The cocktails are ok; sometimes a bit off taste. It’s expensive for Providence. The service is always great, but the bar vibe is a bit blah. The interior has very high wooden booths, making it very dark that are horrible to sit in especially when the bar is always kind of empty. It doesn’t really serve food, it’s a small plate snack kind of place, so you always have to go elsewhere to have a dinner.

Really great little bar with fantastic sound system - Anderson .Paak on when we were there and it was lovely. Dim and intimate but lively. Dallas made me a perfect dry martini which is surprisingly hard to find. We are road trippers more or less globally so unlikely to find ourselves here again, but if you’re in providence, this is a very very good bar. Xo

Eddy is one of the best bars in Providence. Small space. Best to go with two or three. There are two booths in the back for larger groups and some outdoor seating during the summer. I got a sidecar, but they have a delicious menu of food and drinks that is continuously changing.

Sunday Jazz was an incredible first impression of Providence. Food, drinks, and service were flawless, feat. possibly the best chicken tenders we had ever had, and the music was a great time. Space is intimate and warm and everyone seemed happy to be there

Bartender is amazing and the service is that of a classy speakeasy. Reminds me of Yvonne's in Boston but more boutique and harder to find but well worth the effort. Seafood is literally brought in fresh that morning, if they have a special ceviche definitely get that. You won't be disappointed. Menu is small but all the items are delicious, and pear really well with the entire wine list and cocktail menu. And if you don't see something on the menu in terms of drinks that you like, the bartender is very skilled to make something off menu.

Order the Mother Teresa (mezcal cocktail) and you won't regret it. Service was absolutely outstanding. The servers will help you guide you to one of their cocktails if you aren't sure. They're attention without being overbearing or checking in too often. Great romantic spot for couples. Saturday had some traffic but it wasn't overly busy. Highly recommend it!

Amazing venue! Visited the club for a private event. We didn't have the food, but the drinks were amazing. The bartenders are top-notch, and the DJ was fantastic. Highly recommend!!

The Courtland Club is a hidden gem! Last year, as I am a Leo, I had the featured astrological drink! It featured Rum, agricole, & pineapple juice! Delicious! I wanted to write about it then, but I decided to be selfish and keep this place to myself and my chosen guests!!! The food was elevated bar food, REALLY WONDERFUL!!!

First trip to Clementine - tiny but nice atmosphere and we had the place to ourselves for nearly two hours. Bartender was great and had excellent recommendations. Drinks were very good. The only disappointment was the surprisingly costly fries - fine but not worth the cost.

The perfect bar for beautiful crafted drinks. The attention to detail is incredible! Our bartender Karael crafted our cocktails to perfection. For appetizers, I would recommend trying the chicken dumplings, it comes with a soy dipping sauce and this alone will have me coming back for more.

I stopped by while walking around Providence as they had excellent reviews and they truly lived up to the hype! Jean Marc made an excellent bourbon drink and then I tried their take on a Hot Toddy and it was amazing! Highly recommend for some great cocktails and service!

Great drinks, very professional service. Drinks were all very well-crafted, thoughtful, well-balanced, and unique. I really truly enjoyed each that we had. Limited spacing, but very navigable on a week-day. The ambiance is great for a casual night - music wasn’t overbearing, allowing conversation. Lighting was dimmed throughout the evening, but was never low to the point of needing a flashlight. Service was quick, but not pushy. The food was also very good- the front-of-house and back-of-house worked seamlessly together; food was explained, served, and even boxed up by a friendly team-member. Will be back for sure to try different items. I would recommend everything we ordered- the cheese & meats selection were explained, and we went with the meats/charcuterie, hand cut fries, chicken dumplings, and rigatoni bolognese. All items I would happily order again in the future, though I plan to switch up the order next time to see everything they prepare.

I love this place! Jean-Marc, the bar tender, made and served this beautiful lemon drop martini and the drink so super refreshing and the presentation went above and beyond a typical lemon drop. The service and atmosphere are chefs kiss. And I love those French fries!

Great drinks. From really creative to the classics done perfectly. A tad pricey, but isn't everything. Bartender is a lot of fun. Unless you're hitting at an off time reservations recommended. A tiny space, only 16 seats. A few more outdoors during the summer.

Beautiful atmosphere, been here twice and was first here in 2022 when they first opened. They’ve kept the same amazing drinks and awesome feel as when they started. Had the Quince and the Spritz and both were great. Loved our server Karael, and we will absolutely be back

Gracie's is an restaurant that I would have rated higher if they didn't classify themselves as fine dining. The staff themselves are very friendly, but it is noticeable that they are not trained properly. Some examples during our dinner: one of the waitstaff spilled water and our reserved table had to be switched as it noticeably soaked through the booth seat, wait staff started taking empty plates away while someone in our party was still eating, a waitress took away someone's wine glass that still had wine in it, and wait staff poured sparkling water into someone's still water glass. Upon realizing the mistake, they just accepted the answer that it was okay and did not immediately dispose of the half-flat sparkling water and replace the glass. We also had issues with the complicated reservation process (see pic 1) and the lack of Saturday's complimentary valet as stated on their OpenTable. Food-wise, we found that some dishes such as the gnocchi were top quality, while others missed the mark in seasoning and execution (ex: the pork belly with the scallop dish is extremely dry and difficult to eat, rigatoni lacked salt and acid, banana ice cream [pic 9] arrived almost fully melted on the plate). I cannot recommend Gracie's to those with fine dining experience as it will disappoint. However, if you are new to it and want to go for a first time experience or to impress a date? This may be a good place to start.

This is my second time here and both times I did the chefs tasting menu. Every dish left a lasting impression, and the cadence was perfect. The foie gras was one of the best I ever had! I highly recommend the wine pairing as it truly compliments each dish, and the sommelier provides great service while being very knowledgeable. I will absolutely be back anytime I'm in the area.

I love it here. Such a fantastic experience. Even at the bar, they give you their full attention. The bartender, Carolina, knew so much about our wines and how they paired with our dishes. She had all of the information about the wines we asked memorized as well as the plates they go well with. Fantastic attitude that just puts you in a good mood to be near them. The food is amazing but the gnocchi was definitely my favorite. A really stand out dish that I highly recommend trying when you’re here. I don’t even typically like gnocchi or mushrooms like that but I kept going back for more. Beautiful atmosphere and plenty of staff so you’re never ignored, even when it is busy before a PPAC show (or Trinity repertoire ; which is directly across the street and can be seen from the windows) I just love when a place really puts a good amount of detail in their plates and makes their staff happy enough that they stay working here for a long time. Definitely worth a trip, even though it is pricey - you will leave full and happy

We went for my wife's BDay! The service was excellent and they accommodated food restrictions- allergies and vegetarian. The roasted beer salad was excellent, whiskey sour was delicious. The dessert (opera cake) was a but underwhelmimg on both portion size and flavors

My family and I celebrated my wife's birthday. Our party of 6 had the 5 course tasting menu with the Grand Wine pairing. We had a wonderful time, and the food was absolutely amazing! Our Sommelier & Service Lead, Caroline, was phenomenal! The wines she paired with each course were amazing. My son and his husband both work in the NYC food industry, and they were thrilled with every wine she brought to the table. The entire team of waitstaff were incredible. We were grateful for their service and care. It was a great way to spend a special day!

Our dining experience at Gracie’s last night was outstanding. The attention to detail made it especially memorable. When we sat down, there was a handwritten note wishing Darren a Happy Birthday, followed by a delicious glass of cava from Danielle. Nick, the bartender I knew from Bacaro, mixed me a Black Manhattan that was absolutely amazing—thank you, Nick. Every touch, from the warm service to the thoughtful presentation, made the evening feel special. Highly recommend this restaurant—it’s a gem.

The restaurant is very nice and has a great atmosphere. The food and drinks were good, but the service was terrible. The food was served, but I had to ask for extra plates, utensils, and even napkins—almost halfway through the meal. I also had to request water.

First time. What a great place highly recommend for date night birthday etc make a reason to go you won't be disappointed the view was amazing service food all top notch . Had a 30 bday party to attend will be back with the family. Went back for my son's graduation dinner just as good as the first time added some new plates

Our first time here for Providence restaurant week I had the fried artichokes and the Steak Frite My wife had the calamari and the salmon was absolutely delicious Highly recommend a trip Reservation I would recommend.

Went for my friend's birthday. He had the surf and turf the steak was not good at all had him choking in the bathroom not worth the $70.

My best friend had her wedding reception here and it was the BEST NIGHT EVER! The manager Catherine took care of us from set up to break down, and helped solve every problem along the way. They allowed us to decorate and execute our own personal plan how we wanted. The bartenders, wait staff, and back of house, were all fantastic, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend having your reception here!

I wanted to share some honest feedback about a recent visit. To start on a positive note, our server was an absolute peach. She was warm, attentive, and clearly doing her best. As someone who also works in the service industry, I understand how challenging service can be, especially on busy nights. That said, it did not seem like a particularly busy night and I did want to share some concerns. For our first course, we had the cheese board, which was just okay. Unfortunately, we weren’t given a description of the cheeses by the person who brought it out (I believe it may have been the floor manager) and when we asked our server, she wasn't sure either. She did go and retrieve the notes, which we appreciated, but it felt like a missed opportunity for engagement. The most noticeable issue throughout the meal was the lack of table maintenance. Our cheese board, finished drinks (including a wine taste I didn’t care for), appetizer plates, and more were never cleared during the entire experience, despite multiple passes by our server. It made the meal feel cluttered and uncomfortable, especially considering the occasion. As for the food: the entrees were okay. The sirloin had good flavor but was overcooked, and while the scallops were well-seared, the risotto was on the bland side. Dessert, the mango coconut cheesecake, also lacked flavor. The highlight of the evening was truly the company I was with and the lovely view from our table. But considering it was our anniversary and the price point of the meal, the overall experience was disappointing. I’m sharing this not to be harsh, but because I care about hospitality and know how valuable honest feedback can be.

Nick-A-Nees has always been one of my favorite music venues. They attract a diverse and interesting clientele. And they allow dogs. The outdoor live music event last night was ridiculously good. It was good to be home.

This dive bar is great. It houses a pool table, live bands, friendly bar tenders and yummy drinks. Last night a band Slow Boat Home played, it was a cool variety of Americana and juke joint blues. Great match with the atmosphere.

Such a fun place!! You pay $8 to enter and then you can play unlimited games! I loved this because you can just try everything out and have the freedom to use each as much as you want. Great outdoor smoking area as well. Clean bathrooms inside which I always appreciate. So many different games to choose from and a few of each so you don’t have to wait. A great bar as well with good prices. Also an adorable Photo Booth which I always love! Definitely come here when in Province, such a fun place!!

Ms. PacMan, Dance Dance Revolution, Pinball, and more to enjoy at the Free Play Bar Arcade. 21+ and a great value of $8 on a Friday at 6:30pm to play to our hearts content. Adult beverages and some games make for a great date night or group outing. We played for a couple hours before heading out to another location. Anyone who has grown up playing these games or wants to try them out should hit up Free Play Bar Arcade in Providence!

It was cool until somebody modded the ddr machine to a game called simply arrows? The machine says ddr but the actual game is not that. Why would you allow someone to change it to a modded messy game? Just return the game to its original state please. This is one of the only few places that had ddr in the area

more clubs than I can count, but this is hands down the best one I’ve ever visited. I was in Providence for a four-day weekend attending a flight simming convention, and a group of about eight of us decided to check this place out. The cover charge was super cheap, around twelve dollars if I remember right, and the drinks were strong and reasonably priced. The bar had a full selection and a long list of creative, delicious cocktails. The Terminator was my personal favorite, packed with flavor and definitely worth trying. But the real star of the show is the arcade. The variety blew me away. Everywhere you looked there was something different and exciting to play. They had old-school classics like Pac-Man and Galaga, intense fighters like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, racing games that make you feel like you’re tearing up a track, shooters with light guns, air hockey tables, skee-ball, basketball hoops, a whole row of pinball machines, and multiple Dance Dance Revolution games. It felt like stepping into the ultimate arcade fantasy, and the best part is it’s all free and unlimited once you’re inside. I could have spent the whole night just exploring all the machines. Then we discovered a huge outdoor patio buzzing with people taking turns singing karaoke on stage. The energy was amazing, and everyone was cheering each other on. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, we went upstairs and found another full bar and a dance floor where literally everyone was moving. No one was standing around trying to look cool. People were actually dancing, smiling, and just having fun. We danced for about three hours straight without stopping because the DJ was dropping one incredible track after another. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a blast from start to finish, and if you’re anywhere near Providence, you absolutely have to check it out. You will have an unforgettable time.

Super fun place. I spent 3 hours just enjoying all the different activities and relived some serious childhood memories with all the old school games. The pinball wall was awesome! The drinks were also delicious and all the staff were friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Love the arcade, cover is very reasonable. Love that there is a dance floor upstairs but I hate the music :( it’s mostly like rave music and that’s just not the vibe my friends and I want to dance to at the barcade. If they played just regular songs of any rock/ alt/ pop/ other genres it would be much better but the sound is just usually so bad. Everybody dances for a little bit but then the dance floor fizzles out so there’s definitely a problem.

If you love arcade games, pinball, skiball, air hockey, foosball, and much more, then you will love this free play arcade! Can be a bit loud but to be expected.

This is such a cozy bar with excellent decor within a couple blocks of our new home and we absolutely love it. The cocktails are perfectly mixed and they have a lovely patio area as well. It's very affordable compared to my former home. So happy to have a place like this so close.

Honestly disrespectful. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at the Avery was deeply disappointing. My wife and I stopped in as part of our East Coast road trip, we’ve visited hundreds of cocktail bars and brewery’s across the country and abroad over the years and we always enjoy supporting great local spots. Unfortunately, this visit was ruined and short lived by a bartender who overstepped in an unprofessional and personal way. Without cause and before we tasted the first drink we ordered she implied my wife was too intoxicated (she was not) and went so far as to tell me I “needed to take better care of her.” My wife was perfectly coherent, happy, and enjoying her evening responsibly. After nearly eight years of marriage, 38 states, 20 countries together, I think I know when my spouse needs my attention and it certainly wasn’t this moment. We had just left a wonderful dinner at Fred. Nearby where the service, staff, drinks, and atmosphere couldn’t have been better! I understand and respect responsible service, but there’s a right way to handle concerns, and this wasn’t it. The approach was condescending, intrusive, overstepping, and ultimately made for a very uncomfortable experience. Given how many bars and restaurants I’ve reviewed nationwide (almost ALL positively) this stands out as one of the most unnecessarily unpleasant interactions I’ve had. I hope management takes this as an opportunity to train staff on how to balance safety, liability, respect and professionalism toward their guests, honestly there’s a way to protect the guest and the bar’s reputation at the same time.

A fun twist on a neighbor bar! The Avery is literally located in a residential neighborhood. It's a fun place! Laid back and chill. A little throwback speakeasy type vibe. You can get your standard cocktails and martinis, plus some oldies but goodies. Old Fashion, Last Word, Side Car, Paper plane.... you get the drift. Worth a try before or after dinner. Cheers!

Cool Art Deco Bar. We stopped year one Tuesday evening and it was a very chill, if not some what, dark atmosphere. They have a great cocktail list and the space – amazing tin ceiling tiles and stunning laser cuts at the bar – is super cool. Great bar to relax for a date or small group gathering. This will become one of my regular haunts as it is a sophisticated place to tipple. The art nouveau decor is beautiful and the ambiance is sexy and inviting. They had old Motown tunes on which enhance the experience even more. The drinks we had were on point. Service was friendly and prompt.

On a Saturday night the bartender was angry that she had to make drinks for four people… She was incredibly rude and made a nasty comment after each person ordered. It doesn’t matter if you’re ordering one of the four cocktails on their menu - she’s going to be aggravated that you’re there - and you’re going to wait ten minutes for one drink. bring back the old owner.

Loved everything about this place but the bartender. Not sure if it was just an off night but she was incredibly rude, and we were almost the only customers in there on a Friday night. Wouldn't look at us, waited a very long time to take our order, snapped at us impatiently several times, and for the most part acted like we were some terrible nuisance rather than customers paying $17 for cocktails. What a bummer. Won't be returning.

Very nice spot for a cocktail. Very friendly doorman and bartenders. I had a Free Man in Paris which was a refreshing gin cocktail. Drinks are $8 for classics and $12 for the house creations. Almonds, olives, cheese and charcuterie are also available for a light bite.

So the concept was very interesting to me and was appealing at first. The execution was not great. While I fully expected the dark atmosphere and the place looked great, the welcome left little to be desired. The music choices did not fit the atmosphere at all. The bar tender was pretty stand off-ish, and the man who let us in did not really entice us to want to stay. It was a little early in the night for crazy foot traffic but the 2 men at the bar seemed to only want to talk to the only other man who came in for a drink. My friends and I each had one drink, which were ok. All in all the place felt seedy, boring and as a woman, a bit uncomfortable. Would not bother to go back. Themes are great when you have people who are dedicated to making it an experience and worth your time. This place unfortunately fails on that for me.

A very chill and relaxing place to hangout with friends. Located behind a semi fake lingerie shop, this speakeasy style bar had great drinks and seat to lounge in and hang out with friends. The only downside being a short menu of food, but I still recommend the cheese plate. Just be aware it has a dark and moody ambiance to bring a flashlight/phone light.

Great concept, cool place. Old speak easy disguised as a lingerie shop. Drinks were good but the service really wasn’t great. Gotta get up and get your own drinks, which is fine, but the bartenders aren’t really quick to help even though it’s really not too busy. Definitely recommend checking it out, good ambience.

From the street, Glou presents a charming and demure atmosphere. A white cedar shake hut, with a well lit patio, on a tree lined street. Imagine my surprise when, before even opening the door, club music was blasting so loud that the door handle vibrated in my hands. It’s dark, it’s cozy, it’s deafening. Had 2 amazing carafes of wine, but bar staff notable did not offer or present any water. The cookie was good. The music was much too loud for the crowd, evidenced by the fact that no one was dancing and everyone was shouting. Maybe it was an off night, or whoever had the aux was thrashing at the confines of their cage, but for a couple that wanted a cozy quiet night. We were pleasantly surprised by a sit-down club. 5/5, just give me water next time.

I LOVED the bartender here. He was SO great and really helpful with everything. I forgot his name but 10/10. Some people had food but we just got the Castelvetrano olives which are my favorite Hard to park here and one small restroom but a good spot overall.

They came back from "vacation" and it seems like a whole different place, and not in a good way. The coctails use to be creative and delicious but it seems like they gave that up. Good martinis but not the place I knew.

Super cute bar with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a ridiculously awesome wine, cocktail, and beer options. We swung by around 9pm on a Thursday and got one of the last outdoor seats. We tried a Sour Heart and a Slovenia wine- both great.

Stopped by last night for their grand opening and it was a wonderful experience! Lexie, Emory, and their team were super warm and inviting. The cocktails are delicious, and I’m excited to go back and look at their craft beer selection. It’s a cozy atmosphere, perfect for casual meetups with friends or for unwinding with a quick after-work drink. There’s also plenty of outdoor space on their patio! Absolutely love the setup and I will definitely be returning.

We’ve been getting our cakes from Pastiche for years and we swear by it. They only get better and better with time and stay true to their commitment to quality. It elevates any event to have these scrumptious cakes. They’re a core memory for us all.

Our family love the fruit tart from here. This is the second tart we have gotten in 2 weeks. Today while my brother is eating, he saw something moving inside of his raspberry. Got my phone out a bit slow but the spider just crawled out of the raspberry onto the tart, you can see raspberry residue on one of its legs 🫠 And this was us bringing the cake back and cut up and serve right away…

The fruit tart was soooo good! I really like the custard inside. Both lemon and banana tarts are good too but not as amazing as the fruit one. We arrived at 12 on Sunday and there was no line.

Atmosphere was wonderful our first time here. Service was great as well. They were able to fit us in even though we didn't make a reservation on a very busy Saturday night. The pasta dishes I would highly recommend. I do not eat meat but my husband who does did not like his crispy pork tenderloin. He said it had no flavor. Despite that I still say it's worth the visit. They have a lovely menu and much to choose from. I recommend you make a reservation before you go. 🌞🍷🌹They do have an outdoor patio where we ate on a beautiful evening even though the music at the restaurant was being drowned out by the horrible music being played across the park we had a lovely meal.

Charming restaurant with beautiful details and lots of free parking. Michael was very attentive. Generous portions. Delicious garden salad to share. Veal bolognese was very tasty, although a little too salty for me. I asked for a little extra sauce for my take home, but was told it would cost $10, which was disappointing and I passed. I ordered the salted caramel dessert and the chocolate crust was very hard, so I had to use a knife. We will definitely go back to try some other options friends have raved about and we’ll do more sharing.

Great Italian restaurant, especially during Water Fire! They let us stay late, food was great, will be back! Even the parking attendant Vincent gave me a book!

One can create a custom charcuterie board with a large selection of cured meat and cheeses. Their flat beard pizza was delicious. We took our server's suggestion on some of the meats and cheese and he nailed it. All the staff were attentive and friendly. An interesting asp8was ordering dessert along with you order since th ey're made from scratch. Their main menu looked delectable as well as I saw dishes coming out of the kitchen.

The service and food was fantastic. You can tell the servers who work there are serious about thier job and take pride in ensuring a good meal experience. Great options for a custom charcuterie board. Dozens of small italian tapas options. The pasta was also top notch. You can tell everything is scratch made down to the desserts. 10 out of 10. Also free parking in their lot, it's a nice bonus when eating in a city. Also I forgot to mention one of the nicest views in any restaurant in Providence of the river and lights on buildings on the far side of the river. We will be back.

My fiance and I went into Bacaro for dinner the other night for the first time and we sat at the bar and had the best experience! The bartender Alexandra was amazing. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Alexandra was quick and efficient with our drinks. She made the best lemon drop I've had in a long time. It's service like this that I can appreciate.

We had a reservation for Friday at 5 PM for dinner. The place was fairly empty, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance was nice, and the waitress was friendly. I had the crab cakes as an appetizer and coq au vin as the main course, both of which were enjoyable. The main portion was generous. They also offer valet parking, which was convenient. Overall, a solid experience.

We went to dinner at Parkside Rotisserie and Bar on Saturday night of Pride weekend. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming. The decor is beautiful and it’s very spacious inside. The lighting inside was also nice and made the ambiance perfect for a night out. There are also a few outdoor tables if you want to enjoy your meal outside on a nice day. We ordered oysters, Colossal Thai Dumplings, Caesar salad, and the Lemon and Garlic chicken. They were all cooked perfectly and were very flavorful. All dishes were great for sharing. The cocktails were equally impressive. Their wine and bubbly selection didn’t disappoint either. Big shoutout to Adam, our server. It was his second day, but he was personable, attentive, and made our experience even better. Can’t wait to come back to try more dishes on the menu.

This is my new favorite restaurant! Came here for dinner before Waterfire from Boston and was so impressed with the food, drinks, service and atmosphere - especially during such a busy time! The blackened cod over grits was unique and summery, and my boyfriend loved the coq au vin. Portions and drink pours were generous on top. Overall lovely experience and looking forward to our next visit!

Stopped by for the $1 oyster on a Friday and got so much more. Connecticut oysters were super fresh! But the show stopper was the bone marrow appetizer. Fantastic on bread with their marmalade concoction. PEI mussels with tomato butter was perfection. Not a fan of mussels but can do the smaller ones. We finished this one down to the last drop. One kid cleaned up the plate with bread. The octopus appetizer was amazing. The only disappointment was the one entree we ordered which was the chimichurri steak. Texture wasn’t great on the meat. Chimichurri was just okay. Calamari was just okay for us even though it was highly recommended. Otherwise we had a fantastic meal!

When on a road trip, it’s always terrific when we happen on a perfect dining experience. Like just now. Our server, Jason, seated us immediately and provided professional, knowledgeable, good humored service. And the food and cocktails were just delicious. The restaurant itself is really beautiful, and the seating is very comfortable. Great place to sit, talk, relax and eat. ♿️

What a fabulous restaraunt! Had lunch here with my wife. The place has a great vibe upon entering. Had the 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with pomme frites and salad. Moist and so flavorful. Burger was cooked perfect. German Pilsner was poured fresh &ice cold in classic mug. Server Nicole could not have been more efficient, friendly and helpful. She is first class. Highly recommend Parkside Rotisserie!

4/2025 - maybe 3rd/4th time to this restaurant.....early on a Friday night.....Chef's Table.....A+.....got a little warm by the end....would be great in the winter or a cold night. We stopped in for lunch during our day trip to Providence, and it did not disappoint. This corner restaurant in the downtown area has plenty of indoor seating with various sized tables, bar seating, and seasonal outdoor tables out front. Their list of craft beer is excellent, and they have a full bar as well. The highlight and not-to-be missed specialty are their freshly made pretzels. Ranging in applications from appetizer to dessert, the pretzels have the perfect balance of a crispy outside and doughy inside. I was absolutely thrilled they offer gluten-free pretzels as well and thoroughly enjoyed my California club sandwich without fear. I highly recommend coming to The Malted Barley for a meal if you're tired of plain old sandwiches and want something different! Especially for anyone who has Celiac disease so they can have some variety.

Amazing pretzels and good beer flights. The prices are affordable and it's a great spot to have lunch or some beers at. I'll be back for sure

This is such a unique place! Extremely big space with delicious pretzel dishes! Wanted something different to eat and stumbled on establishment. Great selection of beer and nice bar area. The rest of the place was huge. Great for groups or solo dinning. Had an amazing chicken sandwich in a pretzel. Nice to have something to eat that is not a bun. The pretzel was crispy and the chicken was delicious. My Espresso Martini was very delicious also. Great service from my waiter.Will be back.

One of my favorite places in Providence. The best pretzels! This time (I’ve been a LOT!) I had their special - blueberry brie grilled cheese - amazing!! So many good beers to choose from.. Bartenders and servers are extremely knowledgeable!

First time in Providence and wanted something fun and light for quick lunch. So happy we came here. We seated ourselves. The place was welcoming and spacious. Our server came over right away to take our drink order and showed us the scan code for menu. We ordered Capresse sandwich ( with pretzel), Hummus sandwich and upgraded our sides from chips to house salad and Capresse salad. We also ordered the soup of the day... Chicken Tortilla Soup and a garlic parsley pretzel with honey mustard dipping sauce. I was totally impressed with my Hummus sandwich and House Salad. Fresh. Everything tasted so fresh. The pretzel was still warm and slight crunch outside and soft/pillowy inside. The salad was deliciously assembled. We finished everything and caved and ordered another jalapeño cheddar pretzel with beer cheese...omg ... it has a good kick to it and the perfect pretzel!!

The staff is very friendly and welcoming from the time you walk through the building doors. We rode the elevator with a worker who was going down and asked if it was ok to ride down then up which of course and they were so pleasant. Once we got off the elevator the hosting staff was equally pleasant and accommodating because it was a last minute thing so I didn’t make a reservation. Service Overall 10/10: The waitress immediately asked if we were celebrating and we just happened to be celebrating getting engaged. She brought over a celebratory drink and we both love bubbly lol. The managers came over separate times and congratulated us, checked on things and offered to take pictures if we wanted. Before we left we did because it was a beautiful sunset. Food Overall 9/10: Roni Pizza Tuna Tartare Rooftop Burger (The Fries were delicious) Drinks Overall 10/10: White Tea Peach Bellini The Perennial Atmosphere Overall 6/10: The music could definitely be better. This is a great space but for the first half the music was all over the place. They would benefit from a curated mix. I will definitely be visiting again.

1st time here: loved the atmosphere and the view of the city. Service was amazing by Stephanie, she was very knowledgeable and upbeat. The teriyaki cauliflower was truly one of the best appetizers I have ever had. The crab dip was very good. The grilled shrimp salad was a great choice and the dressing was very tasty. The birthday desserts were amazing and greatly appreciated. The entire staff along with the management team were very accommodating and made our visit to RI a great one. Thank you and we will be back again!!

Had a proposal done here on one of the most busiest days this month (Pride parade downtown). However, that didn’t stop the team at this restaurant from providing me and my guests the best service despite the craziness. They came multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly. Huge thank you to these people and I’d recommend 100%, whether it’s for the food, drinks, a wedding, proposal, hit these people up!!!

$16 drinks in plastic cups. An espresso martini on a plastic cup?! Dirty tables. Was not offered a drink menu upon approaching the bar and was barely acknowledged despite the bar being completely empty. Saturday night and the place is empty. Oh and the bathrooms are horrendously dirty. Would expect more from an upscale place.

Here for business from Cleveland and wanted to be in the center of the city and what better way than a rooftop. The food was great, Chef Nick came out asking other patrons how everything was which is Hospitality at its greatest. Overall 10 out of 10!

Cool spot for drink. Food was terrible. The most evident frozen burger patty. You don’t go out to a restaurant to have a frozen burger patty. Took one bite and was just to disgusted to even try for more. Tots are good.

Ogie’s Trailer Park in Providence has a great atmosphere and a cozy fireplace, perfect for relaxing. However, the outdoor metal chairs are uncomfortable for long sitting.

Bar tenders were super sweet to my pup! Very fun theme. There for brunch. The food was rich and heavy in a great Sunday brunch way. Lots of cheese, meats and potatoes.

This is a very cool venue. There's parking off street. Service is friendly and polite. This place is also affordable! Good place to go with a small group and vibe and eat tater tots and miller high life in a can. It is a bar with tables and a cool patio. Clean restrooms and restaurant.

We held our wedding welcome dinner at Ogie's and it was the perfect location for us! Their staff was communicative and professional. They had a great options for food and reserved a number of tables for us on their outdoor patio. We love Ogie's and will certainly be back soon!

Ogie’s Trailer Park is the BEST! Brought our pup Jade for her very first restaurant visit and she was treated like family 🐶💚 Super dog friendly and such a chill, fun vibe. The fried chicken sandwich with homemade ranch + tots = 🤯🔥 So good!! Friendliest crew and just an all-around awesome spot. 100% a must-stop on the way to Cape Cod!

Super cute on the inside, great customer service- the employees were so kind and helpful. They did not have crounuts? when I went (on a weekday) but I did try their jelly donut and coffee cake donut. The raspberry jelly was good but it took many bites to get to the jelly, because it was so sweet and rich, it was overwhelming at the end and I couldn’t finish it. On the other hand, the coffee cake donut was delicious- award winning. Everything was super fresh and tasted delicious.

Knead to try harder…mediocre donuts at epicurean prices. Purchased two donuts, an expired milk and a water for $15. Donuts were day olds…despite being there an hour after opening. Good flavor (blueberry lemon and strawberry shortcake) but super dry to the point we didn’t finish. They were nice an about the expired milk and then checked the whole case, but were nonverbal during the purchase. Clearly not morning people.

This is a really cute doughnut shop with a nice variety of fresh high quality donuts. We came on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t too busy and they had a great selection of donuts and pastries to choose from. The service was great too. We got a brown butter pecan donut and a mocha old fashioned donut. The brown butter pecan donut was one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. It was so big and fluffy and had so many little pecan pieces coating it. The mocha old fashioned was good too but the texture wasn’t quite as good and I didn’t taste much coffee flavor. This is a great a great spot with delicious donuts! We’ll be back for sure and will recommend it to friends!

I came in skeptical, and unfortunately, the donuts didn’t win me over. The chocolate frosted with sprinkles and vanilla glazed tasted basic - definitely not worth the premium price. The pecan was the best of the bunch, but overall, it felt overhyped. I’m a PV Donut guy.

Came here looking for a good apple fritter and the apple fritter was good not the best it could be but still yummy. The vanilla glaze is a good choice as well but I hated the chocolate frosted. The donut was dry, the frosting seemed store bought and the sprinkles were not enjoyable. I also got a cinnamon roll donut and it look so promising but there was not cinnamon throughout it was just a plain donut with cinnamon glaze. It was also a bit pricy $6/donut is a bit steep considering the quality.

Amazingly this place is never crowded on weekday mornings making it an excellent meeting or study spot. The cinnamon buns are unparalleled in my opinion, flakey, buttery with just the right amount of sweetness. No espresso drinks, but their coffee is solid.

Really great coffee shop in Providence area. About a 10-15 minute walk from the Brown University campus. The vibes inside are amazing being the shop is an old house. Lots of coffee options to try, along with teas and sweet treats for sale. They also sell many different types of beans you can buy.

Good place to work on a laptop or meet up with friends. A little difficult to park around here but they have a lot in the back! :) I love their caramel latte here. Not very bitter, not super aromatic. Just good coffee. I used to love their pasteis de nata but I don’t believe they still sell those here. Not the most comfortable chairs but they’re not terrible

This place has the best coffee I have ever tasted!! I also had a latte and it was exquisite! I love trying new coffee shops but keep coming back here because nothing has topped it yet. Both indoor and outdoor seating and they has a large list of bean roasts, teas, and a variety of baked goods. Great place to do work during the week or have a coffee date with a friend! Its a pretty popular place so time is limited to 1 hour at a table on the weekends.

Great source of coffee beans to fuel my caffeine needs. I wish they had more earthy and chocolatey flavor profiles, it seems that their selection usually involves a lot of fruit and citrus. But that's a matter of personal taste and I have found my reliables and those haven't disappointed so far

Our absolute favorite coffee spot! My fiancé and I have been coming to coffee exchange for so long and it never disappoints! We get vanilla lattes and since we moved we still haven’t found anywhere that compares. The baristas always know our names/orders and are the nicest people!! Most recently, the team (Casey, specifically!) displayed the most kindness and generosity I have ever seen from a business — big and small alike. If you’re looking for the highest quality coffee and the most wonderful team, look no further.

So people may say this place serves up delicious food...but after visiting after a basketball game at RIC we experienced the opposite. The place was not extremely under staffed but the food was subpar to bar food. The place has a college atmosphere which is understandable but the food and quality of service is way under the value of what your paying for. I would definitely give it another shot but not on my dime.

I was very excited to try ladder 133 as I was told it's not just a bar. Well, I'm doing RI food fights burger challenge, and they were on the list. I tried them tonight and everything was just horrible it wasn't that busy being a Wednesday. However, the TV's were so loud that we couldn't talk to each other, staff slow to get refills and to up sell food items. I wouldn't go back. Food was bar food, if I was rating a bar, I'd probably give 3 or 4 stars because service was still slow, but stop trying to be a restaurant you're not.

It’s crazy I’ve never been here. Both the drinks and food were very good and I get a nicer dive bar vibe. Very affordable prices also. Their espresso martini was $12 and I got their No. 6 cocktail which was only $11. Both were delicious. Their barbecue brunch burger was large and fantastic. ($15) They loaded it with a yummy barbecue sauce and the fried egg, burger itself, with the the brioche bun was spot on. As other reviews said, the service is pretty slow, but staff is friendly and they have good food/drinks.

Went here for the RI Food Fights big burger blowout. The burger was about as average as could be. Bacon was rock hard. The 60 minute IPA draft that I had was a bit flat and tasted a bit off. Apparently the regulars drink the cheap beer and the craft beer doesn't rotate often enough. Sports bar vibe mostly filled with college kids and townies. I have zero reasons to go back. It's fine if it's in your neighborhood but it's not worth driving more than 5 minutes for.

Wings on Wednesday!! There are so many great choices for wing sauces and they are all delicious. I especially appreciated that the kitchen ensured an even amount of flats and drums. Everything is pretty reasonably priced and tasted really good. The different daily food and drink specials will definitely keep me coming back! Our server was fine but not very kind or personable, and the atmosphere is unique being in an old firehouse. Would overall recommend!

Love this place. The service is amazing and they have great hours so you're not stuck with fast food if you want to eat late. It's more than just bar food - it's gourmet bar food - and there is something for everyone. The place is filled with TV's so sports fans can enjoy without missing their game. Great restaurant and sports bar.

The food was delicious and cheap! It's mostly outdoor seating so on this hot day it was a little toasty.

Looking forward to coming back to The Hot Club - it’s in a great location right on the water. We didn’t have to wait for seating and there were great beverage options - including N/A. They have a small food menu but it turned out surprisingly good! The fish bites were flaky and the chicken tenders and a great crunch to them. Great vibes.

Just love the atmosphere here and the outside area. Food is decent, simple pub food for the most part and it is good. The cocktails are ok, could be better but the atmosphere goes a long way. The updates to the place are very nice also.

4/2025 - the place looks awesome. ✅👍 the Deck is open for the season. Remember the 401 club to help the local homeless shelter (Nathanson Street) with a free meal. Chicken sandwiches are the best at the Hot Club. Grilled inside. Taco and Dale are assets to your kitchen. Popcorn is a good add. Obviously even better when the patio is open and it is nice out. Looking forward to summer 2019.

Beautiful spot on the water. No dogs inside or allowed on the deck. They told me only at the entrance picnic tables outside. Pretty yummy clam stuffie and mozz sticks. Unfortunately the grill was down so half the food items were unavailable. And they didn't have Any mint for a mojito. Leaf leaf 🌿 :( Food is ordered at the bar and you're given a buzzer to retrieve it yourself. Lovely bright seating available or darker spots too. The deck has sunny seating or shaded areas. Indoor and outdoor bar available. And free popcorn! Paired with a beautiful fish tank.

I had the WORST experience at the Hot Club this evening. Although my friends and I spent hundreds of dollars on the establishment tonight, we were treated terribly. As women, we were profiled the entire night. We were accused of selling drugs and when we went to say goodbye to friends as we were leaving, we were closely monitored and followed. When the employees were confronted regarding their discriminatory behavior, they deflected and asked us to leave. No problem. We never plan to spend a penny on that establishment ever again. The “manager” with the long beard and mustache is the worst of them all. He was the ring leader of the discriminatory behavior and acted surprised and dumb when confronted.

I always feel safe at hot club even when I’m alone waiting for my friends. The door guys are the best and the bartenders are just as great. Highly recommend the seasoned fries with a side of ranch!

The Comedy Connection in East Providence Rhode Island is 18+ and proper identification is required to enter as the door staff will ask everyone. There is plenty of free parking either out front or around the corner from the club on Potter Street since the city recently completed a specific parking lot within walking distance and right to the front door. It’s always a great adult night out. The last show we saw was Brian Beaudoin a couple of months back and you always get to see several comedians on stage making everyone laugh weather it’s the host of the night or the openers they are all unique, funny, and engaging. It’s also an affordable night out and we always look ahead on their event schedule to see who’s coming and purchase tickets online ahead of time. There is no need to print the tickets out since you can simply show them to the door person from your phone. They feature everyone from local and newer comedians to nationally known names. It’s located in a quaint 1930’s bank building and they have been open for over 30 years now. The venue seats 240 people and they have long thin black tables and chairs and the ushers just seat people as they arrive and based on what makes sense for the amount of people you are with. The seating setup ensures everyone will have a good view of the stage no matter where you’re seated. They also offer cocktails and a few snack options and it can all be ordered by scanning the QR code provided at the table or with a server as they make their way around the club. It’s always nice to look around and see everyone in the club laughing and smiling and taking some time to enjoy life and recharge!!

I love this place. It's small, quaint, intimate. You can see the white of a comics eyes; see the fear in their eyes. But my one complaint is how tightly packed it is combined with wonderful servers always on the move. This meant I had to face my body toward the thin table in front of me to stay out of their way and unnaturally crane my 50ft neck 75° to see the stage and keep that pose for more than an hour. But I still love this place and I'll always come back when one of my faves comes to town.

Venue is great for a comedy show. However drinks are terrible. I got a cosmo with grey goose- it was more like a vodka soda with a splash of cranberry. Got drink 2- definitely not grey goose and no ice. Not sure if there’s a real bartender back there or somebody pretending they know how to make drinks.

It was a fun night at the Comedy Connection. We purchased our tickets online. Upon arrival, the check-in process was simple. They just looked up our names at the door and seated us by first come, first served. The club itself is small and can get compact depending on the show. Drink orders were taken and delivered quickly. Overall, it was a fantastic time with lots of laughs.

Saw Matt Rife tonight and the show was phenomenal. They did a great job at keeping the line moving, getting us to our seats, etc. drinks were good and well priced for a show.

I was here for a Bored Teachers show. The entrance was well organized despite the line being super long. The staff checking bags were friendly. The server started off friendly but after we placed mobile orders she seemed annoyed. Also, there were some people at the table to our right who were talking the ENTIRE show. It is clearly stated that this is not allowed, for good reason, so people could enjoy the show. It was so hard to focus and hear. There was a staff member standing directly to our left who apparently didn’t notice. At one point someone in my party actually mentioned it to him on their way back from the bathroom and he spoke to one of them briefly. A few minutes later they went right back to talking, loudly. I mean everyone around that area kept looking their way, giving them looks, shaking their heads. They weren’t taking hints. It’d be nice if the staff was more enforcing of these rules so people could enjoy the shows.

First time at Layali, had birthday dinner for a friend. Group of 6, made reservations online; received a call to confirm the day before, which was really nice! It’s located downtown and as usual, parking is horrible ! Unless you want to pay 15+ to park at a lot or garage (lots of those near restaurant) you have to drive around and pray to find a spot. The hostess at restaurant was great! She greeted me right away and was understanding that i was waiting for the others in my party. We got sat in the back corner; our waitress was nice but i felt bad for her since half my party was super late (due to traffic/parking) and we didn’t want to order until they got there. We decided to order a few things to share; all the food was delicious ! From calamari to ravioli, everyone loved each option. We brought a cake and the restaurant had no issue holding it in the back and bringing it out after we ate. They brought out cake knive and plates; thete wasn’t any cake/cutting fee that many restaurants offer. After 9pm they turned the lights down and the vibe felt more like a lounge; it got way busy too. Since open till 1am on Saturday im sure it gets great late night crowds. Definitely a fun spot and i would recommend for groups and for dates.

We traveled into Providence from out of state for a Northeast tour and to celebrate a milestone birthday for my mom. We reserved a table here as the food looked good and it was close to the WaterFire celebrations. When we first came up to the restaurant we were skeptical, as the music is quite loud and we had a hard time hearing each other speak across our table. Because of this, we thought we wouldn’t stay long, but within minutes, the service and experience won us over. All of the food and drinks we ordered were delicious (the flaming martini was a special treat!), but it was Daniel whom made this a memorable and spectacular visit. He brought a festive and celebratory drink to my mom for her birthday, joked with the table, knew what everyone needed before we did, and was overall amazing. By the end of the meal we were laughing and enjoying ourselves so much we didn’t even notice the music anymore. Thank you, Daniel, for such a standout experience and evening - you went above and beyond and we sincerely appreciate you!

Visiting the area again and stopped at this nice good vibe spot. The manager was helpful in recommending Outside sitting very nice comfortable, our server Olivia was the best attentive, helpful with drinks options, humorous and and friendly made the experience great on top of the food was the best calamari and pork belly appetizers delicious, let’s not forget the drinks nice flavor made to enjoy! Thank you would highly recommended others to come and enjoy the experience!

First time going and did not disappoint. Not only is the food absolutely amazing, but the services the atmosphere, the whole vibe is a 10/10!!! I went and celebrated my 30th birthday with a few of my closest friends, and the server Amelia, was so sweet, fun, accommodating and super down to earth! I took my mom for her birthday and when we got there we found that the main restaurant was closed due to floor cleaning, so we got to sit in the usually private members only rooftop lounge. It had great views. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. I got the pappardelle alla Bellini and my mom got the lasagna bolognese. The pappardelle was great, and my mom and I both said the lasagna was the best we’d ever had. Same for the focaccia before dinner, the Shirley Temple I had, and the moscato my mom had. It was very fruity and I’ll definitely be looking for that label to have at home. We had the vanilla ala minute for dessert and it was pretty good, but it didn’t look like pictures I’d seen. I’d get the pistachio panna cotta or sorbetto given another chance. Looking forward to going back to eat in the main restaurant next time.

Everything about this place is amazing! We had an amazing evening! From the complementary valet, the hosts and servers everything was top notch. Multiple servers were touching the table, cleaning and making sure we had everything we needed. The food, 10/10 their drinks amazing! I can't wait to go back to this restaurant it was worth the drive!

I’ve been coming here for over three years, probably more than 20 times, and it never disappoints. The food, service, and atmosphere are all a 10 out of 10. Servers are always pleasant—never pretentious, always welcoming. The dishes are consistently top-notch, made with the best ingredients and cooked with elegance. Seating is comfortable, and sometimes I feel like I’m dining at an upscale spot in Miami.

I had high hopes for this restaurant when I booked it for my birthday dinner but I was so disappointed with the quality of food and service I received from the restaurant during my birthday dinner. First, my friends and I were served with bread that was over seasoned with onion and garlic. It was really disappointing as bread served in restaurants as usually really good. Next, we ordered for our main dish and I’m really sorry to say that it was not up to the par. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of food served, considering the prices of the food. The lasagna had a weird and sour taste, while the sauce used for the salad was tangy. My dish came with 5 pieces of shrimp and some unseasoned salad( mind you this dish was really expensive) I also noticed that our server kept giving myself and my friends dirty looks and was rude to us each time we spoke to her or asked for something. My friends and I are very respectful and would never ever disrespect service workers, but to keep getting dirty looks from our server for no reason was really sad and this ruined my birthday dinner. I really looked up to this restaurant and was really excited to try it out but like I said, I was truly disappointed and wished I went somewhere else. I even asked them if they could cut my cake for me and they said they would have to charge me for cutting my cake for me. That was really disappointing because they didn’t even sing a happy birthday song for me and I expected that the least they could do was to at least cut my cake for me for free. I hope the manager read this review and talk to their workers to stop giving their customers dirty looks for no reason, fix the quality of food and make the restaurant overall better. Thanks!

A fancy restaurant, no doubt. White tablecloths, friendly and knowledgeable staff and quality food. However, while some of the dishes were good (vitello tonnato, for example), others were quite average (the beef tenderloin and two pasta dishes). Bottom line - it's definitely an option to consider if you're looking for an upscale dining experience in Providence, but there are better options.

For a classy throwback feel with amazing food and drinks, make your reservation at Bellini. And be sure to get drinks before or after at the rooftop bar by asking your server about it.

Our waitress was Kat and she was extremely well versed with the drink and food menu and was able to explain the diverse flavors to us. The cocktails were imaginative and delicious. The food was excellent and the 4 of us did not walk away hungry. Intimate seating was great for chatting. Music was a tad loud, but added to the ambiance. So glad this popped up on my Google search for best cocktails in Providence.

Boutique is a great word to describe this place. They definitely have a unique ambiance when you walk in. It has a “shadows meets style” vibe. The staff and sever were very good, and he was dialed in on pitching us the perfect drink recommendations for our table. You will find creative mixology at its best here. The drinks are mysteriously delicious, and were poured over a stamped whiskey ice cube that just complimented the drink perfectly. Kudos to the person who created the drink menu. I haven’t had any cocktails anywhere, like the ones I experienced here. We look forward to a new experience on the next visit.

One of the best cocktail bars you can attend in Downtown Providence. It was the perfect atmosphere to have an intimate conversation as well as their drinks are superb! I had the rose hibiscus cocktail and my cousin had the lavender galangal cocktail. They were both delicious. Will be visiting again soon!

Nitro bar is the best! It’s always packed but even waiting in the line, always worth it! I pray they keep the caramelized banana latte for ever! It’s the best coffee beverage I’ve ever had! The pesto smash breakfast is always delicious and so is the pizza bagel!

Omg the caramelized banana matcha with the whipped maple cold foam is INSANE also the Italian pizza bagel with hot honey is so good. This place is so worth the hype !!! Employees are so nice and work hard

I came here once before and got a matcha and have to say that I was a bit disappointed—it was very milky. I came back and tried the chai, however, and it was fantastic. I love that it was on tap, very quirky. I also got the smash sandwich on a plain bagel and it was great, lots of good flavors and a good lunch. The seating is a little awkward because they only have counter spaces and it’s a a tight squeeze but there’s lots of outdoor seating for the warmer weather.

One of the best coffees I’ve had in New England! Definitely worth all the hype and attention. Yes, they’re known for their more extravagant sugary drinks but they always seem to rotate the menu with the seasons and trends which keeps it interesting and also the basic Nitro Cold Brew is my favorite just as is. The line gets long of the weekends so i recommend getting there super early or later in the afternoon on a week day. The workers are always so kind and welcoming. I wish they had a section for indoor seating but they’re a fairly new business so I believe they’ll get there. Overall, dedicated to their craft and a great for grab and go, I will never visit rhode island without visiting this spot :)

This place bums me out lately. We used to come almost every day and fill our growlers once a week if not more. Whole staff seems new, curious what happened to the people that regulars really loved, and twice this week I’ve paid full price for a drink to be skimped on… unfilled growler, so much foam and it comes home like this, or the raspberry chip with no chocolate in it and then a super rude response when asked to add it. I’ve been coming here since it opened, and while their viral success makes sense to me because the product is fantastic, the experience and the cost don’t feel worth it anymore.

The coolest coffee spot in PVD! The blueberry coffee is out of this world, perfect summertime drink, and the caramelized banana latte deserves an all year round place on the menu! Beautiful interiors, super nice and cordial employees! Will definitely come back for sure!

This place is really cute and has such a great vibe. We came for “Appy Hour” on “Tropical Tuesday.” The cocktail were good and strong and they had gf offerings on both the dinner and Appy Hour menus - hush puppies, red beans and rice, and the catfish. Come through - it’s a mood!

This is my go-to recommendation for anyone looking for something a little different on the Hill. Yes, you could go to one of the half dozen wine bars or hookah bars but wont have the same experience. This bar is dimly lit, fantastically decorated with outstanding cocktails, what else could a girl ask for? The tiny "pop-up" kitchen serves up delicious Korean dishes. Just do yourself a favor and grab a drink, spend some time and enjoy yourself.

The Royal Bobcat is fantastic overall! The staff is the best, and I consider them friends. The food is excellent, prepared and served well, and always delicious. The lighting, acoustics, and general atmosphere are comfortable and welcoming. Even with live music, it's possible to have a conversation because of the acoustics. I highly recommend it!

My new favorite bar! There are places that are just aesthetic and places that are just vibey and this place has all the vibes and is aesthetically pleasing in spades. The staff were warm and welcoming, the drinks were delicious (great NA mocktails) and the music was perfect. Already can't wait to go back!

Went with a couple of friends on Wednesday night. The Royal Bobcat is a soul enriching EXPERIENCE in terms of their food and the atmosphere. You have to go on a Wednesday or Saturday evening for the live jazz, and you have to arrive early because there is little seating, but it is 200% worth it! I haven't tried food here that was bad or just ok; everything is always amazing! The kimchi mac and cheese, the bulgogi dogs, the bulgogi cheesesteak, the wings, the dumplings, the shrimp po boy...every item is to die for! One of the most special places I've visited in Providence and a MUST GO for anyone reading this.

I love biking and this is the perfect stop on the most beautiful bike path in the state. Great London fog. Not too sweet. Perfectly strong (and they removed the tea bag so it didn’t over steep and get bitter without my needing to ask - which I love. That’s the right way) they also have “for here” cups in case you don’t like to drink out of plastic or make trash. (Or want to take it with you on the bike) Highly recommend.

Really, really good latte. I wish they stayed open longer (close at 2pm). They have dine in mugs available, which is always a plus. Every table was occupied, but it was also a rainy day so might be more open space in better weather. Would definitely go back for the coffee at least.

What a cool little coffee shop in the perfect area. It’s right next to a bike path and and intersection of several streets with plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. The staff seems very friendly and they have a lot of food on offer as well as baked goods and obviously coffee. Cold brew was great and the ambience was wonderful. I visited early morning on a weekday and it seemed as if there were a good number of locals coming in for their morning cup. I will definitely be back here often.

This is a perfect place to stop on your East Bay Bike Path bike ride, run, or walk. The cold brew and cappuccino are both solid. You can enjoy your drinks in their outside seating area. Most people put their bikes next to the fence that sections off the seating area so that it’s easy to keep an eye on their bikes. If you put your bike next to the part of the fence furthest from the cafe building, there is plenty of shade to keep your bike cool. The bathroom is clean and very helpful since the section of the East Bay Bike Path closet to Providence has fewer accessible restrooms.

Tried Borealis for the first time. Went with a large latte (20 oz) with a maple flavor shot and macadamia Creamer. A little pricey, but thought it was good. Service was good as well, two coffees came out in a minute or two. I'd stop in again, but more of a splurge than a frequent flyer.

Awesome egg sandwiches and Cortados! Loved that they had a nice outdoor seating for the nice weather. They were out of the biscuits so we will have to go back for an egg sandwich on those. We went back, can confirm they are awesome.

I used to enjoy stopping here off the bike path, nice staff and good coffee, but for the past month homeless people have made the outside their new home. Asking for change and giving stares like they're waiting for an opportunity. The staff doesn't seem to care as the number of homeless people around the shop seems to increase. Just doesn't feel safe anymore and has ruined the experience for me. Unfortunately will be going elsewhere from now on.

The hot honey chicken wings were delicious with a side of their buttermilk ranch dressing. Prices were decent and the food didn’t take long to come out. Definitely would come back!

We found this spot after going to the botanical garden, we were greeted by Art, super friendly. He was cool about us moving tables around. We ordered, food was out relatively quickly, and everyone enjoyed their meals. My husband and I split the Cubano, really good. The street corn is good too! Kids liked the wings. Everyone was happy, beautiful day, definitely recommended this spot.

Great rock and roll bar for whiskey and vinyl. The food is solid enough for a dive bar and the drink list (especially the whiskey collection) is excellent. Surprisingly comfortable with a cool crowd of people.

Really great service, good food, and drinks! We arrived late on a Monday night and were pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming the place felt!

I had a couple sides for food and a large amount of drinks. Nice and busy. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff and customers; I made a few friends in here as well. There were always plenty of seats in here and there were like 4 different waves of busy that happened. People who ate, people who came for the game on TV, a group that came to play darts and just drinkers. I would definitely come back. A nice spot.

Great first time experience at Lucky Enough! Visited after positive reviews from a friend. Got the buffalo potatoes and bruschetta appetizers. For the entrees we had the hot dogs, tacos and pulled pork sandwich. Everything was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Casual environment.

Service was great, the inside is sort of like a speakeasy, however it was impossible to hear inside. Between music, a loud group of ladies screaming and just general atmosphere. They could really use some sound absorbing panels or something! Mostly, and worst food took an hour and a half to come out. Drinks are pricey, basic beers $8 and mocktails (and cocktails) are $14 By the time my dinner finally arrived I wasn’t it even hungry, despite the portion being miniature for the price. Would probably not come back here again.

Found this event on IG that was at Needle & Thread so my fiancé and I went. The music was great and the service was great. I didn’t catch the waitresses name but she was very attentive. The food was good and the drinks were good. Our first drink wasn’t a full glass but her recommendation on the next drink was good and it was a full glass.

You know how after the pandemic restaurants lost their good wait staff and now everywhere you go you encounter inexperienced wait staff? Not at Needle and Thread! What a breath of fresh air. Our waitress was polite and efficient. Yes! Thank you 🙌🏼. We ordered the tuna tiny tacos, chicken Caesar salad and short ribs. Everything was nicely plated and delicious.

The first and among the best places we have been to in Providence. This speakeasy had a DJ on Tuesday night playing great music and serving up fantastic cocktails and food! The Harissa Mussels are my absolute favorite and the chicken biryani was a close second. Love the drinks, food, and how nice the waiter was to us. Highly recommended. This place is a rare gem!

I order the tiny tacos and my boyfriend the fettuccine with chicken…. Excellent. We just have a wonderful time. CJ at the bar is your man… he is awesome! We will be back soon

My partner and I visited on a Saturday, early evening and despite the place not being busy, the servers tended to take long with asking for our orders and bringing the check. We started with the fish tacos which were the highlight of the night. I had the N&T Rice Bowl it was delicious but I could’ve done without the grapes and pineapples. Yuck. My partner had the Royale With Cheese which was delicious as well but the fries were overly seasoned. I had the Fruta & Fuego drink which was good but the salt/sugar rim it comes with was disgusting. The atmosphere was chill for the most part but on a cold Winter evening the last thing you want is the fan blowing at your neck. Overall Needle & Thread has some major improvements to work on. It’s like they almost got it but it’s not there yet.

The Name speaks volumes the Architecture is beautiful. Reservations should be recommended prior to going just because it's not huge but the couches and tables make it really cozy. I will definitely go back for this SpeakEasy experience

Great speakeasy venue at 134 Waterman Avenue in East Providence. Amazing bands and lively music! Delicious drinks and nice variety. Very open, comfortable sofas and chairs, booths, and large bar. No food available; but, food can be brought in.

Myrtle is one of the most eclectic and welcoming small bars/music venues in RI, from solo acts and full bands of all genres to movie nights, burlesque, comedy, open mics, and variety shows - Myrtle has it all! The interior decor is cozy & vintage, they keep their bar menu fresh with a good variety of beers, ciders, and award-winning seasonal cocktail recipes, and they have great pop-up food vendors at select events. Owners Tommy & Natalie are very hardworking and accommodating people who really care about local arts in RI and have done such a great job making Myrtle an enjoyable space for everyone! 10/10 would recommend!

Hands down one of the best live music venues in RI. I really appreciate that the room was designed from the ground up with live performance in mind. There's also a spacious patio for those who want to smoke or have a quiet conversation away from the show/crowd. I've had the privilege to play on this stage a number of times and it's always been an absolute pleasure. The musical acts, drinks and decor are all very well curated by the owners. Best of all, there is never a cover!

Myrtle is such a special place to me, and run by some of the kindest people I know. The thought that goes into every aspect of this venue is obvious, and their rallying efforts for the EP community during COVID will not be forgotten! Fabulous drinks, unique music and incredible antique decor makes for one of the best remaining spots in town.

as someone who doesnt drink, this is my favorite place to bring friends out! plenty of mocktail options that arent just glorified juice, reasonably priced, always good service and vibes. the crowd is always an interesting mix of young and old, and the live music adds so much to the atmosphere! cant recommend enough for when you dont feel like dealing with providence crowds + parking

It has style, warmth, and staff service to match these qualities. As a music venue, they also demonstrate thoughtfulness to their programming, offering something unique and original that sets them apart from other venues in the Providence area. They are run by artists and musicians who care about local community and local art. It has been an honor to be able to perform there, I feel taken care of and appreciated, and I also feel great as a patron.

Not only is Myrtle a beautiful, well-run bar with creative cocktails, they're also a pillar of Providence's music and arts community, a haven for fans and performers. From up-and-coming local artists to touring acts, their shows never disappoint. I've performed here and seen fellow musicians perform here more times than I can count, and we are all so grateful for the space you provide us to express ourselves. One of the oldest pubs in the United States, just not the same name lol. The Son's of Liberty drank here! They still serve Half-Yards! A beer drinkers Mecca they have dozens of bottles and draft options. Priced right. One caveat, they haven't painted since the Son's drank there so keep a sense of humor. Great place for some suds. I've been a customer for over thirty years.

Great place to have beers with friends. Been coming here for decades. Over a hundred beers to choose from, so, something for everyone. Popcorn on demand. Small place, no club scene, just a great, historic hangout. Liquor available too.

This is a terrific little dive bar. It's definitely a local hangout, but even as an outsider, everybody was extremely nice and polite. It has a cool little patio area in back with a koi pond. The biggest draw is probably the amazing beer selection. They have about 15 on tap and close to a hundred in bottles. They don't have a kitchen which is disappointing, but they don't mind if you bring in outside food, and the popcorn is good. Overall, I nice little spot.

Cute atmosphere and concept. My drink was underwhelming though. Was supposed to be hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and glitter, but I got hot chocolate and a half toasted marshmallow floating on top. It was tasty, but presentation just wasn’t on point. Eh, I’d give it another whirl, the drinks at the table next to us looked nice.

We reserved the patio for an anniversary party and had a blast! The staff were so helpful and welcoming, and delivered outstanding cocktails to our group of 50 people throughout the night. We knew it was a pretty place with nice drinks but were blown away at how effortlessly Tiny Bar brought our private party to life.

Nice little place. Sit inside or outside. Clean quaint and great drinks. Parking can be a bit of a chore as it's on the street. Your in the city. So. That's to be expected. Definitely going back.

I love going here to this little tiny bar about 6 seats inside but a huge outdoor seating area with umbrella and heat when needed, such a friendly staff helpful with any questions about the drinks and food, great drinks and chill environment. Would recommend they're pretty Ricky and their falling leaves cocktail or sunshower if you like a spicy kick in your drink. Was not hungry at the time so we did not try their appetizers but I did hear their roasted onion dip was delicious for a quick and easy snack.

Cool spot for a cocktail. Unfortunately we were forced to be in the greenhouse on a nice day as the outside area was booked (The greenhouse is super noisy. I would avoid being in it it unless it's cold)

I had a great time and experience at the Walnut Room! Seth is an amazing bartender and the vibe is so cool here I enjoyed the music, conversation with locals and bartender (Seth) who makes you feel very welcome from the minute you walk in the door. I highly recommend this place when you are visiting or local in Providence 😊

This place is so cool!! Love the speakeasy bar vibe and the cocktails were great. Had an Americano ($10), an Espresso Martini ($14) and the La Louisiane ($12). The bartender was amazing too. He knew his stuff and was cranking out tons of drinks on the busy night.

Local business. Cool vibe. Low ambient lighting. 5 2-3 people couches with 3 tools and a table at each. And one larger 5 person couch with 2 tables and small stools all along the parameter. Bar fits about 10. Waitress was attentive. Drinks were stellar. Killer jazz tones from the speakers which set the chill vibe. Cute intimate and you can still hear your friends. Great small space, I can see how you have to come at the perfect time to snag a table. We were lucky enough and it was a perfect pit stop for drinks and conversation with light apps for my 40th birthday celebration drink at midnight. Can’t speak to the menu, except for the mixed nuts which were friggen amazing. Random stop at a night out 5/5. Old and young welcome here.

Kimi’s is a safe space where you and your friends can go for something as small as some drinks in a cozy booth, to a medium sized gathering of chatty people. I’ve only been on Sunday evenings, but the vibe was always comfortable and the noise level wasn’t deafening. It’s a good place to go get your local brew fix!

Nice little place if you're looking to just have a quick drink 🍸 it was my 1st time here but definitely a nice cozy place to unwind for a bit the bartender was friendly and courteous.

Beautiful location with great details and ambiance. I got to meet Kimi herself! So helpful and friendly. Hooked up to the sound system there for a show, very thoughtful design and a great system making it a great place to play. Nice seating indoors, with an outdoor seating area stocked with firewood. Excellent drink menu - no food available when I was there, but we were a little off hours. Overall I would highly recommend it!

Cracking place, perfect atmosphere and a terrific range of drinks. Kimi is lovely and has clearly put heart and soul into this place. The result is a lower-the-lights speakeasy vibe, inclusive neighbourhood crowd and a welcoming space. We arrived as two out of town strangers on a Monday night and left feeling part of it all. Deserves to do really well.

Max, the bartender, is a ninja. He ran the place alone and mixed fantastic drinks. Amazing to see with so many people had their drinks without delay w Max’s amazing skill. Great place, great vibe and drinks.

kimis bar has the vibes on lock. the ukrainian lights give it such a cool, cozy feel, and the mix of cocktails and NA options is a win for everyone. they had anime playing inside, a fire pit outside, and even board games—literally the perfect spot to chill. drinks were solid, atmosphere was a whole vibe, but ngl, the bartenders were kinda rude. still, the spot itself is so unique and fun that i’d go back. 5 stars for the experience, just maybe catch the staff on a better night.

Went here for the first time I bought a drink here and be very careful multiple credit card transactions showed up on my credit card, if you buy a drink here make sure you look at your credit card statement. Clearly, they were more charges after I handover the bartender my credit card to buy my drinks, only to find out there was multiple charges right after, bartender must’ve went in and charged more into my credit card that was unauthorized.

Deadbeats is just my kind of place. With a horror/90s theme too it. Jeff the barkeep is attentive, plenty of cocktail and beer options, lots of the latter being local. I have found the other patrons nothing but nice, and I always seem to find someone interesting to chat with.

If you’re old like me and like horror, this is the place for you! Great place with a very chill atmosphere. Walk in, take a seat and watch a classic horror movie while enjoying their great selection of beers. The bartenders are some of the best in the business and the owners are the greatest. So come down and join the rest of us “Deadbeats” at the best bar in Providence!

Fabulous neighbourhood bar. The chap running it clearly wants everyone to enjoy themselves and works hard to help that along. The crowd is diverse and super friendly. The beer list surprised me, expertly curated and a lot of fun. Best bit though is the atmosphere, it's kind of joyous.

This bar feels like home, generationally and culturally. I am so in my happiest of places here. The millennial halloween nostalgia is perf. The bartenders kind, the pickles tart.

We stopped in for one after grabbing a bit for dinner. Atmosphere was so cool to take in. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and talkative giving us suggestions for things to check out during our time here. The decor is total retro take ya back bettlejuice, ghostbusters, Ronald McDonald. I would highly suggest others to stop in, huge variety of beers/ciders on tap and some cool cocktails. Grilled cheeses made to order served with pickle and cheese balls! You will not be disappointed.

Halloween everyday. Affordable drinks. Good shows. Great atmosphere. Definitely a gem of a dive in the West End.

Food is excellent, I wouldn't think of it as a restaurant more of a bar. But I will definitely order takeout from here. The short time I was there, Ethan was my server/bar tend. Excellent personality. Atmosphere got a 4 star because music was very loud.

My visit was on an NFL Sunday afternoon so obviously the games we’re playing but I would definitely like to return on another night when they have music playing instead. Saying that the service and beer selection was excellent and the interior although large still has a nice cozy feeling.

Came to watch the pacers game with a couple friends. Drinks were decent if you don’t mind waiting five minutes to speak with a bartender. Atmosphere is cool, a pretty young crowd if that’s your vibe. My only real complaint is how I watched a bouncer go out of their way to physically escalate a situation with a non-combative patron who was clearly too drunk to understand what was going on. Probably shouldn’t be working security if your temper is that hot.

Stopped by for RI Food Fights Burger Blowout. It was our first time here! Our burgers were absolutely amazing! One of the best I’ve ever had! Fries were great too. The waitress was so nice & helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Right at the door it’s literally homeless people trash but inside is the nicest waitress and an amazing chef serving possibly the best big mac style gourmet burger in the world and, oh yeah, also perfect fries. I’ve only been once but it was above next level. The prices are really competitive and the quality is way above lots of more expensive places we’ve been.

We visited thanks to the ri food fight event. I saw the reviews ahead of time and was unsure what to expect. My mind was blown, smash burgers are my thing and it was one the best I've had in a while. It was a double patty with the right amount of cheese. They have great fries also. Friends got the chicken sandwich and they were eaving about it. I can't comment on that it is like later at night, but during the day it would be a great place to catch a game!

If hearing the n word every other song is your thing then this is your place. We were there for a drink a 6pm and every song was like that. The bartender was nice hence the 2 stars.

We did not have any food, but my cocktail was amazing! The bartender was very kind and quick. The decor was pretty cool and comfortable. Window seats looked inviting.

Sadly the bartender twice made the worst Cosmopolitan Martini I ever had. Also the holiday setup looked like a highschool student that didn't want to, did it.

Amazing spot for cocktails and snacks! I've been here a couple times and am never disappointed. The vibe is relaxed and classy without being snobbish, and the cocktails pack a punch while still being refreshing and complex. My favorites are the garden party and the cold brew martini. The bartenders and servers rock, but if you drink in Providence, you probably already knew that :) If you're lucky, you might even stumble upon one of their food pop-ups like we did—west African food from Talkin' tummy was amazing. I'll be back way too much.

Great bar, unfortunately employed by dishonest employees who steal from their patrons. Although I have written one review already which has been removed - I don't mind writing another. Yesterday my partner and I accrued over a $200 tip, which we paid and tipped upon. Upon leaving when the bar closed, I realized I'd left my purse behind. I called the bar and was told I they had it. It look me about 10 minutes to walk back. When I'd asked for my bag, the female employee said they didn't have it, which was odd because over the phone, they said they had it. Another male employee came over, asked what it looked like. I described it and he brought my bag. I'm not sure why the employees would say they had my bag, then didn't, then had it again. But I realized when my cash, personal medication, and credit card was stolen I then understood. The THEIF then made two unauthorized transactions on my credit card at Cumberland Farms and an Irving. It's very disturbing that such DISHONEST individuals are employed in a HOTEL whose guests belongings are certainly unsafe.

We grabbed a cocktail here before heading out to dinner. The space had a variety of seating options for different groups. They had a drink menu and also had a QR code that you could scan to bring up some of their previously featured cocktails. The cocktails were too sweet for us.

Was looking for someplace to sit and chill. Found. It's not big. It's not flashy. The music is chill. The wine list is stuff you never heard of. I drank Finnish Rye whiskey. She drank mocktails. It was dope. I'm going back home to make a speakeasy like this.

Great, moody and dark intimate bar tucked within the bowels of the Dean Hotel. This is ASH NYC's first hotel, let alone, first cocktail bar. It's giving classic high quality standards with amazing bartenders.

Had a drink there before having dinner elsewhere in the city. Staff was very kind, ambience is great, and the drinks they created are brilliant. Highly recommend.

Though it was empty, the interior is Charmin, the service was excellent and the cocktail were perfect. I'll come back empty or not :)

We had the Mai Tai and Deankiller and it was amazing and perfect ESP with the tiki DJ vibes. Absolutely loved it.

Highly recommended! The atmosphere feels intimate and perfect for date night. They can also accommodate small groups comfortably. The cocktails are carefully crafted and changed every week! Don’t skip on food, the pizza strips are fire + you can eat the freshest doughnuts you’ve ever had while sipping a cocktail. The owners are awesome and super welcoming!

This place has absolutely wonderful cocktails, among the best in the city if not the best. They are only open for limited hours a couple days a week so plan accordingly. Well worth seeking this place out.

This is by far my favorite place to go on a Friday or Saturday. The cocktails are well thought out, the vibe is casual, fun and always enjoyable. I love bringing friends to this spot with the hope they enjoy it as much as we do and continue to spread the good word.

I had such an amazing experience visiting Juniper! The drinks were second to none and the bartenders were so kind, attentive and knowledgeable. They gave recommendations and created cocktails I had never tried before. A true gem of a place and somewhere I can't wait to show my friends. I will definitely be back!

Every cocktail was on point. Brian and Morgan were super accommodating for food allergies and fantastic conversation buddies! Best Aviation I’ve ever had, and the Feels Like Home with house-infused Earl Grey vodka has me truly inspired. Thank you guys for the best night! Can’t wait to come back.

Lovely hangout, good vibes. Also one of the most hilariously unimpressive meals out I've had as a connoisseur of fine bachelor food. I was looking for a vegetarian dish so I ordered a $20 bowl of rice with a thin layer of semi-flavored legume paste sprinkled with halved cherry tomatoes, pickled jalapenos and, I kid you not, Fritos. If I were 22 years old and stoned I would have called this the height of luxury and sophistication. It wasn't bad. It was inoffensive and edible. It was just deeply silly and so amateurishly concocted that I was more amused than angry or disappointed.

John & Evan are two of the very best bartenders in Providence. They both love to create perfect custom drinks based on the customer's tastes in the moment. Really terrific peeps!

Great time beautiful place to drink hang n sleep

This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I stopped in here late one night and started talking with Chris the bartender. He makes an amazing drink and is extremely knowledgeable about all the restaurants and bars downtown. He ended up emailing us a list of all his favorite places to go and why. Now everytime we go downtown we stop in to see Chris.

The fried chicken sandwich is literally a school lunch ground patty probably pulled directly from the freezer. Unbelievable they charge $17 for this. Side salad was surprisingly good, fresh veggies. Bartender was great.
