Went for July 4th. Wonderful unassuming neighborhood gem in Annapolis by the marina. Love this place, and love the lovely bartenders. It's a perfect afternoon day drinking spot and turns up nicely in the eve. Beautiful people at the bar. Bravo!!

This is just a dive bar. I was excited when I heard the description for the crab pretzel being fluffy bread with crab meat on top, but much to my disappointment, this is just soggy bread with cream cheese and too much salt. The three staff members I attempted to communicate with seemed too busy and disconnected overall a horrible waste of time and money. If you want a real crab experience, there is a much better bar for sailors that is just two blocks to the northwest.

Spectacular pub. Awesome food, friendly staff, and a great selection of food. The pub tots were our favorite, but our entrees (a pulled pork sandwich and house salad) were also excellent. We live in Virginia, but will DEFINITELY be coming back! Additionally, the nearby area is very cute and nice to sit and enjoy the marina.

Wanted to like this place, and I guess for crab it was good. had crab cakes and fish/chips. The crab was really good. The fish (fried cod) was way over cooked and dry. Cole slaw not very tasty and the fries were very bland.

Disappointing Experience – Never Even Got to Try the Food or Sit Down! I’m from out of town and was excited to try this place after seeing online that it was dog-friendly. I brought my dog and planned to sit outside, but when I arrived, things were confusing right from the start. There were no clear signs about where to check in or wait to be seated. I politely asked a young female waitress outside if I should go in or wait there, but she didn’t greet me or seem friendly at all. She didn’t offer any estimated wait time or direction — just an unwelcoming attitude that really set the tone. There was also nowhere to wait for a table, which made things even more awkward. What made it worse was that this happened on a WEEKDAY / Thursday around 12:15 PM, not even during a lunch rush or weekend crowd. It was calm, so there’s really no excuse for such poor customer service! I ended up leaving and going somewhere else, so I can’t comment on the food. After reading other low/one-star reviews, it seems I’m not the only one who’s had issues with rude or unhelpful staff. Hopefully the management addresses this and improves how guests are greeted — and maybe adds some clearer signage for check-in, especially for outdoor seating!

The fish and chips here are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy, golden batter on the outside and perfectly flaky fish on the inside. The portion size is generous, and the fries are just the right amount of salty and crispy. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with a real local charm that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a relaxed evening, Davis’s Pub is the place to be for delicious food and a great time. Highly recommend the fish and chips!

We started with the crab dip, crab balls, and soup with half MD crab soup and half cream of crab. The crab dip was super good. The crab balls were really crispy with a nice amount of meat filling on the inside. The sauce with the crab balls was also pretty good. The soup was exactly what I wanted. It was a nice combo of bold flavors from the Md crab soup with the rich texture of cream of crab. For entrees, I got the boss burger which was basically a double bacon cheeseburger. My girlfriend got the crab dip sandwich. Our server Jenna was very nice and even made me my own spicy mayo for my fries. My burger was pretty good and my girlfriend liked her sandwich too. For dessert we got the butter cake and key lime pie. Both were absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend this place, particularly for a casual lunch.

First time trying Boatyard and the vibe walking in was vibrant with a lot of ocean themed decor. We got a table within 10 mins even though they were extremely busy… The waitress also took our order relatively quickly. We ordered salmon salad, w/ a side of BBQ wings, goat cheese and arugula salad & a hot dog and fries. Honestly, it wasn’t anything special, but it’s an edible American version of sea food (comparing to Caribbean styled sea food which I grew up enjoying). That being said, it filled a belly. Will we willingly return… maybe…

These may have been the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. I loved the mashed potatoes and street corn as sides too. They were a large portion of crab meat, like they say free of fillers. They tasted fresh, and they were creamy, nice texture. The sailor’s mussels were amazing, I’m not even a huge fan of mussels, but these were good. My husband was very pleased with them. Jenna was our server and she took care of us. She was attentive and pleasant! The prices were right too.

I really enjoyed the Boatyard. I was by myself so I sat at the bar and chatted to the bar tender a bit. He was outstanding. I had Antione’s Oysters Rock for an app. They were PERFECT! Gobbled them up and then ate my crab cake sandwich with a couple of Boatyard largers which were also very good! Oh, and the toffee cake dessert was incredible too! Definitely a great spot! Fun atmosphere, friendly and fast service, and awesome food! I LOVE MARYLAND CRABCAKES!! Why can’t anyone else make them like they do??

If you’re ever in Annapolis, the Boatyard Bar & Grill is the real deal. From the moment you walk in, the energy feels alive. the service is on point even when the place is packed. It’s not quiet, but that’s part of the experience. It’s loud, it’s lively, and it feels like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Perfect spot for great food, good people, and that true Eastport waterfront charm. Highly recommend.

On our first visit to Annapolis and we chose to check out the Boatyard for a casual dinner. The weather was very nice so we chose the available outdoor seating. We went inside to have a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. It was a Friday evening, so the place was pretty busy. It didn't take long and we were sitting down ordering. So the food was pretty good, the drinks were good, and the vibe was cool.

Everything was delicious. Flavorful and served up fresh and hot, just like I like it. As soon as the food was ready, it was brought right over to our table. Amazing service and presentation of the food. The ambiance was very pleasant and family oriented. Open space, with a nice bar and store to buy souvenirs and the state of Maryland merchandise. It was absolutely great. Parking lot right across the street for convenient parking. Outdoor seating, covered to protect you from the sun but also a great way to feel the summer breeze. Just awesome.

So glad we stumbled upon this local treasure. Great Irish pub with an authentic feeling to it. I am so glad I chose the crab cakes. They were hands down the best I've had! Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was fantastic. I definitely recommend eating here while you visit Annapolis!

Always love dining here. Food is great, service is great, atmosphere is top notch. If you catch the times when live music is playing it is a wonderful relaxing place to hang out. I pop in here almost every time I am in Annapolis. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Zehra took excellent care of us and was super fast with everything. She also had a great personality. 😊 The food was really good and I have been to Ireland so I would say they did a great job. I had the potato leek soup and shrimp platter. Shepherd’s pie mac n cheese and fish & chips were also amazing according to my friends. This place is definitely one I will return to when we come back for the sailboat show. The chocolate mousse for dessert was also very decadent and rich. I recommend it. 🤤

Stop in after a afternoon of site seeing and shopping, for a quick snack and some drinks! Loved the live music! Service was very quickly and prompt! Had a variety of beers, shots and the fried pickles, and these were so freaking good!!! Highly recommend!!!

A little piece of Ireland right here! Having visited several pubs in Galway, I can honestly say this one captures the true Irish spirit perfectly. The ambiance is spot-on, warm, dimmed lighting, Irish background music, and that familiar cozy decoration that makes you feel instantly at home. The Guinness was excellent, just as smooth and rich as in Ireland, which is saying a lot! The food was a lovely surprise too, with even more variety on the menu than many places I tried in Galway. I had the cod, which was tender and perfectly cooked. The portion was a bit smaller than what I’ve had in Ireland, but the flavor was absolutely authentic that same delicious, crispy coating that makes fish and chips such a classic. Overall, it’s a truly great pub and a very worthwhile experience. For a moment, I really felt like I was back in Ireland! 🍀

Galway Bay is an Annapolis institution...a classic Irish pub serving delicious food like their exceptional Rueben and hand-battered fish and chips The creamy whiskey tomato soup is a treat. Reliably good for decades!

The food was amazing. I recommend getting the Ruben as it is extremely delicious. However, the umbrellas on the ceiling didn't cover the whole thing. Really recommend.

Such a cute restaurant! Their oysters were such good quality and so delicious. They also had amazing crab balls, crab-shrimp salad sandwiches, and crab Maryland soup. Definitely they place to go for seafood. The employees were so nice, and the vibe was so cute. The inside had nice mood lighting, and the outside tables were cute too, right by the water.

Easily one of the best meals I have ever paid for. The swordfish was cooked to perfection. The Chesapeake style was a nice touch with a creamy and smooth texture and delicious lumps of crab. The asparagus was crisp and fresh, and the potatoes were fantastic. Fast service and the water tastes good. I know it is a small thing to most, but water taste is very important to me and this water was good. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. Side note: my wife had the fish and chips and she made and audible exclamation when she bit into both the fries and the fish. With a wonderful golden brown finish and a nice crisp to a soft inside it was fantastic. 4.5 seems a little low to me hard to beat. Edit: The restaurant replied to thank me for my review. I assure you that I got the better part of this transaction, food and service were excellent. Will come back if I ever return to Annapolis.

I've been to McGarvey's twice this week. First time was just for drinks at the bar late evening and then last night for dinner. Both experiences were great. It was super loud inside last night so I was glad we had outdoor seating by a warming stand. The fried oysters were absolutely amazing as was the homemade key lime pie. I also enjoyed my shrimp and andouille sausage pot but it was a little spicy for me.

I’ve been coming to McGarvey’s every chance I get for the past 2+ years and I am literally never disappointed. Their menu options are insane and deciding on one thing is nearly impossible but whenever I do, I’m always please as each item I’ve had thus far, is a winner. Their food, restaurant vibe and overall sense of community makes me want to move to Annapolis solely to become a regular at their establishment. And whoever makes their tacos (especially shrimp) tacos deserves the highest of praise because they are hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had. See photos from my visits over the years.

We were looking for a seafood restaurant close to the waterfront and we stumbled upon this unassuming place. The lively and historical inside was much bigger than we thought. The crab cake appetizer was affordable and delicious and went well with their tartar and cocktail sauces. I got the shrimp diablo pasta, which was my personal favorite. I loved the creamy Cajun style sauce with its slight spice. There was a generous amount of shrimp, and the pasta soaked up the sauce nicely. The fish and chips were also yummy. They had a nice crispy exterior that was still light and delicious.

Made the Annapolis trip memorable! I am not the one who eat oysters but my friend made me and I must say I didn’t hate it, in fact, we ordered more! Service could be a lot faster but that’s expected if you came on a holiday weekend at lunch time.

My friends and I had such a great experience at Blackwall Hitch! The service was excellent from start to finish, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. I especially want to compliment the manager, Rick, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He was so accommodating with our casual attire, giving my friend a shirt, and made us feel completely at ease, which really added to the experience. We arrived just before the bar section was busy. Easily had two seats at the bar. Drinks and food were delicious. The servers are very attentive as well. There was live music as well!

This is one of our go to restaurants in Annapolis. We love the quality of the food and the service is always incredible. There is always availability for seating and there are plenty of spaces to rent for events big or small. There is no bad choice on the menu, everything is incredible! Recently we had the wings in their crab and garlic rub and they were amazing! The Chesapeake is our favorite pizza and I would recommend it to any and everyone.

The bartender was just as great — attentive, easy to talk to, and makes fantastic drinks. The whole place has a clean, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for just relaxing and enjoying yourself. I have been coming here for about a year now. I always enjoy the atmosphere and the service. If you happen to visit when Sara is tending, be sure to ask her about her latest signature drink, "Sara's Luxardo Mojito". It was my privilege to have been the first person to witness it's creation and to taste the magic of this refreshing Mojito. I highly recommend it. Also the "Gus" Pizza. Delicious. Went here for lunch and wine. Had a great bartender John. He is very personable and easy going. He made great food and wine suggestions. The pizzas are so good and then I completed my meal with a delicious creme brulee.

Came here for the first time last night. It's a cute wine bar with a lively vibe. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Had a live band and tvs near the bar area. The drink selection is large for wine of course but they do have cocktail and beer options. The staff was friendly and checked on us plenty. The food options are good too and there are some vegetarian/vegan options as well. The noise level is pretty high but I think that's to be expected in a lively bar environment. Street parking can be an issue but there are several parking garages a couple or few blocks away. Overall I'd say this is a great date night spot or one for friends to gather.

Great location right in the middle of all the downtown Annapolis action with super friendly staff. Our dinner was delicious, but the chicken empanadas not so much. That was a bit of a let-down as they sounded amazing. Wine flights were fun, just wish there were more options for the flights... The kid's cheese pizza was good, so I am curious about their other pizzas... The 4 star...not that anything was wrong...just not as amazing as we were hoping...but it stayed busy...so maybe we just needed to get the right thing.

Stopped by after the no kings march for a quick bite to eat. While I forgot to take pictures of our food I wanted to say how great this place is. Fun and friendly atmosphere with great bar food. Located on a well populated street with stores and places to eat. A great location. I love sitting outside and the day was cool enough to do so.

Went there recently on a first date and we sat at the bar. I had never been to Red Red Wine, and it was awesome. The drinks (especially the Maryland Sour ) and food were delicious. Michael (bartender) and Willa (server) were tremendous…extremely nice, engaging, attentive, and simply great to talk to throughout the night. In fact, we had planned to only have a drink there and then walk around. But, because the vibe and staff were so great, we stayed there for hours. The music they had playing was legit too! Looking forward to going back.

We booked out Red Red Wine Bar +Bistro for a rehearsal dinner in June and could not have made a better choice. Dealing with Lisa and Hunter has been a pleasure. The entire menu planning and set up went flawlessly and they were both so helpful in suggesting items and details to make the night memorable. It turned out to be pouring rain and we asked to come in a bit earlier. They were able to close the restaurant a few minutes before our scheduled time so that we could have the entire place and they did an amazing job with having the tables, bar, and appetizers ready for us, too! They really outdid themselves in accommodating our needs. The entrees were great and we were able to custom order key lime pie and their famous lemon vanilla cake which were both highly praised by our guests. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

As I sit here finishing my meal with a friend, we're both reflecting on how great everything has been during our visit to this restaurant, which we chose to celebrate her birthday. From the food to the service to the overall atmosphere, it has been an exceptional experience. Food & Drink: We sampled a variety of dishes, including the charcuterie board, Brussels sprouts, miso-glazed salmon, lamb lollipops, and a spinach salad. Every dish was flavorful and cooked to perfection – we genuinely had no complaints. The drinks were equally impressive, with each one being well-balanced and delicious. Service: Kim, our server, was outstanding. She was attentive, patient with our questions, and provided thoughtful recommendations that made our experience even better. Chris also stopped by to check on us several times, which added a nice touch of care to our meal. Atmosphere: The restaurant had a charming vibe, and the music was just right. It was loud enough to set the mood but quiet enough for us to carry on our conversation without any trouble. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back again to check out the rooftop!

Second time going here for brunch. I had the breakfast tacos last time and the hash with no ham this time around. Both good but I think the hash just has more flavor and seasoning. The Brussels sprouts were delicious!! Bottomless mimosas are really good as well. Would for sure recommend. Appreciate labeling gluten free options.

Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge is a reliable choice in downtown Annapolis with a comfortable, relaxed vibe. I loved the rockfish — it was fresh, flaky, and seasoned just right, easily the highlight of the meal. The pork belly, unfortunately, was overcooked and didn’t live up to expectations, which was a bit of a letdown. Even so, with dishes like the rockfish, it’s worth returning to see what else the kitchen does well. There's also rooftop dining which is pretty cool as well.

Wish I could give this a bazillion stars! We have always loved Metro but tonight they went above and beyond. I have been diagnosed with some health issues recently and eating out has been very stressful. Chris and Oscar were so super patient and informative to make sure my husband and I had a great meal that would fit into my new restrictions. I cannot say enough good things about how well they treated us. I was so worried about being a pain in the butt, but they were just so kind and accommodating. Left a decent tip but wanted to make sure Chris and Oscar got kudos on here too!!!!

This place was the venue for a small wedding i photographed and they had an entire floor reserved for the couple. The drinks were incredible. The food was great. The staff was super helpful.

Metropolitan is our absolute favorite place for dinner in DTA. The atmosphere, service, and food are all incredible. Lindsey was incredibly attentive, personable, and ever surprised us for our anniversary! Her manager, Chris, mades sure we had the best experience possible and even custom made a meal for us! As an Annapolitan, I can tell you this IS the best brunch. Great selection and the food is amazing. The bartenders are all really great and always seem to remember our drinks (always amazed when people can do that) and the managers always check on you to make sure everything is perfect. Also, the eggplant lasagna is one of my go to meals for comfort food. Just an overall great restaurant.

We recently hosted a private event at Fox’s Den, and it was absolutely perfect! The food was incredible — their pizza, fries, and salads were all outstanding, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests were well taken care of. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and exactly what we wanted for our celebration. This is hands down our favorite spot in Annapolis, and we can’t recommend it highly enough for both a night out and special occasions!

Our take out order was ready when I arrived. Everything was delicious and still hot. The pizza was full of flavor with every bite. The Brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection. Our meal was enjoyed during a sunset cruise.

Brick oven pizza was on point! Also, the rockfish and duck butter fries were good, though a little too salty for my tastes. It's a small but loud space, so it's not the place to go for an intimate dinner...But it's great for a casual gathering. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive.

As an Annapolitan, I can honestly tell you, this is my go to. Their pizza is amazing. The Marissa is the best. The staff is awesome and they always have new and incredible beers. Just love this place.

Foxes Den has dough that is unique and special. Their crust has the depth and character of the 200-year-old Italian yeast strain, that it has been carefully propagated from for generations. “I like it a lot 😋” Atmosphere is warm and easy. The people are friendly, say hi to Tommy, one of the owners.

This place is great. Incredible drinks, they pride themselves in using American made spirits. The duck fat fries are the best, I will be coming back for them. We had an awesome bartender, he was so nice and friendly.

Fox’s Den is arguably the best restaurant on Main Street. In an almost speakeasy type environment a hard working staff is ready to take care of you with whatever you’re craving. They offer an expansive drink menu with a creative appetizer and entree menu focused on pizza. Everything tastes great and you will be sure to come back. Be sure to get there early as it is popular. Don’t be afraid to ask for sauce on the side if you like saucy pizza as their pizzas are thinner.

This place is insanely good! Easily one of my top 3 favorite places. - oysters 🦪 ✅ - calamari ✅ - caviar ✅ - drinks ✅ - Red snapper crudo ✅ - pickles 🥒 ✅ - tinned fish ✅ Everything was absolutely awesome and delicious. Five stars all around! I had such a lovely experience at Sailor Oyster Bar. The oysters were incredibly fresh—clean, briny, and beautifully presented. I followed that up with the smoked whitefish dip, which was creamy, smoky, and totally hit the spot. I also had some of the best dirty martinis I’ve had in a while—perfectly chilled and just the right amount of salty. I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Avery, who was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The ambiance is chill, stylish, and relaxed—great for anyone who appreciates high-quality seafood in a laid-back setting. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Annapolis!

Worth the walk from downtown! It’s a neighborhood raw bar - less tourists & more locals. We came at 4:30 on a Saturday and they were already busy. Oysters and shrimp cocktail were great. Pickles were great (a little spicy) and olives were good too. Our cocktails were delicious. The service was top notch - so friendly all around. There are a few tables outside on the sidewalk.

Place has style & swagger like no other. Cocktail menu is on a whole other level. The restaurant has also gave me a new appreciation for caviar that I have never had before. We added “caviar bumps” to our oyster & clam plate which really brought it all together. Atmosphere & service is great, would recommend this place to anyone.

I stopped by SOB during an April visit to the Naval Academy. Great vibe, excellent food and friendly service. Spencer mixed up delicious cocktails and helped me with my dining order. Best oysters I've ever had and outstanding salmon crudo.

This is my favorite spot in town. Oysters always fresh and delicious + great service. Loved the Sous vide octopus and the my bf enjoyed the torched calamari.

WOW. I can’t believe I waited so long to try Sailor. All of the staff is so friendly and great. Everything we tried was phenomenal, from oysters to a ricotta appetizer. Brody and Rigby were are servers and offered great suggestions. Genuinely these were some of the best oysters I’ve had in a minute.

What a great gem! This place has been a staple since 1965, and you can really feel the cozy, nostalgic vibe as soon as you step in. The menu is extensive, with plenty of options to suit all tastes, there's something for everyone! The service is speedy and the servers are incredibly friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. One unique touch is the daily tradition of reciting the Pledge of Allegiance at 8:30am (I witnessed it on Labor Day, at least!), it's a lovely way to start the day. The decor is also noteworthy, with an interesting collection of photos featuring MD governors and politicians. And if you're feeling adventurous, be sure to check out their infamous food challenge! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a warm, unique, and welcoming dining experience.

I looked around Annapolis for a massive crab cake on the menu, and that is exactly what I got when I came here! The cream of crab soup was very good although it was not a “lump” crab soup… still great though. It was very well seasoned. Just the right amount of salt. I think one thing that is not mentioned enough is how good, soft, and massive the poppy sees roll is! Perfectly buttered and toasted. When I added some crab cake to my roll and dipped it in my soup, it was eye-closing good!!! The crab mac and cheese was decent but nothing too special. The baked potato could have been cooked more. It was a little too firm for my liking. Nonetheless, it was an amazing meal I enjoyed very much! I’m sure I will be back!

I Can’t tell you how much I love the character of this place. Felt like I was transported back into the 1960’s. This place was bustling busy so me & the Mrs. ate at the counter. I went with what was considered the most popular item on the menu which was a jumbo lump crab cake, and I got a classic cheese steak & fries. Both were very delicious. If you happen to be in the Annapolis area, I highly suggest you stop in here. You won’t regret it. I didn’t have the breakfast menu but the plates coming out looked phenomenal.

This place is a local legend and deservedly so. I would say it's among my favorite Annapolis restaurants. There are a lot of options including the famous crab cakes and all-day breakfast. As a result it tends to be pretty busy and you may have to wait for a table if you come during peak hours, especially in the middle of tourist season. It is tight inside and I wouldn't recommend coming here with a group of more than 4 people. It is wheelchair accessible but only through the back alley door. I would recommend coming in the off-season like we did and after 1 pm. But we had a great time and the food was excellent, and we didn't have to wait long for it.

First time in Annapolis and tried to eat each meal somewhere new, but had to take a second trip here. I'm not sure how you can make pastrami taste like it's more than a deli sandwich but it was incredible. The Philly was pretty good, and great burgers. Tried the crab mac and cheese as well, I would say that was good, but everything else was great. Service was really good and the place had a really cool old deli vibe they should never change.

Made two trips. One to try the Super Duper Colossal Burger Challenge and once to try one of the many sandwiches. Fantastic atmosphere if you are looking for diner vibe! Great food. Had one of the hot pastrami sandwiches. Would highly recommend stopping by here.

I love the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. The service was fast and very efficient. The milkshake was incredible. I may have eaten that before my delicious crabcakes. I cannot wait to go back again.

Now, when I tell you this place was a great gem, it was wonderful. My best friend and I truly had an amazing server in Barry. Extremely attentive and understanding to our needs. We did not have a reservation on a Friday evening but the host staff were able to seat us, and comfortably. The environment was warm and clean! If you get the sea scallops(appetizer), expect that it will look insane, only two scallops, but the flavor is there, in the sauce and under the bush of onions. The crab cake was a good balance of crab meat to filling. The old bay "chips" were Amazing. Fresh and crispy all the way through. The seafood pasta was lack luster but still had a great sauce to carry the entree. The only downside to this location was the amount of flies that we had to swat away being seated inside. Understanding that this location is on the water, and you have seafood, that might happen. I would surely recommend this place and have plans on returning.

We had a lovely date night/early dinner on a Saturday evening. We enjoyed the water views from the porch and our server was wonderful. The food is always consistently good! We shared oysters, tuna tower appetizer, and the crab cakes and steak entrees. We will definitely be back!

There were friendly, helpful, attentive servers in a very nice setting with beautiful views of Spa Creek. The food was presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. The appetizer and all of our dishes were cooked to perfection. I very highly recommend Carrol’s Creek Cafe.

We dine here for our wedding anniversary today as a matter of fact. The ambience is pretty good. I like the atmosphere. We had the patio and you can see the water and the boats, that was awesome. Our waiter was awesome. His name was Anthony I believe. But the number one derogatory thing I would say our table was so wobbly that we had to put napkins on under two legs, so it would stop, but it was a decent restaurant. The food was pretty good. The only thing I would say it had to be seasoned a little better other than that it was a pretty good Experience

My husband and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary at Carrol’s Creek Cafe, and I could not have been happier. I had no clue where he had planned for us to have dinner, I just knew that it was a location in Annapolis. From the minute we walked in to the quite inconspicuously located entrance, I was prepared for just about anything! But every single expectation was met, when we were seated outside, immediately next to Spa Creek and the Drawbridge; just in time to watch the entire sunset in all its glory. 🌅 The service, food and wine were all impeccable! I started with the house special - the Sea Scallops, and chose the Sautéed Shrimp and Crab Pasta for my main! Both of these were 10/10 and truly seasoned and prepared to perfection. There was no over seasoning, I could taste each and every one of these fresh ingredients in the pasta… From the grilled zucchini to the fresh lump crab, the cherry tomatoes and the lemon zest 🍋!! My husband had the Cream of Corn soup & the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, both of which he devoured! When my husband made the reservation, he made the note that it was an anniversary dinner, but perhaps they missed this on our reservation when we checked in? There were a few other tables with celebrations like birthdays, and they got a sweet card and that additional special treatment to complement the evening. But this was missed with us - but that's not such a big deal. What a memorable way to end our one year wedding anniversary! Looking forward to going back again, for hopefully more special occasions.

Absolutely fantastic food! Amazing dockside restaurant with view of the marina. The service is great, our waiter was top notch. Can't say enough about this place, a must when visiting Annapolis!

Drinks were so-so, served in plastic cups, but that is to be expected for an outside bar. The only waterfront bar in downtown Annapolis and always has a buzz. Nice view of the Naval Academy Chapel dome. Nice place to stop after a Woodwind sunset sail. .

We sat outside on the dock, it was a great atmosphere with live music. The server was helpful and friendly and was able to help make modifications to dishes that we would like. The food was pretty good and the drinks were fun and tropical.

When I arrived I was immediately warmly greeted and seated based on my preference. There were less than a handful of patrons dining in during the time I arrived. I opted for outdoor seating, I was the only patron, however, two people arrived within 10 minutes and was immediately served a drink and greeted by their server. At this time I’ve yet to be served. The hostess , then, after checking on the new party assured me someone will be serving me, my server then arrived right after. I started with oysters and a drink, the oysters didn’t look fresh or even edible, my drink had a hair in it . I immediately sent oysters back , I took my drink to the bar and told the bartender what was wrong and with an attitude he made a new one , this time not assembling the drink entirely and was very brief and sarcastic. Also, prior to seating at the bar I informed wait staff I’ll now just dine at the bar since I was already indoors. My experience from staff once seated was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I didn’t even drink the first or second drink or eat anything, I just politely informed the bar tender this is below standards for my expectations when dining out and that he can inform the staff in the kitchen which was right behind him I was leaving and not interested. The bar tender simply shrugged his shoulders didn’t care. As I’m getting into my ride a woman runs out yelling at me asking do I have an open tab. I looked at her and said how when I didn’t consume anything. i informed the bartender I was extremely disappointed. I ten say I’m sure he informed you , she rolls her eyes then walk away yelling well you could’ve just said something. I stopped her and told her clearly I did and directed her not to speak to me in that fashion. I proceeded to another establishment where I was able to enjoy the rest of my evening. The atmosphere here felt dark and gloomy a reflection of the employees working here.

Loved the food at this place! It’s yummy and fresh. Many places have reheated chicken in their dishes and I can instantly taste reheated vs just prepared. Their chicken bowl was so delicious! Very tender and flavorful, just-prepared chicken, over a bed of lettuce. Yum! We went with friends and everybody enjoyed their food. The view from the dock is amazing! Definitely ask to sit outside if they have availability! The service was not that great. Half of our party was still eating when the server came and asked if we wanted the check. Kind of rude. She didn’t ask if we wanted two different checks. We clearly had two separate parties in our group. Ultimately, we just told her to split the check.

This place is a must in Annapolis! It has a beachy and lay back atmosphere. Beautiful channel views! Everything that we had was absolutely delicious! We had fresh Oyster, clam chowder, and crab cakes with rice and vegetables. We will be back!

Truly exquisite spot! Great food, drinks and a can not be beat location for people and boat watching at one of the best downtown harbor areas, all for reasonable prices. We went here for a late lunch on a Wednesday and were seated on Pusser's outside dock alongside Annapolis' Ego Alley. If you enjoy people & / or boat watching, Pusser's outdoor areas along Ego Alley is a great spot as you have wonderful views of the Annapolis Harbor while a constant flow of boat traffic makes its way slowly in and out of the narrow channel into downtown. We both had drinks, I had Pusser's famous Painkiller #2 and my wife got the Sangria - both were very tasty and weren't skimpy on alcohol either. For meals, we got the Jerk Chicken Bowl and the Mahi Tacos, both of which have generous amounts of Pusser's Boom Boom sauce (flavorful & spicy thank you very much). Both meals were very tasty with the Jerk Chicken Bowl being a very large amount of food if you happen to be hungry (I ate it all). Our waitress Madison was spot on with service and recommendations - thank you! After eating and drinking to our fill, we just hung out for a while enjoying the scene. Note there's also a seat yourself bar area that looks just as large as the waited area outside - I believe it's all first come first serve for the outside. If you haven't been here, it is well worth a visit - but absolutely sit outside your first time if you can, or you'll miss a huge part of the ambiance IMHO (nothing against the very nice interior). As for us, I'm sure Pusser's Caribbean Grill will become a regular spot for us in Annapolis!

While the view was great the service and food were not. Our server had the personality of a person who recently had a lobotomy. She messed up our order and the bill. The fish was dry. My surf and turf came with a very dried out lobster tail. I’d only recommend this place if you want to overpay for a cocktail and eat bar food with a view. Other than that, I’d stay away from it when there are tons of better options a very short walk from here.

Let me just say this was THE SPOT, at 5pm sharp there was a line and people excited to sit down for wine and dine. I’ve never seen so many people at the door waiting for them to open. The staff was kind and efficient in getting everyone seated and served. Food was delicious, especially the pizza and desserts and the rose wine by the bottle was five stars. Parking onsite and out front on the street as well, but plan accordingly because it is popular and in demand. Indoor and outdoor seating and a fun bar wrap around as well. Great spot and experience.

We waited an hour and 15 minutes for a table here in a random Tuesday night… and it was so worth it. I’ve been told many times to visit this quaint restaurant and I can now see why. We had the most wonderful server, I didn’t catch her name but truly she made our experience so so wonderful. The food was all delicious. Everything was reasonably priced as well… our table of 4 ended up with a bill under $200 and we had everything we wanted. Also clearly red wine is the way to go here, as every table was drinking red wine including ours. Next time I’ll ask for my pizza to be slightly more cooked since i like a bit more crispy crust but I wait to come back.

I knew this place was going to be good but I wasn't prepared for just HOW good it would be. The ingredients and food were very thoughtfully crafted and were high quality. It was all so fresh and this is some of the best pizza we've had in a very long time. I wish we lived closer so we could come more often, but next time I'm in Annapolis I will definitely be back! Also, I really loved the gorgeous garden out front!

This restaurant/wine bar. The staff here is very friendly and attentive to you and your guests. The food is fantastic to the taste, flavors, smells, and presentations! Everything that we tried was great and came out surprisingly quick. We tried the hummus, cast iron skirt steak, and 909 potstikers. The taste of all of them were absolutely fantastic! The cast iron skirt steak is served in a sauce and a side of bread. You're gonna what extra bread to soak up the extra spicy Moroccan sauce. The potstikers were nice and tender citrus ponzu sauce. (A sweet like dumpling sauce) The only thing I would have to say is be ready to order multiple things off of the menu. Everything is made to share. We end up ordering the Miss Piggy flatbread. A great brick oven taste, the flatbread look like and tasted like it was homemade. @vin909wine is definitely a place to stop by to check out for yourself! We will definitely be back!

Vin909 is hands down our favorite restaurant and has quite literally ruined us for eating elsewhere 🤣. It is always the top of our list for where we want to eat. The food is incredible, and dining here is the best value too, since it is not expensive for how amazing the dining experience is. The service always delivers, with staff like Becky who are genuine, nice, attentive, and go above and beyond to ensure your meal is perfect. We went to the French Laundry recently and had a great experience, but Vin909 is still our favorite! My favorite meal as a vegetarian is definitely the risotto (any of the variations!), but the current burrata and the previous wildflower gnocchi are also top notch.

Really outstanding food! Appetizer of mozzarella with pesto and a bit of eggplant hiding under it. We had the spotted hog pizza with various pork products on it. I'm not sure what exactly made it taste so good, but it did. Based on reviews, I made sure we had room for dessert and it did not disappoint. Mine was the bread pudding - which the reviews said we should get. It was a delicious comfort dessert. Some might find it too sweet. He had the fruit crumble. It was supposed to be apple, but it tasted more tart like rhubarb so we were glad he'd also got a scoop of ice cream.

Very cool place. Worth getting a bottle of wine and waiting outside in the nice outside waiting area for your table to be ready. The pizza is a must.

A buddy of mine and I had some time to spare in downtown Annapolis, so we thought we’d get some seafood. The Federal House looked good, so we stopped in for lunch on a whim. We had the crab dip starter, followed by my lobster grilled cheese and my buddy’s “Pick 2” soup and sandwich. Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised. Both of our meals were really good, and our server was entertaining and very friendly. Having the outside patio to relax and chat made for a great atmosphere—nice weather and pretty good people-watching thanks to the boat show. All in all, an afternoon well spent.

We stopped here for a late lunch after a long day of exploring Annapolis. Beautiful and historic. The food and wine were great. We had fish tacos, fish and chips, lobster bisque and a burger. Everything was excellent. Great service too. Highly recommended.

Located in the heart of Annapolis, the Federal House Bar & Grill is an awesome vantage point to enjoy the local atmosphere. Hard charging Midshipmen all over the place…and a few old ones as well. A great selection of beers, cocktails, and wine. We cose to appetizers, the Tuna Mountain and the Calamari. Both dishes were outstanding. Wait staff were professional and welcoming. We’ll be back. Enjoyed a nice dinner outdoors, taking in historic downtown Annapolis and listening to live music. So happy the tables had a little fireplace because it got a bit chilly on this fall day. Would not recommend the cocktails, I ended up sending mine back and ordered a house cab instead. I do recommend the cowboy burger! It’s huge, so if you’re a light eater, split with someone. Fries were excellent! Our server Ann was very attentive and checked on us regularly.

We didn’t eat here, but the food that we saw patrons prior orders looked excellent. They have an excellent drink list. Service was good even though it was a busy Saturday night after a Navy football game. It was busy, but we got seats at the bar right away.

Been about 3 years, and the food was disappointing, ordered steak Medium came out rare. Sent it back only to come back from the microwave well done. The lettuce was From a bag. Ok lets try a burger, that was ok $17.00 plus up charge for cheese And the frys were cold. Sorry will nit be a next time

We dined here for my birthday. The charming and romantic atmosphere was perfect. Our attentive server provided just the right amount of service. The steak was a wonderful cut, perfectly medium-rare, but lacked seasoning and flavor. Adding salt improved it. I’d recommend a ribeye if you go here.

The seafood bisque and yellow fin tuna were both excellent. The cowboy ribeye did not actually impress me, maybe I had high hopes given the $80 price tag, but it was not a great piece.

Despite arriving later than our reservation time, the manager, Marco, greeted us warmly and made sure we were still comfortably seated without any rush or inconvenience. His professionalism and hospitality really set the tone for the evening. The service throughout the meal was attentive and friendly, and the staff made excellent recommendations. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant. Thanks to Marco and the team for making our evening so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My dining experience at Lewnes' Steakhouse was first class, outstanding! Super professional service and exquisite cuisine, I would argue that they should be Michelin rated, absolutely. I eat out regularly and work in the industry, so have more than a bit of experience in the field. Service was best of the best! The interaction from the hostess to waiter and owner/manager was spot on. Courteous, insightful and respectful is name of the game at Lewnes'! Our waiter Mark knew how to entertain and walk us through our dining experience as this was our first time here. His explanations and suggestions were exceptional. The timing of drink and food was spot on, he even decanted the wine and let it breath as we finished our aperitif's. All the courses were delicious. The Oysters Rockefeller were the best I have ever had. For the main course I had the cowboy ribeye and my date had lamb chops. Both dishes were exceptional, I am very particular about temperature of my steak and the chef nailed it! Hats off to the chef. Also, we were greeted 3 times by the owner/GM, he introduced himself when we were checking in for our reservation, then twice came to our table to ensure our experience was perfect and it was. The ambiance is light and refreshing super positive with a bit of excitement amongst the patrons. Lewnes' Steakhouse is now officially my favorite, I suggest you make a reservation as soon as the opportunity presents.

First time at this restaurant, tried based on the reviews. Great choice, my server Matt was phenomenal, very attentive without being over bearing. Food was cooked as asked and had a good taste. Alcoholic drinks were great and were prepared well. Had desert only because it was my bday so Matt brought out like a brownie ice cream combo, nice touch and great tasting. I would definitely try again. Parking is also available across the street prior to reaching the restaurant in an open lot.

Absolutely classic steakhouse. Excellent service in a beautiful room lined with glimpses into a well stocked wine cellar. Everything was perfectly prepared. Highest recommendation.

View and atmosphere excellent. Service was great. He is my one gripe. Their crab cake is touted as a “Maryland True” crab cake, it is nothing close to it! The Baltimore and Annapolis area have a reputation world wide for our crabs and crab cakes. Too many restaurants ruin that reputation by serving sub standard crab cakes. This is a pet peeve of mine. Our crab cake was small and shape like a cupcake and very stringy with no crab lumps and very little taste. For the chef sir, I have included what a real Maryland crab cake looks like.

A wonderful spot for a date night or elevated causal dinner. I would recommend having a reservation if you plan on dining in the evening however they had no issues seating others who did not have a reservation. Everything we ordered was wonderful. I would particularly recommend the crab deviled eggs as a starter and the lobster pasta as a main. Servers were kind and attentive. Food came to table quickly. We will definitely be back!

The absolute best in the Annapolis area. A perfect view of the water as well as the Naval Academy. What ever you select for your meal is tasty and fresh. My crab cake sandwich was pure crab. Drinks are chilled even if you are just ordering ice tea. They have no problem making you fresh decaf coffee. I can't recommend this beautiful inn enough. Try it because you will LOVE IT ❤️

My wife and I loved this location. She had the filet mignon and I had the crab cake sandwich. It was incredible and the location is beautiful. Additionally, our server Thomas was great! The staff was overall helpful but the service from our waiter made it such an enjoyable time. We will be returning soon.

My mom & I went to enjoy the weather. We sat outside on the patio, plenty of seating right on the water. Easily one of my favorite views of Annapolis. The food was pretty good. Crab dip & Brussels sprouts I'd certainly reccomend. Our server was bland at best. As a server & patron myself-- I think walking up to a table with no smile saying "well are you two drinking something. Do you need food yet" is ill-mannered & at his age should have better manners in general. (Especially in the hospitality industry) Don't expect impeccable service, but the environment might help make up for that.

This won't be a long review because this is one of my go to places for dining. It's just beautiful. Located on the Severn River across from the Naval Academy the location is spectacular! Their outdoor deck area is a soul soothing place to sit and eat; the waves coming in and out, beautiful view and no obnoxious music (at least that I remember). The restaurant interior is beautiful too with a great deal of atmosphere. The service has always been amazing. And now the food, wow! As a family none of us have had anything that we haven't throughly enjoyed. In these days of cost, service, and quality cutting the Severn Inn really shines with location, service and menu!

This was my second time at Level lounge, and I was looking forward to this visit a bit more since I had an opentable dining certificate to redeem. My happy hour dinner started nice with their Short rib flatbread and Fried house pickles, and the flatbread was on point with all of its flavors working their magic. Spicy pork belly was a-ok: liked the sauce but the pork belly slices were pretty dry. Curried crab bruschetta was also a-ok. But my dessert, flourless brownie, ruined my meal. It seems to be outsourced and was one of the hardest brownies I have had. The bartender serving me was pretty attentive and pleasant to interact with. In spite of this mediocre dining experience, I look forward to returning here on my next Annapolis visit as my first visit was rather nice.

recently visited Level with friends – A Small Plates Lounge in the Annapolis area and had a wonderful experience. I tried several vegetarian dishes and was truly impressed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their vegetarian options, not just as an afterthought but as a highlight of the menu. The ambiance was cozy and lively, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for creative and delicious vegetarian food in a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

The food and drinks are incredible, the only thing that took off a star was some of our food came almost 20 minutes after the rest, so we were all done eating when one person received their dinner. The cocktails are creative and delicious. Happy hour is generous (great specials on food and drinks before 6pm). We will return to try more!

We just hosted our daughter’s baby shower upstairs at Level, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The drinks were exceptional, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect—warm and cozy with exposed brick and charming string lights, yet still spacious and functional. We loved how the layout worked for us—we set the guys up near the bar in the back and the ladies up front. Everything came together beautifully, and the staff was truly first-class—attentive, kind, and on top of every detail. Highly recommend!

Wow! I can't believe I haven't been here before. Try the pork belly, scallops, shrimps and avocado tacos! Definitely will be back!!!

I cannot recommend Level enough. Lexi took care of my husband and I and was some of the best service we’ve ever had. Food was great, got the duck confit and it was mouthwatering. The chard was seasoned excellently and the duck was super flavorful and tender. The drinks were incredible as always. I asked Lexi to make me a bartenders choice drink which was DELICIOUS. The gimlet is an amazing standard, midshipmen torch was tasty and the strawberry fields was out of this world. If you want great food, service, and drinks then this is the place to go. I’ve been coming here for 13 years and it never disappoints

Ben’s After-Dinner Review: Post-meal cocktails at Level were the goddamn encore this place didn’t know it needed. Bartender Lexi? Savage. Full-on lab coat energy in a black tee, crafting drinks like she’s splitting atoms for flavor. Ask for the off-menu HGSI (if you’re in the know) Biopharma tribute. Hennessy. History in a coupe glass. Don’t ask too many questions. If she ask who you know, just say 'Dave Rubin' and nod like you belong. And the tequila cloud-ship? Bro. That smoky orb made my finger feel like it was entering a time loop. Hit smooth, finished loud. Come for the dinner, stay for Lexi. She doesn’t pour. she prescribes. 🍹🍸🧎‍♂️ Lexi. Forever.

The atmosphere in the beer garden is spectacular! The music, especially B.en is terrific! The food is good. Then it goes south quickly. The management, if there truly is any, is a big zero. The staff doesn’t seem to last long and always overwhelmed. It’s a shame with such a great setting they can’t figure things out! We are frequent visitors over the years and wonder why we come back - but it’s the great setting and music outside. Just have the mind set that it’s going to be chaotic and you’ll see staff standing around trying to figure things out. Hopefully someone steps in and turns it around - I know there’s newer owners and somehow it’s gotten worse.

We chose this location because we had been to the pub downstairs during previous visits to Annapolis and the history intrigued us and the service at the pub was always great (Matt was wonderful). The room we stayed in, The Jefferson room, was facing the street so at night you heard all the street noise. The room was old, which we expected it to be themed as such, however, the rugs were so stained and walls look very dingy. While I understand the room is to look dated, looking dirty is another story. Then on top of it, the service was not quality. The wait staff/hostess were not on top of it. The beer garden staff was great...but the inside staff could have done better. I think overall for the money the customer service inside could have been better. Side note, MATT at the Beer Garden is super cool and very attentive to his customers. We loved him!

I had high hopes for this place being in annapolis but for tea they didn't have as many teas to choose from as I thought. And I couldn't understand my waitress at all who disappeared so we were just left sitting. The sandwiches r very plain . Soup was ok very peppery french onion. I prefer the kate pearl tea room. Its so much prettier and the food is made by an actual chef the sandwiches are so delicious and cute with a variety. And for Royal tea you get charcuterie board soup salad and specialty glittery drink along with scone delicious sandwiches and savories and ice cream at the end with a pearl. This tavern is probably better for beer and lunch. Also the people eating lunch are in the room for tea as well. Parking you have to walk down a hill to get to. The snacks for tea were meh. Ok visit but once was enough

The Reynolds tavern has Rustic Charm, But avoid It if you have kids. I recently visited Reynolds Cafe with my 7-year-old, hoping for a pleasant lunch. While the rustic, old-fashioned decor is truly warm and inviting, creating a lovely ambiance, our overall experience was severely hampered by service issues and a significant lack of family-friendliness. First, the "patronage" (customer vibe) felt quite unwelcoming, which was a surprising contrast to the decor. More importantly, they do not offer a kids' menu. I requested a grilled cheese and fries for my child, which, while off-menu and enjoyed by my son, cost an astounding $11. Add an $8 lemonade to that, and I paid $19 for a single kids' meal – definitely overpriced. The service was also quite poor from the moment we arrived. The host seemed actively to discourage us from staying, mentioning a 15-minute wait for indoor seating and an additional wait for the outdoor patio. We were about to leave when the owner (a kind woman) intervened and we were eventually seated in a lovely upper outdoor area with white tablecloths. However, our waitress was inattentive, offering only one drink refill throughout our meal. To top it off, I noticed a few ants crawling on our table. On the positive side, my salmon gyro was genuinely very good, and as mentioned, my child did enjoy his expensive grilled cheese. Honestly, if the service had been better and they had reasonable kids' menu options, this place could easily be a 4/5 or even a 5 if there were not any ants on my table. But for families, the current experience is not ideal. If you have children, I would strongly advise avoiding this restaurant.

Love this place! My mom and I enjoy going frequently and I even had my wedding shower here. They have so many tea choices and the pastries and sandwiches are excellent. Great atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough!

Reynolds Tavern is not just a meal—it’s a step into Annapolis’ rich history, served with charm and grace. Staff were very kind and attentive and the place was cute! I thought the high tea was a little pricey for the portion sizes but the savory teas great! Everything was delicious and we had a great time. I took my almost 5 year old daughter, which I think she was just barely mature enough to enjoy an afternoon tea. Our server was very kind to her :)

Gordon Biersch is a safe choice in a world of inconsistent dining experienced. Trust that, here your beer will always be served to you cold and in a glass..... Trust that your entree will be flavorful and cooked to order... Trust that your dessert will be able to serve 2 and will worth the extra 2000 calories.... This location officers a variety of seating options from outdoor, booth, high chair table, and bar chair. You will feel welcome, satisfied, and safe,.....and if you are lucky....maybe your waiter will take a step beyond and make you feel like a valued community member and not just a patron...

Gordon Biersch Brewery is a good place to eat. It's a brewery so, in theory, I should comment on the beer. But I don't enjoy the taste of beer. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and caramelized onions with a side order of jalapeño slaw. I enjoy caramelized onions, and I was anticipating a delicious meal. The burger itself was excellent, but the chef gave very few caramelized onions. I was disappointed, and I deleted one star because of that. The jalapeño slaw was excellent. If you're in the neighborhood of Annapolis Towne Centre and it's mealtime, the Gordon Biersch Brewery is a good place to eat.

Beer was good. Brussel sprouts were decent. The two Caesar salads we ordered were absolute garbage. Hers, 16.48 salmon Caesar, didn’t even fill up the to-go dish. Mine, 14.48 chicken Caesar salad, was the same. I would not recommend this place for take out. If you are charging that much for a simple order at least fill the to-go container. My wife and I will likely not go back ever again.

Chicken schnitzel here is always a good choice. The shrimp and mango tacos are also quite tasty with an added spice kick. The beer can honestly be hit or miss. Didn’t think the Maibock was worth the hype but the Trippel Belgian was great.

Love their shrimp tacos! Upgraded to delicious sweet potato fries. Bbq burger and black & blue were cooked perfectly. Garlic fries are made with fresh garlic and it shows. Beer selections are always great.

Great food. We enjoyed our meal. The fries was an appetizer but it filled the two of us up before our actual meals. We got the small size so be cautious of what they say is for 2 people.

The garlic French fries are always delicious. The restrooms are generally pretty clean and I appreciate the waste receptacle next to the restroom door as one departs the restroom. We are big IPA fans and very happy to see that GB includes IPAs now. Having said that, we were very disappointed by the Wicked Cool IPA. It just didn't have a fresh taste. However, the Full Flex IPA was delicious. I also quite enjoyed the Belgian Style Sour with its notes of bananas. The waitress was efficient and cheerfully replaced the first IPA. My only "complaint" would be that the bar tables rock because the feet are not level.

This place is great! I just don’t throw around 5 star reviews unless things are exceptionally great!😊 great cocktails, steak salad ( cooked to my temperature request) burgers and the hand cut truffle fries are great!!!! Go chat with the bartenders, learn about bourbon, try something new! I had a Rattlesnake rye, lemon juice, egg white and absinthe! Wonderful!

My type of bar, great bartenders making great cocktails. Excellent service and mixed drinks. Lots of fancy whiskey, higher prices ($15 per drink) but kinda consistent with Annapolis. Can get busy and slow at times. Great for bringing your buds, or your date out, or even stopping by solo dolo.

Came to Dry 85 for a boozy brunch. I was not disappointed by the drinks at all. They have great cocktails; I especially love the big list of classic old school drinks. The donut bites were interesting. They tasted like mini corn/wheat fried donut ball. They were slightly over cooked which made the outside a bit harder than I would have liked. The steak and eggs was a great pile of tasty protein and a good value for the price. The garlic butter on top set it off. It's flank so make sure it's medium rare or rare be cause it's easy to overcook. The wait staff knew everything about their menu. They were super friendly and quick to help. Will come back soon!

My husband and I decided to elope on Thursday this past week. We wanted to celebrate with a few family members and friends. Dry 85 was happy to accommodate us. Paul, the bartender was amazing. He really went above and beyond to make us feel special!! And the drinks 10/10!

Attentive bartender. Great options on flights on bourbon. Only challenge here is too many choices. Had a salmon salad that was pretty damn good.

It’s nice restaurant but food wasn’t great as much as we expected it to be. The fried chicken has too much batter and seems it had been double fried. The Mongolian beef and shrimp dumplings are good. However, the teriyaki chicken wasn’t that good. Our server forgot my husband’s beer and it took a while for my sangria to be served. The restaurant wasn’t full but the service during our visit was slow. This will be our last visit to this branch.

Stopped in for some hot and sour soup. It's one of the best I've had. Never get the cup, always get the bowl. They say it serves 4 but if your hungry, it serves one to two. If it's an appetizer, then four for sure, maybe five. Brought home some meals to go for the kids.

What a joke. $25 for a take-out container of Mongolian beef that was probably less than a pint in size. $15 for a half-dozen dry and stale shrimp dumplings. The fried rice was good. Now I remember why I stopped ordering from here. It did not used to be this bad.

We had an amazing experience at the PF Chang’s in Annapolis! The food was absolutely delicious - everything was fresh, full of flavor, and reasonably priced. What truly made our visit outstanding was our waitress, Emily. She was incredibly attentive, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. Emily went above and beyond to make the experience very enjoyable. If you’re in the Annapolis area and craving fantastic food with top-notch service, definitely stop by PF Chang’s. If you’re lucky enough to have Emily as your waitress / bartender, you’re in for a wonderful experience! I highly recommend.

We had an awesome time at PF Chang’s in Annapolis! The food was super fresh, really tasty, and not overpriced. The best part of the night was our waitress, Emily. She was so friendly, checked on us often, and just made the whole meal feel fun and relaxed. You can tell she actually cares about her customers. If you go, definitely hope you get Emily as your waitress or bartender. She’ll make sure you’re taken care of. We’ll for sure be coming back!

What an amazing experience! Amanda at the bar made the best Japanese old fashion and Liz was just the best manager. We had a big group at the tables and she made sure we were good and the food was hot and delicious. We shall return!

Had a good experience here for lunch! I had the Philly pizza on a gluten free crust. The crust was nice and crunchy. Cooked to perfection. Kristen did a great job serving everyone in the restaurant at the time. Will for sure be going back.

Neo’s is a fun, relaxing atmosphere with indoor dining or outdoor dining. Their menu offers A variety of many different choices. Their pizza is amazing! Totally a great place to meet with family and friends. Always friendly service :)

Pizza and chicken tenders were delicious. It was empty on a Saturday night at 8pm but it was raining really hard. We sat at the self service tables and ordered our food at the register. Everything was fast and hot.

The pizza, burgers, and wings were all delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. They also have an impressive beer selection that pairs great with any meal. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my new go-to spots!

Fun atmosphere fun friendly staff. The food was excellent came out timely and hot ole bay wings awesome, steak and cheese sandwich onion rings excellent. They serve the drinks here you do not get a tap card like the newer locations which is fun. Bar and dining seating. My only concern is the fountain sodas are so far to walk in the back and this is a large location. All in all great place for wings burgers pizza salads and appetizers

Came with my wife . We had some expectations seeing the reviews but the Veggie Pizza just now was okayish. (Not baked properly, soggy)

Lovely spot for brunch! Lots of options for everyone, everything was delicious! The HUGE biscuits for the table were an unexpected treat and they were served with a yummy pepper jelly. Yum! Our server was so sweet. On our way out we noticed the beautiful pecan pie...next time!

I went to Julep on the recommendation from someone from work and a sponsor a highway sign 🤣. Honestly I am so glad I did! Jackie was my server and she was absolutely amazing. I ordered the biscuits because duh you have to! They were so big and fluffy and broke so easily. The butter tasted sooo good too highly recommend. Then I ordered the Blackberry Chipotle wings which they give you a good amount and covered in sauce. I really tasted the blackberry over the chipotle so it couldve used a bit more heat but still delicious. I wouldve also preferred more crispiness but thats just me. I would totally order again without a doubt! Now on to the main course i ordered the burnt ends special eith mac and cheese and it was soo good. The meat was so tender and the mac was so creamy. I finished it all with the southern smores and that was the perfect amount of sweet. 10/10 recommend if you are thinking of going GO

Service was outstanding! All of his recommendations were spot on. I love a good Old Fashioned, and theirs is definitely ranking near the top for me. The food could’ve used a little more seasoning — just a personal preference — but overall, everything was great. I’ll definitely be back!

Love it here. I've been twice, now, and it is definitely a recommended spot from me. The BBQ offerings are very good (don't expect Texas-level BBQ, though). The BBQ sauces are dumb good, too (you can purchase them as well). The jambalaya I had was really good - albeit, not the best I've had. The biscuits are a MUST. Make sure you get those and ask for some extra butter.

I tried Julep last weekend and I was very impressed. I had the Southern Egg Rolls and they were very delicious. I know it’s an odd combo but trust me it tastes so good especially with the dipping sauce. Also, I had the Chicken Fried Steak over mashed potatoes with macaroni and cheese . The chicken fried steak was bomb. I asked for extra gravy and my server gave it to me. The macaroni and cheese seemed like it was sitting for a while and it was dry. I asked to switch to collard greens (not pictured) and they did and they were really good. I’d like to come back and try the smoked fried wings and friend catfish.

Stopped here for a large family dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by the great service, delicious food, and huge portion sizes. I had the blackberry chipotle chicken thighs with the cornbread and collard greens which was fantastic. We also tried the smoked fried chicken which was great as well. Entrees are definitely enough food for two meals

Loved the catfish tonight! Big piece, flaky and fried to perfection. Crab dip was also pretty good. My boyfriend had the Burnt Brisket ends and he enjoyed that as well. We will be back 😊

My wife and I have been meaning to try this spot ever since the summer our daughter entered the Naval Academy, and we finally made it happen. From the very first bite, we couldn’t help but wonder why we waited so long. The portions are generous, beautifully plated, and every dish bursts with flavor. The seasoning is perfectly balanced—bold without being overpowering—and the sauces are nothing short of decadent, adding layers of richness that elevate each bite. We only managed to sample a handful of dishes this time, but it was enough to know we’ll be back on every trip to downtown Annapolis. The menu is full of tempting options, and I already have my eye on several dishes that sound even better than the last. This place is a must for anyone who loves food done right.

I love this place so much. Mexican-American in a gorgeous setting with great service. Menu is on the smaller side but everything we’ve tried has been great. This was our second time and the cocktails are such a hit. We’ve liked the espresso martini and their margaritas- fair warning, margs are served in a smaller glass and they offer special flavors weekly. This week was cantaloupe- cantaloupe!- great as always. We got the chips/salsa/guac (salsa is sorta puréed but I love that personally, guacamole is just-combined with raw red onion). I got the Caesar salad with salmon. The dressing was perfect, arugula was super fresh, croutons were crunchy but still melt in your mouth. And y’all, they do salmon SO well here. Great on the tostada as well. Posting what my boyfriend got too- smothered burrito. Looked phenomenal.

My family of 5 stopped here for lunch this afternoon after a Naval Academy tour. The appetizers were very small, ordered 2 and each had 5 pieces. The chicken wontons were dry. The burritos were large, not a lot of flavor and no one was really impressed. I ordered the steak tostadas. Terrible. Dry, more than well done, unflavored steak with little to no seasoning I should have sent them back in hindsight. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Went here on 4th of July night, 45 mins before the fireworks show. Surprisingly not busy, our server was nice. We got drinks and appetizers first, the Paloma was refreshing, my partner got the Hibiscus Mezcal Mule and LOVED it! Jalapeno poppers and Chicken Tinga Wonton hits the spot, i loved the greens beds that the jalapeno poppers were on top of. (hot tip: use the japapeno ranch with the jalapeno poppers and greens!!) I got the MP seafood chevice that so happens to be Mahi-Mahi for the day for $18. Refreshing but i wish the fish cuts were smaller. My partner got the Blackened Salmon; the salmon was great, the housemade refried beans was funky as in i think theres cinnamon in it, its different. Slaw was delicious! The bathrooms are beautiful and our server was gracious when we asked for the check quick so we can catch the firework show.

This is a really nice spot with a cozy vibe and nice atmosphere. Well crafted Mexican dishes. Also a decent value for DTA. Smothered burrito has been solid 2 times now.

This was our second time here and it was as incredible as the first. You can’t go wrong with literally any dish or drink, food presentation is stunning- it’s a 10/10, our new Annapolis go-to. The blackened salmon was perfectly made, my husband got the ribs which were also amazing.

Pimento crab dip was really salty. Banh mi tacos were decent and al pastor tacos were better. The desserts were good. I’m giving this place a 2 Star because the lady working inside the building was extremely rude she was yelling at us to order outside if we were sitting outside yesterday around 5 pm (4/18/25). She could’ve said it nicer but very unprofessional. All the ladies outside were nice.

Superb. Great beer - food - staff. Haven’t been in a few years. 13 of their beers on tap. Loved their new “favoritism”. Nice. Nice food selection at varying price points. Inside and outside seating. Sun covers. Water for dogs. Two nice indoor bathrooms. Parking can be tight in neighborhood.

Probably my favorite brewery - vibe, food and most importantly the beer. The open patio offers fire pits, nice ample room to have friends, pets and the whole family out to enjoy. A wide rotating selection of house brewed beer with great pricing per pint. The whole experience is a uniquely fun to visit and is just a 10 minute walk from the Annapolis Harbor. Parking in the area is on street and plentiful. I might have had at least 25 Oktoberfest and now I am onto their new seasonal offerings. The ownership and staff have been very friendly and are often on-site to connect and learn from. Great local business that I couldn't recommend more!

First came here in 2020 after kayaking with my wife and looking for a place to have lunch. With COVID still on the mind of most people Forward still welcomed us in the outdoor seating section. I remember their fight to keep that outdoor seating and supporting them through it. As the years continued we appreciated Forward's can club, support of the bay, and support of the library system. The run club also supported the community and it's fitness goals. Moving away from the Annapolis area and such a great place that is Forward Brewing was tough and something I have yet to find again. Do yourself a favor if you are in downtown Annapolis and looking for a nice little place for lunch or dinner and hit up Forward. They are much more than just beer and deserve your patronage.

Pretty good appetizers and brewery place. Went here while waiting for a seat for the next door restaurant. But was pretty amazed and satisfied by the beer and food here.

An experience that we won't forget! Service was excellent and food was great. We tried Cauliflower Tacos, Spicy Potatoes, Smoke II, Grill Cheese Sandwich. Plus a ton of beers 😁. I will tell you all that the service is what I was extremely impressed. If you want to have a great time either with family, couple or just friends this is a most. Even in covid the set up is amazing!

Sat outside on a warm day. The beer selection was smaller but each beer my group had we enjoyed. The pretzel was great as was the crab roll. It was packed with kids and couples having a nice time. It was a really nice relaxing time. Great spot to grab a good bite and hang with friends.
