were both delicious. Just couldn’t give them 5 stars as I felt the pork would have been much better if it was hot and crunchy(it was just warm). The soup could have also been hotter. I think they don’t wipe the tables as often as they should either. This milk bar is nicely decorated though. Considering it is very close to the city center, it is undoubtedly great value for money. Oh, btw, they have an English menu but I didn’t see it until before I left 😄

In the heart of Gdańsk old town, serving delicious Polish home style dinner staple dishes, tasty and perfectly seasoned, good choice, very reasonable prices. Nice friendly service with a smile. If you want to try traditional Polish dishes, simple yet delicious, that's definitely a place to go.

Good selection of classic Polish dishes at very fair prices. Service is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy. Simple but clean interior, with a casual and relaxed atmosphere. A great place to enjoy hearty local food without breaking the budget.

The Bar Mleczny is nicely decorated and modern. Some dishes were very tasty, while others weren't. Unfortunately, the cheesecake was a bit burnt. Compared to similar restaurants, it was a bit expensive.

Important to visit to get a taste of the traditional milk bars. The prices were quite low, which is great for a quick and homey meal. You will only like the food if you appreciate Polish food.

A very cozy and less touristy bar located on a side street off Long Market. The bar serves nice small dishes if you get hungry, as well as a variety of local shots — especially the Chupa Chups is worth trying, along with the house-made blackcurrant shot. Definitely worth a visit.

Time travelling experience to my childhood. Lovely pub, not too clean, but it has nice atmosphere, they have beer, shots and some food we haven't tried. Stuff was nice.

Paulicarus brought us to this great bar, part of a chain offering great value drinks. 15Zl for a 0.5l Warka beer. 17 Zl for a flavoured vodka and Sprite. All of their bars have a similar look. Only 20 metres off the main drag next to Hard Rock but few tourists apart from Boothroyd. Small front pavement seating for about 16 people. Toilets a little bit lacking.

Good bar with simple drinks and the food which I would not risk to try here. Terrebly dirty place, tables and floor are sticky, you cannot put your arm anywhere. But prices are quite good. If you look for a cheap simple drink this place is for you, but you should wait the queue

I just love these shot bars. They are all over Poland and they're just great! Its super cheap but the quality and service does not suffer at all. Please go here! The food, the shots, the atmosphere, the service. 10 out of 10! Sit at the counter for the full experience!

Great sports bar in a wonderful old medieval cellar. Only ordered chips to eat with my Guinness, (which were really good) but they have a nice pub grub menu which I'll try in the future.

I know it a pub and generally there are good food and atmospheres , but we travelled with strollers and two more kids, and found out that the place is deep in the basement with two levels of stairs. There were no tables on the street.

Hidden Gem of Gdansk. From the outside you don't see much but when you take the stairs to the basement is a big cellar looking room..they show soccer matches. The bartender was so friendly. We were sitting at the bar and he was joking a lot. It was so much fun. Even though it's an Irish pub they serve local beer..on the photo is a traditional mulled beer. I loved it. Definitely worth a visit! 💫

I went here today Saturday July 16. and the young bartender immediately rejected our group just because my eye was draping. He said that I was too drunk. I was born with one of my eyes closed; therefore my eyes are always draped. This is in no way an appropriate way to talk to a potential customer. The way my eyes look are a deep insecurity of mine. This bar did not help.

Bar is in a cellar which makes it a bit different. Have large screen and two tvs to watch sport. Not the largest of bars but it is clean. Staff very friendly and accomodating even with larhe groups. Beers ar good and good selection of spirts. Guinness is good too. Visited several times during our trip and had a good time.

Oldest pub in Gdansk.A very Scottish theme going on with the place.Beers are good and prime viewing for people watching.At the time a political rally for the presidential elections was in progress so it was overly a lot busier then normal.

As a Scotsman visiting Gdańsk, it was only fair that I visited the oldest Scottish pub in the city. A quaint wee place with a good selection of drinks, especially whisky, that get your evening going. It was quiet when we visited (Tuesday night) but the staff were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. It's worth a visit.

A great little pub in the middle of Gdansk, a good watering hole if your thirsty walking around town,prices are cheaper compared to other bars.

Good location with great outdoor seating area. Was suitably busy when our group went on a Friday night, but easy enough to get served. Very loose on the Scottish theme. We were served lager in a Guinness glass which made our toes curl slightly! Nice to find a place that wasn’t table service too. We appreciated being able to go up to the bar to buy our drinks. Only has two toilets for everyone which were cramped and always had a long queue, so knocking a star off for this.

Really nice vibes! Adam made us AMAZING whisky sours with a side of kind, cheeky small talk. Definitely recommending U Szkota for whiskey lovers!

We went on a Sunday late evening drink It was a great experience we sat at the bar and the bartender was a star. Very friendly and polite. 5* just for him. Prices were pretty ok.

Came here on a Saturday, and there were like 10 people there. The club looks really cool on the outside, and is camouflaged as a hip industrial techno club. However, Bunkier is anything but that. Crap music. People who look way too young to be clubbing. Old people hitting on said young people. Truly nothing to write home about. Thankfully, there was one bartender who was really nice! He taught us some polish and was generally a nice guy. The beer was also very cheap, which was nice.

I would say avoid, unless you just want the experience partying in a bunker. The idea of this club is great, the interior is nice, the entrance is awesome. I really love clubs in industrial buildings, and a club in a bunker is even cooler. But the crowd was horrible, it half empty and super hot inside. The club looks like it will be little Berlin with electronic music, but it's as mainstream as it gets. The atmosphere was off. There were almost no women.

Not worth the entry of PNL 30. Like many of the reviewers have said, the idea of the place is great and the outside is really cool. The club has two floors with different ambiences. However, the it has a strong smell and the crowd was not fun. the bouncers weren't friendly either; not necessarily to me, but to other people and that really brings down the vibe of the place. I had one drink and then left. It was really a shame because I had some pretty high expectations.

There were like 20 people at most. And I mean after the midnight. Not worth visiting, although the idea of club itself is great.

Nice, cosy place and cool atmosphere, with fine local cuisine and a good selection of beverages, specially beers, also produced at the place. Low prices, great taste, comfortable atmosphere and a very nice staff.

Staff takes a very long time to get you seated/menus etc. Wheat beer was mediocre at best and you would be much better just going to a local supermarket. March beer was very good thou and that's the only one I would recommend. Will not come back.

My favourite place in Gdansk Old Town. Fresh home made beer, just amazing wheat beer highly recommended. Choice of few seasonal beer, drinks and cocktails. Browar Piwna is also good place for food. Staff very kind and helpful. Good atmosphere.

It's really good brewery / restaurant. They have three different draft beers (pilsner, wheat beer and seasonal beer) you can choose either small (0,4 liters) or a jug (one liter). Food is also very tasty. It's bar food so big portions and lots of meat but very, very tasty. Especially pork chops are really nice. You can also buy t-shirts or pints as a souvenir. I have been three times at Gdansk and this is the must place for visit each time! 😍 Service is always also good (which is not always the case in Poland). I highly recommend to visit and try their beers and/or food;

Probably the best place to have a beer in Gdansk. The place has a lovely selection of quality craft beers(some brewed by themselves). Great food and snack selection to go with it. Service was friendly and reasonably priced.

Food ok, but not overwhelming. During my stay the room was heated like a sauna. We were all happy to go outside without a second drink.

It is what it advertises. Super small place to have a shot or two. It is super tiny and does not even have a toilet. Picking the shot is kind of the most interesting part. Of course you can let the bartenders recommend something, based on your tastes. I do not recommend that, because the shots themselves are nothing special, but it is fun to pick and taste.

Even a person who doesn't like shots will find something to drink in that shot menu. Amazing place.

Shots were quite tasty, lots of choice. But after 9 shots we barely felt anything. So don't come here to get drunk, or even tipsy. Also the people behind the bar were unfriendly but their service was quick I guess. The place also very small so with a big group I'd go somewhere else.

Have been there several times with friends, great, cozy place, affordable prices and some cool promotions. They have a wide shot menu you will definitely have fun trying them. Recommend, even the location is great right in the city center.

Went to the club with a friend on our city break. Paid for entry and paid seperate to keep our jackets behind the counter. Couldn’t find our tag for our jackets and staff were extremely rude and abusive including name calling, would not give our jackets back after offering to pay even more to get them back as it was -5 degrees outside. The staff in there need serious training in customer service. Will never return or recommend this place to anyone. Horrible staff.

It was amazing. Went when it was the 2000s themed night on Saturday. Such good music, amazing atmosphere, amazing lights and drinks. The bar tenders cater to your taste and needs. The bathrooms where very clean. I felt safe and it is very good for 18-25 year olds. Only payed 30zł, which is a good price in my opinion. Would highly recommend and will be going again when I visit Gdansk in the future.

Watch out its a Scam for tourists. You can’t pay your drinks with cash, you need to fill up a card with cash and then you pay with this card. The scam works like that, you load your card with cash and when you want to leave they will try not to give you the rest amount. In my case they tried to cheat on me with 25€ After a discussion with the securities which tried to scare me with an aggressive behavior I stayed strong and forced them to give my money back and call the police. After my loud argument a manager came over and payed out my rest amount. But only because I speak polish and I don’t let people like that to steal my money. So you will be never be able to use all of your money because you will never hit the exact amount which you have on your card. I will never go there again and I don’t recommend it to anyone, it’s a shame for Poland that people like can act like that

This is a neat club in Gdańsk. It's large, plays mostly English songs and drinks are fairly priced. Great party on Saturday. However they don't accept neither cash or credit/debit cards. Only payment is with their own club card. You buy these cards in the club and load them with an amount of money of your choice. The big drawback is you cannot return the card and get unused money back. Pretty annoying.

Big club with nice music (DJ 🔝). Quite impolite guards. But the entrance fee (30 PLN) and additional fee for fitting room (5 PLN per piece) is a bit too much. At least the entrance fee should include the fitting room.

Cool forrest bunkers hidden between trees, not far from the sea. This area was heavily in action during ww2, and the whole coastline have clues from days gone. Recommended. Anyway, it's a nice hike in beautiful nature

Our random first dinner in Gdansk and it became our best meal in town so far! We came to Kubicki when it was raining outside, didn’t have much expectations. It turned out to be exceptionally good experience: excellent food, wonderful service and lovely ambiance. We particularly loved the crawfish soup - a superstar in Gdansk!

This is a proper restaurant with proper food and good service. On the tourist trail, but much, much better than the average tourist trap. Had risotto and the pork chop with apple pie for dessert. Lovely atmosphere and live piano entertainment.

Made reservations a few weeks in advance based on some research. Was only in town for a weekend but had a scrumptious dinner, with stellar service from a wonderful waiter and a great pianist which combined to make the atmosphere and experience superb. From the wonderful bread and duck fat spread, to the perfectly prepared duck and pork knuckle plates to the selection of wines, vodka and liquors. Ended buying a bottle of the just released chocolate plum (sliwka z nuta cezkolady) along with a bottle of quince liquor (likier pigwowy). Overall wonderful experience.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and I was truly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I would like to give special thanks to our waiter Max who made a great impression. He was attentive, polite, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It’s our family tradition to go to Kubicki since the opening my great grand parents used to go there with their children my grandparents with theirs and now the 4th generation still continues the tradition every time we are back in Gdansk. It’s a must the food is fantastic the service is 5 stars and they make you feel like you are at home. It’s a MUST when you are in Gdansk to have proper Polish food with amazing atmosphere.

The restaurant brews its beers on-site, adhering to traditional methods that use only water, yeast, malt, and hops. This approach ensures fresh brews, with beers flowing directly from brewing containers to the taps at the bar. We sampled their light, dark, and wheat beers, each offering distinct flavors that complemented our meals. The menu showcases Polish cuisine, featuring dishes such as duck with potato dumplings and red cabbage, pierogi filled with Kashubian goose meat, and pork knuckle roasted in honey, served with apple purée. The use of locally sourced ingredients and in-house preparation methods, such as making jams and bread from scratch, highlight their commitment to quality. Live music events featuring blues bands or a female singer enrich the dining experience on weekends. While the cozy setting adds to the charm, it can become crowded and loud during peak hours. Despite this, the combination of location, house-brewed beers, and traditional food makes Brovarnia Gdańsk a memorable part of our visit, so much so that we visited it twice to grab a meal.

The drinks at this place are very tasty, especially the whiskey sour XXL (seen in the first picture) and Hugo (the second picture). The schnitzel is also worth the hype, very good and big.

I highly recommend to try beef tartar in Poland a tradition. Polish Sushi. Also great beer here brewed!

Paulicarus came here back in 2014. The area has been transformed with new buildings since then. Having their home brewed Golden Pils 22 zl for a 0.5l glass. Definitely tell it is a home brew. Boothroyd Bear on a fancy Radler. Large front terrace by the river and large interior. Part of the Hotel complex. Attentive service.

Disappointing beer.. The Special Beer IPA tastes sour, and I struggle half way through a pint. All beers seem thick yellow - thank you, but your beer is not good. You should not claim to have "the best beer in Poland" - this beer is not even good...

Staying in the old town and this was the first restaurant we dined in. Has alot of different kinds of potato pancakes flavors which is very interesting. I thought the flavors were mixed but it was on the side. The potatoes were really tasty but dipping it in cream was different. Not bad different, just not-used-to different. The fish and chips was also not the usual but the fish itself had flavor and I enjoyed it.

To be completely honest - quite average. The food is okay, but nothing more. The portions are generous, prices are so-so, and the interior doesn't surprise at all. I wouldn't say it's a must-visit place in Gdańsk; you can skip it unless you're craving potatoes.

I have to admit, as a picky eater, some of the items on the menu made me nervous. I ended up ordering the trio jacket potato after coming to this place a couple of times for drinks. It came with the ham salad, another salad and some sauces. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get through 600+ grams of food but it was so good i couldn’t leave any behind! A real nice and simple eatery in Gdańsk.

Incredible flavor, highly recommended. I went with some friends because they recommended this place, when we arrived we were placed at a table outside, we waited a long time for them to take note of us (it is the only bad thing to highlight). I ordered a tomato soup (soup of the day) and it was incredible, a flavor that comforts you. Then I had a potato stuffed with bacon and gorgonzola cheese and I loved it, they are large portions and I couldn't take it all. Very very good place if you are looking for something abundant for a good price.

Unusual and very tasty dishes. The main base is done with big potatoes to which there are a lot of filling/souse options. They start with more local options with herring to more typical like Mexican food oriented. Everything is fresh and quickly served. Definitely something to check if you are looking for something new/local and you are bored about idea of another pizza 😁

In this restaurant you will find the best 🥔 stuffed potatoes, chicken, fish, cheese and many other ingredients. You can also enjoy their soups that change day by day. The service is good and the price is fair, you can enjoy a good view to the most traveled street in Gadanzk.

I enjoyed so many wonderful meals in Gdansk, which may be why I felt a little underwhelmed by my visit here. There was nothing bad or particularly negative about my meal but nothing very notable either. The starter was presented nicely, the main (a traditional breaded pork cutlet with potatoes) was well prepared and was a hearty portion. However I feel the price was definitely higher here than other places I visited and it did nothing to particularly earn the extra cost (especially as the city is full of affordable restaurants). Service was swift and acceptable but not particularly warm. It was... fine. One thing I didn't like was the decor though. It felt like it was straight out of an IKEA catalogue.

I came here twice, back to back, dinner the previous evening and lunch the next day…..that speaks for itself! Saturday evening there was a live singer who sang and played the guitar so well. The quality / flavours and portion of food, service and ambience are excellent! Few vegan options here. Wish had space for the desert which is very tempting to read in the menu and look at!

We went to the restaurant for lunch. The waiter was very good and accommodating and gave us information about Gdansk. I had the haddock that was like butter and delicious. This place is situated in very picturesque part of Gdansk. This is the definite plus of this place. We stopped there for quick breakfast. I had to look for staff to get the menu although they were hovering around setting the tables. Food was not too amazing. The omelette with burrata was really good but scrambled eggs were set almost like the omelette and too dry. Slices of baguette served with both were old and baking them couldn't quite hide this fact. Chewy rather than crispy. All in all we left with mixed feelings.

We ate breakfast there and just average place. I personally did not like it at all and would give 3 starts, but the rest of family said it is not that bad. A very lovely breakfast at a fair price. I had the eggs Benedict and Cesar salad. We also ordered the grilled salmon and desert. Everything was fresh and excellent. It took 40 minutes to get to my door after I ordered it I highly recommend trying them out!!

Found this place and have had breakfast and drinks everyday while in the area. The staff are friendly and speak English. They remembered us! There is an English menu. Prices are very good. We got the English breakfast set, scrambled eggs, two coffees (they have plant based milk - vegan - and lactose free milk available) and a big jug of red sangria. Total in GBP worked out to be about £30 for all of that! Food tasted amazing, coffee was delicious and the sangria was one of the best we've had! The atmosphere was lively enough but still chill. Never felt rushed to leave which was also really nice. I would 100% recommend to dine here!

We sat outside under an umbrella that saved us from the rain. The food was very good, served quite fast and was exactly as described in the menu. Coffee was not too good but I think you should come here for the food not the drinks.

Paulicarus brought us here for a breakfast treat. A very relaxing interior that also has outside pavement seating. We chose one of the inside booths for Boothroyd bear. Good and strong black classic coffee for 15 zl. Both ordered scrambled eggs with ham. Made with three eggs and come with two bread rolls each. 27 zl each.

Paulicarus back in Gdansk on first visit since 2014. Ordered a large Kasztelan ( a Polish brewery owned by Vilesberg) for himself but only a small one for his mate Boithroyd. Closest bar to our apartment but pricey. 35 Zl for 1 1/2 seems steep. ( 20 for large, 15 for small ) Sat on the sunny front terrace. OK bar but probably not returning.

Vyom was literally the best host I’ve met in my first night in Gdansk. Deserves a raise and every praise. Great bar!

Beer was great, 1664 blanc is a great drink, all the staff where on the ball and knew what they r doing, I had a burger and chips a lot of sauce on the burger which made it crap to pick up but I still enjoyed it, would I have all the same again. 100% YES

Fantastic selection of beers. As a fan of rock and heavy metal music this was a great place to be given they play exactly this at the place. Don’t forget to come to the basement. Staff is great, speaks fluent English, recommends the right beers and the prices are very friendly!

Great place for craft beers. The selection is nice with many kinds on tap. They play music that suits good beer. Prices are rather friendly compared to the high quality of the beers. They have lots of beer decoration inside the bar which is nice. WiFi is also there for those who need to stay connected 😉 I will definitely go there again, ...and again 😅 For first time visitors, make sure to go into the right entrance. Labeerynt is in the basement.

Two days of walking over 30,000 steps and multiple museums in Gdansk calls for a nice beer. I searched on craft beer and this venue popped up as the closest walk for us offering a nice selection of Polish craft beers and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended for parched tourists!

Cafe Kamienica absolutely stole my heart. Let me start a bit unconventionally, with the service, which was honestly some of the best I’ve experienced in a café in Gdańsk. The two gentlemen working that day were outstanding, real gems who absolutely deserve a raise! They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely engaged with the customers. They even managed to tempt me into a few extra sweet indulgences. Which brings me to what really matters in a café, the sweets and the coffee. Your coffee is excellent, though I must say the matcha was rather average, probably the only thing I could critique. As for the place itself, it’s incredibly cozy. In the afternoon, the balcony is bathed in soft light, and the view over the iconic Mariacka Street is simply stunning. All in all, I had a truly positive experience and will definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work!

Paulicarus think he came here on his first visit in 2014. A lovely little cafe on split levels. A pavement terrace, up several stairs to another terrace and bar area then stairs up for inside seating and the one toilet. A very relaxing spot on a quiet, almost traffic free, street. Boothroyd Bear ordered two Aperol Spritz to take us past noon. Lovely.35 zl per Aperol.

This place has really good food. Both the quiche and the apple pie were excellent. The coffee was also good, but perhaps not perfect.

Unfortunately, this café was quite disappointing. The service was extremely slow – after waiting more than 10 minutes, we had to go ask for the menu ourselves because no one came to our table. The hot chocolate with Baileys was very watery, tasted like it came from a packet, and I couldn’t taste any Baileys at all – if it was added, it was barely noticeable. The atmosphere was okay, but the poor service and low-quality drink really spoiled the experience. Overall, just an average place, and I wouldn’t rush to come back.

A beautiful small place with the most wonderful staff one can ask for. Thank you for a great time and for making me feel right at home. I have to add: I was there a second time. We have bene in Gdansk for only 4 days but in 2 of them we had a few drinks here at La Muerte, today and 2 days ago. Top quality drinks, Amazing atmosphere, clean Place with cool and well-behaved staff.

The cocktails were good. I missed a bit of the passion fruit taste in my pornstar martini and the passion fruit half that normally belongs in there. The restaurant was cozy with the heaters. My veggie quesadillas were good, spicy and tasty! Only the pork quesedillas were unfortunately not that tasteful.

Service is super slow. I had to go inside the restaurant to order (we sat outside), and the same applied to payment. We noticed that almost everyone was going inside to pay because the wait was so long. The food is disappointing. We ordered nachos thinking they would be covered in cheese and meat like at our city’s Mexican restaurants, but no - there were just tortilla chips straight out of the bag with some dips. The tacos weren’t bad - I would give them 3.5 stars. The quesadilla gets 3 stars. Cocktails are better, but the first frozen margarita was much tastier than the second, so the inconsistency was strange.

Paulicarus found this bar only a short walk from the apartment. It is primarily a craft beer bar that also sells pizza. I chose the 3.3% Garden beer at 17 zl for a large. Boothroyd tried it and did not like the smokey aftertaste. He had a large Sauvignon Blanc. Surprisingly large interior plus outside pavement seating.

Pulapka (the trap) is your refuge if you want to escape from downtown Disneyland, staff experienced and friendly, beer choice fantastic, pizzas crafted with feelings.

This is a really good craft beer bar. Nice selection of draft beer, but also a full fridge with some surprising beers. They also have pizza which tastes great too. This is a must visit if you like craft beer.

A wonderful experience at one of gdansks finest cocktail bars. We arrived one hour prior to closing and received a warm and gentle welcome by the two waiters (seen in the picture). The concept of the bar was explained to us with patience and dedication that made us feel welcomed and warm. Before making our first orders, the mixologist gave us an in depth consultation making sure to meet our expectations. All cocktails were straight 10/10 and we will come back for sure! P.S.: while reading some of the reviews rating the service badly, please note that those cocktails take time and love. If you order a Rolls Royce, don’t expect McDonalds.

We went to GATSBY twice during our stay. Really nice spot, beautifully set up amongst the idealic city view, with string lights. Cocktails are ~45 złoty, and were fantastic. I really liked how they had a wide selection of choices, each with a little history - it gives the chance to try something new, yet old. Service was impeccable, and we will definitely be visiting again next time we're in Gdańsk!

This was an extremely charming cocktail place. I went with a couple friends and we immediately bonded with the bartender, Kimil. He was super attentive: checking up on us, engaging in lively conversation, and even making drinks that he loved that weren’t on menu. He was super friendly and easy to talk to, and he made the trip worthwhile. The drinks were amazing too, with an extremely wide range of options.

We went right before closing and had a nice time, with the mixologist taking his time to explain the menu and prepare our drinks. The server however was kind of dry and mean. My friend offered to pay with cash and the server refused to accept the payment as he had already set up the payment for card, without the card payment haven’t been made just yet. Really detracted from the otherwise lovely experience the mixologist had created for us during our short time there. For the best experience, consider visiting during off-peak hours and engaging with the knowledgeable staff to explore unique cocktail options.

Great few hours in this classy cocktail bar. "Blonde"Michael was a great host and extremely knowledgeable about all of the cocktail varieties and origins of the Ingredients. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a slightly higher class of venue for a drink experience.

Amazing atmosphere and perfectly made classic cocktails. The staff is friendly, inviting and knowledgeable. Loved the Sprissetto Aperitivo version of Negroni. We visited several cocktail bars while in Gdańsk but kept coming back to Gatsby.

We stumbled over this bar and got greeted by nice waiter. The cocktail bar had a varied but exciting menu, with a rich history by every cocktail. We ordered a few cocktails, and got impressed by how the flavors really pushed the whiskey and rum flavors through. Would highly recommend.

Bar Leon is now probably a cult spot and a well-known place in Gdańsk. So, of course, I had to see what all the fuss was about — and now I get it. Every dish was incredibly delicious, full of flavor, and offered unexpected combinations for a Polish palate. Everything just works there — from the food to the decor to the service. I highly recommend it. Keep up the great work!

Truly amazing food. All plates were delightful but my favorite is the baked eggplant and baked feta. It was really nice served, with some toppings like pistachios. All dishes were extremely well prepared. I highly recommend this place!

Such a great vibe and amazing food. Got recommended this place by a bartender and can’t thank her enough. Bar Leon serves up sharing plates with a middle eastern touch. All the plates we tried were really good. Our favorite was the potato dish. The feta cheese dish was also very enjoyable as was the tartar. Dessert could perhaps be a little bit improved but still good!

Found this place by accident and we were very suprised. Nice cozy atmosphere, great selection of tasty drinks and friendly staff. They have special prices in weekdays till 19:00 if you are on budget. Had a great time here.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Located right in Gdansk close to the sea on your way to Sopot. Whiskey on the rocks is an American style bar and grill Jack Daniels themed restaurant. Lots of the food is made with the sweet and tangy Jack Daniels sauce. I absolutely highly recommend the baby back ribs. We got several appetizers and the jack and Coke can’t be beat. Highly recommend. Really nice outside seating in the summertime and service was amazing and friendly.

If you’re craving American food, Whiskey on the Rocks is a great choice. Everything from the menu to the decor exudes an authentic American vibe—big portions, classic dishes, and an atmosphere that lives up to the name. I really enjoyed the experience overall. The location is conveniently close to the beach, though the service was a bit slow and the prices are on the higher side. Still, it’s worth it if you’re in the mood for hearty American fare.

It's a very cool place, you can look and examine all the details of the interior while waiting for your order. We waited quite a while, but it was worth it. A big burger, you don't know how to start eating it. It's delicious! By the way, tea should also be tried. Combining different flavors.

Great spot in Gdansk for something different. Interior was fun but the drinks and service even better. Pawel served us and was great at recommending drinks. We didn't dine because we had eaten earlier but regretted this when we seen the food coming out. We will be back.

You'll find this bar in the basement so it's not accessible by everyone. But the atmosphere here is amazing. Artificial trees in this place with vines on the ceiling and some monkeys hanging hiding in those vines definitely creates an amazing vibe. There's a selection of some food like tapas, tacos or nachos that you can get here but it's not the place for full meal. You can also get two menus - clasic cocktais and a second menu of their own cocktails which are insipred by mythology. The place is not that big but it's full of people depending on the time you arrive there. All in all - it's good place for some cocktails to start your evening!

Ou waitress was amazing. Super friendly and hard working. Kindly greeted every table and then came back to check in. The dinks and atmosphere were great but the waitress really made our time here super.

We arrived late night on a Sunday and the place was not busy at all, we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves which made it even better since we could check out every game there was. With both board games and retro/video games to chose from. Creative names for the cocktails and the shots as well. A fun experience for people that love games of all kinds.

Let’s start with the positives: the cocktails and drinks were very good, and there was a nice selection of games available on the Xbox. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. What was an absolute no-go for me was the service. We were standing at the bar, and after what felt like 10 minutes, the bartender finally asked if he could help us. When we asked him how the concept worked, his response was: “You order drinks and can play — what’s not to understand?” He was extremely rude and dismissive. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like that. How are tourists or first-time visitors supposed to know how the place operates? I was also expecting more retro video games, but unfortunately, most of the arcade machines and consoles were turned off — only the Xbox was available. I also thought the bar itself would be more inviting, but the interior felt somewhat outdated and worn down, making the whole place a bit uncomfortable. Overall, it’s a great idea in theory, but very poorly executed — not to mention the rude bartender.

Me and some friends of mine went here a couple of days ago. The drinks and atmosphere were ok but there was a blond, tall ish guy as a bartender, who was extremely rude. We were sitting on the table and when i asked if we could order i got a "you order from here, this is not a restaurant as a response", we washed it off and chose our drinks. He asked to see our ids (while we clearly are all above 18, the younger guy in our group is 22). Since he was having trouble finding my birthdate i spelled it and he told me "thank you i can read" in a very uneducated manner. We sat on our table again and when the drinks were ready I asked if i could take the whole plate or if I had to just take the drinks. He told me I could take the whole plate and my friends saw him scoff and roll his eyes. After we finished our drink we asked if we could order again but he told us "I said last call", again, in a very rude way, and no one between my group heard him say that. I've never met somebody with such bad manners as a bartender.

As usual - great atmosphere, fun drinks and free games. You can bring your friends or make new ones once there. Good selection of games for rent but you can also bring your own. Wide selection of cocktails and other beverages. Lacking in food/snacks department. If you get hungry after hours of gaming and drinking - you're out of luck. Great nachos though! Staff is helpful, speaks great English and the place is overall clean and big.

Been here before and enjoyed the drinks but this time it did not live up to the expectations. We got drinks that were supposed to be set on fire but as you can see in the picture, they were not. The shots tasted good but should’ve been stronger

We got 4 different drinks and they were all incredible. The guys who work here are really nice and know a lot about combinations. The impeccable accuracy they put into the menu is really difficult to find. The tastes blended all amazingly well together, and the alcohol taste was not too strong but really enjoyable.

The cutest wee place, serving the best selection of truly different and unique cocktails that tasted AMAZING and looked spectacular! Also loved how each cocktail has an inspiration and story behind it which the staff are so passionate about sharing! We left very giggling after trying several cocktails. 10/10 recommend!!

Old school pub, off the beaten track, friendly staff, locals and two dogs. One of the best in Gdansk (if not the best). You don't fall in love with crazy bars, you go crazy for them!

Very friendly place, with great style (video tapes, old tvs , retro but funky) decent prices. Only down side is only 2 unisex toilets, so even men queue. But hey, it's worth it, just don't wait until the last minute

Amazing vibes, music and good prices. Did not taste the food, only beer. Perla beer was very cheap but not the greatest tasting. I recommend the other beer on tap for 17 zloty.

Terrible Experience for Tourists Unfortunately, my experience at this nightclub was completely unsatisfactory. My friends and I were treated very poorly by the staff, especially the door guards. They seemed to act violently and disrespectfully towards tourists, while treating locals entirely differently. The discrimination was glaringly obvious. As for the girls inside the club, many of them appeared to be trying to take advantage of tourists to get free drinks. It also seemed like everyone knew each other—from the staff to the guards—which made it feel unsafe to voice any complaints or act cautiously, as even the smallest reaction might escalate into an unjustified confrontation. I do not recommend this place for tourists looking for a safe and enjoyable experience.

I had a terrible experience. The reception staff was in a very bad mood and aggressive. While waiting in line, we had already noticed how poorly she treated other tourists, and unfortunately, she was just as aggressive with us. The discrimination against tourists was evident from the start, so we left immediately. I dont recommend this place to tourists.

Excellent place for beer lovers with great choice of draught and bottled brews. Most of beers are from the brewery that owns the pub-Browar Spółdzielczy from Puck. However they have always got a very good selection of guest breweries beers on tap too. The brewery and the pub a run by a very nice couple who are happy to help choosing the right beer for your taste, and like to chat about brewing, beers and anything you like to talk about :). A must visit place when in Gdańsk and Trójmiasto.

This is one of my favourite bars, the atmosphere inside is very calm and relaxing, lots of interesting board games, good selection of craft beers and very nice staff.

Great beer and great prices...cheaper than central Wrzeszcz. Friendly staff who offer tasters before ordering without you even having to ask. Inside was rather smelly, but fortunately it was quite a nice day so possible to sit outside. I had 3 small beers, and all 3 were very good. Definitely somewhere that I will return.

Great tucked away bar that is perfect for small groups our couples. Small and cosy with and underground seated bar area and a outdoor seated area. Beers are rotated on a regular bases offering some alternative and varied drinks from local craft brewers. Also has a good selection of whiskies. Cake is also available for snacking.

We regularly travel to Gdańsk and this place is always first on the list to visit, the Cocktail menu is a bit Avant Garde with its descriptions of the cocktails, which means that you never can be quite sure what might turn up, however every cocktail we’ve had from here has been outstanding. All very contrasting in flavour and garnishes. A big recommend to anyone who fancies a nice drink in a beautiful bar

Jägspot is the place I come to annually when I’m in Gdańsk. Always a great time! It’s a place with great atmosphere and even greater drinks. They’re tasty, creative and now even come with good non-alcohol variants. And the very original Ritual is something that everyone should try. :) I can’t also praise enough the easy going, super nice staff. I’m especially fond of Alicja, who made me feel super comfortable and welcome. She’s awesome! Oh, and the music - always good, be it awesome rock or a rich DJ set. Aaand the merch. And wood visualisations on TVs! Overall, wonderful spot for a Friday night. :)

We did not like the price-performance ratio. We had a "Mohito" - it was good, but the content of the drink was really small when you subtract the ice. We had a "piña colada" as a second course and it didn't impress us at all. The twist was interesting, but only in very warm weather - the drink was like an icy slush, the flavours were rather bland.

This bar is fantastic! The colorful menu is really creative and the Jägermeister-Cocktails are incredibly delicious. A huge shout-out to our server, Klaudia! She was so friendly and gave us the perfect cocktail recommendations. Good vibes by a live DJ included. Excellent service makes this place a must-visit, especially for Jägermeister fans.

Best burgers in Gdansk! This is by far my favourite place in the city. The burgers are amazing, the food is prepared fast and is presented in a great shape, the staff is friendly and the music gives this place the perfect vibe. Oh, I forgot to mention the desert! The brownie is truly out of the cooking books, made by a Masterchef. TIME OUT is the place that made me dream of returning to Gdansk. 10/10

Both waiting staff were very friendly and very attentive. Beer very reasonably priced, big screen showing the world cup. Chicken wings are not like in UK, they are whole leg and wing still adjoined, so get half of what you'd order in England. They are nice, but not that spicy. The jalapeño poppers however have a kick because they use the whole pepper, not just a slither like most places in England. WiFi password at time of writing is TIME OUT. Speed is over 70mbps

Amazing food, well priced and great atmosphere. Staff were lovely and it did get a little busy. We ordered the meat and cheese starter which was so well presented and delicious. I had the pork and pasta which was divine with a brush of chilli on the plate which whilst very decorative also added to the dish whilst letting me choose not to have it with every bite.
