Services was great, the champagne could have a been colder, we had to request an ice bucket, the waiter our glass full at all time and when we asked to move outside to finish our it wasn't an issue. Food was fantastic, BBQ pork ribs and the Russian dumplings where divine. I would definitely return.

Amazing food, we had to come back again. So many delicious dishes to choose from. The staff is kind and professional. Loved everything we ordered from soup, salad to lamb chops and grilled fish! So good. Highly recommend. Probably the best food in Yerevan.

One of the best meals we have in Yerevan. Prompt service and delicious food. We came down on fri nite after tour but it was packed and staff say walk in better after 9pm. So we made arrangements to come in at 7pm the next day.

A place to visit when in Yerevan!! Their are making live their bread and lavash with the traditional way. Everything we tried was delicious!! We tried the Harissa, the zengyalov hats, the Khurjin and the Avan (dolma with veal ribs!) Everything was very tasty! Especially the Khurjin with the freshly baked lavash was great! Very good wine, very good and friendly service, good prices and very nice place!

I knew Lavash is one of the best but it was beyond my expectations, I had pumpkin soup and it was divine, kebab was good and I loved this delicious mille-feuille. Service was smooth and perfect, I didn’t have reservations and had to wait few minutes. I’ll be back again to try your breakfast 💖

Good food, we had the pumpkin meat, and service was very accommodating for rinsing us a table. The Victoria drinks are tasty amd strong. Only area of improvement is the waiter forgot I don't like coriander and let me order a hat dish with it.

Lavash isn’t a hidden gem - it’s super popular for a reason. They’ve made the restaurant into a cathedral for the bread being made by hand and fired just in the other side of the glass. It makes its way into different dishes, housing herbs in jingalov hats or as the crispy stuffing to a roasted pumpkin. It’s all heavenly. You have to get that mile-high millefeuille at least once. It cannot be ignored.

Dolmama in Yerevan is an absolute gem! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere felt so authentic and inviting. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and humble—such a wonderful host. We tried the pork with mulberry sauce, and it was phenomenal! Every dish, along with the service and wine, made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yerevan!

Yes it's expensive but the food is amazing. The Ishli Dolmama was one of the best things I ate in Yerevan. Also has good wines by the glass, while most restaurants only have cheap and mediocre (by the glass) Dolmama has good choices. Quality over quantity although dishes are quite well served. I would be back for sure when I return to Yerevan and recommend everyone.

The interior of the restaurant is very nice and traditional with old pictures and decorations on the walls. I went to this restaurant for lunch and it was very quiet and there were only a few customers. There was only indoor space and the outdoor area was closed (late October). The waiter was very impatient and did not make much effort to introduce the dishes or make appropriate suggestions. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, he tried to take the order quickly and leave. The food took too long to come. The portion size was good but the prices were much higher compared to similar restaurants. I only went to this restaurant because it was recommended on many websites. But with all due respect, I do not recommend this restaurant.

I come to share my experience while visiting your restaurant two days ago , honestly speaking the device giving by Ani just phenomenal and she really does deserve 10/10 and if I could give more then 10 I would happily do 🙏she go beyond expectations and I would never ever forget about this visit as well she did surprised me with nice desert for my birthday 🎂🥹🙏

We had a lovely experience at Sherep Restaurant. The atmosphere is modern and vibrant, perfect for enjoying a nice evening in Yerevan. The shrimp dish was absolutely amazing flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The chicken breast, however, was quite ordinary and felt more like a regular home-style dish rather than something special for this kind of restaurant. On the drinks side, the cocktails were a highlight. They were creative, refreshing, and beautifully served especially the Flamingo, which stood out as something unique and fun to try. Overall, Sherep is definitely worth visiting for its creative menu, good vibes, and great cocktails. Just expect some dishes to shine more than others.

The restaurant has a huge multi-level hall and a really diverse menu. The service is quick (but not really super friendly), and we went there for lunch - what we had was really tasty. I'm sure dinner would be just as great. The only note is that it smells really strongly of food inside, and after less than an hour, all our clothes were just soaked with that food smell. So just keep that in mind , they probably have some ventilation issues.

WOW, this is an outstanding restaurant not to be missed, while visiting Yerewan. Featuring authentic local cuisine ( which is very tasty and due to a lot of healthy ingredients recommendable too, it was well frequented during my visits. Samuel, one of the friendly waiters ( his sister lives in Berlin ) gave perfect advice what to choose. Don’t forget to obtain a reservation during the busy evening hours

Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Fresh bread is made constantly throughout the day and diners are able to watch it. The cheese plate with local cheese is highly recommended. The medallions in spinach and cream sauce was excellent. The fried oyster mushrooms were also incredibly good. The service is quick and friendly.

One of my must visits when in Yerevan. They always accommodate the special needs , like a place for stroller etc. we tried almost everything soups, salads, mains, grilled menu and everything is very tasty. Their compotes have special place in my heart ♥️

Live music and delicious food. Even though the restaurant was very busy, I didn’t wait long for a table. With friendly waiters who gave thoughtful advice on what to order. The lemonade however did have a lot of ice for a 0.5L serving.

The food tastes good, but is generally a bit salty. One thing the service can improve is: stop taking away people’s plates so fast, and ask before you want to take it away! We haven’t finished eating yet, and it puts pressure when we want to slowly enjoy the food! This isn’t a good service that deserve 10% service fee.

The Tavern has a really unique first catch as it takes you to an underground dining area with a very unique decor and vibe. The food was great and so were the staff.We were expecting some live traditional music but there was nothing of that sort. All in all a good experience and quality food.

The food is really incredible and very affordable. The service was excellent, especially our waiter Erik, who could recommend very well what to eat and drink. The music is a nice touch, but a bit loud. On the other hand, it's a live band in a tavern, so it’s kind of normal.

We waited about 20 minutes because we didn’t have a reservation. Unfortunately, there was no live music that night. We were seated in a big private room; it was cool and spacious, but we actually wanted to be in the main restaurant area. The staff were kind but didn’t speak much English. I ordered Khorjin (video), which was delicious, though no one told me it was a dish meant for two/three people. I was the only one at our table happy with my food; my friends didn’t enjoy theirs as much. They also found the room a bit depressing, but I liked the private, family-style vibe. For me, the price-to-quality ratio was acceptable, but overall, my group gave it a lower score

Very nice atmosphere with very friendly staff. We ordered dolma, khurjin and tjvjik with ararat salad and everything was delicious, khurjin even had a little showmanship accompanying it. My favorite dish was tjvjik, caramelised onions in that dish were just right with spices and all. Overall great experience with the family. The price tag I am writing is per one person. There was 4 of us.

Wine Republic is our go-to spot when we don’t feel like overthinking dinner. The food is consistently delicious with generous portions, and there’s a wide variety to choose from. The staff are incredibly friendly — it almost feels like visiting family. Their wine selection is impressive, and the outdoor seating is just perfect.

Thai Wine Republic is my Kryptonite. The service is first class, the food absolutely scrumptious and the ambiance is relaxing. I have been here loads of times and have never been dissapointed.

As a chain fastfood restaurant Karas is excellent. Compared to a regular restaurant the food could be better, but then the price would be more. So I like things to stay the same. The service was very good and the atmosphere is nice, The chicken kebab was good, but fries were so so. In case you're wondering, Tan is an unsweetened yogurt drink.

My family and I ordered from here last night, and 4 out of 5 of us had stomach problems last night and today. Karas usually has wonderful food, but perhaps there was some mismanagement of food and temperature that caused our current issues.

The food were great! We loved the meat platter, dolma and beef kebab! Hot choco tastes a little bit special. The only downside was the service. We were promised 20mins. We ended up waiting for our meal for about 45mins. And only 2 ladies were able to converse in decent English. This place accepts cash and card payments.

Nice fast food within the city of Yerevan. Staff can speak English so it is easy for foreign tourists to find the food they want. I'm a Filipino and it was my first time here last February 2017. It was recommended by an Armenian guy. They serve pork, beef, chicken and lamb. Cheap price, big serving size and serves quick!

Although they don't speak English very well, they're warm and welcoming; and their food is very good. The restaurant is out of touristic area and you shouldn't expect them to speak English. This is one of my favorite spots in Yerevan.

It is always my first pick when I want to eat outside. We went there once with my wife. We had Tijvjik, Dolma and Kebab which all were delicious. The prices were also reasonable. The second time we had Tijvijik again (be sure to try it :-D) and Kebab. Although the Kebab was a little bit salty but it was great again. I absolutely suggest this place. I read people complaining about the waiters. They do not speak English so they do not talk much and you have to use Pantomime! But they are not rude at all and they are helpful. Well they can have a smile by the way :-D

I enjoyed half-litre (if not more) their tea; typical portions in Yerevan (esp. Kentron) are ∼400ml. But walking spaces are tight and one has to squeeze past a waiter to get from one hall to another. Only one 220V socket, placed inconveniently, in their veranda-like hall (which is the most accessible one) isn’t good.

We’ve been there for 2 times , the food and the place is great 👍🤩 but unfortunately we couldn’t pay with card and their system had problem . We had to pay by cash 💲 but I really love their food . They prepare with high quality

Dolma Restaurant, nestled in Davtashen, Yerevan, is a true hidden gem. I had the opportunity to try their scrumptious grape leaf Dolma and the mouthwatering summer Dolma. They both left me craving for the other four types they offer, total of SIX types of Dolma! Their spinach omelet was absolutely delicious, making me wonder whether it was cooked in an oven to get that unique taste and texture. The apple strudel was almost perfect, adding to the overall delightful experience. With attentive staff and prompt service, Dolma Restaurant is a must-try when in Yerevan. I can't recommend it enough for a memorable and satisfying meal.

This was an incredible meal. Every dish was deeply satisfying, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The manti soup was especially memorable — rich, tangy, and comforting. The beef was life changing. Service was warm and the whole experience felt unpretentious and dialed in. No hesitation giving this a full 5/5. It has been a week and I'm still thinking about this meal as I write this. Would happily come back anytime.

Don't miss this restaurant if you are in Yerevan. The menu featured pictures of the food but could use more explanation, which Armin provided. I never tasted better manti, made painstakingly on the spot and baked to perfection with a magical sauce of garlic and yogurt. Unlike the customary extra-fatty kebab that you regret later, the lamb-beef kebab was lean and tasty (despite being a bit too salty and spicy). The lahmacun was awesome and so was the freshly baked bread that took a while to cool. The truly gourmet experience made us return for another treat.

Absolutely disappointed with the service. My friends and I — four photographers — had lunch here after a long shoot. We were sitting around a table full of our gear, eating and chatting about work. In the middle of our meal, a server cleared the table without asking or even noticing the equipment and items we had laid out. Shockingly, my memory card was thrown away with the trash. When I explained what happened, they were dismissive and unhelpful. I had to insist multiple times before they finally handed me the trash bag so I could look for it myself. Thankfully, I found it — but not a single apology was given. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional to treat customers like this, especially when valuable work equipment is involved. Such a disappointing experience.

We just came for the bakery but found ourselves buying over 20 of those crescent shaped pastries during our stay in Yerevan - they are so delicious. Inside there is Walnut and cinnamon. The fresh baked bread is a delicious snack too.

12.05.2022 My girlfriend and I were happy visiting that restaurant. After going through the entry calm and pleasant classic music confronted us. Finally, I thought, a calm place where I can enjoy a good stay. My hopes were high and also I have my standards. After going through the menu and giving our orders I already noticed the waiters had a good school. The food was served and it was DELICIOUS! The size was perfect for us two. Throughout our stay, the waiter gave us a really nice service -Thank you, Tigran! I can only recommend going there and looking for yourselves.

We came here for breakfast and loved it so we can back for dinner. Very nice place just off the main tourist road and it is worth every penny. We want on Saturday night too and they had Armenian band playing there and we had a great time dancing with the locals who also invited us to join there table too. Did I say the food was awesome too and the service was very professional. Highly reccomend this restraunt.

Visiting from the United States and this restaurant has exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is pretty hidden with the main entrance facing an alleyway, although they have a bakery that's facing the sidewalk where pedestrians can buy freshly baked bread, pastries, and other Armenian foods. Walking inside, you feel the cool blast of the air conditioning along with friendly faces greeting you as you walk in. We visited on a Saturday night and the place was pretty empty. This didn't make sense to me because the food was exceptional and service was great. They have live music everyday from 7pm-11pm, which was a great touch to an already great restaurant. Overall, Tospia is great restaurant for any tourist (or local) who is craving pasta, soups, salads, or traditional Armenian food. 5 stars

What a gem of a restaurant! You absolutely need to try pork saslik - it is extremely soft, it melts in your mouth. The mutabal aka eggplant hummus is the best new dish I've tried in a long time. Flavors and the freshness of the food were mindblowing!

Good traditional food at a reasonable price. There was a live music trio and then you might enjoy or not that much the effort of the singer, it's debatable. The real problem was the service, not because it was unfriendly or anything like that but because they bring one person's order to the table and only some 15 minutes later return with the other person's order. That destroys the concept of a nice dinner together.

I am a tourist from India and I visited this restaurant on my first day in Armenia. I liked the atmosphere and ambiance. The food was good, but could be better. For example, I would have expected the Dolma to be a bit more spicy and it could taste better. But overall, I would recommend this place. This place is underrated while other similar restaurants are buzzing with people. Definitely, it deserves over 4 rating.

Customer service is non-existent and terrible service. The waiter hadn’t informed me that they don’t accept credit payments, and I had to use whatever cash I had to pay for my meal. Unfortunately, I only had my credit card with me. The manager of the restaurant was the only competent person who has apologised for the caused inconvenience. Dolma (stuffed cabbage leaves) I had for dinner was over wrapped in Cabbage with very little stuffing in it. I have noticed before leaving that one of the waiters (two guys) was laughing after my complain. Over all very disappointing. Definitely not going there again.

We were walking by and the place looked nice from the outside. We ordered pizza, lahmajoun, khinkali, tolma and salads. First of all, the pizza had hair in it, we asked them to make another one but honestly the pizza was so bad, probably the worst pizza i’ve ever eaten. We also ordered compot, and the choices of flavor all sounded bad ( apricot, strawberry?) we ordered a mix and it was awful we didn’t even drink it (it tasted like the juice of canned corn). Khinkali were also really bad, i’ve tried khinkali in many places in yerevan, these were the worst. The meat in lahmajoun was dry and not cooked properly. Tolma was not good. The only thing that was edible was the greek salad, which is almost impossible to mess up. Do not recommend, tourist scam

Kebab was very delicious, salad fresh and good coffee. Staff attentive, but there was only 2 tables busy, so it was quite inside. Balcony windows were open, so it was lil bit hot inside but it was fine for me (air condition was turned off, but if I asked they could turn it on). Location is great, nearby the small fauntain/lake and park.

We are tourists that came to visit Armenia.A day before we left we visited the restaurant and it was fantastic! The exterior caught our eye as soon as we saw it and the traditional music and dances were amazing! As soon as they heard us speaking Greek the violist started playing Greek songs! The waiter was extremely polite and made sure we were okay and completely satisfied! The food was great but it could have been a bit better For example Adjika could have been spicier The atmosphere is relaxing and very calm I would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes traditional things and live music, especially after a tiring day!

My experience in Armenia so far has been pretty underwhelming, and this restaurant just added to it. We came across it while walking and decided to check it out. They led us upstairs and told us to sit on the balcony. It was extremely windy (and we weren’t even smoking), so we politely asked if we could take one of the empty indoor tables instead—one of them only had a few dishes on it, which we said could be cleared.A female server, wearing a wig and clearly annoyed, looked at us with absolute disgust. She even made a hand gesture like she was shooing away stray animals. It was shockingly rude. Honestly, awful people for staffs.

Great spot, likely better for bigger groups than 2-person groups. They have private rooms for quieter meals or business meals, and they have a big room with live music at night. We had a great dinner here - everything was excellent! We definitely ordered way more food than was necessary - oops!

Impeccable service with outstanding traditional dishes. Best to book a table beforehand, especially for dinner. We were absolutely blown away by the chakhokhbili. Not only was the portion generous enough for two (served in a pan!), but the taste was divine. As a bonus, they included fermented cabbage and cauliflower on the side. Service remained impressively quick despite the crowded dining room. Highly recommended.

Food was most of it precooked and heated in the microwave. Some tasteless, some completely frozen cold. We went for lunch and there were very few people, maybe for dinner they cook fresh food, either way we didn’t have quality food. The place is beautiful tho.

As a solo walk-in, I was made to feel unwelcome right from the start. Instead of being greeted politely, I was told I could only sit and eat for 1 hour before leaving — as if I was just taking up space. It left a very negative impression, especially since it was my first day in Armenia and my very first meal.

Very nice restaurant in the centre of Yerevan. The food was good, just slightly small portions for the price. The environment is lively with traditional bands performing in the main hall and creating and festive vibe. Be aware of that, in case you want to have a calm and relaxing dinner. Way overpriced. For just a piece of meat. Nothing with it not even a slice of onion or tomotoes or bread. Like I'm a dog. Paid 95 euros for two steaks. Steak was good. But that's all. Worst service. Unless you like to waste your money stay away from this place.

We had such an amazing evening at Katsin Cafe! The service was absolutely perfect - very attentive and friendly, which made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the talented singer and dancers kept us entertained the whole night - they really set the mood and made the evening unforgettable. The food was also pretty nice and complemented the great vibes perfectly. Highly recommended if you want a place with great energy, good food, and wonderful entertainment!

Amaising place very nicely designed in the city centre. There is a great show with dancing waiters in the evening hours between 8 - 10 p.m. The atmosphere is really good. it is a suitable place to celebrate some event. The staff is very nice and helpfull and the meal is excelent

Somehow we left feeling, it wasn’t a memorable experience despite the fact that nothing went wrong except that the recommended dishes weren’t special to leave an everlasting impression. PROS 1) very friendly staff 2) good menu variety 3) fast service CONS 1) the place was almost full, that we had to sit in the dungeon. 2) the food was not special as in comparison to other restaurants we visited. 3) the place was too loud and noisy to have a conversation

I had dinner here back in December 2004. Food was great and they had a nice live traditional music. I still remember a guy from the band who had this "OMG, we have a couple of Asians in the audience tonight!" kind of look on his face...That was quite amusing in many ways.

Best food and folklor music

Get ready to experience a fantastic business lunch, which you will only get after 40 minutes of waiting. The food will be quite average, which is hilarious, given the luxurious status of the place. Also there’s a piano nearby, which will be occupied by a kid, who will randomly press keys to accompany your lunch.

Great food, I had a pilaf with mushrooms and a main course with thin layered pasta with cheese, both very tasty. As mentioned, these 2 dishes were required to fill me enough. 5000 AMD for all that and water.

A very different kind of restaurant. Authentic Armenian style but at the same time very elegant. The cuisine is Armenian but quite different from usual khorovats-kebab menus. Everything is very tasty and service level is good. You won't be disappointed.

To be fair, the service was very good. But what annoyed me most was that a high-end restaurant served a hard, inedible avocado—really? Avocado is one of those ingredients chefs can easily check for ripeness without even tasting it. If you’re calling yourself a posh restaurant, the food should live up to that standard too!And yes we have told the waiter but it was ignored 😂

Nice decor. Terrible service. They gave us an eight foot rectangular table for four people. And shrugged when asked how they propose we sit. 2 on the side and 2 at the ends eight feet away next to the kitchen. We left dismayed at their logic and lack of courtesy. Basically if you are not Gago, you are not welcome. They reserve their left overs for non-Gagos.if you are a heavy SMOKER, their upstairs is for you, even though smoking has been banned in restaurants. Needless to say, spend your money where you are appreciated for who you are not what group you represent.

We had only some appetizers as we were in rush, but taste was good, setting is simply stunning, attentive service.

The best place to reveal the color of Armenian kitchen at most I will highly recommend to visit, it's worth visiting especially because its interior reminds you of an old Armenian house, you feel yourself in an old hospitable Armenian family. From the foods, I recommend to try Xash, Shushi meatballs and the acid assortment. For sure, you have never tried such food elsewhere before

Amazing !!! We tried to find a traditional restaurant in Yerevan and I think we found the best of the best ! We ordered almost the whole menu as we wanted to taste some traditional food and everything was more than amazing !! Highly recommended!!!

The staff didn't speak English but they have an English menu available. They came to the table smiling with Armenian/English dictionary in hand. (We had one too!) We were a large group. We ordered a bunch of food and shared everything- it was the best food I had in my two weeks in Armenia. (And the best air conditioning in the 103F summer!) We ordered a few things having no idea what they were and everything was delicious!

I found the service very good and quick but the food a but expensive regarding the quality, it was very salty. Except the eggplant rolls, amazing!

I ate here twice and there was never a problem with the portions size or timing. The weiter make us always aware that there will be a delay in fresh prepared food. The food was always tasting great and the pricing is hard to beat. Recommend kebabs and strained Joghurt salad with it. If you combine both flavors you get something amazing out of it. The Khinkali took both tome about 30min but we ordered it anyway. To be fair we didn‘t get any of the fast food and always went for the bbq‘s. Have your own opinion considering budget and quality and you wan‘t be disappointed.

Food is fresh and tasty, local cuisine for very good price. Free WiFi, good music, attentive staff. I must say I kind of like it, even if there is kind of fast food atmospete it's actually only the appearance.

Worst delivery service I've experienced in any Caucasus country.Ordered 4 times and everytime there was something missing,or not as I.requested to be,deliveries are bad always late,they smell and vulgar and rude. Don't EVER order meat or chicken it's really bad

Wasn't very busy, seemed kind of a bland place with not too much life. Maybe it was just the day/time we were there? Food was pretty good but nothing to get too excited about. Bathrooms were spotlessly and very modern. Live dancing and singing entertainment but I'm not sure if that's every night?

Noyan Restaurant is located right in Yerevan center, parallel of Mashtots Avenue. Every time I visit Yerevan, I dine in at Noyan, as it has the best food and service. Try their pork or chicken BBQ, salads, sweets, everything is tasty and delicious.
