During our stay in Jerevan, we visited this place several times, and we really liked it. As a Colombian, it was a surprise to find three Fernando Botero sculptures on the lower floor, which nourished my soul. We really enjoyed Fromm the ground floor, each level rising to the obelisk at the top of this monument. We really enjoyed climbing the more than 700 steps to get there. I would definitely return. It would be nice to find the intermediate section, which is under construction, finished upon returning. It also has escalators for people who can't walk up. very nice view of Mount Ararat from here.

Really a must go when u visit Yerevan, great design in terms of sculpture and architecture. Also incomparable view over the city. If you don’t want to climb all the stairs you can take the lift on the left then walk your way down each level, but even to me who absolutely don’t have enough exercise the stairs don’t seem too much. Highly recommend to visit during sunrise or sunset, it’s an eye treat to see how lighting (or the absence of it) affects how the cascade looks. It looks impressive from afar and it is the smae when you get near it. Did not had the lick to have clear skies for seeing Ararat (from what we've heard, there's rarely any chance in August for this) but the whole experience was nice. The area is full with caffees and restaurants anyway (in the plaza before climbing) and it is really beautiful there - including the area of the quirky statues 😉. Really nice area to visit and hang out at any point of the day. A visit to the art's centre is recommended as well.

Very beautiful part of the city, especially on sunny days. There is a nice little park with flowers and art, a beautiful and peaceful vibe, a lot of couples and friendly people. You should definitely visit it. Take the escalator up and walk the stairs down. From there, take a walk into the beautiful city center.

I really think you should visit this museum, which is located in the city center. This was my second time traveling to Yerevan and I truly enjoyed it. The people are very warm and genuine. The museum is right in the heart of the city, and if you're lucky and the weather is nice when you reach the top, you can see a panoramic view of the entire city. If you ever happen to be in Yerevan, make sure to explore the art pieces inside and also take your time to enjoy the view.

Breath taking! Beautiful! Elegant! Timeless. The fountains on the bottom around 30 feet deep, you'd never know unless you went down the steps! Incredible! Walk all the steps up, count how many! Each level has different design fountains! There are even some hidden steps too, keep your eyes out and take them :) Wonderful view of Mount Ararat, Yerevan, during the day. Evening time, beautiful sunset! There is an escalator that takes you all the way up if you don't want to walk all the steps. Don't step on the grass, they don't like it.

Visited on a hot day. Took the escalator up. Worth visiting if you are in Yerevan. A lot of sculpturs and art pieces. Saw some pieces from Colombian's Botero famous for im-proportioante art.

Went to see russian The Nutcracker ballet. The Opera is really beautiful both from the outside and the inside, including the garden all around the Opera. The auditorium itself wasn't that big, which is actually good news since we were pretty far from the main stage yet had a beautiful view on it. The show itself was beautiful, everyone being very talented. The only flaw of the show wasn't even the price (~30€) but more of the time it took. It wasn't even an hour long which was a bit disappointing.

Sublime! I attended Gayane ballet and it seemed the story they showed was not similar to the original one but still, the dancers were captivating and the orchestra playing the music was top notch. No complaints. Worth every penny. I recommend also booking in rows 5-16 as rows 1-4 despite being closest to the stage, maybe be obstructed easily by people sitting in front of you. During intermissions there are drinks or treats for extremely reasonable prices to other opera houses in other countries.

I'm very sorry, I took two photos as a souvenir. If you come to Yerevan, Armenia, I highly recommend watching an opera. I watched Carmen, and it gave me a great feeling.Highly recommended!!! I like Yerevan, it is one of the places I want to live permanently after retirement. Hahaha

During a guided tour of this theater, we discovered the backstage set-up, the large concert hall, and the basement storage room where theatrical props are stored. The guide was extraordinary, and the experience offered was unrepeatable.

Services was great, the champagne could have a been colder, we had to request an ice bucket, the waiter our glass full at all time and when we asked to move outside to finish our it wasn't an issue. Food was fantastic, BBQ pork ribs and the Russian dumplings where divine. I would definitely return.

Amazing food, we had to come back again. So many delicious dishes to choose from. The staff is kind and professional. Loved everything we ordered from soup, salad to lamb chops and grilled fish! So good. Highly recommend. Probably the best food in Yerevan.

One of the best meals we have in Yerevan. Prompt service and delicious food. We came down on fri nite after tour but it was packed and staff say walk in better after 9pm. So we made arrangements to come in at 7pm the next day.

A place to visit when in Yerevan!! Their are making live their bread and lavash with the traditional way. Everything we tried was delicious!! We tried the Harissa, the zengyalov hats, the Khurjin and the Avan (dolma with veal ribs!) Everything was very tasty! Especially the Khurjin with the freshly baked lavash was great! Very good wine, very good and friendly service, good prices and very nice place!

I knew Lavash is one of the best but it was beyond my expectations, I had pumpkin soup and it was divine, kebab was good and I loved this delicious mille-feuille. Service was smooth and perfect, I didn’t have reservations and had to wait few minutes. I’ll be back again to try your breakfast 💖

Good food, we had the pumpkin meat, and service was very accommodating for rinsing us a table. The Victoria drinks are tasty amd strong. Only area of improvement is the waiter forgot I don't like coriander and let me order a hat dish with it.

Lavash isn’t a hidden gem - it’s super popular for a reason. They’ve made the restaurant into a cathedral for the bread being made by hand and fired just in the other side of the glass. It makes its way into different dishes, housing herbs in jingalov hats or as the crispy stuffing to a roasted pumpkin. It’s all heavenly. You have to get that mile-high millefeuille at least once. It cannot be ignored.

Victory Park is a nice spot to walk around in Yerevan. The Ferris wheel has amazing views of Yerevan. Some of the rides are too old to feel safe, but there are plenty of options and food around. The atmosphere is calm on weekdays with no crowds. Great place for a walk and a fun time.

The tall statue is beautiful and the park around it is above the town with good scenery There is a free mesum which displays some war items and mainly the pictures of war heros of Armenia which have been perished in wars for the country. There is a big parking space nearby. Which is used as a driver training when empty!

It is an amazing park. It is located at the top of the cascade monument. There is a small lake. There are small kids area with yerevan eye. From there , you have an astonishing view of the city. Sure, your visit will be ending by seeing a statue of Mother of Armenia. It is free entry.

Very good place, went there for breakfast during my visit to yerevan. Had the cheese lahmajo & it was extremely good. We also had the ayran or tan (which is yogurt & salt) which was also great! Highly recommended if you’re in yerevan, eats recommends!!

Great place - we ate at this place twice during our stay in Yerevan and both times were great. I highly recommend the Pesutest (stuffed peppers and eggplants) - we had the big one which was enough for four people and it was really delicious. But the other dishes we tried (qebab & Original) were amazing as well. The staff is also pretty fast and speaks good English.

Cozy atmosphere with vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. I love their blue cheese bagels and fresh salads. It’s my top place for honey, ginger, and lemon tea—they make it very fresh. The coffee is okay, not the best in the city. Not always kid-friendly, but definitely animal-friendly. The staff isn’t always very friendly—mostly serious and a bit cold. But all in all, I enjoy being here. It’s one of the best spots for me sometimes to work and really concentrate, even though there’s always some background noise.

I had a cappuccino and eggs benedict with smoked trout. The overall impression was below average, the cappuccino was hot, almost burnt, with poorly whipped foam. The eggs had a bland taste, as you can see from the photo they were overcooked, there was absolutely no liquid yolk. The hollandaise sauce was bland, without any distinct taste - it should be sour. Overall, they really have a lot to improve here, I wouldn't have it again.

Excellent environment at the Republic square. Mostly Families, friends are gathering from 8PM onwards. Colorful water fountain show will start from 9PM. No much rush. It's large area, so you can stay peaceful. So many shops, restaurants near that area. And also you can enjoy some music & singer street performers near that area. Police always be there. So place is well secured. We enjoyed with our kids. Highly recommend to visit Republic square at the weekend. So when you schedule the trip to Armenia, add this place also and visit by Saturday or Sunday. Nice people and peaceful environment.

The music was a mix of classical and modern tunes, which made it even more fun because there was something for everyone. Each song felt like a different story told through the movement of the water and the play of lights. The best part is that it’s completely free, making it one of the most enjoyable and accessible experiences in the city. Sitting there and watching the fountains, with the warm evening air and the lively crowd, felt unforgettable. Overall, the fountain show was a highlight of my trip—beautiful, entertaining, and filled with energy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Yerevan.

What a beautiful place! The entrance is to the souvenir shops/art galleries.. it was beautiful! They have uniquely beautiful stuff good for souvenirs that you won’t find anywhere else in Yerevan. Inside also there is a cafe/restaurant we had katchapuri, some yoghurt salad and drinks. Katchapuri maybe juat that day it was too salty, like too much! But the quality of the food and service is ok!

We had such a good time here, the place is beautifull in special not "manicured" way. The waiter was very friendly, food and coffee excellent, prepared timely. The gift shop is pricey, but every piece is so beautiful (we found few items in duty free shop and they were even more pricey)

I can say the food is normal no special taste unlike the ambience was quite nice. A lot of tourists and groups visit this place. Service was a bit slow but we do not regret visiting this place as it is a must.

Probably the best place we’ve visited so far in Jerevan. The staff were attentive and proactive, and the food was very good for a fair price. It’s connected to a nice art gallery and has a lovely, well-lit garden in a quiet courtyard. Excellent Karas wine, and the beer was good too. Highly recommended.

A relaxing vibe here and would say it is one of the best restaurants here in Yeveran 🤩 Tried their Arishta with Ghaurma, Omelette with tomatoes, Margherita, Cheese Plate with friends! They are all very salivating. Don't forget to order some glasses of Pomegranate Wine 🍷 It is sweet and sour at the same time to get appetite for the feast 🍲 Shout out to the friendly staff!

This restaurant is set in a lovely back garden with a pleasant ambience. The food offers decent value for money, though I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it purely for the quality. The host was initially insistent on seating us at the very back of the garden, despite available tables at the front where we preferred to sit. After some convincing, we were able to sit where we wanted. Apart from that, the rest of the service was fine. 1. Service: Not bad overall, but the seating issue detracted from the experience – 0.5 stars. 2. Quality: Food was decent but not remarkable – 0.5 stars. 3. Value for money: You mentioned it offers decent value – 1 star. 4. Aesthetics, ambience, and overall experience: Nice ambience in the garden – 1 star.

Beautiful market! I bought a few trinkets to bring home but I'm also going to come back to buy more gifts for my family. The chessboards are beautifully made and there's a huge variety of items. I arrived unfortunately around 6pm so most of the shops were closing. I recommend coming here from between 11am to 5pm to get to experience it while it's busy.

This art and crafts market in Yerevan offers you a wide selection of souvenirs, silver jewelry, pottery, wooden items and so much more. Loved and purchased a lot of handmade products by small scale businesses mostly run by women. Had a fun time shopping here on the last day of our trip.

I was impressed how large the market was and how professional the stalls are. A diverse range of local and traditional jewelry, clothing, wooden carvings, paintings, pottery and more . Nice to browse to see cultural aspects and a great place to buy souvenirs or gifts.

A wonderful hotel that looks like a black castle with an old blue dome. The cleanliness is excellent and the service is outstanding. There was a woman at the reception named Bella — incredibly beautiful, kind, and cheerful ❤️. The room was a large suite with a jacuzzi and breakfast served in the room in the morning. A very enjoyable stay that I will definitely repeat.

I visited this museum on the morning of Oct 12 th 2025. The collections you have is very impressive. The history of Armenia dated far back to the Assyrian, mesopotamia era and much more there's so much to go through but with just 1/2 an hour is not enough. I came in with tour group. By the way, obsidian tools I highlighted spelling error on the "blandes" maybe some people don't read the descriptions but I do... Hehe

That's a very good museum but not spectacular though. You have to be interested or at least curious about the Antiquity, otherwise it might look a bit boring. Very informative for those wishing to go deep into Armenia's deep past. The country used to be vastly greater and larger than it is at present. It came referred side by side with Babylon and Egypt in ancient times. I would call it a mandatory visit.

It was chilly and raining and we decided to take stroll through the museum at Republic Square. The place may not be as big as other national museums across the globe, however it takes you through a well structured journey of the history of the land. Good place to spend 1.5 hours

An absolute gem. The exhibits, the artifacts, and the narrative (in English) of human history are brilliant. It is much more than just the history of Armenia. Any and all curious persons will appreciate this museum.

We visited here on a Monday and as the only remaining mosque in Yerevan it’s definitely something to see. The entry is free, and accessible with stairs into the compound. With the large gardens and the mosaic tiles of the mosque frontage and dome, it’s worthwhile taking a look just to see it. The mosque itself is open to visitors with the traditional men and women entrances. The carpets and tapestries are colourful and the mosque itself is cool in the heat of the day. The Iranian artefact display is nice to see showing some history. There’s a little store for Iranian products and trinkets to purchase if you like. Overall, something you should see as it is the only mosque remaining in Yerevan and open to visitors to take a glimpse into the Muslim world.

If you are near, you should visit. It’s not the most impressive monument, but it’s beautiful enough. But I would not come here from another side of the city. The surrounding garden can use some care though, it looked like it was last repaired 15 years ago. P.S. The mosque is a bit hidden: you need to dive into one of the alleyways to reach it.

The mosque is probably the most enjoyable sightseeing spot of the city. You will find calm vibes and silence, other than a stunning Persian architectural complex. There is also a wonderful souvenir shop next to it with products manufactured in Iran.

Only mosque in Yerevan. Reconstruction was funded by the Iranians. It's a pretty interesting place as it's a complex rather than just a single building. There is a small museum, a shop with Iranian items for sale and the mosque itself. It was empty when I went and open to non muslims. There is a nice older lady offering tours on the history of the place.

Dolmama in Yerevan is an absolute gem! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere felt so authentic and inviting. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and humble—such a wonderful host. We tried the pork with mulberry sauce, and it was phenomenal! Every dish, along with the service and wine, made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yerevan!

Yes it's expensive but the food is amazing. The Ishli Dolmama was one of the best things I ate in Yerevan. Also has good wines by the glass, while most restaurants only have cheap and mediocre (by the glass) Dolmama has good choices. Quality over quantity although dishes are quite well served. I would be back for sure when I return to Yerevan and recommend everyone.

The interior of the restaurant is very nice and traditional with old pictures and decorations on the walls. I went to this restaurant for lunch and it was very quiet and there were only a few customers. There was only indoor space and the outdoor area was closed (late October). The waiter was very impatient and did not make much effort to introduce the dishes or make appropriate suggestions. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, he tried to take the order quickly and leave. The food took too long to come. The portion size was good but the prices were much higher compared to similar restaurants. I only went to this restaurant because it was recommended on many websites. But with all due respect, I do not recommend this restaurant.

Fine dinning restaurant. A bit expensive. Was here to try fine dinning after sick of all the usual normal restaurants. Decent food and prompt service.

I come to share my experience while visiting your restaurant two days ago , honestly speaking the device giving by Ani just phenomenal and she really does deserve 10/10 and if I could give more then 10 I would happily do 🙏she go beyond expectations and I would never ever forget about this visit as well she did surprised me with nice desert for my birthday 🎂🥹🙏

Had a really nice dinner here I had ribs and hummus to start which was lovely My mum had soup and ribs Only minor issue was soup was brought out after the main Which is the only reason for the 4 stars The restaurant inside is lovely and classy

Excellent place for local cuisine. We had pork loin, lamb barbecue, stuffed eggplant, sarma (cabbage wrapped) and manti (ravioli looking dough). All delicious, but highlight for the eggplant and sarma. Some difficult communicating in English but nothing major except from a still water instead of sparkling :)

Atmosphere and service were ok. The wine was ok. The food was below expectations. We tried 5 kinds of barbecue meet and they were all either too salty or too hard and dry. Only the minced meat kebab was ok.

This review is strictly service related. The restaurant is owned by a group that has other restaurants. We came here based on the experience of Louis Charden the previous day. There we were greeted with a smile, brought to a table, given menus and waitress Meri was phenomenal as well as the other 2 girls behind the counter. Here a complete disaster (food was very good) - 3 hostesses with no smile sitting on their phones, one decides to walk 20 feet in front of us to show to a table. Dropped the menus and left. No waiter or waitress came up for 15 minutes, just walked passed us. I had to get up and go to where 5 of them were just standing and talking. I asked them if I can order or just keep looking at the menu. They finally came to take order. Food came out and was very good. Again is not a review of their food. They did not come up once to see if we wanted anything else (don’t you suppose to upsell customers with more food or ask how the dinner is?) We finished and I had to yell to get a check. No dessert offered. This is just odd. We paid and left. If you just want to eat food and zero expectations of service then it’s ok and the prices are reasonable. If you want to have a great dining experience please choose another restaurant. This was the first restaurant in Yerevan that made us feel unwelcome. They should take a class from Louis Charden. For the owners of this restaurant, you should consider retraining the staff. Good luck in the future.

Food was so delicious that we even forgot to make a photo 🤭 amazing lamb kebab, chicken soup, appetizer set (specially eggplant appetizer, next time will order only it), dolma was exceptional , spring salad if I remember name correctly was aslo good, everything fresh and yummy Girls who met us on the entrance were so welcoming and nice with our baby Second time we were not so lucky because we asked for advice for dishes and waiter recomended us soup with kefir, and I am lactose intolerant, so couldn’t ate it, same with salad, salad wath with cream, even for my husband it was too fatty But still overall I would recommend to visit this restaurant, food is veeeery good

The food and service were very good, but it was super hot in there and two fans were not able to make it bearable. Tye mist was going down on the side for people sitting on the ground floor. If you are going to use this place in hot times, make sure your reservation is for inside spaces where there is a working A/C.

Vostan is one of the best restaurants in the heart of Yerevan. Location is superb, but the decoration of the main entrance door is not suitable for the restaurant, many people pass it and they don't realize that this place is a restaurant. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is good. Prices are in mid range. Food is delicious, but need to change some items in Vostan set dishes. I recommend visiting this place.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Derian tonight. Arevik & Julie did everything to make our evening perfect! The food is delicious & everything was perfect!! Arevik was super gracious & did everything possible to make us happy. Thank you

Quality tasty food and great service. We loved the fire bbq with selected meats. The appetizers were very tasty as well. Highly recommend trying this restaurant while in Yerevan

We visited Derian based on recommendations for their Dolma and Manti, as well as the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience did not fully meet expectations. The Dolma (Yalanchi and Sarma) were decent and perhaps the best we have tried so far in Yerevan, but still below the standard we are used to. The cheese boerek was visually appealing with a crisp, well-baked dough, though the cheese filling lacked authenticity. The “Derian Special” was underwhelming, and the Chikufte, while nicely presented, did not deliver on flavor. Unlike versions we’ve enjoyed elsewhere, which are typically accompanied by salad, hot sauce, pomegranate sauce, herbs, and lemon, this dish was served only with hot sauce and a very small portion of salad. Service also left room for improvement: although we were the only guests at the time, four people were given only two menus, and water glasses had to be requested. Overall, while the restaurant shows potential, our visit was not in line with the high praise often found in other reviews.

Derain is a very special restaurant with a variety of Oriental and Mexican food… The staff is great and the food is perfectly done… Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Bazaar and wants to have lunch ✌🏻

We had such an amazing experience at Derian Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service made it even better. A special thank you to Manager Mher, who was so kind, professional, and attentive. He made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You can really feel that this restaurant cares about its guests. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Armenia — highly recommend! 💫

This place deserve 10/10 we visit it during our visit in yerevan and the food and the team went extra miles 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 missed to take photos of what we eat but every plate was perfectly good

Well, we ordered some different coffee ☕️ in here and three pieces of corn sticks, but to be honest, they were not tasty, but the worker said opposite , that they taste good. So if you decide to come here , make your choices without asking 😄 BTW they have vegan milk to your coffee ☕️ 😋 😜

It is a nice place to enjoy fast food specially burger. They have a variety of burgers with good portions. Prices are affordable. The taste is good but the truffle burger does not have any taste or aroma of truffle. The meat is good.

The place is nicely decorated with an open kitchen which is nice! However when it comes to the taste it wasn’t very good. Hamburger was average but the chicken burger had a very weird taste and I wouldn’t recommend at all. All in all, you don’t get good quality for what you’re paying and it’s not a place I’d try again.

I ordered the most delicious set for 4000Deram. It contains fries, stripes, hamburger, and coke. The fries were very delicious (KFC level delicious), in fact, I went to KFC in Yerevan Mall, and it was not as good as this one. The chicken was not fatty , and therefore delicious. The hanbur was delicious, too. I would highly recommend the restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect, because I went there after midnight. And gotta tell you that it was the only open restaurant in the area which was open at midnight.

Definitely worth to try, burger was tasty price range is between 1700-5000 amd ~ 4-10$, modern design an comfortable seats. Service is fast and workers are very warm welcoming, with every burger they give you black gloves to have an amazing experience. If you are fan of Black Star Mafia they have souvenir shop there. The only thing which was really annoying that this place is crowded and noisy. Will check again soon.

Epic burger. Literally may fly back to Armenia again just to have this. Fries were great, chicken tenders were great, the black bun is phenomenal. Cost is reasonable!!! The seating was very nice and I appreciated the decor. I ordered the Most Delicious Set and that it was!!! Amazing combo for $10!!!! Definitely get the XL burger. It is huge and wonderful!!!

If you can take really spicy food, try their spicy fried chicken. It is easily the best fried chicken we ever had. We tried the mushroom angus beef burger and another burger which in itself is called "the most delicious ", both size M, which is a good portion. Also their pineapple lemonade is a stand out. The restauarant is almost entirely outdoor, at a prime location, which is so much fun.
